- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Hey, welcome to the Tailor Frecky Paul Show. Ha ha
- 0:09Speaker 2: ha ha. It's the almost Famous podcast and I am
- 0:12Speaker 2: here with Heather today breaking down the newest court moment
- 0:17Speaker 2: for Taylor Freakie Paul and her ex Dakota moments.
- 0:22Speaker 3: We've got an update on mins stuff too.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Yeah, wait, what happened there? I was trying to figure
- 0:27Speaker 2: that out. So we know that he was denied the
- 0:30Speaker 2: restraining order last week, and we weren't sure that yesterday's
- 0:35Speaker 2: court appearance would had anything to do with Tate, but
- 0:38Speaker 2: it did.
- 0:39Speaker 4: No, I don't think yesterday's had to do with Tate,
- 0:42Speaker 4: but it seems like there's additional proceedings going on separately
- 0:48Speaker 4: pertaining to the custody of those children too, right now,
- 0:51Speaker 4: so we can get into all of that.
- 0:53Speaker 2: All right, So let's let's start with that. Taylor and
- 0:57Speaker 2: her ex Tate have not had a lot of issues
- 1:02Speaker 2: that have been public as we've known, but last week
- 1:06Speaker 2: he tried to get a restraining order from her after
- 1:09Speaker 2: he found out that she went to rehab, a voluntary
- 1:13Speaker 2: rehab stint that we believe lasted a week or less less.
- 1:17Speaker 3: So that was confirmed yesterday. It was two.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Days, oh goodness gracious.
- 1:22Speaker 4: And it fell over Father's Day and she was like
- 1:26Speaker 4: the Father's Day weekend, and she was very intentional with
- 1:29Speaker 4: that because she knew that she wouldn't miss visitation with
- 1:33Speaker 4: her youngest child because he would be with Dakota. So
- 1:37Speaker 4: that was actually explained yesterday during her court hearing with Dakota.
- 1:43Speaker 2: So because of that call, she was asked now by
- 1:48Speaker 2: the courts to do drug testing and alcohol testing. And
- 1:52Speaker 2: they're not going to just do something that's like a
- 1:54Speaker 2: breathalyzer or anything like that. It's going to be a
- 1:57Speaker 2: fifteen panel hair or nail tests as well as a
- 2:02Speaker 2: peth test for alcohol. So basically this means that it's
- 2:06Speaker 2: going to do research. This test will find out whether
- 2:10Speaker 2: or not she's taken any prescription drugs, alcohol, recreational drugs
- 2:15Speaker 2: for like the past million months, right.
- 2:19Speaker 4: Prescription to be very clear, prescription drugs other than what
- 2:22Speaker 4: she is currently being prescribed for her depression and anxiety.
- 2:29Speaker 4: So this is the thing. She didn't tell Tate that
- 2:33Speaker 4: she was going to rehab, so now he is using
- 2:38Speaker 4: this as like, I didn't know why you were going
- 2:41Speaker 4: to rehab like you didn't alert me, like, and so
- 2:44Speaker 4: he's using this and Taylor has been very vocal about
- 2:48Speaker 4: this on her socials that she went to seek help
- 2:51Speaker 4: and now it's getting used against her. In her hearing
- 2:55Speaker 4: yesterday with Dakota, it was brought up that she volunteered
- 3:00Speaker 4: went to rehab because she was transitioning into a new
- 3:04Speaker 4: medication and she wanted to make sure that she had
- 3:09Speaker 4: the right people around her in case that there was
- 3:12Speaker 4: some sort of reaction or.
- 3:14Speaker 2: That's actually would react. It's very because we all we
- 3:18Speaker 2: all hear on the commercials if you don't know firsthand
- 3:21Speaker 2: that a lot of times, going on certain antidepressants could
- 3:25Speaker 2: actually lead you to suicidal suicidal thoughts. H. So she
- 3:29Speaker 2: was being pretty responsible and doing that.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Now.
- 3:31Speaker 2: I don't understand why it would only be two days,
- 3:33Speaker 2: but that's I mean, you were saying it could have
- 3:36Speaker 2: been the Father's day thing. Maybe she's in and out,
- 3:39Speaker 2: who the heck.
- 3:39Speaker 4: Knows, Yeah, but either way, so it looks like she's
- 3:42Speaker 4: offered to do this hair sample thing in order to,
- 3:47Speaker 4: you know, help with the visitation. It seems like things
- 3:51Speaker 4: are kind of in limbo right now with her other
- 3:53Speaker 4: two children. Yeah, because she will have to share these
- 3:57Speaker 4: with the results with DC, it says, wishing to review
- 4:02Speaker 4: her treatment records, and that she submitted the fifteen panel
- 4:06Speaker 4: hair or nail test as well as the Peth test
- 4:08Speaker 4: for alcohol. If it's negative, Tate shall reimburse her for.
