• 3:06
Speaker 1: Josh uh, I know we're not on this part of
• 3:08
Speaker 1: the show at all, but I see your weekly parlay.
• 3:11
  Speaker 2: Wow.
• 3:11
  Speaker 1: Yeah, I can't believe that's that's a huge up.
• 3:14
Speaker 2: Could have gone Northwestern, but with parlay the weekly probably
• 3:19
Speaker 2: we'll talk about the end of the show.
• 3:20
Speaker 1: I just peaked at the card of where we were
• 3:21
Speaker 1: all sitting, and I was like, oh, this is Oh
• 3:24
  Speaker 1: he's got he's got it.
• 3:26
Speaker 2: The Purple team. No, okay, but could have, could have,
• 3:30
Speaker 2: could but won't do that.
• 3:31
Speaker 1: What you're saying is your computer thing. He likes it.
• 3:34
Speaker 2: Yeah, likes Northwestern the like just kids. Just keeps liking
• 3:37
Speaker 2: Michigan to win, Dog to cover. It's been on a roll.
• 3:41
Speaker 2: It's got Michigan pretty well nailed. Now it will not have.
• 3:44
Speaker 1: Michigan Michigan to win Northwestern to cover.
• 3:46
Speaker 2: Yeah, because of just like a head against Purdue. And
• 3:48
Speaker 2: then you push back on me, and I said, follow me, that.
• 3:52
Speaker 1: Is a textbook. I was not wrong. The players were.
• 3:54
Speaker 2: Well, they did screw up. They did my favorite, yeah favor.
• 3:58
Speaker 2: The common misconception the players don't always screw up against you.
• 4:01
Speaker 2: It's just when they screw up in your favor, you
• 4:03
Speaker 2: had a little something to do with it.
• 4:04
Speaker 1: And if I'm the players and I'm digesting both of
• 4:07
Speaker 1: these shows, obviously they've been bustling with the boys. Man,
• 4:09
Speaker 1: But I'm sure with the they see the Pate State
• 4:12
Speaker 1: Freight trained team moving, they are the acron The acronym
• 4:15
Speaker 1: is that what it is, and the fact that you
• 4:17
Speaker 1: guys might be at five hundred thousand subscribers by Thanksgiving,
• 4:20
Speaker 1: That's what some are saying. Some are saying that, like
• 4:22
Speaker 1: I would kind of want to get on that train,
• 4:24
Speaker 1: and so I think they kind of threw your bone
• 4:26
Speaker 1: there this week, though I definitely believe Michigan is going to.
• 4:28
Speaker 4: Cover there was somebody not throwing you a bone over
• 4:30
Speaker 4: the weekend having fun online?
• 4:33
Speaker 2: That does that profile ring a bell? Oh my goodness, Well,
• 4:37
Speaker 2: I guess we have to speak about him in past tense. Yeah,
• 4:40
  Speaker 2: he's dead. I don't I didn't play football, but he
• 4:43
Speaker 2: doesn't play Twitter anymore, so he's not having fun on Did.
• 4:45
Speaker 1: You see no I saw? Did you see somebody try
• 4:48
Speaker 1: to come after a boy? I did see somebody try
• 4:50
Speaker 1: to come after a boy? And I keep saying the
• 4:51
Speaker 1: name Brandon Walker, but no one's really responding.
• 4:53
Speaker 2: So it's anyone ever responded to the name Branda Walker?
• 4:57
Speaker 2: Mississippi State doesn't. Yeah, there there was somebody. Can I
• 5:02
Speaker 2: read this? May I read this out? And this is
• 5:05
Speaker 2: actually Josh Pate's new introduction. The problem with Josh Pate
• 5:10
Speaker 2: is he has zero real pedigree. Even the smallest remote
• 5:13
Speaker 2: achievement is absent. Didn't play college football, didn't work as
• 5:17
Speaker 2: a coacher administrator in college football, didn't cut his chops
• 5:21
Speaker 2: building sources and getting scoops and writing about college football.
• 5:24
Speaker 2: Mind you, all of.
• 5:25
Speaker 4: These, all these statements have exclamation points behind him.
• 5:28
Speaker 2: This dude is fired up.
• 5:29
Speaker 1: Hey so far level of truth?
• 5:30
  Speaker 2: Right, didn't sit.
• 5:33
Speaker 4: Didn't sit through production meetings with coaches and players to
• 5:36
  Speaker 4: broadcast college football.
• 5:37
Speaker 2: That you're to look for?
• 5:39
Speaker 4: Four Just a bald guy with a white T shirt
• 5:42
Speaker 4: and a microphone who likes the most rudimentary aspects of
• 5:46
  Speaker 4: the game.
• 5:47
Speaker 2: Guy went seven for seven. Yew, Will I ever make it? Yeah?
• 5:55
Speaker 1: You want to know where this guy is now? He's
• 5:57
Speaker 1: probably six feet under in a ditch somewhere in Georgia. Yeah,
• 6:01
Speaker 1: by that haunted house he was talking about way back
• 6:02
Speaker 1: when when we used to go with his friends and
• 6:04
Speaker 1: try to scare each other with it.
• 6:05
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, the Korean house. Hey, think about this. The
• 6:08
Speaker 2: guy didn't even have his real name or face, and
• 6:11
Speaker 2: it still got so hot for him he had to
• 6:13
Speaker 2: bail on Twitter. It's still got too hot.
• 6:15
Speaker 4: He started off with going private and then next thing
• 6:18
Speaker 4: you know, I get word, Oh, he's done. The profile
• 6:22
Speaker 4: no longer exists, and the profile was having fun online blue.
• 6:26
Speaker 2: He bought a blue check mark and everything.
• 6:27
Speaker 1: Yeah, I got stated was this Josh page? Did you
• 6:30
  Speaker 1: do this yourself?
• 6:32
Speaker 2: Friday? So the state folks came after him all day
• 6:35
Speaker 2: and all he did was go private. But then reinforcements
• 6:37
Speaker 2: show up about twenty hours later. The ratio is coming
• 6:40
Speaker 2: for him so hot. Yeah, he had to get out
• 6:43
Speaker 2: of it right about sundown. You know, it's like I'm
• 6:45
Speaker 2: George Bush and someone leans in and goes, sir, comptent.
• 6:48
Speaker 2: Reinforcements have arrived, and once that response goes up, Yeah,
• 6:53
Speaker 2: our boy, Yeah, he's the zodiac is Yeah, yeah, yeah,
• 7:00
Speaker 2: Teas and p Should we have a moment of silence?
• 7:02
Speaker 1: Absolutely? God speed having fun online. I hope he's heaving
• 7:11
  Speaker 1: for everybody. Everybody.
• 7:13
Speaker 2: The internet game is not for everybody. Taylor. Just going
• 7:15
Speaker 2: wide and seeing your boot is hilarious.
• 7:18
Speaker 1: Yeah. Do we even want to talk about that or
• 7:20
Speaker 1: should we just move on?
• 7:21
Speaker 2: We almost lost another soldier. Yeah, over the weekend.
• 7:24
Speaker 1: I'll be honest, for the last fourteen days've been fighting
• 7:26
Speaker 1: for my life, just quietly suffering in front of you
• 7:28
Speaker 1: guys while trying to give the people contents. I miss
• 7:31
Speaker 1: the days of freely walking. That's what I miss, you know,
• 7:35
Speaker 1: Like a healthy man wants a bunch of things, a
• 7:37
Speaker 1: sick man just wants one thing. Yeah, I'm the sick man.
• 7:39
Speaker 1: I just want to I want to. I want two
• 7:41
Speaker 1: feet that work. I want to be able to walk
• 7:43
Speaker 1: around this earth again like I used to.
• 7:45
Speaker 2: So is there another as a pro bowler? Did you
• 7:47
  Speaker 2: know that that?
• 7:48
Speaker 1: You know, I was like one of the best offensive
• 7:51
Speaker 1: linemen in the NFL for a little bit. The image
• 7:52
Speaker 1: just look at me, just seeking my boy, I'm slowly
• 7:58
Speaker 1: just becoming a pedestrian.
• 8:00
  Speaker 2: Man.
• 8:01
Speaker 1: No, I'm past that, dude. Pedestrians look down on me.
• 8:04
  Speaker 2: A statistic.
• 8:05
Speaker 1: I'm a statistic, statistic like you say it, like that
• 8:09
Speaker 1: statistic because I think I'm becoming.
• 8:11
Speaker 2: One, becoming a NARP.
• 8:14
Speaker 1: Yeah, non athlete, regular person. We called those muggles in Michigan.
• 8:19
Speaker 1: But yeah, yeah, dude, it's it's been hell. I had gout.
• 8:23
Speaker 1: I will say, like, I fought valiantly, and it's weird
• 8:27
Speaker 1: to like pat yourself on the back with that. But
• 8:28
Speaker 1: I started to get gout right before one of the
• 8:31
Speaker 1: best days of the year, Halloween. Trigger cheat with my
• 8:33
Speaker 1: kids met up with Will Will Goes. I didn't even know.
• 8:36
Speaker 2: You were dealing with it. You didn't even sell it right.
• 8:38
Speaker 1: I was just quietly limping by myself, always yeah, just
• 8:42
Speaker 1: being with my kids, and we walked that fucking neighborhood
• 8:45
Speaker 1: man when down came back. By the time we had
• 8:47
Speaker 1: done with a walk, I'm hurting, dude. That whole weekend
• 8:50
Speaker 1: I'm laid up. Is it bad? I don't know, Like
• 8:52
Speaker 1: I get to watch football the whole time. So it
• 8:54
Speaker 1: kind of worked out for me, and every time I
• 8:55
Speaker 1: put it up, it felt great. Starts to get a
• 8:57
Speaker 1: little bit better and better and better. This Monday is
• 8:59
Speaker 1: when I took a turn and I was like, oh,
• 9:01
Speaker 1: I think I'm finally getting back to me. Hit myself
• 9:03
Speaker 1: a little workout. Tuesday, hit a workout, and then sometime
• 9:07
Speaker 1: yesterday I get home. I'm walking around a little bit
• 9:10
Speaker 1: and playing with the kids, and my foot just starts
• 9:13
Speaker 1: to really hurt. And it's like, yeah, whatever, do we've
• 9:15
Speaker 1: been here before? This is not too bad. Go put
• 9:17
Speaker 1: my kids asleep. It's by the time my kids are
• 9:20
Speaker 1: asleep in bed and I'm walking down to my room,
• 9:22
Speaker 1: I am in so much pain. I'm like grabbing onto
• 9:25
Speaker 1: the handrailing, like going down the stairs doing the one
• 9:27
Speaker 1: foot gathered to my bad foot, one foot gathered my
• 9:29
Speaker 1: back foot. I said, there with my wife. Finished season
• 9:33
Speaker 1: one of land Man Incredible Body, and have you seen it?
• 9:39
Speaker 2: Not only have I seen it? I spoke to the
• 9:41
Speaker 2: guy Saturday who the show is based on, who is
• 9:43
Speaker 2: loosely Cody Campbell at Texas Tech or Monty in the
• 9:46
Speaker 2: show John Hamm continue season two, that's awesome.
• 9:50
Speaker 1: We will follow up on that. Finish that. And we're
• 9:53
Speaker 1: laying in bed and my foot is in so much pain.
• 9:55
Speaker 1: The dition in the gout and this is the gout
• 9:58
Speaker 1: I would be able to put up. And I only
• 10:00
Speaker 1: get to a position We're like, oh, I can fall asleep,
• 10:01
Speaker 1: there's no pain here. I was in so much pain lesson.
• 10:03
Speaker 1: I looked at my wife. I go, hey, I hate this.
• 10:06
Speaker 1: I think I'm gonna go to the hospital, like and
• 10:08
Speaker 1: just figure out like this foot's broken or something. Go
• 10:10
Speaker 1: to the hospital and there until three am. Listen to
• 10:13
Speaker 1: the entire week was it eleven twelve week twelve predictions
• 10:17
Speaker 1: from Josh Pate. Realize that like twelve o two, twelve
• 10:20
Speaker 1: oh three, Like holy shit, Scotty just turned one. So
• 10:23
Speaker 1: I got some good things out of the way that
• 10:25
Speaker 1: easily I could have forgotten about, especially the birthday. I
• 10:27
Speaker 1: mean that is textbook me to forget something like that.
• 10:30
Speaker 1: So some good things came out of it. Bad news.
• 10:33
Speaker 1: I think they think I tore ligaments in my foot
• 10:35
Speaker 1: because of walking with such a swollen foot. I was
• 10:39
Speaker 1: putting so much pressure in areas that they're usually is
• 10:41
Speaker 1: in pressure, and some of these ligaments torn. So we
• 10:43
Speaker 1: talk in surgery, buddy, if I have to have surgery
• 10:47
Speaker 1: because a gal like put old yell or me, take
• 10:49
Speaker 1: me outside, talk real nice to me where my heart
• 10:52
Speaker 1: rate finally gets down to like a relaxed pace and
• 10:55
Speaker 1: pull the trigger. That would be awful. So I don't
• 10:58
Speaker 1: know yet. Long story short. Here I am five hours
• 11:02
Speaker 1: of sleep. I'm in a boot crutches get out. I
• 11:05
Speaker 1: see you. You kind of do this in your cars.
• 11:06
Speaker 1: You're on a conference call with Lane Lane Kiffin. I
• 11:09
Speaker 1: just hear it will go oh, I'm going him, I'm dad.
• 11:13
Speaker 1: I just think where else would you rather be the
• 11:16
Speaker 1: one just getting out of the car.
• 11:19
Speaker 2: He's handing like crutches like.
• 11:21
Speaker 1: I see like slowly. My boys are just watching.
• 11:27
Speaker 2: And you lean you forgot to tell me what you
• 11:29
Speaker 2: leaned on the car until the crutches were handed to you.
• 11:31
Speaker 2: You couldn't stand up. His kid got a happy birthday,
• 11:34
Speaker 2: I got a podcast download. You got torn ligaments out
• 11:36
Speaker 2: of the right. Yeah.
• 11:39
Speaker 1: Man, I try to lift your boys up, you know,
• 11:42
Speaker 1: try looked up the confidence, trying to be that uncle,
• 11:45
Speaker 1: that godfather, that hey fucking he was the first one
• 11:47
Speaker 1: at text. Here I am man in a boot thinking
• 11:52
Speaker 1: I gotta fly to New York tonight. We gotta wear
• 11:54
Speaker 1: suits tomorrow. Yeah, because we'ren't mad at Yeah. He's on
• 11:58
Speaker 1: the other side for a reason, because he was gonna
• 11:59
Speaker 1: bring up we have wear suits tomorrow.
• 12:01
Speaker 2: Could this just be a waste up situation?
• 12:02
Speaker 1: Do you think I might have to be you know
• 12:04
Speaker 1: what it might have to be? Yeah, I'm not even
• 12:07
Speaker 1: wearing a suit that fits me. I'm looking at him.
• 12:09
Speaker 1: Just for a court appearance, I'm wearing you're up.
• 12:12
Speaker 2: They're applying for a long three.
• 12:13
Speaker 1: Ten tailor suits. That's what I'm wearing. AnyWho, we're gonna
• 12:17
Speaker 1: have a helvi a show today.
• 12:18
Speaker 2: Boy, Let's have a hell of a show.
• 12:20
Speaker 1: Yeah, but who before we get into the actual show
• 12:22
Speaker 1: and talk to me about this valument that was based
• 12:25
  Speaker 1: on Monty.
• 12:26
Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, So Manty is John Ham in land Man, Yes,
• 12:30
Speaker 2: and he's a big energy billionaire and he just sits
• 12:33
Speaker 2: in his office all day, flies around on private planes.
• 12:35
Speaker 2: Although spoiler, I don't want to spoiler alert. If you
• 12:37
Speaker 2: haven't seen land Man season one, check it out.
• 12:39
Speaker 1: It's almost been a year the new season comes out.
• 12:42
Speaker 1: At this she's been given.
