- 0:05Speaker 1: Launch Control, this is Houston, we are going to launch. 5.
- 0:08Speaker 2: 4, 3, 2, 1.
- 0:11Speaker 1: It's Chris X Radio.
- 0:14Speaker 3: Chris X.
- 0:17Speaker 4: Radio. Chris X Radio. And now, your host.
- 0:21Speaker 5: I believe this is going to be our finest hour.
- 0:23Speaker 6: Chris X.
- 1:00Speaker 4: You know, the weekends are getting shorter and shorter. Well,
- 1:04Speaker 4: I don't know if they're actually getting shorter, but they
- 1:05Speaker 4: seem shorter to me. Good afternoon and welcome to Chris
- 1:08Speaker 4: X Radio. I am the aforementioned X-Man. Glad to have
- 1:12Speaker 4: you here with us. as we bring you that gift
- 1:15Speaker 4: beyond price that is almost free, ladies and gentlemen, we
- 1:19Speaker 4: bring you the spirit of dog radio as we have
- 1:21Speaker 4: assumed control of the airwaves and we'll maintain control of
- 1:25Speaker 4: these airwaves for the next couple hours. And that is
- 1:29Speaker 4: the goal folks. We got the goal lined up. We're
- 1:31Speaker 4: going to maintain control of this, this hizzy and just
- 1:35Speaker 4: do everything we can to make sure that we, uh, well,
- 1:37Speaker 4: we bring you important stuff and then, Stupid stuff that
- 1:41Speaker 4: I talk about, so there is that. I tend to
- 1:44Speaker 4: do a lot of that. At least I feel I do. Anyway,
- 1:47Speaker 4: good afternoon. Glad to have you here with us on
- 1:49Speaker 4: the Old Chris X Radio Show. A lot going on.
- 1:51Speaker 4: It is your Manic Monday edition of the program. I
- 1:54Speaker 4: hope you all had a good, safe, happy weekend. Nobody
- 1:58Speaker 4: got too hot. It was a little warm out there.
- 2:00Speaker 4: I noticed today and yesterday it wasn't quite as warm
- 2:03Speaker 4: as it's been, but it's still hot. When 92 seems
- 2:07Speaker 4: to be comfortable, you know you've moved into August temperatures
- 2:10Speaker 4: in Texas. So it's hot. I had a busy weekend,
- 2:14Speaker 4: by the way. Very busy. Especially for me. As we
- 2:19Speaker 4: kick things off, by the way, a lot to get into.
- 2:20Speaker 4: The latest approach with the negotiations with Iran. August recess
- 2:25Speaker 4: has occurred with the Senate without passing the SAVE Act.
- 2:28Speaker 4: We got James Tallarico bragging about his church to house
- 2:31Speaker 4: a family of illegal aliens who were set to be
- 2:34Speaker 4: deported by ICE. A couple of former NBA players have
- 2:37Speaker 4: announced plans to enter the 2027 draft for the WNBA. Oh,
- 2:43Speaker 4: that's interesting. We can get into that. And speaking of
- 2:46Speaker 4: the WNBA, you got these woke journalists defending DiGiorno Carrington, Dijonay, Dijonay,
- 2:54Speaker 4: I'm not sure how you pronounce it. But anyway, they're
- 2:58Speaker 4: all defending her. In fact, one former ESPN person said
- 3:01Speaker 4: that Sophie Cunningham should have been thrown out of the
- 3:03Speaker 4: game for being clotheslined by DiGiorno Carrington. Once again, this
- 3:10Speaker 4: is a league that's known for the garbage instead of
- 3:13Speaker 4: actually playing. By the way, there is one thing, too.
- 3:16Speaker 4: They're talking about men identifying as women playing in the WNBA.
- 3:21Speaker 4: There may already be a male player. In the WNBA,
- 3:26Speaker 4: we'll get to that. Also, trans cyclist Veronica Ivey is
- 3:31Speaker 4: now stealing women's titles in a second sport. A transgender
- 3:35Speaker 4: cyclist who identifies as a woman is now knocking winning
- 3:38Speaker 4: titles in a second sport. Veronica has already won a
- 3:42Speaker 4: string of women's pro cycling titles going back to 2018,
- 3:45Speaker 4: but is now competing under a new name, Rachel McKinnon.
- 3:49Speaker 7: What?
- 3:50Speaker 4: I guess trans names as well. So anyway, but became
- 3:54Speaker 4: the first trans cyclist to win and then now has
- 3:57Speaker 4: moved on into professional golf and is smoking women at
- 4:02Speaker 4: professional golf. And if you heard my promo this week, well,
- 4:05Speaker 4: that's what triggered it. Another body has been found floating
- 4:09Speaker 4: in the bayou near the Gulf Freeway. Did anyone check
- 4:17Speaker 4: under any of the bridges for a colony of vampires
- 4:20Speaker 4: or No one has been able to disprove my theory
- 4:23Speaker 4: that a colony of vampires are preying on humans in
- 4:27Speaker 4: the Houston area and dumping bodies in the bayous. No
- 4:31Speaker 4: one has been able to dispel my theory that there
- 4:33Speaker 4: are vampires. So, I mean, there's a whole genre of it.
- 4:39Speaker 4: Like I said, I used to believe UFOs were fake,
- 4:41Speaker 4: but not so much. Not anymore. And AOC, speaking of crazy,
- 4:46Speaker 4: AOC has announced she's freezing her eggs, explaining that it
- 4:50Speaker 4: was a choice she was making to feel more in
- 4:52Speaker 4: control of her life. This is actually kind of sad
- 4:56Speaker 4: because she's gearing up for a 2028 presidential run. So
- 4:59Speaker 4: she wants to freeze eggs and then so she can
- 5:03Speaker 4: have kids later, which, by the way, that's there's nothing
- 5:05Speaker 4: wrong with that. I don't really see a problem with
- 5:07Speaker 4: it other than the fact that she's been she's had
- 5:10Speaker 4: a boyfriend for what, a few years now or a fiance.
- 5:13Speaker 4: Why don't they just have kids? It hasn't deterred Anna
- 5:19Speaker 4: Paulina Luna. She just had a kid not too long ago,
- 5:22Speaker 4: and it's still way hotter than AOC, so you got that. Anyway,
- 5:25Speaker 4: but a couple of things. Okay, so over my weekend,
- 5:27Speaker 4: I kept mentioning I had to get my 100,000-mile tune-up,
- 5:30Speaker 4: so I did that on Friday at Humble Amco, and
- 5:33Speaker 4: I got to give a shout-out to Jay Streckfus and
- 5:35Speaker 4: his team. My truck is running great. It was running
- 5:37Speaker 4: okay before. It was running fine, but now I can
- 5:40Speaker 4: definitely feel the new spark plugs, and I guess they
- 5:43Speaker 4: flushed the fluids and the... fuel system and the, the,
- 5:48Speaker 4: what is it? The transmission. And it seems to be
- 5:50Speaker 4: running quite well. So I'm glad it's running good. And
- 5:54Speaker 4: if it, like I said, it's comfortable because I've got
- 5:56Speaker 4: to go up by the way, Ben Strewsand will be
- 5:59Speaker 4: filling in for me tomorrow. I'll be heading up to Austin.
- 6:01Speaker 4: I told you guys my uncle passed away. So I'm
- 6:04Speaker 4: heading up to his service tomorrow. And I don't think
- 6:07Speaker 4: there's any way I'm going to get back in time
- 6:09Speaker 4: to do the show. So I'll head up there and
- 6:12Speaker 4: say my goodbyes to my uncle. It's an uncle that,
- 6:15Speaker 4: like I said, I haven't seen a lot of lately.
- 6:18Speaker 4: And over the years when we were kids, we would
- 6:19Speaker 4: see him when we'd go up to the hill country
- 6:20Speaker 4: and go hunting. So that was the best times I
- 6:24Speaker 4: ever had with my uncle and, of course, my dad.
- 6:27Speaker 4: So that was good. I enjoyed that, but we'll go
- 6:30Speaker 4: say goodbye. He was 85. He actually lived— well, he outlived
- 6:33Speaker 4: my father by five years, but also he outlived my
- 6:37Speaker 4: father's age by about three months. My father died right
- 6:42Speaker 4: before his 25—I'm sorry, his 85th birthday, literally a week
- 6:46Speaker 4: before the hospital killed him. So they just did a
- 6:50Speaker 4: terrible job and then had to kill him. He got
- 6:53Speaker 4: sepsis and had heart attacks and strokes, and they just—
- 6:56Speaker 4: Screwed up every which way. It was so sad because
- 6:58Speaker 4: the doctor did such a good job and then the
- 7:01Speaker 4: nurses killed him. So that was terrible. Well, on my
- 7:04Speaker 4: uncle's case, I think it was different. He had, as
- 7:07Speaker 4: of recently, had been in a rehabilitation facility and then
- 7:11Speaker 4: apparently things he was having trouble breathing, I guess, one
- 7:14Speaker 4: day last week. And then he said he may passed away.
- 7:18Speaker 4: So I'll be going up tomorrow. So my truck is
- 7:22Speaker 4: running good. So hopefully we'll continue to run good as
- 7:26Speaker 4: I head up to the Austin area tomorrow to go
- 7:28Speaker 4: say our final goodbyes to my uncle. And I'll see
- 7:31Speaker 4: some family, some that I've seen here recently. I told
- 7:33Speaker 4: you my cousin and I, she's gone up with me
- 7:35Speaker 4: to the dearlies that we go to a couple of
- 7:38Speaker 4: times now and has a great time because when we
- 7:40Speaker 4: were kids, we were up there together. So we would
- 7:42Speaker 4: see her on a regular basis. So it's good to
- 7:45Speaker 4: see her. you know, whenever I get a chance to
- 7:47Speaker 4: see her, but then my other cousin who I haven't
- 7:49Speaker 4: seen in 30 years. And then my aunt who I
- 7:53Speaker 4: haven't seen in a long time, she's older as well.
- 7:56Speaker 4: So I'll see some of them tomorrow, but nonetheless, shout
- 7:59Speaker 4: out to Jay and the gang over at Ombalamco for
- 8:02Speaker 4: making sure that my hundred thousand mile tune-up got taken
- 8:05Speaker 4: care of. Now they take care of everything over there, obviously.
- 8:08Speaker 4: So if you need anything done, it's a good idea.
- 8:10Speaker 4: Once again, you get free engine scan. If you mentioned
- 8:13Speaker 4: Chris X radio. So, but they can check for everything.
- 8:16Speaker 4: I've had them do work on other cars in the
- 8:18Speaker 4: past and they do a fantastic job. So I can't
- 8:20Speaker 4: speak highly enough. Got Jay to take care of my car.
- 8:23Speaker 4: Humble Amco, if you need anything, look them up and
- 8:25Speaker 4: go tell them, you know, tell Jay that I sent
- 8:27Speaker 4: you and he'll take good care of you. Also, I
- 8:30Speaker 4: may or may not have purchased a noise suppressor over
- 8:34Speaker 4: the weekend as well. I told you guys, you know,
- 8:39Speaker 4: I go up there and I like, I don't hunt deer,
- 8:41Speaker 4: but I do hunt hogs. And generally you have to
- 8:44Speaker 4: wear the, you know, an AR-15. It's a 5.56, 2.23.
- 8:49Speaker 4: So you have to wear, you know, hearing protection. Whether
- 8:53Speaker 4: that be earplugs or I bought some of those active headphones,
- 8:55Speaker 4: which are great because you can talk and you can
- 8:57Speaker 4: hear each other if you're there with other people. But
- 9:00Speaker 4: the only problem with those, they're not bad, is that
- 9:05Speaker 4: if you're walking around, if you have those on your head,
- 9:08Speaker 4: the sound, you can hear things, but you can't tell depth.
- 9:12Speaker 4: you can't hear if it's close to you or right
- 9:14Speaker 4: behind you or whatever. So it's a little dangerous to
- 9:16Speaker 4: walk around with those headphones on. Now people do it,
- 9:19Speaker 4: but it also depends on where you're walking. And some
- 9:23Speaker 4: of the stuff that, you know, I would walk through
- 9:25Speaker 4: up at the ranch would be, you know, a little
- 9:27Speaker 4: where you can't necessarily see or hear. And I depend
- 9:30Speaker 4: on hearing there's been times up there where I've heard
- 9:32Speaker 4: things coming and whether, you know, whatever it is. I
- 9:35Speaker 4: remember I walked into a family of the, uh, red stags,
- 9:40Speaker 4: the Russian red stags that are up there. And those
- 9:43Speaker 4: are the ginormous deer. The male Russian red stag looks
- 9:46Speaker 4: like an elk. His horns, like I said, the head
- 9:50Speaker 4: of the stag probably goes about seven or eight feet
- 9:53Speaker 4: in the air. They weigh about seven or eight hundred
- 9:55Speaker 4: pounds and the horns go about 12 feet in the
- 9:57Speaker 4: air they're massive they're very intimidating but that being said
- 10:01Speaker 4: they're deer so the the the males are very anyway
- 10:05Speaker 4: i want to be able to hear and see if
- 10:07Speaker 4: something like that comes along or if you stumble across
- 10:10Speaker 4: hogs i've noticed a couple of times where i've walked
- 10:12Speaker 4: up on hogs they tend to freeze and look at
- 10:14Speaker 4: me at least the big ones do and then uh
- 10:18Speaker 4: Until I turn around and aim that rifle at them,
- 10:21Speaker 4: that's when they tend to run off. So they know
- 10:22Speaker 4: what that motion is. But that being said, I don't
- 10:25Speaker 4: know how they would behave if I didn't turn and
- 10:27Speaker 4: point the gun at them. And I've shot at them.
- 10:29Speaker 4: So I wanted to get something to suppress the sound.
- 10:35Speaker 4: And now we no longer have that... What is it?
- 10:37Speaker 4: The tax ID? The Trump administration did away with that.
- 10:41Speaker 4: So you don't have to pay that additional $ 200 for
- 10:44Speaker 4: the tax ID. So I went and found a suppressor
- 10:46Speaker 4: and ordered it.
- 10:47Speaker 8: So.
- 10:48Speaker 4: Anyway, I want to give a shout out to Ramon
- 10:50Speaker 4: over at Waymore Silencers. I don't know anything about noise
- 10:53Speaker 4: suppressors other than that they make things quieter. So I
- 10:57Speaker 4: think I got a good one, and I'll try it
- 10:59Speaker 4: out whenever it comes in. It's obviously a very popular
- 11:02Speaker 4: one because it was on back order, which he said
- 11:04Speaker 4: usually takes a couple weeks to get in. So we'll see.
- 11:07Speaker 4: But he was telling me exactly how to. I'm probably
- 11:10Speaker 4: going to have them put it on my gun. I
- 11:11Speaker 4: don't know how to do that. I have them put
- 11:14Speaker 4: it on my AR and then that way I'll be set.
- 11:16Speaker 4: So not only can I, you know, hunt the hogs
- 11:19Speaker 4: the way that I can sitting at my, you know,
- 11:22Speaker 4: the feeder, but also walk around because they're all over
- 11:25Speaker 4: the ranch. And when you're walking around, you will stumble
- 11:28Speaker 4: across them. And when I do, I want to make
- 11:30Speaker 4: sure that I'm prepared and ready and don't have to
- 11:33Speaker 4: get my ears blown out or have to struggle to
- 11:35Speaker 4: try to put on the headset. You can just shoot
- 11:38Speaker 4: without blowing your ears out. So that would be nice.
- 11:42Speaker 4: And so anyway, once again, shout out to Ramon over
- 11:44Speaker 4: at Waymore Silencers. Like I said, he was very knowledgeable.
- 11:47Speaker 4: It was amazing because he knew better what I was
- 11:49Speaker 4: looking for than I did because I don't know anything
- 11:52Speaker 4: about him. But I'm looking forward to trying it out
- 11:56Speaker 4: the next time. And I don't plan to head up
- 11:57Speaker 4: to the ranch again for probably a month from now.
- 12:00Speaker 4: So when it cools down a little bit, it's a
- 12:03Speaker 4: little warm right now. A little bit warm. But I'll
- 12:08Speaker 4: be up in Austin tomorrow, but I won't be hunting.
- 12:11Speaker 4: I'm just, unfortunately, attending a service for my uncle. But, okay,
- 12:16Speaker 4: so the shout-out's done. Once again, thanks again to Ramon
- 12:18Speaker 4: at Waymore Silencers and also on Belamco and Jay Streckfest.
- 12:22Speaker 4: Like I said, got a lot of stuff done this weekend.
- 12:24Speaker 4: It was a busy weekend for me. And I spent
- 12:27Speaker 4: a whole lot more money than I normally would. But
- 12:29Speaker 4: that being said, I got really good deals on both.
- 12:31Speaker 4: So can't complain. All right, so Trump has said— oh, and
- 12:35Speaker 4: I guess we can open up the phones if you
- 12:36Speaker 4: want to join us here on the program. All right,
- 12:38Speaker 4: so we've got a couple of callers. You guys hold on.
- 12:40Speaker 4: I'll get to you here shortly. 281-558-KSEV is the number. 281-558-5738.
- 12:48Speaker 4: Once again, I'm Chris X. We're just getting started here.
- 12:51Speaker 4: President Trump said the U.S. is low-keying its approach to
- 12:55Speaker 4: negotiations with Iran, suggesting that economic pressure on Tehran is
- 12:59Speaker 4: starting to take hold. So— This is still going on,
- 13:06Speaker 4: so we'll see if we can get into that. And
- 13:08Speaker 4: then we'll talk about the Senate leaving town for its
- 13:10Speaker 4: August recess without passing Trump's legislative priority, the Save America Act.
- 13:16Speaker 4: They did get something else passed that was 100 percent
- 13:19Speaker 4: of the Democrats against. We need to make sure we're
- 13:22Speaker 4: being intellectually honest when we talk about why the Save
- 13:25Speaker 4: Act is not being passed and why another important piece
- 13:29Speaker 4: of legislation did with zero help from the Democrats. And
- 13:34Speaker 4: don't say, oh, we expect that. Well, we do expect that,
- 13:37Speaker 4: but it can't be ignored because then you're not making
- 13:39Speaker 4: a logical conclusion. And then you got James Tallarico bragging
- 13:45Speaker 4: about housing a mother and a son, illegal aliens who
- 13:49Speaker 4: were set to be deported by ICE, laughing. He said
- 13:51Speaker 4: that Christianity is just another word for causing trouble. Tallarico
- 13:57Speaker 4: is turning out to be every bit of the freak
- 13:59Speaker 4: that we thought he was, and then some. And it
- 14:02Speaker 4: is up to Paxton to expose this weirdo. Now, he's
- 14:06Speaker 4: going to have to, he's out trying to raise money because,
- 14:09Speaker 4: once again, Talafrico got a three-month head start on him
- 14:12Speaker 4: because Paxton was still fighting in the primary in the runoff.
- 14:17Speaker 4: But I have a feeling he's going to get some money.
- 14:19Speaker 4: And if you guys feel inclined to donate, let's do it.
- 14:22Speaker 4: Let's don't let the Democrats spend us into a Democrat
- 14:27Speaker 4: Senate seat in the state of Texas. We just can't
- 14:30Speaker 4: have that. And then we got the NBA players, a
- 14:33Speaker 4: couple of former NBA players, Ennis Cantor Freedom and Royce White,
- 14:37Speaker 4: who played for the Rockets at one point. These guys
- 14:40Speaker 4: are professional NBA players, and now they're saying they, well,
- 14:45Speaker 4: they identify as a female, and they want to register
- 14:49Speaker 4: for the draft. So, and now the WNBA has to
- 14:53Speaker 4: contend with, hey, do we got... are we going to
- 14:56Speaker 4: allow male players male players who pretend to be women
- 14:59Speaker 4: in the league I think there already is one and
- 15:02Speaker 4: we can get to that here a little later in
- 15:04Speaker 4: the program all right let's go and take a break
- 15:05Speaker 4: we'll come back we'll start taking your phone calls on
- 15:07Speaker 4: the other side 281-558-KSCV 281-558-5738 you're listening to Chris X
- 15:15Speaker 4: radio we're just getting started and boy we got a
- 15:18Speaker 4: lot to get into today oh man didn't even mention
- 15:22Speaker 4: what I did earlier but uh This trans dude who
- 15:25Speaker 4: is now going by Veronica Ivy, who is beating women
- 15:29Speaker 4: at professional cycling, and now has moved over to professional golf.
- 15:34Speaker 4: So because cycling is starting to crack down on some
- 15:37Speaker 4: dude coming along, and another body has been found floating
- 15:41Speaker 4: in a bayou in Houston. Okay. How many is that
- 15:46Speaker 4: this year so far? Do we know? 281-558-KCV. I'm Chris Hicks.
- 15:50Speaker 4: We'll be right back. We're just getting started. Don't you
- 15:52Speaker 4: go anywhere.