- 4:13Speaker 2: What does that mean the test? Okay? Oh? Is the
- 4:17Speaker 2: test gonna be pricey?
- 4:19Speaker 4: I'm sure it's not cheap to do. Uh, you know
- 4:24Speaker 4: something that's not a breathalyzer. She must take her prescriptions
- 4:27Speaker 4: with her and have a doctor verified that the levels
- 4:30Speaker 4: in her system are consistent with her prescribed dosage. The
- 4:34Speaker 4: ruling said, and the results of Taylor's sobriety test will
- 4:36Speaker 4: be subject to a strict protective order until such as
- 4:42Speaker 4: the results have been issued. Taylor's parent time shall be supervised.
- 4:47Speaker 4: It is in both parties' best interests that this supervision
- 4:50Speaker 4: be professional so that there is an independent third party
- 4:54Speaker 4: observing the interactions between mother and child.
- 4:57Speaker 3: A judge rule.
- 4:59Speaker 2: So basically, she is going from having what's a supervised
- 5:05Speaker 2: visitation status with EVER now.
- 5:07Speaker 4: Well that got increased as of yesterday, so she's having
- 5:11Speaker 4: unsupervised visits with Ever supervised.
- 5:14Speaker 2: But she now her other two kids will be supervised.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:18Speaker 4: I mean, oh gosh, it's very unfortunate, I think for
- 5:24Speaker 4: everybody involved. And we can get into again our speculations
- 5:29Speaker 4: about the show quote unquote airing now, well, you.
- 5:33Speaker 2: And I I feel like when we stepped on today
- 5:36Speaker 2: for the first time in a long time, I was like,
- 5:38Speaker 2: why are we even doing I mean, I know why
- 5:41Speaker 2: we're doing this. We have no other Bachelor news to cover, however,
- 5:46Speaker 2: like she's not a Bachelor Nation member anymore. She just
- 5:50Speaker 2: isn't because there's no way this is gonna air.
- 5:53Speaker 4: Let me just check Taylor's Instagram while we're on here.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Did we even go through what she posted?
- 5:59Speaker 4: Was it sat?
- 6:01Speaker 2: No? It was almost too much? Guys, it was too much.
- 6:04Speaker 4: I literally what did I say when I sent it?
- 6:07Speaker 4: I said, buckle up, and I sent the photos.
- 6:10Speaker 2: I have another friend who sent me everything that morning too.
- 6:13Speaker 4: It Listen, Taylor has got She's She's made headlines again
- 6:17Speaker 4: this week for changing her status bio on Instagram. It
- 6:23Speaker 4: now reads creator of mom Talk, Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,
- 6:27Speaker 4: Bachelorette Jesus is King. You know, she's gotten some some
- 6:32Speaker 4: flak for that, But let me just tell you her
- 6:36Speaker 4: most recent Instagram story is a picture of her looking
- 6:39Speaker 4: at the camera. It says, today was extremely difficult. Meanwhile,
- 6:42Speaker 4: there has been at least twelve plus people throughout this
- 6:45Speaker 4: trying to make it harder. Thank you God for revealing
- 6:48Speaker 4: them all. I want to be nothing like them. They bully,
- 6:51Speaker 4: I defend myself, not the same. Pay attention how this
- 6:55Speaker 4: plays out, I trust. And then after that she posted
- 6:58Speaker 4: the most needed remod and then it's a passage highlighted
- 7:03Speaker 4: from her worship book that we know she follows. Yeah,
- 7:08Speaker 4: I think we'll get into the Dakota stuff that happened
- 7:11Speaker 4: in that because it looks like, you know, he.
- 7:13Speaker 3: Got a little slap on the wrist.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Let's get into that for a second, because it rolls
- 7:19Speaker 2: over the judge was like, oh, hey, by the way,
- 7:22Speaker 2: could you stop talking about each other on social media?
- 7:25Speaker 2: So that's one of the slaps on the rest that
- 7:27Speaker 2: they got.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Wait where did they say that?
- 7:29Speaker 2: It says and reiterated that neither of them should be
- 7:34Speaker 2: talking badly about each other on social media.
- 7:36Speaker 4: I mean perfect, I mean that. What's crazy is that
- 7:39Speaker 4: was part of the initial the initial thing. Yes, that
- 7:43Speaker 4: was that he granted last month.
