- 0:08Speaker 1: Scared Advice, Naughty but nice show. I'm your host to
- 0:15Speaker 1: Rob Shooter. It is Tuesday, which means our favorite Miss
- 0:18Speaker 1: de DELANNEA Dixoner. Are you there hello, Mr Shooter? How
- 0:22Speaker 1: are you doing this morning? Really good? Mister. I love
- 0:25Speaker 1: what we do for a living. I think I hope
- 0:28Speaker 1: it comes across in the show. I love this. So
- 0:31Speaker 1: this morning, before we take the show, I went through
- 0:33Speaker 1: all my emails and found out the latest gossip. They
- 0:36Speaker 1: come in overnight, so we have so many different sources
- 0:38Speaker 1: around the world. Really, it's a really lovely way to
- 0:42Speaker 1: to to make a living. What about you, Mr? You
- 0:44Speaker 1: love this life I do. First of all, I love
- 0:47Speaker 1: talking to you every Tuesday. I look forward to it
- 0:49Speaker 1: every Tuesday morning. And you're right, it's so fun to
- 0:53Speaker 1: wake up in the morning and give these all these
- 0:55Speaker 1: juicy emails about what's going on in celeb life. It
- 0:58Speaker 1: just makes getting up in the morning. Or so, what
- 1:03Speaker 1: time is it? It is tea time that means it's
- 1:06Speaker 1: time for all the dish. The Queen has formed a
- 1:09Speaker 1: new firm of eight. Some royals are in summer out
- 1:13Speaker 1: Let me explain. So they call the royal family in
- 1:15Speaker 1: Britain the firm. It's like a business. It's like the
- 1:19Speaker 1: firm one of the most important companies in the country.
- 1:22Speaker 1: So now the firm has closed the doors because of
- 1:26Speaker 1: the pandemic, and now it's just eight people inside that bubble.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Let me tell you who they are now. Remember, the
- 1:33Speaker 1: royal family is very large. You might come from a
- 1:36Speaker 1: large family yourself. I'm the youngest of five, So would
- 1:39Speaker 1: I make the cut in the Shooter family, I'm not sure.
- 1:41Speaker 1: But let me tell you who made the cut in
- 1:43Speaker 1: Queen Elizabeth's family. Prince William obviously, Kate Middleton, Prince Charles,
- 1:49Speaker 1: his wife Camilla, she's the Duchess of Cornwall. Prince Andrew
- 1:54Speaker 1: that's the Queen's youngest son. We don't hear a lot
- 1:56Speaker 1: of him. Her youngest son, Countess Sophie, that's his life
- 2:00Speaker 1: Princess and that's her daughter, and naturally the Queen herself.
- 2:04Speaker 1: So who's missing. Prince Andrew's missing. That's her middle son.
- 2:08Speaker 1: He's in a lot of troubled, lots of allegations about
- 2:10Speaker 1: him that he has denied. And Jeffrey Epstein his daughters
- 2:14Speaker 1: to Eugenie and Beatrice, they're out. Prince Philip is not
- 2:18Speaker 1: in the inner circle because he's retired. Prince Philip is
- 2:21Speaker 1: her husband nine nine years old. He's retired from all
- 2:25Speaker 1: the royal engagements, and obviously the two that are missing
- 2:28Speaker 1: that we talk about all the time, Megan and Harry
- 2:32Speaker 1: are out. What do you think, mister, Well, Rob, you
- 2:35Speaker 1: and I talk about this all the time. You really
- 2:38Speaker 1: want to be surrounded by people you can count on,
- 2:40Speaker 1: you know, people that you know have your back, and
- 2:42Speaker 1: I think that's what the Queen is doing right now. Um,
- 2:45Speaker 1: it's so interesting. I saw that socially distanced picture of
- 2:48Speaker 1: her firm of aid Um and these are people that
- 2:52Speaker 1: she knows that you know, they're going to have a
- 2:54Speaker 1: united front. They're going to go out and talk about
- 2:56Speaker 1: their charities and things that are important to them, and
- 2:59Speaker 1: it would be kind it difficult to do that with
- 3:01Speaker 1: the Prince, Harry and Megan. I mean they're living in
- 3:03Speaker 1: an entirely different country. And as you spoke about her
- 3:07Speaker 1: other son, well, he has issues that he's been dealing with.
