Latest / FPL Pod / S7 Ep15: FPL Pod: Sell Haaland for midfield premiums?
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Harlan's hot topic again. After Sam sneakily triple captains him,
- 0:04Speaker 1: we discuss if downgrading him is an option as we
- 0:07Speaker 1: browse the best budget forwards and apologies. There's a fair
- 0:10Speaker 1: bit of singing involved today. Hello guys, it's Thursday, FPL
- 0:19Speaker 1: pod back with you. Another busy week of League Cup action.
- 0:22Speaker 1: But we're here to we'll talk for it all because
- 0:24Speaker 1: we've got Jewels here, and that's Jaws's job isn't to
- 0:26Speaker 1: watch all of the football in the world, and also
- 0:29Speaker 1: to look ahead to game week. I had to just
- 0:31Speaker 1: check what game week it was at that point of
- 0:33Speaker 1: the season. Already game week ten. We're in double digits.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Hello as well to you, Sam, Hey, hels are okay,
- 0:39Speaker 1: I'm all right, thank you, I'm all right. I can't
- 0:40Speaker 1: believe we're on game week ten already. Well, come on
- 0:43Speaker 1: to the lead Cup action. In just a moment, Jews
- 0:45Speaker 1: can bring us up to speed. A bit of busy
- 0:47Speaker 1: week ten hardwards sacked. We'll also talk about that, but
- 0:50Speaker 1: first let's reflect on how we did in game week nine.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Who wants to go first? I would like to go
- 0:54Speaker 1: first because I actually came out on top four once.
- 0:57Speaker 1: But Sam you're going to go fast I because what.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Happened Sam I played by triple captain Chip.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Yeah, that one quite In fact, if we just I
- 1:08Speaker 1: don't know, we probably can't do this. We definitely can't.
- 1:11Speaker 1: But I would like to kind of paraphrase what you
- 1:13Speaker 1: said last week when I said, is Earling Harland essential?
- 1:16Speaker 1: We basically all agreed yes, he probably still is.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Would we trible captain?
- 1:19Speaker 1: And like, what do we say, Geors? I think we
- 1:20Speaker 1: will basically be unanimous or no, weren't we?
- 1:23Speaker 3: Yeah, we said it could be tempting.
- 1:25Speaker 2: But in my defense, yeah, there is, Geors, Because in
- 1:29Speaker 2: my defense there is because we recorded last Wednesday and
- 1:33Speaker 2: then Man City played Champions League. Being a day early,
- 1:37Speaker 2: I am, yeah, it's basically your fault because I was
- 1:41Speaker 2: absolutely not doing it, and then I watched Man City
- 1:43Speaker 2: in the Champions Lee on Wednesday and night. Yeah, but
- 1:46Speaker 2: that's not the point Jews is he does this little,
- 1:49Speaker 2: little cute, little backflick and I was like, oh, hello,
- 1:52Speaker 2: are we back? And then it was against Southampton and
- 1:55Speaker 2: then honestly, I can't tell you how many times I
- 1:58Speaker 2: turned the Chip on and off and on and off
- 2:01Speaker 2: and on and off on Friday because I was so
- 2:04Speaker 2: unsure and I was traveling with my family on Friday
- 2:06Speaker 2: and I was just like, I can't make a decision.
- 2:08Speaker 2: And in the end, I was like, I'm just going
- 2:12Speaker 2: to do it. And I've made that decision about ten
- 2:15Speaker 2: minutes before the deadline to leave it on and I did.
- 2:18Speaker 2: In my defense, I did post it on social media.
- 2:22Speaker 2: It's just the none of you checked, so you know
- 2:26Speaker 2: it's your fault that you didn't know in advance that
- 2:28Speaker 2: I'd done it.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Hold on a second, have we've just been blamed? How
- 2:31Speaker 1: was I meant to know what happened to your team
- 2:33Speaker 1: when only you can see your team?
- 2:35Speaker 3: Oh?
- 2:35Speaker 1: I did.
- 2:36Speaker 2: I posted my team before the deadline and told everyone
- 2:38Speaker 2: I'd trouble captained him. But yeah, it was just it
- 2:42Speaker 2: was a very well, I think what I'm saying here
- 2:44Speaker 2: is it was a very last minute decision I made.
- 2:47Speaker 2: My thinking changed a lot on Wednesday evening after this pod,
- 2:50Speaker 2: and I just thought it's an opportunity and it so
- 2:53Speaker 2: nearly went well.
- 2:54Speaker 3: And then that is so Sunborn Field. Yeah it wasn't great,
- 2:59Speaker 3: but it's so nearly that saw English as well.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Second the second highest XG in his Premier League career.
- 3:04Speaker 3: And how many do you know how many xg you
- 3:07Speaker 3: have in the Promenleigue as well? Yeah, I've got super
- 3:10Speaker 3: high about scored zerral Gord.
- 3:13Speaker 2: So honestly, I was so frustrated because I was I
- 3:17Speaker 2: was in Paris on Friday and walking around with Harlan
- 3:20Speaker 2: and phone playing, and the amount of times that Foden
- 3:23Speaker 2: nearly assisted Harland that afternoon. It was one of those
- 3:28Speaker 2: we also just told to you a second because not
- 3:29Speaker 2: only did you trible Captain Harland, didn't you take a
- 3:32Speaker 2: minus four to bring Foden in?
- 3:34Speaker 3: You've just got captain ship. Yeah.
- 3:37Speaker 2: If I did take minds for thanks George, Yeah I did.
- 3:41Speaker 2: I did take him minus four.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Well, I had had lots of issues with my team,
- 3:44Speaker 2: so obviously Jos was ruled after we recorded, lots of
- 3:47Speaker 2: things changed because we already knew that Sleeper wasn't going
- 3:50Speaker 2: to be playing because he was suspended. We then found
- 3:53Speaker 2: out that Jotta was out for the weekend and subsequently
- 3:56Speaker 2: now know that he's out till the next international break,
- 3:58Speaker 2: so I had to deal with him, and then I
- 4:00Speaker 2: also had a couple of other issues in my team. Obviously,
- 4:02Speaker 2: I've got Barco as one of my subs, so I
- 4:05Speaker 2: don't have a full sub bench to cover this. Anyway,
- 4:07Speaker 2: Saiba was going to go, but then I was like, well,
- 4:11Speaker 2: I didn't know what was going to really happen with soccer.
- 4:12Speaker 2: As it happens, I could have left soccer. But had
- 4:14Speaker 2: I left soccer, I couldn't afford Enbomo and I really
- 4:17Speaker 2: wanted to bring him in as part of those transfers,
- 4:19Speaker 2: So I thought, why not? You only have once made
- 4:23Speaker 2: a minus four playing my triple captain chip and here
- 4:26Speaker 2: we are. Do you regret it? What the mine's wort
- 4:30Speaker 2: of the triple captain more than triple captain? Because I
- 4:32Speaker 2: saw a lot.
- 4:33Speaker 1: I saw a lot of people talking about the Triple
- 4:35Speaker 1: Captain and people trying to get their head around whether
- 4:39Speaker 1: it's it was a success or not.
- 4:40Speaker 3: It's not a success.
- 4:42Speaker 2: No, it can't be a success. What role isn't a success?
- 4:45Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 4:46Speaker 2: I don't regret it, no, because I think it was
- 4:50Speaker 2: for me, it was the right decision in the end,
- 4:52Speaker 2: and like you said, it could and should have been
- 4:54Speaker 2: so much better than it was, Like the amount of
- 4:57Speaker 2: opportunities that he had in that game. Like when we
- 5:01Speaker 2: watched Match of the Day, I was just like I can't.
- 5:03Speaker 2: I cannot fathom how he's only got one one goal
- 5:07Speaker 2: out of this one. So no, I don't regret it.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Am I disappointed by it? Yeah? Obviously. I think it's
- 5:12Speaker 2: one of those isn't it, where you when you play
- 5:14Speaker 2: a triple captain chip, you want to make significant gains
- 5:17Speaker 2: from it and one goal isn't going to give you
- 5:19Speaker 2: significant gains. So yes, it's disappointing, especially as he didn't
- 5:22Speaker 2: get any bones points either, so it was just the six.
- 5:26Speaker 2: But I don't regret it. I think it's you know,
- 5:28Speaker 2: it's done. It's the chip that I've played it. I
- 5:30Speaker 2: can move on now. Think about the other chips that
- 5:32Speaker 2: still got left.
- 5:32Speaker 3: You were lucky. I was in a good mood on
- 5:34Speaker 3: Saturday because I was about to send a lot of
- 5:36Speaker 3: messages in the WhatsApp group pretty much every time, and
- 5:41Speaker 3: then because I was in a good mood, I was like, Nah,
- 5:43Speaker 3: come on listen, and you're already we'd be painful for you.
- 5:46Speaker 3: So I just didn't.
- 5:47Speaker 2: But when you're being kindly, I was in a good mood,
- 5:50Speaker 2: you know.
- 5:51Speaker 3: But it was funny. It was really funny from our
- 5:53Speaker 3: point of view with Kelly to yes, just sel triple
- 5:58Speaker 3: captain and almost trying not to score three times, so
- 6:00Speaker 3: he didn't give you more points, Jews.
- 6:02Speaker 2: As for you, Aria didn't play Jackson and Salah side
- 6:06Speaker 2: the day again and.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Ando more of course, yeah yeah than Nico and Sala.
