- 0:51Speaker 2: How you doing? I'm this gorgeous California Thursday.
- 0:54Speaker 3: I'm feeling.
- 0:57Speaker 4: Energized by that cold open, Oh, salt Lake for from Oh,
- 1:04Speaker 4: these editors, these producers really took it to the next level.
- 1:08Speaker 2: I mean, shall we begin by just jumping right into
- 1:11Speaker 2: Salt Lake City? Duh, it's the premiere. It's so exciting.
- 1:16Speaker 2: We're here, We've waited for it, and they showed up
- 1:19Speaker 2: and looks like they're going to be showing up all
- 1:21Speaker 2: season long. Now let's talk about this cold let's talk
- 1:25Speaker 2: about this intro.
- 1:26Speaker 3: Yeah, the whole thing, I mean, through the the whole thing,
- 1:30Speaker 3: because it was like we had Heather's voiceover about pulling
- 1:34Speaker 3: the curtain back.
- 1:35Speaker 4: And sorry, here's.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Heather in her very fancy shirt and camouflage spandex workout pants.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Sitting in the chair. I was like, all right, ladies,
- 1:52Speaker 2: it's time to just dress from head to toe, you
- 1:55Speaker 2: know what I mean.
- 1:56Speaker 3: But I loved it because it's the it's she said,
- 2:00Speaker 3: were showing you everything, and we've just never seen that before.
- 2:03Speaker 3: They're probably all of the wives.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Do we have seen that? No, they all do that,
- 2:08Speaker 2: and we have seen that.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Well we've seen it in the actual like like the show.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Oh well, maybe you're right about that. Maybe we haven't
- 2:16Speaker 2: seen it in the actual.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Show because I know, like on on their socials we
- 2:22Speaker 3: see it. Yeah, the show to actually.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Okay, bring fair point. I'll give you that welcome in
- 2:28Speaker 2: on your points. Good job. Okay. So we're showing you
- 2:31Speaker 2: everything and they pull back and she's all, look at night,
- 2:35Speaker 2: me and my skinny little ass in my new house.
- 2:43Speaker 3: Yeah that house. Also, I noticed it. You Oh what
- 2:49Speaker 3: were you going to say?
- 2:49Speaker 1: No?
- 2:50Speaker 2: I was going to say, keep talking. If the music happens, Emily,
- 2:52Speaker 2: just keep going. Yeah.
- 2:55Speaker 3: The opening also, they totally took a page from the
- 3:00Speaker 3: Pump Rules crowd.
- 3:01Speaker 2: I was gonna say, Oh, I was gonna say they
- 3:04Speaker 2: took a page from the Kardashians, because that was a
- 3:08Speaker 2: Kardashian opening. I don't know. I don't even really watch
- 3:11Speaker 2: the I don't watch the Kardashians.
- 3:13Speaker 3: I don't. I don't either. I love two years.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Ago, okay, two years ago when they had this all
- 3:20Speaker 2: new this is before like Ellen was canceled because when
- 3:23Speaker 2: they had this big new show coming back. Oh, when
- 3:25Speaker 2: they went to Netflix, lu sorry, when they went to Hulu.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, the first.
- 3:30Speaker 2: Show out of the gates of Hulu. I watched that
- 3:32Speaker 2: first episode and their intro was spectacular. It was them
- 3:38Speaker 2: going in the houses like that, all the way through
- 3:40Speaker 2: the house out, yes, and out, and then to another
- 3:44Speaker 2: person's house over the hills, and then to like their
- 3:47Speaker 2: workplace in in this and out and over to Kim.
- 3:50Speaker 2: So that was full on Kardashian. Yes, I think that
- 3:55Speaker 2: vander Pump took a page from Kardashian's book. But I
- 3:57Speaker 2: remember that because, uh, I was blown away by that opening.
- 4:01Speaker 2: And when Chris Who's so pretty, was on the Ellen
- 4:05Speaker 2: Degenerate show, you know, they're friends, and Chris is like,
- 4:09Speaker 2: did you see the opening?
- 4:11Speaker 3: Ellen?
- 4:12Speaker 2: And Ellen's like, uh, great, Yeah, the show's great, and
- 4:15Speaker 2: she's like the did you see how pretty it was?
- 4:18Speaker 2: And she's like and she's like the opening, Allen, and
- 4:23Speaker 2: she's like, well, I don't know what you're talking about.
- 4:24Speaker 2: She's like, didn't you see the pretty open? I mean,
- 4:27Speaker 2: Ellen didn't missed it. She didn't know what Chris was
- 4:31Speaker 2: talking about. And they just sat in this miscommunication for
- 4:35Speaker 2: a good forty five seconds. And I was like, Ellen,
- 4:40Speaker 2: it was an enormous opening that was like cinematic, you know,
- 4:43Speaker 2: it was like Scorsese for reality television. And Chris is
- 4:47Speaker 2: trying to point this out and Ellen could give two shits.
- 4:50Speaker 2: But anyway, so we're getting back to the Mormon, the
- 4:54Speaker 2: Mormon version of that.
- 4:55Speaker 3: I could see Ellen never she probably hasn't watched TV
- 4:59Speaker 3: and twenty years, so watch watch it.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, great, yeah, great, great show, great opening. What Chris,
- 5:07Speaker 2: I don't know what you're talking about. Dance, But everything's
- 5:15Speaker 2: white again, just like those Mormon Salt Lake City people
- 5:21Speaker 2: love a white decor.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Yeah, And you know, everything always feels so fresh, and
- 5:30Speaker 3: it all looks very expensive. But I think it's just
- 5:33Speaker 3: because it looks fresh and clean.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Yes, And they're like these new houses that don't have
- 5:40Speaker 2: a mark on them, you know, because Heather's house looks
- 5:42Speaker 2: like new construction, so does Whitney's.
- 5:45Speaker 3: Yeah, now do you remember the news about Whitney not
- 5:49Speaker 3: filming at her actual house this for this upcoming season,
- 5:54Speaker 3: Like she really, we have our filming house and then
- 5:57Speaker 3: we have our live in house. She's I thought on
- 6:00Speaker 3: one of these podcasts like Biofiles or something, so I
- 6:05Speaker 3: don't know, maybe the darlings can clear that up.
- 6:07Speaker 2: I was like, our house is a villain, and it's not.
- 6:11Speaker 2: We can't film a nette because it's a villain house.
- 6:18Speaker 3: The house of villains Jack's and Lisa Barlow.
- 6:23Speaker 2: And Teresa Judacey. So your house is a villain, Whitney.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Oh how convenient. Everyone's a villain. I'll be your villain.
- 6:38Speaker 2: I'll be your house a villain, Whitney.
- 6:42Speaker 3: I mean, Whitney probably did Lisa a favor by saying that,
- 6:45Speaker 3: because Lisa could get on that show with that sound bite.
- 6:49Speaker 3: She could the villain.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll be your villain, bitch.
- 6:53Speaker 3: So good.
- 6:54Speaker 2: And then Whitney had a great I know we're jumping
- 6:56Speaker 2: right to the end, we have to, but like Whitney
- 6:59Speaker 2: had a good moment too because she's like, you want
- 7:02Speaker 2: to see you want to meet the held Whitney.
