- 0:02Speaker 1: Hello and welcome to Outspoken. It's your dose of the
- 0:05Speaker 1: hottest influencer and pop culture news twice a week. I'm
- 0:09Speaker 1: Kate Torber and coming up on today's show, Tammy Hembrough
- 0:12Speaker 1: unfollows her husband on Instagram for a third time. The
- 0:16Speaker 1: content strategies behind influencers' multi-million dollar mansion sales. What exactly
- 0:21Speaker 1: has gone down between Olivia Rogers and her stylist Paul Versace?
- 0:26Speaker 1: and Meghan Markle's handwritten clapback. The first, Michaela Tester has
- 0:30Speaker 1: finally dropped the first of three explosive podcast episodes about
- 0:34Speaker 1: the Paul family. The first installment went for two and
- 0:37Speaker 1: a half hours and I was hooked for every.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Second of it.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I was watching it at home and Dale was like,
- 0:43Speaker 1: What on earth are you watching? This sounds like absolute crap.
- 0:46Speaker 1: I'm like, Dale, you don't even understand. This is a
- 0:48Speaker 1: pop culture moment right here. Yeah, well, it was on
- 0:49Speaker 1: YouTube and I really love this format for Michaela because
- 0:54Speaker 1: it felt like you were having a debrief with one
- 0:56Speaker 1: of your best friends in bed. The thing I liked
- 0:58Speaker 1: most about it is she made a point of saying
- 1:00Speaker 1: that she wasn't monetizing the YouTube because she sees it
- 1:03Speaker 1: as immoral. And no one should be profiting off it.
- 1:07Speaker 1: And I thought that that was a really clever move.
- 1:09Speaker 1: I mean, it's already sitting at almost a million views.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Can you think of the amount of ads revenue.
- 1:13Speaker 2: She could have made? Yeah, she could have made a lot.
- 1:14Speaker 1: And she also pointed out that she had different podcasts
- 1:17Speaker 1: requesting her to come on. I think this is the
- 1:19Speaker 1: best way that she could have put this information out there.
- 1:22Speaker 1: And we will be going into more detail on Friday's
- 1:24Speaker 1: show about this.
- 1:25Speaker 2: She provided a lot of receipts.
- 1:27Speaker 1: And I think she came across as very intelligent and
- 1:30Speaker 1: very articulate. I couldn't believe that she sat there Speaking
- 1:33Speaker 1: like that for two and a half hours, it was captivating.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Yeah, it was captivating.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Her boyfriend has come out and said that they filmed for,
- 1:40Speaker 1: I think, 10 hours and they've had to put a
- 1:42Speaker 1: lot of time into the editing. As you said, Amy,
- 1:44Speaker 1: we will be covering it all on Friday because we
- 1:46Speaker 1: really wanted more time to sit with the content and
- 1:49Speaker 1: take it in before discussing it on air. Now, one
- 1:51Speaker 1: frivolous thing I want to ask you guys about this
- 1:53Speaker 1: podcast episode is what did you eat while sitting down
- 1:55Speaker 1: and watching that because that was a bit of a
- 1:57Speaker 1: trend on TikTok. People were putting up their snacks because
- 1:59Speaker 1: this was literally like a movie. I originally wasn't planning
- 2:02Speaker 1: to watch it, but Rhys fell asleep, which was great
- 2:04Speaker 1: timing for me. And we had had Indian takeaway and
- 2:07Speaker 1: I was so full, but I'm like, I need a
- 2:08Speaker 1: sweet treat during this. So Rhys had actually got me
- 2:11Speaker 1: a Biscoff brownie from the bakery down the road and
- 2:14Speaker 1: it was delightful with a cup of tea.
- 2:15Speaker 2: So I didn't have anything.
- 2:16Speaker 1: I was getting ready for a wedding and had my
- 2:18Speaker 1: in-laws over doing renos. I was huddled in my bedroom,
- 2:21Speaker 1: sitting in front of my mirror and And all I
- 2:23Speaker 1: could think was, I hope they can't hear this at
- 2:26Speaker 1: all because it would have been like, what the hell
- 2:27Speaker 1: is she listening to?
- 2:28Speaker 2: What about you, Amy?
- 2:29Speaker 1: I had Pringles and also, which I haven't had for ages,
- 2:33Speaker 1: but David got them for me, and a picnic bar.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Which was Brandon's recommendation. I don't know if I told
- 2:38Speaker 2: you about this, Kate, but.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Randomly Brandon had this poll at work for all of
- 2:41Speaker 1: his colleagues to vote on the top favourites chocolates. And
- 2:45Speaker 1: Picnic 1, which shocked me to my core because it's
- 2:48Speaker 1: never been a favourite of mine. I've always rated picnics
- 2:51Speaker 1: until I choked on one as a kid at the movies.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Well, I hadn't had one.
- 2:54Speaker 1: For years and I've got to agree, there is something
- 2:56Speaker 1: just delicious about a picnic bar.
- 2:59Speaker 3: I am eating my dessert. How do you eat it?
- 3:02Speaker 4: With your hands.
- 3:04Speaker 1: In what's starting to feel like Groundhog Day, Tammy Hembrough
- 3:07Speaker 1: has dramatically unfollowed her husband, Matt Sikowsky, on Instagram for
- 3:12Speaker 1: a third time. The unfollow came just days after the
- 3:15Speaker 1: fitness influencer shared a teary TikTok confessing she was feeling.
- 3:19Speaker 5: Flat and having a tough week.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Sophie, can you bring us up to speed?
- 3:23Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I first became aware of this when a
- 3:25Speaker 1: super sleuth reached out with a screenshot showing that Tammy
- 3:29Speaker 1: was no longer following Matt on Instagram. And I just thought,
- 3:32Speaker 1: are they serious? I can't believe this is happening again.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Oh my God. I just don't understand it at all.
- 3:37Speaker 1: I can't imagine having a fight with Reece. And the
- 3:39Speaker 1: first thing I think to do is unfollow or block him.
- 3:42Speaker 1: And I mean, with her, she knows that people are
- 3:45Speaker 1: going to notice it as well.
- 3:46Speaker 5: That's a thing.
- 3:47Speaker 1: What makes it worse is their careers are on social media.
- 3:49Speaker 1: So it's even more of a statement. Tammy also appears
- 3:52Speaker 1: to have removed a number of recent photos of them together.