- 17:32Speaker 2: but I'm sure there's lots and lots of people listening
- 17:35Speaker 2: because your advice is very good.
- 17:37Speaker 9: That's awesome to hear.

- 19:28Speaker 4: Man, I look at like a perfect circle. That was
- 19:30Speaker 4: kind of a super group.
- 19:34Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 19:34Speaker 4: I know I had the lead singer. Was it Maynard
- 19:38Speaker 4: from Tool? Was his name really Maynard? And then this
- 19:41Speaker 4: Italian chick on bass. And I can't remember who's on
- 19:44Speaker 4: drums and guitar, but they were good. I don't remember
- 19:47Speaker 4: who the guitar player was from, but they're good. But
- 19:51Speaker 4: Judith is a great song. Anyway, welcome back to Chris
- 19:53Speaker 4: X Radio here on your Manic Monday edition of the program.
- 19:56Speaker 4: If you want to join us, 281-558-KSCV, 281-558-5738. Let's go
- 20:02Speaker 4: ahead and go to the phones. Pick up with Ron,
- 20:04Speaker 4: who has been patiently holding in Belleville. Ron, thank you
- 20:07Speaker 4: for hanging on. Welcome to Chris X Radio.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Good afternoon.
- 20:11Speaker 17: I have a technical question about the trans cyclist. Technically,
- 20:16Speaker 17: wouldn't he be considered a bi-cyclist?
- 20:26Speaker 4: Well, they're calling him a trans cyclist, so I don't know.
- 20:30Speaker 4: But what the preference is. But I guess, you know what, now,
- 20:33Speaker 4: since he's competing in two different sports, or at least
- 20:36Speaker 4: at this point, maybe he is a bicyclist. So you
- 20:38Speaker 4: may be right.
- 20:42Speaker 18: Okay.
- 20:42Speaker 17: Well, that was that far. We'll get that out of
- 20:44Speaker 17: the way. You've got to do yourself a favor. You've
- 20:47Speaker 17: got to go break down and spend the money and
- 20:49Speaker 17: get you a $ 2, 000, $ 2, 500 thermal scope. and get a
- 20:56Speaker 17: 300 blackout upper and put it on your AR lower,
- 21:00Speaker 17: go buy the 300 blackout subsonics, and it is such
- 21:05Speaker 17: a blast to shoot because all you hear is the
- 21:09Speaker 17: action of the gun with those subsonics. There's almost no sound,
- 21:14Speaker 17: and once you start shooting the pigs, they have no
- 21:17Speaker 17: idea where it's coming from, so they don't want to
- 21:20Speaker 17: run anywhere. They go 10 feet and stop, and you
- 21:22Speaker 17: just keep on shooting them.
- 21:24Speaker 4: Now, can I, hold on. Now, I have the AR223-556.
- 21:29Speaker 4: On the 556s, if I go with, do they have
- 21:32Speaker 4: the subsonic rounds for those as well? You can do
- 21:34Speaker 4: the same thing basically with that?
- 21:35Speaker 19: No.
- 21:36Speaker 4: Or do I?
- 21:36Speaker 17: No, they do not have the subsonics for that.
- 21:40Speaker 4: Oh, I didn't know that. Well, that sucks. Because I
- 21:43Speaker 4: know I've got subsonics for my. 22 rifle, and those
- 21:46Speaker 4: you don't even need a silencer. They're just. It's just
- 21:48Speaker 4: little cracks like a clap.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Right.
- 21:51Speaker 4: So it doesn't hurt your ears at all.
- 21:53Speaker 17: I'm sure that somebody could custom load them, you know,
- 21:56Speaker 17: what the ballistics on it would be. You know, I
- 21:58Speaker 17: don't know. You know, those bullets are designed to run
- 22:03Speaker 17: at that, you know, 3,000 feet per second plus. That's
- 22:08Speaker 17: where they get stable and do what they do. If
- 22:12Speaker 17: you shot them, you know, lower, they got down, you know,
- 22:17Speaker 17: a thousand feet per second, I don't know if that
- 22:21Speaker 17: bullet would hold together without wobbling all over the place.
- 22:25Speaker 17: And it would just kill your accuracy. So you've got
- 22:29Speaker 17: to get a heavier bullet. Those 300 blackout subsonics are
- 22:32Speaker 17: like 240 grain bullets versus your 55 or 60 or
- 22:34Speaker 17: maybe 70 grain on a 5.56 or 223.
- 22:44Speaker 4: So if I'm hearing you correctly, now I need to
- 22:46Speaker 4: get a 300 blackout AR as well.
- 22:49Speaker 17: No, you just got to buy the upper. It'll fit
- 22:51Speaker 17: on the lower that you already got.
- 22:53Speaker 4: I don't know. What's the upper and lower? I don't
- 22:55Speaker 4: know what that means.
- 22:57Speaker 17: Where you've got the two push pins on the side
- 23:00Speaker 17: at the front and the back, but right behind where
- 23:03Speaker 17: the trigger guard is or right on top of that
- 23:05Speaker 17: at the back, and then right up at the front,
- 23:07Speaker 17: there's two push pins that you can push out, just
- 23:11Speaker 17: get a, you know, a small screwdriver or, you know, something,
- 23:15Speaker 17: a piece of a coat hanger wire, and you can
- 23:18Speaker 17: push those pins and they will release. And that whole upper, uh,
- 23:23Speaker 17: will come off the, the barrel, uh, the, uh, bolt
- 23:27Speaker 17: carrier group, everything that's in the, in the barrel part of,
- 23:31Speaker 17: of the, uh, gun will come off and you can
- 23:34Speaker 17: take a 300 blackout upper and put it right back
- 23:39Speaker 17: in the same spot, push the pins back in and,
- 23:42Speaker 17: put a 300 blackout, uh, magazine in it and it'll
- 23:46Speaker 17: go to shoot.
- 23:47Speaker 4: Okay. Um, you're giving me bad advice. Not that the
- 23:50Speaker 4: advice is bad, but telling me to do that, I
- 23:52Speaker 4: would send it to a professional and allow them to
- 23:55Speaker 4: do it because otherwise I.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Might kill myself.
- 23:57Speaker 17: It's two, it's two push pins, dude.
- 24:01Speaker 4: I say tomato. Once again, I don't play with my
- 24:04Speaker 4: firearms because one, I don't know what I'm doing. And
- 24:07Speaker 4: two is I don't want to do anything that could
- 24:09Speaker 4: cause a Go watch.
- 24:12Speaker 17: A YouTube video and you'll see how easy it is.
- 24:20Speaker 17: Ray Charles could do it. That's how easy it is.
- 24:24Speaker 4: Well, Ray Charles may have special skills that I don't have,
- 24:26Speaker 4: so we'll see about that.
- 24:27Speaker 17: You never know.
- 24:29Speaker 4: This is true. So, okay, well, that sounds pretty cool.
- 24:32Speaker 4: I'm interested to see how much the volume is knocked
- 24:35Speaker 4: out because when I was talking to the guy, he
- 24:37Speaker 4: said a regular 5.56 shoots at about 200, what is it?
- 24:43Speaker 17: Decibels.
- 24:44Speaker 4: Decibels, yeah, 200 decibels. And they say when you put the,
- 24:47Speaker 4: it's not a silencer, it's a noise suppressor on it
- 24:51Speaker 4: with just regular, cuts it down to about 110. So
- 24:55Speaker 4: it knocks it down substantially. Right. So I'm like, okay,
- 24:58Speaker 4: so I want to see how that sounds. And then,
- 25:00Speaker 4: of course, we'll see if I can figure out that
- 25:03Speaker 4: 300 blackout stuff. I know my brother has a 300
- 25:06Speaker 4: blackout rifle. I remember trying to shoot that thing. It
- 25:09Speaker 4: was so damn heavy. Man, that was a big rifle.
- 25:12Speaker 4: But it was a good rifle. And from what I hear,
- 25:15Speaker 4: those 300 blackouts are really powerful, too. Now, here's my question.
- 25:20Speaker 4: Since you were talking about the bullet breaking up, now,
- 25:22Speaker 4: I've shot my. 22. with the low-volume rounds, the subsonic rounds, and, man,
- 25:29Speaker 4: it's dead on. I'd shoot from 25 to 50 to
- 25:32Speaker 4: 75 yards, and, man, like I said, I can hit
- 25:34Speaker 4: a quarter. So I have no problem with a round
- 25:37Speaker 4: that small, so I don't know what the difference between the. 223,.
- 25:40Speaker 4: 556 would be compared to a. 22 round.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Well, the little.
- 25:45Speaker 17: 22s are mostly lead bullets, and they may have a
- 25:49Speaker 17: copper jacket on them or something like that. But the 5.56, 2.23
- 25:55Speaker 17: mostly are full metal jacket and that's over a copper core.
- 26:01Speaker 17: And that is, again, they are meant for that speed
- 26:06Speaker 17: and the rotation of the barreling of the rifle gives
- 26:09Speaker 17: them the proper spin to make them accurate. When you
- 26:15Speaker 17: start reducing that speed by a third, which is what
- 26:19Speaker 17: you'd have to get down to, to make them subsonic,
- 26:23Speaker 17: traveling so many feet per second. I think it's, what
- 26:29Speaker 17: is it, 10,050 feet per second, and above that is
- 26:34Speaker 17: where you hit supersonic, and that's where you get that
- 26:37Speaker 17: high-pitched crack. It's breaking the sound barrier, is what that
- 26:41Speaker 17: crack off of a rifle is. If you get below that,
- 26:45Speaker 17: it's not breaking the sound barrier, so you don't get
- 26:47Speaker 17: that loud crack.
- 26:50Speaker 20: Off of the rifle.
- 26:51Speaker 17: But again, those bullets are not meant to, not designed
- 26:55Speaker 17: to go that slow and they need that rotation to
- 26:59Speaker 17: stabilize them and hold themselves together.
- 27:02Speaker 4: Well, Ron, what I'm realizing is I should have, instead
- 27:05Speaker 4: of going and doing this all on my own, I
- 27:06Speaker 4: should have just went to you. I didn't realize you
- 27:08Speaker 4: were a gun expert because you sound like one. I
- 27:10Speaker 4: thought you were a burger expert.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what you get for being an AR nut.
- 27:16Speaker 4: Well, see, I'm not an AR nut, but like I said,
- 27:18Speaker 4: I do use it to hunt hogs with because it
- 27:20Speaker 4: is vastly superior to any other rifle to hunt hogs with.
- 27:23Speaker 4: So that's why I use it for that.
- 27:25Speaker 17: Well, as bad as you think you are now, go
- 27:28Speaker 17: get you a thermal scope, and it's like a whole
- 27:32Speaker 17: new world.
- 27:33Speaker 4: Yeah, but what's funny is that those.
- 27:34Speaker 17: Thermals— It's like playing a video game. I kid you not.
- 27:38Speaker 17: It is addictive like you wouldn't believe. and you will
- 27:41Speaker 17: become nocturnal. You would forget getting out in the daytime.
- 27:47Speaker 17: Let's go when it's dark.
- 27:49Speaker 4: Oh, wow. That would be, yeah, because that's there. The
- 27:51Speaker 4: hogs are nocturnal. They generally, I mean, I've got them
- 27:53Speaker 4: kind of the daytime, but they're generally at night. So
- 27:56Speaker 4: that's the other reason why I wanted to, you know,
- 27:58Speaker 4: be able to knock down the volume a little bit.
- 28:00Speaker 4: So you're not disturbing other people. It's just, you know,
- 28:02Speaker 4: just enough noise in my area. So it's not disturbing
- 28:05Speaker 4: other people and things like that. So, You know what?
- 28:09Speaker 4: It's funny because clearly, let's see, you talked about $ 2, 500
- 28:12Speaker 4: for the thermal, and then I don't know how much
- 28:15Speaker 4: for the 300 blackout upper, and then all that stuff.
- 28:18Speaker 4: You're just costing me a lot of money, Ron. Man,
- 28:20Speaker 4: I don't know. I need to quit talking to you.
- 28:22Speaker 17: Well, you know, what are friends for?
- 28:25Speaker 4: Thank you for the call, Ron. I appreciate it. Talked
- 28:28Speaker 4: way longer than I anticipated, but I'm delving off an area.
- 28:31Speaker 4: Like I said, I know how to shoot a rifle.
- 28:32Speaker 4: I'm really good at shooting them. I can shoot a
- 28:35Speaker 4: rifle like nobody's business, but I don't know a whole
- 28:37Speaker 4: lot about taking them apart and putting them back together.
- 28:39Speaker 4: I can clean them, but I wouldn't do any modifications
- 28:44Speaker 4: on my own. I'm going to leave that to the pros,
- 28:46Speaker 4: and I'm happy to watch them, and maybe I can learn. But, man,
- 28:51Speaker 4: I had no idea, Ron. Jeez, I thought he was
- 28:54Speaker 4: a burger expert. Turns out he's a dang gun expert, too.
- 28:58Speaker 4: Now I need to go research. I want to know
- 29:00Speaker 4: if I can get some, what is it, low-volume... They
- 29:04Speaker 4: are bullets. If I can, I'm going to get some. Anyway,
- 29:08Speaker 4: all right, 281-558-KSEV. You're listening to Chris X Radio. We'll

