- 2:22Speaker 2: the Renaissance Kesselprime dot Com. To make a reservation, this
- 2:27Speaker 2: is one O five to nine the Zone ESPN, So
- 2:30Speaker 2: we went over. That was fun. We just spent twenty
- 2:34Speaker 2: five minutes. Where did national championship coaches come from? And
- 2:38Speaker 2: basically after bar two went through a bunch of them.
- 2:41Speaker 2: They come from anywhere, right, and they don't have to.
- 2:44Speaker 2: But we in sports, as guys, we like to put people,
- 2:48Speaker 2: we do it in life too, in boxes, and this
- 2:50Speaker 2: is the only way it can be done right, right, And.
- 2:52Speaker 3: Then it's it's kind of like quarterbacks with the draft.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Oh oh, of our great quarterbacks come from great brands
- 2:58Speaker 3: in college football.
- 3:00Speaker 2: No they don't, No, no, they don't. You know.
- 3:02Speaker 3: Aaron Rodgers was it Shasta Community College and Jeff Tedford
- 3:07Speaker 3: was there to see somebody else. And let me tell you, folks,
- 3:11Speaker 3: Shasta Community College that is middle of nowhere is really
- 3:15Speaker 3: west Yeah, I mean it is way up there. It's
- 3:19Speaker 3: There's so Shasta is probably a million people, folks. So
- 3:25Speaker 3: from Sacramento, Shasta is probably not within four and a
- 3:28Speaker 3: half hour drive of a million people in population. Okay, okay,
- 3:33Speaker 3: So I mean it's it's like and.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Aaron Rodgers went to community college and then the mighty
- 3:38Speaker 2: powerhouse of cal Berkeley.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Yep, right, and look at where these other you know,
- 3:43Speaker 3: Drew Breesdue, you know, where to keep Matt Ryan, Josh College,
- 3:48Speaker 3: Josh Allen, yep, oh yeah, Lamar Jackson. And then you
- 3:53Speaker 3: start looking at the perspective of everything and it's like, wow,
- 3:57Speaker 3: these guys.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Are just.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Louisville, col Berkeley. Elite can come from anywhere.
- 4:02Speaker 2: That's exactly.
- 4:03Speaker 3: That's why they're elite, because they're so rare and they're
- 4:06Speaker 3: impossible to find.
- 4:08Speaker 2: They just appear. Where did the most elite musicians and
- 4:11Speaker 2: storytellers come from? The Mississippi Delta? I mean, that's we
- 4:16Speaker 2: can tie it in here locally in two seconds. The
- 4:19Speaker 2: Dancing Rabbit golf text line is six oh one eight
- 4:22Speaker 2: eight five three seven seven six. We've got a listener. Bo.
- 4:27Speaker 2: What did Bar two eat at Philip EM's last night? Yes,
- 4:31Speaker 2: so Bar two at Philip Ems we started with saffron
- 4:34Speaker 2: chowder and then Bar two went with the New York
- 4:36Speaker 2: Strip and it was glorious, medium, rare New York strip.
- 4:39Speaker 3: I was I was kind of waffling between we both
- 4:41Speaker 3: were the Rabbi and the and the strip.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Yeah, but those were the tough debates that we were having.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Oh yeah, and it was a debate. It was a debate.
- 4:53Speaker 3: You know, our poor server. She's like, she's so sweet,
- 4:58Speaker 3: she's she's she's.
- 4:59Speaker 2: One of my buddies. She's awesome.
- 5:01Speaker 3: Yeah, and it was like no, but I'll take another drink,
- 5:03Speaker 3: but we're not ready to eat yet.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Yeah. Uh. We we had a great conversation about bourbon
- 5:11Speaker 2: and life and all kinds of good times. I mean
- 5:13Speaker 2: that was three hours of you and I catching up
- 5:16Speaker 2: that we really hadn't been able to do or really
- 5:18Speaker 2: since I like we were in the car going to
- 5:20Speaker 2: meet with Dan years ago. So we were in the
- 5:23Speaker 2: car for two hours up, two hours back driving going
- 5:25Speaker 2: to Pearl River Resort to start felling. I'm like, this
- 5:29Speaker 2: is it.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Yeah, it's one blinking yellow dude, but it's a beautiful place.
- 5:34Speaker 3: And then the campus just spreads out and it's like,
- 5:37Speaker 3: I'm like, wow, it's cool here, man.
- 5:40Speaker 2: I love college football. Well, you got to go to
- 5:43Speaker 2: the sealed building, right, It had not been opened for
- 5:45Speaker 2: more than like a couple of months weeks. Yeah, mean,
- 5:50Speaker 2: we were well, we were there were still people moving
- 5:53Speaker 2: things when we were walking down the hall and we
- 5:55Speaker 2: saw Tim Brewster and Jeff Collins and Tony was in
- 6:00Speaker 2: John Hebissey and Billy Gonzalez and all these guys, they're
- 6:04Speaker 2: moving like stuff. Oh yeah, I mean, well I was staying.
- 6:07Speaker 3: I mean we were we were in the weight room
- 6:09Speaker 3: and I'm standing there with with with Ballard.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Oh big Ballard right, Indianapolis Cult.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Yeah, and I was just like, you know, and me
- 6:16Speaker 3: and him were like, you were talking to somebody else.
- 6:19Speaker 2: I think you were talking to Brewster. Brewster was on
- 6:21Speaker 2: the hunt. Remember he had he had the big he
- 6:24Speaker 2: had some big Juco d live.
- 6:26Speaker 3: Yeah, and he's like, you know, and he was like, man,
- 6:28Speaker 3: you know, he was focused right right, he was dialed in.
- 6:31Speaker 3: And then Vic and I were over in the weight
- 6:32Speaker 3: room and it was cool because the doors were up
- 6:34Speaker 3: out to the new grass and I mean the whole
- 6:37Speaker 3: place smelled like a new car.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Still.
- 6:38Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, and yeah, that was that was awesome.
- 6:43Speaker 3: I mean, I just I love being on college campuses. Yeah,
- 6:47Speaker 3: it doesn't matter where it is. I mean, I know
- 6:48Speaker 3: we all have rivalries and everything, but man, college football,
- 6:51Speaker 3: college campuses, college towns, I just it just never gets
- 6:56Speaker 3: old for me, just never gets old.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Day bar two on the Farm Bureau Insurance Guess Line
- 7:00Speaker 2: and We're Love from Dancing Rabbit Golf club. Now, before
- 7:04Speaker 2: we went to break, I asked you if you if
- 7:06Speaker 2: you had to pick between John David Baker and Jeff
- 7:09Speaker 2: Levy as an offensive coordinator, you would go John David Baker.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Yes, I would, And you know, kind of judging by
- 7:17Speaker 3: you your tone, it's like, well why right, right?
