- 0:18SPEAKER_07: And Q Oakley.
- 0:20SPEAKER_06: Q Oakley.
- 0:20SPEAKER_06: No, what we're queuing is my shirt that I'm buying now.
- 0:25SPEAKER_06: A new shirt.
- 0:26SPEAKER_06: So that people can go.
- 0:28SPEAKER_07: I'm gonna go get a drink, but I didn't think about getting a drink.
- 0:31SPEAKER_02: Are we doing this again?
- 0:32SPEAKER_02: The juggling cast of characters?
- 0:34SPEAKER_07: So yeah, so what you guys missed was we had a juggling cast of characters with me leaving and then Liam leaving and Mike being here the entire time.
- 0:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so there's a lost episode.
- 0:43SPEAKER_02: There's a handful of lost episodes.
- 0:48SPEAKER_02: We have a couple of those, and it'd be curious if Rob still has them somewhere and could just compile them into one completely sloppy episode.
- 0:58SPEAKER_06: Is that the episode where you didn't mention the DeLorean?
- 1:01SPEAKER_06: Is that the lost episode?
- 1:03SPEAKER_02: Unfortunately, that one was found.
- 1:05SPEAKER_02: Found by a lot of very angry people.
- 1:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that was a lost episode.
- 1:10SPEAKER_02: That's what we tried to make disappear.
- 1:12SPEAKER_02: What did we talk about last time?
- 1:14SPEAKER_02: We talked about Swedish fish.
- 1:16SPEAKER_06: Oh, last I thought you were gonna say like last week, and I was like, yeah, fucking right.
- 1:19SPEAKER_06: Like I'm gonna remember that.
- 1:21SPEAKER_06: Are you kidding me?
- 1:22SPEAKER_06: Last week I had pitched.
- 1:23SPEAKER_07: Swedish Fish and Red 40.
- 1:25SPEAKER_07: And then I was trying to say that I hear that um RFK has reduced uh the overall weight of people in the US by 3% or something like that.
- 1:37SPEAKER_02: I I I had pitched an episode where we get on here and just sit here quietly for 40 minutes and not say a word.
- 1:43SPEAKER_02: Just maybe occasionally clearly.
- 1:45SPEAKER_02: Liam Zona Liam's on the case.
- 1:47SPEAKER_06: Was thinking more I thought that I thought we were doing the Rob eats ramen into the microphone.
- 1:52SPEAKER_07: Yeah, just I ate my food.
- 1:55SPEAKER_07: That's in the last episode.
- 1:57SPEAKER_06: Uh do you think Do either of you guys like those uh mukbang food where they eat all the food into the micro into the camera microphone?
- 2:06SPEAKER_02: I just made one today.
- 2:08SPEAKER_02: How did that go?
- 2:08SPEAKER_02: By the time actually by the time it comes out that's a good one.
- 2:12SPEAKER_02: It's yeah, so I filmed a video of myself eating my old McDonald's order from when I was at my heaviest.
- 2:21SPEAKER_02: Really, it was two meals, but I combined it into one.
- 2:25SPEAKER_02: And it's but I was eating that in a day, and it was like 5,000 calories worth of food.
- 2:30SPEAKER_02: I feel miserable.
- 2:32SPEAKER_06: How did you get to five?
- 2:33SPEAKER_06: So is it the a full sugar soda?
- 2:35SPEAKER_06: I'm assuming that was part of it.
- 2:37SPEAKER_06: Like free.
- 2:38SPEAKER_02: The two large sprites only equate it to 560 calories.
- 2:42SPEAKER_06: I guess that okay, you know, because like some.
- 2:44SPEAKER_06: The burger was bigger than his head.
- 2:46SPEAKER_07: It's pretty big.
- 2:47SPEAKER_06: It's really like the fat, right?
- 2:49SPEAKER_06: Like you get a lot of fat in the burger and the fries and that sort of stuff.
- 2:52SPEAKER_06: Like a soda, even if it's a large soda, sugar is still, you know, four calories per gram.
- 2:58SPEAKER_06: So, you know, I'm not sure it's it's it's the reason that the like the zero calorie uh Oreos are really not that different in zero calories, zero sugar, zero sugar alcohols, which have like two calories per gram instead of four, so it's like uh so that's a large size of the cup.
- 3:16SPEAKER_02: This is a large here in the States.
- 3:18SPEAKER_02: I'm sure a large inner was bigger than that is like this.
- 3:23SPEAKER_02: But it it's yeah, it's it's mostly just the fact like the the fries were I think two thousand calories all in.
- 3:32SPEAKER_02: The McDoubles are sixteen hundred calories, the apple pies were nine hundred and twenty.
- 3:38SPEAKER_02: Like I was just munching down food.
- 3:41SPEAKER_06: I guess so.
- 3:42SPEAKER_06: Okay, so a large fries from McDonald's is five hundred and ten calories in the United States.
- 3:47SPEAKER_06: I like that it says that.
- 3:48SPEAKER_06: Like, hey, in other places it's not that many because it's not that fucking big.
- 3:52SPEAKER_02: But hey, like over there, the largest fry you can get is like this one right here with the little piece of paper.
- 3:58SPEAKER_06: The tiny just the the little words got like 10 fries in it.
- 4:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 4:04SPEAKER_06: Wait and tuck them in.
- 4:05SPEAKER_06: Wait, six grams of protein.
- 4:07SPEAKER_06: That's all I'm saying.
- 4:08SPEAKER_02: Wait, okay.
- 4:09SPEAKER_02: So I got 24 grams of protein from eating 15 pounds of fries today.
- 4:16SPEAKER_06: If you eat enough little Reese species or whatever, like I'm sure you get enough protein from that.
- 4:21SPEAKER_06: You just have to eat 10,000 calories.
- 4:24SPEAKER_07: A large fry from the United States is 154 to 170 grams.
- 4:31SPEAKER_06: Uh, I I looked this up for a video and I don't know.
- 4:34SPEAKER_07: Just under six freedom, six uh freedom units.
- 4:38SPEAKER_06: I only measure it in weight of bald eagles.
- 4:40SPEAKER_06: Can you give it to me then?
- 4:41SPEAKER_06: Oh, sorry.
- 4:41SPEAKER_02: That's uh measure in hectares over here.
- 4:44SPEAKER_06: Hectares, hectares, parsecs.
- 4:47SPEAKER_07: A large fry in Canada is 130 to 150 grams.
- 4:52SPEAKER_06: So it's like 20, 30 grams fewer.
- 4:56SPEAKER_06: 20 less, yeah.
- 4:57SPEAKER_06: I mean that that checks out.
- 4:59SPEAKER_06: That seems about right.
- 5:00SPEAKER_02: Yep, that's gotta be what's making it.
- 5:03SPEAKER_06: Were you eating two large fries or just one?
- 5:06SPEAKER_02: So it would be two orders per meal because I'd always get two of everything.
- 5:11SPEAKER_02: This is uh, you know, if you want to dip into the conversation of emotional eating, like it's it was the idea of well, I don't want to run out of food, right?
- 5:19SPEAKER_02: I don't want to have the the experience will end sooner if I don't get a second one.
- 5:24SPEAKER_02: So I would always get two of everything.
- 5:26SPEAKER_06: So like two large burgers, two large fries, two large drinks.
- 5:29SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 5:30SPEAKER_02: It's uh so the large I would get one and two large heart attacks.
- 5:33SPEAKER_06: We're at two large heart attacks.
- 5:35SPEAKER_06: Would you do like the same order twice?
- 5:37SPEAKER_06: Or you'd be like, I'm gonna do a 10-piece nuggets for this one and uh of a burger for that one.
- 5:43SPEAKER_06: Variety, you know.
- 5:45SPEAKER_02: It was generally always the same thing.
- 5:47SPEAKER_02: Every once in a while I'd get a little spicy and change it, but I was ordering the same thing from McDonald's.
- 5:52SPEAKER_02: Same one twice, really.
- 5:54SPEAKER_02: I was very consistent everywhere I went.
- 5:56SPEAKER_02: I had an order and I just rattled it off and I got my food.
- 6:00SPEAKER_02: I wasn't really looking at the menu, considering anything.
- 6:03SPEAKER_02: And there are a lot of people out there who are excessive eaters, like I was, and like those that I help who operate the same way.
- 6:12SPEAKER_02: It's it's the familiarity, it's the choice, it's it's just like having a routine.
- 6:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's comfort.
- 6:21SPEAKER_06: I definitely get that.
- 6:22SPEAKER_06: You know, you return to it, especially like other things in life, or feel like they're out of control, right?
- 6:27SPEAKER_06: Food.
- 6:28SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 6:28SPEAKER_06: It's like something you can always well, you know, always not everyone can always control it, but like, you know, for a lot of people, that's something they can control.
- 6:35SPEAKER_02: It's it's so interesting.
- 6:37SPEAKER_02: This like emotional eating just as a whole, the way that it operates, it's trying to explain it to people who have not gone through it, like or experienced it or needed it.
- 6:50SPEAKER_02: Um, it's like I wouldn't order food based on how much I was going to enjoy the food, but rather how much was going to come out on the plate.
- 6:58SPEAKER_02: So like I could see something on a menu that would I would probably enjoy more, but then I'd get that thought of, well, what if it's not enough food?
- 7:06SPEAKER_02: What if I'm hungry after this?
- 7:08SPEAKER_02: Let me try to get the thing that's gonna fill me up the most.
- 7:11SPEAKER_06: The most food, the most the most food.
- 7:14SPEAKER_06: I need the most food and double it.
- 7:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I need the most food and double it.
- 7:19SPEAKER_06: You see, a quarter pounder, no, you have a half pounder.
- 7:22SPEAKER_02: Did you do you guys know about the McDonald's released a third pounder?
- 7:26SPEAKER_06: Yes, I know.
- 7:27SPEAKER_06: And then but people didn't buy it because they don't understand math.
- 7:31SPEAKER_06: I think it was Burger King.
- 7:32SPEAKER_06: So Burger King released a third pounder.
- 7:35SPEAKER_06: And and people were like, no, I want the quarter pounder, the quarter pounder's bigger.
