- 0:00Speaker 1: The Woody Show and right into another new hour, Insensitivity
- 0:06Speaker 1: Training for a politically correct world. All right, so these
- 0:11Speaker 1: headlines coming up, no weekend cheers and jeers. Hope everybody
- 0:15Speaker 1: had a decent weekend. You know, you want to shoot
- 0:19Speaker 1: for the stars. We're just decent. I would say it
- 0:22Speaker 1: was decent. I'll start with the gear. The jeer is that,
- 0:25Speaker 1: you know, just I just I can't get going on
- 0:28Speaker 1: this year. Man, Like there's no there's no momentum to
- 0:31Speaker 1: this year at all. It is like it's like walking
- 0:35Speaker 1: with concrete shoes. I think everybody's had this dream, you know,
- 0:42Speaker 1: when you're in a dream and you're trying to do
- 0:45Speaker 1: something quickly, but your your limbs you can't paralyze, you're
- 0:50Speaker 1: moving in slow motion. You're like, and I would imagine
- 0:53Speaker 1: it's the you know how people with claustrophobia feel. It's
- 0:56Speaker 1: that kind of like pressing yeah, dude, that is this.
- 1:00Speaker 1: You're so far from you and I can't I can't
- 1:02Speaker 1: snap out of it. I don't know what's going on.
- 1:04Speaker 2: So that's the overwhelmed with tasks.
- 1:06Speaker 1: There there's you know, there's more than I thought going on,
- 1:10Speaker 1: and that certainly is part of has been pointed out
- 1:12Speaker 1: to a couple of people who I've talked to and whatever,
- 1:14Speaker 1: and they go, oh, that that's got to be part
- 1:16Speaker 1: of what's going on. Like, people understand January February, this
- 1:19Speaker 1: is the worst part of the year. It's slog Yeah,
- 1:22Speaker 1: especially after the Super Bowl wraps up, and if you're
- 1:24Speaker 1: a sports fan, I mean, you know, it's these are
- 1:27Speaker 1: dark times. I actually really kind of pass March madness
- 1:31Speaker 1: for a lot of people. But I'm not in the
- 1:32Speaker 1: college basketball so that's that's the jeer is that kind
- 1:35Speaker 1: of continues to carry through. But the cheer is.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Uh.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Did a lot of flying this weekend. I flew Friday,
- 1:42Speaker 1: I flew Saturday, and I flew Sunday, including a date
- 1:46Speaker 1: flight with my wife. And then because my kids were
- 1:51Speaker 1: all just like we wanted to go, like well, they
- 1:54Speaker 1: were all busy the day that my wife and I went,
- 1:56Speaker 1: so I took my kids and the wife we all
- 2:00Speaker 1: as a family for the first time.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Wow, that's the first yeah.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Yeah. And then we buzzed Genus house. On the way back.
- 2:06Speaker 4: We all ran outside little kids.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Yeah, So that was the That was the truer. That
- 2:13Speaker 1: was actually a lot of fun. That was like for
- 2:14Speaker 1: the first time. So that was pretty cool.
- 2:16Speaker 4: But what did the kids think of you in the
- 2:17Speaker 4: pilot's seat?
- 2:18Speaker 1: They thought they thought it was cool, and uh, you know,
- 2:21Speaker 1: it's just it's funny because you know, I think people
- 2:23Speaker 1: are used to getting in the car, starting and going
- 2:26Speaker 1: and you know you have to do, yeah, you have
- 2:30Speaker 1: to do like a pre flight of the plane to
- 2:31Speaker 1: make sure that everything's cool and then working order. And
- 2:33Speaker 1: it's like they don't have a lot of patience for
- 2:35Speaker 1: that stuff. And I'm like, guys, this is the important
- 2:37Speaker 1: stuff and the other thing is too. As I told him,
- 2:40Speaker 1: I said, you know, unlike on the ground, I said,
- 2:42Speaker 1: anything that has to do with this plane, it's super
- 2:44Speaker 1: important that you listen to everything I tell you, Like,
- 2:48Speaker 1: nothing is up for debate. If I tell you something,
- 2:50Speaker 1: you just do it immediately. You shut up and.
