- 0:08Speaker 1: Sable advice. Sure love. Welcome to the Naughty but Night Show.
- 0:16Speaker 1: It's Wednesday, which means our friend Donnie Meacham from Okay
- 0:19Speaker 1: magazine dot com joins ours. Donny, are you there, hello,
- 0:24Speaker 1: lower level? It is Wednesday and off. The weather lately
- 0:28Speaker 1: has been so beautiful. Spring has finally spraul. It really does,
- 0:33Speaker 1: doesn't It feels great New York too. It's lovely. The
- 0:36Speaker 1: buds are coming up. People are starting to go out carefully.
- 0:39Speaker 1: We're still being safe. It's really frustrate and I'd love
- 0:42Speaker 1: to meet you tonight Donnie for a drink up Bottino,
- 0:45Speaker 1: But we gotta wait. Just a few more weeks, a
- 0:48Speaker 1: few more months will be there. Hey, my friend, let's
- 0:50Speaker 1: jump into the show. What time is it? It is time?
- 0:55Speaker 1: Thank you very much, big exclusive at the top of
- 0:58Speaker 1: the shower. Our on a grand as now the highest
- 1:02Speaker 1: paid coach ever to be on the Voice. Let me
- 1:05Speaker 1: give you all the dish. So Arianna surprised everybody when
- 1:10Speaker 1: she announced she was joining The Voice as a coach.
- 1:13Speaker 1: She's going to be joining Black Shelton, John Legend, and
- 1:17Speaker 1: Kelly Clarkson for season twenty one. She said that she's
- 1:20Speaker 1: honored and excited to be joining the Voice family. She's
- 1:23Speaker 1: been a huge fan of the show for a very
- 1:25Speaker 1: long time and she can't wait to go head to
- 1:28Speaker 1: head with these incredible coaches and get to meet, develop
- 1:33Speaker 1: and know some new artists. Her fans are beyond excited.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Twitter has really melted down. She's going to be replacing
- 1:41Speaker 1: Nick Jonas. This is a huge get for the show
- 1:44Speaker 1: and NBC. Let me just give you a few statistics
- 1:47Speaker 1: here just so that you figure out how big Ariana is.
- 1:50Speaker 1: On Spotify. She's the most streamed artist of the decade.
- 1:56Speaker 1: She has eighty two million followers on Twitter, to which,
- 2:00Speaker 1: just to give you a comparison, is almost double Blake
- 2:05Speaker 1: John and Kelly come bind. My sources are telling me
- 2:09Speaker 1: she's making the most money of anybody on the show.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Kelly at the moment makes the most. She makes about
- 2:15Speaker 1: fifteen million dollars. They wanted to get her on the show,
- 2:19Speaker 1: particularly when American Idol was coming back very smart. Blake
- 2:23Speaker 1: Shelton earns around thirteen million dollars. Adam Levine earned about
- 2:27Speaker 1: the same. Remember when Miley Cyrus was on the show,
- 2:29Speaker 1: she got about thirty million dollars. To my sources tell
- 2:33Speaker 1: me that They don't know the specific amount, but they
- 2:37Speaker 1: believe that Ariana Grande could be getting twenty to twenty
- 2:41Speaker 1: five million dollars a season, which puts her on par
- 2:47Speaker 1: with what Katie Perry's getting an American idol. All right,
- 2:51Speaker 1: I will agree with you. Yes, this is a big
- 2:54Speaker 1: GIF for NBC. When you look at you know her technicalities,
- 2:57Speaker 1: which she's the fourth most career I do fear because
- 3:02Speaker 1: Ariana Grande is known for a lot of things, her
- 3:04Speaker 1: winning personality is not one of them. There are many
- 3:08Speaker 1: rumors out there. I know you've heard them in the past.
- 3:11Speaker 1: She's tricky, she's a little difficult, and she's a little divst.
