- 0:14Speaker 2: feeling i know you were getting sick last week and
- 0:16Speaker 2: you were taking.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Your echinacea no i was taking my armor force which
- 0:20Speaker 1: has echinacea in it oh yeah it's got all of
- 0:22Speaker 1: the vitamins in it all the bullshit ones yeah i'm
- 0:25Speaker 1: definitely not better, but I'm not worse.
- 0:28Speaker 3: Holding in there.
- 0:30Speaker 1: I'm somewhere. I'm a bit phlegmy.
- 0:33Speaker 3: Oh, good.
- 0:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 0:34Speaker 3: Oh, well, we're here.
- 0:35Speaker 1: I've got my tissues here.
- 0:36Speaker 5: I'm here.
- 0:36Speaker 1: That's all that matters, right?
- 0:37Speaker 3: Yeah, as long as we power through. I turned up
- 0:38Speaker 3: for work.
- 0:39Speaker 1: I did not call in sick.
- 0:40Speaker 4: Nah.
- 0:41Speaker 3: Hey, Sean's here. Morning, man. Good morning.
- 0:43Speaker 5: How are we?
- 0:44Speaker 3: We are good. I filled up fuel yesterday.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Oh, so did I.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Did you? It's a Sunday ritual, isn't it?
- 0:50Speaker 1: Only three quarters of a tank as well.
- 0:53Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 0:53Speaker 1: And I was... shocked at how much I had to pay.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Well, like, there's more trouble over in the Middle East.
- 0:59Speaker 2: They've closed another waterway, so it's going up again. Well,
- 1:02Speaker 2: what's the latest there, man?
- 1:03Speaker 7: Yeah, so now the pressure's on the PM, and they're asking,
- 1:06Speaker 7: you know, whether there's going to be more cuts to
- 1:07Speaker 7: the fuel excise. Obviously, it brings the petrol down. And apparently,
- 1:12Speaker 7: he is considering and keeping an open mind about it.
- 1:15Speaker 3: About taking it down.
- 1:16Speaker 7: Yeah, this week could be because, like you said, I
- 1:18Speaker 7: filled up yesterday as well.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Oh, look at us go.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Does everyone do it on a Sunday? It lasts all
- 1:24Speaker 2: week or something like that.
- 1:25Speaker 7: Yeah, and it's just crazy. The prices are just astronomical
- 1:28Speaker 7: at the moment. So hopefully there's some good news.
- 1:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:31Speaker 3: You had that electric car going for a while.
- 1:33Speaker 1: I've never missed any car more than I do that
- 1:35Speaker 1: electric car.
- 1:36Speaker 3: How were you charging that? At home?
- 1:37Speaker 1: Just at home, yeah.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Just plugging it into the wall?
- 1:40Speaker 1: You literally just plug it in. So I think if
- 1:42Speaker 1: you have an electric car, you can buy like a
- 1:43Speaker 1: faster charging unit. So if I had bought it, I
- 1:47Speaker 1: would have bought the faster charging unit for home because
- 1:51Speaker 1: I was just babysitting it. I just plugged it into
- 1:54Speaker 1: the wall like I was charging my phone.
- 1:56Speaker 3: But did it take all night?
- 1:58Speaker 1: It was only like a 2.4 watts charge. So I
- 2:01Speaker 1: would never, like, I would just charge it. If you
- 2:04Speaker 1: plug it in every single night, it just charges.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Like your phone.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Like my phone. It would only get, like, 10%. But
- 2:11Speaker 1: I would never really let it get down to past 80. Right.
- 2:14Speaker 1: The only time I ever had to go to a
- 2:16Speaker 1: proper charging station was if I did big trips, like,
- 2:18Speaker 1: to see my parents, you know, three hours down the
- 2:21Speaker 1: coast or something like that.
- 2:22Speaker 3: But they're around.
- 2:23Speaker 1: They're around, yeah.
- 2:24Speaker 3: They're everywhere. Don't you have an electric, Sean? I do
- 2:26Speaker 3: have an electric. Why did you fill up fuel yesterday, though,
- 2:28Speaker 3: just for fun?
- 2:29Speaker 5: I was in my wife's car.
- 2:30Speaker 8: Oh, he was being a good husband.
- 2:32Speaker 5: So I filled it up for her.
- 2:34Speaker 2: I like that you have an electric but not your wife.
- 2:36Speaker 2: You're like, no, you can have an old leaded petrol car.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Maybe Sean needed a new car and he bought himself
- 2:43Speaker 1: an electric.
- 2:43Speaker 9: Yeah, and my one was like one of the cheap
- 2:45Speaker 9: electrics back in the day.
- 2:46Speaker 1: It's pretty crap, my electric, but it still does the job.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Can I just say, Sean, though, as somebody whose husband
- 2:53Speaker 1: never very often fills up my car, that is going
- 2:57Speaker 1: to get you so many brownie points. Like one time
- 3:00Speaker 1: before we went to Italy, I came home and Ryan
- 3:03Speaker 1: had filled my entire tank up and he never does
- 3:06Speaker 1: that because I hate putting in petrol.
- 3:09Speaker 3: It turns you on when he fills your tank up,
- 3:10Speaker 3: doesn't it?
- 3:11Speaker 1: Yes, it does. I was very turned on. I was like, you,
- 3:14Speaker 1: upstairs now.
- 3:15Speaker 3: I knew that. I knew someone who's like in their relationship.
- 3:19Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 3:20Speaker 2: That was his job. You know, you have the mowing
- 3:22Speaker 2: the lawn, the put the bins out.
- 3:23Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:23Speaker 2: His job was to always go and fill the cars up,
- 3:26Speaker 2: both cars.
- 3:26Speaker 1: I mean, that's definitely not one of Ryan's jobs, which
- 3:29Speaker 1: is why I appreciate it when he does do it.
- 3:30Speaker 2: Now, if you borrow someone's car, like I had to
- 3:33Speaker 2: borrow my mum's car for a while there because mine
- 3:35Speaker 2: was getting fixed.
- 3:35Speaker 1: You absolutely return it with a full tank.
- 3:37Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I looked at it and it was almost on
- 3:39Speaker 2: zero and I'm like, oh, I've got it, right?
- 3:41Speaker 3: I can't just give it back to them on zero.
- 3:43Speaker 1: No, you can't, Mikey. The fact you haven't thought about it.
- 3:46Speaker 8: You pleb.
- 3:47Speaker 3: Talking of, you run on a story about cabbies. Yeah. Yeah,
- 3:51Speaker 3: what's going on with them?
- 3:52Speaker 7: Cabbies that have been caught overcharging. They've been kicked off
- 3:56Speaker 7: the taxi network. More than 100 drivers have been blacklisted
- 4:00Speaker 7: by 1-3 cabs, silver service.
- 4:01Speaker 5: In the last three months.
- 4:03Speaker 7: So the crackdown is happening, but it's pretty disastrous to
- 4:06Speaker 7: see that, like, you know, it's just happened. Like 100
- 4:09Speaker 7: drivers in the last few months.
- 4:10Speaker 9: So, like, there are a lot of drivers that are
- 4:12Speaker 9: still doing it.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Yeah, like they're meant to follow the meter, right?
- 4:15Speaker 3: They don't. Yeah, they'll always try and get more.
- 4:17Speaker 1: I used to, because where I am from the city,
- 4:20Speaker 1: it's about, what, 50?
- 4:21Speaker 5: 40?
- 4:21Speaker 1: 45, 50 minutes. At the time that I was going home,
- 4:24Speaker 1: you could get there quicker. But they would drive up
- 4:27Speaker 1: to me and I'd say, hey, I need to go
- 4:29Speaker 1: to this suburb. And they'd just speed off. And I
- 4:31Speaker 1: was like, you can't pick and choose.
- 4:33Speaker 3: You're a transport.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Yeah, well, they could back then.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Well, no, it was illegal. They still do.
- 4:39Speaker 2: I grew up a suburb away from you, Amy. I
- 4:41Speaker 2: copped it as well. I remember you're in this city.
- 4:42Speaker 2: You've had a big night out. They never wanted to
- 4:44Speaker 2: take boys, by the way.
- 4:45Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Like five boys, four boys. But yeah, they'd literally put
- 4:49Speaker 2: the window down and they'd go, where are you going?
- 4:52Speaker 2: You tell them and they'd just go and drive off.
- 4:55Speaker 1: So rude. I had one the other day where I
- 4:57Speaker 1: was standing on the side of the street in the
- 4:59Speaker 1: city where he wound down the window and I said, Oh,
- 5:01Speaker 1: can I go here? And he said, yep. And I said, Oh,
- 5:05Speaker 1: and he goes, Oh, a hundred dollars.
- 5:06Speaker 5: No.
- 5:07Speaker 1: And I was like, no, but he screwed himself because
- 5:10Speaker 1: I was like, Yeah, okay.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Because it was in the middle of the day.
- 5:13Speaker 1: And then he put the meter on and it was
- 5:14Speaker 1: like $ 140. And I was like, nah, you said $ 100.
- 5:17Speaker 1: And he was trying to get me to pay $ 140.
- 5:19Speaker 1: I was like, buddy, you told me $ 100.
- 5:21Speaker 2: It's a good thing about Uber, right? It tells you
- 5:23Speaker 2: what it's going to be. I tried DD the other day.
- 5:26Speaker 2: You ever tried that one?
- 5:27Speaker 8: DD?
- 5:27Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like Uber, but... If you sign on, you
- 5:31Speaker 2: get like a whole bunch of discounts. I paid like
- 5:32Speaker 2: half price for what you typically pay.
- 5:35Speaker 1: D-I-D-I.
- 5:36Speaker 3: D-I-D-I. Okay. They're all on it. Every Uber driver's on like.
- 5:40Speaker 5: Okay. All of them.
- 5:41Speaker 3: All of them, yeah. Yeah, you're going to get a
- 5:43Speaker 3: double pass to Bruno Mars. These tickets are red hot.
- 5:47Speaker 3: So let's play Tradie versus Lady.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Hey, Suzanne. Good morning.
- 5:52Speaker 12: Good morning.
- 5:53Speaker 13: How are you going?
- 5:54Speaker 1: I'm good, thanks. Are you on your way to work?
- 5:56Speaker 1: Are you finishing your shift?
- 5:59Speaker 12: No, I'm just getting ready to go. Yep, starting at seven.
- 6:02Speaker 1: You work as a nurse?
- 6:03Speaker 13: I am, yeah.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Are you in the ER department?
- 6:06Speaker 13: No, I'm in the operating theatre.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Oh, gosh.
- 6:09Speaker 3: I was in hospital yesterday.
- 6:10Speaker 5: Yeah, what?
- 6:11Speaker 3: Well, I was going to visit my mum. She had
- 6:13Speaker 3: a knee done.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Oh, okay, yeah.
- 6:14Speaker 2: And I was walking in with my sister because my
- 6:16Speaker 2: sister works in a hospital. I was like, is it
- 6:18Speaker 2: depressing going to a hospital every day?
- 6:20Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 6:21Speaker 2: It sounds awful, but I hate going in to a hospital.
- 6:25Speaker 2: But when you work there, do you just get used
- 6:27Speaker 2: to it or what?
- 6:28Speaker 12: Yeah, it's very different, yeah.
- 6:30Speaker 1: And also you've got your work colleagues and so you've
- 6:33Speaker 1: got friends and whatnot there. So it's just be like
- 6:35Speaker 1: any other workplace.
- 6:35Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 6:36Speaker 3: I was there about 15 minutes. I was like, oh,
- 6:38Speaker 3: that's enough of mum. I got saved. The physio came in.
- 6:41Speaker 3: He goes, all right, time for your exercises. And I
- 6:44Speaker 3: was like, oh, sick. See you, mum.
- 6:46Speaker 1: You're like, I've done the right thing.
- 6:48Speaker 3: I've visited her.
- 6:48Speaker 1: I can leave now.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Yes, pretty much.
- 6:50Speaker 1: You are a top, top bloke. Susan, you're, Suzanne, sorry,
- 6:55Speaker 1: you're single with a son. How old's your little boy?
- 6:58Speaker 13: His chin.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Oh, sweet.
- 7:01Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 7:01Speaker 1: You drive a Nissan X-Trail. And what happened to you
- 7:07Speaker 1: when a patient came out of anesthesia? What did he
- 7:11Speaker 1: ask you?
- 7:13Speaker 10: He proposed to me.
- 7:14Speaker 13: I asked him to marry him.
- 7:16Speaker 3: That stuff could mess you up. Not saying he didn't
- 7:18Speaker 3: want to propose to you.
- 7:19Speaker 1: And had you met him before he actually went in?
- 7:22Speaker 13: No, never.
