- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, this is WWE and ECW alumni, the Blue Meanie,
- 0:04Speaker 1: and you're listening to PCW.
- 0:07Speaker 2: The question is, are you ready? Let me talk to you.
- 0:18Speaker 3: I will give you a show like you have never,
- 0:21Speaker 3: ever seen before. Why?
- 0:23Speaker 4: Because I can.
- 0:25Speaker 3: What do you.
- 0:26Speaker 5: Guys want to talk about?
- 0:32Speaker 3: I am.
- 0:35Speaker 6: The B.E.S.T.
- 0:36Speaker 4: And the color red in a world full of black
- 0:42Speaker 4: and white. I am the eater of worlds.
- 0:46Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 0:47Speaker 4: If you're some man.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Come on.
- 0:59Speaker 4: And now it's me.
- 1:00Speaker 3: The champ.
- 1:03Speaker 4: He is here! But to be the man, you gotta
- 1:10Speaker 4: beat the man.
- 1:11Speaker 2: And I say, woo, right here.
- 1:15Speaker 4: There you go. The best there is, the best there was,
- 1:18Speaker 4: and the best there ever.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Will be.
- 1:27Speaker 6: He's Jesus!
- 1:28Speaker 7: He's Jesus!
- 1:29Speaker 3: He's Jesus!
- 1:31Speaker 6: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages,
- 1:33Speaker 6: welcome back to another episode of PCW Podcast Championship Wrestling.
- 1:37Speaker 6: I am your host, Wayne, also known as SemiDryChicken. This
- 1:40Speaker 6: is episode 126. Slowly moving there. We've got a bunch
- 1:47Speaker 6: of stuff for you tonight. We're going to be reviewing
- 1:49Speaker 6: Sunday Night Main Event. We're going to talk about maybe
- 1:52Speaker 6: some stuff that happened on Raw, some stuff that's coming
- 1:54Speaker 6: up for TripleMania 34 this weekend, which is Friday and Sunday.
- 1:59Speaker 3: Very weird.
- 2:00Speaker 6: We'll talk about that. And some stuff that's happened in
- 2:03Speaker 6: wrestling history this week. That and more. But with that said,
- 2:08Speaker 6: let me bring in my co-host. Dre, what fitting music
- 2:50Speaker 6: for this episode.
- 2:51Speaker 3: Yo, yo, what it do, PCW crew?
- 2:56Speaker 6: A fitting music, you know, for this episode, Dre.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Yeah, you could say that, given what happened on Sunday
- 3:03Speaker 3: night's main event.
- 3:05Speaker 6: Yeah, the fur title has stayed. All right, let's bring
- 3:14Speaker 6: him out, the other co-host. Doyle! Welcome back, buddy.
- 3:54Speaker 5: Oh, it's me, it's me, it's the D-O-Y-L-E.
- 3:56Speaker 6: Man, rough week in the wrestling biz.
- 4:00Speaker 5: Lots of couple folks. Yeah, Superstar Bill Dundee. I don't
- 4:05Speaker 5: think he was ever in the E, but he was
- 4:09Speaker 5: pretty much everywhere else.
- 4:11Speaker 8: Of course, big butcher there, Andy Williams, I think his
- 4:14Speaker 8: name is.
- 4:16Speaker 3: I liked him.
- 4:16Speaker 5: I liked the butcher and the blade. I thought....
- 4:19Speaker 8: They were a fun tag team, so that sucks. Way
- 4:21Speaker 8: too young. At least Bill Dundee was, I think, in
- 4:24Speaker 8: his 80s.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Right, right.
- 4:26Speaker 6: This guy was half his age.
- 4:27Speaker 5: Basically my age. It was terrifying. And we also lost Pharoah.
- 4:33Speaker 3: This week, who Randy.
- 4:37Speaker 8: Orton killed in a promo. Yeah, Randy Orton killed him
- 4:41Speaker 8: in a promo a couple weeks ago, but he died
- 4:44Speaker 8: in real life the other day, apparently.
- 4:46Speaker 5: So rest in peace to all three.
- 4:48Speaker 6: Right.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Yeah, rest in peace.
- 4:51Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, it is, right? It's either like, what
- 4:55Speaker 6: do they say? It always comes in threes, right?
- 5:01Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:01Speaker 6: I feel like we haven't.
- 5:02Speaker 5: Had a bunch of wrestling deaths lately. They seem to
- 5:08Speaker 5: come in bunches also.
- 5:10Speaker 9: Mm-hmm.
- 5:12Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Not really wrestling does have come in a while. You know,
- 5:15Speaker 3: we had, we got the celebrity wave. It's fine. Right.
- 5:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:20Speaker 3: Right.
- 5:20Speaker 6: It's good. Like it's, that's it. If that's all we
- 5:23Speaker 6: get taken for this year, then I'm good. Let's, let's
- 5:26Speaker 6: stop right there. Um, you know what, let's get, I'll
- 5:30Speaker 6: roll into it because this could kind of roll into it.
- 5:32Speaker 6: Remembering this week in wrestling history. Um, you know, Fritz
- 5:37Speaker 6: Von Eric passed away in 1997. Uh, that's cool. Somebody
- 5:42Speaker 6: passed away this week. Birthdays this week. Trevor Murdoch, Matt Morgan,
- 5:52Speaker 6: Don Morocco, Superstar Billy Graham. Yeah, all birthdays this week.
- 6:01Speaker 6: Let's see some historic WWE TV moments. This week in
- 6:06Speaker 6: 2001 gave us the final episode ever branded Raw is War.
- 6:10Speaker 6: After September 11th, the name changed permanently, so this week
- 6:13Speaker 6: marks the end of an era. The Rock defended the
- 6:17Speaker 6: WCW title, Austin was running wild, and the Attitude Era
- 6:21Speaker 6: was still firing on all cylinders. Also, we talked about
- 6:27Speaker 6: this last episode is a jump to 2007. This week
- 6:32Speaker 6: also gave us the most bizarre reveals in WWE history.
- 6:36Speaker 6: Hornswoggle is Vince McMahon's illegitimate son. Peak WWE, peak chaos,
- 6:43Speaker 6: peak what the fuck am I watching, you know?
- 6:47Speaker 5: We just talked about that last week.
- 6:49Speaker 6: Exactly, right? Title changes that happened this week in history.
- 6:53Speaker 6: In 2001, during the Wild Invasion era, the WWF hardcore
- 6:59Speaker 6: title bounced between Rob Van Dam and Kurt Angle because,
- 7:04Speaker 6: of course it did, right? That's what the hardcore title did.
- 7:06Speaker 6: It changed more hands than the hot day at a
- 7:09Speaker 6: family reunion. We also had Tajiri win the WCW title
- 7:14Speaker 6: the same week. And we saw multiple WWE 24-7 title changes.
- 7:23Speaker 6: Between Dana Brooke, Tamina, Nikki Ash, and even the referee
- 7:28Speaker 6: Eddie Orango. All held gold this week in WWE history. Hey, uh, crazy, right? Uh,
- 7:39Speaker 6: big matches and shows. Um, do you guys remember back
- 7:42Speaker 6: in 2021 when Seth Rollins and edge were feuding? They were, uh,
- 7:48Speaker 6: the two went at it on SmackDown and one of
- 7:50Speaker 6: their best TV matches of their rivalry. Rollins was in
- 7:54Speaker 6: the full, I'm going to end edges career, you know,
- 7:59Speaker 6: mode and edge was fighting like a man who refused
- 8:01Speaker 6: to let history repeat itself. Um, uh, I guess in 1998,
- 8:08Speaker 6: when WCW was still going, it was featuring Goldberg, Kevin Nash,
- 8:14Speaker 6: Bret Hart, Kurt Henning, all within the same show. Peak WCW. So, yeah, that,
- 8:23Speaker 6: that's what I got for, like, things that happened this
- 8:26Speaker 6: weekend in wrestling history, and I think I'm gonna continue
- 8:30Speaker 6: to do this every episode, bring this up. It's kind
- 8:33Speaker 6: of interesting. You know, uh, You learned some stuff that
- 8:37Speaker 6: you didn't know or you totally forgot about or stuff
- 8:40Speaker 6: that you want to forget about.