- 7:45Speaker 2: So so this is crazy too. Dakota is out there
- 7:51Speaker 2: taking ever a two year old on a motorcycle. I'm sorry.
- 8:00Speaker 4: Now I watched the footage of this scene because this
- 8:05Speaker 4: court appearance was put out on the internet.
- 8:08Speaker 3: I did not watch the whole thing, but I did
- 8:10Speaker 3: watch this clip.
- 8:11Speaker 4: And Dakota's lawyer said, it's not really a motorcycle, it's
- 8:15Speaker 4: an e bike. And the judge goes, it's a motorcycle.
- 8:19Speaker 4: He's two too. Okay, judge goes, he's two, he's not twelve.
- 8:24Speaker 4: And he's like, so we're not going to do that anymore.
- 8:27Speaker 4: And then the Dakota's laurier was like, well, you can
- 8:29Speaker 4: see in the photo that the child has a helmet. Like,
- 8:34Speaker 4: we're wondering why this is even being brought up.
- 8:36Speaker 5: How do you even strap a child to a e bike?
- 8:40Speaker 5: The judge just goes, he's two, he's twelve. So he
- 8:45Speaker 5: was like, so we're not doing that anymore. Oh my gosh,
- 8:47Speaker 5: I won't even let Jared go on a motorcycle. My dad,
- 8:51Speaker 5: my dad, doctor, dad calls them suicycles.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:56Speaker 4: So yeah, that was one thing, and then there was
- 8:59Speaker 4: some back and forth. Obviously, it says that Dakota thinks
- 9:06Speaker 4: that he claims that his son's crying is quote unquote
- 9:11Speaker 4: annoying to Taylor.
- 9:12Speaker 3: So this was like in private text messages in the.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Past, where they actually exchanged tech messages directly, as they
- 9:22Speaker 2: are in the past two months or so not able
- 9:24Speaker 2: to text each other directly.
- 9:26Speaker 3: Yeah, says claims.
- 9:27Speaker 4: Taylor called their son Evers cries for him annoying in
- 9:31Speaker 4: a private text message, and we're told it's TMZ is
- 9:34Speaker 4: told it's one of several explosive alleged admissions his attorneys
- 9:38Speaker 4: are putting before a judge in their custody battle. In
- 9:41Speaker 4: the court docs obtained by TMZ, Dakota's legal team filed Emotion,
- 9:45Speaker 4: asking a judge to set aside a previous stipulation ahead
- 9:49Speaker 4: of the hearing yesterday, attached dozens of exhibits they say
- 9:53Speaker 4: contain text conversations between the exes. According to exhibit titles,
- 9:57Speaker 4: Dakota alleges Taylor said Ever cries for him. Ever's cries
- 10:02Speaker 4: for him were annoying, admitted he didn't deserve the domestic violence.
- 10:08Speaker 3: I'm not laughing.
- 10:09Speaker 5: I'm just.
- 10:11Speaker 3: It's wild these things that I'm reading.
- 10:14Speaker 4: Planned to sabotage Dakota and mocked his safety concerns. Other
- 10:18Speaker 4: exhibits are described as showing Taylor asking Dakota to disparage
- 10:24Speaker 4: two unidentified people, baiting him during multiple exchanges, admitting she disassociates,
- 10:30Speaker 4: provoking him over a medical issue before attacking him, sending
- 10:35Speaker 4: dozens of unanswered texts between midnight and four am, sending
- 10:39Speaker 4: graphically intimate messages about Dakota's lip tattoo, and cycling from
- 10:45Speaker 4: arousal to anger in her texts. In addition to the exhibits,
- 10:49Speaker 4: Dakota's legal team submitted declarations from two witnesses in support
- 10:53Speaker 4: of the motion. I could guess who one of those is,
- 10:55Speaker 4: although they don't know the contents of those declarations. A
- 11:00Speaker 4: source close to Taylor's team tells TMZ the other side
- 11:04Speaker 4: continues to wage a misinformation campaign against her, twisting facts
- 11:08Speaker 4: and taking them out of context. TMZ is told Taylor
- 11:11Speaker 4: looks forward to addressing these in the court through the
- 11:15Speaker 4: proper channels, and you know, which is what they did.
- 11:19Speaker 4: And then they got into some he said, she said
- 11:22Speaker 4: text messages through Taylor's sister Aspen, which that was weird
- 11:29Speaker 4: to me. And we are gonna have to get our
- 11:31Speaker 4: legal experts.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Can we talk about the fact that there's a Dakota
- 11:34Speaker 2: involved in an aspen.
