Latest / Gil I Am / Tom Klingenstein and Trump Virtues Part III_ The Interview
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: There's a number thing you're good at a virtue asserting,
- 0:04Speaker 1: and in war, asserting is more important than explained. Woke military,
- 0:17Speaker 1: What are you going to do well?
- 0:19Speaker 2: The military is not walk Some of the really foolish
- 0:23Speaker 2: leaders on the top are woke. But I took out
- 0:26Speaker 2: Isis and there was nothing woke about it. I dealt
- 0:29Speaker 2: with the general. You could put him and his men
- 0:32Speaker 2: in a room and scream woke at them for ten
- 0:36Speaker 2: years and they'd walk out, and they wouldn't.
- 0:38Speaker 1: But there are a bunch of generals at the top
- 0:40Speaker 1: that are wrecked and you're going to get rid of
- 0:41Speaker 1: you'd get rid of them.
- 0:42Speaker 2: I get rid of them so fast, and I know
- 0:44Speaker 2: who they are. They're weak, ineffective people, and they are
- 0:48Speaker 2: actually woke. I think they actually believe it. It was.
- 0:51Speaker 2: I was told in Washington it would take at least
- 0:53Speaker 2: four or five years and we probably couldn't do it.
- 0:56Speaker 2: I did it in four weeks.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Change gears a little go ahead. There are a lot
- 1:00Speaker 1: of people out there, Republicans modern Democrats, who say we're
- 1:08Speaker 1: not going to vote for Trump because we don't like
- 1:09Speaker 1: them right now. My response to that is, who cares
- 1:14Speaker 1: whether you like the guy right This isn't a choice
- 1:18Speaker 1: of who you want for dinner. It's not a choice
- 1:22Speaker 1: even of who has the best character. What you're being
- 1:25Speaker 1: asked to decide is whether you want a man who
- 1:29Speaker 1: wants to save and make America agree and a woman
- 1:33Speaker 1: who will, whether by accident or not, destroy us. That's it.
- 1:39Speaker 2: So, first of all, she's a disaster if she becomes president.
- 1:43Speaker 2: I think Israel is going to be wiped off the
- 1:45Speaker 2: face of the earth very quickly. I think things are
- 1:48Speaker 2: going to happen at a level that we've never seen before.
- 1:50Speaker 1: There are reports that the ABC debate team coordinated with
- 1:56Speaker 1: Kamala's team.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Her friend is the head of the ABC I think
- 2:00Speaker 2: news division or whatever. Her best friend. His best friend
- 2:04Speaker 2: is her husband. They met through these people, And oh,
- 2:08Speaker 2: I have absolutely no idea because those answers not good memory.
- 2:13Speaker 2: But those answers were sort of semi memorized. In fact,
- 2:17Speaker 2: on occasion, she'd get out of kilter and should give
- 2:19Speaker 2: the wrong answer to the wrong question. That's what we've got. No,
- 2:23Speaker 2: I was but even worse than that, And that's bad,
- 2:26Speaker 2: you know that's bad. But they would interrupt me every time,
- 2:31Speaker 2: and I said, what's going on here? And I had
- 2:33Speaker 2: a choice during the debate. I was going to say,
- 2:35Speaker 2: like I was going to hit him hard, but I
- 2:37Speaker 2: wanted to be elegant. I wanted to say, let's try
- 2:40Speaker 2: and forget about it, because I know if I hit him,
- 2:42Speaker 2: they'll say, oh, he played into their hands. You know.
- 2:45Speaker 2: There was like to say that if I fight for myself,
- 2:47Speaker 2: for instance, if they say something negative and I try
- 2:50Speaker 2: and correct them just quickly, I don't want to waste
- 2:52Speaker 2: a lot of time on it because usually it's nonsense.
- 2:55Speaker 2: They say, oh, he played right into a hat? Did
- 2:57Speaker 2: him play into anybody's answer?
- 2:59Speaker 1: I want a one answer. Are you capable of one word?
- 3:02Speaker 2: Yes?
- 3:03Speaker 1: Uh?
