- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need.
- 0:02Speaker 2: All right, good morning everybody, Thank you for starting this
- 0:04Speaker 2: Wednesday with us. Ricky Sanchez over here has those three things.
- 0:07Speaker 3: The Menendez brothers have been re sentenced. Lyle and Eric
- 0:11Speaker 3: Menendez were re sentenced to fifty years to life, making
- 0:14Speaker 3: them eligible for parole after thirty years in prison. The
- 0:17Speaker 3: defense attorney in the case said that this ruling affirms
- 0:19Speaker 3: the possibility of redemption, as the brothers maintained that they
- 0:23Speaker 3: acted out of fear from abuse. Gavin Newsom has noted
- 0:27Speaker 3: that there has not been any decision made on clemency
- 0:29Speaker 3: or anything like that where he could pardon them. He
- 0:32Speaker 3: will share how he feels and what he plans to
- 0:35Speaker 3: do after the brother's final hearing. The National Symphony has
- 0:40Speaker 3: announced that their community concerts are underway. They are all
- 0:43Speaker 3: planned out. This is such a fun summer tradition around
- 0:47Speaker 3: Middle Tennessee. So from June fifth through the fourteenth, the
- 0:49Speaker 3: orchestra is going to perform free concerts in local parks
- 0:52Speaker 3: and communities all over Middle Tennessee. So, like David stated, Montgomery,
- 0:56Speaker 3: Wilson Counties, all of these places they're going to perform.
- 0:59Speaker 3: Several cert locations are going to offer family friendly preconcert
- 1:02Speaker 3: activities and food options. So if you plan to go,
- 1:05Speaker 3: it is encouraged that you go early, especially if it's
- 1:07Speaker 3: a nice, beautiful day, which we hope all of them are,
- 1:10Speaker 3: and make sure that you bring blankets and chairs if
- 1:12Speaker 3: you're gonna go as well, so you have a comfy
- 1:13Speaker 3: little spot for you and your fam. More info could
- 1:16Speaker 3: be found at Nationalsymphony dot org slash Community Concerts. And
- 1:21Speaker 3: this was really interesting to me because I think, obviously
- 1:24Speaker 3: this is something that we haven't dived into just yet,
- 1:28Speaker 3: but most remote workers will go entire weeks without leaving
- 1:31Speaker 3: the house. Obviously, remote work isn't new, but more people
- 1:36Speaker 3: are working remotely now than ever because of the pandemic.
- 1:39Speaker 3: So this new survey finds that fifty six percent of
- 1:41Speaker 3: remote workers aren't leaving their home and twenty five percent
- 1:45Speaker 3: don't speak to anyone for days.
- 1:47Speaker 4: That's depressing, that's not healthy.
- 1:50Speaker 3: It's very interesting though that they're doing these surveys and
- 1:53Speaker 3: trying to figure out more about it. Fifty six admit
- 1:55Speaker 3: to going twenty four hours without human contact, twenty seven
- 1:59Speaker 3: percent admitted to spending days alone, and eight percent have
- 2:03Speaker 3: gone a week or more without interacting with someone In person. Wow, Yeah,
- 2:07Speaker 3: pretty wild. Also something to just kind of keep in mind.
- 2:10Speaker 5: You know.
- 2:10Speaker 3: What I mean is that there are a lot of
- 2:12Speaker 3: people who are remote working and that it can be
- 2:14Speaker 3: a benefit for families, but it's something that obviously a
- 2:17Speaker 3: lot of people aren't used to get out there. If
- 2:20Speaker 3: you have not, and make sure that you're actively, you know,
- 2:23Speaker 3: interacting with the people around.
- 2:24Speaker 4: You, and this kind of goes hand in hand.
- 2:26Speaker 2: You recently had a story about people turning to AI
- 2:28Speaker 2: for comparmipanionship.
- 2:29Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Yeah, that's why I think this is so interesting that
- 2:32Speaker 3: they're starting to look more and more into this. Like
- 2:34Speaker 3: I said, people have been working remotely forever, but now
- 2:38Speaker 3: we have more people working remotely than we ever did
- 2:41Speaker 3: because of the pandemic. So there's gonna be a lot
- 2:43Speaker 3: of new findings and a lot of new things that
- 2:45Speaker 3: we're going to have to work to throw together as
- 2:47Speaker 3: a society and kind of figure out how to make
- 2:49Speaker 3: work in a positive way. So, like I said, if
- 2:52Speaker 3: you haven't gone out in a while, make sure you
- 2:54Speaker 3: interact with people around you. It's important, it's good for
- 2:56Speaker 3: the soul. Amriki Sanchez and those are the three.
- 2:59Speaker 4: Things you need to know Ricky's second in the morning.
- 3:01Speaker 3: Good morning, Madison in white House. It's one of seven,
- 3:04Speaker 3: five of the River. How's your morning going so far?
- 3:06Speaker 3: It's going good.
- 3:07Speaker 5: I'm about to take my ships to school.
- 3:10Speaker 4: How old are your kids, Madison?
- 3:12Speaker 5: My oldest to a and my youngest just tern five yesterday.
- 3:15Speaker 4: Okay, I'm right there with you. I have an eight
- 3:17Speaker 4: and a six year old.
- 3:18Speaker 3: You beleeted.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Okay, are you feeling the stress yet of like into
- 3:24Speaker 2: the school year? Like this week not so bad in
- 3:26Speaker 2: my household, but next week's getting crazy, and then it's
- 3:29Speaker 2: the summer, which is insane.
- 3:31Speaker 5: Yes, I feel like the school year just flew by,
- 3:34Speaker 5: and then there's like so much brand into the next
- 3:37Speaker 5: two weeks, so it is just crazy.
- 3:39Speaker 4: Yeah, too much?
- 3:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:41Speaker 7: The most important question, do you like mimosas I do?
