- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Mark Simone Show on seven ten. Wr
- 0:04Speaker 1: Ken Fromart Today, here's Ken Rosotto and it's so nice
- 0:09Speaker 1: to be with you on this Friday. It's going to
- 0:12Speaker 1: be a decent day today. And I know who's gonna
- 0:14Speaker 1: make it more decent. Our friend, Vincent and Brooklyn. Good morning, Vincent,
- 0:17Speaker 1: Good morning Ken.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Ken. About sixty years ago, I attended an all boys
- 0:22Speaker 2: vocational high school and I had a great home economics teacher.
- 0:27Speaker 2: And when he wasn't talking about how to balance your
- 0:30Speaker 2: checkbook and how to how to survive on your salary,
- 0:35Speaker 2: he talked about world events, and he taught, he spoke
- 0:38Speaker 2: about his art. And this man was an Oskenazi Jew.
- 0:42Speaker 2: And he said, unlike Christianity, Judaism, Taoism and Buddhism, he says,
- 0:49Speaker 2: the difference between those religions and Islam. He says, Islam
- 0:54Speaker 2: it's either you convert or I'll cut your throat. Whereas
- 0:59Speaker 2: Judy is you want to be a Jew fine. Christianity,
- 1:03Speaker 2: you want to be a Christian fine. Even the missionaries,
- 1:06Speaker 2: the Christian missionaries when they went around the world, mainly
- 1:10Speaker 2: they went to these countries where people were really sick.
- 1:13Speaker 2: They whether in China and elsewhere in Africa. They were
- 1:19Speaker 2: there to bring fresh water, food. Yeah, they set up
- 1:22Speaker 2: schools and everything, but if you didn't want to go,
- 1:25Speaker 2: you didn't want to go. Ken In Italy, especially in Milan,
- 1:31Speaker 2: in the big cities, they have big crime problems because
- 1:35Speaker 2: the first and set there's mainly the second generation of
- 1:40Speaker 2: the Arab peoples that came to work in Italy, got
- 1:46Speaker 2: their citizenship, learned to speak the language, were well placed
- 1:49Speaker 2: in society. Their children, like a lot of our children here,
- 1:53Speaker 2: they don't want any part of it. They want to
- 1:55Speaker 2: be drug dealers. They want to be criminals. They go
- 1:59Speaker 2: into these high end shopping stores like they do out
- 2:03Speaker 2: in the West Coast, and here fifty kids and they
- 2:06Speaker 2: just clean it out. They just take over. And recently
- 2:09Speaker 2: I saw a video where a policeman was trying to
- 2:12Speaker 2: stop them. They beat the living daylights out of the cops.
- 2:17Speaker 1: And let's if I could just step in for one second,
- 2:19Speaker 1: let's just be clear. They're and I got I know
- 2:22Speaker 1: it sounds like, oh really, there were plenty of good ones. Yes,
- 2:25Speaker 1: there are a plenty of beautiful watervls you and not
- 2:28Speaker 1: both of from that. No, but you're right, you're you're
- 2:30Speaker 1: giving real life examples of things that happened there are
- 2:33Speaker 1: the think about this, many, not all, but many of
- 2:37Speaker 1: the people who commuted, who traveled to Italy, Spain, Portugal,
- 2:42Speaker 1: parts of France, right Paris, they were gangsters and drug
- 2:45Speaker 1: dealers looking to make a buck. So they looked as
- 2:48Speaker 1: they're opportunists. They went there. They just happened to be
- 2:52Speaker 1: from Islamic countries, so it's not that they were going there,
- 2:55Speaker 1: but yeah, they come, they come with their their mentality boom.
