- 4:36Speaker 1: I can see that would could be the case that

- 6:47Speaker 1: Not on his airplanes. I took the one helicopter ride.
- 6:51Speaker 1: That was it? Question? And one was that? Answer? That
- 6:55Speaker 1: was when I would go for a visit construction his
- 6:57Speaker 1: construction project the one time and numerous victims have alleged
- 7:01Speaker 1: that young victims were forced to carry out sex acts,
- 7:05Speaker 1: and mister Epstein and his guest conducted group sex with
- 7:08Speaker 1: girls on mister Epstein's private aircraft. It's even nicknamed the
- 7:12Speaker 1: Lolita Express. Are you familiar with any of these allegations?
- 7:17Speaker 1: Answer only after twenty nineteen, mister Tolan. Okay, we'll end
- 7:23Speaker 1: our hour right here. We'll go off the record. Question.
- 7:27Speaker 1: We'll go back on the record. Now. Groff is being
- 7:30Speaker 1: questioned by redacted. Question. Miss Groff, I'd like to ask
- 7:34Speaker 1: you a few more questions about the offices that you
- 7:36Speaker 1: worked in. I know we talked about this earlier, but
- 7:38Speaker 1: I would like to clarify some things. So, for the
- 7:41Speaker 1: office on four fifty seven Madison Avenue, you worked there
- 7:44Speaker 1: from two thousand and one to two thousand and nine.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Correct answer, yes, question, And your office was next to
- 7:50Speaker 1: mister Epstein's, but you wouldn't necessarily see people come in
- 7:53Speaker 1: and out because the door your office door was sometimes closed.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Correct answer. That is correct, as well as there was
- 7:59Speaker 1: a door prior to getting to my office that would
- 8:02Speaker 1: go to his office. Question. Got it? Starting in two
- 8:05Speaker 1: thousand and nine, you worked out of an apartment at
- 8:07Speaker 1: three oh one E sixty sixth Street. Is that correct? Answer? Yes, question,
- 8:12Speaker 1: and you were there from two thousand and nine, you
- 8:14Speaker 1: think twenty eleven or twenty eleven. Answer that sounds right. Yes.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Question did mister Epstein ever work out of three oh
- 8:22Speaker 1: one East sixty sixth Street Answer no, question. And then
- 8:25Speaker 1: in twenty twelve you went to a building on Lexington
- 8:29Speaker 1: Is that correct? Answer? Yes? Question do you know the
- 8:32Speaker 1: address of that building? Answer? I think it was five
- 8:35Speaker 1: seventy five Lexington. Question and you were there until twenty
- 8:39Speaker 1: thirteen when you started working out of his home at
- 8:42Speaker 1: nine e seventy first Street correct answer, yes, I believe
- 8:46Speaker 1: those are around the proper dates twenty thirteen, twenty fourteen. Question,
- 8:50Speaker 1: And mister Epstein worked at the Lexington office is that right? Answer? No?
- 8:54Speaker 1: Never question? So who was at the Lexington office? Answer? Sure,
- 8:59Speaker 1: so the accountant Rich, the attorney, Darren Endyke, It was
- 9:03Speaker 1: Harry Beller, the trader redacted, the assistant to the accountant,
- 9:07Speaker 1: and that was who was there at first, and then
- 9:09Speaker 1: Henry Harry Beller left and we had an assistant to
- 9:12Speaker 1: mister Endyke. Question, so the only two properties that you
- 9:16Speaker 1: worked at that mister Epstein also worked at were the
- 9:18Speaker 1: first one, four fifty seven Madison Avenue and then the
- 9:22Speaker 1: last one, nine East seventy first Street, correct answer correct yes. Question.
- 9:28Speaker 1: I'd like to ask you a few questions about Leon Black.