- 7:06Speaker 3: I know, She's like, fuck you.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Nis Sabala.
- 7:11Speaker 3: Held that wasn't even that big of a tha. I
- 7:14Speaker 3: was so shocked after they were coming at her like
- 7:17Speaker 3: ten pit bulls in a medley, and then her comeback
- 7:22Speaker 3: was fuck you and then they were like what that
- 7:28Speaker 3: made no sense to me. It was a terrible comeback,
- 7:31Speaker 3: and we were all devastated.
- 7:35Speaker 2: They were all yelling at I think a lot had
- 7:37Speaker 2: to do with editing, and they were really layering in
- 7:41Speaker 2: and then Angie's like, whoa burbe, you're really getting up
- 7:45Speaker 2: on cars quoted out, no boob, that's my way, that's
- 7:49Speaker 2: my Angie. She's just cher.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I mean I couldn't believe Whitney wasn't bawling
- 8:00Speaker 3: she has, I mean, whatever defense mode she goes into
- 8:03Speaker 3: to just sit there and stare at their mother's screaming
- 8:07Speaker 3: at her, even if it's editing. Yeah, those screaming that
- 8:10Speaker 3: came from some time. I mean one sentence would have
- 8:14Speaker 3: broke me, let alone, the entire sid What if.
- 8:17Speaker 2: You were guilty of all what you're being accused of?
- 8:21Speaker 3: I would have cried harder like Tanya and Jim crazy.
- 8:28Speaker 2: You would have cried like Tanya. Tanya so a fake cry. Yeah.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Yeah, but Whitney was almost she almost had like a
- 8:37Speaker 3: glint in her eyes, like it was like just almost
- 8:41Speaker 3: like an enjoyment. It was.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Yeah, she had a snowflake shining from that eye. Why, Emily,
- 8:47Speaker 2: you've said it before. She's the thirstiest housewife, you know.
- 8:51Speaker 2: I mean, this is all going according to her plan, now,
- 8:54Speaker 2: don't get it twisted. I love Whitney wild buzz like,
- 8:59Speaker 2: I love her, you know what I mean, Like, yeah,
- 9:01Speaker 2: she makes the cast rounded. I mean, I love everybody
- 9:04Speaker 2: on the show. They're so great, so entertaining, but every yeah,
- 9:10Speaker 2: every thing that they were accusing of of being a
- 9:15Speaker 2: liar was interesting because I saw it as well. Maybe
- 9:20Speaker 2: she's not a liar as much as she is just
- 9:22Speaker 2: a shitstirr because, like you could say the same thing
- 9:24Speaker 2: about Tamra. I feel like Whitney does the same thing
- 9:27Speaker 2: that Tamra does, but not as hard or not as
- 9:30Speaker 2: obvious or as harsh. But if you were to strip
- 9:33Speaker 2: down the layers, you see how she's making moves to
- 9:36Speaker 2: plant things here and there.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Good point, that's totally it because everyone at that table
- 9:44Speaker 3: has lied that we have seen. So to your point, yeah,
- 9:49Speaker 3: Whitney's a shitster more than like Chitter, who would just
- 9:53Speaker 3: like lie or deny right.
- 9:56Speaker 2: I mean, Heather were just completely not answer the question
- 10:01Speaker 2: and not tell us who gave her the black eye
- 10:03Speaker 2: for an entire year and then still not tell us
- 10:05Speaker 2: exactly what happened.
- 10:07Speaker 3: Yeah exactly, or protect Jenshaw or like another.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Right and protect yes exactly.
- 10:14Speaker 3: Yeah, Whereas Whitney'll just be like, so it came across
- 10:17Speaker 3: my desk that you sucked dick for jazz tickets.
- 10:22Speaker 2: I mean, that is an insane thing to bring up.
- 10:27Speaker 2: I mean when I saw that back and to Lisa's
- 10:30Speaker 2: reaction was very actually it reminded me of Leah from
- 10:35Speaker 2: Love Island. She was like, are you coraasy Jenney?
- 10:42Speaker 5: Whitney, I was like, seriously, what are You're literally accusing
- 10:52Speaker 5: a friend.
- 10:53Speaker 2: I don't know what you would call her at this point,
- 10:55Speaker 2: but a castmate of givings giving bjs, A married woman
- 11:03Speaker 2: with kids. You're accusing her of giving BJS to get
- 11:07Speaker 2: court side tickets to see the jazz. You are actually
- 11:12Speaker 2: saying that on television. Wow, Whitney, Wow, Yeah, you know
- 11:17Speaker 2: it's crazy.
- 11:18Speaker 3: I actually think who would you trust? Who do you
- 11:21Speaker 3: trust more in life? I mean, if they were your friend,
- 11:26Speaker 3: Whitney or Tamra, like they both will take whatever they
- 11:32Speaker 3: can get and use it on the show. So like
- 11:35Speaker 3: it's it's pretty at.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Least at least actually, I would trust Tamra because Whitney
- 11:42Speaker 2: is taking literal tales, tales that don't exist, and putting
- 11:51Speaker 2: it out into the world, whereas Tamra actually has some
- 11:55Speaker 2: foundation of truth, so she may beinging it up when
- 12:01Speaker 2: she shouldn't be bringing it up or have no reason
- 12:04Speaker 2: to bring it up, and she's bringing up to be messy,
- 12:07Speaker 2: but at least it's for the most part based on
- 12:11Speaker 2: some sort of I don't know, loose truth, Whereas that's
- 12:16Speaker 2: outlandish to even like if I if you were to
- 12:19Speaker 2: heard hear that rumor, yeah, if you were a normal
- 12:22Speaker 2: human being, you'd be like, that's ridiculous, and I would
- 12:25Speaker 2: never repeat that because that's so outlandish, But go ahead
- 12:29Speaker 2: beating it.
- 12:30Speaker 3: The Heather book thing, like I one hundred percent believe Heather,
- 12:33Speaker 3: Like I don't believe that Whitney, Like I feel like
- 12:35Speaker 3: Whitney was trying to create something. So yeah, it's like
- 12:40Speaker 3: she will take just crumbs and go so far down
- 12:45Speaker 3: that road that you can't believe her conviction.
- 12:49Speaker 2: And then what was Meredith accusing her? Because I couldn't
- 12:52Speaker 2: bear her.
- 12:52Speaker 3: Oh oh that was I mean, I find.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Yeah, no, no, that what does she lie about? At
- 13:03Speaker 2: the dinner table, she was accusing her of lying of
- 13:06Speaker 2: something and I couldn't hear her because she was piping in.
- 13:09Speaker 2: It just sounded like a trombone.
- 13:12Speaker 6: Wow wow wow wow wow.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Wow wow, poor Meredith.
- 13:22Speaker 2: And then and then yeah, Heather and Meredith list all
- 13:27Speaker 2: the lies then and She's like that's a lot, babe.
- 13:31Speaker 6: You're all getting up on her, babe.
- 13:33Speaker 2: And then Whenney's like, you're weaponizing my trauma, and then
- 13:39Speaker 2: Lisa's like, keep hilling. God. It was a great cacophony
- 13:48Speaker 2: of a first episode.
