- 0:00Speaker 1: Fly from Midtown Manhattan. Here comes the Mark Simone Show
- 0:05Speaker 1: on seven ten R. Well, hey, we'll get to Iran,
- 0:12Speaker 1: we'll get to Georgia, we'll get to President Trump. Of course,
- 0:16Speaker 1: we'll get to Crazy Mom, Donnie Legioneers, and a whole
- 0:20Speaker 1: lot more coming up. Now. It's been well, a weird summer.
- 0:26Speaker 1: I mean, here we were waiting for summer. It's been
- 0:29Speaker 1: nice that we love summer, but heat waves, tornadoes, floods,
- 0:34Speaker 1: it's been kind of strange. But right now, today through Sunday,
- 0:38Speaker 1: you're going to have absolutely perfect summer. Four days of
- 0:43Speaker 1: perfect weather, eighty degrees and sunny. It's already underway. So
- 0:47Speaker 1: enjoy this part of summer. Now. I hate to bring
- 0:51Speaker 1: this up again. Yesterday I told you I was in
- 0:53Speaker 1: a couple of stores. There's all the fall clothing of
- 0:57Speaker 1: I find out today the Giants go to training camp football.
- 1:03Speaker 1: The Giants heading the training camp today. So enjoy the
- 1:07Speaker 1: summer while you can. Now, last night was night twelve
- 1:12Speaker 1: of hitting Iran, very very very hard. Price of oil
- 1:17Speaker 1: is spiking again. Let me just check. It was up
- 1:21Speaker 1: to about one hundred dollars a barrel, which is you're
- 1:24Speaker 1: getting into Joe Biden territory there. Oh, it backed off
- 1:28Speaker 1: a little. Okay, it's dropping, it's down to ninety one,
- 1:31Speaker 1: but that's still up from what it was yesterday. And
- 1:34Speaker 1: the reason it's spiking up is the Iranians, the hoodies,
- 1:38Speaker 1: whoever they're paying, is now hitting ships in the Red
- 1:41Speaker 1: Sea straight of horm Moose first, now the Red Sea.
- 1:45Speaker 1: So that's driven the price of oiler. But this will
- 1:47Speaker 1: all be gotten under control, and the President letting Iran
- 1:50Speaker 1: know every time they fire at a ship in the
- 1:53Speaker 1: straight of hor Moose, will take out infrastructure, We'll take
- 1:56Speaker 1: out a bridge, we'll take out a power plant, that
- 1:58Speaker 1: sort of stuff. And again night twelve of very heavy bombing.
- 2:02Speaker 1: They've got about a seven week plan laid out of
- 2:06Speaker 1: what they want to hit. There's a lot of stuff
- 2:07Speaker 1: to get. The main goal of all of this was
- 2:10Speaker 1: to make sure Iran doesn't have any nuclear anything, and
- 2:16Speaker 1: whatever's remaining seems to be at Pickaxe Mountain, buried under
- 2:21Speaker 1: there in Pickaxe Mountain, that seems to be the current
- 2:23Speaker 1: place where nuclear stuff is being hidden being worked one.
- 2:28Speaker 1: So the President said, we're going to hit Pickaxe Mountain.
- 2:31Speaker 1: It's the next big target.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Do you believe that Iran has moved nuclear centrifuges into
- 2:37Speaker 2: Pickaxe Mountain. And when you say we're not done yet,
- 2:40Speaker 2: what is allowed to finish? Well, I think that they
- 2:44Speaker 2: may have we don't have it on record.
- 2:45Speaker 1: We follow the material.
- 2:46Speaker 2: That's where the action is, and we'll be hitting that
- 2:50Speaker 2: area very probably pretty sid and there's not a thing
- 2:54Speaker 2: they can do about it.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Yeh. Normally I wouldn't say that.
- 2:57Speaker 2: If I thought they could do something about it, I
- 2:59Speaker 2: would never say that. But we'll be hitting that area
- 3:02Speaker 2: pretty soon and very heavily.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Yeah. Now when he says there's nothing going to do
- 3:08Speaker 1: about it, we have taken away all their military defense.
- 3:11Speaker 1: They've got no air Force, no navy. Most of their
- 3:13Speaker 1: military defense is completely gone. They still got a missile
- 3:16Speaker 1: or two they can fire off. But what's the delay?
- 3:20Speaker 1: Why not hit Pickaxe Mountain tonight? Well, it's not as
- 3:25Speaker 1: easy as it sounds. Now. The problem with this Pickaxe
- 3:27Speaker 1: Mountain nuclear stuff. We got pretty good intelligence in that area,
- 3:32Speaker 1: but it's three hundred and twenty eight feet underground. The
- 3:35Speaker 1: nuclear activity three hundred and twenty eight feet underground, that's
- 3:41Speaker 1: how deep it is. Now, how do we get to that? Well,
- 3:43Speaker 1: we got to use those thirty thousand pounds. Bunker buster
- 3:47Speaker 1: bombs just blow holes and just just barrel through and
- 3:53Speaker 1: create a big, big, deep hole. The problem is the
- 3:57Speaker 1: bumper buck the the these bunker busters that we have
- 4:02Speaker 1: are capable of going down two hundred feet before exploding,
- 4:07Speaker 1: so that would be one hundred and thirty feet too short.
