Latest / Session Zero Heroes | TTRPG Actual Play Adventures & Improv Storytelling / Dilly Dunker’s Ice Cream Satisfactory - Episode 3
Transcript
- 0:09We return now to SCN for some breaking
- 0:11news. I'm your host and lead anchor,
- 0:14Jerry Garcia. only a couple hours have gone
- 0:17by since the child recipients of the Dilly Dunkers
- 0:20coins went into the ice cream Satisfactory,
- 0:23and already one one has returned.
- 0:26Joe Pistachio is on site outside of the
- 0:28factory with this breaking story.
- 0:30Joe that's ah, right, Jerry. Only
- 0:33moments ago, a giant batch of rolled ice cream
- 0:36was brought out by a few factory staff members and
- 0:39unrolled right in front of us to reveal little
- 0:42Philip Dipples nearly frozen inside.
- 0:45We tried to talk to the boy, but he was far too
- 0:48cold and sticky to respond. The ambulances
- 0:51have taken him to Sorbet.
- 0:52City Hospital, but we're here with his.
- 0:54Grandmother, Delilah Dipples, to get a
- 0:57statement from her. Delilah, what do you have to
- 1:00say about Philip Dipples'obvious dismissal from the
- 1:03competition? Well, all I can say
- 1:06is that the second that ice cream man comes
- 1:09out of that facility, I'm gonna be
- 1:11slamming him with a big, fat
- 1:14lawsuit. I'll sue him for
- 1:17everything he's worth for whatever happened to
- 1:20my little Philip, so long as my lawyers are all
- 1:23done with the conservative ship papers they're working
- 1:25on. I'm sorry, what was that last,
- 1:28uh, meant? Um,
- 1:31nothing. I better get
- 1:34down to the hospital and make sure Little Philip is okay,
- 1:38or if I'm going to be claiming on that life insurance
- 1:41I filed for him. Well, I can only hope
- 1:44that things happening inside the facility are less weird
- 1:46than those happening outside of it. Back to you,
- 1:49Jerry.
- 1:57All right, welcome back to another episode of our
- 2:00Kids on Bikes one shot campaign
- 2:02titled Dilly Dunkers Ice Cream
- 2:05Satisfactory. This is episode three. Um,
- 2:08on my right we've got Cameron here he is playing
- 2:11Julian Pardner.
- 2:12Pardner.
- 2:13There we go.
- 2:15Directly ahead of me we got Ben.
- 2:16Scaturo, and he is playing Kieran
- 2:18O'mulligan. And on my left we've got Bart
- 2:21Miller. Who's playing? Philip Dipple.
- 2:23Oh, not anymore.
- 2:25Formerly the player. Formerly philip Dipple now
- 2:28taking over.
- 2:28Hogan dos.
- 2:30Unless you did you change it?
- 2:32No, I just, umlaudetted um it up.
- 2:33You, umlauded, it up very fancy and.
- 2:36Wrote down that he has extra leader hose in an inspectment.
- 2:42That's right where last, um, we left.
- 2:44Off, you guys had just taken on the track.
- 2:46It, uh, was sort of like Rainbow Road and Mario Kart,
- 2:49and, uh, you guys had a lot of fun with that. But nobody was,
- 2:52uh, knocked off the track entirely. Although Donna
- 2:55or one remaining NPC was, uh, able to
- 2:58shoot ahead of all of you and place in
- 3:00first. What that means in the future, we'll.
- 3:03Find out, or if it means anything, who knows?
- 3:07Whatever the case, ah, you guys are being led into the
- 3:10next room, uh, by Dilly
- 3:13Dunker himself. And you walk in, it seems like a very
- 3:15boring room, almost like a.
- 3:16Waiting room in a sense.
- 3:18And there's a large TV screen that sits in this room,
- 3:20and on it appears a various series
- 3:23of silhouettes.
- 3:25And Dilly says, uh, next up, we've got a
- 3:27little bit of a situation that I've been trying to figure out how the heck
- 3:30to deal with that's in the sort of next room here.
- 3:33And it'd just be great if I could get your creative help and
- 3:36ideas on how to deal with this. See,
- 3:38um, we,
- 3:41uh, saw the popularity of the
- 3:43bokemon thing that everybody was really all
- 3:46hyped at about internationally and, uh, the whole
- 3:49monster battling and game and everything like that. And we
- 3:52decided that we would try to make a special ice cream treat
- 3:55that sort of mimicked the idea where you could play with
- 3:59actual living ice cream creatures,
- 4:02and then whenever that ice cream creature lost a
- 4:04battle, it would just turn into normal ice cream, and you could eat
- 4:07it. So it's not, like, freaky or disturbing or anything like
- 4:10that. Well, uh, we created them, and
- 4:13it worked, but the problem is that they came in a
- 4:16bit more aggressive than expected, and
- 4:19we're still reworking that formula. Uh, but whatever the case,
- 4:22we've been kind of left with the monsters that we've made so far, and like
- 4:25I said, I need some help dealing with them. So
- 4:28on the screen, you're going to see some silhouettes of some of
- 4:31these creatures, and I'm going to send you in to go deal with them.
- 4:34And, uh, you guys pick which one you want to deal with.
- 4:36And on the screen, you see
- 4:381234
- 4:41different characters. I, uh, want you guys, one of
- 4:44them, uh, come up with a fictional
- 4:46cartoon character that's based off of
- 4:49one in real life. I don't know,
- 4:52like, a parody of one in real life. Doesn't
- 4:55matter what it comes from.
- 4:57Could be anything.
- 4:57Sonic.
- 4:58It's just a parody of Sonic.
- 5:01Sonic.
- 5:02It's Sanic.
- 5:02Okay, I like that's.
- 5:04That's quick and easy.
- 5:05What differs Sanic from Sonic?
- 5:07What is he?
- 5:08He's not a hedgehog.
- 5:09He's a, uh, purple hamster.
- 5:12Purple hamster.
- 5:12Okay. I like it.
- 5:13All right, we'll roll with that.
- 5:14Okay.
- 5:15And his name is Domino.
- 5:17Okay.
- 5:18Domino's.
- 5:19Not Sanic?
- 5:20No, it's domino's.
- 5:21Domino's.
- 5:22Okay. Sounds good.
- 5:23And Domino's Pizza doesn't exist in this world. Just
- 5:25Domino's.
- 5:26Yeah.
- 5:26Bernard doesn't exist in this world.
- 5:29All right, so you guys got Domino's.
- 5:31You got a really fast hamster.
- 5:33So you see a series of
- 5:35silhouettes. One of them is a
- 5:38sort, uh, of a taco shaped body, and then you
- 5:41see some ligaments that are coming out of it's very low to
- 5:44the ground, whatever this creature is.
- 5:46Right.
- 5:46Um, the second one, it kind of looks like a cow, but it has these
- 5:49giant, sort, uh, of rabbit like ears.
- 5:52Uh, the third one, the silhouette seems to
- 5:55suggest it's sort of like some, ah, sort of flying
- 5:58creature that's in sort of an oblong, rounded,
- 6:01square shape with a long what looks like almost like a
- 6:04tail or maybe an antenna.
- 6:05That'S coming off of it.
- 6:06And then lastly, you see what you could
- 6:09swear is a silhouette of
- 6:11Domino, the purple hamster
- 6:14from the cartoon series.
- 6:18And he says, well, there's your four.
- 6:20Feel free to pick whichever one you want.
- 6:22Deal, uh, with it in the next room. And I don't
- 6:25know, maybe I'll use whatever techniques you use to deal with it, to
- 6:28deal with the rest of them.
- 6:31Is it one on one, and are they edible?
- 6:34Uh, I'll just throw all of you guys in there. It'd probably be a little bit
- 6:37easier, but if you defeat it, it'll become regular
- 6:39inedible. So yeah, absolutely.
- 6:42Uh, is there any ice cream in this room?
- 6:45No. Uh, but there's ice
- 6:48cream in the next room if you can defeat the monster
- 6:50because it becomes ice cream.
- 6:52Sure.
- 6:53Can you describe the what was it? The cube
- 6:56one.
- 6:57So it's actually a flat, just
- 7:00square shape, but otherwise, it's got a very flat body.
- 7:02And like I said, it has some sort of either long tail
- 7:05or possibly an
- 7:08antenna of some kind. You're not sure because it's just a
- 7:10silhouette.
- 7:11Could be a whip like flagella.
- 7:15I guess. Is there a door?
- 7:17Well, there is, but you guys got to pick one of these first.
- 7:19There's no way to arm or armor ourselves.
- 7:21Nothing in this room?
- 7:23Not in this room. But I, uh, did leave some stuff in the other room for
- 7:25you.
- 7:27The room they're in?
- 7:28Yeah, you'll go in there, and then.