- 3:04Speaker 2: Well sometimes you am? I capable if it's doable.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Okay, Kamala says, vote for her, and you're voting for joy.
- 3:16Speaker 1: What's the one word counterpart?
- 3:18Speaker 2: Competence? Competence, but real competence, real, real competence, not just
- 3:23Speaker 2: he's he's sort of a competent part.
- 3:25Speaker 1: No real copt let's change subjects. Republican Convention. The highlight,
- 3:31Speaker 1: of course, was your granddaughter. Yes, And I thought a
- 3:37Speaker 1: related highlight was actually your adoring look at your granddaughter.
- 3:45Speaker 1: That it's a kind of look that a grandfather has
- 3:48Speaker 1: that you can't fake, right, It's kind of like when
- 3:51Speaker 1: your smaller granddaughter got up in your knee. Kids don't
- 3:55Speaker 1: do that unless they're comfortable. So I thought, I thought
- 3:59Speaker 1: that was very sweet. Actually, uh, it inspires me to
- 4:04Speaker 1: ask when she said, he tries to get into my head. Yeah,
- 4:10Speaker 1: how do you do that?
- 4:11Speaker 2: Well, she's a very competent person and a very smart person.
- 4:15Speaker 2: And she's a great athlete. She's a great golf she's
- 4:17Speaker 2: actually a great golfer, not just like.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Oh, but not quite as good as you are yet
- 4:22Speaker 1: I hope not.
- 4:23Speaker 2: No, I actually hope. So I want her to be
- 4:25Speaker 2: much better than me, if that's doable. It's you know,
- 4:28Speaker 2: the man has an advantage, even though some would like
- 4:31Speaker 2: to say men playing in women's sports. Okay, But but
- 4:35Speaker 2: she's really good and uh and highly competitive. I thought
- 4:39Speaker 2: it was very cute when she said that.
- 4:41Speaker 1: No, but you know, but what do you do? Do
- 4:43Speaker 1: you know what you're going to.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Want to I want to try to beat her, always
- 4:49Speaker 2: want to try and beat her. And I think that's
- 4:52Speaker 2: the best thing I can do for her because she's
- 4:55Speaker 2: a competitive your character, Yeah, I mean I saw movie
- 5:00Speaker 2: years ago. Mommy dearest, now I don't want to be that.
- 5:04Speaker 2: You understand that where the mother was ruthless in the
- 5:08Speaker 2: way now I don't know. It was about an actress
- 5:11Speaker 2: who from Hollywood. You know the whole story. I think
- 5:13Speaker 2: it was sort of a great movie, but it was
- 5:17Speaker 2: where the mother was just ruthless in defeating the daughter.
- 5:21Speaker 2: She wanted to defeat her, she wanted to bury her,
- 5:24Speaker 2: she wanted to just and no, it's other. But but
- 5:29Speaker 2: you know, you want to be competitive and you want
- 5:32Speaker 2: to have fun. Sometimes somebody can't.
- 5:36Speaker 1: It reminds me of one of your virtues. I have
- 5:40Speaker 1: written in the past, as you know, about your virtues,
- 5:44Speaker 1: not policy but rather intangible attributes people say about you.
- 5:51Speaker 1: I love his policies, but I don't like the rest
- 5:53Speaker 1: of it. And that's kind it backwards. It's the rest
- 5:57Speaker 1: of him. Anybody can duplicate your Palwason. Many people do,
- 6:01Speaker 1: but there's no one who can match your character. And
- 6:05Speaker 1: one aspect of your character that I think you revealed
- 6:08Speaker 1: just there is authenticity. If you get an email from
- 6:13Speaker 1: President Trump, you know it's from President Trump and no
- 6:17Speaker 1: assistance said it, because only President Trump can talk the
- 6:21Speaker 1: way you do. Whether you're on the golf course, with
- 6:24Speaker 1: your granddaughter, or with me, or with anybody you're saying.
- 6:28Speaker 1: You may not like you, but you know it's you.