- 7:39SPEAKER_06: And and you know, anyone I'm not I'm not good at math, but even you know, we were like, hey, a third more.
- 7:48SPEAKER_06: There it is, more than a quarter, you know, 33 more than 25.
- 7:53SPEAKER_06: So, but yeah, that's but yeah, we're not we're not the smartest.
- 7:56SPEAKER_06: American math's good.
- 7:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah, because you're not getting the the four, you're getting the one.
- 8:01SPEAKER_06: They would have had they had to go half a pounder.
- 8:02SPEAKER_06: That was the only way it would have worked.
- 8:04SPEAKER_06: They had to go to a half, not a third.
- 8:06SPEAKER_06: People don't, what's a third?
- 8:07SPEAKER_06: I don't even understand that.
- 8:08SPEAKER_06: They have no idea.
- 8:09SPEAKER_06: It was half, it's quarter, half, and whole.
- 8:11SPEAKER_06: Those are your three options.
- 8:13SPEAKER_06: You can only pick those for America.
- 8:16SPEAKER_06: You know, two-thirds pounder.
- 8:18SPEAKER_06: No, what the fuck?
- 8:19SPEAKER_06: I just get a pounder.
- 8:23SPEAKER_06: A pounder?
- 8:24SPEAKER_06: Oh, but a pounder sounds a little rough though.
- 8:26SPEAKER_06: Like, hey, can I get a pounder?
- 8:28SPEAKER_06: Uh not right now.
- 8:30SPEAKER_02: Let me roll up to McDonald's and order a McPounder.
- 9:04SPEAKER_07: I'll meet you back behind the dumpsters.
- 9:07SPEAKER_07: Alter the camera's all.
- 9:08SPEAKER_02: And do you want any sauce for it?
- 9:10SPEAKER_02: No, don't worry, I'll take care of that myself.
- 9:12SPEAKER_06: Which one do you want to buy?
- 9:13SPEAKER_06: Which one do you want to buy this time?
- 9:15SPEAKER_06: A grimace, obviously.
- 9:16SPEAKER_06: I ask them for it every time.
- 9:19SPEAKER_06: Do we know like the uh the the the biology behind the we don't, and I don't want to I don't want to know what's going in on in that fucking what I'm sure is just horrific.
- 9:35SPEAKER_07: That horrific shape would win in an in an eat-off agreement or sweetems.
- 9:41SPEAKER_06: Who the hell's sweetems?
- 9:43SPEAKER_07: From the Muppets.
- 9:44SPEAKER_06: Oh, they're like the Swedish chef?
- 9:46SPEAKER_02: No, he's the the big like he's the really big monster.
- 9:51SPEAKER_06: Oh, I don't think I remember that.
- 9:53SPEAKER_02: You might recognize him if you look.
- 9:55SPEAKER_06: I probably would.
- 9:56SPEAKER_06: Oakley isn't kind of super into the sesame.
- 9:59SPEAKER_02: I I was googling if Grimace is meant to be like because I I think a lot of people believe that he's supposed to be a chicken McNugget.
- 10:07SPEAKER_02: Oh.
- 10:08SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 10:09SPEAKER_02: But he's kind of shaped that way, but he's purple and he's got I I believe fur of some kind.
- 10:15SPEAKER_02: I hope that's not skin.
- 10:17SPEAKER_06: That's not skin.
- 10:18SPEAKER_06: Oh, if that's skin, this is a horrifying, this is a horror movie.
- 10:23SPEAKER_02: Yeah, then he's just like a giant anthropomorphic scrotum, and I the implications of that I don't think we can we're ready to handle.
- 10:31SPEAKER_02: But he's apparently the McDonald's corporate lore states that Grimace is the physical embodiment of a giant taste bud.
- 10:39SPEAKER_02: I have questions.
- 10:41SPEAKER_02: Now I have questions.
- 10:42SPEAKER_02: Now you want to know.
- 10:43SPEAKER_06: Are taste buds shaped like a grimace?
- 10:47SPEAKER_06: I don't understand.
- 10:48SPEAKER_06: It's a very weird, she's a very weird shape.
- 10:51SPEAKER_02: Taste bud shape.
- 10:52SPEAKER_06: It's a giant and if you're gonna do that, you make them purple?
- 10:56SPEAKER_06: Why purple?
- 10:57SPEAKER_02: I don't what is McDonald's doing?
- 11:02SPEAKER_02: It says here, according to McDonald's, Grimace is actually designed to be a personified giant taste bud, but real human taste buds look nothing like him under a microscope.
- 11:12SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 11:12SPEAKER_02: They're onion-shaped clusters of cells found on the tongue.
- 11:16SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 11:17SPEAKER_06: So here's the thing.
- 11:18SPEAKER_06: Here's the thing.
- 11:19SPEAKER_06: They were like clown, and we were like, yeah, totally.
- 11:22SPEAKER_06: And they're like McBurger, McBurgler, like he steals hamburgers.
- 11:25SPEAKER_06: Oh hamburger?
- 11:26SPEAKER_06: Dope.
- 11:27SPEAKER_06: I'm with hamburger.
- 11:27SPEAKER_06: Well, McBurgler?
- 11:29SPEAKER_06: The hamburger.
- 11:30SPEAKER_02: You're talking about mayor McCheese.
- 11:31SPEAKER_02: Get your McDonald's lore right.
- 11:35SPEAKER_06: He's just the mayor, and his head is a cheeseburger.
- 11:38SPEAKER_06: Oh, totally.
- 11:38SPEAKER_06: I'm with you.
- 11:39SPEAKER_06: This hamburger steals burgers.
- 11:41SPEAKER_06: Oh, what's that giant purple guy over there?
- 11:44SPEAKER_06: Okay, so you see, he's a taste bud.
- 11:46SPEAKER_06: What the fuck are you talking about?
- 11:48SPEAKER_06: Uh, why is he covered in hair?
- 11:50SPEAKER_06: Oh, well, like, I don't know, taste buds are covered in hair or something?
- 11:53SPEAKER_06: I don't know.
- 11:55SPEAKER_05: What what were they that was such a big jump?
- 11:58SPEAKER_05: But you know what?
- 11:59SPEAKER_05: I mean, you can kind of do whatever you want.
- 12:01SPEAKER_05: I guess you can kind of do whatever.
- 12:03SPEAKER_05: And they're like, yeah, why not try a taste bud?
- 12:05SPEAKER_07: Look, we've had the original form, the character was known as Evil Grimace and was depicted as a large, scaly creature with four arms.
- 12:13SPEAKER_07: What?
- 12:14SPEAKER_07: In two pairs whose sole purpose was to steal milkshakes and soft drinks.
- 12:18SPEAKER_06: Oh, so they had the hamburger, and they're like, no, we need we need more robbery.
- 12:23SPEAKER_06: We need more theft.
- 12:25SPEAKER_06: We need more crime in McDonald's.
- 12:27SPEAKER_06: We need more crime.
- 12:28SPEAKER_06: Grimace is going to take that.
- 12:30SPEAKER_06: This giant taste bud with four arms.
- 12:33SPEAKER_06: What how high were the people at fucking McDonald's coming up with all this?
- 12:39SPEAKER_07: Following the early negative response to evil Grimace, McDonald's stripped away his extra pair of arms and transformed him into a soft, rounded, two-armed creature with a gentle, good-natured personality.
- 12:52SPEAKER_05: You didn't even need a fucking focus group for that.
- 12:56SPEAKER_06: You could have really gone to anyone and been like, oh, that's horrible and terrifying.
- 13:00SPEAKER_06: Let's not do that.
- 13:02SPEAKER_06: And also, when the in the future, when Burger King comes out with a third pounder, don't worry about it.
- 13:07SPEAKER_06: We're dumb.
- 13:08SPEAKER_02: You know, uh the grimace is not the only one of his species.
- 13:12SPEAKER_02: There is another.
- 13:13SPEAKER_02: I believe his name, he was he was very briefly uh in the McDonald's lore.
- 13:19SPEAKER_02: Uh and he was there to promote the shamrock shake, I believe, and his name was Uncle O'Grimacy.
- 13:25SPEAKER_02: You can you can Google this right now.
- 13:29SPEAKER_02: They just made an Irish grimace, which also implies that he's from a different place in McDonald's, like the Irish, the Ireland of McDonald Land.
- 13:37SPEAKER_06: So every McDonald land has a different grimace.
- 13:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so there's like like Indian grimaces.
- 13:45SPEAKER_06: There's like a Slavic grimace.
- 13:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 13:48SPEAKER_02: South and South American grimaces and and Japanese grimaces.
- 13:53SPEAKER_02: There's a lot of them.
- 13:55SPEAKER_06: There's a lot of taste buds.
- 13:56SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 13:57SPEAKER_02: There was a grimace World War II, like Grimace 9-11.
- 14:02SPEAKER_02: There's been a lot of stuff that has happened.
- 14:04SPEAKER_02: Have you guys seen there's like because the Pope is in the Pope Mobile in Cars, the movie, like it implies that in that universe, the car's Pope was shot at at some point.
- 14:18SPEAKER_02: Like somebody tried to assassinate him.
- 14:20SPEAKER_06: Oh, is that what it is?
- 14:21SPEAKER_06: I remember reading, I remember seeing this and then talking about it.
- 14:24SPEAKER_06: So, like, wait, in the car's the movie, there's the the Pope is sitting in the car.
- 14:29SPEAKER_02: He's sitting in a car with a a pod on the back of it.
- 14:33SPEAKER_06: Oh, so the car no, okay.
- 14:34SPEAKER_06: The Pope is a car and he's sitting within like another car?
- 14:37SPEAKER_02: Yes, he's sitting inside of another vehicle that is in the middle of the city.
- 14:41SPEAKER_06: There was an assassination attempt on this.
- 14:43SPEAKER_02: In the car's universe, there was an assassination attempt on the car's pope.
- 14:48SPEAKER_06: Well, see, that's not at least within it in every uh multiverse religion and people pretty much the people or cars.
- 14:57SPEAKER_06: We're all the same.
- 14:58SPEAKER_06: We're all the same.
- 14:59SPEAKER_02: There was also, um, I just had to Google this because I couldn't remember what the the uh connection was.