- 2:51Speaker 2: You just don't touch why.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it's super important. Yeah, don't hit this button
- 2:56Speaker 1: right here? Menace weekend cheers and jeers.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Well, I have a great time in Las Vegas all weekend.
- 3:02Speaker 2: And I have New Vegas power rankings for everybody, and
- 3:06Speaker 2: the power rankings go like this best place for restaurants, Venetian.
- 3:10Speaker 2: I think Venetian has really stepped up their game. When
- 3:12Speaker 2: it comes to restaurants. There's like forty different restaurants there.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Now.
- 3:15Speaker 2: I just went to this highlight a couple. Yeah yeah,
- 3:18Speaker 2: coat is this coat?
- 3:20Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 3:20Speaker 2: This new Korean Korean barbecue spot. It's originally from New
- 3:26Speaker 2: York City. Now they have a location in Vegas. So
- 3:28Speaker 2: good and I think they really like probably stepped up
- 3:31Speaker 2: their game because of the spheres connected to the Venetians,
- 3:34Speaker 2: so they have to have like entertainment sure and options there. Dude,
- 3:38Speaker 2: so awesome there. And uh when it comes to power rankings,
- 3:41Speaker 2: best rates, best rooms, I'm going Resource World and Fountain
- 3:46Speaker 2: Blue like their brand new hotels, and they're like the
- 3:51Speaker 2: prices are great, but they'd be.
- 3:53Speaker 4: The most expensive.
- 3:53Speaker 3: I just booked Resorts World yesterday because it was the
- 3:56Speaker 3: cheap of all the whole stress. Yeah, and it was
- 3:59Speaker 3: like almost a circus price and it.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Is really yeah brand new.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Well yeah, we stayed there once.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Yeah, not together, I mean the same day, but the
- 4:07Speaker 3: Conrad one really nice.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Nice.
- 4:09Speaker 1: I keep getting told that like Fountain Blues like can
- 4:11Speaker 1: really big trouble, Like there's just nobody there. It's a
- 4:13Speaker 1: ghost town. So they're offering really huge, these huge.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Deals I go there all the time for events, and yeah,
- 4:19Speaker 2: it's packed when we're there.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean maybe for the event, but yeah, which
- 4:23Speaker 1: is it only makes sense because it's brand new, it's
- 4:25Speaker 1: supposed to be really nice. It's and the only reason
- 4:28Speaker 1: something that new and that nice is really cheap is
- 4:30Speaker 1: because it's you know, yeah, they're just trying to get
- 4:32Speaker 1: people to find it or go there again.
- 4:34Speaker 2: So right now, take advantage of the room before you
- 4:36Speaker 2: can't afford it. Resort. And then I would say, shopping wise, Caesar's,
- 4:42Speaker 2: like Caesars has the best shops. Yeah, so that's a
- 4:46Speaker 2: pretty much my power rankings. I mean, gambling, I can't
- 4:48Speaker 2: really tell you because I don't gamble too much because
- 4:50Speaker 2: I never really win, So I don't know where to
- 4:53Speaker 2: go when it comes to that. But Vegas tries, they
- 4:56Speaker 2: try to say that Vegas is dead.
- 4:57Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Every time I'm there it's packed and every single time,
- 5:00Speaker 2: so I don't know where this is coming from. My
- 5:03Speaker 2: gears though, when I got back after all my travel,
- 5:06Speaker 2: apparently I don't know how keys work, because I was
- 5:09Speaker 2: trying to unlock a dead bolt well or debul that
- 5:13Speaker 2: I recently changed, and the key like was not turning,
- 5:17Speaker 2: and I go, did I lose my key when I
- 5:19Speaker 2: was traveling? Because I went through every single one like
- 5:22Speaker 2: twenty times and I could not open the door. And
- 5:24Speaker 2: then finally I was just about to give up, and
- 5:26Speaker 2: then I tried it one more time and then it
- 5:27Speaker 2: turned and then I was able to Keys are difficult, Yeah,
- 5:33Speaker 2: I don't know, But.