- 6:32Speaker 1: And authenticity I think in politics is very rare.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Well, I think it is rare. And you know, you
- 6:38Speaker 2: have so many phonies, you have so many people you say,
- 6:41Speaker 2: what are they doing? Why would they be doing that?
- 6:43Speaker 2: And they don't believe what they're doing in the first place.
- 6:46Speaker 2: But it's interesting because you mentioned policy, so a lot
- 6:49Speaker 2: of people have said, we love his policy, but we
- 6:51Speaker 2: don't like him. I actually think I'm a nice guy.
- 6:54Speaker 2: I actually have good relationships with people when they get
- 6:56Speaker 2: to know me. But one of the things is that
- 6:59Speaker 2: I'm I'm constrained. I can't take a lot of time
- 7:02Speaker 2: in some of the niceties because trying to do a job,
- 7:04Speaker 2: whatever it may be. But there's a certain senator who
- 7:08Speaker 2: you wouldn't like because he tends to be he's a Republican,
- 7:11Speaker 2: but he tends to be somewhat liberal. But he's a
- 7:13Speaker 2: good man. He is generally right about a lot of things,
- 7:17Speaker 2: but he tends to be very a little bit on
- 7:21Speaker 2: the liberal side for where he is. Okay, he said,
- 7:23Speaker 2: wait a minute, you don't understand about the policy. Trump
- 7:27Speaker 2: policy doesn't work if Trump's not doing it. And he
- 7:31Speaker 2: gives the example of I have a policy and then
- 7:33Speaker 2: I call up the leader of a country and I
- 7:36Speaker 2: forced the policy down their throat. Most people can't do that.
- 7:40Speaker 2: They can't force the policy down. When France put a
- 7:43Speaker 2: tax on our country, and they wouldn't under any circumstance.
- 7:46Speaker 2: They wouldn't. For Minutchin for all of these smart guys
- 7:50Speaker 2: you have working for you, they wouldn't do anything about it.
- 7:52Speaker 2: I called him and I said, oh, you're going to
- 7:54Speaker 2: do it, one hundred percent. You're going to do it. No, No,
- 7:57Speaker 2: I cannot do it. To Macrone, nice guy. Know it's
- 8:00Speaker 2: a wise guy and he likes France, but he's a
- 8:02Speaker 2: nice guy. I said, no, no, you're going to do it.
- 8:04Speaker 2: But it was approved already by our the equivalent of legislature,
- 8:08Speaker 2: right by our parliament. But it was approved already. It
- 8:11Speaker 2: doesn't matter if it's proved, you're going to do it.
- 8:13Speaker 2: I said. If you don't do it, I'm going to
- 8:15Speaker 2: charge you one hundred percent tariff on every one and
- 8:18Speaker 2: every bottle of champagne that you sent into our country.
- 8:21Speaker 2: And I don't want to take a lot of time,
- 8:22Speaker 2: but he essentially said I would be really very much inclined.
- 8:28Speaker 2: I said, don't be inclined. Are you going to take
- 8:29Speaker 2: the tax off or not? He said, I will take
- 8:32Speaker 2: the tax off immediately. So they all had my policy.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Nobody was able to get it done, but I got
- 8:38Speaker 2: it done. So it's not just policy.
- 8:40Speaker 1: I think you're right. I'm jumping all over them.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Yes, you go ahead.
- 8:46Speaker 1: I think we're in a war, okay, and at a
- 8:50Speaker 1: philosophical lift, what makes it a war is the two
- 8:54Speaker 1: sides have different understandings of justice one side, our side
- 8:59Speaker 1: believes it in individual merit. Their side believes in group quotas.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Those don't mix. You can't admit people the school based
- 9:08Speaker 1: on merit and quotas. Right, philosophically, right, theoretically, that's what
- 9:14Speaker 1: makes it a war. And then there's all kinds of
- 9:17Speaker 1: evidence right that the other side is trying to destroy America,
- 9:23Speaker 1: open borders, foreign energy dependence, educating Chinese nationals will go
- 9:29Speaker 1: back to China. Quota is everywhere. Teaching about America is racist.