- 8:42Speaker 3: Respectfully, 1998 was not peak WCW.
- 8:49Speaker 6: Okay, yeah. What was peak WCW for you guys? That
- 8:54Speaker 6: was more or less the downfall.
- 8:56Speaker 3: 96?
- 8:56Speaker 6: Okay.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Honestly, 96, 97 was peak WCW.
- 9:02Speaker 6: So if you guys were to go back and watch.
- 9:05Speaker 3: When the NWO was fresh and when Sting won a
- 9:08Speaker 3: year without talking, that was WCW at its peak. That's
- 9:12Speaker 3: when they were beating the shit out of Monday Night
- 9:16Speaker 3: Raw week after week. I would say that was the peak.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Pretty much after Starrcade 97, it started to go downhill
- 9:28Speaker 3: for Starrcade. That was WCW's opportunity to put WWF down
- 9:34Speaker 3: for the count because that was the Sting-Hogan match at
- 9:38Speaker 3: Starrcade 97. That was supposed to be the climax of
- 9:42Speaker 3: this whole NWO-WCW storyline, or at least the big payoff
- 9:48Speaker 3: of all this shit, and they fumbled it so fucking
- 9:51Speaker 3: bad and just never got back right.
- 9:58Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 9:59Speaker 3: I mean, 97... well you could maybe if there's anything
- 10:03Speaker 3: you could give them WCW in 98 that was the
- 10:06Speaker 3: year of Goldberg right so they still had that going
- 10:09Speaker 3: for them but I wouldn't I would still say the
- 10:12Speaker 3: year before was still more peak right okay.
- 10:16Speaker 8: Yeah, I would say by 98 it's starting to tail off.
- 10:20Speaker 5: But we always talk about how cyclical things are, right?
- 10:23Speaker 5: And the company's only around for another year or two
- 10:25Speaker 5: after that.
- 10:26Speaker 3: Right.
- 10:27Speaker 8: And so they were shitty, you know, that following, you know,
- 10:30Speaker 8: maybe in 99 or 2000. But they were.
- 10:33Speaker 3: Actually kind of on the upswing again. Yeah.
- 10:37Speaker 8: Yeah, but they were on the upswing again when they
- 10:39Speaker 8: got sold. Like, they had just put together a couple
- 10:42Speaker 8: good shows in a row. And it looked like they
- 10:44Speaker 8: were starting to get their acting back together.
- 10:46Speaker 5: And then, of course, the fucking bottom fell out.
- 10:50Speaker 3: Well, by that point, yeah, they were starting to get
- 10:53Speaker 3: it back together, seemingly getting back right. But by that point,
- 10:57Speaker 3: the AOL-Time Warner merger, I believe, had gone through. And
- 11:03Speaker 3: they wanted nothing to do with wrestling whatsoever. They wanted
- 11:06Speaker 3: that shit gone from the television. So they pretty much...
- 11:12Speaker 3: I don't know if they pulled the funding, but they
- 11:14Speaker 3: were just pretty much like, get this shit the fuck
- 11:16Speaker 3: out of here. And the value was low enough to win.
- 11:20Speaker 3: And the brand was low enough so that when Vince
- 11:22Speaker 3: came knocking, he was like, here, take it.
- 11:23Speaker 6: Bye.
- 11:24Speaker 3: Fuck out of here. Please.
- 11:26Speaker 6: Yeah. You guys know, uh, we just reached, like I
- 11:31Speaker 6: saw posts recently, uh, like a threshold where we've now
- 11:36Speaker 6: been in the WWE longer than we were in the WWF.
- 11:42Speaker 6: So is that, name change. That's crazy, man. Um, to me,
- 11:46Speaker 6: that's like the feeling of, um, when you reach a
- 11:50Speaker 6: certain age and you're like, man, I've lived on my
- 11:52Speaker 6: own longer than I lived with my parents. You know
- 11:57Speaker 6: what I mean? You reach, you cross that threshold. You're like,
- 11:59Speaker 6: I've been out on my own longer than I've lived
- 12:01Speaker 6: with you guys. Uh, I don't know. Just trying to relate.
- 12:06Speaker 6: But yeah, the, the, the wow factor of that, like, well,
- 12:10Speaker 6: I remember when that name change happened, the, Get the
- 12:13Speaker 6: F out. I used to see the logo of the
- 12:18Speaker 6: two panda bears with steel chairs beating the shit out
- 12:20Speaker 6: of each other. I've seen t-shirts like that. I don't
- 12:25Speaker 6: know many people who have a lot of WWF gear anymore.
- 12:31Speaker 6: That stuff is starting to disappear. If you see anything
- 12:35Speaker 6: with an F on it, you might want to grab
- 12:37Speaker 6: it and get your hands on it. Yeah, I'm looking
- 12:42Speaker 6: around my room. I have maybe one thing that I
- 12:45Speaker 6: have that has a WWF. Everything else is WWE in
- 12:49Speaker 6: my house. Crazy.
- 12:51Speaker 8: My copy of Have a Nice Day has a WWF
- 12:56Speaker 8: scratch logo on it.
- 12:57Speaker 6: Whoa. That's about all I can think of that I have. Right.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Okay.
- 13:08Speaker 6: Let's move on to TripleMania for this weekend. I guess
- 13:13Speaker 6: this is, if you guys can help me out here,
- 13:15Speaker 6: is this AAA's version of WrestleMania? TripleMania, I would assume.
- 13:20Speaker 6: I mean, it's a two-night event. It's very odd. Night
- 13:27Speaker 6: one is going to be on Friday, and night two
- 13:29Speaker 6: is going to be on Sunday. So, that's cool.
- 13:34Speaker 7: College football, probably, or some other reason, or WWE may
- 13:42Speaker 7: shove some shit in on Saturday.
- 13:45Speaker 3: Who knows?
- 13:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 13:47Speaker 6: And it looks like we're going to have, uh, you know,
- 13:51Speaker 6: some familiar names from our main rosters on Raw and SmackDown.
- 13:56Speaker 6: We have, uh, Roxanne Perez going over and having a match. Uh,
- 14:00Speaker 6: she's going to be in a fatal four-way match with the, uh, AAA, uh,
- 14:05Speaker 6: Renya D, was that Renya?
- 14:08Speaker 3: Renya?
- 14:09Speaker 6: D championship?
- 14:11Speaker 2: Wow.
- 14:12Speaker 6: I'm butchering these names right now.
- 14:16Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm not jumping on that hand grenade. Sorry, pal.
- 14:20Speaker 6: Okay, we got the Latino World Order. The LWO is
- 14:25Speaker 6: still a fucking thing. They're in a Fatal 4-Way Tag
- 14:28Speaker 6: Match with Los Americanos and Fraxium and the Tokyo Bad Boys. Interesting.
- 14:41Speaker 6: We do have La Parca versus Laredo Kid versus Mr. Iguana.
- 14:47Speaker 6: We also have a bunch of clowns. We have Dave
- 14:51Speaker 6: the Clown, Murder Clown, and Panic Clown. We have those
- 14:56Speaker 6: guys wrestling. Rey Mysterio. I guess the main event for
- 15:01Speaker 6: night one is Rey Mysterio with El Grande Americano versus
- 15:06Speaker 6: Omos with Dominic Mysterio. Big Omos. Yeah, Omos.
- 15:11Speaker 5: I think it's Omos has to leave.
- 15:15Speaker 8: If Omos wins, he gets reinstated to AAA, and if
- 15:18Speaker 8: he loses, he has to leave AAA.
- 15:21Speaker 3: Pretty much, yeah. If Ray wins, Omos is banned, permanently
- 15:25Speaker 3: banned from AAA.
- 15:26Speaker 6: Yeah, but somebody loses in this bet, right? I mean, like,
- 15:31Speaker 6: if we get him on the main roster, I think
- 15:32Speaker 6: we lose, right? We should keep him.