- 2:59Speaker 1: There is a an investigation going on right now here
- 3:02Speaker 1: in Manhattan where there is a place where all the
- 3:06Speaker 1: pushcart people bring their pushcarts and it is sort of
- 3:10Speaker 1: a secret, behind the scenes mosque, and so you go in,
- 3:15Speaker 1: you drop off your cart and there is literally a
- 3:18Speaker 1: mosque running on the inside. But there's a lot of
- 3:22Speaker 1: conversation going on, and the question is some of the
- 3:25Speaker 1: individuals there are there for nefarious reasons. That's the investigation.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Nothing's been proven yet, it's under investigation, but I think
- 3:31Speaker 1: we're going to find out a lot more about this
- 3:33Speaker 1: in the weeks and months to come.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Yeah, in Colabria, the Colabrian mafia, what they did, They
- 3:42Speaker 2: now employ the black migrants from Africa. They're the main
- 3:47Speaker 2: cocaine traffick is the Colombian send it to the mob
- 3:51Speaker 2: in Colabria and then they distributed. The black Africans are
- 3:57Speaker 2: the dealers, are the street dealers. I had hanchos at
- 4:01Speaker 2: are collaborate in the mafia, but the street dealers are
- 4:06Speaker 2: the African well, the black Africans a ken and it's
- 4:11Speaker 2: the same thing in Milan. I was coming home from
- 4:14Speaker 2: a pastry shop with my friend Alfred, from a Sicilian
- 4:18Speaker 2: pastry shop, and this zombie, this junkie comes up to
- 4:22Speaker 2: our car and he didn't know who he was fool
- 4:25Speaker 2: of with my buddy Alfredo doesn't take anything from anybody.
- 4:29Speaker 2: He grabbed this guy by the neck under no certain terms,
- 4:33Speaker 2: made him realize that if he went forward, well.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Let's just say, let's just say here, Vincent, before we
- 4:39Speaker 1: indict anybody, let's just say that he had a little
- 4:41Speaker 1: conversation with this individual.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Exactly, and he made that guy have a conversation with
- 4:47Speaker 2: whoever he calls his god.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Accidentally. Accidentally, this individual, let's just say, his individual teeth
- 4:54Speaker 1: ended up in the on the floor as.
- 4:57Speaker 2: On the gun Ken.
- 4:58Speaker 1: It's just amazing how his face kept hitting your friend's
- 5:00Speaker 1: hand and it just wouldn't stop.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Exactly, Ken, exactly. Man. Well you have a great week,
- 5:07Speaker 2: a great speaking to you, a zoy and hey man,
- 5:11Speaker 2: what a rough summer this has been, between these heat waves,
- 5:15Speaker 2: these downpours. Late last night, I was running up and
- 5:18Speaker 2: down between my cellar and Paula Floyd trying to make
- 5:22Speaker 2: sure that my house wasn't going to float away.
- 5:25Speaker 1: It was crazy, it was It's amazing how much water
- 5:28Speaker 1: fell at once. Vincent, I'm with you.
- 5:29Speaker 2: My friend Milan actually in the middle of the night
- 5:34Speaker 2: set me a picture of that water spot that hit
- 5:37Speaker 2: the south shore of Long Island.
- 5:40Speaker 1: I love it how somebody in Milan is letting us
- 5:42Speaker 1: know about something happening two miles away from.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Us because I was so busy worried about my own property.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Oh jeez, it's crazy, it's crazy float away, Vincent. I
- 5:51Speaker 1: was saying, I watched this guy on YouTube. He's a
- 5:55Speaker 1: meteorologist in the South, and I'll just say the word. Y'all,
- 5:59Speaker 1: people who are into who are weather geeks will know
- 6:01Speaker 1: who I'm talking about. I don't want to promote the
- 6:03Speaker 1: show of us. He already has like a million followers,
- 6:05Speaker 1: but he he is this brilliant meteorologist, and he has
- 6:08Speaker 1: this network of cameras and radars from all over the country.
- 6:13Speaker 1: He was all over the Northeast with these storms yesterday
- 6:16Speaker 1: like white on Rice. Everybody who's like all these meteorologists
- 6:20Speaker 1: were calling into him, showing and helping him, and it
- 6:23Speaker 1: was crazy to watch. But as that water spout was forming,
- 6:26Speaker 1: he had it live. It was crazy to watch it.
- 6:29Speaker 1: But thank god I saw it live.
- 6:31Speaker 2: When it was hitting Atlantic Beach this morning. I saw
- 6:36Speaker 2: a feet of it that was somebody captured, and hey,
- 6:40Speaker 2: thank god only one. You could always replace property and things.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Thank God there was no loss of life. That's all I.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Vincent, my friend, you have a wonderful weekend. Enjoy it.