- 3:10Speaker 1: So it feels about right in my book. Right, that's
- 3:12Speaker 1: so interesting. I like a small group. I know a
- 3:16Speaker 1: lot of people because of what we do for a living,
- 3:19Speaker 1: but my actual inner circle is probably even less than eight.
- 3:23Speaker 1: It's probably about five. In fact, when I Bruce and
- 3:26Speaker 1: I got married, it was a very very small wedding.
- 3:29Speaker 1: It was only about five or six of my friends
- 3:32Speaker 1: that attended. It was really was a lot of family
- 3:35Speaker 1: and then friendship wise, I don't have that many close friends.
- 3:38Speaker 1: What about you, Miss d Do you have a bigger
- 3:40Speaker 1: circle of smaller circle? Where do you fall on this? Well,
- 3:44Speaker 1: when it comes to my family, first of all, I
- 3:46Speaker 1: come from a very tiny family, so it's kind of
- 3:48Speaker 1: by default. But what I find really interesting is that
- 3:51Speaker 1: my sister got married and her family has made me
- 3:54Speaker 1: a part of the inner circle, even though I'm not
- 3:57Speaker 1: necessarily related to them by Bloodbviously I have my nephews
- 4:01Speaker 1: and so we're related, but her mother in law, the
- 4:04Speaker 1: father in law, my new brother in law, they've kind
- 4:06Speaker 1: of welcomed me with open arms for the good, the bad,
- 4:09Speaker 1: and the crazy. When it comes to friends, you know,
- 4:13Speaker 1: this is how I write my holiday cards. I go
- 4:16Speaker 1: through my phone and I see who have I contacted
- 4:18Speaker 1: the most in the last three six months, and those
- 4:22Speaker 1: are the people I send cards too, because those are
- 4:24Speaker 1: the people that I'm communicating with. There's tons of people
- 4:27Speaker 1: we know from this business. And yes, you can send
- 4:30Speaker 1: cards to everybody, but I really want to make sure
- 4:32Speaker 1: that I get it to my inner circle and then
- 4:34Speaker 1: if I have cards leftover, I send it up. I
- 4:36Speaker 1: like that idea. If you pull up your phone today,
- 4:39Speaker 1: not during the show, everybody, but after the show, it's
- 4:41Speaker 1: only twenty minutes, but very quick, have a look at
- 4:44Speaker 1: who you've called or who you've received a call from
- 4:47Speaker 1: in the last four or five weeks, and there is
- 4:49Speaker 1: probably your inner circle. Or so, let's go to a
- 4:53Speaker 1: pole of the day. The queen has formed a new
- 4:56Speaker 1: inner circle. It's only about eight members of the family.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Does your family just your family haven't in a circle?
- 5:04Speaker 1: It's such an interesting question. Let me know. You can
- 5:06Speaker 1: go to a Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob at
- 5:09Speaker 1: facebook page is Naughty Gossip, leave a comment there. I
- 5:12Speaker 1: mean sure, had to check back tomorrow to hear your results. Mister,
- 5:16Speaker 1: what are you working on? Love? Oh well? Forbes is
- 5:19Speaker 1: revealing the twenty twenty edition of the world's highest paid celebrities,
- 5:24Speaker 1: and who do you think top the list? It's none
- 5:26Speaker 1: other than Kylie Jenner. So now she earned approximately five
- 5:32Speaker 1: hundred and ninety million this year, and now most of
- 5:35Speaker 1: that comes from her selling a majority stake in her
- 5:38Speaker 1: cosmetics firms to Cody. So who's behind her up? Let's
- 5:42Speaker 1: just keep it in the family, because it's Kanye West.
- 5:45Speaker 1: He came in at number two with a hundred and
- 5:49Speaker 1: seventy million, not quite a billion, but not not nothing
- 5:53Speaker 1: to laugh at. That was because of his easy sneaker
- 5:56Speaker 1: deal with Adidas. Let me tell you some of the
- 5:58Speaker 1: other people who are on the list, as Tyler Perry,
- 6:00Speaker 1: He's at number six with millions, Howard Stern was at
- 6:06Speaker 1: number eight with ninety millions, and Dwayne the Rock Johnson
- 6:11Speaker 1: rounds out the top ten with a cool eighty seven
- 6:14Speaker 1: point five millions. So, Rob, I was studying this list
- 6:17Speaker 1: and I was wondering, which which number are you at?