- 7:30You'Ll armor up, and then we'll release.
- 7:32The beast in there, and then you guys take care of it.
- 7:35That pizza box with the tail doesn't sound that scary.
- 7:38Sure.
- 7:40Anything's easier than
- 7:42domino.
- 7:44He's fast.
- 7:50So one was like that, uh,
- 7:52taco shell one?
- 7:54Yeah.
- 7:55Uh, sorry. I forgot.
- 7:57No, you're good. You're good.
- 7:58So you got the taco shell one.
- 7:59Uh.
- 8:02The one with the bunny ears, and then you've
- 8:04got the square one.
- 8:06I'll take the bunny ears one.
- 8:08You guys are all together.
- 8:11Oh, I didn't realize that. Yeah,
- 8:14you're right. Domino is way too fast. I
- 8:17mean, uh, I've seen the TV show
- 8:19and watching it with my sister way too fast.
- 8:22If we could do the bunny eared one, we each grab a bunny ear. We could
- 8:25wrangle it.
- 8:28One person just, like, handles.
- 8:29Really?
- 8:30Yeah, they're just long handles. Um,
- 8:34I'm pretty sure that taco one might be croco
- 8:37choco. So that's a
- 8:40crocodile. We are not.
- 8:43Do crocodiles like bananas?
- 8:45Are you asking?
- 8:45Yeah.
- 8:46Dilly.
- 8:47Sure.
- 8:48I don't care who I'm askingly.
- 8:50Uh, I think they like I never.
- 8:52Thought about it before because I got bananas.
- 8:55Oh, I suppose
- 8:57he still has the banana split item
- 9:00from the last thing. He's still wearing his captain's hat.
- 9:03Yes.
- 9:04Let's try the bunny first.
- 9:05Yeah, we only had to do one.
- 9:07Ah, just one overall.
- 9:08Yeah, let's, um, do
- 9:11the bunny one, I guess.
- 9:14Sure.
- 9:14Bunnies are also pretty fast, but bunnies are
- 9:17nice.
- 9:18But he said they're aggressive.
- 9:20Well, maybe not if they have bananas.
- 9:25All right, let's Indian to deal with the bunny then.
- 9:27And he opens up the door and inside you see sort of like a
- 9:30little stadium space. And you look up and in the stands you see a
- 9:33bunch of the scoop troop that are all just in there. Like
- 9:36they're all like, cheering. Like this is some kind of gladiator thing or
- 9:39something. Um, against the wall you can see there's
- 9:42a variety of different ice cream armory, uh,
- 9:45type items. You see popsicles,
- 9:48pop scythes, pop swords, pop
- 9:51shields, et cetera. Pop
- 9:53spears. It's all just a playoff of the
- 9:56concept of popsicles. So if there's anything in
- 9:59particular that you want to gear up with,
- 10:02please tell me what it is.
- 10:05Shield.
- 10:06Definitely Shield. All right.
- 10:07Are we trying to kill it or subdue it?
- 10:10I mean, the best defense, uh,
- 10:13is a good defense.
- 10:15Sorry. Any carrots? No, no
- 10:18pop carrots?
- 10:19No pop carrots.
- 10:20Sorry.
- 10:21It's all just weapons.
- 10:22So they're all popsicles, right?
- 10:24Yeah.
- 10:25So I'm going to grab the pops. Is, uh, there like a
- 10:28pop staff or a pop spear?
- 10:30Sure.
- 10:30Is there a popsicle?
- 10:32Yeah, uh, there's just like a regular there's a handful of what
- 10:34color?
- 10:35What color are popsicles?
- 10:37They all have kind of like that light, um, blue.
- 10:40Almost like a blue raspberry.
- 10:42Okay.
- 10:42Um, are there any orange popsicles?
- 10:45They're all light blue. Everything in here is just the
- 10:47light blue color.
- 10:49I'll go with the popsicle scythe because that sounds epic.
- 10:52That does the pop scythe. Yeah, that, uh, sounds epic.
- 10:55You pick it up. Uh, so it's the
- 10:57wooden popsicle stick, but then at the end of it, it's like a
- 11:00sharpened that's sick.
- 11:02Yeah.
- 11:03Popsicle. Frozen pop.
- 11:06Yeah.
- 11:07All right.
- 11:08And then you guys are both grabbing shields?
- 11:10Yeah. Okay.
- 11:11And then I'm not going to pull like the old, like, oh,
- 11:14it's a two handed, one handed, but at the.
- 11:16Same time box of popsicles.
- 11:18Okay.
- 11:19Just like regular regular popsicle. Regular case
- 11:21weapon has the most popsicle on it.
- 11:24Um, probably the pop sword. Pop sword, the majority of
- 11:27that. I mean, it's really just the hilt. That's like the wooden popsicle
- 11:30stick. And then the rest of it's just
- 11:33the popsicle.
- 11:35I'm going to grab a regular popsicle and then the
- 11:37pop sword.
- 11:38Okay.
- 11:39I mean, the regular popsicles. Just like just to emphasize, they're
- 11:42literally like a regular like, I just reached my
- 11:45okay.
- 11:45All right, just to clarify.
- 11:46All right, sounds good. As you guys take oh, uh, let's
- 11:49see. Donna, uh,
- 11:52she picks up a couple of pop
- 11:55daggers.
- 11:56Nice.
- 11:57She's got one in each hand and.
- 11:58She'S like, what are we even doing with these? This doesn't even make any sense.
- 12:01We're going to have to kill something with that. I don't do that. That's not
- 12:04my area. I don't fight.
- 12:06And then as she's like, just sitting there whining and complaining.
- 12:09All of a sudden, the door lifts. It's like a big garage door, kind
- 12:12of. And it just lifts up. And all of a sudden, out
- 12:14hops this giant black and white
- 12:17rabbit.
- 12:20It is laden with milk.
- 12:23Mhm.
- 12:26You actually recognize this giant
- 12:28rabbit. Its, uh, whole head or
- 12:31sometimes even its body or whatever is featured
- 12:34on containers of the milk or the ice cream known
- 12:37as rabbit trail flavored ice cream. That comes from Dilly Dunker's
- 12:40Company. Of course, um, whatever the case, it
- 12:42looks as angry as a rabbit possibly can
- 12:45look. And it comes hopping in, and as it hits the ground,
- 12:48it's so heavy that you feel everything shake around you.
- 12:52And that is what you are presented with to fight.
- 12:54What are you all doing?
- 12:56Okay, how about
- 13:00three people go and try to,
- 13:03uh, get around it? Try to, I don't know, maybe
- 13:07divert its attention a few different ways. And
- 13:10I'm going to sit back here and start
- 13:12whittling one of the popsicles with my multi tool
- 13:16into the shape of a carrot.
- 13:18Okay. Interesting.
- 13:20All right, how big are we talking?
- 13:22Like oh, yeah, that's a great county chair.
- 13:24Prize pig.
- 13:25Volkswagen. How big is, uh, elephant?
- 13:28Oh, that's a big rabbit.
- 13:30Never mind.
- 13:32Uh, I don't think there's more than.
- 13:34Enough popsicle to do that.
- 13:35I'm going to move to flank.
- 13:37Flank. All right.
- 13:38Get behind it.
- 13:39All right.
- 13:40I'm going to hold up my bananas
- 13:43as I walk towards A-N-A-N-A
- 13:46uh, S. Mr. Rabbit, you like
- 13:48bananas?
- 13:49Do a charm.
- 13:50You like bananas? I'm just going to be holding up bananas
- 13:53to him.
- 13:54Right?
- 13:55That is a six.
- 13:56All right.
- 13:57You have all those adversity to another.
- 13:59Oh, yeah, that's right. Um, so as you walk
- 14:02towards it, holding up this banana into the
- 14:05air, it sort of takes a little bit of a
- 14:08cautionary step back and then it lurches forward and just
- 14:11slams into you with its head and sends you
- 14:13flying backwards. That's shield
- 14:16for yeah, that's true. Um, it's definitely
- 14:19damaging. There's not really damage in the system. It's more of like, how
- 14:22badly do you feel or how often do you fail? As
- 14:25we saw from Philip, I just.
- 14:27Fell to the side.
- 14:28Okay.
- 14:29I don't think he likes bananas.
- 14:31All right, sounds good. And then what were you kieran
- 14:34what were you doing?
- 14:35Because that thing is so big, the popsicle idea
- 14:38won't work.
- 14:38Oh, okay.
- 14:39Um, you're like, whittling away, and then.
- 14:42You just see this
- 14:44RA.
- 14:49I'm going to just try to approach it from the
- 14:52side.
- 14:52Okay.
- 14:53As it's hitting him, just be like, okay.
- 14:55Are you attacking?