- 7:19Speaker 2: You know.
- 7:20Speaker 3: And so for me when I talk about it on
- 7:23Speaker 3: the on the show a lot is I'm a natural
- 7:26Speaker 3: pessimist and I always look at the risk side on
- 7:29Speaker 3: the bottom side, right, And so I would just simply go, Okay,
- 7:32Speaker 3: Levy Baker, what's the floor? Okay, well, yeah, you know,
- 7:36Speaker 3: and what's my ceiling? And my ceiling is one elite
- 7:41Speaker 3: year at Oklahoma with elite talent versus not top twenty
- 7:46Speaker 3: five talent in the Big twelve, right, and and then
- 7:50Speaker 3: the bottom end of that we saw the bottom end
- 7:52Speaker 3: of the offense was twenty twenty four with State, in
- 7:57Speaker 3: twenty twenty two with Oklahoma, and then over it at
- 8:00Speaker 3: East Carolina. And I'm not saying John David is that
- 8:03Speaker 3: much better right now, because our sample size, we don't
- 8:06Speaker 3: really have a floor, right. You know, he was good
- 8:09Speaker 3: last year, not great. His first year was really good,
- 8:12Speaker 3: but it was extremely up tempo, and he's not going
- 8:15Speaker 3: to be able to do that in the SEC right right.
- 8:17Speaker 3: He's key that there's too much athleticism when you try
- 8:19Speaker 3: to play speed. There's too much speed on the field.
- 8:23Speaker 3: I think for the SEC. That's why you have to
- 8:25Speaker 3: have a running game. You can't go all pass. You've
- 8:29Speaker 3: got to be able to control tempo and and be
- 8:32Speaker 3: able to move players around, not just go go fast
- 8:36Speaker 3: because the athleticism will catch up to you. So that's
- 8:39Speaker 3: why it's more about the floor than the ceiling in
- 8:41Speaker 3: terms of the risk.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Would either one of them be considered a top fifty
- 8:46Speaker 2: offensive coordinator right now? Yes? No, I didn't know. No.
- 8:50Speaker 3: Well, I mean to John David in our in our
- 8:52Speaker 3: grading system, he's only been doing it for two years.
- 8:53Speaker 3: So you wouldn't have a grade, Okay, you know I wouldn't.
- 8:56Speaker 3: I wouldn't be good or bad about him. I would
- 8:58Speaker 3: just say, look, here's the trend that he's going at
- 9:02Speaker 3: right now. But then if you look at Jeff just
- 9:04Speaker 3: been a play caller for four years right two at
- 9:06Speaker 3: Oklahoma to a Mississippi State. Okay, so he has two
- 9:09Speaker 3: years outside the top seventy five one at Oklahoma, one
- 9:12Speaker 3: Mississippi State last year.
- 9:14Speaker 2: I don't know what his is. You tell me he
- 9:15Speaker 2: finished it at sixtieth with the justice schedule. Yeah.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Actually, I have an entirely new way of grading guys too,
- 9:24Speaker 3: and I will pull that up right now.
- 9:25Speaker 2: I'm asking the system. Yeah, I gotta take a break.
- 9:28Speaker 2: That's a perfect timing. So this is a good tease,
- 9:30Speaker 2: all right. So and Jackson Meadows just said you got
- 9:33Speaker 2: to get out. So we're live from Dancing Rabbit Golf
- 9:36Speaker 2: Club on the property of Pearl River Rest Resort. The
- 9:39Speaker 2: show is powered by ricks Pro Truck Baby spraying bedliners,
- 9:44Speaker 2: lift kits, tires and wheels. Three locations RPT trucks live
- 9:50Speaker 2: here and we're off out of bounds. ESPN one oh
- 10:17Speaker 2: five nine The Zone, Big Big giveaway two rounds of
- 10:20Speaker 2: golf to Dancing Rabbit Golf Club and a night at
- 10:23Speaker 2: the Golden Moon Hotel. Obviously, the casino is on the
- 10:27Speaker 2: first floor with the Vegas Style sportsbook. Here's how you
- 10:32Speaker 2: enter and you could win on the Dancing Rabbit Golf
- 10:34Speaker 2: text line six oh one eight eight five three, seven,
- 10:38Speaker 2: seven six. We'd like to know are you listening on
- 10:41Speaker 2: one oh five nine The Zone or streaming the show.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Where are you listening from? And who's your team? And
- 10:51Speaker 2: what is your prediction for your team? Eleven and one,
- 10:57Speaker 2: twelve and zero? Which way we go in here for
- 11:03Speaker 2: for your team? So six to oho one, eight, eight, five, three, seven, seven,
- 11:07Speaker 2: six and bar two. We were talking about John David
- 11:11Speaker 2: Baker and Jeff Levy and top fifty offensive coordinators going
- 11:17Speaker 2: into the break. Do you have some numbers for our
- 11:21Speaker 2: beautiful listeners?
- 11:21Speaker 3: There're they're still pulling right now. Okay, cool, But here
- 11:25Speaker 3: here I'm gonna I want to hit on one guy
- 11:27Speaker 3: that has been a thorn in the side of the
- 11:30Speaker 3: fan base for seemingly a few years, and that's Mike Bobo.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:35Speaker 3: I got his numbers here and he's been at Georgia
- 11:39Speaker 3: for three years now. And by my calculations the way
- 11:42Speaker 3: I do things, I look at three main things that
- 11:46Speaker 3: drive football momentum, game control, scoring efficiency, and expected points
- 11:53Speaker 3: above above average so EPA, those are the big three.
- 11:56Speaker 3: And and with Mike his first year at Georgia, he
- 12:01Speaker 3: was seventh in the country and all that right, And
- 12:04Speaker 3: we've talked about this, you got to be top three
- 12:06Speaker 3: in anything to win a national title. The last twenty
- 12:09Speaker 3: five years so he's seventh on offense, but then two
- 12:12Speaker 3: years ago he was twelve, and last year it slipped
- 12:15Speaker 3: a thirteen. So we all know that in the SEC,
- 12:18Speaker 3: everybody's expectations are sky high, right, And so with Mike,
- 12:23Speaker 3: he's still performing at a good level, but it's been
- 12:26Speaker 3: a little bit of a regression each year relative to
- 12:30Speaker 3: those national championship years with Mancoin Todd Monkin, right, and
- 12:36Speaker 3: so who's now at the Cleveland Browns, Right, So he's
- 12:41Speaker 3: the head coach. He is the head coach. He is
- 12:43Speaker 3: the head coach. And you know, it's sometimes when I
- 12:48Speaker 3: text with him back and forth, it's like it's it's
- 12:51Speaker 3: like going to the college, back to the to the
- 12:53Speaker 3: NFL and then the NFL staffing. When we talk about staffing,
- 12:56Speaker 3: the decision paradigm between college and the NFL.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Is everybody listening.