- 9:37Speaker 1: But that's the number one thing. So the first point
- 9:40Speaker 1: is we're in a war. We need a warrior, right,
- 9:44Speaker 1: you're a wartime president you may not be some other
- 9:47Speaker 1: time president, but you're a wartime president. And I think
- 9:53Speaker 1: one of the things that we have to recognize is
- 9:58Speaker 1: that the key weapon they have is very simple. They
- 10:02Speaker 1: say we're racist, they say we're evil, and that provides
- 10:07Speaker 1: them the justification for overturning America. And as I said
- 10:13Speaker 1: to you earlier, one of your great virtues, part of
- 10:19Speaker 1: the rest of you that people don't attend enough to,
- 10:23Speaker 1: is that you don't have white guilt. And when people
- 10:27Speaker 1: say America is racist, you can say horsemen. And that's
- 10:32Speaker 1: what we have to do. There are no politicians other
- 10:36Speaker 1: than you that I'm aware of, who are willing to
- 10:41Speaker 1: simply assertively dismiss. There's another thing, by the way, that
- 10:46Speaker 1: you're good at a virtue, asserting, not explaining. You're not
- 10:51Speaker 1: a great explainer. You're an assertor, and in war, asserting
- 10:56Speaker 1: is more important than explaining. So I think the point
- 11:01Speaker 1: I wanted to make in a point to the audience
- 11:03Speaker 1: is that the absence of white guilt and you were
- 11:08Speaker 1: ability therefore to rebut the charge that were racist is
- 11:14Speaker 1: absolutely essential.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Well that's very differently explained than anybody I've heard, and
- 11:19Speaker 2: it's very true. And what you're saying is, and I
- 11:22Speaker 2: mean I watched some of these very weak people just
- 11:26Speaker 2: cower at the thought of being called a racist. They
- 11:28Speaker 2: call everybody a racist. You always know that's their final
- 11:31Speaker 2: When you're winning, that means they start calling erasism.
- 11:34Speaker 1: I think it would be helpful for you to actually
- 11:38Speaker 1: more often make the claim we're not racist. You make
- 11:44Speaker 1: the claim that the media is fake. You gave us
- 11:50Speaker 1: a word. You didn't have to explain it great, everybody
- 11:53Speaker 1: knew the media.
- 11:55Speaker 2: It's a vague, great word. You have to say it
- 11:57Speaker 2: is a good word, but not strong enough. Though it
- 12:01Speaker 2: was a great word. No, it was a great word.
- 12:03Speaker 2: It's not true.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Well do you have you want to amend they're corrupt.
- 12:06Speaker 1: My point is you gave permission for other people to
- 12:10Speaker 1: say it correct, not just you say it. Now. A
- 12:13Speaker 1: lot of people say it. And it's the same thing
- 12:16Speaker 1: with we're not racist. We you know, the average person
- 12:20Speaker 1: doesn't think they're racist. They don't think they have white privilege.
- 12:23Speaker 1: The elite may think that, but not the average person
- 12:26Speaker 1: where I live in Maine, right, but they need their
- 12:31Speaker 1: leaders to confirm it.
- 12:33Speaker 2: But I've seen people when they're called racist, strong politicians,
- 12:37Speaker 2: strong men, generally they cower. They oh, they called. They
- 12:41Speaker 2: are so afraid of being called racist that they'll do
- 12:45Speaker 2: anything for the other side. And I think that's a
- 12:46Speaker 2: little bit processing. But what I say is a little
- 12:49Speaker 2: bit different, and maybe a little bit earlier in the process.
- 12:54Speaker 2: We have enemies outside, but we also have the enemy
- 12:57Speaker 2: from within. And I say, and I've said it for
- 13:00Speaker 2: a long time. You know, I took hundreds of billions
- 13:03Speaker 2: out of China and we get along. We got along fine.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Other than COVID, where right, that was a bridge too
- 13:07Speaker 2: far as far as I was concerned. But I took
- 13:10Speaker 2: hundreds of billions of dollars from China, We got along grade.
