- 0:01Speaker 1: It's Radio from Hell with another list because people love
- 0:05Speaker 1: a good list. Act ninety six.
- 0:08Speaker 2: All right, this is a this is a list. What
- 0:11Speaker 2: is a celebrity that everyone loves but you think is insufferable?
- 0:15Speaker 3: And why? Oh okay? There were a ton of replies.
- 0:19Speaker 2: We all have celebrities that we inexplicably can't stand, but
- 0:23Speaker 2: these I don't know what.
- 0:24Speaker 4: Carrie has against Conway Twitty. I'm not sure what.
- 0:27Speaker 3: He knows what he did. So this is this is
- 0:32Speaker 3: a list from from Reddit.
- 0:33Speaker 2: People responding Who's a celebrity that everybody loves but I
- 0:38Speaker 2: just can't stand?
- 0:39Speaker 3: And they all give their own reasons.
- 0:41Speaker 2: See it's like nick Nicole in the chat room, says
- 0:43Speaker 2: Will Ferrell. I'm sure she has her reasons, But here's
- 0:48Speaker 2: number one on the list, Nicki Minaj. Well yeah, thankfully,
- 0:54Speaker 2: everyone's finally starting to get it. All this information came
- 0:58Speaker 2: out back in like twenty twenty one, and some how
- 1:00Speaker 2: it got swept under the rug. I never had good
- 1:02Speaker 2: feelings from her. Her husband was sentenced to four years
- 1:06Speaker 2: for an attempted rape back in ninety six. He and
- 1:09Speaker 2: as would be victim, we're both sixteen. He was lead
- 1:11Speaker 2: later sentenced to three years probation, her PSAs about COVID vaccinations.
- 1:19Speaker 3: Donald Trump and she likes Trump. Yeah, well then, yeah,
- 1:22Speaker 3: she was just in our news. Yeah, ar bonu.
- 1:25Speaker 4: Camp Are you eating that candy?
- 1:26Speaker 5: Now?
- 1:28Speaker 3: I'm eating the cracker number two? Ariana Grande?
- 1:32Speaker 4: Oh why don't they like her?
- 1:33Speaker 6: Not?
- 1:33Speaker 3: Everyone loves her, but she's really popular.
- 1:35Speaker 2: I too, used to be a fan of hers, but
- 1:38Speaker 2: then too many stories about her real personality came out.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Then there was the donut video. I don't know what that.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Then it was a constant race fishing and being a
- 1:49Speaker 2: person who allegedly broke up a marriage.
- 1:53Speaker 4: Well, yeah, her boyfriend now was married?
- 1:55Speaker 3: Yeah, Oprah, Well I agree with that.
- 2:00Speaker 4: Why do you hate Oprah?
- 2:01Speaker 3: I don't hate Oprah. I've just never cared for Oprah.
- 2:04Speaker 3: You've never cared for her. No, Oprah was basically the
- 2:06Speaker 3: o G.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Jerry Springer pioneered the genre of shock, garbage emotional manipulation television.
- 2:12Speaker 2: And now she's interviewing Prince Harry like she's Barbara Walters
- 2:16Speaker 2: or something.
- 2:16Speaker 3: I don't get it.
- 2:17Speaker 4: She does act like she's the new Brook.
- 2:19Speaker 6: I can give you two really good reasons to not
- 2:21Speaker 6: like Oprah.
- 2:22Speaker 3: Okay, doctor Phil and doctor Oz exactly. Number four obviously
- 2:30Speaker 3: Drake Yeah, creepy.
- 2:33Speaker 6: Seems to be. I don't know that much about him,
- 2:36Speaker 6: but he seems to be kind of a creeper.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Yep.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Number five. Kevin Hart, I don't know. I can't stand
- 2:43Speaker 2: Kevin Hard. He's not funny and his stand up shows
- 2:45Speaker 2: are forced laughter in a nutshell.
- 2:48Speaker 3: I made the mistake of buying his autobiography.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Hear him describing how he would beat up his beat
- 2:53Speaker 2: up his ex and then try to make it funny
- 2:56Speaker 2: made me feel sick.