- 13:03Speaker 3: You got to understand in the NFL, you think college
- 13:05Speaker 3: football is myopic and next fan up and Buddy hires
- 13:09Speaker 3: the NFL there is so much pressure to hire somebody
- 13:13Speaker 3: else's best friend. It is insane up there. I mean,
- 13:18Speaker 3: you want to talk about a bunch of just I mean,
- 13:20Speaker 3: it is just it's the NFL. It is a different, different,
- 13:25Speaker 3: beast when it comes down to staffing and relationships. I
- 13:28Speaker 3: thought it was going to be better. It is not
- 13:30Speaker 3: better than college football.
- 13:32Speaker 2: It is. It is much much worse. So I describe
- 13:37Speaker 2: a little bit better. So give me an example. You
- 13:40Speaker 2: don't have to give me a team. No, to give
- 13:42Speaker 2: me an example.
- 13:43Speaker 3: An assistant GM that that really likes bow Bounds and
- 13:46Speaker 3: I am the head coach. I don't like him. I
- 13:49Speaker 3: don't like anything about him. I don't like his attitude.
- 13:52Speaker 3: I don't think he's a good coach. But my assistant
- 13:54Speaker 3: GM wants him on the staff, and I'm I'm.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Just like, okay. So that there.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Because gms helped build rosters right the NFL level. What
- 14:05Speaker 3: a lot of head coaches, you know, they don't even
- 14:06Speaker 3: have a saying anything, and some of them don't even
- 14:08Speaker 3: care to. So they're building rosters. You also have the
- 14:11Speaker 3: GM profiles that are saying, hey, here's how you staff
- 14:13Speaker 3: your guys too. And you know, look at look at
- 14:18Speaker 3: Jerry Jones hiring flues. Okay, by the numbers, it was
- 14:23Speaker 3: a terrible higher, right, Jerry Jones worst GM and call
- 14:26Speaker 3: in professional sports, and he he made he made the
- 14:30Speaker 3: eber Flues higher.
- 14:31Speaker 2: We know it right.
- 14:32Speaker 3: I mean, even though Schottenheimer is not going to throw
- 14:34Speaker 3: him under the bus. We know Eberflues was a Jerry
- 14:36Speaker 3: Jones guy. But by the numbers, ibra Flus's defenses at UH,
- 14:41Speaker 3: at Indianapolis, and at Chicago regressed every year. And my
- 14:45Speaker 3: calculations had Dallas at best the twenty five best defense
- 14:49Speaker 3: in the NFL before the season started last year. Now
- 14:52Speaker 3: he ended up thirty second, right right, you know, and
- 14:56Speaker 3: and and and and and and him and Colblin were
- 14:59Speaker 3: armors and for the worst defense in the seven.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Oh Coleman Hudler. Yeah, yeah, worst defensive coordinator in the
- 15:05Speaker 2: history of Mississippi State.
- 15:06Speaker 3: Oh god, they did that twenty twenty four.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Bad throw them over the boat.
- 15:12Speaker 3: So but but Jerry made that higher, right, that's a
- 15:15Speaker 3: that's a GM telling the head coach, this is the
- 15:18Speaker 3: guy you're hiring, right right? You could you you know,
- 15:23Speaker 3: could you imagine Keith Carter telling, you know, gold Pe Golding,
- 15:29Speaker 3: here's here's a new OC.
- 15:30Speaker 2: No, that's not.
- 15:31Speaker 3: Right, but see that the inner workings of the NFL
- 15:34Speaker 3: is is just a little bit different, right, you know,
- 15:36Speaker 3: it's it's much more connective, it's much more, much more
- 15:39Speaker 3: who you know. So John David Baker, though by his
- 15:43Speaker 3: by his numbers last year and the year before, actually
- 15:48Speaker 3: we're remarkably consistent. I think one of the best things
- 15:51Speaker 3: pre John David Baker at ECU. ECU was number one
- 15:55Speaker 3: nineteen out of one hundred and thirty six in offense
- 15:57Speaker 3: by my three metrics ECU. So and John David Baker
- 16:00Speaker 3: took over at ECU that twenty twenty three that offense
- 16:04Speaker 3: was trash. Okay, absolutely trash. So give him credit, yeah,
- 16:09Speaker 3: for rebooting the offense overnight, right and then and then
- 16:12Speaker 3: actually maintaining it. Okay, because his points per possession year one,
- 16:20Speaker 3: and this is not adjusted for talent, I'm assuming ECU
- 16:25Speaker 3: is probably in the nineties, eighties or nineties in talent.
- 16:28Speaker 3: So when when he posted a sixty eight in scoring efficiency,
- 16:34Speaker 3: that's way above talent. Okay, Okay, he was sixty fifth
- 16:38Speaker 3: in game control and momentum development, the most important number
- 16:42Speaker 3: in college but wall he was sixty fifth. He was
- 16:44Speaker 3: fifty fifth last year, even though his scoring efficiency and
- 16:48Speaker 3: explosiveness dropped to eighty eight. So his ability to generate
- 16:52Speaker 3: momentum and game control is his best quality as an
- 16:57Speaker 3: offensive coordinator and for his two years, his average his
- 17:01Speaker 3: average ranking was about sixty okay, relative to the you know,
- 17:05Speaker 3: relative to the talent, right, right, we got to go
- 17:07Speaker 3: back to the talent talent they had, and then you
- 17:10Speaker 3: flipped over and we look at Jeff and so at Oklahoma,
- 17:19Speaker 3: his high his best season was sixteenth in in momentum
- 17:26Speaker 3: and game control, tenth in points per play. So his
- 17:30Speaker 3: scoring efficiency was really good. Mississippi State the last two years, okay,
- 17:35Speaker 3: it was thirty eighth and now forty eighth in twenty
- 17:39Speaker 3: twenty five. So offensively the numbers have been there actually
- 17:43Speaker 3: pretty good. I mean, you and I both know State
- 17:46Speaker 3: recruits in the mid twenties to the mid thirties, right,
- 17:48Speaker 3: that's kind of their range bound recruiting. That's their ban,
- 17:51Speaker 3: and so to have an offense in the thirties and
- 17:53Speaker 3: forties is a little bit under the actual talent. But
- 17:59Speaker 3: given those numbers, we just need an average defense right
- 18:03Speaker 3: at State to be six and six, seven and five.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Yeah, if you'd have had Zach Arnett level defense the
- 18:10Speaker 2: last two years and Coleman Hutzler finished outside the top
- 18:13Speaker 2: one hundred, and defensive scoring efficiency in both years is DC.