- 3:55Speaker 1: I'm hoping that she's using the archive tool rather than
- 3:58Speaker 1: the dirty delete, because that would get rather awkward being like, oh, fuck,
- 4:01Speaker 1: do I re-upload it? Well, I noticed that Matt's in
- 4:04Speaker 1: Melbourne and I wondered if that had anything to do
- 4:07Speaker 1: with this recent unfollow. Yeah, Amy, he is in Melbourne currently.
- 4:10Speaker 1: And what makes this argument a little bit different is
- 4:13Speaker 1: usually he will retaliate and unfollow Tammy but this time
- 4:16Speaker 1: he didn't which said a lot to me because in
- 4:18Speaker 1: the past it's been a bit unclear who unfollowed who
- 4:21Speaker 1: first because it's happened pretty simultaneously and in this case
- 4:25Speaker 1: maybe Matt can't risk the petty unfollow back because He
- 4:29Speaker 1: has some groveling to do over something. Well, it seems
- 4:31Speaker 1: like every time Matt is away, there seems to be
- 4:34Speaker 1: some kind of issue that results in Tammy unfollowing him.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Do we think potentially maybe he's matured and that's why
- 4:40Speaker 1: he didn't unfollow back? No, I think he fucked up.
- 4:44Speaker 2: And that's why he didn't unfollow back.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Or he just knows the pattern now and he's like, okay,
- 4:49Speaker 1: so Tammy's going to unfollow me, then I'm going to
- 4:51Speaker 1: smooth it all over with her and then she'll just
- 4:53Speaker 1: follow me back. Yeah, and the logistics of having to
- 4:56Speaker 1: go follow and unfollow, and he probably knows it will
- 4:58Speaker 1: lead to a bigger argument if he does the unfollow back.
- 5:01Speaker 1: The timing of the unfollow is pretty crazy because it
- 5:03Speaker 1: comes exactly four months to the day since their wedding.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Happy anniversary, Tammy.
- 5:08Speaker 1: And it's also been a year since Matt and Tammy
- 5:11Speaker 1: first unfollowed each other and that was, of course, after
- 5:13Speaker 1: the infamous Grand Prix fiasco.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Was that a year ago? Time is absolutely flying.
- 5:18Speaker 1: I was wondering why the Grand Prix didn't really seem
- 5:20Speaker 1: to make a mark like it did last year. And
- 5:22Speaker 1: this has made more sense to me because Tammy briefly
- 5:25Speaker 1: unfollowed Matt after he was caught out DMing another woman
- 5:28Speaker 1: after a night out at the F1s. Oh no, but
- 5:30Speaker 1: wasn't he just DMing her for his friend?
- 5:32Speaker 2: That was his claim, remember? Yeah, he was just wingmanning
- 5:34Speaker 2: his friend.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Now the woman in question, she ended up sharing the
- 5:38Speaker 1: exchange in a Facebook group called Tea Time. And she
- 5:40Speaker 1: showed Matt asking if she was still with her boyfriend,
- 5:44Speaker 1: And she responded, still marrying Tammy. That was a very
- 5:47Speaker 1: iconic response. These unfollows seem to come at very pivotal
- 5:50Speaker 1: moments because the second unfollow was only a few days
- 5:53Speaker 1: before their joint Hux party was set to kick off. Now,
- 5:56Speaker 1: I feel like I need to point out Hux party
- 5:58Speaker 1: is an actual term. It is a joint Bucks and
- 6:00Speaker 1: Hens party.
- 6:01Speaker 2: It just sounds so bizarre.
- 6:02Speaker 1: It's not our weird Adelaide pronunciation of Bucks.
- 6:05Speaker 6: No, no.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Well, followers first became aware of that unfollow when Tammy's
- 6:10Speaker 1: account was temporarily deactivated.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Within an hour, it was back.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Up, but she was following one less person, which of
- 6:16Speaker 1: course was her fiance, Matt. And Matt also wasn't following Tammy.
- 6:20Speaker 1: But weirdly, he was out and about with his sister, Emma,
- 6:23Speaker 1: at a marketplace.
- 6:24Speaker 2: And he shared this.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Bizarre Instagram story of a Dash.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Hound merch stall.
- 6:29Speaker 1: And I mean, not only is this random to share
- 6:32Speaker 1: at a market whilst you're having this fight with your fiance,
- 6:35Speaker 1: but it's even weirder when your ex-girlfriend, who her name
- 6:38Speaker 1: is still on your ass.
- 6:39Speaker 2: owns a.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Dash hound who you used to live with and you
- 6:42Speaker 1: regularly posted about. Your name is still on your ass.
- 6:45Speaker 1: You're of course referring to his tattoo of his ex, Jen.
- 6:48Speaker 1: He did get that removed and he had that really
- 6:50Speaker 1: great partnership with that numbing cream. It's just crazy that
- 6:53Speaker 1: this keeps happening.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:55Speaker 1: I saw a lot of people online talking about this
- 6:57Speaker 1: in different Facebook groups and most of the commentary was
- 7:00Speaker 1: around who is sad enough to keep checking on Tammy
- 7:02Speaker 1: Hembrough's following list.
- 7:03Speaker 2: They're just doing the Lord's work.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Yeah, people were saying, what's more pathetic, the fact that
- 7:06Speaker 1: Tammy keeps on following Matt or the fact that people
- 7:09Speaker 1: keep checking? I want to be in defense of the
- 7:11Speaker 1: people who keep checking because I fall into that category.
- 7:15Speaker 1: And I think it's, we all sense something is going
- 7:17Speaker 1: down because Tammy put out a few clues over the weekend.
- 7:21Speaker 1: So on Friday, she was visibly upset on TikTok and
- 7:25Speaker 1: she confessed that she felt flat and things in her
- 7:28Speaker 1: life have been piling up on her.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Here's part of what she said.
- 7:31Speaker 6: Now poor Tammy, she was on the verge of tears
- 7:34Speaker 6: in this video, and she went on to explain that
- 7:36Speaker 6: her cat Bruno had been rushed in for emergency surgery because.
- 7:52Speaker 2: He'd eaten something that was obstructing his bowel.
- 7:55Speaker 1: She thinks maybe it was one of the kids' toys
- 7:57Speaker 1: and they needed to flush it out of his system.
- 7:59Speaker 1: And of course, this would be enough to upset anyone.
- 8:02Speaker 1: But I feel like there was more to the story.
- 8:04Speaker 1: I don't think that she was just upset about this
- 8:06Speaker 1: isolated incident. It sounded like there was a lot more
- 8:09Speaker 1: going on behind the scenes. And it was this line
- 8:11Speaker 1: that made me feel like things weren't quite right with
- 8:14Speaker 1: her and Matt.
