Father, we come to you today as your children.

Lord, we increase our childlike faith today, not trusting in our

own senses, not trusting in the systems of this world.

Father, we put our whole heart and our whole faith, our whole

self and all of our senses. God, all of our trust, all of

our adoration, God, all of our affection in you and you alone.

Father, I thank you for the inspired, complete word that

you've given us. Thank you, God, that you have

given us the mind of Christ, that you have replaced our Stony

hearts, God, with a soft heart. God, help us to break up the

fallow ground. Help us to get out of all of the

tares and cares and snares of this world.

Father, I pray that you'll remove a fence.

Lord, you'll remove all the traps along the way, all the

pitfalls along the way. Father, I pray, Lord, that you

will continue to lead us home from glory to glory and sanctify

us, Lord, as we empty ourselves of ourselves.

I pray Holy Spirit, you'll come into the temple, You'll fill us

today and that you will search us out, Lord, and if there is

anything knowing or unknowingly in US, part of our mindset, part

of our DNA, part of our charisma and personality, if there is any

lies that are prevalent. God, I pray in the name of Jesus

you will crush the rebellion. Father, I pray in the name of

Jesus, Holy Spirit, you will carve out and that like a good

surgeon, you will take out all the cancerous, toxic thinking

and emotions that we have. God, I pray that we will be men

and women of faith, marked by your goodness and grace.

I pray against immaturity, Father, I pray against fits of

rage, God, in the name of Jesus Christ.

I pray against addiction, God, in the name of Jesus.

Lord, I pray for a sound mind. God, I pray for healthy bodies

that are yielded unto you. Lord, however many days left on

this earth that we have, God help us to be found serving you

and loving you Father, and loving our neighbor as our self.

Lord, I pray in the name of Jesus for all of the inhabitants

God, not just tongue in cheek Father, but genuinely letting go

of all malice and deceit and discord, letting go of all

God, I pray in the name of Jesus that we will overcome evil with

we'll be shrouded with the armor of light to day.

God Almighty, we put on the full armor to day.

Lord, help us to exude all the fruits of the Spirit to day.

salvation for somebody somewhere across this globe.

Father, let these eternal words, these inspired words go out to

the ends of the earth, Father, and touch many.

Father, I pray that it'll be your word and only your word.

God, that changes the lives. Hide me and hide my words and

Holy Spirit, come and have your way.

come here on earth, just as it is their.

Lord. I pray for righteous judges and

righteous teachers, God to rise up and to lead the charge,

Father. I pray against the schemes of

the enemy on the youth, Father, I pray for a revival to break

out from the king to the cattle God.

Worldwide global revival to break out today, Father, I pray

in the name of Jesus that your words will never return.

Void God, and you will not be mocked.

You are everything. You are All in all.

You are the all sufficient sacrifice.

Help us rightly to divide the word today and increase our

God, let us stand on truth. Father, I pray for a

righteousness of Christ to be imputed upon to us.

Father, as we remember our salvation story.

God, you are so good, we love you.

Thank you for saving us as a firebrand and putting a new coat

We are marked by you, God. We have taken off the old man,

God. We are regenerated, God.

We are born again because you have said so and we believe it

and we stand on those promises. Let us get rid of all the

lustful desires they try to creep in, all the pride of life

they try to creep in and help us to walk in the Spirit and not

satisfy any of those sinful behaviors.

Father, keep us God, shower us with your goodness and grace.

God, we love you. Send your holy and precious Son

King Jesus's name that we ask these things and pray.

Amen. Let's start in verse one.

Let a man so account of us as one of the ministers of Christ,

as of the ministers of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of

God. So here Paul is going to lay out

some more of his credentials to show them that even though they

deem him to be weak and unimpressive, he is saying,

look, I am not worried about how you view me.

I have one audience and his name is God Almighty Yahweh.

That is the only one that we are worried about how they think of

us. We do not have this fear of man.

We're not worried about if people think of us as being
8:31
impressive or not. And Paul is going to lay out
8:36
that he is not worried about how they view him, he is only
8:40
worried about God and how God thinks about him.

We are accountable to one person, God Almighty. 2

Moreover, it is required in stewards that a man be found
8:56
faithful. So he was the one to hold the

mysteries of God and hear this Pharisee of the Pharisees who
9:05
had learned and memorized the entire Old Testament.