- 18:18Speaker 2: So if you'd ha had somebody just finished between sixtieth
- 18:21Speaker 2: and eightieth. You're looking at probably Levy is sitting here
- 18:26Speaker 2: with a thirteen and twelve or twelve and thirteen overall
- 18:30Speaker 2: record and a couple more wins in conference play instead
- 18:34Speaker 2: of being one in fifteen, and people aren't in total
- 18:37Speaker 2: freak out mode, right, you know.
- 18:38Speaker 3: Twenty twenty four, let's just throw the film away right there.
- 18:40Speaker 3: There's nothing redeeming about. It's the worst season in.
- 18:43Speaker 2: The history of my lifetime. And they've had some last year.
- 18:46Speaker 3: Look at if tempo had been controlled, if we had
- 18:49Speaker 3: a better tempo control and better game control offensively and defensively.
- 18:53Speaker 3: You know, yeah, you had to come back miracle win
- 18:56Speaker 3: against Arizona State, right, right, So maybe you throw that
- 18:59Speaker 3: one back and say we didn't deserve to win that
- 19:01Speaker 3: fair enough, but with good game control and good defensive control,
- 19:04Speaker 3: do you beat Texas?
- 19:05Speaker 2: Yes? Do you beat Florida? Yes? You beat Tennessee? Yes?
- 19:08Speaker 1: Wow?
- 19:09Speaker 3: I mean the narrative in those three games, you flip
- 19:12Speaker 3: flop those four games. You take the Arizona State loss, right,
- 19:14Speaker 3: you would take that loss for a Texas, Florida Tennessee
- 19:17Speaker 3: win in a heartbeat.
- 19:19Speaker 2: The Texas game, I think cost Levy and the Texas
- 19:23Speaker 2: game I think costs the university thirty to forty million dollars.
- 19:26Speaker 2: We got to take a break. We got the big
- 19:29Speaker 2: sec inside our head. Coming up next, I want to
- 19:31Speaker 2: continue to discuss this day. Bar two on the Out
- 19:34Speaker 2: of Bounds Show brought to you by RPT and Rix

- 21:06Speaker 2: the Zone, Dave bar two joining us on the show.
- 21:11Speaker 2: I'm your host, bo Bounds straight funk running the Uh
- 21:15Speaker 2: he's flying the plane. And because bar two and I
- 21:18Speaker 2: are on remote at Dancing Rabbit Golf Club, I think
- 21:21Speaker 2: the I think the iPad moved again. Unbelievable. We are
- 21:26Speaker 2: on remoted Dancing Rabbit. I need a bloody mary. Uh.
- 21:30Speaker 2: What is going on? Uh, Dancing Rabbit Golf Club, Dancing
- 21:34Speaker 2: Rabbit goolf dot com to book your stay and play.
- 21:37Speaker 2: We were doing a well. We did a segment or
- 21:41Speaker 2: so on John David Baker and Jeff Levy and the
- 21:45Speaker 2: numbers are better for John David Baker as OC.
- 21:48Speaker 3: A little a little bit, a little bit. Again, like
- 21:51Speaker 3: I said, the floor is what concerns me.
- 21:54Speaker 2: With Levy, with because he's had two stinkers in four years.
- 21:59Speaker 3: You know, And again is depends on how you know
- 22:03Speaker 3: beauty in the eye of the beholder, you know, on
- 22:06Speaker 3: something like that, you know how how much of a
- 22:09Speaker 3: stinker they are.
- 22:10Speaker 2: So I do think a six foot four, two hundred
- 22:12Speaker 2: and thirty pound quarterback who can actually run in his
- 22:16Speaker 2: mobile and has the ability to extend plays and by
- 22:20Speaker 2: time could make Jeff Levi's numbers a little bit better,
- 22:27Speaker 2: a lot better.
- 22:28Speaker 3: And you look inside the numbers. He wants to run
- 22:30Speaker 3: the ball, right right, I mean, which is a good thing.
- 22:33Speaker 3: You know, it's a great thing, especially in the SEC.
- 22:35Speaker 3: You know, you look at your you look at your
- 22:38Speaker 3: best offensive play callers in the SEC. You're successful guys, Okay,
- 22:43Speaker 3: and you know, now last year, I will give you
- 22:47Speaker 3: Vanderbilt was running a passing game in Pavia. Okay, But
- 22:52Speaker 3: you go after that, and I don't know how long
- 22:55Speaker 3: that sort of offense is sustainable at Vanderbilt, right right,
- 22:59Speaker 3: And so you look at bigger samples.
- 23:01Speaker 2: But what they did, I think is they did what
- 23:05Speaker 2: worked for Diego. So give Tim Beck and Jerry kill credit, right.
- 23:10Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, you know they morphed into what he could do, Yeah,
- 23:14Speaker 3: what they felt he could do. But then you look
- 23:17Speaker 3: at your much much better sample sizes, your your your
- 23:22Speaker 3: guys have been doing a long time, right uh. And
- 23:26Speaker 3: you look at Hypel loves to pound the run, Okay.
- 23:30Speaker 3: You look at Lane Kiffen. We talked about it. We
- 23:33Speaker 3: talked about it yesterday, third, medium, third and long. He
- 23:37Speaker 3: had more runs run pass ratio, more runs than anybody.
- 23:41Speaker 2: Else in the SEC. Let's say that again, right, Lane
- 23:44Speaker 2: Kiffen third and short.
- 23:46Speaker 3: Third medium, so third and three to four, five and six,
- 23:51Speaker 3: third and seventy nine tens. Oh, he had more third
- 23:54Speaker 3: and eleven plus his rush to pass ratio. His percentage
- 23:58Speaker 3: was the highest in the SEC and all of those category.
- 24:00Speaker 2: That tells me Lane's playing two downs at third down.