- 14:56No.
- 14:56What I'm going to do, I just have the shield out right now.
- 14:59The sword is either over the back or on the
- 15:02hip.
- 15:02Okay.
- 15:04I'm just going to just try to get as close as I can.
- 15:07I'm going to try to touch it
- 15:10okay. Um, and just start
- 15:13scratching its back leg.
- 15:15Okay.
- 15:16All right, sounds good. Uh, to
- 15:19some extent, that would also, in my mind, be a charm. Probably because
- 15:22you're trying to assume you're trying to get, like, it's I'm trying.
- 15:24To see what will happen.
- 15:25Sure.
- 15:26But yeah.
- 15:27Okay. Wow.
- 15:28I love my D four and Charm.
- 15:32One uno.
- 15:35All right, it feels you touch it. Uh, one of its
- 15:38legs kind of comes out and just starts to kick at
- 15:41you. Um, at first, you think, oh, it's enjoying it, and
- 15:44then all of a sudden, the kick starts to move towards you, and you have to dodge
- 15:47out of the way, um, as it goes to kick towards
- 15:50you. Um hogan, you're flanking
- 15:53it. You're heading towards the back. What are you going to do from there?
- 15:55Uh, the opening appears.
- 15:57Attack.
- 15:58All right, go for it.
- 15:59Do me a fight.
- 16:02So, you have 20. Exploded your dice.
- 16:05Now you get to roll again.
- 16:06Oh, boy.
- 16:0720.
- 16:09All right, you exploded again. Keep going, keep
- 16:12going. I'll reroll that, uh, cock
- 16:14dice.
- 16:15Eleven.
- 16:16Total is 50 plus 152.
- 16:1852. Attack
- 16:23with a Popsicle sack from the back.
- 16:26Wow.
- 16:26That rabbit, uh, dead.
- 16:29All right, double nat 20.
- 16:30You just do.
- 16:31Holy cow.
- 16:32All right. Attacker's role is greater than ten or more,
- 16:35says Narrative Control. The attacker has full control
- 16:38over the narrative. They explain what the defender
- 16:41does in response to the attack and how ineffective this
- 16:43response is.
- 16:46Describe this scene as you attack it.
- 16:48From I'm ready to hear this,
- 16:51man.
- 16:52That's a much shorter than I was
- 16:54expecting.
- 16:57All right, so, with an epic swipe across its hind
- 17:00quarter, I opened up.
- 17:01A large wound that immediately
- 17:03begins.
- 17:04Seeping a bunch of sweetened condensed milk
- 17:06everywhere.
- 17:07Okay.
- 17:08But it is not quite dead yet.
- 17:11And it's going to make a heroic.
- 17:12Last attack of some kind.
- 17:14All right, the rabbit, uh,
- 17:17hits Donna. I only know of, like, virgin.
- 17:20Yeah.
- 17:22I know of only one sound that
- 17:25rabbits make. It's a horrible, shrill, shrieking
- 17:28sound that it lets out as its back, uh,
- 17:31hindquarters have been sliced open, and it rushes
- 17:34forward, starts hopping forward, um, kind of
- 17:36just, uh, blindly, and slams into
- 17:39Donna, who's just kind of standing there, trying to stay away
- 17:42from it.
- 17:43The second it came out, she was.
- 17:44Like, EW, that thing's gross. And then, of course, it comes leaping
- 17:47towards her after Hogan slashes it in the back and
- 17:50slams into Donna. Uh, Donna goes down.
- 17:53Hogan, you come running up from behind,
- 17:56uh, following after it, having slashed it in the back. What are you doing
- 17:59to finish it off?
- 18:00It feels appropriate since I have a size of its
- 18:03decapitation.
- 18:04All right, sounds good.
- 18:05You go leaping onto its back. It
- 18:08trying to get at you, but it doesn't really have ligaments that can
- 18:11reach around or whatever the case. You leap into the air and
- 18:14come down, slicing the head off of this rabbit.
- 18:17As you separate its head from its body,
- 18:20it all starts to sort of melt into a sort of
- 18:23sweet cream ice cream treat. Um,
- 18:26and it's just a big pile.
- 18:27Of ice cream now.
- 18:28And you hear ah over, kind of like a little microphone.
- 18:31You hear Dilly Dunkers on the other.
- 18:33End say, well, that was a lot
- 18:36faster than I was expecting, but kudos to you
- 18:39guys. You really knocked that bugger down.
- 18:41And as he says this, a door opens up, allowing you guys
- 18:44to go.
- 18:44Into the next room.
- 18:46I was not expecting somebody to roll a 52.
- 18:49Yeah.
- 18:49Uh uh, you can never expect anything with exploding
- 18:51dice.
- 18:52That's right, you can't. Goodness.
- 18:54You know what? Well worth it, though.
- 18:56Holy cow.
- 18:56That was somebody running calculations of, like, how
- 18:59unlikely that is. Bart, you do math.
- 19:02One in 400.
- 19:04Holy cow.
- 19:04Wow.
- 19:05Look at what we just did. All right, fantastic. So you guys make it
- 19:08into the next room. Uh, Donna picking herself
- 19:11up off the ground in a fairly
- 19:14beat, uh, up state, but, uh, manages to
- 19:17hobble her way into the next room with you
- 19:19guys. Um, dilly dunker just leads you. It kind of just
- 19:22empties back into that waiting room. He congratulates all of you.
- 19:25Wow, that was, again, really well done.
- 19:27Uh, a lot faster than myself or the Scoop troops
- 19:30has been able to handle any of these kind of creatures.
- 19:33Got, uh, to say, uh, I'd be.
- 19:34Putting the company in pretty good hands with Hogan here. That was pretty
- 19:37impressive. Uh, but that's not how decisions are made
- 19:40here. Um again. Well done, Hogan.
- 19:43I saw how well you did. Uh, the rest of you guys, good job as
- 19:46well. All right, onto the next and final, uh,
- 19:48room. Actually, before we, uh, kind of go into our final
- 19:51little section here, and you guys present
- 19:54me with the amazing ice cream treats you've been
- 19:57coming up with this whole time. Yes. All right.
- 20:00Fantastic. All right, next room.
- 20:02You guys go into the next room. Once again, you're greeted by the
- 20:05sight of a lot of different the conveyor belts
- 20:08and machines. But this time, instead of,
- 20:11um, big machines that are kind of like doing
- 20:13the action to process whatever the ice cream treat is
- 20:16or whatever the case, uh, you see a whole bunch of
- 20:19robots that are in this room. Specifically,
- 20:21123-4567
- 20:24robots scattered about this room. You see them
- 20:27doing a whole variety of different tasks as things come down
- 20:29the conveyor belt. They're picking up ice cream cones and dipping them
- 20:32into chocolate, or they're pulling a lever that
- 20:35fills up like a container of ice cream and slapping a lid on it and putting
- 20:38it back on the conveyor belt. Very just like, basic, boring,
- 20:41tedious kind of tasks. And Dilly Dunkers, as
- 20:44he's walking through there's, sort of like a safety area, like you
- 20:47see in a lot of, um, warehouses or
- 20:50industrial areas, where they kind of have that line that once
- 20:53you pass that line, you're in the danger zone or whatever, right. Or
- 20:56you shouldn't be here without a hard hat. He's keeping you within the safety
- 20:59line.
- 20:59And he says, uh, so over here, we've
- 21:02sort of created what we call the dipping bots. The, uh,
- 21:05dipping bots are here to do basically all of the more
- 21:08tedious tasks that, uh, the Scoop troop could
- 21:11be better sit, uh, doing other things that are a little bit smarter,
- 21:14obviously, and things like that. So they do a lot of the harvesting and
- 21:17some of the other more complex tasks, but we needed somebody
- 21:20to do the very basic, simple, tedious
- 21:23tasks, and that's what they do here.
- 21:25Um, it's actually a pretty recent development.
- 21:26Believe it or not. Only recently came up with the AI system that
- 21:29could help program these creatures. But the
- 21:32problem is, it's a little bit on the fritz
- 21:35lately. And just as he says that, you.
- 21:37See, uh, a couple of the bots start, like, taking out huge
- 21:40cones and they're just dipping them and dipping them and dipping them just the
- 21:43same ones. And then all of a sudden, they.
- 21:44Take them out and they just start.
- 21:45Throwing them around the room and, um,
- 21:48swinging chocolate sauce in every direction, he.
- 21:50Says, yeah, so that's pretty much what I'm talking
- 21:53about. Uh, if you guys could, uh, figure out what's wrong
- 21:56with them and hopefully reprogram them, you'll have to step
- 21:59into the danger zone, the non safe place. So grab yourselves a hot
- 22:02hat before you do that. Um, apparently,
- 22:05uh, when I have people here, they have to follow the OSHA
- 22:07regulations. They should,
- 22:10uh, yeah. Uh, but whatever the case, just be careful
- 22:13because these things can get quite violent as
- 22:16they've shown before. So, yeah, have
- 22:18edit, and you are.