- 6:22Speaker 1: You know, I would love to be rich, I really would.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I think I would. I have a really nice life though,
- 6:27Speaker 1: And I've got to say I thought about this. It's
- 6:29Speaker 1: like a game show. If you could hit pause now
- 6:32Speaker 1: on your life or gamble it or for the million dollars,
- 6:35Speaker 1: would you do it? I think I would hit pause.
- 6:37Speaker 1: I don't hurn a million dollars, but I also do
- 6:40Speaker 1: believe I've had many different jobs, so have you mistake.
- 6:43Speaker 1: The more I got paid didn't necessarily make me more happy.
- 6:46Speaker 1: In fact, one of my jobs when I was an
- 6:49Speaker 1: editor executive editor of a magazine, I was a bit
- 6:51Speaker 1: miserable and I got paid so much money, but I
- 6:53Speaker 1: gave up my life for that amount of money. They
- 6:56Speaker 1: wanted to be able to call me from London twenty
- 6:58Speaker 1: four hours a day on the weekends. I had no
- 7:01Speaker 1: life when I was a publicist for j LO and
- 7:04Speaker 1: particularly did he did? He calls and emails all the time.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Paid me a lot of money, Thank you very much.
- 7:10Speaker 1: But even so, I think I do really believe this.
- 7:13Speaker 1: See if you believe this, I like earning just a
- 7:16Speaker 1: little bit less and not having to give up my
- 7:20Speaker 1: entire life. Where are you on that, misty? I think
- 7:25Speaker 1: I'm going to agree with you on this one. I
- 7:27Speaker 1: have for the last year and a half or two.
- 7:30Speaker 1: I have a little small gig on the side that
- 7:33Speaker 1: pays my bills and it allows me the freedom to
- 7:36Speaker 1: do all the other things that I'm interested in doing.
- 7:39Speaker 1: So um, I definitely like the idea of being more
- 7:42Speaker 1: especially you know, when you get older, you just want
- 7:44Speaker 1: to be comfortable and happy doing the work that you
- 7:46Speaker 1: do and not be so ground and grinded every day
- 7:50Speaker 1: just to make a dollar and make millions of dollars.
- 7:52Speaker 1: And I'm hoping that I get jobs that pay me
- 7:54Speaker 1: more in the future, I think too. I was like,
- 7:56Speaker 1: what else would I want? Like? Do I need a
- 7:58Speaker 1: new pair of shoes? Note? Do I need more clothes
- 8:02Speaker 1: at all? No? I can pay my rent every month.
- 8:05Speaker 1: I can afford to go to body in them and
- 8:06Speaker 1: buy some drinks, and so, to be honest, I think
- 8:10Speaker 1: I think I would hit pause now. I really like
- 8:13Speaker 1: the life I'm living right now. I hope you do too.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Moving along shore, Menders is talking about the rumors about
- 8:20Speaker 1: his sexuality, saying he actually suffered by all the rumors
- 8:25Speaker 1: that he was gay. He said it was very frustrating
- 8:27Speaker 1: for him. He actually has people in his life who
- 8:30Speaker 1: were gay and in the closet, and it's a very
- 8:32Speaker 1: tricky thing. He said, he's not gay, but he would
- 8:35Speaker 1: be fine if he was. There's nothing wrong with being gay,
- 8:38Speaker 1: but he is not, and he didn't really know how
- 8:41Speaker 1: to respond to the situation. This is so interesting because
- 8:45Speaker 1: if people keep calling you gay and you're not, do
- 8:49Speaker 1: you ignore it, do you respond? Or if you are gay,
- 8:53Speaker 1: do you answer it. Where where do we go with
- 8:56Speaker 1: this misty? It's more complicated than I initially thought. Yeah,
- 9:00Speaker 1: a little um complex. It's interesting that men are still
- 9:03Speaker 1: defined by what is masculine stereotypes. And Sean spoke about
- 9:07Speaker 1: he said, you know, New Year's Eve, he didn't play
- 9:09Speaker 1: a lot of sports. He was getting us hair braided
- 9:11Speaker 1: on New Year's Eve because he was surrounded by women.
- 9:14Speaker 1: And I think a lot of celebrities are kind of
- 9:16Speaker 1: blurring the lines of what is traditionally male and female.
