The Real Aubrey Offer & Why Scouts Should Control The Draft | Doin’ Alright
Episode 109: Bryan Broaddus and Voch Lombardi clear up the rumors surrounding Brandon Aubrey, explaining the original offer was actually closer to $7M and that $10M was only a counter offer. They also explore the hypothetical scenario of Aubrey signing elsewhere and whether Dallas could realistically land a second-round pick in return. The conversation shifts to Will McClay and why the draft process should be driven by McClay and the scouting department rather than coaches.
