- 0:51Speaker 1: I'm coming to you live from Kenney's basement apartment on
- 0:54Speaker 1: this very soggy evening where the fog is flown in
- 0:59Speaker 1: and we.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Played can the Child named the Child's song? Sports a legagly.
- 1:06Speaker 3: Welcome, Welcome, welcome, Thank you everyone for joining us for
- 1:09Speaker 3: this episode of Sports Legi on this last day of
- 1:11Speaker 3: the month of April twenty twenty five, Episode one nineteen
- 1:16Speaker 3: and Uh, it's been a bit of a hiatus, but hey,
- 1:20Speaker 3: we're back for the best primo sports and to get
- 1:25Speaker 3: into the heart of we're talking NBA playoffs, which right
- 1:29Speaker 3: now currently Timberwolves ninety three Lakers ninety one. We're late
- 1:33Speaker 3: in this event. Uh kind of been keeping tabs on
- 1:36Speaker 3: that in slow rolling to get this started, to kind
- 1:38Speaker 3: of watch the end of it. We decided to go
- 1:40Speaker 3: ahead and get started. But like I said, ninety three
- 1:42Speaker 3: to ninety one Lakers could be out of it tonight. Lebron, Lebron.
- 1:47Speaker 2: We had a child, and we had a cranky teenager
- 1:50Speaker 2: defeat and songs to guess. So, but what I was
- 1:56Speaker 2: gonna do for this episode since we've been going for
- 1:58Speaker 2: a month, was just run down.
- 2:01Speaker 4: This is just like a catch up episode. It's not
- 2:04Speaker 4: gonna be, Hey, what what we missed? And so R
- 2:09Speaker 4: I P too, your mother, we lost her. That's kind
- 2:12Speaker 4: of that kind of was what took us out. R
- 2:16Speaker 4: I P to Manga McMichael's I'm glad he got.
- 2:18Speaker 3: In Hall of Fame. That's correct.
- 2:21Speaker 2: R I P to the others that I've missed, because
- 2:24Speaker 2: I know there's others that have died, but.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Mango was the big it's been. It's been.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Let's see.
- 2:33Speaker 4: So we missed, Oh, you women winning the gymnastics. I
- 2:39Speaker 4: don't know if the men. I don't know if the
- 2:40Speaker 4: men what they did. I never saw that. It never
- 2:44Speaker 4: came to We.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Missed all of March madness.
- 2:48Speaker 3: We did.
- 2:49Speaker 2: I think we might have previewed it, we might have
- 2:51Speaker 2: started it, but we missed all of that. And congratulations
- 2:56Speaker 2: to Florida and okay, oh you men finished third.
- 3:01Speaker 3: And oh you finished first.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Yeah, so congratulations to what was his name? Compton? Compy?
- 3:13Speaker 3: Can I take credit for picking Florida? And I think
- 3:16Speaker 3: I'm on an episode going you gotta watch Florida. Florida
- 3:20Speaker 3: is a sneaky good team.
- 3:22Speaker 4: You Kevin, and you had Alabama and and Auburn. Auburn
- 3:24Speaker 4: was the number one overall in Alabama.
- 3:27Speaker 3: Never believed in Alabama, no defense.
- 3:29Speaker 4: But hey, also congratulations Calvin Sampson for making his first title.
- 3:35Speaker 3: Was going for Kelvin too.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Yes, we were actually rooting because he did coach for you.
- 3:40Speaker 3: That that was. That was a bit of a disappointment
- 3:42Speaker 3: because I really was hoping that that he won.
- 3:45Speaker 2: That there was there was the draft that we missed
- 3:48Speaker 2: that we're going.
- 3:49Speaker 3: To preview a little bit of draft. I want to
- 3:50Speaker 3: talk about draft today.
- 3:52Speaker 4: There was a draft and I usually take off of that,
- 3:54Speaker 4: and I've realized that something was wrong and the draft
- 3:56Speaker 4: was happening and I didn't take.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Off work your schedule.
- 3:59Speaker 4: Yeah, we forgot as I take off of that day
- 4:01Speaker 4: and I forgot that it was happening until the day
- 4:05Speaker 4: it was happening.
- 4:06Speaker 2: And I was like, oh crap, which we'll get into
- 4:09Speaker 2: how bad that was.
- 4:11Speaker 4: Let's see the oh you men baseball team are still
- 4:16Speaker 4: in top twenty five, but they've been up and down
- 4:17Speaker 4: because the SEC is baseball heavy in the top in
- 4:22Speaker 4: the top twenty five itself, I can go right here
- 4:26Speaker 4: and tell you right now that you know, okay, so
- 4:28Speaker 4: Texas is currently number one, LSU number two. You jumped
- 4:31Speaker 4: down Georgia at number nine, Auburn at ten, Arkansas eleven,
- 4:35Speaker 4: Tennessee twelve. Didn't Tennessee have number one position at one point?
- 4:39Speaker 3: Well, we lost to Georgia. We lost two out of
- 4:41Speaker 3: three to Georgia, and Georgia moved from nine to seven.
- 4:44Speaker 2: But didn't we did in Tennessee. Was in Tennessee number
- 4:47Speaker 2: one at some point in the season.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Yes, recent the recent champs last year, Right championship last.
- 4:52Speaker 4: Year, Vandi's number fifteen, Alabama's at eighteen, Oklahoma's coming in
- 4:57Speaker 4: at twenty one, Southern Miss.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Right behind him at twenty two, get text Ole Miss
- 5:01Speaker 2: at twenty, Texas number one in Arkansas. So that is
- 5:06Speaker 2: that has.
- 5:06Speaker 4: Been a huge slug fest since end season has started.
- 5:13Speaker 4: Oh you women have been in and out of being
- 5:15Speaker 4: number one all season.
- 5:16Speaker 2: I didn't remember. I didn't understand what Tennessee was made.
- 5:20Speaker 2: I saw it the other day.
- 5:21Speaker 4: I didn't understand what Tennessee was made number one when
- 5:23Speaker 4: they had six losses or not six losses, nine losses.
- 5:27Speaker 3: Well at that point that they were formerly number three.
- 5:30Speaker 3: So now they're Oregon actually was the number one, and
- 5:33Speaker 3: I think they lost maybe one or two and then
- 5:35Speaker 3: they dropped.
- 5:35Speaker 2: I don't remember Orgon ever being number one.
- 5:37Speaker 3: They were last week.
- 5:38Speaker 2: That's oh well, Tennessee was the number one before that.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Oh wait a minute, is that just first place votes?
- 5:43Speaker 3: I'm sorry Tennessee. Tennessee previous organ is organ is moving up.
- 5:49Speaker 3: They have not lost. I was I was looking at
- 5:50Speaker 3: first place votes. Tennessee was nember.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Texas has dropped a number five.
- 5:54Speaker 3: And A and M had had had lost a few and.
- 5:57Speaker 4: I don't know if we have the Oklahoma State women. Yeah,
- 5:59Speaker 4: they're they're twenty three, which is very disappointing for them
- 6:03Speaker 4: because they came in really hot.
- 6:05Speaker 3: What are you doing, Oklahoma State Softball?
- 6:07Speaker 2: What are you doing? Oklahoma State sports? We'll get into
- 6:09Speaker 2: that too, because.
- 6:11Speaker 3: Let's talk a little bit about Oklahoma softball. I mean
- 6:14Speaker 3: a rebuilding year for them.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Yeah, and what you could say is one pitcher.
- 6:19Speaker 3: And they have moved. They have the series with Florida
- 6:22Speaker 3: this weekend. They win that series, they take two out
- 6:25Speaker 3: of three of that series. They're going to be the
- 6:26Speaker 3: number one seed in the SEC tournament. I mean, that's
- 6:31Speaker 3: crazy to think about that. We went from the Big
- 6:33Speaker 3: twelve to the SEC. Have done very much are way
- 6:38Speaker 3: more dominant women have done way more dominant than the
- 6:40Speaker 3: Big Twelve. As far as softball goes.
- 6:43Speaker 4: Basketball, women's softball have all done very well.
- 6:48Speaker 3: We are in the are a bunch of ladies.
- 6:51Speaker 4: We're starting to more and more because they've got their
- 6:55Speaker 4: ship together. We missed the beginning of the UFL uh
- 6:59Speaker 4: domin a win by the Arlington Renegades.
- 7:02Speaker 2: They are currently standing three and one or three and two,
- 7:05Speaker 2: with the DC Defenders at four and one.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Now, you said the Renegades are dominating. Their last one
- 7:11Speaker 3: they lost.
- 7:11Speaker 2: I think said they started started very dominant. They beat
- 7:18Speaker 2: the they beat the Birmingham Stadions. I believe that the
- 7:20Speaker 2: Stadians beat them for their.
- 7:21Speaker 3: First I think was the last game. That's why the
- 7:28Speaker 3: right DC defenders calling out win it all.
- 7:31Speaker 4: No, no, no, Birmingham is still gonna win. It were
- 7:34Speaker 4: four years in a row, baby, So we missed the
- 7:39Speaker 4: beginning of the UFL.
- 7:42Speaker 2: All of the drama that has happened in the in
- 7:48Speaker 2: the draft playoffs started for basketball.
- 7:52Speaker 4: And for hockey, and right now, as we were talking earlier,
- 7:57Speaker 4: it looks like Florida is going to be coming out
- 8:03Speaker 4: of the Atlantic and we have no idea who is
- 8:08Speaker 4: going to be coming out of the Pacific specific right
- 8:12Speaker 4: now is yeah, they're beating up on each other.
- 8:18Speaker 3: I I like, I like I like the Stars. I
- 8:21Speaker 3: don't know why, you know, watch them play. They played that.