- 7:24Speaker 9: Oh, God.
- 7:24Speaker 1: It must have been love at first sight, you know?
- 7:26Speaker 10: Oh, it must have been.
- 7:28Speaker 13: But I did say to him, I don't think your
- 7:29Speaker 13: wife will be too happy.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Oh, you must see a lot, eh? Because that stuff, like,
- 7:34Speaker 2: you're way under it. And when you come out, people
- 7:36Speaker 2: are loopy, yeah?
- 7:37Speaker 12: Oh, they're out of it, yeah.
- 7:39Speaker 4: It's crazy.
- 7:39Speaker 1: I think... thoroughly enjoy a general anaesthetic.
- 7:42Speaker 3: Yeah, you want one for no reason?
- 7:45Speaker 1: I would enjoy a hospital visit just for a GA.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Just to have a deep, deep sleep.
- 7:51Speaker 3: That's what Michael Jackson's doctor was doing.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Bring him under.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Yeah, they ended up charging him. He was paying him
- 7:57Speaker 2: a heap of money just to drug him and it
- 7:59Speaker 2: was like anaesthetic grade drugs that he was getting just
- 8:02Speaker 2: to go to sleep every night.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Yeah. Would you do that if you were that loaded?
- 8:06Speaker 8: Yeah, can relate.
- 8:07Speaker 3: Well, he died from it, so be careful.
- 8:08Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 8:10Speaker 1: All right, weighing in at 80 kilos, it's sedated Suda Cezanne.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Good on you.
- 8:17Speaker 2: All right, let's meet our tradie, which is Mitchell.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Hello, Mitchell. How you doing, mate?
- 8:22Speaker 5: Hey, Mitch.
- 8:23Speaker 10: Morning, guys. How are we?
- 8:24Speaker 6: Good.
- 8:24Speaker 2: You're a landscaper up nice and early to go and
- 8:27Speaker 2: scape some land.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Is that what's happening today?
- 8:29Speaker 10: Yeah, pretty much. I'm just sitting in the car, just waiting.
- 8:32Speaker 3: Is it going off? Like, I've got a landscaper, mate.
- 8:35Speaker 3: He does really well.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Oh, my God. Can I talk quickly about that? I've
- 8:38Speaker 1: got a quote. for some landscaping in my house. Yeah.
- 8:42Speaker 1: And I originally got quoted a couple of hundred K
- 8:46Speaker 1: and the quote has come back.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Sorry, couple of hundred?
- 8:49Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 8:50Speaker 3: What are you having done?
- 8:51Speaker 1: Well, we're doing the whole front and the whole backyard.
- 8:53Speaker 3: Okay, yeah.
- 8:54Speaker 1: And then the quotes come back and it's like almost double.
- 8:57Speaker 3: And you're like, nah.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I sent it to a few builder mates and
- 9:01Speaker 1: they're like, oh, you're getting taken for a ride. Is
- 9:05Speaker 1: it that expensive, Mitch, or am I getting punked?
- 9:08Speaker 10: Some of it can be expensive. Material-wise, everything's gone up
- 9:12Speaker 10: so much now. And plus, we like getting paid.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Can I send you my quote, Mitchell, and you can
- 9:20Speaker 1: tell me where I'm getting ripped off?
- 9:21Speaker 10: Yeah, I can have a look.
- 9:22Speaker 8: You're done.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Why doesn't your lazy husband do it? My dad did
- 9:25Speaker 3: all the landscaping at our house. Just get out the
- 9:27Speaker 3: back and do it.
- 9:28Speaker 1: My husband is not lazy, but he is not handy.
- 9:32Speaker 13: Right.
- 9:32Speaker 1: You've got to play to your strengths, and he's not
- 9:34Speaker 1: like the fixer dude.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm the same. Yeah, yeah.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Oh, so you're lazy too then?
- 9:39Speaker 2: Yeah, and I got, you're right, I got ripped. I
- 9:41Speaker 2: needed my bushes trimmed. I think it was like a
- 9:43Speaker 2: thousand bucks.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Oh, no, Ryan does that. He can trim the bushes.
- 9:47Speaker 1: He just can't, like, lay tiles and concrete and stuff.
- 9:51Speaker 3: Hey, you're married with two boys. You've got a Triton yurt.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Now, you're a serial radio competition enterer.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Tell us the story. What did you win?
- 10:01Speaker 10: I've probably won a few grand in cash. I've won
- 10:06Speaker 10: an AFL grand final ticket. I've won a couple of trips.
- 10:10Speaker 8: Yep.
- 10:12Speaker 10: I just won a couple of pizza ovens.
- 10:13Speaker 5: Oh, wow.
- 10:14Speaker 3: You're all right.
- 10:15Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 10:17Speaker 1: You've got to be in it to win it, right?
- 10:18Speaker 10: That's exactly right.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Yeah, we regularly give away pizza ovens, so he must
- 10:22Speaker 2: have won on that day where we did one of them.
- 10:25Speaker 3: I was out with.
- 10:26Speaker 2: My girlfriend and her friends that I hadn't met before
- 10:29Speaker 2: on Saturday night.
- 10:31Speaker 3: And a number of them try and get through here
- 10:32Speaker 3: to Kiers to win. They wanted the.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Bruno Mars tickets, and they're like, why do you hate me?
- 10:37Speaker 2: Why don't you pick up? First of all, I don't
- 10:38Speaker 2: pick up the phone. Second of all, it just gets
- 10:41Speaker 2: really busy. The guys out there will tell you it's
- 10:44Speaker 2: hard to get through, but Mitchell, you just keep doing it, right?
- 10:46Speaker 3: You're always calling.
- 10:47Speaker 10: Yeah, that's right. That's people like me that get their
- 10:49Speaker 10: lines busy.
- 10:50Speaker 3: Yeah, it is, right?
- 10:51Speaker 1: It's always Mitchell on the phone.
- 10:53Speaker 3: You just got to try. Yeah, you do.
- 10:55Speaker 5: And you just got to be consistent.
- 10:56Speaker 10: Spam call. Just spam.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Over and over. All right, weighing in at 102 kilos,
- 11:01Speaker 3: it's the prize pig, Mitchell.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Prize pig.
- 11:06Speaker 5: All right, here we go.
- 11:07Speaker 3: Let's get his question. See if he can win once again.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Yeah, once again.
- 11:11Speaker 3: There we go.
- 11:13Speaker 1: All right, Mitchell. On Instagram, what's the maximum number of
- 11:17Speaker 1: pictures or videos that you can upload in a carousel post? Oh, jeez.
- 11:22Speaker 10: Let's just say six.
- 11:23Speaker 3: No. I think it needs to be less, yeah?
- 11:26Speaker 1: No, I love it. I love a big Instagram dump.
- 11:29Speaker 3: A big dump. So 20, 20, mate. Yep.
- 11:33Speaker 1: In a woman's labor, what is the afterbirth?
- 11:39Speaker 10: That's the placenta.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Yeah, pretty much. Did you eat yours, Amy?
- 11:45Speaker 1: I didn't eat mine, no. Did your wife eat hers, Mitchell?
- 11:48Speaker 10: No, no. I've seen that all come out and I
- 11:51Speaker 10: nearly passed out, so that wasn't fun for me.
- 11:54Speaker 7: They do ask you what you want to do with.
- 11:55Speaker 3: It straight away.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Well, because if you want to get it capsulated or
- 11:59Speaker 1: made into bloody smoothies, they come in with a bucket.
- 12:02Speaker 1: And then the person who does all that, she, like,
- 12:04Speaker 1: comes and picks it up from the hospital.
- 12:06Speaker 2: I had a hippie friend do it. Surely it can't
- 12:08Speaker 2: be that good for you that it's worth that effort.
- 12:10Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 12:11Speaker 1: Well, they say that the reason you give birth to
- 12:13Speaker 1: it afterwards is for a reason. It's crap. You're not
- 12:15Speaker 1: then meant to ingest it. But, hey, I'm no medical expert.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Nat, what are you going to do with yours?
- 12:20Speaker 8: I'm going to sell mine.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Oh.
- 12:22Speaker 8: I don't know. I need a fact check. But on
- 12:24Speaker 8: my socials that you can sell your placenta for like 50K.
- 12:27Speaker 3: Oh, bullshit.
- 12:28Speaker 8: He's like, let's make some money. I'm like, hell yeah.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:31Speaker 8: Because some people want the nutrients.
- 12:33Speaker 3: They want it that badly.
- 12:36Speaker 5: Yeah, man.
- 12:37Speaker 3: Sell it.
- 12:37Speaker 8: If you can, I will.
- 12:38Speaker 3: I don't care. It's not an OnlyFans thing.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:40Speaker 3: It's not that kind of stuff.
- 12:42Speaker 5: Facebook marketplace.
- 12:43Speaker 8: Where on OnlyFans have you seen human organs? Oh, hang on.
- 12:46Speaker 3: I haven't been on OnlyFans.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Yeah, good answer. All right, Mitch, question number three.
- 12:52Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Which everyday beauty product can you spray on dried flowers
- 12:57Speaker 1: to prevent shedding?
- 13:00Speaker 10: Hairspray.
- 13:03Speaker 3: Does that work?
- 13:04Speaker 1: I have never heard that, but it makes sense.
- 13:07Speaker 3: It was a good guess, was it, mate?
- 13:08Speaker 5: Good guess.
- 13:09Speaker 3: You're not walking around with hairspray?
- 13:12Speaker 10: No, I do that at work.
- 13:14Speaker 3: Good on you, mate. You got two.
- 13:16Speaker 2: All right, so we're going over to Suzanne. Let's see
- 13:19Speaker 2: how you go.
- 13:20Speaker 1: All right?
- 13:22Speaker 4: Yeah, let's give it a go.
- 13:23Speaker 5: Okay.
- 13:24Speaker 3: In tradie slang, what is a chicken in pyjamas?
- 13:29Speaker 14: Oh, my gosh.
- 13:30Speaker 13: A chicken in pyjamas.
- 13:32Speaker 3: Chicken in pyjamas.
- 13:34Speaker 12: I don't know.
- 13:36Speaker 3: Give it a go.
- 13:37Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 13:38Speaker 13: A chicken parmigiana.
- 13:40Speaker 3: Yay! I've got to say I've never heard that.
- 13:45Speaker 1: I've never heard that either. Maybe Mitchell has. He's a tradie.
- 13:48Speaker 3: Yeah, Mitchell?
- 13:49Speaker 10: Nope.
- 13:50Speaker 8: All right.
- 13:52Speaker 2: What is the purpose of chlorine in a swimming pool?
- 13:57Speaker 12: To kill the germs.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Yeah, you got two as well. I love these new
- 14:03Speaker 2: pools where they're like mineral. Have you heard about these?
- 14:07Speaker 1: Yeah, they're so nice to swim in.
- 14:08Speaker 3: Yeah, yours is chlorine, I imagine.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Mine's saltwater. Yeah, it's got a little bit of chlorine.
- 14:13Speaker 3: Chlorine, yeah. I love that idea.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Like you'd go in there, you'd have no smelly chlorine
- 14:17Speaker 2: on you or anything.
- 14:18Speaker 3: They're the new thing.
- 14:20Speaker 2: All right, here we go. This could determine it. What
- 14:23Speaker 2: does a cut man do?
- 14:25Speaker 3: A cut man.
- 14:26Speaker 9: C-U-P?
- 14:27Speaker 3: Oh, no, T.
- 14:28Speaker 5: C-U-T. Oh, cut man.
- 14:29Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 14:29Speaker 11: Um.
- 14:30Speaker 3: Uh.
- 14:39Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 14:40Speaker 3: No, you don't.
- 14:41Speaker 13: Cuts concrete?
- 14:43Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 14:44Speaker 2: No, they're like a cornerman in combat sports. They'll treat
- 14:47Speaker 2: the cut, swelling, nosebleeds in between rounds. So it's kind
- 14:52Speaker 2: of like you'd get in the footy with a trainer.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Helping you out, yeah.
- 14:56Speaker 3: Yeah, if you've got like a.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, yep.
- 14:58Speaker 13: Yep, yep.
- 14:59Speaker 1: All right, tiebreaker.
- 15:00Speaker 3: It is tiebreaker. So you're still there, Mitchell? You ready
- 15:03Speaker 3: to go? All right, Amy's going to read out the
- 15:05Speaker 3: question and then you just have to yell out the answer.
- 15:08Speaker 3: Good luck, guys.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Yes, good luck. What animal is in the Qantas logo?
- 15:13Speaker 3: Kangaroo.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Kangaroo.
- 15:15Speaker 3: He's done it again.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Oh, my God, he's done it again.
- 15:18Speaker 3: You really are a prize pick.
