  Speaker 2: brothers from the greatest fraternity, Omega Side Fire Fraternity Incorporated.

  Speaker 2: We celebrate, and I'm sure the noops feel that way

  Speaker 2: about theirs. The Alphas feel that way about theirs, the

  Speaker 2: Sigmas feel that way about theirs, the olders feel that
• 0:43
  Speaker 2: way about theirs. I'm sure they do. But it's it's
• 0:51
  Speaker 2: special when you're a part of some organizations. I know
• 0:55
  Speaker 2: there's a lot of people out here now. I hear
• 0:57
  Speaker 2: people denouncing the Divine Nine and denouncing their fraternity. I

  Speaker 2: never experienced that. I don't even know what they're talking about.

  Speaker 2: I never I never took a vow or a ritual

  Speaker 2: to an idle god. I never bowed before anybody but

  Speaker 2: my Lord and Savior. I've never There's nothing in our

  Speaker 2: writings that ask us to pledge allegiance to a idol

  Speaker 2: with a group of men that we have remained friends

  Speaker 2: since the seventies. We all met in the seventies. Most

  Speaker 2: of us met in the same year of seventy four.

  Speaker 2: It's some that was there before, but most of us

  Speaker 2: met in seventy four. So this is like fifty two

  Speaker 2: years of friendship and we all cuse and we gather together. Man,

  Speaker 2: And for me it's quite special because these are the

  Speaker 2: only people from who knew me before I was any
• 2:50
  Speaker 2: of this. These are the only people I can sit
• 2:54
  Speaker 2: around and be naturally and completely who I am. And

  Speaker 2: I'm so great to God for that gift. I don't

  Speaker 2: have to pretend. I don't have to fake, I don't

  Speaker 2: have to front. I don't have to sit here and
• 3:08
  Speaker 2: talk a certain way or be mindful of what's coming

  Speaker 2: out of my mouth. No, man, I can sit there
• 3:14
  Speaker 2: and just be my natural black self in all of it.

  Speaker 2: And it's my new Christmas. You know, Christmas used to
• 3:22
  Speaker 2: be my favorite holiday, but now it's for my grandkids.

  Speaker 2: You know. Christmas is for them, watching them, you know,
• 3:30
  Speaker 2: sit around that tree opening gifts and stuff. And I
• 3:33
  Speaker 2: sit there, man, smile and watch them do all of
• 3:36
  Speaker 2: this stuff. It's just a great thing, you know. But
• 3:39
  Speaker 2: this once a year, two week event that I throw
• 3:44
  Speaker 2: at my ranch, it's special, man, And it reminds me
• 3:48
  Speaker 2: of a bond of friendship that is so essential. You know,
• 3:57
  Speaker 2: there's this great organization. When you break down what the
• 4:02
  Speaker 2: interpretation of their letters mean, it means friendship is essential
• 4:07
  Speaker 2: to the soul. And I'm gonna tell you something I've learned.
• 4:10
  Speaker 2: It is essential. You gotta have a friend. You can
• 4:13
  Speaker 2: live in this world without your mother. I've done it.
• 4:17
  Speaker 2: You can live in this world without your father, I've
• 4:20
  Speaker 2: done it. You can live in this world when your
• 4:24
  Speaker 2: big brother passes on. I'm doing that too. You can
• 4:29
  Speaker 2: live in this world with a lot of stuff. But
• 4:32
  Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell you something you cannot live without. You
• 4:34
  Speaker 2: cannot live in this world without a friend. You have
• 4:38
  Speaker 2: to have a friend, man. You gotta get somebody on
• 4:42
  Speaker 2: planet Earth that you can tell it to, somebody that'll
• 4:46
  Speaker 2: stand with you. I don't care what you done got
• 4:47
  Speaker 2: yourself in. I don't care what your circumstances. I don't
• 4:51
  Speaker 2: care what the deal reveals. Somebody who will stand with
• 4:54
  Speaker 2: you in the clutch and say, hey, man, I'm with
• 4:56
  Speaker 2: you and nonjudgmental man. But you do that for it, Bruh.

  Speaker 2: I'm just telling you I did it, and why I
• 5:04
  Speaker 2: did it. I made a mistake. I just need somebody there.

  Speaker 2: And when you have a friend, you have something special.

  Speaker 2: And I have some friends, a large group of them.

  Speaker 2: And we've been friends in this special thing for fifty

  Speaker 2: two years. Fifty two years of friendship, man, and we

  Speaker 2: still gather, we still laugh now. During the year, they
• 5:29
  Speaker 2: see each other oftentimes in Cleveland because a lot of
• 5:31
  Speaker 2: us from Ohio, a lot of they get together for
• 5:34
  Speaker 2: barbecues and stuff like different gatherings they have up their
• 5:38
  Speaker 2: district meetings. I only get to see them once a year,
• 5:42
  Speaker 2: and it's the best time of the year for me.
• 5:45
  Speaker 2: So let me tell you something, Man, if you have
• 5:46
  Speaker 2: friends somewhere, celebrate your friendships. Celebrate them because they're rare,
• 5:53
  Speaker 2: and the older you get, the more rare they become
• 5:56
  Speaker 2: because you learn the true definition of friendship. They're not associates,
• 6:06
  Speaker 2: they're friends. And so if you have that, man celebrated,
• 6:10
  Speaker 2: enjoy your time with your friends if you can. I
• 6:13
  Speaker 2: want to send a shout out to the queues all
