- 0:01Speaker 1: Yo, what did it do? After seventy seven technical difficulties,
- 0:05Speaker 1: we back again for ground to show episode one and
- 0:09Speaker 1: lem more or less your boy Joe for me and
- 0:13Speaker 1: Quincy Jamal what it do? Babies?
- 0:18Speaker 2: Much spin? Trying to get over this this cold or
- 0:21Speaker 2: whatever this is?
- 0:25Speaker 1: Fighting it? Huh? Man? You got that that bully from
- 0:29Speaker 1: the Musinex commercials just setting up corners in your body,
- 0:33Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, blocks like and you're small
- 0:36Speaker 1: intestine and I need to get that that that musin
- 0:40Speaker 1: next punch buddy right in the face.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Two weeks ago, definitely took me out for a few days.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Yo. It's crazy, like how disrespectful that muson next you
- 0:51Speaker 1: little cartoon is because it's like there's people that look
- 0:54Speaker 1: like that. You know, you just made that that like
- 0:58Speaker 1: represented of a German, Yeah, dirty germ, like slimy skis
- 1:03Speaker 1: ball and it's just like like everyday American bills, you
- 1:07Speaker 1: know what I mean. It looks like his name was Frank, Yeah,
- 1:12Speaker 1: Frank the Tank for sure, his nickname is the Tank.
- 1:16Speaker 1: But yeah, man, So I went like on a rabbit
- 1:22Speaker 1: hole or like a couple of different random things. So
- 1:27Speaker 1: let's start with like a little bit lighthearted one. Have
- 1:29Speaker 1: y'all seen the chill guy memes. I've haven't seen that.
- 1:33Speaker 1: It might be it might be a little more in
- 1:35Speaker 1: uh TikTok than like Instagram and stuff. But it's a
- 1:39Speaker 1: little caricature of a guy with his hands in his
- 1:42Speaker 1: pocket kind of looks like Arthur. From what I understand,
- 1:45Speaker 1: it's like an original drawing of a guy of some
- 1:48Speaker 1: artists that he just shared it, like, oh, this is
- 1:50Speaker 1: you know, this character that I made. He's just a
- 1:52Speaker 1: chill guy, you know what I mean.
- 1:54Speaker 3: I've seen it going around and then.
- 1:56Speaker 1: There's like a really like calming type of like music
- 1:59Speaker 1: that they put behind it. It's like just like a
- 2:02Speaker 1: little simple riff that's really just lighthearted and airy, and
- 2:05Speaker 1: he has like kind of like nature sounds in it.
- 2:08Speaker 1: And the idea of it is like they'll just write
- 2:11Speaker 1: something like when my girl gets mad at me because
- 2:14Speaker 1: I've been in the bathroom for an hour, but I'm
- 2:16Speaker 1: just a chill guy with stomach problems. Like it's just
- 2:20Speaker 1: mad simple stuff like that, like when I've been waiting,
- 2:23Speaker 1: you know, for my girl for an hour and she's
- 2:24Speaker 1: rushing me now to put my shoes on, but I'm
- 2:26Speaker 1: just a chill guy, Like it's some bro it like
- 2:30Speaker 1: hit like a little corner of like the Internet, and
- 2:33Speaker 1: like they just got a whole bunch of them and
- 2:35Speaker 1: it was just like so funny to me, and the
- 2:38Speaker 1: way it caught on it And it's so funny because
- 2:40Speaker 1: even one of them was like, when you send it
- 2:42Speaker 1: to one of your homies and he says he don't
- 2:44Speaker 1: get it, but it's because he's not a chill guy.
- 2:48Speaker 1: It's just funny, like how the little pockets of the Internet,
- 2:50Speaker 1: like you find these little videos and these things, and
- 2:53Speaker 1: like so many you read the comments, and so many
- 2:55Speaker 1: people are like relating and reacting to it, and then
- 2:58Speaker 1: there's like other people that are like, I don't get this.
- 3:00Speaker 1: This is so annoying and stupid, you know what I mean.
- 3:03Speaker 1: It's like crazy, how like how similar people are, but
- 3:07Speaker 1: then it's like they're so different too, Like that rule
- 3:12Speaker 1: of like six people like it, six people don't, the
- 3:15Speaker 1: other four don't care about It's something along those lines.
- 3:17Speaker 1: But it's just basically that idea, Like the way those
- 3:21Speaker 1: numbers always add up is just so interesting to me.
- 3:24Speaker 2: It's funny because I just googled the chill guy meme
- 3:27Speaker 2: and it came up, and I've seen people dropping the
- 3:29Speaker 2: little doll thing in the chats like randomly, so it's funny,
- 3:32Speaker 2: Like I had no idea that that was what that was.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just the chill guy, you know what I mean?
- 3:38Speaker 1: And yeah, I seen I seen one. The one that
- 3:41Speaker 1: I the one that I reposted was the chill Guy.
- 3:44Speaker 1: And then they made like a chill Girl version and
- 3:47Speaker 1: then it was like it was like when people ask
- 3:50Speaker 1: why me and my wife don't like to go out,
- 3:52Speaker 1: but we're just chill guys that like to stay home.
- 3:55Speaker 2: That was you gotta sit me that on. That's definitely
- 3:58Speaker 2: being a robin.
- 4:01Speaker 1: But yeah, man, So yeah, that's the chill Guy meme. Man,
- 4:05Speaker 1: if you ever get a moment just to go down
- 4:07Speaker 1: that rabbit hole, it's a nice it's a nice little
- 4:10Speaker 1: heart warming trend, you know what I mean. So shout
- 4:12Speaker 1: out to the chill Guy meme. Shining the light in
- 4:15Speaker 1: the Internet at a dark time when.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Your team let lets you down, but you're just a
- 4:20Speaker 2: chill guy. So you watch them again next Sunday.
- 4:25Speaker 1: The chill Guy.
- 4:26Speaker 2: It was the Bears mean with the meme with the
- 4:29Speaker 2: Bears cap.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, man. And another thing I've been seeing a
- 4:36Speaker 1: lot now is all these athletes doing the Trump dance. Yeah,
- 4:41Speaker 1: in the end zone after they went to fights. It's like, bro,
- 4:46Speaker 1: after after the election, the tone is just going like
- 4:49Speaker 1: everybody's like, oh so we're all out now, right, Like
- 4:53Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, Like, let's just let's just
- 4:55Speaker 1: ride with it.
- 4:57Speaker 3: It's really died down on social media a little bit.
- 5:00Speaker 1: No, it definitely has. I think something that I've been
- 5:04Speaker 1: hearing a lot, that a lot of pundits and people
- 5:06Speaker 1: have been talking about, is just how much the Democratic
- 5:11Speaker 1: Party has just been failing as a whole in recent
- 5:14Speaker 1: years and them having to kind of like look and
- 5:18Speaker 1: analyze and kind of restructure how they're going to be
- 5:21Speaker 1: moving forward. And I definitely agree with that just from
- 5:26Speaker 1: the outside looking in, like looking at both sides, looking
- 5:29Speaker 1: at how things have been going. It was definitely a
- 5:31Speaker 1: big miscalculation and they definitely got to retool the deck
- 5:35Speaker 1: because this I feel like like a lot of people
- 5:39Speaker 1: are just tired of feeling like they're supposed to worry
- 5:44Speaker 1: about stuff that they didn't have to worry about before
- 5:48Speaker 1: when their basic needs aren't being met, you know what
- 5:50Speaker 1: I mean. And I feel like that's what resonated with
- 5:53Speaker 1: most people and kind of just took over like in
- 5:56Speaker 1: a big swell.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Yeah. I know that. The big part of that too
- 6:03Speaker 2: is kind of just the assumption that people were going
- 6:07Speaker 2: to just ride against Trump, you know what I mean,
- 6:09Speaker 2: Like it seemed like that was almost.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Like buddy but Trump waves. Yeah, they thought that they
- 6:14Speaker 1: could ride that, like to the wheels fall off type thing.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Yeah, because you know, people were saying from before Kamala
- 6:21Speaker 2: was the primary candidate that you know, hey, you know,
- 6:24Speaker 2: we should have a what do you call it when
- 6:26Speaker 2: you have like a bunch of representatives come out and speak.