- 8:16Speaker 6: One of those days where you like feel like you
- 8:19Speaker 6: need to cry, I guess. I'm going to try and
- 8:22Speaker 6: go to dinner or something tonight to just get out
- 8:25Speaker 6: of the house and dress up. I really can't cry
- 8:29Speaker 6: in this video. Now I'm doing my concealer. You know what?
- 8:34Speaker 6: It is okay to cry and to have days like
- 8:39Speaker 6: this and to just feel flat sometimes. Especially when you
- 8:44Speaker 6: have things going on.
- 8:46Speaker 1: To me, when someone talks about wanting to get all
- 8:49Speaker 1: dressed up and put makeup on and go out for
- 8:51Speaker 1: a night out with their friends, it sounds like they're
- 8:54Speaker 1: taking their mind off relationship troubles, not necessarily a sick
- 8:58Speaker 1: or injured animal. Yeah, I think Tammy is using her
- 9:00Speaker 1: sick cat as a bit of a diversion to put
- 9:02Speaker 1: a message out there that she's not happy. She's probably
- 9:04Speaker 1: hoping that Matt sees her upset. Yeah, and I think
- 9:07Speaker 1: what made it even more suspicious was the fact that,
- 9:09Speaker 1: as we mentioned, Matt was in Melbourne at the time
- 9:11Speaker 1: and he posted a photo out at the football with
- 9:14Speaker 1: his friends Interestingly, Tammy did not like this photo. Yeah,
- 9:17Speaker 1: and things started getting even more suspicious over the weekend
- 9:20Speaker 1: because Tammy posted a video dancing with her kids, which
- 9:23Speaker 1: she generally does do, but she had the caption over
- 9:26Speaker 1: the top saying, me, no matter what kind of day
- 9:28Speaker 1: I'm having. She also had the caption underneath which said,
- 9:32Speaker 1: bad mood, dance party, duh. The next day she posted
- 9:35Speaker 1: another TikTok without Matt and she was doing a fit
- 9:38Speaker 1: check with her kids and she mimed to the song
- 9:41Speaker 1: Somba with the lyrics, I don't want to get undressed
- 9:43Speaker 1: for a new person all over again. I don't want
- 9:45Speaker 1: to kiss someone else's neck. And this caused followers to
- 9:49Speaker 1: immediately start inundating her with questions about why did you
- 9:53Speaker 1: unfollow Matt?
- 9:54Speaker 2: Where is Matt?
- 9:55Speaker 1: And she started to delete the comments and she also
- 9:57Speaker 1: blocked a few of the people asking. But she normally
- 10:00Speaker 1: clap back, especially when it's about Matt. Yeah. Well, after
- 10:03Speaker 1: all of that, Tammy ended up refollowing Matt and he
- 10:05Speaker 1: tried to smooth things over by commenting love heart emojis
- 10:08Speaker 1: under her recent photo.
- 10:09Speaker 2: I'm waiting for their next TikTok, which is them.
- 10:12Speaker 5: And it's like us. being so happy in our life
- 10:14Speaker 5: and we can't believe that people are commenting about us.
- 10:16Speaker 1: It's like, stop being obsessed with me. I hope Matt
- 10:19Speaker 1: and Anna end up talking about this on their podcast
- 10:21Speaker 1: because at the moment their producers seem to pick a
- 10:25Speaker 1: relationship topic that they then sort of springboard ideas off,
- 10:29Speaker 1: except Matt never seems to provide any juicy details about
- 10:32Speaker 1: his relationship. He's always like, no, nothing going on, but
- 10:34Speaker 1: I'm sure Nova will push for it. Yeah. One of
- 10:36Speaker 1: the weeks it was like about sleeping in different beds
- 10:38Speaker 1: to your partner and he tried to create this hook
- 10:42Speaker 1: that he and Tammy sleep in a different bed, but
- 10:43Speaker 1: it was just because he was away in Melbourne.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Of course you are.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Yeah, so I think that they should tackle why do
- 10:48Speaker 1: you unfollow your partner all the time on social media?
- 10:50Speaker 5: What does that mean? Well, have you guys ever unfollowed
- 10:52Speaker 5: your partner?
- 10:53Speaker 4: Never.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Never.
- 10:54Speaker 5: I mean, we've unfollowed each other before after fights.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Oh, definitely.
- 10:57Speaker 2: I keep getting these anniversaries.
- 10:58Speaker 1: It's like your one-year anniversary with Kate Torber and I'm like, oh,
- 11:01Speaker 1: we've been friends for like.
- 11:01Speaker 2: 14 years on it.
- 11:02Speaker 1: No, Sophie, I don't unfollow you. You unfollow me and
- 11:05Speaker 1: you've blocked us before.
- 11:07Speaker 2: And the psychology of.
- 11:08Speaker 1: The unfollow is that you want to show the person
- 11:10Speaker 1: how furious you are with them and that you're cutting
- 11:12Speaker 1: them off from your life. The worst bit was when you,
- 11:15Speaker 1: I think you blocked Amy and I, and then you
- 11:17Speaker 1: got removed from all of our group chats.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Oh, it was so annoying. And the admin to have
- 11:21Speaker 2: to add you back in was just so annoying.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Well, Liz Unfollow has definitely ignited the rumor mill. In
- 11:26Speaker 1: a popular Facebook group, one girl claimed that she recently
- 11:30Speaker 1: overheard Matt in Melbourne talking shit about Tammy at the gym.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Again, this is just speculation.
- 11:36Speaker 1: She wrote in the group, laughing my ass off. I
- 11:38Speaker 1: heard him talking crap about her on the phone. He
- 11:41Speaker 1: trains at my gym. Now, this comment was backed up
- 11:43Speaker 1: by another user asking if it was a gym in
- 11:46Speaker 1: Melbourne South, as one of her friends said he'd also
- 11:49Speaker 1: overheard the same phone conversation. But this girl didn't believe
- 11:53Speaker 1: him until now. She wrote, he apparently was an absolute grub,
- 11:56Speaker 1: the way he speaks about women. Another user also wrote,
- 11:59Speaker 1: let me guess, he was speaking to the boys from
- 12:01Speaker 1: Melbourne over the phone. He never learns. He did this
- 12:04Speaker 1: on a rooftop bar in Melbourne talking shit about Keira Maguire,
- 12:08Speaker 1: who was his former girlfriend, and a news reporter overheard
- 12:11Speaker 1: and did an article on it. He was also flicking
- 12:13Speaker 1: through OnlyFans pointing out who he'd do.