- 24:03Speaker 2: So he's like, Hey, if we can rip off six here,
- 24:07Speaker 2: then I'm going forward on fourth and three. Yeah, and
- 24:10Speaker 2: we may run it again.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Yeah, and I haven't run his numbers on fourth down, right,
- 24:14Speaker 3: that would be really the big question.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Share you know what really you know?
- 24:20Speaker 3: Is he playing for two like that? What we did
- 24:22Speaker 3: discover though, is in his tempo is he is very methodical.
- 24:27Speaker 3: In the first he is much more under control than
- 24:30Speaker 3: a lot of guys. First, second, third quarter tempo is
- 24:33Speaker 3: pretty much the same thing. Stays in the game or
- 24:37Speaker 3: just naturally takes the lead, and then fourth quarter starts
- 24:41Speaker 3: to push the tempo, push the pressure and ramp it up.
- 24:46Speaker 3: Whether he's leading or trailing, it almost seems like he
- 24:51Speaker 3: just starts putting on the gas to either catch up
- 24:53Speaker 3: and win a game or finish somebody off and take
- 24:57Speaker 3: the game because as we know, in the sec you played, lose,
- 25:00Speaker 3: you're going to lose, right, right, Yeah, yes, that's what
- 25:03Speaker 3: you have to go get the dub, right especially on
- 25:05Speaker 3: the road you got you you have to try to
- 25:08Speaker 3: make it happen in that manner.
- 25:10Speaker 2: So and he was. He lost one home game in
- 25:14Speaker 2: the last three years of his time in Oxford. He
- 25:20Speaker 2: lost to Kentucky. That's it. So that is that's incredible
- 25:25Speaker 2: defending your home field and losing one time in three years. Right,
- 25:29Speaker 2: there's that.
- 25:31Speaker 3: And the one of the big reasons he lost to
- 25:33Speaker 3: Kentucky is he could not find the momentum game control
- 25:36Speaker 3: he needed. So in his career, when he doesn't have
- 25:40Speaker 3: momentum game control in his possession for the game, he
- 25:43Speaker 3: doesn't have peak game control. He is one in sixteen,
- 25:47Speaker 3: so he has to find it somewhere in the first
- 25:51Speaker 3: you know, somewhere in the game. He has to find
- 25:54Speaker 3: that that momentum. He doesn't recover from it, neither is Kirby.
- 25:57Speaker 3: Kirby only has one win in his career when he
- 25:59Speaker 3: doesn't have peak game control. So but with Kiffen, I
- 26:04Speaker 3: do love the numbers showing that he is when he
- 26:07Speaker 3: is leading in the fourth quarter, he actually picks the
- 26:10Speaker 3: tempo up to put more pressure on a team to
- 26:15Speaker 3: try to stay with him. You know, but I think
- 26:18Speaker 3: that is his experience, that's an experienced play call or
- 26:21Speaker 3: knowing that you know, in this scenario, I can put
- 26:25Speaker 3: more pressure and try to force mistakes by running the game,
- 26:29Speaker 3: you know, in the manner that he calls it.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Day bar two on the Out of Bound Show live
- 26:35Speaker 2: from Dancing Rabbit Golf Club. This is ESPN one oh
- 26:39Speaker 2: five nine The Zone. It is crazy that for decades
- 26:42Speaker 2: we didn't talk about play callers. And now how much
- 26:46Speaker 2: you and I talk about it, how many great and
- 26:48Speaker 2: you have grades on everybody, and how important it is
- 26:51Speaker 2: as inn oc and DC and then you decided whatever
- 26:54Speaker 2: that was, to really put an emphasis on red zone
- 26:59Speaker 2: play calling. Right, Ray, can you punch? I mean, can
- 27:02Speaker 2: you get points?
- 27:03Speaker 3: Right? You know, there's a convert's It's like explosive plays.
- 27:06Speaker 3: Everybody talks about explosive plays, and explosive plays is actually
- 27:10Speaker 3: split into two important categories, non scoring and scoring. Right,
- 27:14Speaker 3: if you lead an if you lead an explosive scoring plays,
- 27:18Speaker 3: you're winning eighty plus percent of the games.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Right, leading in.
- 27:22Speaker 3: Non scoring explosive plays, especially when you're on the road.
- 27:26Speaker 3: In college football, you only win about fifty five percent
- 27:28Speaker 3: of the time. Okay, so there is a huge difference
- 27:31Speaker 3: between that scoring explosive scoring play and punching it in
- 27:35Speaker 3: and just the explosive scoring play. Ben don't break, you know, I.
- 27:39Speaker 2: Feel like the last couple of years, every and I'm
- 27:42Speaker 2: my eyes our eyes fullest, right, we think we know
- 27:45Speaker 2: what we're seeing on game day, But I feel like
- 27:48Speaker 2: as I watch Lane Kiffin that every time, not every time,
- 27:54Speaker 2: there's like a large percent of the time, which would
- 27:56Speaker 2: even be like twenty to thirty percent, but it feels
- 27:59Speaker 2: like thirty forty fifty that people are just running wide
- 28:02Speaker 2: open when he calls plays. Yeah, I know I'm going overboard,
- 28:06Speaker 2: but it feels like that, like all of a sudden,
- 28:10Speaker 2: he calls a play and there's a wide receiver tied
- 28:14Speaker 2: end wide open. Yeah.
- 28:16Speaker 3: It just it just it's you don't know what the
- 28:18Speaker 3: numbers are. You just feel that he has more guys
- 28:21Speaker 3: get wide open right than than you know. And so
- 28:24Speaker 3: somewhere in the design right and the coaching of his offense,
- 28:28Speaker 3: he's able to get the guys wide open in the
- 28:30Speaker 3: structure of the game.
- 28:31Speaker 2: But you remember what we talked about last night at
- 28:34Speaker 2: Philip Ems is also the players absolutely believe that those
- 28:37Speaker 2: play plays are going to work. And there is something to.
- 28:40Speaker 3: That, right They're they're the mental component right there, the
- 28:43Speaker 3: intangible like you can't put a number.
- 28:45Speaker 2: On it, like we're good and we know we call that.
- 28:48Speaker 2: Our coach calls all these good plays and I'm going
- 28:50Speaker 2: to be open, right and the quarterback is going to
- 28:52Speaker 2: deliver the football right and I'm going to catch it
- 28:55Speaker 2: right right, you know.
- 28:56Speaker 3: And so it's it's it's complimentary football, right, I mean,
- 28:59Speaker 3: you have the offense has to support the defense. The
- 29:02Speaker 3: defense has to support the offense because the scoreboard is
- 29:05Speaker 3: equal on both sides, right, Well, the home team doesn't
- 29:08Speaker 3: get eight points for a.