• 12:44
Speaker 2: Twenty four hours. I don't even want to spoil the
• 12:46
Speaker 2: end of Twister for people, and that came out in
• 12:47
Speaker 2: the mid nineties, but that's based loosely on the whole
• 12:53
Speaker 2: West Texas oil drilling energy scene. And I was just
• 12:58
Speaker 2: out there. Cody Campbell is the guy who's basically well
• 13:00
Speaker 2: one of the main guys who's bankrolling Texas Tech right now.
• 13:04
Speaker 2: The legend out there has it that that show and
• 13:07
Speaker 2: the character of John Ham Monty is based on Cody
• 13:11
Speaker 2: Campbell and the Double Legal energy guys. And so when
• 13:15
Speaker 2: I was out there in spring, they were saying, hey, man,
• 13:16
Speaker 2: we're trying to get Landman on campus for season two
• 13:19
Speaker 2: because there's a quarterback in the show who's committed to
• 13:21
Speaker 2: Texas Tech. I don't know if he stays committed in
• 13:23
Speaker 2: season two. You know how Nila is now, Yeah, not
• 13:25
Speaker 2: a total could be, but we'll see if he stays committed.
• 13:27
Speaker 2: But I was like sucking to Joey Maguire, you guys
• 13:30
Speaker 2: are gonna get involved in this, and he said, we're trying.
• 13:32
Speaker 2: If you want to mention it on your show, it's
• 13:33
Speaker 2: sure could help. We're trying. So we put the call
• 13:36
Speaker 2: out there and this was months ago when they were
• 13:38
Speaker 2: filming season two. So I haven't gotten an update, but
• 13:41
Speaker 2: we're going to see because season two drops really soon.
• 13:43
Speaker 2: We sound like we're just full on promotional for the show.
• 13:45
Speaker 1: Yeah this is not this is no free shot us,
• 13:47
  Speaker 1: but there's no.
• 13:47
Speaker 2: Free shotouts too. Yes, based on you know, like people
• 13:50
Speaker 2: who are kind of bankrolling the Texas Tech program right now.
• 13:53
Speaker 2: I know that's not a shock to many people, especially
• 13:56
Speaker 2: those of US hoops were out there and saw that place.
• 13:59
Speaker 2: Probably the best facilities in the country right now.
• 14:01
Speaker 1: That's what people. So we had Maguire on the show
• 14:04
Speaker 1: and he was talking about the facilities, somebody else brought
• 14:06
Speaker 1: up like people think they have the facilities, It's not
• 14:09
Speaker 1: like everyone might have Number two, we absolutely have the best.
• 14:11
Speaker 1: And a kid from Arizona like Texas Tech was never
• 14:16
Speaker 1: on my radar right ever, as a place to even humor, Like,
• 14:19
Speaker 1: I don't know anything about it, but you watch a
• 14:21
Speaker 1: show like land Man, you see all the TT's on there,
• 14:22
Speaker 1: you see how they're doing this year, it's perfect storm
• 14:24
Speaker 1: for me. I got to see what Love with Texas
• 14:26
Speaker 1: is all about. This is the atmosphere this past weekending,
• 14:29
Speaker 1: and it's like, how.
• 14:29
Speaker 4: Much better can they be than all the spots we've
• 14:32
Speaker 4: went around, right, Because how much better?
• 14:35
Speaker 1: You Abraska friends that they just did what a tw
• 14:37
Speaker 1: hundred and fifty million dollar renovation?
• 14:38
Speaker 2: It was something crazy and it's incredible.
• 14:40
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, Michigan did one a couple of years ago.
• 14:42
Speaker 1: It's incredible. LSU's is incredible. Oregon is doing a five
• 14:44
Speaker 1: hundred Alabama Alabama like there, we've we've seen the pinnacle
• 14:49
Speaker 1: at least we thought, yeah.
• 14:51
Speaker 2: Place is pretty incredible. Yeah, I gotta the only thing
• 14:54
Speaker 2: I can compare it to is those people who have
• 14:55
Speaker 2: been around Texas or if you've ever been around really
• 14:58
Speaker 2: really big time high schoo football. I'm talking about like
• 15:01
Speaker 2: six seven, eight, depending on what state you're from, the
• 15:04
Speaker 2: way that those towns, those towns are on a Friday night, Yeah,
• 15:11
Speaker 2: the way those towns are on a Friday night, where
• 15:14
Speaker 2: the whole thing just shuts down, like everybody, the cops
• 15:17
Speaker 2: are all in, the gas station attendants, they're all in
• 15:19
Speaker 2: for whatever that hometown team is. If you took that
• 15:23
Speaker 2: vibe and you turn the volume up to like two hundred,
• 15:26
Speaker 2: that's kind of what Lubbock is like. And you know
• 15:29
Speaker 2: what college towns are like. You know what Athens is like,
• 15:31
Speaker 2: ann Arbor's like Lincoln's, like those are college towns. Lubbock
• 15:35
Speaker 2: is a college town. I don't know how to describe
• 15:37
Speaker 2: this unless you just go there, but it feels almost
• 15:40
Speaker 2: like a high school town, and that everything is shut
• 15:44
Speaker 2: down for Texas Tech. Everything's all in for Texas Tech.
• 15:47
Speaker 2: It's six hours in any direction to the nearest civilization.
• 15:50
Speaker 2: You know, you're just on the moon and all you
• 15:52
Speaker 2: got is the guy next to you. You all got
• 15:55
Speaker 2: like Red Raider blood coursing through your veins, and oh,
• 15:58
Speaker 2: we got the nicest facilities in the country now, and
• 16:00
Speaker 2: oh we just bought ourselves a multi seven figure defensive line.
• 16:04
Speaker 2: Oh we may go win the Big twelve. We're all in.
• 16:06
Speaker 2: That's what it's like out there. God awesome. Now, did
• 16:10
Speaker 2: you see you see the video that I shot from
• 16:12
Speaker 2: the sideline of when when they were doing swag surfing,
• 16:15
Speaker 2: which every student body does, but they don't know it
• 16:17
Speaker 2: because they don't go around the country every week like
• 16:18
Speaker 2: we do. So but they're doing it. And they got
• 16:21
Speaker 2: the red smoke coming out of a little pipe there,
• 16:23
Speaker 2: and they got the mascot on the front row, and
• 16:25
  Speaker 2: there's a kid holding a poster that says, I love
• 16:29
Speaker 2: oil money. Drill, baby Drill. That's Texas Tech.
• 16:34
Speaker 1: We had to get there, Texas.
• 16:37
Speaker 2: Another what the sixth BAS football playoff ranking could could
• 16:41
Speaker 2: could mump up to fifth? Yes, some say they could
• 16:44
Speaker 2: bump up inside the top four. I'm not some some
• 16:47
Speaker 2: people say they could bump up inside the top four.
• 16:49
Speaker 1: Realistically, they go play all state Indiana, A and M Alabama.
• 16:55
Speaker 1: Where they have you done the FanDuel neutral site conversation?
• 16:58
Speaker 2: As Memo hit the model, they would be a dog
• 17:01
Speaker 2: against all four of those, but not like a three
• 17:04
Speaker 2: touchdown dog, not like USF would be or something like
• 17:06
Speaker 2: that that be competitive two touchdown dog. No dog, maybe
• 17:11
Speaker 2: like between seven and twelve, depending on which team you're
• 17:14
Speaker 2: talking about. Look, here's what I think we need to do.
• 17:17
Speaker 2: This is a team in the Big Twelve. So what
• 17:19
Speaker 2: we need to do is we need to refocus our microscope.
• 17:23
Speaker 2: Can they win the Big twelve? And if they win
• 17:25
Speaker 2: the Big Twelve, to me, that's a highly successful season.
• 17:28
Speaker 2: Whatever happens in the playoff is whatever happens in the playoff.
• 17:31
Speaker 2: I said the same thing about Kenny in Arizona State
• 17:32
Speaker 2: last year. Yeah, this is a conference that is not
• 17:35
Speaker 2: operating on the same level as the Big Ten of
• 17:37
Speaker 2: the SEC. So to me, it's always been stupid to
• 17:39
Speaker 2: look at him and say, well, hey, the only way
• 17:41
Speaker 2: you validate yourself in my mind, is if you go
• 17:43
Speaker 2: win playoff games, win your conference. The Big Twelve is
• 17:47
Speaker 2: the most evenly pitted conference in America. You don't have
• 17:51
Speaker 2: the vast disparity between have and have not out there
• 17:54
Speaker 2: historically like you do in the SEC or the Big Ten.
• 17:56
Speaker 2: Purdue's not winning the Big Ten right now, Kentucky's not
• 17:59
Speaker 2: winning the right now, But you could really go from
• 18:02
Speaker 2: last to first in the Big Twelve, especially if you
• 18:04
Speaker 2: invest like they did, so that would be a happy
• 18:06
  Speaker 2: story to me.
• 18:07
Speaker 4: What Texas Tech, if we get in the Heisman talk,
• 18:09
Speaker 4: where do you have Jacob Rodriguez.
• 18:11
Speaker 2: He's gotta be up there. I don't really do Heisman much.
• 18:13
Speaker 2: I would have him in my top five safely. How
• 18:17
Speaker 2: do I measure him against what Fernando Mendoz is doing,
• 18:20
Speaker 2: what Julian Sayin's doing, what Jeremi Love is doing, who
• 18:23
Speaker 2: probably ironically is not getting quite enough love right now
• 18:25
Speaker 2: might not be, but may after this weekend I did.
• 18:29
Speaker 2: It'll come down to big moments.
• 18:30
Speaker 4: I feel like some of that spotlight is coming into
• 18:33
Speaker 4: Texas Tech now that they are, you know, handling business
• 18:36
Speaker 4: winning the way that they are going into as a
• 18:39
Speaker 4: heavy like a big time favorite for the Big twelve,
• 18:41
Speaker 4: and now that you know his name is getting out
• 18:44
Speaker 4: there once he has one of those big moments. That's
• 18:45
Speaker 4: how it felt like like when we were talking the
• 18:47
Speaker 4: last linebacker to be in the conversation with me and Titeo,
• 18:50
Speaker 4: like he had what seven takeaways and anytime it felt
• 18:52
Speaker 4: like the microscope was getting on him or he'd have
• 18:55
Speaker 4: an interception, we have a play.
• 18:57
Speaker 1: To where you're talking about conversation.
• 19:00
Speaker 2: Yeah, when Manti Taya would pick a ball, I remember
• 19:03
Speaker 2: watching other games on ESPN, there would be breaking news
• 19:07
Speaker 2: on the bottom line. Manti Tya intercepts ball in the
• 19:10
Speaker 2: middle of second quarter against Navy, he got breaking news
• 19:13
Speaker 2: treatment for the big defensive plays. Yeah, dude, that's a
• 19:16
Speaker 2: whole other world. If people are like eighteen years old,
• 19:18
Speaker 2: you don't really remember twenty twelve all that much. The
• 19:21
Speaker 2: Manti Teow Heisman wave was real, was very real. Now,
• 19:25
Speaker 2: there were some things that weren't real, but the wave
• 19:28
  Speaker 2: was real.
• 19:28
Speaker 4: The wave was real, was real, the feelings we felt
• 19:32
  Speaker 4: were real.
• 19:33
Speaker 1: Yeah, Manta for that, Yeah, man.
• 19:37
Speaker 4: But that's how that's what we come down to for
• 19:39
Speaker 4: Jacober because even statistically, that's the guy you compare him
• 19:42
Speaker 4: to for like this Heisman run, he averages more tackles
• 19:46
Speaker 4: per game, he has more takeaways. Right now, he has
• 19:48
Speaker 4: ten three picks and seven forced fumbles. If he continues
• 19:52
Speaker 4: to have those splash plays, maybe our boys getting the
• 19:54
Speaker 4: breaking news as this wave the amount of time, But
• 19:57
Speaker 4: there's only a couple more weeks, that's all take. I mean,
• 20:00
Speaker 4: you see the push right now with Emma Johnson accolade.
• 20:04
Speaker 2: You guys obviously see it with me.
• 20:06
Speaker 4: But I'm saying, like, when you have a player like that,
• 20:08
Speaker 4: who is ranking that well statistically across the country in
• 20:11
Speaker 4: every category, especially, who hasn't had a player like that
• 20:14
Speaker 4: right right. The school, like everybody around is going to
• 20:17
Speaker 4: rally around to like put these names in front of you,
• 20:20
Speaker 4: not because it's fake, because it's real, but to start
• 20:22
Speaker 4: getting you thinking because all we talk about are quarterbacks
• 20:25
Speaker 4: at every school for heisman for anything, and we can
• 20:28
Speaker 4: have a first all American, our first all Americans since
• 20:32
  Speaker 4: like Leavonte David.
• 20:34
Speaker 1: That is crazy. It's been that long.
• 20:35
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 20:36
Speaker 4: And even though it's it's the aim as heisman, it's like,
• 20:39
Speaker 4: you know, what's the saying shoot for the shoot for
• 20:41
Speaker 4: the star or something like that, it's one of them.
• 20:46
Speaker 2: It's like that you shoot, you shoot for heisman.
• 20:48
Speaker 4: You're you're laying in all these other conversations with some
• 20:51
Speaker 4: legitimate you talk about Jeremi Love, Emma Johnson's got them
• 20:54
Speaker 4: beat in a lot of categories, and when you talk
• 20:56
Speaker 4: about it's Jeremi Love and and Emma Johnson for uh
• 20:59
Speaker 4: percentage of total yards to day accumulate four for their offense,
• 21:03
  Speaker 4: and Johnson's.
• 21:04
Speaker 2: Number one right now, Jordan Love is a monster. Though.
• 21:07
Speaker 2: Can I say as we as we start to dive in,
• 21:08
Speaker 2: I assume we're going to dive into the game, we're
• 21:10
Speaker 2: going to can I say one thing about Nebraska.
• 21:13
Speaker 1: I thought, you're not going to dive into the games.
• 21:16
Speaker 4: We're on a bye week. I was gonna it was
• 21:18
Speaker 4: going to cool off. You were going to But you
• 21:20
Speaker 4: did bring up em Johnson.
• 21:21
Speaker 1: I did, and then you bought it.
• 21:23
Speaker 2: Right now, I'll get them to come.
• 21:26
Speaker 1: Don't don't worry about that. Don't worry about that.
• 21:29
Speaker 2: Oh, I will push this. I thought you guys did
• 21:32
Speaker 2: a great job with the sit down with k on
• 21:34
Speaker 2: the bus earlier this week. I did watch it. I
• 21:37
Speaker 2: listened to it. I thought it was going to completely
• 21:40
Speaker 2: come off the rails. When she asked how is Nebraska
• 21:45
Speaker 2: doing this year? I thought it was done that. You're
• 21:47
Speaker 2: not going to get to the Giants or Dable, You're
• 21:49
Speaker 2: not going to get the NFL network and her upbringing.
• 21:51
Speaker 2: When she asked how is Nebraska doing this year? I
• 21:55
Speaker 2: thought it was over. I was in the gym listening
• 21:58
Speaker 2: to it, and people around me heard. I just said,
• 22:01
Speaker 2: oh no, oh no.
• 22:04
Speaker 1: Yeah, Nebraska. You talk about government shutdown, if philibuster going on,
• 22:08
Speaker 1: you want to keep that thing continuing, Just walk We'll
• 22:10
Speaker 1: compedon into that room and say Nebraska. You want to
• 22:13
Speaker 1: know about Nebraska, let me tell you. We might be
• 22:15
Speaker 1: on a bye week this week, and then seventy two
• 22:17
Speaker 1: hours later they're like, I don't think he's breathed yet. Well,
• 22:20
  Speaker 1: I think he's in healed.
• 22:21
Speaker 2: I bought us Chuck Schumer, that's John Thun. Hey, how's
• 22:24
Speaker 2: Nebraska doing. Gonna put your own speaker here? How's Nebraska's
• 22:28
Speaker 2: speaker here? Great win against UCLA, great win, great win
• 22:33
Speaker 2: against UCLA. T J Latif. We tried telling everybody coming home,
• 22:36
  Speaker 2: coming home, it's.