- 13:52Speaker 3: And I appreciate that that they'd let it be as
- 13:55Speaker 3: the first episode and didn't start the season and then
- 14:00Speaker 3: flashed back kind of thing, because it was like that
- 14:02Speaker 3: level of it wasn't I mean, it wasn't Jersey baptism
- 14:08Speaker 3: level opener then cut back to see how we got here,
- 14:11Speaker 3: but it was. It was definitely like a pretty intense opener,
- 14:16Speaker 3: and it felt natural. It just felt like things were
- 14:22Speaker 3: brewing and I didn't even realize it because I just
- 14:25Speaker 3: assumed when they left that reunion that they were all
- 14:28Speaker 3: like tighter than ever, even though yeah, they.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Well yeah once we once we revisited what happened in
- 14:36Speaker 2: that reunion and we needed that. I was like, oh, yeah,
- 14:40Speaker 2: this group is not good, you know, I mean just sorry.
- 14:46Speaker 2: It's just like, this episode was so good, and like
- 14:48Speaker 2: you said, the ending was a little bit of a
- 14:50Speaker 2: surprise that it really popped off so much. But I
- 14:54Speaker 2: have to say, I am really glad that we didn't,
- 14:56Speaker 2: as you mentioned, see the very first episode pro timeline
- 15:02Speaker 2: strange shot bump bump bum, Yeah, four months earlier. I'm
- 15:07Speaker 2: just kind of sick of that and I'm so happy
- 15:10Speaker 2: we didn't get there. Instead, they kept going like they
- 15:13Speaker 2: would show twenty like a day later and then go
- 15:17Speaker 2: back to the day before. And it was a little confusing,
- 15:19Speaker 2: but it was a really fun way to edit. I
- 15:21Speaker 2: think it was just like, yeah, creative. It was a
- 15:23Speaker 2: little confusing, but it was creative. Hard to do notes
- 15:26Speaker 2: on because now my notes are all scattered. But if
- 15:31Speaker 2: we can begin after that amazing drone shot of going
- 15:35Speaker 2: in and out of all the houses, which was fabulous,
- 15:40Speaker 2: and Heather's like, we are a group that has been traumatized,
- 15:48Speaker 2: and then like and then they kind of start to
- 15:51Speaker 2: pass the baton of the narration, which they probably shouldn't
- 15:55Speaker 2: have because it was fine with Heather, but then it
- 15:57Speaker 2: ends up with like other people who can't really nar
- 16:00Speaker 2: rate because then all of a sudden and like Angie's like.
- 16:03Speaker 6: Yeah, and then and then I'm just still mad about
- 16:07Speaker 6: the Greek mo for you comment, and I don't know
- 16:10Speaker 6: what's gonna happen in our larms.
- 16:14Speaker 2: And so so he says Justin says says fired, just
- 16:22Speaker 2: just just and then like it just to pass, andary
- 16:27Speaker 2: ration was a little bit of a sticky wicket. But yeah,
- 16:31Speaker 2: we land with.
- 16:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I just yeah, I don't, I don't. I will
- 16:37Speaker 3: get there. I don't love Angie, but keep going, Oh.
- 16:40Speaker 2: I mean dude, Okay, we'll get there. No, I don't.
- 16:44Speaker 2: I don't love her. I think she's ridiculous and I
- 16:48Speaker 2: literally go, are you I'm like Angie Police with the
- 16:52Speaker 2: fucking scroll.
- 16:55Speaker 3: It's all of it. She's just when you were saying, like.
- 16:58Speaker 2: The thirst and she's the thirstiest, well she is now.
- 17:04Speaker 3: She was back then, like she remember all the like
- 17:07Speaker 3: in her first season, she was like weirdly throwing glass wear,
- 17:11Speaker 3: but the beat was just a little off y.
- 17:13Speaker 2: She was she was the thirstiest then too. Yeah, Whitney's different.
- 17:18Speaker 2: She's just messy. You know. She wants to keep it going.
- 17:21Speaker 2: So we find out that Whitney was on the Nick
- 17:25Speaker 2: Vile podcast The Vile Rials and says, yes, has always
- 17:29Speaker 2: been the villain, and uh Lisa has a Besos party
- 17:34Speaker 2: where you're supposed to bring a friend, so she has
- 17:37Speaker 2: her sister in law, everyone's bringing somebody. Uh Lisa's setting
- 17:42Speaker 2: up and she's like, I hate angles, which I appreciate
- 17:47Speaker 2: really well. I just visit this type of stuff that
- 17:50Speaker 2: I love to see.
- 17:51Speaker 6: Oh.
- 17:52Speaker 3: I was funny though when you said I appreciate it,
- 17:54Speaker 3: I was like, Okay, explain it to me because I
- 17:56Speaker 3: just didn't.
- 17:57Speaker 2: I think I understand what she was saying. And so like, okay,
- 18:01Speaker 2: if you were to picture your bookshelves and how you're
- 18:05Speaker 2: going to organize your knickknacks and your frames or your
- 18:08Speaker 2: books and things like that, I think what she's saying
- 18:12Speaker 2: is the old way to do things is like you're
- 18:14Speaker 2: going to put You're going to put a picture on
- 18:17Speaker 2: an angle, but now it's forward facing. We're not doing
- 18:20Speaker 2: we're not angling things now, you know what I mean,
- 18:23Speaker 2: It's like forward facing and a little more. That's how
- 18:25Speaker 2: I took it because I was like, oh, I see that,
- 18:28Speaker 2: because when you look at decor these days, it's it's
- 18:30Speaker 2: just a little bit more streamlined and you know, yeah, straightforward.
- 18:36Speaker 2: And we find out that Angie has gained Mary's trust
- 18:41Speaker 2: and they're the best of friends. And I think this
- 18:43Speaker 2: was Angie's super thirsty She knew what side her bread
- 18:48Speaker 2: would be buttered on if she could just get one
- 18:50Speaker 2: ally outside of who she's already friends with. And I
- 18:54Speaker 2: think Mary is an interesting way to go.
- 18:58Speaker 3: I do think Angie is genuinely probably so nice and
- 19:04Speaker 3: actually very friendly and so and open, but she does
- 19:12Speaker 3: not also make a to me on this show. It's
- 19:16Speaker 3: just there's something that is off. Yeah, it's like.
- 19:19Speaker 2: She's not as organic as other people.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like, no, Angie, these people are actually legit.
- 19:24Speaker 3: This pissed you. I don't think have writ this too.
- 19:29Speaker 3: I don't think you're willing to be that vulnerable and
- 19:32Speaker 3: you'd rather like soothe somebody over here, which is fine.
- 19:36Speaker 3: I'd probably rather be friends with her, but it just
- 19:39Speaker 3: takes me out of the moment.
- 19:40Speaker 2: Absolutely, I agree with you. I mean, do I have
- 19:44Speaker 2: a laugh at Angie with how thirsty she's being. Yes,
- 19:47Speaker 2: but I'm laughing at her, not with her. And I
- 19:50Speaker 2: also don't approve of it. But Heatherre's lost twenty five
- 19:54Speaker 2: pounds and she's got that latex heart dress on and
- 19:59Speaker 2: she's bo in there. And then we get Bronwyn, who's
- 20:03Speaker 2: Lisa's friend in her heart coat, which I can't wait
- 20:08Speaker 2: to discuss when, by the way, uh, Brittany is that
- 20:13Speaker 2: her name?