- 3:45Speaker 8: What's your favorite juice to pour in your mimosa?
- 3:48Speaker 5: I'm pretty basic with the orange juice.
- 3:51Speaker 8: You're an og classic oj.
- 3:55Speaker 4: Og oj. I love that.
- 3:58Speaker 3: I knew Kevin would like that, don't Joe.
- 4:00Speaker 4: I'm so mad I didn't fig him in first man.
- 4:03Speaker 3: You have a crazy, hectic next few weeks, but you
- 4:06Speaker 3: are the first color of the day on one of
- 4:08Speaker 3: seven five of the River. So that means that you're
- 4:09Speaker 3: gonna go to Mamosa Fastival this weekend.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Yay, I'm so excited.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Congratulations, love, enjoy all the mimosas. Like I said earlier,
- 4:18Speaker 3: Hopefully it's a nice, sunshiny day, fingers crossed for like
- 4:21Speaker 3: a beautiful day outside.
- 4:23Speaker 5: Fingers crossed. The weather has definitely been crazy, man.
- 4:26Speaker 4: It's a thank you for starting your day with us.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Good luck dropping those kiddos off today, and again, please
- 4:30Speaker 2: wish them a happy birthday for us.
- 4:32Speaker 4: Thank you, all right, hang on the line for a sec.
- 4:35Speaker 4: I am so mad. I didn't think of O G
- 4:36Speaker 4: O J.
- 4:38Speaker 8: Kevin's not going to sleep tonight.
- 4:39Speaker 3: Well, He's gonna be thinking about it, just in his
- 4:41Speaker 3: bed staring at me. I still can't believe I didn't
- 4:44Speaker 3: think of that.
- 4:45Speaker 2: More Memosa passes tomorrow. Most of that, I can't even
- 4:48Speaker 2: say it right because I'm so mad.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Kevin's got a real problem that is making it difficult
- 4:55Speaker 3: to work with him. Yeah, it's a serious issue.
- 4:58Speaker 4: It is my wife. It drives her crazy to know,
- 5:01Speaker 4: you guys crazy.
- 5:02Speaker 3: So it's affecting everybody around you, and you just don't
- 5:04Speaker 3: seem to care.
- 5:05Speaker 4: Kevin, I think it's an affliction.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Like I think this is an undiagnosed issue that probably
- 5:11Speaker 2: a lot of people are dealing with.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Uh huh, Okay, let's see about that.
- 5:15Speaker 2: We're gona play Gracy Abrams and then I will explain
- 5:18Speaker 2: why you should all feel sorry for me.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Oh, Ricky Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 5:27Speaker 3: I don't think this is going to go the way
- 5:28Speaker 3: that Kevin thinks it's gonna go. But let's find out.
- 5:31Speaker 3: It's Ricky, Zach and Manno in the morning on one
- 5:33Speaker 3: oh seven five the river. Kevin has this h what
- 5:35Speaker 3: he calls an affliction and what those around him would
- 5:38Speaker 3: call a lazy characteristic going on.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Just have sympathy for me, please. I can't read an email.
- 5:45Speaker 2: I don't know that I've ever read an entire email.
- 5:47Speaker 3: And to clarify, the man does know how to read
- 5:50Speaker 3: yep when he was younger. He's he can read.
- 5:53Speaker 4: I like to read it, reading the kids every night.
- 5:54Speaker 4: It's fun.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Just chooses not to read full emails.
- 5:58Speaker 4: So what do you do?
- 5:59Speaker 7: Do you like skip over the middle and read the
- 6:00Speaker 7: beginning and end or do you just start and then
- 6:02Speaker 7: call it a day.
- 6:03Speaker 2: I skim for anything pertinent to me, and most of
- 6:07Speaker 2: the time I miss all of the pertinent information.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Uh.
- 6:11Speaker 4: And I don't know.
- 6:11Speaker 2: I'm just like, uh, I've carved out this this lane
- 6:14Speaker 2: in life where if it's important, somebody's gonna tell me,
- 6:17Speaker 2: you know, like I could just delete all my emails
- 6:18Speaker 2: off my phone and sir, that is.
- 6:20Speaker 8: The privilege right there.
- 6:22Speaker 3: Scene is that you son?
- 6:24Speaker 7: You do if it's that important to let me know
- 6:27Speaker 7: you are so privileged?
- 6:29Speaker 4: No, I'm lucky.
- 6:30Speaker 2: My wife will tell me, like, Kevin, you got an
- 6:32Speaker 2: email a week ago, you have to respond, like, you know,
- 6:34Speaker 2: I'll eventually get yelled at about this this bit of
- 6:36Speaker 2: information that I lost.
- 6:37Speaker 7: You know what's so funny as Kevin sends us an
- 6:39Speaker 7: email every single morning and gets offended if we don't
- 6:42Speaker 7: read every single bullet point in his email.
- 6:44Speaker 2: But that's the key word is bullet point. I send
- 6:47Speaker 2: you guys this daily email. But it's like it's structured
- 6:50Speaker 2: so well that it's easier to structured so well.
- 6:53Speaker 3: There are so many typos.
- 6:55Speaker 4: Every day that's not the point.
- 6:58Speaker 3: Zero detail, and it's just one secular sentence is not
- 7:03Speaker 3: structured well whatsoever.
- 7:05Speaker 2: I just people are so long winded and emails they
- 7:08Speaker 2: give too much information. I don't need all that, just
- 7:11Speaker 2: like a one I think there should be a law
- 7:13Speaker 2: that you can always send a one sentence email.
- 7:15Speaker 3: That is absolutely insane.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Just tell me what I need to know. I'm not
- 7:18Speaker 2: going to read all this heaven, I can't do it.
- 7:20Speaker 4: I cannot do it. And also I get so much
- 7:22Speaker 4: how do you get stand type of junk mail?