- 29:09Speaker 2: Touchdown, they still get seven, right, right, you know. And so.
- 29:14Speaker 3: You know, it's that emphasis on complimentary football and then
- 29:17Speaker 3: the emphasis on being able to trust the teammates. You
- 29:21Speaker 3: have to have everybody all on the same page for
- 29:24Speaker 3: that full strength. It's the same thing with your program.
- 29:27Speaker 3: You have to have the fans believe the head coach.
- 29:29Speaker 3: You have, the staff has to believe the head coach,
- 29:31Speaker 3: the boosters, the players, everybody has to believe in the
- 29:35Speaker 3: culture and concept to be at maximum power.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Which is what happened under Kiffen and Mullen. Yeah at
- 29:40Speaker 2: Ole Miss even more so with Kiffen and Olmen. But
- 29:43Speaker 2: that's what happened in Oxford with Kithen and then start
- 29:47Speaker 2: Right and struggle with Dan to take it local. Right?
- 29:49Speaker 3: Did everybody believe that when Dan or Lane walked on
- 29:52Speaker 3: the field there there there probably came a point where
- 29:55Speaker 3: you were in that stadium and you're like, everybody is
- 29:59Speaker 3: one on the same page and believes we're gonna win today, right,
- 30:03Speaker 3: everybody right, I mean from the from the eighty to
- 30:06Speaker 3: the president, to the biggest boosters in the box, to
- 30:08Speaker 3: the band students to the band to the third string guys.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Everybody is like, this is.
- 30:13Speaker 3: What we are going to do to win this football game, right,
- 30:16Speaker 3: And to me, it's just it's all that has to
- 30:18Speaker 3: be connected.
- 30:19Speaker 2: Are two Matrix Analytical on the Out of Bounds Show
- 30:22Speaker 2: driven by your next GMC Sierra GMC Sierra Truck. What
- 30:29Speaker 2: a great selection Fouler Fouler Fowler, GMC, Pearl Brandon hit
- 30:33Speaker 2: their website right now FOWLERGMC dot com. If you were
- 30:37Speaker 2: picking one O C from the league today, currently SEC,
- 30:43Speaker 2: including Lane. I'm counting Lane as an OC. You can
- 30:46Speaker 2: count Weiss as one too, I don't care, but I'm
- 30:48Speaker 2: counting Lane as an OC. So between Lane, Hypo and Sark,
- 30:52Speaker 2: and there may be one more that you would throw in.
- 30:54Speaker 2: But between Lane, Hypel and Sark, who you I don't
- 31:05Speaker 2: know on that one.
- 31:06Speaker 3: My my, my my, just splitting hairs by yeah, I
- 31:08Speaker 3: think we're really splitting hairs. I think it would depend
- 31:10Speaker 3: on the personnel and what you were trying to run,
- 31:15Speaker 3: you know, my my, my gut says you go with Lane, right,
- 31:20Speaker 3: if we're trying to win one football game. None of
- 31:26Speaker 3: none of them have been in a situation where they've
- 31:29Speaker 3: had to really win the big games on their play calling.
- 31:36Speaker 3: And when they have been in the situation, they haven't,
- 31:39Speaker 3: you know, like Sark in the playoffs. I mean, you know,
- 31:42Speaker 3: he's had a couple of games, but none of them
- 31:44Speaker 3: really have huge game experience.
- 31:47Speaker 2: Well, he had no business losing to Washington the way
- 31:49Speaker 2: that they recruit compared to the way that Washington recruits,
- 31:51Speaker 2: and in the in the National semi final game.
- 31:53Speaker 3: Right and they almost lost Arizona State right before that.
- 31:56Speaker 2: Well, he tried to give Kenny Dillingham, Sam Levitt and
- 31:59Speaker 2: Cam's Kataboo the game, which I was just bizarro war.
- 32:04Speaker 2: I was like, I am evidently Bar two did send
- 32:07Speaker 2: me crazy pills, see, and it wasn't crazy.
- 32:10Speaker 3: It was funny because I remember we entered the fourth
- 32:12Speaker 3: quarter in Arizona State at the ball and my and
- 32:14Speaker 3: my partner in data Adam text me goes, you ready
- 32:17Speaker 3: for Stark to sark this thing? And I mean it's like,
- 32:22Speaker 3: you know what, you know what's coming sark this thing.
- 32:25Speaker 2: You know it's coming, you know. And Jay Meadows can't
- 32:29Speaker 2: stand Sarkisian, so he's loving. He is just he's gonna
- 32:32Speaker 2: cut this out. This would be the first thing he
- 32:34Speaker 2: cuts out. Are you gonna sark?
- 32:36Speaker 3: Gonna sark? Yeah, in the West Coast it's called cougan
- 32:39Speaker 3: it for Washington State. Is so I think I think
- 32:44Speaker 3: you can sark this thing up.
- 32:45Speaker 2: Mike Leech was the best thing to ever happened to
- 32:49Speaker 2: Washington State. What they did there phenomenal. All right, So
- 32:55Speaker 2: back on back on point Hypel Stark Kiffen. We're just
- 32:58Speaker 2: splitting here. Yeah, we're we We think we really really
- 33:01Speaker 2: are fair enough splitting hairs in terms of those guys
- 33:04Speaker 2: outside of Kirby because you would you would pick Kirby first.
- 33:07Speaker 2: You still believe at the end of the day, when
- 33:10Speaker 2: you get down to the nitty gritty, defense still wins
- 33:12Speaker 2: championships and big momentum you know, plays, especially in a
- 33:17Speaker 2: in a semi final national championship game. So take Kirby
- 33:21Speaker 2: out because I know you would pick him. Yeah, you
- 33:24Speaker 2: can pick venables, one head, no head coach, one head
- 33:28Speaker 2: coach in the league. Would it be Laane hypel or
- 33:33Speaker 2: debor is my thinking on who your top because you
- 33:36Speaker 2: would not Sark now that we're shifting OC to head coach,
- 33:40Speaker 2: it would not be top eight.
- 33:43Speaker 3: No, not according to you, not me, not me, I'm
- 33:45Speaker 3: not I'm not I'm not taking them right because.
- 33:48Speaker 2: Again our listeners, he's separating this. He likes Sark as
- 33:52Speaker 2: a play caller. OC does not like Sark poo pooing
- 33:56Speaker 2: at Washington, you know, not winning as much as you
- 33:59Speaker 2: should have it Washington Southern cal and believe it or
- 34:01Speaker 2: not even at Texas considering the way they recruit go
- 34:04Speaker 2: out you know. So would it be Lane Hype or
- 34:08Speaker 2: Lane Hypeldbor?