- 6:11Speaker 3: Even My defense as bad as ever this season, I
- 6:14Speaker 3: mean really really bad. I mean me given the VN
- 6:17Speaker 3: really is only here because you trigger some at the
- 6:20Speaker 3: time where I'm because suppurs are use less defensively. I
- 6:23Speaker 3: mean they all are good players, but they just can't
- 6:25Speaker 3: defend together. So I'm even wondering if they will ever
- 6:28Speaker 3: keep a clean chit ever again in the whole lives
- 6:29Speaker 3: and yeah, yeah, so not good. I mean concert last
- 6:35Speaker 3: minute ago, I was fuming Robinson the same. So you
- 6:39Speaker 3: lose those points, not just me, but everybody who has
- 6:41Speaker 3: a villa Fulham defender. It's probably the worst part of
- 6:44Speaker 3: this game with with some triple captain in Harland and him,
- 6:49Speaker 3: you know, not being able to hit a boundle. But
- 6:52Speaker 3: it's just those late points that you lose anything like
- 6:54Speaker 3: really come on.
- 6:55Speaker 1: So it's when you see it in your team, it
- 6:57Speaker 1: says you've got like sixty and then all of a
- 6:58Speaker 1: sudden you're like, oh yeah, great, thanks.
- 7:02Speaker 3: And then I was just surprised. And now I obviously
- 7:05Speaker 3: have to do something about it because he's there's nowhere
- 7:07Speaker 3: now after winning, it's not going to play again. I guess.
- 7:11Speaker 2: So we said that you last week, though, didn't we?
- 7:14Speaker 2: It was you?
- 7:16Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 7:16Speaker 3: Yeah, but I mean yeah, it would be on my bench.
- 7:19Speaker 2: So to clarify, do you sell your boys when they're injured, even.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Injured unless it's a long injury, they really very much? Sure.
- 7:30Speaker 3: I can't name him, but I've had a complaint recently
- 7:35Speaker 3: from a Paris born and bred Promier League player that
- 7:38Speaker 3: I was not he was not in my team? Is
- 7:40Speaker 3: this for? This is what this? This is what I
- 7:42Speaker 3: have to deal with. This is what I have to
- 7:44Speaker 3: deal with, you know. So some make it others I'll
- 7:47Speaker 3: have to wait a bit and see if I bring
- 7:48Speaker 3: them in. But yeah, So and Saliba they have a
- 7:51Speaker 3: place for life in the team.
- 7:52Speaker 2: And then then, so what you're gonna do about Turner?
- 7:54Speaker 3: Then? So Turner, I don't I mean Turner for me,
- 7:58Speaker 3: I didn't even know he was still for until I
- 8:00Speaker 3: swam last night playing, So he would have to go
- 8:03Speaker 3: and I might replace him with Henderson, which is who
- 8:06Speaker 3: I can afford, and who is this. You can't.
- 8:09Speaker 2: You can't having given me grief for all these weeks
- 8:11Speaker 2: about Dean Henderson, you can't get Jan Henderson.
- 8:19Speaker 3: The only positive that.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Came with Spurs losing by the way in game, and
- 8:23Speaker 2: I forgot about it completely that I had Dean Henderson
- 8:25Speaker 2: to go until I was raging about the Spurs result,
- 8:28Speaker 2: and then Lee went but don't you have Dean Henderson
- 8:31Speaker 2: and go? And I was like, brilliant, this was not
- 8:32Speaker 2: the moments mentioned that that has made me feel better?
- 8:35Speaker 2: Thank you? Okay, well, goal keep.
- 8:38Speaker 1: There's always seem to be a topic of conversation on
- 8:39Speaker 1: this podcast, normally Sam's head ache, but there jeels is
- 8:42Speaker 1: this week okay checking. Then on the FPR pod Mini League,
- 8:44Speaker 1: James White is top of the tree. He played his
- 8:47Speaker 1: triple captain on Harland. He also transferred in Bruno Fernandez
- 8:51Speaker 1: this week, which was of course ridiculously unlucky, as Bruno
- 8:55Speaker 1: had five of Manchester United's eighteen attempts on goal, more
- 8:58Speaker 1: than any other United player, also created three chances and
- 9:01Speaker 1: had a non penalty expected goal involvement of zero point
- 9:04Speaker 1: seventy four. He was, of course much more effective in
- 9:07Speaker 1: front of goal in the League Cup in midweek though,
- 9:08Speaker 1: so I'm sure I'll be happy with that transfer going forward.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Charlie Sheppard rises to second. He captained Bumo this week.
- 9:15Speaker 2: What a move that was.
- 9:17Speaker 1: But he did sell Saker person presumably I went quite
- 9:20Speaker 1: early on that transfer, which I'm sure would have been
- 9:22Speaker 1: incredibly frustrating. And George, before we move on to talk
- 9:26Speaker 1: about some of our bigger topics this week, a word
- 9:28Speaker 1: on the League Cup games, because thirteen of the twenty
- 9:31Speaker 1: Premier League teams have been in action this week.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Anything to note from those games?
- 9:35Speaker 3: Yeah, so we mentioned Spurs earlier, a good win for
- 9:40Speaker 3: them against Manchester City.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Hold on, I can't believe you've mentioned that before.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Sam has Yeah, because it's the biggest It was the
- 9:47Speaker 3: biggest game of the midwek.
- 9:48Speaker 2: I'm surprised she hasn't mentioned it.
- 9:49Speaker 3: I'm just surprised she wasn't there. That's why. Maybe so
- 9:52Speaker 3: when she's not there.
- 9:55Speaker 2: When we won at home last time, come on with a.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Good going from Timo. Owner. Didn't think I would say
- 10:01Speaker 3: that this season, but well done Timo. That was really
- 10:04Speaker 3: good and he needed that. Arsenal away at Preston. That's
- 10:08Speaker 3: an easy win, Newcastle beating Chelsea with Alexander's scoring again
- 10:12Speaker 3: quite strong team from Newcastle this time, so two and
- 10:15Speaker 3: two for each. Now we discussed him a little bit
- 10:18Speaker 3: in the last few shows. That's good to keep him
- 10:20Speaker 3: mand much to United, as they always do once when
- 10:23Speaker 3: the manager is sacked, they obviously react with a with
- 10:26Speaker 3: a very good performance. So they had five goals, two
- 10:28Speaker 3: for Casimiro Bruno, Financid as you mentioned, was very good too.
- 10:32Speaker 3: Cristal Palace going to Auston Villa and win. That's a
- 10:34Speaker 3: massive win for them. Is scoring and then getting injured,
- 10:38Speaker 3: which is not so good. And then Codigakpo with maybe
- 10:40Speaker 3: the goal of the of the round for Liverpool aware
- 10:43Speaker 3: at Brighton, which again he's very very good, but we're
- 10:47Speaker 3: not sure. We're not certain that he would start in
- 10:48Speaker 3: the Premier leaguet the weekend.
- 10:49Speaker 1: For example, that was a very round up to miss.
- 10:53Speaker 2: No I think that was it. Did you say Spurs one?
- 10:55Speaker 2: That was nice? Enjoyed that one. But will they went
- 10:59Speaker 2: at the ken the sadler that's the question, so I know,
- 11:02Speaker 2: and Van der Ven obviously picking up that injury that's
- 11:04Speaker 2: the problem for FBL managers. Yeah, so you look like
- 11:06Speaker 2: he was limping a bit as well, which worried slightly.
- 11:09Speaker 3: But there you go.
- 11:09Speaker 1: We'll see another thing that's happened this week. I mentioned
- 11:11Speaker 1: it at the top of the show. Eric ten Hogg
- 11:13Speaker 1: was sacked after the defeat to west Ham, that ridiculous
- 11:15Speaker 1: defeat where they had so many chances and I still
- 11:18Speaker 1: can't believe and he probably still can't believe that they
- 11:20Speaker 1: weren't ahead at halftime in that one, but they weren't.
- 11:23Speaker 2: They lost.
- 11:24Speaker 1: What does this mean for us in FPL? Sam, because
- 11:26Speaker 1: as Jewels mentioned there and I mentioned it too, that
- 11:29Speaker 1: had a positive response in midweek under Ruvanistroy.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Yeah, and we often see new manager bounce, don't we,
- 11:34Speaker 2: even if it is just with an interim coach in charge,
- 11:39Speaker 2: And obviously they've got that new story there. At the moment,
- 11:41Speaker 2: I think it will be well. The performance in terms
- 11:44Speaker 2: of last weekend actually didn't necessarily deserve the result that
- 11:49Speaker 2: they got. They had a lot of chances on goal,
- 11:51Speaker 2: they just didn't take any of them. But in midweek
- 11:53Speaker 2: they did, so I think now if you've got a
- 11:56Speaker 2: Manchester United asset, you'd absolutely hold them and possibly they
- 11:59Speaker 2: might even be a team that you now start to
- 12:01Speaker 2: look to invest in because maybe we see a bit
- 12:03Speaker 2: of a change of fortune, but I think yeah, if
- 12:06Speaker 2: you're already invested in and actually they're still quite heavily
- 12:09Speaker 2: owned the Manchester United. As said, they're a popular team
- 12:11Speaker 2: to own an FBL. So if you have a Brino
- 12:14Speaker 2: in your team, or even if you've still got Marcus
- 12:16Speaker 2: rash fora Garnacho, players like that, you probably hold them
- 12:19Speaker 2: and give them the next few weeks to see what happens.