- 7:24Speaker 8: Oh my god, I guess swipe and delete the junk mail.
- 7:27Speaker 2: I gave up on that a long time ago. I
- 7:30Speaker 2: don't have the time or energy to delete all these things.
- 7:32Speaker 2: I get three hundred pieces of junk mail every day.
- 7:36Speaker 4: I'm not gonna sit through.
- 7:36Speaker 3: There's also you can make two different email addresses.
- 7:39Speaker 4: I have five different email address.
- 7:41Speaker 7: Oh and you wonder why you can't read an email?
- 7:44Speaker 4: You have five different emails. It's too much, man, I
- 7:48Speaker 4: guarantee them that alone.
- 7:49Speaker 2: I know other people out there have this affliction that
- 7:51Speaker 2: you just you look at an email in.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Your eyes characteristic.
- 7:54Speaker 4: I just can't do it. I just there's no way
- 7:56Speaker 4: I'm ever going to hear.
- 7:57Speaker 3: To your job. Though it's kind of a gig like unfortunately,
- 7:59Speaker 3: we all have to read emails. It's just how it works.
- 8:02Speaker 3: And that's not just our job. That's everyone's job. And
- 8:04Speaker 3: I would argue that our emails are very short in
- 8:07Speaker 3: comparison to what other people get when they go to work.
- 8:10Speaker 4: That's why I don't have a normal job.
- 8:12Speaker 2: I value I put text messages like way up here
- 8:15Speaker 2: on top of the ladder emails or way down at
- 8:17Speaker 2: the bottom, like if there's something important, somebody's gonna text
- 8:19Speaker 2: me that.
- 8:20Speaker 8: Again, that is just some privilege right there, sir.
- 8:24Speaker 3: This is just insane to me.
- 8:26Speaker 8: I'm gonna send.
- 8:28Speaker 4: One sentence email. One sentence emails. That's the new law
- 8:32Speaker 4: of the land.
- 8:33Speaker 3: Okay, you got it. I'm gonna just start sending you
- 8:34Speaker 3: one sentence and if you don't get all the information,
- 8:36Speaker 3: you go, wait, I didn't know that.
- 8:38Speaker 2: I guarantee you start doing it, and you're gonna realize,
- 8:40Speaker 2: my god, Kevin's genius.
- 8:42Speaker 4: This is the way to live.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Genius.
- 8:43Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm gonna start sending you one sentence email every
- 8:46Speaker 7: single day.
- 8:47Speaker 4: That's awesome.
- 8:48Speaker 8: I read it.
- 8:49Speaker 4: I'll read the whole thing.
- 8:50Speaker 3: I don't know why I'm so excited about that.
- 8:52Speaker 2: If you also suffer from this affliction, please reach out
- 8:54Speaker 2: and let these guys know I'm not alone.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Three things you need to know, all right, all right.
- 8:58Speaker 2: This uh foggy Wednesday morning. Thank you for starting with us.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 9:03Speaker 3: A Wicked Concert special is set for NBC and Peacock,
- 9:07Speaker 3: so director John M. Chew has shared that there's going
- 9:09Speaker 3: to be a live concert featuring the film's co stars,
- 9:12Speaker 3: including Ariana Grande and Cyndia Rivo. It's going to take
- 9:15Speaker 3: place in November and air the next day on NBC
- 9:18Speaker 3: and Peacock. They're going to perform songs live from the
- 9:20Speaker 3: first movie and maybe a little bit from the second
- 9:23Speaker 3: one as well, he said. He shared during NBC Universal's
- 9:27Speaker 3: Upfront presentation to advertisers at Radio City Music Hall in
- 9:31Speaker 3: New York this week that the concert special is going
- 9:33Speaker 3: to come ahead before Wicked for Good hits theater is
- 9:37Speaker 3: November twenty first. Crazy to think that Wicked is just
- 9:42Speaker 3: NonStop for years at this point.
- 9:45Speaker 4: I'm excited about it.
- 9:46Speaker 3: I love it. I actually watched it for the first
- 9:48Speaker 3: time not that long ago, and I thought it was
- 9:50Speaker 3: absolutely phenomenal. So I'm very much looking forward to the
- 9:52Speaker 3: second part of it, and I'm looking forward to this.
- 9:54Speaker 3: I think it's really cool to do things like this. Obviously,
- 9:58Speaker 3: we will let you know exactly when it that's happening
- 10:00Speaker 3: when we get some more information. Just know that it's
- 10:02Speaker 3: coming before the next Wicked movie comes out. November twenty first,
- 10:06Speaker 3: AMC is going to slash movie ticket price is by
- 10:09Speaker 3: fifty percent on Wednesdays. This is fantastic. The promotion starch
- 10:13Speaker 3: toly ninth, and you have to be an AMC Stubs
- 10:16Speaker 3: member in order to get the fifty percent off, but
- 10:18Speaker 3: it's fifty percent off of an adult ticket for Wednesdays
- 10:20Speaker 3: all day Wednesday. So whether you're going at night or
- 10:24Speaker 3: you're going for a matinee, you're getting half off your
- 10:26Speaker 3: ticket price. And I love it, especially because obviously, if
- 10:30Speaker 3: you are a couple, each of you have a stubs
- 10:32Speaker 3: member rewards program, you're paying half the price for your tickets,
- 10:37Speaker 3: and then obviously your kids and things like that. But
- 10:40Speaker 3: I love this. It's making movies a lot more affordable
- 10:42Speaker 3: and easier for families to go.
- 10:43Speaker 4: You'll finally be able to go see Sinners Kevin.
- 10:45Speaker 3: And I'm getting there.
- 10:48Speaker 4: You can just watch the wicket. I guess I shouldn't
- 10:49Speaker 4: rush it.