- 4:09Speaker 1: They can only go down two hundred feet. The stuff
- 4:12Speaker 1: is about three hundred and thirty feet down there, so
- 4:15Speaker 1: what do you do well, they're working on that. Some
- 4:18Speaker 1: of the talk is a number of bunker busters you
- 4:23Speaker 1: just hit the whole mountain, so you blow it all
- 4:24Speaker 1: the way down to two hundred feet and then once
- 4:26Speaker 1: you've done that, then another round of bunker busters can
- 4:30Speaker 1: go another two hundred feet and that would take it out.
- 4:32Speaker 1: But that's a little tricky, very very tricky. So they're
- 4:36Speaker 1: working on all of that right now. Now. In the meantime,
- 4:40Speaker 1: the US can take out the bass entrances, bury the
- 4:44Speaker 1: entrances and exits and make sure they can't get in
- 4:47Speaker 1: or out. So that's one thing they're working on. President
- 4:50Speaker 1: went to Georgia yesterday now for about this is exactly
- 4:54Speaker 1: how the media works. Just go after Trump every day
- 4:59Speaker 1: for any anything. If he turns left, you go after him.
- 5:02Speaker 1: If he turns right, you go after me. So they
- 5:05Speaker 1: were going after him for two three days about these
- 5:07Speaker 1: soldiers killed in the Iranian conflict, and they're yelling and screaming.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Why hasn't he called the families. Why doesn't he talk
- 5:16Speaker 1: to the families. Why doesn't he meet with the families.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Why doesn't he call them? This was the attack. Well,
- 5:22Speaker 1: he flew down to Georgia yesterday spent the day with
- 5:24Speaker 1: the families, what they call the dignified transfer. Spent the
- 5:28Speaker 1: day with the families, talking to them, meeting with them,
- 5:31Speaker 1: taking pictures with him. So the press immediately saw it
- 5:35Speaker 1: all day to day on MSNBC. Why is he with
- 5:37Speaker 1: these families? Why is he exploiting these families? Why is
- 5:40Speaker 1: he using them for a photo op? Why is he
- 5:42Speaker 1: bothering these families their time of grief? But he was there.
- 5:46Speaker 1: It's the toughest thing at president can do meet with
- 5:50Speaker 1: the families of men and women killed in war.
- 5:53Speaker 2: All I'm going to say is we love you, We
- 5:55Speaker 2: love your child. And that's what they are to them.
- 5:58Speaker 2: They're their children.
- 6:00Speaker 1: There's no games, no nothing, that's their child.
- 6:04Speaker 2: And all you could do is throw out your heart.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Thank you. Yeah, it's a tough, tough Every president will
- 6:10Speaker 1: tell you the toughest part of the job. A lot
- 6:12Speaker 1: of times it's just a letter you send. But certain
- 6:16Speaker 1: presidents Trump, George W. Bush, they had this thing about
- 6:19Speaker 1: actually meeting with the families, and even if they couldn't
- 6:22Speaker 1: meet with them, calling them, talking to them, it was
- 6:25Speaker 1: very important to them. Crazy mom Donnie. A lot of
- 6:30Speaker 1: people pointing out, even with his own base, he's gonna
- 6:35Speaker 1: have a problem. He's going to become known as just
- 6:36Speaker 1: a TikTok mayor where everything looks great on TikTok but
- 6:43Speaker 1: not in reality. And it's a lot of promises that,
- 6:46Speaker 1: you know, things that never happened. Free buses, there's no
- 6:48Speaker 1: free buses. And open grocery stores, there's no grocery stores.
- 6:52Speaker 1: You'll never see one of these grocery stores. You'll never
- 6:54Speaker 1: live to see a grocery store. Everything he talks about
- 6:57Speaker 1: never happens. So the whole thing with Yahoo just adds
- 7:01Speaker 1: to that. It's, you know everything, Well, he must have
- 7:04Speaker 1: known he couldn't arrest Benjamin Netanyah, who, first of all,
- 7:07Speaker 1: a mayor has no power to arrest anybody. He would
- 7:11Speaker 1: have to beg the police commissioner to do it. Jessica Tish,
- 7:14Speaker 1: who's Jewish, is not going to arrest Benjamin Netanyaho. If
- 7:19Speaker 1: you watch Law and Order, that was half the episodes,
- 7:21Speaker 1: the mayor wanting somebody arrested, begging the police commissioner, and
- 7:26Speaker 1: it wouldn't happen even if even if she was willing
- 7:29Speaker 1: to do it. You can't arrest Benjamin Net Yahoo. He's
- 7:33Speaker 1: here coming here in September for the UN General Assembly.