- 2:57Speaker 4: Geez, yeah that's enough for me. I didn't know that.
- 2:59Speaker 3: Yeah. Tom Cruise, yeah much, I'm off about it.
- 3:05Speaker 4: I enjoy his movies, but he is he's weird.
- 3:10Speaker 2: It's it's basically it's scientology. That's what they're saying, is
- 3:13Speaker 2: why justin Timberlake. What if Tom Cruise is actually a
- 3:18Speaker 2: clowwork person? Oh what you know, he's he's mechanical. Oh,
- 3:24Speaker 2: always been, justin Timberlake. Finally that tide has turned. I
- 3:28Speaker 2: feel so seen after all these years. He's always been
- 3:31Speaker 2: the worst, letting Janet take the fall for that Super
- 3:35Speaker 2: Bowl show and have it ruined her career well, and
- 3:38Speaker 2: he was very unkind unkind of Brittany as well. Here's
- 3:42Speaker 2: one Gwyneth Paltrow. She can goop right out of here.
- 3:48Speaker 2: I never understood the goop hate. For the longest time,
- 3:51Speaker 2: I just shrugged it off.
- 3:52Speaker 5: There's yeah, there's a bunch of really expensive stuff that
- 3:55Speaker 5: doesn't work.
- 3:56Speaker 3: But then I discovered she was selling snake oil. She's
- 3:58Speaker 3: a terrible person. Yeah.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Now here's one that I discovered on my own, like
- 4:03Speaker 2: six years ago.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Bill Maher. I always thought he was creepy. Yeah.
- 4:09Speaker 2: I used to enjoy watching Bill Maher. Now his shows
- 4:11Speaker 2: follow the same handful of talking points. Young people are
- 4:14Speaker 2: incredibly stupid and shouldn't have opinions. Wokeness is a disease.
- 4:18Speaker 2: And I'm the smartest person in the room. And I
- 4:21Speaker 2: always get the feeling that he doesn't write anything. He says,
- 4:24Speaker 2: Oh he doesn't. It's all written for He's got a
- 4:27Speaker 2: ton of writers. Yeah, and one of them, yeah he's.
- 4:32Speaker 3: And his stand up is not good. No, his stand
- 4:34Speaker 3: up is not good. Number ten, mister beast. Yeah, I
- 4:39Speaker 3: don't know enough about it.
- 4:40Speaker 5: I mean, he supposedly does a lot of good charity stuff,
- 4:44Speaker 5: but I don't know what people say bad about him.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Yes, see built Susan reminded me that we used to
- 4:51Speaker 2: fight about Bill Maher because I used to support him,
- 4:53Speaker 2: but then I finally saw him. Oh, Gina, Oh number eleven,
- 4:58Speaker 2: Julia Roberts.
- 5:00Speaker 6: What I've never I've always thought there was something weird
- 5:03Speaker 6: about There's nothing.
- 5:04Speaker 4: She's perfect.
- 5:05Speaker 3: Let's see.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Uh, imagine having an alleged affair and pressing the other
- 5:09Speaker 2: partner for a divorce without any respect toward the time
- 5:11Speaker 2: they would need to let go and accept the divorce.
- 5:14Speaker 4: Yeah, Danny was married when they got together.
- 5:18Speaker 6: I think I think her that she's a strange from
- 5:21Speaker 6: her brother, Eric, and I think Eric's probably a pretty
- 5:24Speaker 6: good guy.
- 5:25Speaker 3: That's why.
- 5:25Speaker 4: That's not what I've heard.
- 5:28Speaker 3: And here's one that I discovered.
- 5:29Speaker 2: I used to like him until I started watching his
- 5:31Speaker 2: show that he hosted, Jerry Seinfeld.
- 5:35Speaker 4: Ohay, he is. He's gotten problematic as the years gone on.
- 5:40Speaker 3: That and he's just he's such a curmudgeon.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not even fun curmudgeon, like you know, like
- 5:48Speaker 2: curb your enthusiasm.
- 5:49Speaker 3: It's it's unfun curmudgeon.
- 5:51Speaker 4: And his teeth have gotten too bigudgeon.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Let's say.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Oh, and plus he dated a teenager when he was
- 5:57Speaker 2: in his late thirties.