- 15:06SPEAKER_02: There is a scene in cars too where the cars have to go through a metal detector at the airport.
- 15:12SPEAKER_02: There's only one reason that we've got metal detectors at airports.
- 15:16SPEAKER_02: Because of because of hijackings.
- 15:19SPEAKER_02: Because of hijackings.
- 15:21SPEAKER_06: So there's also hijackings.
- 15:23SPEAKER_02: So there was a 9-11.
- 15:25SPEAKER_06: I mean cars.
- 15:26SPEAKER_06: We don't know specifically there was a 9-11, but there was there was maybe some hijacked car planes, plane cars.
- 15:34SPEAKER_02: How do you hijack because can they I guess if you're inside the Pope Mobile, then I guess you can enter another car.
- 15:41SPEAKER_02: There was the one like the the truck that was hauling uh Lightning McQueen, but like to get into the cab, you'd have to like enter the car's brain, right?
- 15:53SPEAKER_02: We have cargo vehicles, but we don't have driving vehicles.
- 15:57SPEAKER_02: They're they are sentient.
- 15:59SPEAKER_06: Sorry, I this the plane kind of got me caught on this other thing.
- 16:02SPEAKER_06: You have you ever seen the fucking video?
- 16:04SPEAKER_06: Like where they or they have like images and pictures.
- 16:07SPEAKER_06: It's fine, don't worry about it.
- 16:09SPEAKER_06: Tacey's she's pushed up.
- 16:11SPEAKER_06: You ever see the video of like the plane where like it's early days there don't know how planes or flying works, and they're like they just get like the freaking one that's just a circle and it just goes up and down, like the wings are literally just a circle and it just fell down.
- 16:26SPEAKER_06: And the fact that somebody thought that could fly makes me feel better about myself.
- 16:32SPEAKER_02: Because it's gonna push up as well, like it's you're gonna you're gonna get that downward lift.
- 16:37SPEAKER_06: There's no universe in any multiverse where somehow this wing going up and then back down only makes the plane go up.
- 16:47SPEAKER_02: You know what vehicle I wish was sentient?
- 16:50SPEAKER_02: The DeLorean.
- 16:52SPEAKER_02: I I I wish the DeLorean could speak to us.
- 16:55SPEAKER_06: Anyway, yes, that's something he's like, my maker did a lot of drugs.
- 17:00SPEAKER_02: We need those people to win the.
- 17:05SPEAKER_02: Listen, I got a shaky leg, and if you want to see what's beneath the desk, you go on to our Patreon, inmoderation.net.com.net.com.
- 17:16SPEAKER_02: Hands are up.
- 17:18SPEAKER_02: Desk is still shaking.
- 17:20SPEAKER_02: That's called anxiety, brother.
- 17:22SPEAKER_02: I'm sorry, so Cars911 happened.
- 17:24SPEAKER_06: The Cars 911 happened, and this plane has three, four, five, six, seven wings stacked on top of each other.
- 17:30SPEAKER_06: That is amazing.
- 17:31SPEAKER_06: What what vehicle are you?
- 17:33SPEAKER_06: Can you share this?
- 17:34SPEAKER_06: How do I share?
- 17:35SPEAKER_02: Okay, I'm gonna figure that I'm gonna chat or or just uh share your screen.
- 17:39SPEAKER_06: Oh, save it copy.
- 17:41SPEAKER_06: Then YouTube can see it.
- 17:42SPEAKER_06: I want to see how YouTube a lot.
- 17:44SPEAKER_06: I I know I figure out how things wait.
- 17:46SPEAKER_06: We do have it, we do have.
- 17:48SPEAKER_06: You can do it, Mike.
- 17:49SPEAKER_02: I believe in it.
- 17:50SPEAKER_02: I'm telling the audience to go to YouTube so that they can see what we're about to share.
- 17:55SPEAKER_02: Because this is all very important information.
- 17:58SPEAKER_06: Everything we've done so far has been important.
- 18:01SPEAKER_06: Why not this?
- 18:02SPEAKER_02: This is I I think this is maybe more impactful than the Swedish fish conversation.
- 18:06SPEAKER_06: Maybe, or maybe no, I'm not sure.
- 18:08SPEAKER_06: It's not because I don't fucking understand.
- 18:10SPEAKER_06: Never mind.
- 18:11SPEAKER_02: What do you what are you trying to do?
- 18:13SPEAKER_06: I was just trying to send this picture into there and it wasn't working.
- 18:17SPEAKER_02: Just share your screen.
- 18:18SPEAKER_06: Yeah, that's what I'm gonna be doing now because what the fuck?
- 18:21SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 18:23SPEAKER_06: So we'll just do that instead.
- 18:25SPEAKER_02: This is, I think, as close as we're gonna get to my silent episode.
- 18:28SPEAKER_02: What the fuck is that?
- 18:29SPEAKER_06: Look at the like it's got it literally, so it's a plane, it's got one, two, three, four, five, six, seven.
- 18:36SPEAKER_06: Were they just thinking that like what okay, two wings good?
- 18:41SPEAKER_06: You stay with me here.
- 18:43SPEAKER_06: What if we just stacked as many as we could on top of each other?
- 18:47SPEAKER_02: What if we give it a lot of wings?
- 18:49SPEAKER_06: And I like how I just looked up failed early planes wacky, and then like this fucking, it's right here.
- 18:54SPEAKER_06: This fucking thing that just pops up.
- 18:57SPEAKER_02: Planologists listening to us right now.
- 18:59SPEAKER_02: That like there's gotta be when you've got that many wings, probably some level of diminishing returns.
- 19:05unknown: Right.
- 19:06SPEAKER_06: There's a reason Boeing 747s don't have five wings stacked on top of each other, I'm assuming.
- 19:12SPEAKER_02: They've got one set of wings, they they've got the one in the back, the uh the you know, the the shark fin one, and and then that's it.
- 19:20SPEAKER_02: They don't need any more.
- 19:21SPEAKER_07: But maybe back then they were trying to figure out like, well, that's somebody who is listening to go and tag the guy that's the uh the aircraft mechanic or engineer who always does the um Lord of the Rings.
- 19:39SPEAKER_07: Lord of the Rings thing, you know, equates it to uh Lord of the Rings thing.
- 19:43SPEAKER_07: I want somebody to go send this episode to him so he can come on this episode and explain it to us and then equate it to something that is literally.
- 19:50SPEAKER_05: We should get Max.
- 19:51SPEAKER_05: We gotta get Max on what the fuck?
- 19:54SPEAKER_02: Oh, that's that's sexy.
- 19:56SPEAKER_02: Look at that thing.
- 19:57SPEAKER_02: What is oh this is another one?
- 19:59SPEAKER_02: This is it's got two windmills on it.
- 20:00SPEAKER_06: It's got two windmills that it's like, oh, what's it what you call it?
- 20:04SPEAKER_06: What are those things that go out in the swamp?
- 20:06SPEAKER_06: Like you take them out on the like yeah, like a hovercraft where they have like the with the turbine on the back, but there's two of them, and then they've got wings, and then it's got a wing.
- 20:15SPEAKER_06: Boy, they were trying anything, they were really just trying, they were like, fuck it.
- 20:19SPEAKER_02: This reminds me of a tweet that I saw a long time ago, and it it I just pulled this up.
- 20:24SPEAKER_02: It says Cars have windows and can move, houses have windows and can't move.
- 20:29SPEAKER_02: So it's not the windows that make the car go, it's something else entirely.
- 20:33SPEAKER_02: This is from PJ Evans.
- 20:35SPEAKER_02: Now, this is I like some of these designs of planes, I think can be explained from that same mentality of like, well, maybe more wings makes it more flight.
- 20:46SPEAKER_02: Maybe more windmills make it more go.
- 20:48SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 20:49SPEAKER_02: Maybe more whisper make me more full.
- 20:51SPEAKER_02: Maybe, yeah, if if we make Grimace bigger and and more purple, he will bring more sails.
- 20:57SPEAKER_02: This guy's standing on like a scooter that is.
- 21:10SPEAKER_02: Anyone listening here?
- 21:11SPEAKER_02: Have you driven in a driven?
- 21:14SPEAKER_02: Anyone?
- 21:15SPEAKER_02: Anybody anybody?
- 21:16SPEAKER_02: We got any drivers in the audience?
- 21:18SPEAKER_02: Any drivers listening right now?
- 21:19SPEAKER_02: Do you really think we should be above the road?
- 21:23SPEAKER_02: We can't handle the road.
- 21:24SPEAKER_06: No, I mean we're having e-scooter problems now.
- 21:27SPEAKER_06: Like imagine those fucking things flying around.
- 21:30SPEAKER_06: No, no, no.
- 21:31SPEAKER_06: After dead.
- 21:32SPEAKER_07: Okay, if anybody can figure it out, it's the Dutch.
- 21:36SPEAKER_02: Do we have the Dutch listening to us right now?
- 21:39SPEAKER_02: Do we have the the government listening to us?
- 21:42SPEAKER_02: Probably not.
- 21:43SPEAKER_02: Okay, we've got this one right here.
- 21:45SPEAKER_02: This is the thing.
- 21:45SPEAKER_06: This is like the it's just basically a big umbrella that goes up and down.
- 21:50SPEAKER_02: It's it's basically it's hooked up to a riding lawnmower.
- 21:54SPEAKER_06: And it's it's got an umbrella.
- 21:55SPEAKER_06: So it's not even supposed to be a plane?
- 21:58SPEAKER_06: A helicopter.
- 21:59SPEAKER_06: Oh, an early helicopter.
- 22:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 22:03SPEAKER_02: They wanted this thing to go up and it did.
- 22:06SPEAKER_06: Amazing.
- 22:07SPEAKER_02: Do we have any of these in museums anywhere?
- 22:10SPEAKER_02: Like, has one of these been preserved?
- 22:12SPEAKER_02: I would love to have sent this somewhere.
- 22:14SPEAKER_02: In the cars universe, were any of these ever sentient?
- 22:17SPEAKER_07: If they did, they were probably screaming in agony.
- 22:20SPEAKER_02: Like the Wright brothers' plane was in cars at some point and like flew for 17 seconds before getting destroyed.