- 15:34Speaker 3: He ain't coming to the main roster.
- 15:35Speaker 6: You know that. Right where he's at. He's a giant
- 15:41Speaker 6: fish in a small pond.
- 15:43Speaker 5: Literally.
- 15:44Speaker 3: And he's more over there than he's ever been on
- 15:46Speaker 3: the main roster.
- 15:47Speaker 6: Exactly. Yeah. We got our big man on Raw and SmackDown,
- 15:54Speaker 6: so we're good. Ray Phoenix. This is night two, by
- 15:59Speaker 6: the way. Ray Phoenix or Ricky Sainz versus Jack Cartwheel
- 16:05Speaker 6: versus Mini vikingo versus nathan frazier fatal four-way for the
- 16:11Speaker 6: triple-a yeah that's why that's why right that's why i
- 16:21Speaker 6: said it's so weird.
- 16:22Speaker 5: Him and say you know what i need a smaller
- 16:24Speaker 5: version of this.
- 16:25Speaker 6: Guy yeah uh all we got a 15 man battle
- 16:31Speaker 6: royal looks like we got the uh the war raiders
- 16:36Speaker 6: uh They're going to be versing either Damian Priest and
- 16:41Speaker 6: R-Truth or another team that has not been announced. We
- 16:46Speaker 6: have another clown match in a Mexican street fight.
- 16:50Speaker 3: Well, it's either the War Raiders or Damian Priest and R-Truth.
- 16:55Speaker 3: I'm assuming that's because there's probably going to be a
- 16:58Speaker 3: tag team title match on SmackDown or something.
- 17:02Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 17:03Speaker 3: I guess whichever one of them wins.
- 17:05Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 17:06Speaker 3: The other triple a world tag team title match, which
- 17:08Speaker 3: will probably still be the war Raiders, right? They'll take
- 17:11Speaker 3: on some team to be announced.
- 17:16Speaker 6: Uh, but the most interesting match on both these cards
- 17:21Speaker 6: is Dominic Mysterio versus El Grande Americano for this triple
- 17:25Speaker 6: a mega championship. Now Dom has been holding this for
- 17:30Speaker 6: quite some time. Uh, you know, quick, quick glance here.
- 17:34Speaker 6: Looking back, it, I mean, he's held it.
- 17:36Speaker 3: In a mere year.
- 17:37Speaker 6: Yeah, dude, like, September 12th. Yo, dude, yeah. September 12th, 2025.
- 17:43Speaker 6: World collide in Las Vegas.
- 17:46Speaker 3: Wow.
- 17:49Speaker 6: How time flies.
- 17:51Speaker 3: So, uh.
- 17:52Speaker 6: This is where he loses it, right? I mean, what
- 17:55Speaker 6: a perfect wrap-up. One day... Oh, no, it'll be exactly
- 17:59Speaker 6: one year, yeah. So, what a day to lose it.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Um.
- 18:04Speaker 6: I would think to lose it to somebody who's really
- 18:06Speaker 6: over still, I think, over there, El Grande Americano, that'd
- 18:11Speaker 6: be awesome. Hopefully, we don't get a lot of Judgment Day. Yeah,
- 18:20Speaker 6: I don't want any Judgment Day to interfere. Let's make
- 18:22Speaker 6: it a... That'd be cool if it was a nice,
- 18:25Speaker 6: clean win. We'll see.
- 18:26Speaker 8: I don't care if they interfere as long as El
- 18:29Speaker 8: Grande Americano wins.
- 18:30Speaker 5: Let them interfere all they want.
- 18:34Speaker 8: The scuttlebutt is that Sunday is going to be crazy.
- 18:37Speaker 5: The other butt's going to be good shows.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Of course, but Sunday is going to be crazy. Whatever
- 18:42Speaker 3: that means. And you know what's the craziest thing about Dom?
- 18:49Speaker 3: He's had that AAA Mega Championship for just about a year.
- 18:55Speaker 3: As we already mentioned. Anybody care to guess how many
- 18:59Speaker 3: title defenses he's had in the year? I don't know. Three.
- 19:07Speaker 6: Probably like Roman Reigns worthy, like five, right?
- 19:13Speaker 3: No, not just one. This one Sunday against El Grande
- 19:19Speaker 3: Americano will literally be his third title defense.
- 19:24Speaker 6: What the fuck? Must be like a Judgment Day thing.
- 19:29Speaker 6: You don't have to defend your titles very often.
- 19:35Speaker 3: I'm sorry, correction, correction. It'll be his fourth. Okay, well
- 19:40Speaker 3: that makes a huge difference. I was skimming through IWDB
- 19:43Speaker 3: and I missed one, yeah. His fourth defense of the
- 19:47Speaker 3: title in a year.
- 19:54Speaker 6: Well, you know, he's a champion. You don't have to
- 19:58Speaker 6: defend it all the time, right?
- 20:01Speaker 8: Yeah, you could argue he's doing more for that belt
- 20:03Speaker 8: by having it on Raw every week than he is
- 20:05Speaker 8: by defending it.
- 20:09Speaker 3: I don't know how strong of an argument that is,
- 20:11Speaker 3: but okay.
- 20:13Speaker 6: It's on TV.
- 20:15Speaker 5: People have never even heard of it.
- 20:18Speaker 3: I would say that he would be doing more for
- 20:21Speaker 3: it if he was on Raw every week doing something substantial.
- 20:27Speaker 3: I think the fact that he's been on Raw every
- 20:29Speaker 3: week getting his ass handed to him by the likes
- 20:32Speaker 3: of Joe Hendry I think is actually hurting the title more.
- 20:38Speaker 3: then it is benefiting it. Because it's basically making a
- 20:44Speaker 3: legitimate world champion look like a joke. And to me,
- 20:52Speaker 3: that should not happen with a world champion. I don't
- 20:55Speaker 3: care if it's he ain't a WWE champion. It's AAA.
- 21:00Speaker 3: He's still a world champion. And that deserves a level
- 21:03Speaker 3: of respect that, quite frankly, he has not been shown
- 21:06Speaker 3: at all on Raw. And in quite some time.
- 21:11Speaker 6: Yeah, more or less is when he had that and
- 21:14Speaker 6: the IC title at the same time. May have been
- 21:18Speaker 6: peak of that.
- 21:20Speaker 3: Pretty much.
- 21:21Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 21:22Speaker 3: That's pretty much when he peaked. When he was a
- 21:25Speaker 3: double champion.
- 21:26Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 21:27Speaker 5: Yep.
- 21:28Speaker 6: Yep, and everybody in Jasmine Davis holding gold at one point. But, yeah,
- 21:35Speaker 6: so that. Is that going to be on YouTube? Is
- 21:39Speaker 6: that where we can catch this? Where do you guys know?
- 21:43Speaker 6: I didn't see where that's advertised.
- 21:47Speaker 3: Where to catch it?
- 21:49Speaker 6: It is a great question. Fantastic question. Even on the poster,
- 21:54Speaker 6: you think you would tell me? Well, you know what?
- 21:59Speaker 6: Everybody just, I'm sure, will find it somewhere. Uh, yeah,
- 22:06Speaker 6: I don't know. I have no idea. I would think
- 22:09Speaker 6: since WWE is partaking, it would be on like Peacock,
- 22:14Speaker 6: you know, uh, like the same treatment we get for
- 22:17Speaker 6: Sunday night main event or we get for, I don't know.
- 22:23Speaker 3: NXT.
- 22:24Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 22:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:27Speaker 6: Yeah. You wouldn't think it would just get like a
- 22:29Speaker 6: normal YouTube, right? Like, Where can I watch? Let me see.
- 22:36Speaker 6: Where can I watch Triple Media?
- 22:43Speaker 3: Yeah, it's on YouTube.
- 22:45Speaker 6: Oh, man, look at that. YouTube channel.
- 22:48Speaker 3: Pretty much all the AAA stuff is on YouTube.
- 22:52Speaker 6: Yeah, I was surprised it didn't go to Peacock, but
- 22:55Speaker 6: I guess that's where their fan base is. Stay where
- 22:58Speaker 6: they're at, I guess, right?