- 10:50Speaker 3: You'll leave it loud bna's new rides here. A lot
- 10:53Speaker 3: is here officially the current rights here holding lot, as
- 10:57Speaker 3: the old one is closed and now the new one
- 10:59Speaker 3: is open. It's located at fourteen thirteen Murphy zero Pike,
- 11:03Speaker 3: which is adjacent to bna's cell waiting lot. They have
- 11:06Speaker 3: doubled restroom availability, they increase parking capacity by one hundred
- 11:10Speaker 3: and seventy five percent, and they enhanced parking lot lighting
- 11:13Speaker 3: and visibility, which is great. No worries. If you're just
- 11:15Speaker 3: getting picked up as a passenger, you're going to the
- 11:18Speaker 3: same location you have always gone to. Whether you're getting
- 11:20Speaker 3: picked up by a loved one or if you're going
- 11:22Speaker 3: to get a ride from lyft or a taxi or uber,
- 11:25Speaker 3: those spots are still the same. It's just for when
- 11:28Speaker 3: you're waiting to pick somebody up. This is all in
- 11:31Speaker 3: hopes of making major improvements for travelers going in and
- 11:33Speaker 3: out of BNA, and obviously trying to make it a
- 11:36Speaker 3: better experience overall for everyone. I'm Marick Sanchez and those
- 11:39Speaker 3: are the three things you need to know.
- 11:40Speaker 4: Thank you, Ricky, appreciate it.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Getting back into the music with GG Perez right after
- 11:45Speaker 2: Sailor song. We are learning Zach is standing by, called him.
- 11:49Speaker 4: The Mouth of the South. Born and raised here in Nashville, Tennessee.
- 11:53Speaker 2: He's got a fact, Zach's FAXX next down the river,
- 11:55Speaker 2: Ricky zachon Mano in the morning on the river, all.
- 11:59Speaker 3: Right, exact taches something new. It's Zack's fax on one
- 12:02Speaker 3: of seven five of the river.
- 12:03Speaker 8: This is kind of crazy.
- 12:04Speaker 7: But apparently the higher they fall, the more likely a
- 12:06Speaker 7: cat is to survive the fall.
- 12:08Speaker 1: What.
- 12:09Speaker 7: Yeah, so they said, the higher they fall it gives
- 12:11Speaker 7: them more time to correct their position mid flight and
- 12:13Speaker 7: prepare their itself more for the landing.
- 12:15Speaker 2: I mean that's to a certain height, and then it
- 12:19Speaker 2: starts to probably get a little more dangerous.
- 12:21Speaker 7: There's reports of cats falling from his high as thirty
- 12:23Speaker 7: two stories high and coming away.
- 12:24Speaker 8: With just a chiptooth.
- 12:26Speaker 2: So are you telling me that if you go up
- 12:27Speaker 2: to forty stories you're improving their chances.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Having bats have nine lives for a reason.
- 12:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:32Speaker 2: No, I'm just saying, yes, I agree with what you're saying.
- 12:34Speaker 2: To a certain level, and then it gets more dangerous.
- 12:36Speaker 7: Well, anyways, there's your fact of the day. Even though
- 12:38Speaker 7: Kevin man I was trying to dispute the fact, No.
- 12:41Speaker 4: I believe the fact. I believe the fact. Thank you, Zach,
- 12:43Speaker 4: move the South, Ladies and gentlemen.
- 12:45Speaker 6: One Ricky, Zach and Menno in the Morning causing the
- 12:49Speaker 6: Internet yesterday and I came across this list of weirdest
- 12:53Speaker 6: and funniest street names in the US, and I was wondering,
- 12:56Speaker 6: if there's anybody that we know who's grown up on
- 12:59Speaker 6: a week street name.
- 13:00Speaker 4: Oh, there's got toy I we uh.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Recently, we went to North Carolina, like a year ago,
- 13:04Speaker 2: and we stayed in like an AIRBN beyond toot.
- 13:06Speaker 4: Hollow to Hollow Hollow.
- 13:09Speaker 3: That's hilarious. I love that. So if you've ever maybe
- 13:14Speaker 3: lived or drove past one even yeah, yeah, maybe you
- 13:17Speaker 3: just drove past a weird street name, we want to
- 13:20Speaker 3: hear from you. Six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine
- 13:22Speaker 3: one seven Ricky, Zach and Mano in the Morning on
- 13:27Speaker 3: Ravana and Hendersonville. Did you grow up on a road
- 13:30Speaker 3: with a weird name?
- 13:31Speaker 5: I actually didn't.
- 13:32Speaker 7: Grow up on it.
- 13:33Speaker 5: But we were in Gatlinburg in October and there was
- 13:36Speaker 5: a bunch of traffic and so the GPS took us
- 13:39Speaker 5: a back way and I took us down Boogertown.
- 13:42Speaker 4: Road, Boogertown, Bootown, Bogertown.
- 13:49Speaker 5: It's this little penny tawny road where there's like a
- 13:54Speaker 5: ditch and you better hope that there's nobody else coming
- 13:57Speaker 5: the other way.
- 13:58Speaker 3: I just googled it because I needed, not that I
- 14:00Speaker 3: didn't believe you, but I needed to see it for myself.
- 14:02Speaker 3: And it really does exist right in Gallinburg. Boogertown Road.
- 14:07Speaker 3: It's one word I need.
- 14:09Speaker 4: To know what led to naming this road Boogertown. This
- 14:13Speaker 4: is awesome. Samanna, thank you.
- 14:14Speaker 3: So much for calling in. We appreciate you.
- 14:17Speaker 2: You too, That might be worth the trip out there.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Dylan and Franklin, good morning, welcome to the river. What's
- 14:24Speaker 2: that that street name in your life?
- 14:26Speaker 4: What's going on?