- 6:28Speaker 2: I can't remember.
- 6:30Speaker 1: We haven't hadway so oh yeah, the primary, the primary, yeah, primary.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Yeah, and but we didn't have that, you know what
- 6:36Speaker 2: I mean. They were just like, we're gonna give it
- 6:37Speaker 2: to old Joe and then that's when you know, he
- 6:40Speaker 2: dropped off, and it's like, oh, we're gonna give it
- 6:41Speaker 2: to Kamala, y'all, not giving people nobody to really root
- 6:45Speaker 2: for it, you know what I'm saying.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Yep, definitely, And yeah, it's it's just funny how things
- 6:52Speaker 1: are kind of shaping out with uh that kind of landscape,
- 6:57Speaker 1: and uh it's gonna be interesting to see how how
- 6:59Speaker 1: would all kind of like just to fall out of
- 7:01Speaker 1: everything and how things change. And you know, there's a
- 7:04Speaker 1: lot of active plans, you know, for the beginning of
- 7:08Speaker 1: the new term for Trump, so it's gonna definitely be
- 7:12Speaker 1: a lot of movement and change going on, like from
- 7:14Speaker 1: every level there. Yeah, and I thought it was, well,
- 7:19Speaker 1: not interesting because we know why because vincecmoc mann is
- 7:22Speaker 1: going through all these allegations and stuff. But they dropped
- 7:24Speaker 1: today basically like they leaked that they're separated, you know
- 7:29Speaker 1: what I mean, Like they're not divorced yet, but they're separated.
- 7:33Speaker 1: It was like they announced that and right away it
- 7:35Speaker 1: was like, hey, just soe y'all know she's not standing
- 7:37Speaker 1: behind this dude. That it was kind of interesting even
- 7:41Speaker 1: though there's like a rumor going around that Trump, i mean,
- 7:45Speaker 1: Vince wick Man donated a lot of Trump and was
- 7:47Speaker 1: involved in the campaign with the hopes that when Trump
- 7:51Speaker 1: gets in the office he can help him with the
- 7:53Speaker 1: case that he has and all those legal issues. That's
- 7:57Speaker 1: just like a little rumor going around, but definitely was
- 7:59Speaker 1: interesting with the way things have been developing.
- 8:02Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I mean, Somemer posted and there was a
- 8:08Speaker 4: picture of Donald Trump and then the McMahon and it said,
- 8:12Speaker 4: one of these the people in this picture got Stone
- 8:15Speaker 4: close stunned.
- 8:20Speaker 1: He's a w W Hall of Famer too. He is
- 8:22Speaker 1: the first w W Hall of Famer to be President Trump.
- 8:26Speaker 3: They made him.
- 8:27Speaker 1: He got inducted into the w W Hall of Fame.
- 8:30Speaker 2: That's crazy. You know, this man is living the greatest life.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Yeah. One thing, one thing you can't like dispute, regardless
- 8:40Speaker 1: of how you feel about him, when he says that
- 8:42Speaker 1: he's like the embodiment of the American dream and stuff like,
- 8:45Speaker 1: he ain't lying, bro, because he really took this thing
- 8:48Speaker 1: by the throat and became the president.
- 8:50Speaker 3: Bro.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Like, that's that's a literal representation of what you could
- 8:54Speaker 1: do in America.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Bro, without any politics experience. Which is the craziest part
- 8:59Speaker 2: about it. It's like there's people that literally, you know,
- 9:03Speaker 2: their whole lives for that one opportunity. And this man said, yeah, I.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Mean, look at Joe Biden.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Bro.
- 9:09Speaker 1: He was aspiring to be president and he kept trying
- 9:12Speaker 1: until he was trying, bro Like, just kept going, kept going,
- 9:16Speaker 1: kept going. This dude did not give up, bro, And
- 9:18Speaker 1: it took him a whole life of political service to
- 9:21Speaker 1: get it, and it was even on some like random
- 9:23Speaker 1: stuff that he you know what I mean, Like it
- 9:25Speaker 1: was like kind of circumstantial that he even got it.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you know what I mean. It's just I
- 9:29Speaker 2: feel like our last three presidencies have just been in
- 9:33Speaker 2: response from the ones prior. You know what I mean.
- 9:36Speaker 2: It was, It's not like we're elected.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Yeah, it's been a back and forth the last like
- 9:41Speaker 1: I would say, like twenty years or so, it's just
- 9:44Speaker 1: been a flipping back and forth definitely. But yeah, man,
- 9:49Speaker 1: I wanted to get into a little bit of the
- 9:51Speaker 1: Jake Paul fight because you mentioned something about it, Quincy
- 9:54Speaker 1: that kind of got my brain going a little bit.
- 9:57Speaker 1: But you were seeing some stuff online that people were
- 10:00Speaker 1: talking about if it was rigged or not.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I mean there was a lot of you know, obviously,
- 10:04Speaker 2: you know with everything, there's always the conspiracies nowadays, people
- 10:07Speaker 2: always overanalyzing stuff. But you know, the thing that I
- 10:10Speaker 2: personally found interesting, Like, don't get me wrong, you know,
- 10:13Speaker 2: with Mike Mike Tyson being up in age, of course,
- 10:16Speaker 2: you know I didn't expect him to to not gas out,
- 10:20Speaker 2: you know what I mean, I expected that to happen.