- 9:20Speaker 1: You can look at Harry Styles, you can look at
- 9:22Speaker 1: Billie Eilish, and so I think this generation is really
- 9:25Speaker 1: saying we need to throw away stereotypes and let people
- 9:28Speaker 1: be authentically who they are. So, you know, we don't
- 9:33Speaker 1: want to And I think it's weird that we like
- 9:35Speaker 1: wonder like what is your sexuality. It's like, let's not
- 9:38Speaker 1: wonder like if you're gay, or if you're straight, or
- 9:41Speaker 1: where you fall on the spectrum. Let's just wonder if
- 9:44Speaker 1: you're a good human. That's what I think we should
- 9:47Speaker 1: be asking celebrities, Are you a good Those are the
- 9:51Speaker 1: words of wisdom of the day that is so so smart.
- 9:55Speaker 1: You're right, I don't think about people's bedroom habits. When
- 9:58Speaker 1: I see them for drinks at Botty Knows wherever we are,
- 10:01Speaker 1: I think about if we're having a good time and
- 10:02Speaker 1: we're giggling and we're laughing, I don't go there with
- 10:06Speaker 1: my mind. This one's really interesting. It's sort of At
- 10:10Speaker 1: first I thought it was just a silly gossip story,
- 10:12Speaker 1: which we love. But then I thought about it. How
- 10:15Speaker 1: tricky is it? I'm day obviously, but when people called
- 10:18Speaker 1: me gay when I was younger, and I wasn't quite
- 10:20Speaker 1: ready to admit it, maybe even to myself, I just
- 10:23Speaker 1: lied and said no, no, no, I love the girls,
- 10:25Speaker 1: which I do. I just don't like doing you know
- 10:27Speaker 1: what with them. But I do love all my friends
- 10:29Speaker 1: and girls. But if you were straight and somebody kept
- 10:33Speaker 1: calling you gay, I don't know if you respond, is
- 10:37Speaker 1: that insult your gay friends? I don't know what to do.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Let me know what's happening with miss Megan Mark or
- 10:42Speaker 1: Misty Oh. Well, Megan knows how to give a gift
- 10:46Speaker 1: because she is getting the Oprah stamp up approval for
- 10:50Speaker 1: a gift that she's given to Oprah. And not only
- 10:52Speaker 1: is this gift so great, but it's making Oprah's annual
- 10:56Speaker 1: list of favorite things. So what it is. It's it's
- 10:59Speaker 1: called a super latte mix. Oprah put up a video
- 11:03Speaker 1: and she was putting a scoop of this mix and
- 11:06Speaker 1: with some hot water, and then she fropped it off
- 11:08Speaker 1: and she put in some more hot water and she
- 11:11Speaker 1: was like, it's delicious, you know. Now, she didn't mention
- 11:15Speaker 1: that she got it from Megan by name, but this
- 11:18Speaker 1: is what she did to make it crystal clear that
- 11:20Speaker 1: it came from the Duchess of Sussex. She said, on
- 11:23Speaker 1: the first day of Christmas, my neighbor m sent me
- 11:26Speaker 1: a basket of delicious ness. And then she put in yes,
- 11:30Speaker 1: that M crown emoji, just in case you were confused. Now, Rob,
- 11:35Speaker 1: we gotta get to the to the heart of this.
- 11:37Speaker 1: This mix comes from a company called Clever, and Megan
- 11:42Speaker 1: has actually invested in the company. Now her peeps are
- 11:46Speaker 1: are declining to say how much she's invested in the company,
- 11:50Speaker 1: but it does have six employees and they make all
- 11:52Speaker 1: sorts of mixes. They've got like Golden Latte and shy
- 11:56Speaker 1: So I guess this is her new family business. See,
- 12:00Speaker 1: are you going to be getting some I like this
- 12:03Speaker 1: at first, but now it sounds a little bit like
- 12:05Speaker 1: a hustle, like a business maneuver. So Megan owns this mix.
- 12:08Speaker 1: She sent it to Oprah. Oprah posted it for millions
- 12:11Speaker 1: of people and included in her Special Things. And what
- 12:14Speaker 1: do you feel, mistery about sending holiday gifts that you're
- 12:18Speaker 1: associated within the company? Like, is that right? That would
- 12:22Speaker 1: like me sending out I don't know, pieces of gossip.
- 12:26Speaker 1: I mean, okay, so you know, I do a little
- 12:28Speaker 1: talk show on faces and one of the girls has
- 12:31Speaker 1: a whole branded line of products, and so what do
- 12:33Speaker 1: you think we got for Christmas? I'm cool with that.