And he was a teacher of the law there in Jerusalem and from the
9:15
school of Gamaliel. And he had all his credentials,

and he counted it all as refuse. It was nothing but filthy rags,
9:24
but he used all of his education to line up with all of the
9:29
promises of Jesus Christ, His earthly ministry, his three
9:33
years that he flipped the whole world right side up.

And here we can see that Paul is going back to all those
9:42
mysteries that were hidden throughout the Old Testament,

and now he is the one stewarding them and pinning them down for
9:52
us here in the New Testament, for us to see how it's all
9:56
congruent. This tapestry, line upon line
9:59
and precept upon precept, the Scripture interpreting

Scripture, friends. And it is a great mystery that

has been revealed. This revelation that we can have
10:10
friends of the Spirit calls out deep calls to deep and it is one
10:16
spirit and as the Holy Spirit in somebody and the Holy Spirit in
10:23
the Holy Scriptures, they quicken inside the inner man
10:27
friends and it makes the connection and the light bulb
10:31
moment goes off and we're able to see Jesus as who truly is the
10:37
Son of God. Verse 3 But with me it is a very
10:43
small thing that I should be judged of you or of man's
10:49
judgement. Yeah, I judge not my own self.

So he's saying only God can judge me.

He's saying that he is not worried about if they think that

he is a great teacher or that he is a unattractive teacher.

He's not worried about that. He's only worried about
11:15
stewarding properly the mysteries of God that has been
11:18
given to him. They have been entrusted to him.

And now because of the complete authority of God's word from

Genesis to Revelation, they have been entrusted to us.

Friends. Back here in Paul's day, they
11:32
didn't even have the printing press.

They just had these papyrus rolls and they would pin them
11:39
and then they would have to distribute them out and they
11:43
were very limited in their access to these letters.

They would have to be recopied and then distributed.

And here you can see how much more responsibility you and I
11:59
have because we hold in our hands the complete Word of God

and what are we doing with it? It is such an attack on
12:09
Christianity and attack on the church whenever we do not pick
12:15
up our Bibles and learn our Bibles and get into our Bibles
12:18
and we only want to be entertained by the things of
12:20
this world. We want these self help books
12:24
and we want these motivational speakers.

And we are neglecting the truths that are found in the complete
12:30
authority of God's Word, friends.

And you can see all of the ailments within the body because
12:38
of our lack of discernment and our lack of knowledge.

And it is ignorance of the word of God that is plaguing this
12:45
world more than anything else. Friends, if we truly and
12:49
accurately knew the Word of God from front to back and back to
12:53
front, if we have hidden it in our hearts, then you will see
12:57
that all the things, every single thing that is happening
13:02
in the world today all lines up completely with God's
13:06
scriptures. And you would not have the
13:08
anxiety and the depression in all of the fear that is plaguing
13:14
this generation. Friends, if you knew the
13:19
complete authority of God's Word, then you would see that
13:24
prophecy must unfold. These things must happen, but
13:28
woe to the one whom they come through.
13:31
And Paul understood so much of the Word of God, and he was
13:36
being hijacked and inspired by the Holy Ghost in this letter.

And here we are, 2000 years removed from this moment, being
13:45
eternally blessed by Paul's emptying of himself to be filled
13:51
with the Holy Ghost. And that is our call today.

Friends, we must let go of all of our own prejudiceness.

We have to let go of all of our own preferences.

We have to let go of this moral approach to God.

And we must be rooted and grounded and steeped in God's
14:11
Word and allow it to become the very thoughts inside of our
14:14
minds, the very heartbeat inside of our chest.

Friends, He is not worried if they want to rail him and judge
14:23
him on any corner. He is only accountable to God
14:27
Almighty. Verse 4 For I know nothing by
14:31
myself, yet am I not hereby justified?
14:35
But he that judges me is the Lord.