- 10:23Speaker 2: But I will say that the Mike Tyson that we
- 10:25Speaker 2: saw in the you know, the videos to hype the
- 10:30Speaker 2: fight up the trailers was not the Mike Tyson we
- 10:32Speaker 2: saw in that ring. Yeah, and I'm not saying that
- 10:36Speaker 2: I'm not taking anything away from Jake Paul because of course,
- 10:39Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. He's he can move a
- 10:41Speaker 2: lot faster than the people that Mike's training with, you
- 10:44Speaker 2: know what I'm saying, So it's not like he's hitting
- 10:46Speaker 2: a sitting target. But at the same time, like it
- 10:49Speaker 2: just wasn't the same Mike Tyson that we were watching
- 10:52Speaker 2: in those videos hype in the fight Fighter.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I did see some of that, and I've seen
- 10:59Speaker 1: some like little videos that they've slow mode or red
- 11:02Speaker 1: lips and stuff. They're like making assumptions off that. There's
- 11:06Speaker 1: honestly a lot of ways you could go about dissecting
- 11:10Speaker 1: that because there's just so many angles. And I wouldn't
- 11:13Speaker 1: be surprised if it was you know, they were saying
- 11:15Speaker 1: supposedly there was a clause no uppercuts, you know what
- 11:18Speaker 1: I mean, Like basically it was just it was just
- 11:20Speaker 1: an exhibition masquerading a regular bout. Yeah, you know what
- 11:24Speaker 1: I mean, which was another thing, like them even sanctioning
- 11:28Speaker 1: this fight the way they did was already from the beginning,
- 11:30Speaker 1: like are y'all serious right now? Like this is kind
- 11:33Speaker 1: of crazy, especially with what Mike Tyson just went through,
- 11:35Speaker 1: how they approved it even after that. Yeah, it doesn't
- 11:39Speaker 1: make any sense, bro, But it definitely got me thinking,
- 11:43Speaker 1: just from the point of view of like, Okay, the
- 11:45Speaker 1: situation happened the way it did, Jake Paul won, What next? Like,
- 11:51Speaker 1: what is he really trying to do? Obviously, if them
- 11:54Speaker 1: big money fights are there, you're gonna go for the
- 11:56Speaker 1: big money. Why fight Joe Schmoe that has an average
- 12:03Speaker 1: professional record but probably could beat you just because he
- 12:06Speaker 1: has the experience in a real way. Why fight him
- 12:10Speaker 1: for you know, little bit amount of money destroy your
- 12:14Speaker 1: reputation when you can do the things that he's been doing,
- 12:17Speaker 1: you know, making millions and millions of dollars in these fights,
- 12:21Speaker 1: the revenue that he's generating for the fighters, the paydays
- 12:24Speaker 1: that he's given the fighters, the look that he's given
- 12:27Speaker 1: the fighters that he's putting on his cards, Like I
- 12:30Speaker 1: can understand him just continuing this path and never really
- 12:35Speaker 1: quote unquote proving that he's a real boxer, because I
- 12:39Speaker 1: mean it's kind of like you can go and do
- 12:43Speaker 1: the real, real thing and have a bad time and
- 12:46Speaker 1: probably not last as long, or you can do it
- 12:49Speaker 1: this way and you know, take it to a billion dollars.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Yeah, facts, I agree with that. I think that. But
- 12:57Speaker 2: it's also it kind of goes to the same point
- 13:01Speaker 2: that you know, people always complain about stuff, but then
- 13:05Speaker 2: entertain it, you know what I mean. It's like, on
- 13:08Speaker 2: one side, we're complaining, like, man, why is he fighting
- 13:10Speaker 2: a real fighter? Man? Blah blah blah blah blah. But
- 13:13Speaker 2: then at the same time we're entertaining it. So it's
- 13:17Speaker 2: kind of you know what I mean, It's like, what
- 13:18Speaker 2: do you expect him to do? You feel me like,
- 13:20Speaker 2: I wouldn't fight a real fighter if you're going to
- 13:22Speaker 2: entertain me fighting whoever? Anyways, you know, why would I
- 13:26Speaker 2: go that route?
- 13:27Speaker 1: And the funny thing is, if you heard Jake Paul
- 13:30Speaker 1: versus Billy Johnson this Saturday, nobody's paying a dollar even
- 13:34Speaker 1: if it was free on Netflix. The same way the
- 13:36Speaker 1: Tyson fight was, I'm not seeing him fight Billy Johnson.
- 13:39Speaker 1: I'm catching the highlights after and scene. If you actually won.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Nobody wants to fight him.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Though anybody wants to fight him.
- 13:46Speaker 4: You said no, the professionals, no one wants to give
- 13:49Speaker 4: him a fight because they don't think he's a real boxer.
- 13:52Speaker 4: So the people that he's fight are the only people
- 13:54Speaker 4: that actually are accepting to fight him and use a culture.
- 13:59Speaker 4: That's why I think now he just got his first
- 14:01Speaker 4: official offer from a professional boxer to actually fight.
- 14:06Speaker 1: So when you say nobody wants to fight him, like,
- 14:08Speaker 1: are you saying like name fighters or just in.
- 14:10Speaker 4: General professional fighters in boxing, they don't. Nobody is wanted
- 14:14Speaker 4: to fight him. The people that he fighting are the
- 14:16Speaker 4: only people he could find that want to fight him.
- 14:19Speaker 1: So are you saying nobody wants to fight him as
- 14:21Speaker 1: far as like they don't respect him enough to fight him,
- 14:24Speaker 1: or they're not, okay, gotcha.
- 14:25Speaker 2: To respect him.
- 14:26Speaker 4: But I think they're also scared to get whooped by
- 14:30Speaker 4: someone who's only had.
- 14:31Speaker 1: That that's kind of his career. That's kind of where
- 14:34Speaker 1: I wanted to lead it too. I kind of feel
- 14:35Speaker 1: like that, you know, you can come at that angle
- 14:39Speaker 1: of like, oh, you're not a real fighter. But like
- 14:40Speaker 1: what you said, he's been training, bro, you know, he's
- 14:43Speaker 1: in shape, he's got boxing trainers, you never know, you
- 14:47Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. But at the same time, if
- 14:49Speaker 1: you're Billy Johnson, the no name boxer, you're not getting
- 14:53Speaker 1: paid no more than you know, You're not getting paid
- 14:57Speaker 1: no more than one hundred thousand to fight the circuit
- 14:59Speaker 1: that you want. So a big Paul fight is going
- 15:02Speaker 1: to make the most sense.
- 15:06Speaker 3: I think they were.
- 15:07Speaker 4: Trying to get a fight with Muhammed Ali's grandson, Nico Ali.
- 15:12Speaker 4: He turned that down, turn it down. He said he
- 15:15Speaker 4: wasn't giving him the fight. Nobody in UFC that's still
- 15:20Speaker 4: in the USC wants to fight him. Connor greg they
- 15:23Speaker 4: can anyway, yeah, but says he wants to fight him,
- 15:27Speaker 4: but in the octagon. Yeah, a lot of boxers just
- 15:33Speaker 4: don't are not accepting fights, and they don't respect him.
- 15:35Speaker 2: But you know what I find interesting though, is that,
- 15:37Speaker 2: you know, the the thing that was holding people's attention
- 15:43Speaker 2: was the fact that he was winning, you know what
- 15:45Speaker 2: I'm saying, But then when he lost to.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Tommy Fury, Tommy Fury and Tommy Fury is not even nice, right, But.
- 15:54Speaker 2: I you know, I'm I'm surprised that people are still infactuated.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Let's just say that, you know what I mean.
- 16:01Speaker 1: It's that The thing is, it's the following that we
- 16:04Speaker 1: are not privy too because we're not of that generation.
- 16:07Speaker 1: But he's like one of the og like YouTube stars.
- 16:11Speaker 1: He was like a Disney Channel kid for a little bit.