- 34:10Speaker 3: Oh? Yes, right, I think I think he is going
- 34:12Speaker 3: to do a really good job in Florida. We'll see, right,
- 34:16Speaker 3: you know, it's it's it's uh again. We talked about
- 34:19Speaker 3: where coaches come from, and it's an amble, right, But
- 34:22Speaker 3: you look at his profile. He's done it at two
- 34:24Speaker 3: places and he's done it very very well. So to me,
- 34:28Speaker 3: John has the highest potential ceiling of new guys sharing
- 34:32Speaker 3: into the league. But if we're if we're taking one
- 34:36Speaker 3: veteran head coach, you say, let's just say you need
- 34:40Speaker 3: got one guy for one year?
- 34:42Speaker 2: Right?
- 34:42Speaker 3: Who who one guy one year? Biggest impact guy, you know,
- 34:48Speaker 3: number one we're taking them in. Kirby is the is
- 34:51Speaker 3: We're throwing him out because everybody's taking Kirby.
- 34:53Speaker 2: Right, He's already played in three national Championship games and
- 34:56Speaker 2: one two.
- 34:56Speaker 3: Right and and and in my opinion, lord the best
- 34:59Speaker 3: single def defensive coordinator, best defensive minding in the modern era.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Yeah, in the last fifteen years.
- 35:05Speaker 1: Right.
- 35:05Speaker 3: You know Venables is great as well. You know we
- 35:08Speaker 3: have we have We're really blessed. We have two of
- 35:10Speaker 3: the top defensive minds I would say of the century
- 35:13Speaker 3: twenty five years in Kirby and Brent.
- 35:15Speaker 2: Ok.
- 35:15Speaker 3: You know, I'm gonna look at Brent when he took
- 35:16Speaker 3: over the defense last year, but best defense.
- 35:18Speaker 2: In the SEC. Right, just like that.
- 35:21Speaker 3: Head coach de Boor Lane, I'm going Kaitlin de Bor, Okay,
- 35:27Speaker 3: I'm taking I'm taking to Bor. I'd probably take Lane
- 35:30Speaker 3: right now. Number two, Layne Lane is on a really
- 35:32Speaker 3: good hot streak.
- 35:33Speaker 2: You know, he's on a heater.
- 35:34Speaker 3: Yeah, we talked about it. He's improved the last three stops.
- 35:37Speaker 3: He has improved the coach effect everywhere he's gone, and
- 35:40Speaker 3: only him and Dan Mullen have done that three stops
- 35:43Speaker 3: in a row. So I think I think Lane's trajectory
- 35:46Speaker 3: is really really good. I liked Boor in more of
- 35:51Speaker 3: the you know, to handle. I'm hiring these guys for
- 35:53Speaker 3: pressure games too, right, Debor has been in a few
- 35:56Speaker 3: more pressure games. Well.
- 35:57Speaker 2: To Boor beat Sark when he was at Washington in
- 35:59Speaker 2: a semi final game. And they're not close to the
- 36:02Speaker 2: way that Texas recruits, right, And you go even into
- 36:05Speaker 2: the lower leagues that Calin's been, and he's been in
- 36:07Speaker 2: a lot of that's right. He was like sou Falls
- 36:09Speaker 2: was something something and winning ninety percent of It's almost
- 36:13Speaker 2: like what Signetti did at Indiana PA and Elon.
- 36:16Speaker 3: It's it's it really mirrors itself, right, you know in
- 36:20Speaker 3: terms of signettes and bores kind of rise through the
- 36:24Speaker 3: lower ends.
- 36:25Speaker 2: So you know that's cool. But you guys are splitting hairs. Yeah, absolutely, yeah,
- 36:31Speaker 2: you would be okay if you didn't get to Bor
- 36:33Speaker 2: and got Lane for one year, you'd be okay. You
- 36:36Speaker 2: wouldn't be like I lost.
- 36:37Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly. The thing is nobody it's that first year.
- 36:42Speaker 3: And and I'm saying this because you have Lane at
- 36:45Speaker 3: his first year at lsu R, you have John at
- 36:47Speaker 3: his first year, you have Alex at his first year.
- 36:50Speaker 3: Those first year trans when you transfer, that first year
- 36:55Speaker 3: is usually dead flat, right. Lane when he got to
- 36:58Speaker 3: FAU his first year was his worst year. When Lane
- 37:01Speaker 3: got to Old Miss his first year, that was his
- 37:03Speaker 3: worst coach effect year. Then it went up from there
- 37:06Speaker 3: and it just takes a while to really get their feet.
- 37:09Speaker 3: So you know when you talk about bringing one.
- 37:13Speaker 2: But and here's the great question, is it different now
- 37:16Speaker 2: because of the portal? So when Lane took over Florida Atlantic,
- 37:21Speaker 2: there was no portal. When Lane took over Old Miss,
- 37:24Speaker 2: there was no portal, And it was a ten game
- 37:26Speaker 2: conference schedule in COVID, which is brutal. So he didn't
- 37:28Speaker 2: get to warm up with limon Roe. And then now
- 37:31Speaker 2: Lane gets to this is something that you can look
- 37:33Speaker 2: at later. Now Lane gets to take over as a
- 37:36Speaker 2: first time head coach at LSU. But leveraging the portal,
- 37:39Speaker 2: So does it expedite what you're talking about? You go
- 37:42Speaker 2: through a couple of speed bumps, right right?
- 37:44Speaker 3: He brings in Sam Levitt as his starter, who has
- 37:46Speaker 3: a ton of snaps, right pre nil, do you bring
- 37:50Speaker 3: Sam Levitt in out of Arizona.
- 37:51Speaker 2: State like that? No, you don't.
- 37:52Speaker 3: You just grabbed this sophomore. That's the next man up
- 37:55Speaker 3: right right? You know, And at LSU there's always tons
- 37:57Speaker 3: of talent, but it's not a two or three year starter.
- 38:01Speaker 2: A guy who has played and played and played. Right,
- 38:04Speaker 2: we just repersed He was in a Sam Levitt was
- 38:06Speaker 2: in a college football playoff game against Texas. Yeah, and
- 38:11Speaker 2: they don't recruit within fifty spots of Texas and the
- 38:14Speaker 2: game went down to the wire. He's been on that
- 38:17Speaker 2: big stage, He's yeah.
- 38:18Speaker 3: He's been on that stage. He's carried an offensive coordinator.