- 23:00Speaker 3: Only thing Peacock gets is the main event.
- 23:05Speaker 11: Ah yeah and and i think they get all the
- 23:09Speaker 11: uh all the um biography shows and the rivals and
- 23:15Speaker 11: all those like any documentary shows they do where they
- 23:19Speaker 11: you know the ones there's the one where they send
- 23:21Speaker 11: somebody going looking after under the giants boots from wrestlemania
- 23:25Speaker 11: 2 or you know they.
- 23:27Speaker 3: Didn't still make produce those shows anymore I don't even know.
- 23:31Speaker 5: At least some of them. They definitely do the Rivals
- 23:34Speaker 5: and like.
- 23:38Speaker 6: They might come back with Total Divas for you.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Oh, that would be fun.
- 23:45Speaker 6: It's always funny seeing Total Divas and they talk about
- 23:49Speaker 6: storylines and shit that's like, oh yeah, that was last year.
- 23:51Speaker 6: We're not interested in last year's storylines. Anyway. Anyway. Yeah,
- 23:59Speaker 6: so that's TripleMania this weekend. Check it out if you
- 24:01Speaker 6: have time. TripleMania 34. I'll definitely be checking that out.
- 24:07Speaker 8: The great thing about those shows is you don't really
- 24:10Speaker 8: have to watch it every week.
- 24:12Speaker 12: And they do a really good job of like, if
- 24:15Speaker 12: you just watch.
- 24:15Speaker 5: It, you'll figure out what's going on. They don't bury
- 24:18Speaker 5: it deep in lore and shit. So they do make
- 24:22Speaker 5: it easy to pick it up. I tried watching Stardom.
- 24:27Speaker 5: Holy fuck. That's the total opposite. It's like a Japanese promotion.
- 24:33Speaker 5: There's so much history and lore and.
- 24:37Speaker 6: Oh my god.
- 24:39Speaker 3: My head's spinning.
- 24:40Speaker 6: It's too much.
- 24:43Speaker 3: Too much.
- 24:44Speaker 6: Was it?
- 24:44Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 24:45Speaker 6: Overwhelming. Well, I mean, hell, sometimes with as much stuff
- 24:50Speaker 6: that we have to watch, it's overwhelming. Thankfully, we as
- 24:55Speaker 6: fans in the podcast here, we Spread out our wrestling knowledge.
- 25:00Speaker 6: Not all of us are tuning in to NXT. Not
- 25:03Speaker 6: all of us are tuning in to AEW or TNA.
- 25:07Speaker 6: But we have our ear to the ground. We know
- 25:08Speaker 6: what's going on. I see some videos from AEW make
- 25:14Speaker 6: it to my phone. And then I even get some
- 25:17Speaker 6: indie stuff. Sometimes I tag you guys in some indie
- 25:20Speaker 6: stuff that I see. Just some off-the-wall shit. There's one
- 25:24Speaker 6: I tagged you guys in the other day. Some guy...
- 25:26Speaker 6: Taking a suicide dive through the ropes and hitting this
- 25:30Speaker 6: fucking pillar. That was the ones that hold up the building.
- 25:34Speaker 6: And I was like, oh, why, dude? Why? So, that
- 25:41Speaker 6: is always fun to see.
- 25:46Speaker 3: Yeah, anyway.
- 25:48Speaker 6: Do you guys want to talk about Sunday Night Maid event?
- 25:50Speaker 6: And then, if you guys want to, we can catch
- 25:52Speaker 6: up on some Monday Night Raw stuff that happened. If
- 25:57Speaker 6: you guys were able to catch Monday Night Raw, it
- 25:59Speaker 6: was a little bit of wrestling, a lot of entrances,
- 26:03Speaker 6: and a shitload of ads. So even now when I
- 26:10Speaker 6: want to, like if I miss Raw and I need
- 26:13Speaker 6: to catch up, even the catching up is painful because
- 26:17Speaker 6: it's like fast forward, fast forward, ads. Seven ads. Seven
- 26:22Speaker 6: goddamn same fucking ads. And then I'll get back to WWE.
- 26:29Speaker 6: And I was like, oh, no. I fast forwarded too far.
- 26:31Speaker 6: I have to rewind.
- 26:32Speaker 3: Rewind.
- 26:33Speaker 6: Oh, you got to watch four more ads. What the fuck?
- 26:39Speaker 6: It's just getting worse and worse when it comes to
- 26:41Speaker 6: watching Raw. Like, it's just, it hurts. Like, it's exhausting
- 26:47Speaker 6: just watching fucking ads. Sometimes you just want the fucking
- 26:50Speaker 6: cliff notes. Just so you can get, you know, get the,
- 26:54Speaker 6: so you don't get the FOMO, you know? your fear
- 26:57Speaker 6: of missing out of what's going on on Monday Night Raw.
- 27:00Speaker 6: But it took me almost two days to get through
- 27:03Speaker 6: Raw because I was just like, the fucking ads. I'm done.
- 27:06Speaker 6: I was falling asleep during a fucking ad. I was like,
- 27:09Speaker 6: I gotta do this tomorrow. I don't have time to
- 27:11Speaker 6: watch this ad again. So I just had to rant
- 27:17Speaker 6: there for a second about ads.
- 27:18Speaker 5: It is always the same ad.
- 27:20Speaker 6: It is! It's the same fucking one! If you would
- 27:22Speaker 6: at least change it up a little bit, maybe it
- 27:25Speaker 6: wouldn't be so fucking bad. But you're literally having the
- 27:28Speaker 6: same goddamn ads after ads.
- 27:31Speaker 5: And then... I'm.
- 27:34Speaker 6: Not going into Raw. I'm just going into bitching about
- 27:37Speaker 6: something that's bothering me on Raw. But again, man, I
- 27:41Speaker 6: caught Michael Cole doing it again where there's nothing on
- 27:43Speaker 6: the screen and he's just having a conversation with Corey Graves.
- 27:47Speaker 6: He quickly slips in a five-second ad and then goes
- 27:51Speaker 6: back to talking about whatever he was talking about. And
- 27:54Speaker 6: it doesn't show up on the screen. It's not in the...
- 27:58Speaker 6: I don't remember what it is. I gotta start writing
- 28:00Speaker 6: this shit down. Because when it happens, I'm like, what
- 28:03Speaker 6: the fuck was that about? Like, he really comes off
- 28:08Speaker 6: like a fucking robot. Dre, you've been quiet. Do you
- 28:15Speaker 6: want to talk about Sunday night main event here?
- 28:21Speaker 3: Sure, sure. Dive into the matches or.
- 28:25Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, like, was there... It doesn't matter. We
- 28:29Speaker 6: could do that, too. I mean, like, there was... Was
- 28:31Speaker 6: there a dark match that I missed? Dominic versus Joe Hendry?
- 28:38Speaker 3: Maybe? I don't know.
- 28:39Speaker 5: Yeah, I.
- 28:40Speaker 3: If it was, Dominic probably lost, which is just disrespect
- 28:42Speaker 3: to him more, and I don't even want to acknowledge
- 28:45Speaker 3: that bullshit.
- 28:47Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean.
- 28:48Speaker 5: This show already feels like it was a month ago.
- 28:50Speaker 6: Oh, yeah, because, I mean.
- 28:54Speaker 5: Look, So non-memorable.