- 16:13Speaker 1: So he's like for the younger generation, they grew up
- 16:17Speaker 1: with Jake Paul, you know what I mean, Like they're
- 16:19Speaker 1: literally seeing this dude pull this boxing thing out his ass. Bro.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Like he literally just decided I'm gonna start boxing, and
- 16:26Speaker 1: he really like kind of set the wave for like
- 16:28Speaker 1: influencer boxing, celebrity boxing type stuff like and he really
- 16:33Speaker 1: brought back boxing from the point of view of like
- 16:35Speaker 1: what I was saying earlier, like he's getting these people
- 16:37Speaker 1: these paydays. Bro. That that srouno fight. Oh yeah, we
- 16:41Speaker 1: were not gonna get that fight in that capacity if
- 16:45Speaker 1: it wasn't for Jake. Paul agreed, and we we've witnessed
- 16:50Speaker 1: one of the best. Bro. That to me, Dog is
- 16:53Speaker 1: one of the top ten best fights I ever seen
- 16:57Speaker 1: and one of one of the top probably like the
- 17:00Speaker 1: top one worst robbery I've ever seen. Facts like in
- 17:04Speaker 1: the same breath because Dog, I could not I could
- 17:06Speaker 1: not believe it, Bro, the way she whooped that chick,
- 17:10Speaker 1: where her freaking eyelid hanging off for the whole fight,
- 17:14Speaker 1: and the chick got a point taking away for the
- 17:16Speaker 1: head butt, and she was clearly leading with her head
- 17:19Speaker 1: the whole fight. It was clear. It was not incidental.
- 17:23Speaker 1: It was very clear. They showed it every time, Bro,
- 17:26Speaker 1: for her to eat dog. There's I think that that
- 17:29Speaker 1: I got cut what fourth round or something like that. Yeah,
- 17:32Speaker 1: that dog, and and the way it got cut, I
- 17:35Speaker 1: was like, she's done. I didn't even think they were
- 17:36Speaker 1: gonna let her back in. Bro.
- 17:37Speaker 2: It was.
- 17:40Speaker 1: It was flapping, Bro.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Yeah, it was literally flapping dog.
- 17:43Speaker 1: I could not believe it that that was that. That
- 17:46Speaker 1: wasn't right, Bro, that was not right. I can't believe.
- 17:49Speaker 1: And the crazy thing is that all the judges gave
- 17:52Speaker 1: it to Taylor. Bro. Every single judge gave it to
- 17:56Speaker 1: Taylor by a point.
- 17:58Speaker 2: How Bro, because they was in Texas.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Dog, And that's what the Texas, that Texas, that them
- 18:05Speaker 1: judges in Texas. Bro, They're always ruin in fights. Bro.
- 18:11Speaker 1: It's crazy, dog. Yo. I'm glad that you mentioned the
- 18:15Speaker 1: Texas thing because it made me think about this, Bro.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Maro Ronaldo Dog the play by play guy for the fight.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Oh my god, he does a lot of other fights
- 18:27Speaker 1: and stuff. Dog. He was in WWE for a little
- 18:31Speaker 1: bit and like he grubbed elbows the wrong way with
- 18:36Speaker 1: people there, and he ended up leaving. It was a
- 18:38Speaker 1: whole dramatic thing. And then he went back to like
- 18:42Speaker 1: MMA and boxing or whatever. But the same thing that
- 18:45Speaker 1: happened in ww is like it's just dog. Basically, what
- 18:49Speaker 1: I'm trying to say is this dude is whack. Bro.
- 18:52Speaker 1: So I don't understand why they put him on these
- 18:54Speaker 1: fights because he does a lot of events. Bro, he'd
- 18:57Speaker 1: be having the most corniest overreaching metaphors. He's his energy
- 19:04Speaker 1: just be weird, like Yo, he did not know how
- 19:07Speaker 1: to handle that booth, Like he wasn't like seasoned enough
- 19:11Speaker 1: to guide Rosie Perez and Roy Jones the right way,
- 19:14Speaker 1: because like Roy Jones was saying a lot of good,
- 19:17Speaker 1: insightful things, like Marrow being the actual play by play guy,
- 19:22Speaker 1: he should have been leading him in a way to
- 19:24Speaker 1: like highlight the stuff he was saying and make him
- 19:26Speaker 1: sound better than he did. Then he was like arguing
- 19:29Speaker 1: with him about the tyson biting his gloves thing, like Bro, Yeah,
- 19:35Speaker 1: regardless of regardless of Tyson used to bite his gloves
- 19:37Speaker 1: in his old fights or not. Why are you trying to,
- 19:40Speaker 1: like adamantly stick to this on air with Roy Jones, Bro,
- 19:44Speaker 1: we don't want to hear Roy Jones get corrected on air,
- 19:47Speaker 1: Dog right, Like, have a little more sense for what
- 19:50Speaker 1: you're doing. Bro. I can't stand this guy as a
- 19:53Speaker 1: play by play guy. I hate him as a commentator.
- 19:55Speaker 4: Bro, Yeah it was. It was tycorny to me too.
- 19:59Speaker 4: We actually positive just left.
- 20:01Speaker 1: It all yo, for real, Bro, he wasn't helping the
- 20:05Speaker 1: situation of the inexperience of the panel.
- 20:07Speaker 3: Bro.
- 20:07Speaker 1: He definitely wasn't, and he's he's a seasoned commentator. Bro,
- 20:11Speaker 1: I don't understand the appeal. I really don't. Bro.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree.
- 20:17Speaker 1: I think that's the first time I really like shit
- 20:19Speaker 1: on somebody on the podcast. And it's like a.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Weird it was well deserved, it was well deserved.
- 20:23Speaker 1: It's like a weird choice, dog. But honestly, Bro, I've
- 20:26Speaker 1: been hearing this guy for years and I just never
- 20:29Speaker 1: liked his work.
- 20:30Speaker 3: Bro.
- 20:30Speaker 2: They should have bought my dog Jonathan Coachman out there.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Bro, literally the coach Yo coach After the diviscivele man
- 20:37Speaker 1: thing happened. He had like a resurgence and he's been
- 20:40Speaker 1: doing mad like interviews and stuff. He got. He's like
- 20:42Speaker 1: a got a podcast going now, Like he's been spelling
- 20:45Speaker 1: mad wwet on the podcast.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Like I like coach Man. Coach is dope.
- 20:50Speaker 1: He used to come out in that Kingo Bro, remember
- 20:53Speaker 1: that right right then he.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Had a little wrestling stint for a little bit.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, he's a funny guy, Bro.
- 21:00Speaker 3: But Yo, I just came.
- 21:04Speaker 1: It was the Mike Tyson connection. She's really cool with Tyson.
- 21:08Speaker 1: And supposedly they heard her talking like she had like
- 21:10Speaker 1: a little guest spot in a fight where like she
- 21:13Speaker 1: was like just part of the commentary for like a
- 21:17Speaker 1: little piece of it, and that supposedly they liked her,
- 21:20Speaker 1: and they did like a test, and they liked the
- 21:22Speaker 1: test too, and they ended up hiring her for it.
- 21:25Speaker 3: Gotcha, that makes sense.
- 21:26Speaker 1: I don't think she was too bad. I just think
- 21:28Speaker 1: she was lost. And like I said, Bro, he didn't
- 21:30Speaker 1: lead her the right way he was. She's not seasoned,
- 21:34Speaker 1: Like you gotta you gotta nute her along, you gotta
- 21:37Speaker 1: tell her things in between, you know what I mean? Like,
- 21:40Speaker 1: I don't know, Bro, just it was bad. Bro, it
- 21:42Speaker 1: was bad, but.