- 22:20Presented with a situation where you've got a variety of
- 22:23seven glitchy robots scattered throughout the room that
- 22:26are starting to.
- 22:28Cause some mayhem, and you got to figure out how to fix them.
- 22:30Um, is there a, uh, control panel
- 22:33anywhere?
- 22:34Uh, actually, you do see that there is a little room. There's
- 22:37some stairs at the far end of the room. Stairs lead up, and there's, like, kind of
- 22:40a control room, uh, up in that area.
- 22:43Okay, I'm going to put a hard hat on and head that
- 22:45way.
- 22:46All right.
- 22:46Um, are you going to turn them off and
- 22:49count to five and turn them back on again?
- 22:51No, not five. We're doing the router setting, so it's
- 22:5415.
- 22:55Okay. All ah.
- 22:56Right, as you are making your way across, there one of
- 22:59the robots. So the robots,
- 23:02similarly to Pokemon, they only say their name
- 23:04right? So, uh, one of them, he says.
- 23:07Yo, I'm Mr. Fruit Jazz.
- 23:09And he starts to just he has, like, a machine gun kind of
- 23:12built into his arm almost, and he just starts to fire
- 23:15frozen, um, berries around the room,
- 23:18like little bullets. Uh, how
- 23:21would you like to respond to this. As he starts to fire in your
- 23:23direction, I'm going to duck behind the nearest bit of
- 23:26machinery. All right, sounds good. Roll me a flight.
- 23:29Uh, okay.
- 23:34Seven.
- 23:35All right, sounds good. You duck behind the machinery.
- 23:38A, um, couple of these pieces, uh, of fruit
- 23:41scattering around you, but none of them hitting you. Uh, but currently,
- 23:44you're kind of, like, pinned down a little bit. Does anybody else want to do
- 23:47anything?
- 23:48You know, it is nice with all these Haywire
- 23:50robots that they still respect the safety line.
- 23:55That's true.
- 23:57That is wild. They at least have that bit of
- 23:59programming AI. To work.
- 24:02Well done, Mr. Dunca.
- 24:04Well, like, uh, I said, we do our best here.
- 24:07Have you tried hitting one on the head?
- 24:09I have not tried that.
- 24:10Okay.
- 24:11Uh, I haven't come into this room.
- 24:12Very much at all, to be honest with you.
- 24:14I'm just going to grab a hard hat, okay. Because that's, like, the only
- 24:17hard object I see near me, and I'm just going to chuck it at the
- 24:20nearest one and see if I can just hit it on the head.
- 24:22Okay.
- 24:22Um, do you want to throw it at that one
- 24:25that is shooting at no closest one.
- 24:28I'm assuming that one's closer to him running.
- 24:30Sure.
- 24:30No, that's fair. Um, yeah, there's one of them,
- 24:33uh, that is looks like a clown.
- 24:36Yeah, I threw it at that one.
- 24:37Oh, okay.
- 24:37All right, sounds good. Um, yeah, there's one of them that's
- 24:40literally, uh, he's just got a box
- 24:43of sprinkles, and he's just going and he's just
- 24:45throwing sprinkles in every direction. So you throw your hard hat at him.
- 24:48Roll me a fight five.
- 24:52Okay. Yeah. Boom.
- 24:53It hits him on the head, and he starts to kind of spin around,
- 24:56and now sprinkles are flying in every direction.
- 24:59Cool.
- 24:59Um, it's sort of like where he's separated at his torso.
- 25:03So his torso is just spinning around while his legs are just still
- 25:05planted in place. Your, uh, friend is still being
- 25:08shot.
- 25:09At by well, I tried all I could.
- 25:12Yeah.
- 25:13Any ideas, Hogan?
- 25:14I'll get a hard hat and make a break for the control
- 25:17room.
- 25:18Okay, sounds good.
- 25:19The sprinklebot, uh, the same one that just got hit by the hard
- 25:22hat, sees you making your way for the control room and
- 25:24starts to, um he turns the box
- 25:28up onto himself, and his mouth opens up and sprinkles
- 25:30start going in. And then he just turns to you and goes
- 25:33and a vomit line of, uh, sprinkles comes
- 25:36flying your way.
- 25:37What are you doing?
- 25:39Um initiate laser dodging.
- 25:41Laser dodging. All right, sounds good. Sounds like something from
- 25:44video games. It does. Roll me a
- 25:46flight.
- 25:49Seven of ten.
- 25:50All right, sounds good.
- 25:51Yeah, I was going to say, uh, you dodge and sort
- 25:54of slide out of the way. And as you slide, you realize that you are
- 25:57sliding. Currently on, um, a layer of
- 25:59sherbert. And as you look ahead of you, you see that,
- 26:03um, one of the robots is, like,
- 26:06kind of layering the floor in sherbert. And then he starts
- 26:09to kind of like he has another one of those
- 26:11spades from the, uh, cold stone, and
- 26:14he's, like, using it like a brick. Um, what do you
- 26:17call that?
- 26:17Uh, trowel.
- 26:19Trowel.
- 26:19Yes.
- 26:20Um, he's using it like a trowel, and he's, like, building
- 26:23almost like a big wall of, um,
- 26:26sherbert that you're kind of careening towards, like
- 26:29a slip and slide.
- 26:30I'll go hard hat first into it.
- 26:32Okay.
- 26:32Yeah, you just plow through. Uh, do me a grit
- 26:36six. All right, sounds good. You
- 26:39slam into it. It, uh, kind of hurts your head a little bit just from the
- 26:42impact, but, I mean, you're okay. Um, it doesn't
- 26:45break through, though. But you are actually a little bit quite a
- 26:48bit closer to the control, um,
- 26:51room.
- 26:52I'm going to make a dart.
- 26:53Okay, sounds good.
- 26:54Um, do probably, uh, a flight again
- 26:57as he's continuing to fire at you
- 27:00two.
- 27:01All right.
- 27:02So you stand up and immediately get pelted by these
- 27:05hard ice, uh, cream chunks
- 27:08or frozen fruit chunks.
- 27:10I'm going to keep pushing through it.
- 27:11All right.
- 27:11You pushing through it.
- 27:12All right.
- 27:13Sounds good. Um, it's slow progress,
- 27:16and you're taking a lot of damage as you do do a grit to
- 27:19trail. Like, just push through
- 27:22three. Uh, again, it's
- 27:25slow progress, and you are feeling I mean, you're getting welts all
- 27:28over your body as you're just taking damage. What, uh, are
- 27:30you doing, Julian?
- 27:31Oh, Mr. Duncan, do you have any
- 27:34gizmos or gadgets on you? Like ice
- 27:37cream stuff? You got to have something.
- 27:40I mean, I do, but this is more of like a you guys
- 27:43challenge. I was going to have you guys kind of solve it for
- 27:46is.
- 27:46Well, if you give the gizmos to.
- 27:49Me, I'll solve it.
- 27:50Well, I give you guys, uh, an opportunity to get a
- 27:53nice little gizmo back at the gift shop. Do you have anything on you that
- 27:56you could use?
- 27:57I got a checkerboard.
- 28:00I don't think they're in the mood to play a game of
- 28:03checkers with me.
- 28:04Oh, you never know.
- 28:07Okay.
- 28:07I guess you never know. Hi, Mr. Robot.
- 28:10Which one are you approaching? Uh, I'm just walking
- 28:13out to the.
- 28:14End of the line. I'm just shouting at the closest one. Okay.
- 28:17And I pull up the checkerboard and I say, blow me
- 28:20in. Checkers. Loser.
- 28:22Turns themselves off.
- 28:24Are you talking to, I guess sprinklebot, since that
- 28:26was the one that I said was closest earlier, I suppose.
- 28:29I guess so.
- 28:30Do, uh, you want to do charm? Sure.
- 28:32Okay.
- 28:341414.
- 28:35Okay.
- 28:35It turns and it just walks towards you and it just says
- 28:38sprinkle bot. Sprinkle
- 28:40bot. And it sits down across from you. It seems
- 28:43open.
- 28:46And I get the plane some checkers.
- 28:48All right, so. I'm just going to have you do a brain.
- 28:50Do you want black or red?
- 28:52Sprinklebot. Sprinklebot.
- 28:54Red it is.
- 28:56I'm going to roll some brains. That's a four.
- 28:59Oh, that's a three. Seven. Seven.
- 29:01All right.
- 29:02Um, uh,
- 29:05you actually managed to best the robot in a game of
- 29:08checkers.
- 29:09I guess I should have been playing.