- 14:27Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 14:27Speaker 5: It was, uh, I'm it was in Memphis and it
- 14:30Speaker 5: was called Wiener Road.
- 14:37Speaker 3: I am such a child that laugh. I just looked
- 14:42Speaker 3: it up. House for sale on Wiener Road. You can
- 14:46Speaker 3: live on Wiener Road in Memphis if you are.
- 14:48Speaker 4: Thank you, Dylan, Thank you.
- 14:51Speaker 2: This conversation just instantly turns everybody into a four year old.
- 14:55Speaker 4: We'll do one more right now. Robin and Shelbyville, go ahead.
- 14:59Speaker 4: What's that street name?
- 15:00Speaker 3: Cater Peeler, Tater Peeler, Yeah, like potatoes, but tator, yes.
- 15:06Speaker 8: Like potato.
- 15:08Speaker 4: Where is this?
- 15:10Speaker 9: It was off up Highway forty going to Catlin, It literally.
- 15:14Speaker 4: Says, tater Peeler wasn't what's happening on Gatlin?
- 15:17Speaker 3: Tater Peeler is a community of Wilson County, Tennessee, is
- 15:20Speaker 3: what it says, Tater Peeler.
- 15:22Speaker 4: All right, thank you, Rob.
- 15:23Speaker 3: All of these are really just.
- 15:27Speaker 4: Ricky's crying. Literally, we appreciate you. Thank you.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Uh, if you have one, if you grew up on
- 15:32Speaker 2: a funny street name so silly?
- 15:34Speaker 3: Who thinks of these things? Do you think that they
- 15:37Speaker 3: all just like sat around in a circle and they
- 15:38Speaker 3: were like, what's the most insane thing we can name
- 15:41Speaker 3: this road?
- 15:41Speaker 4: Town?
- 15:42Speaker 1: Baby Recky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Megan in Smyrna, tell us, did you grow up on
- 15:51Speaker 3: a weird road or like a road with a funny name.
- 15:54Speaker 3: I used to live in Virginia and we grew up
- 15:59Speaker 3: near a road called lick.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Lick ye cross.
- 16:05Speaker 4: That is gross.
- 16:07Speaker 3: Did you know anybody who like lived on back click road?
- 16:11Speaker 3: Luckily I'm not. I don't think I would ever be
- 16:14Speaker 3: able to like say these roads without laughing about like
- 16:18Speaker 3: if I lived on Backlick.
- 16:20Speaker 4: Road, laugh, I live over on back Lick.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Megan, thank you for calling in. Have a great day.
- 16:29Speaker 2: We got onto this because Ricky stumbled on like a
- 16:32Speaker 2: list of some of the best names in the in
- 16:34Speaker 2: the country.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Yeah, like just the weirdest names in the country, and
- 16:38Speaker 3: some of them are just wild. There's a road in
- 16:41Speaker 3: Arkansas called far from poopen. What it's spelled f A
- 16:47Speaker 3: R F R O M P O O p e
- 16:49Speaker 3: N far from poopin.
- 16:51Speaker 4: That's incredible.
- 16:52Speaker 3: There's Tooton Hill Road. Yeah, I like that psychopath.
- 16:58Speaker 4: Wow, that's a road.
- 17:00Speaker 8: Did someone just renamed my street that divorce court?
- 17:04Speaker 3: That's good.
- 17:06Speaker 4: Somebody somewhere that's like in charge of it has a
- 17:09Speaker 4: sense of humor.
- 17:09Speaker 3: There's one called up the road, up the road, Yeah,
- 17:13Speaker 3: like it's two words up the road.
- 17:15Speaker 4: That's great.
- 17:15Speaker 3: And then this is really funny, but there's an entire
- 17:18Speaker 3: community in Houston, Texas where all of the developers came
- 17:22Speaker 3: up with the roads inside of the development. It's which way,
- 17:25Speaker 3: right way, that way, straight way, same way, and my way.
- 17:30Speaker 4: That's why you don't drink at community center meetings. That's great.
- 17:34Speaker 4: That would be so confusing if you lived there.
- 17:36Speaker 8: Let's just go that way, turn left on my way,
- 17:39Speaker 8: right on your way.
- 17:40Speaker 3: What yeah, and then make sure you make a left
- 17:42Speaker 3: on right way.
- 17:43Speaker 4: I still think Boogertown Road is the best one we got.
- 17:45Speaker 4: That's the that's the winner.
- 17:46Speaker 2: We have passes for Summerfest block party at Barstool in Nashville.
- 17:51Speaker 6: On the way with the Game of the Day, Ricky,
- 17:55Speaker 6: Zach and men in the morning Game of the Day
- 17:57Speaker 6: on one oh seven five the River, We're playing who
- 17:59Speaker 6: is Zach?
- 18:01Speaker 3: For your Way into Summerfest block party this weekend at Barsool, Nashville.
- 18:05Speaker 3: Kara and Dixon welcome.
- 18:07Speaker 4: Don't blurt it out yet. You heard Zach's clues. Do
- 18:10Speaker 4: you feel confident with your guests?
- 18:12Speaker 5: Oh?
- 18:13Speaker 8: Not really, but we're gonna track all right.
- 18:15Speaker 4: I wish you the best. Here. Zach is gonna repeat
- 18:17Speaker 4: those clues one more time.
- 18:18Speaker 7: Zach, take it away, Hi, Kara. My parents' names are
- 18:21Speaker 7: Judy and Jim. I had my first hit song twenty
- 18:24Speaker 7: five years ago, in the year two thousand. My filming
- 18:27Speaker 7: credits include Charlie's Angels, Full Throttle and Happy Feet Too.
- 18:31Speaker 7: I also have my own vineyard, and I have two
- 18:34Speaker 7: kids with my husband Carrie.