- 12:17Speaker 2: That is so gross if that is true. All I
- 12:18Speaker 2: can say is thank God there is a prenup in place.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Today I am joined by Paul Versace, who you might
- 12:25Speaker 1: know as Style by Bloom. Four months now, our DMs
- 12:29Speaker 1: have been full of one question, and it is, what
- 12:31Speaker 1: is going on between Olivia Rogers and her stylist, Paul Versace,
- 12:36Speaker 1: otherwise known as Styled by Bloom? Because They were once inseparable. Yeah,
- 12:41Speaker 1: Paul was Olivia's go-to stylist for so many events, whether
- 12:44Speaker 1: they were big or small.
- 12:45Speaker 2: She always tagged him in everything and really made a
- 12:48Speaker 2: name for him.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Oh, I think that's a bit unfair. I think he
- 12:51Speaker 1: made a name for himself because some of the outfits
- 12:53Speaker 1: he would pick for her were incredible. Yeah, I'm not
- 12:55Speaker 1: saying it wasn't off the back of great work, but
- 12:57Speaker 1: everyone knew him and her as a team together. And
- 13:01Speaker 1: then he started working with a bunch of other influencers too.
- 13:04Speaker 2: He wasn't just her stylist.
- 13:05Speaker 5: They were also best friends.
- 13:07Speaker 1: He appeared in her podcast a number of times. He
- 13:09Speaker 1: shared his coming out story and Olivia made it very
- 13:12Speaker 1: clear during the podcast that he had been her rock
- 13:15Speaker 1: during her separation with her husband, Justin McCann. And it
- 13:18Speaker 1: also sounded like he was a pretty good wingman to
- 13:21Speaker 1: Olivia because He set her up a few years ago
- 13:24Speaker 1: with her then boyfriend, Morgan Waterhouse. I mean, that didn't
- 13:27Speaker 1: end so well. Yes, maybe he's not the best wingman. Well, no,
- 13:30Speaker 1: but he also wingman her with her current boyfriend, Hugo,
- 13:33Speaker 1: because Paul spotted Hugo on a night out and he
- 13:36Speaker 1: worked his magic. He knew that the two would fall
- 13:39Speaker 1: in love and he dragged Olivia onto the dance floor
- 13:41Speaker 1: to meet him.
- 13:42Speaker 2: The rest is history. They're still together.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Yeah, and that's why everyone's shocked that things have gone
- 13:46Speaker 1: super quiet between the pair. So Olivia last appeared on
- 13:49Speaker 1: Paul's styling page in September 2024. when he dressed her
- 13:53Speaker 1: for Flemington's Race Courses Spring Gala event. And this is
- 13:56Speaker 1: particularly odd as since then, we've had Melbourne Fashion Week
- 13:59Speaker 1: and Glamour on the Grid, two events that the friends
- 14:02Speaker 1: would regularly work together on.
- 14:04Speaker 2: But Olivia is now being dressed by another stylist. This
- 14:07Speaker 2: topic has.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Been a little bit more difficult to pull together because
- 14:09Speaker 1: a couple of months ago, Olivia blocked Outspoken and now
- 14:13Speaker 1: accounts from seeing her page.
- 14:14Speaker 5: Well, it came after we spoke about her ex-husband, Justin McKeon,
- 14:17Speaker 5: and his issues in court.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Also, maybe she didn't want anyone looking into this friendship breakdown.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Who's going to have enough time to do that?
- 14:23Speaker 1: Us.
- 14:23Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Well, it seems like Paul's career is really going from
- 14:27Speaker 1: strength to strength because even though he's not working with Olivia.
- 14:30Speaker 2: He's been.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Styling the likes of Sammy Robinson, Isabel Clarke, Annalise Dallens,
- 14:35Speaker 1: Brooke Blurton and Alex Pendlebury.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Also, he was working with Shani Grimmett, which was a
- 14:39Speaker 2: big get in the influencer space.
- 14:40Speaker 5: Didn't he also go on holiday with Olivia?
- 14:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:43Speaker 1: As you said, this isn't just a bust up between
- 14:46Speaker 1: a stylist and a client. This was a really good friendship.
- 14:49Speaker 1: What has added even more fuel to the fire is
- 14:51Speaker 1: that last week, Paul did a big cull on his
- 14:53Speaker 1: personal Instagram account and he removed every single photo of
- 14:57Speaker 1: himself with Olivia. And may I point out, this is
- 15:00Speaker 1: whilst he's holidaying in Japan.
- 15:01Speaker 2: So you think he'd have better things to do than
- 15:04Speaker 2: cull his Instagram.
- 15:05Speaker 5: Who is he holidaying with though?
- 15:06Speaker 1: He's holidaying with someone who could potentially be his boyfriend.
- 15:09Speaker 1: I'm not 100% sure. I don't want to, they could
- 15:11Speaker 1: just be friends as well. I wondered if it was
- 15:13Speaker 1: a friend, because you know, if you're on holiday and
- 15:15Speaker 1: you're really slagging somebody off and you're like, right, I'm
- 15:17Speaker 1: going to delete all.
- 15:18Speaker 2: The photos of that.
- 15:19Speaker 1: That's a real fuck you, because that actually impacts on
- 15:22Speaker 1: his styling business.
- 15:23Speaker 2: That's his work.
- 15:24Speaker 1: You know, he was, she was often in the clothes.
- 15:26Speaker 2: That he dressed her in.
- 15:27Speaker 1: I wonder though, Could this have something to do with
- 15:29Speaker 1: Morgan Waterhouse? Because you said that they last appeared on
- 15:32Speaker 1: each other's feeds in September 2024. Just before Christmas, you've
- 15:36Speaker 1: got to remember Morgan Waterhouse put out that really bitchy
- 15:39Speaker 1: TikTok where he was alluding to Olivia cheating on him
- 15:42Speaker 1: with multiple people.
- 15:43Speaker 2: She referenced that she was a narcissist as well.
- 15:45Speaker 1: Yeah, and you've got to remember that Paul was friends
- 15:48Speaker 1: with Morgan Waterhouse. That's why he set the two up.
- 15:50Speaker 1: So maybe he is team Morgan. I think it's a
- 15:53Speaker 1: case of when it comes to a breakup, You try
- 15:56Speaker 1: and be friends with both parties originally, and it gets
- 15:59Speaker 1: to a point where that's no longer possible. And perhaps
- 16:01Speaker 1: he's picked Morgan over Olivia, which I don't know why
- 16:04Speaker 1: he would if she was so helpful to his career
- 16:07Speaker 1: and his best friend.