- 3:15Speaker 1: I don't know if NBC realizes that it's Kelly and
- 3:18Speaker 1: John legend and then we look at them as like, oh,
- 3:21Speaker 1: they're fun and they're friendly and they're happy. I don't
- 3:24Speaker 1: know if Ariana Grandy is fun, friendly and half. You
- 3:27Speaker 1: make an excellent point, Ariana Grande is notorious for being difficult.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Prickly is a very good word. Tricky is a word
- 3:32Speaker 1: I would use. But I think on TV, as long
- 3:35Speaker 1: as you bring in the numbers, it doesn't matter if
- 3:37Speaker 1: you're not nice, Like it really doesn't matter when we're
- 3:40Speaker 1: not saying Ariana is not nice. But there's a lot
- 3:41Speaker 1: of people on TV who are really monstrous and they
- 3:45Speaker 1: get huge ratings. So I don't think Ariana is that bad.
- 3:50Speaker 1: But I do think she's going to bring in a
- 3:51Speaker 1: new young demographic. Adding Jonas to this panel, it's very exciting.
- 3:57Speaker 1: He's adorable. It didn't change the knee doll. In fact,
- 4:00Speaker 1: I would argue the only other pop star that maybe
- 4:04Speaker 1: could do this is Taylor Swift and possibly Beyonce. But
- 4:07Speaker 1: Katie Perry has not brought in the numbers to idols.
- 4:10Speaker 1: If they're paying Katie Perry twenty five million for Idol
- 4:13Speaker 1: and the Voice beat Idle without without Ariana Grande. With
- 4:18Speaker 1: Ariana Grande, I think the numbers are gonna go through
- 4:21Speaker 1: the roof. It's going to be a Tira Banks type
- 4:24Speaker 1: moment on Dancing with the Stars where everybody's going to
- 4:27Speaker 1: tune in to watch Twitter exploded. So I think this
- 4:31Speaker 1: is a really good idea. I'm not saying it's a
- 4:35Speaker 1: good fit. There's a difference. I think this is a
- 4:37Speaker 1: good idea for ratings. I hope it works out. Plus two,
- 4:41Speaker 1: isn't every person that auditions for the show. If several
- 4:45Speaker 1: chairs turn around, they're all going to pick Harryan and mean,
- 4:48Speaker 1: it's gonna be so embarrassed. Can you imagine poor Blake.
- 4:52Speaker 1: I mean, it's just who's gonna want? John? I love John.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Who would you pick some of the judges that are
- 4:57Speaker 1: going to be on the show, Kelly, Arianna, John or Blake?
- 5:00Speaker 1: Who would you pick? Donnie? I'm not gonna like as
- 5:02Speaker 1: a game. And I will forever have Mike Kelly Farkson
- 5:05Speaker 1: card because she's had our back forever. And she said,
- 5:09Speaker 1: I think, but you see, I think i'd pick carry
- 5:12Speaker 1: on a granding. So I want to hang out with her,
- 5:14Speaker 1: none of which would ever happen. Like, I don't think
- 5:16Speaker 1: she's invited me over for Sunday roast. I don't think
- 5:18Speaker 1: she's going to tell me all about her and Pete Davidson.
- 5:20Speaker 1: I don't think that's going to happen. But she is.
- 5:24Speaker 1: She sells out Arenas Blake's a big star. I'm really
- 5:27Speaker 1: not putting the others down. I'm just saying that this
- 5:30Speaker 1: level of stardom is very, very new to the show.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Who have a lot of stars on. So let's go
- 5:37Speaker 1: to our pole of the day. Ariana grand is going
- 5:39Speaker 1: to be the highest paid voice coach ever. Is she
- 5:44Speaker 1: worth it? Is she worthy? Yes? Or no? Go to
- 5:47Speaker 1: our Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob Our facebook page
- 5:49Speaker 1: is Naughty Gossip. Leave a comment there and be sure.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Had to check back tomorrow to hear your results. Donny Love,
- 5:56Speaker 1: what are you working on? You mentioned Tyra Bigs a
- 5:59Speaker 1: few minutes ago. Well, Dancing with the Stars it is
- 6:01Speaker 1: set to return for its thirtieth season. You know, Tyra
- 6:07Speaker 1: Banks really kind of breathe the new life into the show,
- 6:09Speaker 1: which I think is what they were hoping for, and
- 6:12Speaker 1: it turns out they did. It was her outlandish outfits
- 6:16Speaker 1: and personality I think is what the show kind of needed.