- 30:55Speaker 4: Hi, y'all.
- 30:55Speaker 22: It's Kathy from Baker Mortgage. You know, with all the
- 30:58Speaker 22: scary stuff we've been through, it's still true that timing
- 31:01Speaker 22: is everything and the time to buy is now. But
- 31:04Speaker 22: don't go looking without a solid pre-approval in hand. And
- 31:07Speaker 22: this includes an application and a detailed discussion about property taxes.
- 31:11Speaker 22: If you didn't have the talk... You know, about property taxes,
- 31:15Speaker 22: you really don't know what you're pre-approved for. That should
- 31:18Speaker 22: make you wonder what else they may have left out.
- 31:20Speaker 22: Mortgages are personal. Let's face it, we're dealing with your
- 31:23Speaker 22: home and your money, and it doesn't get much more
- 31:25Speaker 22: personal than that. When it's the largest transaction that most
- 31:28Speaker 22: people will ever be involved in, imagine having someone on
- 31:31Speaker 22: your side looking out after you. What a concept. We
- 31:35Speaker 22: audit your closing statement to make sure you're not paying
- 31:37Speaker 22: for things that you're not supposed to. Do you think
- 31:40Speaker 22: your big bank's going to do that? Probably not. For
- 31:42Speaker 22: all of your mortgage needs, call us at Baker Mortgage.
- 31:45Speaker 22: I promise you'll be glad you did. We're at 281-313-MOVE

- 31:56Speaker 8: From the KSEV Weather Center, tonight we'll bring partly cloudy
- 31:59Speaker 8: skies and humid conditions with a low temperature of 79°C
- 32:03Speaker 8: Tomorrow is expected to be very warm with a mix
- 32:05Speaker 8: of clouds and sunshine along with isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon.
- 32:09Speaker 8: The high will reach 96 degrees. Tomorrow night will be
- 32:11Speaker 8: mainly clear and humid with a low around 78. Looking
- 32:15Speaker 8: ahead to Wednesday, it will be very warm with plenty
- 32:17Speaker 8: of sunshine and a few clouds reaching a high of
- 32:19Speaker 8: 98 degrees. With the KSCV Weather Center forecast, I'm AccuWeather
- 32:23Speaker 8: Meteorologist Jason Catarina.
- 32:31Speaker 9: And now, back to Chris X Radio on The Voice
- 32:34Speaker 9: of Texas.
- 32:50Speaker 4: And this is one taking me back to the 80s.
- 32:52Speaker 4: This is still one of those good remakes. And of course,
- 32:58Speaker 4: you had Robert Palmer on it. How can you go
- 32:59Speaker 4: wrong with that? Man, that guy was so talented. He
- 33:02Speaker 4: was one of those talents I really, truly didn't appreciate
- 33:04Speaker 4: until he was gone. Anyway, welcome back to Chris X Radio.
- 33:08Speaker 4: I'm the aforementioned X-Man. Glad to have you with us.
- 33:10Speaker 4: By the way, we were talking with our gun and
- 33:13Speaker 4: burger expert, Ron, in the last segment. Ron is apparently
- 33:17Speaker 4: not an internet expert because in about a five-second search,
- 33:20Speaker 4: I found two, two, three subsonic rounds I can purchase online. So...
- 33:24Speaker 4: Apparently they do have subsonic two, two threes or five,
- 33:27Speaker 4: five sixes. And they got a bunch of different kinds too.
- 33:32Speaker 4: And I don't know what the difference is, but you
- 33:35Speaker 4: can purchase them. Let's say I found multiple websites. So
- 33:40Speaker 4: I'm looking at them right now. Okay.
- 33:41Speaker 18: Yep.
- 33:41Speaker 4: Here we go.
- 33:42Speaker 16: More.
- 33:43Speaker 4: You can get, man, you can get the subsonic two, two,
- 33:45Speaker 4: three hollow points. Okay. So I'm going to have to
- 33:49Speaker 4: purchase some of those. I can only imagine how quiet
- 33:55Speaker 4: that would be. Man, this is very cool. This is
- 33:59Speaker 4: a world. Like I said, I got some for just
- 34:02Speaker 4: on a hunch and bought some for my 22 and
- 34:04Speaker 4: was amazed how quiet it made it. So there we go.
- 34:07Speaker 4: Am I a gun guy now? Am I country? I
- 34:10Speaker 4: think I'm country. Anyway, welcome back to Chris X Radio.
- 34:13Speaker 4: I'm the aforementioned X-Man. Glad to have you here with
- 34:15Speaker 4: us once again. It's Manic Monday. So we'll talk about
- 34:19Speaker 4: a whole lot of stuff going on. You got Trump.
- 34:22Speaker 4: saying he's low-key in the approach to negotiations with Iran,
- 34:25Speaker 4: suggesting that economic pressure is starting to take hold on Tehran.
- 34:30Speaker 4: So we'll see how that is. The Senate left town
- 34:33Speaker 4: for August recess without passing the Save America Act. A
- 34:37Speaker 4: lot of people are really upset by that, but they
- 34:39Speaker 4: did pass something that I'm going to get to here
- 34:42Speaker 4: in a minute, very similar to the Save Act, which
- 34:45Speaker 4: is good. And guess what? They passed it with 0%
- 34:50Speaker 4: help from the Democrats. All the Democrats voted against it.
- 34:53Speaker 4: So we've got to be clear on who's doing what
- 34:56Speaker 4: or holding up what. Also, we've got James Tallarico bragging
- 35:00Speaker 4: in an interview, and I've got the audio where he
- 35:03Speaker 4: talks about his church housing a family of illegal aliens,
- 35:05Speaker 4: and they were about to be deported by ICE, he says.
- 35:09Speaker 4: And also they had an atheist join the church. That
- 35:13Speaker 4: makes sense. Okay, yeah. So we'll get to that here
- 35:17Speaker 4: in a bit. And then, of course, we've got the
- 35:20Speaker 4: WNBA stuff. You've got two former NBA players announcing plans
- 35:25Speaker 4: to enter the 2027 draft in the WNBA, and now
- 35:30Speaker 4: the WNBA is having to have meetings to try to
- 35:33Speaker 4: determine what a W is. They don't understand what the
- 35:36Speaker 4: W in front of their NBA means, so now they've
- 35:38Speaker 4: got to have meetings. Wait, what? Don't try to make
- 35:43Speaker 4: sense out of it. It's ridiculous. And then, of course,
- 35:46Speaker 4: you got this trans cyclist or, as Ron said, called him,
- 35:51Speaker 4: her a bicyclist because Veronica Ivey has already won a
- 35:56Speaker 4: bunch of winning titles in a women's cycling. And now
- 36:01Speaker 4: they're starting to crack down on dudes participating in women's cycling.
- 36:04Speaker 4: So he's moved over to golf, professional golf. And now, well,
- 36:07Speaker 4: I guess I don't know if it's professional. I guess
- 36:09Speaker 4: the Canadian Women's Mid-Amateur Championship. the British Columbia Mid-Amateur, and
- 36:15Speaker 4: the Mid-Masters Championship. So this dude is now finding his
- 36:19Speaker 4: way into women's golf.
- 36:21Speaker 24: Okay.
- 36:22Speaker 4: Great. As Trump said, women were trying to play a sport,
- 36:27Speaker 4: and then some dude came along. These dudes keep coming along. And, well,
- 36:33Speaker 4: we'll see. And another body has been found floating in
- 36:36Speaker 4: the bayou at the Gulf Freeway. Has anyone checked under
- 36:39Speaker 4: the bridges yet? For a colony of vampires, I'm telling you,
- 36:44Speaker 4: no one has disproven my theory yet. All right, 281-558-KSEV
- 36:49Speaker 4: is the number if you want to join us. 281-558-5738.
- 36:53Speaker 4: Let's go out to, I do believe we have a
- 36:55Speaker 4: cracker smoker on the line. Robert in Pearland.
- 36:58Speaker 25: Run on, Robert.
- 36:59Speaker 4: Hey, Robert, thanks for hanging on. Welcome to Chris X Radio.
- 37:02Speaker 25: You got it, man. Sorry about your dad. I don't
- 37:05Speaker 25: know that you ever actually spoke about it. I was wondering.
- 37:08Speaker 25: You said some things happened, but you never got specific.
- 37:11Speaker 25: But I didn't know all of that.
- 37:13Speaker 4: Yeah, it was. My dad went in. He had issues
- 37:17Speaker 4: with his heart. He was on a pacemaker. He was older, obviously, 84.
- 37:20Speaker 4: And he went in and they said, hey, listen, he's
- 37:23Speaker 4: too bad off. We'd send him to open heart surgery,
- 37:27Speaker 4: but we don't think he would survive. So what we're
- 37:29Speaker 4: going to do is they're going to do this. you know, the,
- 37:31Speaker 4: what is the angioplasty? And they had to put them
- 37:34Speaker 4: on an impeller and they did the, the doctor did
- 37:36Speaker 4: it and was successful, cleared it out. And then they
- 37:39Speaker 4: had to put in a stent, a couple of stents,
- 37:41Speaker 4: I do believe. And then, you know, if anyone who
- 37:43Speaker 4: knows anything about once you put in a stent, you
- 37:45Speaker 4: have to take medication. And so they did it. He
- 37:48Speaker 4: was still on the impeller. So they didn't want to
- 37:50Speaker 4: leave in the hospital and, But unfortunately, because this was
- 37:53Speaker 4: 2021 and the COVID hysteria garbage, the nurse did not
- 37:59Speaker 4: give him the medicine for the stents, which caused him
- 38:01Speaker 4: to go into cardiac arrest, which caused strokes, which eventually
- 38:05Speaker 4: led to his death. So while saving him, they killed him.
- 38:09Speaker 4: So that was really terrible. But that was years ago.
- 38:12Speaker 4: And like I said, we've sort of moved on, but
- 38:15Speaker 4: that's one of those things you never really get over.
- 38:17Speaker 4: So thank you. I appreciate that, Robert. But It's things
- 38:20Speaker 4: you don't like to think about, but it is good
- 38:23Speaker 4: to be aware of. Sometimes the professionals at the hospital
- 38:27Speaker 4: aren't always the greatest, especially when we were dealing with
- 38:30Speaker 4: COVID madness, and we now realize how stupid all that was. Anyway,
- 38:35Speaker 4: I imagine that's not what you wanted to talk about today, Robert.
- 38:39Speaker 25: No, I had to get that in, but a lot
- 38:40Speaker 25: of people get to a point where they're afraid to
- 38:42Speaker 25: go into the hospital because so many people don't come
- 38:45Speaker 25: back out.
- 38:46Speaker 4: Yeah, no, it's true. And the other thing too is
- 38:49Speaker 4: my brother had issues and he went in and he got,
- 38:51Speaker 4: he was, he had his, was a gallstone that blocked his,
- 38:55Speaker 4: I guess his liver. And he, you know, he went in,
- 38:58Speaker 4: they got great healthcare, great treatment. So the opposite end
- 39:01Speaker 4: of the spectrum does happen. But man, during that COVID stuff,
- 39:04Speaker 4: I know I'm not alone. There was a lot of
- 39:06Speaker 4: people that lost loved ones. you know, via COVID or
- 39:09Speaker 4: also the idiocy that was taking place at these hospitals.
- 39:12Speaker 4: Because once again, these nurses were coming and going and
- 39:15Speaker 4: I have no idea how qualified they were because they
- 39:17Speaker 4: were firing qualified people for not getting that jab that
- 39:21Speaker 4: we don't know how good it really was. So anyway,
- 39:24Speaker 4: all of that stuff. But uh i want to get
- 39:26Speaker 4: to your point because usually you have something ridiculous and
- 39:29Speaker 4: crazy and something written down which is always fun but.
- 39:32Speaker 25: Not today uh i have a son who had to
- 39:35Speaker 25: go through some of that he's a nurse so i
- 39:37Speaker 25: get some of that on the inside track i want
- 39:39Speaker 25: to talk about the crazy that's my new phrase for
- 39:42Speaker 25: the people trying to do these things for example wmba
- 39:46Speaker 25: some guys felt like women, and so they want to be,
- 39:50Speaker 25: you know, an employee and get on a team. And,
- 39:55Speaker 25: of course, they're going to dominate, but this is the
- 39:57Speaker 25: one I've been waiting for. A lot of this has
- 39:59Speaker 25: been happening, but this will be just like maybe a
- 40:02Speaker 25: backbreaker because what it is is the WNBA has to
- 40:07Speaker 25: decide can they let men in, and there's the whole problem.
- 40:12Speaker 25: You can't even say they're not men to their faces
- 40:15Speaker 25: because that's a tremendous insult. And if they think they're
- 40:18Speaker 25: a woman, then they are a woman. And so if
- 40:21Speaker 25: you bring in men, about a year from now, the
- 40:24Speaker 25: whole league will be all men. It'll just be like
- 40:26Speaker 25: a farm league for the NBA. If you don't let
- 40:30Speaker 25: them in, then it's like, oh, so you do acknowledge
- 40:33Speaker 25: they're a man even though they feel like a girl.
- 40:35Speaker 25: It's going to break their back. That's what I'm thinking.
- 40:38Speaker 4: Well, what it's doing, it is now exposing them for
- 40:41Speaker 4: the hypocrisy in which they espouse. They lie and say,
- 40:44Speaker 4: you know, men can be women and all this stuff.
- 40:46Speaker 4: And they run around using this rhetoric, even though the
- 40:49Speaker 4: WNBA actually has a rule that says men can't participate.
- 40:52Speaker 4: And now they have to rethink that because they've already
- 40:55Speaker 4: said that there's no, you know, any hate and abuse
- 40:57Speaker 4: and demonization of any person or whatever, including transgender people
- 41:02Speaker 4: only fuels division and hatred and harm. So now they're
- 41:07Speaker 4: being forced to either put up or shut up. And
- 41:10Speaker 4: just as you said, if they start allowing these dudes
- 41:13Speaker 4: and these WNBA guys in, once again, you let a
- 41:16Speaker 4: couple of WNBA guys, and if they happen to get
- 41:18Speaker 4: on the same team, they literally could prevent the women
- 41:21Speaker 4: from scoring on the other team. Could beat them 100
- 41:23Speaker 4: to 200 to nothing and absolutely destroy them with three
- 41:27Speaker 4: chicks and two dudes and whatever. Because they're just, these
- 41:31Speaker 4: are questions, honestly, Robert, that were answered a hundred plus
- 41:35Speaker 4: years ago, longer than that, that there is a biological
- 41:38Speaker 4: difference between men and women. And no matter how much
- 41:40Speaker 4: you want to claim one way or the other, there
- 41:42Speaker 4: are differences that you can't duplicate. And especially when it
- 41:47Speaker 4: comes to size, speed, mass, and you're talking about, you know,
- 41:51Speaker 4: NBA players, these men, they're beasts. those men are six
- 41:55Speaker 4: foot ten six eleven six nine which is so much
- 41:59Speaker 4: bigger than the average woman and there may be some
- 42:01Speaker 4: women that are tall like that but the speed difference
- 42:05Speaker 4: is just night and day that's why in professional soccer
- 42:08Speaker 4: players female soccer players the best in the world get
- 42:11Speaker 4: beat by 12 year old boys every year when they
- 42:14Speaker 4: do their thing because there's a huge difference and Once again,
- 42:18Speaker 4: they're forcing them to reckon with this new woke society
- 42:21Speaker 4: that we live in where one side will flat out
- 42:23Speaker 4: lie to you about something and then, unfortunately, trying to
- 42:27Speaker 4: make them put up or shut up. We'll see how
- 42:29Speaker 4: it goes. I don't think they'll ever allow these two
- 42:31Speaker 4: NBA players in. Would that be enough to make you
- 42:34Speaker 4: actually watch a WNBA game, Robert?
- 42:37Speaker 25: No, but I do enjoy the possibility that the giant
- 42:41Speaker 25: pile of crap will just collapse in on itself because
- 42:44Speaker 25: this is the thing that can break it. because you
- 42:46Speaker 25: have to go one way or the other. You can't
- 42:48Speaker 25: go both. But I did want to talk about the Senate,
- 42:51Speaker 25: if that's all right.
- 42:52Speaker 26: Go ahead.
- 42:53Speaker 25: Also, we've got a delicate balance in the Senate without
- 42:56Speaker 25: the McConnell vote, and we don't even know if he's alive.
- 42:59Speaker 25: So I looked at the math, and it's like one
- 43:01Speaker 25: betrayal representative vote actually is two. And that gives an
- 43:08Speaker 25: outsized impact to that representative senator. He actually is controlling
- 43:12Speaker 25: two votes. The plus one vote that... goes into the
- 43:18Speaker 25: Democrat roster and the minus one vote that comes off
- 43:22Speaker 25: of the representative roster. You got 50-50 and 49-51, see,
- 43:29Speaker 25: or even 49-50. Well, 49-51 is what it would come
- 43:32Speaker 25: out to be that then even Vance can't come in
- 43:35Speaker 25: and help with just one vote to do a tiebreaker.
- 43:39Speaker 4: Yeah. Well, there is something which is interesting. Now, the
- 43:42Speaker 4: Republicans instead, they weren't able to do the Save America Act,
- 43:46Speaker 4: but they did secure a vote on a photo ID
- 43:48Speaker 4: requirement for federal elections sponsored by Ohio Senator John Husted.
- 43:54Speaker 4: The measure, however, was opposed by every Democrat. So receiving
- 43:58Speaker 4: 52 to the 60 votes needed to advance. So they
- 44:02Speaker 4: were able to get that done. So that that vote
- 44:05Speaker 4: got on there and they were able to make that happen.
- 44:06Speaker 4: But they weren't able to do the save act. So
- 44:09Speaker 4: there was a little movement. But once again, you pointed
- 44:11Speaker 4: out it's nice to have control, quote unquote. But when
- 44:15Speaker 4: you have the Democrats that vote as a block, which
- 44:17Speaker 4: means it's a no every single Democrat and you just
- 44:20Speaker 4: have to throw that out and try to keep all
- 44:22Speaker 4: the Republicans on board. And then you lose somebody like
- 44:25Speaker 4: Mitch McConnell, which, by the way, I heard he was
- 44:27Speaker 4: moved out of his hotel or hotel, sorry, hospital room
- 44:31Speaker 4: and moved back home to continue his recovery. I don't
- 44:34Speaker 4: know if there's a weekend at Mitch's going on or what,
- 44:37Speaker 4: but supposedly he's back home recovering now. And we'll see
- 44:41Speaker 4: if if there's any sign of life. I still don't
- 44:43Speaker 4: think anyone has anyone seen any sign of life from
- 44:46Speaker 4: old cocaine, Mitch the turtle. Thanks for the call, Robert.
- 44:50Speaker 4: I appreciate it. You know what's funny? I've got some audio.
- 44:53Speaker 4: I'm going to play this real quick. Going back to
- 44:57Speaker 4: the WNBA. They're talking about allowing men to play in
- 45:01Speaker 4: a game, but I think they may already have a male.
- 45:04Speaker 4: Houston's own Brittany Griner plays in the WNBA. She went
- 45:10Speaker 4: on Cam Newton's show, I guess his podcast or whatever,
- 45:13Speaker 4: and and said that she prefers to be called Pops
- 45:17Speaker 4: by her son because mom is mom. But I want
- 45:21Speaker 4: you to listen to this short exchange between Cam Newton
- 45:24Speaker 4: and Brittany Griner. Brittany Griner, I think, is 6'9, very tall.
- 45:30Speaker 4: I don't know if she's a woman.
- 45:33Speaker 27: I heard in an interview, and it's important for you
- 45:36Speaker 27: that your son calls you Pops. I do like pops.
- 45:41Speaker 27: I like pops, honestly. Like, Rel is mom.
- 45:44Speaker 9: Okay.
- 45:46Speaker 4: Wait, that's a woman?
- 45:47Speaker 9: Only one mom. Rel's mom.
- 45:49Speaker 28: And this, whatever anybody else does in their household, I
- 45:53Speaker 28: support whatever you want to do in your household.
- 45:55Speaker 27: But in my household, I was just like, I like pops.
- 46:01Speaker 4: Listening to that person's voice and then watching, if you've
- 46:05Speaker 4: not seen the video of Brittany Griner at a pool
- 46:10Speaker 4: in the backyard, I guess somewhere, shooting little basketball hoops
- 46:14Speaker 4: with a goal that's just outside of the water, wearing
- 46:18Speaker 4: nothing but a pair of shorts. If it's not a dude,
- 46:23Speaker 4: it couldn't look any more like a dude. And that
- 46:26Speaker 4: voice does not sound like the voice of a female.
- 46:29Speaker 4: So there may already be a male playing, and this
- 46:32Speaker 4: may be why the other reason is they don't really
- 46:35Speaker 4: want to talk about that and then have to explain.
- 46:38Speaker 4: But she wants to be called Pops. She runs around
- 46:40Speaker 4: with shorts without a top on and, once again, has
- 46:42Speaker 4: a chest that looks just like a dude. And that voice,
- 46:46Speaker 4: dear Lord. Okay, let's take a break because we're way over.
- 46:48Speaker 4: Thanks for the call, Robert. Really interesting points. It'll be
- 46:52Speaker 4: interesting to see how this all plays out because the
- 46:55Speaker 4: WNBA has sort of been irrelevant for a while. And
- 46:58Speaker 4: now that, thanks to Kaitlyn Clark, she came along and
- 47:01Speaker 4: caused all of this insanity. You got this, what's her name,
- 47:05Speaker 4: Dijanae DiGiorno-Carrington doing this flagrant foul. And they want to
- 47:09Speaker 4: throw Sophie Cunningham out of the league because she's a
- 47:11Speaker 4: white girl and she's pretty. And not this, no, no, no, no.
- 47:14Speaker 4: This game is for tall, giant black lesbians, not pretty
- 47:18Speaker 4: white girls. What? 2-8-1-5-5-8-K-S-E-V-M. Chris X, we'll be right back
- 47:24Speaker 4: to wrap up this first hour.

