- 0:51Speaker 8: Right?
- 0:51Speaker 1: Yeah? Today?
- 0:52Speaker 8: Yeah, Scotland in Scotland in Glasgow. They would have been
- 0:58Speaker 8: in Victoria.
- 1:00Speaker 7: And Victoria basically paid.
- 1:02Speaker 8: I think it was about six hundred million dollars four
- 1:05Speaker 8: games that are not happening in Victoria and are happening
- 1:08Speaker 8: in Glasgow.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Now, ye, Dan Andrews got rid of it, pulled the pin.
- 1:12Speaker 1: But I remember at the time people were like, we
- 1:14Speaker 1: don't care, we don't want them here, you know.
- 1:17Speaker 9: But after it's were in six hundred MILLI why would
- 1:20Speaker 9: you not just follow through?
- 1:22Speaker 1: Well?
- 1:23Speaker 8: He was saying at the time it was going to
- 1:24Speaker 8: cost six billion dollars, but Glasgow's basically doing it for
- 1:29Speaker 8: like no more than the six hundred million. They're just like, oh,
- 1:31Speaker 8: we'll take that money and.
- 1:34Speaker 1: We watch it.
- 1:35Speaker 9: I mean I'm not nah, go the Aussies though, go
- 1:39Speaker 9: the Aussies.
- 1:40Speaker 2: I just probably won't watch.
- 1:41Speaker 1: We always go really well because it's just like, what.
- 1:44Speaker 7: We don't have China or Russia.
- 1:47Speaker 1: You're no doping going on. Yeah, Brooklyn, I was seeing
- 1:51Speaker 1: on the news last night. Everyone's talking about it today.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Albow had a bit of a trip and a fall.
- 1:55Speaker 7: No, well, it wasn't a fall, it was a it
- 1:58Speaker 7: was a moment.
- 1:59Speaker 8: Of like unbalanced really. But it was in Adelaide. There's
- 2:03Speaker 8: a labor conference there and he was writing an escalator
- 2:07Speaker 8: down which was moving at first, and then the escalator
- 2:10Speaker 8: suddenly stopped, so he's like jolted a little bit. But
- 2:14Speaker 8: there's audio where you can kind to hear what Alvo
- 2:19Speaker 8: said at the time.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Here we go, what do we hear there?
- 2:26Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a little cheky f bomb there.
- 2:28Speaker 1: What is there? But like oh he goes he goes off.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Okay, Yeah.
- 2:35Speaker 7: It doesn't help when you also get beats you.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Know, oh he said for fa Yeah, how annoying is it?
- 2:42Speaker 1: By the way, when you're you get on an escalator
- 2:45Speaker 1: that's broken like that one he was on.
- 2:47Speaker 8: Yes, I always I can't do it? Why does it
- 2:50Speaker 8: feel so weird?
- 2:51Speaker 1: I know you're like you're going up or down and
- 2:53Speaker 1: you're like, don't that's not as good as the other
- 2:58Speaker 1: politician from the week though, Sorry.
- 3:04Speaker 2: That one was iconic.
- 3:05Speaker 9: I feel like that was so and that so many
- 3:08Speaker 9: trending memes now. But imagine being the Prime minister and
- 3:13Speaker 9: a bloody escalator stops when you're on it and you
- 3:17Speaker 9: drop a cheeky f form like we all would and
- 3:20Speaker 9: boom it's yeah.
- 3:21Speaker 2: And you can't get your break right.
- 3:23Speaker 1: It kind of like stumbled. Everybody be like, oh is
- 3:26Speaker 1: he getting too old?
- 3:28Speaker 8: I reready can see it on his face because he
- 3:31Speaker 8: like turns around real quick as if like he's quite frightened.
- 3:35Speaker 7: I think that something is serious is going on. No,
- 3:38Speaker 7: but like security issue, you know.
- 3:42Speaker 1: All right, on the show, let's get into it. It's Friday.

- 3:57Speaker 9: We have a live performance in stut video from Amy Shark.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Yes, she's going to do that track your kids Love

- 4:08Speaker 2: Well, it is a really catchy song.
- 4:10Speaker 9: Even I will sing along with her today, which it's
- 4:15Speaker 9: called the Biggest Can I say it?
- 4:17Speaker 2: It's called the Biggest Dick?
- 4:19Speaker 9: Yeah, but she has to make it family friendly, so
- 4:22Speaker 9: she calls it the Biggest Ick. Yeah, but your kids
- 4:25Speaker 9: are singing, well, my kids only. Yeah, it came up
- 4:29Speaker 9: on my Spotify and so we only know it as
- 4:32Speaker 9: the Biggest d Mom play the Biggest d all right.
- 4:38Speaker 9: We're also going to be speaking to a man who
- 4:40Speaker 9: has sailed the Australian Ocean, not on a boat, on
- 4:44Speaker 9: a toilet.
- 4:45Speaker 8: Oh that's sosy, doesn't it just sing?
- 4:52Speaker 1: We will find out when he comes on the show. Hey,
- 4:54Speaker 1: I'm also we are going to send someone to BTS

- 5:08Speaker 7: Later in the show around eight.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, do we get to call somebody.
- 5:13Speaker 7: Yeah, we get to make the as well. So if
- 5:16Speaker 7: there's every time to pick up a private number.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Yeah today, that's today, that's going to make someone's hold.
- 5:21Speaker 8: I've been to one of these things in Vegas, so
- 5:24Speaker 8: I can't wait to discuss what they want to do
- 5:26Speaker 8: in Vegas.
- 5:27Speaker 7: What's good, what's bad?
- 5:29Speaker 1: If they pick up their phone, do you guys pick
- 5:31Speaker 1: up private numbers?
- 5:32Speaker 2: No, normally never get.
- 5:33Speaker 9: A lot of like eight calling yes, or like from
- 5:37Speaker 9: Melbourne or something.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Well yeah, but like I look at it and I go,
- 5:40Speaker 1: I don't know that number, why would I pick it up?
- 5:42Speaker 1: But I think they're trying to put a number on
- 5:44Speaker 1: now instead of private number.
- 5:46Speaker 7: The Power Bull went off last night.
- 5:47Speaker 8: It was forty million, and they always come out and
- 5:50Speaker 8: say what the winner said on the phone?
- 5:53Speaker 2: Did you win?
- 5:54Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 5:54Speaker 8: Someone won the whole thing, a couple in Brisbane and
- 5:57Speaker 8: they said that. The kai, when he was told to
- 6:00Speaker 8: news just said f no. That's the information we we
- 6:05Speaker 8: have about their response as the you.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Didn't believe it? Yeahs like, oh no.
- 6:13Speaker 2: That kind of thing.
- 6:14Speaker 1: You wouldn't believe it though?
- 6:15Speaker 2: That what a phone call to receive though, Well.
- 6:20Speaker 1: We're not doing that. Yeah, sorry, we don't what else?

- 7:05Speaker 10: Good morning. How are we all?
- 7:07Speaker 7: How are you things?
- 7:09Speaker 10: I'm great, I'm great. I'm on my way to the gym,
- 7:12Speaker 10: so I'm fantastic.
- 7:14Speaker 2: It blows my mind.
- 7:15Speaker 9: I've got a girlfriend who I speak to every morning
- 7:17Speaker 9: now when I'm driving into work at like four forty five,
- 7:20Speaker 9: and it's because she's going to the gym at that time,
- 7:23Speaker 9: and I'm like three morning, yeah, And I'm like, you
- 7:25Speaker 9: choose to get up this early, like you have a choice,
- 7:28Speaker 9: and this is what you.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Choose to do with your time? Anyway?
- 7:30Speaker 1: Can I ask on that with me? How's that phone
- 7:33Speaker 1: call going, because if my mate called me every morning,
- 7:36Speaker 1: i'd block him.
- 7:37Speaker 9: No, it's actually nice. It's sometimes I want to drive
- 7:40Speaker 9: in silence.
- 7:41Speaker 2: I just went in.
- 7:41Speaker 9: But a lot of the time it's nice, don't I
- 7:44Speaker 9: don't think about the drive. I just get there real quick,
- 7:46Speaker 9: and it's pretty much the only time we catch up
- 7:48Speaker 9: at the moment.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Isn't that a chick thing? A like to make a
- 7:50Speaker 1: phone call just about every day to your girlfriend or
- 7:53Speaker 1: the way to work.
- 7:54Speaker 2: They all do it, they, Oh, yeah, we do, all right, Lauren?
- 7:57Speaker 2: You work for the government. Are you allowed to say
- 7:59Speaker 2: what you do?
- 8:00Speaker 10: I do? I do? I work in building projects.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Oh amazing. You married with two boys? How old are they?
- 8:07Speaker 2: I've got two boys.
- 8:07Speaker 10: Too, that's it.
- 8:10Speaker 11: They're little.
- 8:10Speaker 10: They're four and two.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Oh so cute. Have they started brawling yet? Yes, I
- 8:18Speaker 2: tell you, it gets better. It gets a lot worse.
- 8:22Speaker 2: You drive a high lux And I had a.
- 8:25Speaker 9: Little read of this birth story that somebody's typed out,
- 8:28Speaker 9: and it is hilarious. Can you give the listeners just
- 8:32Speaker 9: a quick run through of what happened when you were
- 8:34Speaker 9: actually giving birth to one of your sons.
- 8:37Speaker 10: Well, I think I'm about the only person I've ever
- 8:41Speaker 10: known to have the happy gas confiscated off them, and
- 8:46Speaker 10: the worst time for it to happen as well. I mean,
- 8:48Speaker 10: labor is clearly not a comfortable experience. Yeah, but the
- 8:53Speaker 10: gas was up quite high and I was enjoying myself,
- 8:55Speaker 10: and then I started to get quite paranoid, and I
- 8:59Speaker 10: mentioned that I saw thought that news presenter Pete Overton
- 9:03Speaker 10: was in the room from me from Channel nine reading
- 9:07Speaker 10: some important news, I'm sure, and they looked at me
- 9:10Speaker 10: like I was hallucinating and going insane and went to
- 9:14Speaker 10: take away the gas. And then it's only later that
- 9:16Speaker 10: I figured out. You know those hospital you know, there's
- 9:20Speaker 10: TVs that they've got and they've got a little ball
- 9:22Speaker 10: bell with the tiny little speaker. Oh, the speaker was
- 9:25Speaker 10: hidden under my pillow, so I was hearing him.
- 9:29Speaker 2: So you were my fault, s TV.
- 9:34Speaker 10: I mean, I did actually believe you could have been
- 9:37Speaker 10: in the room, so there was like a little element
- 9:39Speaker 10: of maybe hallucinating.
- 9:41Speaker 2: He transitioned into being your midwife at the time, and.
- 9:44Speaker 1: It cost Peterroviton's marriage to Jess Rowe and they got
- 9:46Speaker 1: a couple of kids, so it wouldn't be the worst
- 9:48Speaker 1: person in the room.
- 9:50Speaker 9: They just took your gas off you? And what did
- 9:52Speaker 9: you just have to raw dog the birth? Did you
- 9:54Speaker 9: have any other pain relief?
- 9:56Speaker 10: Not for a while, and so I up, eventually getting
- 10:00Speaker 10: an EPG. All but all for the gas. Really enjoyed
- 10:04Speaker 10: it until the slight paranoia.
- 10:07Speaker 9: Peter turned up all right, weighing as sixty five kilos.
- 10:11Speaker 9: They think it's all overton it is now it's Lauren.
- 10:18Speaker 7: Nickname.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Can we get Pete on him up? I know he's probably.
- 10:22Speaker 10: He'll be awake, wouldn't he?
- 10:23Speaker 1: Well, ladies, he does the six pm news in Sydney. Yeah,
- 10:30Speaker 1: so he probably stays up later. But yeah, I think
- 10:31Speaker 1: we need to talk to Pete about.
- 10:33Speaker 7: This and make this dream come true.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Lauren. Alright, shall we meet our trady? Hello? Jet? How
- 10:40Speaker 1: you doing?
- 10:41Speaker 7: Jet? What a great name, great name?
- 10:44Speaker 1: Oh you're there, Jet Jet?
- 10:47Speaker 12: Hello, good morning morning.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Hey man. I know you're a concrete You've been with
- 10:52Speaker 1: your girlfriend for four years, You've got an Audi RS

