Latest / Twin Cities Territory / Twins blow multiple chances to sweep Tigers; Joe Ryan back soon?
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Well, that one hurts. Tyler and I had the brooms out,
- 0:05Speaker 1: ready to go. The Twins were on the verge of
- 0:07Speaker 1: a sweep Wednesday night against the Tigers at Target Field.
- 0:10Speaker 1: And then a bunch of missed opportunities, and it all
- 0:13Speaker 1: went haywire in the 12th. An 11-6 loss to the Tigers.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Twins still take two out of three, but a really
- 0:20Speaker 1: tough one with all the chaos in the potato sack
- 0:25Speaker 1: race that is the third American wildcard spot right now.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Third American League wildcard spot, excuse me. Every other team
- 0:32Speaker 1: in the race lost except Toronto, which didn't lose because
- 0:35Speaker 1: they were playing Cleveland and somebody had to lose that game.
- 0:38Speaker 1: But the Twins can't capitalize. They stay three and a
- 0:41Speaker 1: half back still of Cleveland there in that and six
- 0:45Speaker 1: and a half back of Chicago in the AL Central,
- 0:47Speaker 1: their next opponent coming up this weekend. It is Thursday
- 0:51Speaker 1: on Twin Cities territory. A lot to talk about from
- 0:55Speaker 1: that game last night. So we'll get right into it.
- 0:57Speaker 1: They get to the eighth inning down five to two,
- 0:59Speaker 1: and then they finally get a rally going. Brooks Lee
- 1:02Speaker 1: starts off with a single to center. Cody Clemons got
- 1:05Speaker 1: smacked by a pitch right on his arm guard on
- 1:08Speaker 1: the left arm there. Then Ryan Jeffers struck out. Josh
- 1:12Speaker 1: Bell hits a single to left. The bases are loaded,
- 1:14Speaker 1: and that's when things got very interesting with a lot
- 1:16Speaker 1: of substitutions. The Twins ultimately ended up tying the game
- 1:20Speaker 1: in the eighth inning, but Dan just time after time
- 1:23Speaker 1: in this game They would have opportunities, and it just
- 1:26Speaker 1: wouldn't come through for them.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Yeah, not only was it a painful loss, it got
- 1:33Speaker 2: downright nasty in the 12th, the way that it fell apart.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Because you're in a close game the whole way. You
- 1:41Speaker 2: have missed opportunities by that point in the 8th, the 10th,
- 1:45Speaker 2: and the 11th. And the golden opportunities to win, where
- 1:49Speaker 2: just one run does it every time, you don't come through.
- 1:53Speaker 2: And then you give up the homer, but you understand that.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Tommy Nance pitched two innings on Monday, and he was
- 2:00Speaker 2: the last guy they had, and he'd already been in
- 2:02Speaker 2: the mound the inning before. Gives up the homer, and
- 2:04Speaker 2: then that inning kind of falls apart. He hits a
- 2:07Speaker 2: batter in the head and loads the bases. Gets ahead
- 2:10Speaker 2: of Javi Baez, who somehow hits a slider, and Javi
- 2:13Speaker 2: Baez throwing sliders.
- 2:14Speaker 3: To him has been a cornerstone of Twins wins since
- 2:17Speaker 3: he signed with the Tigers a couple years ago.
- 2:19Speaker 2: But he got enough of it to get in the
- 2:21Speaker 2: right field. And Royce Lewis like going all out. If
- 2:24Speaker 2: Royce Lewis doesn't touch it, it drops in one run
- 2:26Speaker 2: scores there. Instead, Royce Lewis gets there and, and man,
- 2:30Speaker 2: he went far to get to it and it kicks
- 2:33Speaker 2: off the glove and loads, unloads the bases. And all
- 2:36Speaker 2: of a sudden, you know, there's just no gas in
- 2:38Speaker 2: the tank. It's clear that it's over at that point. And,
- 2:42Speaker 2: and it, it ends up looking pretty bad. That was a,
- 2:46Speaker 2: Painful loss four for 21 with runners in scoring position.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Like we said, chances in the eighth, chances in the tenth,
- 2:53Speaker 2: where basically Detroit didn't score in its half of the
- 2:56Speaker 2: tenth and you came up and had a runner in
- 2:58Speaker 2: second and had to get him over and didn't even
- 3:00Speaker 2: get him over. And then in the eleventh, the five-man
- 3:04Speaker 2: infield used by Detroit, you really felt good about your
- 3:09Speaker 2: chances there. And Cody Clemens, I have to think that
- 3:13Speaker 2: he felt the after effects of getting hit directly on
- 3:17Speaker 2: the elbow because you you mentioned it the ball went
- 3:20Speaker 2: straight down afterwards he said his arm just went numb
- 3:24Speaker 2: and it started hurting um so i'm guessing that that
- 3:28Speaker 2: played a role because he got some pitches you would
- 3:31Speaker 2: think he could handle in there and and just kept
- 3:33Speaker 2: fouling it off fouling it off you know he got
- 3:36Speaker 2: that middle middle fastball he was looking for and couldn't
- 3:38Speaker 2: do it and then ryan jeffers grounds out and I
- 3:41Speaker 2: think that was the killer for them, was just not
- 3:44Speaker 2: getting through in that spot because really all it takes
- 3:47Speaker 2: at that point is a little bit of contact, a blooper,
- 3:50Speaker 2: a deep fly ball, anything, and the game is over,
- 3:53Speaker 2: and they walk off happy.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Instead, they walk off going, man, that's a big missed opportunity.
- 3:58Speaker 3: Everybody except, like you said, Toronto lost in front of them.
- 4:02Speaker 3: They could be two and a half out in the
- 4:03Speaker 3: wild card.
- 4:04Speaker 2: They could be half a game behind some of those
- 4:06Speaker 2: teams or a game behind a.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Bunch of those teams. It's Toronto... baltimore.
- 4:11Speaker 2: And who's the third um texas toronto baltimore texas right
- 4:17Speaker 2: yeah you could be right there game them instead you're
- 4:19Speaker 2: two back of all them so definitely a painful.