- 15:22Speaker 1: A high-powered Melbourne-based commercial lawyer, and we're not going to
- 15:24Speaker 1: name his name, he's dealing with the ultimate shame.
- 15:28Speaker 11: And.
- 15:29Speaker 1: I actually don't know how you turn up to work
- 15:31Speaker 1: after this.
- 15:32Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 15:34Speaker 1: He's accidentally left his camera on during a work meeting.
- 15:38Speaker 1: So he was on a Teams call with about seven
- 15:40Speaker 1: of his colleagues. One of them had a little baby
- 15:42Speaker 1: in the video with him. All men, thankfully. I feel
- 15:47Speaker 1: like this is a blessing in disguise here. And he's
- 15:50Speaker 1: decided to switch up his scenery, and you can kind
- 15:52Speaker 1: of see him. He's obviously carrying his laptop.
- 15:55Speaker 11: And.
- 15:56Speaker 1: You see him put it down and it's like at
- 15:59Speaker 1: a lower level to where he had had it on
- 16:01Speaker 1: his desk.
- 16:02Speaker 3: So like on the floor?
- 16:03Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Yep. And then you see him rise. And as I
- 16:07Speaker 1: was watching it, I was like, oh no, he's not. No.
- 16:10Speaker 1: And then he does exactly what you think he's going
- 16:13Speaker 1: to do. And he pulls his pants down and the
- 16:16Speaker 1: whole twig and berries are there. And then he just
- 16:18Speaker 1: sits on the toilet. And everything is on display. All
- 16:23Speaker 1: of his colleagues are watching. The guy with the baby
- 16:25Speaker 1: gets up and leaves because he's like shield his eyes.
- 16:30Speaker 3: So he's going to do a dump?
- 16:32Speaker 8: I mean, I'm assuming.
- 16:33Speaker 3: Unless he's a sit-down weir.
- 16:34Speaker 1: He's a sit-down weir, maybe.
- 16:36Speaker 3: No, that's wrong.
- 16:37Speaker 1: And everyone is, like, trying to stifle a laugh, and
- 16:41Speaker 1: then one of his mates goes, hey, whatever your name is,
- 16:45Speaker 1: you've left your camera on. And he goes, oh, have
- 16:48Speaker 1: a listen.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Just have a listen.
- 16:49Speaker 6: We're trying to get surplus put away to reduce the
- 16:53Speaker 6: budget and be counterproductive.
- 16:55Speaker 3: Fuck.
- 17:02Speaker 6: I like how.
- 17:12Speaker 3: They just keep talking for a while there.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Someone was like, yeah, we'll just go around the room
- 17:16Speaker 1: and then they were like, is anyone going to tell him?
- 17:19Speaker 2: Anytime you do those teams meetings, turning your camera off
- 17:22Speaker 2: when you go and do something like that, you have to.
- 17:25Speaker 2: You have to turn your camera off. He's obviously just
- 17:27Speaker 2: forgotten to turn the camera off and he's been caught.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Have you ever walked in on someone going to the toilet,
- 17:33Speaker 2: but like someone embarrassing?
- 17:38Speaker 1: No, I don't think so.
- 17:41Speaker 2: I remember when I was like a kid, I walked
- 17:43Speaker 2: in on. My auntie, she was on the toilet probably
- 17:46Speaker 2: doing a dump.
- 17:47Speaker 10: Ew.
- 17:48Speaker 3: I just opened the door. Can everyone have locks on
- 17:50Speaker 3: their bathroom, by the way? I remember opening it.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Do you not knock if the door's locked? Closed?
- 17:54Speaker 8: No.
- 17:55Speaker 3: Whose house are you in? Her house.
- 17:57Speaker 1: And the bathroom door was closed and you just barged in.
- 18:00Speaker 3: No, I was a kid. And I remember she's sitting
- 18:02Speaker 3: there and I went, because I was a kid, right?
- 18:04Speaker 3: And I go, what's all that hair down there? Oh,
- 18:07Speaker 3: my God. She goes, oh, everyone gets that when you're older.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Close the door. Turns out I never saw anyone else
- 18:13Speaker 3: have that hair down there.
- 18:14Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 18:17Speaker 1: She was wrong. She was wrong.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Yeah, well, maybe in her generation they did.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think their generation are into the waxing.
- 18:24Speaker 3: Well, she clearly wasn't, but that was my, yeah, it
- 18:26Speaker 3: was a shock.
- 18:27Speaker 2: And then I knew someone who said, and I don't
- 18:30Speaker 2: know if this is true, but they said they walked
- 18:32Speaker 2: in on John Howard, the old PM.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 18:34Speaker 2: They were at some, like, Liberal Party fundraiser or some
- 18:37Speaker 2: crap in some eastern suburbs rich house, and they walked
- 18:41Speaker 2: in on him doing a, I think it was a wee.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Yeah, so he was standing.
- 18:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Well, dude, that's why this guy, this lawyer, I'm telling you,
- 18:50Speaker 2: was doing a poo. There's no guy that.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Sits down to wait. Imagine if no one had given
- 18:56Speaker 1: him the heads up. So, like, you never want to
- 18:58Speaker 1: be that person who goes.
- 18:59Speaker 3: Well, they just let it go.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Yeah, and you just see him wiping and everything. You
- 19:03Speaker 1: would want to die. Would you be able to turn
- 19:04Speaker 1: up to work the next day?
- 19:06Speaker 3: Well, it was blokes. You are right.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Because it was the dudes. 131065, by the way, if
- 19:10Speaker 2: you walked in on someone or caught someone on Zoom.
- 19:12Speaker 2: But if there were women on that, oh, nah, it'd
- 19:15Speaker 2: be all over.
- 19:16Speaker 3: Yeah, nah.
- 19:17Speaker 14: A little bit different, but a radio host I know
- 19:19Speaker 14: from in the industry.
- 19:20Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 19:22Speaker 8: Went to the US to interview Alicia Keys. Yeah. It
- 19:26Speaker 8: was like a hotel style junket. So that means.
- 19:29Speaker 14: For anyone who doesn't work in the industry that you
- 19:30Speaker 14: go to a hotel and they kind of bounce around
- 19:32Speaker 14: different hotel rooms.
- 19:33Speaker 3: Yeah. And do a bunch of different interviews.
- 19:35Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 19:36Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 19:36Speaker 14: He claims that she, just before his interview, said, hang
- 19:40Speaker 14: on a second and went into the bathroom and did
- 19:43Speaker 14: a giant dump.
- 19:44Speaker 5: No!
- 19:45Speaker 8: Alicia Keys.
- 19:46Speaker 14: And then came out and he just had to sit
- 19:48Speaker 14: there and pretend.
- 19:49Speaker 3: Microphones rolling. Might have picked it up.
- 19:52Speaker 8: Yeah, so Alicia Keys did a dump. We all do dumps.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Yeah, it's when you walk in on someone or catch
- 20:00Speaker 3: them on the camera.
- 20:02Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 20:02Speaker 3: And first calls on 131065. Here's Nicole. Hello.
- 20:05Speaker 13: Hello, how are you?
- 20:07Speaker 3: Good, what's on your mind?
- 20:09Speaker 12: Well, I saw the video in question.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Oh, yes.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Oh, this is the video of the lawyer on a
- 20:16Speaker 3: Zoom call.
- 20:16Speaker 1: On a Melbourne lawyer and thought his camera was off
- 20:19Speaker 1: and he's taken himself to the toilet to drop a deuce.
- 20:22Speaker 13: Yes.
- 20:22Speaker 12: My daughter showed it to me, my 23-year-old.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Oh, man, this lawyer, this is going everywhere, right? He's
- 20:28Speaker 2: not going to be able to live it down.
- 20:30Speaker 1: I wonder who put it online.
- 20:31Speaker 3: You're right. It would have been a colleague.
- 20:33Speaker 1: It would have been one of those colleagues.
- 20:35Speaker 3: You can see they were recording it with their phone. Yeah.
- 20:38Speaker 3: They could lose their job over that.
- 20:41Speaker 13: I know.
- 20:41Speaker 12: I think I'm more horrified that everything was hanging.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Nicole, I said the same thing. And the fact that he, like,
- 20:48Speaker 1: tucked his balls into the bowl.
- 20:50Speaker 13: Oh, no, I couldn't.
- 20:51Speaker 4: I was like, what?
- 20:52Speaker 1: He's teabagging the water.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Well, what is he meant to do?
- 20:56Speaker 2: Sorry, you're horrified that everything's hanging.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Well, I thought the balls would have stayed above the seat.
- 21:01Speaker 11: No.
- 21:02Speaker 12: When he took his pants down, everything was just hanging.
- 21:05Speaker 3: Hang on, hang on. You've... You're how old and you
- 21:09Speaker 3: don't know how a man goes to the toilet? You
- 21:11Speaker 3: think our balls sit on the seat?
- 21:13Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 21:14Speaker 5: Well, I thought.
- 21:15Speaker 3: Because then you'd wee everywhere.
- 21:17Speaker 5: No.
- 21:17Speaker 3: Remember when you do a poo, you have to do a.
- 21:21Speaker 5: Wee.
- 21:22Speaker 3: You can't do it without doing that.
- 21:23Speaker 5: What? Yeah.
- 21:25Speaker 1: It's a thing. Men can't poo without weeing at the
- 21:29Speaker 1: same time.
- 21:29Speaker 5: No.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Can women?
- 21:30Speaker 5: No.
- 21:31Speaker 8: Yes.
- 21:32Speaker 5: Really? Yes.
- 21:33Speaker 3: Another difference between men and women. But yeah, you sit
- 21:36Speaker 3: down there and it just all goes.
- 21:38Speaker 1: In, but it's not going in the water. It's like
- 21:42Speaker 1: a mixture of the two of them. And then your
- 21:44Speaker 1: balls are just touching the water.
- 21:47Speaker 3: How sloppy do you think they are?
- 21:51Speaker 1: How low do they hang?
- 21:53Speaker 3: Maybe American toilets.
- 21:54Speaker 1: Do your balls hang low?
- 21:56Speaker 2: American toilets are full of water, so maybe in America.
- 21:59Speaker 3: Did you just.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Hear what I said? I didn't even say, do your
- 22:03Speaker 1: balls hang low. I said something in, like, German.
- 22:06Speaker 3: Sing it again.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Do your balls hang low? Do they wobble to and fro?
- 22:11Speaker 1: Can you tie them in a knot?
- 22:13Speaker 5: It's a good song.
- 22:13Speaker 3: Can you tie them in a bow?
- 22:14Speaker 1: Can you dump them in the toilet water when you
- 22:17Speaker 1: do a poo-wee?
- 22:18Speaker 3: Come on, are you again? Sorry. I'm glad we cleared
- 22:22Speaker 3: that up anyway.
- 22:23Speaker 2: Yes, our package goes inside the bowl.
- 22:27Speaker 3: All right, Kaz. Hello.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Hey, Kaz.
- 22:29Speaker 4: Hello. Hello. Good morning.
- 22:31Speaker 8: How are you?
- 22:31Speaker 6: Good.
- 22:32Speaker 3: What do you want to say?
- 22:34Speaker 4: I just want to say it's not someone getting caught
- 22:36Speaker 4: in Zoom, but I caught my brother in the nude
- 22:39Speaker 4: on the toilet. So it happened a couple of months ago.
- 22:42Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 22:43Speaker 4: And our main toilet was blocked. And so I went
- 22:47Speaker 4: over to my mum and dad's one. And oh, my gosh,
- 22:50Speaker 4: I walked in on him and he's in the nude
- 22:52Speaker 4: taking a dump.
- 22:53Speaker 3: Yeah, wait.
- 22:54Speaker 1: I've heard about this. I've got a friend of mine
- 22:56Speaker 1: and her husband, every time he does a poo, he
- 22:59Speaker 1: has to take all his clothes off.
- 23:00Speaker 3: That's weird.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Is your brother the same?
- 23:02Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 23:03Speaker 4: For me, it wasn't the first time. It happens a
- 23:06Speaker 4: couple of times. I think he does it all the time.
- 23:08Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 23:09Speaker 1: So he must be like my friend's husband, like has
- 23:11Speaker 1: to remove all pieces of clothing.
- 23:13Speaker 3: I don't understand that.
- 23:14Speaker 1: That's wild. Imagine doing that in winter.
- 23:16Speaker 3: Yeah, no, it'd be freezing, right? And maybe he's like
- 23:19Speaker 3: afraid that poo particles are going to get on the... Yeah.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Was that awkward for you walking in on your brother, Kaz?