- 8:24Speaker 3: I don't evenmember who they played. Was it Washington? And
- 8:27Speaker 3: it was without Ovechkin. Obviously that makes a huge difference
- 8:30Speaker 3: because because it wasn't who did they play Sean that
- 8:34Speaker 3: we went and the Capitals that we saw, No, we
- 8:37Speaker 3: were gonna go watch them play the cap We watched
- 8:39Speaker 3: them play.
- 8:39Speaker 2: We did watch it because the were there and we
- 8:41Speaker 2: were talking to them.
- 8:43Speaker 3: Bek was coming back and we watched you know, Washington,
- 8:48Speaker 3: I mean, the skating and the speed and everything was
- 8:50Speaker 3: just better.
- 8:50Speaker 2: It's just and Washington just Snadians and the Stars were
- 8:54Speaker 2: just so they just took the habs out of the.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Stars were just consistent, good defense, played good off, I mean,
- 9:02Speaker 3: and they did. You could tell they played well together.
- 9:05Speaker 3: I like them. They beat this They beat the Avs,
- 9:08Speaker 3: I think it was last night pretty handily. Looks like
- 9:10Speaker 3: right now one O two ninety six, Uh, Timberwolves over
- 9:15Speaker 3: the Lakers at LA looks like, well, then.
- 9:17Speaker 4: You get into then you get into the NBA in
- 9:19Speaker 4: the playoffs, and so far Oklahoma City.
- 9:22Speaker 3: Yes, so Olahoma City obviously swept Cleveland and Cleveland swept
- 9:26Speaker 3: as well.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Boston and the Pacers are all the only ones that
- 9:29Speaker 2: are in right now.
- 9:30Speaker 3: Yes, Pacers will be the four seed. Pacers will match
- 9:33Speaker 3: up with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Interesting matchup. I really like Haliburton,
- 9:37Speaker 3: don't like his dad. Apparently you're seeing all that drama. No,
- 9:41Speaker 3: that was with Giannis Uh speaking of Yanni's uh slap
- 9:44Speaker 3: a label on that, and I know everybody's talking about
- 9:46Speaker 3: but he's not.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Gonna be a Remember, they fired the coach, I know.
- 9:49Speaker 3: Just like Denver fired theirs. We'll see how that works out. Okay,
- 9:52Speaker 3: just like Memphis fired their coach. Has that out looking
- 9:56Speaker 3: so so?
- 9:57Speaker 4: Hold on you got you? Also, you take that back
- 9:59Speaker 4: to hockey looking by Bruins. They fired their coach and
- 10:01Speaker 4: they missed the playoffs for the first time in ten
- 10:03Speaker 4: twelve years.
- 10:06Speaker 3: You know, Pat Jones always said it best and to
- 10:08Speaker 3: be honest, and he wears me a little bit at times,
- 10:10Speaker 3: but I just love hearing his old stories. But he said,
- 10:13Speaker 3: you you know, sometimes you fire to get better, and
- 10:15Speaker 3: he said, and you just get worse. Sometimes you just
- 10:17Speaker 3: go worse, worse, you know, you're always you're always trying
- 10:20Speaker 3: to get better than you know, seven and five, eight
- 10:22Speaker 3: and four, and then you become three and nine.
- 10:25Speaker 4: And here's the issue nowadays talking football, you well just actually,
- 10:29Speaker 4: i'm gonna say this, for any sport, you don't give
- 10:30Speaker 4: a coach. The coach goes and wins a title or
- 10:33Speaker 4: it gets you to the title, and you don't, and
- 10:37Speaker 4: he has one or two bad years after that, Like
- 10:39Speaker 4: he'll have good years and then we'll have a couple
- 10:41Speaker 4: of bad years after that, and they just don't give
- 10:43Speaker 4: him a chance.
- 10:44Speaker 2: They're like, Okay, well you're done. We're not giving you.
- 10:47Speaker 2: We're not giving you anymore than you than you had.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Or we're telling you to take this terrible player and
- 10:53Speaker 2: keep this terrible player, and we want you to win
- 10:56Speaker 2: with this terrible player. You know, the coach can argue
- 11:00Speaker 2: that that terrible player is what's holding the team down,
- 11:03Speaker 2: or that he's not getting enough good players.
- 11:05Speaker 3: We were talking about, I mean in general, I mean
- 11:07Speaker 3: we didn't touching as far as as far as basketball.
- 11:10Speaker 3: You know, we haven't really talked about much about the
- 11:12Speaker 3: Luca trade we missed to the Lakers.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Yeah, we were, and that one, you know, got to
- 11:19Speaker 2: butt in.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Both teams and he asked, well, it's what happens is
- 11:24Speaker 3: you're dumb because you're Dallas, because you traded Luca for one.
- 11:27Speaker 3: He's an all star. He took them to the championship.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Took it to the playoffs and in the championship.
- 11:32Speaker 3: He was in the championship the Western. He was a
- 11:33Speaker 3: championship last year and then he championship two out of
- 11:36Speaker 3: three years.
- 11:37Speaker 4: But that the Hamburgers, the cheeseburgers are coming. The beer,
- 11:41Speaker 4: the beer, the American style.
- 11:44Speaker 3: Okay. Getting to Sonny, ask you okay, so you you
- 11:48Speaker 3: claim and and that's what their GM and I can't
- 11:50Speaker 3: think of his name. The poor guys villified.
- 11:53Speaker 4: I saw him apologizing and saying that he didn't know.
- 11:57Speaker 3: He's been he's been vilified. Uh for that trade. It's over. Yeah,
- 12:02Speaker 3: Lakers are done. So Lebron and Luca go home. And hey,
- 12:06Speaker 3: stephen A. Smith, these people that calling cowherd picking the
- 12:15Speaker 3: Lakers to be in the championship giving credit to the thunder. None,
- 12:20Speaker 3: no credit to the Thunder, No credit to this. This
- 12:22Speaker 3: is where we're too young.
- 12:23Speaker 2: This is where we need one of the stupid buttons
- 12:25Speaker 2: that I can.
- 12:26Speaker 3: Hit yeah, the two. You know, everybody not giving the
- 12:32Speaker 3: Thunder credit. I'm not saying Thunder's gonna win at all. No,
- 12:34Speaker 3: I'm not saying that at all. But he wants it.
- 12:38Speaker 3: I think they are, but I'm not gonna quite say
- 12:41Speaker 3: it yet.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Well and hold on. So, I don't know who they're
- 12:43Speaker 2: going to run into.
- 12:44Speaker 3: The Nuggets, their Clippers, I don't like.
- 12:47Speaker 2: I know, I know the Nugget. The Nuggets have been
- 12:50Speaker 2: a pain in the ass. But even if they make
- 12:53Speaker 2: it to the championship game, I don't know who they're
- 12:56Speaker 2: going to run into. I don't know if they're going
- 12:57Speaker 2: to run into that that angry Cleveland game because you Cleveland. No, No,
- 13:02Speaker 2: I Cleveland had them during the season.
- 13:04Speaker 3: Yeah, but I I would. I I think it's gonna
- 13:07Speaker 3: be Boston Thunder. I've called that at the beginning of
- 13:09Speaker 3: the year or not beginning, but about mid year, even
- 13:13Speaker 3: before all start break, I thought those were there and
- 13:19Speaker 3: I think it's it depends on the health of of
- 13:22Speaker 3: the Thunder.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Uh.
- 13:24Speaker 3: The Cavaliers look good. They continue to surprise me. Lakers
- 13:27Speaker 3: won last night, so they they're three to two. Golden
- 13:30Speaker 3: States still got the edge and the Nuggets play tomorrow.
- 13:35Speaker 3: Night against the Clippers. Nuggets lead three games to to there,
- 13:41Speaker 3: and so that'll be the night game. Pacers, like Sean said,
- 13:43Speaker 3: already beat the Bucks for one. Gannice is gone. Is
- 13:46Speaker 3: gonna be gone for the Bucks anytime soon. Nicks and Pistons.
- 13:50Speaker 3: Pistons won last night. Nicks will play tomorrow as well.
- 13:53Speaker 3: And the Celtics, obviously, I've enjoyed that sweet the magic
- 13:57Speaker 3: magic did get one out.
- 13:58Speaker 2: I've enjoyed.
- 13:59Speaker 3: Yes, that's good, and they said that would be one
- 14:01Speaker 3: of the Pistons have gotten so much better. They're a
- 14:05Speaker 3: fun team to watch. The Knicks are one player short.
- 14:08Speaker 3: I can't figure out what they need. I don't know
- 14:11Speaker 3: what they need.
- 14:13Speaker 2: They need a leader, they need a solid, solid leader.
- 14:17Speaker 3: You know, they have a lot of scores, and maybe
- 14:20Speaker 3: you're right, but you'd like to see maybe a deep
- 14:22Speaker 3: threat on that team. I don't know. You know the Heat,
- 14:30Speaker 3: you know, give credit to Eric Spolstra, give credit to
- 14:34Speaker 3: Pat Riley, but this is the worst Heat team as
- 14:37Speaker 3: far as just giving up, just not playing up to
- 14:40Speaker 3: potential that I've seen. Let's go back to Giannis. He's gone.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Let's go back to back to the trade. You trade
- 14:48Speaker 3: Luca because you're concerned about defense, you only talk to
- 14:53Speaker 3: probably one team. You get very little in returning again,
- 14:56Speaker 3: Anthony Davison another pick. I don't think they'd I have a
- 15:00Speaker 3: first round pick.
- 15:01Speaker 2: No, you ended up giving up money and Luca as well.
- 15:08Speaker 3: That GM should be fired immediately, shouldn't last after this.