- 16:09Speaker 4: We're moving!
- 16:10Speaker 1: Move!
- 16:11Speaker 2: Stop that!
- 16:13Speaker 6: What?
- 16:13Speaker 2: You don't want to move house?
- 16:16Speaker 1: Influencers Steph Clare Smith and Georgie Stevenson have a lot
- 16:20Speaker 1: in common. They're both young multimillionaires who launched highly successful
- 16:24Speaker 1: wellness businesses off the back of their large social media followings.
- 16:28Speaker 1: They're also both pregnant with their second child and have
- 16:31Speaker 1: just sold their dream homes after living in them for
- 16:33Speaker 1: only a couple of years. But despite all the similarities,
- 16:37Speaker 1: they have chosen completely different content strategies when it comes
- 16:40Speaker 1: to sharing about the sales of their homes. One strategy
- 16:44Speaker 1: has attracted followers while the other is turning them away.
- 16:47Speaker 1: And the results may surprise you. Kate, can you tell
- 16:50Speaker 1: us more? Well, Georgie Stevenson has been completely transparent about
- 16:54Speaker 1: her move. So she told her followers in February that
- 16:56Speaker 1: she and her husband had put their dream home on
- 16:59Speaker 1: the market for either sale or rent because they wanted
- 17:01Speaker 1: to find a house that was more family friendly. Since then,
- 17:05Speaker 1: Georgie confirmed that they have found tenants to rent their
- 17:08Speaker 1: home and they had purchased a new house with more
- 17:10Speaker 1: land on the Gold Coast. Now, Georgie has kept the
- 17:13Speaker 1: content rolling, sharing videos, documenting the move, as well as
- 17:17Speaker 1: a three-year-old daughter's reaction to seeing their new home for
- 17:20Speaker 1: the first time.
- 17:21Speaker 5: Gosh, this house is so stunning.
- 17:23Speaker 2: It is insane.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I've been listening to a few podcasts with Georgie Stevenson
- 17:27Speaker 1: and she was talking about how if you ever see,
- 17:30Speaker 1: for example, someone's new house on social media and you
- 17:32Speaker 1: feel jealous of it, that should be, you should take
- 17:35Speaker 1: that as a positive, as a reflection of something to
- 17:37Speaker 1: aim for. And I was like, I am aiming for
- 17:39Speaker 1: a beautiful house like this. I'm going to channel my
- 17:41Speaker 1: jealousy into being.
- 17:42Speaker 5: You know, manifesting a nicer house.
- 17:44Speaker 2: I'm the opposite of that.
- 17:45Speaker 1: I'll just be sitting there being like absolutely spewing, spitting chips.
- 17:48Speaker 5: Why can't I live in a house like this?
- 17:50Speaker 1: I mean, she explained it. When you get jealous of something,
- 17:52Speaker 1: it kind of shows you what you want in life.
- 17:54Speaker 2: And it's true. It's true.
- 17:56Speaker 1: We all want a $ 6 million coastal home. Well, for
- 17:59Speaker 1: everyone who wants to check out the house, she has
- 18:01Speaker 1: created a home account on Instagram and named it the
- 18:04Speaker 1: Palm Hill House. And in the bio it says, modern
- 18:07Speaker 1: coastal family home overlooking the Gold Coast. And at the
- 18:09Speaker 1: time of recording it has over 7,000 followers. I'm surprised
- 18:12Speaker 1: it doesn't have more. Maybe because there's so many different
- 18:15Speaker 1: houses to follow, people can't keep up. I always find
- 18:17Speaker 1: it so strange when I see children, like, for example,
- 18:20Speaker 1: Georgie's daughter seeing the house for the first time and
- 18:23Speaker 1: the realisation that for them, oh, this is.
- 18:25Speaker 5: Just my home. Like they don't know any different.
- 18:28Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 18:29Speaker 1: I thought the same thing because it was like, oh,
- 18:30Speaker 1: here's your toy room and it's like bigger than most
- 18:32Speaker 1: people's houses. I was like, wow.
- 18:33Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Now, Georgie also shared a video of her and her
- 18:37Speaker 1: husband hugging out the front of their new home with
- 18:38Speaker 1: the heading, Buying Our Fifth House Together. She then outlined
- 18:42Speaker 1: a timeline of the five homes that she's purchased over
- 18:45Speaker 1: the years. And she was quick to add that while
- 18:47Speaker 1: both her and her husband's parents had encouraged them to
- 18:50Speaker 1: buy a house young, they weren't given any money for
- 18:53Speaker 1: it and bought it themselves. Now, for those interested, the
- 18:55Speaker 1: couple bought their first home in 2017, which was a
- 18:58Speaker 1: townhouse in Brisbane.
- 19:00Speaker 2: They now rented out to students.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Then in 2019, they bought a Hamptons-inspired house, which they
- 19:06Speaker 1: now rent to a family. In 2021, they bought an
- 19:08Speaker 1: old cottage in the Gold Coast hinterland that they renovated
- 19:11Speaker 1: and named the Beachmont Chalet, and they now rent it
- 19:13Speaker 1: out on Airbnb.
- 19:14Speaker 2: That house is absolutely stunning.
- 19:15Speaker 1: I needed some help from Georgie for a house name
- 19:18Speaker 1: because my house account is called Golden Heels Home, which
- 19:21Speaker 1: sounds completely lame and lackluster compared to these.
- 19:24Speaker 5: Look at Soph trying to push her home account the
- 19:26Speaker 5: whole time.
- 19:26Speaker 1: I've got three posts on there. There's like fuck all
- 19:29Speaker 1: on it. Well, it's because my kitchen is about to
- 19:31Speaker 1: be ready. So I need to tease it so people
- 19:32Speaker 1: can have a look.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Back to Georgie's property.
- 19:35Speaker 1: So she then purchased their dream home in 2022, which
- 19:38Speaker 1: was a six-story mansion overlooking the Gold Coast skyline that
- 19:41Speaker 1: they now rent out. Now this home, we spoke about
- 19:44Speaker 1: it in length a couple of months ago, but it
- 19:46Speaker 1: was up for sale for 9.9 million or 5.5 thousand a.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Week for rent.