- 12:37Speaker 1: I mean, but look, if it's something that you're going
- 12:41Speaker 1: to use and you enjoy, why not. I mean, it
- 12:45Speaker 1: saved you money from having to buy something from your friend.
- 12:48Speaker 1: It is one when the Bethany Frankel had her talk show.
- 12:50Speaker 1: I knew a lot of producers on the show and
- 12:52Speaker 1: they really it was not a happy place. However, for Christmas,
- 12:57Speaker 1: Bethany gave them all a gift and they're all excited
- 13:00Speaker 1: about It was very tough to work with her around her,
- 13:02Speaker 1: so they thought, oh, a nice Christmas gift, that will
- 13:05Speaker 1: make up for it. She sent them a bottle of
- 13:07Speaker 1: that skinny girl why the kila whatever that drink she makes,
- 13:12Speaker 1: and so she just gave them a bottle out of
- 13:14Speaker 1: her basement of her own company. It was so weird.
- 13:18Speaker 1: I know that we're not happy about that. Quickly before
- 13:20Speaker 1: we get a break. This is adorable. Blake Shelton is
- 13:23Speaker 1: revealing that he hid Gwen Stefani's engagement ring for a
- 13:27Speaker 1: whole week in his truck before he proposed. They actually
- 13:31Speaker 1: got engaged a couple of months ago, but they didn't
- 13:33Speaker 1: announce it until October. Then he said he didn't really
- 13:37Speaker 1: know what to do with the ring. He was on
- 13:38Speaker 1: the Bobby Bone Show I Love Bobby, and he said,
- 13:42Speaker 1: for about two and a half weeks, I put the
- 13:44Speaker 1: ring in my truck. There's apparently a compartment in the
- 13:48Speaker 1: door in the truck where he puts all his stuff,
- 13:51Speaker 1: but lots of stuff falls out, and he remembers hiding
- 13:54Speaker 1: the ring in the truck. I was thinking about hiding gifts, Misty,
- 13:58Speaker 1: particularly with Christmas coming up. Do you hide family gifts
- 14:01Speaker 1: around the house? So what do you do? Well? Yeah,
- 14:03Speaker 1: I try to hide all the gifts in my closet
- 14:06Speaker 1: in my bedroom, but I happen to like go away
- 14:10Speaker 1: for like a day or two, and um my sister
- 14:13Speaker 1: decided she was going to sleep in my bedroom. So
- 14:16Speaker 1: I'm sure she was in the closets all the gifts,
- 14:19Speaker 1: but we're such were The way we do Christmas in
- 14:22Speaker 1: our family is we send out a gift list with
- 14:25Speaker 1: actual lengths to where to buy the gifts, so it's
- 14:27Speaker 1: not exactly a surprise, but you don't know who is
- 14:30Speaker 1: getting you what from the list. I guess now she
- 14:33Speaker 1: knows everything. I use somebody that looks for gifts I do.
- 14:36Speaker 1: I don't do it anymoreks that used to drive Bruce insane.
- 14:39Speaker 1: And we live in an apartment in New York City.
- 14:41Speaker 1: It's not very big. There's two closets in the whole place,
- 14:44Speaker 1: and so there's not many places to hide stuff. And
- 14:46Speaker 1: when Bruce would walk the dog or go out years ago,
- 14:49Speaker 1: I might have a little poke around those classets. I
- 14:52Speaker 1: don't do it anymore. But I used to look, do
- 14:55Speaker 1: you look, mister you? I don't. I like to have
- 14:58Speaker 1: one gift. I always have. My family alway surprises us.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Even though we make this list. They always give one
- 15:02Speaker 1: gift you're not expecting. And I like that feeling of surprise,
- 15:06Speaker 1: and it's so much fun to watch the nephews because
- 15:09Speaker 1: they're just kids and they have so much fun. So
- 15:11Speaker 1: I like that idea of surprise and happiness on Christmas.
- 15:14Speaker 1: I'm looking forward to it. I love it. We're getting
- 15:17Speaker 1: to take her quick break and we'll be back with many,
- 15:20Speaker 1: many more surprises. Welcome back to the Naughty but Nichelle
- 15:27Speaker 1: and robbed shoot her with our friend Miss did De
- 15:29Speaker 1: Lena Dixon to Lena, Let's get to the polls, do
- 15:32Speaker 1: do dot so? The pole results are in. Yesterday we asked,
- 15:38Speaker 1: Kim Kardashian's new Hulu deal is even bigger than a
- 15:43Speaker 1: hundred and fifteen million dollar deal she got from even bigger?