- 11:36Speaker 4: It's so funny, But Taylor's sister is very young, like
- 11:41Speaker 4: she is on the show. She should definitely not be
- 11:46Speaker 4: any sort of mediator go between person in this situation.
- 11:51Speaker 3: She I mean, there's she should not be.
- 11:53Speaker 4: But we're gonna have to get our legal expert back on.
- 11:55Speaker 4: She's on vacation enjoying life right now, which she should.
- 12:00Speaker 4: But I need to know how this order of protection
- 12:04Speaker 4: is not impacting the sister, like she should not be
- 12:07Speaker 4: involved in any of these text messages.
- 12:10Speaker 2: The text message is old, because obviously all these other
- 12:14Speaker 2: things that Taylor that Dakota's team is trying to bring
- 12:17Speaker 2: in right now are old. The crying texts and that
- 12:22Speaker 2: you didn't deserve domestic violence text and the lip tattoo.
- 12:27Speaker 4: I don't know the dates of them, but I will
- 12:30Speaker 4: say the clips that I watched, it said that her
- 12:34Speaker 4: team said that the text messages from Taylor's sister were
- 12:39Speaker 4: heavily redacted. That they said like it was like fractions
- 12:43Speaker 4: of conversations, and that she had the like lengthier versions
- 12:48Speaker 4: to prove that, like what was submitted in court was
- 12:51Speaker 4: not actually factual of those text messages. So We'll have
- 12:56Speaker 4: to see how this kind of unfolds, because you know,
- 12:59Speaker 4: obviously each side is saying something different. But the positive
- 13:03Speaker 4: outcome in all of this for Taylor was the visitation
- 13:09Speaker 4: elements getting changed.
- 13:12Speaker 2: She gets a little bit extra time, like in the
- 13:14Speaker 2: morning on a Monday, it says.
- 13:17Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 13:17Speaker 4: So at the hearing, the judge expanded Taylor's parent time
- 13:21Speaker 4: to extend her weekends with Ever through Monday morning. It
- 13:25Speaker 4: says that the judge also ordered that Ever only be
- 13:28Speaker 4: transported in an enclosed vehicle with age appropriate safety measures
- 13:34Speaker 4: met with age appropriate safety measures, and he reiterated in
- 13:40Speaker 4: an earlier order for neither Dakota or Taylor to make
- 13:44Speaker 4: disparaging remarks about the other on social media.
- 13:55Speaker 6: Hey there, Amy Robot and TJ Holmes here from the
- 13:57Speaker 6: Amy and TJ podcast, where we are doing it's the
- 14:00Speaker 6: exact opposite of taking a summer vacation.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I can't do that.
- 14:03Speaker 6: There's entirely too much going on in the world right
- 14:06Speaker 6: now to not be talking about all this stuff. Yes,
- 14:09Speaker 6: drama at the White House, drama at the World Cup,
- 14:11Speaker 6: drama about the Reflecting pool, and yes, drama at the
- 14:14Speaker 6: Villa pool on Love Island all day every day, we
- 14:17Speaker 6: have you covered with the latest breaking news in the
- 14:19Speaker 6: stories everyone will be talking about. Listen to Amy and
- 14:22Speaker 6: TJ on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you
- 14:26Speaker 6: listen to podcasts.
- 14:28Speaker 7: Welcome to the Orange Doesn't Fall Far, the podcast where
- 14:31Speaker 7: Reality TV meets real life.
- 14:33Speaker 2: I'm Tamra, Judge and I'm Sophia.
- 14:35Speaker 7: Each week we're spilling the tea on pop culture, relationships, motherhood, dating, drama,
- 14:41Speaker 7: and what it's really like growing up in the middle
- 14:43Speaker 7: of reality TV chaos. One of us lived it, one
- 14:46Speaker 7: of us survived it. Listen to The Orange Doesn't Fall Far.
- 14:49Speaker 7: Available on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, and wherever you
- 14:53Speaker 7: get your podcasts.
- 14:59Speaker 2: So basically, Dakota's team is still trying to get evidence
- 15:04Speaker 2: as to why she should have him less.
- 15:06Speaker 3: I guess that's his ultimate goal.
- 15:08Speaker 1: I know.
- 15:09Speaker 2: So I'm like, why can't we just like, can we
- 15:10Speaker 2: just start fresh? Cause just have a clean slate? Is
- 15:13Speaker 2: his goal? Is his goal just to have him like more?