- 19:50Speaker 5: They've got renters in there.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Their fifth home is a 6.5 million dollar luxury property
- 19:55Speaker 1: on an acreage with panoramic views. As you said, Amy,
- 19:58Speaker 1: it's absolutely stunning. What's incredible about Georgie Stevenson and her
- 20:02Speaker 1: success is the fact that It's not like she's sold
- 20:05Speaker 1: any of these properties. Like she and her husband retain
- 20:07Speaker 1: these properties.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Think of the equity.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Now, it's the first time I've seen a female influencer
- 20:12Speaker 1: be so upfront about their assets. And what is clear
- 20:16Speaker 1: is this is a strategic move by Georgie because after
- 20:19Speaker 1: outlining her property portfolio to her Instagram followers, she added,
- 20:23Speaker 1: also very proud of us for doing the money mindset
- 20:26Speaker 1: work for our subconscious to feel safe enough to take
- 20:28Speaker 1: risks and constantly leverage what we have to take our
- 20:31Speaker 1: next step. She then invited her followers to comment freebie
- 20:35Speaker 1: to receive a free resource about money mindset to read.
- 20:39Speaker 1: I thought that this approach might piss some people off
- 20:41Speaker 1: just because as we touched on due to jealousy and
- 20:44Speaker 1: also because people seem to feel really uncomfortable about women
- 20:47Speaker 1: ever talking about their achievements very unfairly. But it actually
- 20:51Speaker 1: appears to have done the complete opposite because in the
- 20:53Speaker 1: past 30 days, Georgie has gained 2.9 thousand followers. And
- 20:56Speaker 1: I know there has been some commentary that it's tone
- 20:59Speaker 1: deaf of Georgie to share about her five properties in
- 21:01Speaker 1: the current economic climate, but it's consistent with her personal brand.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Georgie's personal and business brand is about wellness, goal setting
- 21:09Speaker 1: and manifesting to get your dream life. And you get
- 21:12Speaker 1: that from her on social media and it feels authentic.
- 21:14Speaker 1: That's the thing, she's so unashamedly her. I think what's
- 21:17Speaker 1: more difficult is when people try to show you a
- 21:20Speaker 1: little bit of their wealth and then a little bit
- 21:21Speaker 1: of how they're relatable.
- 21:22Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 21:23Speaker 1: And that's where we moved to Steph Clare Smith. So
- 21:26Speaker 1: in November last year, Super Sleuth spotted that her mansion
- 21:29Speaker 1: was set to be listed for sale on White Fox
- 21:31Speaker 1: Real Estate. That name will sound familiar because a couple
- 21:34Speaker 1: of months ago, White Fox was embroiled in a bit
- 21:37Speaker 1: of a scandal because they had this marketing campaign where
- 21:40Speaker 1: they boasted about making houses.
- 21:42Speaker 2: More expensive since 2017.
- 21:44Speaker 1: And then she's on the money podcast of Victoria Divine
- 21:47Speaker 1: got involved because she stuck up for the CEO, Marty.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Anyway, it was a big ordeal.
- 21:52Speaker 1: If you are interested, you can go back and have
- 21:53Speaker 1: a listen to that episode. But White Fox is known
- 21:56Speaker 1: for dealing with a lot of influencers and celebrities' properties.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Yeah, well, they sell mansions.
- 22:01Speaker 1: And realtor Lana Samuel shared a photo outside of Steph's
- 22:04Speaker 1: property with the caption, the deal, the palms coming soon.
- 22:08Speaker 1: And they also shared a reel showing off the amazing property. Now,
- 22:11Speaker 1: the news came off the back of Steph's husband, Josh Mueller,
- 22:14Speaker 1: publicly announcing to the media that he was selling his
- 22:17Speaker 1: family's Murray.
- 22:18Speaker 2: River property for $ 8 million. That's where they got married,
- 22:21Speaker 2: isn't it?
- 22:22Speaker 1: Yeah, they also got engaged there. So it meant a
- 22:24Speaker 1: lot to the family. And we covered the story back
- 22:26Speaker 1: in November as it caused a lot of intrigue, particularly
- 22:29Speaker 1: because the couple only purchased their $ 7 million mansion back
- 22:32Speaker 1: in late 2021. Now, last week, Steph opened up about
- 22:36Speaker 1: the sale for the first time on her podcast.
- 22:38Speaker 2: This is what she said.
- 22:40Speaker 4: Okay, I have an exciting life update, which I've kind
- 22:44Speaker 4: of semi-spoken about little bits here and there, but haven't
- 22:47Speaker 4: really gone into depth about because a lot of people
- 22:50Speaker 4: have kind of just already known about it out of
- 22:52Speaker 4: my own control.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Which is it is what it is.
- 22:56Speaker 4: I've accepted it and I'm moving on and now I'm
- 22:58Speaker 4: going to talk about it and it's coming from me
- 23:00Speaker 4: so you can know it is true.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Now, it's clear Steph was unhappy about the speculation about
- 23:06Speaker 1: her house sale saying this.
- 23:09Speaker 4: So basically late last year we sold our place that
- 23:13Speaker 4: we're in and I just, all I want to answer, right,
- 23:16Speaker 4: because every time I do a question box people are like,
- 23:18Speaker 4: why did you sell your house? I didn't even talk
- 23:21Speaker 4: about the fact that we were selling our house. So again,
- 23:22Speaker 4: that's where it comes to these facts aren't always within
- 23:25Speaker 4: our control of what people talk about. online about us
- 23:28Speaker 4: in the media, which is shit, but it is.
- 23:31Speaker 1: What it is.
- 23:31Speaker 3: So people spoke about your house moving and why you
- 23:35Speaker 3: were moving.
- 23:36Speaker 1: Yes.
- 23:36Speaker 3: I have to say, and when they talk about it
- 23:39Speaker 3: in a way that it's like fact and it's completely
- 23:42Speaker 3: not why.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Oh, there's been different things.
- 23:45Speaker 4: Yes, 100%.
- 23:45Speaker 2: I know what you're talking about.
- 23:47Speaker 3: But it's funny because we get caught up in listening
- 23:49Speaker 3: to these gossip things and being like.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Oh, yes, wow, that must be why.
- 23:52Speaker 3: Like, that's why.
- 23:53Speaker 2: And it's like, nope.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Look, reading between the lines, I think Steph and Laura
- 23:57Speaker 1: were having a little bit of a dig at our
- 23:59Speaker 1: podcast because we spoke about Steph and her husband selling
- 24:03Speaker 1: their house a few months ago. Yeah, and they had
- 24:05Speaker 1: just done this really big push to promote the family property.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Josh was giving quotes to different publications at AFR and realestate.com.