- 18:36Speaker 2: All right, thank you, Zach, Kara and Dixon not feeling
- 18:39Speaker 2: so confident, But who is Zach?
- 18:43Speaker 6: Is it pink?
- 18:44Speaker 1: Yeah? Woa Jera? Why didn't even have to google that one?
- 18:50Speaker 4: Dang, that was crazy. I honestly didn't expect you to
- 18:53Speaker 4: get it right. You didn't seem very confident.
- 18:54Speaker 3: But congratulations, we're all super impresser rate Now, well that
- 18:58Speaker 3: was a long guest.
- 19:00Speaker 4: What was the giveaway for you? Like?
- 19:02Speaker 8: What made you think it was pink?
- 19:04Speaker 1: The husband?
- 19:05Speaker 8: Carrie?
- 19:06Speaker 4: Yeah, that was that was the big clue there.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Well, congrats, you're going this weekend Summerfest block party at
- 19:12Speaker 2: Barstool Nashville. Loud Luxury and Young Gravy are performing. Rihanna
- 19:15Speaker 2: Chicken Fries hosting, right Yep, it's gonna be a cool thing.
- 19:18Speaker 4: You'll be there.
- 19:19Speaker 8: Congrats, awesome, Thank you.
- 19:20Speaker 3: Hang on the line, love, We gotta get some infu
- 19:22Speaker 3: from you real quick.
- 19:23Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 19:24Speaker 4: We're playing again tomorrow. Gosh, do I make it even harder?
- 19:27Speaker 4: I thought today's was plenty hard, but she crushed it.
- 19:30Speaker 3: I'm really impressed, truly, because Zach and I both did
- 19:32Speaker 3: not get in any first through it.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Three things you need to know just a bit past
- 19:38Speaker 2: eight o'clock on this Wednesday morning, thanks for starting with us.
- 19:41Speaker 4: Ricky's got those three things.
- 19:42Speaker 3: Swifties are convinced that Taylor Swift is going to announce
- 19:45Speaker 3: something at the twenty twenty five AMA's. So days have
- 19:48Speaker 3: been searching for and deciphering Easter eggs from Taylor for years,
- 19:53Speaker 3: and they obviously just keep coming, so they've been busy.
- 19:56Speaker 3: There are lots of reasons floating around online as to
- 19:58Speaker 3: why Swifties thinks that she's going to anounce something big
- 20:00Speaker 3: at the AMAS. The two biggest ones are tied to
- 20:03Speaker 3: her online store, so fans noticed that it now covertly
- 20:08Speaker 3: spells out AMAS via the first letters of each word
- 20:13Speaker 3: and a four option menus. So it's apparel, music, accessories,
- 20:17Speaker 3: and sale. Also, her site currently has exactly twelve items
- 20:21Speaker 3: up for sale at twenty six percent off, which fans
- 20:24Speaker 3: have point out as two significant numbers. Okay, so, her
- 20:27Speaker 3: most recent album, Torture Poet's Department, was her eleventh studio album,
- 20:31Speaker 3: Meeting her next project would be her twelfth twelve items second,
- 20:36Speaker 3: twenty six percent off is a kind of strange amount
- 20:39Speaker 3: of money to have off. Normally it would be twenty
- 20:41Speaker 3: five per sure off, but the Amas are happening May
- 20:45Speaker 3: twenty six.
- 20:46Speaker 4: And it's her favorite number thirteen times too.
- 20:49Speaker 3: Okay, interesting as well, I guess.
- 20:52Speaker 4: Yes, take you, so we will see.
- 20:55Speaker 3: We'll see May twenty six if she announces anything. But
- 20:58Speaker 3: that's the Swifties are thinking something's coming. The Bear has
- 21:02Speaker 3: released a date for their new season and I am
- 21:04Speaker 3: so excited. All ten episodes are going to be available
- 21:07Speaker 3: June twenty fifth on Hulu at seven pm our time.
- 21:10Speaker 3: So make sure you mark your calendar and do not
- 21:12Speaker 3: need me on June twenty six, because all I will
- 21:14Speaker 3: be doing is sitting in front of my TV and
- 21:16Speaker 3: watching The Bear. I'm so pumped about this. They have
- 21:19Speaker 3: a whole new like poster that came out. I'm I'm
- 21:23Speaker 3: hyped guys Hip Sight for the poster. Oh my god,
- 21:25Speaker 3: I love Jeremy Allen White. Yes, so I was very
- 21:28Speaker 3: excited to see the poster. And the Secret Bodega is
- 21:31Speaker 3: setting up a permanent spot inside Pearl Diver. Secret Podega
- 21:34Speaker 3: is a roaming food truck that's known for its playful
- 21:36Speaker 3: food combos. Now they've found a permanent spot inside Pearl Diver,
- 21:40Speaker 3: which the owner said, is a full circle moment for them,
- 21:44Speaker 3: as they first worked out of that kitchen and it's
- 21:47Speaker 3: where they went for inspiration when they started their venture.
- 21:49Speaker 3: They teased a happy hour menu, food collapse, and a
- 21:52Speaker 3: breakfast burrito window that's coming soon. Yeah, I said that,
- 21:56Speaker 3: and I look to write it. Kevines about that. Which
- 22:00Speaker 3: party is happening Monday, May nineteenth at four pm. Go
- 22:03Speaker 3: out and support obviously, we want to support everybody in
- 22:05Speaker 3: their new ventures. This is really exciting stuff. I'm Ricky
- 22:08Speaker 3: Sanchez and those are the three things.
- 22:09Speaker 1: You need to know. One O seven five the Haiky,
- 22:12Speaker 1: Zach and man in the morning.
- 22:14Speaker 3: Either of you have a friend that comes to mind
- 22:17Speaker 3: when you were younger that your parents did not want
- 22:19Speaker 3: you to hang out with. Yep, yeah, it's one of
- 22:21Speaker 3: seven five the river. Everyone has at least one of them.