- 4:22Speaker 1: One yeah let's let's go through it because i just
- 4:26Speaker 1: it was so indicative i think of of why this
- 4:29Speaker 1: team is where they is where they geez that's not
- 4:32Speaker 1: my day today guys but you know i'll bounce back
- 4:35Speaker 1: just roll with it i'm a late inning guy It's
- 4:38Speaker 1: indicative of why they are where they are because in
- 4:42Speaker 1: that eighth inning, start there, Tyler, they load the bases
- 4:46Speaker 1: after Josh Bell's single, and then in the span of
- 4:48Speaker 1: a few minutes, a flurry of substitutions. Ben Ross, who
- 4:51Speaker 1: has just called up from AAA, comes in to run
- 4:53Speaker 1: for Bell. Bell, one of the slower twins on the team.
- 4:56Speaker 1: It makes sense.
- 4:57Speaker 3: You're down three.
- 4:58Speaker 1: You need that run to score. It's the eighth inning.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Time's running out. Trevor Larnik is due up against the lefty.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Don't want that, so the twins announce Gabby Gonzalez. Tigers,
- 5:07Speaker 1: in turn, go to Kenley Jansen. So Gonzalez gets called back.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Victor Caratini goes out to hit for him. Caratini walks.
- 5:14Speaker 1: A run comes in. It's now 5-3. Twins pinch run
- 5:17Speaker 1: Kreidler for Caratini, which, again, makes sense. He loved that
- 5:20Speaker 1: run to score. It's the go-ahead run. And then up
- 5:23Speaker 1: comes Royce Lewis, who smokes a single that probably should
- 5:27Speaker 1: have been an inning-ending double play, or at least got
- 5:30Speaker 1: knocked down and kept in the end. Maybe that's too harsh,
- 5:33Speaker 1: but should have at least been knocked down by Peck.
- 5:34Speaker 1: The baseball guns were in our favor.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Right, right.
- 5:36Speaker 1: But it gets through, and two runs score to tie
- 5:39Speaker 1: the game. Curious how you feel. The substitutions would leave
- 5:46Speaker 1: the Twins in a tough spot later on because you've
- 5:49Speaker 1: got Ben Ross making huge plate appearances when he just
- 5:52Speaker 1: doesn't have the experience. You've got Ryan Kreidler making big
- 5:55Speaker 1: plate appearances when he's been struggling a lot. Culpepper and
- 5:58Speaker 1: Jenkins also just up from AAA. Culpepper's had a great
- 6:02Speaker 1: start but struggled last night. Jenkins struggled last night and
- 6:04Speaker 1: is still trying to find himself. Shelton clearly going for
- 6:07Speaker 1: the win. I don't have a problem with that, but
- 6:09Speaker 1: it just kind of showed the struggles with the Twins' depth,
- 6:12Speaker 1: I think, later in that game.
- 6:13Speaker 4: Yeah, and like we were kind of talking, Jackson is
- 6:17Speaker 4: lingering back there. He's the third catcher. Caratini had been used,
- 6:22Speaker 4: but would his at-bat been of more quality than the
- 6:25Speaker 4: young guys who just got there?
- 6:27Speaker 5: Probably.
- 6:28Speaker 4: He also doesn't see the field very often, so considering that,
- 6:32Speaker 4: it's probably all about the same, but But yeah, it
- 6:34Speaker 4: was a lot of aggressive moves, which everyone wants to see.
- 6:37Speaker 5: That's never a problem.
- 6:39Speaker 4: I think as a fan, as a guy, people like
- 6:41Speaker 4: us who watch with some intent, like that's what you
- 6:43Speaker 4: want to see. And it worked like they made the moves.
- 6:46Speaker 4: We scored the runs to tie it, things like that.
- 6:48Speaker 4: But then in that moment where, you know, we needed
- 6:50Speaker 4: that one piece, you know, that one single one ball
- 6:53Speaker 4: in play, you know, you left it in the hands
- 6:56Speaker 4: of guys who frankly just don't have that experience. And
- 7:00Speaker 4: you know, sometimes it works out great, you know, like
- 7:01Speaker 4: Roden comes to mind with his late inning at-bats earlier
- 7:04Speaker 4: in the year, but yeah, that was one, it's just
- 7:07Speaker 4: a tough loss, especially after getting the lead back, you know,
- 7:11Speaker 4: tying the game, Royce with the huge hit, like, it
- 7:14Speaker 4: almost felt like a walk-off tying the game, you know,
- 7:17Speaker 4: he's so fired up about it, you know, almost got
- 7:19Speaker 4: tagged out at second, but, you know, it's just, it is,
- 7:22Speaker 4: it makes it tough to swallow, and then it just
- 7:24Speaker 4: blows up on you in the last couple innings there
- 7:26Speaker 4: where you know, next you look up and they somehow
- 7:28Speaker 4: put up a five spot, um, you know, really quickly,
- 7:32Speaker 4: but it's, you know, it's one, we can always ask
- 7:35Speaker 4: questions after the fact and wonder what if, but same time, like,
- 7:40Speaker 4: you know, it's still a righty, it's still this or that,
- 7:42Speaker 4: you know, there's no way to know, but you know,
- 7:44Speaker 4: it is like your point, we're being really aggressive and
- 7:46Speaker 4: we had another move to make.
- 7:48Speaker 5: Should we have, you know, the results tell us yes.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Also, if, If Royce Lewis is like a half inch
- 7:55Speaker 1: lower on the ball with the bat, that's a shot
- 7:57Speaker 1: into the gap and left center, and maybe Kreidler scores too.
- 8:01Speaker 1: So it was that close to working out just fine
- 8:03Speaker 1: for Shelton. But then after Lewis' hit, Culpepper comes up,
- 8:07Speaker 1: strikes out on three pitches, the last two looking, and
- 8:09Speaker 1: then the saddest ABS challenge of all time when he
- 8:13Speaker 1: hoped that that third pitch was... was not a strike.
- 8:18Speaker 1: And then Jenkins struck out on four pitches.
- 8:20Speaker 5: That's Kiddly Jansen Cutter right there. Welcome to the show.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Yes.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Ninth inning was pretty ho-hum. Jeffers did miss walking it
- 8:28Speaker 1: off by, I don't know, 15 or 20 feet with
- 8:30Speaker 1: his fly out to end it in the bottom of
- 8:32Speaker 1: the ninth. But then in the tenth, things got interesting again, Dan.