So we are just, if I'd never done it because of the blood of
14:45
Jesus Christ, he's saying the only thing that I know is that I
14:49
know nothing. And that is a great place to be
14:51
because you can actually be taught when you get to that
14:54
place. If you think that you have a
14:56
corner on God, if you think that you have a corner on the
15:00
mysteries of God, if you think that you have figured God out,
15:05
that is a good place to lose every bit of the wisdom that you
15:11
possess. The little bit that you have
15:13
will be taken away. But those that know that they
15:18
know nothing except for Christ and Christ crucified, God will
15:22
be well pleased to give them all the authority and the knowledge
15:28
that He possesses. Five.

Therefore judge nothing before the time until the Lord comes,
15:40
who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and
15:44
will make known the counsels of the hearts.

And then shall every man have praise of God, so his rewards
15:54
are with him. He comes.

Quickly. Look up and see that your
15:57
redemption is drawing near and you need to know something here

in this little text. Just because only God can judge
16:08
us does not make us exempt from judging a brother or a sister

within the confines of the church capital.

C But first we are to remove the plank out of our own eye before

we go and deal with the speck. It is not that we just don't
16:26
judge. Don't judge me, you can't judge
16:29
me. That's not the case here,

friends. But we must be willing to deal
16:34
with the sin in our own lives before we can go and try to pull
16:38
out any speck out of our brother's eye.

Friends 6 And these things, brothers, I have in a figure
16:51
transferred to myself, to Apollo's for your sakes, that
16:57
you might learn in us not to think of men above that which is
17:01
written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against
17:07
another. We've got to let go of this fear
17:10
of man. Friends, we cannot hold human
17:15
beings in a position higher than God.
17:20
Almighty God takes first place always in every relationship, in
17:26
the relationship with you and your boss.
17:28
In the relationship with you and the government.
17:31
In relationship with you and your spouse.
17:34
In the relationship with you and your children.
17:36
In the relationship with you and your pride, you and your
17:40
arrogance, in the relationship with you and your vanity, God
17:45
takes preeminence. He is the top tier.

And it is only God that we try and please friends.

And the only way that we can please God is by putting on the
17:59
righteousness of Christ and being clothed in the blood of
18:05
Jesus Christ from the palms of our hands, the soles of our
18:08
feet, our forehead, friends, our backs, and our bellies.

To be bathed in the blood of Christ is the only thing that
18:16
will atone for all of the sins that we have committed.

Do not be puffed up, Do not be arrogant, for the very little
18:26
that you have will be taken away from you. 7 For who makes you to
18:31
differ from another? And what have you that you did
18:35
not receive? Now if you did receive it, why
18:38
do you glory as though you had not received it?
18:42
So do you remember what Jesus Christ told Pilate?

When Pilate says, do you not know who I am, That I have the
18:48
power to release you? And Jesus says you have no power
18:53
over me but that which has been given to you by God Almighty.

You need to understand that God puts the rulers into place and

sometimes He gives us incompetent rulers as judgment
19:05
for the sins that we have committed in the land, friends.

And that is what you were seeing in our day, in our hour.

But these 10 kings must hand over all their power to the
19:15
Antichrist one day. And you're seeing it all shape
19:18
up, friends. These 10 toes that are
19:22
intermingled between iron and clay, You're seeing it all
19:25
shaped up, friends. It's all lining up, friends.
19:29
And scripture is going to fulfill itself to the exact
19:33
letter of how it told you it was going to be.

We do not need to be puffed up. We do not need to try and act as
19:40
if it was something that we earned.

It was a free gift, friends, but it cost him everything. 8 Now
19:50
you're full, now you're rich. You have reigned as kings
19:58
without us. And I would to God you did reign

that we also might reign with you.

So Paul here is going to expound a little bit upon his Apostolic.

Integrity, his Apostolic position and he's going to show

these Corinthians who were steeped in idolatry and their
20:21
carnality and they were steeped in luxury and there was so many
20:27
shrines of prostitution and they had thought that they could
20:31
intermingle this Yahweh that Paul was preaching, this Jesus
20:38
the Christ that Paul was preaching and intermingling in
20:42
with their culture. And Paul is saying here that in
20:46
this life you are rich and you are full and they will say we
20:51
have no need for God when you are rich and you are full, you
20:57
marginalized your faith and Paul is saying I wish that you did
21:01
reign. I wish that you had come into
21:07
your position of reigning, and one day we will reign with
21:12
Christ. And Paul says, if you had
21:14
already reached that, then we would be there with you. 9 For I
21:20
think that God has set forth us, the apostles, last, as it were,
21:27
appointed to death. For we are made a spectacle unto
21:32
the world, and to angels and to men.