- 12:22Speaker 2: But could be a really interesting time for Manchester United,
- 12:24Speaker 2: and potentially it's a good opportunity to get on a
- 12:26Speaker 2: team early because we've seen that they've got threat. It's
- 12:29Speaker 2: just that they haven't been returning on that threat recently.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Okay, so watch this space on that one and what
- 12:34Speaker 1: happens at Old Trafford. But over on the blue half
- 12:36Speaker 1: of Manchester, we've already discussed Sam's decision to triple captain
- 12:40Speaker 1: Earling Harland. She certainly wasn't the only one, but we
- 12:43Speaker 1: also discussed on the podles whether he was essential. I mean,
- 12:47Speaker 1: after five minutes he scores and we're all thinking great,
- 12:50Speaker 1: massive Haule. We didn't need to have that conversation. This
- 12:53Speaker 1: is why we pay fifteen million for him. But he
- 12:56Speaker 1: then didn't get anything else, not even a bonus point.
- 12:58Speaker 2: How worried are you?
- 12:59Speaker 1: Part a chilly in the light of the fact that
- 13:01Speaker 1: Manchester City still have got some injuries as well. Kevin
- 13:05Speaker 1: de Bruner still isn't back as well. And I think
- 13:07Speaker 1: service for me when I'm looking at early Harland, the
- 13:09Speaker 1: service to him is so essential because it does affect
- 13:12Speaker 1: his points.
- 13:13Speaker 3: Yeah, that's right. There was a good cross from matthewth
- 13:15Speaker 3: Nunius on that goal against Southampton and he seemed that
- 13:18Speaker 3: Nunius nice the starter on that left hand side, because
- 13:21Speaker 3: to be fair, there's no Grealish, there's no Doku. Savinho
- 13:25Speaker 3: seems to have picked up an injury now for Master
- 13:27Speaker 3: City as well. We didn't mention in that Ruanda, but
- 13:29Speaker 3: that didn't look good at all for him and for
- 13:32Speaker 3: master City, and it's been on really good form for them,
- 13:35Speaker 3: and we've seen that linker play between him and Holland
- 13:38Speaker 3: as well, the great goal that's mentioned in the Champions
- 13:41Speaker 3: League for example, they go against Arsnall in the League two.
- 13:43Speaker 3: That was Savinho's service for Holland if you take that away.
- 13:47Speaker 3: And yes, the food and the halland link is historically
- 13:51Speaker 3: really good but you just take away ammunitions for Harland
- 13:54Speaker 3: to score. This is what it is. So I'm not worried,
- 13:57Speaker 3: and I still think you should not play this game
- 14:00Speaker 3: without Earl Hall in your squads. I can understand why
- 14:03Speaker 3: you're asking the question if we can look at replacement,
- 14:06Speaker 3: and as we always say, it all depends on who
- 14:08Speaker 3: you replaced him with and if that player or these
- 14:10Speaker 3: players return to compensate what you'll be missing when Harlan returns,
- 14:15Speaker 3: for example. But I just think it's too much of
- 14:18Speaker 3: a risk and it's too highly owned to take the
- 14:21Speaker 3: risk right now. What we are fourth of the season
- 14:24Speaker 3: in to get rid of him.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Some of it starts from that game then eight shots,
- 14:29Speaker 1: four big chances, two point three three x G. That's
- 14:32Speaker 1: the biggest underperformance of the week, and he's only ever
- 14:35Speaker 1: got a better x G once in his city career.
- 14:38Speaker 3: You don't will never happen again. He will never miss
- 14:40Speaker 3: that many chances.
- 14:41Speaker 1: And that's that's kind of what I was going to say, Jees,
- 14:42Speaker 1: wasn't it. It's such an outliner, it's such an anomaly. Sorry, Sam,
- 14:45Speaker 1: I know that's painful for you because it's very much
- 14:47Speaker 1: is the case of what.
- 14:48Speaker 3: Could have been we should all have triple captain him
- 14:51Speaker 3: last weekend. It's a great decision.
- 14:54Speaker 1: I'm trying to move on from that, Sam, but the
- 14:58Speaker 1: point Jews made at the beginning of that little bit
- 15:00Speaker 1: was worthwhile in terms of it can't happen again, Kenny.
- 15:03Speaker 1: If you're creating those kind of chances and having those
- 15:05Speaker 1: kind of chances and your name is Earling Harland every
- 15:07Speaker 1: other week, surely you're going to score them.
- 15:09Speaker 2: Surely they have to turn into goal to Yeah. I mean,
- 15:11Speaker 2: it was just one of those performances. And that's why
- 15:14Speaker 2: I don't regret the Chipper captainship because the underline stats
- 15:16Speaker 2: were there. I just feel like it was incredible and unlucky.
- 15:19Speaker 2: And of those like four big chances, I think three
- 15:23Speaker 2: of them were assisted by Pod and so it was
- 15:24Speaker 2: definitely a case of what could have been in my
- 15:26Speaker 2: team like it was. Yeah, it was one of those
- 15:29Speaker 2: where and I think for me, Jeors is writing what
- 15:31Speaker 2: he says that it's really not about selling about selling
- 15:35Speaker 2: Harland because Harland has the underlying numbers, particularly last weekend,
- 15:40Speaker 2: to keep him and to hold him, and obviously he
- 15:42Speaker 2: doesn't play in the League Cup, so it's had that
- 15:43Speaker 2: midweek break as well, it's more about what you would
- 15:46Speaker 2: do with the money. So I think when you're making
- 15:48Speaker 2: the decision about whether you keep Harland, who's probably still
- 15:51Speaker 2: going to win the Golden Boots. So it's not a
- 15:53Speaker 2: question of is Harlan good and should you have him
- 15:56Speaker 2: in your team. It's a question of if I don't
- 15:58Speaker 2: have Harlan, who could I replace him with? And what
- 16:01Speaker 2: could I use with that additional budget, Because if you
- 16:03Speaker 2: move him and you go for one of the budget forwards,
- 16:05Speaker 2: who quite frankly, are just phenomenal at the moment. If
- 16:08Speaker 2: you think about the Woods and Vesta and Keunya and
- 16:12Speaker 2: Him Andez as well well Beckets, so many of them,
- 16:15Speaker 2: it's like this real core of like absolutely brilliant returns
- 16:19Speaker 2: from the like six ish million forwards. If you take
- 16:23Speaker 2: Harlan and you replace him with one of them, and
- 16:26Speaker 2: then you use that money to have like an absolutely
- 16:29Speaker 2: stellar midfield where you've maybe got Soccer and you've got
- 16:32Speaker 2: Palma and you've got Salah in there, then you can
- 16:36Speaker 2: understand why people are doing it. If you don't do
- 16:39Speaker 2: anything with that budget, that's where I think you then
- 16:42Speaker 2: just hold Harlan, So you're basically having a conversation between
- 16:45Speaker 2: do you own Harlan or do you own more of
- 16:47Speaker 2: the premiums in midfield. I think that's that's the CrOx
- 16:50Speaker 2: of it.
- 16:50Speaker 1: The fixtures then Brighton, Bournemouth, Spurs, Liverpool up next, Samma,
- 16:55Speaker 1: you tempted at all? George has made it very clear
- 16:57Speaker 1: then he wouldn't consider selling him. I'm going to put
- 16:59Speaker 1: my hands up and say, I'm seriously considering because I
- 17:02Speaker 1: have Palma, Sakka and Harland in my team, but I
- 17:06Speaker 1: really want Mosella. And for the reason you just said,
- 17:08Speaker 1: they're about budget forwards. It is so tempting, but I
- 17:11Speaker 1: live with the fear of everything. George has just said
- 17:13Speaker 1: then as well, what about you?
- 17:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not going to sell him. I think for me,
- 17:18Speaker 2: the performance that we had against Southampton last week and
- 17:23Speaker 2: the Spurs defense being what it is, even the Liverpool
- 17:26Speaker 2: defense being what it is this season, I think these
- 17:28Speaker 2: are defenses that he could score against. I think for me,
- 17:31Speaker 2: my bigger conversation is the kind of second forward. So
- 17:36Speaker 2: in my team that's Ollie Watkins, and I could take
- 17:39Speaker 2: significant budget out of him to use to upgrade in midfielder.
- 17:41Speaker 2: I've also got quite a few premium defenders still in
- 17:43Speaker 2: my team in Trent vardi Ol and Poro, so I
- 17:46Speaker 2: could take some money out of the back line as well.
- 17:48Speaker 2: And I think it's that conversation about where would I
- 17:51Speaker 2: prefer to make some sacrifices in my team, And I
- 17:53Speaker 2: think right now i'd prefer to sacrifice Olly Watkins knowing
- 17:57Speaker 2: that I still have Morgan Rodgers than I would harl
- 18:00Speaker 2: And I think I'm just going to hold him.
- 18:02Speaker 1: You've also it goes back to our conversation now that
- 18:04Speaker 1: you've also got the wild card as well, so yes,
- 18:07Speaker 1: and you can kind of fix anything you need to
- 18:09Speaker 1: with that in some ways.
- 18:10Speaker 2: So it doesn't that make it more more likely that
- 18:13Speaker 2: I would sell him having the worldcard, because if it
- 18:16Speaker 2: goes bringing back whereas bring him back. So there is
- 18:20Speaker 2: that a place in the back of my mind, which
- 18:22Speaker 2: is why I was quite prepared to take the minus
- 18:23Speaker 2: foard last week and just make make a few kind
- 18:26Speaker 2: of rogue decisions around Arsenal and or I didn't pay
- 18:28Speaker 2: off with soccer. But I know that in two weeks time,
- 18:32Speaker 2: when I hit the wild card, I can bring them
- 18:34Speaker 2: back in So not having an Arsenal defender for a
- 18:37Speaker 2: couple of weeks. Not having soccer for a couple of
- 18:39Speaker 2: weeks was a sacrifice I was prepared to make at
- 18:41Speaker 2: that point for the potential upside that that might come
- 18:44Speaker 2: with owning other players, and it should have maybe paid
- 18:48Speaker 2: off more than it did last week. It certainly did
- 18:49Speaker 2: with the Slibata Vardi. But yeah, I think with the
- 18:52Speaker 2: wild card intact, there is a conversation around do I
- 18:57Speaker 2: sacrifice Harnan for a couple of weeks have no compact
- 19:01Speaker 2: for game week twelve? Is that still the case? Well?