- 15:47Speaker 1: Are they worth it? Yes? Or no? Said no, they
- 15:52Speaker 1: are not worth it. Mr. I should point out here
- 15:56Speaker 1: that the reporting yesterday are exclusive reporting. Is that nobody
- 15:59Speaker 1: who who really knows what the Kardashians are going to do,
- 16:02Speaker 1: and a lot of people think they've been hired basically
- 16:05Speaker 1: to be marketing directors or pr ambassadors for the brand
- 16:08Speaker 1: and now we're all talking about Hulu. So maybe they
- 16:11Speaker 1: are worthy a hundred and fifty million dollars plus. That's
- 16:15Speaker 1: a lot of money, But we do know that when
- 16:18Speaker 1: you put your Kardashian on something, it tends to make
- 16:21Speaker 1: you money, So I think it might be a worthwhile
- 16:24Speaker 1: investment for the company. I have to say, I just
- 16:26Speaker 1: saw the funniest skit with the Kardashians where all the
- 16:30Speaker 1: girls played different versions of their own family. So it
- 16:33Speaker 1: was like Courtney was playing Kim and Chris was playing
- 16:38Speaker 1: uh Kylie or something. So it's really I think that
- 16:42Speaker 1: they can make fun of themselves and if they bring
- 16:45Speaker 1: back their brand, especially on Hulu where the rules aren't
- 16:48Speaker 1: so strict of what they can do and what they
- 16:50Speaker 1: can say like cable television, I think they could do
- 16:54Speaker 1: some really funny stuff and it might be worth turning
- 16:57Speaker 1: into or maybe they'll just do a series of Ashel's
- 17:00Speaker 1: not Show. So like it's like it's more like appointment
- 17:03Speaker 1: viewing television than Oh, I know they're coming on every Sunday,
- 17:06Speaker 1: So I think there's a lot of ways they can go.
- 17:10Speaker 1: They're yeah, they're probably worth on. Yeah we disagree here,
- 17:13Speaker 1: we don't probably do that. Don't forget to vote on
- 17:15Speaker 1: Today's pole. You can get to actually to page that's
- 17:17Speaker 1: naughty nice Rob on Facebook page is naughty gossip Leave
- 17:20Speaker 1: a comment there and be sure to check back tomorrow
- 17:23Speaker 1: to hear your results. And now it's time for a nicest. Well,
- 17:30Speaker 1: our nicest of the day is Tom Cruise and it's
- 17:34Speaker 1: all because of his annual Christmas gift that he sends
- 17:37Speaker 1: to his friends. Now, according to Rosie O'Donnell, she knows
- 17:41Speaker 1: the Christmas season has started when she gets her holiday
- 17:44Speaker 1: gift from Tommy Tom Cruise and basically for the last decade,
- 17:49Speaker 1: his signature item has been the white chocolate coconut bunt
- 17:53Speaker 1: cake from Dawn's Bakery, which is a small family run
- 17:57Speaker 1: business and wood Lynn Hills, California. Now everybody seems to
- 18:01Speaker 1: love this cake, though I'm surprised celebrities are eating cakes,
- 18:05Speaker 1: but anyway, Jimmy Fallon says it's unbelievable. Kirsten Dunn says
- 18:10Speaker 1: it's one of the best cakes I've ever had. Henry
- 18:13Speaker 1: Kevill says it's the most decadent and the most amazing cake. Now.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Tom Cruise said back in two thousand and eighteen that
- 18:20Speaker 1: when he's training for one of his high action profile roles,
- 18:24Speaker 1: he doesn't consume sugar and that's pretty much all the time,
- 18:28Speaker 1: so he basically doesn't eat the cake himself, he sends
- 18:32Speaker 1: it to other people and then waits for the phone call.