- 22:28SPEAKER_02: This is this is captivating what we're putting out here.
- 22:30SPEAKER_02: This is this is going to be studied by archaeologists are gonna find this on a flash drive.
- 22:35SPEAKER_06: We started this episode talking about McDonald's and calories and emotional eating.
- 22:41SPEAKER_06: I'm proud of us.
- 22:43SPEAKER_06: I'm I am very proud of what we we did for those four minutes.
- 22:48SPEAKER_02: We really did what I the education that we provide here every season.
- 22:52SPEAKER_06: We do we usually don't provide any though.
- 22:56SPEAKER_06: I can't last four minutes.
- 22:57SPEAKER_06: Are you kidding me?
- 22:58SPEAKER_06: The fuck is that like?
- 23:00SPEAKER_06: That's unreasonable.
- 23:00SPEAKER_06: What are we, horses?
- 23:06SPEAKER_07: No.
- 23:06SPEAKER_06: I don't know what four minutes or four inches looks like.
- 23:09SPEAKER_06: I would love to get to both of those one day, but one day, Liam.
- 23:13SPEAKER_06: We believe in a guy can dream.
- 23:15SPEAKER_02: Do we have any penisologists listening to us right now?
- 23:18SPEAKER_02: They can maybe team up for a collaboration.
- 23:21SPEAKER_07: Okay, but but but it in actual seriousness, I was looking at social media stuff today.
- 23:27SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 23:28SPEAKER_07: I was actually looking because I was finally like, okay, maybe I will start posting again.
- 23:34SPEAKER_07: Oh.
- 23:35SPEAKER_07: Oh, so I was actually looking at social media and everything's better now?
- 23:41SPEAKER_06: Like there's nothing, there's no like misinformation for you to cover.
- 23:44SPEAKER_07: So you were just like I yeah, you guys don't need me.
- 23:48SPEAKER_07: I mean it's all fixed.
- 23:50SPEAKER_07: I love this whole um I as I mentioned, I love this whole RFK taking credit for the drop in obesity.
- 23:58SPEAKER_07: You know, the same drop in obesity that pretty much every First Nation First Nation, first developed third third, first, not First Nation, um First World First World country, thank you.
- 24:15SPEAKER_07: First nation is first.
- 24:18SPEAKER_07: I don't know, because I feel like with we're every first world country has seen a drop in obesity in the last couple of years, and they aren't following AFK or FK, I said they haven't AFK.
- 24:34SPEAKER_02: You know, I will say though, it's the ingenuity of and no one had tried this before the current administration.
- 24:40SPEAKER_02: Their method of fighting obesity is making groceries so goddamn fucking expensive that nobody can eat.
- 24:47SPEAKER_02: That's brilliant.
- 24:48SPEAKER_02: We're gonna fight obesity by making sure no one in the country can eat food.
- 24:52SPEAKER_02: And if they do eat food, they get sick and shit it all out.
- 24:55SPEAKER_02: Yes, and then if they do eat, it's hey, wait a second.
- 24:58SPEAKER_02: Did you just have lettuce?
- 24:59SPEAKER_02: Nope.
- 25:00SPEAKER_02: Diarrhea for you.
- 25:01SPEAKER_02: You know what doesn't have cyclospora?
- 25:03SPEAKER_02: Oreos.
- 25:04SPEAKER_02: Diet soda.
- 25:05SPEAKER_06: Diet soda and Oreos.
- 25:08SPEAKER_06: That's what I mean.
- 25:11SPEAKER_07: It's it's amazing how all these drops in weights in all the countries all line up together as if there was one single thing that might be tying them all together.
- 25:21SPEAKER_07: Grimace.
- 25:22SPEAKER_07: That actually predates yes.
- 25:24SPEAKER_07: You got it.
- 25:25SPEAKER_07: I was about to say predates RFK.
- 25:27SPEAKER_07: Grimace is the answer.
- 25:28SPEAKER_02: Grimace, the giant taste bud, the grimace shadow government.
- 25:32SPEAKER_07: Actually, unfortunately, the grimace didn't come to Canada until a year after the US.
- 25:38SPEAKER_06: You got you got a you you got late grimaced?
- 25:41SPEAKER_06: We got late grimaced.
- 25:42SPEAKER_06: Delayed grimace?
- 25:44SPEAKER_02: Grimace delayed.
- 25:45SPEAKER_02: We had delayed grimace, yeah.
- 25:47SPEAKER_02: How do you guys feel about grimace just in general?
- 25:50SPEAKER_02: Uh is it positive?
- 25:51SPEAKER_02: Are you guys hostile towards him?
- 25:53SPEAKER_07: Is it called rejected for um what McDonald's has done to him?
- 26:00SPEAKER_07: Uh, we've said, we're sorry, eh?
- 26:03SPEAKER_07: Would you like some Timmies?
- 26:04SPEAKER_07: Timmies.
- 26:06SPEAKER_02: What countries are hostile towards the Grimace?
- 26:10SPEAKER_06: What are the most hostile countries towards Grimace?
- 26:13SPEAKER_06: We should just have one of those things, you know, like you ask people stuff on the street.
- 26:16SPEAKER_06: We should just come up with questions like that and just ask people randomly on the street out of nowhere with zero.
- 26:23SPEAKER_02: Serbia is really anti-Grimace.
- 26:25SPEAKER_02: They really don't like him.
- 26:26SPEAKER_07: You know what country I I can tell I actually looked up uh what country hates Canada the most?
- 26:33SPEAKER_07: Because another thing that's being thrown out there is of course um the whole Trump idea of annexing Canada.
- 26:42SPEAKER_07: And um I'm like, um we have a lot more allies than you do.
- 26:48SPEAKER_07: Is it Ireland?
- 26:49SPEAKER_07: Not Ireland, surprisingly, no.
- 26:51SPEAKER_07: Um it was uh what was it?
- 26:55SPEAKER_07: It was I believe it was Pakistan during a 2016-ish?
- 27:00SPEAKER_07: It was a 2016, so it's a little outdated.
- 27:02SPEAKER_07: Uh polling uh of a number of countries.
- 27:06SPEAKER_07: It wasn't all countries.
- 27:07SPEAKER_07: The only one that had a net negative uh view of Canada was I'm pretty sure it was Pakistan.
- 27:15SPEAKER_02: What country hates inmoderation the most?
- 27:19SPEAKER_07: Um at this point, probably Ireland.
- 27:23SPEAKER_06: It's also Ireland Ireland, Scotland, they just don't like other people.
- 27:28SPEAKER_06: Any they're really anybody.
- 27:29SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm pretty sure is Irish?
- 27:31SPEAKER_02: The DeLorean.
- 27:33SPEAKER_07: Although I will say to all the the Scots out there that I will be uh feeding Mike a iron brew when he comes here.
- 27:42SPEAKER_07: Oh yes.
- 27:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they were uh they were produced in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
- 27:48SPEAKER_02: I was correct.
- 27:49SPEAKER_06: I see, I love I want to know more about the DeLorean.
- 27:52SPEAKER_06: I need to know everything about it.
- 27:54SPEAKER_06: This is perfect.
- 27:54SPEAKER_06: I already know it has six horsepower and now and then nine horsepower.
- 27:59SPEAKER_06: Exactly.
- 27:59SPEAKER_06: Right, that's what I said.
- 28:01SPEAKER_06: Nine horsepower.
- 28:02SPEAKER_06: You did flip it around.
- 28:03SPEAKER_06: And it was it was it was manufactured in Ireland.
- 28:06SPEAKER_06: That way I know all these things when I talk to people about it.
- 28:09SPEAKER_06: Like, yeah, that's why I got it.
- 28:11SPEAKER_06: I don't know anything about this ahead to the past, or what are you talking about?
- 28:14SPEAKER_02: It's you just you have to get it outfitted like the time machine.
- 28:18SPEAKER_06: I'm still because then it's just so on the nose, like, oh, clearly no, you watch the watch the movie stage.
- 28:26SPEAKER_06: Like the Mandalorian.
- 28:28SPEAKER_06: The man that I liked it, I bought it because I like Star Wars.
- 28:33SPEAKER_02: Because the thing with if you just know all the facts about a DeLorean, there are people out there, a large amount of people who are just fans of the DeLorean without Back to the Future involved.
- 28:44SPEAKER_06: Yeah, I kind of want to be a pretend one of those, a fake one of those.
- 28:48SPEAKER_06: I can make you into one of either.
- 28:49SPEAKER_02: I want to I can send you some reading material.
- 28:51SPEAKER_06: I want to be a poser.
- 28:54SPEAKER_06: A poser DeLorean enthusiast that hasn't seen the movie.
- 28:59SPEAKER_02: It's it's gonna be a bunch of it's gonna it's gonna be you and then a bunch of people who were around to vote for Reagan.
- 29:06SPEAKER_02: Like that's that's the demo that you're stepping into here.
- 29:09SPEAKER_06: There's worse places, that's all I'm saying.
- 29:12SPEAKER_06: There's worse places.
- 29:13SPEAKER_06: You could be Grimace in Serbia.
- 29:15SPEAKER_06: You could be coming up with Grimace in the fucking McDonald's headquarters.
- 29:19SPEAKER_07: I think I I again Canada would like to apologize to Grimace and offer Grimace the Timmy's.
- 29:25SPEAKER_07: He has dual citizenship.
- 29:26SPEAKER_02: Trump is threatened to shoot Grimace on site if he comes back from Canada.
- 29:31SPEAKER_01: The Grimace cannot come across the uh the border, Lake of Milan.
- 29:37SPEAKER_06: When he said he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue or whatever, he was actually talking about Grimace when he said that.
- 29:44SPEAKER_06: He walked down whatever.
- 29:45SPEAKER_01: Grimace don't come here.
- 29:46SPEAKER_01: We don't like you.
- 29:47SPEAKER_01: They're not sending their best grimaces, they're sending the worst ones.
- 29:51SPEAKER_07: You know who else I saw when I went browsing around social media is our good old friend that we have not talked about for a long time, Bobby Parrish.
- 30:02SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 30:03SPEAKER_07: And lo and behold, the one video I look at, he is once again promoting the seven Sundays brand that he has an investiture in without declaring that he has an investiture in it.