- 5:35Speaker 5: Is it one of those that you have to put
- 5:36Speaker 5: in but like keep a millimeter of space?
- 5:39Speaker 2: Maybe there's like I don't know.
- 5:42Speaker 1: But it's like everything else in your life where your
- 5:43Speaker 1: wife normally is the one who unlocks doors and acts
- 5:46Speaker 1: all your stuff and the cooks all your food. So
- 5:49Speaker 1: when left to your own devices, like I don't know
- 5:52Speaker 1: how to do it, Like the infomercials were like, do
- 5:55Speaker 1: you ever have a problem God people doing the most
- 5:57Speaker 1: simple things and they're like themselves that's okay.
- 6:01Speaker 4: Yeah, And then comes up to.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Another part of my jerrea is when I got back though,
- 6:08Speaker 2: before I went home, I came in to work to
- 6:10Speaker 2: record some things and Sea Bass was here working as well,
- 6:14Speaker 2: so we had a lovely conversation about last Vegas.
- 6:16Speaker 3: That's a cheery Oh you said, cheer you did, That's
- 6:23Speaker 3: what he meant paging doctor Freuod.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Morgan weekend cheers and jeers.
- 6:27Speaker 3: All right, guys, UFC is back, baby.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I was on Paramount.
- 6:32Speaker 3: We had a six week dry spell. The dark ages are.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Over, Okay, so that's true. I saw a post and
- 6:37Speaker 1: they were talking about all the different major sports and
- 6:40Speaker 1: their off season, so like, how long is it from
- 6:43Speaker 1: the last game until you know, training camp or to
- 6:45Speaker 1: the first game of the next season. And they got
- 6:48Speaker 1: to the UFC people and they're like, oh, six weeks,
- 6:51Speaker 1: Like six.
- 6:51Speaker 3: Weeks, best in the world.
- 6:53Speaker 1: They take no breaks, that's it.
- 6:54Speaker 3: And then when they do we complain about it. But yeah,
- 6:57Speaker 3: it's back. It's on Paramount Plus, which I absolutely love.
- 7:00Speaker 3: I've had no issues with it. There's talk online about, oh,
- 7:03Speaker 3: too many ads, blah blah blah. Guess what, people, you're
- 7:05Speaker 3: paying like nine dollars a month, so you're gonna get
- 7:07Speaker 3: ads and I don't have to legally stream it anymore.
- 7:09Speaker 3: So Yeah, it's a great fights too.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Didn't know they took time off. I thought, I know
- 7:16Speaker 1: it was like a seasonal thing.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Just for Christmas. In their backs were baby rip. My
- 7:22Speaker 3: jews is just like depression, man, Like I'm going through it.
- 7:25Speaker 3: My dad's going through it.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Is this the seasonal thing?
- 7:29Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Is it just this time of year.
- 7:32Speaker 3: I don't know, because it's it's hit me late. Maybe
- 7:35Speaker 3: I wasn't getting it in like November December.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Well, no, neither was I up to the I don't
- 7:41Speaker 1: even want it because it's not I I have felt
- 7:44Speaker 1: depression before. I felt that feeling. I felt that it's
- 7:47Speaker 1: because it's not a doom and gloom thing. It's just
- 7:50Speaker 1: like I think the best description I had was the
- 7:52Speaker 1: dream where it's like you want to move or we
- 7:54Speaker 1: want to do but everything's in slow motions, like oh
- 7:56Speaker 1: my god, you just can't get off go. So it's
- 8:00Speaker 1: not a it's not a depression, but you're you're saying
- 8:02Speaker 1: yours is more.