- 6:19Speaker 1: It was a little stand twenty nine seasons was prior.
- 6:23Speaker 1: It's like they needed a little pick me us and
- 6:26Speaker 1: they were able to. Even with the coronavirus. It was
- 6:28Speaker 1: still number one in the time slot, which is huge
- 6:31Speaker 1: and all you can ask for. It looks like, you know,
- 6:34Speaker 1: Lynn's gonna be back carrying a Naba Bruno and Derek Cuff,
- 6:38Speaker 1: who was a new addition this past season. None of
- 6:42Speaker 1: the celebrities have been announced, obviously, I know we're eagerly
- 6:45Speaker 1: awaiting to see who they're going to get to, you know,
- 6:48Speaker 1: cat walk into the ball room. But Tyra Banks, she's
- 6:51Speaker 1: definitely coming back and she's producing, so we can expect
- 6:54Speaker 1: some more shenanigans. I can't wait, don't de fact. She
- 6:57Speaker 1: is a name that keeps coming up. Who's your d
- 7:00Speaker 1: ream on this Who would you love to see shake
- 7:03Speaker 1: their bom bombs so to speak? On the show? Remember,
- 7:06Speaker 1: there was a little interesting exchange that Tyra Banks didn't
- 7:10Speaker 1: want any housewives on the show, and then Bethany Frankel,
- 7:14Speaker 1: who always has to get involved, she tweeted at Tyra
- 7:18Speaker 1: that she is no longer a housewife, so she doesn't
- 7:21Speaker 1: want to be sort of put into that category, although
- 7:24Speaker 1: I think that's what she's probably most famous for. And
- 7:26Speaker 1: then Tyra said, that's not true. I would love to
- 7:29Speaker 1: have housewives on the show. Do you think we'll get
- 7:31Speaker 1: to see a housewife? I don't think we will. I mean,
- 7:34Speaker 1: there's so many of them, you could have an entire
- 7:35Speaker 1: housewife's season, to be honest, But I think I would
- 7:38Speaker 1: love to see somebody out of the box, almost like
- 7:41Speaker 1: Cathy Griffin type, somebody controversial, controversial, but also like can
- 7:47Speaker 1: she dance? I don't know, I think like that's kind
- 7:50Speaker 1: of exciting, right, yes, And who's in the news, Like
- 7:52Speaker 1: Carol Baskin was their big controversial person last season, I
- 7:56Speaker 1: guess this show it would be somebody like a Lori
- 7:59Speaker 1: lock In. She's in the news and not because of
- 8:02Speaker 1: all that trouble. Who else is in the news all
- 8:04Speaker 1: the time? Britney spears is But I don't think Britney
- 8:06Speaker 1: is doing it, and of course they weren't. She can
- 8:13Speaker 1: still do the Old Is the Goodies and who else, oh,
- 8:18Speaker 1: Megan Marcus. I mean, she's not doing it, but these
- 8:20Speaker 1: are the people that are maybe these times get Gale
- 8:23Speaker 1: Kinger Oprah but broadened to it, which you know, it's
- 8:25Speaker 1: going to be the same eighties pop stars. It's going
- 8:28Speaker 1: to be a reality star that we have to google.
- 8:30Speaker 1: But at this point I don't think I care, Like
- 8:32Speaker 1: I'm not looking for them to have Brad Pitts. I
- 8:35Speaker 1: don't mind if I have to google them a bit,
- 8:37Speaker 1: if they might have been an in Sinquence and Nicolache
- 8:40Speaker 1: type of person, I don't mind. In fact, I think
- 8:42Speaker 1: he's done it and his brother this is a wild story.
- 8:45Speaker 1: So Rammy Malick asked Rachel Bilson to delete a photograph
- 8:50Speaker 1: of him. So these two are old friends. They went
- 8:53Speaker 1: to school together, they were even the school play together.