- 6:55Speaker 1: I know summer's coming to an end, so you enjoy yourself.
- 6:58Speaker 2: All right, you too, can great weekends. Wait speaking to
- 7:02Speaker 2: you as always, ken like I can't buddy out.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Thank you Bill in New Jersey, Thank you for being
- 7:07Speaker 1: so patient. Good morning to you.
- 7:10Speaker 3: Wow, that was a long one.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Listen, the rule of thumb is you don't cut off Vincent.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Just think of the guy in Malona.
- 7:18Speaker 3: Okay, I guess well, I'm going to bring up a
- 7:23Speaker 3: subject that has been talked about for thousands of years,
- 7:25Speaker 3: and we'll be talking about for thousands more. But it's religion.
- 7:31Speaker 3: It's God, who is God in everybody's mind. You mentioned
- 7:35Speaker 3: all the different religions before, and I'll speak briefly about
- 7:40Speaker 3: Christianity and Jesus. Was Jesus born and did he die
- 7:47Speaker 3: as a Jew? Man? He will say yes, did he
- 7:51Speaker 3: live the Jewish way of life? Well, the Jews back
- 7:55Speaker 3: in the day didn't seem to believe so, because they
- 7:58Speaker 3: called him a blasphemer and they had him crucified. So
- 8:02Speaker 3: you know, I talked to too many Jews that are
- 8:06Speaker 3: my friends, and they say, you know, being a Jew
- 8:09Speaker 3: is the way of life, and if you don't live
- 8:12Speaker 3: the Jewish way of life, then you're not a Jew.
- 8:14Speaker 3: And these guys are my age in the seventies. They
- 8:17Speaker 3: have sons who are Orthodox jew and they call their
- 8:20Speaker 3: fathers had pass Jews because they don't go to the
- 8:23Speaker 3: temple or synagogue and they don't practice the faith. They
- 8:26Speaker 3: just want to run their businesses. So Christianity, it begins
- 8:31Speaker 3: with Christ. Christmas, it begins with Christ.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Was Jesus a Jew?
- 8:38Speaker 3: Evidently not because they killed him because he spoke against
- 8:42Speaker 3: the Jewish way of life, and he started Christianity. So
- 8:47Speaker 3: the Catholics follow that closer than any other religion, and.
- 8:51Speaker 1: The Orthodox, the Orthodox, we got to say, we have
- 8:53Speaker 1: to always throw that out. I was a Catholic priest,
- 8:55Speaker 1: so we always say the Catholic and the Orthodox together
- 8:57Speaker 1: really followed. In fact, the Orthodox would say their tradition
- 9:00Speaker 1: is actually more closely related. And don't. I'm only cutting
- 9:02Speaker 1: us off because we have news coming up here. But Bill,
- 9:06Speaker 1: you're you're not wrong, and a lot of that. We
- 9:08Speaker 1: could have the discussion about whether he was a Jew.
- 9:11Speaker 1: I think most people would say most that he was
- 9:14Speaker 1: a Jew because he never remember he never abolished Judaism
- 9:18Speaker 1: per se. I know people are going to debate me
- 9:20Speaker 1: on that he is the he was meant to bring
- 9:23Speaker 1: the faith and the resurrection and blah blah blh, etcetera, etcetera.
- 9:26Speaker 1: I don't want to get into a religious discussion. We
- 9:28Speaker 1: could do that off the air. But Jesus was supposed
- 9:31Speaker 1: to be the let's say, say, the reader's digest version
- 9:35Speaker 1: and to bring everybody back to the faith. But again
- 9:38Speaker 1: that's a discussion for another day. But thank you very much, Bill,
- 9:41Speaker 1: I appreciate it. But yes, religion. While people love to
- 9:43Speaker 1: criticize and say, you see the world religions, they're the
- 9:46Speaker 1: cause of all the wars. No, no, no, it's people
- 9:49Speaker 1: are the cause of the wars, not the religion. So please,
- 9:51Speaker 1: let's let's not go there.