- 8:36Speaker 1: So here we are. Ben Ross, who's now in the
- 8:39Speaker 1: DH slot for Josh Bell, is up. I think this
- 8:41Speaker 1: is the point where maybe you wonder where could Alex
- 8:44Speaker 1: Jackson have done more here, but He comes up to bunt,
- 8:47Speaker 1: and everyone knows he's going to bunt. It's his second
- 8:51Speaker 1: major league at-bat. Maybe there's a better success rate, I'm
- 8:56Speaker 1: sure analytically there is, than letting him swing away and
- 8:58Speaker 1: see what happens there, but it just did not go well.
- 9:04Speaker 3: Yeah, you're right.
- 9:07Speaker 6: It was a young guy in a challenging spot, and
- 9:11Speaker 6: he got the bunt down, but not before it went
- 9:14Speaker 6: up for Way too long– pardon me.
- 9:18Speaker 2: It hung in the air way too long for Ryan
- 9:19Speaker 2: Jeffers to run on it. It did get down, but
- 9:24Speaker 2: it hung up. And if Jeffers moves, there's as good
- 9:27Speaker 2: of a chance he.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Gets doubled off.
- 9:28Speaker 2: And Dean goes sideways there, and we're yelling about it
- 9:33Speaker 2: that way. And Ross– so Ross gets thrown out. I
- 9:36Speaker 2: think Royce then struck out, I believe. And then Culpepper
- 9:39Speaker 2: flew out. Yeah.
- 9:41Speaker 3: You know, any time– the same thing happened with the
- 9:44Speaker 3: Orioles in Colorado earlier in the day where.
- 9:48Speaker 2: The Orioles went to extras and they didn't come up
- 9:53Speaker 2: or they didn't come through.
- 9:54Speaker 3: So it's like, oh, Colorado is up and you got
- 9:56Speaker 3: that chance to win.
- 9:57Speaker 2: And it's got to be such a letdown on the
- 9:58Speaker 2: home bench when all you got to do is put
- 10:00Speaker 2: the ball in play move the runner over and then
- 10:02Speaker 2: you got you know a shot another shot just to
- 10:05Speaker 2: put the ball in play and and the game is
- 10:07Speaker 2: over and um that that was a that was a
- 10:11Speaker 2: tough one I honestly think that the the 11th was
- 10:14Speaker 2: the the one that really.
- 10:15Speaker 3: Stung um yeah but yeah that's.
- 10:17Speaker 2: The thing you when you have a thinner roster, when
- 10:21Speaker 2: you have to play some inexperienced guys and, you know,
- 10:23Speaker 2: Byron Buxton's on the IL, Austin Martin's on the IL
- 10:26Speaker 2: right now, how different does the roster look if, if
- 10:29Speaker 2: those guys are around for these, these kind of at
- 10:31Speaker 2: bats or their replacements earlier are different, you know, then
- 10:37Speaker 2: you still have a carotene on the bench at that point,
- 10:39Speaker 2: that kind of thing.
- 10:40Speaker 3: That's where the being thin kind of hurts.
- 10:44Speaker 2: And, you know, It only happened one time, but that
- 10:47Speaker 2: one time was enough because I really think it comes
- 10:51Speaker 2: down to them not converting in the 8th and them
- 10:53Speaker 2: not converting in the 10th and the 11th. I mean
- 10:57Speaker 2: the 8th and the 11th, those were spots where you
- 11:00Speaker 2: had the guys. Even though Culpepper and Jenkins are young guys,
- 11:04Speaker 2: those are young guys who are super prospects, right?
- 11:09Speaker 3: It was a learning experience.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Kenley Jansen– I don't know how many times Caelan Culpepper
- 11:15Speaker 2: has seen a guy that looks like that in the
- 11:17Speaker 2: minor leagues where it's all cutters the whole time. And
- 11:20Speaker 2: then Jenkins gets Tyler Bolton, who's a nasty lefty, and
- 11:24Speaker 2: struck out pretty easily.
- 11:27Speaker 3: He was on his way.
- 11:28Speaker 2: He struck out three times last night. He had a
- 11:30Speaker 2: productive bat in his last one where he grounded out
- 11:33Speaker 2: and moved the runner to third. But, I mean, like
- 11:37Speaker 2: he didn't come through. Shelton said, look, that's going to
- 11:39Speaker 2: be something where it's a learning experience. But it certainly points,
- 11:43Speaker 2: you know, you can't get away with it all the time.
- 11:46Speaker 2: And that 10th inning exposed how thin sort of the
- 11:50Speaker 2: roster is at the end right now. You know, they
- 11:54Speaker 2: certainly could use some guys back. And it was not,
- 11:57Speaker 2: you know, there was a lot that.
- 11:58Speaker 3: Went wrong last night.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Made four for 21 runners in scoring position. Illustrates that
- 12:04Speaker 2: pretty well. But you mentioned, Tyler, kind of like the
- 12:07Speaker 2: aggressively going for it and wanting it. I think that's
- 12:09Speaker 2: how the bullpen.
- 12:09Speaker 3: Got deployed last night. and we saw Dean.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Kramer get pulled before the fifth, and that kept them
- 12:15Speaker 2: in the game. Kramer was struggling. There was a lot
- 12:19Speaker 2: of hard contact against him early on, and Detroit was
- 12:24Speaker 2: kind of having its way with the Twins through the
- 12:27Speaker 2: first seven innings of that game, and I thought Shelton
- 12:31Speaker 2: making the move there, but it caught up to you
- 12:33Speaker 2: again because at that point, Nance, who pitched two innings Monday,
- 12:39Speaker 2: has to go back out for a second inning last night,
- 12:41Speaker 2: and even though it was just the one batter, that
- 12:43Speaker 2: second up is always, always a, you know, with a reliever,
- 12:47Speaker 2: you never know what you're getting with that second up,
- 12:49Speaker 2: and adrenaline wears off quick, it does, and, and, and
- 12:55Speaker 2: Andrew Morris had pitched the night before, and thrown 30
- 12:58Speaker 2: pitches as the opener, and so he was only going
- 13:02Speaker 2: to come in in the 13th, they had to extend
- 13:04Speaker 2: it one more time to the 13th, and obviously that
- 13:07Speaker 2: didn't happen, but You know, that's the aggressive management there
- 13:10Speaker 2: also caught up eventually.