- 13:14Speaker 2: I made a trade deal with China. I don't even
- 13:16Speaker 2: talk about it. It was one of the greatest deals
- 13:17Speaker 2: ever made economically, fifty billion dollars a year in purchasing
- 13:22Speaker 2: of our product. Nobody talks about it. And that's okay,
- 13:24Speaker 2: because once COVID came, I don't talk about anything having
- 13:27Speaker 2: to do was it was really a bridge to for
- 13:29Speaker 2: But we have the outside enemy and we have the
- 13:31Speaker 2: enemy from within. And I say that the enemy from
- 13:35Speaker 2: within is far more dangerous than the outside enemy, because
- 13:39Speaker 2: if you have a capable president. I'll always be able
- 13:41Speaker 2: to get along with Russia China.
- 13:42Speaker 1: See what with Kimmy when I think you even ought
- 13:45Speaker 1: to say more than you do. So it's the let
- 13:48Speaker 1: me ask this question. I keep I'm very interruptions.
- 13:51Speaker 2: No, no, you are, and I love that because a
- 13:53Speaker 2: lot of people aren't. And you go off and you
- 13:55Speaker 2: don't let anybody go off on a tangent, and I
- 13:58Speaker 2: will not. Will you go off?
- 14:00Speaker 1: You go you know you're tough.
- 14:02Speaker 2: You go ahead.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Now you're distracted. What was I talking about.
- 14:07Speaker 2: The enemy from within?
- 14:09Speaker 1: We need a name for the enemy. Now I've taken
- 14:12Speaker 1: it to call it Kamalism. We don't even have a
- 14:16Speaker 1: name for enemy regime. We know who China is. Can
- 14:20Speaker 1: you imagine fighting a war if you can't name the enemy?
- 14:24Speaker 1: And you're the one. You are our Namer in chief, right,
- 14:29Speaker 1: you're the great Namer.
- 14:30Speaker 2: I've given a lot of great names, I think.
- 14:32Speaker 1: So okay, but now you need one.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Right. I'm not totally satisfied with comrade because a lot
- 14:39Speaker 2: of people don't quite understand what it means. She is
- 14:42Speaker 2: a Marxist, she's a communist, she's a fascist, and she's
- 14:47Speaker 2: not very smart. And these are bad things. And by
- 14:50Speaker 2: the way, if she ever won, my life won't be
- 14:54Speaker 2: so great in this country. But I don't care. I
- 14:57Speaker 2: don't care. We have to explain now, we have to
- 15:00Speaker 2: playing who this woman is. This woman is a disaster.
- 15:03Speaker 1: But you God will explain that this woman is part
- 15:07Speaker 1: of a movement. Right, it's not Nazism, bad move it's
- 15:12Speaker 1: not communism exactly, no, right, but you have to name X.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Actually stupid ism if you think, because when you think
- 15:20Speaker 2: about it, maybe that's what they're doing is so stupid.
- 15:24Speaker 2: The open board. Who wants an open border where tens
- 15:28Speaker 2: of millions of people have come in here from others.
- 15:33Speaker 2: I've usually put some moniker on on opponents if I can.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Like Pocahontas is a good name, because she said she
- 15:39Speaker 2: was an Indian and she wasn't. So I apologize to
- 15:42Speaker 2: the real Pocahontas. They demanded I apologize to Pocahontas. So
- 15:46Speaker 2: I did to the real pocont But but there are
- 15:50Speaker 2: great names and a lot of I can't mention because
- 15:52Speaker 2: they're Republicans. Who I did during my little trials and
- 15:57Speaker 2: tribulations in the primaries.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Well, my only advice is get with the name for
- 16:01Speaker 1: the purpose.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Well, do you like comrade.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not bad, it's it and it's accurate.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Okay, it's pretty accurate. I think it's pretty acurate.
- 16:09Speaker 1: And so if she's comrade, then the movement of which
- 16:12Speaker 1: she is nominally the head of is commalism or communist.
- 16:19Speaker 2: But truth, well, comrade means you know, it means she's
- 16:22Speaker 2: into that whole sect.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Right, But comrade just refers to her. And I think
- 16:27Speaker 1: it's important to point out that she's the head, at
- 16:31Speaker 1: least nominally the head of a movement.