- 20:14Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, the one that's dating or was dating in
- 20:17Speaker 3: Osmond or whatever.
- 20:19Speaker 2: And this is like very out of Salt Lake City,
- 20:22Speaker 2: where if you want us to pronounce your names correctly,
- 20:26Speaker 2: please spell them the way that we need to pronounce them.
- 20:30Speaker 2: Because I was calling her Brittania Brittania I mean because
- 20:35Speaker 2: that's how it's spelled or whatever, and I'm just passed
- 20:39Speaker 2: about it, so she will now be called Brittani.
- 20:44Speaker 3: To me, this very much all felt like, uh, audition.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Okay, tell me she met. Yeah, the audition process of
- 20:53Speaker 2: having everyone bring a friend, let's see who sticks to
- 20:55Speaker 2: the wall.
- 20:56Speaker 3: Yeah, yes, for sure, And like you know, first it
- 21:02Speaker 3: was like everybody comes in, you get an entrance, a look,
- 21:06Speaker 3: an intro and a chat with Mary on the couch,
- 21:10Speaker 3: like that's kind of with Mary.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I was dying when Brittani went over and sat
- 21:21Speaker 2: next to Bronwynn and Mary and and I believe authentically
- 21:27Speaker 2: and not even trying to be thirsty, completely inadvertently insulted
- 21:32Speaker 2: them both and hit them right between their eyes in
- 21:35Speaker 2: the most soft spot she possibly could and didn't even
- 21:39Speaker 2: mean it. I was like, this woman is born for
- 21:42Speaker 2: reality television. Yes, I mean, wow, wow wow.
- 21:48Speaker 3: I mean she kind of spoke for all of us. Yes,
- 21:52Speaker 3: I mean I would have also complimented their costume. I
- 21:55Speaker 3: think we've talked about because we saw Bronwin's costume and
- 21:59Speaker 3: we said she was dressed like Mary's chairs. We saw
- 22:03Speaker 3: that in the preview, Like I didn't know that this
- 22:07Speaker 3: was not a costume until now.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Oh you thought you okay? All right? Well, her walking
- 22:15Speaker 2: up and being like I love your costume and then
- 22:18Speaker 2: to seek f Bronwyn like be so I felt humiliated
- 22:25Speaker 2: for Bronwyn because it made her look really stupid, and
- 22:29Speaker 2: then her taking herself so seriously wearing that thing, and
- 22:33Speaker 2: to feel like, oh, well, this is this is not
- 22:36Speaker 2: a costume, darling, this is fashion. I mean, I can't believe.
- 22:39Speaker 2: I mean, we need to set her straight. And then
- 22:43Speaker 2: and then with the conversation with Mary, her being like,
- 22:47Speaker 2: oh I was poor too, yeah, and She's like I
- 22:50Speaker 2: was poor and then her being like, oh, so you
- 22:52Speaker 2: became a hoarder. I mean, every single thing she said
- 22:57Speaker 2: they were guilty of and yet they were stuck like
- 23:02Speaker 2: she has a gift. Okay, I need to take a

- 29:42Speaker 2: Housewives of Salt Lake City.
- 29:44Speaker 3: Does she or does Mary have a gift? Because like
- 29:48Speaker 3: Mary was saying these things, Mary was like, I I
- 29:53Speaker 3: drive a car, and she's like, oh, you ride in
- 29:56Speaker 3: a car. I never said I ride. It's like Mary
- 30:01Speaker 3: would just find this loophole.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, every time. Yes, yes, I know it made
- 30:07Speaker 2: no sense.
- 30:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:09Speaker 2: When she said, oh, so, yeah, you became a hoarder,
- 30:12Speaker 2: I was not dead on the floor because she is
- 30:15Speaker 2: like a high end hoarder. We all know that. And
- 30:18Speaker 2: she kind of was like, oh my god, because you
- 30:21Speaker 2: know that she's been called out about that, so this
- 30:23Speaker 2: is a soft spot for her too. So now this
- 30:26Speaker 2: woman has been accused of wearing a costume when there's
- 30:28Speaker 2: only three of them in the world. One is in
- 30:30Speaker 2: a museum, one is on Rihanna, and one she has
- 30:33Speaker 2: and it's a fifteen thousand dollars fashion piece from what
- 30:37Speaker 2: Saint Laurent is that what? I don't remember, sure, but
- 30:42Speaker 2: but oh no, it's so funny.
- 30:43Speaker 3: I don't know so much that this woman has a
- 30:46Speaker 3: gift as much as she sat down between two people
- 30:49Speaker 3: that are on their own planets.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Oh yeah, and she's the only real one there, and
- 30:54Speaker 2: this is somebody trying to relate Yes, oh where did
- 30:58Speaker 2: you go for your costume?
- 31:02Speaker 3: Because nothing that they were saying she she wouldn't relate to. Yeah,
- 31:07Speaker 3: she would pick up the details and then assign a
- 31:10Speaker 3: word to it that anybody else would. And then Marian
- 31:15Speaker 3: what's her head? Uh, We're just like, what the fuck
- 31:19Speaker 3: is wrong with this person? Absolutely nothing.
- 31:26Speaker 2: I mean love to have seen it.
- 31:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I wouldn't have meant to. I just would have
- 31:30Speaker 3: been like, oh.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Like cool, whoopsies.
- 31:36Speaker 6: Uh.
- 31:37Speaker 2: We have a flashback of Heather at Meredith's after Meredith
- 31:41Speaker 2: has had her third breast reduction, which she says, like
- 31:46Speaker 2: her breast tissue keeps growing and I think that's really
- 31:49Speaker 2: an interesting like I know Heather was laughing because she
- 31:53Speaker 2: was making light of the fact that it's a It's
- 31:55Speaker 2: what a gift you have. You're skinny and your boobs
- 31:57Speaker 2: keep getting bigger, you know, But I just want under
- 32:00Speaker 2: what that is. I mean that kind of sounds really dangerous.
- 32:03Speaker 3: One that I know that has had a breast reduction
- 32:06Speaker 3: has to have had it at least twice. That is
- 32:09Speaker 3: what happens in the friends And I'm thinking of three people.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Do they know why that happens to them?
- 32:16Speaker 3: I don't know. I mean I think that is just
- 32:19Speaker 3: what happens. I don't know. I mean, this is a
- 32:22Speaker 3: very small sample size that I've done my science on,
- 32:26Speaker 3: but it is something that is not uncommon.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Okay, I just thought, I wonder if it's like a
- 32:31Speaker 2: hormonal thing or you know, And also that's really unfortunate,
- 32:36Speaker 2: Like that's a lot of work, you know, to have
- 32:38Speaker 2: to deal with that over and over again.
- 32:40Speaker 3: Yeah you know who else that happened to? Robin Quivers?
- 32:44Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah. It just says breast hypertrophy is benign.