- 38:21Speaker 3: I mean a lot of people don't. In my opinion,
- 38:23Speaker 3: Marcus Arroyo is the offensive coordinator Arizona State, and without
- 38:27Speaker 3: Justin Herbert and without Sam Levitt, that guy stinks, right.
- 38:30Speaker 3: I mean we're talking bottom twentieth percentle of all offensive coordinators.
- 38:34Speaker 3: He got fired at UNLV for three straight years outside
- 38:37Speaker 3: the top one hundred an offense.
- 38:38Speaker 2: So he pulled a Coleman Hudzler. No, he pulled that.
- 38:43Speaker 2: We'll call it a Hudsler. He pulled a Hudzler Jackson.
- 38:46Speaker 3: Write that down please, And now Jackson's still suck stuck
- 38:50Speaker 3: on sarking it.
- 38:50Speaker 2: Yeah, right, So well he's playing the Fenians menu for
- 38:54Speaker 2: three weeks from this.
- 38:55Speaker 3: So I really loved Levitt because of what he has
- 38:58Speaker 3: done that area on the state with that offense, of course, and.
- 39:01Speaker 2: You like that he's been through the trials and tribulations.
- 39:03Speaker 2: This is what people don't have on Saturday, like the
- 39:06Speaker 2: fact that he has not only won big games but lost.
- 39:09Speaker 3: Yeah, and he's carried teams, right, I mean, look at
- 39:12Speaker 3: cam Ward carry teams. Miami gets him fam number one
- 39:15Speaker 3: offense in the country, carried that team. You know, I
- 39:18Speaker 3: love guys that have proven to carry their team, especially.
- 39:21Speaker 2: Why you like Dak Prescott and Eli Manning coming out
- 39:24Speaker 2: of Ole Miss and Mississippi State because they carried the bags,
- 39:27Speaker 2: sold the popcorn and everything.
- 39:29Speaker 3: They won the games, right they they you know, Eli
- 39:31Speaker 3: took Old miss above above talent, dak took State above talent.
- 39:36Speaker 3: I mean I had Dak as the second best, you know, yeah,
- 39:40Speaker 3: right in that draft, you had Dak as the sad
- 39:42Speaker 3: you know, and you know I had pretty I tweeted
- 39:44Speaker 3: about him before the draft and said, this guy would
- 39:47Speaker 3: be quarterback number one of one if he was at
- 39:51Speaker 3: a big brand, not I s U right, yeah yeah,
- 39:56Speaker 3: so so I you know, it's again it's pre and
- 40:00Speaker 3: post an il right, and Lane now takes over and
- 40:04Speaker 3: Summer all no, some are all did it at Tulane.
- 40:08Speaker 2: But but it is interesting to see what happened in Lane.
- 40:15Speaker 2: Does he still have He's gonna have speed bumps because
- 40:17Speaker 2: everybody does in the SEC. But can he mitigate those
- 40:21Speaker 2: through because now he gets the portal as a first
- 40:24Speaker 2: year head coach.
- 40:24Speaker 3: Right, and he gets Baker back right right, defensive coordinator continuity.
- 40:30Speaker 2: That was the second he was going to Tulane, right,
- 40:32Speaker 2: and that was they convinced him to stay LSU right,
- 40:35Speaker 2: and then Tulane to.
- 40:40Speaker 3: Tilly will Hall.
- 40:42Speaker 2: I can't even say it with a straight face. Oh
- 40:44Speaker 2: my god, that is like he did.
- 40:47Speaker 3: He did one of the lowest graded coach effect tenures
- 40:52Speaker 3: that we have since twenty ten in all of college football.
- 40:55Speaker 3: And Tulane went from Willie Fritz to John Summer. All
- 40:59Speaker 3: and by the way, Johnsmer his first year at Tulane,
- 41:01Speaker 3: that was his worst coach effect year of the four
- 41:03Speaker 3: first year there, all right, first year bumps. It was
- 41:06Speaker 3: still solid, but it wasn't like last year. Right, and
- 41:08Speaker 3: the two lane goes yes, it goes Fritz. Some are
- 41:11Speaker 3: all Hall. Yeah, we'll see if Tulane can get back
- 41:14Speaker 3: to a bowl this year.
- 41:15Speaker 2: All right, I've got a couple of questions that we're
- 41:17Speaker 2: gonna tease here. Uh, this is ask Bar two tom
- 41:21Speaker 2: as we go into the third hour. So if you
- 41:24Speaker 2: would like to ask Bar two about your head coach ranking,
- 41:29Speaker 2: oc DC pairing or ranking or any of that red
- 41:37Speaker 2: zone efficiency, all that stuff, any anything that on your
- 41:39Speaker 2: mind with your team, hit us up on the Dancing

- 41:47Speaker 2: three seven seven six bow bounds day Bar two. Bar
- 41:53Speaker 2: two's on the Farm Bureau Insurance guest line. But he's
- 41:55Speaker 2: sitting right to my left of me, and we're having
- 41:59Speaker 2: a great time, all right, So we're gonna tease a
- 42:01Speaker 2: couple of things here we've got. We're gonna make Bar
- 42:06Speaker 2: two talk about Colvin Hutzler for twenty minutes. I'm kidding.
- 42:11Speaker 2: Somebody asked about Arnett's rankings and also Buster Faulkner's rankings,
- 42:19Speaker 2: and but for our listeners, you may go, well, why
- 42:21Speaker 2: would I care? Well, here's why. Buster Faulkner's the offensive
- 42:25Speaker 2: coordinator for the Florida Gators, and both the Old Miss
- 42:28Speaker 2: Rebels and the Mississippi State Bulldogs play them this year.
- 42:33Speaker 2: And we like to tie in teams even more that
- 42:36Speaker 2: are both playing MSU and Ole Miss this year, like Auburn, Vandy,
- 42:41Speaker 2: Texas and Florida. And I may have missed one, but
- 42:44Speaker 2: there are several teams that both of our teams play,
- 42:48Speaker 2: and you're gonna want to know what you're going up against.
- 42:51Speaker 2: That's another Arnett ask. Okay, he's got Arnett from twenty
- 42:55Speaker 2: twenty one and twenty two, so it's been a minute
- 42:59Speaker 2: since it's Arnett called plays, but he did call plays
- 43:03Speaker 2: for three years under Mike Leech. And we'll hit Arnette,
- 43:08Speaker 2: Buster Faulkner, and there was one other one here on
- 43:11Speaker 2: the Dancing Rabbit golf text line, but open it up.