- 16:34Speaker 2: But I don't think she used the head. That's well,
- 16:36Speaker 2: I don't think she's the head. There are other people
- 16:38Speaker 2: behind her telling her what to do. I ain't greet
- 16:40Speaker 2: now because I look, she shouldn't be allowed to run.
- 16:44Speaker 2: She got no votes. This was a coup. This was
- 16:47Speaker 2: just like a nice hard South American coup. But there
- 16:52Speaker 2: was no breed here.
- 16:53Speaker 1: You know, here's the real coup that nobody talks about.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Your administration was overthrown. Nothing to do with vote fraud.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Leave that aside, all the character assassinations, the bogus investigations,
- 17:08Speaker 1: lies frauds, impeachment. That constitutes a coup right in front
- 17:15Speaker 1: of our face, and I think people you and Republicans
- 17:21Speaker 1: ought to say that. And when they say to you, gee,
- 17:24Speaker 1: we worry about Trump because he's going to affect the coup,
- 17:27Speaker 1: the response is, yeah, but you guys already affected the coup, right,
- 17:32Speaker 1: it was a coup.
- 17:33Speaker 2: You know it better than anybody. And it's very interesting
- 17:36Speaker 2: because your writings and I read your things and I
- 17:41Speaker 2: don't know that much about you. As soon as I
- 17:43Speaker 2: read your first statement about me, I said, this guy's
- 17:46Speaker 2: got it figured. So people don't understand what they did
- 17:50Speaker 2: and the problem we have. We have a lot of
- 17:53Speaker 2: weak people in the Republican party. They're not willing to
- 17:57Speaker 2: play the game with the same level of city that
- 18:01Speaker 2: the Democrats play the game. Adam Shifty Shift is a
- 18:04Speaker 2: truly bad guy. He's a crooked guy. The Russians see.
- 18:08Speaker 1: That's how we have to understand. We're in a war,
- 18:12Speaker 1: and in a war, you play by different rules and
- 18:15Speaker 1: you don't compromise because there's no basis for compromise. And
- 18:20Speaker 1: let me get back to debate. Republicans criticized you, some.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Of them and some love me, right, but they still do.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Republicans shouldn't be criticized. You're our man.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Well, we can't help. But Mitt Romney is Mitt Romney
- 18:33Speaker 2: is a bad guy.
- 18:34Speaker 1: But all I'm still with is when you're in a war,
- 18:37Speaker 1: right you defend your commander in chief.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Right. Well, I'm always saying that the Republicans don't stick
- 18:44Speaker 2: together like they Now I'll tell you what. On impeachment hoaxes,
- 18:47Speaker 2: they stuck together. They were great to me. I actually
- 18:50Speaker 2: had a unanimous in the House, which is unheard of,
- 18:52Speaker 2: and outside of Romney, who actually only voted half half
- 18:55Speaker 2: a vote, if you can believe it, but I had
- 18:57Speaker 2: unanimous in the Senate. They together for that. That was
- 19:01Speaker 2: a very important thing because it was a hoax. They're
- 19:03Speaker 2: all hoaxes. Everything's a hoax. Russia Russia, Russia was a hoax.
- 19:07Speaker 2: They do that. And what they do is they distract
- 19:09Speaker 2: you from doing things to our country that are great,
- 19:13Speaker 2: as they say, make America great again because you're fighting.
- 19:16Speaker 2: But the Republicans treat and I'm not talking about for me.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Just if you look over the last fifty years, the
- 19:25Speaker 2: Republicans don't stick the way the Democrats do. The Democrats
- 19:29Speaker 2: are willing to go for really horrible policy. I think
- 19:33Speaker 2: generally speaking, their policy is horrible. Nancy Pelosi is a
- 19:38Speaker 2: horrible human being. I know her very well. She's a sick,
- 19:43Speaker 2: horrible person. But she gets people to stick together, you know.