- 32:57Speaker 2: Is a benign condition that causes breast tissue to enlarge
- 32:59Speaker 2: due to increased sensitivity to certain hormones. So yeah, that
- 33:05Speaker 2: could it also could be because of like fibroid cysts,
- 33:09Speaker 2: fibro didn't Okay, you get the idea. Yeah, so interesting.
- 33:15Speaker 3: Way, going back real quick to our little couch clutch. Uh,
- 33:20Speaker 3: nothing that uh Britannica said was more offensive than what
- 33:26Speaker 3: Mary says in any given three minutes of.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Well that's that's I just yeah, Mary, of course, but
- 33:35Speaker 2: Mary seems to come she's coming from a mean spirited place,
- 33:38Speaker 2: you know, whereas Encyclopedia Britannica was just like completely innocent
- 33:46Speaker 2: of what was coming out of her mouth, and yet
- 33:47Speaker 2: it was so insulting. And that's why I got so
- 33:49Speaker 2: much pleasure out of it, because these two women think
- 33:52Speaker 2: they're the shit, you know what I mean, in their
- 33:54Speaker 2: fashions and I just I love people being taken down
- 33:57Speaker 2: a nutge which was really fun. But so yeah, Heather
- 34:03Speaker 2: is there and she's talking to her, and then and
- 34:07Speaker 2: then Meredith is talking about how she's mad at Whitney
- 34:11Speaker 2: for starting her jewelry line after the bath product thing.
- 34:15Speaker 2: And now it gets real and then we flash back
- 34:20Speaker 2: to the Bezos party and Meredith goes right up to Whitney,
- 34:24Speaker 2: which was an identical, identical move two last season's first
- 34:31Speaker 2: episode where Meredith marched right over to Whitney and had
- 34:35Speaker 2: a problem with her from the last reunion or season before.
- 34:38Speaker 2: That wasn't wrap up and they did show a flashback
- 34:41Speaker 2: and I was like, this is amazing, Like I hope
- 34:43Speaker 2: this continues to happen every year, or the first episode,
- 34:47Speaker 2: it's Meredith walking over with her hair. You know, I
- 34:50Speaker 2: have a problem now. And then for her to be
- 34:53Speaker 2: like their communication about bath bombs and them not understanding,
- 34:59Speaker 2: was like, why didn't you do the back bombs, the
- 35:03Speaker 2: bath bombs, bombs bombing and fluid bombing, fluid bombs, bombs,
- 35:13Speaker 2: bomb bombs, And then they're going back and forth and
- 35:18Speaker 2: she's like if She's like, if you were a friend,
- 35:21Speaker 2: you want to have done this, because I said I
- 35:23Speaker 2: was going in a bath produx. And then Whitney's like,
- 35:26Speaker 2: if you a friend, you'd know that us already selling
- 35:29Speaker 2: bath bombs. That's how I lunched my business. And and
- 35:34Speaker 2: then she's like nah, She's like I had him in
- 35:37Speaker 2: fig and Twig or whatever the hell her store was,
- 35:40Speaker 2: you know, yeah, and she's like nah, She's like, well,
- 35:44Speaker 2: I had him on my list, but she didn't order them.
- 35:51Speaker 3: Meredith was on her heels by the end of that, though.
- 35:54Speaker 2: I was like, oh, oh snap, Whitney, Okay, we've got clarification.
- 35:59Speaker 2: Now I'm not as pasted, because I mean, but it
- 36:02Speaker 2: was a hit against Meredith. She said for the girl
- 36:05Speaker 2: who likes to bathe alone, and that's everything is that's
- 36:09Speaker 2: the joke that Whitney was making at Meredith for bathing
- 36:14Speaker 2: with her husband Sath, and that's why, that's why she
- 36:17Speaker 2: made it alone. So it is an attack on Meredith.
- 36:19Speaker 2: So that's why I hate when Whitney's like, I don't
- 36:22Speaker 2: know it. H Yeah, the whole joke was that that.
- 36:28Speaker 3: Yeah, but I mean I do think that Whitney lay
- 36:31Speaker 3: claimed to the real estate.
- 36:32Speaker 2: Oh yeah, no, absolutely, that's one hundred percent true. However,
- 36:38Speaker 2: putting the product out as a joke against Meredith is
- 36:43Speaker 2: what Meredith should have had a problem with, and not
- 36:46Speaker 2: the actual product itself. It should have been you're making
- 36:49Speaker 2: fun of me and my hasma, and instead now Whitney's like,
- 36:54Speaker 2: I don't know what you're talking about. It's like, Whitney,
- 36:56Speaker 2: don't be so stupid. We know you know you you
- 36:58Speaker 2: attacked her, you made a joke of her on your bombs, Like,
- 37:01Speaker 2: stop playing stupid.
- 37:02Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah yeah. But I also thought, like Meredith
- 37:08Speaker 3: like saying she was going to do it at the reunion,
- 37:10Speaker 3: Yeah that doesn't count. That was she didn't have a product.
- 37:15Speaker 3: Yeah I didn't have a product.
- 37:17Speaker 2: Yeah, No, she needed to have it and Whitney had it,
- 37:19Speaker 2: so there you have it. So that was a fun
- 37:25Speaker 2: argument and then we get a cut in of Mary
- 37:29Speaker 2: inner confessional being like, I don't trust baths, I mean,
- 37:36Speaker 2: and she had a good point. Yeah, I kicking and
- 37:41Speaker 2: she's soaken too long?
- 37:44Speaker 3: Well, I mean, yeah, I think paramedics remember when when
- 37:48Speaker 3: they had it, there was like they had a check
- 37:50Speaker 3: on her because they were afraid of it. Wasn't did
- 37:54Speaker 3: we get didn't wasn't there that controversy? They were worried
- 37:57Speaker 3: that she had taken too many pills and had too
- 37:59Speaker 3: many and was sitting in the bathtub.
- 38:01Speaker 2: That was not No, that's Vicky. Oh no, that was
- 38:04Speaker 2: Vicky after her surgery. Wait, what what do we know?
- 38:07Speaker 3: That was recent? I'm talking about No, I'm talking about Meretith.
- 38:10Speaker 3: It was the last season. I think there was like.
- 38:12Speaker 2: A wait, one of the b name eight other housewives
- 38:16Speaker 2: where there were drugs or alcohol or surgeries involved in
- 38:20Speaker 2: a bath. I'm kidding.
- 38:22Speaker 3: Now that I'm saying this. I think we were concerned
- 38:25Speaker 3: for Meredith that Okay, yeah, it was a girl's trip
- 38:30Speaker 3: and I can't remember which one.
- 38:31Speaker 2: But oh yeah, I yes, one hundred percent know exactly
- 38:36Speaker 2: what you're talking about.
- 38:37Speaker 3: Yeah, and.
- 38:42Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, anyway, I can't quite get there. But no,
- 38:45Speaker 2: we got there because that that's that's just the truth.
- 38:48Speaker 3: But anyway, yeah, a hotel bathroom, a hotel bathtub, absolutely, Mary,
- 38:53Speaker 3: you are right. Never, I mean, she didn't have a
- 38:55Speaker 3: hotel bath in a hotel, no, or one of the disgustings.