- 28:59Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 29:01Speaker 3: It wasn't the most memorable thing. I don't know that
- 29:04Speaker 3: I would say it was non-memorable. I think, honestly, overall,
- 29:09Speaker 3: it wasn't bad. I would actually say this was actually
- 29:12Speaker 3: a fairly decent Sunday Night Main Event compared to ones
- 29:17Speaker 3: we've gotten in the past just because we got quality matches,
- 29:22Speaker 3: we got actual finishes and not just a bunch of Mm-hmm. Yeah. Like,
- 29:32Speaker 3: things actually... We actually had a title change. I mean,
- 29:36Speaker 3: that's much more than we've gotten from some Saturday Night
- 29:39Speaker 3: Main events in the past where they've just been, you know,
- 29:42Speaker 3: fluff promo bullshit. So, I mean, we got a noteworthy return. So,
- 29:50Speaker 3: I mean, I'd say this one, for what it's worth,
- 29:52Speaker 3: was relatively eventful. I mean, I definitely... We got more
- 29:57Speaker 3: than I expected to get out of the Braun and
- 30:00Speaker 3: Oba match. Even the, the Yachty segment, the Yachty five
- 30:05Speaker 3: minutes was entertaining at the least. I want to say
- 30:09Speaker 3: the only thing on this match on this card that
- 30:11Speaker 3: I would say I was down on was the women's
- 30:14Speaker 3: tag team match, which I felt, yeah, that was pretty inconsequential.
- 30:22Speaker 6: Yeah. Uh, I mean, for me, We did kind of
- 30:32Speaker 6: get the idea of what was going to happen with
- 30:34Speaker 6: the United States title. We kind of predicted that, right?
- 30:36Speaker 6: He's going to trickle in. He's going to come out,
- 30:42Speaker 6: put on a chaotic, comedic, surprisingly entertaining show with coming
- 30:48Speaker 6: out with money and the big entrance and stuff. And he,
- 30:53Speaker 6: like most guys, celebrities when they wrestle their own, uh,
- 30:58Speaker 6: rely heavily on the evasive tactics, you know, using weapons
- 31:02Speaker 6: and whatever in pure desperation. Uh, but he got the
- 31:06Speaker 6: kendo stick, you know, beating the shit out of, of
- 31:10Speaker 6: Corbin with that. And, you know, I always think it's
- 31:12Speaker 6: funny when the kendo stick like starts to shatter and
- 31:15Speaker 6: break because it definitely hurts a hell of a lot
- 31:19Speaker 6: more getting the splinters in you. Cause sometimes you see
- 31:21Speaker 6: wrestlers get cut out pretty bad from those kendo sticks. Uh,
- 31:26Speaker 6: there was a obviously there was he had one minute
- 31:29Speaker 6: left on the clock he got the end of days
- 31:32Speaker 6: and he hit it twice I think twice yeah exactly
- 31:35Speaker 6: and I was like I was like alright let's go
- 31:38Speaker 6: home come on Corbin let's take it home early I
- 31:41Speaker 6: bet that motorcycle you could have kept that thing fucking
- 31:43Speaker 6: running you didn't even have to turn it off and
- 31:46Speaker 6: this fucking guy what the fuck are you doing after
- 31:53Speaker 6: that one minute man he kept fucking around and, um,
- 31:57Speaker 6: you know, he set up the table, you know, the
- 32:00Speaker 6: table spot, and I will always give wrestlers props for, like,
- 32:03Speaker 6: when they had that countdown on the screen, how accurate
- 32:06Speaker 6: they are sometimes with, you know, hitting those moves and
- 32:10Speaker 6: ending the match when they have to, but, you know,
- 32:13Speaker 6: this one just ended with a low blow and at
- 32:14Speaker 6: the top of the ropes, and then eventually he did
- 32:17Speaker 6: take the spot, uh, yeah, good for him for taking
- 32:23Speaker 6: a table spot, uh, It made sense. Yeah, it made sense.
- 32:28Speaker 3: He didn't look like complete dog shit in the ring.
- 32:31Speaker 3: He had a good person like Baron Corbin to carry
- 32:34Speaker 3: him through.
- 32:35Speaker 6: Yep.
- 32:36Speaker 3: Pretty much the moment he hit the end of days
- 32:38Speaker 3: and picked him up, I was like, oh, okay, I
- 32:40Speaker 3: see where we're going. He's going to get cocky and
- 32:43Speaker 3: drag this shit out in a fucking round of that
- 32:44Speaker 3: five-minute pass.
- 32:46Speaker 6: Yep, yep. And, you know, as soon as Trick Williams
- 32:50Speaker 6: came out, we got a pretty good, you know, Rematch here.
- 32:56Speaker 3: You got a hero's pop.
- 32:59Speaker 6: Yeah, for sure.
- 33:00Speaker 3: Once that countdown hit, everybody knew. Like, okay, here comes Trick.
- 33:04Speaker 3: And as soon as that music hit, that pop he
- 33:07Speaker 3: got was massive. That was a true hero's pop that
- 33:11Speaker 3: he got.
- 33:13Speaker 6: So, happy that Trick Williams got the title again. I said, though,
- 33:18Speaker 6: I would have liked to have seen him in the
- 33:20Speaker 6: Money in the Bank picture. But, okay, we're going to
- 33:23Speaker 6: run this back. Why not? But where does that leave
- 33:27Speaker 6: Baron Corbin? I mean, this guy came back for, I mean,
- 33:35Speaker 6: one title match? Is he going to go put his
- 33:39Speaker 6: nose in maybe a heavyweight title contender now that he's
- 33:43Speaker 6: done with this? I want my United States title back.
- 33:47Speaker 6: Is this going to be a flip-flop between these two?
- 33:51Speaker 3: Oh, God.
- 33:52Speaker 6: My worst fear is the best of seven matches. For
- 33:56Speaker 6: a title, the IC title of the United States. That's
- 33:59Speaker 6: like my worst fear. I was like, oh God, please,
- 34:01Speaker 6: let's not run this back seven times.
- 34:02Speaker 3: No, you only do a best of seven when you've
- 34:06Speaker 3: got two guys in the ring that can really, legitimately cook.
- 34:10Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 34:12Speaker 3: Like a Benoit Booker T you run that shit with. Yes, sir.
- 34:15Speaker 5: They do that twice, right?
- 34:18Speaker 6: Huh? Was it Benoit and Eddie Guerrero?
- 34:21Speaker 5: Two best of sevens.
- 34:23Speaker 6: They might have.
- 34:24Speaker 3: I know they did one over the... They did one.
- 34:27Speaker 6: In WCW and they did one in the E.
- 34:29Speaker 3: They did it again in the E over the US title.
- 34:31Speaker 6: Seamus and Cesaro.
- 34:33Speaker 3: I remember the most interesting one they did over the
- 34:36Speaker 3: world television title back in WCW. They did it over
- 34:39Speaker 3: the TV title. Yeah. Then we just got one Mello
- 34:46Speaker 3: and Andrade ran a best of seven series. Even though
- 34:51Speaker 3: it wasn't officially best of seven, they just kind of
- 34:53Speaker 3: turned it into one.
- 34:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 34:57Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 34:58Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 35:02Speaker 6: No, I mean, this was the match that I saw
- 35:04Speaker 6: that opened. Apparently, there was a Dom versus Joe Henry.
- 35:09Speaker 6: It was a six-minute match. But, like, of course, Dom
- 35:11Speaker 6: came out with JD McDonough, Liv Morgan, Raquel, and Roxanne.
- 35:15Speaker 6: And Joe Henry was just by himself. Former TNA champion,
- 35:21Speaker 6: by the way. This is what he's doing. But I
- 35:24Speaker 6: guess that's, uh, kind of knew what schtick was happening
- 35:27Speaker 6: with Joe Hendry.
- 35:27Speaker 5: Yeah, they're fumbling him hard.
- 35:29Speaker 6: Right? I mean, he, he, I think Pete.
- 35:32Speaker 5: They're fumbling the Hendry football hard.
- 35:34Speaker 6: Pete and Joe Hendry is when he came out and
- 35:36Speaker 6: fought Randy Orton at WrestleMania. After that, that was it.
- 35:41Speaker 6: That was it. He got RKO'd to the bottom of
- 35:44Speaker 6: the barrel.
- 35:46Speaker 5: Whew.
- 35:48Speaker 2: Uh.
- 35:49Speaker 6: Do you guys want to move into the next match?
- 35:51Speaker 6: Do you guys still want to talk about this first match?
- 35:55Speaker 3: We can talk about it all we can about the
- 35:57Speaker 3: first match. Yeah, yeah.