- 29:11Robots this whole thankfully, they're
- 29:13glitchy, so.
- 29:14Obviously, the AI is not really thinking carefully, thinking more about
- 29:17sprinkle.
- 29:17Oh, yeah.
- 29:18You watched, like, plenty of moves where it just did something really stupid.
- 29:21It just ate one of the checkers.
- 29:23Yeah.
- 29:26Its own checkers. Well, I guess that benefits
- 29:29me.
- 29:30That's right.
- 29:31Um oh, I beat King May.
- 29:33Sprinklebot.
- 29:34Sprinkle. Sprinkle. Sprinkle.
- 29:38And it powers down, and as it powers down, you can
- 29:41see, uh, there's a little panel on its back, and it has
- 29:43a series of symbols on it.
- 29:45I turn it around because I'm at the line. I turn around to look
- 29:48at the back.
- 29:49Okay.
- 29:49All right, sounds good. It shows the following
- 29:52symbols. Uh, they all look like emojis.
- 29:55And it shows donut
- 29:58ice cream dish,
- 30:00cupcake, ice cream cone.
- 30:04Uh, I'm going to turn it and aim
- 30:07it at another robot, and I'm going to push ice cream cone.
- 30:10It's not buttons. It's just like a
- 30:13oh, it just shows pictures.
- 30:14Yeah.
- 30:16Um, is there a way I could clear it?
- 30:19What do you mean by clear it? Well, is it just, like,
- 30:22part of.
- 30:22Its logo, or is it, like a computer screen or something?
- 30:25It's more like a logo kind of thing. Oh,
- 30:28yeah.
- 30:28It just shows those four emojis. I have
- 30:31no idea what that means.
- 30:32Fair enough.
- 30:33But is there a way I
- 30:36can oh, no, I can't do that. I'm just going to call for
- 30:39the.
- 30:39Next robot, and I'm going to look.
- 30:41Over at a green one. That's like, shooting off, like,
- 30:44some gelato. I'm going to say gelato
- 30:46bot. I choose you.
- 30:49I challenge you. Get over here.
- 30:53Nobody responds. There is no gelato
- 30:56bot.
- 30:56Oh, well, okay. Maybe I
- 30:59was wrong or whatever the green bot is.
- 31:01Uh, let's see. Green is proud.
- 31:03Okay.
- 31:04You see one, uh, and he's
- 31:07green. He's got these big, giant fists. And you see
- 31:10him standing over what looks like some sort
- 31:12of, um, hard candied material.
- 31:15And he's just punching it to flatten it down. And then he looks
- 31:18up, and as he looks up, his arms come up with him. And now he's just punching the
- 31:21air. Like, he just does not stop punching. Um, he's
- 31:24making basically, like, those little ribbons, the thin ribbons that they put in
- 31:27ice cream sometimes. Something like caramel or butter or whatever the case.
- 31:30That's his job.
- 31:30Right.
- 31:31And he starts to approach, and he says, ribbon box. Uh,
- 31:34ribbon.
- 31:34Uh, I sit down across my checkerboard.
- 31:37Do it.
- 31:37Do another charisma check.
- 31:38See if we can convince him to do checker 17.
- 31:40All right, fair enough. You got me there.
- 31:42All right.
- 31:43Uh, yes. He sits down and he's just punching,
- 31:45punching, punching. And you set out the chessboard very
- 31:48carefully. You said chess, right?
- 31:50Checkers.
- 31:51Oh, check.
- 31:51Okay. Yes.
- 31:52And, uh, you're a red ribbon butt
- 31:54ribbon. Red is short a piece.
- 31:57That's true.
- 31:59Uh, and then go, uh, to play him
- 32:01in checkers. I don't know how good he's going to be.
- 32:04No, that's fair. All right, so as you're doing this, I'm going to jump over to the
- 32:07other course.
- 32:07All right.
- 32:08So you're being pelted.
- 32:09I'm trying to duck behind another machine.
- 32:11All right, sounds good. And then you are coming down a
- 32:14slip and well, you came down a slip and slide and kind of came to the end of
- 32:17that. And you've got the sherbert bot who's building a wall
- 32:20right in front of you.
- 32:21Is this trowel attached or could I disarm it?
- 32:24I'd, uh, say let's say it's disarmable.
- 32:27I'm going to fight him for it.
- 32:28All right. Fight him for that trowel. One.
- 32:32As I make up the 20s, you.
- 32:34Go to reach up and you immediately slip and fall backwards on
- 32:37the sherbert. You're picking yourself up from the
- 32:40sherbert. Uh, is there anything else that you would like to do? You look around the
- 32:43room, you see, um, Donna is nowhere to
- 32:45be seen. You're not sure where she went to. Um, but
- 32:48you do see Kieran, who's ducked behind some
- 32:51machines, and he's getting constantly pelted by frozen
- 32:54fruits.
- 32:55You see Julian playing and Julian are.
- 32:57Playing checkers against one of the robots.
- 33:00Well.
- 33:02With an island turn, try to.
- 33:05Proceed to the control room.
- 33:06Okay, sounds good. You start making your way to the control room.
- 33:09I'm, um, going to say that you divert Mr. Fruit
- 33:11Tastic's, uh, attention. He sees you kind of
- 33:14rush by since, um, Kieran was making his way in that
- 33:17same direction. So I'm going to have you do a flight, uh,
- 33:20to dodge out of his attack eight.
- 33:23All right, sounds good. So you, uh, manage to duck
- 33:26and dive and dodge your way out of the way, which also
- 33:29opens up an opportunity for Kieran now that it's
- 33:32not shooting at him anymore.
- 33:33How cracked is that sugar ball?
- 33:35Not very cracked.
- 33:36Okay.
- 33:36It's still pretty fresh.
- 33:37Is it in between the control room and
- 33:40yes. All right. Then, uh, I'll
- 33:43also try to duck and dive around.
- 33:44Okay.
- 33:45Sound good?
- 33:47Six. Six. Okay.
- 33:48And it's going to be a much easier situation now that there's a
- 33:51distraction going on. So both of you are able to dive
- 33:54just ever so slightly, just as the bullets of frozen fruit are
- 33:57kind of approaching you. You both dive into the control room and
- 34:00you find yourselves inside of just a little space. There's
- 34:03walls, um, behind you. And then, of course, there's
- 34:05the wall in front of you, which has a giant TV screen. But there's two
- 34:08openings on either side that someone could enter from,
- 34:11um, giant TV screen. And it seems to have a series.
- 34:14Of codes on it.
- 34:15And what it says is it has all the robots listed.
- 34:17Sprinklebot, choco, Churner, Rocky
- 34:20Roadblocker, Bubblegum Blaster, Sherbert,
- 34:23Shuffler, Ribbon Bot and Mr. Fruit
- 34:25Tastic. Currently, um,
- 34:28Sprinklebot is in red text,
- 34:31um, to assume that it's powered down. The other ones
- 34:34are all in green text. They're active, and it shows
- 34:36next to them. Each one of them has four, um,
- 34:39emojis next to it. And all of a sudden, Dilly
- 34:42Dunkers is standing right next to you guys.
- 34:43And he says, oh, you guys have made it to the control room.
- 34:46What the I'm so glad you got
- 34:49here. See, uh, just so you guys know and are
- 34:52aware, uh, we developed our own special, uh,
- 34:55coding language. I call it IC plus.
- 34:59And, uh, basically, I thought
- 35:02nobody likes letters and numbers and all of that confusion
- 35:05and whatnot. It'd be so much easier if we just used
- 35:08little pictures. So I programmed an entire
- 35:10language that works off of emojis. So,
- 35:13anyways, each one of the robots has a set of four
- 35:16emojis next to or on them that should kind of
- 35:19correspond with what their coding should be. I think
- 35:22the coding might have got a bit glitched and mixed up, though.
- 35:24So, as you can see, the coding that's on the
- 35:27screen is not the coding that should be on the robot. So if you
- 35:30can fix that, then it should power down the robots and.
- 35:33Put them back to work.
- 35:34Like, uh, they should be sort of reset them anyways.
- 35:39Is there on and off switch back here?
- 35:41Like a full no. Unfortunately, it all runs off the AI.
- 35:44So, um, no, on and off. It's got to be
- 35:47manual. Got to get in there manually,
- 35:51all that good stuff.
- 35:54Great.
- 35:55He's like, I got to go watch this thrilling checkers
- 35:58game that's taking place.
- 35:59Yeah, it's pretty crazy eating pieces.
- 36:01What is up doing?
- 36:03Uh, I think he's taking on a robot and chickas.
- 36:06Why? I don't know, but he powered Sprinklebot, uh,
- 36:09down.
- 36:09He what?