- 22:25Speaker 3: And sometimes the parents are right, sometimes the parents are wrong.
- 22:28Speaker 3: It depends on the person. But we want to hear
- 22:31Speaker 3: your stories of the kid that your parents wouldn't let
- 22:33Speaker 3: you hang out.
- 22:34Speaker 2: With and why it is interesting looking back now through
- 22:37Speaker 2: a you know, a slightly older lens, the reasons maybe
- 22:40Speaker 2: that we weren't allowed to hang out with these certain
- 22:42Speaker 2: kids it totally makes sense now.
- 22:43Speaker 3: Some of them makes sense, Like I think back to
- 22:45Speaker 3: some of them and I go, oh yeah, and then
- 22:47Speaker 3: other ones I'm.
- 22:47Speaker 2: Like, you were a little judgy there, six, one, five, seven, three, seven, nine,
- 22:51Speaker 2: one or seven. I also want to know how many
- 22:53Speaker 2: kids for them. Ricky was that kid that they weren't
- 22:56Speaker 2: allowed You grew up and Ricky is yours.
- 23:01Speaker 4: Now we want to hear your stories if they if
- 23:03Speaker 4: you had a kid like that?
- 23:05Speaker 1: Seven Ricky, Zach and Menno in the Morning.
- 23:08Speaker 3: What's the story of the kid you weren't allowed to
- 23:11Speaker 3: hang out with when you were younger? We all have one.
- 23:14Speaker 3: It's Ricky, Zach and Mano in the Morning on one
- 23:16Speaker 3: oh seven five the River, Tyler and Smyrna tell us
- 23:19Speaker 3: about the kid your parents didn't like you hanging out with.
- 23:22Speaker 9: Yeah, this kid was like my best friend I wasn't
- 23:26Speaker 9: allowed to hang out with. I didn't even know why.
- 23:28Speaker 9: I was just like why can't I just like, uh,
- 23:30Speaker 9: you know what's wrong with that? Wendy went, let me
- 23:33Speaker 9: know how old were you?
- 23:34Speaker 4: How old were you back when this was when this
- 23:36Speaker 4: is going on, I.
- 23:37Speaker 9: Was twelve years old, okay, And I didn't find out
- 23:40Speaker 9: until years later, like when I was like twenty, that
- 23:44Speaker 9: that kid was actually the child of my uncle's second
- 23:48Speaker 9: secret family.
- 23:50Speaker 3: Second secret. How many secret families Druggile have? What right?
- 23:55Speaker 1: Oh my god?
- 23:56Speaker 4: Getting more than one secret family? You know it's his
- 24:01Speaker 4: second Oh okay, his secret.
- 24:03Speaker 8: Second Oh my god.
- 24:05Speaker 3: I was like, this man is working over time.
- 24:08Speaker 4: One family. This guy's got three.
- 24:11Speaker 8: I mean, who knows, right, who knows?
- 24:13Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, there was one. Who's to say he
- 24:15Speaker 3: doesn't have another?
- 24:17Speaker 9: And so it turned out that dude was actually my cousin.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Yeah, so your parents were aware, they knew, and they
- 24:23Speaker 2: didn't want you because he was he represented your evil uncle. Yeah.
- 24:28Speaker 7: That is actually so wild to find out as an adult, like, hey,
- 24:31Speaker 7: my childhood best friend was actually my cousin.
- 24:33Speaker 3: What I mean, it makes sense, But you guys felt
- 24:36Speaker 3: so close though. Yeah.
- 24:38Speaker 9: I mean he was just a cool kid and we
- 24:39Speaker 9: played video games all the time, and he lived near me,
- 24:42Speaker 9: you know, So I.
- 24:43Speaker 8: Was just like, yeah, let's go, Tyler.
- 24:45Speaker 3: Have you spoken to a therapist about this?
- 24:49Speaker 9: I mean, this is my therapy.
- 24:51Speaker 8: Okay, we are not qualified.
- 24:54Speaker 3: I appreciate the thought, Tyler, thank you so much for
- 24:58Speaker 3: the wild story. We appreciate get it. No problem. Is
- 25:01Speaker 3: that uncle in your life now? No, I haven't seen
- 25:05Speaker 3: since Yeah, that kind of makes sense.
- 25:07Speaker 4: It does check out.
- 25:08Speaker 7: I can see the rest of the family like, uh
- 25:10Speaker 7: outcasting him basically.
- 25:12Speaker 4: And he's a busy guy, doesn't have time for going on.
- 25:16Speaker 3: Oh my god, thank you so much, Tyler.
- 25:18Speaker 8: I appreciate you.
- 25:19Speaker 2: All right. See, but we've already established that in Ricky's childhood,
- 25:22Speaker 2: she was the bad kid that a lot of kids.
- 25:25Speaker 4: Okay, well go ahead.
- 25:27Speaker 3: A lot of people thought I was the bad kid,
- 25:29Speaker 3: and that was just false information. I was a very
- 25:33Speaker 3: good kid.
- 25:34Speaker 7: She says that she's like looking into the sky, like
- 25:36Speaker 7: trying to convince us of this line.
- 25:38Speaker 3: I'll also say that because all of the parents thought
- 25:41Speaker 3: I was a bad kid, it made me want to
- 25:43Speaker 3: be a bad kid. So I had a lot of
- 25:45Speaker 3: moments where I just rebelled.
- 25:46Speaker 8: So it's their fault.
- 25:51Speaker 4: Did you have what of his kids in your life?
- 25:54Speaker 3: I did.
- 25:54Speaker 1: So.
- 25:54Speaker 7: I grew up in Mount Juliet, and I wanted to
- 25:56Speaker 7: be friends with this girl so bad. Her name was Macalla.