- 21:44Speaker 2: His analogies were so asked. Yeah even even Bro, wife,
- 21:49Speaker 2: you don't even watch boxing like that, but she was
- 21:51Speaker 2: watching that one with me and she was just like, Yo,
- 21:55Speaker 2: that's what we keep talking about.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Like people watching the fight, and everybody that I was
- 22:00Speaker 1: with mentioned Buddy like that was like a sword thumb
- 22:04Speaker 1: to them the whole time, Like, Bro, what is this
- 22:06Speaker 1: guy saying though? But yeah, man, I went down this
- 22:10Speaker 1: little rabbit hole just you're familiar with with Wallow right,
- 22:17Speaker 1: Wallow and Gilly and like a lot a lot of
- 22:19Speaker 1: like emotionalness of Wallow and these like hearts and heart
- 22:24Speaker 1: to be having with different artists and stuff.
- 22:25Speaker 4: One of the reason you like, yeah, sound takes on there?
- 22:32Speaker 4: The which one that bx A plug album I was
- 22:35Speaker 4: talking about, it has has a few Wallow Yeah, I
- 22:38Speaker 4: need to listen. So I only listened to like the
- 22:40Speaker 4: first couple of songs. I need to ride with that.
- 22:44Speaker 1: But yeah, like like you were saying, Quincy, he just
- 22:46Speaker 1: had a heart to heart with Kodak Black, just kind
- 22:48Speaker 1: of letting him know he needed to get his stuff
- 22:50Speaker 1: together for his family, for his kids. He got too
- 22:52Speaker 1: much to lose and it kind of sent me down
- 22:56Speaker 1: a rabbit hole randomly, And I was showing my wife,
- 22:58Speaker 1: like the video of him crying a little dirt, the
- 23:01Speaker 1: video of him talking to Young Thug, the video of
- 23:03Speaker 1: him crying when he met Saanfa.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Yeah, that was that was a dope video and it
- 23:09Speaker 2: just made me think.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Bro, like this guy is literally talking to all these dudes,
- 23:14Speaker 1: you know, even the conversation he had with Young Thug,
- 23:17Speaker 1: Like he's talking to all these dudes as a guy
- 23:21Speaker 1: that literally did twenty five years in jail, bro, twenty
- 23:25Speaker 1: five years. Like he literally is telling you from the
- 23:28Speaker 1: point of view, is somebody that really been through the
- 23:30Speaker 1: path you on? Yep, And he's telling you something from
- 23:34Speaker 1: a point of view, like not his point of view,
- 23:36Speaker 1: but your point of view as the rapper listening to him.
- 23:39Speaker 1: You're already on with money, right, Like you're on and
- 23:42Speaker 1: you got bred. So he's not telling you this like
- 23:45Speaker 1: he's telling you because you're a punk kid in the
- 23:47Speaker 1: street and then you can come back with you don't understand,
- 23:50Speaker 1: you know, like I'm still in this, you know, like
- 23:52Speaker 1: you can't even come back with that, bro, Like you're
- 23:54Speaker 1: already out of the situation. Bro, So it's like I
- 23:59Speaker 1: was just looking at it, and it's like, Bro, there's
- 24:01Speaker 1: literally a video of him with all these major rappers
- 24:05Speaker 1: of him warning them of the stuff that they all
- 24:08Speaker 1: got caught up in little dirt for higher plot. Young
- 24:13Speaker 1: Thug Rico charge Young Dolph tragically murdered. You know what
- 24:18Speaker 1: I'm saying, Like, you're talking about these things with these people,
- 24:23Speaker 1: and you have direct experience and knowledge of what they're
- 24:25Speaker 1: going through, and you're talking to them from a real place,
- 24:27Speaker 1: and you have resources and they have resources, and they're
- 24:32Speaker 1: still falling to the same things.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Bro.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Like it's like one of those things that it makes
- 24:40Speaker 1: you feel like it's just never going to get better.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Like some people are just hardheaded in that way. Some
- 24:46Speaker 1: people just don't understand how to turn their lives around,
- 24:49Speaker 1: and they just that's it, bro. Like they're just on
- 24:52Speaker 1: that and they're just never going to change. Like I
- 24:55Speaker 1: was even just talking to my wife earlier about like
- 24:57Speaker 1: a family member that ended up changing to like see
- 25:01Speaker 1: other family members because of a grudge thing. And it's
- 25:05Speaker 1: like an older family member that it probably would have
- 25:07Speaker 1: been the last time a lot of people would have
- 25:09Speaker 1: seen them, you know what I mean. And it's just
- 25:12Speaker 1: thinking about that too, Like dang, bro, Like some people
- 25:15Speaker 1: just stick to these things and it's just they know
- 25:20Speaker 1: it's going to lead them to their downfall, and they
- 25:22Speaker 1: just let it keep happening.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Bro. Yeah it sucks.
- 25:27Speaker 3: Yeah yeah Bro.
- 25:30Speaker 1: It's not really like anything like crazy to expand upon
- 25:35Speaker 1: or like a big topic that I wanted to touch into,
- 25:37Speaker 1: but it's just like an observation that I had and
- 25:39Speaker 1: it's just bru. It's definitely like disheartening to see it
- 25:43Speaker 1: keep happening and like you're literally showing like, yo, there's
- 25:47Speaker 1: a trap, Like there's a sign it tells you the
- 25:50Speaker 1: traps right there, Like you even got signs like leading
- 25:52Speaker 1: you to it, you know, like almost like a road,
- 25:54Speaker 1: like you know, five miles away from the trap, three
- 25:56Speaker 1: miles away from the trap, two miles away from the trap,
- 25:59Speaker 1: and they're still fall the.
- 26:00Speaker 3: Trap into it.
- 26:02Speaker 1: It's crazy, bro, It's nuts.
- 26:05Speaker 2: That's why they say, Man, the trap isn't a location,
- 26:07Speaker 2: it's a mind.
- 26:09Speaker 1: Yes, you're literally you're literally trapped, bro. And that's something
- 26:14Speaker 1: that's funny, man, because like I hear that from a
- 26:17Speaker 1: lot of people that I know that have sold you know,
- 26:21Speaker 1: different you know, done different things and stuff that it's like,
- 26:24Speaker 1: even if you're making money, it's a life that like
- 26:27Speaker 1: you can't part time it, you know what I mean,
- 26:29Speaker 1: You can't just make your money and then okay, now
- 26:32Speaker 1: let me do what I'm gonna do with my money
- 26:33Speaker 1: and let me handle my business. No, bro, it's all.
- 26:35Speaker 1: It's all inclusive, you know. It's it's you're in that
- 26:39Speaker 1: life and that life is what pertains to it, you
- 26:42Speaker 1: know what I mean. And it's just bro, it's crazy man,
- 26:47Speaker 1: Like I guess it's just the hubris of a human
- 26:50Speaker 1: that they think that they're going to be the one
- 26:51Speaker 1: to break it or you know, be the exception to
- 26:54Speaker 1: the rule when they've got thousands of years of history
- 26:58Speaker 1: to show you, like nobody wins exist, bro.
- 27:03Speaker 4: Crazy stuff. And they'd be good as artists too. That
- 27:06Speaker 4: the people want to see succeed, yep.
- 27:10Speaker 1: That they just want to see you living. Like there's
- 27:12Speaker 1: people that get this support where people just want to
- 27:16Speaker 1: see them happy, living their best life and they will
- 27:19Speaker 1: pay them and be entertained by just seeing you living
- 27:24Speaker 1: your life well and you still don't do it, bro,
- 27:27Speaker 1: Like that's so crazy to me. Dog. It doesn't make
- 27:30Speaker 1: no sense, bro. And it's usually the people that Garner
- 27:34Speaker 1: that support that are that kind of person that want
- 27:38Speaker 1: to do the dumb stuff, you know what I mean.