- 23:25Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 23:26Speaker 4: Yeah, I've walked in on him a couple of times,
- 23:28Speaker 4: and it always seems to be at my mum and
- 23:30Speaker 4: dad's bathroom. Like, he never does it in our one.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Why is he just destroying your mum and dad's bowl?
- 23:37Speaker 1: That's what my boys do, and I hate it.
- 23:40Speaker 3: Good on you, Kaz. Have a good day, okay? Don't
- 23:42Speaker 3: walk in on your brother again.
- 23:43Speaker 4: Yeah, no, I'm not doing that anymore.
- 23:45Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, Bondi Rescue.
- 23:47Speaker 2: Well, actually, before we get into that, Hoppo's here from
- 23:50Speaker 2: Bondi Rescue, but you are just munching away on a Porto's.
- 23:53Speaker 1: In front of him.
- 23:54Speaker 13: I know.
- 23:54Speaker 1: This is my favourite morning so far on radio.
- 23:57Speaker 3: A Porto's for breakfast.
- 23:59Speaker 2: I'm good, man. You're doing something with the Porto's, right?
- 24:01Speaker 2: They're bringing the burger back to 1986. Is that when
- 24:04Speaker 2: it came out?
- 24:05Speaker 9: Yeah, that's when it first came out. It was something
- 24:08Speaker 9: back in Bondi and the lifeguards sort of got on
- 24:10Speaker 9: board when it started and went up there and we
- 24:13Speaker 9: pretty much... Yeah, started eating it and then it went
- 24:16Speaker 9: from there.
- 24:17Speaker 5: So $ 2.
- 24:17Speaker 3: 86 it's going to be. That's my birth year.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Yeah, so Porto takes a Bondi burger back to 1986
- 24:23Speaker 2: with $ 2. 86 burgers for one day only exclusively via the
- 24:30Speaker 2: Porto app and your munch.
- 24:31Speaker 3: Is it your favourite, Porto's?
- 24:33Speaker 1: Porto's is by far my favourite, yeah. It's my.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Fast food of choice. In my head, it's the healthier
- 24:40Speaker 1: version of most fast food places.
- 24:42Speaker 3: It's healthier, right, Hopper?
- 24:43Speaker 9: Yeah, it is healthy. I've had about 40 in the
- 24:45Speaker 9: last week.
- 24:46Speaker 1: And you're still looking slim.
- 24:48Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 24:48Speaker 3: Hey, how is the beach going?
- 24:50Speaker 2: You guys are going to get very busy in about
- 24:52Speaker 2: a month, yeah, as it starts heating up.
- 24:54Speaker 1: I reckon it's already started, right?
- 24:56Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 24:56Speaker 1: We had a... beautiful weekend.
- 24:58Speaker 2: In Sydney over the weekend yeah is it already busy
- 25:01Speaker 2: or is Bondi just busy year round.
- 25:03Speaker 9: Bondi's busy all year round but I pretty much I
- 25:05Speaker 9: worked the weekend it was pretty busy down there the
- 25:08Speaker 9: kite festival was on so there's thousands of people there
- 25:11Speaker 9: but Yeah, it's starting to pick up now. Now the
- 25:13Speaker 9: weather's getting good.
- 25:14Speaker 3: How are we feeling about the sharks?
- 25:16Speaker 2: I mean, obviously there were a number of attacks over
- 25:19Speaker 2: summer and then that poor lady at Coogee Beach. That
- 25:21Speaker 2: was only, that was during winter. And now you guys
- 25:24Speaker 2: have gone and done these drones. And for our Melbourne listeners,
- 25:29Speaker 2: the drones are on every Sydney beach, like not 24
- 25:32Speaker 2: hours a day, but every day, right?
- 25:34Speaker 9: Yeah, they're on the beaches every day, going out and
- 25:36Speaker 9: having a look for the sharks to make sure there's,
- 25:38Speaker 9: you know, we can monitor them. But pretty much... Sharks
- 25:41Speaker 9: have been around there ever since I've been growing up
- 25:44Speaker 9: as a kid.
- 25:45Speaker 3: Have you seen many?
- 25:46Speaker 9: You see a few here and there, but they all
- 25:47Speaker 9: go under you. It's very hard to see most of
- 25:49Speaker 9: the time. So now they go in looking for them,
- 25:52Speaker 9: it seems like there's more sharks.
- 25:53Speaker 10: Right.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Do you think that there should be shark nets, and
- 25:56Speaker 1: do you think they should be in place all year round?
- 26:00Speaker 9: They've got all different systems in place. There's the shark nets,
- 26:03Speaker 9: there's the drum lines, there's the drones.
- 26:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:06Speaker 9: We're just trying to do our best to keep everyone
- 26:08Speaker 9: safe when they go under the water.
- 26:09Speaker 1: What do you think has changed, though? Because obviously there's
- 26:13Speaker 1: been quite a few shark attacks lately. And up until,
- 26:18Speaker 1: you know, the last couple of, let's say last year,
- 26:20Speaker 1: you didn't really hear about so many, especially not consecutively
- 26:25Speaker 1: as well. Do you think something's changed, like the water conditions,
- 26:29Speaker 1: climate change? Do you think there's anything in particular that's happened?
- 26:32Speaker 11: No.
- 26:32Speaker 9: No one's really put their finger on it, but, you know,
- 26:35Speaker 9: back in the 1920s, there was a fair few shark attacks,
- 26:39Speaker 9: so that's 100 years now. So is there a cycle there?
- 26:42Speaker 9: We don't really know, but it could be something. Most
- 26:45Speaker 9: of the time, there's chasing seals and a lot of
- 26:47Speaker 9: bait bull fish comes in and that drags the sharks
- 26:51Speaker 9: in feeding.
- 26:52Speaker 2: So are these drones helping you guys, like you're a
- 26:54Speaker 2: fan of them? It's given you a warning before?
- 26:57Speaker 9: Well, it's just identifying if a shark is in the
- 27:00Speaker 9: bay at the time and then We can either identify
- 27:02Speaker 9: what the shark is and whether we need to remove
- 27:05Speaker 9: everyone from the water or whether we.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Is it common knowledge to not swim like dawn and dusk?
- 27:11Speaker 1: Is that right? Is that when they're the most active?
- 27:14Speaker 9: Yeah, dawn and dusk. I mean, that's when they're feeding
- 27:15Speaker 9: most of the time. And it's more, though, if we've
- 27:18Speaker 9: had a lot of rain and the water's real murky
- 27:20Speaker 9: because the stormwater drains stay away from the water then.
- 27:23Speaker 9: And also when you see a lot of bait balls
- 27:26Speaker 9: and that in the water, that's probably the best times
- 27:28Speaker 9: not to go into the water.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Is the main problem, though, that people don't know how
- 27:32Speaker 2: to swim and they get caught in rips? I mean,
- 27:34Speaker 2: we're all going on and on about sharks. What is
- 27:36Speaker 2: your number one thing you want people to do, especially
- 27:39Speaker 2: if they're a tourist, if they go onto Bondi Beach?
- 27:42Speaker 11: Well.
- 27:42Speaker 9: With that, we know a lot of stuff with Float
- 27:44Speaker 9: to Survive, and we've realised where people enter the water
- 27:47Speaker 9: is where they want to exit the water. So if
- 27:50Speaker 9: you do that, you're going with the rip, but then
- 27:53Speaker 9: you try and fight the rip to get back to
- 27:55Speaker 9: where you entered.
- 27:55Speaker 3: Isn't that funny? Psychologically, we just want to come out
- 27:58Speaker 3: where we went in.
- 27:59Speaker 9: Yeah, because you think that's safe. You can stand and think, oh, no,
- 28:01Speaker 9: I can get there. I can stand.
- 28:02Speaker 3: Gotcha, gotcha.
- 28:03Speaker 9: So you're better off floating and going with the flow
- 28:05Speaker 9: of the water because it'll take you to where the
- 28:07Speaker 9: sandbank is to stand up or where the waves are
- 28:09Speaker 9: breaking naturally. So use the ocean's energy, not your energy.
- 28:13Speaker 9: And then it gives you time for lifeguards to come
- 28:17Speaker 9: out and rescue you.
- 28:17Speaker 3: And put your hand up.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Now, I'm sure there's like blokes I can think of
- 28:20Speaker 2: that are like, oh, I could do this. But just
- 28:22Speaker 2: put your hand up if you're in.
- 28:24Speaker 3: Trouble, right?
- 28:24Speaker 9: Yeah, just put your hand up or yell out.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Would you say that a majority of people that you
- 28:28Speaker 1: do have to rescue from the ocean are tourists? I
- 28:30Speaker 1: just think to myself, Australians, we're pretty proactive about getting
- 28:34Speaker 1: our kids swimming lessons.
- 28:35Speaker 3: Nippers.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I did nippers.
- 28:38Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Would you say a majority of people that you have
- 28:42Speaker 1: to save?
- 28:43Speaker 9: You'd be surprised.
- 28:44Speaker 10: Really?
- 28:44Speaker 9: A lot of people that we rescue, I reckon 60%, 65%
- 28:47Speaker 9: are living in Australia.
- 28:50Speaker 13: Oh, okay.
- 28:50Speaker 9: So they've come from overseas to live here now because
- 28:53Speaker 9: we've had such an influx of multicultural communities.
- 28:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 28:56Speaker 9: So that's the issue there. But yes, we get a
- 29:00Speaker 9: lot of tourists as well.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Maybe that's why Pauline Hanson's against them. She's just like
- 29:03Speaker 2: all about water safety.
- 29:05Speaker 1: Yeah, that's definitely what it is.
- 29:06Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure.
- 29:07Speaker 2: On a serious note, mate, it'll be almost a year.
- 29:10Speaker 2: You were there on the day of the Bondi attack.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Were you working that day?
- 29:14Speaker 9: No, I was on a day off that day. But
- 29:15Speaker 9: the guys were calling me when it was sort of happening.
- 29:18Speaker 9: And they did a magnificent job to run in and
- 29:21Speaker 9: not know what was going on at the time when
- 29:23Speaker 9: they ran in there and just saw a whole lot
- 29:25Speaker 9: of people you know, injured and shot.
- 29:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:28Speaker 9: And the bullets were still going when they were trying
- 29:30Speaker 9: to do some resuscitation. So it was a great effort
- 29:33Speaker 9: and something that, you know, how do you prepare for
- 29:36Speaker 9: something like that?
- 29:37Speaker 2: No, a day that people will never forget.
- 29:39Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 29:39Speaker 2: I'm, I'm guessing on the one-year anniversary, everyone at Bondi
- 29:43Speaker 2: will be part of something special.
- 29:44Speaker 9: Yeah, I'm pretty sure they're going to do something on
- 29:46Speaker 9: the anniversary and everyone will be down there.
- 29:48Speaker 3: How is it down there?
- 29:49Speaker 2: Like, was it quiet over summer after what happened and
- 29:53Speaker 2: was the vibe quite different?
- 29:54Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 29:55Speaker 9: I mean, when it first happened, yeah, into Christmas was
- 29:57Speaker 9: a bit eerie. It was a different sort of Christmas
- 29:59Speaker 9: than normal at Bondi and, you know, everyone was, but
- 30:01Speaker 9: then it got back to everyone getting back down to
- 30:03Speaker 9: normal and I think that's what the community in the
- 30:05Speaker 9: eastern suburbs wanted to do. They wanted to get back
- 30:07Speaker 9: to normal as quick as possible and, And get on
- 30:10Speaker 9: with it. So that's, you know, helped a lot. And
- 30:13Speaker 9: then we went into the Sharks. So it's one of
- 30:16Speaker 9: those times. So hopefully, you know, we usually follow the
- 30:20Speaker 9: European summer. So it looks like we could be having
- 30:22Speaker 9: a hot one.
- 30:23Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 30:23Speaker 3: Let's hope for a better summer at Bondi. And, mate,
- 30:26Speaker 3: good on you.
- 30:27Speaker 2: You're getting stuck into a Porto's now because I know
- 30:29Speaker 2: Amy's just like, can we finish this interview so I
- 30:31Speaker 2: can eat the burger?
- 30:32Speaker 9: I just stole Amy's one. I'm chomping into it now.
- 30:35Speaker 2: And don't forget, yeah, so $ 2. 86 is what you can
- 30:39Speaker 2: get your burger for at a Porto, only via the
- 30:42Speaker 2: Porto app. Hoppo from Bondi Rescue, good on you, mate.
- 30:45Speaker 2: Thanks for coming in.
- 30:46Speaker 5: Thank you so much.
- 30:46Speaker 9: Thanks for having.
- 30:49Speaker 3: Me.
- 30:50Speaker 2: Yeah, beautiful morning, but a lot of people are upset
- 30:52Speaker 2: about the amount of sex they're having.
- 30:54Speaker 14: Oh.