- 19:03Speaker 1: Yeah, game it looked in as in appointment, she's paid
- 19:07Speaker 1: a deposit and everything.
- 19:12Speaker 3: Planning, you know, vision planning, everything you learn from the best.
- 19:18Speaker 3: It's absolutely fine. I'm I'm happy with that.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Okay, so we're all not going to sell Arling Harlem,
- 19:22Speaker 1: but there'll be many managers that are considering it at
- 19:25Speaker 1: the moment, and as Sam mentioned, their jewels budget forwards,
- 19:27Speaker 1: we do need to have a serious conversation about them
- 19:29Speaker 1: because there are so many brilliant options that both of
- 19:32Speaker 1: you have already mentioned a few of them, and it
- 19:36Speaker 1: feels like whichever one you pick, they're probably going to score.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Particularly Chris Wood, I have hovered over that transfer all week, I, unfortunately,
- 19:41Speaker 1: on my wild card, went for the complete wrong one
- 19:44Speaker 1: of them, Dominic Calvert Lewin. Is he ever going to
- 19:46Speaker 1: score again? He did score and it was offside.
- 19:48Speaker 3: We did tell you that.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know why I did it.
- 19:51Speaker 1: I was being a sheep against someone else another friends
- 19:54Speaker 1: recommended him. I nearly went for well but I remember
- 19:57Speaker 1: when I nearly went for well Beco with Pedro. Anyway,
- 19:58Speaker 1: no more of my woes, because we're all sick of
- 20:01Speaker 1: that is, including myself. Who are the best options in
- 20:04Speaker 1: terms of points at the moment and in terms of
- 20:08Speaker 1: value looking at the points per minute and all that,
- 20:11Speaker 1: it's probably well Beck.
- 20:12Speaker 2: But Chris Wood for me is the one. Like I said,
- 20:14Speaker 2: Georgie just stands out.
- 20:15Speaker 3: Who do you? Yeah? Amazing? I mean we love him,
- 20:18Speaker 3: especially at that stage of his career, a bit like
- 20:20Speaker 3: well Beck. To be fair, they are over thirty already,
- 20:23Speaker 3: they know this closer to the end and the beginning.
- 20:26Speaker 3: So for them to have this incredible start of the season.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Seven goals in nine games for Chris Wood in the
- 20:32Speaker 3: Promier League, that is this is just remarkable. It's just
- 20:34Speaker 3: one go less than the whole of the Monster United
- 20:36Speaker 3: squad for example, just to you know, have a little
- 20:39Speaker 3: dig there. The only thing I would say about Woods
- 20:42Speaker 3: so incredible efficiency in the sense of he had nineteen
- 20:46Speaker 3: shots thirteen on target. The conversion the rates of shot
- 20:49Speaker 3: on target is is amazing if especially if you're compared
- 20:53Speaker 3: to the others. For example, but his G is three
- 20:55Speaker 3: point seven, so it's called seven goals off a three
- 20:58Speaker 3: point seven XG. I'm not sure how sustainable this is
- 21:02Speaker 3: because it's so many. It's almost like twice more the
- 21:05Speaker 3: goals that he should not have scored that he did score.
- 21:08Speaker 3: So credit to him and to Forrest. Really good start
- 21:11Speaker 3: of the season, well done. I'm just not sure how
- 21:13Speaker 3: much how long it can stay on this trajectory of
- 21:17Speaker 3: scoring more goals than really he should be doing so
- 21:20Speaker 3: if you believe in starts an XG. But if you
- 21:23Speaker 3: look at the game coming up west Ham Newcastle, arsonal
- 21:25Speaker 3: Ip Swift City, so the away games are tough and
- 21:28Speaker 3: the home games are much more winnable from a Nothingham
- 21:31Speaker 3: Forest point of view. So Chris Wood is definitely a
- 21:34Speaker 3: great option. And you know he's going to start, and
- 21:36Speaker 3: again you know that the service that we were talking
- 21:39Speaker 3: about all and the service is there very much for
- 21:42Speaker 3: Chris Woods, Gibbs White is going to come back, and
- 21:44Speaker 3: you've got the wingers, and you've got the football, You've
- 21:46Speaker 3: got everybody really working towards Chris Woods, so him as
- 21:51Speaker 3: a as a center forward and a focal point. So
- 21:54Speaker 3: this is great. For well beg the g is four
- 21:57Speaker 3: point five for six goals for example, So this is
- 22:00Speaker 3: much more normal, shall we say. But I just think
- 22:04Speaker 3: both of them are being incredible Liverpool City the next
- 22:08Speaker 3: two games for Brighton, this is really tough. If you
- 22:10Speaker 3: want to invest in Danny Welbeck right now, I'm not
- 22:13Speaker 3: so sure. And the third one will be Wesap purely
- 22:15Speaker 3: because it's obviously party is born and bred.
- 22:19Speaker 2: It's not just sorry.
- 22:19Speaker 1: I'm just going to actually just clear up some of
- 22:21Speaker 1: the Waffley stats I said at the beginning of that
- 22:23Speaker 1: in terms of these budget forwards and the total points,
- 22:25Speaker 1: it's actually Chris Wood that's got the most on fifty nine,
- 22:28Speaker 1: then Danny Wellbeck on fifty seven. That does mean that
- 22:31Speaker 1: Chris Wood has got points per start of six point six.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Wellbeck is six point three per s start.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Crazy. Nobody could have seen that coming. Same.
- 22:38Speaker 1: It's not just because Visa is prision that we should
- 22:40Speaker 1: be bringing him in seven point six points. It's not
- 22:44Speaker 1: a good reason. It's a reason for Julian and Ron
- 22:46Speaker 1: and for no one else. Maybe other Prisians also do
- 22:48Speaker 1: the same jewels, but it's a seven point six points
- 22:51Speaker 1: per start. He was out of the team for a
- 22:53Speaker 1: while and no loads of people put him in on
- 22:56Speaker 1: wild card. Another way into that Brentford attack providing the
- 22:58Speaker 1: points from Bermo, we loved double up. One of my friends,
- 23:01Speaker 1: by the way, actually bought in Visa on his wild card.
- 23:04Speaker 1: He was in out the team, so we took him out,
- 23:06Speaker 1: bought in Dominic Calvert Lewin and he texted me the
- 23:07Speaker 1: other day said Visa has now scored more points since
- 23:09Speaker 1: I sold him till now, more than DCL. So DCL
- 23:14Speaker 1: has been playing all that time and Visa has still
- 23:15Speaker 1: outscored him. I won't name him because he won't thank
- 23:19Speaker 1: me for that. He also sent me that text.
- 23:21Speaker 3: From him, thanks you, that's for sure.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Well, I'm also a DCL owner, and I can also
- 23:26Speaker 1: confirm that it hasn't been particularly fruitful owning him, especially
- 23:30Speaker 1: when the likes of Welbeck would have all been scoring,
- 23:33Speaker 1: and when Visa, even when not in the team has
- 23:35Speaker 1: been outscoring him Sam, but Visa a word on Visa
- 23:38Speaker 1: rather than mine of my friends.
- 23:39Speaker 2: Wise, Yeah, I mean, if you remember back to game
- 23:42Speaker 2: week three, my plan was to bring him in for
- 23:43Speaker 2: game week four, and then he went and got himself injured,
- 23:46Speaker 2: and that was just one of those moments where, like
- 23:49Speaker 2: you know, he'd obviously returned in allder the games before
- 23:51Speaker 2: he got injured apart from that game against Liverpool in
- 23:53Speaker 2: game week two, and then since then he's come back.
- 23:56Speaker 2: He played twenty four minutes in game week nine and
- 23:58Speaker 2: then comes back in for game week ten. Unlucky to
- 24:00Speaker 2: only get the ten points in FPL last week because
- 24:04Speaker 2: they've subsequently given him the goal that he got the
- 24:06Speaker 2: assist for, but obviously that was after the FPL game
- 24:08Speaker 2: week closed, so the points don't change at that point,
- 24:10Speaker 2: so couldn't and should have actually had more points in
- 24:13Speaker 2: fl I think for me, he is the cheap forward
- 24:18Speaker 2: that I like the most. I just think the pictures
- 24:21Speaker 2: that they have coming up obviously it's full and Born
- 24:22Speaker 2: with Everton Lester and then Villa, Newcastle, Chelsea, Nutting Forest Brighton.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Those fixtures look really really good for such a long
- 24:30Speaker 2: period of time for Brentford and and Bomo. Like I
- 24:33Speaker 2: brought him in last week, I enjoyed owning him for
- 24:36Speaker 2: a week. But I'm also kind of thinking, well, he's
- 24:38Speaker 2: becoming so popular now with FPL managers that it's going
- 24:42Speaker 2: to be one of those players that actually doesn't really
- 24:44Speaker 2: make much difference to your team to have him there
- 24:46Speaker 2: because everybody's got him, so doubling up on the Brenford
- 24:50Speaker 2: attack actually makes a lot of sense.
- 24:52Speaker 3: And I think, I just I love he's key to
- 24:56Speaker 3: do because I've got Abomo and obviously I love Wesa too.
- 25:00Speaker 3: It's just, and we said last we didn't we that
- 25:03Speaker 3: they compliment each other so well that they actually improve
- 25:06Speaker 3: each other really well, and as we saw the weekend,
- 25:08Speaker 3: because they were both outstanding. But you don't think it's
- 25:10Speaker 3: a little bit risky to double upon and have them
- 25:13Speaker 3: both in your team.