- 8:56Speaker 1: While she was recently on Dax Shepherd's podcast I Love
- 9:00Speaker 1: That Show, and she revealed a really awkward moment when
- 9:03Speaker 1: she popped up a throwback picture of herself and he
- 9:08Speaker 1: direct messaged her and asked her to remove the picture.
- 9:12Speaker 1: She was really quite upset about it, thinking, I don't
- 9:15Speaker 1: want to upset you. I didn't need to do anything
- 9:17Speaker 1: anything bad. So she removed it, and then she said
- 9:20Speaker 1: he was quite actually straight to the point, and he said,
- 9:22Speaker 1: I'm a very private person. So she took the picture down.
- 9:26Speaker 1: He never responded, he never said thank you, He never
- 9:30Speaker 1: got back in touch with her, And now I think
- 9:32Speaker 1: she's a little hurt by how the whole thing was handled.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Do you ask friends, Donnie, Should you ask friends before
- 9:39Speaker 1: you post pictures? Now? It takes it takes a lot
- 9:41Speaker 1: of goal to ask somebody to take the picture down.
- 9:44Speaker 1: I have, though I will say I've gone in and
- 9:46Speaker 1: uncagged myself over. The difference, though, Darling, is that you
- 9:52Speaker 1: didn't win an oscar, so there's not so many people
- 9:55Speaker 1: looking for you. Do not some any watching you? So
- 10:01Speaker 1: if you tag Donnie, Yes, darling, your mother will love it,
- 10:04Speaker 1: and your brother and your sister. Of course, all the
- 10:06Speaker 1: naughties we would would take a look. We we love that.
- 10:09Speaker 1: But I think you know an oscar win them. It's
- 10:11Speaker 1: very big. Well, I've got the picture, so I had
- 10:13Speaker 1: a look at the picture. He looks a little heavier
- 10:15Speaker 1: in the picture, so I don't really that's upset him.
- 10:18Speaker 1: But he looks adorable. He looks younger, he's probably sixteen seventeen,
- 10:22Speaker 1: but absolutely adorable. What else is going on the story
- 10:26Speaker 1: is actually very very sweet. Well, Miranda Lambert, who's Blake's
- 10:29Speaker 1: ex wife, was recalling a special moment that the two
- 10:32Speaker 1: kind of had together. So a lot of people don't know.
- 10:35Speaker 1: So Shelton's brother he died when he was a teenager
- 10:38Speaker 1: in a car accident, and you know, they wrote a
- 10:42Speaker 1: song together called over You, which was inspired by his
- 10:45Speaker 1: brother Richie's death. And it was kind of hard for
- 10:49Speaker 1: Blake to kind of put pen to paper and kind
- 10:51Speaker 1: of figure it out. And so Miranda went to him
- 10:53Speaker 1: and was like, well, what if we write this song together?
- 10:57Speaker 1: And to me, that's very beautiful. It worked out well
- 10:59Speaker 1: because it and you know, a song of the year
- 11:01Speaker 1: that year when it came out, and it's just beautiful
- 11:04Speaker 1: because it's a hard moment, and I think that two people,
- 11:07Speaker 1: whether you're married or not, to be able to sit
- 11:09Speaker 1: down and like cathartically write out these words. It's beautiful
- 11:13Speaker 1: and I'm very, very happy that she can finally look back. Yeah,
- 11:16Speaker 1: he rarely plays this song. It's so emotional, but it
- 11:19Speaker 1: did win a Country Music Song of the Award. It's
- 11:22Speaker 1: a beautiful song and I listened to it yesterday and
- 11:25Speaker 1: it's just beautiful. I think what people are saying, though,
- 11:28Speaker 1: is that and it's a lesson for all of us.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Just because this marriage ended in divorce, it doesn't mean
- 11:33Speaker 1: that everything you did together it is bad. You can
- 11:36Speaker 1: still have wonderful moments in something that didn't work out.