- 13:12Speaker 3: But here's the thing. I agree that it catches up
- 13:16Speaker 3: and it doesn't look good when those things happen.
- 13:18Speaker 2: But you put yourself in enough good positions earlier that
- 13:22Speaker 2: you should have won the game earlier.
- 13:23Speaker 3: And that's the, you know.
- 13:24Speaker 5: It saved them. It saved them.
- 13:25Speaker 4: Like you said, bringing them in early kept them in
- 13:28Speaker 4: that game. And they were fresh. So it's like, why not?
- 13:31Speaker 4: You know, they had the off day today. And they
- 13:33Speaker 4: looked great.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:36Speaker 4: I mean, Gomez going, he went two. Mentor came in,
- 13:39Speaker 4: did his thing. Hoffman came in. Like I said the
- 13:41Speaker 4: other day, Hoffman came in down a couple runs, and
- 13:44Speaker 4: that's going to be the new job is keep it
- 13:47Speaker 4: close enough for us to make the little comeback, and
- 13:49Speaker 4: that was a perfect example of it.
- 13:51Speaker 3: Yeah, Gomez, that was Gomez's best in a while.
- 13:55Speaker 2: He walked the first batter, got the double play to
- 13:58Speaker 2: end the ninth inning, and then came back.
- 14:02Speaker 3: The next inning and went one, two, three, and just
- 14:04Speaker 3: looked amazing. got swing and miss that he hadn't been getting.
- 14:07Speaker 3: And that had to feel good for him.
- 14:08Speaker 1: With the runner on second, of course.
- 14:09Speaker 5: So yeah, right.
- 14:12Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 14:13Speaker 2: And you, you saw him do a little leap off
- 14:15Speaker 2: the mound when he got the one, two, three and
- 14:17Speaker 2: the 10th and the runner never advanced.
- 14:19Speaker 3: And like he needed that. Uh, that was a good
- 14:22Speaker 3: moment for him. So it's, it's weird. And it's just
- 14:24Speaker 3: one of those games that you got to get done earlier.
- 14:27Speaker 2: You can't let people hang around and hang around. It's, uh,
- 14:32Speaker 2: Anybody hanging around like that, you give them too many
- 14:35Speaker 2: chances and there's enough talent. Spencer Torkelson's the 1-1. Of
- 14:40Speaker 2: course he's going to hit a hanging slider.
- 14:42Speaker 4: When he was tired of getting drilled all series, I
- 14:44Speaker 4: think he got hit three times.
- 14:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I think Luke Kieschel did too.
- 14:49Speaker 5: There's like 10 hit-by-pitches a series.
- 14:52Speaker 3: It was not the finest pitch series.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Or defended, for that matter. If you like what you hear,

- 15:15Speaker 7: Do you remember growing up and seeing that something was
- 15:19Speaker 7: sold out and it was literally sold out and you
- 15:21Speaker 7: couldn't get a ticket?
- 15:23Speaker 8: Yes, I do remember that.
- 15:23Speaker 7: That's not a thing anymore.
- 15:24Speaker 8: Cried many times over that, Scott. But now we have SeatGeek.

- 16:19Speaker 1: We talked a good amount about the bottom of the
- 16:22Speaker 1: 11th already, but, uh, Tyler, Cody Clemons has had so
- 16:26Speaker 1: many big moments for this team this year, and baseball
- 16:29Speaker 1: is just kind of like that. The best hitters only
- 16:32Speaker 1: get it right 30% of the time. You're going to
- 16:34Speaker 1: have some struggles. It was particularly jarring that all he
- 16:37Speaker 1: needed was a fly ball, five infielders. But as we
- 16:41Speaker 1: were joking about before the show, I didn't quite make
- 16:43Speaker 1: it as far as you did in baseball, but.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Man if i there's so many times when i saw
- 16:51Speaker 1: a pitch that looked like a beach ball just so
- 16:53Speaker 1: perfect for me to hit and i ended up popping
- 16:55Speaker 1: up or following it off and it just wasn't cody's
- 16:57Speaker 1: at bat and maybe the arm uh was factoring into
- 17:00Speaker 1: it but it just happens.
- 17:03Speaker 5: Yeah it's uh and stuff it's one you.
- 17:05Speaker 4: Know like i've joked about with with walker jenkins like
- 17:09Speaker 4: it's hard to go up there and decide to play
- 17:11Speaker 4: hero on a given night like you you can think
- 17:14Speaker 4: positively and do all those things but you can't go
- 17:17Speaker 4: up there and say like, I'm about to, you know,
- 17:19Speaker 4: I'm going to hit a homer. Like you hear the
- 17:20Speaker 4: stories here and there where it does happen. Um, but
- 17:23Speaker 4: a lot of times you just got to let the
- 17:24Speaker 4: game come to you. And that moment, you know, like
- 17:28Speaker 4: rodents one has had several this year. It just comes
- 17:31Speaker 4: to mind, you know, Royce with the bases loaded, just
- 17:33Speaker 4: seemingly all the time, you know, it's just guys have
- 17:36Speaker 4: a knack for getting into situations and Cody's hit some
- 17:39Speaker 4: clutch homers and things like that this year. And, um,
- 17:42Speaker 4: you know, it's, it's one, I think we've started to
- 17:45Speaker 4: depend on it almost. And, you know, it's unfortunate that
- 17:49Speaker 4: it didn't happen, and like Dan was saying, like we
- 17:51Speaker 4: were talking about, like, you get drilled in the elbow,
- 17:54Speaker 4: even with that guard on, you still feel it, and
- 17:56Speaker 4: whether that, you know, whether he would admit that or not,
- 17:59Speaker 4: if it affected him, like, it probably did, you know,
- 18:01Speaker 4: he probably went to go, and it just lagged a
- 18:03Speaker 4: little bit, you know, in baseball, it's, you know, fractions
- 18:06Speaker 4: of seconds, and then you're behind, so, you know, it's funny,
- 18:09Speaker 4: he probably wishes he had it back, but at the
- 18:11Speaker 4: same time, like, it's baseball, like you said, three out
- 18:14Speaker 4: of ten is a Hall of Fame career, so, If
- 18:17Speaker 4: he gets one tomorrow, I think he'll make sure and
- 18:19Speaker 4: capitalize on it.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Kreidler, Ross, Culpepper, and Jenkins, after that Lewis single in
- 18:26Speaker 1: the eighth, were 0-7, four strikeouts and a walk. Just
- 18:31Speaker 1: illustrating again the issues with the depth and not having
- 18:34Speaker 1: the big bats available and the missed chances. So the
- 18:37Speaker 1: Twins will try again starting Friday in Chicago. It's not
- 18:41Speaker 1: over yet, 4.3 percenters. That one stings, but it's not
- 18:45Speaker 1: over yet. We'll talk a little bit more about what's
- 18:47Speaker 1: next for the Twins in a minute, but first, an
- 18:50Speaker 1: update on Joe Ryan, who made a AAA start on Tuesday, Dan,
- 18:53Speaker 1: and now sounds like he might be getting very close
- 18:56Speaker 1: to a return to the bigs.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Yeah, apparently that Nebraska corn, I don't know what he
- 19:03Speaker 2: ate while he was there, but he's.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Got some healing powers.