- 8:03Speaker 3: Of a well I've always dealt with depression, a funk depression, yeah,
- 8:06Speaker 3: and I don't. I think it's like we're back in
- 8:08Speaker 3: our schedule, you know, and I'm realizing like, oh, this
- 8:12Speaker 3: is rough. So I don't because there's nothing else bad
- 8:15Speaker 3: in my life.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Well, luckily you don't wear it on your face and
- 8:20Speaker 2: you know.
- 8:21Speaker 3: I'm sorry, but there are I'm gonna cry, there are
- 8:24Speaker 3: people out there. It's just hard.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Yeah, are you one any kind of like a medication
- 8:29Speaker 1: or you in any kind of like you know, you see,
- 8:32Speaker 1: like a therapist or anything like that.
- 8:34Speaker 3: No, I used to Yeah, yeah, well don't cry. I
- 8:40Speaker 3: but if this.
- 8:41Speaker 5: Is something that you just it's part of you, then
- 8:43Speaker 5: like medication ain't bad.
- 8:45Speaker 4: I I can tell you that firsthand.
- 8:47Speaker 3: I had a really bad experience on it.
- 8:48Speaker 4: So yeah, there's so many different kinds.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Well, because then you end up well, yeah, if you
- 8:52Speaker 1: don't do any whether it's therapy, uh, the medication, you'll
- 8:56Speaker 1: you'll end up like medicating otherwise, you know, or doing
- 9:00Speaker 1: something that's not healthy.
- 9:02Speaker 3: To you know, a group. Yeah. I just need to sleep, honestly,
- 9:08Speaker 3: I think that'll fix things. But you mentioned constant like
- 9:11Speaker 3: there is no you.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Mentioned recently that you have this like trainings thing that
- 9:16Speaker 1: goes till nine pm at night. Can't you just change.
- 9:18Speaker 3: That if I go to a different gym. I mean
- 9:21Speaker 3: it's it's much more complicated, Like I choose to train,
- 9:25Speaker 3: so yeah, I am choosing to do that at night.
- 9:31Speaker 3: It's the only thing that makes me happier.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, but I mean you could still train again.
- 9:36Speaker 1: There's got to be And I don't know because it
- 9:39Speaker 1: sounds like there might be something, you know, some kind
- 9:42Speaker 1: of that unbeatable deal or maybe she's banging the trainer
- 9:45Speaker 1: or who knows, who knows what's going on there, but
- 9:47Speaker 1: like there's got to be something where she could do
- 9:50Speaker 1: this at two o'clock in the afternoon and not at
- 9:53Speaker 1: nine pm at night when you have a job where
- 9:55Speaker 1: you get up when we get up.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Yeah, because it's so rough. I remember, I try to
- 10:00Speaker 2: work out in the hours that you were talking about,
- 10:02Speaker 2: and it's just not sustainable at all of this.
- 10:05Speaker 1: So we just decided to not work out.
- 10:08Speaker 3: What I said, But I could find a new gym. Yeah,
- 10:15Speaker 3: I just don't want to. I love my gym.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Yeah, it seems that you really like the people there
- 10:19Speaker 2: and things like that. So yeah.
- 10:20Speaker 3: Yeah. Other than that, you know, shout out to UFC.
- 10:22Speaker 3: We're back, baby.
- 10:24Speaker 5: Something like something's gonna be so we need to, you know,
- 10:28Speaker 5: get out ahead of it so you don't implode.
- 10:30Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, I mean I already am look at me.
- 10:33Speaker 1: I know, geez, I'm sorry.
- 10:35Speaker 3: But like to everyone out there, that's just like going
- 10:37Speaker 3: through the day to day stuff and just trying to
- 10:40Speaker 3: be smiling and.
- 10:41Speaker 4: All that, Like it's hard.