- 30:55Speaker 3: You said you're fine.
- 30:56Speaker 1: I'm good. I'm, like, I would say... Mine is pretty healthy.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Well, they've gone through each generation and worked out why
- 31:04Speaker 2: people aren't doing it as much.
- 31:07Speaker 3: Let's kick it off with Gen Z's.
- 31:09Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 31:09Speaker 3: They're saying it's the cost of living that's getting in
- 31:12Speaker 3: the way.
- 31:12Speaker 1: Gen Z love a complaint.
- 31:14Speaker 3: It doesn't cost anything to do it, by the way.
- 31:16Speaker 1: Yeah, why is that?
- 31:17Speaker 3: I think a lot of videos, they're still living at home.
- 31:20Speaker 3: So what?
- 31:20Speaker 1: That makes it more fun.
- 31:21Speaker 3: I know, right?
- 31:22Speaker 1: Right? Doing it like secretly.
- 31:24Speaker 5: Shuttle here.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Don't make noise.
- 31:25Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, according to them, that's why they're not doing it.
- 31:28Speaker 3: Let's move up to millennials. Which is us.
- 31:31Speaker 1: That's us, okay.
- 31:32Speaker 3: Apparently we're too burnt out.
- 31:34Speaker 2: So we're blaming work, low energy, another 22% are blaming kids.
- 31:40Speaker 3: I don't have kids, but if I'm tired, if I've
- 31:42Speaker 3: done a really long day.
- 31:43Speaker 1: You're pathetic.
- 31:45Speaker 3: I would like to go to sleep.
- 31:46Speaker 1: You're actually pathetic. You're not, you don't even have one kid.
- 31:51Speaker 1: You're not even married. Your partner doesn't even live with you.
- 31:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm just saying sometimes you're too tired. Are you not?
- 31:57Speaker 1: Yeah, but I've got excuses. I've got three children and
- 32:01Speaker 1: so many extracurricular activities that I have to run them to.
- 32:04Speaker 1: I've got dinner to cook for five people.
- 32:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 32:07Speaker 3: Okay, fair.
- 32:08Speaker 1: So, yeah.
- 32:09Speaker 3: You have excuses.
- 32:10Speaker 1: I probably still have sex more than you as well.
- 32:12Speaker 3: That is not true. You don't know. Hey, Gen X.
- 32:16Speaker 2: So that's the next generation up. Their bodies are starting
- 32:20Speaker 2: to fail.
- 32:21Speaker 1: Well, they can't get it up.
- 32:22Speaker 3: Well, yeah, because 39% say they have a low sex drive.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Yeah, well, doesn't it start to decline?
- 32:29Speaker 3: After 30, I think.
- 32:29Speaker 1: After 40, I think.
- 32:31Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 32:32Speaker 3: Well, Gen X are 46 to 61 years old.
- 32:36Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 32:37Speaker 3: It gets sadder.
- 32:38Speaker 8: Oh, no.
- 32:39Speaker 3: Boomers. Are you reading your burger while I'm talking? Really
- 32:43Speaker 3: interested in this discussion.
- 32:45Speaker 1: I am interested, but you're talking, so I took a bite.
- 32:48Speaker 2: What are we talking about? Oh, boomers. 66% say aging
- 32:54Speaker 2: itself is why they no longer do it. Now, I
- 32:56Speaker 2: want to talk about that.
- 32:57Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 32:57Speaker 3: When you're like 84.
- 32:59Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 33:01Speaker 3: Would you still be doing it?
- 33:03Speaker 1: So when my grandpa died over in the UK, my posi.
- 33:07Speaker 3: Sorry to hear that. Yeah.
- 33:09Speaker 1: It was years ago. But my posse, so the equivalent
- 33:11Speaker 1: to my grandma, it was her nickname.
- 33:14Speaker 3: Does she like different positions?
- 33:19Speaker 1: No. She ended up getting herself a boyfriend. Oh, what?
- 33:24Speaker 1: At what age?
- 33:26Speaker 5: 82.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Oh. And my mum would go over and visit them
- 33:30Speaker 1: and could hear them going at it. So they'd both
- 33:32Speaker 1: be popping the Viagras and going to town.
- 33:35Speaker 5: Wow.
- 33:36Speaker 1: I was like, yuck.
- 33:37Speaker 3: Good for them.
- 33:38Speaker 1: Yeah, good on them, but also yuck.
- 33:40Speaker 2: With all that, it makes sense. You have your most
- 33:42Speaker 2: money if you've got good super. You're not working anymore.
- 33:44Speaker 2: You've got no kids. Old people should just be fornicating
- 33:48Speaker 2: like rabbits.
- 33:49Speaker 1: Well, you hear about people who work in nursing homes
- 33:53Speaker 1: and they're constantly catching other elderly people. Is that hot,
- 33:57Speaker 1: is it? Does that turn you on?
- 33:59Speaker 9: No.
- 34:00Speaker 1: You just said that's hot. You're sick.
- 34:03Speaker 3: It's hot that they're still doing it.
- 34:04Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 34:05Speaker 3: Good on you oldies.
- 34:05Speaker 2: If you're in a nursing home and you're still doing it,
- 34:07Speaker 2: call in 131065.
- 34:10Speaker 3: Let's hear from you. Let's hear you do it. Hey,
- 34:13Speaker 3: Nat's got a hit of celebrity news coming up. Let's
- 34:14Speaker 3: hear you do it.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Let's not.
- 34:16Speaker 3: You can just get back to your burger there, man.
- 34:17Speaker 3: That's all right. You're a Porto burger.
- 34:19Speaker 14: $ 2.
- 34:19Speaker 3: 86 today. Nat, what do you got?
- 34:22Speaker 14: Lady Gaga has, we've just found out that she welcomed
- 34:25Speaker 14: a surprise baby. No one even knew she was pregnant.
- 34:27Speaker 14: So all the details coming up next.
- 34:30Speaker 3: She had sex.
- 34:32Speaker 8: Yeah, Lady Gaga.
- 34:32Speaker 1: Oh, sorry.
- 34:33Speaker 3: She's a millennial, yeah?
- 34:36Speaker 8: She's 40, so you know I'm young.
- 34:38Speaker 1: Yeah, she's us.
- 34:39Speaker 8: Why were you so shocked that Lady Gaga's got headsets?
- 34:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought you said Lady Gaga found out that
- 34:44Speaker 1: she's just had a baby, as in like someone had it.
- 34:47Speaker 8: Like she sat on the toilet and it came out.
- 34:48Speaker 8: You know those? I'd never believe them, by the way.
- 34:50Speaker 1: Well, there was a lady at my work who she
- 34:53Speaker 1: reckons she just gave birth to a toilet.
- 34:55Speaker 3: Not this work. Bigger lady?
- 34:57Speaker 1: She was a bigger lady, yeah.
- 34:58Speaker 8: It's always the bigger ladies, isn't it? I don't know why.
- 35:03Speaker 3: Well, I want you to put your money where your
- 35:05Speaker 3: mouth is, Amy Gerard.
- 35:07Speaker 5: Okay, why?
- 35:07Speaker 3: We've been going through your book here. What's your book
- 35:09Speaker 3: called again?
- 35:10Speaker 1: Strap Yourself In.
- 35:11Speaker 3: Yeah, available at Booktopia. Booktopia. Oh, yeah. Where else?
- 35:17Speaker 1: Just online. It was in Big W, Amazon.
- 35:21Speaker 3: Okay, now I want to go through this with you.
- 35:23Speaker 2: There's like a rogue statement in there that has caught
- 35:26Speaker 2: our interest, and we are going to put you to
- 35:28Speaker 2: the test.
- 35:30Speaker 3: So you used to date a German guy.
- 35:32Speaker 1: No, I never dated a German guy. I had a
- 35:36Speaker 1: very brief holiday romance with a German guy in the
- 35:40Speaker 1: Maldives for seven days. No, ten.
- 35:43Speaker 3: So for ten days you dated a German guy.
- 35:45Speaker 1: I wasn't dating him.
- 35:47Speaker 3: I was seeing him.
- 35:48Speaker 1: We barely interacted with our voices.
- 35:52Speaker 2: Well, on that, despite the language difference, according to you
- 35:56Speaker 2: in the book, you reckon you could understand what he
- 36:00Speaker 2: was saying?
- 36:01Speaker 3: How?
- 36:02Speaker 1: Well, we got along really well and I could understand.
- 36:06Speaker 2: How could you even spend 10 days with someone when
- 36:08Speaker 2: you can't speak their language?
- 36:10Speaker 1: I don't know. It was like a holiday romance, you know,
- 36:14Speaker 1: like you read in novels.
- 36:16Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 36:19Speaker 1: It was like our body language. There was lots of
- 36:22Speaker 1: hand signals.
- 36:23Speaker 3: But when he was talking, did you think you understood him?
- 36:27Speaker 1: I think I understood enough, yeah.
- 36:30Speaker 2: Well, when he said nine, you're like, oh, that means no.
- 36:32Speaker 2: Pretty much, yeah. Well, what we've got here is some
- 36:36Speaker 2: German statements.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 36:38Speaker 3: Okay. We need our German music.
- 36:42Speaker 1: Are there any beers? German beers we can have while
- 36:45Speaker 1: we do this?
- 36:46Speaker 8: No, that's illegal. You can't drink on radio.
- 36:48Speaker 13: That's all right.
- 36:49Speaker 8: You're still learning.
- 36:49Speaker 5: Hang on.
- 36:50Speaker 1: Didn't we have a Bloody Mary on radio?
- 36:51Speaker 3: You can drink. You're not allowed to be drunk.
- 36:55Speaker 1: Okay, yeah.
- 36:55Speaker 3: So, like, how many beers would it take you to
- 36:57Speaker 3: be drunk?
- 36:57Speaker 1: I would have just sipped the beer.
- 36:59Speaker 8: Well, we don't have beer, so let's push on.
- 37:01Speaker 1: Moving on.
- 37:01Speaker 3: Let's go with our German statements. I'm going to play
- 37:04Speaker 3: them for you.
- 37:04Speaker 8: Okay.
- 37:05Speaker 3: And I want you to tell me what they're saying. Okay. Okay,
- 37:08Speaker 3: so translate them to English. You ready for number one?
- 37:10Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 37:11Speaker 3: Here we go.
- 37:12Speaker 1: Du siehst sexy aus.
- 37:14Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 37:15Speaker 3: Du siehst sexy aus.
- 37:16Speaker 1: Yeah, you look sexy today.
- 37:19Speaker 3: I'm going to give it to you. It's you look sexy.
- 37:22Speaker 3: Not today. What did it for you, though?
- 37:24Speaker 1: The sexy house.
- 37:26Speaker 3: You have a sexy house.
- 37:28Speaker 2: All right, let's go a little basic-er then.
- 37:32Speaker 1: Wie geht es dir? How are you?
- 37:34Speaker 5: How do you.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Oh! I told you. See, I can speak German.
- 37:40Speaker 3: I want to hear that again.
- 37:41Speaker 5: How did you get that?
- 37:42Speaker 1: Wie geht es dir?
- 37:44Speaker 3: Wie geht es dir?
- 37:45Speaker 1: He would say that every time he dropped flowers on
- 37:47Speaker 1: my door.
- 37:48Speaker 3: That's a weird thing to say when you're dropping flowers.
- 37:51Speaker 3: You go, here are the flowers.
- 37:52Speaker 4: How are you?
- 37:53Speaker 1: And then he'd go, you have a sexy house.
- 37:55Speaker 3: All right. Oh, God, I hope I didn't say this
- 38:01Speaker 3: to you.
- 38:02Speaker 1: Du riechst komisch. Touch my bum.
- 38:08Speaker 5: No.
- 38:08Speaker 3: Did he want you to touch his bum?
- 38:09Speaker 1: What does it say?
- 38:11Speaker 3: It says, you know, that is a no, by the way. Sorry.
- 38:14Speaker 5: Okay.
- 38:15Speaker 3: You smell weird.
- 38:16Speaker 1: Hear it again?
- 38:19Speaker 5: Du riechst komisch.
- 38:20Speaker 1: That's obviously why I don't know that one, because he's
- 38:21Speaker 1: never said that to me.
- 38:22Speaker 3: No, he never said it.
- 38:24Speaker 4: No, Carrie.
- 38:24Speaker 2: Let's see if you can get this one. It's one
- 38:27Speaker 2: of their, no, I'm not giving you a clue. Well-known foods.
- 38:31Speaker 11: Möchten Sie die Currywurst heiß oder kalt?
- 38:35Speaker 1: Something about sausages and pork knuckle.
- 38:42Speaker 3: No. What's curry worse? What is that?