- 36:10He parried him down. Although that doesn't mean he's been
- 36:13reprogrammed. But at least he's not hurting anybody.
- 36:16Can you give him a message for me?
- 36:19I suppose I could do that.
- 36:20Just tell him to challenge each one.
- 36:22All of them?
- 36:23Yeah, all, uh,
- 36:26of a sudden, Dilly Dunkers, uh, he sort
- 36:29of just comes walking up to you, and he's like.
- 36:32Hey, question for you. How do
- 36:35you feel about challenging a whole bunch of robots in
- 36:37chickas?
- 36:40That's my lifelong dream.
- 36:43Well, your friends over in the control.
- 36:45Room all said to just get a bunch of
- 36:48these, uh, robots powered down by playing checkers against
- 36:51them.
- 36:52All right? And, uh, Julian cracks his
- 36:54knuckles and gets the plane
- 36:57Punchbot.
- 36:58All right, sounds good.
- 36:59Uh, Romy.
- 37:00Romy a brain two
- 37:03two.
- 37:03You have all of those tokens, though?
- 37:06Those are saved for my lucky rabbits.
- 37:12Punchbot.
- 37:14You make a few wrong moves, whatever the case.
- 37:16Punch.
- 37:16Bob takes the advantage or not Punchbot
- 37:19it's. Ribbon Bot takes the advantage,
- 37:22and immediately, just like, the second that he has more
- 37:24pieces than you do, he stands up and just punches
- 37:27the whole thing and then goes to punch at you.
- 37:30I'm behind the line.
- 37:31Yeah.
- 37:32And as he punches at you, his fist just freezes
- 37:35as it reaches.
- 37:40Um.
- 37:41Julian shakes his fingers.
- 37:42Can we see his back then, if he's turned towards the line?
- 37:45Sure. Yeah.
- 37:46And see the icon? Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, I
- 37:49like that. Um, yeah.
- 37:50You see the following icons
- 37:53strawberry, cherry.
- 37:55Oh, you took my pencil.
- 37:56Peanut gotcha. And
- 38:00ice, uh, cream dish.
- 38:01So the four were strawberry, strawberry
- 38:04cherry.
- 38:05Peanut ice cream dish.
- 38:08I'm going to let Karen handle that. He's got all the brains.
- 38:11Yeah.
- 38:13Um, I'm going to look back at the
- 38:15code. Yes, that's on there.
- 38:17So, under Ribbon Bot, um, what's
- 38:20currently in there is, uh, milk, cookie
- 38:24cake and
- 38:26sherbert m. All right.
- 38:28Uh, what bot has that
- 38:31combination?
- 38:32Which combination?
- 38:33That one I just said.
- 38:35Do any of the bots have that combination on it
- 38:38already?
- 38:39Strawberry cherry one.
- 38:40The strawberry cherry peanut ice cream. I'm going to see if maybe they're
- 38:43just flipped around on no.
- 38:46Okay.
- 38:47You wonder if you could theoretically just, like,
- 38:50backspace on one of them and then retype it. You see a
- 38:52keyboard, but instead of letters on it and stuff, it's all
- 38:55GMO. All
- 38:57right. You go to Ribbon Bot, you
- 39:00type in the strawberry cherry, peanut, and ice cream
- 39:03dish, and you peek back out, and it's
- 39:06like trying to do a punch,
- 39:08um, towards Julian, and it's frozen at the
- 39:11safety line. And then all of a sudden, it just goes
- 39:14and it kind of walks its way back over to the Ribbon
- 39:17section. And then it just, like, powers down. And then you see it power
- 39:20back up, and it just punches the ribbon.
- 39:22Green on the machine then.
- 39:24Yes. Okay.
- 39:26Oh, well, that worked. Uh, do you see the one on that
- 39:28other power down one by chance?
- 39:31Uh, it's facing me, actually.
- 39:33Right.
- 39:34I turned it around.
- 39:35Well, yeah, kieran doesn't know.
- 39:36Yeah.
- 39:37So it's facing you guys, actually.
- 39:39Uh, okay, so what's the code on that one?
- 39:41So that one is for
- 39:44Sprinklebot, and the code on it is
- 39:46Donut ice cream dish,
- 39:49cupcake and ice cream cone. But
- 39:52on the computer, it's listed as milk
- 39:54lollipop, sherbert strawberry.
- 39:57I mean, we were darting the entire time.
- 40:00He's really the only one who knows that.
- 40:01Well, he looked over and saw it.
- 40:03Oh, he did? Yeah. Okay.
- 40:05Uh, you guys know what it is?
- 40:06Yeah.
- 40:07Okay, then we'll just correct and type it in.
- 40:09All right.
- 40:09As you type it in, um, you're sitting there, uh,
- 40:12sprinklebot's, not that far away. All of a sudden,
- 40:15you see a blinking light, and then all of a sudden, it powers back up again.
- 40:18It walks back over to the machines and it starts, um,
- 40:20fixing the, uh, or applying sprinkles
- 40:23to the various ice creams and such that are coming out of the machine like
- 40:26it's supposed to.
- 40:28Hey, ribbon bot, uh, come
- 40:31here. I got a task for you.
- 40:34It kind of looks at you confused, and then it goes back to punching the
- 40:37ribbon dilly.
- 40:38M get him to listen.
- 40:41What do you want from him? He's already been reprogrammed.
- 40:43Well, if we can use his punching ability
- 40:46to knock off, stop the other robots, or give me
- 40:49time to get the other symbols, I can help.
- 40:51Well, that's a great idea, but, uh, they're very
- 40:54singularly programmed.
- 40:57I'm surprised they could even play checkers. By the way, I'm
- 41:00surprised you could.
- 41:01Beat me in checkers kieran and be.
- 41:04Randomly deleting all the code, trying to
- 41:06retype it randomly.
- 41:09And as you're doing this, it's making the, uh, robots
- 41:12on the floor that haven't been reprogrammed yet go even like crazy.
- 41:15They're just, like, doing what would happen if he deletes I'm doing one
- 41:17at.
- 41:18A time and then enters it.
- 41:20Oh, would that delete the code?
- 41:21Would that just stop it? Because it's empty?
- 41:23Uh, you try that, and it does not stop them.
- 41:25Okay.
- 41:29Robots, just to the next one.
- 41:32Yeah, come play me and check us.
- 41:34Your checkers board has been destroyed.
- 41:36Is Donna still missing?
- 41:37Yeah, Donna just disappeared.
- 41:39Uh, I mean, if you want to.
- 41:40Keep an eye out for if you're.
- 41:42Like, trying to see her.
- 41:44I was just curious. She's not helping.
- 41:47Robot, come here. I've got something for you.
- 41:50Do a charisma or do a Charm
- 41:5315. All right. Uh, all of a sudden, one of them comes
- 41:56up, and he says, oh, that's
- 41:59perfect.
- 41:59I have mint gum. And I hold up the gum to
- 42:02him. Okay, you want some gum?
- 42:04It, like, reaches out.
- 42:05It takes I know, I stopped.
- 42:07I hold it.
- 42:08I say first turn around. Do a turn around for me, and
- 42:11then I'll give you the gum. All right, it does that, and
- 42:13then I look at the symbol, and I shout it out to them.
- 42:16All right, sounds good. So Bubblegum Blaster has,
- 42:19uh, candy lollipop, sherbert,
- 42:22and ice cream.
- 42:27All right, it walks over and it
- 42:29starts.
- 42:30Does it turn around for the gum, or does it just walk away?
- 42:32It just walks away.
- 42:35I feel sad.
- 42:36No, you are tricking them. That's great.
- 42:39I'm so sad. I didn't take my gum.
- 42:41Just as kind of a funny REM as it walks over. You see what it
- 42:44was working on and that is it puts all its job is
- 42:47to put those bubble gum eyeballs onto
- 42:50the character ice cream cones that you get from
- 42:52the ice cream in. And you can see the ones that
- 42:55were coming out as it was all glitchy and they're all
- 42:58messed up all over. And then, of course, the ones that it's doing
- 43:01now are fixed, and you suddenly realize
- 43:04how those get so messed up when you buy
- 43:07them at the ice cream.
- 43:08Yep.
- 43:09Um, I guess I yell to the next one and say,
- 43:12hey, roll by Choco Churner.
- 43:15Oh, perfect.
- 43:16Come here, Choco Churner.
- 43:18Do we hear the names being across.
- 43:20The, uh, roll
- 43:23another.
- 43:24I've got a voucher
- 43:27with your name.
- 43:31The Cracker Barrel has come.
- 43:34I'm holding a voucher and waving it up in the
- 43:36air.
- 43:37Choco Cherner, uh, just
- 43:40looks at you, and he just starts aggressively.