- 30:18SPEAKER_06: No, he's I'm seeing he's doing this in Walmart all the time now.
- 30:22SPEAKER_06: Target rather.
- 30:22SPEAKER_06: He's doing the same old thing, but I am pleased to see that like he he hit his he definitely has he's on the on the decline from where he was.
- 30:31SPEAKER_06: Like he hit his height, like I feel like it's like COVID times, whatnot, and then we started making videos and whatnot.
- 30:37SPEAKER_06: And he is nowhere near the level of reach that he was before.
- 30:42SPEAKER_06: And really, if you go to his comment section or really on anything, people are like, the fuck, what are you talking about?
- 30:47SPEAKER_06: And I'm like, I'm proud of you guys.
- 30:49SPEAKER_02: It's you have to be, and I I I tell this to people all the time like it's you may not be a wealthy person without selling your morals, because it's social media gives you the opportunity to sell your morals for a hefty sum.
- 31:04SPEAKER_02: You will not make money for long if you do so.
- 31:07SPEAKER_02: You know, it's the the people that make their living off of lying, like he does.
- 31:13SPEAKER_02: And it's it's objective.
- 31:14SPEAKER_02: This isn't a thing of of like it's opinion.
- 31:16SPEAKER_02: He's just mostly not mostly, but there's a lot of scientific disinformation in there that he's he's based his his thing on.
- 31:24SPEAKER_02: It's eventually people get tired of it.
- 31:27SPEAKER_02: You run through your goodwill, you run through the people that are willing to believe you, and then now it's you know, you go to the comment sections and everybody's like, You run through the people that have gone broke buying your product and can't buy it anymore.
- 31:37SPEAKER_06: And I think a lot of them will continue to make more and more products and sell those.
- 31:41SPEAKER_06: And I think even the the hardest supporters will be like, oh, another one, okay.
- 31:46SPEAKER_06: You know, I I I think people pick up on it eventually.
- 31:52SPEAKER_06: But hey, he's getting his he's still getting his products into like Target or whatever.
- 31:56SPEAKER_06: He's got his like protein powder in there, so you know, good good for him.
- 32:01SPEAKER_06: People can pay$60 for 20 servings.
- 32:03SPEAKER_07: On that note, I believe he has a partnership with Target and all these other things that uh he doesn't declare, also.
- 32:11unknown: Yeah.
- 32:12SPEAKER_02: And it's not like the products are like dangerous or anything, they're just they're making claims and and supported by ideas that like are just oh are this is non-GMO milk.
- 32:23SPEAKER_06: Like, okay.
- 32:26SPEAKER_07: Oh, those the video started with don GMO turkey, because you know, GMO turkeys are a thing.
- 32:31SPEAKER_06: Oh sure.
- 32:33SPEAKER_06: Fucking why not?
- 32:34SPEAKER_06: I just come back to like so then Oakley's GMO, because my sperm was GMO.
- 32:39SPEAKER_06: Like I was eating GMO foods, so by his logic, GMO.
- 32:43SPEAKER_07: I like I I have to stress this so much for people out there that anybody can put non-GMO on a turkey product because all turkeys are non-GMO, right?
- 32:57SPEAKER_07: Like it it means nothing for a company to put that on.
- 33:00SPEAKER_07: Or if they're putting it on there, they're probably an asshole company that's trying to charge extra for your the same turkey.
- 33:07SPEAKER_02: In the States, you'll see a lot of chicken products that are advertised as being antibiotic free, right?
- 33:15SPEAKER_02: You think, well, wow, what a great company that they wouldn't do this.
- 33:18SPEAKER_02: It's not legal to treat the birds with antibiotics here.
- 33:22SPEAKER_02: So all of them have to be antibiotic free.
- 33:25SPEAKER_07: In fact, well, actually, I believe there's a law that if you put something like GMO-free turkey or antibiotic free uh eggs, chicken, whatever, if you put that on the label, somewhere else on that label, they actually have to put in the finest of print that all chicken, all turkey, all etc.
- 33:49SPEAKER_07: is GMO free.
- 33:50SPEAKER_06: You will find it.
- 33:51SPEAKER_06: Right.
- 33:51SPEAKER_06: Like they have to put like, actually, this shit ain't legal, but we're putting it anyway because we want to sound cool.
- 33:58SPEAKER_07: Yep.
- 34:01SPEAKER_02: Have you guys seen there's a uh I want to give a shout out to a creator on Instagram called Cheat Day Designs.
- 34:09SPEAKER_02: Yes, yeah.
- 34:10SPEAKER_02: I don't know what his name is, I just know him by Cheat Day Designs.
- 34:13SPEAKER_02: And what he does is he will take a uh a package, like uh pull up the last thing.
- 34:21SPEAKER_06: I want to call him chat.
- 34:22SPEAKER_06: I thought it was Matt.
- 34:24SPEAKER_06: I thought it was Matt.
- 34:25SPEAKER_06: I'm calling him Chet.
- 34:26SPEAKER_02: If we have him on the show, I'm still calling him Chet.
- 34:29SPEAKER_06: I actually can't find him now.
- 34:30unknown: Wait a minute.
- 34:31SPEAKER_06: Cheat Day Designs on Instagram.
- 34:32SPEAKER_06: Yeah, he takes things and he's like, Can I make this look unhealthy?
- 34:35SPEAKER_06: Or can I make this package look healthy or unhealthy?
- 34:38SPEAKER_06: Shout out Matt.
- 34:39SPEAKER_02: So yeah, like he'll take uh let's what's the last thing he did uh that was big?
- 34:44SPEAKER_02: Like he he's taking like Mountain Dew.
- 34:47SPEAKER_02: Well, what is Mountain Dew?
- 34:48SPEAKER_02: What would it look like if it were rebranded to be a healthy drink?
- 34:51SPEAKER_02: And he just like changes the color of it.
- 34:54SPEAKER_02: He doesn't make any false claims.
- 34:56SPEAKER_02: He'll just like change the color of it, he'll say, like, it's made with real fruit, because like technically speaking, that's true to some degree.
- 35:04SPEAKER_06: Yeah, it's like one percent juice.
- 35:05SPEAKER_02: You know, like it's made with juice or it just it's or he'll make he'll like he's making healthy Doritos in this one.
- 35:12SPEAKER_02: He's gonna add muted colors to the thing, he's gonna say it's plant-based, because it is true, but it doesn't mean anything.
- 35:20SPEAKER_02: It's still it's a deal, he's changing none of the ingredients, only what the package says.
- 35:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and I think it's a brilliant exploration of the way he's he does he does a great one.
- 35:29SPEAKER_06: He tried, he did one where he it was funny, he tried to make water seem unhealthy, like water unhealthy.
- 35:34SPEAKER_06: And it kind of just came out looking like um uh liquid death for the most part.
- 35:41SPEAKER_06: People are like, oh, so liquid death.
- 35:42SPEAKER_06: It's like, yeah, kinda, kinda.
- 35:44SPEAKER_06: That's what yeah, it looks similar to that.
- 35:46SPEAKER_06: But he did a good job.
- 35:46SPEAKER_06: He does a good job with all of them, and he really shows you he's shows you the different, you know, like what companies do to make things seem healthier or whatever.
- 35:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah, shout out to Matt.
- 35:58SPEAKER_02: Thank you for doing what you do.
- 36:00SPEAKER_02: Uh, that is indispensable information.
- 36:03SPEAKER_02: Because there are so many people that think that like eating healthy and getting in shape is super expensive because well, I've got to buy all the organic stuff, and I have to go to Whole Foods and I have to spend fifty dollars on a pack of broccoli.
- 36:17SPEAKER_02: Like, no, you don't just go to Walmart, go to the frozen section.
- 36:20SPEAKER_02: It's buy the great value stuff.
- 36:23SPEAKER_02: It's the same, it's fine.
- 36:26SPEAKER_06: We should make our own labels for like if we make food only, like it's like approved by Dave.
- 36:32SPEAKER_06: Who's Dave?
- 36:33SPEAKER_06: It doesn't fucking matter or whatever.
- 36:34SPEAKER_06: Maybe we'll put a little like character there or something.
- 36:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 36:38SPEAKER_02: It's the thing is, yeah, it wouldn't have to be like next to an organization or something.
- 36:43SPEAKER_06: It would be no just something like really Yeah, it's just Dave.
- 36:46SPEAKER_06: Dave approves this.
- 36:47SPEAKER_06: They're like, oh shit, if Dave approves this, I'm gonna buy it.
- 36:50SPEAKER_02: Some people would go and look it up and figure out that it's a marketing ploy, and then most people would be like, Oh, is that the the D A V like the organization, the government organization?
- 37:00SPEAKER_02: We'll put that we'll put the like periods after each letter.
- 37:03SPEAKER_02: That's that's the Wendy's guy.
- 37:05SPEAKER_02: He's he's not alive.
- 37:07SPEAKER_02: Other Dave Thomas.
- 37:08SPEAKER_02: Other Dave Thomas, the Canadian actor.
- 37:11SPEAKER_02: Oh, but yes, uh of course.
- 37:14SPEAKER_07: Forgive me.
- 37:15SPEAKER_07: How could I have forgotten?
- 37:16SPEAKER_07: He did uh Bob and Doug with Rick Moranis.
- 37:19SPEAKER_07: Oh, the CCTV guy.
- 37:21SPEAKER_02: Not CCTV, SC TV.
- 37:24SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 37:24SPEAKER_02: Sorry.
- 37:25SPEAKER_02: Comedy nerd left me for a second.
- 37:27SPEAKER_02: We're so back.
- 37:28SPEAKER_07: There you go.
- 37:28SPEAKER_07: You got that.
- 37:29SPEAKER_02: Correct.
- 37:30SPEAKER_07: We're proud of the back.
- 37:31SPEAKER_02: I'm in weight loss fat guy mode.
- 37:32SPEAKER_02: I'm not in comedy nerd mode at the moment, both of which I have a special interest in.
- 37:37SPEAKER_02: Shout out to both Dave Thomas.
- 37:38SPEAKER_02: Is the uh is the comedy Dave Thomas alive?
- 37:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I don't know Dave Thomas.