- 27:40Speaker 1: It's like, almost exclusively everybody I know that has like
- 27:43Speaker 1: a natural charisma magnetism that people just want to rock
- 27:48Speaker 1: with them. They're all knuckleheads, bro, It's crazy, dog. But
- 27:55Speaker 1: on the good side of that, I haven't checked it
- 27:58Speaker 1: out yet, but just from the knowledge that we all
- 28:00Speaker 1: already have on Shine, I know y'all been seeing that.
- 28:04Speaker 1: A documentary came out and more clips have been coming
- 28:07Speaker 1: out of Shine talking about different things, and I'm excited
- 28:10Speaker 1: to actually watch that because I was a big Shine fan.
- 28:13Speaker 1: I was a big fan of his album when he
- 28:15Speaker 1: got out of jail, Godfather Buried Alive. That is like
- 28:19Speaker 1: a staple album for my homie that I mentioned that
- 28:23Speaker 1: committed suicide. He was very like that was one of
- 28:27Speaker 1: his joints. He loved that Shine Godfather Barriied Alive and
- 28:31Speaker 1: it came out around the time when me and him
- 28:33Speaker 1: got close, you know what I mean. So it's like
- 28:36Speaker 1: that album has a special place in my heart, even
- 28:39Speaker 1: though I still like Shine from before that, but just
- 28:41Speaker 1: that added that extra layer to it, you know what
- 28:43Speaker 1: I mean. But with Shine Bro it was like he
- 28:47Speaker 1: was a super dope artist. I was mad young, So
- 28:50Speaker 1: like when he got arrested and that whole thing happened,
- 28:52Speaker 1: I was like, I couldn't even believe that could happen
- 28:55Speaker 1: to somebody famous like that, you know what I mean,
- 28:56Speaker 1: Like you're telling me he was like shooting people in
- 28:59Speaker 1: the club, Like this guy's a rapper, Like what is
- 29:02Speaker 1: he doing? You know what I mean? But you know,
- 29:04Speaker 1: as things have unraveled, and he's always maintained that, he's
- 29:12Speaker 1: always said, I'm not saying did he did it? But
- 29:15Speaker 1: I didn't do it? And the lady said that did
- 29:17Speaker 1: he shot her? So he's like saying it without saying it,
- 29:20Speaker 1: you know what I mean. So it's like, obviously this
- 29:23Speaker 1: whole Shine thing is kind of capitalizing on the Diddy situation.
- 29:28Speaker 1: He turned his life completely around and he's been on
- 29:30Speaker 1: the straight and narrow ever since. I mean, he's involved
- 29:32Speaker 1: in the government and Belieze and he's been having a
- 29:35Speaker 1: big hand and trying to drive tourism and kind of
- 29:38Speaker 1: do different partnerships to bring more money to Belieze. So
- 29:42Speaker 1: he's a story of like kind of like Wallow and
- 29:46Speaker 1: the Rapper in one. You know, he did the jail
- 29:48Speaker 1: time and got the knowledge, but he was the rapper,
- 29:51Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. And I just kind of
- 29:54Speaker 1: wanted to get you all opinion of like Shine as
- 29:56Speaker 1: an artist, what you remember of him when you were younger,
- 29:59Speaker 1: and just like any overall thoughts on like the Diddy situation,
- 30:02Speaker 1: and just like the documentary, if it's something that you're
- 30:05Speaker 1: interested in.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't even remember a little bit man, his
- 30:09Speaker 2: I think his time and hip hop was pretty short
- 30:13Speaker 2: from whatever a little.
- 30:14Speaker 1: I think it was a little before your time as well.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, so I only call it like a little
- 30:19Speaker 2: bit of it. But you know, his story is definitely
- 30:23Speaker 2: dope to me. You know, I am excited to see
- 30:26Speaker 2: the documentary just from kind of what I've been seeing already, Like,
- 30:31Speaker 2: you know, just the way he turned his life around.
- 30:32Speaker 2: It's kind of the opposite of kind of like what
- 30:35Speaker 2: we are prone to see from a hip hop artist,
- 30:38Speaker 2: you know what I mean. Unfortunately, so it's really dope
- 30:41Speaker 2: to kind of get that. It'll be dope to get
- 30:45Speaker 2: that backstory.
- 30:46Speaker 1: Yeah, and before Joe gives his take, I always found
- 30:51Speaker 1: it funny that and start from scratch Shines verse, he
- 30:55Speaker 1: starts by saying, if I can start from scratch, I'll
- 30:58Speaker 1: signed to Death Jam nah am I saying Puff's the
- 31:01Speaker 1: best man, and it's like him basically like doubling down
- 31:05Speaker 1: before even all that that stuff went down with Diddy,
- 31:09Speaker 1: before he went to jail, before anything, he had like
- 31:13Speaker 1: a reflective moment in that song and still kind of
- 31:16Speaker 1: doubled down that he would do it the same all
- 31:17Speaker 1: over again. And it's just crazy seeing how everything unfolded.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Because he could have signed the Death Jam. He could
- 31:23Speaker 1: have signed I Believe to Rockefeller, you know, basically every
- 31:27Speaker 1: every label wanted him, but he went to bad Boy
- 31:29Speaker 1: for a specific reason, which they talk about in the
- 31:31Speaker 1: documentary and I want to watch it and it's just
- 31:34Speaker 1: kind of crazy hearing him say that and seeing how
- 31:36Speaker 1: it all turned out, Like it's just crazy, like how
- 31:38Speaker 1: the things you say in songs really have like a
- 31:40Speaker 1: bearing on like things, how they happen. You know.
- 31:43Speaker 4: Yeah, well go ahead, Joe, Yeah I was. I was
- 31:46Speaker 4: always a Shining fan. I already knew that or Shootout
- 31:51Speaker 4: Ship with sus and you know, I never looked back
- 31:55Speaker 4: at it just because it was kind of like dead
- 31:58Speaker 4: and gone. And after he got at least he started
- 32:00Speaker 4: doing something different, so he never tried to actually come
- 32:03Speaker 4: back and rap about it and tell people about it.
- 32:06Speaker 4: So now I think saving his story for now that
- 32:10Speaker 4: puffins Kolbol for so many other things, it's kind of
- 32:13Speaker 4: perfect time and for him to share that story and
- 32:16Speaker 4: gives everybody an opportunity to actually listening. Maybe before everybody
- 32:20Speaker 4: was going to be you know, wasn't too fond of
- 32:26Speaker 4: just listening to people's side of the story without judging them.
- 32:29Speaker 4: But now, like I said, now because the situation puffs
- 32:31Speaker 4: and I think is going to give it more credibility
- 32:33Speaker 4: and everybody's going to actually give it a genuine listen
- 32:37Speaker 4: and see what his story is.
- 32:39Speaker 1: So you, since you're like a little older and you
- 32:41Speaker 1: were a little more aware during that time, like, how
- 32:43Speaker 1: how do you kind of remember the whole shooting situation?
- 32:47Speaker 1: You know, Shine Diddy j Lo it was.