- 25:15Speaker 2: I mean, it's always a bit of a risk, isn't it.
- 25:16Speaker 2: Like there's been nothing more frustrating in the last few
- 25:19Speaker 2: weeks than having Morgan Rodgers and Olie Watkins in my team.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Because when they do well, yeah, yeah, then it's great,
- 25:25Speaker 2: But like last week when they both blanked, it has
- 25:28Speaker 2: such a negative impact on your team. The thing is
- 25:30Speaker 2: with Mbomo and with Whisso is that you kind of
- 25:34Speaker 2: feel like they're always likely to score. And like with Mbomo,
- 25:36Speaker 2: over the last few weeks, it has been kind of
- 25:38Speaker 2: like one goal here, one goal there, but really well
- 25:41Speaker 2: playing well Via comes back in and suddenly it's like, wow, okay,
- 25:44Speaker 2: well we're getting multiple goals out of both of them.
- 25:48Speaker 2: I just think owning the pair of them, that block
- 25:50Speaker 2: of fixtures is the sort of fixture block that you
- 25:53Speaker 2: would look at for a team and go double up,
- 25:56Speaker 2: don't just have one. And I think when you compare
- 25:59Speaker 2: that to what we're seeing in others, like for me, yes,
- 26:02Speaker 2: well Beck not for the next two but come game
- 26:04Speaker 2: week twelve on a wild card, I'll definitely be looking
- 26:06Speaker 2: at him. Would I tend to agree with what you
- 26:09Speaker 2: said earlier? Or is like with the goal can version
- 26:11Speaker 2: rate of thirty six point eight, how long is that
- 26:13Speaker 2: sustainable for I don't I'm not sure that it is
- 26:17Speaker 2: not in the long term anyway. I really like Kunya
- 26:19Speaker 2: as well. I think he's the other option, like it's
- 26:21Speaker 2: between us Sir and Cunya for me in terms of
- 26:24Speaker 2: where I would go for a budget forward right now,
- 26:27Speaker 2: Quny's got four attacking returns this season, even after the
- 26:30Speaker 2: horrific fixture run that Wolves have had to start the
- 26:32Speaker 2: season to have four goals, only six boards in the
- 26:35Speaker 2: game have more than that. He's a twenty seven attempts
- 26:38Speaker 2: on goal so far against teams like Arsenal, Chelsea, Villa,
- 26:41Speaker 2: Man City, Liverpool, newcast or Brentford like horrible, horrible fixture run,
- 26:46Speaker 2: and I think with the fixtures that they now have
- 26:48Speaker 2: coming up, you would expect there to be more attempts
- 26:51Speaker 2: on goal for Kunya and more attacking returns therefore, so yeah,
- 26:56Speaker 2: I think Kunya, we're sir. They're the way I would go.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Would you if you couldn't afford to go to a
- 27:01Speaker 2: Kuna go to a strand Arson? Or does what does
- 27:03Speaker 2: Kuna have for you over him? So I like the
- 27:06Speaker 2: strand Laarson pick as well, to be fair, And I
- 27:08Speaker 2: think if you've only got five and a half and
- 27:11Speaker 2: you haven't got six and a half, then you can
- 27:13Speaker 2: absolutely do that. I just think that Kenya's attacking threat
- 27:17Speaker 2: is a little bit greater and that's what it costs
- 27:18Speaker 2: you that million more. And I like the relationship that
- 27:21Speaker 2: he has down that side of the pitch. So for me,
- 27:24Speaker 2: I just prefer I just prefer Kenya. But I can
- 27:28Speaker 2: see why, like a million's not it's a lot at
- 27:32Speaker 2: the mom MILLI in FBL because a million is the
- 27:34Speaker 2: difference between say, having a Phil Foden and having a Bacciosaka. Yeah,
- 27:40Speaker 2: and at that point, when you're looking at it in
- 27:42Speaker 2: that light, it makes a difference.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Okay, So you can go for a five point five
- 27:46Speaker 1: million forward or around those that kind of price point.
- 27:49Speaker 1: Then you got Visa at five point nine. Then obviously
- 27:51Speaker 1: you go up to six point five. You can also
- 27:53Speaker 1: open up this price bracket. I don't know where we
- 27:55Speaker 1: go at how high budget goes to be honest, seven
- 27:58Speaker 1: point five you can go to a Mateta or someone
- 28:00Speaker 1: he's got three attacking returns. And then of course if
- 28:03Speaker 1: you go between the seven point five eight million bracket,
- 28:05Speaker 1: you'll s open it up to Jackson and Selanky if
- 28:07Speaker 1: you still got Habits Driels as well. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 28:11Speaker 1: but I've lost track of where he's priced at now.
- 28:13Speaker 1: But because I kind of forget that he's almost in
- 28:15Speaker 1: that price bracket, isn't he.
- 28:17Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I'll tell you now, I don't I don't even.
- 28:19Speaker 2: Know myself to point too, so it's just above it.
- 28:21Speaker 3: Yeah, eight point two and two games in a row
- 28:24Speaker 3: now without returning obviously Liverpool at the weekend uh and
- 28:28Speaker 3: then Born with the weekend before when they played with
- 28:30Speaker 3: ten men for an hour. He scored in midweek against
- 28:36Speaker 3: against Preston came on a half time. I still feel
- 28:39Speaker 3: that we have as because I don't have Paka either,
- 28:41Speaker 3: and I want an Arsenal attacker. He's a good he's
- 28:46Speaker 3: a good stude for Soaka because I think he's very
- 28:49Speaker 3: much always involved. They clearly play a lot on him.
- 28:52Speaker 3: He's guaranteed to start all the time.
- 28:54Speaker 2: UH.
- 28:55Speaker 3: And he's having a really he's having a good season.
- 28:57Speaker 3: I know he blamed the last two games two game weeks,
- 28:59Speaker 3: but he's still having a really good season. And that's
- 29:01Speaker 3: that's the only reason why I'm I don't really want
- 29:03Speaker 3: to let him go, But then Nico is doing really
- 29:06Speaker 3: well for me, so there's no way I let Nico
- 29:08Speaker 3: Jackson go now. He's improved massively. This is a team
- 29:12Speaker 3: that we always call goals Chelsea. There we always create
- 29:15Speaker 3: goals as well from Nico, but also from others for
- 29:18Speaker 3: Nico Jackson. So with Colled Pama in that kind of fall.
- 29:20Speaker 3: I mean they we said that all the time, and
- 29:23Speaker 3: I talked about petitions before. But co Palmer's second assist
- 29:27Speaker 3: for the Nico Jackson got of the weekend, so beautiful
- 29:30Speaker 3: Neto gets the point for nothing because any people could
- 29:33Speaker 3: have done that pass and for Nicol scoring the same,
- 29:35Speaker 3: it's an absolute happing, but nothing for Cord Parmer. I
- 29:37Speaker 3: felt that was a bit.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Better me and I finally got called Parma much more.
- 29:41Speaker 3: It deserved at least one or two points for that
- 29:43Speaker 3: second assist, but you know so, so yeah, Nico Jackson
- 29:47Speaker 3: is a mestap for me if you look over the
- 29:50Speaker 3: budget strikers, but for Harvard's I know it's a Newcastle
- 29:55Speaker 3: to come and then Chelsea to come both away games too.
- 30:00Speaker 2: I don't know, I just but Jools, like this is
- 30:04Speaker 2: really painful for me to say this because I hate
- 30:06Speaker 2: giving you credit for things. But it's almost a good idea, though,
- 30:10Speaker 2: isn't it to have Harts and Jackson if you're not
- 30:13Speaker 2: going to have soccer and party because I've got I've
- 30:16Speaker 2: got soccer and Palmer, so I wouldn't go for either
- 30:18Speaker 2: of those two. But then you've managed to have Sala
- 30:20Speaker 2: so you've managed to get into that attack. It's it's
- 30:22Speaker 2: all about covering off those attacks, almost, isn't it. Yeah, absolutely,
- 30:25Speaker 2: And I think that is one of the things that
- 30:27Speaker 2: you need to kind of be considering, Like if you
- 30:30Speaker 2: are thinking about going into one of the proper budget
- 30:33Speaker 2: forward and sacrificing, even if it is sacrificing a hat
- 30:37Speaker 2: to come down a little bit to free up some money,
- 30:39Speaker 2: If you're doing that because you want to invest in
- 30:41Speaker 2: soccer and therefore stay invested in the Arsenal attack, or
- 30:44Speaker 2: you want to invest in you want to do it
- 30:46Speaker 2: with Jackson because you want to invest in Palmer, then
- 30:48Speaker 2: I absolutely think that that makes sense. If you're doing
- 30:51Speaker 2: it and it's still not going to give you enough
- 30:54Speaker 2: money to get to Palmer in soccer, then I almost
- 30:57Speaker 2: think you're better off sticking with what you have because
- 30:59Speaker 2: lead you are invested in two of the most attacking
- 31:02Speaker 2: teams that we have in the league. Because like you
- 31:04Speaker 2: enjoys the team with Salah and then Pomo, you probably
- 31:07Speaker 2: haven't got many other expensive midfielders in there, have you
- 31:10Speaker 2: Joels No, So if you take those two down, you're
- 31:14Speaker 2: not going to be able to get to both soccer
- 31:16Speaker 2: and Jackson, I don't think so Soccer and Palmer. Sorry,
- 31:19Speaker 2: So then you might as well just stick with the
- 31:21Speaker 2: tea that you have because you've already used your World
- 31:22Speaker 2: card as well. So it's not like you can pump
- 31:24Speaker 2: on players in and out and then World card a
- 31:26Speaker 2: bit later on to get them back in.