- 19:06Speaker 5: Some good beef out there, too.
- 19:09Speaker 3: Yeah, some Omaha beef. He was in Omaha. So, no, he.
- 19:15Speaker 2: he came back and felt good and Derek Shelton got
- 19:18Speaker 2: a good read from what he heard from Joe Ryan
- 19:21Speaker 2: they sat down early yesterday and talked and kind of
- 19:24Speaker 2: mapped out what's next and what is next is a
- 19:26Speaker 2: bullpen session in Chicago over the weekend I would bet
- 19:30Speaker 2: Saturday maybe Friday but I think it's gonna be Saturday
- 19:34Speaker 2: and then his next outing would be to be determined
- 19:37Speaker 2: at that point and I asked Derek Shelton point blank
- 19:40Speaker 2: I was like is there a possibility that that could
- 19:43Speaker 2: be in the majors and he said.
- 19:44Speaker 3: That That door is open. We're not there yet. But,
- 19:48Speaker 3: I mean, the idea that there was.
- 19:50Speaker 2: to say that tells me if if all goes well
- 19:52Speaker 2: on Saturday for Joe Ryan that he'll be pitching in
- 19:55Speaker 2: Detroit maybe Monday Tuesday but that's that's a huge step
- 19:59Speaker 2: for these guys they they need we saw that they
- 20:02Speaker 2: they uh they mentioned that the opener for Connor Prelip
- 20:06Speaker 2: was partly to just have him not face the top
- 20:09Speaker 2: of The lineup and get to.
- 20:13Speaker 3: Your chances of coming in.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Are increased when you're facing 4-5-6 or 5-6-7 versus 1-2-3.
- 20:21Speaker 2: But also part of that plan is like, hey, we
- 20:24Speaker 2: need Connor Prelip to be efficient because he is running
- 20:27Speaker 2: out of innings, and they know that. So getting Joe
- 20:30Speaker 2: Ryan back would be critical. He threw three and 42
- 20:33Speaker 2: pitches in Omaha and got that third up, and that
- 20:37Speaker 2: was huge. And I think he may have gone to
- 20:38Speaker 2: the bullpen and gotten another up but he struck out four.
- 20:42Speaker 2: His velocity was not very impressive. It was 91.4 was
- 20:46Speaker 2: the average, and he topped out in 92.6, but there's definitely.
- 20:52Speaker 3: Majors, and I think.
- 20:55Speaker 2: That's what they're probably counting on is that Joe Ryan
- 20:58Speaker 2: will bounce back with the adrenaline rush of the major leagues,
- 21:05Speaker 2: so we will know more basically from Saturday, but I
- 21:09Speaker 2: would be I would suspect Joe Ryan's in the majors next.
- 21:14Speaker 1: Tyler, that would put him in line for as many
- 21:15Speaker 1: as four starts, perhaps, for a team that needs wins.
- 21:19Speaker 1: If he's anything like the old Joe Ryan, that could
- 21:21Speaker 1: be huge.
- 21:22Speaker 4: Yeah, and that's, at the end of the day, like,
- 21:25Speaker 4: you know, talk about pre-lift needing some barrests here and there.
- 21:28Speaker 4: That's a pretty, in my mind, a pretty easy piggyback situation.
- 21:32Speaker 4: You know, with pre-lift stuff especially, like, hey, we're going
- 21:36Speaker 4: to run you out for three innings today.
- 21:38Speaker 5: You know, Joe covers the first few.
- 21:40Speaker 4: And Prelip can kind of go let it eat for
- 21:42Speaker 4: a couple innings and then finish it off with closer,
- 21:45Speaker 4: whatever you need to do. There's scenarios where they can
- 21:48Speaker 4: make this work, and Joe obviously is a major component.
- 21:53Speaker 4: He's been kind of the horse. Taj has carried that
- 21:56Speaker 4: torch well as Joe's been missing some time. But he's
- 22:00Speaker 4: the guy in this rotation that we look to every
- 22:02Speaker 4: time through for a win. And if he can be
- 22:05Speaker 4: even close to that, call it four wins out of
- 22:08Speaker 4: his four starts. then you can kind of count backwards
- 22:12Speaker 4: there and figure out, all right, what do we need
- 22:14Speaker 4: to win with these other guys? Where can we afford
- 22:16Speaker 4: to split? So on and so forth. And it's just huge.
- 22:20Speaker 4: Having him back in general, it's a lift for the clubhouse.
- 22:24Speaker 4: The lineup knows when he's on the mound what kind
- 22:25Speaker 4: of game they're going to get, the kind of run
- 22:28Speaker 4: support they need to provide, things like that. And it's
- 22:30Speaker 4: just a settling thing. I've talked about it before, like
- 22:33Speaker 4: back when Irvin Santana was rolling or when Jose was
- 22:36Speaker 4: rolling or Kenta or pick the guy. you could kind
- 22:39Speaker 4: of show up to the yard that day knowing, like,
- 22:41Speaker 4: all right, as a reliever, I don't really need to
- 22:43Speaker 4: be locked in until about the sixth. The hitters know,
- 22:46Speaker 4: all right, if we just get a couple runs, we're
- 22:48Speaker 4: good today. And it's just a weight off of a
- 22:51Speaker 4: lot of guys' shoulders, like these moments we're talking about
- 22:53Speaker 4: with these other guys in this extra inning game. It
- 22:56Speaker 4: just creates a little bit more levity for the whole
- 22:59Speaker 4: clubhouse when a guy like Joe's available.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Noticing on our ticker at the bottom of the screen
- 23:05Speaker 1: that some of– Some relevant games are already live right now.