- 37:42SPEAKER_02: Still alive.
- 37:43SPEAKER_02: Yep, seven, seven years.
- 37:44SPEAKER_06: Speaking of uh rest in peace, Dolly Parton and and uh Tim Curry and Tim Curry the freaking like the same day.
- 37:52SPEAKER_07: Wait, Tim Tim Curry too?
- 37:54SPEAKER_06: Tim Curry died, yes, at 80.
- 37:57SPEAKER_02: This is how you found out.
- 37:59SPEAKER_07: This is how I find out?
- 38:01SPEAKER_07: Yes, I mean I heard I heard about Dolly Parton in public.
- 38:07SPEAKER_06: Some people are saying they some people are saying they waited to announce Tim Curry's death because of Dolly Parton's death.
- 38:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah, because they died on the same day.
- 38:15SPEAKER_06: I think they died on the same day.
- 38:17SPEAKER_06: But Tim Curry's came out today.
- 38:20SPEAKER_06: Yeah, so fucking sad, man.
- 38:23SPEAKER_06: Sorry, Rob.
- 38:24SPEAKER_06: Damn.
- 38:25SPEAKER_06: Fucking it fucked me up as a child.
- 38:27SPEAKER_07: I think it fucked everybody up as a child for that era.
- 38:31SPEAKER_06: I was afraid of fucking shower drains for a hot minute.
- 38:34SPEAKER_06: I'm just afraid of shower drains.
- 38:36SPEAKER_07: It's actually it's hilarious because just the other day, maybe he knew maybe that's what they were talking about.
- 38:41SPEAKER_07: Just the other day, I was watching um one of my favorite streamers, Dunk, who's uh the one I want to get on here to talk about his whole journey.
- 38:49SPEAKER_07: Um they he was talking about Tim Curry and the exact same thing, how it fucked him up as a child.
- 38:57SPEAKER_02: Well, this was announced today, so if it was anything uh you know, before today, he wouldn't have known.
- 39:04SPEAKER_07: Fucking sad.
- 39:05SPEAKER_07: Well, Home Alone 2.
- 39:06SPEAKER_07: It's currently tomorrow for him.
- 39:08SPEAKER_06: And fucking shout out to Dolly, and then yeah, Dolly too.
- 39:11SPEAKER_06: The fact that like she had so much money that she could have been a billionaire, but she just decided to be philanthropic.
- 39:18SPEAKER_07: I knew about um Dolly Parton was because there was a lot of the discussion about her philanthropy versus another people that you have in government right now.
- 39:29SPEAKER_05: She just gave away, man.
- 39:30SPEAKER_05: That's fucking real one.
- 39:33SPEAKER_02: There was uh she had I just found this out recently um because her father couldn't read.
- 39:41SPEAKER_02: She set up an organization to uh send books to children.
- 39:47SPEAKER_06: Yeah, everyone imagination library.
- 39:50SPEAKER_06: I get them.
- 39:51SPEAKER_06: I have one in my oh you're part of it.
- 39:53SPEAKER_06: Yeah, we get them for Oakley.
- 39:56SPEAKER_06: Oh, that's great.
- 39:57SPEAKER_06: If any kid under five, yeah, if you don't know this, you got kids under five, they you just sign up and they send it to you.
- 40:03SPEAKER_06: You don't gotta prove how much you make or don't make.
- 40:06SPEAKER_06: They're just like, yeah, here you go.
- 40:08SPEAKER_06: Free.
- 40:08SPEAKER_06: Oh, you gotta give him books.
- 40:09SPEAKER_06: Kid wants to read, they just do two.
- 40:12SPEAKER_06: No shipping charge, nothing Canada.
- 40:14SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
- 40:15SPEAKER_04: That's actually a good question.
- 40:16SPEAKER_04: She doesn't want Canadians Library Canada.
- 40:19SPEAKER_04: She doesn't she doesn't want Canadians to read.

- 40:25SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 40:25SPEAKER_02: Oh, they did.
- 40:28SPEAKER_07: So this applies to any of you Canadians listening as well.
- 40:31SPEAKER_07: So awesome.
- 40:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah, shout out Dolly Parton.
- 40:34SPEAKER_02: That's um, you know, she was uh I heard she was a big fan of our show, so really she loved the in moderation boys.
- 40:40SPEAKER_02: Did Tim Curry do anything?
- 40:42SPEAKER_02: Or what what was his thing?
- 40:49SPEAKER_07: Mike.
- 40:49SPEAKER_02: He was quite majestic, really.
- 40:53SPEAKER_02: Good guy.
- 40:53SPEAKER_06: Very sad.
- 40:54SPEAKER_06: But I mean, at least eight 80 years old, that's that's a long life.
- 40:58SPEAKER_06: I hope to get that as well.
- 41:00SPEAKER_06: I think we all do, you know.
- 41:02SPEAKER_02: I think we're gonna make it.
- 41:03SPEAKER_02: I think we're gonna find out that.
- 41:05SPEAKER_07: Well, according to Dr.
- 41:06SPEAKER_07: Allo, I'm making it to 102.
- 41:08SPEAKER_07: Is that 100?
- 41:09SPEAKER_07: Because my blood work is impeccable.
- 41:11SPEAKER_02: Oh, is it?
- 41:12SPEAKER_07: Yeah, he looked at my numbers and he was just like, Yeah, you're in the top 99 percentile.
- 41:17SPEAKER_07: You're you're living to 102.
- 41:19SPEAKER_06: Well, you're not getting a heart attack, but you might get hit by a bus or whatever they have in Canada.
- 41:24SPEAKER_06: This is true.
- 41:24SPEAKER_06: I know they don't have buses.
- 41:26SPEAKER_07: This is true.
- 41:27SPEAKER_07: I might get hit by a moose.
- 41:29SPEAKER_06: That's what they everybody just hops on a moose when they gotta get into the one town and they say, follow the only road.
- 41:36SPEAKER_06: Exactly.
- 41:37SPEAKER_06: Follow the only road.
- 41:39SPEAKER_06: Follow the only road.
- 41:41SPEAKER_06: There's only one road in Canada.
- 41:43SPEAKER_02: Well, apparently where Rob is, it's like eight hours to the closest grocery store.
- 41:48SPEAKER_02: Oh, I and all they have there is milk sometimes.
- 41:51SPEAKER_02: Hey, dairy got milk.
- 41:54SPEAKER_06: Yeah, it's literally right in front of him.
- 41:55SPEAKER_06: He's just got a fucking milk.
- 41:59SPEAKER_07: Did you not notice?
- 42:01SPEAKER_02: Dairy layer.
- 42:02SPEAKER_02: Well, that's what I was saying, like, because I know you drink milk.
- 42:05SPEAKER_02: I wasn't, I it's disgusting.
- 42:07SPEAKER_02: Look at him.
- 42:08SPEAKER_02: Look at him.
- 42:10SPEAKER_02: He's an animal.
- 42:11SPEAKER_02: Oh god, I almost did the milk snort out my nose.
- 42:14SPEAKER_02: You know, that wouldn't happen if you weren't drinking fucking milk.
- 42:17SPEAKER_07: That wouldn't happen if I was on wasn't on a podcast with Mike Fritchin.
- 42:22SPEAKER_02: If you had drank something that like isn't milk, then you wouldn't shoot milk out your nose.
- 42:27SPEAKER_02: That's yeah, this is correct.
- 42:28SPEAKER_02: I'd shoot whatever the else it was.
- 42:31SPEAKER_02: What about some like saline spray or something pleasant to go through your nose?
- 42:35SPEAKER_02: Drink that.
- 42:36SPEAKER_02: Oh, okay.
- 42:37SPEAKER_06: Boy, he's getting it.
- 42:38SPEAKER_02: He's he's getting it.
- 42:40SPEAKER_06: I remember I was watching this thing where they were doing like this thing, like uh countries versus other countries, and it was like a gaming thing.
- 42:47SPEAKER_06: And the people from Canada made their heads move like Terrence and Phillip from South Park, and I thought that was like that's the fucking funniest shit.
- 42:55SPEAKER_06: Like, I love when people lean into that.
- 42:57SPEAKER_06: Oh, he's doing it.
- 42:57SPEAKER_06: He's doing it.
- 42:58SPEAKER_06: He looks like John DeLorean right now.
- 43:00SPEAKER_06: Allegedly.
- 43:06SPEAKER_02: It's allegedly.
- 43:06SPEAKER_02: We never got gone for that.
- 43:08SPEAKER_02: Saline.
- 43:09SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 43:09SPEAKER_02: So how is it?
- 43:10SPEAKER_02: How is saline and milk?
- 43:11SPEAKER_02: How do they mix?
- 43:13SPEAKER_02: How are you feeling about this?
- 43:15SPEAKER_07: I mean, it kind of gives a little uh a little hint of a little extra to the milk, actually.
- 43:20SPEAKER_06: People always like you know, spit milk out of their nose, so I feel like there's a marketing opportunity where they just add saline to the milk.
- 43:27SPEAKER_06: So they're like, if he comes out of your nose, then there's you're all set.
- 43:31SPEAKER_07: There you go.
- 43:33SPEAKER_07: I like it.
- 43:34SPEAKER_06: Get Matt on this cheat day designs make plus saline, milk plus saline, approved by Dave.
- 43:40SPEAKER_06: Getting it out there in stores.
- 43:42SPEAKER_02: Does he make his own products or does he just make other products healthy?
- 43:46SPEAKER_06: I don't think he has any like I mean he does a lot of things where he shows like he has a lot of great stuff if you're looking for like uh like fast food, like you know, like oh uh protein options, lower calorie, fast food.
- 43:59SPEAKER_06: He has like a whole bunch of lists and stuff.
- 44:00SPEAKER_06: He has a pretty good job of that too.
- 44:02SPEAKER_06: Rob Rob doing all right, count he's counting one, two, three.
- 44:09SPEAKER_06: What comes after?
- 44:10SPEAKER_06: Three, five, shit.
- 44:12SPEAKER_06: Oh, damn it.
- 44:13SPEAKER_06: So close.
- 44:14SPEAKER_02: And this time I should have gotten only as a consultant.