- 48:53Speaker 16: that all men are created equal, that they are endowed
- 48:55Speaker 16: by their creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these
- 48:59Speaker 16: are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. To secure

- 49:40Speaker 16: God bless America, and God bless Texas.
- 49:44Speaker 9: And now, we return you to your regularly scheduled dose
- 49:47Speaker 9: of common sense, Chris X Radio.
- 49:50Speaker 4: Chris X Radio. You know, I saw a video of,
- 50:05Speaker 4: what's his name? Who's the guy from the Foo Fighters?
- 50:08Speaker 4: The drummer from Nirvana, Dave Grohl. He was playing a
- 50:14Speaker 4: Wallflower song. You guys remember the Wallflowers, Bob Dylan's son?
- 50:17Speaker 4: And he was playing a song and he was just like,
- 50:20Speaker 4: I don't know the lyrics. I never quite learned them.
- 50:21Speaker 4: I don't remember them. And he knew some of them.
- 50:23Speaker 4: And he said, we're only doing this song because the
- 50:26Speaker 4: keyboard player of that band is now in the Foo Fighters.
- 50:29Speaker 4: So he's in the Foo Fighters. So they did that
- 50:32Speaker 4: as sort of a kind of backhanded slam slash. It's
- 50:38Speaker 4: kind of funny. Dave Grohl is starting to look a
- 50:39Speaker 4: little older, by the way. He's kind of starting to
- 50:42Speaker 4: look a little up there. He's getting a little thicker
- 50:44Speaker 4: around the middle, which, once again, I'm not one to talk.
- 50:47Speaker 4: Just notice he doesn't quite have that rock star physique
- 50:49Speaker 4: he once did, which is probably good. I mean, I
- 50:52Speaker 4: guess he's probably my age, somewhere around there. I'm not
- 50:56Speaker 4: sure how old Dave Grohl is. Anyway, welcome back to
- 50:58Speaker 4: Chris X Radio. You've reached the final segment of the
- 51:01Speaker 4: first hour. Don't you go anywhere. We've got hour number
- 51:03Speaker 4: two coming back. Got the audio from James Talafrico. Jeez.
- 51:10Speaker 4: He is the freak that we think he is. It's
- 51:13Speaker 4: so weird watching this dude blanket himself in religion and
- 51:16Speaker 4: try to push all of this radical ideology and blanket
- 51:19Speaker 4: it in religion. It's like, what?
- 51:21Speaker 12: What?
- 51:24Speaker 4: He's a total weirdo. Anyway, it's turned into the Chris
- 51:27Speaker 4: X and Ron Gun Talk show because we got Ron back.
- 51:29Speaker 4: Apparently he wanted to add something else, which I don't
- 51:31Speaker 4: know what it is, but I'm assuming it probably has
- 51:34Speaker 4: something to do with Gun Talk. Ron, welcome back to
- 51:36Speaker 4: Chris X Radio.
- 51:39Speaker 17: Well, thank you so much, and I apologize profusely for
- 51:42Speaker 17: giving you any erroneous information, but I did go look
- 51:46Speaker 17: it up on my World Book Encyclopedia website, since I've
- 51:50Speaker 17: been banned from the internet by Al Gore when he
- 51:53Speaker 17: invented it. So I got some new info.
- 51:57Speaker 4: Okay.
- 51:58Speaker 17: The problem with the Subsonic 5.56 is they do not
- 52:02Speaker 17: have enough case pressure to cycle the gun. So you
- 52:08Speaker 17: load a bullet in the chamber, you fire it, and
- 52:12Speaker 17: there is not enough back pressure off of it to
- 52:16Speaker 17: push the bolt back and bring the second. round into
- 52:20Speaker 17: the chamber. It doesn't always happen, but it is a
- 52:24Speaker 17: cycling problem, and that's where the 300 Blackout came to be,
- 52:30Speaker 17: where it overcame that. It was built to do that,
- 52:34Speaker 17: and they've got the gas blocks and everything set up
- 52:38Speaker 17: to cycle the rifle properly.
- 52:40Speaker 4: Okay, so that's what the 5.56 may not cycle, obviously,
- 52:44Speaker 4: appropriately enough.
- 52:45Speaker 17: Yeah, it does not want to cycle properly. And the
- 52:50Speaker 17: other part of that is Brittany Griner is a dude.
- 52:55Speaker 4: Thanks for the call, Ron. I'm glad you got back
- 52:58Speaker 4: on to be able to get that in. Brittany Griner,
- 53:00Speaker 4: she looks and sounds like a dude and apparently identifies
- 53:04Speaker 4: as pops to her son.
- 53:05Speaker 27: So.
- 53:07Speaker 4: And I remember there were questions before because Brittany Grunner
- 53:10Speaker 4: is so big. He, whatever, is like 6'9, 6'6. I
- 53:14Speaker 4: can't remember how tall, but very tall and can dunk,
- 53:17Speaker 4: but doesn't dunk as often as like the dudes do,
- 53:20Speaker 4: I guess. But anyway, I'm going to do some more
- 53:22Speaker 4: research now that I have not been banned from Al
- 53:25Speaker 4: Gore's internet. So I'll do some more subsonic 223. That's
- 53:30Speaker 4: generally what I fire. I don't even use the 556s.
- 53:33Speaker 4: All right, our number two is up next. Thanks for
- 53:34Speaker 4: the call, Ron.

- 54:46Speaker 18: voluntarily recalling some products that include jalapenos because of worries
- 54:51Speaker 18: about possible salmonella contamination. The announcement comes a few weeks
- 54:55Speaker 18: after Taylor Farms voluntarily recalled its iceberg lettuce products sourced
- 55:00Speaker 18: from Mexico because of a potential link to a multi-state
- 55:03Speaker 18: cyclospora outbreak that has sickened people across the U.S.

- 55:46Speaker 6: You've probably heard all those ads for life insurance. Just
- 55:48Speaker 6: a few dollars a day, apply online in minutes, no
- 55:50Speaker 6: medical exam. Simple, easy, and cheap, right? Now you're thinking,
- 55:54Speaker 6: maybe I should get a quote. Well, smart thinking. Everyone
- 55:57Speaker 6: should have life insurance. But here's what they don't tell you.
- 56:00Speaker 6: Those few dollars a day rates, they're for young people
- 56:02Speaker 6: and perfect health. That's why everyone calls Big Lou the
- 56:06Speaker 6: 50 to 60-year-old not-so-perfect candidate.
- 56:09Speaker 4: Like you. You take prescription meds, and you're overweight.

- 56:18Speaker 6: surprises after you apply. In fact, if you're a 50-year-old
- 56:21Speaker 6: guy with a few health glitches, Lou could probably find
- 56:23Speaker 6: you a million dollars of term life coverage for about
- 56:26Speaker 6: 200 bucks a month. So, yeah, you need life insurance.
- 56:29Speaker 6: But unless you're young and healthy, you gotta call Big Lou, because.