- 23:08Speaker 1: So whenever you're watching this, that ticker will be a
- 23:11Speaker 1: little outdated. But Cleveland and the White Sox both playing
- 23:15Speaker 1: and losing at the moment on this Thursday afternoon. In
- 23:20Speaker 1: light of the Twins' recent struggles, we asked a question
- 23:24Speaker 1: on our YouTube channel the other day. How many wins
- 23:27Speaker 1: do you think that they would end up with? And
- 23:30Speaker 1: a surprising number of you are quite optimistic, 66%. Had
- 23:35Speaker 1: them pegged for 79 or more, that would be above
- 23:40Speaker 1: 500 record from the time at which I asked this question,
- 23:42Speaker 1: which was yesterday afternoon. So that was before the loss
- 23:47Speaker 1: to Detroit last night, which surely many of you were
- 23:49Speaker 1: probably putting in the win column on the sunnier side
- 23:52Speaker 1: of those predictions. But when the Chicago series was getting
- 23:56Speaker 1: started last week, there were 28 games left. I had
- 24:00Speaker 1: said 18 and 10, somewhere around there, probably puts them
- 24:03Speaker 1: in contention. They're 3-3 since then, so now we're looking
- 24:07Speaker 1: at like a 15-7, not helping things. But I want
- 24:11Speaker 1: to get your guys' take on where do you think
- 24:14Speaker 1: this is going to end up over the last 22 games.
- 24:17Speaker 1: We've got at Chicago, at Detroit versus Cleveland versus the Yankees,
- 24:21Speaker 1: and then at the Angels for four, at the Giants
- 24:24Speaker 1: versus Texas. There's still a chance, Dan. It's getting late,
- 24:28Speaker 1: but there still is a chance.
- 24:31Speaker 3: I mean, there definitely is a chance, but it just
- 24:34Speaker 3: seems like.
- 24:36Speaker 2: This team has been able to step forward a couple times,
- 24:39Speaker 2: and then they step right back.
- 24:41Speaker 3: I like the mix. I like the energy.
- 24:43Speaker 2: I'd like it more if Byron Buxton was healthy. I
- 24:46Speaker 2: think that's a big factor here. And we don't know
- 24:49Speaker 2: what we're going to see from Joe Ryan, although I'm
- 24:53Speaker 2: probably on the optimistic side on that. But, I mean,
- 24:56Speaker 2: you know, there's a lot of work to be done,
- 24:59Speaker 2: you know, The fact that it's seven games against the
- 25:02Speaker 2: Angels and Giants, that's nice. That's definitely... There's a chance
- 25:10Speaker 2: to take advantage, and you have three more against Detroit.
- 25:13Speaker 2: There's a chance to take advantage. But, I mean, this
- 25:17Speaker 2: team really hasn't done that, and to see them capitalize...
- 25:20Speaker 2: I could see them in that 28 going 14-14, 15-13.
- 25:21Speaker 2: I'd feel a lot better about their chances if Byron
- 25:23Speaker 2: Buxton was there. Um, so I don't, you know, I
- 25:31Speaker 2: don't know if there's enough gas in the tank. Realistically,
- 25:34Speaker 2: I want to see it obviously. And I do think
- 25:36Speaker 2: that the bullpen is as sound as it's been in
- 25:39Speaker 2: a while. Um, there's a lot of things to like,
- 25:44Speaker 2: but you know, the, the skeptic, like the skeptic in
- 25:47Speaker 2: me thinks that going much more than 500 is not
- 25:51Speaker 2: what this team is. This team has just shown that
- 25:53Speaker 2: they're 500 all year and, or, or just below it.
- 25:57Speaker 3: So, it wouldn't shock me if they come up just short.
- 26:01Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 26:01Speaker 3: It's like two or three, two or three games short,
- 26:04Speaker 3: two or three games short. Sorry.
- 26:05Speaker 4: Oh, so just to the last day, that's what you're saying.
- 26:08Speaker 5: Like last series.
- 26:10Speaker 3: Um, I don't know.
- 26:11Speaker 4: I keep, I keep thinking about Cleveland and their pitching
- 26:15Speaker 4: is so good. I think it's going to come down
- 26:18Speaker 4: to some luck. Honestly, I don't think they're going to
- 26:20Speaker 4: play bad there, you know, but going 15 and seven,
- 26:23Speaker 4: I guess that would be the finish after the last six. Um,
- 26:27Speaker 4: you'd have to like miss Gavin Williams and like have
- 26:31Speaker 4: their bullpen be taxed before we come in for the series.
- 26:33Speaker 4: Like there's just going to be some stuff, things that
- 26:36Speaker 4: have to kind of align in our favor, which very
- 26:39Speaker 4: well could happen. You know, that's, it's stranger things have
- 26:42Speaker 4: happened in baseball. I mean, you know, teams have gone
- 26:44Speaker 4: on crazy winning streaks, things like that. But I think the,
- 26:48Speaker 4: the starters have to stay, they have to maintain their pace.
- 26:52Speaker 4: You know, Kramer, we'd love to see him kind of
- 26:54Speaker 4: get back to what he was right when he got here.
- 26:56Speaker 4: which he's had a weird up and down year. He's
- 26:59Speaker 4: had some good ones and bad ones. So a guy
- 27:01Speaker 4: like him stabilizing and Joe being back, starting rotation has
- 27:08Speaker 4: got to be big.
- 27:08Speaker 5: I don't think the bullpen is going to be the issue.
- 27:10Speaker 5: And then I don't know.
- 27:13Speaker 4: I would love to see a guy like, honestly, Culpepper
- 27:15Speaker 4: or Jenkins, pick your favorite, but one of them to
- 27:18Speaker 4: just get white hot and just tear the cover off
- 27:21Speaker 4: the baseball for the last few weeks. Something like that's
- 27:24Speaker 4: going to have to happen because like Dan said, without Byron,
- 27:27Speaker 4: that spark plug just isn't in the lineup.
- 27:29Speaker 5: We don't have that. Keish has done a great job.