- 10:43Speaker 3: I don't know, I don't know what to say.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm gonna throw this out there and uh, you
- 10:48Speaker 1: know this has nothing. I don't want you to interpret
- 10:51Speaker 1: this the wrong way, you know, because I I love
- 10:55Speaker 1: having you as a part of the show. But if
- 10:59Speaker 1: this is something, if this is what doesn't work for you,
- 11:03Speaker 1: you know, I know a ton of people I'd be
- 11:05Speaker 1: willing to try to help you find something else. Yeah,
- 11:09Speaker 1: like and look, it would it would not be this cool. Oh,
- 11:12Speaker 1: it would not be this fun. And whoever you work
- 11:15Speaker 1: with would totally be I'm sure a bunch of lame
- 11:17Speaker 1: os comparatively, not in life and in the world, but
- 11:20Speaker 1: just in general. Like I don't I don't want to
- 11:22Speaker 1: lose you on the show. But at the same time,
- 11:25Speaker 1: like I want you to know it's like with Benji
- 11:28Speaker 1: and everything, like you know, you guys are you know,
- 11:30Speaker 1: friends first here, not that the company company doesn't care,
- 11:34Speaker 1: no I'm saying, but like you know, here as people
- 11:37Speaker 1: people first, and then it's like.
- 11:40Speaker 3: My gym, Like I don't want to leave here.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Right, No, I do understand that, but like you have
- 11:44Speaker 1: to figure this, you know, I don't want to know
- 11:46Speaker 1: I understand No, no, no, I'm not I'm not saying like,
- 11:48Speaker 1: go get it, I'll get you a job at Costco. Yeah,
- 11:52Speaker 1: you know what I mean. I'm saying, but and and it.
- 11:55Speaker 1: You know, it could mean I'm just throwing those like I.
- 11:58Speaker 1: It might mean like having to move or to you
- 12:01Speaker 1: know whatever, or do something not necessarily you know, in
- 12:05Speaker 1: a in a format or whatever that you love, but
- 12:08Speaker 1: it would still be radio media something like that. Yeah,
- 12:12Speaker 1: but at some point something has to something has to
- 12:15Speaker 1: get figured out, Like you're gonna have to choose if
- 12:18Speaker 1: it's the training and the job are the two most
- 12:20Speaker 1: important things, and they are conflicting in a way where
- 12:23Speaker 1: it makes it so you can't sleep or you can't whatever.
- 12:26Speaker 1: It is something you have to make a tough choice
- 12:29Speaker 1: at some point.
- 12:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:30Speaker 5: It's something my therapist when I used to go to
- 12:32Speaker 5: therapy used to tell me. And I literally just told
- 12:34Speaker 5: the kid this yesterday. You can have anything you want,
- 12:37Speaker 5: but you can't have everything you want. So you can
- 12:40Speaker 5: you can be in this format, and you can do this,
- 12:43Speaker 5: and you can do all of it, but you can't
- 12:44Speaker 5: do all of it together.
- 12:45Speaker 4: It's not it's not working.
- 12:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess I'm just I don't know. I've like
- 12:48Speaker 3: worked my whole life to be in this type of
- 12:51Speaker 3: job and field.
- 12:51Speaker 1: And I'm not anything.
- 12:53Speaker 3: Then you might have never forgive myself for giving up
- 12:55Speaker 3: in my drink.
- 12:56Speaker 4: You might have to switch gyms, you know, you just
- 12:57Speaker 4: have to do something. This is not well.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Can't your current gym just can't you just shift the
- 13:02Speaker 1: schedule there?
- 13:03Speaker 3: I want to pay for private training? No, I mean
- 13:05Speaker 3: they do mornings, which I miss, so I can't go
- 13:08Speaker 3: in the morning.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Yeah, there's plenty of places that are like blocked out
- 13:12Speaker 2: in the middle of the day.
- 13:13Speaker 3: You can only go in the morning or later at night.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Are you holding up a sign that says take a break?
- 13:17Speaker 1: While Morgan sitting here crying.
- 13:25Speaker 2: I'll tell you right now, Alice. I don't want you
- 13:30Speaker 2: to leave, and I don't want you to quit, so
- 13:33Speaker 2: I will sit down and help you figure this out.