- 5:59Speaker 4: Shoshanna Lowe.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Let's see number thirteen. Fred Armison, m you, I like him.
- 6:10Speaker 2: I used to not like him, but I like him now.
- 6:12Speaker 3: This says here he just deeply skews me out for
- 6:15Speaker 3: some reason. He seems a little odd.
- 6:17Speaker 2: But you know, Elizabeth Moths, his ex wife, said, one
- 6:21Speaker 2: of the great things I heard someone say about him
- 6:24Speaker 2: is he's so great at doing impersonations. But the greatest
- 6:28Speaker 2: impersonation he does is that of a normal person. Okay,
- 6:33Speaker 2: now here's one that I I was on this one
- 6:36Speaker 2: for a long long time, and people always hated me
- 6:39Speaker 2: for it.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Bill Murray. I enjoy watching him perform.
- 6:45Speaker 4: He's been problematic with women.
- 6:47Speaker 2: But yeah, when I when I see him interviewed or
- 6:50Speaker 2: anything like that, he's he's a creep.
- 6:55Speaker 3: He's because he's he thinks he's entitled to Hi. Yeah,
- 6:58Speaker 3: and he's mean. He's means well anyway.
- 7:03Speaker 6: Leonardo DiCaprio, You know he dates younger women, but I
- 7:10Speaker 6: don't know that.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Yeah, he talks about climate change, but then rents mega
- 7:13Speaker 2: yachts and travels by private jets. He's turning into an
- 7:17Speaker 2: old creep who only dates young women, and he usually
- 7:20Speaker 2: dumbs them before they're twenty five. That's the running that's
- 7:23Speaker 2: the running gag is that when they turn twenty five,
- 7:25Speaker 2: he dumbs them.
- 7:27Speaker 6: You had that list of celebrities that people can and
- 7:32Speaker 6: there's a few more names on there, right.
- 7:34Speaker 3: Yeah, there's a few more.
- 7:36Speaker 2: And what it is is these are celebrities that are popular,
- 7:40Speaker 2: but this this group of people does not like them
- 7:43Speaker 2: for specific reasons. So that's why you're mel Gibson is
- 7:47Speaker 2: not on this list because no likes.
- 7:49Speaker 6: Nobody likes. So before you get we'll finished that up.
- 7:52Speaker 6: I just have this question though before. It's not really related,
- 7:56Speaker 6: but you know, I like to read obituaries and you'll
- 8:00Speaker 6: usually find something some interesting things in them. But I
- 8:03Speaker 6: was reading an obituary the other day and I wondered
- 8:06Speaker 6: about this. When somebody dies at the age of eighty,
- 8:11Speaker 6: let's say, eighty plus or eighty years or older, is
- 8:16Speaker 6: it really necessary to state in the obituary he was
- 8:21Speaker 6: preceded in death by his parents.
- 8:25Speaker 4: Really, they died first.
- 8:28Speaker 3: He was preceded in death by his parents.
- 8:33Speaker 4: Now my guess is they went on to list other people.
- 8:36Speaker 6: Yeah they did, but but I just think it would
- 8:39Speaker 6: go without saying that.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Yeah, so just bothered me. So I've been meaning to
- 8:45Speaker 3: bring that up, and that's all. That's all I had.
- 8:47Speaker 6: Okay, So not related, as I said, not related.
- 8:53Speaker 3: To the list.
- 8:54Speaker 1: It's Radio from Hell with another list because people love
- 8:58Speaker 1: a good list.
- 9:01Speaker 3: All right. So again, these are celebrities that are popular.
- 9:05Speaker 3: People love them.
- 9:06Speaker 2: But this group of people is giving good reasons why
- 9:10Speaker 2: they're not good people.
- 9:11Speaker 4: Okay.
- 9:13Speaker 3: Number fifteen Jim Carrey, he can be problematic, says.