- 11:00Speaker 1: Hey man? What happened last week and at your low
- 11:02Speaker 1: called chicken shop?
- 11:05Speaker 12: Oh my gosh, man, I was waiting in line for
- 11:08Speaker 12: my chicken where I noticed across just across the corridor. There,
- 11:12Speaker 12: this guy has dropped his receipt. He's trying to pick
- 11:14Speaker 12: up the receipt with his feet, and his arms are
- 11:16Speaker 12: in front of his body, you know, like like he
- 11:18Speaker 12: may have been an accent or something one day. So I
- 11:21Speaker 12: felt bad for the guy. A couple of minutes when
- 11:22Speaker 12: by he's still trying to pick up with his feet.
- 11:24Speaker 12: So I walked over there, ben over in front of
- 11:26Speaker 12: his feet, pick up your receipt for him. He took
- 11:28Speaker 12: it right out of my hand and said, oh, thanks, May,
- 11:29Speaker 12: I was just seeing if I could pick it up
- 11:30Speaker 12: with my feet.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, you thought he it was to say,
- 11:34Speaker 1: bored and you were trying to help out.
- 11:36Speaker 12: Absolutely yep.
- 11:37Speaker 7: So was he barefoot?
- 11:40Speaker 1: You know what he was?
- 11:43Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 11:44Speaker 1: Yeah, how are you with your feet?
- 11:45Speaker 9: I'm not gonna lie. I have really short toes. It's
- 11:49Speaker 9: like they stopped growing in my mum's uterus. I call
- 11:52Speaker 9: them like little baby chods. But I can actually pick
- 11:56Speaker 9: up anything with my toes.
- 11:58Speaker 1: We need to see this takes you socks?
- 12:00Speaker 9: No, I haven't had a petty nor Yeah, let me
- 12:04Speaker 9: get my totails at least painted.
- 12:06Speaker 7: Anyone could, couldn't They like it's hard to pick up
- 12:10Speaker 7: a receipt up with your toes. I reckon, I could.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Sounds like we need to do a challenge. But we
- 12:14Speaker 1: all take out shoes and socks off and put our
- 12:16Speaker 1: feet into various positions down the Yeah.
- 12:20Speaker 2: I'm down, Yeah, okay.
- 12:22Speaker 1: All right? Hey wait and it's sixty four kilos. It's

- 12:45Speaker 1: I mean their own bi quantas.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Yeah, no.

- 17:18Speaker 7: I told you, Mikey hang up.
- 17:22Speaker 10: Hello, you've reached the mobile phone of peter residence.
- 17:25Speaker 13: Please leave me a message after the tone many thanks, Bye.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Morning, Peter. Sorry to bother you, mate, Mikey, Brooklyn Amy
- 17:33Speaker 1: Gerrard Kiss FM. We had a caller on here, Lauren,
- 17:36Speaker 1: Lauren say hello to Peter. Yeah, Lauren, are you hallucinated
- 17:42Speaker 1: and thought Peter was in your room when you're giving birth?
- 17:45Speaker 10: Right?
- 17:46Speaker 1: Absolutely, any message you want to leave him?
- 17:50Speaker 2: Then?
- 17:52Speaker 10: He was a boy?
- 17:54Speaker 9: Was he a really great support person? You know, like
- 17:56Speaker 9: it's really nice to have a support person in the room.
- 17:58Speaker 1: There?
- 17:59Speaker 2: Do you find?
- 18:00Speaker 10: Ten out of ten?
- 18:00Speaker 2: Ten out of ten?
- 18:02Speaker 1: There you go?
- 18:02Speaker 2: So, there you go.
- 18:03Speaker 9: You've got a future in midwifree if you know everything else.
- 18:06Speaker 2: If nine doesn't work out, right, there you go.
- 18:09Speaker 7: We didn't wake you up.
- 18:10Speaker 1: He see you, Peter. Okay, what's coming up?
- 18:16Speaker 2: All right?
- 18:17Speaker 9: So an Aussie company has announced a new perk, but
- 18:21Speaker 9: not everyone is entitled to it. In fact, you would
- 18:24Speaker 9: not be entitled to this perk.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, we'll find out after Alex Warren twenty
- 18:30Speaker 1: three past six. You're on Kiss for Friday.
- 18:34Speaker 9: Good morning, So dish the high end clothes shop.
- 18:42Speaker 2: I actually shop there a fair bit at Cross you do,
- 18:45Speaker 2: it's called They've caused a little bit of.
- 18:47Speaker 9: Controversy online as always as they've given two extra weeks
- 18:54Speaker 9: holiday to their employees, but it is only employees with
- 19:00Speaker 9: kids under twelve now. The policy was introduced by the CEO,
- 19:04Speaker 9: Lucy Henry Hicks, who is a mother of two, of course,
- 19:07Speaker 9: and it's actually intended to make life easier for parents
- 19:10Speaker 9: to manage school events, plays, cross country all of this stuff,
- 19:14Speaker 9: which allows women to obviously continue working full time, closing
- 19:17Speaker 9: the gender pay gap. However, many people are saying that
- 19:21Speaker 9: it's unfair to the childless and there should be more
- 19:25Speaker 9: leave across the board for everyone.
- 19:29Speaker 1: You've got an opinion on this, I mean, what do
- 19:31Speaker 1: you think, Amy parent?
- 19:32Speaker 9: I actually think it's fantastic and if you read into it,
- 19:37Speaker 9: it's not just two weeks extra holiday where they can
- 19:39Speaker 9: go away on holidays to Bali or whatever. It's literally
- 19:44Speaker 9: specifically four mothers who have school plays and assemblies and athletics,
- 19:50Speaker 9: cannibals and importantly like doctor's appointments, because a lot of
- 19:54Speaker 9: the time, when you have kids and they're sick and
- 19:57Speaker 9: you have to be home to care for them, that
- 20:00Speaker 9: choose into your sick leave. So even though the mother's
- 20:03Speaker 9: not sick, you have to stay at home and look
- 20:05Speaker 9: after your kids.
- 20:06Speaker 2: So it's two weeks. It's just helping parents out. It
- 20:11Speaker 2: really is now.
- 20:13Speaker 9: I would like to also see it extended to people
- 20:17Speaker 9: and women who also care for elderly parents, because I
- 20:22Speaker 9: actually think that's a really big role that a lot
- 20:24Speaker 9: of women play. And I think if it was extended
- 20:27Speaker 9: to like I know, people like I saw her online,
- 20:30Speaker 9: people were like.
- 20:31Speaker 2: You know, you're a child, Like that's a choice.
- 20:33Speaker 1: You made it, You made it three times.
- 20:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I did make it three times.
- 20:37Speaker 9: But it is so hard, Like you want people, you know,
- 20:40Speaker 9: we want the birth rate in Australia to grow up,
- 20:42Speaker 9: but we're not making it easy for women to have
- 20:46Speaker 9: children and also be in the workplace. I actually think
- 20:48Speaker 9: it's a really great way of supporting mums.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Right, Okay, what about what about us childless?
- 20:56Speaker 7: But like I mean, do you not agree, Well, okay, no,
- 20:59Speaker 7: I do absolutely agree.
- 21:00Speaker 8: But on your sick leave point right where you're like well,
- 21:04Speaker 8: it's chewing into my sick leave. Like I don't get sick,
- 21:08Speaker 8: so I'm not like using my sick leave. But a
- 21:11Speaker 8: mother is able to use it for her kids, you
- 21:13Speaker 8: know what I mean? Like you can utilize your sick
- 21:16Speaker 8: leave probably way more than most people.
- 21:19Speaker 1: And technically you probably aren't allowed to take sick leave
- 21:21Speaker 1: if your kids sick.
- 21:22Speaker 7: Right, Well, yeah, I think a lot of people do that.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Okay, I don't know.
- 21:26Speaker 2: What else would you take?
- 21:29Speaker 1: Yeah, well what about this, but I've got a cat
- 21:31Speaker 1: at home and she was sick, I didn't get any
- 21:36Speaker 1: time off. Yeah, or like I've got to do things
- 21:40Speaker 1: with my girlfriend.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Oh, shut up, like a lot of do you want
- 21:46Speaker 2: an extra two weeks to do things with your girlfriend?
- 21:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean early stages of a relationship. You want
- 21:52Speaker 1: me to put the effort in and that couldn't get
- 21:54Speaker 1: out of it to the birth rate if we stay together,
- 21:58Speaker 1: then well look I get it. I do get it,
- 22:00Speaker 1: But there will be a lot of child like full
- 22:02Speaker 1: blown like I want to have kids one day, but
- 22:03Speaker 1: people that don't want to have them at all, yes, say,
- 22:06Speaker 1: well that is unfair, wouldn't they?
- 22:08Speaker 8: I don't even see there's unfair really, because like we
- 22:11Speaker 8: all have. We're all the child of our parents, you
- 22:14Speaker 8: know what I mean. So children, but when we even
- 22:20Speaker 8: if you can't have children, you understand how hard it
- 22:24Speaker 8: is for a parent who has children. And that's just
- 22:27Speaker 8: so they should get a little leg up.
- 22:29Speaker 2: I'm a big believer.
- 22:30Speaker 9: I feel like an equal society is achieved by realizing
- 22:32Speaker 9: that some people just need more assistance than others in
- 22:37Speaker 9: certain times. And for women raising children, especially under the
- 22:40Speaker 9: age of twelve, they need a village, they need support.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, okay, give it to them. But also give
- 22:46Speaker 1: single people that are up laid on hinge dming people,
- 22:49Speaker 1: give them maybe four days extra whatever. Just again, that'll
- 22:53Speaker 1: contribute to the birth rate.
- 22:58Speaker 7: Good debating.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Yeah, we might take your calls on that for first
- 23:02Speaker 1: calls if you've got to comment thirteen one oh six five.
- 23:04Speaker 1: But right now we're going to do the birthday Wheel
- 23:06Speaker 1: twenty fourth of July. Happy birthday, call in if you
- 23:10Speaker 1: want to win a prize. You'll get to spin our
- 23:12Speaker 1: big birthday Wheel. You will get a prize and we'll
- 23:15Speaker 1: wish your happy birthdays. So thirteen one o six five.
- 23:19Speaker 1: If you are born today, dial in. You're on Kiss