- 43:43Uh, he's got kind of like a whirlwind of
- 43:45chocolate, um, kind of like when you go to mix
- 43:48something in a mixer, and then you lift the thing if it
- 43:51were still mixing, and it just starts shooting chocolate in every direction. He's
- 43:54just doing that. And as he does this, you can see
- 43:57Donna, who's ducking in amongst the various
- 43:59machines.
- 44:01If you come to get this Cracker
- 44:03Barrel voucher, you could use it to have
- 44:06a half off on the double chocolate fudge
- 44:09Coca Cola cake he deserves.
- 44:12That's a great reference.
- 44:15We'll try to talk Donna into yelling, giving us the codes if
- 44:18she's behind.
- 44:18Them, go for it. Do a charm.
- 44:21Oh, it's not my best quality.
- 44:24You yell that from control room.
- 44:26Exploding dice.
- 44:27Exploding dice.
- 44:30Okay, so what are you saying? What are you saying exactly?
- 44:33Uh, Donna, we need the codes off their
- 44:35backs.
- 44:36She's like, I've got two of them.
- 44:40She said Rocky Roadblocker
- 44:43ice cream cone or sorry, dish
- 44:46cone, peanut, cookie. You type
- 44:49that one in, and Rocky Roadblocker resets. And then
- 44:52she says, Mr. Fruit tastic,
- 44:54strawberry, cherry, mango,
- 44:57banana. You type that one in, and he resets.
- 45:00And he goes back, he stops firing fruit, uh, bullets at
- 45:03you. I think all you have left is Choco
- 45:06Churner. And sherbert shuffler.
- 45:08Well, I'm going to don my hard hat.
- 45:12I'm going to run in holding my voucher
- 45:15up, and I'm going to go, you're going to take this
- 45:17voucher chocolate robot.
- 45:21Are you just trying to coax him, or are you doing anything?
- 45:23I'm just running to him, and I'm going to
- 45:26wave it in front of his face to get his attention.
- 45:29I got think of the double chocolate cake,
- 45:32and I'm going to try and get his attention. And then when I get it, I'm going to
- 45:35throw it to the side and run to the like a dog.
- 45:38Like, go fetch, boy. All right, do another
- 45:40charm.
- 45:41I guess a nine.
- 45:43A nine?
- 45:44I could spend one. Might make it a ten.
- 45:46Yeah, okay. All right, I'll take that. All right. You manage
- 45:49to get his attention. You throw the voucher. Off he goes.
- 45:53And then, uh, as he's kind of stomping towards
- 45:56it, you can see on the back of his, uh,
- 45:58shoulder, you see cookie
- 46:01milk cake cone.
- 46:04Yeah, I called that out.
- 46:04Uh, all right, sounds good. And finally, he
- 46:07resets, leaving you just with Sherbert
- 46:09Shuffler, who has now made an entire
- 46:12little cube of hardened
- 46:15sherbert around himself.
- 46:17He's fortified himself?
- 46:18Yes.
- 46:19Oh, well, he's not that dangerous now.
- 46:21That's true.
- 46:22He's going to walk over to and I guess,
- 46:24uh, he's in a box. Yeah,
- 46:27I'm going to walk over. He's stuck in a box.
- 46:30It's not really doing anything like beep, beep, beep, beep.
- 46:32Uh, hey, Mr. Dunker, you got anything
- 46:35to cut through this box so we.
- 46:37Could get at least see his,
- 46:40uh.
- 46:41Mean, I don't again, this is kind of a you guys
- 46:44thing, but, I mean, use the hot hat, maybe.
- 46:46Hogan, take the take the
- 46:49computer damned up. Just roll up
- 46:52his sleeves and just walk out there
- 46:55taking off his hard hat.
- 46:56Oh, snap.
- 46:57And he's just going to start wham, slamming
- 46:59it.
- 47:00Do, uh, what is it? The b one?
- 47:02Braun.
- 47:03Braun, yeah.
- 47:03Do braun five.
- 47:04And waiting to use that. All right.
- 47:071111.
- 47:09All right.
- 47:09Twelve.
- 47:10Bam, bam, bam.
- 47:12It starts to crack. And as it does, the crack grows bigger
- 47:14and bigger until whole wall section of it
- 47:17shatters and awkwardly, as if like sitting and going to the
- 47:20bathroom. The robot is
- 47:23currently putting another layer on the opposite
- 47:26side, like that shining reference.
- 47:28Oh, yeah. Kieran.
- 47:32Um, he's fortifying the wall opposite you, and
- 47:35his whole head just kind of turns around to look at you like.
- 47:37Oh, so I'm facing his back.
- 47:40You're already facing his back.
- 47:41All right, I'm going to read the symbols and then call it out
- 47:44immediately.
- 47:44Awesome.
- 47:45So his symbols are
- 47:47sherbert, strawberry, cherry, and mango.
- 47:50I would have laughed.
- 47:51Sherbert. Sherbert. Sherbert. Sherbert.
- 47:55Hogan, are you typing that in?
- 47:57Yep. Awesome.
- 47:58All right, you type that in, and sure enough, sherbert
- 48:01powers down and resets. As he lifts up,
- 48:03uh, he looks at the sherbert that's around him, and he just
- 48:06starts to kind of, like, break it so that it falls down. And then once
- 48:09it's broken, he goes back to his section and starts filling the
- 48:12little pints of sherbert. And you guys have
- 48:15finally finished fixing
- 48:18all the AI robots.
- 48:19And Dillydunker says, all right, well done,
- 48:22everybody. Great teamwork all around. Uh,
- 48:24fantastic whack all around. Very well done. You
- 48:27fixed my robots. I'm glad that you technologically
- 48:30savvy kids could help me out with that.
- 48:33Uh, let's get out of here. And he
- 48:35leads you guys to the next room.
- 48:37As he opens up the door to the next room, you guys step inside.
- 48:40You're a little bit surprised because you step into what seems
- 48:43like a plain and simple board or meeting room.
- 48:46Uh, he asks you all to take a seat. Kind
- 48:49of motions to take seats around the area. It's almost
- 48:52like a classroom, kind of like a classroom where you got, like, the rows of seats.
- 48:55And then he's got a big area here.
- 48:56And he says, well,
- 48:59you guys did it.
- 49:00You made it through all the trials.
- 49:02And hazards of my ice cream. Satisfactory. And
- 49:05for the most part, you did it all with flying colors, and you
- 49:08worked together and I think that's really the important thing. So
- 49:11let me ask you this.
- 49:13He looks at each one of you, and then he turns to Julian, and.
- 49:15He says, julian, what
- 49:18would you do for a butterscotch
- 49:21blast off?
- 49:24Um, uh, typically, I go to my
- 49:27Cracker Barrel parents freezer, and I open it
- 49:30up, and I would just take one out and eat it.
- 49:33But let me ask you this. What would you be willing to do
- 49:36to get your hands on a butterscotch
- 49:38blaster?
- 49:39Well, typically, my quota is handing out
- 49:42at least 20 vouchers a day, so at least 20
- 49:45voucher handouts a day.
- 49:47All right.
- 49:48Okay.
- 49:48I can spike those numbers up if need be, if my parents
- 49:51are a bit of a challenge or it's the off season, but for the
- 49:54most part, 20 is my quota.
- 49:56All right, fair enough. Fantastic.
- 49:59Um, solid answer. We'll get back to that.
- 50:02He turns to Kieran, and he
- 50:05says.
- 50:06Kieran, what would you be willing to do for a
- 50:09pint of Kit Kat cookie dough?
- 50:11I mean, I can do anything,
- 50:14really. I mean, if I'm hungry for it.
- 50:17I don't know, do the dishes, make
- 50:20a meal for the family. Uh, anything that
- 50:23really makes my I mean, it's my sister's favorite flavor, so
- 50:26anything that makes her happy to get it, I'll do it.
- 50:28Good answer.
- 50:29And then he turns to, uh, Hogan.
- 50:32And he says, hogan, let me ask
- 50:34you, what would you be willing to
- 50:37do for a duck fudgers?
- 50:39I would do literally anything. I'm afraid I would die without
- 50:42them. I am so scared of
- 50:45going a day without a duck fudger.
- 50:48Oh, man, I will kill.
- 50:53I'm getting.
- 50:53The sense that you'd be willing to.
- 50:55Get quite violent duck faja.
- 50:57I would hope it doesn't come to that.
- 51:00Interesting answer. Interesting answer.
- 51:02And then he finally turns to Donna.
- 51:04And he says, donna,
- 51:06Donna, Donna, what would you be willing
- 51:09to do for a sugar free
- 51:12citrus pop? And she goes, I
- 51:15don't, uh, probably I guess I'd be willing
- 51:18to maybe put a Tweet out about it or an
- 51:20Instagram post, but I'd probably only.