- 9:20Speaker 2: I know I'll get hate for this, but Jim Carrey,
- 9:22Speaker 2: I find the guy totally obnoxious. He seems like he's
- 9:25Speaker 2: got one stick and that's all he knows. I used
- 9:27Speaker 2: to love him. He was great in the nineties, but
- 9:29Speaker 2: in the last few years he's an insufferable dickhead. He
- 9:33Speaker 2: was unfairly rude as hell toward Margot Robbie on The
- 9:36Speaker 2: Graham Morton Show and made several implications that she only
- 9:40Speaker 2: got famous for her looks. You can see how uncomfortable
- 9:45Speaker 2: she is throughout the interview. Throughout that it was very
- 9:48Speaker 2: mean girl type stuff.
- 9:50Speaker 6: Well, if that's what he did, then then he is
- 9:53Speaker 6: in fact the dick.
- 9:54Speaker 2: He was also not good to his ex who died. Also,
- 9:58Speaker 2: he's an anti vaxer.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Well, he and what's your name?
- 10:02Speaker 6: The former playboy Jenny mcar They were together for a
- 10:09Speaker 6: long time or dating, and she's very anti vaxin. She's
- 10:13Speaker 6: sure that that vaccines caused her son to have autism.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Uh, this, this one's going to be a tough one.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Very beloved Paul Walker, so from from the Fast. He
- 10:26Speaker 2: reportedly dated a sixteen year old while he was in
- 10:29Speaker 2: his thirties. Well, Johnny Depp, well kinds of tough.
- 10:36Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Oh used to be a fan, let's see, but the
- 10:39Speaker 2: last decade he's lost to shine for me. The Amber
- 10:42Speaker 2: Heard trial was a disgusting moment in our culture. And
- 10:45Speaker 2: see people line up outside the courthouse to show their
- 10:47Speaker 2: love for Depth was cringey. Depth being a here it
- 10:51Speaker 2: just goes on.
- 10:52Speaker 6: Well, it's like, I would they line up and show
- 10:54Speaker 6: their support for Michael Jackson.
- 10:57Speaker 2: People really tried to ignore the allegations that his other
- 11:00Speaker 2: have made about him. Ellen Barkin throwing a wine bottle.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Jennifer Gray called him crazy, jealous and paranoid and has
- 11:08Speaker 2: talked about him going out to seek out fights.
- 11:12Speaker 4: I could see that. Also, I think Amber Hurd is
- 11:14Speaker 4: pretty not so.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Also, he did ten thousand dollars in damage to a
- 11:18Speaker 2: hotel room with Kate Moss in the room.
- 11:22Speaker 3: I actually I recall that.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Yeah, And finally Drew Barrymore. She was chilling my books
- 11:31Speaker 2: for a while, but the minute she crossed the picket
- 11:33Speaker 2: line during the WGA saga after strike, it was game.
- 11:36Speaker 3: Over for me.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Also, stop being so weirdly touchy with people. It comes
- 11:42Speaker 2: off as fake.
- 11:44Speaker 5: I don't think it's fake, but I still think it's
- 11:46Speaker 5: weirdly touchy. Like her guests sit next to her on
- 11:51Speaker 5: a couch and she like paws them.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like pawing them.
- 11:56Speaker 2: Yeah, so beloved celebrities that you think are actually bad people?
- 12:02Speaker 3: Are there any celebrities that are good people?
- 12:04Speaker 4: Sure?
- 12:05Speaker 3: Depends on who you are.
- 12:06Speaker 4: Dolly Parton always comes up.
- 12:09Speaker 2: You know, people are texting it and Jack Black is
- 12:11Speaker 2: somebody that that they can't stand. I don't get that one.
- 12:15Speaker 2: But Blake Lively, Yeah, somebody says people are starting to
- 12:21Speaker 2: think she may be.
- 12:24Speaker 3: A bitch. She's Utah's own Blake Live.
- 12:28Speaker 6: You know who I who I really like, And I
- 12:31Speaker 6: would be surprised if there are many bad things said
- 12:33Speaker 6: about John Lithgow.
- 12:36Speaker 4: I would think that I can't imagine what you would
- 12:38Speaker 4: say bad about John.
- 12:39Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly.
- 12:40Speaker 6: I bet he's see to me, he's It would make
- 12:44Speaker 6: surprise me if he and Jeff Bridges too, I mean.