• 22:37
Speaker 1: Even crazy when there's a quarterback controversy in Nebraska, that's crazy.
• 22:41
Speaker 2: There's no way we were telling about that Saturday.
• 22:43
Speaker 5: There's no way, no way unless unless this keeps going,
• 22:48
Speaker 5: it is Delan Rail's football team as of right now, right,
• 22:53
Speaker 5: I'll let you say that.
• 22:56
Speaker 1: You absolutely should not be the person at all the
• 22:58
Speaker 1: sail he has to come down to the absolute wire
• 23:00
Speaker 1: where you know, people of college. But hey, it's gonna
• 23:02
Speaker 1: be PG Latif and that's when you yeah, if I
• 23:04
Speaker 1: know it's a real thing, that's when, right. But if
• 23:06
Speaker 1: that's what I would talk about that continues right now,
• 23:08
Speaker 1: it's not even it's not even close to a right thing.
• 23:10
Speaker 4: Not even close. Is Dylan Reel was football. You'll enjoy
• 23:14
Speaker 4: yourself we gotta keep him with Johnson and Nebraska is
• 23:16
Speaker 4: what we gotta do. It might be going the league. Yeah, yeah,
• 23:19
  Speaker 4: which you know.
• 23:20
Speaker 1: Yeah, this is the reason why you guys watch these ads.
• 23:23
Speaker 1: Be the Superior's worth playing for Michelo Ultra Superior bragging rights.
• 23:27
Speaker 1: Right now, I am up seven to six on will
• 23:31
Speaker 1: Compton Massive come from behind. As we're now sitting in
• 23:34
Speaker 1: the middle of November. Will are you ready, Let's do it,
• 23:41
Speaker 1: rock paper shoot, And now I am eight and six
• 23:45
Speaker 1: against will Compton. Superior is worse.
• 23:49
Speaker 2: I did think we were tied.
• 23:52
  Speaker 1: On No, I'm I are injured player. That's that's what
• 23:56
Speaker 1: happens when you play injured. By the way, Jack has
• 23:58
Speaker 1: crutches on right now during this commercial breakdown, that's bad.
• 24:00
Speaker 1: I'm just letting you know that's a bad omen. Yeah,
• 24:04
Speaker 1: all right, let's get back to this episode.
• 24:06
Speaker 4: Subscribe please, I want what's best for the kids.
• 24:09
Speaker 2: But also a number thirteen.
• 24:11
Speaker 1: Utah. They're at Baylor this weekend. Utah's favored minus eight
• 24:16
Speaker 1: and a half total points. That game is sixty and
• 24:18
Speaker 1: a half. I'll be quick Utah onward.
• 24:23
Speaker 4: Yeah, Utah, Baylor. I do have another question for you,
• 24:25
Speaker 4: Josh Yep you threw grenade last week with the head
• 24:29
Speaker 4: coaching jobs. Sure you hearing anything with USC and Lincoln Riley?
• 24:35
Speaker 2: Absolutely? I am hit me with the follow up, what
• 24:38
Speaker 2: are you hearing? I cannot tell you because in no
• 24:41
Speaker 2: world do I want to put myself through what I
• 24:43
Speaker 2: went through last week. But I will look at you.
• 24:45
Speaker 2: I will say, yes, I'm hearing stuff and that's what
• 24:52
  Speaker 2: I'm hearing. That's what I'm hearing. But I would never
• 24:55
Speaker 2: say that on air.
• 24:56
Speaker 1: He mouth that to me, let's play telephone.
• 25:01
  Speaker 2: O.
• 25:01
  Speaker 1: I know it's gonna be a full sentence and I
• 25:03
Speaker 1: just got caught up in his teeth for a minute.
• 25:04
  Speaker 2: I didn't see.
• 25:07
Speaker 1: That's something that can definitely wait till the end of
• 25:09
Speaker 1: the show to ask. You're injured right now? There's a
• 25:11
Speaker 1: lot of stuff happening. I injured right now, is what
• 25:14
  Speaker 1: I'm doing?
• 25:16
Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, another question Arkansas, Arkansas.
• 25:21
Speaker 2: I think they got to wait for Auburn to make
• 25:22
Speaker 2: their move. Maybe gotta wait for LSU to make their move.
• 25:26
Speaker 4: I don't know when there was a gentleman I was saying,
• 25:28
Speaker 4: they're pretty I don't know what I was seeing it on,
• 25:31
Speaker 4: but there was somebody talking like they had their guy
• 25:32
Speaker 4: they just out of respect.
• 25:34
Speaker 2: Okay, whoever that guy is respectfully to him, I'm not
• 25:39
Speaker 2: sure they're one hundred percent in control of that. What
• 25:41
Speaker 2: I mean is the guy they end up landing may
• 25:44
Speaker 2: also be in the running for other jobs. And so
• 25:47
Speaker 2: the planes are all sitting on the tarmac and they're
• 25:49
Speaker 2: ready to find out in which order they're gonna take off,
• 25:51
Speaker 2: and one may cut the other one. So like Alex
• 25:53
Speaker 2: Golish could be in the running for that job. Well,
• 25:56
Speaker 2: if Alex Golish were to get an offer from Auburn,
• 25:58
Speaker 2: I think he'd probably take it over Arkansas. So if
• 25:59
Speaker 2: you're Arkansas and you want Alex Golish, great, I think
• 26:02
Speaker 2: he'll do. I think he'll do great anywhere he goes.
• 26:05
Speaker 2: Kind of got to wait and hope Auburn hires John
• 26:07
Speaker 2: Summral or hires DJ Dirkin or something like that. That's
• 26:10
Speaker 2: what I mean by that. Now, luckily Auburn's got their
• 26:12
Speaker 2: ducks in a row, and so I think their search
• 26:14
Speaker 2: is going to move pretty fast. But I think I
• 26:17
Speaker 2: think Arkansas does not totally hold their hiring fate in
• 26:20
Speaker 2: their own hands, if that makes sense.
• 26:22
Speaker 1: Yeah, they have to wait. They know what it's in
• 26:24
Speaker 1: the Tonal Polly And I'll tell you this about Utah,
• 26:26
Speaker 1: man is the reason why I picked Utah is they're
• 26:28
Speaker 1: kind of on the outside looking in, like Texas Tech, Baylor,
• 26:31
Speaker 1: Cincinnati are right there and there's those teams have to
• 26:34
Speaker 1: play each other and probably out of the the Coffas Championship.
• 26:37
Speaker 1: They're kind of sitting in that two loss and I think,
• 26:39
Speaker 1: slowly but sure, they're going to ink themselves in to
• 26:41
Speaker 1: one of those last spots in the playoffs. And they
• 26:43
Speaker 1: understand that going to Baylor, and I think they take
• 26:46
Speaker 1: advantage of that, and I think they measure that in
• 26:48
Speaker 1: a big way because for them to sit in a
• 26:50
Speaker 1: position for them to bump themselves into that twelve eleven
• 26:53
Speaker 1: ten category in the playoff, they've got to win. They've
• 26:55
Speaker 1: also got to cover. If you look at me and say, hey,
• 26:58
Speaker 1: the committee doesn't look at them as they did, they did?
• 27:01
  Speaker 2: They not?
• 27:02
  Speaker 1: It's crazy.
• 27:02
Speaker 2: Look at what they did in Miami, right, they bummed up.
• 27:06
Speaker 2: They're bumped up for what they just corrected them. They
• 27:09
Speaker 2: heard the criticism and they corrected them. And speaking of Miami,
• 27:12
Speaker 2: I like Utah this week too. Yeah, I'm gonna tell you,
• 27:14
Speaker 2: why tell me? I think in November. If you struggle
• 27:17
Speaker 2: to stop the run kind of in October, you really
• 27:21
Speaker 2: let the floodgates open in November. Now full disclosure of
• 27:23
Speaker 2: the model likes Baylor this week. But the model doesn't know.
• 27:26
  Speaker 2: It's just a computer. It's stupid. It doesn't know what
• 27:28
  Speaker 2: I'm saying.
• 27:28
Speaker 1: It knows what you tell to know.
• 27:29
Speaker 2: Yeah, it doesn't like tapping out is not a data
• 27:33
Speaker 2: point for the model. But I think Baylor's run defense
• 27:36
Speaker 2: may do that this week, and if they do, there's
• 27:38
Speaker 2: no limit to the amount of assault that you talk
• 27:40
Speaker 2: and lay on them. So eight and a half I
• 27:41
Speaker 2: think is a trap number because it wants the computer
• 27:44
Speaker 2: model crowd to take Baylor and the points, but I
• 27:47
Speaker 2: am not doing that.
• 27:48
Speaker 1: Yeah, it wants the nerds, yeah, to take Baylor.
• 27:50
Speaker 2: But actually, what you need to do in this game,
• 27:52
Speaker 2: you need to go like that. You need to pull
• 27:53
  Speaker 2: the glasses.
• 27:53
Speaker 1: Down, yeah, and just see the world for what it
• 27:55
Speaker 1: is or how your body wants to see it, which
• 27:57
Speaker 1: is a little more fuzzy. A little more fuzzy is
• 27:58
Speaker 1: clearly Utah minus eight and a half.
• 28:00
Speaker 2: Well, yeah, what about James Franklin. I think James needed
• 28:06
Speaker 2: to make a move on Virginia Tech if he was
• 28:08
Speaker 2: gonna make him move. I think Virginia Tech's just sitting
• 28:10
Speaker 2: there saying, James, we want you, and James Franklin's kind
• 28:13
Speaker 2: of saying I could see it, and then they say, not, James,
• 28:16
Speaker 2: we really want you. Here's the piece of paper, and
• 28:18
Speaker 2: he's saying, I'll think about it, and then Virginia Tech says, hey,
• 28:22
Speaker 2: we kind of got to make a move here.
• 28:23
Speaker 4: We'd love to have you, and James is like, give
• 28:26
Speaker 4: me the details again.
• 28:28
Speaker 2: And Virginia Tech may just be like, yeah, never mind. Yeah.
• 28:30
Speaker 1: And on the note of James Franklin, I love how
• 28:33
Speaker 1: like the quarterbacks I'm playing for Utah. I love how
• 28:36
Speaker 1: their defense has been playing. I just think that sitting
• 28:39
Speaker 1: in that position, it's not like Pitt's head coach, like
• 28:42
Speaker 1: every game is worth fighting for them.
• 28:44
  Speaker 2: Oh, it's a must win, it's.
• 28:45
Speaker 1: A must win. Everything's a must win at this point
• 28:47
Speaker 1: in the year for a school that takes himself seriously.
• 28:50
Speaker 2: Well, are you hearing anything about Eli Drinkwitz and the
• 28:54
Speaker 2: Penn State. Yeah, I'm not sure that he meshes with them.
• 29:00
Speaker 2: I sure that Eli Drinkwitz the persona meshes with Penn State.
• 29:06
Speaker 2: The program so I'd be very surprised if Eli Drinkwoit's
• 29:10
Speaker 2: got that job. What I wouldn't be surprised by is
• 29:15
Speaker 2: Utah kind of wins emphatically this week and knocks Baylor
• 29:18
Speaker 2: from the equation entirely. And then afterwards people are running
• 29:21
Speaker 2: the tiebreaker scenario math in their head and they're like, wait,
• 29:25
Speaker 2: we know Utah could get an at large, but what
• 29:28
Speaker 2: if just humor me here, what if Cincinnati beats Brigham
• 29:33
Speaker 2: Young hands them their second loss, and then you realize, Oh,
• 29:37
Speaker 2: Utah's got the head to head win over Cincinnati. Oh wait,
• 29:40
Speaker 2: could they make it the Dallas Oh wait? Could it
• 29:42
Speaker 2: be Utah versus Texas Tech? Where the model would be
• 29:47
Speaker 2: really put on the stand because the model is the
• 29:49
Speaker 2: only computer model out there that has Utah power rated
• 29:52
Speaker 2: above Texas Tech. Texas Tech will be favored at FanDuel
• 29:55
Speaker 2: I fully acknowledge that the model would pick Utah, and
• 29:58
Speaker 2: I'd have to sit here, mister two and three, mister
• 30:01
Speaker 2: twenty three here, and I would have to pick Utah.
• 30:05
Speaker 1: You would be so hypothetically speaking, all those dominants fall.
• 30:09
Speaker 1: We're sitting here on a championship weekend, and you're gonna
• 30:11
Speaker 1: take Utah over Texas Tech.
• 30:12
Speaker 2: Either that or I'm gonna buck the model which has
• 30:15
Speaker 2: return to me two and three results all year. So
• 30:17
Speaker 2: maybe I will. Yeah, maybe I won't. Kind of like
• 30:19
Speaker 2: James Franklin right now, will he won't?
• 30:21
  Speaker 4: He?
• 30:22
Speaker 2: I don't know. Humor me about.
• 30:26
Speaker 4: Lane Kiffin and Jackson Dart with the New York Giants.
• 30:31
Speaker 2: Well, you know what I have to say to that
• 30:34
Speaker 2: is he's now coaching for the Giants. What conference are
• 30:38
Speaker 2: the New York Giants in? And don't don't give me
• 30:41
Speaker 2: the NFC East. Do you know what I'm asking you.
• 30:43
Speaker 2: I stop at midnight on Saturday, unless Hawaii's playing the
• 30:47
Speaker 2: football for that week. Is done for me. Saturday at midnight,
• 30:51
Speaker 2: and I just start watching replays. So y'all are sitting
• 30:54
Speaker 2: over here on Sundays and you're watching God knows what
• 30:57
Speaker 2: happens on Sundays in the NFL. But I don't know. Giants'
• 31:00
Speaker 2: job is not even open to me. It doesn't exist.
• 31:03
Speaker 2: If Lane Kiffin goes to the NFL, it's a great person,
• 31:06
Speaker 2: but he's dead to me. He doesn't exist as far
• 31:09
Speaker 2: as I'm concerned. Never heard of her. I don't know. Yeah,
• 31:11
Speaker 2: everybody's talking about New York Giants the head job. Not
• 31:13
Speaker 2: enough people talk about Kent State another big win last night.
• 31:19
Speaker 1: Yeah, the next game? What are you taking?
• 31:22
Speaker 4: Just real quick, so everybody does, Oh, Utah Baylor, I'm
• 31:26
  Speaker 4: taking the over.
• 31:27
Speaker 2: I'm taking the over. Here over said sixteen and a
• 31:29
  Speaker 2: half points.
• 31:30
Speaker 4: Both these teams, I want to say, Baylor averages like
• 31:32
Speaker 4: thirty three, Utah averages thirty six. They both average like
• 31:35
Speaker 4: north of four hundred and fifty yards Sawyer Roberto, He's
• 31:38
Speaker 4: got about three thousand yards twenty seven touchdowns. Defense sucks.
• 31:41
Speaker 4: I'm sure I know Utah's defense is good. But again,
• 31:43
Speaker 4: you're down in Baylor. ESPN two. Don't worry about watching
• 31:47
Speaker 4: the game. This is over sixteen and a half. I
• 31:49
Speaker 4: love points in this game, all right?
• 31:51
  Speaker 2: I like that.
• 31:52
Speaker 1: How does the model feel about that? Does the model
• 31:53
Speaker 1: even deal with totals?
• 31:55
Speaker 2: Hey we hit that Orgon iowall last week. We were
• 31:57
Speaker 2: proud of that. Yeah, Orgon, I will under forty two
• 32:00
Speaker 2: and a half. Someone actually bet the over at the
• 32:02
Speaker 2: last minute. Gave me an extra point of value, Like
• 32:05
Speaker 2: to Iowa, it's thirty seven degrees. It's poor and rain
• 32:07
Speaker 2: Dan Landings were in a cotton hoodie there's no way
• 32:09
Speaker 2: this game's going over, and it didn't and didn't. No
• 32:11
Speaker 2: opinion on this one though.