- 15:13Speaker 2: The Grizzlies hardest game was Game four.
- 15:16Speaker 3: Yah, Morant was out.
- 15:19Speaker 2: And they lost.
- 15:20Speaker 3: Now Marant did say if he would have been in,
- 15:23Speaker 3: they would have beat him. They figured the thunder out.
- 15:25Speaker 3: What he said, figured the thunder out?
- 15:28Speaker 2: Did they?
- 15:29Speaker 3: That's what he said? What he says? All right?
- 15:31Speaker 2: So Lakers lose the Rockets Buckets, the Rockets Rockets.
- 15:38Speaker 3: So Lakers, Lakers lose. Lebron and Luca the team that,
- 15:44Speaker 3: like I said earlier, that many people picked to be
- 15:46Speaker 3: in the championship game. Watch out for them. It's a
- 15:50Speaker 3: great team. Listen, young coach. They don't have they don't
- 15:54Speaker 3: have leadership.
- 15:56Speaker 2: They were fighting.
- 15:57Speaker 3: You got two big stars, know.
- 16:00Speaker 2: They had fought to even get that.
- 16:02Speaker 3: Luca and Lebron had to mesh. It just took time.
- 16:06Speaker 3: And if you just can't good for and you know
- 16:10Speaker 3: in the go Beart trade and getting rid of towns
- 16:12Speaker 3: looks better and better and better now. Like I said earlier,
- 16:15Speaker 3: they give up a lot for go beart. But I mean,
- 16:17Speaker 3: these are what teams are doing these days. They're giving
- 16:19Speaker 3: up a lot to get there.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Now.
- 16:22Speaker 3: You just can't wait around. You gotta win it now.
- 16:24Speaker 3: I mean the thunder largest free agent signing ever is who?
- 16:30Speaker 3: It's Hardenstein. He's making three years, three nine, Yeah, and
- 16:36Speaker 3: who is? He came from the Knicks. Do the Knicks
- 16:38Speaker 3: miss him? Yes, they do. They missed that interior present
- 16:41Speaker 3: they got towns. I understand that.
- 16:43Speaker 4: Here's the other issue. Here's the other issue with Oklahoma City.
- 16:46Speaker 4: You remember when they had the Big three, uh yeah,
- 16:49Speaker 4: and the white guy I forgot who his name was, the.
- 16:52Speaker 3: Dude Dan Merley.
- 16:55Speaker 4: Oh Adams Adams, And I remember Adams was like the
- 16:59Speaker 4: only guy left on that team and everything that was it.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Well, no, even even after Westbrook left Adams.
- 17:05Speaker 3: Nah, they were I think Westbrook was last. You could
- 17:09Speaker 3: be right, but he's been at Memphis. He would have
- 17:11Speaker 3: been a good pick up too, right.
- 17:13Speaker 2: So you see what Oklahoma City gave up. I didn't
- 17:16Speaker 2: how many picks they've had for how many years?
- 17:18Speaker 3: Now I think we get Miami's fifteenth this year.
- 17:22Speaker 4: We look at look at but look at how many
- 17:24Speaker 4: picks that they've had throughout to build that team to
- 17:28Speaker 4: get shot Well.
- 17:29Speaker 3: They only had to get well that No, I mean
- 17:31Speaker 3: that's the deal. They only had one bad year rebuild.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, and these guys were getting injured every so often,
- 17:41Speaker 2: and you're always bitching goddamn skinny guys chat.
- 17:47Speaker 3: Chat concerns me. But he's played well. I just I
- 17:49Speaker 3: worry about his uh longevity.
- 17:52Speaker 2: Hey, at least you know, the Pelicans and having to
- 17:54Speaker 2: shut down al Zion and they were just looking for
- 17:57Speaker 2: He had that hammy that kept him mountain. We have
- 18:00Speaker 2: fallen down on our Zion news.
- 18:03Speaker 4: I didn't know if the baby mama or the stripper
- 18:08Speaker 4: that he was messing with.
- 18:11Speaker 2: I can't keep you really can't, you really know, no,
- 18:15Speaker 2: but it's been entertaining.
- 18:16Speaker 5: Well.
- 18:16Speaker 2: We called hell.
- 18:17Speaker 4: I called Zion as a bust from the beginning. I
- 18:21Speaker 4: knew that, you know, looking at him and his.
- 18:23Speaker 3: I thought, I know this sounds bad, but I thought him.
- 18:28Speaker 2: And he was going to until that baby came along.
- 18:31Speaker 2: That was my fear, and he had to pay for that.
- 18:34Speaker 3: But it was one of those deals that you really
- 18:36Speaker 3: couldn't pass up on him, and to be honest, he
- 18:40Speaker 3: trimmed up. This is one of his.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Best years, That's what I'm saying.
- 18:43Speaker 3: Aged twenty four point seven rebounds, five assists.
- 18:47Speaker 2: There you go, but he still fell off. He's he
- 18:50Speaker 2: didn't make the full season.
- 18:51Speaker 3: No, but I think they did that on purpose.
- 18:53Speaker 2: They knew they were I wasn't no, I wasn't talking
- 18:55Speaker 2: about a Poltic even in the beginning of this. During
- 18:57Speaker 2: the season he had that hamstring and he was supposed
- 18:59Speaker 2: to come back at the All Star.
- 19:02Speaker 3: And I didn't realize that Joe Dumars was the GM there.
- 19:07Speaker 3: And they hired Troy Weaver, who they fired from Denver,
- 19:12Speaker 3: who used to be Sam Presty's assistant. And I didn't
- 19:15Speaker 3: think Troy Weaver did a bad job at Denver. Look
- 19:18Speaker 3: what they've built now, you know. They just didn't give
- 19:20Speaker 3: them enough time.
- 19:21Speaker 2: So well, they didn't. They didn't want to wait and
- 19:23Speaker 2: see the outcome exactly.
- 19:26Speaker 4: And what they saw was right then, right now, and
- 19:28Speaker 4: they didn't wait to see what.
- 19:30Speaker 2: It was going to be what it ended up becoming.
- 19:33Speaker 2: I think they got a title lot of it, didn't
- 19:35Speaker 2: they Who Denver?
- 19:38Speaker 3: No, No, no, no, no, I'm sorry, wry Detroit, Troy Troy
- 19:42Speaker 3: and and then Troy. We were they followed each other
- 19:45Speaker 3: at Detroit. What you know, I don't think they've got
- 19:52Speaker 3: the assets. I wonder if the Bucks would maybe be
- 19:56Speaker 3: honest to New Orleans would be interested that. I could
- 20:00Speaker 3: see that happening, even though it's a small market.
- 20:03Speaker 2: So what about Yiannis to the Knicks.
- 20:06Speaker 3: I could see that too. Yiannis to the Spurs would
- 20:10Speaker 3: be something else to hell.
- 20:11Speaker 2: I would like the Bulls to pull the trigger.
- 20:13Speaker 3: And yeah, Spurs head back to back. Rookie of the
- 20:15Speaker 3: Year's castle won this year? Yeah? Won it last year? Yeah? Yeah,
- 20:20Speaker 3: I won it last year.
- 20:21Speaker 4: I would like the Bulls to just pull the trigger
- 20:23Speaker 4: on something and have a team that's not.
- 20:26Speaker 3: Middle average playing game?
- 20:30Speaker 2: Did you see what that The GM said, give us
- 20:33Speaker 2: time give everybody's like, we're tired of the rebuild.
- 20:36Speaker 3: Is he still been there for a while?
- 20:37Speaker 2: Yeah, he's like he's like, we're right there, we're about
- 20:42Speaker 2: and everybody's like, we're done. We we we've been right
- 20:45Speaker 2: there for how long? Now? Getting to play exactly, getting
- 20:50Speaker 2: the playing game, getting the playing game. We want more
- 20:53Speaker 2: than just the playing game, we want Look.
- 20:55Speaker 3: At that Sean go back to that Pistons. So that
- 20:59Speaker 3: was uh yeah, okay, So the next game is at Detroit.
- 21:06Speaker 3: Detroit has Detroit hasn't won a playoff game at home
- 21:11Speaker 3: in like forever?
- 21:12Speaker 2: Well, hold on, now the Knicks did beat the Pacers here, Wow,
- 21:20Speaker 2: the Rockets beat the Rockets, and now the Knicks and
- 21:22Speaker 2: beat the Pacers? Did they just that?
- 21:24Speaker 3: Like? Now, hold on? Is that like a foreshadowing for
- 21:27Speaker 3: the that have to be the championship? That means the
- 21:30Speaker 3: Pacers would have if you get past here and beat Boston.
- 21:37Speaker 3: If that happens, we probably should screenshot that ship that
- 21:40Speaker 3: the n b A is officially rigged.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Take a snap of it right now. Just now.
- 21:49Speaker 3: What we're talking about you can't see it on TV,
- 21:51Speaker 3: is we're looking at the scores and in the schedule,
- 21:53Speaker 3: and then if Nicks beat the Pistons, Pistons beat the Nicks.
- 21:56Speaker 3: Nicks beat the Pistons, Knicks beat the Pacers. So yeah,
- 22:01Speaker 3: so there there's the.
- 22:02Speaker 2: The the it's right there where the Knicks have all
- 22:06Speaker 2: of a sudden played the Pacers. That's that is classic
- 22:11Speaker 2: classic man getting your ship together. Okay, so tune in tomorrow.
- 22:17Speaker 3: That's gonna be that that Game five, that'll be It'll
- 22:21Speaker 3: be game yeah, tomorrow be Game five. No, I'm sorry,
- 22:25Speaker 3: Games six between Nuggets and Clippers. Tomorrow nine looks like
- 22:30Speaker 3: a tn T presentation, and then we'll do T and
- 22:33Speaker 3: T earlier at six thirty and that'll be Nixon Pistons.