- 57:05Speaker 23: Call 281-441-4179. From KSEV, here's political contributor Ben Strewsand.
- 57:13Speaker 29: Most polling shows that Republicans are going to have a
- 57:16Speaker 29: tough time winning majorities in both houses of Congress in November.
- 57:21Speaker 29: Voters blame Trump for inflation and believe that many of
- 57:25Speaker 29: the necessities they need to purchase have become unaffordable. Two
- 57:29Speaker 29: out of three voters don't believe that preventing Iran from
- 57:32Speaker 29: building a nuclear weapon is worth the higher gas prices
- 57:36Speaker 29: that they are paying. Voters never give a president credit
- 57:39Speaker 29: for preventing bad things like a nuclear war from happening.
- 57:43Speaker 29: President Trump should realize by now that the Islamic Republic
- 57:47Speaker 29: will never agree to a deal that results in a
- 57:50Speaker 29: Trump win. The mullahs read the polls and see the
- 57:53Speaker 29: domestic political pressure to end the war. It's part of
- 57:55Speaker 29: their strategy. We should stop chasing a bad deal. This
- 57:59Speaker 29: does not mean that we should resume unlimited airstrikes, but
- 58:03Speaker 29: rather targeted decapitation strikes against their leadership, as the Israelis
- 58:09Speaker 29: used effectively. If Iranian leaders won't cut a deal, then.
- 58:13Speaker 4: Let's get new ones. The real leverage we.
- 58:15Speaker 29: Have against Iran is economic. We destroyed what Iran took
- 58:20Speaker 29: decades to build, their defense industrial base used to manufacture drones, missiles,
- 58:26Speaker 29: and nuclear weapons. Inflation in Iran is running at 40%.
- 58:31Speaker 29: The blockade collapsed the revenue stream used by the Revolutionary
- 58:36Speaker 29: Guard Corps, their security services, and all the government infrastructure.
- 58:41Speaker 29: If our blockade is allowed to continue and not stopped
- 58:45Speaker 29: by Democrats... and a few lame-duck Republicans in Congress, we
- 58:50Speaker 29: can eliminate the mullahs' leverage over its people. We don't
- 58:54Speaker 29: need regime change to pressure them into a better deal
- 58:57Speaker 29: for us.
- 58:59Speaker 4: Just perseverance.
- 59:00Speaker 29: Intercepting what leaks out via Iran's shadow tanker fleet will
- 59:05Speaker 29: speed the process. The best guess is this pressure will
- 59:09Speaker 29: take six months to show results, right around the time
- 59:13Speaker 29: of the elections. I'm Ben Strewsand, and that's my view.
- 59:19Speaker 9: Ben Strewsand, only on AM700 KSEV.
- 59:25Speaker 30: Thank goodness our weather experts are providing us with hurricane
- 59:28Speaker 30: tracking charts and reminding us to.
- 59:29Speaker 4: Be prepared for big storms.
- 59:31Speaker 30: But they overlook one very important thing, the damage and
- 59:33Speaker 30: destruction from broken limbs and uprooted trees. Call Lewis Flory
- 59:37Speaker 30: at Ability Tree Experts today. My friend for nearly 40 years.
- 59:41Speaker 30: At 281-441-4179 and let him explain how this problem can
- 59:46Speaker 30: be minimized with professional pruning. You see, when the tree
- 59:49Speaker 30: canopy is too thick and dense, the tree can be
- 59:51Speaker 30: completely blown over and tree limbs broken. causing terrible damage
- 59:55Speaker 30: to the tree and maybe your home. Where tree limbs break,
- 59:59Speaker 30: sap will ooze, and that attracts harmful insects. So you
- 1:00:02Speaker 30: need to call Louis Flory today at 281-441-4179 and have
- 1:00:08Speaker 30: his experts come out and professionally prune your trees to
- 1:00:12Speaker 30: withstand sudden storms that are so frequent this time of year.
- 1:00:15Speaker 30: Visit their website at abilitytrees.com. That's 281-441-4179. Ability Tree Experts,

- 1:00:30Speaker 25: Launch Control, this is Houston.
- 1:00:31Speaker 6: We are going to launch. 5, 4.
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: 3, 2, 1.
- 1:00:42Speaker 9: That's Chris X Radio. Chris X Radio.
- 1:00:45Speaker 12: What we need right now is a clear message to
- 1:00:48Speaker 12: the people of this country.
- 1:00:50Speaker 25: This message must.
- 1:00:51Speaker 24: Be read in every newspaper, heard on every radio, seen
- 1:00:54Speaker 24: on every television.
- 1:00:55Speaker 23: This message must resound throughout the entire intelligence.
- 1:00:59Speaker 9: And now, your host.
- 1:01:00Speaker 13: I believe this is going to be our finest hour.
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: Chris X. And believe it or not, we made it
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: to the second hour, to hour number two. Good evening
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: and welcome to Chris X Radio, hour number two. Glad
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: to have you here with us as we are rocking
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: and rolling our way through another Manic Monday edition of
- 1:01:26Speaker 4: the program here.
- 1:01:27Speaker 12: What is this?
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: Are we in the second week? I guess technically August
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: the 10th. Man, the dog days of August are flying by,
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: aren't they? They're going by quick. which is funny. Generally,
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: I don't wish my days away. It's hard not to
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: when you live in a weird political cycle and the
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: 24-hour news cycle. You find yourself wishing your days away,
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: but I just wish the heat away, which when the
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: rain comes in, man, it's only like 91 degrees over here.
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: Is it still at 91? What's the weather now? Still
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: looking at it. Yep, still at 91 over here. But man,
- 1:02:01Speaker 4: you don't wish the weather away. wish it away but
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: I wish the warm temperatures away 91 is not too
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: it's funny because I talk about I can't handle the
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: heat 91 92 doesn't bother me at all which shows
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: I'm a true Texas boy but when you start getting
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: up around 100 that changes things for me that's my
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: as I've gotten older that's the level I'm like okay
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: my body can't process this heat like you could when
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: I was younger Anyway, welcome back to the program. Glad
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: to have you here for our number two. As always,
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: if you want to join us, 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738. We heard
- 1:02:38Speaker 4: from Robert and Ron, and Ron called back because he
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: was referring to his, what is it, the catalog, because
- 1:02:48Speaker 4: he's banned from the interwebs. Al Gore banned him. So
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: they do have subsonic 223 ammo, but he says maybe
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: there's some issues with It says typically best suited for
- 1:02:58Speaker 4: bolt action or manually cycled AR-15s due to its reduced
- 1:03:02Speaker 4: powder charge. That's what I was reading with the search assist.
- 1:03:08Speaker 4: So I may have to try some. We'll see. I
- 1:03:09Speaker 4: don't know. I got to give a shout out. Over
- 1:03:14Speaker 4: the weekend, I finally went out and purchased even though
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: it's on back orders i'll get it at some point
- 1:03:18Speaker 4: you have to do the background check which i already
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: did for my carry license to carry but that's only
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: on the state level and i've learned that the the
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: state and the feds don't communicate very well shocker so
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: uh but i went and purchased a noise suppressor maybe
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: maybe not but uh for my ar for when i'm
- 1:03:38Speaker 4: hog hunting i'd like to cut down that noise because
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: those things are about 200 decibels those ars So to
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: be able to cut down it to about 110, that's
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: a whole lot better. And what I'm told between 80
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: and 90 decibels is what normal everyday noise is. So
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: I think I can handle the 110, 120. I don't know.
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: We'll see how well it holds up. But if you
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: get the subsonic rounds with it, it's even better. But
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: I don't know how well it works because I've got
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: the automatic. Because you've got to keep it oiled really well.
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: I've got a Bushmaster AR. By the way, the noise
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: suppressor really doesn't have to be the same. It doesn't
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: really matter. So that's good. So I got me a polonium,
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: something like that, some back order. But they'll have to
- 1:04:29Speaker 4: put it on my rifle because I have no idea
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: how to do it. He told me it's easy, but
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: Then again, Ron was telling me how easy it was
- 1:04:35Speaker 4: to swap out my AR from a. 223 to a.
- 1:04:38Speaker 4: 300 blackout. I'm like, hold on. This is a little
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: above me right now. Not that I couldn't learn how
- 1:04:46Speaker 4: to do it, but to do that would be kind
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: of crazy. You don't want to be playing with firearms
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: when you don't know what you're doing. So I definitely
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: don't want to do that. But it doesn't mean I
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: won't get a professional to do it. At some point,
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: maybe move that direction, we'll see. Also, by the way,
- 1:05:03Speaker 4: shout out to Raymond or Ramon. I guess he had
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: way more silencers. He was very knowledgeable, helped me out tremendously.
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: They were good. It's funny you get the digital fingerprints
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: done now and all that. I think I passed. I
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: don't know. They haven't denied me anything on the federal
- 1:05:18Speaker 4: level yet. If they find out I work for KSDV,
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: they just might. And then once again, I had on Friday,
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: I had my 100,000-mile tune-up over at Humble Amco with
- 1:05:28Speaker 4: Jay Streckfus, and they did a great job. And got
- 1:05:31Speaker 4: new plugs, I guess, and fuel filters flush, fluids flush,
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: the transmission flush, which I didn't even know they could
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: do that, but they do. So they did all that stuff.
- 1:05:45Speaker 4: I've not had any of that stuff done until now
- 1:05:47Speaker 4: on my truck. It's been great, knock on wood. So
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: my brakes are still good, apparently. So that's good. But
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: so once again, they'd always take... They take care of
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: everybody over there. Jay does a great job over at
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: humble Amco. So if you need work done on your vehicle,
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: especially if you need a transmission, he's the guy to
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: talk to. He can take care of the regular transmissions,
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: those crazy ones. And he's very good at what he
- 1:06:12Speaker 4: does and what they do. He's got a good team
- 1:06:13Speaker 4: over there. So once again, shout out to humble Amco
- 1:06:16Speaker 4: and Jay's breakfast. And then of course, uh, Ramon and
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: way more silencers. I had a busy weekend. All right. So, um,
- 1:06:24Speaker 4: A couple of things we're going to get into. I'm
- 1:06:26Speaker 4: going to play the audio from James Tallarico, or as
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: we say, Talafrico. Before we do, also I've got to
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: mention we do the video now on all of our
- 1:06:36Speaker 4: social media platforms, the Rumble, YouTube, Facebook, whatever. And I've
- 1:06:40Speaker 4: got my new security, Xenomorph. He's climbing over the couch
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: back there. So that's my new security for Studio X.
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: So if you happen to tune in the video, you
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: can see that he's that's his that's his little he's
- 1:06:55Speaker 4: got a little, you know, trap door down there. He
- 1:06:57Speaker 4: comes in and out of so he can make sure
- 1:07:00Speaker 4: that everything's good. Security has been fantastic, but I still
- 1:07:02Speaker 4: don't know what happened to my neighbor's dog. So we
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: haven't been able to find the neighbor's dog, but it's
- 1:07:07Speaker 4: good to have the xenomorph running security for me here
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: in Studio X. OK, so President Trump said the U.S.
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: is low keying its approach to negotiations with Iran. suggesting
- 1:07:20Speaker 4: that economic pressure on Tehran is starting to take hold.
- 1:07:24Speaker 4: We had the Iranians listing their demands, which apparently are ridiculous.
- 1:07:32Speaker 8: Now, the U.S.
- 1:07:32Speaker 4: Military had launched strikes against Iran every day for about
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: two weeks before Trump announced stopping the attack so they
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: could lead to more negotiations.
- 1:07:40Speaker 9: The U.S.
- 1:07:41Speaker 4: Naval blockade is still in effect against Iran's ports. Trump said,
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: we're low-keying it, okay? We're only semi-negotiating with them. That
- 1:07:54Speaker 4: is so Trump. We're just watching Iran with its huge
- 1:07:57Speaker 4: inflation and the fact they have no money. Iran's economy
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: is in very bad shape. And the country still lacks
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: the funds to pay its troops. Which, of course, they're
- 1:08:08Speaker 4: not being able to generate any money because of the
- 1:08:10Speaker 4: naval blockade. It'll work out. It always works out, the
- 1:08:14Speaker 4: president said. It's like a chess game. Anyway, over the weekend, U.S. CENTCOM,
- 1:08:19Speaker 4: which oversees the operation in the Middle East, wrote a
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: post on X that 53 commercial ships that were headed
- 1:08:25Speaker 4: to or from Iran were redirected. While two were disabled
- 1:08:29Speaker 4: and two more were boarded, with the pause in fighting,
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: the price of barrel for West Texas Intermediate had dropped
- 1:08:36Speaker 4: to $ 78 a barrel on yesterday afternoon. A recent high
- 1:08:43Speaker 4: of 92 was on July 23rd, so it's come down
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: substantially since then. Brent crude, the primary benchmark for outside
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: the U.S., also dropped about $ 83, down from $ 100 a
- 1:08:54Speaker 4: barrel on the 23rd as well, July 23rd. Gas prices,
- 1:08:58Speaker 4: which have been hovering around $ 4. nationally have decreased by
- 1:09:01Speaker 4: roughly eight cents per gallon in return to regular 401
- 1:09:06Speaker 4: on august 9th from four dollars and nine cents about
- 1:09:08Speaker 4: a week ago this is according to the american automobile
- 1:09:11Speaker 4: association so gas has come down a little bit we'll
- 1:09:15Speaker 4: see if it stays down i guess it depends on
- 1:09:17Speaker 4: what happens considering I'm buying more gas, running up to
- 1:09:21Speaker 4: the Hill Country tomorrow, or at least Austin, for my
- 1:09:24Speaker 4: uncle's service. So be watching the price at the pump.
- 1:09:30Speaker 4: I mentioned also this in the first hour as well.
- 1:09:32Speaker 4: We can talk about this if you want to join us. 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738.
- 1:09:39Speaker 4: The Senate leaves town on Saturday, well, they left town,
- 1:09:43Speaker 4: without passing Trump's legislative priority, the Save America Act. Now,
- 1:09:47Speaker 4: Republican Senators Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, Mike Lee of Utah,
- 1:09:50Speaker 4: and Rick Scott of Florida had stood down from a
- 1:09:53Speaker 4: planned budget resolution called for Reconciliation 3.0 and determined it
- 1:09:59Speaker 4: did not have the votes to pass late Friday, according
- 1:10:02Speaker 4: to The Hill. The Republicans instead secured a vote on
- 1:10:07Speaker 4: a photo ID requirement for federal elections sponsored by Republican
- 1:10:12Speaker 4: Ohio Senator John Husted. That measure, however, was opposed by
- 1:10:17Speaker 4: every single Democrat receiving 52 of the 60 votes needed
- 1:10:22Speaker 4: to advance. Obviously, with the president at his direction, this
- 1:10:29Speaker 4: is what he wants to do, Johnson said following a
- 1:10:30Speaker 4: Friday conversation with the senators that had with the president
- 1:10:35Speaker 4: and Scripps News was reporting this. The Save America Act
- 1:10:38Speaker 4: is a very important thing, Trump had said in an
- 1:10:41Speaker 4: interview on Thursday with Punchbowl News. John's trying. He's trying hard.
- 1:10:45Speaker 4: I really believe that. But if he doesn't get there,
- 1:10:47Speaker 4: it would be unfortunate. The postponed $ 95 billion reconciliation package
- 1:10:54Speaker 4: was intended to advance election integrity priorities, fund the Iran war,
- 1:10:59Speaker 4: and provide aid to the farmers. Senate Majority Leader John
- 1:11:03Speaker 4: Thune ultimately refused Trump's call to cancel the August recess
- 1:11:07Speaker 4: and stay in session to pass the election integrity bill.
- 1:11:10Speaker 4: Every American should be asking why Democrats are fighting against
- 1:11:13Speaker 4: election integrity at every turn. White House spokeswoman Lauren Biss
- 1:11:18Speaker 4: told The Daily Caller in a Saturday statement, quote, they
- 1:11:22Speaker 4: oppose voter ID and common sense measures that would ensure
- 1:11:25Speaker 4: only Americans decide American elections. And the radical Democrat socialists
- 1:11:30Speaker 4: leading their party support allowing illegal immigrants to vote. The
- 1:11:36Speaker 4: American people are overwhelmingly in support of election integrity and
- 1:11:40Speaker 4: the Save America Act. Republicans must use reconciliation to pay
- 1:11:44Speaker 4: our troops, support our farmers, secure our elections, and thwart
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: Democrats' obstructionist tactics. The fight isn't over. We have a
- 1:11:53Speaker 4: job to do, and I'm looking forward to this getting
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: done with you, my friend, Scott said in a post
- 1:11:59Speaker 4: on Saturday. Rick Scott. So we shall see if they're
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: able to get that passed, and we'll go. Okay, and
- 1:12:08Speaker 4: quickly before we have to break, James Tallarico bragged in
- 1:12:11Speaker 4: a resurfaced interview that his church had stirred controversy by
- 1:12:15Speaker 4: housing a mother and son, illegal aliens who were set
- 1:12:19Speaker 4: to be deported by ICE, laughing as he said that
- 1:12:22Speaker 4: Christianity is just another word for causing trouble. In the clip,
- 1:12:27Speaker 4: Tallarico speaking on Texas Impact's weekly witness show. This is
- 1:12:31Speaker 4: back in June of 2023. He credited his faith for
- 1:12:36Speaker 4: why I am in politics and asked how his faith
- 1:12:39Speaker 4: influences his politics. Tallarico pointed to examples such as his
- 1:12:43Speaker 4: church advancing progressive causes, saying justice is just love out
- 1:12:48Speaker 4: in the public. Here's Mr. Tallarico speaking where he said
- 1:12:52Speaker 4: those wonderful things.
- 1:12:54Speaker 31: Our church was really active in LGBTQ communities. rights in
- 1:12:57Speaker 31: the 90s we um caught some attention by letting an
- 1:13:01Speaker 31: atheist join our church that makes sense in the 2000s
- 1:13:05Speaker 31: and then in the 2010s again stirred some controversy by
- 1:13:09Speaker 31: housing an undocumented family a mother and son who were
- 1:13:12Speaker 31: um who were close to being deported by ice uh
- 1:13:16Speaker 31: and so again this.
- 1:13:18Speaker 9: The idea that christianity is just another word for cause
- 1:13:20Speaker 9: of trouble.
- 1:13:22Speaker 4: He's a weird dude Now, the weird thing is they're
- 1:13:28Speaker 4: trying to convince people that don't really follow politics that
- 1:13:31Speaker 4: this guy's okay. He's a moderate. He's not this strange
- 1:13:34Speaker 4: stuff that we hear when you play clips over and
- 1:13:37Speaker 4: over again. And Tallarico is literally running a campaign against himself,
- 1:13:41Speaker 4: against everything that he has advocated for over the last
- 1:13:44Speaker 4: however many years in the state house as a representative.
- 1:13:50Speaker 4: So that's kind of interesting. Paxton definitely needs to expose
- 1:13:55Speaker 4: this weirdo. And it's hard to do because, once again,
- 1:14:00Speaker 4: getting the lamestream media, the propaganda apparatus of the Democrat cult,
- 1:14:03Speaker 4: to cover these things has been very difficult. They're too busy,
- 1:14:07Speaker 4: of course, taking Tallarico's money right now and using it
- 1:14:11Speaker 4: to spread Tallarico's trash. Yeah, they've been doing that. Just
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: not even questioning the guy on what he's been saying
- 1:14:19Speaker 4: and what he's been doing, and then him doing a
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: 180 now that he's running in a statewide race. It's
- 1:14:25Speaker 4: funny how that works. But we shall see. We got
- 1:14:29Speaker 4: a couple of former NBA players that announced their intention
- 1:14:32Speaker 4: to enter the 2027 draft for the Women's National Basketball Association,
- 1:14:37Speaker 4: the WNBA. And now the WNBA has to have meetings
- 1:14:42Speaker 4: to determine what a woman is. They clearly have forgotten
- 1:14:46Speaker 4: what the W in WNBA stands for because they're always
- 1:14:50Speaker 4: espousing all of this garbage and trash. Is this enough
- 1:14:54Speaker 4: if they got in, if they actually allow these dudes
- 1:14:57Speaker 4: to go and enter the draft and get on teams,
- 1:15:00Speaker 4: would that actually be enough to get you to actually
- 1:15:02Speaker 4: watch a WNBA game? I don't know if it's enough
- 1:15:06Speaker 4: for me. But as I mentioned earlier, I think a
- 1:15:09Speaker 4: male may already be playing in the WNBA. Listen to
- 1:15:13Speaker 4: this audio of Brittany Griner, Houston's own Brittany Griner, being
- 1:15:17Speaker 4: interviewed by Cam Newton on why she prefers to be
- 1:15:19Speaker 4: called Pops by her son. What?
- 1:15:23Speaker 27: I heard in an interview, and it's important for you,
- 1:15:27Speaker 27: that your son calls you pops. I do like pops.
- 1:15:31Speaker 27: I like pops, honestly. Like, Rel is mom.
- 1:15:35Speaker 24: Okay.
- 1:15:36Speaker 9: It's only one mom. Rel's mom.
- 1:15:38Speaker 28: And this, whatever anybody else does in their household, I
- 1:15:42Speaker 28: support whatever you want to do in your household.
- 1:15:43Speaker 27: But in my household, I just like pops.
- 1:15:49Speaker 4: That dude has a deeper voice than I do. Much deeper.
- 1:15:59Speaker 4: I've seen the video of her playing basketball out of
- 1:16:02Speaker 4: the pool, shooting shots, wearing nothing but a pair of shorts.
- 1:16:05Speaker 4: And she's a dude. I'm pretty sure. I imagine she's
- 1:16:10Speaker 4: a dude. That's just my take. I don't know. I
- 1:16:13Speaker 4: haven't checked fully.
- 1:16:14Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 1:16:15Speaker 4: But people tell me things. Some dude came along. All right, 281-558-KSV.
- 1:16:21Speaker 4: Let's take a break because we're way over. 281-558-5738. We'll

