Mimi Blanton, beloved matriarch and lifelong champion of children, passed away at 90 after a lifetime of selfless service—20 years feeding hungry kids in school cafeterias. She leaves behind a legacy of love, including her daughters Toi and Valerie, nine grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren, who cared for her in her final days. A graveside service is set for July 14th at Greenlawn Memorial Park, followed by a family gathering at Toi and Brian Pettus’ home.