- 12:47Speaker 4: Really yeah, I don't think anybody hates Jeff.
- 12:49Speaker 6: I think Jeff Jeff Bridges is what you see. Tom
- 12:53Speaker 6: Hanks probably, he is a very nice guy. I listened
- 12:59Speaker 6: to this whole podcast about it. A guy who was
- 13:03Speaker 6: a minor actor and he was he auditioned for Band
- 13:08Speaker 6: of Brothers or something like that and thought he had
- 13:10Speaker 6: the part and then was just rejected. He auditioned in
- 13:13Speaker 6: front of Tom and he was just obsessing about it.
- 13:16Speaker 6: He did a whole series of like a twenty episode
- 13:18Speaker 6: podcast here I forget what it was called. Was very
- 13:21Speaker 6: it was really interesting and finally at the end of it,
- 13:27Speaker 6: he actually got Tom Hanks to come on to the
- 13:29Speaker 6: podcast and talk to him and, you know, say, well,
- 13:32Speaker 6: I don't really remember your you know, audition, tell me
- 13:36Speaker 6: about it and all of that and what and I mean,
- 13:38Speaker 6: it was just very fascinating, and Tom Hanks came across
- 13:41Speaker 6: as just a great guy.
- 13:43Speaker 5: M h.
- 13:44Speaker 4: I think Tom Holland too.
- 13:45Speaker 6: Tom Holland, well, most actors named Tom, I think I
- 13:50Speaker 6: think most actors named Tom.
- 13:51Speaker 3: I told you my Tom Holland's story, didn't I what?
- 13:54Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 13:55Speaker 2: When he was over here at fan Ax, I was
- 13:58Speaker 2: scheduled to be the modern the interviewer at his celebrity panel,
- 14:03Speaker 2: and it was at ten in the morning. And so
- 14:06Speaker 2: we get there and he's kind of subdued, you know,
- 14:11Speaker 2: very you know, no no energy at all for the
- 14:15Speaker 2: entire thing. And so I kept trying to meet his energy,
- 14:18Speaker 2: you know, and I was like, did.
- 14:20Speaker 3: I screw that up? Did I screw that interview up?
- 14:23Speaker 3: I found out a few months later.
- 14:26Speaker 2: No, he had been out partying all night and he
- 14:30Speaker 2: was extremely hung over me, but.
- 14:32Speaker 4: He showed up.
- 14:33Speaker 3: He showed up.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Yes, but apparently that was one of the incidentss that
- 14:36Speaker 2: made him realize he needs to stop drinking.
- 14:39Speaker 4: Yeah, and he's sober now.
- 14:41Speaker 3: And he's sober now. Let's see Jeff Goldblum.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Oh yeah, and yeah, Nicholas Cage says, is the Texter,
- 14:55Speaker 2: is the one that I don't like myself. Here's the
- 14:57Speaker 2: thing about Nicholas Cage. We were we were down in
- 15:01Speaker 2: southern California, were at a sushi restaurant and he was
- 15:04Speaker 2: there and my my sister in law took my niece
- 15:09Speaker 2: over to get a picture, and I was kind of like,
- 15:12Speaker 2: oh God, don't.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Do that and don't do that.
- 15:15Speaker 2: But he was so nice and was more than happy
- 15:20Speaker 2: to take the picture of Nicholas Cage.
- 15:23Speaker 6: I I think I think Nicholas Cage is just just
- 15:25Speaker 6: loves being an actor.
- 15:27Speaker 3: Yeah, he just loves me. He loves being Nicholas Cage.
- 15:30Speaker 2: I would just say this to Nicholas Cage. Stop dyeing
- 15:33Speaker 2: the hair and facial hair. Let it go, Let it go.
- 15:36Speaker 3: It's okay, let it be.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Natural, you know it just that that jet blacky.
- 15:43Speaker 3: Yeah, like Jeene Simmons jet black shoe polish nick nick
- 15:46Speaker 3: I did it. I let it go and it works.
- 15:49Speaker 3: Let it go, it works, all right?
- 15:51Speaker 4: Was that the list We've hoped you'd enjoyed?
- 15:54Speaker 1: Another list with Radio from Hell on X ninety six