- 7:37Speaker 1: The foreign leaders that come to that are under federal protection.
- 7:40Speaker 1: There's actual laws on the book protecting them, and it
- 7:44Speaker 1: would be illegal to arrest them. And remember federal law
- 7:49Speaker 1: always overrules local law. In fact, under the law, to
- 7:53Speaker 1: even threaten to arrest them is a crime, and you
- 7:57Speaker 1: can be convicted of that. Till you know, mom, Donnie
- 8:01Speaker 1: has already committed the crime. That's a crime. Trump could
- 8:04Speaker 1: have him arrested if he wanted to, but you know
- 8:07Speaker 1: he won't do that. But the whole thing is preposterous.
- 8:11Speaker 1: He knew this was impossible, I don't. I mean, if
- 8:13Speaker 1: he really was interested in arresting Benjamin not in Yahoo,
- 8:16Speaker 1: I'm sure he would have asked about it. So he
- 8:19Speaker 1: knows it can't happen. But he went out and made
- 8:20Speaker 1: a whole production out of it, a whole theatrical production
- 8:23Speaker 1: of Arresting Net in Yahoo. Then he had to go
- 8:26Speaker 1: on and announce it's not going to happen. He can't
- 8:28Speaker 1: do it. But it's just another one of those things. Again,
- 8:31Speaker 1: he's a TikTok mayor. You see all these great videos
- 8:34Speaker 1: on TikTok, but in real life he can't get anything done.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Nothing he promises happens. Hey, he also promised a billion
- 8:41Speaker 1: dollar community safety program that would replace the NYPD billion
- 8:46Speaker 1: dollar community safety program. Been in office six months now,
- 8:51Speaker 1: there's no program. But well there is a program, but
- 8:54Speaker 1: it only has two staffers. Two people are working on it.
- 8:59Speaker 1: That's about it. So again, the TikTok mayor gets nothing done.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Everything fizzles in real life. The free buses, and I'm
- 9:07Speaker 1: sure he knew this. He has no power to make
- 9:10Speaker 1: the buses free. The buses are totally controlled by the state,
- 9:14Speaker 1: by Kathy Hochel. It's the MTA that runs the buses.
- 9:18Speaker 1: They're the only ones that can make it free, and
- 9:20Speaker 1: they're not going to do that. The MTA. They're always
- 9:22Speaker 1: yelling at, screaming, they need more money. Hey, what about
- 9:25Speaker 1: those tax hikes on the rich? What about the property tax?
- 9:28Speaker 1: What about all the well that's mostly the state. Now
- 9:31Speaker 1: there is word that he's threatening, privately, threatening Kathy Hockel
- 9:35Speaker 1: that she better push to get this done if she
- 9:39Speaker 1: wants his support for reelection, and she feels she'll need
- 9:43Speaker 1: it because she's a a goofball, a disaster and she's
- 9:47Speaker 1: facing a real strong candidate. Bruce Blakeman be the perfect governor.
- 9:51Speaker 1: He is a perfect governor already Nassau county executive. That's
- 9:54Speaker 1: what you do, is a county executive, you're a governor.
- 9:57Speaker 1: And he's been brilliant at it, so he'd be the
- 9:59Speaker 1: perfect government governor. So she's got a tough time getting
- 10:03Speaker 1: re elected, and she thinks she's going to need the wackos,
- 10:06Speaker 1: the crazy, you know, socialist Democrats, and she's going to
- 10:09Speaker 1: need his endorsement. So he's got a lot of leverage
- 10:13Speaker 1: over her right now. Blakeman taking out a new ad.
- 10:15Speaker 1: I like this. Sometimes candidates do this. It's a reverse
- 10:18Speaker 1: ad where you pretend it's the other candidates ad. In
- 10:24Speaker 1: other words, you pretend it's a hocal ad and you
- 10:26Speaker 1: make her sound bad. Here it is.
- 10:28Speaker 3: We've raised tolls and fares over twenty times because the
- 10:31Speaker 3: best way to fix traffic is to ensure regular people
- 10:34Speaker 3: can't afford to drive or take the subway. And we
- 10:37Speaker 3: ended cash bail so that we would stop punishing people
- 10:39Speaker 3: who commit brutal crimes against our fellow New Yorkers like
- 10:42Speaker 3: this nice young man. Awesome crack this November. Don't let
- 10:46Speaker 3: Bruce Blakeman lower your taxes or make New York safe.