• 32:12
Speaker 1: Well. On the subject of Iowa, Iowa is traveling to
• 32:15
Speaker 1: Los Angeles this weekend, number twenty one IOUR versus number
• 32:17
Speaker 1: seventeen USC Iowa dogs. USC favored minus six and a half.
• 32:22
Speaker 1: Total points in that game is forty nine and a half.
• 32:26
Speaker 2: Will USC's gonna hang forty on them?
• 32:28
  Speaker 1: Okay, that's a little crazy.
• 32:31
Speaker 2: USC's gonna hang forty on these mois.
• 32:32
Speaker 4: I did my best to root for Iowa these past,
• 32:35
Speaker 4: like well, not last week, the past, the weeks prior
• 32:38
Speaker 4: to that, getting them in the top twenty five, trying
• 32:40
Speaker 4: to get them ranked, but they just remind you that
• 32:42
Speaker 4: they're just going to be this four or five loss,
• 32:46
Speaker 4: sometimes three lost football team at all times.
• 32:48
  Speaker 2: It's automatic.
• 32:49
Speaker 1: Still ranked though, consists, still ranked. Yes, they're consistent, but
• 32:52
Speaker 1: there's no three Iowa losing.
• 32:54
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 32:55
Speaker 4: As an Iowa fan, there's no hope, Like there's no
• 32:57
  Speaker 4: we're building, there's no we're growing. There's no you know,
• 33:01
Speaker 4: expectations or excitement to come to come around. Like Kirk France,
• 33:05
Speaker 4: he's gonna be there until he dies. They're gonna continue
• 33:07
Speaker 4: to be there's this above average football team and they're
• 33:10
Speaker 4: gonna go out to USC this weekend, out on out
• 33:12
Speaker 4: in La. I know there's gonna be a little bit
• 33:14
Speaker 4: of rain, but there's not gonna be a whole lot
• 33:16
Speaker 4: of wins. Maybe ten miles an hour GUS and USC
• 33:19
Speaker 4: is in absolute playoff mode. Their big one is gonna
• 33:22
Speaker 4: be Oregon, but again after coming coming off the performance
• 33:25
Speaker 4: they had against Northwestern, the reminder of Nebraska a couple
• 33:28
Speaker 4: of weeks ago. Nebraska gonna be the only team that
• 33:30
Speaker 4: holds this team, this offense under thirty points on the season.
• 33:33
Speaker 2: This is gonna be USC?
• 33:35
Speaker 4: Is it ja Jayden Mayava?
• 33:37
Speaker 1: Jordan my Alatta Jaden?
• 33:39
Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, Jordan my Alatta, Jordan may Alatta.
• 33:43
  Speaker 1: I think it's Australia?
• 33:44
Speaker 2: Is it Jaydon Mayava?
• 33:46
Speaker 4: But this week could be Jordan by a lotta, could
• 33:51
Speaker 4: be Jordan Jayden buy a lotta for forty plus? Yeah,
• 33:56
Speaker 4: and after he does, he's gonna a little much. But
• 33:59
Speaker 4: that what's going to happen.
• 34:00
Speaker 1: Yeah, Iowa has a way, especially the weather's falling them
• 34:04
Speaker 1: like a cloud. Like Iowa travels to La and all
• 34:06
Speaker 1: of a sudden, it's sunny. But now it's going to
• 34:07
  Speaker 1: be a raise.
• 34:08
Speaker 2: Like pickin the cloud just follows him wherever he goes.
• 34:11
Speaker 1: Exactly. You says something on your show. Obviously, your breakdowns
• 34:14
Speaker 1: of college football are incredible. And you, being a weather guy,
• 34:16
Speaker 1: you said, monsoon season in California crazy. All of a sudden,
• 34:20
Speaker 1: this week, monsoon season in California, USC is covering the
• 34:24
Speaker 1: You got something, USC's covering this game. Monsoon season is
• 34:28
Speaker 1: like June till October, and it really just affects the
• 34:32
Speaker 1: southwest region of the country, which is Arizona and New Mexico.
• 34:35
Speaker 2: Let me ask you this go ahead. Is it winter
• 34:37
Speaker 2: right now? No? Sure, did get a lot of snow
• 34:40
Speaker 2: in Nashville the other day, a lot of snow. Things
• 34:42
  Speaker 2: are crazy, a.
• 34:42
Speaker 1: Lot of snow or a couple of flakes that melt,
• 34:44
Speaker 1: they touched the ground in Arizona.
• 34:47
Speaker 2: I'm from rural Georgia. There's a lot of snow, and
• 34:49
Speaker 2: I'm from the West. We didn't have a single landfalling
• 34:52
Speaker 2: hurricane in a contiguous United States this year. Weather's been
• 34:54
Speaker 2: crazy this year. You know that I know that he
• 34:57
Speaker 2: knows that I have in my hand, mister, no monsoon season.
• 35:01
Speaker 2: The official Friday and Saturday forecast for the Los Angeles
• 35:05
Speaker 2: Memorial Coliseum Friday, trying to paint the field heavy rain,
• 35:09
Speaker 2: heavy rain, Saturday, heavy rain. The only difference between this
• 35:15
Speaker 2: game and the one Iowa played last week is bumping
• 35:18
Speaker 2: up about twenty degrees upper fifties instead of upper thirties.
• 35:21
Speaker 2: But you're right, the weather's following them around. Now. You
• 35:24
Speaker 2: would think to yourself, history would indicate this favors Iowa
• 35:28
Speaker 2: because I would just crowned and pound USC is all flash,
• 35:31
Speaker 2: no substance. We remember what USC did to Michigan.
• 35:36
Speaker 1: I know you're gonna bring that up.
• 35:38
Speaker 2: Ran it for two twenty four. They did. They ran
• 35:40
Speaker 2: it for two to two against Nebraska. They ran it
• 35:43
Speaker 2: not as great against Notre Dame, but Notre Dame is
• 35:46
Speaker 2: Notre Dame is different caliber team than Iowa is. I
• 35:49
Speaker 2: just think Iowa needs to play the game they played
• 35:52
Speaker 2: last week with two minor corrections. They need to be
• 35:55
Speaker 2: a little bit better on third down they were five
• 35:57
Speaker 2: or thirteen last week, and don't lose the turnover battle
• 36:00
Speaker 2: re minus one last week. If they can do those things, great,
• 36:04
Speaker 2: I think the style of game actually favors USC more
• 36:07
Speaker 2: than America is going to realize, like people are gonna
• 36:09
Speaker 2: see heavy rain. They're gonna say this is tailor made
• 36:11
Speaker 2: for Iowa and Lincoln Riley's gonna look at it, and
• 36:14
Speaker 2: USC is gonna look at it and say, no, actually,
• 36:17
Speaker 2: we're fully comfortable running the ball. Now. We may not
• 36:19
Speaker 2: score forty. Game may not be long enough for us
• 36:21
Speaker 2: to score forty. But I don't even need mayav It
• 36:25
Speaker 2: have a huge day. I need him to have a
• 36:27
Speaker 2: good enough day. Anything above and beyond that's a bonus.
• 36:30
Speaker 2: The model disagrees with me again, real infighting between me
• 36:34
Speaker 2: and the model this week.
• 36:35
Speaker 1: Yeah, it sounds as a hosta Biden.
• 36:37
Speaker 2: I'm taking USC to win and cover.
• 36:39
Speaker 1: I agree with that. Are you familiar with rum Springer?
• 36:42
Speaker 1: Do you know what that is? It's in the Amish community.
• 36:45
Speaker 1: These people they live the Amish life right, no technology,
• 36:47
Speaker 1: no Internet, and none of that stuff. By the age
• 36:49
Speaker 1: about like sixteen years old, the Amish youth is allowed
• 36:53
Speaker 1: to go out into the world and live the way
• 36:55
Speaker 1: for what most normal people live their life. They can
• 36:58
Speaker 1: use phones, they can drink, they can try different things,
• 37:00
Speaker 1: they can go watch a movie, they can utilize the
• 37:03
Speaker 1: advances in technology that we've all come to know and love.
• 37:05
Speaker 1: But the almost does not. Then they have to make
• 37:08
Speaker 1: a decision within like three months to like two years
• 37:10
Speaker 1: of what they're gonna do. But when they go through
• 37:11
Speaker 1: room storing, it's like a kid going to college for
• 37:14
Speaker 1: the first time freaking out. That's what this is for Iowa.
• 37:17
Speaker 1: I looked at the roster. There are less than five
• 37:19
Speaker 1: people from the West. It's full of people from Missouri,
• 37:22
Speaker 1: people from Illinois, people from Iowa, Nebraska, Grand Rapids, Michigan,
• 37:27
Speaker 1: South Dakota. These are just corn fed boys who talk
• 37:31
Speaker 1: with a wheat straw in their mouth the whole time.
• 37:32
Speaker 1: And they're going to fly to the West coast. Those
• 37:34
Speaker 1: lights are going to be exciting. It's me the first
• 37:36
Speaker 1: time in their life other than a movie or a
• 37:38
Speaker 1: TV show that they've seen this. They're going to be distracted, discombobulated,
• 37:43
Speaker 1: weather or no weather. Iowa is going to get their
• 37:46
Speaker 1: ass speed against USC this weekend. Us See is a
• 37:49
Speaker 1: much different football team at home than they are away,
• 37:52
Speaker 1: much different football team. And I had to when it's
• 37:54
Speaker 1: that firsthand you, I mean I, you and I were texting.
• 37:58
Speaker 1: I was, you know, I what to call the hotline
• 38:00
Speaker 1: during that game because they were doing things to Michigan
• 38:02
Speaker 1: that Michigan does to people, and I see that absolutely
• 38:05
Speaker 1: happening against Iowa. I don't see them putting forty up
• 38:07
Speaker 1: on them like an ass beating for Iowa twenty seven
• 38:11
  Speaker 1: to nine.
• 38:12
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, if they'll hit thirty, they'll hit thirty. Thirty. Yeah,
• 38:16
  Speaker 2: they'll hit thirty.
• 38:17
Speaker 1: But yeah, rum Springer, they'll put that up.
• 38:20
Speaker 4: And uh was it Jade and buy a lotta Jane
• 38:23
Speaker 4: Biolatto throw Benjamin on him after the game's over and
• 38:25
Speaker 4: tell them they go buy a Casey's pizza to take
• 38:27
Speaker 4: a guess, or they get back to Iowa because that's
• 38:29
Speaker 4: all I was got Casey's and it is good.
• 38:35
Speaker 1: Almost went to Iowa, Will Crompton.
• 38:37
  Speaker 2: There's a lot of we in the breakdown. There's a
• 38:39
Speaker 2: lot of we. We are nothing more than average. We
• 38:43
Speaker 2: do this to ourselves every year. Yeah. I didn't push
• 38:47
  Speaker 2: back because I don't disagreee.
• 38:50
Speaker 1: That Iowa makes teams be like play like their style
• 38:53
  Speaker 1: football though.
• 38:53
Speaker 2: Yeah, but then they made it last week and the
• 38:56
Speaker 2: organ still beat them.
• 38:57
Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, But I feel like with Iowa, it's
• 38:58
Speaker 1: not about wins and losses. Can we just allow our
• 39:01
Speaker 1: identity to bleed into this game and ruin for all
• 39:03
Speaker 1: the viewers like, that's what they want. How do we
• 39:06
Speaker 1: get the least amount of years?
• 39:07
Speaker 2: If we can make people miserable at hope, we will
• 39:08
Speaker 2: have done our job.
• 39:09
Speaker 1: Like I think, I think Iowa they put up graphics
• 39:11
Speaker 1: in their team and bell like you see, like Texas
• 39:13
Speaker 1: and Ohio State they got seventeen million people watching this.
• 39:15
  Speaker 2: Don't like it?
• 39:16
Speaker 1: We got less than a million boys all right, and
• 39:18
Speaker 1: it went down the farther you've got into the game
• 39:20
Speaker 1: that they take pride in that, like, how can we
• 39:23
Speaker 1: have this the lowest scoring game possible? How do we
• 39:24
Speaker 1: compare this to soccer? As much as that's Iowa?
• 39:27
Speaker 4: And who's gonna cover lemon? Like Iowa doesn't have a
• 39:29
Speaker 4: white cornerback out there this year?
• 39:31
Speaker 1: That is true, but also heavy rain monsoon that doesn't
• 39:34
  Speaker 1: exist in California.
• 39:36
Speaker 4: We interrupt this episode to bring you form Energy. Form
• 39:39
Speaker 4: Energy delivers best in class taste with natural flavors and
• 39:41

Speaker 4: gets a workout in, puts in a full day's worth
• 39:57
Speaker 4: of work, it still gives it theirrow when they come home.
• 39:59
Speaker 4: You are form energy, Form energy, guy, form energy.
• 40:02
Speaker 2: We do the work.
• 40:04
Speaker 4: Notre Dame of pitt Right now, Notre Dame is favored
• 40:06
Speaker 4: by eleven and a half. The over under on this
• 40:08
Speaker 4: game is fifty five and a half. You guys sell
• 40:12
Speaker 4: a Pitts head coach.
• 40:13
Speaker 1: This is disgusting to me. I saw that clip. Stop studying. Obviously,
• 40:17
  Speaker 1: Jeremiah loves a stud C. J. Carrs come along a
• 40:20
Speaker 1: long way. But Paton Nordoosey, that's his name for him
• 40:24
Speaker 1: as citizen. Not a must win game. I'd rather lose
• 40:27
Speaker 1: this game by one one ten to ten, which is,
• 40:31
Speaker 1: by the way, one o three to ten is like
• 40:33
Speaker 1: what they've been outscored in the last three times they played.
• 40:35
  Speaker 2: Wow.
• 40:35
Speaker 1: So he's very aware of that point differential. And I
• 40:39
Speaker 1: just think you say that s it's a horrible message
• 40:41
  Speaker 1: to your team.
• 40:42
Speaker 4: Yeah, because it's like, you know, the boys like players,
• 40:44
Speaker 4: You love to be out there, like you know, it's
• 40:46
Speaker 4: don't give Baltimore material.
• 40:48
Speaker 2: You love to talk shit like you love to do that,
• 40:51
Speaker 2: you just don't do it.
• 40:52
Speaker 1: You know you're the inferior team. However, it's like, what
• 40:54
Speaker 1: kind of culture are you see?
• 40:55
Speaker 4: I'm just saying players are suppressed because as much as
• 40:58
Speaker 4: we would love to go there, chirp a little bit,
• 41:01
Speaker 4: have a little fun, you know, it's not in the
• 41:02
Speaker 4: best interest, like for your football team, because there's more
• 41:04
Speaker 4: people involved. So you just have to sit back and
• 41:06
Speaker 4: almost just hear the clippings that you're your head coach
• 41:09
Speaker 4: might say, but just to hear that if you're one
• 41:11
Speaker 4: of the boys sitting at the lunch table, it's just
• 41:12
Speaker 4: like coach doesn't believe this is a muscling Yeah, you
• 41:16
Speaker 4: know they're saying something different in the room, but still publicly.
• 41:20
  Speaker 2: I don't know. I wasn't a big fan, Like what
• 41:22
Speaker 2: was your takeaway? I just think about being in the
• 41:24
Speaker 2: locker room at the half and it's twenty to seven
• 41:28
Speaker 2: Notre Dame. You look around and you say, what are
• 41:34
Speaker 2: you supposed to tell those guys at halftime? H Coach
• 41:36
Speaker 2: kind of said, this game doesn't that's what it is.
• 41:38
Speaker 2: You know, we tried, right grass staying here and there,
• 41:40
Speaker 2: we tried It's okay, we got ACC play coming up though,
• 41:43
Speaker 2: AC because that's definitely, according to the committee, what's going
• 41:46
Speaker 2: to get you in the playoff. Because the ACC has
• 41:47
Speaker 2: such a sterling reputation right now, it doesn't matter if
• 41:50
Speaker 2: you lose, you're out of conference games now. The committee
• 41:52
Speaker 2: chair is on TV last night saying, yeah, this conference
• 41:54
Speaker 2: kind of has no out of conference games to hang
• 41:56
Speaker 2: its hat on other than Miami. Notre Dame. Ignore all
• 41:59
Speaker 2: that lose. It was by one hundred. If you want to,
• 42:01
Speaker 2: it's okay. As long as we get a good, solid
• 42:03
Speaker 2: winn against Georgia Tech. That's enough win in our sales.