- 23:28Speaker 1: my birthday. Well, happy birthday. Today is the twenty fourth
- 23:33Speaker 1: of July, and we're going to get you on for
- 23:35Speaker 1: the birthday wheel.
- 23:36Speaker 9: Yeah, and guess who else is turning forty fifty seven today?
- 23:41Speaker 2: J Lolan's favorite.
- 23:43Speaker 7: Yeah, I do love her. I love this song. I
- 23:46Speaker 7: don't know if she's actually singing it, but we.
- 23:49Speaker 1: Got more, we got more?
- 23:51Speaker 2: Yes, Yeah, I'm not a man of this song.
- 23:55Speaker 18: What about I'm still I'm still Jennifer?
- 24:00Speaker 8: Yes, where's she's actually not seeing this the song?
- 24:05Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 24:06Speaker 1: Look into it? Fud Is she okay? What about?
- 24:11Speaker 2: It's still more? Jay?
- 24:14Speaker 1: Okay, you're not impressed?
- 24:15Speaker 2: All right?
- 24:15Speaker 9: Bindy Irwin is twenty eight today. Rose Byrne is forty seven.
- 24:21Speaker 9: Elizabeth Moss from The Handmaid's Tail.
- 24:24Speaker 2: That was such a creepy show, wasn't it.
- 24:26Speaker 1: I loved it.
- 24:26Speaker 2: I loved it too, but it was.
- 24:28Speaker 7: Like too much. I had to stop watching it, too stressful.
- 24:32Speaker 1: It went on too long. Yeah, they left the country
- 24:35Speaker 1: to go to Canada or something. I think she tries
- 24:37Speaker 1: to get back in, you lose.
- 24:39Speaker 16: I tried to get back in to get her daughter oh,
- 24:43Speaker 16: he doesn't understand. Mikey's like, what why would you do that?
- 24:50Speaker 16: Proviced your life.
- 24:51Speaker 2: For a child your own? Okay?
- 24:53Speaker 9: And on this day saving Private Ryan hit cinemas in
- 24:57Speaker 9: nineteen ninety eight, do you remember the pawn?
- 25:02Speaker 1: What ridiculous? Literally?
- 25:09Speaker 2: And did they say, oh wow, okay, Brodie, Okay, Brodie's
- 25:14Speaker 2: Brodie Brady, happy.
- 25:16Speaker 10: Birthday, thank you, thank you so much.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, how old are you turning?
- 25:22Speaker 10: Twenty four on the twenty fourth.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Twenty four on the twenty fourth. That's such a great age.
- 25:26Speaker 1: What are you doing celebrate?
- 25:29Speaker 19: I'm with my cousin today and then dinner with samiis
- 25:31Speaker 19: to night, and tomorrow is bottomless brunch.
- 25:35Speaker 2: How there's a bottomless brunch?
- 25:36Speaker 1: We need to do one? Because when we went out
- 25:38Speaker 1: for a team bonding, Yeah.
- 25:40Speaker 2: I was driving.
- 25:41Speaker 9: Why no, I don't hate you. I think I'd been
- 25:44Speaker 9: out the night before and I was feeling a little
- 25:47Speaker 9: sorry for it.
- 25:47Speaker 8: Was early days with us.
- 25:50Speaker 2: Got to be on my best behavior, lead with my
- 25:53Speaker 2: best foot.

- 25:56Speaker 1: we go? Birthday?

- 26:33Speaker 1: Before you go, you've got to pick our birthdays song.
- 26:36Speaker 1: So we've got a bit of a bit of a
- 26:38Speaker 1: carryover carry over.
- 26:39Speaker 8: Yeah, I do Brodie, I have Doja cat paint the
- 26:42Speaker 8: town red.
- 26:44Speaker 1: I said what I said?

- 26:51Speaker 3: I do?
- 26:53Speaker 1: Okay, here we go, Gwen Stefani, what you're waiting for?
- 27:01Speaker 2: Picked that?
- 27:03Speaker 7: Mikey, Yes, of course.
- 27:10Speaker 2: When luxurious is okay? Not this one?
- 27:13Speaker 7: Yeah, this is worse.
- 27:16Speaker 1: What are you picking the.
- 27:19Speaker 10: Let's go with wh alright?
- 27:24Speaker 7: Maybe I'm going to give it a chance here. I
- 27:27Speaker 7: haven't heard it for years.
- 27:29Speaker 2: This was for a reason.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Do we not know how big this hit was?
- 27:32Speaker 8: Yeah, but sometimes the biggest hits are the ones you
- 27:35Speaker 8: don't want to hear again.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, I think it's the best. We're going to
- 27:39Speaker 1: play it, but we want to take your first calls
- 27:41Speaker 1: and Amy, there's a lot of people calling in about
- 27:43Speaker 1: these extra leave for parents. What do they get two
- 27:47Speaker 1: weeks off?
- 27:48Speaker 2: Two weeks? They get an extra two weeks?
- 27:50Speaker 9: Yeah, it's just support parents for doctor's appointments, to leave school, assemblies, athletics, carnivals,
- 27:57Speaker 9: all the things that kids want us there for need us,
- 28:00Speaker 9: and we should be there for them. But it's hard
- 28:02Speaker 9: when you're a working parents.
- 28:04Speaker 1: It's fantastic people will they agree or disagree? We'll talk
- 28:09Speaker 1: to your next Now the best Wednesday finding song ever?
- 28:13Speaker 7: Okay, maybe this is not so bad.
- 28:16Speaker 1: You're on kiss Mony, I love you first calls now
- 28:24Speaker 1: if you want to chat live on kiss Styling on
- 28:26Speaker 1: thirteen one oh six five. Okay, Karen, what do you
- 28:30Speaker 1: want to talk about.
- 28:31Speaker 4: About the extra life parent?
- 28:33Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 28:34Speaker 2: What do you agree with it?
- 28:35Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 28:35Speaker 9: So it's a fashion label, dish they've given parents an extra.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Two weeks only parents though.
- 28:42Speaker 9: Yes, only parents, And I'm all for it. I think
- 28:44Speaker 9: it's a fantastic idea. Do you agree, Karen or are
- 28:47Speaker 9: you a bit against it?
- 28:48Speaker 15: Yes?
- 28:49Speaker 4: I know I do agree with it because I look
- 28:51Speaker 4: after children, Yes, and a lot of children that come
- 28:54Speaker 4: from single parent home.
- 28:56Speaker 14: Yesterday and a lot.
- 28:58Speaker 4: Of children have a lot of issues mentally, so for
- 29:01Speaker 4: their parents support them at school, doing extra activities at
- 29:06Speaker 4: anything would be fantastic. As parents ever feel guilty taking
- 29:10Speaker 4: a day off when their child is sick, yep, well
- 29:13Speaker 4: we shouldn't feel guilty. There are children, they're our generation
- 29:18Speaker 4: and we know to look after parents as a lot
- 29:22Speaker 4: of parents don't have support out there, so their boss
- 29:24Speaker 4: is willing to support them. Everyone that does can have
- 29:27Speaker 4: children shouldn't be jealous or upset. They should be supporting them.
- 29:32Speaker 5: And the children.
- 29:33Speaker 9: Yeah, and I think it's I think a lot of people,
- 29:36Speaker 9: I really think. And until you have a child yourself
- 29:40Speaker 9: and know how much sacrificing goes into raising them, I
- 29:44Speaker 9: truly don't think people get it. So these people who
- 29:47Speaker 9: are up in arms about it, the people who have
- 29:51Speaker 9: chosen not to have kids.
- 29:52Speaker 2: So I understand, But you walk a day.
- 29:55Speaker 9: In the life of a parent and you'd understand so quickly.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Doesn't count.
- 30:00Speaker 2: No, like a cat doesn't count.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Mikey, Hey Kira, good morning, Hey care You wanted to
- 30:07Speaker 1: comment on that as well. Is it okay for parents
- 30:10Speaker 1: to get more leave than childless people?
- 30:13Speaker 15: Parents should get more leave? Like this absolute like it's
- 30:17Speaker 15: bullshit that a childless parent wants more leave, Like what
- 30:20Speaker 15: are they going to do with it?
- 30:21Speaker 4: Go on holiday, go.
- 30:22Speaker 2: For a walk, Well, go for a walk, go for
- 30:24Speaker 2: a swim, mikey, I'd go to chailight exactly.
- 30:27Speaker 15: Yeah, okay, like parents need that additional leave for children
- 30:31Speaker 15: that get sick, and especially during winter. Yes, like I'm
- 30:36Speaker 15: where I'm based.
- 30:37Speaker 4: RSB is going around.
- 30:38Speaker 2: I've got a three year old, yes.
- 30:40Speaker 15: But she's constantly sick all the time.
- 30:44Speaker 2: Oh.
- 30:44Speaker 9: I remember when I first started back into work when
- 30:47Speaker 9: I had my firstborn and I put her into daycare
- 30:52Speaker 9: and the lady said, oh, you know, just be careful
- 30:54Speaker 9: because she will get sick when she first starts daycare.
- 30:56Speaker 9: And I was at the company for three months and
- 30:59Speaker 9: I reckoned.
- 30:59Speaker 2: In total, I worked there for six weeks because she
- 31:02Speaker 2: was so unwell all the time and I just had
- 31:05Speaker 2: to I had to care for her.
- 31:06Speaker 1: They're like germ factories, aren't they?
- 31:08Speaker 2: Other day cares God PTSD for those days?
- 31:12Speaker 1: Should we shut to Mark? Go on?
- 31:14Speaker 9: Then?
- 31:14Speaker 2: Hey, Mark morning, guys.
- 31:17Speaker 13: Hey, it's one by prefacing that I am a parent,
- 31:21Speaker 13: so I got two young kids. But on paper, this
- 31:25Speaker 13: sort of stuff looks great and it sounds, you know great,
- 31:29Speaker 13: like everyone if there's money to go around, give it
- 31:31Speaker 13: to me people who you can. You know, I'm all
- 31:33Speaker 13: for it. But what it does is you gonta be
- 31:38Speaker 13: really careful, especially with the AI taking jobs and all
- 31:41Speaker 13: that sort of stuff. Now, is if you start giving
- 31:45Speaker 13: groups like you know, new mothers or you know, parents
- 31:48Speaker 13: whatever additional you know, leave entitlements as a business owner,
- 31:55Speaker 13: a business owner is then going to be less higher.
- 31:59Speaker 1: That's what.
- 32:01Speaker 7: Your phone's gone bad, Mark.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Oh, I'm sure his point was good, was it? Though?
- 32:10Speaker 7: You had to get that point out, okay?
- 32:13Speaker 1: Sharon or Sharon Hello, Hello, you don't agree with it?
- 32:19Speaker 15: I don't. I well, I mean just made a comment
- 32:24Speaker 15: earlier that people choose not to have children other people
- 32:28Speaker 15: who disagree. I haven't made a choice not to have kids.
- 32:33Speaker 15: I have had multiple miscarriages and have not been able
- 32:37Speaker 15: to have my own children, and saying because I disagree
- 32:41Speaker 15: with this, because I don't understand, it's just giving me
- 32:44Speaker 15: a further disadvantage and rubbing it in my face.
- 32:48Speaker 2: So listen, Sharon, I'm really sorry.
- 32:51Speaker 9: I've got many many girlfriends who obviously struggled with infertility,
- 32:56Speaker 9: and so I didn't mean to offend you in that respect.
- 33:00Speaker 9: I'm just saying that when you do have children, it
- 33:05Speaker 9: takes a lot of sacrificing and it's incredibly challenging to
- 33:10Speaker 9: raise children in this day and age and try to
- 33:13Speaker 9: get back into the workforce. And I just agree with
- 33:17Speaker 9: Dish in this respect that where they can support mothers
- 33:22Speaker 9: and give an extra two weeks to help with with
- 33:25Speaker 9: sick kids and you know, to be able to be
- 33:27Speaker 9: there for kids schooling activities and stuff like this, I
- 33:31Speaker 9: just I only think it's a good thing.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Yeah, And but yeah, obviously not everyone chooses not to
- 33:36Speaker 1: have I'm not all like just had horrible relationships like
- 33:40Speaker 1: me that never got around to it. And yeah, yeah,
- 33:42Speaker 1: I suppose hearing that, Sharon, you you know.
- 33:44Speaker 9: Yeah, Look, and I apologize if I upset you, because
- 33:48Speaker 9: I'm never meant to do that. I know a lot
- 33:51Speaker 9: of people who have really struggled with infertility, so I
- 33:54Speaker 9: can understand why you've probably been offended by that. But
- 33:58Speaker 9: I just think what Dishes doing four mothers is a
- 34:01Speaker 9: good thing.
- 34:02Speaker 2: It's a step in the right direction. It's just supporting them.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Oh god, Sharon, Sharon.
- 34:08Speaker 15: Yeah, Look, I just think if we're talking about that
- 34:12Speaker 15: parents don't have enough support. It's not up to an
- 34:15Speaker 15: individual company to make that choice and discriminate against different
- 34:19Speaker 15: people within their employee base. It's something that should be
- 34:22Speaker 15: lobbied to the government, and the government make it fair
- 34:25Speaker 15: for everybody, because when people who are parents or otherwives
- 34:30Speaker 15: take leave, me and other people who don't get that
- 34:34Speaker 15: advantage then stuck picking up the work for those other
- 34:38Speaker 15: people who are rough on leave. So I think it's
- 34:41Speaker 15: something that should be done with the government as opposed
- 34:44Speaker 15: to one individual company dealing with this.
- 34:48Speaker 1: God, do you think we're going to get to a
- 34:49Speaker 1: point where the government goes everyone that has kids gets
- 34:52Speaker 1: an extra two weeks off and people that don't have
- 34:57Speaker 1: to just have the four weeks off. Imagine that.
- 35:01Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 35:01Speaker 8: As a society, we've got to accept that. Like, you know,
- 35:04Speaker 8: if you need a wheelchair, they're those who need a
- 35:07Speaker 8: wheelchair get one for free, and those that don't don't
- 35:10Speaker 8: get one. You know, Like that's that's a fair society,
- 35:14Speaker 8: isn't it.
- 35:14Speaker 9: Like what I say, Like, trying to have equality is
- 35:17Speaker 9: all about knowing that some people need a little bit
- 35:20Speaker 9: more assistance at different times and when when you are
- 35:23Speaker 9: trying to raise children at such a young age and
- 35:27Speaker 9: you know, maintain a career. Sometimes these moms just need
- 35:31Speaker 9: a little bit of help.
- 35:32Speaker 1: I got it. Three nannies for everyone, paid for by
- 35:35Speaker 1: the government.
- 35:36Speaker 8: Even if you don't have kids. Mike e He's a
- 35:39Speaker 8: free nanny for your cat hot from Europe.
- 35:44Speaker 1: You know, if they have to be Brooklyn, they hit
- 35:46Speaker 1: a celebrity news.
- 35:48Speaker 8: Yeah, big, big news on Beyonce and her career. This
- 35:51Speaker 8: is actually very exciting.
- 35:53Speaker 1: I'll tell you next.
- 35:55Speaker 2: Celebrity news.
- 35:57Speaker 10: You like that?
- 35:58Speaker 1: What you got Brooklyn?
- 35:59Speaker 8: Well, Jennifer, she used to be married to Ben Affleck
- 36:03Speaker 8: and they have a few kids together.
- 36:04Speaker 7: The kids now are getting pretty old.
- 36:06Speaker 8: They're thirteen, seventeen, and twenty years old. But over the years,
- 36:12Speaker 8: like the two of them were quite famous back in
- 36:14Speaker 8: the day, you know, as a couple, and obviously the
- 36:17Speaker 8: paparazzi followed them around and three young kids, I could
- 36:22Speaker 8: get pretty you know, dicey at times, like you're trying
- 36:25Speaker 8: to protect your kids and their privacy and all that
- 36:27Speaker 8: kind of thing. So Jennifer spoken on the Shut Up
- 36:30Speaker 8: Evan podcast about how bad it actually got with the
- 36:33Speaker 8: paparazzi was a.
- 36:35Speaker 6: Danger to everyone around us.
- 36:37Speaker 20: If I went through a yellow light, fifteen cars would
- 36:40Speaker 20: go through the.
- 36:41Speaker 6: Red behind me. They would drive up onto people's lines.
- 36:44Speaker 6: Even on a hillside. We were trying to have our
- 36:46Speaker 6: little one play soccer, and.
- 36:48Speaker 20: The association asked us to stop because there were twenty
- 36:52Speaker 20: cars coming to try to So it wasn't just about us,
- 36:55Speaker 20: It was just an industry that had gotten out of control.
- 36:58Speaker 20: If you show up and you're trying to get the
- 37:00Speaker 20: pediatrician and you have a sick kid on your shoulder
- 37:02Speaker 20: and you're scared and that you can't get into the
- 37:05Speaker 20: door because you're blacked by photographers, that's there's something wrong
- 37:09Speaker 20: with that.
- 37:10Speaker 2: That would be absolutely horrendous.
- 37:11Speaker 9: Like do you imagine I often don't wear my wedding
- 37:15Speaker 9: ring right because I yeah, because I play netball, I
- 37:17Speaker 9: have to take all my jewelry off and then now
- 37:19Speaker 9: I've jarted. But you can imagine being that famous you
- 37:23Speaker 9: don't wear your wedding ring.
- 37:24Speaker 2: Oh, your marriage is on the rocks.
- 37:26Speaker 9: Me when I have an endo flare up, Oh Amy's
- 37:29Speaker 9: pregnant or she's blowing out, she's let herself go. Like
- 37:32Speaker 9: having been like scrutinized so relentlessly, would just that would
- 37:39Speaker 9: do my head in and actually with kids.
- 37:41Speaker 1: I just feel like these celebrities complain. It's like no
- 37:43Speaker 1: one's making you be famous. Go clean toilets for a living.
- 37:46Speaker 1: If you don't like the paps following you around, A
- 37:47Speaker 1: lot of them call the paps.
- 37:48Speaker 9: By the way, sorry, I reckon, No, no, no, there's
- 37:52Speaker 9: probably z grades celebrities called the paps.
- 37:56Speaker 2: They want to be pap, you'd probably call the paps.
- 37:58Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, they're on speed does.
- 38:01Speaker 2: He's like, hey, I'll be Cranulla. I'm going for a
- 38:04Speaker 2: swim two o'clock. My shirt off if you want, no
- 38:09Speaker 2: one turns up.
- 38:11Speaker 8: And the big news about Beyonce, it has been twenty
- 38:15Speaker 8: years since we've had any new music from Destiny's Child.
- 38:20Speaker 8: Beyonce's dad has revealed that they are bringing out some
- 38:24Speaker 8: new music Destiny's Child.
- 38:26Speaker 2: Of them that way, how reliable is Beyonce's dad? Like,
- 38:31Speaker 2: is it a trust?
- 38:32Speaker 7: And so I guess so yeah, I think he's still managing.
- 38:35Speaker 1: Oh okay, what's your favorite Destiny's Child's.
- 38:38Speaker 2: The iconic say my Name.
- 38:43Speaker 8: So it'll be for the thirtieth anniversary of Destiny's Child,
- 38:49Speaker 8: which is pretty good. One new song, one new Destiny's
- 38:52Speaker 8: Child song.
- 38:53Speaker 7: It would be amazing.
- 38:54Speaker 1: I don't need anything new, just play your old stuff.
- 38:56Speaker 19: What are you like?
- 38:57Speaker 7: I like lose my brand?
- 39:05Speaker 1: Know what?
- 39:05Speaker 13: I like?
- 39:05Speaker 7: They were good?
- 39:06Speaker 2: What about you Jump and Jumping Independent Woman?
- 39:09Speaker 1: I like they did a Christmas album terrible good? Their
- 39:14Speaker 1: version of a Little Drummer Boy. In fact, can we
- 39:17Speaker 1: get up little drummer boy?
- 39:18Speaker 2: You're taking the piece I'm not.
- 39:20Speaker 7: Isn't it all like ghetto Christmas?
- 39:23Speaker 11: Like?
- 39:23Speaker 7: It doesn't really work Christmas?
- 39:25Speaker 18: Tell me?
- 39:34Speaker 7: Yeah, this one's actually okay, No, it's not.
- 39:39Speaker 1: The Christmas song.
- 39:44Speaker 2: Your favorite? This is your favorite Destiny's Child song? Okay?
- 39:50Speaker 1: Should we do the pop quiz?
- 39:51Speaker 2: Yes?