- 39:00Speaker 4: I don't.
- 39:00Speaker 2: I wouldn't even go. I don't even want to go
- 39:02Speaker 2: in a jacuzzi anywhere, thank you. Wait, but we totally
- 39:08Speaker 2: forgot to mention that in that drone shot through the houses,
- 39:12Speaker 2: who did we see soaking in their bath?
- 39:15Speaker 3: Meredith and Seth. I didn't.
- 39:17Speaker 2: I missed it, you guys, if you didn't see it.
- 39:20Speaker 2: They go through the houses and it's fast and they
- 39:23Speaker 2: go and there's Meredith, that are fucking bath. It's so genius,
- 39:31Speaker 2: it's so good. That's good stuff. So but here's what,
- 39:37Speaker 2: here's where it pisses me off up to your point
- 39:40Speaker 2: about Angie, and that is this Meredith and Whitney are
- 39:46Speaker 2: just about to come out of the bomb argument. What
- 39:50Speaker 2: is this the bachelor? Excuse me? Can I steal you
- 39:53Speaker 2: for a moment. They're in the middle of something, Angie.
- 39:57Speaker 2: You don't come in it, babe, babe, babe, babe, babe. No,
- 40:02Speaker 2: I got to say something I gotta do it now
- 40:04Speaker 2: because and do you see her eyes like look to
- 40:06Speaker 2: the producers or cameras like I saw them swerving around.
- 40:11Speaker 3: The whole thing. Oh, I hate it.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Not cool, not cool.
- 40:16Speaker 3: And listeners, I almost gave Amy applause into the mic
- 40:20Speaker 3: and I thought of your ear drums, so I didn't
- 40:23Speaker 3: do it. But absolutely that was horrendous, Thank you.
- 40:28Speaker 2: It's just thirsty. And yes, later when we're all talking
- 40:33Speaker 2: about the scroll and the scroll is going to be
- 40:35Speaker 2: the thing now, it's not worth it. It's not worth
- 40:40Speaker 2: it in the end.
- 40:42Speaker 3: It's not going to be a thing now. Andrew's going
- 40:45Speaker 3: to try to make it a thing, and it's going
- 40:47Speaker 3: to come up at the reunion. She's going to be like,
- 40:49Speaker 3: oh Andy, I got you a scroll and we were
- 40:51Speaker 3: gonna be like what yoh yeah that thing from the
- 40:53Speaker 3: first what episode is that this season? Because it's not real.
- 40:58Speaker 3: It doesn't stick.
- 41:00Speaker 2: And you know what how you said before that it
- 41:02Speaker 2: was like a beat off of what she was doing.
- 41:04Speaker 2: She's always like several beats off. I mean she does
- 41:06Speaker 2: like if you were to think of The Housewives as music,
- 41:12Speaker 2: you know, and we have a beat, it's like, can
- 41:15Speaker 2: you just like snap your fingers and do a beat,
- 41:17Speaker 2: and I'll bet Angie ready, Yeah, she can't get it.
- 41:25Speaker 2: So then when so when she comes up and she
- 41:28Speaker 2: does this whole thing, and at the end, Meredith's like,
- 41:30Speaker 2: I'm an darn guy drink and She's like, well, I
- 41:33Speaker 2: thought that you could have a sonch of humor. It's like,
- 41:35Speaker 2: what are you talking about? There was no sense of
- 41:37Speaker 2: humor in your delivery, in the way you put this forward.
- 41:42Speaker 2: You didn't. You never indicated in any way that this
- 41:45Speaker 2: was a joke. Had you, maybe things would have been
- 41:49Speaker 2: a little different.
- 41:50Speaker 3: But she was yelling in her face yeah, like a prop.
- 41:56Speaker 3: And also I don't know what was on there, but
- 41:59Speaker 3: if you noticed in her confessionals, part of it was
- 42:01Speaker 3: blurred out. Yeah, so it was like, god only knows
- 42:04Speaker 3: what that says.
- 42:05Speaker 2: Yeah, what are you swearing on a scroll for?
- 42:09Speaker 3: Yeah, or saying something extra inflammatory like I don't know,
- 42:13Speaker 3: like maybe that was like something she could have gotten
- 42:15Speaker 3: or the show could have gotten sued for. And I
- 42:17Speaker 3: was just like Angie, like, we're not dumb. Stop doing
- 42:21Speaker 3: this stop and over again. You're treating us like we're dumb.
- 42:24Speaker 2: The only thing that was entertaining about the scroll is
- 42:28Speaker 2: when they cut to Mary in her confessional and she
- 42:32Speaker 2: was like, she got crafty. She went and she got
- 42:35Speaker 2: a stick, she got some glue. I was like, that's funny,
- 42:40Speaker 2: that is funny. I mean, Mary, really, she can kill
- 42:45Speaker 2: it sometimes. And so now Angie wants apologies from Meredith
- 42:50Speaker 2: for the whole thing about buying her house. You could
- 42:56Speaker 2: sue her for her house and I don't even want to.
- 42:59Speaker 2: I don't even care about like what that was about
- 43:01Speaker 2: her who or what. It kind of seems like Meredith
- 43:04Speaker 2: didn't say that though it kind of seemed like.
- 43:08Speaker 3: That, but I don't know it. You know, Angie is
- 43:11Speaker 3: just going after Meredith again. It's fake as shit because
- 43:16Speaker 3: it's just like she's going for a person on the
- 43:21Speaker 3: show that will keep her relevant. And so no matter what,
- 43:24Speaker 3: she's not gonna fight Lisa, like in any real way.
- 43:28Speaker 3: She's going to be afraid of Lisa. But Lisa's gonna
- 43:30Speaker 3: have the control on that, and so Lisa's just not
- 43:33Speaker 3: going to engage or forget to call. Meredith will always engage.
- 43:38Speaker 2: And so until she disengages, yeah, which at the dinner
- 43:42Speaker 2: and Angie, sorry, but she sounds like a script it
- 43:48Speaker 2: like if you were to script out a fake housewive show.
- 43:51Speaker 2: Uh huh, that's the script you would get, would be
- 43:55Speaker 2: Angie's lines when she's talking at the dinner table and
- 43:59Speaker 2: she's defending herself and she says, you don't tell someone
- 44:05Speaker 2: to sue you and take their house. I have a
- 44:08Speaker 2: teenage daughter. You don't do that to a family. I
- 44:16Speaker 2: was like, Okay, who do you do it to? Then? Like,
- 44:21Speaker 2: who do you do it to someone who doesn't have
- 44:22Speaker 2: a teenage daughter? Like what are your ramifications.
- 44:26Speaker 3: For your rules? Angie?
- 44:28Speaker 2: It just was so funny to me. She's so canned,
- 44:33Speaker 2: so canned.
- 44:34Speaker 3: So Angie Canngie.
- 44:38Speaker 2: So Lisa has her speech, She's like, I love you guys,
- 44:42Speaker 2: I'm so happy here. I'm getting emotional, but I hate podcasts.