- 27:32Speaker 4: He's a great table setter, but he's not that dynamic,
- 27:36Speaker 4: game-changing player.
- 27:37Speaker 5: When they come up into the box, that's like, oh, man,
- 27:39Speaker 5: what's this guy going to do?
- 27:41Speaker 4: So feel free, anybody who wants to do it, put
- 27:45Speaker 4: their hand up and volunteer. But baseball is a weird game,
- 27:48Speaker 4: and you never know. They could go into Chicago and
- 27:53Speaker 4: Chicago could just lay a couple eggs. Baseball is a
- 27:56Speaker 4: crazy game. That's why it's 162 games, and that's why
- 28:00Speaker 4: it's going to come down to that last two series
- 28:02Speaker 4: with the Angels and Giants for sure.
- 28:06Speaker 1: I just look at this second half of the season,
- 28:08Speaker 1: and they started it with a win in Chicago against
- 28:11Speaker 1: the Cubs to get to 500, and you're like, all.
- 28:13Speaker 5: Right, here we go. Got our hopes up.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Followed immediately by four straight losses, two to Chicago, two
- 28:19Speaker 1: to Cleveland. Then they won seven out of nine. Over 500,
- 28:24Speaker 1: here we go. Then four straight losses to Seattle and
- 28:27Speaker 1: Kansas City. Then they win the opener in Milwaukee. Okay,
- 28:32Speaker 1: here we go. Then they lose the next two. Baltimore
- 28:35Speaker 1: was after that, then swept by Philadelphia, and we're thinking,
- 28:38Speaker 1: oh boy, five games under 500, here we go. Then
- 28:41Speaker 1: they sweep Atlanta out of nowhere. Then they get swept
- 28:43Speaker 1: by San Diego. Struggle with the A, struggle with Chicago,
- 28:47Speaker 1: get a little three-game winning streak going here against Detroit,
- 28:49Speaker 1: and of course that came to an end last night,
- 28:51Speaker 1: but That's all to say I have no idea where
- 28:55Speaker 1: this is going to end up. The potential exists. Look,
- 28:58Speaker 1: Bailey over– I'm sorry. Zebby Matthews has been really.
- 29:02Speaker 3: Good pitching lately, right? Yeah. He goes Friday. By the way,
- 29:06Speaker 3: we should say this.
- 29:07Speaker 2: The twins are realigned their rotation for the White Sox.
- 29:12Speaker 2: So Bailey was online for Friday. Now Bailey is Sunday,
- 29:15Speaker 2: and it will be Zebby Friday and Taj Bradley on Saturday.
- 29:20Speaker 2: That's your two best, hottest pitchers right there, Taj Bradley
- 29:23Speaker 2: and then Zebby Matthews. Taj Bradley also struggles in Chicago.
- 29:28Speaker 2: So what do we– like that's the thing. It's like, yeah,
- 29:32Speaker 2: I want Taj Bradley taking the ball right now. Also,
- 29:35Speaker 2: his history is not pitching well against the White Sox.
- 29:38Speaker 3: So like what happens?
- 29:41Speaker 2: This guy has been– he had immaculate inning and his
- 29:43Speaker 2: stuff was amazing in Sacramento. He was outstanding the other
- 29:47Speaker 2: day against Detroit. But which version of him is going
- 29:51Speaker 2: to be in Chicago? You've got Zebby. Like Zebby has
- 29:54Speaker 2: been lights out. Can he keep that going? Because if
- 29:58Speaker 2: those two can keep it going, you like your chances
- 30:00Speaker 2: against the White Sox team. If the result holds on Thursday,
- 30:03Speaker 2: they've lost three of four in Houston and got a
- 30:06Speaker 2: little dose.
- 30:07Speaker 3: Of their own medicine.
- 30:08Speaker 2: But things happen in baseball, and you just never know.
- 30:11Speaker 2: And I tend to think with teams that hover around 500,
- 30:15Speaker 2: they just sometimes can't get out of their own way, whether.
- 30:17Speaker 5: It's the injuries and the depth.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Again, if Byron Buxton is healthy, even for two weeks,
- 30:24Speaker 2: if they got him back and he's healthy for two weeks, hey,
- 30:28Speaker 2: You might change my mind. But also, I don't know
- 30:31Speaker 2: if he's capable of that just because that hip is
- 30:33Speaker 2: so tricky. And it does sound like surgery is on
- 30:36Speaker 2: the table for him after the season. So, I mean,
- 30:39Speaker 2: that's just a huge wild card to throw in this
- 30:42Speaker 2: wild card race. There's so many variables that you're just going,
- 30:49Speaker 2: what could sink them potentially will?
- 30:52Speaker 4: And they just– Flipping like four different quarters and hoping
- 30:55Speaker 4: they match up.
- 30:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:58Speaker 2: We've seen 140 games of evidence of this.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Right. It's like– And we keep talking about them in
- 31:03Speaker 1: the context of the playoff race because they're very much
- 31:06Speaker 1: in it, but it's not your typical means of being
- 31:08Speaker 1: in a playoff race.
- 31:09Speaker 3: Correct.
- 31:10Speaker 5: Usually you're 10 games over 500. And no one for
- 31:11Speaker 5: that matter.
- 31:13Speaker 4: That's why we're still here. Everybody kind of is, yeah. So– Sorry,
- 31:19Speaker 4: go ahead, Dan.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Yeah, like I've seen a team like this happen before
- 31:23Speaker 2: too where they do figure it out and turn it on.
- 31:26Speaker 2: I covered the Padres in 2007. It was my rookie year.
- 31:29Speaker 2: And the Colorado Rockies were just– I get the sense already.
- 31:34Speaker 3: They were horseshit.
- 31:34Speaker 2: And then they won 14 in a row at the
- 31:36Speaker 2: end of the season. And they won 21 in a
- 31:39Speaker 2: row and made the World Series.
- 31:41Speaker 9: Like they– I was a little late. You were, but
- 31:48Speaker 9: they were terrible. But they got hot, and it was Rocktober.
- 31:52Speaker 2: And again, Matt Holliday still hasn't touched the plate. Game
- 31:57Speaker 2: 163 was like a 13-inning massacre. Scott Harrison hits a
- 32:03Speaker 2: two-run home for the Padres in the top of the 13th.