- 25:59Speaker 7: She was the cheer cap and and she was just
- 26:00Speaker 7: like the coolest person in school. But I was not
- 26:03Speaker 7: allowed to be friends with her anymore because she taught
- 26:05Speaker 7: me cuss words and I went home and asked my
- 26:07Speaker 7: mom what they meant, and my mom was like, let's
- 26:10Speaker 7: not hang out with her anymore.
- 26:12Speaker 3: That is adorable and anything back in when now you
- 26:14Speaker 3: think about.
- 26:14Speaker 4: You now, Yeah, Zach has taught me many customers.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Ricky and Zach and Meno in the morning, pat In.
- 26:23Speaker 4: Burns, who was that for you?
- 26:25Speaker 5: I did to this day still my best friends.
- 26:28Speaker 3: Oh okay, So was mom and dad wrong about your
- 26:32Speaker 3: best friend?
- 26:33Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 26:33Speaker 5: My mom thought that she's in trouble and that she
- 26:36Speaker 5: was gonna cause a bunch of drama and everything in
- 26:39Speaker 5: my life, and that she was the call for anything
- 26:42Speaker 5: that went bad in school. And we've never even had
- 26:45Speaker 5: an argument. We've been we're about to go vacation and
- 26:48Speaker 5: to celebrate our fifteenth anniversary.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Oh that's so.
- 26:51Speaker 4: Sweet, adorable, So is she? She is not actually trouble.
- 26:55Speaker 4: Your mom is just wrong about her.
- 26:57Speaker 5: We've never been into it any no drama before either
- 27:00Speaker 5: of us. We can sit there and hang out every
- 27:03Speaker 5: day for a month and not even have an argument,
- 27:06Speaker 5: not one.
- 27:07Speaker 3: That is so special, cat, because not many people have that.
- 27:09Speaker 3: And you said fifteen years that's a long time. How
- 27:12Speaker 3: old are you now?
- 27:13Speaker 5: Thirty one?
- 27:14Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 27:14Speaker 3: See, to keep a friend that long is a big
- 27:16Speaker 3: deal on half.
- 27:17Speaker 8: Of your life, which is crazy.
- 27:19Speaker 7: I did read an article the other day that was like,
- 27:21Speaker 7: if you're friends with somebody longer than seven years, and
- 27:23Speaker 7: you're going to be friends with them for life. So now, Kat,
- 27:25Speaker 7: you and your Bessie are friends for life.
- 27:28Speaker 3: Oh yeah, thank you for calling in this morning. We
- 27:30Speaker 3: appreciate you.
- 27:31Speaker 4: Yes, all right, bye.
- 27:32Speaker 2: Thank That was the story of the parents being wrong
- 27:35Speaker 2: about the bad kid. We'll see what Amanda in Shelbyville
- 27:37Speaker 2: has to say. Welcome to the river, go ahead. Who
- 27:39Speaker 2: is that kid?
- 27:40Speaker 1: For you? My friend?
- 27:42Speaker 3: What if Veronica do bye to my parents and said
- 27:47Speaker 3: that he was her brother?
- 27:49Speaker 4: Wait she said her husband was her brother.
- 27:52Speaker 2: Yeah, she was like sixteen when she got married because
- 27:56Speaker 2: she got emancipated and she but her husband was her brother.
- 28:02Speaker 8: And how did your parents find out that it was
- 28:04Speaker 8: actually her husband When.
- 28:05Speaker 5: He showed up at my parents house looking for her.
- 28:08Speaker 5: They had asked who he was, She's like, I'm her husband.
- 28:13Speaker 3: Oh my god, Abanda, this sounds like a Jerry Springer episode.
- 28:19Speaker 4: Did you and Veronica continue this friendship?
- 28:22Speaker 1: Stop being friends for the longest time, and now everyone
- 28:26Speaker 1: the while I will talk.
- 28:28Speaker 4: Okay, and she's still married to her brother.
- 28:30Speaker 1: Guys, now she's actually named to one of my best.
- 28:34Speaker 4: Friends, literally, Jerry Springer.
- 28:39Speaker 3: I feel like we could really dig deep on this,
- 28:42Speaker 3: that this is a whole story that unfortunately we don't
- 28:45Speaker 3: have time.
- 28:46Speaker 4: It's a good one though, thank you for bringing it
- 28:48Speaker 4: to us.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Heiky Zach. In the morning every.
- 28:53Speaker 2: Day about this time, bit before nine o'clock here on
- 28:56Speaker 2: one of seven five the River, we play some audio
- 28:58Speaker 2: from a video.
- 28:58Speaker 4: We call it the Daily Double Tab.
- 29:00Speaker 3: This one is a guy who found a bunch of
- 29:02Speaker 3: random objects around his home and he does the beat
- 29:05Speaker 3: to how we do by fifty cent using all of
- 29:07Speaker 3: the objects.
- 29:08Speaker 4: So good? Can you like? I haven't seen the video yet,
- 29:10Speaker 4: but i've heard the audio. What are some of the
- 29:11Speaker 4: things he's using?
- 29:12Speaker 3: At one point, he has glasses in front of him,
- 29:15Speaker 3: and he also uses like utensils and a JBL speaker. Okay,
- 29:20Speaker 3: it's not playing any music, just the speaker itself. So
- 29:22Speaker 3: he's using a bunch of different things a comb at
- 29:24Speaker 3: one point.
- 29:24Speaker 2: I don't mean to nitpick, but when you say glasses,
- 29:26Speaker 2: do you mean spectacles or drinking glasses.
- 29:29Speaker 3: Drinking glass, drinking glass. I'm sorry the what you said,
- 29:31Speaker 3: spectacles just sitting over the edge.
- 29:33Speaker 4: Okay, here it is. Here's today's Daily double.