- 24:13Speaker 1: And then when we noticed that their Melbourne home was
- 24:15Speaker 1: for sale and it was coming soon, we assumed that
- 24:17Speaker 1: they would do the same push.
- 24:20Speaker 2: But they went quiet.
- 24:21Speaker 1: So we were saying, oh, maybe they're looking to consolidate
- 24:24Speaker 1: and sell a whole bunch of their properties and buy
- 24:26Speaker 1: a much bigger house to move into. I mean, Steph
- 24:28Speaker 1: had just been on the AFR young rich list as well.
- 24:31Speaker 1: So obviously things were going well for her. Now, Steph
- 24:34Speaker 1: went on to say on her podcast that she wasn't
- 24:36Speaker 1: going to go into all of the reasons why she's
- 24:39Speaker 1: selling her home. But one of the reasons was because
- 24:41Speaker 1: she wanted to be closer to her family and friends.
- 24:43Speaker 1: So currently the couple live over an hour away from
- 24:46Speaker 1: her brother and their close friends. And Steph explained that
- 24:49Speaker 1: her parents actually no longer live in Melbourne. So when
- 24:51Speaker 1: they come to visit her and her brother, it's really
- 24:54Speaker 1: hard for them to see both of.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Them with this big distance between them.
- 24:58Speaker 1: She also said that they have now found a home
- 25:00Speaker 1: that they want to settle down in for the long
- 25:01Speaker 1: term and confirm that they're moving a month before her
- 25:04Speaker 1: due date. Look, I listened to this whole podcast and
- 25:06Speaker 1: the one thing that I took away from that is
- 25:08Speaker 1: that she said that they weren't going to go into
- 25:10Speaker 1: all of the reasons. This is a very wholesome reason
- 25:12Speaker 1: as to why they are moving and it sounds to
- 25:14Speaker 1: be a very valid reason.
- 25:15Speaker 2: But I also think it's a bit.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Naive to think that people aren't going to be interested
- 25:19Speaker 1: in the fact that you've got two properties up for
- 25:21Speaker 1: sale at the same time and people aren't going to
- 25:23Speaker 1: make their own conclusions.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Yeah, and Steph's reluctancy to.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Share about her move appears to be a part of
- 25:27Speaker 1: a broader strategy to keep elements of her private life offline.
- 25:30Speaker 1: So Almost a year ago, Steph made the decision to
- 25:33Speaker 1: hide her three-year-old son Harvey's face in her social media.
- 25:35Speaker 2: That was not a year ago.
- 25:37Speaker 3: It was.
- 25:37Speaker 2: Which we've barely spoken about at all.
- 25:39Speaker 1: I don't think any listeners will be aware of that,
- 25:41Speaker 1: but she does put emojis over his face. Yeah, and
- 25:44Speaker 1: she still regularly posts content about Harvey and talks about
- 25:47Speaker 1: him on her podcast, but she just censors his face.
- 25:50Speaker 1: So the privacy comes down to just what his face
- 25:52Speaker 1: looks like rather than keeping private details about him off
- 25:55Speaker 1: the internet. But I also think that it's not just
- 25:57Speaker 1: part of strategy of having more of a private life
- 26:00Speaker 1: because I don't think that they have a private life.
- 26:02Speaker 1: I think it's a strategy to be relatable because it's
- 26:05Speaker 1: not very relatable when you have two multi-million dollar properties.
- 26:09Speaker 1: For Georgie Stevenson, she doesn't care about being relatable because
- 26:11Speaker 1: she's trying to push a business that's about people succeeding
- 26:14Speaker 1: and having successful businesses. But for Steph, her brand is
- 26:18Speaker 1: centered somewhat or.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Trying to be centered on relatability.
- 26:21Speaker 1: But that being said, I have heard Steph and Laura
- 26:23Speaker 1: talk on many business podcasts about their strategy behind Kik.
- 26:27Speaker 1: So sometimes they do wear the hat of being these
- 26:29Speaker 1: really successful business owners, but then other times they seem
- 26:32Speaker 1: like they don't want to address how much money Kik's made.
- 26:35Speaker 1: I really do think Steph needs to sit down with
- 26:37Speaker 1: a marketing professional and work out what her personal brand
- 26:40Speaker 1: is and what her business brand is and ensure they
- 26:42Speaker 1: align because I think there are odds with each other
- 26:44Speaker 1: because at the moment she really is mining her life
- 26:48Speaker 1: for podcast content. And she has been sharing some really
- 26:50Speaker 1: personal details, but then she gets shocked when people feel
- 26:53Speaker 1: like they deserve to know about her big life changes
- 26:56Speaker 1: and moving. I can see where Steph's coming from in
- 26:58Speaker 1: terms of her reluctancy to share about her recent move,
- 27:01Speaker 1: because there are a lot of concerns around her safety.
- 27:03Speaker 1: She's got a young family. She doesn't really want to
- 27:05Speaker 1: be sharing her address and telling people, hey, we're moving
- 27:08Speaker 1: these days. Yeah.
- 27:09Speaker 2: And I totally get that.
- 27:10Speaker 1: And Georgie Stevenson has come out and said that being
- 27:12Speaker 1: so open about her move has actually led people to
- 27:15Speaker 1: locating her home on realestate.com and doing drive-bys. But the
- 27:19Speaker 1: unfortunate reality is that both Steph and Georgie's homes were
- 27:22Speaker 1: readily available for anyone who wanted to find them on
- 27:24Speaker 1: the internet when they first purchased them years.
- 27:27Speaker 2: Ago, thanks to realestate.com. But could you say that for anyone?
- 27:30Speaker 1: Anytime anyone shares in front of their sold sign, it
- 27:32Speaker 1: doesn't take people long to locate their house.
- 27:35Speaker 2: No, it's not just from the sales sign.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Realestate.com have actually published articles about the homes that they've
- 27:40Speaker 1: moved into, hadn't they put pictures in them? Look, at
- 27:42Speaker 1: the end of the day, content strategies aside and followers
- 27:45Speaker 1: aside I think it's up to Steph and Josh what
- 27:48Speaker 1: they feel most comfortable with for them I think they
- 27:50Speaker 1: probably felt comfortable to share about the move once they
- 27:53Speaker 1: were out of the house but that's the thing she's
- 27:55Speaker 1: actually spoken about it and they're still in the house
- 27:57Speaker 1: so that's what I don't didn't get it's like why
- 27:59Speaker 1: not wait until you're actually in it and then share
- 28:01Speaker 1: I mean I think that they're both polar opposite ways
- 28:04Speaker 1: to do so and it comes down to the individual
- 28:06Speaker 1: just because one is better for content and one isn't
- 28:08Speaker 1: I don't think it means that one way is right
- 28:10Speaker 1: and one way is wrong.
