Scripture: John 4:4–6 — “4 Now he had to go through Samaria. 5 So he came to a town in Samaria called Sychar, near the plot of ground Jacob had given to his son Joseph. 6 Jacob’s well was there, and Jesus, tired as he was from the journey, sat down by the well. It was about noon. ”
Reflection:
Jesus did not take the usual route around Samaria. He took the road that led straight to the Samaritan woman — and to her pain, her shame, and her thirst. In the same way, Jesus is intentional in meeting you in your own story. He is not waiting for you to “get it together”…