• 42:06
Speaker 2: It's not. It's not Notre Dame is gonna win this
• 42:09
Speaker 2: game in cover. Now. I will say this, I don't
• 42:12
Speaker 2: think people know Pitt. I don't think people have really
• 42:14
Speaker 2: watched Pit. I think people think classic Pit game grounded
• 42:18
Speaker 2: like Iowa ground and pound ball control condensed the game.
• 42:22
Speaker 2: That's not them. Heinschel is the quarterback that came in
• 42:26
Speaker 2: for Eli Holsten. He's a true freshman. He's thrown for
• 42:28
Speaker 2: three hundred and four of his last five games. Notre
• 42:31
Speaker 2: Dame is fifteenth against the run, eighty ninth against the pass.
• 42:34
Speaker 2: So like theoretically, if you're gonna get Notre Dame, that's
• 42:36
Speaker 2: how you get them. You get them through the air.
• 42:38
Speaker 2: Notre Dame fans would vehemently argue, Yeah, but our defense
• 42:42
Speaker 2: is on now. We found ourselves, we found our stride,
• 42:44
Speaker 2: we're on now, and there's probably a germ of truth
• 42:47
Speaker 2: to that. I just think like there's some point where
• 42:50
Speaker 2: you kind of wad up the paper, like Pitt's got
• 42:53
Speaker 2: the number three run defense in the country. Do I
• 42:54
Speaker 2: really think they're gonna shut down Notre Dame on the ground?
• 42:56
Speaker 2: I don't, nor do they have to. According to patten Ardoozy,
• 43:00
Speaker 2: you like to, but you don't have to. It's what
• 43:02
Speaker 2: it is. I just think it's one of those reminder
• 43:05
Speaker 2: we're Notre Dame your pit, Like one of those kinds
• 43:07
Speaker 2: of games, and it's not a comfortable blowout win, but
• 43:12
Speaker 2: it's a nice solid win for Notre Dame. They cover
• 43:14
Speaker 2: in the end and you move on and you know
• 43:17
Speaker 2: they stay on track to either be the nine seed
• 43:19
Speaker 2: or the eight seed. Like the biggest question with Notre
• 43:22
Speaker 2: Dame down the stretch is do they get a home
• 43:24
Speaker 2: playoff game or do they have to go on the
• 43:26
Speaker 2: road for a playoff game, which is going to be
• 43:28
Speaker 2: a huge difference, by the way, because if you noticed,
• 43:31
Speaker 2: I think on the Playoff Committee reveal show last night,
• 43:33
Speaker 2: they did the hypothetical bracket and it was like Notre
• 43:36
Speaker 2: Dame at Oregon. So imagine the difference in them having
• 43:39
Speaker 2: to go to Eugene versus them hosting someone in South
• 43:42
Speaker 2: Bend like they did last year. So that's not a
• 43:44
Speaker 2: small deal. But I do think they're gonna like this
• 43:47
Speaker 2: is not where they get derailed. There's no way, well
• 43:49
Speaker 2: there's a little way they get derailed.
• 43:51
Speaker 4: Have you checked the against the spread numbers with pits
• 43:55
  Speaker 4: since Noartoozie's been there, I haven't you, I have not.
• 44:00
  Speaker 1: Ouh.
• 44:01
Speaker 2: Can I give you covers for you?
• 44:02
  Speaker 1: This?
• 44:02
Speaker 4: Uh pitt as a home underdog twelve and ten, I
• 44:10
Speaker 4: got the spread twelve and ten against the spread against
• 44:15
Speaker 4: ranked opponents sixteen and sixteen as the home team against
• 44:22
Speaker 4: the spread thirty four and thirty six?
• 44:29
Speaker 1: Delanny Walker? What's Notre Dame minus eleven and a half?
• 44:37
Speaker 1: So you did, Delanney Walker?
• 44:38
Speaker 2: Me, I just read you those numbers. It does not
• 44:42
Speaker 2: blok mind that you did. You did do that, you
• 44:46
Speaker 2: did read those numbers. I have little to no idea
• 44:50
Speaker 2: what they really meant. But you read those numbers. You
• 44:53
  Speaker 2: read them with.
• 44:53
Speaker 1: Eviction home dogs against the spread, oh in fifty seven
• 44:58
Speaker 1: or something like that. You're giving me like more line
• 45:01
Speaker 1: five hundred numbers. You're not three.
• 45:03
Speaker 2: What you're not seeing.
• 45:04
Speaker 4: What you boys are seeing are the numbers within the numbers,
• 45:08
Speaker 4: the game within the game.
• 45:10
  Speaker 2: I knew it.
• 45:12
Speaker 1: He's so right. Yeah, And you know what, regardless of
• 45:15
Speaker 1: whether we saw the number or not, we all landed
• 45:17
Speaker 1: in the same place.
• 45:18
Speaker 4: Somebody out there right now they're going to comment and
• 45:20
Speaker 4: be like, I know what, will.
• 45:20
Speaker 2: You see what's saying? Right?
• 45:21
Speaker 1: I bet they will.
• 45:22
Speaker 2: Yeah, I get where he was going.
• 45:24
Speaker 1: I see, I see, Yeah, he sees the field. Well, yeah,
• 45:28
Speaker 1: he's absolutely coming out of numbers. Literally looked like you
• 45:34
Speaker 1: twenty five and thirty two. That's like that is pit
• 45:36
Speaker 1: dog at home. Your staff like this year is a
• 45:41
Speaker 1: statium is pit So yeah, you're seeing it. You are
• 45:44
Speaker 1: pitt don't you worry.
• 45:46
Speaker 2: We'll see what we'll see. Who's laughing next week on here?
• 45:48
Speaker 1: We literally all have the same picks right now. Yeah,
• 45:50
Speaker 1: so literally we're all laughing or crying together. There's no difference.
• 45:53
Speaker 1: I took over Baylor Utah. I think it's a good pick.
• 45:57
Speaker 4: But you watch Baylor Cove just like a late just
• 46:01
Speaker 4: like a late cover.
• 46:02
Speaker 2: Yeah, that'd be g I'm kinda sick you guys.
• 46:05
Speaker 1: Guys kind of talk to me into Oregon, Iowa last
• 46:07
Speaker 1: week because I was very iffy on the fence about
• 46:09
Speaker 1: that game. Obviously I made my own decisions, but I
• 46:13
Speaker 1: was sitting there at.
• 46:14
Speaker 2: We had it right up there for you.
• 46:16
Speaker 1: I know your heart, but I was surely sitting in
• 46:19
Speaker 1: at the fifty to fifty. I'm straddling the fence. Maybe
• 46:22
Speaker 1: my nuts are split in half. It's being like which
• 46:24
Speaker 1: way of this fence do I want to go? And
• 46:26
Speaker 1: obviously you got a boy with words. You start talking
• 46:28
Speaker 1: with the duck reproductive system or how they even have
• 46:31
Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, that's like not only like true, but
• 46:34
Speaker 1: it's also like a tip of the cap to oj Busten.
• 46:38
Speaker 1: What other way could I have gone?
• 46:39
Speaker 2: Yeah? You know you'd rather lose the way you did? Yes?
• 46:43
  Speaker 1: Yes, yes, yeah?
• 46:45
Speaker 2: Oklahoma and Alabama. Uh.
• 46:48
Speaker 4: The spread on this game Alabama favored by five and
• 46:50
Speaker 4: a half at home. The over under on this game
• 46:52
Speaker 4: forty six and a half. Gentlemen, Yeah, who'd like to
• 46:58
Speaker 4: kick this thing off.
• 47:00
  Speaker 2: Very confident here.
• 47:01
Speaker 1: I know I watched your prediction thing. I had my
• 47:03
Speaker 1: decision before your show last night, and we aligned in
• 47:06
Speaker 1: the same place. I think this game if it if
• 47:11
Speaker 1: it's gonna go Oklahoma's way. John Mattier has to have
• 47:13
Speaker 1: an odd of body experience and he's got to play
• 47:15
Speaker 1: much better. He has to play essentially I did in
• 47:17
Speaker 1: the first four weeks of the season.
• 47:18
Speaker 2: At his thumb has been your foot lately.
• 47:20
Speaker 1: Yes, right. He just wants to know what it's like
• 47:23
Speaker 1: to throw a tight spiral again, just like I want
• 47:24
Speaker 1: to know what it's like to walk pain free, and
• 47:27
Speaker 1: unfortunately that's not happening this week. Like Alabama, they're pretty
• 47:33
Speaker 1: unbelievable and they're great. They're great against the pass. There
• 47:36
Speaker 1: was you had the stat again of the run versus
• 47:38
Speaker 1: the run defense. It doesn't it doesn't really matter because
• 47:41
Speaker 1: of how Alabama's offense rolls. At the end of the day,
• 47:44
Speaker 1: it's this is kailing to board. This is the black sweatshirt,
• 47:46
Speaker 1: this is this is covering is Alabama covering them taking
• 47:49
Speaker 1: that next step? Like teams like this who have been
• 47:52
Speaker 1: in this position, regardless of who's at the helmet, the
• 47:54
Speaker 1: head coach, like they understand what that stake here, and
• 47:56
Speaker 1: for that reason, I got Alabama.
• 48:00
Speaker 4: I don't know if I like hearing him say that
• 48:01
  Speaker 4: Alabama's unbelievable.
• 48:03
Speaker 2: They're just pretty good, aren't they. I mean, look at.
• 48:06
Speaker 4: South Carolina, like, yeah, they won what twenty to nine?
• 48:09
Speaker 4: Like or got the They covered at the very end
• 48:12
Speaker 4: against LSU, But they didn't look like they should have
• 48:15
Speaker 4: looked the last couple of weeks with South Carolina and LSU, Like,
• 48:18
Speaker 4: to me, it's like they're not playing unbelievable right now.
• 48:21
Speaker 4: To me, this is a the better. They better wake
• 48:23
Speaker 4: their ass up because they're getting it gear. It's like
• 48:25
Speaker 4: when you look at their schedule, they beat Georgia, look
• 48:28
Speaker 4: at this run right now, Georgia Vandy Maszoo Tennessee. Then
• 48:31
Speaker 4: they've kind of had some moments against South Carolina. How
• 48:34
Speaker 4: badly do you lose to Alabama? One score against.
• 48:38
Speaker 1: South Carolina Disney World during that taking place, and I
• 48:41
Speaker 1: actually took South Carolina that week. We were so close
• 48:44
Speaker 1: to looking like geniuses.
• 48:45
Speaker 4: JP famously not on the card, and even again against LSU,
• 48:53
Speaker 4: they're not looking the way that they should. Like Ty Simpson,
• 48:56
Speaker 4: you know, I love some Ty Simpson right, but misses
• 48:58
Speaker 4: on a couple of deep balls. Spy a little bit
• 49:00
Speaker 4: like he's still like he only has how many interceptions?
• 49:04
Speaker 4: One interception on the year. He takes care of the football. Well,
• 49:07
Speaker 4: I got Alabama here, but this isn't Alabama better wake
• 49:09
Speaker 4: their ass up? This is everybody. Look, everybody's tired, everybody's hurt.
• 49:13
Speaker 4: There's no time to bitch and moan. It's time to
• 49:15
Speaker 4: get rolling. And you got to do it this weekend
• 49:17
Speaker 4: against Oklahoma. Because I got them, I do have them
• 49:20
Speaker 4: winning and covering. But the whole Alabama looking unbelievable, Alabama
• 49:24
Speaker 4: being this national ti to run like they need to
• 49:26
Speaker 4: start showing us now at the end of the year
• 49:27
Speaker 4: because they've had a couple of shaky games against inferior opponents.
• 49:30
Speaker 4: No disrespect to the game Cocks JP, but that's that's
• 49:33
  Speaker 4: my whole thing. I know they've had a lot, I
• 49:35
Speaker 4: know they've had a long stretch. They need to close
• 49:37
Speaker 4: it out against Oklahoma, who took down Tennessee. Who's still
• 49:40
Speaker 4: in the conversation, who's gonna be hungry, who's gonna try
• 49:43
Speaker 4: and get back in and take what's yours.
• 49:45
Speaker 2: Alabama's gotta wake up this guy.
• 49:47
Speaker 1: Let's look at the dominoes, the style, and that's taking
• 49:49
Speaker 1: place when it comes to Alabama. The first the first
• 49:51
Speaker 1: game of the year, they play against Florida State. They
• 49:52
Speaker 1: dropped that game. Everybody's like, this team is dead. The
• 49:55
Speaker 1: competition takes place on the bus about guys are getting
• 49:57
Speaker 1: overreach at two in the morning, girls and maybe flying around.
• 49:59
Speaker 1: Guys are not disciplined. You give him USA cookie, ask
• 50:02
Speaker 1: for a glass of milk because they're going from Nick Saban,
• 50:04
Speaker 1: who if your shoes are tied incorrectly, he's yelling at
• 50:07
Speaker 1: you versus killing the boor who's more a little more lax.
• 50:09
Speaker 1: Let the players be players. They wrote that ship. Who
• 50:12
Speaker 1: had the longest home streak in college football? Georgia Georgia did?
• 50:15
  Speaker 1: Who broke that?
• 50:16
  Speaker 2: Alabama?
• 50:17
Speaker 1: Alabama So although they weren't great against infree opponents, no
• 50:21
Speaker 1: disrespect to JP, they have shown in times when the
• 50:24
Speaker 1: adversity strikes, they have been able to write that ship.
• 50:27
Speaker 1: That to me is unbelievable. We're going from a Florida
• 50:29
Speaker 1: State situation to where they're at now. See at number
• 50:31
Speaker 1: four in the country, not only in the eight people
• 50:33
Speaker 1: but also in the college football bracket. That is unbelievable.
• 50:36
Speaker 1: Their weapons they have on the outside. Even Ron Williams
• 50:38
Speaker 1: had a couple of drop this year. Unbelievable. Ty Simpson,
• 50:41
Speaker 1: who no one even really knew of until this season started,
• 50:45
Speaker 1: that's unbelievable. The way he's still in the ball taking
• 50:47
Speaker 1: care of it one reception, that's incredible. The run game
• 50:50
Speaker 1: not so great, but they don't want to do it anyway.
• 50:52
Speaker 1: They have the weapons on the outside. So all that
• 50:55
Speaker 1: being said, Alabama cover, did you take Alabama? Oklaoma, I'm
• 50:58
  Speaker 1: taking Alabama.
• 50:59
Speaker 4: I'm just saying I me and you were in the
• 51:00
Speaker 4: Alabama locker room and you're like, hey, we've played pretty
• 51:03
Speaker 4: unbelievable this year. To me, this is Cooper Comstocks saying
• 51:06
Speaker 4: we're gonna beat Northwestern the game that happened with the
• 51:08
Speaker 4: brasket Northwest, and they're like, no, no, no, no, we
• 51:10
Speaker 4: need to wake the fuck up, right and when all
• 51:12
Speaker 4: of these games have been a little too close for comfort,
• 51:14
Speaker 4: we need to wake the fuck up and play our
• 51:16
Speaker 4: best ball against Oklahoma.
• 51:18
Speaker 1: The big win against that is you dropped one uh
• 51:20
Speaker 1: in a week one and had to learn that lesson.
• 51:22
Speaker 1: You've been able to keep up games when there's obviously
• 51:24
Speaker 1: going to be a lull Ladis against the Ferry opponents.