- 31:28Speaker 3: Yeah, that's right, but but it's a it's a I
- 31:31Speaker 3: think it's a very good debate to have over those
- 31:33Speaker 3: budget players or do you go for more established play.
- 31:36Speaker 3: Look at Solonki for example, he had zero shot on
- 31:38Speaker 3: target in his like six games, zero shots. So you
- 31:41Speaker 3: can have shots that are not on target and still
- 31:42Speaker 3: it's a good chance and you could have scored. You
- 31:44Speaker 3: were maybe unlucky, no, but but if they're not on target,
- 31:47Speaker 3: it's impossible for you to score. Still, And I think
- 31:50Speaker 3: for him to have zero shot on target in the
- 31:52Speaker 3: like six games, this is a lot for any number nine,
- 31:56Speaker 3: how good they are or not, how good this team
- 31:58Speaker 3: is or not, it's incredible. And I know this person
- 32:01Speaker 3: team still is all about wingers and all about why players,
- 32:04Speaker 3: and that's why Brandon Johnson has done so well, and
- 32:07Speaker 3: so when he came back, et cetera, et cetera. But
- 32:10Speaker 3: if you we all thought Solanki was a really good
- 32:12Speaker 3: option at some point, I think the three of us
- 32:13Speaker 3: had him.
- 32:14Speaker 2: I've got him, We've still have him.
- 32:16Speaker 3: Yeah, you still have him. I just look at that
- 32:18Speaker 3: and said, I'm sorry, but you're sean target in your
- 32:21Speaker 3: last six games. This is for me, this is not acceptable.
- 32:25Speaker 2: I'm considering.
- 32:27Speaker 1: I'm very seriously considering selling him because Sam also, as
- 32:30Speaker 1: you mentioned, the good thing is Posta Cooglo is very
- 32:33Speaker 1: honest in his press conferences. Depending on what Postocoglu said.
- 32:36Speaker 1: If he's not fair, I've got Dominic Cavallewin. As I've mentioned,
- 32:40Speaker 1: I've also got Dominic Selangley, and that.
- 32:42Speaker 2: To me, dominate, Yeah, dominate.
- 32:49Speaker 1: That you thought that quickly on the spot, then I
- 32:51Speaker 1: couldn't think of another Dominique. It feels criminal to be
- 32:55Speaker 1: doing that at the moment in FPL, when there are
- 32:56Speaker 1: so many other good options. How can I expect to
- 32:58Speaker 1: be set me to he's an FBL player, and I've
- 33:01Speaker 1: got too awful forwards when there's so many performing. But
- 33:04Speaker 1: and I've also got this week, I'm going to have
- 33:06Speaker 1: to have Semno on my bench because of course they
- 33:08Speaker 1: play City at home and waiting tear what's happened with
- 33:11Speaker 1: Gabrielle And I've got griefs, So all of a sudden,
- 33:15Speaker 1: you know you want to go anyone anyone's got me,
- 33:19Speaker 1: I've already I've got col palm. Now anyone listening field
- 33:22Speaker 1: that can give me another wild card because I could
- 33:23Speaker 1: do with it. But there's if if posta Godlu says
- 33:27Speaker 1: to Lanky he's out all the way, it does me
- 33:29Speaker 1: a favor because I have to sell him. But yeah,
- 33:33Speaker 1: are you considering selling him?
- 33:35Speaker 3: Yeah, even if he's not injured.
- 33:37Speaker 2: Case, even if he's not injured, I think I might see.
- 33:40Speaker 2: But then I've also got dominic calvit Lewins.
- 33:43Speaker 3: Who do ill?
- 33:44Speaker 2: Who do I sell? It's difficult, isn't it? Because like
- 33:47Speaker 2: I I mean, in an ideal world, I'd sell Olie
- 33:50Speaker 2: Watkins before I sell the Lanky for the money because
- 33:53Speaker 2: of the money thing. Then that would allow me to
- 33:54Speaker 2: upgrade in the midfield. As it is, like I was
- 33:58Speaker 2: watching obviously the Spare game on on Wednesday evening, and
- 34:03Speaker 2: he did not look comfortable like the last twenty minutes
- 34:05Speaker 2: of that game. He's either absolutely exhausted and could just
- 34:08Speaker 2: couldn't run for that reason, or there's something wrong with
- 34:10Speaker 2: him because he didn't he wasn't comfortable running or on
- 34:14Speaker 2: the ball. Now we have got Richarlaison back, so that's,
- 34:18Speaker 2: you know, another fact that plays until we expect Son
- 34:20Speaker 2: to be back at the weekend. So even though Erna
- 34:22Speaker 2: went off injured, I would expect Son to be back there.
- 34:24Speaker 2: So there's like, there are options for Posta Coglo in
- 34:26Speaker 2: those positions. So if Slanke isn't one hundred percent, then
- 34:29Speaker 2: I could see him not risking him at the weekend.
- 34:32Speaker 2: So all eyes on that press conference to see what
- 34:34Speaker 2: Posta Cogli has to say about Slank. I could take
- 34:38Speaker 2: him down to a Whista or to a Kunya one
- 34:41Speaker 2: or the other. But actually Kunya is just a sideways step,
- 34:45Speaker 2: like there's no budget freeing up there at all. This
- 34:48Speaker 2: would save me zero point five so I could. I
- 34:50Speaker 2: could do that, but it's tough. It's tough to know
- 34:54Speaker 2: what to do because, like I said, in an ideal world,
- 34:57Speaker 2: these last couple of transfers that I make leading into
- 34:59Speaker 2: my work, I want them to be slightly fun, slightly
- 35:03Speaker 2: punty for the next couple of weeks kind of transfers
- 35:06Speaker 2: because they don't have to stay long term. They can
- 35:08Speaker 2: come in, they can stay for two weeks, and then
- 35:12Speaker 2: I can ship them off again when I hit the
- 35:15Speaker 2: world card button. So I would like to do some
- 35:18Speaker 2: more radical things than deal with Dom Selanky, Like I'd
- 35:22Speaker 2: ideally like to just be able to leave him there,
- 35:24Speaker 2: but as Joel says, the lack of shots on target
- 35:26Speaker 2: and just his positioning on the pitch, like he's not
- 35:32Speaker 2: looking like he's going to return either. And I'll be
- 35:35Speaker 2: at Spurs on Sunday again, so well sures. I'm taking
- 35:40Speaker 2: my little lady again, and she has been that this
- 35:42Speaker 2: will be her eleventh game at Spurs. She's never watched
- 35:44Speaker 2: anything other than a Spurs win, which is quite frankly
- 35:46Speaker 2: a miracle. So I'm taking her with me again in
- 35:49Speaker 2: the hope that that continues. I'll run of luck with her.
- 35:52Speaker 2: But Dom SILANKI like, it's a frustration because if I
- 35:55Speaker 2: don't have him, then I won't have a Spurs attacker.
- 35:59Speaker 2: I won't have a liver Poor attacker, I won't have
- 36:01Speaker 2: an Arsenal attacker, and I won't have a Chelsea attacker.
- 36:04Speaker 2: And I asked myself the same question.
- 36:09Speaker 3: A lot.
- 36:17Speaker 2: I've got Brentford, I've got a couple of Man City
- 36:19Speaker 2: Attackers now, but I don't. I don't know, like it's
- 36:22Speaker 2: it's a really tough decision because, as I say, what
- 36:25Speaker 2: I'd like to do is bere up some money from
- 36:27Speaker 2: Ollie Watkins and potentially from Trent and use that money
- 36:32Speaker 2: to have some fun, more fun punty picks in the
- 36:36Speaker 2: middle instead.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Okay, then let's wrap up this section by ranking our
- 36:40Speaker 1: budget forwards.
- 36:41Speaker 2: Jewels.
- 36:41Speaker 1: We completely understand your predicament, but if you were to
- 36:44Speaker 1: have a couple of budget forwards, let's say alongside Earling
- 36:47Speaker 1: Harlan because we've all said Life said, I'm tempted, but
- 36:49Speaker 1: I probably won't sell Harland because I was mentioned, I've
- 36:51Speaker 1: got a lot of other things to sort out. But
- 36:54Speaker 1: who would be the other two that would if you
- 36:56Speaker 1: were making changes? Would you say the best two budget
- 36:58Speaker 1: forwards at the moment?
- 36:59Speaker 3: So I for Wesa, I agree with some even ahead
- 37:02Speaker 3: of Kunia, not just because of the powers, but also
- 37:06Speaker 3: the five goals in six games that is played, the
- 37:07Speaker 3: fight that I mean, the injury was bad news for him,
- 37:10Speaker 3: but it's still fresher because he's played less than everybody
- 37:13Speaker 3: else too, even at the start of the season, and
- 37:15Speaker 3: because of that relationship he has with with Mbomo and
- 37:18Speaker 3: the fixture lists coming up for Brentford, so we sare
- 37:21Speaker 3: really ahead of Wood and well Back. And you know
- 37:23Speaker 3: as well for Wood and well Back that as soon
- 37:25Speaker 3: as you bring them in your team they're going to
- 37:27Speaker 3: stop scoring. You just know this is part of the
- 37:30Speaker 3: this incredible game. So I would go for Wisa first,
- 37:34Speaker 3: and then I'm not sure about Wood for the reasons
- 37:37Speaker 3: that we explain in terms of efficiency, I'm not I
- 37:40Speaker 3: don't know how long you can keep it up like that,
- 37:42Speaker 3: So I think Kunia Ostra and last, and if you
- 37:45Speaker 3: if you're really looking at budget and don't have much
- 37:48Speaker 3: money and not sure what to do, I'll go for
- 37:51Speaker 3: either one of the two world Spats because we've been
- 37:52Speaker 3: saying for weeks now they finally their games coming up
- 37:56Speaker 3: are really winnable for them and and I think they
- 37:58Speaker 3: would take a lot positive late they draw a brighton
- 38:02Speaker 3: which they deserved. So so yeah, I would go for
- 38:04Speaker 3: coun trying to laughten Sam, Yeah, I agree.