- 44:49Speaker 2: Open the gate and then they're like and then this
- 44:52Speaker 2: huge gate comes up and she's like, let's eat. And
- 44:56Speaker 2: it's like, oh, okay, that was really dramatic, loud and confusing.
- 45:02Speaker 3: Well, she kind of gave Whitney a little so we
- 45:05Speaker 3: got to talk about that. But it was like a
- 45:07Speaker 3: really kind of friendly thing, so I thought, oh, maybe
- 45:10Speaker 3: it's not that bad. Yeah, but yeah, it was.
- 45:13Speaker 2: It was kind of weird that she would do it
- 45:15Speaker 2: in that speech, but whatever. So then they opened that door.
- 45:21Speaker 2: Looked cool, really cool inside. I liked it.
- 45:23Speaker 3: Oh yeah, it looked awesome.
- 45:26Speaker 2: And then Britannica sits next to Mary and she's like,
- 45:31Speaker 2: oh my God, and Maris, oh Jesus, like it's so
- 45:34Speaker 2: good here him under their breath.
- 45:37Speaker 3: This is real.
- 45:39Speaker 2: And then Angie won't shut up. She won't shut up.
- 45:43Speaker 2: She's already taken it to the dinner table about what
- 45:45Speaker 2: Meredith did last year and how she deserves apologies and
- 45:48Speaker 2: all that stuff. And then we get served our dinners
- 45:52Speaker 2: and Mary doesn't want steak in her colon for a week,
- 45:55Speaker 2: and it doesn't happen like that doesn't I mean, it's
- 45:58Speaker 2: not there for a week.
- 46:00Speaker 3: I mean no. But you know, if if meat isn't
- 46:03Speaker 3: your thing, you start to give it a lot of
- 46:05Speaker 3: Like I've noticed my friends that don't eat meat give
- 46:09Speaker 3: it a lot of power.
- 46:10Speaker 2: Okay, like start me lying, you mean graduating, Yeah, I
- 46:15Speaker 2: mean I.
- 46:16Speaker 3: Think eating red meat consistently. We know science isn't good,
- 46:20Speaker 3: but like, yeah, I just marry science is a little different.
- 46:25Speaker 2: All right, Hold on one second, I got to talk
- 46:33Speaker 2: a little bit about every plate. Now let's get back
- 46:39Speaker 2: to the premiere of the Real House Lives of Salt
- 46:42Speaker 2: Lakes Today. All right, So Lisa tells Whitney she's upset
- 46:49Speaker 2: about the Vile Files about the podcast, and she's just like,
- 46:55Speaker 2: you lied about me on the podcast, and Whitney says,
- 46:58Speaker 2: I don't lie about you. That's not a lie. That's
- 47:02Speaker 2: how I fell, that's my experience with you. And then
- 47:07Speaker 2: and then she finds out from Whitney that Lisa's mad
- 47:13Speaker 2: at her already because because Lisa hasn't confronted her yet,
- 47:17Speaker 2: but she's only told Heather and Angie. So she's like,
- 47:25Speaker 2: who told you? Who told you? I only told two people.
- 47:29Speaker 2: Let's figure out who told you. I'm like, okay, this
- 47:35Speaker 2: is kind of a fun game. I didn't know she
- 47:37Speaker 2: was going to be so upset about someone telling her.
- 47:40Speaker 2: But I suppose it takes the wind out of her
- 47:43Speaker 2: sails in the sense that she wants to confront her
- 47:46Speaker 2: without her getting a heads up to see how she'll
- 47:48Speaker 2: handle it. I mean, I guess that makes sense, right.
- 47:52Speaker 2: I didn't think of it was that big of a deal.
- 47:55Speaker 3: I didn't either, And I didn't think that, uh well,
- 48:00Speaker 3: I just I was confused in terms of like Whitney
- 48:03Speaker 3: seemed to be not in touch with Lisa since the
- 48:06Speaker 3: reunion too much, so I wouldn't be that big of
- 48:09Speaker 3: a surprise to Whitney that Lisa was pissed about something.
- 48:14Speaker 3: But the podcast. Also, I didn't think what she said
- 48:20Speaker 3: was that bad.
- 48:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't. I didn't either. I mean her she
- 48:23Speaker 2: was like, oh, Lisa's always the villain. Well, I mean,
- 48:30Speaker 2: I don't think Lisa is always the villain though, do
- 48:33Speaker 2: you No.
- 48:34Speaker 3: I think I think Whitney, we know over the years, though,
- 48:38Speaker 3: gives Lisa a lot of power that I don't think
- 48:40Speaker 3: she has. I think, and Whitney said Lisa is more
- 48:43Speaker 3: powerful than she is for whatever reason. I don't know
- 48:47Speaker 3: what that is.
- 48:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that she's threatened by her and so
- 48:51Speaker 2: therefore she's somehow slapped a title on her which doesn't fit.
- 48:56Speaker 2: I mean, I think Whitney is wrong with what she saying.
- 49:00Speaker 2: Lisa is I mean to walk out of that season
- 49:03Speaker 2: and call Lisa Barlow the victim, I'm sorry, the villain
- 49:07Speaker 2: and not Monica. The villain is really odd. Maybe you
- 49:13Speaker 2: could call her other names, but villain doesn't seem quite right.
- 49:17Speaker 2: It does seem that Lisa is in the hot seat
- 49:19Speaker 2: a lot since the first season, Like I think that
- 49:23Speaker 2: people are usually coming for her or against her and
- 49:26Speaker 2: she blows up. She's definitely had a journey where she's
- 49:29Speaker 2: been on an island on her own.
- 49:31Speaker 3: Yeah, But so that's because she operates on her own, right,
- 49:35Speaker 3: Like she just moves through life at one hundred miles
- 49:37Speaker 3: an hour, doesn't realize she's offended anybody, and that keeps
- 49:41Speaker 3: going and also doesn't really take too long to dwell
- 49:45Speaker 3: on a mistake.
- 49:46Speaker 2: Right. So, Yeah, because Heather and Heather and uh, Whitney
- 49:50Speaker 2: were against Lisa Barlow for a long time and it
- 49:53Speaker 2: was like that was a whole thing, you know, bad weather.
- 49:57Speaker 2: Then it became Lisa and Meredith and you know, you
- 50:02Speaker 2: slept with half of New York. And now she's the
- 50:05Speaker 2: bad guy for saying all that, and so I could see,
- 50:09Speaker 2: I don't know, I'm trying to give Whitney the benefit
- 50:11Speaker 2: of the doubt for calling her a villain, and I
- 50:13Speaker 2: just still don't see how it fits.
- 50:16Speaker 3: Yeah, only to Whitney, because I think Whitney invested so
- 50:20Speaker 3: much time trying to be Lisa's friend and it just
- 50:24Speaker 3: wasn't reciprocated the way Whitney thought it would be. I
- 50:28Speaker 3: think she just I think she invested so much time
- 50:31Speaker 3: that she wanted Lisa to look up to Whitney, like
- 50:34Speaker 3: Lisa looks up to Meredith in a weird way. And
- 50:38Speaker 3: that's just not going to ever happen with Whitney and Lisa.