- 36:00Speaker 6: I got nothing else to add.
- 36:01Speaker 5: Go ahead. Dre, you said you got a hero's welcome,
- 36:05Speaker 5: and you did. But he doesn't act like a hero.
- 36:08Speaker 5: You know, like.
- 36:10Speaker 8: he has to have his lackey have a match with
- 36:12Speaker 8: the guy first, and then the lackey's entourage gets involved
- 36:17Speaker 8: in that, and then he has to have the lackey
- 36:19Speaker 8: interfere again in his match.
- 36:22Speaker 5: Like, he is a babyface, but he sure as fuck
- 36:25Speaker 5: doesn't act like a babyface. I just completely kind of
- 36:29Speaker 5: refuse it.
- 36:30Speaker 3: Well, to an extent, but the stipulation is kind of
- 36:32Speaker 3: what makes it work, because it's usually, if your lackey's
- 36:35Speaker 3: doing something, you put your lackey out there to beat,
- 36:39Speaker 3: to soften up the person like your lackey is the
- 36:41Speaker 3: guy like go out there do some heel shit beat
- 36:44Speaker 3: up the guy who i don't want to face to
- 36:46Speaker 3: soften him up so i can come and pick the
- 36:48Speaker 3: bones right and i'm saying that's what a heel would
- 36:51Speaker 3: normally do that's not what this was this was his
- 36:55Speaker 3: friend going out and basically sacrificing himself to get him
- 36:59Speaker 3: to get trick a title shot that's very much baby
- 37:02Speaker 3: face behavior Otherwise, like, Trick doesn't have a title shot
- 37:06Speaker 3: unless his buddy goes out there and basically gets his
- 37:09Speaker 3: ass kicked for five minutes.
- 37:12Speaker 12: And it's also, like, a reverse of how this usually works,
- 37:15Speaker 12: which is usually it's you gotta go through the heel
- 37:20Speaker 12: so you can get five minutes with the asshole manager.
- 37:23Speaker 5: You know, it's kind of like the other way around.
- 37:26Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, when the heel has the when the heel
- 37:30Speaker 3: has the stable and he has the crew and you
- 37:32Speaker 3: gotta run through the whole crew to get to the
- 37:35Speaker 3: main guy.
- 37:36Speaker 8: Yeah, so you can get five minutes with Bobby the
- 37:38Speaker 8: Brain and wail on him, or Jimmy Hart, or whoever,
- 37:42Speaker 8: or Cornette.
- 37:44Speaker 5: I just found the whole thing odd, because it just
- 37:48Speaker 5: seemed everything was in reverse. Reverse order for everything.
- 37:51Speaker 3: The only thing I really did, I would say I
- 37:53Speaker 3: found odd, was the fact that they called the guys, like,
- 37:57Speaker 3: you know, Yachty's crew, or Yachty's boys, And it's very
- 38:02Speaker 3: obvious that those guys were just local indie wrestlers and
- 38:06Speaker 3: not actually part of Yachty's crew and his entourage. Like, hey,
- 38:11Speaker 3: you guys, you're local indie wrestlers. You're black. Put this
- 38:14Speaker 3: stuff on to go get beat up. Like, it's clear
- 38:20Speaker 3: that those guys were indie wrestlers versus Yachty, who is
- 38:23Speaker 3: not a wrestler.
- 38:24Speaker 6: Yeah, that's true. Speaking of somebody who's going to have
- 38:30Speaker 6: to run through an entire fucking stable until they get
- 38:32Speaker 6: to the man they want, Obafemi versus Brown Breaker. Obafemi
- 38:37Speaker 6: is now in a position where he's going to probably
- 38:41Speaker 6: feud with Vision until the end of the year. I
- 38:44Speaker 6: guarantee it until Rumble. Until the Rumble. Because look at
- 38:50Speaker 6: the list of guys he's going to run through. He's
- 38:53Speaker 6: going to have to... Austin Theory, right? I'm sure.
- 39:00Speaker 6: I'm sure it's all light work. I'm sure Logan Paul
- 39:03Speaker 6: is going to be healed between now and Rumble.
- 39:07Speaker 3: I wouldn't call Bronson Reed light work.
- 39:10Speaker 6: No.
- 39:12Speaker 3: Austin Theory is light work. That's a Monday Night Raw match.
- 39:14Speaker 3: He can whoop his ass and move on.
- 39:16Speaker 6: Exactly. Bronson Reed, though, is a pay-per-view kind of match.
- 39:21Speaker 6: That's a PLE. Absolutely. And this week, we saw him
- 39:26Speaker 6: return and we've seen Four tsunamis. which, you know, honestly,
- 39:33Speaker 6: you lost 100 pounds, right? Is that how much he lost?
- 39:36Speaker 6: He looks great. But now he looks.
- 39:38Speaker 3: I'm not that over 100.
- 39:39Speaker 6: Yeah, he looks a lot smaller next to the other
- 39:42Speaker 6: guys now.
- 39:42Speaker 2: But.
- 39:46Speaker 6: I don't know if Tsunami is the name you want
- 39:47Speaker 6: to use. Now it's a little splash.
- 39:50Speaker 5: You know?
- 39:50Speaker 6: A little wave. It's not so big no more.
- 39:54Speaker 3: I ain't got no problem with it. I was just
- 39:56Speaker 3: about to complain.
- 39:58Speaker 8: I was just about to complain that four tsunamis put
- 40:02Speaker 8: Roman Reigns out for a month.
- 40:04Speaker 3: Like a year ago.
- 40:06Speaker 8: But then I forgot that all these tsunamis are 100
- 40:09Speaker 8: pounds less.
- 40:11Speaker 5: So 400 total pounds less of tsunamis.
- 40:14Speaker 8: I think we can forgive Oba for not being away
- 40:16Speaker 8: for a month from that attack.
- 40:20Speaker 3: Plus it's Oba. I mean, he... he's still being built.
- 40:26Speaker 5: As Roman.
- 40:29Speaker 3: Reigns is Roman Reigns in stature not in not in
- 40:33Speaker 3: you know monstrous personality.
- 40:36Speaker 6: Right but this man is booked as.
- 40:38Speaker 3: Like the monster type guy usually the monster type person
- 40:42Speaker 3: recovers quickly even if they're not still wounded and beat
- 40:47Speaker 3: up they still show up to fight Right.
- 40:49Speaker 6: I just had a problem with this man taking four tsunamis, like,
- 40:52Speaker 6: three spears and not selling it towards the end. As
- 40:56Speaker 6: hard as he should have. And then he got his
- 40:58Speaker 6: ass whooped again on Raw with the vision. And, again, man, just, like,
- 41:06Speaker 6: not selling hard. I understand you are a beast. You
- 41:09Speaker 6: are a monster. But, like, if these are, like, if
- 41:13Speaker 6: one or two tsunamis are supposed to take out a
- 41:16Speaker 6: wrestler for months and you take four of them, plus...
- 41:19Speaker 6: like three Braun Breaker Spears, then, you know, come on, man.
- 41:24Speaker 6: Then that makes me believe how many finishers it's going
- 41:28Speaker 6: to take to put him down then. Ten?
- 41:32Speaker 3: Like, come on.
- 41:33Speaker 6: You got to sell a little bit. You got to
- 41:35Speaker 6: sell the finisher.
- 41:36Speaker 3: What are you expecting of him?
- 41:37Speaker 6: I know.
- 41:38Speaker 3: How much selling are you expecting?
- 41:40Speaker 6: A little bit more.
- 41:42Speaker 3: Dead or something?
- 41:43Speaker 6: Sometimes. Sometimes.
- 41:44Speaker 3: We're talking about the same guy who, mind you, you're
- 41:47Speaker 3: talking about the same guy who needed seven F-5s to
- 41:50Speaker 3: lose to Brock Lesnar.
- 41:51Speaker 6: I know, that's the problem.
- 41:53Speaker 3: But somehow we expect him to be in a fucking
- 41:56Speaker 3: coma over four tsunamis and two spears.