This is humility and patience exuding from these apostles who
21:41
came before us. Look at how the early church was
21:45
persecuted, friends, and history reveals this persecution of the
21:55
Christians during the 1st century, and you can see it now.

Fast forward to you and to me, friends, and look at how we have
22:05
built these great mausoleums, these colosseums.

Look at how we have built these great museums of faith, these
22:15
great ornate buildings with their stained glass windows,
22:20
with the color of the carpet, the pews, friends.

And look at how the suit and ties and the limousines and the
22:28
private jets and Paul is saying here that as the early church
22:34
was being birthed, they were put on display and mocked and beaten
22:39
and killed for the faith that you and I hold so loosely.

And we abuse our liberality and the grace, friends.
22:48
And far be it from us to turn our back on God because we
22:54
choose to use His words to usurp authority over the masses,

friends. Far be it from us to ever be the
23:03
ones to try to manipulate God's word for our selfish vanity and
23:09
gain, friends. And this is a spectacle unto
23:15
angels and men. And do you not know that the
23:18
angels are watching? And they are watching God's
23:22
masterpiece? Friends, we are made in His
23:26
image, and we are His masterpiece.

And the angels are subject to us, friends.

And sometimes we trade our birthright for a bowl of
23:35
pottage, friends. And far be it from us to go and
23:40
to squander our inheritance with the filthy lucre and the
23:44
prostitution. Friends, you cannot serve both
23:48
God and Mammon 10 We are fools for Christ's sake, but you are
23:54
wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong.
23:59
You are honorable, and we are despised.

Perhaps there is some sarcasm that is laced within these
24:05
words, but what you need to understand is that this is
24:10
completely true for all the martyrs of this world, for all
24:14
those that have counted the cost.

And they did not care if it cost them their very lives, if it
24:19
cost them their families, if it cost them their reputation and
24:23
their pride. They let it all go.

And there are so many who sit on the sidelines and they are the
24:31
ones who are responsible for sending out those in the church,
24:38
but they get to live in the lap of luxury in the meantime and in
24:42
between time. And Paul is saying that those
24:46
that are sent out into the battlegrounds, those that are
24:48
sent out are despised and rejected and cut down and cut to
24:53
pieces, friends, and are murdered for their faith.

We have seen examples of that in our day of those who counted the
25:05
cost, and they were unafraid and they were unashamed.

And praise God for the blood of the martyr, because it is the
25:12
seed of the revival, friends, and you're seeing it now break
25:17
out in full force. Praise God.

Hallelujah. What the enemy meant for evil,
25:22
God is using for good. We're fools for Christ. 11 Even
25:34
unto this present hour we both hunger, thirst, we are naked, we
25:39
are buffeted and have no certain dwelling place.

Foxes have holes and birds have nests, but the Son of man has
25:46
nowhere to lay his head. And what you need to understand
25:49
is when you come to the Lord God Almighty, and you put your hand
25:53
to the plow and you go out into the harvest, the body has many
25:57
different parts. And God bless those who go out
26:03
and they count the cost and know that it very well could cost in
26:07
their lives. 12 And labor working with our own hands being
26:14
reviled, we bless being persecuted, we suffer it.

So this is turning the cheek. This is not repaying evil with
26:25
evil, but overcoming evil with good friends.

And that is what we need to understand is that vengeance is
26:34
God's, it is not ours. He did say if you have two
26:39
coats, then you could sell one and grab a sword.

But by and large, we need to understand the wisdom of being
26:47
able to protect our families and ourselves.

And a strong man armed, keepeth his house.
26:53
And then when God says do not live by the sword or you will
26:58
die by the sword, you need to understand that friends.

And this calls for wisdom. 13 being defamed.

We entreat we are made as the filth of the world and are the
27:14
off scouring of all things unto this day.

Wow, what a thought friends. You can see it being played out
27:26
in Israel and with the Jews. Friends this off scouring this
27:33
filth of the world. You can see how this
27:38
anti-Semitism has risen up so many times in the history of the
27:43
world and the church in previous times.

Far be it from us to be the ones to persecute the Jews.