- 22:37Speaker 3: So all right, there's our I'm thinking I think Nuggets
- 22:43Speaker 3: close that Clippers. It's my opinion. It's gonna be Timberwolves
- 22:47Speaker 3: and Warriors, and that's gonna be the sixth seventh seed.
- 22:51Speaker 3: So the Thunder, if they can beat the Nuggets, are
- 22:55Speaker 3: gonna play the sixth seventh seed. What I mean that
- 22:58Speaker 3: everything is just looking like it's just setting.
- 23:00Speaker 2: Up perfect, gonna get past Denver fresh.
- 23:03Speaker 3: That's exactly right. But it's the four seed, uh, I
- 23:08Speaker 3: think I think I think they're gonna have that. But anyway, I.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Can't even tell you for the for the for the Boston.
- 23:15Speaker 3: If they hey don't believe. I don't believe the honest okay,
- 23:19Speaker 3: see Thunder don't believe it. I know everybody's wanting to
- 23:23Speaker 3: make this big trade even if if we don't win
- 23:26Speaker 3: it this year, because all of the picks don't believe that.
- 23:30Speaker 3: I think the Thunder come back with about the same
- 23:33Speaker 3: team next year. They do, they do, they do. They
- 23:36Speaker 3: just need to get bigger, older. And I'm not saying
- 23:37Speaker 3: they're not gonna win it this year. I'm just saying
- 23:39Speaker 3: that if they don't, don't panic and watch.
- 23:41Speaker 4: These made the playoffs for the last five years.
- 23:45Speaker 3: We had this two years down year and a half,
- 23:49Speaker 3: that's what I call it.
- 23:50Speaker 2: Well, they were there last year with yeah, were they
- 23:54Speaker 2: not there the year before?
- 23:55Speaker 3: Got sweat or they Yeah? I don't know, I'm not sure.
- 24:00Speaker 3: Just do.
- 24:06Speaker 2: So what do you think? What do you think Boston?
- 24:09Speaker 2: If Boston gets either the Pistons or the next do
- 24:12Speaker 2: you think they get past them?
- 24:15Speaker 3: Yeah, Boston wins the East?
- 24:18Speaker 2: Yeah, Boston taking them out? Yeah?
- 24:20Speaker 3: I think No, I'm the East, just the East.
- 24:22Speaker 2: Whether that's I'm saying taking not taking out either the
- 24:24Speaker 2: Pistons or the Knicks. I think they have a harder
- 24:27Speaker 2: time with the Knicks.
- 24:28Speaker 3: They do. The Knicks are more talented, and.
- 24:30Speaker 4: But I could see the Pistons slipping their way in,
- 24:35Speaker 4: slipping their way into the Boston game, into the series winning,
- 24:39Speaker 4: not winning it, no, but slipping their way in. You
- 24:44Speaker 4: jump into some NHL, see what you got going on there.
- 24:46Speaker 3: I know you the bracket, I know you do a
- 24:50Speaker 3: re replay. I'm gonna step out just to sec I'll.
- 24:54Speaker 2: Be right, so you have everybody to run down in
- 24:59Speaker 2: the Eastern.
- 25:00Speaker 4: In the Eastern Conference, we already have the game set
- 25:03Speaker 4: of the Capitals and the Hurricanes. You kick that the
- 25:09Speaker 4: Capitals one to night. They took out Montreal four to one,
- 25:15Speaker 4: won the series for to one. The Hurricanes took out
- 25:20Speaker 4: the New Jersey Devils for to one and they won
- 25:23Speaker 4: that one yesterday.
- 25:25Speaker 2: I do believe.
- 25:28Speaker 4: Panthers took out the Lightning for to one. All these
- 25:33Speaker 4: series have been I've been rather one sided.
- 25:37Speaker 2: In the East.
- 25:39Speaker 4: The only one that we're waiting on is the Senators
- 25:41Speaker 4: maple Leaves, and the maple Leagues lead three to two
- 25:45Speaker 4: in that series. I don't think that either team's going
- 25:48Speaker 4: to get past Florida Panthers. Florida Panthers is probably on
- 25:53Speaker 4: a repeat unless they run into I could see them
- 25:58Speaker 4: running back into the Hurricane or the Capitol to get knocked.
- 26:02Speaker 2: To get knocked out, but they are still the team
- 26:05Speaker 2: to beat over.
- 26:07Speaker 4: In the Western Conference, the Jets and Blues Winnipeg went
- 26:12Speaker 4: up three to two tonight, so the Game six will.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Happen in two days. I believe that's what that is.
- 26:23Speaker 4: Tomorrow should be the Dallas Stars in the Colorado Avalanche
- 26:28Speaker 4: Game six at Colorado. That has been a very fun,
- 26:31Speaker 4: interesting series. The Golden Knights Minnesota Wild has been a
- 26:36Speaker 4: fun series, but Dallas Colorado is still the series to watch.
- 26:43Speaker 4: And then we have a Game six coming up four
- 26:47Speaker 4: the Kings and Oilers, and the Oilers are surprise to
- 26:50Speaker 4: even be in there because I think when last night
- 26:53Speaker 4: looked they were toward the bottom of they were toward
- 26:57Speaker 4: the bottom of their conference until the end of the
- 26:59Speaker 4: season and they turned it on. So looking at that,
- 27:04Speaker 4: I I wanted Winnipeg Jets to come out. I want
- 27:10Speaker 4: the Winnipeg Jets to go to the the Stanley Cup
- 27:13Speaker 4: because the Winnipeg Jets lost, their team got it back
- 27:19Speaker 4: and now they are one of the best teams. They
- 27:23Speaker 4: are actually the number one team in.
- 27:25Speaker 2: All of NHL this season. They got the President's Cup.
- 27:30Speaker 2: So we are gonna wait and see who all comes
- 27:33Speaker 2: out of that. We'll have more for that next week.
- 27:37Speaker 2: I don't know what to talk about. Now, let's see
- 27:44Speaker 2: we have.
- 27:48Speaker 4: Oh, the draft, let's go to the draft. We're gonna
- 27:53Speaker 4: touched a little on that. I think we talked about
- 27:56Speaker 4: next week was gonna be the big.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Where's it doing? Yeah? You where did they go there? Yeah?
- 28:14Speaker 2: Do we have anything else besides the playoffs? Because I
- 28:16Speaker 2: was gonna go to the draft and just let's do
- 28:17Speaker 2: the drafts going to the draft.
- 28:21Speaker 3: Sorry, folks, had a pea break.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Oh I had a child break. Uh. Cousin Danny is
- 28:30Speaker 2: now in New Orleans. Billy Bowman is now in Atlanta.
- 28:35Speaker 3: In my division. I'm gonna watch them try to beat
- 28:40Speaker 3: up Baker Mayfield.
- 28:41Speaker 2: Faker Mayfield.
- 28:43Speaker 3: Oh, hell, hell.
- 28:45Speaker 2: Hell and everybody? Do you want to just do you?
- 28:49Speaker 3: I mean you want to talk about the bullshit?
- 28:52Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 28:53Speaker 3: Okay, so.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Everything. I am still to undersing articles about why did
- 29:01Speaker 2: he fall? It's not his fault, It's not this, it's that,
- 29:04Speaker 2: it's that. And I'm like, no, it's his fault. It's
- 29:07Speaker 2: literally his fault. It's him and his father's fault.
- 29:11Speaker 4: You saw the way that they treated other teams that
- 29:13Speaker 4: when they played in Colorado. You saw the way that
- 29:18Speaker 4: he did his interviews.
- 29:20Speaker 2: He did not want to go to the Combine, And
- 29:23Speaker 2: why do you think he didn't want to go to combine?
- 29:25Speaker 2: Didn't want to compete because he's going to be overthrowing
- 29:28Speaker 2: guys or he's not going to be completing the majority
- 29:31Speaker 2: of his test is and he didn't want to take
- 29:33Speaker 2: that test.
- 29:34Speaker 3: He didn't compete. Yeah, yeah, that's probably it too.
- 29:37Speaker 2: He did not want to show what his actual intelligence was.
- 29:41Speaker 3: I think we all know his intelligence and his intelligences
- 29:44Speaker 3: is just because he didn't he didn't act like an no, no, no,
- 29:48Speaker 3: it's just it's just it's about being a man and
- 29:50Speaker 3: being responsible.
- 29:50Speaker 2: But also, but there's also that that team's looked at.
- 29:54Speaker 3: Okay, he's not mobile, that's fine, but I mean.
- 29:58Speaker 4: Well he is, but but he took the sack and
- 30:00Speaker 4: that of throwing the ball away or because he didn't
- 30:02Speaker 4: want to hurt.
- 30:02Speaker 2: His passing stats. No, yeah, you're exactly what do you
- 30:06Speaker 2: think that did to the running stats for the team?
- 30:09Speaker 3: You know, I just it's it's a ship show in Colorado.
- 30:12Speaker 3: It's always going to be folks, and and you can
- 30:20Speaker 3: see it right there, I mean everything. I mean, you
- 30:23Speaker 3: got mel Kiper screaming practically having a stroke on air
- 30:26Speaker 3: because Shadar Sanders hasn't been picked. I'll make this prediction
- 30:30Speaker 3: right now, and you scoffed at me earlier. Shiloh Sanders
- 30:35Speaker 3: will have a longer career in the NFL than should.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Oh, you didn't say that.
- 30:39Speaker 3: I said, I think he's gonna be okay. I think
- 30:41Speaker 3: he's got potential.