- 1:16:33Speaker 4: When we come back, I'll go right to the phones.

- 1:18:11Speaker 4: New York?
- 1:18:11Speaker 26: Not at all.
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: This is the red-blooded American.
- 1:18:14Speaker 2: You're lying propaganda.
- 1:18:15Speaker 4: And you say you're a chemical engineer?
- 1:18:17Speaker 7: The dangers of socialism and communism, it produces mind-numbed idiots
- 1:18:21Speaker 7: like you just heard.
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: You'll probably find 3,000 chemical engineers. They mix it in
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: the bathtubs. They mix it in the sheds, in the backyards,
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: in five-gallon buckets.
- 1:18:28Speaker 4: That's great, Chuck.

- 1:18:44Speaker 14: Hey, let me ask you a quick question.
- 1:18:52Speaker 7: How many times have you switched your health insurance in
- 1:18:54Speaker 7: the last few years? How many times have you wanted
- 1:18:57Speaker 7: to switch your health insurance the last few years? If
- 1:18:59Speaker 7: you're in good health and pay your own insurance, you
- 1:19:02Speaker 7: don't have to settle for scary high deductibles or unaffordable premiums.
- 1:19:06Speaker 7: Let American Medical Plans find the right plan for you
- 1:19:09Speaker 7: at a price you can afford.
- 1:19:10Speaker 4: Call 833-500-PLAN.
- 1:19:12Speaker 7: No, this is not some ridiculous Obamacare plan with no
- 1:19:15Speaker 7: doctors and unlimited HMO. And it's not some rinky-dink insurance
- 1:19:19Speaker 7: company that doesn't cover a single claim. No, this is
- 1:19:22Speaker 7: real coverage for you and your family. Go to the
- 1:19:25Speaker 7: doctors and hospitals you choose. Stop shopping around hunting for
- 1:19:28Speaker 7: the best deal. American Medical Plans will do the hunting