- 11:40Speaker 1: And after these two did not get along, after they
- 11:43Speaker 1: broke up, or it's quite quite ugly, wasn't it. I
- 11:46Speaker 1: actually like that she now is talking about some of
- 11:49Speaker 1: the good things, and I really do encourage people to
- 11:53Speaker 1: do that even in a bad situation, there can be
- 11:57Speaker 1: some good times and let's focus on though us. So
- 12:00Speaker 1: before we go to break big news, Diana the musical
- 12:04Speaker 1: is coming to Broadway, so they filmed the show for
- 12:07Speaker 1: Netflix during the shutdown for COVID nineteen. But now we're
- 12:11Speaker 1: told that it's gonna debut on October one on Netflix,
- 12:16Speaker 1: and then on December one, it's going to be in
- 12:18Speaker 1: previews on Broadway opening night December sixteen. I've seen the show, Donnie,
- 12:23Speaker 1: so the very first preview. I know, the very first preview.
- 12:26Speaker 1: The only did like one or two performances in New
- 12:29Speaker 1: York before the whole city, the whole world got shut down.
- 12:32Speaker 1: It's fabulous. And now with Oprah and Megan and all
- 12:36Speaker 1: this interest, extra interest in the royals, it is such
- 12:40Speaker 1: a great show, Donnie. I went there, I cried, I screamed.
- 12:45Speaker 1: I met the producer at intermission. I think her name
- 12:47Speaker 1: is Betha Williams. She was just wonderful. I told her
- 12:51Speaker 1: it's the People's musical. I know, because Princess Diana was
- 12:54Speaker 1: the People's Princess. Trust Robert, this is the People's musical.
- 12:59Speaker 1: And I think after the pandemic, to go and at
- 13:02Speaker 1: all that eighties clothes, Donnie, that big shoulder pads, the
- 13:05Speaker 1: big hair, it's our time. It's really really great, and
- 13:08Speaker 1: I'm so happy we get to see it on Netflix
- 13:11Speaker 1: and then on Broadway. Hey Donnie, We're going to take
- 13:14Speaker 1: a quick break and we will be all right. Welcome
- 13:20Speaker 1: back to the nord Eva Night Show. I'm your house
- 13:23Speaker 1: drop Shooter with our friend Donny. Meet Jump from Okay
- 13:25Speaker 1: magazine dot com. Hey Donnie, let's get to the polls.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Thank you, darling. Do you remember when you auditioned for
- 13:33Speaker 1: American Idol? How could I forget? Was it humiliating? Did
- 13:41Speaker 1: any of the chess turn around or ever got the
- 13:43Speaker 1: wrong show? Will you get the wrong show? But they
- 13:45Speaker 1: did turn around to not look at Oh no, oh
- 13:47Speaker 1: the Vicious? Which was which was your favorite? This was Paula,
- 13:51Speaker 1: Randy and Simon? Carla? Carla? Do you know I used
- 13:55Speaker 1: to represent her? I was hypoblicist. I don't know if
- 13:58Speaker 1: she knew that because she was of Hair Squared, her
- 14:04Speaker 1: life a lewer lewer lowe. Okay. Yesterday's pole, we talked
- 14:07Speaker 1: about Kate Middleton being very, very protective of her children
- 14:12Speaker 1: his mother making the right move. Wow said absolutely. Yes,
- 14:16Speaker 1: I'm not a parent, but I have a little doggie.
- 14:18Speaker 1: I know it's different. I'm super super protective. Don't mess
- 14:22Speaker 1: with mama there, and don't forget to vote on today's pole.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Go to my Twitter page and naughtyis wrong. But our
- 14:28Speaker 1: Facebook page is Lady Gossip, and be sure to check
- 14:31Speaker 1: back tomorrow to hear your results. And now it's time
- 14:35Speaker 1: for the nicest of the day. The nice Saturday is
- 14:42Speaker 1: Jennifer Lopez. She's been going through an interesting time here.