- 10:50Speaker 3: Keep it unsafe and unaffordable with Kathy Hokeel as your governor.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know, what do you think it's an
- 10:57Speaker 1: effective technique? Sometimes? Yeah? I actually I like it. So
- 11:01Speaker 1: the problem is Hockel has got about forty two million
- 11:04Speaker 1: to spend. She's raised twenty million. The Democrat Party has
- 11:08Speaker 1: about twenty two million to give her. Blakeman has raised
- 11:11Speaker 1: eleven million. It's tough for him because normally, hey, all
- 11:16Speaker 1: the big business guys want Blakeman very badly, but many
- 11:20Speaker 1: of them afraid to donate because they're doing business here
- 11:22Speaker 1: and they don't want Kathy Hockel mad at them. So
- 11:25Speaker 1: it's tough for him. So he needs help. He needs donations.
- 11:28Speaker 1: He can donate go to blakemanfronew york dot com. Help
- 11:31Speaker 1: him out, blakemanfornew york dot com. Now, the big election
- 11:37Speaker 1: issue midterms coming up, big, big, big issue in the
- 11:42Speaker 1: election was affordability. The whole election was affordability. But Democrats
- 11:47Speaker 1: have once again screwed themselves up completely, you know, very
- 11:52Speaker 1: often as bad as the Republicans can get. No matter
- 11:55Speaker 1: how bad the Republicans get, the Democrats have a talent
- 11:58Speaker 1: to always make themselves even worse, to find some way
- 12:01Speaker 1: to be even worse. And they've done it this time
- 12:04Speaker 1: by becoming socialist communist things. They keep using the word socialists.
- 12:07Speaker 1: It's the same thing as communism. It's just socialists. They
- 12:11Speaker 1: usually elected, Communists usually take over through revolution. But it's
- 12:14Speaker 1: the same, exact, same exact thing. So this movement, the
- 12:20Speaker 1: whole democratic movement, to become communists, that's going to be
- 12:24Speaker 1: the midterm issue. And for that it's easy for Republicans
- 12:30Speaker 1: to win. And that's why President Trump is just going
- 12:32Speaker 1: after the communist stuff. You know, it used to be
- 12:35Speaker 1: if you were a communist and you were in government
- 12:37Speaker 1: and a communist boy, you had to hide. McCarthy would
- 12:39Speaker 1: hunt you down and you had to lie and say
- 12:42Speaker 1: you weren't. Are you a communist? No? No, no, Now
- 12:46Speaker 1: the campaign is communists. So Trump is going to use
- 12:49Speaker 1: that as the issue with communism.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Everything turns to Okay, terrible time. It's my wife face
- 13:05Speaker 2: it when I do that. She said you were doing
- 13:08Speaker 2: so nicely and then you had to use a foul ware.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Yeah. Well but again he's the Howard Stern president. Yeah,
- 13:15Speaker 1: why does he have to talk like that? Why does
- 13:16Speaker 1: he have to say that he's a Howard Stern sort
- 13:18Speaker 1: of president.
- 13:19Speaker 2: And you know they want to give everyone everything away.
- 13:22Speaker 2: You want free rent, you want free house, you want
- 13:24Speaker 2: to What they don't say is in a year from
- 13:26Speaker 2: now they'll be absolute squalor, turmoil and death. These people
- 13:31Speaker 2: are crazy, but communism is. In my opinion, communism is
- 13:38Speaker 2: the single greatest threat to our country and its history,
- 13:41Speaker 2: including even World War One and World War two. Pearl
- 13:45Speaker 2: Harbor nine to eleven. I think it's the greatest threat
- 13:47Speaker 2: that I've ever seen to our country. These people are
- 13:49Speaker 2: stone called crazy.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Yeah, Convias of the Founding Fathers coming back and seeing
- 13:54Speaker 1: Democrats are trying to bring communism to It's crazy. So
- 13:59Speaker 1: it's going to be the issue. Now. The real question
- 14:02Speaker 1: is you got the elders of the Democratic Party, the
- 14:05Speaker 1: people who you would think really behind the scenes are
- 14:08Speaker 1: running the Democratic Party, the smart, experienced people. Why are
- 14:13Speaker 1: they so frightened? I don't mean the shumers are those types, Jeffreys.
- 14:18Speaker 1: I mean those are just frightened idiots hiding under their deskin.
- 14:21Speaker 1: But we're are the Clintons. And I know behind the
- 14:24Speaker 1: scenes the Clintons hate this. They hate what's going on.
- 14:27Speaker 1: The Obamas hate this. All the smart Democrats were But
- 14:30Speaker 1: where are they? How did they lose control? How do
- 14:33Speaker 1: they get so frightened of these twelve year old communists?
- 14:37Speaker 1: They're just terrified of them in standing up to them. Anyway,
- 14:40Speaker 1: we'll get back to that. We got a lot to
- 14:41Speaker 1: get to today. We'll take some calls in a minute.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten is
- 14:49Speaker 1: the number. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