• 51:27
Speaker 1: Now you're playing its Oklahoma team who you know, Bred
• 51:29
Speaker 1: Vannables defense. Everyone's always hooting and hauling about them. They
• 51:32
Speaker 1: bring up the run defense and Alabama's like, yeah, it's
• 51:34
Speaker 1: a great stat but it's not necessarily what we're what
• 51:36
Speaker 1: we're interested in. I think I am very impressed with
• 51:40
Speaker 1: kiln to board this year. Extremely impressive how it's handed
• 51:42
Speaker 1: the culture. Me sitting Max saying, unbelievable. It's like, I'm
• 51:45
  Speaker 1: a I'm a I'm a guy with that can't walk
• 51:47
Speaker 1: on a TV, on on a show right now. Yeah,
• 51:49
Speaker 1: I'm not sitting in the locker room instantly a culture.
• 51:51
Speaker 1: If I am in the law, we're in the locker room.
• 51:53
Speaker 1: That is one percent of the conversation you're having with
• 51:56
Speaker 1: those players. However, I see this going. Alabama's a way
• 51:59
  Speaker 1: big time.
• 52:00
Speaker 2: Could I say when you just sat there and said
• 52:02
Speaker 2: we're in the locker room, that touched me a little bit.
• 52:04
Speaker 2: I felt that you did not crack a smile. You shouldn't.
• 52:07
Speaker 2: You're serious. Do we think Alabama's a national championship contender? Yes?
• 52:12
  Speaker 1: Or no?
• 52:13
Speaker 2: Start here? Yes, Okay, I picked him to win it all,
• 52:16
Speaker 2: so like, clearly we got three yes's. If we're right,
• 52:19
Speaker 2: what you're saying is accurate. This is where you got
• 52:21
Speaker 2: to start revving the engine, like you're running out of
• 52:23
Speaker 2: weeks to rev the engine. Now. I'm not counting on
• 52:25
  Speaker 2: them to find a running game. I think they're a
• 52:28
Speaker 2: flawed team. I think everyone may have flaws, so a
• 52:30
Speaker 2: flawed team is gonna win it all. Alabama's been really
• 52:33
Speaker 2: good at overcoming their flaws. Like, to me, the biggest
• 52:35
Speaker 2: compliment you can give ty Simpson is all these other
• 52:38
Speaker 2: quarterbacks are doing it like Julian saying, no, he knows
• 52:40
Speaker 2: he's got a ground game. Fernanda min Doza knows he's
• 52:42
Speaker 2: got a ground game. Ty Simpson has no ground game.
• 52:45
Speaker 2: And he's still only throwing the ball to the other
• 52:46
Speaker 2: team once and they're still able to scale their offense
• 52:49
Speaker 2: every week. Last week against LSU was really interesting because
• 52:52
Speaker 2: if you watch the game, yeah, they win, they cover,
• 52:54
Speaker 2: they're coming out of a bye. You hope it's and
• 52:56
Speaker 2: instead it's like missed explosive plays by inches here and there.
• 53:01
Speaker 2: That was like a forty to nine game masked as
• 53:04
Speaker 2: a twenty to nine game. Doesn't matter if you keep
• 53:08
Speaker 2: tripping over yourself. My thinking on this game is this
• 53:12
Speaker 2: is the week where they actually find those explosive plays
• 53:15
Speaker 2: in Oklahoma's defense. Two different compartments here run d totally legit.
• 53:20
Speaker 2: It's a funny way this game works, because when you
• 53:23
Speaker 2: see strength matching up with weakness, you think big edge
• 53:26
Speaker 2: to the team with the strength. It actually works the
• 53:27
Speaker 2: opposite some ways. I would feel less comfortable about Alabama
• 53:32
Speaker 2: if more of their offense was predicated on the run
• 53:35
Speaker 2: this week, Like if they had run the ball a
• 53:36
Speaker 2: little more successfully this year, I'd be more worried about
• 53:39
Speaker 2: Oklahoma because Oklahoma stands a good chance of taking something
• 53:42
Speaker 2: away from Alabama that Alabama uses. Alabama doesn't have rushing
• 53:46
Speaker 2: yards anyway, like they don't run the ball effectively anyway.
• 53:49
Speaker 2: Lesser defenses have taken their run game away. The question
• 53:52
Speaker 2: is can you stop them through the air, because they're
• 53:55
Speaker 2: totally comfortable throwing the ball when they don't have an
• 53:57
Speaker 2: effective ground game to lean on. There were two teams
• 53:59
Speaker 2: that year that are roughly the caliber of what Alabama
• 54:03
Speaker 2: can put on you in the passing game that OU faced.
• 54:06
Speaker 2: And it was Ole Miss and it was Tennessee, and
• 54:08
Speaker 2: one of them threw for three point fifteen and the
• 54:11
Speaker 2: other one threw for three ninety three. I think the
• 54:14
Speaker 2: barely missed explosive passes you saw Alabama suffer from last
• 54:19
Speaker 2: week are hit this week. I think you see minimal
• 54:23
Speaker 2: crowbar effect from OU's ability to stop the run because
• 54:26
Speaker 2: Bama doesn't really need to run the ball anyway. I
• 54:28
Speaker 2: think the fact that Oklahoma's in the one teams and
• 54:31
Speaker 2: turnover margin and Bama's top ten really matters when you're
• 54:34
Speaker 2: getting them in your building. Bama's won seventeen straight at home.
• 54:38
Speaker 2: This is the time where they got to rev the engine.
• 54:40
Speaker 2: And unless I get a superhero performance from John Mattieir,
• 54:43
Speaker 2: which post injury, we have not gotten and I'm not
• 54:46
Speaker 2: going to assume that we get it now. I think
• 54:48
Speaker 2: Alabama's going to win cover and it's a double digit
• 54:50
Speaker 2: victory for Kaylin de Borr. And finally, this Saturday, you're
• 54:53
Speaker 2: looking at you saying, Okay, now they're locked in. Now
• 54:56
Speaker 2: they're ready for a stretch run.
• 54:59
Speaker 4: Well said in Aguilar, It's like you're talking about turnovers
• 55:02
Speaker 4: as well against these high power offenses. In great quarterbacks,
• 55:06
Speaker 4: Aguilar is don't about eight to the other team. Ty
• 55:08
Speaker 4: Simpson does a very good job of protecting the ball.
• 55:10
Speaker 4: And it's like, if Oklahoma's gonna find ways, is gonna
• 55:12
Speaker 4: be through turnovers and.
• 55:13
  Speaker 2: Everything like that.
• 55:13
Speaker 4: I do Ty Simpson, go be a fucking wolf brother.
• 55:17
Speaker 2: This is a big game. I'm excited.
• 55:19
Speaker 4: I'm excited to watch Alabama play True Classic Game of
• 55:22
  Speaker 4: the week.
• 55:23
Speaker 1: Are we all aligned other than your overpick on YouTube?
• 55:26
  Speaker 2: We are.
• 55:27
Speaker 1: We are every single games. So this is not separation Sunday.
• 55:30
  Speaker 4: Not separation.
• 55:32
  Speaker 2: No separation.
• 55:34
Speaker 1: Saturday. Yeah, go ahead, I forgot Senday doesn't exist in
• 55:38
  Speaker 1: your work.
• 55:38
Speaker 2: The difference is for Church. Yeah. The Baylor. The Baylor
• 55:41
Speaker 2: over is going to be the difference this week. Yeah,
• 55:44
Speaker 2: that's what's gonna end up separating.
• 55:45
Speaker 1: Also, I want to talk to you about True Classic.
• 55:47
Speaker 1: I'm wearing the pants right now and under this beautiful hoodie.
• 55:49
Speaker 1: I also have the pimat T shirt. Grabs chest, grabs
• 55:52
Speaker 1: his shoulders, leaves a little love in the middle. It's
• 55:55
Speaker 1: a windy day outside. It's gonna come and get you
• 55:56
Speaker 1: a little bit. You're gonna feel good, look good, and
• 55:59
Speaker 1: play good. You can find Chu Classic at Amazon and Costco,
• 56:02
Speaker 1: Sam's Club, Target and Target nationwide, or online at trueclassic
• 56:06
Speaker 1: dot com forward slash bust and look good, feel good,
• 56:09
  Speaker 1: play good.
• 56:09
Speaker 4: True classic Game of the Week. Every Saturday's got games,
• 56:11
Speaker 4: but only one fits just right. This is true classics
• 56:14
Speaker 4: game of the Week. We got Texas Georgia sargvs. Kirby
• 56:18
Speaker 4: Smart Arch versus Gunner Stockton Generational Talents getting after It.
• 56:22
Speaker 4: Georgea's favorite in this game by five and a half.
• 56:23
Speaker 4: The over under on this game is forty eight and
• 56:25
  Speaker 4: a half.
• 56:29
Speaker 2: Tex Texas is eleven and three since joined in the SEC.
• 56:32
Speaker 2: It's a great record. Two of the three losses were
• 56:35
Speaker 2: to Georgia. They were both last year. They had a
• 56:38
Speaker 2: combined sixty rushing yards in those two games. So physically
• 56:44
  Speaker 2: Texas should.
• 56:46
Speaker 1: Never What was that, man good just making a quick transition. Yeah,
• 56:52
Speaker 1: but transition like like an adult you just basically spin
• 56:56
Speaker 1: on the ground. It was it was honey, honey, give
• 56:59
Speaker 1: me your gum, the same thing fifteen minutes.
• 57:02
Speaker 4: Ago, and I just listen. I thought nobody's gonna see me.
• 57:08
Speaker 2: I'm just saying, I'm gonna saying. That was the most
• 57:11
Speaker 2: wild for something to be intended for no one to see.
• 57:14
Speaker 2: It was really theatrical. It was the mouth came wide.
• 57:19
Speaker 1: What do you do with it now? Don't put it
• 57:22
  Speaker 1: in your pocket.
• 57:22
Speaker 2: I do it all the time. I do it all
• 57:25
  Speaker 2: the time.
• 57:26
Speaker 1: I do it all the time.
• 57:30
Speaker 2: My apology, Sark game from Georgia sixty combined rushing yards
• 57:38
Speaker 2: against against Georgia last year. So let me ask you this.
• 57:40
Speaker 2: I got a lot of respect for Steve Sarkis and
• 57:42
Speaker 2: his staff. Is it unfair to say that until further notice,
• 57:46
Speaker 2: I don't think you can match Georgia physically? Is it
• 57:49
Speaker 2: unfair that until further notice I say they're gonna outstaff you,
• 57:52
Speaker 2: They're gonna out coach you. You haven't earned the right
• 57:55
Speaker 2: for me to say anything otherwise. Right, So Sark watches
• 57:58
Speaker 2: of the show. We all know that you at some
• 58:00
Speaker 2: point you got to look at him and say, guys,
• 58:02
Speaker 2: top to bottom, everyone in that building, that's big brother.
• 58:07
Speaker 2: You got to go to big brother's house. He's moved out,
• 58:09
Speaker 2: you're still with the parents at home. You got to
• 58:11
Speaker 2: go over there and you got to handle business in
• 58:13
Speaker 2: his house. You had two shots last year, one in
• 58:15
Speaker 2: your building, one in a neutral venue, although it is
• 58:18
Speaker 2: in Atlanta, and you didn't get the job done. So
• 58:20
Speaker 2: you've been given a window here. You already lost two games,
• 58:23
Speaker 2: but the playoff committee still saying They're like, they're hanging
• 58:26
Speaker 2: the dollar bill right over you, and are you gonna
• 58:28
Speaker 2: swipe at it and they jerk it? Or are you
• 58:29
Speaker 2: gonna be quick enough to grab the dollar bill? It's
• 58:33
Speaker 2: tough for me to say yes. I will say this though.
• 58:35
Speaker 2: Imagine in July, not knowing anything about the upcoming season,
• 58:39
Speaker 2: if I were to say, hey, come November, I've seen
• 58:43
Speaker 2: the future. The Georgia Texas game is gonna come down
• 58:46
Speaker 2: to quarterback play. Who would you have liked in July? Gunner,
• 58:50
Speaker 2: Stockton or arch Manning, arch Manning. I think the game
• 58:54
Speaker 2: comes down to quarterback play this Saturday. Who do we
• 58:57
Speaker 2: like in that scenario? Arch Manning, Gunner Stockton, Gunner, Stockton,
• 59:03
Speaker 2: arch Manning. Is it because Georgia cannot get after the
• 59:07
Speaker 2: quarterback in Texas can?
• 59:10
  Speaker 1: Not necessarily?
• 59:11
Speaker 4: Not necessarily quarterback not necessarily because Texas can, Like they
• 59:15
Speaker 4: are they play. They've been inconsistent at times defensively, but
• 59:18
Speaker 4: they do have a very good defense that will be
• 59:20
Speaker 4: challenged by a good Georgia offense, and Kirby Smart they'll
• 59:23
  Speaker 4: be preparing.
• 59:24
  Speaker 2: Ready to go.
• 59:24
Speaker 4: It's it's I believe more in arch Manning right now,
• 59:28
Speaker 4: because you look at his last two games, is through
• 59:30
Speaker 4: for like three seventy six touchdowns, and again Georgia can't
• 59:33
Speaker 4: get after the passeror that well. So an old line
• 59:36
Speaker 4: that has seen, hey, we should be superior against everybody
• 59:39
Speaker 4: this year. We haven't necessarily seen that from this Texas
• 59:41
Speaker 4: old line, but just having that mindset of going in
• 59:43
Speaker 4: this team can't rush the passer very well. I want
• 59:46
Speaker 4: to say confidence level is going to be high. They're
• 59:47
Speaker 4: going to protect protect them long enough to where Texas
• 59:50
Speaker 4: is scoring points the way we've seen them do over
• 59:52
Speaker 4: the last few over the last few weeks. That's why
• 59:54
Speaker 4: I like Texas in this game. I don't know if
• 59:57
Speaker 4: they're going to win the game, but I do like it.
• 59:59
Speaker 2: I do like them. He's been a close covering and
• 1:00:01
Speaker 2: arch Manning having an unbelievable game. CJ. Vogel put this
• 1:00:05
Speaker 2: stat at I cannot take credit for it, but he
• 1:00:08
Speaker 2: discovered that Gunner stock In and arch Manning are number
• 1:00:10
Speaker 2: one and number two in the SEC and pass attempts
• 1:00:12
Speaker 2: behind the line of scrimmage. Makes sense. Both programs recruit
• 1:00:16
Speaker 2: superior athletes. They trust him to get the ball in
• 1:00:19
Speaker 2: space and make yards after catch happen because of that reason.
• 1:00:22
Speaker 2: I think tackles, misstackles and yards after catch are two
• 1:00:25
Speaker 2: of the most important stats in this game. But Texas
• 1:00:28
Speaker 2: think about him on the road this year. They went
• 1:00:30
Speaker 2: to Ohio State, they lost. They went to Florida, they lost.
• 1:00:34
Speaker 2: They went to Kentucky and barely got out of there
• 1:00:36
Speaker 2: with a win. They had to come from behind in
• 1:00:39
Speaker 2: shocking fashion to beat Mississippi State. They beat ou but
• 1:00:43
Speaker 2: that was in Dallas. That's a neutral field. Eventually, you
• 1:00:46
Speaker 2: got to get the job done on the road. It's
• 1:00:48
Speaker 2: a huge pride and performance moment for Texas. There's something
• 1:00:51
Speaker 2: in the back of my mind that keeps saying what
• 1:00:53
Speaker 2: you just said, and that is maybe what you thought
• 1:00:55
Speaker 2: Arch was going to be in September. Maybe he is.
• 1:00:59
Speaker 2: It's just kind of clear and late, right, and they've
• 1:01:01
Speaker 2: given They've been given the second life. There's like fresh
• 1:01:04
Speaker 2: air in their lungs. They're coming off a bye. George's
• 1:01:06
Speaker 2: played two games in a row. Maybe they go in
• 1:01:10
Speaker 2: there and they're able to press them. We're getting six
• 1:01:12
Speaker 2: and a half, right with Texas. I actually took the points.