- 38:47Speaker 8: That is a.
- 38:50Speaker 14: Strangely enough, a sausage made of pork. And she mentioned
- 38:53Speaker 14: pork and sausage. So she's still not completely wrong.
- 38:56Speaker 3: We'll give her a half a point for that.
- 38:58Speaker 8: That's a half point.
- 38:59Speaker 3: They were asking whether you want your curry worse hot
- 39:02Speaker 3: or do you want it cold?
- 39:04Speaker 5: Okay.
- 39:04Speaker 3: I'd imagine you'd want it hot.
- 39:05Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 39:06Speaker 6: Yep.
- 39:06Speaker 3: Okay.
- 39:07Speaker 1: You've got to understand, I will only remember sentences that
- 39:12Speaker 1: he used with me. And we didn't have curried sausages
- 39:15Speaker 1: in the Maldives.
- 39:17Speaker 3: Curry sausage.
- 39:19Speaker 1: Or whatever it was.
- 39:20Speaker 8: No, there's curry in it too.
- 39:22Speaker 4: Oh, really?
- 39:23Speaker 14: It's a famous German fast food dish made of sliced pork,
- 39:27Speaker 14: sausage covered in spiced tomato and curry sauce.
- 39:29Speaker 4: Oh, okay.
- 39:30Speaker 13: Right.
- 39:30Speaker 3: Yeah, you didn't have your curry and sausages. Where were
- 39:32Speaker 3: you again?
- 39:32Speaker 1: The Maldives.
- 39:34Speaker 3: Well, it'll be warm there, yeah? Yes, it was. Okay,
- 39:36Speaker 3: maybe you'll be able to get this one then.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Could you please turn down the temperature of the air conditioning?
- 39:44Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 39:45Speaker 3: What's that?
- 39:46Speaker 1: That is, would you like to go snorkeling in your
- 39:49Speaker 1: new bikini that I've bought you?
- 39:51Speaker 5: Nah.
- 39:52Speaker 3: It's asking, can you turn the air con temp down?
- 39:55Speaker 1: No, see, again, we weren't living together. Right.
- 39:58Speaker 8: We didn't shack up.
- 40:00Speaker 1: I was there with my family.
- 40:01Speaker 16: Ah.
- 40:01Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 40:02Speaker 3: But did you get it on and then stay at his?
- 40:04Speaker 4: No.
- 40:04Speaker 5: No?
- 40:04Speaker 11: No.
- 40:05Speaker 5: All right. Cool.
- 40:06Speaker 1: He was there with his mum. I was like 24.
- 40:08Speaker 1: It was a little holiday romance.
- 40:11Speaker 3: Yeah, definitely. One more.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Here we go. Can I be with you? You want
- 40:20Speaker 1: to hear it again? Yeah. If we get married, I
- 40:27Speaker 1: don't believe in divorce.
- 40:28Speaker 3: You're divorcing there, don't you? Oh, no.
- 40:35Speaker 2: Everything has an end? That might be the divorce word.
- 40:39Speaker 2: Might be translated to end.
- 40:41Speaker 1: Yeah, okay.
- 40:41Speaker 3: Only the sausage has two.
- 40:45Speaker 9: What?
- 40:45Speaker 3: Or they have two ends.
- 40:48Speaker 1: Everything has an end. Only the sausage has two.
- 40:52Speaker 3: There is a lot about curry sausages in this for
- 40:54Speaker 3: some reason.
- 40:55Speaker 1: Yeah, that's quite funny.
- 40:56Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:57Speaker 1: Yeah, listen. I don't believe I needed to fully understand
- 41:01Speaker 1: the German language in order to fully commit to– His
- 41:06Speaker 1: name was Mark for the seven days that we were together.
- 41:08Speaker 2: So do you think, and maybe 131065, you can call in,
- 41:12Speaker 2: you can have a full blown.
- 41:13Speaker 14: Do you think maybe it's different if, cause that was
- 41:16Speaker 14: like a German AI, right?
- 41:18Speaker 8: Like a Siri reading out the phrases. Do you think
- 41:20Speaker 8: it's different if you have an actual German?
- 41:22Speaker 3: Oh, we have a German.
- 41:24Speaker 14: Because we are bringing in Robert the German right now.
- 41:27Speaker 8: Oh, Robert the German is here. And he's got a
- 41:30Speaker 8: list of phrases for you.
- 41:31Speaker 5: Oh, hello, Robert.
- 41:32Speaker 8: Is this the man you met in the Maldives?
- 41:34Speaker 4: No.
- 41:34Speaker 2: Just come up to the microphone here, Robert. Robert the
- 41:37Speaker 2: German's here.
- 41:38Speaker 3: Take a seat.
- 41:40Speaker 1: Oh, this is a.
- 41:41Speaker 3: Robert, just talk into the microphone there, mate.
- 41:44Speaker 1: A real German.
- 41:46Speaker 5: Hallo.
- 41:46Speaker 8: Oh, hallo.
- 41:47Speaker 2: Yeah. Nice and close to that. It's not a German microphone.
- 41:53Speaker 1: How do you say microphone in German?
- 41:57Speaker 5: Mikrofon.
- 41:58Speaker 1: Oh, see, it's kind of similar.
- 42:00Speaker 5: It's very similar.
- 42:01Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 42:02Speaker 3: So not microphone, mikrofon.
- 42:04Speaker 5: Fast das gleiche.
- 42:05Speaker 1: I think this is why I could... What?
- 42:07Speaker 3: I can't understand him.
- 42:08Speaker 5: Oh, no.
- 42:10Speaker 13: No.
- 42:15Speaker 3: Yeah, Amy, what was that?
- 42:18Speaker 1: Do I speak German fluently?
- 42:20Speaker 5: No.
- 42:20Speaker 1: Was that wrong?
- 42:23Speaker 5: Really?
- 42:25Speaker 1: Vaguely? Yeah, a little bit.
- 42:29Speaker 3: Something about anaesthetics?
- 42:32Speaker 1: Do I like general anaesthetic? Yes.
- 42:38Speaker 5: That was not German.
- 42:39Speaker 1: That was not German, no.
- 42:40Speaker 3: Hey, Robert, thanks for coming in.
- 42:42Speaker 2: Did you two just have a conversation? Let's see what
- 42:46Speaker 2: Amy can do here.
- 42:47Speaker 5: Magst du es scharf? Magst du es scharf?
- 42:50Speaker 1: Magst du es scharf?
- 42:52Speaker 5: Markstuss Schaaf.
- 42:54Speaker 1: Markstuss Schaaf. What's that? How's that? What's that say?
- 42:59Speaker 5: So should I translate that?
- 43:00Speaker 1: Yes, please.
- 43:02Speaker 5: Yeah. Do you like it hot or not?
- 43:04Speaker 1: Oh, yes, I like it hot.
- 43:06Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 43:06Speaker 1: Oh, we did this. I should have picked up on it.
- 43:08Speaker 3: Oh, with the currywurst.
- 43:09Speaker 1: We are the curried sausages.
- 43:10Speaker 5: I meant the food.
- 43:13Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, I know. I know you meant the food. Okay.
- 43:17Speaker 5: That's one of the sentences I said basically to my...
- 43:22Speaker 5: To my wife.
- 43:23Speaker 1: To your wife?
- 43:24Speaker 5: When she was first at my place.
- 43:26Speaker 1: Oh, you said, do you like it hot?
- 43:28Speaker 5: I was cooking food.
- 43:30Speaker 13: Yes.
- 43:32Speaker 5: And I was chopping up stuff.
- 43:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:34Speaker 5: And I said to her, like, so do you like
- 43:37Speaker 5: it hot then?
- 43:38Speaker 1: How do you say it again?
- 43:39Speaker 5: Demarcus Scharf.
- 43:41Speaker 1: That means, do you like it hot?
- 43:44Speaker 5: Do you like it hot?
- 43:45Speaker 1: And she was like, yeah, baby.
- 43:47Speaker 5: I meant the food. She was kind of confused.
- 43:50Speaker 1: And do you guys eat a lot of curried sausages?
- 43:54Speaker 1: How do you pronounce it?
- 43:56Speaker 5: Currywurst. Currywurst.
- 43:58Speaker 1: Is that a traditional dish?
- 44:00Speaker 5: Currywurst, soll ich das auf Deutsch sagen oder auf Englisch?
- 44:04Speaker 3: I don't understand you.
- 44:05Speaker 5: He's saying in German or English. I say it in English, okay? Yes. Okay, Currywurst,
- 44:10Speaker 5: how Currywurst originated was that a woman called, had a heuer,
- 44:16Speaker 5: had a little sausage cart, 1945 and bombed out Berlin, basically.
- 44:21Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 44:23Speaker 5: And everything was bombed flat, nothing standing anymore. And she
- 44:29Speaker 5: was trading alcohol and cigarettes against German sausages. Oh, wow.
- 44:34Speaker 5: Because no more currency, yeah?
- 44:36Speaker 3: Yeah, of course.
- 44:37Speaker 5: So currency, alcohol and cigarettes, German sausage.
- 44:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 44:41Speaker 5: You wouldn't want to know what was in that sausage.
- 44:43Speaker 5: It was definitely not free-range pork. Yeah.
- 44:45Speaker 3: What do you think it was?
- 44:47Speaker 5: Who knows? Dogs, horse. Horse at best if you're lucky,
- 44:51Speaker 5: you know.
- 44:52Speaker 1: I didn't mind a German sausage.
- 44:55Speaker 5: So this one guy came along, most likely English guy
- 45:01Speaker 5: in the British Army.
- 45:02Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 45:03Speaker 5: Because they had curry powder in their rations. And he went,
- 45:08Speaker 5: I've got curry powder. And he said, that's really nice
- 45:13Speaker 5: for you, but the currency is alcohol or cigarettes. It's
- 45:17Speaker 5: not curry powder.
- 45:18Speaker 3: Is the currency still alcohol and cigarettes? No, you're part
- 45:22Speaker 3: of the Euro. Hey, Robert, thank you for coming in.
- 45:25Speaker 3: I feel like I want Amy. We want to speak
- 45:27Speaker 3: a little German.
- 45:28Speaker 5: What was that?
- 45:36Speaker 1: Something expression.
- 45:39Speaker 3: Deutsch? I heard Deutsch.
- 45:40Speaker 1: Yeah, what's Deutsch?
- 45:42Speaker 5: German, right?
- 45:42Speaker 3: It used to be the Deutsch mark, yeah?
- 45:44Speaker 13: Money.
- 45:45Speaker 5: Money? Is it money?
- 45:46Speaker 2: Okay.
- 45:56Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 45:59Speaker 5: What was that one? That means, what is your favourite dish?
- 46:03Speaker 1: Oh, what is my favourite dish?
- 46:04Speaker 5: Currywurst.
- 46:05Speaker 3: Currywurst. This whole segment's been about currywurst. Robert the German,
- 46:09Speaker 3: thank you for coming in, mate. Appreciate your time. Thank
- 46:11Speaker 3: you so much. Say goodbye in German, Amy.
- 46:14Speaker 1: Goodbye.
- 46:15Speaker 14: Bye.
- 46:16Speaker 1: Tschüss. Cheers.
- 46:18Speaker 5: Tschüss. Tschüss. Tschüss.
- 46:19Speaker 3: Tschüss.
- 46:20Speaker 5: Tschüss.
- 46:22Speaker 1: Like juice with a C-H.
- 46:23Speaker 5: Tschüss. G-C-H-U.
- 46:25Speaker 1: How do you say I love you?
- 46:27Speaker 5: Ich lieb dich.
- 46:30Speaker 1: Ich lieb dich. Yeah, I got a lot of them
- 46:33Speaker 1: from Mark.
- 46:34Speaker 3: After seven days.
- 46:35Speaker 1: Yeah, of course.
- 46:35Speaker 3: Good on you, Robert.
- 46:37Speaker 5: Cheers, man.
- 46:38Speaker 1: Thank you, Robert. So over the weekend, I got added
- 46:43Speaker 1: into an incredible WhatsApp group. Now, I am in so
- 46:49Speaker 1: many WhatsApp groups and I've got so many of them
- 46:51Speaker 1: on mute because I just can't keep up. But this
- 46:53Speaker 1: one came out of nowhere and it is going to
- 46:56Speaker 1: probably be my Bible for the future moving forward. It
- 46:59Speaker 1: is my suburb's name. Yeah. Boy Mums.
- 47:04Speaker 3: So all the boy mums in your suburb?
- 47:06Speaker 1: So all of the boy mums in the suburb, somebody
- 47:08Speaker 1: has started this and they have started adding in all
- 47:12Speaker 1: the boy mums. So I think maybe like one mum
- 47:15Speaker 1: started it, added in four other mums and then One
- 47:19Speaker 1: of those four have added in their friends and so forth.