- 30:42Speaker 2: No, No, it's because he's on the Tampa Bay.
- 30:44Speaker 3: I did not say that because he's on the back.
- 30:46Speaker 3: He's a free agent pickup. He wasn't even drafted. I
- 30:50Speaker 3: just think he's got potential. He fired his dad as
- 30:53Speaker 3: his agent, but you he did. But it's very clear
- 30:57Speaker 3: from you. It's no, it's an A plus. Buccaneers did
- 31:02Speaker 3: have an a P and they picked up Shiloh, and
- 31:05Speaker 3: that is de kid's gonna be there.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Now, he's gonna be a.
- 31:08Speaker 3: Great I didn't say great, said he's gonna have a
- 31:12Speaker 3: better career.
- 31:12Speaker 2: That's you here.
- 31:14Speaker 4: Anytime you say something, that's what I hear from you.
- 31:18Speaker 3: No, I mean, okay, so let's talk a little bit
- 31:20Speaker 3: about let's go. I mean, my my biggest draft day winner.
- 31:27Speaker 3: And you know, I really I'm still.
- 31:29Speaker 2: Sticking on the Sandars thing. I'm tired of all the news,
- 31:33Speaker 2: news ages, agencies, and.
- 31:35Speaker 3: I've stopped talking.
- 31:36Speaker 2: But no, they're trying to badger every team that didn't.
- 31:40Speaker 3: Take then why didn't take him in the top They're
- 31:44Speaker 3: just bad. He took Dylan Gabriel over Shade. Dylan Gabriel,
- 31:49Speaker 3: he's a wonderful human being and a wonderful young man.
- 31:54Speaker 3: He's not an NFL quarterback. And two rounds later you
- 31:58Speaker 3: take Shade. So that does two things for you.
- 32:02Speaker 5: GM.
- 32:03Speaker 3: It either makes you look like a dumb ass for
- 32:05Speaker 3: taking two quarterbacks, or it makes you look like a
- 32:08Speaker 3: dumb ass for picking the guy than fifth round. That
- 32:10Speaker 3: might be better than the guy and the third it's
- 32:13Speaker 3: the two options. At least, he don't look smart anywhere.
- 32:16Speaker 2: At least Quinn. He was giving up eight million dollars
- 32:19Speaker 2: to go to the Dolphins.
- 32:20Speaker 3: I have him on my notes. I thought that was
- 32:22Speaker 3: one of the biggest mistakes of all time of him
- 32:26Speaker 3: last year to the draft. Or he should have stayed
- 32:30Speaker 3: in college this year.
- 32:31Speaker 2: No, he should have went the draft last year.
- 32:33Speaker 3: I don't know. I thought he should have stayed. He
- 32:34Speaker 3: played hurt this year. You gotta gi him a little
- 32:36Speaker 3: credit for playing.
- 32:36Speaker 2: He would have had a better draft stuck last year.
- 32:38Speaker 3: I don't think so. I think, oh, from this year, yes,
- 32:42Speaker 3: but you're you're missing the potential and the money for
- 32:44Speaker 3: next year. I would have taken the money this year
- 32:47Speaker 3: and the potential. You act as like you acted like
- 32:49Speaker 3: Miami was gonna be the choice. I don't think so.
- 32:52Speaker 3: I think he could have got a better deal. I
- 32:53Speaker 3: thought a bluebloed SEC team could have got him. I
- 32:56Speaker 3: think he would even he can't go in conference. I'm sorry,
- 33:01Speaker 3: you can't go within conference in the SEC. He would
- 33:03Speaker 3: have he would have went to a Big ten an
- 33:05Speaker 3: Oregon would have been perfect. I think, I don't think.
- 33:11Speaker 3: I don't think Ohio State's gonna take him.
- 33:13Speaker 4: He would he would have went Big ten because he
- 33:16Speaker 4: would not have went a CC and he would not.
- 33:18Speaker 3: Have went Miami was the option and he would have
- 33:20Speaker 3: got the best.
- 33:21Speaker 2: Yeah, but they got fucking Lurch.
- 33:22Speaker 3: After after Quinn denied him. Lurch got that later and
- 33:27Speaker 3: then got down by the blondie.
- 33:29Speaker 2: So we stole yeah, both cars. Wasn't it just the one? Alright,
- 33:36Speaker 2: So let's go to your biggest.
- 33:37Speaker 3: No, let's well, let's let's just talk. We're gonna talk
- 33:39Speaker 3: about the biggest draft wins. I think I thought the
- 33:42Speaker 3: best teams that drafted.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Oh LA's veggest Raiders.
- 33:48Speaker 3: I have the Raiders on my list.
- 33:49Speaker 2: I really stole running back.
- 33:52Speaker 3: I really liked the Raiders because they took genty because
- 33:54Speaker 3: they had to. But I like the best.
- 33:55Speaker 2: They didn't need genty. Don't they have a running back?
- 33:57Speaker 3: No one, No, they don't they need one, I promise.
- 34:01Speaker 3: I think it was the I think it was the
- 34:03Speaker 3: guy that played at the Vikings two years ago that
- 34:06Speaker 3: lost me my fantasy. Nah, that's not his name, but
- 34:10Speaker 3: it's somewhere like that. It's it's it's it's bad, it's bad.
- 34:15Speaker 3: So so look it's Zach would but he would be
- 34:20Speaker 3: the two years ago minutes Ashton Ason. Uh just I'm
- 34:24Speaker 3: not thinking of the right name, and I don't even
- 34:27Speaker 3: know if he's on that team anymore. But no, I
- 34:31Speaker 3: thought the Raiders had a good pick because of the
- 34:32Speaker 3: aston genty. But I thought the I thought the Bills
- 34:36Speaker 3: pick up of I thought the Raiders pick up of Beck.
- 34:42Speaker 3: Excuse me from TCU. You know they kind of Alex
- 34:46Speaker 3: marsh mishma No, mishmah Marshama Madison. It's Matt Madison Madison. Yes,
- 34:53Speaker 3: he was there last year. This is your new roster
- 34:55Speaker 3: right here.
- 34:55Speaker 2: But they got Rahiem Mostert.
- 34:57Speaker 3: What's he done nothing and sincerely, mister McCormick, you're not
- 35:03Speaker 3: any good either. But he's a youngster, so raiders. Good draft,
- 35:11Speaker 3: why gentie and back for sure? I thought another good
- 35:14Speaker 3: pick if you want to go back to the list
- 35:16Speaker 3: I thought, I thought. I thought the oh no, the
- 35:21Speaker 3: Porter guy I thought was pretty good too. And then
- 35:24Speaker 3: cam Miller was a pick up. But the Linnenburg kid
- 35:26Speaker 3: for a seven tern pick at this it was not
- 35:28Speaker 3: good and.
- 35:28Speaker 4: Change look at their fourth their fourth and beginning of
- 35:31Speaker 4: sixth round, it's all sec guys.
- 35:33Speaker 3: Well not yeah, not only that, you look at the position.
- 35:36Speaker 3: They took a running back because they needed it. They
- 35:38Speaker 3: need a wide receiver obviously because they're Bowers is their
- 35:41Speaker 3: number one receiver. They're they're tied end. But then they
- 35:44Speaker 3: go they did take a corner, but then they do
- 35:47Speaker 3: some offensive tackle. Who's their quarterback?
- 35:51Speaker 2: Oh genu?
- 35:53Speaker 3: Okay, so older guy, you pick some new tack and
- 35:55Speaker 3: then you work on the defense and you give him,
- 35:57Speaker 3: you give him some some help.
- 35:59Speaker 4: A wide receiver can say, I didn't pick up North
- 36:01Speaker 4: Dakota States quarterback, So you got a backup right there?
- 36:06Speaker 2: Didn't he just win another title.
- 36:08Speaker 3: They won this year?
- 36:09Speaker 2: Or not?
- 36:09Speaker 3: It was either North Dakota State or South We were
- 36:11Speaker 3: watching that game.
- 36:13Speaker 2: We watched that game.
- 36:14Speaker 3: All right, let's flip it over to the Bears. I
- 36:17Speaker 3: like the Bears.
- 36:20Speaker 2: Except for the first round pick. What in the hold
- 36:22Speaker 2: on on?
- 36:22Speaker 3: That hold on? Their second round pick made up the
- 36:25Speaker 3: difference to find the Bears because I did my notes
- 36:28Speaker 3: as far as who I thought, and I'm you know,
- 36:31Speaker 3: some of these people are just giving all kinds of
- 36:34Speaker 3: kudos to a bunch of teams that don't deserve it.
- 36:36Speaker 2: To be honest, Oh, I saw a lot of that,
- 36:38Speaker 2: and but did not understand what.
- 36:39Speaker 3: But no, I thought the Bears. I thought the Bears.
- 36:41Speaker 3: Now I thought they should have took They took Loveland
- 36:44Speaker 3: over Warren. Loveland, they say is a better multi where
- 36:48Speaker 3: Warren's more of a passer not a run blocker. The
- 36:52Speaker 3: Colston Loveland was picked at tight end. Did not really
- 36:55Speaker 3: care for that. However, the Luther Burden is I, in
- 37:00Speaker 3: my opinion, going to be a breakout wide rein that
- 37:05Speaker 3: he fail to uh, I think it was thirty ninth
- 37:08Speaker 3: would be with that overall, his seventh pick in the
- 37:10Speaker 3: second round wide receiver from Missouri. They have to remember
- 37:14Speaker 3: he was one of the best wide receivers won the
- 37:16Speaker 3: Walter or one whatever. The Blitnikoff one year was either.