- 40:26Speaker 2: No, what would you spend one thousand dollars on? If
- 40:28Speaker 2: you want?
- 40:29Speaker 15: I think I'm grove with my partner because he works away.
- 40:34Speaker 2: Where is he he's over in w a so a lot.
- 40:37Speaker 9: Wise, yeah, hard or enjoyable A little bit hard, a
- 40:47Speaker 9: little bit enjoy Yeah, Like, I actually don't hate the
- 40:50Speaker 9: idea of like having my husband around one week and
- 40:52Speaker 9: then having it.
- 40:54Speaker 2: Gone, like like, it's nice.
- 40:56Speaker 9: It gives you time to miss them and stuff, and
- 40:58Speaker 9: you've got three kids. You Yeah, Well, I couldn't do
- 41:02Speaker 9: this job if he was foo, so thankfully he's not.

- 43:04Speaker 9: Yeah, and I had I had a lot of rules
- 43:08Speaker 9: growing up. I don't know if you grew up in
- 43:09Speaker 9: a household as strict as mine, but there's one particular
- 43:13Speaker 9: one that'll probably shock you.
- 43:14Speaker 2: I'll tell you about that next.
- 43:15Speaker 1: All right, and let's do this big hit from twenty
- 43:17Speaker 1: twenty five. Then Ray playing right now here on Kiss
- 43:21Speaker 1: You Got Mikey Brooklyn, Amy Gerard, Good morning.
- 43:27Speaker 2: So obviously we were speaking earlier this week. I think
- 43:29Speaker 2: there's a bloody social clip of it of the naughty
- 43:32Speaker 2: words that I said to my very own father when
- 43:36Speaker 2: I was a teenager.
- 43:37Speaker 1: Can we please hear it again?
- 43:39Speaker 7: Oh?
- 43:39Speaker 1: Man, just tell us the word. Tell us what you
- 43:43Speaker 1: said to your dad?
- 43:45Speaker 9: Well, I have to explain so that my dad hates swearing.
- 43:49Speaker 2: It was like forbidden in our house.
- 43:50Speaker 7: Yeah, what you couldn't say shi.
- 43:53Speaker 2: T like oh god, no, I couldn't say. I couldn't
- 43:56Speaker 2: say shut up, like shut up was a swear word. Crap.
- 44:00Speaker 2: I couldn't even say the word hate. He always used
- 44:03Speaker 2: to say hate is too strong a word. So you
- 44:05Speaker 2: called him So I called him.
- 44:08Speaker 9: A fa But I screamed at it at him because
- 44:12Speaker 9: I was like, what are the worst offensive words?
- 44:15Speaker 7: Our boss is just.
- 44:19Speaker 9: I Yeah, so, but it just kind of if I
- 44:23Speaker 9: haven't painted.
- 44:24Speaker 2: The picture enough of my childhood, I'll set the scene.
- 44:28Speaker 9: No swearing was allowed, that we were absolutely not allowed
- 44:32Speaker 9: to watch The Simpsons.
- 44:35Speaker 8: Friends like that, and you end up such like a
- 44:38Speaker 8: weirdo outcome.
- 44:40Speaker 9: Yeah, my brothers used to get teased all the time
- 44:42Speaker 9: because we were not allowed PlayStations. So like we just
- 44:45Speaker 9: weren't allowed PlayStation, no gaming, no Simpsons, definitely, no South Park,
- 44:51Speaker 9: no swearing.
- 44:52Speaker 2: There was also no junk food in our house.
- 44:54Speaker 9: And I I wasn't but I was basically like the
- 44:59Speaker 9: kids from that you know, the sound of music, like
- 45:01Speaker 9: the bottom trap my dad. My dad was just short
- 45:04Speaker 9: of a whistle and making us march in single file
- 45:07Speaker 9: lines down the stairs.
- 45:09Speaker 2: But I also dated a guy.
- 45:11Speaker 9: In high school, and I dated him for two years,
- 45:13Speaker 9: so it wasn't a fling. I was very you know,
- 45:17Speaker 9: well known to his family as he was mine.
- 45:19Speaker 2: We would go on holidays together.
- 45:21Speaker 9: But when he was in my house, he wasn't even
- 45:23Speaker 9: allowed to come up the stairs with me to a room.
- 45:27Speaker 2: Oh god, no, he was not allowed in my room.
- 45:29Speaker 2: He wasn't even allowed to use the upstairs bathroom.
- 45:32Speaker 9: If I had to go upstairs and get changed, or
- 45:34Speaker 9: like if we would come home from school and God forbid,
- 45:37Speaker 9: I wanted to lie on my bed and talk to
- 45:39Speaker 9: him about the day. Not allowed, he had to sit
- 45:42Speaker 9: on the bottom of the staircase.
- 45:45Speaker 2: And I would have to go up and get changed.
- 45:47Speaker 1: I love how strict that is. I mean, there'd be
- 45:49Speaker 1: a lot of people listening now that weren't even allowed
- 45:51Speaker 1: a boyfriend.
- 45:52Speaker 2: Oh well, there's that too. At least that was allowed one.
- 45:55Speaker 1: Yeah, your parents were really really strict, you know, the
- 45:58Speaker 1: most I had. For some reason, I was allowed to
- 46:00Speaker 1: do pretty well whatever. My dad had some problem with.
- 46:03Speaker 1: Remember the movie marathon.
- 46:05Speaker 7: Had where you went to the actual cinema.
- 46:07Speaker 1: Yeah, and it would go all night. Yeah. I was
- 46:09Speaker 1: just all my mates were going and I was not allowed.
- 46:11Speaker 1: He was like, no, you're not going. I think you
- 46:13Speaker 1: thought there was like petals there way.
- 46:15Speaker 2: So you're allowed to just go out to parties where
- 46:18Speaker 2: there'd be alcohol and stuff. No movie marathon though, Is
- 46:20Speaker 2: that funny?
- 46:21Speaker 1: Like what they pick? Yeah?
- 46:23Speaker 2: I mean I picked on My dad picked everything.
- 46:26Speaker 1: You know what, Amy, You're not the only one I
- 46:27Speaker 1: reckon a lot of people listening right now. Thirteen one
- 46:30Speaker 1: oh six five? What weren't you allowed to do as
- 46:33Speaker 1: a kid?
- 46:33Speaker 13: Like?
- 46:33Speaker 1: How strict were your parents? Can you top Amy's how
- 46:39Speaker 1: strict were your parents?
- 46:40Speaker 2: No one can top me?
- 46:42Speaker 7: Shut up? Yeah, shut up?
- 46:43Speaker 2: And oh I hate potato. Don't use that word, Amy,
- 46:49Speaker 2: that's too strong a words.
- 46:51Speaker 1: So what would you say for if you don't.
- 46:52Speaker 9: Don't like I don't like a potato. I dislike Brussels sprouts.
- 46:58Speaker 1: All right, your calls on. Now let's see from you.
- 46:59Speaker 1: How strict were your parents? What weren't you allowed to do?
- 47:02Speaker 1: Thirteen one six Five'd love to hear from you this morning.
- 47:05Speaker 1: If you've got a story, it's kiss breakfast, Mikey Brooklyn,
- 47:09Speaker 1: Amy Gerrard and now Olivia Roder Rigger.
- 47:16Speaker 9: So we've been discussing the strict household that I've grown
- 47:19Speaker 9: up in. Obviously, no swearing, no Simpsons, no PlayStation, no
- 47:26Speaker 9: long term boyfriend even up allowed in my room. He
- 47:30Speaker 9: had to sit at the bottom of the staircase. And
- 47:34Speaker 9: now that I think about it, there's actually so many more.
- 47:36Speaker 1: Yeah, we are taking your calls. A lot of people
- 47:39Speaker 1: are trying to They're trying to gazump you here, Amy
- 47:42Speaker 1: with how strict their family was. Yes, all right, thirteen
- 47:45Speaker 1: one oh six five. Let's see if your parents also
- 47:48Speaker 1: did all of this? All right, Peter, Hi, Peter, Hey, Peter, Peter,
- 47:56Speaker 1: you are live on the radio. Peter was not allowed
- 47:59Speaker 1: to talk on the radio.
- 48:00Speaker 2: Nadia Hi, Nadiya hey, Nadi Hey.
- 48:02Speaker 21: How are you guys?
- 48:04Speaker 1: What happened?
- 48:06Speaker 21: So anywhere I wanted to go, if I wanted to
- 48:09Speaker 21: go out with my friends, if I wanted to go anywhere,
- 48:11Speaker 21: my older sister had to come with me. And it
- 48:14Speaker 21: even went up to the early twenties when I had
- 48:16Speaker 21: a secret boyfriend. My background Lebanese, So no boyfriend's allowed. Yes,
- 48:21Speaker 21: So we pretend that we're going to the movies. So
- 48:24Speaker 21: she would go to the movies on her own while
- 48:26Speaker 21: I went out with my boyfriend.
- 48:29Speaker 2: Oh that's good. So she kind of had your back
- 48:31Speaker 2: because she.
- 48:32Speaker 10: Probably, but then she threatened me later like I used it.
- 48:36Speaker 2: Against you, right?
- 48:37Speaker 8: Did you ever get quizzed on what happened in the movie, like, oh,
- 48:40Speaker 8: was that a good movie?
- 48:41Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 48:42Speaker 21: Yeah, no, I like, so she was tell me what
- 48:44Speaker 21: movies she's watched. There was one time where she had
- 48:47Speaker 21: to watch like three movies one after the other because
- 48:50Speaker 21: I took too long.
- 48:52Speaker 2: I having a good time with your boyfriend. What about
- 48:55Speaker 2: your older sister then? Did she ever get chaperoned anywhere?
- 48:58Speaker 2: Or was she just straight up I'm not allowed to
- 49:00Speaker 2: go anywhere.
- 49:01Speaker 21: But my mum trusted her more than she Yeah, I.
- 49:04Speaker 9: Think you always know, like I know, like my brothers
- 49:08Speaker 9: were quite good kids, whereas I was the rogue one.
- 49:11Speaker 2: So I think they came down a little bit harder
- 49:13Speaker 2: with me on the on the rules.
- 49:15Speaker 1: Thirty one six five. If you've got a.
- 49:17Speaker 2: Story, Alisha, were your parents strict as well?
- 49:21Speaker 10: Oh my god, my parents were so strict.
- 49:23Speaker 15: Like I was just listening to you explain what happened
- 49:25Speaker 15: when you were a.
- 49:26Speaker 10: Child, exactly the same thing. But for me, my main
- 49:30Speaker 10: one was public transport. I wasn't on that advocated bus.
- 49:34Speaker 1: Yes, they can be funny with that because they don't
- 49:37Speaker 1: trust like the public.
- 49:39Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a rule.
- 49:41Speaker 10: Honestly, it wasn't even that. It was just like, you're