And what you're going to need to understand is if you study
27:55
secular history, every nation who has ever persecuted the Jews

has lost their opulence. They have lost their position as
28:08
being a land of prosperity and a land of blessings.

They have lost their office amongst the world.
28:17
But these things must happen, and woe to the one whom they
28:21
come through. We must be found standing on the
28:25
right side of history. We cannot look down the nose at
28:29
this despised people. Group friends 14 I write not
28:40
these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons, I warn you,
28:47
beware and be warned. Anyone who turns their back on
28:53
the Jews will be dismayed. We cannot be found persecuting
29:02
any people group, much less God's chosen and elect the
29:07
natural that we have been grafted into as the wild.

If He cut out the natural branches, how much easier is it?

It is it for him to cut out the wild?

Do not be found persecuting the Jews. 15 For though you have
29:25
10,000 instructors in Christ, yet have you not many fathers?

For in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.

So what Paul is illustrating here is that he started this
29:40
church. There might be many who have
29:42
come after Paul who have expounded upon all these truths,

but he is writing to us as a father of faith.

Friends, he is a pioneer and all those that have come after him

are just settlers in the lands that he actually started up

these boom towns. Friends, and here we are
30:06
eternally blessed for all of eternity.

We will be talking about these startups that Paul went into

these lands and was able to get off the ground. 16 Wherefore I
30:22
beg you, be followers of me. During a time where the printing
30:28
press was not available and Bibles were not readily
30:33
accessible and distributable, they had to look at someone who
30:38
was accurately following after the Lord Jesus Christ to know
30:42
how to follow after the Lord Jesus Christ.

And Paul's going to send Timothy to them in his absence.

But what you need to understand is that your life today, friend,

this very day, your life today is being watched whether you

like it or not. You cannot just be ignorant of

the Word of God and start acting as a carnal Christian because

people will see that and think that that is OK.

You might be the only Bible today that someone reads.

So make sure that your life is mirrored and modeled after Jesus

Christ and Jesus alone. 17 For this, 'cause I have sent unto

you Timothy, who is my beloved Son, faithful in the Lord, who
31:36
shall bring you into remembrance of my ways, which be in Christ,
31:43
as I teach everywhere in every church, modeled after the Lord
31:47
Jesus Christ. Everything that he said you say,

everything that he did, you do. Everywhere that he went, you go.

Friends, it is Jesus Christ alone is the chief cornerstone

that we build our entire life after.

It is Genesis to Revelation that point to Christ. 18 Now some are

puffed up, as though I would not come to you, 19 But I will come
32:19
to you shortly, if the Lord wills.

And we'll know not the speech of them which are puffed up, but
32:30
the power. 20 For the Kingdom of God is not in Word, but in
32:39
power. We'll end on 21.

What will you shall I come unto you with a rod or in love and in
32:51
the spirit of meekness, God looks at every blood bought,

born again believer and he says, hey, we can do this the easy way

or the hard way. We must choose which direction,

but either way, God's going to have His will and have His way.

And if we will not get in line with the Lord Jesus Christ, all

of His purposes and plans will not be thwarted.

He will find another to perform the things that He desired for

you to do. Friends, it is only you who

suffer whenever we get out of line with the Lord Jesus Christ.

His plans and purposes are eternal and will be made known

throughout all the world for all time's sake, for all of
33:51
eternity. Friends, if you will get in line

with Him, you will be eternally blessed, and you will hear His
33:57
voice when you obey it. We must get in the Word of God,

be rooted and grounded in it, and not to be ignorant of it.

Friends, He can come to you either with the rod of
34:11
correction and He disciplines those that he loves and it
34:15
produces the character, this perseverance, friends.

But what you need to know is we can avoid many pitfalls of the

enemy, many siftings of the enemy, if we will just stay in
34:27
line with the Lord Jesus Christ. And it will be gentleness and
34:33
meekness for those who choose to empty themselves of themselves
34:40
and not allow any part of the world to infiltrate the camp of
34:44
God. It is good for the boat to be in
34:46
the water, but it is not good for the water to be in the boat,
34:50
friends. And the boat is not meant to be
34:52
stored in a shipyard somewhere. Let's get out on the waves
34:56
today. Let's walk on the waves today.