• 1:01:16
Speaker 2: Not trust Kirby smart implicitly, but I think It's a
• 1:01:19
Speaker 2: really compacted game. George Is played a ton of close
• 1:01:20
Speaker 2: games this year. Tennessee game was close. Oh Miss game
• 1:01:23
Speaker 2: was one possession, Florida was one possession. The Auburn game
• 1:01:27
Speaker 2: feels closer than any of those, even though it was
• 1:01:29
Speaker 2: a ten point game. Their blowout was last week, Georgia
• 1:01:32
Speaker 2: handled Mississippi State. I don't know physically that you're gonna
• 1:01:35
  Speaker 2: handle Texas. I just don't think you're gonna I said
• 1:01:38
Speaker 2: this last year. I don't think you're gonna run the
• 1:01:39
Speaker 2: ball in Texas like that. So I'm gonna take Texas
• 1:01:42
Speaker 2: plus the points. Josh, the line has moved to five
• 1:01:45
Speaker 2: and a half. Where you're still fine with that, the
• 1:01:47
Speaker 2: lion's moved to five and a half. That's breaking.
• 1:01:52
  Speaker 1: It.
• 1:01:53
Speaker 4: It is five and a half. Okay, sure, that's on
• 1:01:57
Speaker 4: me because last night when I was in the notes,
• 1:01:59
Speaker 4: I have this spread.
• 1:02:00
Speaker 1: The always take in the game. I always seeking in
• 1:02:02
Speaker 1: Georgia at six and a half. I'm gonna take them
• 1:02:03
Speaker 1: at five and a half.
• 1:02:04
Speaker 2: Oh, I'll take I'll take Texas at five and a half.
• 1:02:06
Speaker 2: I'll take Texas as well.
• 1:02:07
Speaker 1: I think we talk about Kirby Smart in November, yep,
• 1:02:11
Speaker 1: and we talked about last week about Mississippi State. They're
• 1:02:13
Speaker 1: gonna make it a game, and it was just exactly
• 1:02:16
Speaker 1: what Georgia does. They just know how to beat teams.
• 1:02:18
Speaker 1: Gunner Stockton knows how to morph into whatever Kirby Smart
• 1:02:20
Speaker 1: needs him to be for that game to be successful.
• 1:02:23
Speaker 1: And it is like, I have respect Sarcus a coach.
• 1:02:25
  Speaker 1: I think he's a great coach. I think if you're
• 1:02:27
Speaker 1: just looking at what both coachers have done, like one
• 1:02:29
Speaker 1: team is still figuring out their identity. There's a lot
• 1:02:31
Speaker 1: of hope and optimism because of the way arch Manning
• 1:02:33
Speaker 1: has played so far. But it's like still the Georgia
• 1:02:36
Speaker 1: Bulldogs that Gunner Stockton has been exactly what they need
• 1:02:39
Speaker 1: to be. They know what three running backs or all
• 1:02:41
Speaker 1: could be starters anywhere else in college football. And they
• 1:02:45
Speaker 1: play similar games, and I just think I'm gonna take
• 1:02:48
Speaker 1: the more proven product over one that you know, we
• 1:02:52
Speaker 1: get out of this game and Texas beats Georgia or
• 1:02:54
Speaker 1: it keeps it close, It's like, Okay, Texas, I'm really
• 1:02:57
Speaker 1: excited to keep watching them. Obviously their season is probably
• 1:02:59
  Speaker 1: over now.
• 1:02:59
  Speaker 2: I don't about that.
• 1:03:00
  Speaker 1: We'll get to that in a second. There's I'll just
• 1:03:04
Speaker 1: finish those seasons. Is probably over now. But like the
• 1:03:07
Speaker 1: arch Manning conversation, he's down on his luck, he's turned around.
• 1:03:10
Speaker 1: Is he injured? Is he not injured? Now he's throwing
• 1:03:12
Speaker 1: the way he is, Like that would be very exciting
• 1:03:13
Speaker 1: for me to like like appreciate and love. But Sark
• 1:03:16
Speaker 1: losing two of his three games in Georgia, this being
• 1:03:20
Speaker 1: at home for Georgia and then having the longest you know,
• 1:03:24
Speaker 1: home win streak in tell Alabama broke the earlier this year.
• 1:03:26
Speaker 1: Like they've struggled on the road. Kirby Smart November Football
• 1:03:30
  Speaker 1: Georgia Bulldogs, Right.
• 1:03:32
Speaker 4: But defensively they just don't get after that. Knowing that
• 1:03:36
Speaker 4: arch will have a cleaner pocket is where?
• 1:03:39
Speaker 2: Is where? That helped him hoping up.
• 1:03:41
Speaker 1: Tom because Texas can get after the quarterback.
• 1:03:44
Speaker 4: Because you know, what would you say, it's like Marcel Reid.
• 1:03:46
Speaker 4: He's been he's been kind of getting into some Heisman conversations, right.
• 1:03:50
Speaker 1: Someone met him earlier this week.
• 1:03:51
Speaker 4: Yeah, Texas A and M is undefeated. He's the quarterback
• 1:03:54
Speaker 4: of that team. Arch Manning statistically is very similar to
• 1:03:57
Speaker 4: Marcel Reid. But he said so many you know, he
• 1:04:00
Speaker 4: said those lapses earlier in the year. Yeah, yeah, their
• 1:04:03
Speaker 4: stats are their stats are.
• 1:04:04
Speaker 1: Similar mobility wise, Archs got I want to say, over
• 1:04:07
Speaker 1: two hundred on the ground, Marcel's what over three hundred
• 1:04:10
Speaker 1: on the ground. You know, Marshal's got more of Like
• 1:04:12
Speaker 1: I just think he's got more twitch and a little
• 1:04:13
Speaker 1: more wiggle than Arch does. So it's like getting away
• 1:04:16
Speaker 1: and stuff like that, like being able to extend play.
• 1:04:18
Speaker 1: Arch is very athletic. Even with the last name Manning.
• 1:04:21
Speaker 1: I think read like he's on a sentence. I mean, right, yeah,
• 1:04:26
Speaker 1: you're not wrong. At the end of the day, it's like,
• 1:04:28
Speaker 1: let's go with the prove. Let's let's not overthink this.
• 1:04:30
Speaker 1: Like I'm excited about Texas and what they've been able
• 1:04:32
Speaker 1: to do at this point. But Georgia is Georgia and
• 1:04:35
Speaker 1: it's November when Georgia plays their best football. Said it
• 1:04:38
Speaker 1: last week, I'll say it again.
• 1:04:41
Speaker 2: Fault at Love Tours in the building for this game. Wow,
• 1:04:44
Speaker 2: that's the first thing. The second thing, let's just rewind
• 1:04:46
Speaker 2: a second. You said Texas loses this game and their
• 1:04:49
Speaker 2: season is probably done. But do we really think that
• 1:04:52
Speaker 2: they're ranked I think tenth right now in the playoffs.
• 1:04:54
Speaker 1: Maybe nine to three.
• 1:04:55
Speaker 2: Correct, it would be it would be.
• 1:04:56
Speaker 1: If if they lose this and they will paint this
• 1:04:59
  Speaker 1: picture for so.
• 1:05:01
Speaker 2: We just watched Iowa at number twenty play a close
• 1:05:05
Speaker 2: game against Oregon, lose and only drop one spot. My
• 1:05:11
Speaker 2: opinion is if Texas goes on the road, loses a
• 1:05:14
Speaker 2: very close competitive game twenty four to twenty one to Georgia,
• 1:05:18
Speaker 2: but then they wrap their season by beating Texas A
• 1:05:20
Speaker 2: and M to hand A and M their first loss,
• 1:05:23
Speaker 2: I think the three loss Texas is the three loss
• 1:05:25
Speaker 2: team that could make the playoff. They may need like
• 1:05:28
Speaker 2: one or two things to happen, but I think three
• 1:05:30
Speaker 2: lost Texas. I think they paved the way for him
• 1:05:32
Speaker 2: last night. I think the committee already cleared the runway
• 1:05:35
Speaker 2: and now Texas has just got to find a way.
• 1:05:37
Speaker 2: And I think the scenario is they lose this game
• 1:05:39
Speaker 2: because you're just going to get minimally punished for losing
• 1:05:42
Speaker 2: a close game on the road against the top five team. Yeah,
• 1:05:45
Speaker 2: Georgia's five or six top ten team. And then if
• 1:05:49
Speaker 2: you beat A and M at the end of the season,
• 1:05:50
Speaker 2: like that's the final data point. That's like going to
• 1:05:52
Speaker 2: the carnival and swinging the hammer and hitting the bell
• 1:05:54
Speaker 2: and it goes all the way up to the top,
• 1:05:56
Speaker 2: and that's the last image they have not to mention.
• 1:05:58
Speaker 2: The Texas logo matters in the committee room, whether they
• 1:06:01
Speaker 2: want to say it or not. So I think Texas,
• 1:06:03
Speaker 2: even if they go in there and they lose this
• 1:06:04
Speaker 2: game competitively, it's deflating because, unlike pet they are in
• 1:06:07
Speaker 2: a must win situation. Because the legit programs always think
• 1:06:10
Speaker 2: they're in a must win situation. They come out of
• 1:06:12
Speaker 2: Athens know and they still got they may still have
• 1:06:15
Speaker 2: everything in front of them. May Well said, do you
• 1:06:20
Speaker 2: think the beat in m though We'll get to that.
• 1:06:23
Speaker 2: We'll get to that Thanksgiving week. Yeah.
• 1:06:28
Speaker 1: Yeah, it is an all defense. It is to anybody.
• 1:06:34
Speaker 1: Well you talk about and I'm talking about Texas.
• 1:06:36
Speaker 2: Just saying Mississippi State hung thirty eight on them, so
• 1:06:38
Speaker 2: can they neutralize anybody then?
• 1:06:40
Speaker 1: Or Bell put thirty one on them? But that was
• 1:06:43
Speaker 1: like a back that was it was the game?
• 1:06:45
  Speaker 3: Was it?
• 1:06:45
Speaker 1: It was Dego Pavi in the last five minutes.
• 1:06:47
Speaker 2: This would be future Heisman Trophy winner Marcel Reid.
• 1:06:50
Speaker 1: Yeah, best one hundred dollars you ever met the man?
• 1:06:54
Speaker 2: You think it's Marcell Reid? Plus a fifty.
• 1:06:56
Speaker 1: Who's had a better chance in your Marcel Reid or
• 1:06:58
  Speaker 1: Emma Johnson.
• 1:07:15
Speaker 2: He's got money on Marceau Reed. So I don't know.
• 1:07:23
Speaker 2: I don't know. You have to see the way the
• 1:07:25
  Speaker 2: season finishes.
• 1:07:28
Speaker 1: What they got weird about it?
• 1:07:32
  Speaker 4: I did.
• 1:07:32
Speaker 1: Yeah, anytime the Brassic comes in the full of no,
• 1:07:35
  Speaker 1: no trigger no.
• 1:07:36
Speaker 4: I'm more so saying like I'm just more so saying
• 1:07:39
Speaker 4: for a running back, you have to finish in a
• 1:07:42
Speaker 4: much different way than a quarterback does.
• 1:07:44
Speaker 2: Who's the final two games? Penn State and Iowa? Two
• 1:07:48
Speaker 2: pretty good teams, two pretty good defenses. Is that o?
• 1:07:51
Speaker 1: Those two foxhole games for us?
• 1:07:54
Speaker 2: Well, if anyone knows about fox holes, we know about
• 1:07:56
Speaker 2: fox holes. So if you hang two hundred on both
• 1:07:59
Speaker 2: of those teams, it's tough to do. But I think
• 1:08:03
Speaker 2: that's your purpose. Well, number one, your purpose is to
• 1:08:05
Speaker 2: win nine games. And number two, your purpose is let's
• 1:08:08
Speaker 2: win someone a trophy around here, maybe the Dope Walker
• 1:08:12
Speaker 2: Award maybe maybe bigger, maybe bigger, maybe bigger. We'll see
• 1:08:16
Speaker 2: how it goes. We'll see how it goes.
• 1:08:17
Speaker 4: Dogs of the Week. I'm going to Arkansas five and
• 1:08:22
Speaker 4: a half against LSU. Not my They don't know who's
• 1:08:27
Speaker 4: playing this week. Arkansas for selling boy, we got bench
• 1:08:32
  Speaker 4: last week?
• 1:08:33
Speaker 2: Yeah he did so. Yeah. I like Arkansas against LSU.
• 1:08:36
Speaker 1: Great, that's also my weekly parla. But I took LSU,
• 1:08:38
Speaker 1: so my dog of the week. I'm going Virginia dropped one.
• 1:08:42
Speaker 1: Last week they played Duke everyone like three. This is
• 1:08:45
Speaker 1: the third time this year I've gone in the Fando
• 1:08:46
Speaker 1: sports of a gap and I've just seen Duke and
• 1:08:48
Speaker 1: for whatever reason, like bolds to me and I'm like,
• 1:08:51
Speaker 1: why why is a line like that? And I've been
• 1:08:54
Speaker 1: to and O in that situation. This is one of
• 1:08:55
Speaker 1: those weeks again in Virginia.
• 1:08:56
Speaker 2: Five and a half. I'm taking Purdue plus sixteen and
• 1:08:59
Speaker 2: a half against Washington because I keep betting Perdue because
• 1:09:03
  Speaker 2: they're underrated. They're undervalued, They're a bad team, but they
• 1:09:07
Speaker 2: keep being given too many points. They keep losing and covering.
• 1:09:10
Speaker 2: So I'm gonna take Purdue plus sixteen and a half
• 1:09:12
Speaker 2: at Washington. A lot of rumors up there a by
• 1:09:15
Speaker 2: Jed Fish and his future, and I know where Barry
• 1:09:18
Speaker 2: Odom is gonna be next year. At least I think
• 1:09:20
Speaker 2: I do think he's gonna be a West Lafayete Indiana,
• 1:09:22
Speaker 2: and I think he's got an improving team. They haven't
• 1:09:24
Speaker 2: tapped out. They're not good, but at least they haven't
• 1:09:27
Speaker 2: tapped out, so probably lose by ten. I'm gonna take
• 1:09:30
Speaker 2: him to winning cover. I'm gonna take them to cover,
• 1:09:31
Speaker 2: not win, just cover.
• 1:09:32
Speaker 1: Ladies and Jeremy are up this episode. Just let you
• 1:09:35
Speaker 1: know if you don't already know, the voice of a
• 1:09:36
Speaker 1: profit boost token available every college football Saturday. That's a
• 1:09:39
Speaker 1: profit boost on any college football Saturday. Bet just open
• 1:09:42
Speaker 1: up the FANDO sportsbook gap this Saturday and look out
• 1:09:45
Speaker 1: for the boost in with the boys. PBT Weekly Parlay
• 1:09:49
Speaker 1: Weekly Parlay. I took LSU minus five and a half.
• 1:09:52
Speaker 4: Don't look for the parlay b YU minus four and
• 1:09:55
Speaker 4: a half against TCU.
• 1:09:58
  Speaker 2: Penn State's gonna roll against me, Michigan State's that's a
• 1:10:01
Speaker 2: top twenty JP pole team. Penn State. Once again, I
• 1:10:05
Speaker 2: did we have been in the binning of the shill.
• 1:10:07
Speaker 1: I was kind of stumbing through these cards and I
• 1:10:09
Speaker 1: saw the Penn State and I thought seven and a half. Wow, yep,
• 1:10:11
Speaker 1: what a gift being given that you just snatched right up.
• 1:10:15
  Speaker 2: Double digits.
• 1:10:16
  Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a.
• 1:10:18
Speaker 2: That's a great trying to get Jonathan Smith out of town,
• 1:10:21
Speaker 2: trying to probably negotiate something up there. Michigan State's done,
• 1:10:25
Speaker 2: they've tapped out for the season. Yeah, Penn State second life,
• 1:10:29
Speaker 2: Penn State finally finding out and we can throw the
• 1:10:31
Speaker 2: ball down the field. Wow, Nick Singleton, I can still
• 1:10:34
Speaker 2: run the ball. Do it against Michigan State. Could be
• 1:10:37
  Speaker 2: a fun time.
• 1:10:39
Speaker 1: The Boys and Blue, guy, Boys and Blue are playing
• 1:10:41
Speaker 1: Northwestern at Wrigley Field in Chicago. Away home game for Michigan.