- 14:45Speaker 1: We've reported a lot about her and Alex heard Vigue supportedly,
- 14:49Speaker 1: you know, splitting and getting back together. What she shared
- 14:51Speaker 1: a motivational post and I'm just saying, basically, I am enough,
- 14:56Speaker 1: which is beautiful to hear. She's been down on the
- 14:58Speaker 1: Dominican Republic shooting her new film Shotgun Wedding, and she
- 15:03Speaker 1: looked rather stunning. She's posted a couple of clips. She's
- 15:05Speaker 1: wearing this tiny it's a yellow stream. I was like,
- 15:10Speaker 1: you're fifty, you are, but it's just, you know, I
- 15:14Speaker 1: think it's nice that even superstars Jennifer Lopos, who has everything,
- 15:19Speaker 1: she still needs to be reminded that she is enough. Yes. Absolutely,
- 15:24Speaker 1: I worked for Jennifer, so I know her. It doesn't
- 15:26Speaker 1: matter if you're the most famous, most beautiful, and most rich,
- 15:29Speaker 1: most successful people in the world. We all had those
- 15:32Speaker 1: little voices in our head telling us a lie telling
- 15:34Speaker 1: us we're not good enough. It's a lie. We are
- 15:37Speaker 1: good enough. Hey, thank you Jennifer for reminding us. And
- 15:41Speaker 1: I really do like that. This proves it doesn't matter
- 15:44Speaker 1: who you are. We're all in this together, fighting those
- 15:47Speaker 1: nasty voices. And now it's time for and naughtier stuff
- 15:50Speaker 1: of the day. Nerly, you do know that the actual
- 15:55Speaker 1: jingle there is naughty DARNI not shange, of course, but
- 15:58Speaker 1: every Wednesdays it's different. A lot of darling as are
- 16:01Speaker 1: you a little different? You are enough? Okay, I've noticed
- 16:09Speaker 1: the day. I tried not to do stories about Meghan
- 16:11Speaker 1: Markle's father on the show, but this one is just
- 16:13Speaker 1: so outrageous I have to mention it. Megan Markle's father, Thomas,
- 16:17Speaker 1: has been spotted trying to drop off a letter at
- 16:20Speaker 1: Oprah Winfrey's house in California. So we drove from Mexico
- 16:25Speaker 1: in his car to Oprah's the state, where he handed
- 16:28Speaker 1: a letter over to Oprah security. It has been pointed
- 16:32Speaker 1: out that the note was not for Harry and Megan. No, no, no,
- 16:35Speaker 1: it was for Oprah, and he's asking Oprah to interview
- 16:38Speaker 1: him so he can tell his side of the story.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Megan and Harry only live about a mile away from Oprah.
- 16:45Speaker 1: He was not spotted trying to visit them. He wants
- 16:48Speaker 1: to sit down with Oprah. The chance that is happening
- 16:51Speaker 1: is zero, correct z. And this meant he really I
- 16:57Speaker 1: just sit back and I do feel bad for Megan.
- 16:59Speaker 1: One comes to him because he just seems like he
- 17:02Speaker 1: has really messed her up a lot. And stories like
- 17:05Speaker 1: this or it's like, you know, maybe she does have
- 17:07Speaker 1: reason to you know, be a little. She does. She does,
- 17:12Speaker 1: and it's just the coincidence again that the photographers caught
- 17:15Speaker 1: him doing it. They are not photographers camped outside, don't perhaps,
- 17:19Speaker 1: I know, you think there might be because she's such
- 17:20Speaker 1: a big superstar, she's in such a private community, they
- 17:23Speaker 1: would be ushered off. Get out of here go. And
- 17:25Speaker 1: so the facts of the top, you know, he took
- 17:27Speaker 1: the picture himself. It's so desperate and it's relentless. It's
- 17:33Speaker 1: just relentless. Shouldn't make a vam again and see if
- 17:35Speaker 1: we can try and keep it on the show that
- 17:36Speaker 1: we won't do stories on him. Let's do that right now,
- 17:39Speaker 1: all together, all the Naughties agree, no more, Thomas Markle,
- 17:42Speaker 1: It's enough, and now it's time for a moment of Rob.