- 47:22Speaker 1: And so it's kind of spiralled. It's so we can
- 47:25Speaker 1: keep tabs on our sons because we live in a
- 47:29Speaker 1: very small neighbourhood and it is a safe neighbourhood, but
- 47:33Speaker 1: we have this epidemic of boys at the moment where
- 47:37Speaker 1: they get on their bikes or their scooters or their
- 47:39Speaker 1: bloody e-bikes or their e-scooters and they just go off.
- 47:43Speaker 3: Yeah, causing havoc.
- 47:43Speaker 1: And they are at all different parks. No, I don't
- 47:45Speaker 1: think they're causing havoc at all. But they go down
- 47:48Speaker 1: into the bush and they build bike jumps or they
- 47:50Speaker 1: go up to parks and, you know, who knows what
- 47:53Speaker 1: they're doing up there. Or they go to another park or...
- 47:56Speaker 1: But basically, and I am probably, I'm probably behind the
- 48:01Speaker 1: times here, but I don't have any sort of tracking
- 48:03Speaker 1: devices on my kids. So a lot of the other
- 48:07Speaker 1: neighbours that I have in my street, they've got the smartwatches.
- 48:10Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 48:11Speaker 1: So they can kind of see at least where their kids'
- 48:14Speaker 1: location are. And I actually rely, I was relying on
- 48:17Speaker 1: my neighbour, Courtney, because my sons were always with her boys. Now,
- 48:23Speaker 1: all of these other boys from all around the suburb,
- 48:24Speaker 1: they've all started doing these meet-ups at different parks. They
- 48:28Speaker 1: play sport. They play table. It's all quite fun and wholesome.
- 48:31Speaker 1: Sounds good.
- 48:33Speaker 3: It is good.
- 48:33Speaker 5: Good childhood.
- 48:34Speaker 1: It is good, and it is a great childhood, and
- 48:36Speaker 1: it's exactly why I love the suburb that we're in.
- 48:40Speaker 1: And sometimes I have no idea where they are, especially
- 48:43Speaker 1: in particular my youngest.
- 48:44Speaker 3: And they don't have phones.
- 48:45Speaker 1: He's just turned seven. He's the youngest in the street,
- 48:48Speaker 1: the youngest in my family, but he thinks he's like
- 48:50Speaker 1: a little independent king. So he just puts his helmet
- 48:53Speaker 1: on and off he goes on his bike. And I'm like, um.
- 48:57Speaker 1: So now that I'm in this WhatsApp group chat, I
- 49:00Speaker 1: will put up a thing. Hey, has anyone got eyes
- 49:03Speaker 1: on Kobe?
- 49:04Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 49:04Speaker 1: And like some mums will be like, yeah, last seen
- 49:07Speaker 1: at this address.
- 49:08Speaker 3: Wow.
- 49:08Speaker 1: And then another mum will be like, hey, I've got
- 49:11Speaker 1: my 360 on. They're at Steaming Mug. I'm assuming they're
- 49:14Speaker 1: buying milkshakes.
- 49:17Speaker 3: Oh, so milkshake place.
- 49:19Speaker 13: Yeah, yeah.
- 49:24Speaker 1: How did the bloody bell get back in here? I
- 49:27Speaker 1: bought my own, but it is so helpful. And I
- 49:31Speaker 1: didn't realize it is everything that I've needed.
- 49:35Speaker 2: Without, without having to give them technology technology.
- 49:39Speaker 1: Why do these moms all around the suburb? Cause they
- 49:41Speaker 1: don't tend to leave it. Um, Someone has spotted them.
- 49:46Speaker 1: Some of the mums live next to the park. Some
- 49:48Speaker 1: of them live across the road. And at all times,
- 49:51Speaker 1: I know where my kids are now.
- 49:52Speaker 3: You know what we should do?
- 49:53Speaker 1: It's like Gossip Girl, but for mums. Yeah.
- 49:56Speaker 3: 131065, how are you secretly tracking your kids?
- 50:01Speaker 1: Well, I don't even know if it's secretly, but like.
- 50:03Speaker 3: How are you keeping an eye on them?
- 50:04Speaker 1: But could you, do you remember when we were kids?
- 50:06Speaker 3: I did whatever I wanted and I was just gone.
- 50:08Speaker 3: They wouldn't have known where I was.
- 50:10Speaker 1: My parents relied on me telling the truth and I
- 50:13Speaker 1: did that never.
- 50:14Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 50:14Speaker 2: I mean, at most they might call the other like
- 50:16Speaker 2: parents thinking you're there and you always get caught with
- 50:19Speaker 2: that one.
- 50:19Speaker 3: I said I was a Kevin. Kevin said he was
- 50:21Speaker 3: a mine, but we were off.
- 50:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 50:23Speaker 1: My mum used to think I was going to youth group.
- 50:25Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 50:25Speaker 1: At a church and then I would wait for a
- 50:28Speaker 1: car to drive away and then I'd go to like
- 50:30Speaker 1: an illegal bonfire rave in the bush. Yeah, you did.
- 50:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 50:34Speaker 1: I was like, my mum actually had no idea where
- 50:36Speaker 1: I was ever.
- 50:37Speaker 2: Well, you wouldn't get away with that now. You wouldn't, right? 131065,
- 50:42Speaker 2: let's hear from you.
- 50:43Speaker 3: How are you? What do you want to say? Keeping
- 50:45Speaker 3: an eye on it?
- 50:46Speaker 1: Well, just keeping tabs on where your kids are at.
- 50:49Speaker 2: Yeah, 131065, what are you doing to find out where
- 50:51Speaker 2: they are and what they're doing?
- 50:52Speaker 1: Especially when they're seven, in my case.
- 50:54Speaker 3: Yeah, man.
- 50:54Speaker 1: Like, when they're teenagers, I'm... I mean, probably that's when
- 50:59Speaker 1: you need to keep tabs on them the most.
- 51:00Speaker 3: Well, you know where your boys are at all times now,
- 51:03Speaker 3: don't you, Amy?
- 51:03Speaker 5: I do.
- 51:03Speaker 1: Well, I've got a rough idea. So I tend to
- 51:06Speaker 1: know which kind of cul-de-sac or park or bike jump
- 51:09Speaker 1: area or dirt track they've built. You know, they're in
- 51:14Speaker 1: the realm of those areas.
- 51:15Speaker 3: And that's all because of this WhatsApp group.
- 51:17Speaker 5: You've been added to.
- 51:19Speaker 1: Explain the group. Well, it's the suburb name.
- 51:21Speaker 5: Boys.
- 51:22Speaker 4: Boys.
- 51:24Speaker 1: So it's basically all mums of boys in this suburb
- 51:28Speaker 1: and we're kind of just helping each other out, keeping
- 51:31Speaker 1: tabs on our kids, you know, by keeping a lookout.
- 51:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 51:36Speaker 2: So we want to know, 131065, how are you keeping
- 51:39Speaker 2: an eye on your kids? Maybe you've got a hack. Yeah.
- 51:42Speaker 3: Larissa, go for it.
- 51:43Speaker 1: Hey, Larissa.
- 51:45Speaker 12: Hi, I attracted my kids up to a point, but
- 51:50Speaker 12: then I found out my oldest one was jigging school.
- 51:53Speaker 12: So after that, I did phone tracking on her. And
- 51:58Speaker 12: then I said to her, as a threat, I said,
- 52:02Speaker 12: if you're not careful when I find out you're jigging school,
- 52:04Speaker 12: I will turn up in a playboy bunny outfit to
- 52:07Speaker 12: pick you up.
- 52:09Speaker 8: Yes.
- 52:09Speaker 3: So you're tracking her phone now? Is she going to school?
- 52:12Speaker 1: Have you just got her on, like, find my friends?
- 52:15Speaker 12: No, it was one of those funky apps at the time.
- 52:18Speaker 12: It was only very new because my daughter's in her
- 52:21Speaker 12: 30s now.
- 52:22Speaker 1: Oh, yes.
- 52:23Speaker 12: So it was pretty hard to find it. And I
- 52:26Speaker 12: actually had to pay for that. She doesn't know that
- 52:28Speaker 12: I've done that. And I actually called her up one
- 52:31Speaker 12: afternoon and it looked like a bit wonky. And I said,
- 52:39Speaker 12: where are you now? Do you really want me to
- 52:41Speaker 12: turn up with Playboy Bunny out?
- 52:43Speaker 3: Yeah, that's so funny.
- 52:46Speaker 2: Hey, with that Find My iPhone, if you turn your
- 52:48Speaker 2: phone off, it doesn't know where you are, right?
- 52:50Speaker 1: No, it'll just pin the last location before you turned
- 52:55Speaker 1: your phone off.
- 52:55Speaker 2: Because a lot of kids, well, most schools, you've got
- 52:57Speaker 2: to put your phone, like you've got to lock it away.
- 52:59Speaker 3: Do they turn it off?
- 53:00Speaker 1: No, they don't turn it off. No, you just put
- 53:02Speaker 1: it on silent.
- 53:02Speaker 3: Gotcha. Emily's on. What about you, Emily?
- 53:05Speaker 10: Hey, Em.
- 53:06Speaker 3: Hi.
- 53:06Speaker 16: No, I'm absolutely the opposite. I've got two younger boys,
- 53:09Speaker 16: four altogether, but two younger boys. And when they go
- 53:12Speaker 16: out to play, they pop back in every hour or
- 53:15Speaker 16: 40 minutes. If the streetlights come on, starts to get dark,
- 53:19Speaker 16: it's time to come home.
- 53:20Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 53:20Speaker 4: Old school.
- 53:20Speaker 16: I give them a certain distance, like you can't pass.
- 53:24Speaker 16: You know, the McDonald's, I don't want you going over
- 53:26Speaker 16: that main road. But I just think we've got too
- 53:29Speaker 16: much with the tracking. And I honestly couldn't think of
- 53:31Speaker 16: anything worse than having a WhatsApp group notifying me of
- 53:35Speaker 16: where hundreds of different children are that.
- 53:38Speaker 15: Aren't my own.
- 53:40Speaker 1: Well, it's only really for the mums who are wanting
- 53:42Speaker 1: to know where their children are. In my case, I
- 53:48Speaker 1: needed Kobe home. And you've got to remember, Kobe has
- 53:51Speaker 1: just turned seven. So he's basically, in my head, he's
- 53:53Speaker 1: still six. And I needed him home. I'd said, I normally,
- 53:57Speaker 1: I try to give a lot of my kids freedom
- 53:59Speaker 1: and I try to encourage independence and all of those things.
- 54:02Speaker 1: But I will say, hey, okay, you can go to
- 54:04Speaker 1: the park, but I need you back in an hour. Now,
- 54:06Speaker 1: my kids don't have any of the smartwatches or anything.
- 54:09Speaker 1: So the guy actually has no concept of time. So
- 54:12Speaker 1: in his case, when he wasn't back in two hours,
- 54:15Speaker 1: I was like, hey. Where is Kobe, guys? I need
- 54:20Speaker 1: eyes on Kobe.
- 54:20Speaker 2: Have you thought about maybe just giving them a really
- 54:23Speaker 2: dumb phone or something you can follow them on?
- 54:26Speaker 1: I would not give my kids a phone. I will
- 54:29Speaker 1: look into maybe potentially getting the watches. So my girlfriend
- 54:33Speaker 1: who lives in my street, her kids have the watches.
- 54:35Speaker 1: They actually don't wear them every day. But when they
- 54:38Speaker 1: leave the street, she says, if you want to go
- 54:40Speaker 1: out or go up to the park or ride up
- 54:42Speaker 1: to your mates, you've got to wear the watch.
- 54:43Speaker 15: All right.
- 54:44Speaker 3: Alicia, you're on. Hi. Hey, Alicia.
- 54:46Speaker 13: Hello.
- 54:47Speaker 1: Good morning.
- 54:47Speaker 13: Hey.
- 54:48Speaker 3: What are you doing?
- 54:49Speaker 4: So I have a– today he's 11.
- 54:52Speaker 5: Oh, nice.
- 54:53Speaker 1: Happy birthday to your son.
- 54:55Speaker 5: Yes.
- 54:55Speaker 10: Thank you.
- 54:56Speaker 13: Happy birthday, Jack.
- 54:58Speaker 4: Basically, he has a Smartalk watch.
- 55:00Speaker 1: Yep.
- 55:01Speaker 16: But when he goes riding, he goes with a mate
- 55:04Speaker 16: that has a phone.
- 55:05Speaker 5: Yes.
- 55:06Speaker 12: And so if we can't get either.
- 55:07Speaker 1: Of them– Yep.