- 49:44Speaker 10: not doing it if even if you want it, you can't.
- 49:46Speaker 10: Even to this day, I still can't get on a
- 49:48Speaker 10: bus by myself.
- 49:49Speaker 9: That's a good thing that way, as though, Alisha, did
- 49:52Speaker 9: you do it anyway?
- 49:53Speaker 2: Like did you do? I mean I rebelled, Yeah, you did, right,
- 49:56Speaker 2: So it doesn't work.
- 49:58Speaker 1: It doesn't right. The more strict they are, you just
- 50:00Speaker 1: end up rebelling and lying.
- 50:02Speaker 9: You lie because you're going to do it anyway, but
- 50:05Speaker 9: you just fabricate another story to do it to be
- 50:09Speaker 9: able to get away with it.
- 50:10Speaker 1: So really that is breeding a liar.
- 50:12Speaker 9: Well not a liar, but like you, when there's too
- 50:14Speaker 9: many rules and the you're too tightly closed off, kids
- 50:20Speaker 9: need freedom.
- 50:21Speaker 1: YEA yeah, Mandy, what about your parents? How strict were they?
- 50:24Speaker 15: Hey, Mandy, Hi, so we're pretty strict. We weren't allowed
- 50:28Speaker 15: to say shut up. We couldn't say can I We
- 50:31Speaker 15: had to say may.
- 50:32Speaker 1: I yes, I remember how to teach you with that one, sir,
- 50:36Speaker 1: Can I go to the toilet? You can? Yeah? But
- 50:39Speaker 1: may you?
- 50:40Speaker 3: Yes?
- 50:41Speaker 7: Who cares about that in life? Like that's so not
- 50:45Speaker 7: an issue.
- 50:46Speaker 9: Oh, there's so many people that care about like that
- 50:49Speaker 9: kind of stuff. My dad always I don't know why.
- 50:51Speaker 9: I must have gone through a stage saying hey at
- 50:53Speaker 9: the end or hey my dad, and he goes, hey,
- 50:57Speaker 9: is what horses?
- 50:58Speaker 17: Yes?
- 51:00Speaker 2: Stop?
- 51:00Speaker 1: All right, one more here.
- 51:02Speaker 2: Mary, talk to me upbringing.
- 51:06Speaker 19: Oh my god, Amy, I think it was bad for you.
- 51:09Speaker 12: Oh my god.
- 51:10Speaker 19: We weren't even allowed to be in the same room
- 51:12Speaker 19: as a man now. I remember my neighbors coming in
- 51:15Speaker 19: one night and I stayed at the dinner table and
- 51:18Speaker 19: I went I didn't go to my room like I
- 51:21Speaker 19: was supposed to, And when they left, I got a
- 51:23Speaker 19: belty I'm serious, And then I'm number four.
- 51:30Speaker 8: I've got three older sisters.
- 51:32Speaker 19: And when they had a boyfriend at seventeen, they had
- 51:36Speaker 19: to get married, but they weren't allowed out and I
- 51:39Speaker 19: had to sit with them even to watch TV with
- 51:41Speaker 19: them to make sure they weren't doing any funny.
- 51:44Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, that is so strict. So they had
- 51:46Speaker 2: to get married at seventeen.
- 51:49Speaker 19: Well, they wanted to get married because they wanted to
- 51:52Speaker 19: get out of the house because there's no freedom.
- 51:54Speaker 1: So this stuff doesn't work. Amy, Like, I'm guessing you're
- 51:57Speaker 1: a lot looser with your children.
- 52:00Speaker 2: I'm not.
- 52:00Speaker 9: Yeah, I'm not like super permissive. They don't just get
- 52:03Speaker 9: to do anything they like. And obviously they're still quite young.
- 52:07Speaker 9: But when they are teenagers, yes, I will parent quite differently.
- 52:11Speaker 9: I would take on more of a friendship role, Like
- 52:14Speaker 9: I want them to be able to come to me
- 52:17Speaker 9: with problems as opposed to hiding it and never telling
- 52:20Speaker 9: me anything.
- 52:20Speaker 1: Yeah, and they can say shut up.
- 52:23Speaker 2: Well not to me, but they can say shut up
- 52:25Speaker 2: to each other. Yeah, I'm not going to come down
- 52:27Speaker 2: on them.
- 52:28Speaker 1: Hey, Brooklyn, you're doing celebt news today. What do you go?
- 52:31Speaker 13: Yeah?
- 52:31Speaker 8: I am the closing ceremony of the World Cup. It
- 52:34Speaker 8: had Madonna, BTS, Shakira, Justin Bieber. Two of them were
- 52:39Speaker 8: clashing backstage. I'll tell you next you like that?
- 52:45Speaker 1: Guards All right, Brooklyn, thanks for the news, but now
- 52:48Speaker 1: do your celebrity reporting.
- 52:49Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 52:49Speaker 8: The World Cup closing ceremony was on Monday and huge
- 52:54Speaker 8: halftime show with Madonna, BTS, Shakira Justin Bieber. It was
- 52:58Speaker 8: the real Shakira at the pleasing But apparently Madonna and
- 53:04Speaker 8: Justin Bieber were clashing behind the scenes of this World
- 53:08Speaker 8: Cup performance. Now it's according to reports, according to insiders,
- 53:12Speaker 8: so neither of them have actually spoken about it, but
- 53:15Speaker 8: apparently there was major tension on who was going to
- 53:19Speaker 8: be the biggest star, like who really stole the show?
- 53:26Speaker 8: And I think both of them didn't want the other
- 53:29Speaker 8: to be an act well, and I feel like.
- 53:32Speaker 2: It was neither of them. I feel like it was
- 53:33Speaker 2: bts right that stole the show.
- 53:35Speaker 8: Yeah, it was pretty even. Really, no one was really
- 53:38Speaker 8: the big thing.
- 53:39Speaker 1: But Donna would be bigger than Justin no.
- 53:42Speaker 8: Way, not in today's You're back in the day years ago. Yeah,
- 53:48Speaker 8: but this is according to Daily Mail, neither one wanted
- 53:51Speaker 8: to walk away feeling like they played second fiddle. They're
- 53:53Speaker 8: different approaches created real tension. It said Madonna's has no
- 53:59Speaker 8: intention ever been upstage. She respects Justin, wants the show
- 54:02Speaker 8: to be a massive success, but she won't let it
- 54:04Speaker 8: become the Justin show. If she feels like he's steering
- 54:07Speaker 8: things in a direction that's too safe, she won't be
- 54:10Speaker 8: and hasn't been shy about pushing back.
- 54:13Speaker 7: And did you see her? You see her performance? It
- 54:17Speaker 7: was it's.
- 54:17Speaker 8: Actually like mostly pre filmed and all like cut together,
- 54:23Speaker 8: and then right at the very end, it's like she,
- 54:27Speaker 8: you know, pretends to walk out to the stadium and
- 54:31Speaker 8: they cut live to her. So she was live in
- 54:33Speaker 8: the stadium for literally about five seconds and the rest
- 54:37Speaker 8: was all done before him.
- 54:39Speaker 1: Hey, JT and Madonna used to bang, Oh, I.
- 54:42Speaker 2: Don't think JT just you mean JB.
- 54:47Speaker 7: Justin Sorry, I don't think they've ever had sex.
- 54:54Speaker 8: And also comedian Kevin Hart obviously worth a lot of money.
- 54:58Speaker 8: He has done a lot. Her net worth sitting it
- 55:01Speaker 8: around four hundred and fifty million. Nice, isn't that inside?
- 55:06Speaker 8: He was asked recently, what's the most money he's ever
- 55:09Speaker 8: made in one year?
- 55:11Speaker 7: Do you guys have any guesses in one year?
- 55:16Speaker 2: Eighty five? Mili, that's a lot.
- 55:20Speaker 8: Have at listen to what is how much he made
- 55:22Speaker 8: in one year? And his financial advice to the rest
- 55:25Speaker 8: of us.
- 55:26Speaker 3: The most amount of money you made a single year.
- 55:27Speaker 3: I can't say that, could I guess?
- 55:29Speaker 2: I remember I'm still still black.
- 55:30Speaker 7: I go back home, gues Was.
- 55:32Speaker 3: It more than twenty million. Yeah, more than thirty million.
- 55:34Speaker 2: Yeah, we've had some great years.
- 55:35Speaker 22: I remember it's compounding, whether it's stand up, whether it's movies, TV.
- 55:40Speaker 1: Or the fifty.
- 55:41Speaker 3: What is the greatest piece of financial base you give
- 55:43Speaker 3: it the younger generation, I.
- 55:44Speaker 22: Can tell you the biggest piece of financial advice is
- 55:45Speaker 22: that you don't understand finances until you and have a
- 55:48Speaker 22: better version of respect for it. Everybody can give you
- 55:51Speaker 22: money advice, but I'm just going to keep it one hundred.
- 55:53Speaker 22: Making the money one time easy, keeping the money after
- 55:56Speaker 22: you made it hard?
- 55:58Speaker 1: So keep save your money? Is that the advice?
- 56:01Speaker 2: I don't know what was the real messaging there?
- 56:06Speaker 1: Save your money is what I'm going with. Yeah, I
- 56:08Speaker 1: don't really know. How good are you with money? Amy?
- 56:10Speaker 2: Are you like I'm actually wary good with money?
- 56:13Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 56:13Speaker 2: No, I'm big b again my dad.
- 56:16Speaker 9: You look after the pennies and the pounds will look
- 56:18Speaker 9: after themselves.
- 56:20Speaker 2: I am an aggressive saver.
- 56:22Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 56:22Speaker 1: What about you, Brooklyn? You're good with your money?
- 56:24Speaker 8: Yeah, I'm good, Like I bought a house and did
- 56:27Speaker 8: that stuff. But I mean, I think what he's saying,
- 56:30Speaker 8: like when you as you go through life, you earn more. Yeah,
- 56:35Speaker 8: but then you like spend more. Yeah, right, your lifestyle
- 56:38Speaker 8: goes up. And I think that's what he's trying to say,
- 56:41Speaker 8: is like you might be making a lot right now,
- 56:44Speaker 8: but until that goes down, you will never learn the
- 56:47Speaker 8: real value of saving what you've got.
- 56:50Speaker 1: As long as you could decipher the advice before. Right,
- 56:54Speaker 1: Amy Shark is going to come in here and perform
- 56:56Speaker 1: live and up next where you're sending one lucky listener
- 56:59Speaker 1: don Vegas for our iHeartRadio Music Festival. Will do that