- 28:12Speaker 7: Fast forward you guys to Weeks later, I get this
- 28:17Speaker 7: letter and I don't know what's happening.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Megan Markle has stunned the internet by sending a handwritten
- 28:26Speaker 1: letter to a podcaster who called her inauthentic following the
- 28:30Speaker 1: release of.
- 28:31Speaker 2: A Netflix promo.
- 28:32Speaker 1: This letter was so beautifully presented. So it was written
- 28:35Speaker 1: in Megan's perfect calligraphy style and it was sent to
- 28:38Speaker 1: podcaster Amanda Hurt. So she hosts the Not Skinny But
- 28:42Speaker 1: Not Fat podcast. And in January, Amanda shared her unfiltered
- 28:47Speaker 1: opinion of Megan's Netflix trailer to TikTok saying this.
- 28:52Speaker 7: You guys, I'm genuinely concerned for Megan. I am not
- 28:56Speaker 7: a Megan hater at all. I, you know, it feels
- 29:00Speaker 7: like a bleak, lively situation, kind of when people just
- 29:03Speaker 7: piled on this woman. I don't know that I'm like her,
- 29:07Speaker 7: you know, it's just like, I'm not sure yet. I
- 29:09Speaker 7: haven't made, formed an opinion. I don't hate her like
- 29:12Speaker 7: a lot of the world does. I just, I don't know.
- 29:15Speaker 7: I understand that people, some people are like, she's inauthentic.
- 29:17Speaker 2: I get it.
- 29:18Speaker 7: And what I'm scared, what I'm so scared for her
- 29:21Speaker 7: is that this Netflix show will make those claims stronger
- 29:26Speaker 7: from the trailer. It looks like it might be like
- 29:29Speaker 7: kind of trying to be a Martha Stewart situation that
- 29:34Speaker 7: feels a little forced in the trailer, at least doesn't
- 29:37Speaker 7: seem like she's gonna come across relatable which I feel
- 29:39Speaker 7: like she'll want to try to be and I'm just
- 29:41Speaker 7: scared for her Megan why'd you have to go do
- 29:42Speaker 7: that consult with me like I would have told you
- 29:46Speaker 7: I would have told.
- 29:48Speaker 1: You look it definitely wasn't the worst response video to
- 29:52Speaker 1: a promo that I've seen if anything I think that
- 29:54Speaker 1: she was saying she's a bit of a fan of
- 29:56Speaker 1: Megan and She likes her and that's why she's so
- 29:59Speaker 1: worried for what's going to come after seeing the promo.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Which she seemed to be very much on the fence
- 30:04Speaker 2: about Megan.
- 30:05Speaker 1: And so late last week, Amanda revealed on TikTok that
- 30:07Speaker 1: she received this letter from Megan and it was written
- 30:11Speaker 1: on Megan's official letterhead, which featured her own special monogram
- 30:15Speaker 1: and crown. So the letter read, Dear Amanda, I heard
- 30:18Speaker 1: you were feeling scared.
- 30:19Speaker 5: Don't be.
- 30:20Speaker 1: This is the fun part. Let's enjoy it. And she
- 30:22Speaker 1: signed off with, as ever, Meghan. I'm shocked that she
- 30:26Speaker 1: has her own official letterhead that features a crown, because
- 30:28Speaker 1: if anything, they've wanted to try and distance themselves from
- 30:31Speaker 1: the royal family, understand that she's still a duchess. But
- 30:33Speaker 1: that shocked me. Well, a few people were saying that, like, oh,
- 30:36Speaker 1: if you don't want to be part of the royal
- 30:37Speaker 1: family anymore, why would you still have that? think why
- 30:40Speaker 1: the hell would you not she's married to prince harry
- 30:42Speaker 1: she's the duchess of sussex i hope that everything is
- 30:44Speaker 1: being copyrighted and is above board because she seems to
- 30:46Speaker 1: have an issue with every single logo she puts out
- 30:48Speaker 1: next minute i'm sure daily mail will be accusing her
- 30:50Speaker 1: of copying the mcdonald's m or something the funniest thing
- 30:53Speaker 1: was amanda said that she actually smelt the letter she
- 30:56Speaker 1: was like i had to give it a sniff just
- 30:58Speaker 1: to see if it had that royal smell did it
- 31:00Speaker 1: smell well she didn't really say what it smelled like.
- 31:03Speaker 2: But would you have smelt a letter from megan.
- 31:05Speaker 1: Yes yes i would have Because I get the vibe
- 31:08Speaker 1: that with all of the teas that she makes and
- 31:11Speaker 1: the flower arranging, that it would have some sort of
- 31:14Speaker 1: floral spring scent to it. I just think it was
- 31:16Speaker 1: such a great move by Megan because although Amanda wasn't
- 31:20Speaker 1: rude about her, like a lot of people have been
- 31:22Speaker 1: on TikTok, it's just a really classy response to some criticism.
- 31:26Speaker 1: It's clever because she's not giving her attention to the trolls,
- 31:30Speaker 1: but she's still saying, hey, everyone, I'm aware of the feedback.
- 31:34Speaker 2: I can see it all.
- 31:35Speaker 1: Remember that I am a real person at the end
- 31:37Speaker 1: of the day. Yeah, and also, I mean, Amanda's podcast
- 31:40Speaker 1: is a really big US podcast and a lot of
- 31:42Speaker 1: her fans have been saying, well, maybe Megan wants to
- 31:45Speaker 1: appear on your podcast. Well, it also seems like Megan
- 31:48Speaker 1: has transformed Amanda into a bit of a fangirl now. Oh, yeah.
- 31:52Speaker 5: Amanda said she's a fan for life.
- 31:53Speaker 1: She said she's framed this letter. A lot of the
- 31:55Speaker 1: listeners of Amanda's podcast also said, look, to be honest,
- 31:59Speaker 1: I didn't really like Megan after seeing the TV show,
- 32:01Speaker 1: but after seeing her send you this letter and how
- 32:04Speaker 1: classy it was, We are now Team Megan. Well, I
- 32:07Speaker 1: think that is all we have time for today. Thank
- 32:08Speaker 1: you so much for joining us for another episode. If