- 1:19:46Speaker 7: American Medical Plans. Quality plans managed by you, not the government.
- 1:19:50Speaker 9: And now, back to Chris X Radio.
- 1:19:53Speaker 4: Chris X Radio.
- 1:19:54Speaker 9: On the voice of Texas.
- 1:20:05Speaker 4: Oh, the Babylon Bee. By the way, this song is
- 1:20:08Speaker 4: absolutely appropriate. Loser by Beck, which we want to make
- 1:20:12Speaker 4: him a loser in November. Inspired by AOC, James Tallarico
- 1:20:16Speaker 4: also elects to have his eggs frozen. Oh, that's funny.
- 1:20:25Speaker 4: That is good work. The Babylon Bee is really good.
- 1:20:28Speaker 4: It's funny. They kind of came out of nowhere and
- 1:20:30Speaker 4: became the best satirical site out there. So pretty funny.
- 1:20:34Speaker 4: And every now and then the onion will have something funny,
- 1:20:36Speaker 4: but very seldom. Generally, it's the Babylon Bee, which is
- 1:20:40Speaker 4: that they have winters pretty much every day. Anyway, welcome
- 1:20:43Speaker 4: back to Chris X Radio. I'm the aforementioned X-Man. All right,
- 1:20:46Speaker 4: as promised, we'll go to the phones. If you want
- 1:20:47Speaker 4: to join us, 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738. Let's go out to Chris
- 1:20:54Speaker 4: listening in spring first. Chris, thank you for hanging on.
- 1:20:56Speaker 4: Welcome to Chris X Radio.
- 1:20:59Speaker 32: Thank you for having me, sir. I would like to
- 1:21:01Speaker 32: bring to the attention, I know you've talked about on
- 1:21:03Speaker 32: your show, but the Harris County Commissioner's Court, comprised of
- 1:21:08Speaker 32: four leftists and one Republican, is going to be running
- 1:21:13Speaker 32: a $ 180 to $ 130 million deficit this year. Now, with
- 1:21:19Speaker 32: all the ample revenue from property taxes and the toll roads,
- 1:21:25Speaker 32: How can they screw this up?
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: Well, I know how, but this.
- 1:21:30Speaker 32: Is the stuff that we need to focus on. I
- 1:21:34Speaker 32: would implore your audience, maybe some of you.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: Guys that are a little.
- 1:21:38Speaker 32: Bit younger, don't use the toll tax anymore. Do not
- 1:21:42Speaker 32: give these people legitimacy. They are going to bankrupt the
- 1:21:46Speaker 32: state of Texas unless Austin does something about it.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: I really hope we can focus on this, Chris.
- 1:21:53Speaker 32: They have more revenue now. in five states combined, how
- 1:21:57Speaker 32: can they screw this up?
- 1:22:00Speaker 4: You know, Chris, one thing I'm confused, I don't think
- 1:22:02Speaker 4: the toll road money goes to the state. Aren't they
- 1:22:05Speaker 4: owned by private companies, and don't they get that money
- 1:22:08Speaker 4: to use on whatever they want to use it on?
- 1:22:11Speaker 32: No, no, for the commissioner's court, I'm told that that
- 1:22:15Speaker 32: money goes to the coffers of Rodney Ellis and Lena
- 1:22:17Speaker 32: and Garcia and all those other people. And that's great,
- 1:22:22Speaker 32: but it's like, just balance the damn budget. Why are
- 1:22:26Speaker 32: you running deficits? Do you know the property tax? I
- 1:22:30Speaker 32: don't know, Chris.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: I don't understand, but I mean, I know that, you.
- 1:22:33Speaker 32: Know, their constituents, they're kind of low self-esteem and they
- 1:22:36Speaker 32: need something, but that doesn't mean they have to run deficits.
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: Just balance the budgets.
- 1:22:41Speaker 32: It is not a revenue issue, Chris. It's never been
- 1:22:43Speaker 32: a revenue issue.
- 1:22:44Speaker 4: 100%. Thank you for the call, Chris. Yeah, you're right on. No,
- 1:22:49Speaker 4: they have plenty of revenue. It's how to manage it,
- 1:22:52Speaker 4: just like the city of Houston. They're trying to figure
- 1:22:54Speaker 4: out how to balance their budget. But Harris County, 100%.
- 1:22:57Speaker 4: I don't know whether they get any of the toll
- 1:22:59Speaker 4: road money. From what I'm told, I don't think they
- 1:23:01Speaker 4: necessarily do. They may get some of it, but I
- 1:23:04Speaker 4: don't know. But as you said, this is not a
- 1:23:08Speaker 4: money issue. It is a spending issue. And you got
- 1:23:11Speaker 4: little lockdown Lena running out there trying to run another
- 1:23:14Speaker 4: tax increase after throwing a huge tax increase on all
- 1:23:17Speaker 4: Harris County residents. After Hurricane Beryl, they use that as
- 1:23:22Speaker 4: an opportunity to jack your taxes. They've got plenty of
- 1:23:25Speaker 4: money coming in. They just can't stop spending it on
- 1:23:27Speaker 4: their stupid pet projects. And that's what they do. They
- 1:23:32Speaker 4: blow it on all kinds of stuff that just is illegals.
- 1:23:37Speaker 4: funds try to run a universal basic income they just
- 1:23:42Speaker 4: you name it all these children oh this child care
- 1:23:44Speaker 4: we need this we need it just they can't find
- 1:23:47Speaker 4: enough ways to run out of money spending it wastefully
- 1:23:52Speaker 4: on things instead of just cutting spending hey let's cut
- 1:23:55Speaker 4: spending maybe let's not uh what was it to elevate
- 1:23:58Speaker 4: strategies you guys remember that contract that got quashed because
- 1:24:02Speaker 4: once again You're right on, 100%. All right, 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738.
- 1:24:10Speaker 4: Let's go to Rusty here before we have to break. Rusty,
- 1:24:12Speaker 4: thank you for hanging on. Welcome to Chris X Radio.
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: What's going on, my brother?
- 1:24:17Speaker 4: Not too much. How are you doing today, Rusty?
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: Doing great. I was listening to your gun talk, and,
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: you know, a lot of that stuff is, well, I'm
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: kind of like you. It's kind of over my head.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: Don't even want to know, don't need to know how
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: to change a barrel on a gun.
- 1:24:34Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm real reluctant to do that kind of stuff
- 1:24:36Speaker 4: because the last thing I want to do is try
- 1:24:38Speaker 4: to do something crazy and end up blowing myself up.
- 1:24:40Speaker 4: So I'm not really interested in that.
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: I know, that's right. Yeah, I got my. 223 gun,
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: and first I got to thank Ronald Reagan for keeping
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: us on the metric system here in America. And I
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: always refer to it as the. 223, not the. 556.
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: But anyway, yeah, I used to be a machinist. And, oh, man,
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: it was a hassle, you know, when they brought in
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: a metric blueprint and you had to convert the decimals
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: to metric. Yeah, that was a hassle. But anyway, let's
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: talk about I bought my gun a long, long time ago.
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: It was in the mid-' 80s. and I bought it because
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: I like the look of the A-Team gun. Have you
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: ever seen that?
- 1:25:38Speaker 4: The look of the what gun?
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: A-Team on TV way back.
- 1:25:43Speaker 4: I remember the A-Team, but I don't remember what the
- 1:25:45Speaker 4: guns looked like they used. I don't remember that.
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: Yeah, they were stainless steel, and it turned out to
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: be a little Ruger Ranch rifle. Oh, okay. That's a
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: great little gun. I wouldn't want to slow that bullet
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: down any. I don't know. But as a matter of fact,
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: I'd be careful. I wouldn't use something that uses too
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: much gas in those guns. I had a I don't
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: know what the name of it is. It's the clamp
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: that goes over the place where the gas goes out
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: of the gun.
- 1:26:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: And it broke. So I had to take it to
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: the gunsmith. He wouldn't fix it, actually. Ruger wouldn't sell them.
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: They said, no, we need that gun back. We want
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: to look at it and check it out, which is
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: great for me. You know, I had a couple of friends.
- 1:26:34Speaker 4: Back in the 80s, Rusty, that had those nice-looking. 223s,
- 1:26:37Speaker 4: just like what you're talking about. And those are really
- 1:26:39Speaker 4: nice-looking guns. And they're excellent. They're good rifles. They really
- 1:26:43Speaker 4: are good guns. I call mine a. 223, too, because
- 1:26:46Speaker 4: that's the only rounds generally I fire out of it.
- 1:26:48Speaker 4: I don't use the.
- 1:26:49Speaker 24: 556s.
- 1:26:49Speaker 4: And like I said, I tend to go with the.
- 1:26:51Speaker 19: 223s.
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: That's the same thing. That's just the metric name for it.
- 1:26:56Speaker 4: Yeah, that's, I couldn't, once again, I still don't understand
- 1:27:00Speaker 4: the difference between a. 223 and a. 556. Are they identical?
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: There's no difference. One is metric and one is the
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: decimal system.
- 1:27:06Speaker 4: And that's it? That's it.
- 1:27:09Speaker 33: Man.
- 1:27:11Speaker 4: Look, you know more about guns than I do, Rusty.
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: Huh?
- 1:27:15Speaker 4: I said, you know more about guns or bullets than
- 1:27:18Speaker 4: I do, apparently.
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: Well, have you ever popped a can of rights?
- 1:27:24Speaker 4: I've seen people do it, but no, I've never gone
- 1:27:26Speaker 4: and shot Tannerite. But it's just the people go do
- 1:27:29Speaker 4: shoot it just because it creates explosions. And if you
- 1:27:31Speaker 4: get enough of it, it's a pretty big explosion, apparently. So, no,
- 1:27:34Speaker 4: I've never done that either.
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: You've got to get a faster bullet than the.
- 1:27:39Speaker 8: 223.
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: Oh, I didn't know that. I actually won. Well, okay, yeah.
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: I won a.
- 1:27:45Speaker 19: 302.
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: I forget what it is. It's a. 243. That's a
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: nice gun. Those are nice. You've got to have a
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: faster bullet than the.
- 1:27:59Speaker 25: 223.
- 1:28:00Speaker 4: You know, Rusty, what's funny is the really gun guys
- 1:28:04Speaker 4: I've talked to, they look at a. 223 just kind
- 1:28:06Speaker 4: of like a. 22 rifle. It's like a souped-up. 22
- 1:28:09Speaker 4: in their opinion, at least that's what they've told me.
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: A longer bullet with a lot of powder behind it.
- 1:28:18Speaker 4: Yep, it does have definitely got some plenty of powder
- 1:28:20Speaker 4: behind it because those. 223s, whenever I shoot them out
- 1:28:22Speaker 4: of my rifle, they seem just as effective. Put it
- 1:28:27Speaker 4: this way, I wouldn't hunt a hog with a. 22,
- 1:28:30Speaker 4: but I will definitely hunt a hog with a.
- 1:28:32Speaker 8: 223.
- 1:28:32Speaker 4: Yeah, I.
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: Had never hung a hog but uh yeah i won
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: that 243 gun in a super bowl i think i
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: won the halftime.
- 1:28:44Speaker 4: Well that's pretty cool man you went to 243 that's
- 1:28:46Speaker 4: a pretty good prize right there those are nice.
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: Guns yeah that was back in the 80s too like
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: i said but yeah i bought i bought my 223
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: through the newspaper so I only go through the government
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: for about half of my guns.
- 1:29:02Speaker 4: You sound like an outlaw, Rusty. All this time I
- 1:29:04Speaker 4: thought you were just a liberal, but you're not. You're
- 1:29:05Speaker 4: like one of these outlaw guys.
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: I'm from Texas, dude. Oh, that's a clip right there.
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: Let's veer off into the war a little bit, okay? Okay.
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: Or the excursion, whatever he calls it. But, you know,
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: it was Israel that led us into that war. I mean.
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: We sent him in to negotiate to find a MOU.
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: The Mullahs were going to get a MOU and give
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: it back to the United States. And we bombed them
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: at that meeting. I don't like assassination and such a
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: bad precedent. And Soleimani did the same thing. Trump did
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: that a few years ago.
- 1:29:53Speaker 4: But Where was Soleimani when he got assassinated, by the way?
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: About Trump.
- 1:30:01Speaker 4: No, when Trump assassinated him, where was Soleimani? Where was
- 1:30:07Speaker 4: he located?
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: I don't know. In Syria, I think.
- 1:30:10Speaker 4: No, he was in Iraq.
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 1:30:13Speaker 5: Whatever.
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: Same thing. But, yeah. But I heard that was the...
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: Commentary by Struzan just a few minutes ago. You know,
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: is that the art of the deal? You don't like
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: the people you're negotiating with. They won't bend to your suggestion.
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: And we just bomb them and try to get somebody
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: else to deal with.
- 1:30:47Speaker 4: Rusty, do you honestly believe we're just bombing them because
- 1:30:49Speaker 4: we disagree with them? Or maybe they were working towards
- 1:30:52Speaker 4: getting nuclear weapons that they willingly and openly admit they
- 1:30:55Speaker 4: would like to use them on the United States. They've
- 1:30:57Speaker 4: called us the great Satan and have called for exterminating
- 1:31:00Speaker 4: every person in our country off the face of the
- 1:31:03Speaker 4: planet repeatedly and exterminating Israel, too, who didn't lead us
- 1:31:07Speaker 4: into anything. There's Donald Trump walks by the beat of
- 1:31:09Speaker 4: his own drummer. So there's that. But do you think
- 1:31:12Speaker 4: maybe that maybe had something to do with it?
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: No, two things can be true. You don't assassinate the
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: leader of a country just because you can't reach a
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: deal with them. That's what's happening right now with the IRMR.
- 1:31:27Speaker 30: What if the deal consists of they're going to murder
- 1:31:30Speaker 30: you and your family?
- 1:31:31Speaker 4: What about that?
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: Well, that's your talking point. No, no, no, it's not
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: a talking point.
- 1:31:38Speaker 4: That's a fact.
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: You're the one giving me the talking points today. It
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: is a fact.
- 1:31:46Speaker 4: No, not they do now. They did before. They've called.
- 1:31:50Speaker 4: Once again, they hate America, and they want to wipe
- 1:31:52Speaker 4: us off the face of the planet. Once again, how
- 1:31:58Speaker 4: many Americans have died at the hands of Iranian or
- 1:32:01Speaker 4: Iranian proxies over the last, I don't know, 20, 30 years?
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: I don't know, man. You've got 9-11. But they're Saudis.
- 1:32:09Speaker 8: They're not Shiites.
- 1:32:14Speaker 4: Well, that's a different conversation. I'm not talking about 9-11.
- 1:32:16Speaker 4: I'm talking about Iran and how many Americans have died
- 1:32:19Speaker 4: at the hands of Iran or Iranian proxies via the
- 1:32:23Speaker 4: war in Iraq.
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: Or other Arabs.
- 1:32:27Speaker 9: I'm not talking about that.
- 1:32:28Speaker 4: I'm talking about us in particular. Can you not answer
- 1:32:30Speaker 4: that question? Because it sounds to me.
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: Like you're spouting off about.
- 1:32:33Speaker 4: Well, then that sounds to me like you don't... Okay,
- 1:32:36Speaker 4: so how many Americans have to die before they become
- 1:32:38Speaker 4: a problem to America?
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: Well, what, 9-11? I don't know. We started assassinating people.
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: At what number are we at now?
- 1:32:51Speaker 4: What number of what?
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: Of people we got to kill.
- 1:32:58Speaker 4: Are you talking about it from a particular country, from
- 1:33:00Speaker 4: a particular region? What are you referring to?
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the theory of war. You keep killing their
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: people until they surrender.
- 1:33:12Speaker 4: So it's okay for them to kill our people, but
- 1:33:13Speaker 4: it's not okay for us to return fire, is what
- 1:33:16Speaker 4: you're saying?
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: No, I'm just saying, how many are we at right now?
- 1:33:20Speaker 4: Well, I was asking you. Well, I don't know. It
- 1:33:25Speaker 4: doesn't matter? Well, you explained to me, you don't even
- 1:33:29Speaker 4: know how many Americans have been killed, so that's not
- 1:33:31Speaker 4: a priority to you.
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: I said about 5,000.
- 1:33:33Speaker 17: I don't know.
- 1:33:34Speaker 4: Well, that was a good guess, I guess. I guess
- 1:33:36Speaker 4: it could be around there. And I asked you a question.
- 1:33:38Speaker 4: How many does it take before it becomes a problem
- 1:33:41Speaker 4: where it justifies a military response?
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: Well, they've already got 18, I think. How many have
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: they killed so far?
- 1:33:49Speaker 4: You talking about the leaders of Iran?
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: No, since the war started. You talking about 18?
- 1:33:57Speaker 4: Once again, there's a big blind spot in your logic here, Rustin.
- 1:34:00Speaker 4: I'm trying to get you.
- 1:34:00Speaker 2: To focus on this.
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: How many Americans have died since the war started?
- 1:34:05Speaker 4: I guess probably 18 military members have died, probably.
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: Okay, you asked how many people got to die before
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: we do something. I don't know. No, no, no, that's
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: after we've done.
- 1:34:15Speaker 4: Hold on, hold on, Rusty. Rusty, apples and oranges. That's
- 1:34:17Speaker 4: after we started doing something. I'm talking about before. How
- 1:34:21Speaker 4: many people does, American people does Iran have to kill
- 1:34:24Speaker 4: in order for it to be enough for you to
- 1:34:26Speaker 4: actually justify some sort of military response?
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: Well, see, it's the straight of our moves. It's that
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: argument right there. I'm not talking about the straight.
- 1:34:36Speaker 4: No, no, I'm asking you a question. It's a very straight, Rusty,
- 1:34:39Speaker 4: it's a very straightforward question. How many Americans have to die,
- 1:34:42Speaker 4: in your opinion, before that justifies a military response?
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: Well, like I said, the 18 plus one, if they
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: kill one more.
- 1:34:52Speaker 4: Thanks for the call, Rusty. You can't focus. You can't.
- 1:34:54Speaker 4: You're talking about what started after the military operation. I
- 1:34:58Speaker 4: keep asking you, how many Americans have to die to
- 1:35:03Speaker 4: justify a military response? Obviously, on 9-11, that justified a
- 1:35:07Speaker 4: military response. Obviously, in the Gulf War, in Iraq, well,
- 1:35:11Speaker 4: there's a lot of Americans that were killed in the
- 1:35:12Speaker 4: hands of Iranians. Look at the WMD, not the WMDs,
- 1:35:16Speaker 4: the IEDs. improvised explosive devices. Look at those. Soleimani was
- 1:35:22Speaker 4: killed in Iraq. There's an Iranian dude running around Iraq.
- 1:35:24Speaker 4: What was he doing in a war zone? Okay. Once again,
- 1:35:28Speaker 4: you strategically ignore that portion of the debate because it
- 1:35:32Speaker 4: doesn't suit your argument. That's the difference between you and I.
- 1:35:36Speaker 4: When you asked how many Americans were killed since the
- 1:35:38Speaker 4: operation started, I said about 18. If I believe we're 18,
- 1:35:42Speaker 4: and that's terrible. I don't like losing any American. But
- 1:35:45Speaker 4: the number that you pulled out of a hat, around 5,000,
- 1:35:48Speaker 4: That's a lot of Americans that have died before the
- 1:35:51Speaker 4: military invasion. Before it happened. Not to mention the fact
- 1:35:55Speaker 4: that they were working on trying to get a nuclear
- 1:35:57Speaker 4: weapon that you seem to have somehow completely forgotten. Okay.
- 1:36:01Speaker 4: What are they going to do with that nuclear weapon?
- 1:36:04Speaker 4: Bomb us or our allies? They have called death to
- 1:36:08Speaker 4: America repeatedly. They're not even hiding it, Rusty. It's amazing
- 1:36:12Speaker 4: that you can't see that. Or you just ignore it
- 1:36:15Speaker 4: because it doesn't suit you politically. I guess that's kind
- 1:36:19Speaker 4: of like having guns that the government doesn't know about.
- 1:36:23Speaker 4: Suit you. Thanks for the call, Rusty. Always good to
- 1:36:25Speaker 4: hear from you. 281-558-KSEV. I'm Chris X. We'll be right back.

- 1:38:43Speaker 4: Onyx, I keep having stomach issues. Please make me a
- 1:38:45Speaker 4: doctor's appointment.
- 1:38:46Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:38:47Speaker 33: Are you suffering from diarrhea, bloating, gas, or oily stools?
- 1:38:50Speaker 33: If so, you may want to ask your doctor if
- 1:38:52Speaker 33: it could actually be a problem with your pancreas, called
- 1:38:54Speaker 33: exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, or EPI.
- 1:38:57Speaker 4: My pancreas? How is EPI treated?
- 1:38:59Speaker 33: A prescription medicine like Creon, pancrelipase, is used to treat
- 1:39:02Speaker 33: people who can't digest food normally because their pancreas doesn't
- 1:39:04Speaker 33: make enough enzymes. Creon is the number one prescribed treatment
- 1:39:07Speaker 33: for EPI.
- 1:39:08Speaker 26: Creon may increase your chance of fibrosing colonopathy, a rare
- 1:39:10Speaker 26: bowel disorder. Tell your doctor if you have a history
- 1:39:12Speaker 26: of intestinal blockage or scarring or thickening of your bowel wall,
- 1:39:15Speaker 26: if you are allergic to pork, or if you have gout,
- 1:39:17Speaker 26: kidney problems, or worsening of painful swollen joints. Call your
- 1:39:19Speaker 26: doctor if you have any unusual or severe gastrointestinal symptoms
- 1:39:22Speaker 26: or allergic reactions. Take Creon as directed by your doctor
- 1:39:25Speaker 26: and always with food. Do not chew capsules, as this
- 1:39:27Speaker 26: may cause mouth irritation. Other side effects may include blood
- 1:39:30Speaker 26: sugar changes, gas, dizziness, sore throat, and cough. These are
- 1:39:33Speaker 26: not all the side effects of Creon. You can learn
- 1:39:35Speaker 26: more at 1-800-633-9110.