- 44:18SPEAKER_06: She she knows her numbers up to 10 points.
- 44:21SPEAKER_06: She knows we don't know her number.
- 44:22SPEAKER_07: I only know base 69.
- 44:25SPEAKER_07: Base 69.
- 44:27SPEAKER_02: 691, 692, 69.3.
- 44:31SPEAKER_02: Base 69.
- 44:32SPEAKER_02: Well, how does base 12 work?
- 44:33SPEAKER_02: What is that?
- 44:34SPEAKER_02: It does it, it's just like that's the delineation between the next set of numbers.
- 44:38SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I don't know how the base okay.
- 44:40SPEAKER_07: Uh that just seems like the French French use base twenty.
- 44:44SPEAKER_02: Base twenty?
- 44:46SPEAKER_07: Base twenty.
- 44:47unknown: So
- 44:48SPEAKER_07: If you actually were to translate how the French count, it's one to nineteen.
- 44:54SPEAKER_06: I have seen videos on this and I was like, I hate this so much.
- 44:58SPEAKER_07: Yeah, and then 40 is actually twent two twenties.
- 45:02SPEAKER_07: Right.
- 45:03SPEAKER_07: Eighty is catravan.
- 45:06SPEAKER_07: Yeah, four twenties.
- 45:08SPEAKER_07: So I feel like we started doing catravan dies neuf.
- 45:13SPEAKER_07: These nuts?
- 45:13SPEAKER_07: Tatravan dies nuts.
- 45:16SPEAKER_07: Which literally means four twenties and nineteen.
- 45:20SPEAKER_07: And nineteen.
- 45:21SPEAKER_06: There's this video I saw that was really good talking about like how countries look at different shoe sizes and like how it just like sizes work.
- 45:29SPEAKER_02: Is that based on measurement?
- 45:31SPEAKER_06: It's so every country is like different and it's so dumb.
- 45:36SPEAKER_06: Like they just kind of kept things over from the past.
- 45:40SPEAKER_07: Sort of like a certain imperial system?
- 45:47SPEAKER_06: We all do it.
- 45:48SPEAKER_06: That's what I'm saying.
- 45:49SPEAKER_06: Like this, okay, here it is.
- 45:51SPEAKER_06: Here, here, here, hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 45:53SPEAKER_00: What size is this?
- 45:54SPEAKER_00: 28.
- 45:55SPEAKER_00: 43, 9, 10, and 11 and a half.
- 45:57SPEAKER_00: Okay, let's do the round.
- 45:58SPEAKER_00: Japan, why 28?
- 46:00SPEAKER_00: It's the length of the foot in centimeters.
- 46:02SPEAKER_00: Oh, so a 28 centimeter.
- 46:03SPEAKER_07: I would recognize we have 28.
- 46:05SPEAKER_00: That is completely reasonable.
- 46:07SPEAKER_00: We know.
- 46:08SPEAKER_00: France?
- 46:08SPEAKER_00: Paris points.
- 46:09SPEAKER_00: What's a Paris point?
- 46:11SPEAKER_00: Two-thirds of a centimetre.
- 46:12SPEAKER_00: Why two-thirds?
- 46:13SPEAKER_00: No one knows.
- 46:14SPEAKER_00: Possibly the length of a standard stitch back in the day.
- 46:16SPEAKER_00: Hang on.
- 46:16SPEAKER_00: 43 Paris points is 28.7 centimeters.
- 46:19SPEAKER_00: But Japan says the foot's 28.
- 46:21SPEAKER_00: We don't measure the foot.
- 46:22SPEAKER_00: We measure the last.
- 46:24SPEAKER_00: What's the last?
- 46:25SPEAKER_00: It's a wooden foot the shoe's built around.
- 46:27SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 46:28SPEAKER_00: UK, what do you use?
- 46:29SPEAKER_00: Barley corns.
- 46:30SPEAKER_00: Come again?
- 46:31SPEAKER_00: A third of an inch.
- 46:32SPEAKER_00: The length of one grain of barley.
- 46:33SPEAKER_00: When was that decided?
- 46:35SPEAKER_00: 1324 by Edward II.
- 46:37SPEAKER_00: Really?
- 46:37SPEAKER_00: That's the legend.
- 46:38SPEAKER_00: Well, hang on.
- 46:39SPEAKER_00: I wear a size nine, but nine barley corns is only three inches.
- 46:42SPEAKER_00: A size nine is thirty-four barley corns.
- 46:45SPEAKER_00: Then where does the nine come from?
- 46:46SPEAKER_00: Well, you start with size zero, which is four inches, and then go all the way up to thirteen and then start again from one.
- 46:52SPEAKER_00: You start again?
- 46:53SPEAKER_00: The second count is adult sizes.
- 46:55SPEAKER_00: Why not just keep counting after 13?
- 46:56SPEAKER_00: 13 felt like enough.
- 46:58SPEAKER_00: But again, 34 barley corns is 11 and a third inches, which is 29 centimeters.
- 47:02SPEAKER_00: We also measure the last.
- 47:04SPEAKER_00: US?
- 47:05SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 47:05SPEAKER_00: Also the last.
- 47:06SPEAKER_00: What about your sizes?
- 47:07SPEAKER_00: Please tell me you use one of these.
- 47:08SPEAKER_00: We use the UK's.
- 47:09SPEAKER_00: Oh.
- 47:10SPEAKER_00: Ish.
- 47:11SPEAKER_00: Ish.
- 47:11SPEAKER_00: The numbers are an approximation.
- 47:13SPEAKER_00: They run a little bigger.
- 47:14SPEAKER_00: Bigger by how much?
- 47:15SPEAKER_00: Usually one size, but it depends on the brand.
- 47:17SPEAKER_00: How can it depend on the brand?
- 47:18SPEAKER_00: Each brand cars its own last.
- 47:20SPEAKER_00: Also, each shoe has two sizes.
- 47:22SPEAKER_00: That men's ten is a women's eleven and a half.
- 47:24SPEAKER_00: Is there any hope?
- 47:25SPEAKER_00: There is an ISO standard.
- 47:26SPEAKER_00: It's called Mondo Point, the length of the foot in millimeters.
- 47:29SPEAKER_00: So just like yours, but with an extra digit.
- 47:30SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 47:31SPEAKER_00: Who uses it?
- 47:31SPEAKER_00: Ski boots.
- 47:32SPEAKER_00: Just ski boots?
- 47:33SPEAKER_00: And several militaries.
- 47:34SPEAKER_00: So the one system everyone agreed on is used for skiing and war.
- 47:37SPEAKER_00: Correct.
- 47:38SPEAKER_00: So if I walk into a shop and ask for a 280, you will be shown ski boots or enlisted.
- 47:42SPEAKER_00: What size is this?
- 47:43SPEAKER_06: So like it's it's like there's so many things that we just started doing long ago, and we're like, fuck it.
- 47:50SPEAKER_06: Just roll with it.
- 47:51SPEAKER_06: We could change it to make it so much more sense.
- 47:53SPEAKER_06: Again, America, great example of that.
- 47:55SPEAKER_06: We're just like, nah, no, no.
- 47:57SPEAKER_06: We're doing all fucking hectares and and whatnot.
- 48:00SPEAKER_06: Nobody understands any of this.
- 48:02SPEAKER_06: But we're just we're just rolling with it.
- 48:04SPEAKER_02: First off, can we can we shout out who that was?
- 48:07SPEAKER_06: Yes, we can.
- 48:08SPEAKER_06: That's a good idea.
- 48:09SPEAKER_06: That is Tom Bacons.
- 48:12SPEAKER_06: Tom Bacons Bacons.
- 48:14SPEAKER_02: Tom Bacons, thank you for sharing that absolute catastrophe with us.
- 48:19SPEAKER_02: I mean, that sounded like the way that we just describe like imperial units here in the States, like to anybody else, but it's the world's kind of messy, huh?
- 48:29SPEAKER_05: That's what I'm saying.
- 48:30SPEAKER_02: We're all fucked up, we're all fucked up.
- 48:33SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 48:34SPEAKER_07: Secondly, can we shout out the fact that hectares are metric, not imperial?
- 48:39SPEAKER_06: Oh, is it metric?
- 48:40SPEAKER_06: I don't, I don't even.
- 48:41SPEAKER_06: I'm gonna be honest, I have no idea.
- 48:43SPEAKER_06: What are parsecs?
- 48:44SPEAKER_07: Um Starbucks.
- 48:49SPEAKER_06: Star Wars.
- 48:50SPEAKER_06: Is that real?
- 48:51SPEAKER_06: Is it a thing?
- 48:52SPEAKER_06: I don't think it's real.
- 48:53SPEAKER_06: I have no idea.
- 48:54SPEAKER_06: It's just like Star Wars.
- 48:56SPEAKER_02: It is a unit of length used in astronomy to measure vast distances to objects outside of our solar system.
- 49:03SPEAKER_06: I thought it was just a Star Wars thing.
- 49:05SPEAKER_06: It's real.
- 49:07SPEAKER_02: It is a real thing.
- 49:08SPEAKER_06: This is real and legitimate.
- 49:10SPEAKER_06: I'm I'm happy now.
- 49:12SPEAKER_06: I've said before now I've started to get happy that I realized parsecs is real.
- 49:17SPEAKER_02: It is equal to 3.26 light years.
- 49:21SPEAKER_06: Oh, is it metric or imperial?
- 49:23SPEAKER_02: Well, a light year okay, wait.
- 49:24SPEAKER_02: A parsec is hold on.
- 49:27SPEAKER_02: Is a parsec metric or imperial?
- 49:32SPEAKER_02: It's not telling me which one it is.
- 49:33SPEAKER_02: Oh, wait, hold on.
- 49:34SPEAKER_02: Reddit has it.
- 49:35SPEAKER_02: Somebody says here, is it con how could you say something so controversial yet so bold?
- 49:42SPEAKER_02: Everybody's just talking about fucking Star Wars.
- 49:45SPEAKER_07: Can we can we get so while it is not part of the standard metric system or the imperial system, scientists often express its value using metrics metric measurements.
- 49:58SPEAKER_06: Oh, so it's a different thing, and then you gotta use metric within parse within that different thing.