- 38:11Speaker 2: You want to wed you No, we should maybe give
- 38:14Speaker 2: a little shout out to him and as well who
- 38:16Speaker 2: has been returning well and you know, all right, nothing
- 38:19Speaker 2: last week, But I think he is in the conversation
- 38:22Speaker 2: as well.
- 38:23Speaker 1: But yeah, Sar and can you for me so just
- 38:25Speaker 1: a quick word because there'll be a lot of people
- 38:27Speaker 1: that still own Ollie Watkins as well. You mentioned there
- 38:30Speaker 1: that you would like to sell him to take money
- 38:32Speaker 1: out of him. How do you rate him at the
- 38:34Speaker 1: moment as an FBI asset or is it the fact
- 38:36Speaker 1: that there is so many cheap options that are performing
- 38:39Speaker 1: that maybe you should sell him to redistribute that bar
- 38:41Speaker 1: to it. Yeah, this isn't really a my decision to
- 38:45Speaker 1: take him out isn't really a reflection of.
- 38:49Speaker 2: It's not really about him, right form.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Yeah, that's kind of That was kind of my question
- 38:53Speaker 1: really because it's like we're not talking about him. Also
- 38:56Speaker 1: because I think we we take for granted the points
- 38:58Speaker 1: he provides, and if he doesn't provide points, we're like,
- 39:00Speaker 1: what's going on? Because we got used to it last season,
- 39:02Speaker 1: didn't we? Yeah, and he does seem to be ticking over,
- 39:04Speaker 1: But it feels like now because there are these other options,
- 39:07Speaker 1: and like I said, because there are cheaper options as well. Yeah,
- 39:10Speaker 1: he's a brilliant asset, but is he the best player
- 39:13Speaker 1: to have in that position now? Considering you can probably
- 39:15Speaker 1: get points for less money, and that is exactly it.
- 39:18Speaker 2: In a nutshell, that's it.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Because I'm sorry, I didn't mean to ask and answer
- 39:21Speaker 1: the question no, but you're right, because I think, like
- 39:24Speaker 1: with Oli Watkins, like I really like owning him. It's
- 39:28Speaker 1: something reassuring about having Oli Watkins in my team, Like
- 39:30Speaker 1: I enjoy having him there because I trust that he'll
- 39:33Speaker 1: return points. He has been frustrating, like last week was
- 39:38Speaker 1: so frustrating to have him man Rodgers there and then
- 39:41Speaker 1: them both blank.
- 39:42Speaker 2: That's annoying. And I think with Rogers you accept it
- 39:45Speaker 2: because at his price point, you can't expect a five
- 39:49Speaker 2: and a half million midfielder to return really good points
- 39:51Speaker 2: every week. But when you invest nine million in a forward,
- 39:54Speaker 2: you really do expect them to return points every week.
- 39:57Speaker 2: And so when he doesn't, I'm then and I'm looking
- 40:00Speaker 2: at all of those budget forwards that we've just talked about.
- 40:04Speaker 2: Even de Lap comes off, doesn't start, comes off the
- 40:06Speaker 2: bench and gets the goal in that one and he's
- 40:08Speaker 2: five point seven. You've got all of these assets who
- 40:11Speaker 2: are regularly returning and three million, and that's the way
- 40:15Speaker 2: you've kind of got to look at it is that
- 40:16Speaker 2: you're you know somewhere between three and two and a
- 40:18Speaker 2: half million that you free up by having one of
- 40:21Speaker 2: these guys over Ollie Watkins. And so it's really not
- 40:24Speaker 2: a conversation about Olie Watkins. It's more about if I
- 40:27Speaker 2: take Audie Watkins out and I go for one of these,
- 40:29Speaker 2: do I feel like I'm making a massive sacrifice in
- 40:32Speaker 2: my team? Not really? But also does it make a
- 40:35Speaker 2: massive difference to who I can have in the middle. Yes,
- 40:38Speaker 2: it does. It makes a massive massive difference. The thing
- 40:41Speaker 2: that's putting me off sightly doing it is that Askton
- 40:43Speaker 2: Veela play Spurs at the weekend. Yeah, but also Geors
- 40:50Speaker 2: like it puts me off selling him against Burs a
- 40:52Speaker 2: little bit because the Spurs defense. Are we going to
- 40:55Speaker 2: have Van der Venn? There? Can we? If we don't,
- 40:57Speaker 2: that changes the way that Spars play, Like we do
- 40:59Speaker 2: need hear that possibly press conference. So I'm just going
- 41:02Speaker 2: to wait a little bit before i make a decision.
- 41:04Speaker 2: But my plan this week was to probably take another
- 41:08Speaker 2: minus four because you know, it's just fun at the minute,
- 41:11Speaker 2: and like, let's just get some players that I trust
- 41:14Speaker 2: and I want to do well. Probably go for a
- 41:16Speaker 2: pun or a whistler I'm not sure which one yet,
- 41:18Speaker 2: and then use that money to upgrade one of my
- 41:20Speaker 2: midfielders as well to go for another premium there. Okay,
- 41:23Speaker 2: so plenty to think about. Lots of options.
- 41:26Speaker 1: Yeah, and who knows what Sam's going to do come
- 41:28Speaker 1: the deadline, because as we know, she's become.
- 41:30Speaker 3: Like you sorry, no, yeah, you played that. I reckon.
- 41:36Speaker 2: She told us the World.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Cards game week twelve and one week we're just going
- 41:38Speaker 1: to look at her team and it's and she's wild
- 41:40Speaker 1: card and not told us just switch.
- 41:43Speaker 2: Yeah, if we were to have recorded on Thursday morning,
- 41:46Speaker 2: we have had a very different conversation about all right,
- 41:48Speaker 2: I'll take the blame. We have to record on Wednesday
- 41:49Speaker 2: morning because of me.
- 41:52Speaker 3: I go.
- 41:52Speaker 1: Just a quick word on the suspension type wrote. By
- 41:54Speaker 1: the way, guys, Harry Clark was sent off Ripswich.
- 41:56Speaker 2: He was probably in Sam's team as well. He's banned.
- 41:59Speaker 1: Kudas remains and for game week ten Saliba does return
- 42:02Speaker 1: from suspension.
- 42:03Speaker 2: We'll have to wait and see.
- 42:04Speaker 1: By the way, Gabrielle an injury doubt, Juels, what's the
- 42:06Speaker 1: latest on him? Arteta seemed relatively positive.
- 42:09Speaker 3: Yay did they did? Let's see what he has to
- 42:12Speaker 3: say on Friday before the game the weekend. But as
- 42:15Speaker 3: we know with maybe take it with a little bitch
- 42:18Speaker 3: of sold but yeah, let's do it here.
- 42:20Speaker 1: Maybe have a decent defender on your bench just in
- 42:23Speaker 1: case if you are going to play them. There's actually
- 42:25Speaker 1: fifteen players currently on four yellow cards, by the way,
- 42:27Speaker 1: one that does mean they're one more away from suspension.
- 42:30Speaker 1: Some key FPL players in there as well. Not good
- 42:32Speaker 1: news for me because I've got two of these three
- 42:36Speaker 1: eight Nori great so meno great band. Then there's a
- 42:39Speaker 1: few others on there as well. Do you check it
- 42:41Speaker 1: out online? There are forty one players now on three
- 42:44Speaker 1: yellow cards. Definitely don't have time to list all forty
- 42:46Speaker 1: one of those, so just be mindful when you're bringing
- 42:48Speaker 1: in players how many yellow cards they have got, because
- 42:51Speaker 1: we're still at that point where if they get five
- 42:53Speaker 1: they will be banned. I'm having to rattle through it now.
- 42:55Speaker 1: Differential of the week. Everyone knows what differential with the
- 42:57Speaker 1: week is. I'm not going to explain it. Well do on, Sam,
- 43:00Speaker 1: This was your differential last week got ten points? Not
- 43:03Speaker 1: well done for you, George Strand, wasn't it this week
- 43:08Speaker 1: you were going to take your T shirt off or
- 43:09Speaker 1: something or that.
- 43:10Speaker 3: I can't remember.
- 43:11Speaker 2: How nobody knows thing about anticipation, wasn't it?
- 43:15Speaker 1: It was about this point in the pod where you
- 43:17Speaker 1: said it, but keep that T shirt on because Strand
- 43:19Speaker 1: last got one point.
- 43:21Speaker 2: Where are you going with this week? Sam, You've got
- 43:23Speaker 2: the most, not not you.
- 43:24Speaker 1: Geels was about to speak, but I was going to
- 43:27Speaker 1: say something else. But it's fine if it's if it's good.
- 43:32Speaker 2: Friends to take something else off from you. That's what
- 43:34Speaker 2: I thought. I was tramling someone quickly from the right,
- 43:38Speaker 2: in which case I'm going a bit No. You probably
- 43:41Speaker 2: won't like this because he's a bit more expensive. I'm
- 43:42Speaker 2: going with Bruno Fernandez. This is.