- 15:16Speaker 2: Because I just is that his goal is just to
- 15:19Speaker 2: prevent him from being with the mom as much as
- 15:21Speaker 2: he can.
- 15:22Speaker 4: This hasn't been brought up, but obviously I'm not a
- 15:25Speaker 4: legal expert. But I'm wondering if this is a way
- 15:30Speaker 4: to gain child support from her, because that hasn't been
- 15:34Speaker 4: discussed yet about like what's happening with that?
- 15:38Speaker 2: How does that work if you you were never married?
- 15:40Speaker 3: Because I'm wondering, you got to go through the court system.
- 15:43Speaker 2: I think, yeah, okay, because I'm not familiar with cases
- 15:47Speaker 2: and child support when they were never This is what
- 15:50Speaker 2: I say.
- 15:50Speaker 4: We got to get the legal expert back on because
- 15:52Speaker 4: we got to ask about that because I'm I'm confused too,
- 15:56Speaker 4: like what is his end goal? Is his end goal
- 15:59Speaker 4: in what her you know, perception is of this case
- 16:03Speaker 4: and her legal background. Is he trying to gain more
- 16:06Speaker 4: custody so then there can be some sort of child
- 16:11Speaker 4: support situation that is then made final. I don't know,
- 16:16Speaker 4: So we'll have to figure this out. But I now
- 16:20Speaker 4: still am standing firmly on we are not going to
- 16:24Speaker 4: see that season.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Never never her.
- 16:29Speaker 4: You cannot air this season with your lead in the
- 16:34Speaker 4: midst of the eye of the storm like this, and
- 16:36Speaker 4: second of all, expressing that she's mentally needing to make
- 16:43Speaker 4: sure she's around experts because she's in a state that
- 16:49Speaker 4: she doesn't know what could possibly happen positive or negative.
- 16:53Speaker 4: It's now at a place where morally it would look
- 16:56Speaker 4: really bad for the show if they were to attempt
- 17:00Speaker 4: to put this out and make her go do press
- 17:03Speaker 4: and face scrutiny, Like it would be wildly irresponsible of
- 17:07Speaker 4: them to do something like that to her. She needs
- 17:11Speaker 4: to be focused on this, and she is focused. She
- 17:15Speaker 4: is very focused on her children and that aspect of
- 17:18Speaker 4: her life. And I think that she is making the
- 17:23Speaker 4: right steps, I really do. I just think that adding
- 17:29Speaker 4: a television show on top of that is not what
- 17:33Speaker 4: she needs right now.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Not at all. Is There's no way And it's unreal
- 17:37Speaker 2: because like three weeks ago, we were saying such opposite things.
- 17:41Speaker 2: We're like, it's good, it could happen. It could happen. Oh,
- 17:46Speaker 2: I apologize for saying that. Now I feel wrong.
- 17:49Speaker 4: I mean, I think that we all thought it was
- 17:52Speaker 4: was turning in a positive way.
- 17:54Speaker 2: The Tate thing, really to the Tate thing.
- 17:56Speaker 4: This is why any pending legal stuff is always really
- 18:01Speaker 4: tricky for anybody to ever get on a television show.
- 18:04Speaker 4: And I've never gotten anybody on TV with pending legal
- 18:06Speaker 4: issues because it can't. Things can flip on a dime
- 18:11Speaker 4: and you things can change where it looks like it's
- 18:13Speaker 4: going positively and then it turns negatively and it's like
- 18:17Speaker 4: they just people. Networks don't usually want to take the
- 18:20Speaker 4: risk in any sort of pending litigation, which is why
- 18:22Speaker 4: it tends to be a no.
- 18:25Speaker 3: So that's why I was.
- 18:26Speaker 4: Like, if this kid stuff had gotten resolved by now
- 18:30Speaker 4: and yesterday had kind of like been like the end
- 18:33Speaker 4: of it, I think that there still could have been
- 18:35Speaker 4: a chance. But yeah, once this Taate stuff got brought up,
- 18:38Speaker 4: I really think that we doubled back on can't do it,
- 18:43Speaker 4: can't do it?
- 18:44Speaker 2: All right, guys, Well, Heather and I are going to
- 18:46Speaker 2: record a Headlines episode that doesn't have to do with
- 18:50Speaker 2: Taylor frekeypall Well. Actually she's gonna make her way in
- 18:52Speaker 2: the a little bit, a little bit until next time.
- 18:55Speaker 2: Until you hear that I've been Ashley, I've been Heather,
- 18:59Speaker 2: right bye.