- 1:03:58Speaker 17: have a whole life before their husband.
- 1:04:00Speaker 9: Was it written about like an ex boyfriend or like
- 1:04:03Speaker 9: somebody you know?
- 1:04:04Speaker 17: Of course everything is very autobiographical with.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: Me is there one in particular?
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: Have we got a story name and shame?
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Oh? Nah, I couldn't do that to him.
- 1:04:14Speaker 17: I think I put him through enough with elder songs
- 1:04:16Speaker 17: in the past.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: Do you think he knows when he hears your music? Or
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: is it like he won't even listen to Amy Shark
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: because of what went down?
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: That's a good point. I never thought of that. Maybe
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: he's maybe he's been in years of therapy. Maybe they
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: all have.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: I'm not sure.

- 1:04:51Speaker 17: she's going to be perfect for the it's kind of
- 1:04:53Speaker 17: hot music video.
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: So where did you guys meet?
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: Well?
- 1:04:56Speaker 17: I just saw her online and then I was like, Oh,
- 1:04:58Speaker 17: she lives in LA And I was like, man, this
- 1:05:01Speaker 17: is this is wild. So I went and met her
- 1:05:03Speaker 17: and then I, you know, contacted the label and said
- 1:05:06Speaker 17: I've met this girl, Devlin.
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: She's a wild character.
- 1:05:09Speaker 17: It's a bit of a risk, But do you reckon
- 1:05:10Speaker 17: that you could fly her over here to be in
- 1:05:13Speaker 17: the video and the like. I was terrified and thought
- 1:05:16Speaker 17: that I'd lost my mind. A lot of people still
- 1:05:19Speaker 17: have but they they you know, they agreed, and I
- 1:05:22Speaker 17: think she did a great job. And yeah, she's an
- 1:05:24Speaker 17: aspiring actress and she's got a huge heart.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: She's a devil.
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: She's a devil shot a red devil.
- 1:05:30Speaker 17: Yes, she she's she's moved from from from the fires
- 1:05:34Speaker 17: of hell to be on in earth.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: Yea and Amy, Amy, I believe you'll have an alter
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: ego that you wanted to.
- 1:05:41Speaker 9: Oh no, yeah, well I have a I use a
- 1:05:44Speaker 9: Snapchat filter and I turned myself into an older woman
- 1:05:47Speaker 9: and I call myself Maureen. And I did shout parenting