- 13:36Speaker 1: For how much is how much is the private training?
- 13:39Speaker 1: What does that cost?
- 13:40Speaker 3: I think it's like one hundred an hour.
- 13:43Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 13:43Speaker 3: I think I don't know.
- 13:45Speaker 4: And do you go for an hour?
- 13:47Speaker 1: No?
- 13:47Speaker 3: I I just pay a membership every month, right, And
- 13:50Speaker 3: like I go to classes, However, mining class I want
- 13:53Speaker 3: to go to they stay late for me if I'm
- 13:55Speaker 3: running late after work.
- 13:56Speaker 1: They offer classes at certain times, so that's why she's
- 13:59Speaker 1: beholden to those times, whereas if it was a private thing,
- 14:02Speaker 1: it would be on schedule. Yeah, so think about that
- 14:07Speaker 1: one pair of panties sold per hour of training.
- 14:11Speaker 3: Maybe that's why I'm depressed. I haven't sold the parent
- 14:13Speaker 3: socks in like three weeks. It's it's I guess it's over.
- 14:19Speaker 4: You're just an I just.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Want to make sure clearly you hear my you know,
- 14:25Speaker 1: offer to you, and also that it's clear that you
- 14:27Speaker 1: know I want you here and I want you to
- 14:30Speaker 1: work here, but I also want you to be you know, happy, healthy,
- 14:35Speaker 1: So you know, I appreciate that. Yeah, Like if you
- 14:38Speaker 1: if you decide that, you know what it would be like,
- 14:42Speaker 1: I still want to work in radio. I still want
- 14:44Speaker 1: to work, Like, let me know, man, and I'll you know,
- 14:46Speaker 1: I'll uh. There's plenty of people that ask me all
- 14:49Speaker 1: the time, like, hey, do you know anybody for X,
- 14:50Speaker 1: Y Z, and uh, so far I have a one
- 14:55Speaker 1: success rate in people that have you know, I've recommended
- 15:00Speaker 1: getting jobs you know, are getting getting something different or something.
- 15:03Speaker 4: But also don't let them know because we love.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Yeah, but I appreciate Okay, all right, we're gonna take

- 15:16Speaker 1: the commercials playing that she is Morgan's well being. That's
- 15:21Speaker 1: really rotten. But okay, it's time to play the smart
- 15:29Speaker 1: ass game, a sexual game you could play. It's get
- 15:32Speaker 1: in the party game section of Wherever you Go and
- 15:34Speaker 1: Amazon of course, but like if you go to Target,
- 15:36Speaker 1: they have it, like where all the other board games
- 15:38Speaker 1: so far, And we played just a little bit differently,
- 15:41Speaker 1: same basic idea. It's a who what where? And then
- 15:46Speaker 1: there's a hard ass category, like a tie breaker category,
- 15:52Speaker 1: but we put two people head to head and it
- 15:55Speaker 1: all starts with a very generic clue and then I'm
- 15:59Speaker 1: a country. Yeah, and then they get more you know,
- 16:02Speaker 1: more specific and narrows it down as it goes on,
- 16:05Speaker 1: and then the last one is like super easy and
- 16:07Speaker 1: usually by the time somebody's got it, first person with
- 16:09Speaker 1: two points the way that we play will win the game.
- 16:12Speaker 1: And we have decided that it's going to be dumb
- 16:16Speaker 1: ass Tyler and menace Y. Yeah, so they spend a
- 16:21Speaker 1: lot of time together, and so why not just have them,
- 16:24Speaker 1: you know, spend even more time now with this this
- 16:27Speaker 1: game battling it out now.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Don't we have a caveat our rules where if somebody
- 16:33Speaker 2: gets it wrong they just have to sit out one question?
- 16:35Speaker 1: Yes, right, because otherwise it's just a free for all. Yeah,
- 16:38Speaker 1: or a gimme I should say yeah, all right? So,