- 37:19Speaker 3: If he didn't win it, he was nominated. His quarterback
- 37:21Speaker 3: was trash at Missouri, just trash. He was the only
- 37:25Speaker 3: wide receiver there, so he was covered all the time.
- 37:29Speaker 3: He's gonna be one of the best pickups. He's gonna
- 37:31Speaker 3: be one of the best pickups. And then what the
- 37:33Speaker 3: Bears done is they got two offensive tackles, even though
- 37:37Speaker 3: they improved their offensive line already. Yeah, taking and then
- 37:42Speaker 3: and then and then Turner and then and I like
- 37:45Speaker 3: the Turner pick. Even though text a name is quiet.
- 37:48Speaker 3: He's got some talent. All right, Let's move on. So
- 37:50Speaker 3: I like the Bears. Also, Cardinals.
- 37:54Speaker 2: Look at somebody on the Bears real quick. I need
- 37:56Speaker 2: to see how many tight ends they have one roster.
- 38:00Speaker 3: I don't think they've got six eight seven seven eight,
- 38:05Speaker 3: I told you, oh yeah, but no, none of them's good.
- 38:08Speaker 2: We've got Cole Combt. They're all cut by Steven Carlson,
- 38:13Speaker 2: Reggie Brown, Jould and Murray Durham Smith. I think we
- 38:20Speaker 2: just got him or something. Yeah, we That's what I
- 38:26Speaker 2: was like, Where are we? Where are we drafting a
- 38:28Speaker 2: tight end in the first round. Let's go h.
- 38:35Speaker 3: Whatever next I've got. I like the Super Bowl teams.
- 38:40Speaker 3: I thought their draft picks were great. We could do
- 38:43Speaker 3: that one too, let's since they did eight nine last year.
- 38:49Speaker 3: Loved the Nolan pick. They got Will Johnson to fall
- 38:52Speaker 3: all the way down to the almost mid second because
- 38:56Speaker 3: he had an injury. The Birch kid is underrated from Oregon,
- 39:00Speaker 3: I promise you.
- 39:02Speaker 4: And they knew that they had a decent offense, and
- 39:04Speaker 4: they went all d except for Hayden Connor.
- 39:08Speaker 3: Yes, who was just off Yes, offensive guarden, offensive guard.
- 39:14Speaker 2: No.
- 39:14Speaker 3: I really I really liked Arizona. I really did. I
- 39:17Speaker 3: thought the Nolan pick was good for the value. I
- 39:19Speaker 3: mean they picked sixteenth, they were eight nine, so it
- 39:21Speaker 3: wasn't like it was anything that they could jump up
- 39:24Speaker 3: and get a bunch of people or just over you know,
- 39:27Speaker 3: over do it.
- 39:29Speaker 2: Yeah, it would it have been worth it to trade
- 39:32Speaker 2: all that just to I mean, you have a pick
- 39:35Speaker 2: every round, and you're in the same spot every round,
- 39:38Speaker 2: so just take I.
- 39:39Speaker 3: Just I think their first two picks are gonna be stars.
- 39:41Speaker 3: I think they're gonna be people that's gonna be starting
- 39:42Speaker 3: in the NFL in five to seven years.
- 39:44Speaker 2: Still, I think jold And is going to be there too. Yeah.
- 39:48Speaker 2: I liked watching him play in Oregon. I mean he
- 39:53Speaker 2: was not bad, No, not at all. All right.
- 39:56Speaker 3: Also I liked h as much as I hate to
- 40:01Speaker 3: say it. Well, let's let's go the Giants. Yeah, let's
- 40:05Speaker 3: go the Giants.
- 40:06Speaker 2: I like the Giants.
- 40:07Speaker 3: Giants I did, and I tell you why. There's one
- 40:10Speaker 3: one part I didn't like, and i'll I do. Carter's
- 40:13Speaker 3: the best if and I don't think it's a big if.
- 40:17Speaker 3: I think it's a tiny if. If that little foot
- 40:19Speaker 3: injury of his is okay, He's the best pick in
- 40:22Speaker 3: the draft, second best pick in the draft, second best.
- 40:25Speaker 3: I'll tell you my first pick is later, he's the
- 40:27Speaker 3: second best pick in the draft. I thought they reached
- 40:30Speaker 3: for Dart, but they needed a quarterback. Problem is problem
- 40:38Speaker 3: is you bring in Russell Wilson, and now you if
- 40:43Speaker 3: they don't and you got what jamis is, jameis win.
- 40:47Speaker 3: If them two don't perform, isn't it Russell Wilson that's
- 40:51Speaker 3: at the Giants. Isn't that their starter? I'm almost google
- 40:55Speaker 3: at a. I'm gonna make sure so as you talk.
- 40:58Speaker 2: About that, they go up my camp.
- 41:00Speaker 3: Scataboo, that that I thought is a huge pick. Forget Yeah,
- 41:08Speaker 3: he's getting cut or they're going to trade Winston. That's
- 41:11Speaker 3: allegedly either one of the two. But no, I thought
- 41:15Speaker 3: I thought had the chance to take.
- 41:18Speaker 2: I thought I.
- 41:18Speaker 3: Thought Scataboo was a a great pick. I think he's
- 41:21Speaker 3: and I love but.
- 41:22Speaker 2: He's needing a running back and Scataboo was right there.
- 41:25Speaker 3: I loved it. That's and I think that's what made me.
- 41:29Speaker 3: I didn't like the Dart deal so much. But Abdul
- 41:33Speaker 3: Carter is the best defensive player in the draft, and
- 41:37Speaker 3: the Scataboo is a very overrated or under running back.
- 41:43Speaker 4: He's going to be coming out as Peyton Hillis you
- 41:44Speaker 4: realize that kind of No, did Peyton Hills?
- 41:48Speaker 2: I'm trying to remember it now. Did he's start in
- 41:50Speaker 2: Cleveland or yeah?
- 41:52Speaker 3: I think so?
- 41:54Speaker 2: Or did he go from Cleveland?
- 41:58Speaker 3: Either way? A couple of honorable mentions. I thought the
- 42:01Speaker 3: Ravens had a good draft. Uh, if you want to
- 42:05Speaker 3: look at I thought to the thought, I thought Buffalo
- 42:09Speaker 3: did Okay. I love the Harrison pick.
- 42:12Speaker 2: Buffalo picked up Buffalo picked up some pieces that they needed.
- 42:15Speaker 3: Now, the Harrison pick was Yeah, they went. They went cornerback,
- 42:19Speaker 3: a lot of defensive back, in offensive tackle.
- 42:22Speaker 2: I cheered when I saw that Tyler Loop had been
- 42:26Speaker 2: I'd been drafted.
- 42:27Speaker 3: I thought that was a little high though. That was
- 42:30Speaker 3: the one pick I thought was kind of down.
- 42:31Speaker 2: And they had like five picks of the sixth. I know,
- 42:35Speaker 2: what's going to do?
- 42:35Speaker 3: What you need to hate kickers?
- 42:37Speaker 2: Anyways, I yeah, what did they They went? Mostly defense,
- 42:44Speaker 2: didn't they?
- 42:45Speaker 3: Of course? Local? Let's go to I thought the Eagles,
- 42:49Speaker 3: Uh done great? And I thought, uh, Kansas City done great.
- 42:52Speaker 3: That's why they're still in the I mean, that's why
- 42:54Speaker 3: they're in the thick of the things. I mean g Campbell, Uh,
- 42:59Speaker 3: I thought Tampa would take him because that.
- 43:05Speaker 2: I did.
- 43:06Speaker 3: But but I secretly liked the column Accord pick. Thought
- 43:10Speaker 3: he'd performed really well.
- 43:11Speaker 2: I did too, getting but.
- 43:15Speaker 3: Jihon and ty Robinson defensive tackle from Nebraska I liked,
- 43:20Speaker 3: and Colm Accord that was good picks. That was good picks.
- 43:24Speaker 3: Texas guy that you generally saw. So I don't even
- 43:26Speaker 3: talk about them. Then we got uh. I thought, uh,
- 43:31Speaker 3: Dallas stretched on a lot of their picks.
- 43:33Speaker 2: I thought, let's look Dallas.
- 43:35Speaker 3: I mean Booker's okay, he was a guard from Alabama,
- 43:38Speaker 3: but that was a twelfth pick. Probably could have traded
- 43:40Speaker 3: down and got somebody better or no, got him later.
- 43:44Speaker 2: Got multiple picks.
- 43:45Speaker 3: Well, no, you could have got Booker at twenty or whatever.
- 43:49Speaker 3: Jayden Blue is not that great of a running back,
- 43:53Speaker 3: and that was that was kind of what stuck out
- 43:56Speaker 3: to me.
- 43:59Speaker 2: Let's see, that took a my Cornelius Morgan the offensive
- 44:05Speaker 2: tackle in the sixth the uh, I don't think he's
- 44:10Speaker 2: gonna end up.
- 44:10Speaker 3: Matt Golden got first wide receiver for Green Bay. They
- 44:14Speaker 3: got picked in forever. I like Green Bays too, because
- 44:17Speaker 3: I thought the Belton kid, you know, you look at
- 44:19Speaker 3: his tape. I watched a lot of that just as
- 44:22Speaker 3: possible second or third round picks. The Belton kid from
- 44:25Speaker 3: NC State looked pretty good and we watched we did well,
- 44:28Speaker 3: no watch highlights of his tapes. And then Colin Oliver,
- 44:30Speaker 3: we watched him in Oclohma State. He was fairly decent.
- 44:33Speaker 3: I think he could be one of those scrappy NFL
- 44:36Speaker 3: guys that could last on a team. I liked Houston.