- 18:35Speaker 1: So I guess he's like eating vicariously through their calls
- 18:38Speaker 1: when they say how good it is. But Tom, if
- 18:41Speaker 1: you want to put me on your list, I will
- 18:43Speaker 1: definitely have a piece, said miss d that cake. You're
- 18:47Speaker 1: our nicest of the day and now the naughtiest of
- 18:49Speaker 1: the day. Naughty, naughty, naughty. There's a new expose in
- 18:52Speaker 1: the New York Post, page six about Howard Stern claiming
- 18:55Speaker 1: that he's actually worse than Ellen. There's an incident where
- 18:59Speaker 1: a long time engineer at the show his wife got
- 19:02Speaker 1: very sick, battling cancer, and he asked the bosses if
- 19:06Speaker 1: he could set up a go fund me page cover
- 19:09Speaker 1: the expenses, and they said yes, but you couldn't use
- 19:12Speaker 1: Howard's name, image, or the name of the show. Eventually,
- 19:15Speaker 1: they raised a lot of money, but Howard was reportedly
- 19:18Speaker 1: upset that he felt pressure to contribute to this. So
- 19:23Speaker 1: now people are coming forward and saying that he is
- 19:26Speaker 1: not a really nice guy to work with. I'm not
- 19:29Speaker 1: exactly surprised by this. Howard was the one who told
- 19:32Speaker 1: Ellen to lean into being a total b You know what, um,
- 19:37Speaker 1: so I wouldn't be surprised that he wasn't didn't have
- 19:40Speaker 1: the warm fuzzy feelings with his employees. However, I can
- 19:45Speaker 1: kind of see both sides of the story because if
- 19:47Speaker 1: you do it for one person, right, and you've got
- 19:49Speaker 1: hundreds of people working for you, now you've said a
- 19:52Speaker 1: precedent that you have to do it for everyone, and
- 19:55Speaker 1: you don't want to pick and choose. Oh, I'm going
- 19:56Speaker 1: to help your wife with cancer, but I'm not going
- 19:58Speaker 1: to help your sick dog, you know. So I think
- 20:01Speaker 1: he's like when I don't mind supporting people, but it
- 20:04Speaker 1: can't be about the brand. The brand is something entirely different,
- 20:08Speaker 1: and he has many, many charitable causes. And I'm so
- 20:11Speaker 1: glad that this person was able to start their go
- 20:13Speaker 1: fund me page and didn't need Howard Stern, that people
- 20:16Speaker 1: just cared enough to give to his wife, because that's
- 20:20Speaker 1: what you should do. So thank you what I think,
- 20:24Speaker 1: thank you, missy. Now it's time for a moment to rob.
- 20:27Speaker 1: You get a rob you get a rob you get
- 20:28Speaker 1: a robber. So we tried to make for twenty minutes,
- 20:31Speaker 1: but for a minute or a moment where a little
- 20:33Speaker 1: bit more serious it is smart to be kind. Don't
- 20:35Speaker 1: be kind just because it's the right thing to do.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Also do it because it's a really smart thing to do.
- 20:41Speaker 1: The kinder you are, the more you will get back.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Some of my biggest breaks have come from people I
- 20:46Speaker 1: was kind too. I didn't know they could help me
- 20:48Speaker 1: or would help me, but they did also too. It
- 20:51Speaker 1: is kind to be smart, be smart, be kind to yourself.
- 20:55Speaker 1: You are smart, and if you are both, life will
- 20:59Speaker 1: be so much better. I absolutely agree. I definitely have
- 21:04Speaker 1: said this before. I think of myself as a kind person.
- 21:07Speaker 1: I think that the world always needs more kindness, and
- 21:10Speaker 1: of course tis the season to be kind. So just
- 21:14Speaker 1: you know, be nice to people. It's tough. We're still
- 21:17Speaker 1: dealing with the pandemic. So exciting that the vaccine is out, um,
- 21:22Speaker 1: so just take time when you're in the store as
- 21:24Speaker 1: you're trying to shop, you're dealing with people on the phone.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Remember they have harried lives to say a kind word.
- 21:30Speaker 1: You never know how it's going to come back to you,
- 21:33Speaker 1: but I can tell you this, it always does in
- 21:36Speaker 1: some way. It does. Amen. That's it for today. Thank
- 21:39Speaker 1: you so much, miss d and thank you for listening
- 21:41Speaker 1: to the Naughty but Nice with Rob Show, a production
- 21:44Speaker 1: of I Heart Radio. Don't forget to subscribe on the
- 21:47Speaker 1: I Heart Radio app, Apple podcast, or wherever you listen

- 21:58Speaker 1: about the show. Thank you by love getting your notes,
- 22:01Speaker 1: your comments and altogether. Now remember, if you're going to
- 22:05Speaker 1: be naughty, yet you take care of everybody here. It's
- 22:12Speaker 1: not even nice with Bro