- 51:22Do, like, share it by my story. I probably wouldn't do a
- 51:25full permanent post.
- 51:27Something along those lines. Maybe my snapchat. But,
- 51:29um, maybe he goes, all right.
- 51:32Well, you just see the visible confusion.
- 51:35On skunk, whatever the hell that means.
- 51:40He says, all right. Um, that was a great
- 51:43question. I know I said that was the.
- 51:44Last question, but I guess I also.
- 51:45Had to ask, what was the ice cream treat you guys each came up
- 51:48with?
- 51:49I, uh, know mine.
- 51:50Yeah, absolutely. Hogan have eddie.
- 51:52Well, as a sister treat to the duck
- 51:54fudgers, I want to create lemon loonies in
- 51:57the shape of a loon with vanilla ice
- 52:00cream and hints of lemon and lemon cookies.
- 52:03I like it. I like it. Taking something you're familiar with
- 52:05and changing it into your own spin on it. I like it very
- 52:08smart. And also a lemon flavored treat. We don't have a lot of those,
- 52:11but I feel like it's a good direction.
- 52:13And there's a giant space in the market for a treat based on
- 52:16loons.
- 52:17That's a very good point. All right. Uh,
- 52:19Kieran, what about you? Did you come up with a treat for?
- 52:23Um, yeah,
- 52:25it took me a while to get the recipe down, but it's something
- 52:28I've made myself many a times. A, uh,
- 52:31salted, uh, caramel brownie cookie
- 52:34dough.
- 52:34Oh, all right. Again, taking something that you
- 52:37are a fan of and, uh, twisting it
- 52:40into a new creation.
- 52:41All right. Very interesting.
- 52:43Going to pull out his little box that oh, yeah.
- 52:46He's going to be like, I really do want to see what these things,
- 52:49uh, add to the recipe. Though it's a much different flavor
- 52:52from the brownie batter you get at, like,
- 52:54Malwart.
- 52:55All right.
- 52:56I like the experimentation. Very nice. Very
- 52:58nice.
- 52:59What page is that recipe on?
- 53:05Oh, no, I can't do anything to.
- 53:07Hoggin because it was Philip I had the
- 53:09rumor about. Well, yeah, that's.
- 53:14Amazing.
- 53:14His grandma's definitely getting in his,
- 53:24um awesome. And then finally he turns to
- 53:27Julian.
- 53:27And he says, what about you, Julian? What did you come up
- 53:30with?
- 53:30For me, the rumor I thought of.
- 53:33I'm not really the ice cream
- 53:35expert. I, um, don't really know
- 53:38how to make it. I just know what sounds good and what's
- 53:41tasty. And while I was drinking that root beer
- 53:44soda, I had some vanilla ice
- 53:47cream with it, and I thought, what if you could put, like,
- 53:50vanilla ice cream, but then put
- 53:52root beer flavoring inside
- 53:55of the in middle of it, so that when you took a bite of
- 53:58it'd be a root beer ice cream blend?
- 54:01Don't they already have that?
- 54:03We don't hear at Dilly Dunkers?
- 54:06But I see what you mean. Sort of a, uh, root beer
- 54:09infused vanilla it's like a reverse ice
- 54:12cream float. Yeah. Interesting. Like a
- 54:15reverse Rook beer float where.
- 54:17The ice cream is the float.
- 54:19Right.
- 54:19Interesting.
- 54:20All right, well, those are fantastic ideas. What about you,
- 54:23Donna? She's like, um I don't know. I was thinking, like, something
- 54:26easily to walk with.
- 54:27So think about the idea of, like.
- 54:29An ice cream sandwich, except instead of the normal
- 54:32ice cream sandwich, where it's.
- 54:33Just like a chocolate wafer on top and bottom, and then there's ice cream in
- 54:35the middle, what if it was, like, an actual sandwich? So
- 54:38there's different flavored ice creams inside.
- 54:40So you'd have not, like, gross stuff like
- 54:43vegetables and meat and stuff, but just
- 54:46different things on the inside. So it's like multiple layers.
- 54:48All right. That's quite interesting, for sure. All
- 54:51right, well, whatever the case, that was just kind of a
- 54:54little bit of a test to see make sure.
- 54:57That you all have the creative vision.
- 54:58That I feel like needs to be running this place.
- 55:01But I know that we're at the end,
- 55:04and everybody wants to know who it is that I'm going to insert.
- 55:06As the leaders of the Dearly Dunkers
- 55:09ice cream.
- 55:10Satisfactory? And my answer
- 55:13is all of you.
- 55:16Because I have been running this company.
- 55:19Myself for far too long. And if there's one thing
- 55:22I've learned in all that time, it's that I can't
- 55:25do it myself. And I'm tired, and I've got other.
- 55:28Things I want to do.
- 55:29And believe it or not, I'm not.
- 55:30All that interested in doing ice cream anymore.
- 55:32I'm also really pretty much fresh out of my pants. So I'm
- 55:35going to go do other things, and I want you guys
- 55:38to.
- 55:39Each run the factory for me.
- 55:40But I'm going to put you all in very specific positions.
- 55:43Kieran, you're going to be the chief
- 55:46share advisor. You're going to oversee the
- 55:49factory operations. You're going to be the leadership behind the
- 55:52whole thing, making sure everything's moving.
- 55:54Properly and being handled creatively, and
- 55:57just.
- 55:57Making sure that everything's operating as it should be.
- 55:59Well, I already know. Promotion. Yeah,
- 56:02I got it I got it handled.
- 56:04Uh, you got me figured out. Look at this.
- 56:05Two one special. Cracker barrel first,
- 56:08and then you take.
- 56:09A stop at the old Dunker ice
- 56:12cream spot. We could do coupons. Franchising,
- 56:15two for one special franchising, I see
- 56:17opportunities here.
- 56:19Uh, you know what?
- 56:20I'm just going to be appreciative of.
- 56:21The fact that you're kicking around all.
- 56:24Sort of opportunities and things.
- 56:26I'm going to make you the brand ambassador,
- 56:29and you're going to be in charge of all that stuff. Basically
- 56:32everything that you just said, all the public relations.
- 56:35With that being said, Donna's going to take over as the head
- 56:37marketing consultant.
- 56:40It's really hard to say these words in an accent.
- 56:42And she's going to do consultant,
- 56:45and she's going to do all the marketing.
- 56:47Strategy and all of that kind of stuff, since it's obvious that
- 56:49she's kind.
- 56:50Of handled that stuff already. And she's like, oh, yeah, that's actually what I'm
- 56:53really good at.
- 56:53That's perfect.
- 56:54And then he turns to Hogan, and.
- 56:57He says, hogan, you're a tricky one.
- 56:59I'm not going to put you in.
- 57:00Human free sauces, because that's a dangerous place
- 57:03to put someone that's willing to.
- 57:05Kill for an ice cream.
- 57:09What I am going to put you in front of is I'm going
- 57:12to.
- 57:12Make you I'd, uh, make a great I'd make a great taste
- 57:15tester.
- 57:15Taste tester.
- 57:17All right.
- 57:19I wouldn't have to get hungry.
- 57:21That's, uh, a very good point.
- 57:22I'll make you quality control, and you'll
- 57:25be the guy that's in charge of making sure that the ice cream that
- 57:27leaves this factory is delicious,
- 57:30because you.
- 57:31Can have a brand ambassador, but if.
- 57:33Your brand sucks because the product sucks,
- 57:36then there's no point even having a brand. So you're the guy
- 57:39that makes sure the brand doesn't
- 57:41suck. And with that, I want to thank.
- 57:44You guys all for checking out my factory,
- 57:47and I hope that you'll all sign on to take over this
- 57:50factory as I retire and head out.
- 57:53Speaking of quality control, you
- 57:56made sure to get the Philip batch taken off the
- 57:59line, right?
- 58:00Oh, yeah. Uh, the Scoop troop just notified me. They got
- 58:02Philip out.
- 58:03He's just fine.
- 58:04What job is he going to have?
- 58:05Oh, no, he didn't make it through.
- 58:07So he's going to get sent back to his grandma.
- 58:09Okay, so at least his grandma won't take his inheritance.
- 58:13Well, I don't have any control over that, but okay.
- 58:16And with that, you, uh, guys all take
- 58:19over the, uh, massive ice cream and
- 58:22frozen treat company known as Dilly
- 58:24Dunker's Ice Cream Company. Uh,
- 58:28taking um over the satisfactory, maintaining, uh, it for
- 58:30years to come, and building the brand and growing the
- 58:33products, and all in all, being a successful
- 58:36group of ice, uh, cream entrepreneurs.
- 58:39Thank you guys for playing. This has been
- 58:42Dilly Dunkers Ice cream. Satisfactory. A One