- 32:51Speaker 4: We always talked about. We knew it wasn't Shine. We
- 32:55Speaker 4: thought he was the fall guy. Uh, and it was
- 32:58Speaker 4: because of the whole Diddy and Jal being then of
- 33:01Speaker 4: course it wasn't about to get in trouble. And then
- 33:04Speaker 4: how right after that, it's pretty much when Jalo left
- 33:06Speaker 4: Diddy so just kind of like it made sense that
- 33:09Speaker 4: it probably wasn't him. But like I said, nobody really
- 33:13Speaker 4: told his side of the story that much.
- 33:15Speaker 1: And that infamous detail that Nas rapped about in the
- 33:20Speaker 1: song that everybody always talks about is the way Shine
- 33:24Speaker 1: and Didd he had different lawyers. He had his own
- 33:27Speaker 1: lawyer for the case and then Sean got his. He
- 33:31Speaker 1: didn't extend his lawyers or his team to Shine Wow.
- 33:35Speaker 1: So he was definitely like the case was for him
- 33:39Speaker 1: to protect him. It was clear with just the way
- 33:42Speaker 1: the representation was that it was us against him against
- 33:46Speaker 1: the accuser.
- 33:47Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying exactly how it went down.
- 33:50Speaker 1: It's crazy, man, It's crazy what the cloud and the
- 33:53Speaker 1: money does as far as like getting you out of
- 33:56Speaker 1: certain situations and making things kind of go away, and
- 33:58Speaker 1: people just ignoring it. And it's something we always talk
- 34:01Speaker 1: about here, man, and we'll kind of like wind down
- 34:03Speaker 1: with that. But you know, they always they always try
- 34:07Speaker 1: to discredit certain people for not reaching certain heights. And
- 34:12Speaker 1: when they come out and say, oh, it's because I
- 34:14Speaker 1: didn't want to take this route or do this, people
- 34:17Speaker 1: are always like, you're just saying that because you couldn't
- 34:19Speaker 1: be as big as X. You know what I'm saying, Like,
- 34:21Speaker 1: somebody that comes to mind to me is Kat Williams.
- 34:25Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. Yeah, great following as far
- 34:28Speaker 1: as a comedian sells out shows more infamous than famous,
- 34:33Speaker 1: and people always like, depending on if you're a fan
- 34:36Speaker 1: or not, you might say, yeah, I feel like he's
- 34:38Speaker 1: one of the best comedians, or you might say he's
- 34:40Speaker 1: just a bitter comedian that's mad that Kevin Hart is
- 34:43Speaker 1: big and he's not, you know what I mean. But
- 34:45Speaker 1: there's a little truth in every side. You know that
- 34:49Speaker 1: some people don't want to take a certain route to
- 34:52Speaker 1: do stuff, and sometimes that route is the only way
- 34:55Speaker 1: to get there. And you know, and it kind of
- 34:58Speaker 1: goes back to even like the ww TH that we've
- 35:00Speaker 1: been talking about and we brought up Vince mcmaan and
- 35:02Speaker 1: Linda McMahon. It's like WWE, it's one thing, Like the
- 35:06Speaker 1: NBA it's one thing. MLB, it's one thing, NFL, it's
- 35:10Speaker 1: one thing. You're not. You can't go to a comparable
- 35:13Speaker 1: league of those things. You can't go to a comparable thing.
- 35:16Speaker 1: Like these things are working because they're making money. They
- 35:20Speaker 1: got the engagement, they got the revenue. But you're basically
- 35:25Speaker 1: putting yourself at the altar of whoever's at the head
- 35:28Speaker 1: of this and whatever they feel is best for business.
- 35:32Speaker 1: And at the end of the day, bro, Like, that's
- 35:34Speaker 1: how everything works. Even the Jake Paul thing we're talking about.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Why is Jake Paul fighting the way he is now
- 35:40Speaker 1: because he's bringing in the money, He's garnering the interest,
- 35:44Speaker 1: he's bringing in the revenue so he can say, let's
- 35:47Speaker 1: do a fight this way and make it. You know,
- 35:50Speaker 1: why are you gonna put all this work in and
- 35:52Speaker 1: do all this stuff to put a situation that you
- 35:54Speaker 1: could put yourself in danger? Even John Jones said it recently. Bro,
- 35:58Speaker 1: I'm the goat fighter being everybody right now. The only
- 36:02Speaker 1: thing I'm looking for is a super fight, a big payday.
- 36:06Speaker 1: Why am I gonna fight Tom aspinall when nobody knows
- 36:09Speaker 1: who he is. He's a younger, hungrier fighter. He could
- 36:13Speaker 1: maybe catch me and clip me and rock me and
- 36:16Speaker 1: just bro, just that's it. My mistique is gone, my
- 36:20Speaker 1: draw power is gone. I'm cooked. Why would I do that?
- 36:23Speaker 1: And a lot of people don't like that, but a
- 36:25Speaker 1: lot of people also understand it. It's like, Bro, why
- 36:27Speaker 1: is he gonna a hungry up and coming guy when
- 36:31Speaker 1: he already proved everything he had to prove and he
- 36:33Speaker 1: could really just you know, preserve his legacy and make
- 36:38Speaker 1: money on a super fight down the line.
- 36:39Speaker 4: You know, Yeah, a smart business decisions now, and same
- 36:45Speaker 4: thing people don't want to fight a you two fighter
- 36:47Speaker 4: has rot back to you know, that's the reason he's
- 36:50Speaker 4: fighting who he can't fight. And I don't think anybody
- 36:53Speaker 4: outside of Mike Tyson at that age, with everything that's
- 36:57Speaker 4: going on at that big of a stage, with drawing
- 36:59Speaker 4: as much money is Mike Tyson did.
- 37:01Speaker 3: I don't see an equivalent of that.
- 37:02Speaker 2: Yeah, facts super I will say no. Every you know,
- 37:08Speaker 2: I feel like in every industry now, the basis and
- 37:13Speaker 2: respect of where it originated is being lost somehow. It's
- 37:17Speaker 2: all about cloud you know what I mean? Like cloud
- 37:20Speaker 2: sell fills deceased. It's not the art, it's not the we.
- 37:25Speaker 1: The content error, bro, the content man, Tennis King, and
- 37:29Speaker 1: that's what leads everything, And that's where that's where you
- 37:32Speaker 1: get these random things happening because it's content what's gonna
- 37:35Speaker 1: garner interest? We was all watching that fight, bro. You
- 37:37Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. I did not care. I did
- 37:40Speaker 1: not care about the outcome. But there's just the emotional
- 37:42Speaker 1: attachment of Mike Tyson from growing up made me say,
- 37:45Speaker 1: I'm gonna watch the fight and hope he wins. Bro
- 37:47Speaker 1: in the facts and it was free, yeah, because if
- 37:49Speaker 1: I had to pay, there's no way I was spending
- 37:51Speaker 1: a dollar on that fight. I'll tell you that much.
- 37:54Speaker 1: There's definitely a good move. And Mike made twenty million,
- 37:57Speaker 1: they said, and good friend of that for him, right facts.
- 38:03Speaker 1: But yeah, man, I just released a collab. People have
- 38:09Speaker 1: been responding pretty well to it. I'm glad. It's a
- 38:12Speaker 1: different type of release for me. So I'm glad to
- 38:15Speaker 1: see people was responding to it. And it's really just
- 38:18Speaker 1: getting me prepared also for like the rollout. I just
- 38:22Speaker 1: got the second batch of the mixes, looking like we
- 38:25Speaker 1: at the approval stage with a lot of the stuff.