- 9:33Speaker 1: had been in relationships with mister Black? Answer no question.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Were you aware of mister Epstein being involved in negotiation
- 9:42Speaker 1: of non disclosure agreements with women who had been in
- 9:44Speaker 1: relationships with mister Black? Answer no question. To your knowledge,
- 9:49Speaker 1: how many times did mister Black visit mister Epstein's island?
- 9:52Speaker 1: Answer island. I didn't know he did visit mister Epstein's island.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Question okay, I'd like to ask you some questions about
- 9:59Speaker 1: just day. To your knowledge, how many times did mister

- 10:07Speaker 1: Question are you aware of mister Staley ever visiting Zoro Ranch? Answer?
- 10:11Speaker 1: I am not question. Were you ever aware of mister
- 10:14Speaker 1: Staley having sex with a member of mister Epstein's staff?
- 10:18Speaker 1: Answer no question. Ms Groff, we have asked you a
- 10:21Speaker 1: lot of questions today about specific people. Is there anyone
- 10:25Speaker 1: that we have not asked about that you have knowledge
- 10:27Speaker 1: of being involved in any of mister Epstein's crimes? Answer
- 10:31Speaker 1: no question. Is there anyone that you think the Committee
- 10:35Speaker 1: should talk to for its investigation to get a better
- 10:37Speaker 1: sense of mister Epstein's crimes and is sex trafficking? Answer?
- 10:41Speaker 1: Uh huh, I don't think so. I mean maybe Alan Dershowitz.
- 10:45Speaker 1: I don't know if you can though, because he is
- 10:46Speaker 1: an attorney. I don't know. Question. Why do you say
- 10:49Speaker 1: Dershowitz answer because he was his attorney? Question anyone else? Answer?
- 10:54Speaker 1: No question. I'd like to ask you some questions about
- 10:57Speaker 1: the investigation into mister Epstein that started in two thousand
- 11:00Speaker 1: and five. You talked about this earlier, and you said
- 11:03Speaker 1: you spoke to law enforcement in the fall of two
- 11:06Speaker 1: thousand and seven. Is that correct? Answer? I think it
- 11:08Speaker 1: was August of two thousand and seven, Is that right? Yes? Question?
- 11:12Speaker 1: And you said when the FBI agents came to your home,
- 11:15Speaker 1: you went upstairs and then you contacted Darren Endyck. Correct answer, yes, Groff.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Minority Exhibit H has been introduced. I would like to
- 11:27Speaker 1: introduce as minority Exhibit H, this plea proffer from the
- 11:30Speaker 1: United States versus Jeffrey Epstein, which was released by the
- 11:33Speaker 1: Department of Justice in January of this year. The Bates
- 11:37Speaker 1: number is EFTA zero zero two one three three sixty nine.
- 11:42Speaker 1: It's an excerpt of a larger document. So the relevant
- 11:46Speaker 1: pages state that you said on August twenty first, two
- 11:49Speaker 1: thousand and seven, FBI agents went to your home to
- 11:52Speaker 1: speak with you about mister Epstein. The document says that
- 11:55Speaker 1: after the FBI agents arrived, you excused yourself to go
- 11:58Speaker 1: upstairs and then called mister Epstein. The document says that
- 12:02Speaker 1: mister Epstein quote instructed Miss Groff not to speak with
- 12:05Speaker 1: the agents. Is the plea proffer correct answer? I believe
- 12:09Speaker 1: it is. I don't know how they would know that.
- 12:12Speaker 1: I really believe that I called mister Endyke. I wouldn't
- 12:15Speaker 1: call mister Epstein question. The document then says that mister
- 12:20Speaker 1: Epstein quote applied pressure to keep Miss Groff from complying
- 12:23Speaker 1: with the Grand Jerry subpoena that the agents had served
- 12:26Speaker 1: on her, and that mister Epstein quote warned Miss Groff
- 12:29Speaker 1: against turning over documents and electronic evidence were responsive of
- 12:33Speaker 1: the subpoena, and pressured her to delay her appearance before
- 12:36Speaker 1: the federal grand jury in the Southern District of Florida.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Do you have any memory of mister Epstein applying pressure
- 12:43Speaker 1: to keep you from complying with the subpoena or warning
- 12:46Speaker 1: you against turning over documents and evidence. Answer none, No,
- 12:52Speaker 1: All right, folks, we're gonna wrap up right here, and
- 12:54Speaker 1: in the next episode dealing with the topic, we're gonna
- 12:56Speaker 1: pick up where we left off all the information that
- 12:59Speaker 1: goes but if this episode can be found in the
- 13:02Speaker 1: description box.