- 42:00Speaker 6: Okay, but remember the aura of, oh God, Bray Wyatt's
- 42:05Speaker 6: character was supposed to be the fiend. The fiend was
- 42:08Speaker 6: supposed to be this unstoppable beast. This thing that would
- 42:12Speaker 6: take these massive finishers or that would take chair shots
- 42:15Speaker 6: and stand back up and would just eat them. But
- 42:19Speaker 6: then Goldberg comes.
- 42:19Speaker 3: And Goldberg wrecks him in a blink of an eye.
- 42:21Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 42:22Speaker 6: Exactly, Dre. Goldberg wrecks him in a blink of an eye.
- 42:26Speaker 6: And it was... That finisher... But I'm just seeing the
- 42:30Speaker 6: opposite ear. Where it's like, this man's just eating finishers.
- 42:33Speaker 6: And finishers and finishers. It's like, okay, so... This makes
- 42:38Speaker 6: me feel like these finishers aren't finishers anymore. Like, they're
- 42:42Speaker 6: not doing the job. You know? Like, if it takes...
- 42:46Speaker 6: If it takes... like Cody Rhodes, if it takes him
- 42:50Speaker 6: every time to use the, the, the, oh God, the cross,
- 42:54Speaker 6: what's his fucking finisher again?
- 42:56Speaker 3: We know his crossroads ain't worth a shit.
- 42:58Speaker 6: Crossroads? If it takes like four cross, three crossroads.
- 43:01Speaker 3: Crossroads ain't never been worth a shit.
- 43:03Speaker 5: Right.
- 43:03Speaker 3: If you use one of them crossroads, it hurts you
- 43:05Speaker 3: more than him.
- 43:07Speaker 6: But if it takes like three or four of them.
- 43:09Speaker 3: One crossroads.
- 43:10Speaker 6: Right, right. And that's what I'm saying. If it takes
- 43:12Speaker 6: three or four of your finisher, then it's not a
- 43:14Speaker 6: fucking finisher, bro. Like, Your finisher should be a once-and-done.
- 43:18Speaker 6: A super kick should... A sweet chip music used to
- 43:21Speaker 6: be a once-and-done. A pedigree used to be a once-and-done.
- 43:24Speaker 3: You know?
- 43:25Speaker 6: Maybe, like, 70% of the time, somebody kicks out of
- 43:29Speaker 6: that finisher, or not at all. There's some finishers that
- 43:31Speaker 6: were so well-protected that you would never kick out. But now.
- 43:35Speaker 3: End of days.
- 43:35Speaker 6: Now. End of days. Yes, there were protective finishers, man,
- 43:39Speaker 6: but now.
- 43:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 43:41Speaker 6: Now, there isn't. There isn't. It....
- 43:44Speaker 8: This is also the progression of, okay, one used to
- 43:48Speaker 8: get it done, and then for the first time, oh,
- 43:51Speaker 8: we had to do two, and now it's going to
- 43:53Speaker 8: be three, and now it's going to be four. When
- 43:59Speaker 8: we're doing this show from a retirement community in a
- 44:02Speaker 8: couple decades, we'll be saying, he only hit him with 30,
- 44:05Speaker 8: whatever the move is at the top.
- 44:09Speaker 3: Now, I think we're kind of conflating two different things, though.
- 44:15Speaker 3: Because it's one thing when we're talking about multiple finishers
- 44:18Speaker 3: in a match. Yeah, that's been a trend in WWE
- 44:21Speaker 3: for a while where any big name match, you can
- 44:24Speaker 3: guarantee they're going to kick out of each other's finishers
- 44:26Speaker 3: multiple times. And that in itself weakens finishers to an extent. Yes,
- 44:30Speaker 3: I do agree with that. It's another thing when a
- 44:34Speaker 3: group is delivering a beat down on somebody, not in
- 44:37Speaker 3: a match, but just whooping his ass just to whoop
- 44:39Speaker 3: his ass. and the guy takes multiple finishers in the
- 44:43Speaker 3: process of an ass-whooping. Like, that's completely normal. That's not
- 44:48Speaker 3: outside the realm for them to deliver multiple finishers. You know,
- 44:54Speaker 3: we're long past the days where Ron Anderson, well, not
- 44:57Speaker 3: Ron Anderson, Aaron Anderson would come in, DDT a motherfucker
- 45:01Speaker 3: one time, and they didn't wake up until next week. Like,
- 45:05Speaker 3: delivering multiple finishers to people in a beatdown is, has
- 45:09Speaker 3: been a thing for a while and he stayed down.
- 45:13Speaker 3: The only time he flinched or really was when Bronson, uh,
- 45:17Speaker 3: when Ron Bronson Reed went into business for himself and
- 45:22Speaker 3: put his foot on him. And to which he shrugged
- 45:24Speaker 3: that off. Like, no, fuck out of here with that bullshit.
- 45:27Speaker 3: But then he stayed down. Like how much more? It
- 45:31Speaker 3: ain't like he did that shit. And then they walked
- 45:34Speaker 3: out the ring and he popped right back up. I'm
- 45:36Speaker 3: pretty sure he stayed down through the segment.
- 45:42Speaker 6: The almighty finisher essentially that's.
- 45:44Speaker 3: The most ass whooping we've seen obafumi take since he's
- 45:47Speaker 3: debuted on the on the main roster yeah like we
- 45:52Speaker 3: haven't seen anybody get the best of them the way
- 45:54Speaker 3: the vision has these last two encounters right i think
- 45:59Speaker 3: that speaks to something like that means something that's to
- 46:01Speaker 3: me that's making that's giving them a little bit more
- 46:04Speaker 3: credibility that's making uh Bronson Reed definitely showed his level
- 46:10Speaker 3: of impact, given that when he comes back, he's the
- 46:13Speaker 3: one helping them put Obafemi down. And, you know, getting
- 46:18Speaker 3: to the match itself, I think they did a good
- 46:20Speaker 3: job of reestablishing Bron Breaker and his credibility. Because I
- 46:26Speaker 3: was surprised in the match itself how much he dominated it.
- 46:31Speaker 3: And how much he really had Oba reeling throughout the match.
- 46:34Speaker 3: I think that did wonders for him. Yeah.
- 46:37Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, he did say, I'm gonna take you
- 46:39Speaker 6: out into the deep end, and, you know, I'm gonna
- 46:43Speaker 6: run you tired. And he pretty much did. But, it
- 46:48Speaker 6: was still, it was probably.
- 46:49Speaker 5: Yeah, they were both fucking gassed.
- 46:51Speaker 6: Yeah, dude, absolutely.
- 46:54Speaker 8: I don't know how well that pertains to, like, you know,
- 46:58Speaker 8: these two headlining WrestleMania titles.
- 47:01Speaker 5: I don't even know, what number are we on now?
- 47:05Speaker 5: 46 calling or 45 maybe?
- 47:07Speaker 8: They can't go 14 minutes on Sunday Night's Main Event
- 47:13Speaker 8: without both almost needing an oxygen mask.
- 47:16Speaker 3: You are right about that. They did both look gassed
- 47:18Speaker 3: towards the.
- 47:21Speaker 6: End.
- 47:22Speaker 8: I was terrified these guys weren't going to have chemistry,
- 47:24Speaker 8: especially if we're planning on seeing this match 50 more
- 47:27Speaker 8: times over the years.
- 47:29Speaker 5: I think they did have chemistry. I don't think that's
- 47:31Speaker 5: a concern. The pacing, I thought, was a bit of
- 47:34Speaker 5: an issue. They came out like a house on fire.
- 47:38Speaker 13: By the end, they looked like they were both way
- 47:41Speaker 13: into quicksand.
- 47:43Speaker 8: So hopefully, you know, they get a little more time together, uh,
- 47:47Speaker 8: figure some things out.
- 47:48Speaker 5: And they're both so young too, which is another thing
- 47:50Speaker 5: we probably need to keep in mind.
- 47:52Speaker 14: Um, in terms of they're not, they haven't been on
- 47:55Speaker 14: the planet very long, but they also haven't been in
- 47:58Speaker 14: the business very long.