- 44:40Speaker 3: They took wide. You know, Iowa State had two good
- 44:44Speaker 3: wide receivers. They took him both. They got them both,
- 44:47Speaker 3: which was crazy. He got it thirty four and seventy
- 44:49Speaker 3: nine Higgins. And they needed wide receivers because everybody, I
- 44:54Speaker 3: mean they got did has what's his face got signed
- 44:57Speaker 3: yet wide receive that used to play for the Bills.
- 45:02Speaker 3: And then he went to the Texans. And I think
- 45:04Speaker 3: he's still a food agent. No, he's available to still available.
- 45:10Speaker 3: His brother, yes, his Diggs Diggs. I think he's still
- 45:13Speaker 3: I think he's still not Sid. So Diggs is out
- 45:16Speaker 3: at Houston. And then was it Nico or was it Tank? No, Tank,
- 45:20Speaker 3: Dale's the one that's had the horrible legg injury. So
- 45:23Speaker 3: they took the two wide receivers. They drafted Graham Mertz
- 45:27Speaker 3: from Florida. Guys, quit drafting stupid quarterbacks. God, I just
- 45:31Speaker 3: I don't get it. I didn't get it.
- 45:33Speaker 2: I didn't understand that anything.
- 45:35Speaker 3: Okay, So we're talking about the Chiefs. I thought the Chiefs,
- 45:38Speaker 3: I mean Josh Simmons, I thought the best, one of
- 45:41Speaker 3: the best linemen in the whole draft fell to thirty.
- 45:43Speaker 2: Two to them. I don't even know what.
- 45:45Speaker 3: I don't even know what was.
- 45:46Speaker 2: Going on there talking about quin Shawn Jenkins and the
- 45:50Speaker 2: other kid from Ohio State. They went back to back.
- 45:54Speaker 3: Yes, the running backs, Yes, the running backs. Well, but
- 45:59Speaker 3: I don't think it was back to back. I think
- 46:00Speaker 3: it was in the first round.
- 46:02Speaker 2: I could know it wasn't in the first round.
- 46:04Speaker 3: Was it not about the second Oh yeah, it was
- 46:09Speaker 3: running back, so yeah, it would have been later.
- 46:11Speaker 2: They went. I hate when this thing pops down there.
- 46:17Speaker 2: There you go, fourth round. It was the second round,
- 46:23Speaker 2: back to back.
- 46:29Speaker 4: Hold on, I'm just I gotta there's a lot of
- 46:31Speaker 4: bull butter to go through here.
- 46:33Speaker 3: And then, you know, I thought that yeah, okay, he
- 46:35Speaker 3: said five picks. I thought they did. Okay, o good nor.
- 46:38Speaker 2: They almost didn't go back to They almost went back
- 46:40Speaker 2: to back. But Travon was picked up. The Travion was
- 46:44Speaker 2: picked up by uh.
- 46:48Speaker 3: That's they got face his name.
- 47:01Speaker 2: Let me try to find free agents here.
- 47:05Speaker 3: Available they you know, New England, I kind of had
- 47:09Speaker 3: a pretty good draft themselves.
- 47:15Speaker 2: Free agent rakings. Okay, here we go.
- 47:22Speaker 3: I'm not cleve. I thought I thought New Orleans.
- 47:24Speaker 2: Stretched for Timash's still in there. For what this is
- 47:30Speaker 2: available free agents?
- 47:32Speaker 3: He is signed. They resigned it.
- 47:33Speaker 2: That's what I said.
- 47:36Speaker 3: I was looking for available free let's get to the
- 47:39Speaker 3: cream of the crop draft. I thought two teams had
- 47:41Speaker 3: the best draft. Let's go Tampa Bay.
- 47:44Speaker 2: You're gonna get smacked right in your stupid face.
- 47:46Speaker 3: Well, think about it. Okay, let's talk about Tampa.
- 47:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm sure you want to talk about Tampa. And
- 47:51Speaker 2: they're amazingly.
- 47:53Speaker 3: Okay, So they took Okay. So their second pick of
- 47:56Speaker 3: fifty three is Benja Morrison, Notre Dame. Without a hip injury,
- 47:59Speaker 3: he would have been top fifteen. Let's just say it
- 48:01Speaker 3: that way. And Mika Abuku, I don't I don't know
- 48:04Speaker 3: why everyone just shut on him. A good wide receiver,
- 48:08Speaker 3: a second and a lot of records behind Harrison at
- 48:12Speaker 3: Ohio State.
- 48:14Speaker 2: Uh.
- 48:15Speaker 3: And then you've got the David Walker and the Elijah
- 48:20Speaker 3: Roberts Moll schools.
- 48:22Speaker 2: Hold on, gentleman, if you haven't realized, this is Kenny's
- 48:25Speaker 2: cope and the only way that he can make himself
- 48:27Speaker 2: feel better.
- 48:28Speaker 3: Bucky Irvin last year, let me tell you. I'm just
- 48:31Speaker 3: telling you. I'm just telling you. I mean, we had
- 48:34Speaker 3: a hell of a draft. H the guy, the guy
- 48:38Speaker 3: picks up like crazy, and I think the edge rushers
- 48:41Speaker 3: are going to be great. You watched David Walker from
- 48:43Speaker 3: Central Arkansas. No one's talking about him, young guy didn't
- 48:45Speaker 3: play a lot of talent, and Elijah Roberts from from SMU.
- 48:49Speaker 3: But I thought who had the best draft in my
- 48:52Speaker 3: opinion was the Jaguars. And I don't like to say
- 48:56Speaker 3: it because because I think he likes to say it. No,
- 49:00Speaker 3: I just think I think. I don't like giving up
- 49:03Speaker 3: a first round pick when I think you're gonna be
- 49:05Speaker 3: kind of shitty. And I understand why Cleveland done it,
- 49:10Speaker 3: because it's tempting. I don't think about it. They're gonna
- 49:14Speaker 3: be pretty shitty, and the draft next year way better talent.
- 49:20Speaker 2: Wise, oh yeah, way better.
- 49:23Speaker 3: And a lot better quarterbacks, even though Cleveland decided to
- 49:27Speaker 3: waste two picks on two quarterbacks this year. But let's
- 49:29Speaker 3: get let's let's give our props to Jacksonville for first.
- 49:33Speaker 3: Let's first, let's first talk about that.
- 49:34Speaker 4: Well, they kept your girlfriend so not a fan, so
- 49:40Speaker 4: she is, She's still got a job.
- 49:43Speaker 3: And Travis Hunter, Travis Hunters is the best player on
- 49:46Speaker 3: the draft, hands down, no doubt. Then they went and
- 49:52Speaker 3: they lost their second round pick, of course, and then
- 49:55Speaker 3: they picked up the Jack Kaiser from Notre Dame.
- 49:58Speaker 2: I liked.
- 49:58Speaker 3: I liked the cloud pick from Notre Dame. And then
- 50:02Speaker 3: they got some offensive lineman down the road. I just gosh,
- 50:10Speaker 3: I just you know, Ransaw is okay.
- 50:13Speaker 2: So I did forget something about the free agency of
- 50:16Speaker 2: this year. Nick Chubb still.
- 50:18Speaker 3: Available him and his legs one leg.
- 50:22Speaker 4: Well, Bears could get either one of these JK. Dobbins
- 50:25Speaker 4: or Chubb to have that power back.
- 50:28Speaker 3: They were, who's your running back now.
- 50:31Speaker 2: DeAndre Swift?
- 50:32Speaker 3: Oh yeah, differently, you didn't draft a running nick All.
- 50:35Speaker 4: We took a drunning back in the seventh round out.
- 50:38Speaker 3: Of she took somebody anyway.
- 50:42Speaker 2: We took somebody. But he is.
- 50:47Speaker 3: Ruggers a trade too, except they traded up for him.
- 50:54Speaker 2: Oh no, I think it was a trade from earlier.
- 50:59Speaker 2: It's a trade from Cincinnati. I don't remember trading seventh
- 51:02Speaker 2: rounds for seventh Well, there was a lot so there.
- 51:06Speaker 2: If you looked at the.
- 51:08Speaker 3: Sean, go back to that, go back to the players.
- 51:12Speaker 2: There was a massive There was a massive trade there
- 51:15Speaker 2: that Chicago was involved in.
- 51:17Speaker 3: So go back to to the draft order. Who got picked?
- 51:20Speaker 2: This is the draft order?
- 51:22Speaker 3: No, I'm sorry, just the not there. You go whatever
- 51:27Speaker 3: the first year you wouldn't earlier.
- 51:29Speaker 2: Well, then what you said, you go to the first round,
- 51:33Speaker 2: So hmmm, I think there was a record defensive tackles
- 51:41Speaker 2: taken in.
- 51:41Speaker 3: This got the Jets stretched.
- 51:46Speaker 4: There was a record defensive tackles taken in this In
- 51:48Speaker 4: this draft alone, what.
- 51:49Speaker 3: Is that deal with picking offensive lineman in the first
- 51:52Speaker 3: five picks?
- 51:53Speaker 2: A lot of the guys that you're taking are the
- 51:55Speaker 2: standout offensive linemen that that protected their quarterback. You're looking
- 51:58Speaker 2: at their metrics.
- 51:59Speaker 3: Well they well, you're exactly right, and you think.
- 52:01Speaker 2: About that's what you think about?
- 52:03Speaker 3: Who picks them too? Is who's last year? Drake May?
- 52:06Speaker 3: Last year? You got a new quarterback in the Jets?
- 52:11Speaker 3: Who is the new coach? Who's the quarterback the Jets? Oh?
- 52:15Speaker 2: The Jets? Justin Fields? No?
- 52:19Speaker 3: Yes, yes, they got justin Fields.