- 55:09Speaker 4: We then go in the car and we hunt them down.
- 55:13Speaker 12: About two weeks ago, we hunted them down because who
- 55:16Speaker 12: knows who's out there?
- 55:17Speaker 1: I know. So you can, if they don't answer on
- 55:21Speaker 1: their watch or their phone, you can still see their location.
- 55:23Speaker 8: Is that right?
- 55:25Speaker 1: Yes, that's correct.
- 55:26Speaker 3: What were they doing when you found them?
- 55:28Speaker 12: Oh, just riding around on a bike track.
- 55:30Speaker 3: And ignoring you.
- 55:31Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 55:32Speaker 10: I know.
- 55:32Speaker 2: Because you can have the watches and the phones, but
- 55:34Speaker 2: they can just ignore you, right?
- 55:35Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 55:36Speaker 10: All right.
- 55:36Speaker 3: And Beck's on. Hi, Beck.
- 55:37Speaker 1: Hey, Beck.
- 55:38Speaker 5: Hi.
- 55:39Speaker 4: Hi, guys.
- 55:40Speaker 13: So mine's a little different. I actually track my son's
- 55:43Speaker 13: Google search. So not physically himself because he doesn't really
- 55:48Speaker 13: go anywhere. So our phones are connected. He's connected to
- 55:52Speaker 13: my Google account. So therefore, all of his search history
- 55:57Speaker 13: is my search history.
- 55:58Speaker 5: Oh, my God.
- 55:58Speaker 1: How old is he?
- 55:59Speaker 13: He's 10.
- 56:00Speaker 5: Okay.
- 56:01Speaker 1: So it's probably still harmless now.
- 56:03Speaker 3: Well, what does a 10-year-old look up?
- 56:05Speaker 1: Yeah, what does a 10-year-old look up?
- 56:06Speaker 3: Roblox?
- 56:08Speaker 2: YouTube.
- 56:09Speaker 13: So last night I did see what happens if I
- 56:12Speaker 13: eat 10 blocks of butter.
- 56:14Speaker 1: Yeah, literally.
- 56:18Speaker 3: That sounds like a 10-year-old kind of thing.
- 56:20Speaker 1: That's something a 10-year-old would type into Google.
- 56:22Speaker 3: Good on you, Bec.
- 56:23Speaker 2: We have something very exciting to announce right now. iHeart
- 56:26Speaker 2: Country and Kiss is going to present iHeart Live with
- 56:31Speaker 2: Shaboosie and someone is going to head over to San
- 56:35Speaker 2: Francisco to see Shaboosie live in concert. You'll be going
- 56:39Speaker 2: backstage to meet him to celebrate. We have Shaboosie on
- 56:43Speaker 2: the line.
- 56:43Speaker 9: Hello, mate.
- 56:44Speaker 3: Congratulations. This is going to be amazing.
- 56:46Speaker 11: How are you doing, man?
- 56:48Speaker 5: Thanks for having me.
- 56:49Speaker 3: Yeah, we're excited for it. Do you love meeting your fans?
- 56:52Speaker 11: Love meeting my fans. I got the best fans in
- 56:54Speaker 11: the world.
- 56:55Speaker 2: Have you had anyone come up to you and they're
- 56:56Speaker 2: a bit too much or like you know does it
- 56:59Speaker 2: get a bit.
- 56:59Speaker 11: Like no man if anything i'm a bit too much
- 57:01Speaker 11: when i meet my fans i'm jumping in the crowd
- 57:03Speaker 11: um i'm putting people on my shoulders i'm bringing people
- 57:07Speaker 11: on stage i'm screaming i'm yelling my fans.
- 57:09Speaker 2: Can be hyped okay now what what can we expect
- 57:12Speaker 2: for your concert what is if someone gets to go
- 57:14Speaker 2: over to san francisco to see you live what happens
- 57:18Speaker 2: at a shibuzi concert.
- 57:20Speaker 11: Man, you got to come and find out, man. It's
- 57:22Speaker 11: a crazy experience.
- 57:23Speaker 3: A lot of fun.
- 57:24Speaker 11: All family, everyone's invited. All ages, all family members, everyone.
- 57:30Speaker 3: So it's a fun time.
- 57:32Speaker 11: I think anyone who's been to Shabuzy's show knows it's
- 57:35Speaker 11: not going to be your last time coming to one
- 57:37Speaker 11: of my shows.
- 57:38Speaker 3: Hey, a bar song. Do you do that last? Is
- 57:41Speaker 3: that the encore?
- 57:42Speaker 11: Oh, man, you got to come find out. You got
- 57:44Speaker 11: to come find out. Usually, up until this point, it's last.
- 57:47Speaker 11: But I think we have a really cool set list.
- 57:49Speaker 11: I'm really proud of what me and the band have
- 57:51Speaker 11: been able to put together. And I think people are
- 57:53Speaker 11: going to really enjoy it.
- 57:54Speaker 3: Okay. One more question. How are you with phone etiquette?
- 57:58Speaker 2: We've been talking a lot on the show lately about
- 58:00Speaker 2: people holding up their phones, filming while the concert's on.
- 58:04Speaker 2: Some artists don't want them doing it.
- 58:06Speaker 3: What do you do?
- 58:07Speaker 11: And then, you know, just do what you want. You know,
- 58:10Speaker 11: it's your world. Be free.
- 58:12Speaker 3: Have fun.
- 58:13Speaker 11: Just stay safe. And, you know, take care of the
- 58:15Speaker 11: people around you.
- 58:16Speaker 3: He's all good with it.
- 58:17Speaker 13: All right.
- 58:17Speaker 2: Well, you can be going to see Shaboosie live in
- 58:21Speaker 2: San Francisco with our iHeart Country and Kiss Presents iHeart
- 58:25Speaker 2: Live with Shaboosie.
- 58:27Speaker 3: Thank you, mate.
- 58:28Speaker 1: Shaboosie's new single, Cowgirl, is out now. From his new album,
- 58:33Speaker 1: The Outlaw, Cherry Lee and Oven Western Tales. Head to
- 58:37Speaker 1: the iHeart app now to enter.
- 58:39Speaker 3: All right. I reckon we're going to play his biggest
- 58:40Speaker 3: hit ever. What do you reckon? Here we go.
- 58:42Speaker 2: A bar song. Then Nat's got to hit a celeb news.
- 58:45Speaker 2: Last call's coming up too. 131065 to get on air.
- 58:49Speaker 1: I want to get tipsy now.
- 58:50Speaker 3: Yeah. Let's just get drunk. Why not? And last call's now. 131065.
- 58:57Speaker 3: You want to get on air? Let's go, Sam. Hello, Sam.
- 58:59Speaker 1: Hey, Sam.
- 59:00Speaker 5: Hello, guys.
- 59:01Speaker 3: How are you? Good, darling.
- 59:03Speaker 13: How are you?
- 59:03Speaker 11: You?
- 59:03Speaker 3: What's going on?
- 59:04Speaker 15: All right. I had the best weekend. I actually went
- 59:08Speaker 15: to Bingo Loco for the first time on the weekend.
- 59:11Speaker 3: What's that?
- 59:12Speaker 5: Oh, my God.
- 59:12Speaker 1: My girlfriends went to this on the weekend as well.
- 59:14Speaker 1: Can you tell? It looks so fun.
- 59:17Speaker 8: Oh, it is.
- 59:18Speaker 15: So please, please try and get down to Melbourne. If
- 59:21Speaker 15: they have it in Sydney, wherever you are, please get
- 59:23Speaker 15: there because it is an amazing night.
- 59:25Speaker 3: What is that, Barb? What the hell is that?
- 59:27Speaker 1: So it's like bingo and disco, is that right?
- 59:31Speaker 15: And a rave party. It's a rave party, really.
- 59:33Speaker 3: Nicole Kidman should go there. She's been going to raves.
- 59:37Speaker 1: Does it go all night?
- 59:38Speaker 15: Three intense rounds, yeah. It went for three hours.
- 59:42Speaker 1: Oh, and so you can actually win prizes and stuff?
- 59:45Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 59:46Speaker 13: Oh, yeah.
- 59:47Speaker 15: I actually won a disco ball motorbike helmet.
- 59:52Speaker 3: And four beers.
- 59:53Speaker 1: And four beers.
- 59:54Speaker 3: Bingo.
- 59:55Speaker 1: Wait, a disco ball motorbike helmet. That would be so cool.
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: And not really useful.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: Do you even have a motorbike, Sam?
- 1:00:02Speaker 5: No.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: You can just wear it out next time you go.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: To the... What's it called? Bingo Loco.
- 1:00:10Speaker 3: Oh, you went to Bingo Loco, Chelsea.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: I did, and I won an air fryer. What is.
- 1:00:15Speaker 10: What?
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: Can you explain it properly?
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: It's bingo.
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: Bingo with music.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: Yeah, so it's essentially like a big rave. So it's
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: like a massive dance floor, but tables are set up
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: and they do three rounds of bingo, but it's like
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: a long bingo.
- 1:00:26Speaker 11: Okay.
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: Sounds fun.
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: And it's just got.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: Heaps of vibe, good atmosphere, all of those things, right?
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: Unlike old people kind of normal bingo.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: Yeah, like normal bingo. You sit in a stale kind
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: of hall.
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: Did you meet men there, Chelsea? I know you're tragically single.
- 1:00:42Speaker 16: There were a few cute men, but they were all
- 1:00:44Speaker 16: like drunk and rowdy.
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: What's wrong with that?
- 1:00:47Speaker 9: So much.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: So much.
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: Belle's on.
- 1:00:50Speaker 15: Hi, Belle.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: That actually looks fun. Hey, Belle.
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: Morning, guys.
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: How are you?
- 1:00:54Speaker 5: Good.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: How are you?
- 1:00:55Speaker 8: Good.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: I'm good.
- 1:00:58Speaker 12: Actually, I'd like to say I'm glad that you guys
- 1:01:00Speaker 12: have taken last calls because at least I can vent
- 1:01:03Speaker 12: to you.
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: Guys first, my husband.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: Get it off your chest.
- 1:01:06Speaker 16: Let's discuss the presents that family members give your kids. Oh, yeah.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: Or anybody, really.
- 1:01:14Speaker 13: Yep.
- 1:01:14Speaker 12: Is there a hidden sign behind it that they actually
- 1:01:17Speaker 12: hate you? Or what is it?
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: Or do they think that the loud violin or the
- 1:01:22Speaker 4: musical box or just any annoying loud sound bloody toy
- 1:01:26Speaker 4: that comes home.
- 1:01:28Speaker 12: It makes me question. I swear my sister-in-law hates me.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: My auntie turned up to my house the other day. Oh,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: this is about a month ago. And she had all
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: these little goodie bags for my kids because we don't
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: see her very often. And there was like some chalk
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: and water balloons. And then in each bag she had
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: brought them a recorder. And I– my kids– hang on.
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: My kids do not know how to play the recorder.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: All they could get out of it is that it
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: made a loud sound. And I said, Aunty Megan, do
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: you hate me? Like, why have you done this to me?
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: And the more irritated I got, the more my kids
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: played it. And then she was like, no, no, no,
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: it's a really great musical instrument. And I was like–
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: You are the devil.
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: It's not on.
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: We were giving my mum crap the other day. We
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: remember as kids, our cousin was staying with us, you know,
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: for a week over summer or whatever. Mum gave my
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: cousin a puppy to take home.
- 1:02:21Speaker 5: What?
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: Like it was just fine. Can you believe it?
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: No, she would have checked in with your.
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: No, she didn't. You cannot do that.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: And I remember we dropped her back at.
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: Home and Aunty Robyn was like, what the.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: Poppy.
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: And Mum was like, she wanted it.
- 1:02:34Speaker 8: Heather wanted the puppy.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: Oh, my God. Can you believe my mum did that?
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: That is outrageous.
- 1:02:40Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: If one of my brothers bought one of my kids
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: a puppy, I would disown him as a family member.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: I still can't believe my mum did it.
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: Hey, tomorrow on the show, Celebrity Psychic Georgina Walker, we
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: give you the chance to drive away in.
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: A brand new car.
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: Thousands to be won with our pop quiz and all that.
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: And coming up more right here on Kiss. We're back tomorrow,
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: 6am bright and early. We'll see you then.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: Yeah, see you in the morning.
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: You finally got your coffee.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: I have finally woken up. That was an... Exceptional coffee.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: Thank you, Chelsea.
- 1:03:11Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: Let's make sure we get her a coffee at the
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: start of the show. She'll be way more focused.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: I'll be way better tomorrow, guys. I promise.
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: See you then.
- 1:03:19Speaker 5: Bye-bye.