- 50:41Speaker 2: That dynamic they tried, you know, and I thought they
- 50:44Speaker 2: were going to pull through it, and they really did
- 50:47Speaker 2: have a good they had one good season. Yeah, but yeah,
- 50:52Speaker 2: you know, it's it's too bad because I honestly think
- 50:55Speaker 2: in many ways Whitney is the one that's causing the
- 50:59Speaker 2: rift because of the way that she handles things being
- 51:03Speaker 2: threatened or wanting more drama. It seems she's quick to turn.
- 51:08Speaker 3: I think, yeah, Lisa seems to have in Whitney's mind.
- 51:13Speaker 3: It almost feels like a little bit like of a
- 51:15Speaker 3: like a she's the cool girl, and Whitney just wants
- 51:18Speaker 3: to be with the cool girl and get that cool
- 51:20Speaker 3: girl full acceptance. Yeah, and Lisa's like, I don't have
- 51:24Speaker 3: time for the whatever you assigned to me. I got
- 51:27Speaker 3: the shit to do.
- 51:29Speaker 2: Well, she just popped off, I mean obviously like she
- 51:33Speaker 2: was trying to find out who told her, who told
- 51:35Speaker 2: Whitney and then finally had There's like, I mean I didn't,
- 51:40Speaker 2: and then Angie's like I told her some of our
- 51:42Speaker 2: conversation burb and then for her to just jump at
- 51:48Speaker 2: Angie was like nuts. I mean she went from zero
- 51:53Speaker 2: to one hundred, being like did you want to be
- 51:55Speaker 2: involved in GIK? I was like, holy shit, Lisa Baso
- 52:00Speaker 2: Spabe Baso like, sit down, and I don't appreciate her
- 52:05Speaker 2: standing up. Like that's where I'm like, you guys have
- 52:07Speaker 2: to sit down. You're triggering people, you're escalating things. And
- 52:13Speaker 2: guess what she did. She took a glass and threw it,
- 52:16Speaker 2: and I thought, what are we doing? Like what is this?
- 52:19Speaker 2: You know, I don't want to be light about you
- 52:21Speaker 2: lied about her, and you fucking said that I slept
- 52:23Speaker 2: with somebody I didn't sleep with. I get still being
- 52:27Speaker 2: mad about that. That would make me want to throw
- 52:30Speaker 2: a glass. But it's a little late. You know, it
- 52:32Speaker 2: just didn't seem like it was warranted for this moment.
- 52:37Speaker 3: It just felt like we missed, uh solid twenty minutes
- 52:41Speaker 3: of backstory that I don't know. Yeah, it make no sense.
- 52:45Speaker 2: Right, what'll please? Don't throw glasses? Stop?
- 52:49Speaker 3: Well you can throw glasses if like there was some
- 52:53Speaker 3: big reveal and you can't believe that your confidence was
- 52:58Speaker 3: you know, disrespected. I mean, I just none of that happened.
- 53:04Speaker 3: It felt like so weird. It was felt so general
- 53:09Speaker 3: and broad strokes.
- 53:12Speaker 2: I don't know, I don't, I do not know. It
- 53:15Speaker 2: really did like escalate beyond what I felt the actual
- 53:19Speaker 2: issue really was, and that who knows it they'll ever
- 53:23Speaker 2: be able to come together so that Lisa can say
- 53:26Speaker 2: to her, how can you call me a victa a
- 53:28Speaker 2: villain when you systematically brought a rumor that never existed
- 53:33Speaker 2: that was so defamatory to me, onto me and this show.
- 53:39Speaker 2: I mean, I'd like to be able to not bring
- 53:41Speaker 2: up what she said about Meredith on that hat Mike,
- 53:43Speaker 2: but she said it, so she also kind of did
- 53:46Speaker 2: the same thing she did.
- 53:47Speaker 3: But what her reaction was was as though Whitney had
- 53:51Speaker 3: said as though, yeah, as though Whitney had been like,
- 53:57Speaker 3: I'm the one that brought Monica in and I told
- 54:01Speaker 3: her to start the account, And it was like that
- 54:05Speaker 3: level of reaction, right, And that would have made more
- 54:10Speaker 3: sense even than talking about the other stuff, because that
- 54:13Speaker 3: happened a couple of years ago, and we've watched them
- 54:15Speaker 3: evolve past that, and so yeah, it was odd.
- 54:19Speaker 2: It was odd, but what a heck of an ending
- 54:21Speaker 2: of a first episode with them. You know, I'll be
- 54:25Speaker 2: your I'll be your villain bitch, and you want to
- 54:28Speaker 2: meet the hild Whitney Fucky Lisa Barlow. So I just
- 54:34Speaker 2: want to before we wrap this up, I want to
- 54:36Speaker 2: mention like Bronwyn, who I'm very excited about her being
- 54:40Speaker 2: on the show. What a character and we learned a
- 54:44Speaker 2: little bit about her. She's got a couple of kids,
- 54:46Speaker 2: she married an older man and she was kicked out
- 54:50Speaker 2: of BYU. She loves fashion. She's got six dogs that
- 54:54Speaker 2: all for the.
- 54:55Speaker 3: House of card.
- 54:56Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't know where I found this picture. I
- 55:01Speaker 2: took a screenshot of it. Oh, you must have been
- 55:04Speaker 2: on the show. So check this out. Does this look
- 55:08Speaker 2: like her at all? No? It doesn't. No, Yeah, she's
- 55:12Speaker 2: had some work done. So this is her pre Housewives
- 55:17Speaker 2: or pre whatever in her life. That's one picture and
- 55:21Speaker 2: then here's the other one. I was like, what, that
- 55:23Speaker 2: can't be her, you know, because say it and then
- 55:28Speaker 2: look at her out that what she kind of reminds
- 55:30Speaker 2: me of Laura Flynn Boyle, doesn't she.
- 55:32Speaker 3: Yeah, she does. I think I think maybe she just
- 55:36Speaker 3: had a nose job.
- 55:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it's the nose job and potentially a
- 55:43Speaker 2: little bit of lip filler.
- 55:45Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I mean just in terms of surgery, though,
- 55:48Speaker 3: I bet it. It doesn't look like she's done much besides.
- 55:50Speaker 2: That the teeth. I can't see her teeth and the
- 55:54Speaker 2: other ones, but it looks like she's gotten a new
- 55:55Speaker 2: set of like veneers of some sort. So fascinating. All right,
- 56:00Speaker 2: anything left to say Emily before we wrap up the
- 56:03Speaker 2: premiere of Salt Lake City. It's going to be a
- 56:06Speaker 2: great season.
- 56:07Speaker 3: I'm very excited about it. Again, I don't understand the
- 56:11Speaker 3: temperatures involved, because my nose would have been running and
- 56:13Speaker 3: my face would have been beat red outside waiting for
- 56:15Speaker 3: the dining room to open. Yeah, it was so It
- 56:19Speaker 3: looked so cold, and all of them looked amazing through
- 56:24Speaker 3: it all without one running nose. No lake Chase.
- 56:29Speaker 2: I'm very impressive. They're acclimated to Salt Lake City weather.
- 56:33Speaker 3: I guess I am not. Well.
- 56:37Speaker 2: I'm excited about it. Can't wait for next week And guys,