- 19:47Speaker 2: She gets them to stick together for bad things. These
- 19:49Speaker 2: are bad people. What they do to our country. These
- 19:52Speaker 2: are very bad people, and I can name a lot
- 19:54Speaker 2: of them. On the other side, the Republicans have to
- 19:57Speaker 2: get tougher. For instance, they cheat, like helen elections. We
- 20:01Speaker 2: have a thing called the Save Act. It's not the
- 20:02Speaker 2: end all, but it makes it a little bit tougher.
- 20:05Speaker 2: They just approved something where the Save Act comes up
- 20:08Speaker 2: after the election. I said, wait a minute, you've just
- 20:12Speaker 2: read about it yesterday. They approved and they extended. They
- 20:16Speaker 2: did a continuing resolution, of course, because they always do.
- 20:19Speaker 2: They just go on and on, And we have a
- 20:22Speaker 2: thing attached to the continuing resolution called the Save Act.
- 20:26Speaker 2: It has to do with elections which are taking place
- 20:28Speaker 2: right now. They approve and do the continuing resolution where
- 20:34Speaker 2: the Save Act is going to be approved probably but
- 20:38Speaker 2: sometime after the election. What the hell good does that
- 20:41Speaker 2: do us? So it's so disappointing. They don't fight like
- 20:46Speaker 2: they should fight. Their policies. Actually, the Republican policies are good.
- 20:50Speaker 2: You're a very smart man. I know for a fact
- 20:53Speaker 2: that you're a very rich man. Why the hell do
- 20:55Speaker 2: you do this?
- 20:59Speaker 1: Probably for the same reason the reason I do it,
- 21:03Speaker 1: you know, I think this is very important. I think
- 21:06Speaker 1: I have something to offer, right like you. I don't
- 21:09Speaker 1: have quite what you have to offer, but I have
- 21:12Speaker 1: a particular constellation of skills, and I have resources, and
- 21:17Speaker 1: I have something of a platform, so I can contribute,
- 21:21Speaker 1: and this is my opportunity.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Are you a golfer?
- 21:25Speaker 1: I am?
- 21:26Speaker 2: You play well?
- 21:28Speaker 1: Not as well as you do well.
- 21:30Speaker 2: Will you play golf with me at the appropriate time?
- 21:33Speaker 1: Well, that's very nice if you, But I think i'll.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Pass because you don't want to be shut at. I
- 21:39Speaker 2: think I'll lose a lot of golf games, you know.
- 21:41Speaker 2: To be honest with you, I'm noticing people, well, you know,
- 21:44Speaker 2: people that love playing golf with me. They're saying, gee,
- 21:47Speaker 2: I don't love to but I'm not feeling so well today. Now.
- 21:50Speaker 2: I always said golf is a very dangerous game, and
- 21:53Speaker 2: I've proven of that.
- 21:54Speaker 1: Right, yes you have. Well, I hope your security is
- 21:57Speaker 1: top notch.
- 21:58Speaker 2: I think it is, and I tell you, I think
- 22:00Speaker 2: they did a great job on the second situation where
- 22:02Speaker 2: I really do to have somebody pick up the barrel
- 22:06Speaker 2: of a gun. It was pretty good. You know, somebody
- 22:08Speaker 2: else is walking down the fairway looking at the weather. Okay,
- 22:11Speaker 2: isn't it a beautiful day? And this guy took out
- 22:14Speaker 2: his gun and he started shooting. And that guy ran
- 22:17Speaker 2: and then he was caught. But it's very heavy. Well
- 22:21Speaker 2: you're going to see that today because you're coming with
- 22:23Speaker 2: me to North Carolina. You're going to see more machine
- 22:25Speaker 2: guns on the tops of the buildings than you've ever
- 22:27Speaker 2: seen before. Yeah, I'm very I'm very happy with it.
- 22:32Speaker 1: Good, thank you, thank you very much.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Appreciate that's a different kind of an interview. But this guy,
- 22:37Speaker 2: I'm not going to argue with this guy because he's
- 22:39Speaker 2: one smart cookie. Good, let's go have some fun.