• 1:10:46
Speaker 1: I think it was twelve and a half, might be
• 1:10:50
Speaker 1: less now, away home game. Yeah, like the alumni and
• 1:10:54
Speaker 1: Michigan is very prominent in Chicago and they're playing at
• 1:10:57
Speaker 1: Wrigley Field. Got to go blue in Chicago, to go
• 1:11:00
Speaker 1: blue in Chicagar. Think about all the times we connect.
• 1:11:02
Speaker 1: We're like going to an Oregon or something like that,
• 1:11:03
Speaker 1: and we're in Chicago. How many Michigan has you see?
• 1:11:05
Speaker 1: Fair enough? Yeah, so eleven and a half this is
• 1:11:09
Speaker 1: for Michigan, dude. This is a game that's like that.
• 1:11:11
Speaker 1: I wanted the pre game to be that. I wanted
• 1:11:13
Speaker 1: the Michigan State game to be like Northwest is going
• 1:11:15
Speaker 1: to sell out to stop the run. I don't think
• 1:11:17
Speaker 1: they'll be able to do that. A lot of guys
• 1:11:18
Speaker 1: are injured on the deepest side of the ball. I
• 1:11:20
Speaker 1: think it's more like a caution, like, hey, we know
• 1:11:23
Speaker 1: what's coming up in the next couple of weeks. But
• 1:11:25
Speaker 1: I think this is a big game for Bryce to
• 1:11:28
Speaker 1: take a next step. Like there was a lot of
• 1:11:30
Speaker 1: misthrows in that per New game. He didn't he didn't
• 1:11:32
Speaker 1: play well, but receivers were open, he just didn't hit them.
• 1:11:36
Speaker 1: I think this is a big opportunity for him to
• 1:11:38
Speaker 1: take that step this week because in two weeks you've
• 1:11:40
  Speaker 1: got the game.
• 1:11:41
Speaker 2: They are the team. Michigan is the playoff team that
• 1:11:44
Speaker 2: no one's talking about. I don't even think most of
• 1:11:47
Speaker 2: America understands. Do they control their Big Ten destiny right now?
• 1:11:52
Speaker 2: If they get Ohio State in there and they beat them,
• 1:11:55
Speaker 2: both of them are one loss in conference, you got
• 1:11:57
Speaker 2: the tiebreaker over them. It comes down to USC. Like
• 1:12:00
Speaker 2: if USC goes to Oregon and loses, that's their second
• 1:12:03
Speaker 2: conference lass, So you don't have to worry about USC
• 1:12:05
Speaker 2: because that had the head to head over you. So
• 1:12:07
Speaker 2: if if USC loses either this week or next week,
• 1:12:11
Speaker 2: they're out of the picture. It could if you take
• 1:12:13
Speaker 2: care of business between now and Thanksgiving week. That game
• 1:12:17
Speaker 2: against Ohio State is for a trip to the Big
• 1:12:19
Speaker 2: Ten Championship game. And I don't think anyone realizes that
• 1:12:22
Speaker 2: people have already just they've penciled in Ohio State, Indiana,
• 1:12:24
  Speaker 2: Ohio State, Indiana.
• 1:12:26
Speaker 1: Handled Dude, you go down, you see you scroll down
• 1:12:28
Speaker 1: on the college football you scroll out at the bottom,
• 1:12:30
Speaker 1: it'll say Indiana, Ohio State.
• 1:12:32
Speaker 2: Yeah, they don't even know Michigan still bet on the game.
• 1:12:34
Speaker 1: Yeah, you can bet on the game. And I wasn't
• 1:12:38
Speaker 1: like as far as the Big Ten Championships go, like
• 1:12:41
Speaker 1: I'm so focused on them, like having the possibility to
• 1:12:43
Speaker 1: make against the playoffs, and it's like the line's probably
• 1:12:46
Speaker 1: gonna be ridiculous again like it was last year.
• 1:12:48
Speaker 2: That's your path. You've got to beat Ohio State to
• 1:12:51
Speaker 2: make the playoff one hundred percent, and in doing so,
• 1:12:55
Speaker 2: you may just pave your way to the Big Ten
• 1:12:56
Speaker 2: Championship game in the process.
• 1:12:58
Speaker 1: Now, a hypothetical little sua, I mean, Michigan beats a
• 1:13:01
Speaker 1: host state, which we have in the last four years.
• 1:13:03
Speaker 1: Were a better team this year than we were last year,
• 1:13:04
Speaker 1: And I would argue that Aha, State might be just
• 1:13:06
Speaker 1: like a little bit worse, a little bit maybe more
• 1:13:10
Speaker 1: complete as a full team. But I don't even want
• 1:13:12
Speaker 1: to get into that. We beat a hot state, we
• 1:13:14
Speaker 1: go to beat the championship, we'll lose to Indiana.
• 1:13:16
Speaker 2: You're in in, Yeah, you're in because you would have
• 1:13:19
Speaker 2: been in the top ten already. They're not going to
• 1:13:21
Speaker 2: bump if they're not.
• 1:13:22
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, were in the playoff right, Like fifteen sixteen.
• 1:13:28
Speaker 2: Win over Ohio State would be the best win anyone
• 1:13:30
Speaker 2: has all year. You would you would easily jump into
• 1:13:33
Speaker 2: the top ten. And at that point, if you're in
• 1:13:36
Speaker 2: that playoff bubble going in the conference championship Saturday. They
• 1:13:38
Speaker 2: didn't bump SMU out last year for losing a conference
• 1:13:41
Speaker 2: time game, they're certainly not going to bump you out.
• 1:13:44
  Speaker 1: The logo too.
• 1:13:45
  Speaker 2: Yep.
• 1:13:46
Speaker 1: I can't wait for that game, man, because it really
• 1:13:49
Speaker 1: is no one's no one's talking about everyone's thinking about
• 1:13:51
Speaker 1: Oklahoma the USC game, which the USC game was an
• 1:13:54
Speaker 1: indictment on our entire program, and the defense has truly
• 1:13:57
Speaker 1: turned it around and played completely differ FOOTBA since then,
• 1:14:00
Speaker 1: Blitz has gone down I think twenty five percent. They
• 1:14:03
Speaker 1: were like above fifty percent blitzing before the USC game.
• 1:14:06
Speaker 1: After the USC game, we're like twenty five percent now,
• 1:14:09
Speaker 1: so it's a much more controlled discipline defense. That game
• 1:14:15
Speaker 1: is going to be unbelievable. I got I'm out for it.
• 1:14:17
Speaker 4: Ocus Northwestern, no doubt. Don't look past Northwestern. I think
• 1:14:20
Speaker 4: the big one is Maryland.
• 1:14:23
Speaker 2: Mike Loxley is still the head coach at Maryland? Is
• 1:14:25
Speaker 2: he now? He got fired? Well on Twitter?
• 1:14:28
Speaker 1: What have you believed that the final bite segment, we're
• 1:14:31
Speaker 1: giving a bold prediction hot take storyline flying under the Radar.
• 1:14:35
Speaker 1: It's gives fans one thing to keep in mind before
• 1:14:37
Speaker 1: finishing their week and tuning into Kickoff.
• 1:14:40
Speaker 4: Before we get into this final bite segment, this episode
• 1:14:42
Speaker 4: of The Locker Room is brought to you by McDonald's
• 1:14:44
Speaker 4: all New Buffalo Ranch Sauce. New Buffalo Ranch Sauce has arrived,
• 1:14:48
Speaker 4: and it pairs perfectly with your snack wrap, mccrispy chicken
• 1:14:51
Speaker 4: sand mccrispy sandwich, and mccrispy strips. It's got the zany
• 1:14:55
Speaker 4: tang of buffalo with the creamy cool of mild ranch.
• 1:14:58
Speaker 4: It's mild and wild at the same time. It's a
• 1:15:00
Speaker 4: sauce that balances itself and compliments are crispy Chicken, your boy.
• 1:15:05
Speaker 4: I personally love the mccrispy sandwich the most. And there
• 1:15:08
Speaker 4: is a new sauce in town, a McDonald's Tangy Creamy
• 1:15:10
Speaker 4: Buffalo Ranch order now available for a limited time at
• 1:15:14
Speaker 4: participating McDonald's while supplies last.
• 1:15:17
Speaker 2: Let's get into this final bite segment.
• 1:15:18
Speaker 1: You had a nice little bull take earlier this week
• 1:15:22
  Speaker 1: revolving around Nebraska.
• 1:15:24
Speaker 4: People know my Nebraska stuff. I'm gonna say my final
• 1:15:29
Speaker 4: bite as you're dipping in that little buffalo zesty sauce.
• 1:15:32
Speaker 4: I'm gonna say Archie Manning throws for three point fifty
• 1:15:35
Speaker 4: and three touchdowns and Texas beats the Georgia Bulldogs.
• 1:15:40
Speaker 1: So you're gonna take them money lot.
• 1:15:42
Speaker 2: No, not for the record, Oh okay, it's my final bite.
• 1:15:45
Speaker 2: We are hypothetical there.
• 1:15:48
Speaker 1: I like that dipping in denim boys hashtag dipping in
• 1:15:51
  Speaker 1: denim bull takes.
• 1:15:54
Speaker 2: I'm just gonna say I didn't pick either of these
• 1:15:56
Speaker 2: things to happen outright. Oklahoma and Texas both off buys,
• 1:16:01
Speaker 2: both on the playoff bubble right now. They both go
• 1:16:04
Speaker 2: on the road to face Bama and Georgia this weekend.
• 1:16:07
Speaker 2: If they were to both go in there and win.
• 1:16:10
Speaker 2: I don't really think people understand how close we are
• 1:16:13
Speaker 2: to an absolute and utter chaos seven SEC playoff team
• 1:16:17
Speaker 2: type world. But there's a world where if just these
• 1:16:22
Speaker 2: things happen, Vandy Texas and O you went out. If
• 1:16:26
Speaker 2: just those things happen, we would have seven SEC teams
• 1:16:30
Speaker 2: with two losses or fewer, at which point the committee's
• 1:16:33
Speaker 2: going to have to look and either say, all right,
• 1:16:36
Speaker 2: seven of you are in, or they're going to have
• 1:16:38
Speaker 2: to look at a two loss SEC team and say no,
• 1:16:42
Speaker 2: we can't let you in.
• 1:16:43
Speaker 1: Bad optics in that situation. Does that mean no ACC team?
• 1:16:50
Speaker 2: There is a world now that's a real chaos scenario.
• 1:16:53
  Speaker 1: Supercass red button.
• 1:16:54
Speaker 2: You got to have Duke win the ACC with four
• 1:16:57
Speaker 2: losses and be lower as a conference champ than USF
• 1:17:04
Speaker 2: and the American and James Madison in the Sun Belt,
• 1:17:07
Speaker 2: USF would be ranked higher than them, so they would
• 1:17:09
Speaker 2: get in. They would get the fifth guarantee or fourth
• 1:17:11
Speaker 2: guaranteed spot, the fifth guaranteed spot. There's a school of
• 1:17:14
Speaker 2: thought out there, and I don't know if I buy
• 1:17:15
Speaker 2: into it that says an ACC champ of any record
• 1:17:21
Speaker 2: is going to be given the nod over James Madison
• 1:17:24
Speaker 2: with a strength of schedule in the one hundreds and
• 1:17:27
Speaker 2: a double digit loss to Louisville is their only loss
• 1:17:29
Speaker 2: of the year, ironically an ACC team. I don't know
• 1:17:32
Speaker 2: if I believe that, But I don't know where the
• 1:17:34
Speaker 2: committee has James Madison because they do this little slide
• 1:17:37
Speaker 2: of hand thing where they show you their top twenty
• 1:17:39
Speaker 2: five and they let you know who their highest ranked
• 1:17:43
Speaker 2: G five team is. If there's no G five team
• 1:17:45
Speaker 2: in the twenty five, they don't let you know anything
• 1:17:47
Speaker 2: after that. So James Madison could be ranked twenty seventh,
• 1:17:50
Speaker 2: fifty seventh, no one knows, and they leave that will
• 1:17:53
Speaker 2: room so that when they get to the end of
• 1:17:55
Speaker 2: the year, if they've got this total disaster on their
• 1:17:57
Speaker 2: hands and Duke who has the second best to win
• 1:18:00
Speaker 2: the ACC Right now, by the way, if Duke wins
• 1:18:03
Speaker 2: the conference with four losses, and you're looking at the
• 1:18:05
Speaker 2: situation you thought could never happen, which is one of
• 1:18:08
Speaker 2: the power for conference champs, is not one of the
• 1:18:11
Speaker 2: five highest ranked conference champs, they can still somehow get
• 1:18:14
Speaker 2: them in. I don't know if that needs to happen
• 1:18:17
Speaker 2: for the seven SEC team, but forget about the rest
• 1:18:20
Speaker 2: of the landscape. Just imagine a world where you get
• 1:18:23
Speaker 2: to the finish line and seven SEC teams have two
• 1:18:26
Speaker 2: losses or less. Forget about whatever the rest of the
• 1:18:29
Speaker 2: field looks like, if it's crowded, if it's wide open.
• 1:18:32
Speaker 2: Just think about telling a two loss SEC team Vandy's
• 1:18:36
Speaker 2: probably a team by the way, they just went two losses.
• 1:18:39
Speaker 2: They finished with a win and Niland Stadium to end
• 1:18:41
Speaker 2: the year. Imagine telling ten and two Vanderbilt, we don't
• 1:18:45
Speaker 2: have room for you.
• 1:18:46
Speaker 1: Not invited to the partys.
• 1:18:47
Speaker 2: No one would have said in July, if any of
• 1:18:50
Speaker 2: these teams goes ten and two, they're gonna get left out.
• 1:18:52
Speaker 2: Everyone would have thought, if you go ten and two
• 1:18:54
  Speaker 2: in the SEC.
• 1:18:55
Speaker 1: No matter what, you're going to have ten and two
• 1:18:58
Speaker 1: in any of the power forwards.
• 1:19:00
Speaker 2: Spot pretty much unless you just play like a really
• 1:19:03
Speaker 2: paper soft schedule. And Vanderbilt won't have the highest drength
• 1:19:06
Speaker 2: of schedule in the world, but it'll be plenty good enough,
• 1:19:09
Speaker 2: you would think. So that's the thing, Like, you gotta
• 1:19:13
Speaker 2: you gotta keep a close eye on OU in Texas
• 1:19:15
Speaker 2: this weekend, because again it's not it's not mid October.
• 1:19:19
Speaker 2: We're in mid November, so there are three weeks left.
• 1:19:21
Speaker 2: Some teams only have two games left, so we're running
• 1:19:24
Speaker 2: out of time for quote unquote things to work themselves out.
• 1:19:27
Speaker 2: Sometimes things don't work themselves out.
• 1:19:30

• 1:19:43
Speaker 1: love that you have a final bite. Uh yeah, my
• 1:19:46
Speaker 1: final bite will be Pit scores less than ten, Notre
• 1:19:49
Speaker 1: Dame scores more than forty.
• 1:19:50
Speaker 2: Oh so someone does score forty, it's just not USC,
• 1:19:52
  Speaker 2: it's Notre Dame.
• 1:19:53
Speaker 1: Yeah. I get to see that happening. I see the
• 1:19:56
Speaker 1: first couple series Pit running to an issue and and
• 1:20:00
Speaker 1: then doubt creeps into its head. And then they remember
• 1:20:03
Speaker 1: that press conference of their head coach and they're like,
• 1:20:05
Speaker 1: well it doesn't matter.
• 1:20:05

• 1:20:08
Speaker 2: during the game looking at each other and going, yeah, hey, rugging,
• 1:20:11
Speaker 2: this one doesn't matter to us, and they laugh. Yeah,
• 1:20:13
Speaker 2: they laugh, check their phone. Yep.
• 1:20:15

• 1:20:18
Speaker 1: in their mouth already. It's the second quarter, but I
• 1:20:21
Speaker 1: can definitely see Notre dame just blowing the doors off them.