- 50:04SPEAKER_07: One parsec equals approximately 3.085 times 10 to the is that 16?
- 50:13SPEAKER_07: 10 to the 16 meters.
- 50:15SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 50:15SPEAKER_06: Real listen, we're figuring don't say you didn't learn anything on in moderation.
- 50:20SPEAKER_06: That's all I'm saying.
- 50:21SPEAKER_02: It's look, you you they think they're tuning in just for health and fitness stuff.
- 50:26SPEAKER_02: They get a little bit of that, and then they learn about the world.
- 50:29SPEAKER_06: They get almost none of that.
- 50:31SPEAKER_06: They get they get extremely little health and nutrition.
- 50:36SPEAKER_06: They get three minutes at the beginning of the podcast.
- 50:39SPEAKER_06: Look, and then they get yeah, then they get like what the shape of a of ducks' dicks are, and like the how where DeLoreans were were manufactured.
- 50:52SPEAKER_07: Wait, have we talked about the shape of duck's dicks?
- 50:54SPEAKER_06: I'm sure at some point I have uh corkscrew is corkscrew shaped.
- 50:59SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 50:59SPEAKER_07: It's a corkscrew.
- 51:00SPEAKER_06: Yeah, if you didn't know that, that's I'm sorry.
- 51:02SPEAKER_07: It's shaped like a I feel like we hadn't actually talked about that.
- 51:07SPEAKER_06: I feel like I must have mentioned it at the time.
- 51:09SPEAKER_07: You guys just you just you just spoiled next week's episode.
- 51:12SPEAKER_02: Tune in for part two of this riveting episode of inmoderation.
- 51:16SPEAKER_02: We talk about the size of and shape of a duck's cock.
- 51:20SPEAKER_03: A duck cock.
- 51:21SPEAKER_03: And then we do a cock cocks.
- 51:23SPEAKER_03: Cocks a cocks cock.
- 51:25SPEAKER_02: We're just gonna, every animal with a penis is going to be reviewed here.
- 51:31SPEAKER_02: We're gonna rank them.
- 51:33SPEAKER_06: Oh no.
- 51:34SPEAKER_06: We have a tier list.
- 51:35SPEAKER_03: Oh gosh.
- 51:37SPEAKER_06: Yeah, that episode's gonna be fucking rough.
- 51:40SPEAKER_02: Who can we bring on that would be just awful?
- 51:44SPEAKER_06: We bring someone on and we don't tell them that's what it's for.
- 51:48SPEAKER_06: We just fucking blindside them with the fact that this episode is a tier list of penises across the animal kingdom.
- 51:57SPEAKER_07: So what you're saying is Neil deGrasse Tyson.
- 52:00SPEAKER_06: I think he might not hit it, he might be on board.
- 52:03SPEAKER_06: He might think it might think it's fun.
- 52:05SPEAKER_02: He might play ball, he might play cock and balls on that one.
- 52:08SPEAKER_02: I that that could be I could see him playing Neil deGrasse Tyson.
- 52:13SPEAKER_06: Duck is making it.
- 52:14SPEAKER_06: Duck is on the You know what?
- 52:15SPEAKER_07: You know what?
- 52:16SPEAKER_07: What's he gonna?
- 52:17SPEAKER_07: There is a person that has been writing in wanting to be on the podcast, right?
- 52:25SPEAKER_06: If we just bring him on and we just say this is what we're talking about.
- 52:28SPEAKER_02: First off, who's writing in ever?
- 52:31SPEAKER_02: Secondly, why?
- 52:32SPEAKER_07: Third, what the fuck?
- 52:34SPEAKER_07: So, okay, this person uh writing out has been has written considerably actually real stuff, not the auto crap that I usually get.
- 52:43SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 52:44SPEAKER_07: Uh wanting to be on.
- 52:45SPEAKER_07: And the only reason I haven't said yes so far is because I've asked them for verification as to who they are in some manner or something.
- 52:54SPEAKER_07: But obviously, if they are listening to this, that's always a good sign that they actually do listen to the podcast and don't just hit our guts.
- 53:03SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 53:03SPEAKER_07: Because they listened all the way to the damn end of the podcast.
- 53:07SPEAKER_07: So uh I won't say her name because she knows who she is.
- 53:13SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 53:13SPEAKER_06: But if you hear this, maybe she'll be interested in talking about hemipens, which are snakes and lizards, have two paired reproductive organs.
- 53:23SPEAKER_06: So they basically have two penises.
- 53:24SPEAKER_06: So I feel like I want to think they gotta make the list.
- 53:28SPEAKER_06: They gotta make the calls.
- 53:29SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 53:29SPEAKER_02: And we uh do cloakas make this list?
- 53:32SPEAKER_02: Because it doesn't take into account.
- 53:34SPEAKER_06: That's a different list.
- 53:35SPEAKER_02: Different lists we gotta rank the cloaca.
- 53:39SPEAKER_06: Yoshi, Yoshi's top one.
- 53:42SPEAKER_06: Universal Hall.
- 53:43SPEAKER_07: You know what?
- 53:44SPEAKER_07: Uh why why do people write in to want to be onto the show?
- 53:47SPEAKER_07: I do.
- 53:47SPEAKER_02: Oh, I just want to let me put this out there for this mystery person.
- 53:52SPEAKER_02: Hi, if you are trying to remain anonymous to the public, we will not reveal your identity.
- 53:58SPEAKER_02: You just have to verify to us who you are.
- 54:00SPEAKER_02: We will keep you private.
- 54:02SPEAKER_02: You don't even have to be on camera if you don't want to be.
- 54:05SPEAKER_02: Uh, but oh, they I'm pretty sure they do want to be.
- 54:07SPEAKER_02: Oh, okay.
- 54:09SPEAKER_02: Cool.
- 54:09SPEAKER_02: So if you just don't want your name out there, we'll keep your name out there.
- 54:12SPEAKER_02: This could be a fun segment.
- 54:13SPEAKER_07: It was just a case of um because I didn't know who they were.
- 54:18SPEAKER_07: I didn't know if they were just some troll that wanted to come here and be like bad word, bad word, bad word.
- 54:26SPEAKER_06: What if like we did that as like a segment where like we brought on like someone, a listener, and then just blindside them with the weirdest fucking topic imaginable.
- 54:36SPEAKER_06: That could be actually pretty fun.
- 54:38SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 54:38SPEAKER_07: Well, you know who you are, you know how to volunteer for that.
- 54:42SPEAKER_07: Wait a minute.
- 54:43SPEAKER_07: Well, I guess they know it this time, but it's I will check my inbox this weekend.
- 54:47SPEAKER_02: Here's the thing.
- 54:48SPEAKER_02: We used to do that.
- 54:49SPEAKER_02: It was called under moderation.
- 54:52SPEAKER_02: Rob, when are you bringing it back?
- 54:54SPEAKER_02: Yeah, the look of shame.
- 54:55SPEAKER_02: Glance down.
- 54:56SPEAKER_02: Okay, so here, okay.
- 54:57SPEAKER_07: Do we want to get into this?
- 54:58SPEAKER_07: Do we want to get into this?
- 54:59SPEAKER_07: Yes.
- 55:00SPEAKER_07: So here's the thing.
- 55:01SPEAKER_07: Mike, what would your role be in on under moderation?
- 55:06SPEAKER_07: Undertaker.
- 55:07SPEAKER_07: Because we've got Liam.
- 55:08SPEAKER_07: Liam, Liam's the Liam's the judge, Liam's the point giver.
- 55:12SPEAKER_07: I give the people the job that they're supposed to do to entertain Liam.
- 55:16SPEAKER_02: I'm probably just the Paul Lind in this Hollywood squares.
- 55:19SPEAKER_02: I I would imagine.
- 55:21SPEAKER_02: I that's probably gonna make the gen alphas go wild.
- 55:24SPEAKER_02: That reference right there.
- 55:26SPEAKER_02: Um I I I feel like I'm just the quip guy.
- 55:30SPEAKER_02: You know, I I I just the the other ones are the stars, and I just I come in and you know drop a couple of zingers and bangers and such.
- 55:37SPEAKER_02: I I I don't know.
- 55:38SPEAKER_02: I I really don't know what I would be.
- 55:40SPEAKER_06: I uh to have a staff of three uh seems excessive in a game that's probably this whole podcast is excessive three others, so like at that point, we yeah, I just have a referee.
- 55:52SPEAKER_06: Yeah, you're the other mic.
- 55:53SPEAKER_06: You're the sideline judge.
- 55:55SPEAKER_02: You figure out you figure out your role and we'll talk.
- 55:58SPEAKER_02: We're the Stantler and Waldorf referees, so we just constantly argue, but we're always talking about how we're gonna be Statler and Waldorf.
- 56:05SPEAKER_07: I'm all for it.
- 56:07SPEAKER_01: Light answer is not half bad.
- 56:09SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's all bad.
- 56:10SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we'll uh we'll bring it back.
- 56:11SPEAKER_02: We got this.
- 56:12SPEAKER_02: We clap him with one hand under the desk.
- 56:15SPEAKER_02: And that's that's uh in moderation.
- 56:17SPEAKER_02: Look forward to under moderation, which it's it's been a while since we've had one.
- 56:22SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 56:23SPEAKER_02: One more thing.
- 56:25SPEAKER_07: I was I I I pitched this while I was streaming.
- 56:27SPEAKER_07: Some sort of gaming spin-off.
- 56:31SPEAKER_07: I uh I don't know, somehow work moderation into there.
- 56:34SPEAKER_07: Yeah, because there was actually there was a couple things that people were asking me about games that were like, you know what'd be great is having a podcast to get like the developer or something on to talk about that and then shit talk about other games and all this other stuff on.
- 56:52SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 56:52SPEAKER_06: I wanna I wanna play GeoGusser on uh gaming in moderation.
- 56:56SPEAKER_07: We could do that.
- 56:57SPEAKER_06: I wanna we can do that.
- 56:59SPEAKER_06: I'm in I'm I wanna I wanna do that.
- 57:03SPEAKER_07: All right.
- 57:03SPEAKER_07: So apparently look forward to under moderation and gaming in moderation, it's gonna be fun.