- 52:24Speaker 2: So you're gonna have to have a revamped offensive line
- 52:27Speaker 2: for him because he's gonna be running all over the place.
- 52:30Speaker 2: Carson or Derek Carr. I've heard he may may not
- 52:33Speaker 2: be coming back.
- 52:34Speaker 3: He's not. That's why I ended up drafting a quarterback.
- 52:37Speaker 3: So who they get late later?
- 52:41Speaker 2: But you still got Old what's his nuts there? Hey?
- 52:44Speaker 2: Ol Bin Old Rattler?
- 52:45Speaker 3: Well, they're gonna they're gonna bank on.
- 52:47Speaker 2: That so offensive line. I guess sure they needed it.
- 52:58Speaker 2: You look at the forty nine ers there made up
- 53:00Speaker 2: for that the loss of their young guys that they
- 53:02Speaker 2: let go.
- 53:03Speaker 3: Yeah, but I thought their draft was kind of stupid.
- 53:06Speaker 3: They were just making drafted, just had a lot of
- 53:09Speaker 3: picks because I think that's the pensatory picks too, that
- 53:12Speaker 3: they were drafting all defense.
- 53:13Speaker 2: I didn't look at I didn't see any of the.
- 53:19Speaker 3: All right free agents let's talk about uh obviously, yeah,
- 53:28Speaker 3: go back down though. Look who's resigned there or who
- 53:31Speaker 3: signed uh two new deals? Of course Aaron Jones resigned
- 53:35Speaker 3: which went to the Steelers, is to the Vikings.
- 53:42Speaker 2: Took a second round tender to.
- 53:44Speaker 3: Go to the Steelers, like the Na Harris to the Chargers.
- 53:48Speaker 3: Zach always shoot on him as a Steelers fan, but
- 53:50Speaker 3: I think he's really good.
- 53:52Speaker 2: Who Harris?
- 53:54Speaker 3: Yeah, back with the.
- 53:56Speaker 2: Bengal latitude, but he was He was beat up a
- 53:59Speaker 2: lot too. You remember that that's.
- 54:02Speaker 3: All they do. They can't throw the ball, and they
- 54:03Speaker 3: still don't have a quarterback on Aaron Rodgers. When you
- 54:05Speaker 3: gonna sign with them.
- 54:07Speaker 2: Ric o'dodell is uh he he left, well, he left
- 54:12Speaker 2: left to go to the Panthers.
- 54:13Speaker 3: She'll Shuba's back up, Suba Hubbard. Don't sleep on him,
- 54:20Speaker 3: fantasy draft people.
- 54:21Speaker 4: Kyle Joesski, you remember he got cut and then they
- 54:23Speaker 4: resigned him for two years eight.
- 54:25Speaker 3: Mil Hey, we've already called this though. Listen to our
- 54:30Speaker 3: pod maybe episode I don't know one through one hundred
- 54:33Speaker 3: and eighteen. I said, the forty nine ers are done, done,
- 54:38Speaker 3: done done, and they haven't even signed their all star quarterback.
- 54:42Speaker 2: There's your guy, Alexander Madison sign.
- 54:45Speaker 3: With the Dolphins. They didn't even give money because it's
- 54:47Speaker 3: chump change. It's like he didn't get in no money.
- 54:50Speaker 3: He don't get any icy performs. So out of this,
- 54:56Speaker 3: Elijah Moore just resigned to somebody.
- 54:58Speaker 2: Today, Diggs went to the Patriots.
- 55:08Speaker 3: Oh did he? That's right, that's right side a huge
- 55:12Speaker 3: contract to give us to be the star, to be this. Oh,
- 55:18Speaker 3: Elijah Wore sign with the Bills today? You stay okay? Oh?
- 55:21Speaker 3: On a fun fact on the college level, Benny Wildy
- 55:23Speaker 3: got fired parted ways with USC as their conditioning strength coach.
- 55:30Speaker 3: That means USC must getting serious about getting better.
- 55:33Speaker 2: You mean firing? Where's Mercedes Lewis still out there.
- 55:41Speaker 3: Why did you name your kid after a car?
- 55:43Speaker 2: If you're a male, you never seen the girl's name Portia.
- 55:46Speaker 3: I'm just saying, if you're a male, just what I said.
- 55:50Speaker 3: I thought that Tyler Lockett pickup was big for the Titan,
- 55:55Speaker 3: especially with the young quarterback. But I didn't get to
- 55:56Speaker 3: talk about cam Ward. I don't like the pick at all.
- 56:00Speaker 2: But he's the best.
- 56:03Speaker 3: He's the best base and coached by ben arkbuckle Our.
- 56:09Speaker 3: All right, anything else you got.
- 56:12Speaker 2: Not really, We just, like I said, this is just
- 56:14Speaker 2: an overview. We'll get We ended up getting into.
- 56:17Speaker 3: The draft, hey, and we'll we'll talk a little bit
- 56:20Speaker 3: about more free agency draft next week.
- 56:22Speaker 2: Well, you know, Aaron Rodgers still available. They don't know
- 56:25Speaker 2: where he's going.
- 56:26Speaker 3: He's going to Steelers or retiring. That's it.
- 56:30Speaker 2: They have no idea. Danny Jones, he's at the cults
- 56:34Speaker 2: Cooper Rush.
- 56:35Speaker 3: Did we talk about how bad the fucking Steeler or
- 56:38Speaker 3: the Browns are or their idiots? And we mentioned that
- 56:40Speaker 3: we've already talked about that drafted quarterback in the third draft.
- 56:42Speaker 3: In the fifth, oh Wait traded for Kenny Pickett and
- 56:46Speaker 3: signed Joe Flacco. I don't get it. I don't. I
- 56:53Speaker 3: don't know what they're doing. So essentially you pictured her
- 56:56Speaker 3: to get us, to get some attention or whatever you've wasted.
- 57:00Speaker 3: Read an article that fire everyone in Cleveland should be
- 57:04Speaker 3: for the owners.
- 57:05Speaker 2: I said that Sporting News, I think as was that
- 57:07Speaker 2: said that the shooter is pretty much already cut.
- 57:12Speaker 3: Yeah, so why pick him?
- 57:13Speaker 2: I don't. I didn't.
- 57:15Speaker 3: That's what I told you earlier. You can't win. You
- 57:17Speaker 3: cannot win your third string quarterback's average. Then you go
- 57:21Speaker 3: and you pick a guy two picks later, you're gonna
- 57:23Speaker 3: start him over your fifth third and you'll be like,
- 57:26Speaker 3: well he just outperformed bullshit. You look wrong there, and
- 57:29Speaker 3: you're gonna cut Gabriel, which take them the third round.
- 57:33Speaker 2: And as you're setting on you're setting on Flacco. Flacco starts,
- 57:38Speaker 2: but you're gonna set on him during this is preseason.
- 57:41Speaker 3: And you trade Kenny Pickett.
- 57:43Speaker 4: Kenny Pickett's a viable back up because remember he's got
- 57:47Speaker 4: a Super Bowl ring.
- 57:47Speaker 3: Now, yeah, but he's got he's probably higher paid than
- 57:50Speaker 3: the rookie he is.
- 57:51Speaker 4: And then you got the two rookies that are gonna
- 57:53Speaker 4: be battling it out. They're gonna play the majority of
- 57:57Speaker 4: the preseason games.
- 57:59Speaker 3: Should be last watch every cland.
- 58:05Speaker 2: Just to see how a baut that are. But yeah,
- 58:08Speaker 2: I'm still pissed off the gent went to the Raiders.
- 58:12Speaker 3: Yeah, Sean text me, He's like, they took my running
- 58:13Speaker 3: back and I was like, he wouldn't fall into you guys.
- 58:16Speaker 2: He should have. He was supposed to it.
- 58:17Speaker 4: Apparently the Bears did work on, uh, work on a
- 58:21Speaker 4: trade that just never made it.
- 58:23Speaker 3: God, what trade did I hear about? That was huge?
- 58:28Speaker 3: It was with the I think it was with Cleveland
- 58:37Speaker 3: and somebody couldn't get it done. It was kind of
- 58:39Speaker 3: a big team because they wanted Hunter too, And I'm
- 58:41Speaker 3: thinking you went to the Jacks. I can't believe Jacks
- 58:44Speaker 3: pulled it off. But the Jags give up. I said
- 58:47Speaker 3: they had one of the best drafts because they got
- 58:48Speaker 3: the best player. But they gave up a lot to
- 58:51Speaker 3: get the best player. So this guy better perform and
- 58:56Speaker 3: you better be able to resign him in a second contract,
- 58:58Speaker 3: and then it'll be worth a bat this first round
- 59:01Speaker 3: next year, and then you give up the fifth, and
- 59:03Speaker 3: then you go to this give up the second this year.
- 59:06Speaker 2: Too as well.
- 59:07Speaker 3: So all right, all right, then welcome back, Go Thunder.
- 59:14Speaker 3: We'll see you next week. Will probably be a couple
- 59:16Speaker 3: of games into the Thunder series. Next week, they'll be
- 59:18Speaker 3: well rested. I'm gonna be playing probably, in my prediction,
- 59:22Speaker 3: the Nuggets. We'll know more tomorrow. But thanks for joining
- 59:26Speaker 3: us this episode. We'll see you next un Monday. I'm
- 59:31Speaker 3: hoping on Monday or Tuesday.
- 59:34Speaker 2: I'm gonna go out of your schedule because because.
- 59:36Speaker 3: It's Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday now, so I'm hoping maybe Monday
- 59:40Speaker 3: next week. So thank you all for joining us.

- 1:00:00Speaker 2: There may have men atended and en