- 1:39:44Speaker 8: From the KSEV Weather Center, tonight we'll bring partly cloudy
- 1:39:48Speaker 8: skies and humid conditions with a low temperature of 79°C
- 1:39:51Speaker 8: Tomorrow is expected to be very warm with a mix
- 1:39:53Speaker 8: of clouds and sunshine along with isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon.
- 1:39:57Speaker 8: The high will reach 96 degrees. Tomorrow night will be
- 1:40:00Speaker 8: mainly clear and humid with a low around 78. Looking
- 1:40:03Speaker 8: ahead to Wednesday, it will be very warm with plenty
- 1:40:05Speaker 8: of sunshine and a few clouds reaching a high of
- 1:40:07Speaker 8: 98 degrees. With the KSCB Weather Center forecast, I'm AccuWeather
- 1:40:11Speaker 8: meteorologist Jason Catarina.
- 1:40:19Speaker 9: Fake news hates us. Fake news hates us. Chris X Radio.
- 1:40:24Speaker 9: Chris X Radio.
- 1:40:37Speaker 4: So will MySpace make a comeback? Is it really coming back?
- 1:40:41Speaker 4: I wonder how Tom's doing. I haven't seen that guy
- 1:40:43Speaker 4: in a while. I remember MySpace. Remember, didn't Justin Timberlake
- 1:40:48Speaker 4: buy it and make it a music site or something?
- 1:40:52Speaker 4: We'll see.
- 1:40:52Speaker 9: Anyway.
- 1:40:53Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:40:53Speaker 19: So.
- 1:40:54Speaker 4: Let me get this right, Lucas. That last guy I
- 1:40:56Speaker 4: was talking to, Rusty, did he tell me early on
- 1:40:58Speaker 4: that he has guns that the government knows about, but
- 1:41:00Speaker 4: he also has guns that the government doesn't know about?
- 1:41:02Speaker 4: And then he was arguing with me about Iran and
- 1:41:05Speaker 4: negotiating with Iran because somehow Israel, it's all the Jews'
- 1:41:08Speaker 4: fault because Israel got us into it when I know
- 1:41:11Speaker 4: that they didn't because Donald Trump doesn't do what other
- 1:41:13Speaker 4: people tell him to do. He's the president of the
- 1:41:15Speaker 4: United States. He's the CEO. He's the commander-in-chief. So it's
- 1:41:19Speaker 4: obvious that's the case, once again. You have to ignore
- 1:41:22Speaker 4: everything else they quote-unquote tell us about Donald Trump. But
- 1:41:25Speaker 4: then we was talking about, once again, he couldn't give
- 1:41:26Speaker 4: me an answer on how many Americans have to die
- 1:41:30Speaker 4: before that, well, would trigger a military response. I'm saying
- 1:41:37Speaker 4: if one American dies, that could trigger an American response.
- 1:41:41Speaker 4: But maybe two, maybe 10, maybe 20, maybe 50, maybe 100,
- 1:41:43Speaker 4: maybe 200. Maybe 500. Maybe 1,000. Maybe the number he
- 1:41:50Speaker 4: threw out, 5,000, was not enough to justify a military
- 1:41:54Speaker 4: response from Rusty. Not the advent of them attempting to
- 1:41:59Speaker 4: build a nuclear weapon, which they would most definitely use
- 1:42:03Speaker 4: somewhere if given the opportunity. And they've called us the
- 1:42:06Speaker 4: great Satan. They chant death to America always. None of
- 1:42:12Speaker 4: that justifies a military response.
- 1:42:15Speaker 19: Okay.
- 1:42:15Speaker 24: Okay.
- 1:42:17Speaker 4: Methinks someone is politically blinded. That sounds like he has
- 1:42:24Speaker 4: at least a couple of nice guns. That's a nice.
- 1:42:27Speaker 4: 223 and a.
- 1:42:27Speaker 8: 243.
- 1:42:27Speaker 4: Those Remington. 243s are pretty good. But then again, kid,
- 1:42:33Speaker 4: this is why I say drugs are bad, because they
- 1:42:35Speaker 4: create holes in your brain. And then there's holes that
- 1:42:38Speaker 4: you can't see. You can drive trucks to them, but
- 1:42:40Speaker 4: you can't see them. Like, once again, I think... You know,
- 1:42:45Speaker 4: I know it could be a moving target. It may
- 1:42:46Speaker 4: not just be one number. But at what point, how
- 1:42:49Speaker 4: many Americans have to be killed to justify a military response?
- 1:42:55Speaker 4: I think Iran has not only far exceeded that number,
- 1:42:59Speaker 4: but they would make it exponentially worse if, in fact,
- 1:43:03Speaker 4: we didn't take out their nuclear program. And we've taken
- 1:43:05Speaker 4: it out. And now we're putting them under control. I
- 1:43:09Speaker 4: hate the fact that we have to do this. I
- 1:43:12Speaker 4: wish the rest of the world would behave. But then again,
- 1:43:14Speaker 4: if men wouldn't break laws, we wouldn't need cops. We
- 1:43:18Speaker 4: wouldn't need lawyers. We wouldn't need attorneys. We wouldn't need courts.
- 1:43:20Speaker 4: We wouldn't need judges. But unfortunately, there are people in
- 1:43:23Speaker 4: this world that want to take your daughter, take her
- 1:43:26Speaker 4: behind a shed, and rape her to death. That's what
- 1:43:32Speaker 4: the Hamas monsters did to Jews on October, was it
- 1:43:38Speaker 4: October 21st? just a couple years ago, when they invaded
- 1:43:44Speaker 4: Israel and murdered, raped, tortured innocent people. That's what they
- 1:43:50Speaker 4: would do to us. That's what people like Hassan Piker
- 1:43:53Speaker 4: have said, hey, you know, you're going to get your
- 1:43:55Speaker 4: American daughter is going to get raped. By what, Muslim invaders?
- 1:44:00Speaker 4: You wonder why people have this problem with Islam? That's why.
- 1:44:05Speaker 4: And then you have Rusty. Guys that have a hole
- 1:44:10Speaker 4: in his logic so big you can drive a nuclear
- 1:44:13Speaker 4: weapon through. It's just funny to me. I just try
- 1:44:19Speaker 4: to have a normal conversation. I like Rusty. He seems
- 1:44:21Speaker 4: like a super nice guy. He really does. But... He
- 1:44:25Speaker 4: doesn't know how many Americans have died. Doesn't really want
- 1:44:28Speaker 4: to know how many Americans have died. He's more interested
- 1:44:30Speaker 4: in how many Americans have died since the military operation began.
- 1:44:33Speaker 4: Not what got us there, but since it began. Now
- 1:44:36Speaker 4: that's important too. I admitted that we have 18 members
- 1:44:39Speaker 4: of the military that have died since this, and I
- 1:44:41Speaker 4: hate that. I hate the fact that any American has died.
- 1:44:48Speaker 4: But I do believe it is important to understand why
- 1:44:51Speaker 4: we are where we are in the world. Donald Trump
- 1:44:53Speaker 4: is finding this out. He came in and went, okay,
- 1:44:57Speaker 4: I got these issues. The war in Ukraine with Russia.
- 1:45:01Speaker 4: It wasn't done on day one. Now, I know it
- 1:45:04Speaker 4: didn't start when he was in office, but that's where
- 1:45:07Speaker 4: we are. This is where we are in the world.
- 1:45:10Speaker 4: The rest of the world doesn't necessarily have the altruistic,
- 1:45:15Speaker 4: not that necessarily we are that altruistic, but we do
- 1:45:18Speaker 4: believe in something called basic human rights. And there are
- 1:45:21Speaker 4: those on the left that are constantly creating rights for
- 1:45:23Speaker 4: things that don't even exist. But that's because they're crazy
- 1:45:27Speaker 4: and it's too good in our country. Don't worry. When
- 1:45:30Speaker 4: the Muslims they're supporting that get elected, when enough of
- 1:45:32Speaker 4: them get elected, they're going to take over our country
- 1:45:35Speaker 4: and you're going to wish you had rights then. Because
- 1:45:37Speaker 4: we see what it's like in every Muslim country where
- 1:45:41Speaker 4: they're in charge. Spoiler alert, human rights are not the
- 1:45:46Speaker 4: top of their list of priorities. Rights for women and
- 1:45:49Speaker 4: women being able to control access of who has access
- 1:45:53Speaker 4: to their body or what they're doing or living their
- 1:45:56Speaker 4: life or owning property or being treated anything other than
- 1:45:59Speaker 4: a second, third, fourth, fifth class citizen. I sure hope
- 1:46:05Speaker 4: to God you don't get what you guys are voting for.
- 1:46:07Speaker 4: All right, let's take a short break. We'll come back
- 1:46:09Speaker 4: and wrap up today's show. You're listening to Chris X Radio, 281-558-KSCV.
- 1:46:14Speaker 4: I always enjoy hearing people like Rusty talk. I don't
- 1:46:19Speaker 4: necessarily enjoy when I ask them a question and they
- 1:46:21Speaker 4: can't answer it. But that's okay that you can't answer
- 1:46:24Speaker 4: a question, but you should be able to answer the
- 1:46:25Speaker 4: follow-up or the follow-up to that one or the other one,
- 1:46:28Speaker 4: since I'm usually readily available to answer any question I'm asked.
- 1:46:31Speaker 4: I always do. There's a reason. I've actually studied both
- 1:46:36Speaker 4: sides of the issue, inside and out, thoroughly. something that
- 1:46:41Speaker 4: most people refuse to do. They come to a conclusion
- 1:46:44Speaker 4: and only study what they believe and ignore the other side.
- 1:46:49Speaker 4: That's how you get big, giant holes in your logic
- 1:46:52Speaker 4: that you can drive a nuclear bomb through. All right, 281-558-KSEV.
- 1:46:56Speaker 4: We'll be right back to wrap up today's show.

- 1:48:24Speaker 9: Hello, friends. Let's be honest.
- 1:48:28Speaker 5: Every business says they're better, but the ones that earn
- 1:48:32Speaker 5: the prestigious BBB seal back it up. That's why it's
- 1:48:35Speaker 5: the sign of a better business. And it instantly identifies
- 1:48:39Speaker 5: reputable businesses you can trust. So look for the BBB
- 1:48:43Speaker 5: seal because it's looking out for you. It's the sign
- 1:48:46Speaker 5: of a better business. And find a better business anytime

- 1:48:55Speaker 30: Thank goodness our weather experts are providing us with hurricane
- 1:48:58Speaker 30: tracking charts and reminding us to be prepared for big storms.
- 1:49:01Speaker 30: But they overlook one very important thing, the damage and
- 1:49:04Speaker 30: destruction from broken limbs and uprooted trees. Call Louis Flory
- 1:49:07Speaker 30: at Ability Tree Experts today. My friend for nearly 40 years.
- 1:49:12Speaker 30: At 281-441-4179 and let him explain how this problem can
- 1:49:16Speaker 30: be minimized with professional pruning. You see, when the tree
- 1:49:19Speaker 30: canopy is too thick and dense, the tree can be
- 1:49:22Speaker 30: completely blown over and tree limbs broken, causing terrible damage
- 1:49:26Speaker 30: to the tree and maybe your home. Where tree limbs break,
- 1:49:30Speaker 30: sap will ooze and that attracts harmful insects. So you
- 1:49:33Speaker 30: need to call Louis Flory today. at 281-441-4179 and have
- 1:49:39Speaker 30: his experts come out and professionally prune your trees to
- 1:49:42Speaker 30: withstand sudden storms that are so frequent this time of year.
- 1:49:46Speaker 30: Visit their website at AbilityTrees.com. That's 281-441-4179. Ability Tree Experts,
- 1:49:53Speaker 30: Houston's leading tree care professional.
- 1:49:56Speaker 9: And now, back to Chris X Radio on The Voice
- 1:50:00Speaker 9: of Texas.
- 1:50:10Speaker 4: A little ballroom blitz our way out of here. Welcome
- 1:50:15Speaker 4: back to Chris X Radio. You reached the final segment
- 1:50:17Speaker 4: of the program. We're about to wrap things up. We'll
- 1:50:20Speaker 4: be back tomorrow for your Taco Tuesday edition of the program,
- 1:50:24Speaker 4: which I didn't talk about food. I could have talked
- 1:50:26Speaker 4: about burgers all day, but I didn't. I don't. I'm
- 1:50:30Speaker 4: trying to think of something else to eat besides a
- 1:50:31Speaker 4: burger tonight. And then here in about five minutes, I'm
- 1:50:34Speaker 4: going to be looking for something because I'm hungry. I
- 1:50:37Speaker 4: know it shocks everybody that I'm hungry. At dinnertime while
- 1:50:40Speaker 4: I'm doing my radio show. All right, to wrap up
- 1:50:43Speaker 4: today's show here. By the way, I appreciate the call
- 1:50:45Speaker 4: from Rusty. It's always an interesting conversation with old Rusty,
- 1:50:49Speaker 4: to say the least. He doesn't necessarily look at both
- 1:50:53Speaker 4: sides of the issue. I think he looks at both
- 1:50:55Speaker 4: sides of the rolling papers, but not necessarily that. Or
- 1:50:57Speaker 4: both sides of the gummies, maybe that. Reminds me, I
- 1:51:02Speaker 4: miss old Gummy Gary. He was a great dude. Anywho, okay,
- 1:51:07Speaker 4: so another body has been found floating in the bayou
- 1:51:09Speaker 4: here in Houston near the Gulf Freeway. A body was
- 1:51:12Speaker 4: found floating face down near the Gulf Freeway this morning,
- 1:51:15Speaker 4: according to the Houston Fire Department. Now, HFD crews responded
- 1:51:21Speaker 4: around 1019 a.m. to the 6300 block of the Gulf
- 1:51:25Speaker 4: Freeway for what was being called a water rescue call.
- 1:51:28Speaker 4: Firefighters located the body and turned the scene over to
- 1:51:31Speaker 4: the Houston Police Department. No additional information was about the
- 1:51:35Speaker 4: person or circumstances surrounding the death was immediately available. And
- 1:51:40Speaker 4: the investigation is ongoing. And I asked if part of
- 1:51:43Speaker 4: the investigation is anyone checking under the bridges in the
- 1:51:47Speaker 4: area for a colony of vampires. Since I came up
- 1:51:53Speaker 4: with this theory months ago, no one has been able
- 1:51:55Speaker 4: to disprove my theory that a colony of vampires is
- 1:51:59Speaker 4: preying on the humans in the Houston area and then
- 1:52:02Speaker 4: dumping their bodies in the bayous. Anyone who ever saw
- 1:52:07Speaker 4: an interview with a vampire... And by the way, over
- 1:52:11Speaker 4: the weekend, what was it? Was it.
- 1:52:16Speaker 4: It was the Dracula movie with Keanu Reeves in it. Which,
- 1:52:19Speaker 4: going back and watching it, it also had some really
- 1:52:23Speaker 4: good actors. It had Anthony Hopkins in it. It had
- 1:52:27Speaker 4: Gary Oldman. A very young and very beautiful Winona Ryder.
- 1:52:33Speaker 4: She didn't age quite as well.
- 1:52:34Speaker 9: I think she.
- 1:52:36Speaker 4: Probably had a few too many drinks probably and far
- 1:52:38Speaker 4: too many cigarettes and God knows what else. But she's
- 1:52:42Speaker 4: had that comeback with, what was the show? Stranger Things.
- 1:52:46Speaker 4: So I'm glad to see she's had a comeback. But nonetheless,
- 1:52:51Speaker 4: the movie was a little better than I remember it.
- 1:52:54Speaker 4: Not that it was great. Oh, Keanu Reeves. Man, in
- 1:53:02Speaker 4: the 80s and 90s, he was all over the place.
- 1:53:04Speaker 4: I think Keanu Reeves sort of got a bad rap.
- 1:53:06Speaker 4: He's not a terrible actor. Not a very multi-dimensional actor,
- 1:53:10Speaker 4: but he's good in pretty much everything he's in. And
- 1:53:14Speaker 4: he seems like a great dude. From what I'm told,
- 1:53:16Speaker 4: Keanu Reeves is a very good human being. He's good
- 1:53:21Speaker 4: to his family and his friends. And he is not
- 1:53:23Speaker 4: your typical Hollywood jerk. Or jerk bag, as I've referred
- 1:53:27Speaker 4: to them on occasion. Anyway, okay, we're done. We'll be
- 1:53:30Speaker 4: back tomorrow for our Taco Tuesday edition of Chris X Radio.
- 1:53:33Speaker 4: Be safe. We'll see you tomorrow. Stay away from the bayous.