- 1:08:28Speaker 9: is made in China as well, but yeah, it's Google.
- 1:08:31Speaker 9: And Rebel Wilson won her defamation case this week.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: Yeah, oh, we got the Neighbors. Is he Holland?
- 1:08:39Speaker 7: Oh?
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: Yeah? Is he?
- 1:08:40Speaker 10: Oh?
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: Yeah, you passed on.
- 1:08:41Speaker 9: That is Natalie bassen Wait's character Neighbors was called Isy
- 1:08:46Speaker 9: Hoyland Hoyland.
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: She was the LOWI. She got it on with the doctor,
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: remember that's right. Yeah, Big Sand cheated. Yeah, but then
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: his wife took him back. So what's the lesson in that? Brooklyn?
- 1:08:59Speaker 7: Ask for given this sheet and you get away with it.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: Hey. Up next, we're going to speak to a man
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: who sailed the ocean on a toilet. Why why?
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: So many questions?
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: First question, why and he's joining us live on Zoom.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: We're going to do that next. You're on Kiss Breakfast
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: seventeen past eight, Mikey Brooklyn, Amy Gerard. We are doing
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: it for chemists Warehouse.
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: Ye all right.
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: So look, there's this popular destination in South Australia, Kangaroo Island.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: I'm sure we've all heard of it. Right. The only
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: way to get there is to get an insanely expensive ferry. Okay,
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: but one, well, two dudes, actually two best mates, they
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: found another way to get there. They'd sailed there for
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: free on a toilet.
- 1:09:53Speaker 7: Right, yes, couldn't you just get a tinny?
- 1:09:56Speaker 13: You know?
- 1:09:56Speaker 7: Like there are other options? Surely?
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: Why are toilet?
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: There are many other options, and we're about to find
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: out as we are chatting to them. One of them,
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: Alex Craig, is joining us live on it now. So
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: it's like an outhouse. Hello Alex, Alex, how doing?
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: Where are you talking to us from?
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: I'm talking to you from a diet helmet? Why? Why not? Why?
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: There's so many questions?
- 1:10:22Speaker 8: I mean, I don't know what's real or what's not there?
- 1:10:26Speaker 8: Like it looks like is it a zoom background? But no,
- 1:10:28Speaker 8: it's not quite I.
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: Saw him inserting himself into it.
- 1:10:33Speaker 7: Oh my god.
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: And there's a seagull that's not a real that's not
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: a real seagull, I think is that the other friend?
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: That's the Okay, I need to understand how did this
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: come about? Like why a dunny? Was it to start
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: as a joke?
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: N well, it is a joke.
- 1:10:56Speaker 5: But over there and I needed a toilet.
- 1:11:01Speaker 9: So oh and you were like, this is the best
- 1:11:05Speaker 9: way to get it over there.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: The best way to get it there? Okay, So you're
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: building a home over there, mate, and it's an outhouse.
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: We're having a look at the image. Now, you had
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: a barbecue wanted as well, so you put it on
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: What did you put it on to get it over there?
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: Like a little raft or yeah, I.
- 1:11:21Speaker 3: Just made a little raft with some forty four gallon drums.
- 1:11:23Speaker 9: It actually looks like one of those you know, those
- 1:11:25Speaker 9: tiny homes that you get out in the middle of nowhere.
- 1:11:28Speaker 9: It kind of looks like a wooden, little tiny home
- 1:11:31Speaker 9: that's just floating across.
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: Is it the backstairs passage?
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: Brooklyn likes that appropriate, did you?
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: Okay, so you got it over there instead of paying
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: the ferry, what would the ferry cost you to get
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: your little outhouse on there.
- 1:11:47Speaker 8: About a thousand bucks with the car trailer.
- 1:11:51Speaker 9: Actually it's a financial move as well, Like you're a
- 1:11:55Speaker 9: savvy guy, just thinking of short rits. So did you
- 1:11:59Speaker 9: actually use the toilet while start sailing across the backstairs passage?
- 1:12:05Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: I use it twice, twice, number one or two? So yeah, okay.
- 1:12:13Speaker 7: PLoP plopped down and float away?
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: Or how does it work?
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: Yes?
- 1:12:19Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: Right? How long did it? How long did it take
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: you to get across there on the toilet? Then about
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: four hours?
- 1:12:30Speaker 9: And apparently you got really sick after reaching land?
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: Is that correct?
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: Sorry?
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: Did you get really sick after reaching land?
- 1:12:40Speaker 11: No?
- 1:12:41Speaker 9: No, someone's ridden me a miscellaneous question.
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: It's not correct.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: Okay, some lies there. So you got your toilet and
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: all's all's well?
- 1:12:53Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, yeah, and there's a and there's a seagull
- 1:12:56Speaker 9: in the screaming seagull bar behind you.
- 1:12:59Speaker 8: If this isn't a like ship that you guys do,
- 1:13:01Speaker 8: have you done other things?
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: Oh? Yeah?
- 1:13:05Speaker 7: What else do you get up to?
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: This isn't the first?
- 1:13:09Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: Yeah, we built a pirate ship and sailed across.
- 1:13:15Speaker 8: And yeah, transported timber across as well.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: All right, are you worried about sharks when you're on
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: this little thing, big problems.
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: There's so many sharks. Yeah, you're not worried about him,
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: worried about other things, having a good time, having a
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: good time.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: What what's worrying you?
- 1:13:36Speaker 8: No, I'm more worried about having a good time than
- 1:13:40Speaker 8: that time.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: Yeah, we love that. You guys are a bunch of Amaricans.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: You can go and watch the full Maiden voyage on
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: YouTube at mister boat Ramp. Alex, good on you man.
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: Thanks so much, Alex so mate, Yeah.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: That was weird.
- 1:13:57Speaker 8: It was a bit odd that on him. Hey, Australian
- 1:14:02Speaker 8: girl has broken a massive world record. But it's one
- 1:14:06Speaker 8: of those world records where some people would think I
- 1:14:10Speaker 8: could do that, I can do anything. Yeah, I reckon
- 1:14:14Speaker 8: you would think like this. So I'm gonna, yeah, maybe
- 1:14:17Speaker 8: put you to the test.
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: Coming up, all.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: Right, Taylor Swift, right now you're on Kiss Friday morning.
- 1:14:29Speaker 8: Yeah, the Commonwealth Games is getting started this morning. Of course,
- 1:14:34Speaker 8: it was supposed to be in Victoria. Paid a lot
- 1:14:37Speaker 8: of money just planning and getting the rights and then
- 1:14:42Speaker 8: and you know what, it's all going to be too expensive.
- 1:14:44Speaker 7: Let's pull out now.
- 1:14:46Speaker 8: So yeah, it's in Glasgow in Scotland. It started this morning.
- 1:14:49Speaker 8: Obviously it's going to be a lot of records that
- 1:14:52Speaker 8: people are trying to break and smash. But just this week,
- 1:14:56Speaker 8: actually before the game's even begun, a new Australian women's
- 1:14:59Speaker 8: one hundred meter record has been set.
- 1:15:02Speaker 7: Her name is Torry Lewis.
- 1:15:04Speaker 8: She saved zero shaved zero point zero four seconds off
- 1:15:08Speaker 8: the previous record that was also held by her in Slovakia,
- 1:15:12Speaker 8: so she's just.
- 1:15:13Speaker 7: Killing it now.
- 1:15:15Speaker 8: She ran the one hundred meters in eleven point zero
- 1:15:19Speaker 8: four seconds, the fastest ever. The world record is a
- 1:15:25Speaker 8: little bit lower than that. That's ten point four nine seconds.
- 1:15:29Speaker 8: That's for a woman. For a man, it drops again
- 1:15:32Speaker 8: to nine point five eight seconds, so under ten seconds
- 1:15:36Speaker 8: one hundred meters.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: I could do that, Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:15:40Speaker 9: If you're ready, you can do one hundred meters in
- 1:15:42Speaker 9: nine point five eight seconds.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: Yeah. You watch all these like if you are going
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: to watch the Commonwealth Games and stuff, and I'm like,
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: don't you look at a lot of it and you go,
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: I could do that.
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: Don't you break your finger by running?
- 1:15:55Speaker 7: Wait? What happened?
- 1:15:56Speaker 9: I don't even know, but I remember somebody telling me
- 1:16:00Speaker 9: your finger.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, So I got a pt that I
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: go to like once a week, and he was having
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: me sprint and sprinted. It was these pants. Actually I
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: sprinted once and as I did a stride, I caught
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: my pinky finger in the pocket.
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I've been back.
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: And I broke my finger pinky yesthetic. Yeah, what do
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: you think you could do? Eleven?
- 1:16:23Speaker 7: It's not having that. Arnold Schwartzenegger is do not, absolutely not.
- 1:16:28Speaker 9: I wouldn't profess to, but I I reckon I could
- 1:16:31Speaker 9: beat you, though.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: Why because I break my finger? Running?
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: Well just well, I.
- 1:16:35Speaker 8: Mean mostly in world records, right, the male one is
- 1:16:39Speaker 8: better because the physical abilities. So it would be quite
- 1:16:43Speaker 8: embarrassing for you, Mikey if you weren't the fastest.
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: You actually think you'd run faster than me.
- 1:16:52Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:16:53Speaker 9: Why, I just feel like you would be a little
- 1:16:57Speaker 9: bit slow off the mark.
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: I reckon I could ham.
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: Are you on the running track running?
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah? Many ways? Yeah, I don't know. I know.
- 1:17:07Speaker 9: I reckon, we should race.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: I reckon I will beat you.
- 1:17:13Speaker 9: I'm actually in my netball gear because I'm going to
- 1:17:16Speaker 9: netball after this.
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: What I mean you've got.
- 1:17:18Speaker 8: There's only one hundred meters, so it's going to take
- 1:17:21Speaker 8: ten seconds.
- 1:17:22Speaker 7: Well, what do you get a world record time?
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: It'll probably take us thirty.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: So you want us to do one hundred meter one?
- 1:17:29Speaker 7: How long have we got? We've got a corridor. Is
- 1:17:31Speaker 7: there a a corridor that feels like a hundred It
- 1:17:33Speaker 7: wouldn't be.
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: One hundred and probably be like thirty.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: But I'll i'll you give it a go, because all
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: you've got to do is like run, how hard can
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: that beat?
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: Let me just have to do some warming up.
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: Sh it's overrated.
- 1:17:46Speaker 8: Yeah, get your fingers, make sure your fingers are warmed up,
- 1:17:49Speaker 8: your finger stretches.
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: I've got my pt stuff in the car because I
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: go once a week, so I'm going today.
- 1:17:54Speaker 9: Put your money where your mouth is, your sane bolt,
- 1:17:58Speaker 9: I'll do you all right.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: Let's do it. Well, we'll grab a mic or something
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: that we can do. Yeah, one hundred meters?
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: Do we actually run around the office?
- 1:18:06Speaker 7: Do you want us to get the gear?
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: We could actually do this. Let's do that. Let's go
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: to Brooklyn's News and then.
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: We'll got to stretch though.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: I don't worry.
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: That's yeah, we're in our forties.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: Now speak for yourself.
- 1:18:17Speaker 7: Well you're old.
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: I remember fifty.
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: All right, emil, let's see how we go. We'll do
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: it up next.
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: All right, so's accepted.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: Kiss, You're on kids breakfast Mike E Brooklyn and Amy Gerard.
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: Oh you're talking?
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: I am we're live' or I like Brooklyn.
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 1:18:40Speaker 7: Here, yeah, I'm halfway.
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: Okay, So we need to explain why we are out
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: in the corridor and why Amy's doing all these stretching things.
- 1:18:47Speaker 8: Yes, because a Australian woman broke the one hundred meters
- 1:18:53Speaker 8: Australian record. Yeah, and one hundred meters and it was
- 1:18:57Speaker 8: in ten seconds. So I'm like, well, that doesn't seem
- 1:19:00Speaker 8: like that long, and I wanted to see which one
- 1:19:03Speaker 8: of you two could actually do it faster.
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: Oh, you're taking it really seriously.
- 1:19:07Speaker 9: No, I'm actually just stretching because I don't want to
- 1:19:10Speaker 9: cause an injury because I'm not warmed up.
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't. I don't do any of that. But
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: I still think, like we're just going to run down
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: this corridor here out to the window.
- 1:19:18Speaker 2: We're going to split right, yeah and then keep going.
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: Yeah, but I still think I'll beat you.
- 1:19:23Speaker 2: I mean, listen, if I'm being really honest. If you
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: don't beat me, I'm gonna be really embarrassed. Why Well,