- 43:47Speaker 1: Yes, thank you ver Manchester United haven't been in great form,
- 43:51Speaker 1: so I'm happy with that. It's not like flicking a
- 43:52Speaker 1: city player, is it your city?
- 43:54Speaker 2: Like Champions?
- 43:57Speaker 1: And also when she pricked Foden, he was Premier League
- 44:02Speaker 1: Player of the Year last year.
- 44:04Speaker 2: I'm to Paul.
- 44:05Speaker 3: Champions from that long ago.
- 44:09Speaker 2: How much is he owned by Sam? Six point six okay,
- 44:12Speaker 2: and he's going to cost you eight point two million? Now.
- 44:14Speaker 2: I wrote this before the game last night, so I prepped,
- 44:18Speaker 2: prepped on Wednesday Wednesday lunchtime. We would expect some new
- 44:21Speaker 2: manager bounce and so that's why I'm going there. As
- 44:25Speaker 2: Kelsey mentioned at the top, he had five of Manchester
- 44:28Speaker 2: United's eighteen goals attempts on goal in the game Week nine,
- 44:31Speaker 2: That was more than any United player. He also created
- 44:34Speaker 2: three chances in that one. He has had twenty eight
- 44:36Speaker 2: attempts on goals so far this season. Only four midfielders
- 44:39Speaker 2: in the game Semnoes, Johnson and Palmer have had more
- 44:42Speaker 2: than that. He's also created eleven chances, but five of
- 44:46Speaker 2: those have been big chances. He's taken eleven corners. He's
- 44:48Speaker 2: had five attention set pieces. He's also coming up against
- 44:51Speaker 2: the Chelsea side who don't travel to Manchester United very
- 44:54Speaker 2: well and have had no clean sheets in their last
- 44:56Speaker 2: four matches. So I would expect to see some new
- 44:58Speaker 2: manager bounce at home in front of the old trap
- 45:03Speaker 2: of faithful. So yeah, Bruno Fernandez, I think I am
- 45:08Speaker 2: slightly tempted to go if I do the walkings down
- 45:11Speaker 2: to go with him in midfield, just as a bit
- 45:13Speaker 2: of a punp for the next couple of weeks.
- 45:15Speaker 1: Interesting, Yeah, you've got your World card, haven't you, So
- 45:18Speaker 1: it does go wrong, you can sort out pretty quickly.
- 45:20Speaker 3: And like me, Jeeles, can I name a superstar as well?
- 45:23Speaker 3: Or because differential should not be over Sorry, So I
- 45:29Speaker 3: was going to go so Georgian no Ruter. I think
- 45:30Speaker 3: he's an amazing form for Brighton, but they've got a
- 45:32Speaker 3: very tough schedule. We said that I was going to
- 45:34Speaker 3: go for Jeo Philipe Mattetta Paris wearing bread also so
- 45:37Speaker 3: I could sing just one day boom boom boom in
- 45:40Speaker 3: the room. No better time. He's singing Bird's song for ages.
- 45:49Speaker 1: It's pitch black where he is. You've just woken up everyone.
- 45:51Speaker 3: That what I'm just saying. Sorry, So I wanted, but
- 45:54Speaker 3: I don't want to jinx him because he's my body
- 45:56Speaker 3: as right, So I go for the Kuzewski because I
- 45:58Speaker 3: think he's right from and to trigger some as well.
- 46:02Speaker 3: Three point five percent owns so very much lower than
- 46:05Speaker 3: a Bruno f announced for example.
- 46:07Speaker 2: You've picked a superstar Swedish one.
- 46:09Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, yeah, we can also sing where he's got
- 46:12Speaker 3: a great song for himself as well. He's one three million,
- 46:15Speaker 3: so you know, a bit expensive, but to return two
- 46:20Speaker 3: amazing returns in his last four eleven and nine points
- 46:22Speaker 3: holds each time. I think that more central position in
- 46:25Speaker 3: a way suits him so much, and he's got a
- 46:27Speaker 3: great engine. He was I think player of the Man
- 46:30Speaker 3: of the City. Yeah, in midweek in the League Cup.
- 46:33Speaker 3: So I think he's in great form. And because of
- 46:37Speaker 3: the struggle that we mentioned for Dominic Sto Lanke for example,
- 46:40Speaker 3: and the way Spurs are playing, I think there's much
- 46:42Speaker 3: more to come from koluzevs Kiss. So if you've got
- 46:45Speaker 3: that money, I think, uh, this is the right time
- 46:48Speaker 3: to bring him into your team.
- 46:50Speaker 2: Okay, let's wrestle three transfers and captains. Sam, You're gonna
- 46:53Speaker 2: be honest. I'm always honest, Kelly, are you? Yes, Joe's
- 46:58Speaker 2: always My plan this week was to do Olli Watkins
- 47:02Speaker 2: down to probably I'm probably going to double up on Brumford.
- 47:05Speaker 2: I'm probably gonna go for for for so I think
- 47:08Speaker 2: that's the move I'll make, and then probably use that
- 47:11Speaker 2: money in midfield to upgrade. At the moment, Dright McNeil's flagged,
- 47:17Speaker 2: so keeping an eye on that one. Also going to
- 47:19Speaker 2: keep an eye what happens with Don Slankey, because obviously
- 47:21Speaker 2: if he's out as well, then that might change my plans.
- 47:24Speaker 2: But if he's out, probably just do the sideways sideways
- 47:27Speaker 2: move over to Twista, so I'll keep an eye on it.
- 47:30Speaker 2: But whitter him feels like the move I'm going to make,
- 47:32Speaker 2: Jee what about you?
- 47:33Speaker 3: So the goalkeeper situation and the painter I need to
- 47:39Speaker 3: change for somebody, And then I think I might stick
- 47:45Speaker 3: with Kaad's a little bit longer because I really like
- 47:47Speaker 3: him and I don't want to be without an Arsenal attacker.
- 47:50Speaker 3: And Sam, no no no, but I mean you're you're
- 47:54Speaker 3: at peace with it, so it's fine, but I'm not
- 47:56Speaker 3: sure I would be so. And then the funder ven
- 47:59Speaker 3: is out, and also have like I've had enough of
- 48:02Speaker 3: suppose defenders already.
- 48:05Speaker 2: This is a lesson to you for not doing.
- 48:10Speaker 3: You up. He worked, He worked, but no probably to
- 48:13Speaker 3: who by the way, I think I've failed to mention earlier.
- 48:16Speaker 3: But I know he's also probably born and so it
- 48:18Speaker 3: makes a lot of sense.
- 48:19Speaker 2: You've mentioned it before. Don't worry, Captain c Geors.
- 48:22Speaker 3: You've got to be.
- 48:23Speaker 1: Captain my sala, haven't you. Surely surely you own mos
- 48:27Speaker 1: Salah this week? Surely him if you're myself and Sam
- 48:31Speaker 1: and wish we own my Salah.
- 48:32Speaker 2: Who do we captain?
- 48:33Speaker 3: Sam?
- 48:34Speaker 2: I am going Harlan again?
- 48:36Speaker 3: Yeah, triple captain him.
- 48:37Speaker 2: Maybe can't Jewls.
- 48:40Speaker 3: With triple captain Salah?
- 48:42Speaker 2: You could?
- 48:42Speaker 3: Why not? No? No?
- 48:45Speaker 2: Why not? Just to know? So you're going to captain Harland? Yeah?
- 48:49Speaker 2: Who are the other options this week? Sam?
- 48:51Speaker 3: J Reckon?
- 48:51Speaker 2: Who?
- 48:52Speaker 3: Well?
- 48:53Speaker 2: The thing is I think with the other options they
- 48:54Speaker 2: were kind of like the differential players, aren't they. So
- 48:57Speaker 2: if you want to go a bit out there, I mean,
- 48:58Speaker 2: I think I think Salah is the obvious captaincy choice
- 49:02Speaker 2: this week if you have him, I think if you don't,
- 49:05Speaker 2: then I don't hate the captain again this week. I
- 49:09Speaker 2: know it's in a way match against Fulham, but I
- 49:11Speaker 2: don't hate that otherwise. I think it puts me off
- 49:16Speaker 2: because it's the lunchtime kickoff, but otherwise SOCCA is probably
- 49:19Speaker 2: in the conversation. I wouldn't do it because it's lunchtime,
- 49:21Speaker 2: but Zaka has got to be in that conversation as well.
- 49:24Speaker 1: Okay, that does wrap up this week's probably got through
- 49:26Speaker 1: that last bit pretty quickly, even if we did get
- 49:28Speaker 1: a Jewels song in.
- 49:29Speaker 2: There as well. Okay, okay, okay, what was the other
- 49:34Speaker 2: song you said song jeelsim, gimmey agin. We got some
- 49:42Speaker 2: singing as well.
- 49:43Speaker 1: Yes, Sam, you just did that on a podcast record
- 49:47Speaker 1: which is going to be on everywhere, and.
- 49:50Speaker 2: She's going it's in this podcast. A remind you of.
- 49:58Speaker 2: Deadline is eleven am on Saturday.
- 49:59Speaker 1: That's ninety minutes oead of Newcastle versus Arsenal Off the bench.
- 50:02Speaker 1: We'll be back on Tuesday. Maybe Janny and Prass will
- 50:05Speaker 1: be singing as well. Hopefully they'll just be talking you
- 50:06Speaker 1: through the game week ten talking points. Sam will be
- 50:09Speaker 1: back singing with me on the day. As always, please
- 50:12Speaker 1: leave us a rates and review if it's nice. Thank
- 50:14Speaker 1: you very much guys for listening. As always, the better
- 50:16Speaker 1: luck and we'll be back singing and everything next week.
- 50:18Speaker 2: By bye.