- 38:29Speaker 1: We've got some other stuff sent off to mix as well.
- 38:32Speaker 1: I actually recorded the song last night that Freddie liked
- 38:36Speaker 1: so much he wanted. He wanted it right away to
- 38:39Speaker 1: send it to get a mixed. He was telling me
- 38:41Speaker 1: today He's like, Bro, like, every time I open that folder,
- 38:44Speaker 1: you're adding so many songs that it's like making me
- 38:47Speaker 1: like reshuffle my plans because I'm like, oh, let's do it,
- 38:50Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. So, I mean it's a dope.
- 38:53Speaker 1: It's definitely a dope energy behind everything. And you know,
- 38:57Speaker 1: like I've been saying, bro, my whole year was slowed
- 38:59Speaker 1: down by opening a salon. But I'm really just like
- 39:02Speaker 1: setting up the slingshot to really, you know, get back
- 39:06Speaker 1: on my thing on in twenty twenty five. So I'm excited, bro.
- 39:11Speaker 2: That's what's up. Man. I feel like that's kind of
- 39:14Speaker 2: where I'm on the precipice of my little you know,
- 39:18Speaker 2: like kind of how you was with the salon joint,
- 39:20Speaker 2: like kind of how I am after the wedding and
- 39:22Speaker 2: bashing back with my career and stuff like that. That's
- 39:25Speaker 2: kind of how I feel right now, like things are
- 39:27Speaker 2: just slowed down as well.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Yeah, and even just going back to like the content error, bro,
- 39:31Speaker 1: like it makes you feel like you got to be
- 39:33Speaker 1: on your thing all the time, like and always in
- 39:35Speaker 1: a good situation and always like some new and dope
- 39:38Speaker 1: and exciting, and sometimes you just got to remove yourself
- 39:41Speaker 1: from that algorithm and just be on some like all right,
- 39:44Speaker 1: let me focus on me, because at the end of
- 39:45Speaker 1: the day, bro, Like we always say, Bro, you put
- 39:47Speaker 1: your phone down. It don't matter no more because it's
- 39:50Speaker 1: not in your face and it's not even going on
- 39:52Speaker 1: in your vicinity. So sometimes we need to we need
- 39:55Speaker 1: to just refocus and recharge to just come back with them.
- 39:59Speaker 1: You energy facts agree, Well, yeah, Joe, what you got
- 40:04Speaker 1: going on?
- 40:05Speaker 4: I not, man, Just I'm finally excited to go through
- 40:10Speaker 4: my Serando library and get my songs organized.
- 40:13Speaker 3: That's what I've been doing.
- 40:14Speaker 1: The Serando library is basically like the DJ resource of
- 40:17Speaker 1: like all of the songs that you have at your
- 40:20Speaker 1: disposal for your mixes.
- 40:21Speaker 3: And stuff like that, right, So it's crazy.
- 40:23Speaker 4: It's like, you know, DJ goes around with different record crates,
- 40:27Speaker 4: and different crates have different records in them. So if
- 40:30Speaker 4: you want like your hip hop records here, or your
- 40:32Speaker 4: throwback records here, your R and B records here, so
- 40:34Speaker 4: you're able to make crates with So you have your
- 40:37Speaker 4: entire library, and then you have different crates of particular
- 40:40Speaker 4: groups of songs that you want in there, and they
- 40:43Speaker 4: have like smart crates in there, so I'm able to
- 40:45Speaker 4: do it by genre, by time, whether it's early two thousands,
- 40:50Speaker 4: I'm able to do it by artists.
- 40:51Speaker 1: Have you been diving into these AI features as far
- 40:54Speaker 1: as the DJing goes, I know that you've been tapping
- 40:56Speaker 1: into the stem separation. It's in Serado where you can
- 41:00Speaker 1: just have a file of a song just for the
- 41:03Speaker 1: people that don't know. You could just have a file
- 41:04Speaker 1: of a song with all the layers in it, like
- 41:06Speaker 1: just one file. Just imagine somebody gave you a painting
- 41:10Speaker 1: and the computer was able to separate the layers of
- 41:13Speaker 1: the painting, like take out the person, take out the background,
- 41:16Speaker 1: take you know what I'm saying. Like, that's basically what
- 41:18Speaker 1: Serato's doing with AI, which is something that you couldn't
- 41:22Speaker 1: do before. And it used to be so hard to
- 41:24Speaker 1: find the stems, which are basically like all the audio
- 41:27Speaker 1: different audio files for music because it wasn't readily available.
- 41:31Speaker 1: This is stuff that they're putting together in the studio.
- 41:34Speaker 1: They're not putting out the layers of the song for
- 41:37Speaker 1: people to consume, you know what I mean. So that's
- 41:39Speaker 1: definitely a game changer. But aside from that AI feature,
- 41:43Speaker 1: what have you been tapping into anything else?
- 41:46Speaker 4: Yeah, the spark rads, there's pretty much AI. So it's
- 41:49Speaker 4: kind of like you set values of like songs that
- 41:53Speaker 4: contain this that's this genre, has this artist and his
- 41:58Speaker 4: remix automatic groups all those types of songs going to
- 42:02Speaker 4: create for you. So that's what I mean. I didn't
- 42:05Speaker 4: really I did four thousands. I put four thousand songs
- 42:07Speaker 4: in crates last night, and there's no way I wouldn't
- 42:11Speaker 4: be able to do that manually. That was all auto
- 42:14Speaker 4: generated by those values that they set for each smart crate,
- 42:17Speaker 4: which is all AI stuff.
- 42:19Speaker 1: Yeah, that's dope, Man's that's definitely where where AI shines. Man,
- 42:23Speaker 1: it's definitely where it shines. I want to get more
- 42:25Speaker 1: into Maybe next week we'll get into AI and aliens.
- 42:28Speaker 1: There's been a lot on both fronts lately, and we
- 42:31Speaker 1: can definitely do another deep bat. We're due for Tenfoil
- 42:34Speaker 1: Hot episodes.
- 42:35Speaker 3: I feel like you're the only one who doesn't care
- 42:37Speaker 3: about it.
- 42:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I went to the studio. It's funny you say
- 42:42Speaker 1: that I went to the studio last night, and the
- 42:44Speaker 1: two dudes that I was in a session with shout
- 42:46Speaker 1: out to Mike and my boy JJ. When we were
- 42:50Speaker 1: outside in the smoke break, Bro, we were talking and
- 42:54Speaker 1: then I was like, yo, y'all heard about that congressional
- 42:56Speaker 1: hearing on the UAPs, and neither of them have heard
- 42:59Speaker 1: about it. Bro So I pulled up like a little
- 43:01Speaker 1: five minute video that was like just a lot of
- 43:03Speaker 1: the stuff crunched in one they were sold. They were
- 43:06Speaker 1: like what, like they couldn't believe it. Bro I was like, yes,
- 43:10Speaker 1: you guys have a human response to this. Thank the Lord.
- 43:17Speaker 2: We'll we'll save it for next week.
- 43:21Speaker 5: Stay hustus, put.
- 44:57Speaker 1: Do not pusty, Do not put.
- 45:54Speaker 4: Pusty.
- 45:57Speaker 2: Do not after a.
- 46:09Speaker 5: Not a not after a