- 32:05Speaker 2: And then Trevor Hoffman, Bud Black had managed that in
- 32:08Speaker 2: his rookie year well enough that Trevor Hoffman was available
- 32:12Speaker 2: to pitch the bottom of the 13th. And he gave
- 32:14Speaker 2: up a two-run triple to Lewicki and then Matt Holliday
- 32:19Speaker 2: still hasn't touched the plate. Anyways, you say this against
- 32:24Speaker 2: the context of they're 500 or they're below 500 and
- 32:27Speaker 2: they can't get out of their own way. But there's
- 32:30Speaker 2: examples of it where teams get caught.
- 32:35Speaker 3: So it's not saying it can't be done. It just
- 32:38Speaker 3: doesn't seem right.
- 32:40Speaker 5: Like it will be angels in the outfield.
- 32:42Speaker 1: And there's also the question of how hot are they
- 32:43Speaker 1: going to have to get? That depends on those other
- 32:45Speaker 1: five teams in the running too. Like they, could they
- 32:49Speaker 1: go eight and four in these next 12 games? I
- 32:51Speaker 1: think they could, they could also go four and eight
- 32:54Speaker 1: and either one of those records might still have them
- 32:57Speaker 1: in this thing. Even at that point, just depending on
- 33:00Speaker 1: how everyone else does or not. Like if some, if
- 33:03Speaker 1: one other team does get hot and it's not the twins, it's,
- 33:06Speaker 1: Even if they do okay, this thing could be over
- 33:08Speaker 1: pretty quick. But if they can just get to that
- 33:11Speaker 1: 10 game, I know they've played terribly against the worst teams,
- 33:14Speaker 1: but if they can just get to that last 10
- 33:15Speaker 1: game stretch, four in LA against the Angels, three in
- 33:19Speaker 1: San Francisco, and three at home against Texas with a chance,
- 33:22Speaker 1: can they go eight and two in those 10 games?
- 33:24Speaker 1: They could. like they still could be an 80, 80
- 33:27Speaker 1: plus win team. And that just might be enough.
- 33:29Speaker 3: And they could just as easily go four and six.
- 33:31Speaker 1: It could be exactly who we thought they were. Yes, exactly.
- 33:35Speaker 2: So this is, this is one of those seasons that
- 33:37Speaker 2: makes you hit your head on the, the window or
- 33:40Speaker 2: the wall.
- 33:41Speaker 3: Like you're bouncing, like it just, you're all over the
- 33:45Speaker 3: map emotionally. I can't imagine.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Like, it's nice to be detached last night.
- 33:50Speaker 3: Right.
- 33:51Speaker 2: Like for me, like for me, just trying to be as,
- 33:53Speaker 2: you know, down the middle, You don't get there and
- 33:57Speaker 2: you're writing and you go, okay, what am I going
- 33:59Speaker 2: to write about here if this happens?
- 34:01Speaker 3: What am I going to write about if this happens?
- 34:03Speaker 3: And it's different than being emotionally invested where you're like.
- 34:06Speaker 5: Just get the bunt down.
- 34:08Speaker 3: You know, just– yeah.
- 34:13Speaker 5: Anywhere else.
- 34:13Speaker 3: Social media is fun on those kind of nights, by
- 34:15Speaker 3: the way. Watching social media is fun on those nights.
- 34:19Speaker 1: Look, everyone is frustrated by this team's flaws. You're absolutely
- 34:23Speaker 1: right to be frustrated. I'm going to stay out of
- 34:26Speaker 1: the 95.7% as long as mathematically possible for now.
- 34:30Speaker 3: Right.
- 34:31Speaker 1: I'm still finding ways where maybe, maybe they can make
- 34:33Speaker 1: a run. And it'll start this weekend in Chicago real quick.
- 34:38Speaker 1: Three games, Friday through Sunday, all are evening games. 6.40
- 34:42Speaker 1: start Friday night, 6.10 Saturday, 5.20 on Sunday. We mentioned
- 34:46Speaker 1: Zemi Matthews on Friday against Eric Fetty, Taj Bradley Saturday
- 34:49Speaker 1: against Anthony Kaye, Bailey Ober against Sean Burke. on Sunday, and.
- 34:56Speaker 8: Tyler, I.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Could see anything. I could see them getting swept, and
- 35:02Speaker 1: it's not even a contest, or I could see the
- 35:04Speaker 1: surprise series win against the division rival on the road
- 35:08Speaker 1: to get us back in the positive side on Monday,
- 35:10Speaker 1: but here we go. It's getting close to the final verdict.
- 35:14Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 35:16Speaker 5: I've said it a lot. I've always loved playing in Chicago.
- 35:20Speaker 4: Something about that place, it's just like, I don't know,
- 35:23Speaker 4: they get Good crowds. I'm sure they're going to do well,
- 35:25Speaker 4: especially being in the mix like they are. Dan would
- 35:28Speaker 4: probably know better than I. But, you know, they're going
- 35:30Speaker 4: to have good fans. There's going to be some fistfights
- 35:32Speaker 4: in left center. There's going to be all the things.
- 35:35Speaker 4: It's always a great time there. It's just one of
- 35:38Speaker 4: those you show up, you know, and everything's black and gray.
- 35:41Speaker 4: It's just like kind of that medieval feel. And it's
- 35:43Speaker 4: just like, all right, let's go play some ball, you know.
- 35:46Speaker 4: And it's always a place they got me geared up
- 35:48Speaker 4: a little bit to play. I'm sure there's guys in
- 35:51Speaker 4: the locker room that feel the same way. With games
- 35:53Speaker 4: meaning what they do, no matter what's hurting right now,
- 35:57Speaker 4: it makes it really easy to play baseball when you're
- 35:58Speaker 4: playing games that matter right now.
- 36:01Speaker 1: We will see you on Monday after that series. We'll
- 36:04Speaker 1: have a lot to talk about, I'm sure. If you
- 36:06Speaker 1: like what you hear, please toss us a like or subscribe,
- 36:08Speaker 1: however you watch or listen. If you're on YouTube right now,
- 36:12Speaker 1: there's a QR code on the screen to make it
- 36:14Speaker 1: super easy. Thanks so much, everybody, for listening. We'll catch
- 36:17Speaker 1: you next week on Twin Cities Territory. Bye-bye.