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: because you're a man for starts and like, no.
- 1:19:32Speaker 7: That means nothing.
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: I mean, actually is he a man?
- 1:19:36Speaker 7: Well let's just do it, shall we?
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: Pretty soft?
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: Okay? So on the counter of three or something?
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: Ye one?
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: Two?
- 1:19:46Speaker 7: Three?
- 1:19:47Speaker 8: Okay, fast, he's got no chance.
- 1:19:54Speaker 7: Here, Amy wins By a country mile got.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: Me and I almost fell over.
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: I'd just like to thank god.
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: I'm actually out of breath and heard my wrist on
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: the black.
- 1:20:11Speaker 7: Eyes got another finger injury.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, all.
- 1:20:14Speaker 8: Right, I've got entertainment news coming up next, and I
- 1:20:18Speaker 8: can tell you a celebrity to get up with their
- 1:20:21Speaker 8: girlfriend over the work inter coom.
- 1:20:23Speaker 7: I'll tell you that is.
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: It wasn't even me of full speed celebrity news like that.
- 1:20:31Speaker 8: Go all right, Which male celebrity has revealed he once
- 1:20:36Speaker 8: broke up with a girlfriend over the work into como.
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: Is in our intercom here? If if Zaane just buzzed
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: in and broke.
- 1:20:47Speaker 7: Up with it, yes you're dumped.
- 1:20:50Speaker 8: So it's Jerry O'Connell, which if he saw his face,
- 1:20:54Speaker 8: you know who he is. But he's been in like
- 1:20:56Speaker 8: a lot of stuff he was in Jerry Maguire, the movie.
- 1:20:58Speaker 8: He's been in one of the Green movies. Yeah, heaps
- 1:21:03Speaker 8: of different things. And he was once married to Juliana Ransick,
- 1:21:07Speaker 8: who is like an entertainment reporter in the US And.
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: Yeah, that name sounds familiar.
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:21:12Speaker 8: So they were only together for one year in two
- 1:21:15Speaker 8: thousand and three. But he has revealed in his memoir
- 1:21:20Speaker 8: that he broke up with Juliana over the work building into.
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: Com So what so everyone gets to know that they
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: broke up?
- 1:21:27Speaker 8: Oh yeah, he wrote that it went something along the
- 1:21:31Speaker 8: lines of buzzing in No. Sorry, homegirl, things change, but
- 1:21:36Speaker 8: you take care. Okay, Okay, I mean it was a
- 1:21:41Speaker 8: long time ago, so maybe he's put a lot of
- 1:21:43Speaker 8: fluff on that story.
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: And that is completely over the top. But we were
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: talking earlier in the week a mass couple. Yes, okay,
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: So what's the rules here? I need to know from Amy? Yes,
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: what you go on one date with someone, you can
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: just never see him again.
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: Let's say you're dating someone for a month of months. Yeah,
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: what have we got to do there?
- 1:22:02Speaker 9: If you're not interested after a couple months, I reckon,
- 1:22:04Speaker 9: You're just honest. Hey, it's been really great at getting
- 1:22:07Speaker 9: to know you, but I'm just doing me at the moment.
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: Can I text that though? Ummm yeah, okay, right. What
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: about if you've been going out proper boyfriend girlfriend like
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: six months?
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: No, I think you need to say it. I mean
- 1:22:22Speaker 2: I think you need to do it to their face
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: in person. Yeah, in person, but it's effort.
- 1:22:28Speaker 9: I feel like it's the last thing that you can
- 1:22:31Speaker 9: just do out of respect for the person you've probably
- 1:22:34Speaker 9: shared a bed for with for six months.
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: What's it like is usually it's women that break up
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: with men?
- 1:22:38Speaker 13: Yeah?
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: Right? What's it like actually having to tell that guy?
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: Is it hard?
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: It's horrible? Yeah. I'm a real big EmPATH.
- 1:22:46Speaker 9: I never ever like hurting people's feelings and so ending
- 1:22:50Speaker 9: relationships is so hard.
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: There's no easy way to do it.
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: Do you hug at the end? I had a girlfriend
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: breakup with me once and tried to hug me after
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: it at.
- 1:23:01Speaker 7: So yeah, it's so pathetic.
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: Got hit.
- 1:23:06Speaker 9: I was the worst I have done some savage breaking
- 1:23:10Speaker 9: up really yeah, really nasty, not proud of it.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: Why tell us the worst one?
- 1:23:15Speaker 2: I think the worst one would have been.
- 1:23:18Speaker 9: A guy I was actually at his sister's engagement party.
- 1:23:23Speaker 9: And we went there obviously together, been there for it.
- 1:23:26Speaker 9: We've been together about a year, and I remember we
- 1:23:29Speaker 9: had some like we had a bit of a fight
- 1:23:31Speaker 9: there and so I walked out, stormed out, called my
- 1:23:34Speaker 9: best friend, said come and pick me up. Drove to
- 1:23:37Speaker 9: her house, called up Telstra.
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: I got my number changed.
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: Oh so you're like like ghosted. He couldn't find you?
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: Pretty much?
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: Did he find you?
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: I mean he knew where I lived.
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: But I love that.
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: Yeah, that's pretty ruts.
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: Such an endpath, aren't you?
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: Pretty much?
- 1:23:55Speaker 7: Or right?
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: We're going to take your last calls. Anything you want
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: to talk about thirty one oh six five. I've maybe
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: you broke up with someone in a savage way.
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: I wasn't proud of it. Yeah, don't worry. The Comma
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: truck came back and got me.
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: All right, anything you want to talk about, will take
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: your last calls for the whole week Oka thirteen one
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: oh six five, Hell and your last calls now with Melissa,
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: who's caught up on thirteen one six five.
- 1:24:20Speaker 11: Good morning, Mesa, God morning, how are you this morning?
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: Good?
- 1:24:25Speaker 13: Good?
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: What do you want to chat about?
- 1:24:27Speaker 4: Oh?
- 1:24:27Speaker 11: I just wanted to chat about your last segment about
- 1:24:30Speaker 11: how to break up with someone.
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, you've done it a lot, amy, you're a heartbreaker.
- 1:24:35Speaker 9: I've done it really nice ways, and then I've I've
- 1:24:38Speaker 9: had my share a share of doing it in there
- 1:24:42Speaker 9: not so nice.
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: And it is funny, right, it's usually the woman. Guys
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: don't break up with women typically.
- 1:24:49Speaker 9: I feel like guys only really leave a relationship when
- 1:24:52Speaker 9: they've got something else lined up.
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: Yeah, so what do you want to say about it?
- 1:24:56Speaker 11: Well, my thought is, if you've only had a couple
- 1:24:58Speaker 11: of dates, I don't think you actually have to give
- 1:25:02Speaker 11: a reason.
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree.
- 1:25:03Speaker 10: I think it's.
- 1:25:04Speaker 11: Yeah courteous to say, hey, I don't really feel like
- 1:25:08Speaker 11: I need to see you again. I think that's fine,
- 1:25:11Speaker 11: but sort of waffling on about your reasons why.
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: It's not you, it's me, blah blah. None of that's necessary.
- 1:25:19Speaker 11: You're saying, yeah, because it's all lies anyway.
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: So you know that's true.
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: You know, Yeah, I'm with you on that. And as
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: a guy who's done a lot of dating, with all
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: the failed relationships I've had, I remember getting some texts
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: after like one date, this girl was like, I just
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: don't really feel it romantically with you, and I'm like,
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: I don't even write back.
- 1:25:37Speaker 8: Yeah, I would rather be ghosted, be told I don't
- 1:25:41Speaker 8: want to see you, just.
- 1:25:42Speaker 7: Don't text back.
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: What about that chick that got that text message from
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: that guy and he said, Hey, I'm just going to
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: shoot my shot with somebody more in my caliber, yeah,
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: or more in my league, in my league. I was like, Wow,
- 1:25:55Speaker 2: that's nasty.
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm with you. Brooklyn gets a bad rep, right, Yeah,
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: if you go out, you go two three dates with someone,
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: then they stop writing back.
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: The silence is the message, that's right. You can read
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: the room if you clued on.
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, Rosetta's on now for last calls.
- 1:26:12Speaker 19: Hi, good morning, Good morning guys.
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: Hello, go for abody want to chat about I.
- 1:26:18Speaker 15: Just want to chat about really strict parents.
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: Yes, Amy copped it. What's the last ridiculous one when
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: you grew up?
- 1:26:25Speaker 9: I mean, even just thinking about it now, I wasn't
- 1:26:27Speaker 9: allowed elbows on the.
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: Table all that. I didn't Yeah, I didn't even touch
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: on that one.
- 1:26:32Speaker 9: But yeah, my boyfriend, long term boyfriend, had to sit
- 1:26:35Speaker 9: on the bottom of the stairs.
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: There's so many rules.
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: What about you, Rosetta, Wow, I had really strict parents.
- 1:26:41Speaker 11: When I'm the guy I bought home who I eventually married.
- 1:26:45Speaker 19: I had to ask the mission to play with my hair.
- 1:26:48Speaker 14: It wasn't allowed to play with my hair.
- 1:26:49Speaker 17: I asked my dad.
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: Wait, wait, wait, So he's come over.
- 1:26:53Speaker 9: You're watching a movie in the family lounge room, your
- 1:26:56Speaker 9: parents are there. Everything's kosher, nothing risky or sky is
- 1:27:00Speaker 9: going on, and maybe he's sitting next to you just
- 1:27:04Speaker 9: running his fingers through.
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: Your hair, which is lovely. I love having my hair
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: played with. He had to ask your dad first.
- 1:27:10Speaker 15: He asked, my dad, is it okay if I played
- 1:27:13Speaker 15: with her hair?
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: Was your dad like an intimidating man.
- 1:27:17Speaker 14: He was a very intimidating man, and he was like, oh.
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: Okay, that's so weird, Like ask him the dud for permission.
- 1:27:26Speaker 2: Running Can I run my fingers through your daughter's hair?
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: Good rosetta, Maria, I think you wanted to talk about
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: that as well.
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: Hello Maria.
- 1:27:35Speaker 14: Hi, Yeah, I've been listening to all the callers. Actually me,
- 1:27:39Speaker 14: that's the strict parent, are you so?
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:27:43Speaker 14: So when my daughter seeing a guy, yeah, or this
- 1:27:48Speaker 14: guy that she brought home for us to meet him whatever,
- 1:27:51Speaker 14: he was never allowed to go up the stairs.
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: Yes, So that was amy. So your bedrooms are upstairs.
- 1:27:57Speaker 2: Right, Yes, bedrooms are upstairs.
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: And boyfriend had to stay down.
- 1:28:00Speaker 9: My friend had to sit on the bottom of the
- 1:28:02Speaker 9: stairs for two years as well.
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: I do remember having a girlfriend. I was allowed in
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: her room, but her dad had this open.
- 1:28:08Speaker 2: Door policial policy.
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: Yeah, so we just.
- 1:28:10Speaker 8: I guess if there's only bedrooms upstairs, then there's no
- 1:28:13Speaker 8: reason to go go up there, like if you're not
- 1:28:15Speaker 8: allowed in the bedroom.
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: So what So you're the strict parents, So what are
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: you doing with your daughter?
- 1:28:21Speaker 15: Well he had to stay in the lounde room and
- 1:28:23Speaker 15: then she went upstairs to get changed and then came
- 1:28:26Speaker 15: back down and.
- 1:28:27Speaker 14: He just had to sit there and watch TV. He
- 1:28:29Speaker 14: talk to me or whatever.
- 1:28:31Speaker 10: And now they're married.
- 1:28:33Speaker 14: Oh nice, So it worked well, it wasn't It wasn't
- 1:28:37Speaker 14: necessarily about you know, locking that in, but it was
- 1:28:39Speaker 14: just about this is.
- 1:28:40Speaker 15: What we wanted in our house.
- 1:28:42Speaker 10: Yes, and it's a sign of respect.
- 1:28:44Speaker 14: And she said an old soul version and this and that,
- 1:28:46Speaker 14: and I said, well, if he feels an issue with it,
- 1:28:49Speaker 14: then he's not the guy for you.
- 1:28:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: My thing was my dad.
- 1:28:54Speaker 9: He didn't want any funny business going on upstairs.
- 1:28:58Speaker 7: In my room.
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: Downstairs.
- 1:29:00Speaker 9: Well, just in the house. I think he was like,
- 1:29:03Speaker 9: I don't want to think about it.
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: So but yeah, consequence to that was I just did
- 1:29:07Speaker 2: it in a.
- 1:29:08Speaker 8: Car, yeah right, like yeah, yeah, what does it really
- 1:29:12Speaker 8: achieve because if they're going to do it, they're going
- 1:29:14Speaker 8: to do it at seventeen.
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: Yeah, your hormones, your little rabbits, right and so yeah.
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: Looking back, but doesn't it make it more fun that
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: it's naughty?
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: Probably it probably did. I did enjoy, you know, some
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: romps and fields and whatnot. That's what I.
- 1:29:29Speaker 8: Always say about being gay when you're like young and
- 1:29:32Speaker 8: in the closet, it's really fun.
- 1:29:34Speaker 7: Yes, sneaking around.
- 1:29:36Speaker 2: It's like you're having an affair, right, Yeah.
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: And now you can just go home to your boring
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: gay husband. Yeah, enjoy that your husband.

- 1:30:30Speaker 8: you will know, but you don't get to see their
- 1:30:33Speaker 8: face at first, and you have to guess just from
- 1:30:36Speaker 8: their voice who they are.
- 1:30:38Speaker 7: Sometimes even when they're revealed, you don't know.
- 1:30:41Speaker 2: Who that would sting.