- 47:59Speaker 13: Um, so, you know, I think there's a lot of
- 48:02Speaker 13: room for improvement, uh, And I guess they also, again,
- 48:07Speaker 13: if we're going to do this match a couple dozen
- 48:09Speaker 13: more times over.
- 48:10Speaker 8: The next two decades, you obviously don't want to throw
- 48:13Speaker 8: everything out there for the first time. So definitely a
- 48:17Speaker 8: good base for what may end up as a legendary feud.
- 48:24Speaker 5: That's certainly what they want to happen. I don't know
- 48:26Speaker 5: if it's going to happen. It certainly looks like that's
- 48:28Speaker 5: what they.
- 48:29Speaker 3: Want to happen.
- 48:30Speaker 8: But I still think my idea for Bronson Reed to
- 48:33Speaker 8: be the one to come in and attack both of
- 48:35Speaker 8: them and leave with Heyman, I still think would have
- 48:37Speaker 8: been better. I still think we're going in that direction
- 48:41Speaker 8: with Bronson Reed.
- 48:44Speaker 5: But it's like, why not just do it? Why drag
- 48:46Speaker 5: it out over the next two months again? Why not
- 48:49Speaker 5: just do it?
- 48:50Speaker 3: Because they got the exact reason what you just said.
- 48:54Speaker 3: They got to drag it out. I mean, if you
- 48:56Speaker 3: look at it, the way the interaction they had on
- 48:59Speaker 3: Monday Night Raw after they took him down when they
- 49:01Speaker 3: went backstage. You see how Paul Heyman reacted to Bronson
- 49:06Speaker 3: Reed with much more love and admiration, and then Braun
- 49:11Speaker 3: said what he said, and he just looked at Braun
- 49:13Speaker 3: and just critiqued him like, is he still breathing?
- 49:16Speaker 5: Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Fuck, I don't know what
- 49:18Speaker 5: else with this bullshit you're talking about. I think that's
- 49:22Speaker 5: the direction we're going in. I think it would have
- 49:23Speaker 5: been a much more impactful. I mean, as great as
- 49:26Speaker 5: Bronson Reed looked. And I will say, he makes the
- 49:28Speaker 5: vision look better.
- 49:30Speaker 8: Without him, it looked like a couple steps.
- 49:33Speaker 14: Because Osseter still looks like a mid-card at best kind
- 49:38Speaker 14: of player. And without Logan Paul in there, they just
- 49:42Speaker 14: kind of weren't very intimidating.
- 49:46Speaker 8: And so they got a whole lot more intimidating overnight.
- 49:49Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 49:49Speaker 3: They didn't look serious. They didn't look serious.
- 49:53Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly.
- 49:54Speaker 6: Yep. Yeah, it's... You're right, though, Adol. These guys are
- 50:02Speaker 6: very young, and this is the beginning of this feud,
- 50:06Speaker 6: and we have such a long road to go if
- 50:09Speaker 6: these guys are going to be staying in this business.
- 50:12Speaker 6: I expect better matches in the future. I'm excited to
- 50:16Speaker 6: see him and Bronson Reed, you know, to lock horns
- 50:22Speaker 6: in the ring. Like, I'm watching clips of Peacock, the
- 50:27Speaker 6: match now, and just seeing, you know, Bronson Reed come
- 50:30Speaker 6: out looking great, man. Very healthy. You know, for us
- 50:37Speaker 6: as fans, we like seeing our professional wrestlers stay in
- 50:41Speaker 6: great shape and stay healthy, because that means you're going
- 50:43Speaker 6: to be around. Because when there's certain guys who are
- 50:46Speaker 6: just You can tell when one of our favorite wrestlers
- 50:50Speaker 6: is out of shape and they haven't hit the gym
- 50:52Speaker 6: in a while or they're just really abusing their body.
- 50:55Speaker 6: It's just like, man, I don't want to see anything
- 50:57Speaker 6: terrible happen to you. I want to see you stay healthy,
- 51:00Speaker 6: stick around. I think there's a lot of other wrestlers
- 51:06Speaker 6: who came back who lost a lot of weight. It's
- 51:10Speaker 6: a big shocker to fans seeing somebody you don't recognize.
- 51:15Speaker 6: I think that's Bronson Reed. I thought it was an
- 51:20Speaker 6: ooze for a second. Good timing, too, right before WarGames
- 51:27Speaker 6: isn't too far away. We'll see what that puts them.
- 51:30Speaker 6: If Logan Paul is healed by then, we'll get the
- 51:33Speaker 6: four of them in a WarGames match. I would like
- 51:36Speaker 6: to see the... Goddamn, man. You've got to get the
- 51:39Speaker 6: tag titles off Braun Breaker. He's got to be doing
- 51:43Speaker 6: something else besides fooling around in the tag team division.
- 51:47Speaker 6: If it takes Logan Paul coming back and then he's like, oh,
- 51:50Speaker 6: I kept this title warm for you, and he just
- 51:52Speaker 6: hands it to him like that, whatever. Dude, whatever. But
- 51:58Speaker 6: good to have him back.
- 51:59Speaker 3: Who cares? WWE's tag team division isn't even worth talking
- 52:02Speaker 3: about anymore.
- 52:03Speaker 6: Dude, you have no idea.
- 52:07Speaker 3: It's basically the living dead.
- 52:09Speaker 6: Speaking of the tag team division, let's talk about the
- 52:12Speaker 6: women's six-woman tag match. Yeah, what did you guys think
- 52:18Speaker 6: of this?
- 52:21Speaker 3: Not much.
- 52:22Speaker 6: All right.
- 52:25Speaker 3: It took place. Like I said, this was the weak
- 52:28Speaker 3: point of the show to me. The match happened. It
- 52:31Speaker 3: took place. But nothing of any real consequence happened. I mean,
- 52:36Speaker 3: Tatum Paxley made a mistake that caused, what, Charlotte to
- 52:41Speaker 3: get pinned by Jade?
- 52:44Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 52:44Speaker 3: Whoop-dee-doo.
- 52:46Speaker 6: I like their outfits.
- 52:47Speaker 3: No real tension. Yeah. Yeah, the outfits were good. You know,
- 52:51Speaker 3: the matching black and pink.
- 52:52Speaker 6: Cool.
- 52:53Speaker 3: I appreciated Jayden showing love to TLC in Atlanta. That
- 52:58Speaker 3: was dope. Yep.
- 53:02Speaker 6: That's about it. Yeah, basically, it was the match that
- 53:06Speaker 6: was the, I guess, the palate cleanser before we get
- 53:11Speaker 6: the main event. Randy Orton versus Cody Rhodes. for the
- 53:18Speaker 6: nothing title. No title involved. No world champion, no WWE champion,
- 53:24Speaker 6: no women's champion. We had one champion on. We had
- 53:32Speaker 6: the United States champion. It was the only title that
- 53:34Speaker 6: changed hands. I think it was pretty ballsy to do
- 53:38Speaker 6: this pay-per-view that way. Especially making this your main event,
- 53:42Speaker 6: not making Oba versus Braun your Your first match of
- 53:46Speaker 6: the night, you know, what they've been putting. Oba, it
- 53:50Speaker 6: seemed like he was always the opener the past couple
- 53:53Speaker 6: PLEs he was in. But, yeah, what do you guys
- 53:59Speaker 6: think about Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes? All right, guys.
- 54:09Speaker 6: I haven't got some blood. Yeah, I mean, yeah, we
- 54:14Speaker 6: got some fucking real color.
- 54:16Speaker 8: Remember when we thought Netflix was going to have blood
- 54:20Speaker 8: and swearing and their fucking blurring faces? Yeah, I mean,
- 54:27Speaker 8: this match pretty much went how we thought it would.
- 54:32Speaker 5: No big revelation.
- 54:34Speaker 8: And again, it seems like, you know, chapter three and
- 54:37Speaker 8: a longer story, you know, this certainly isn't the End
- 54:42Speaker 8: of the feud, it doesn't look like. I think we
- 54:49Speaker 8: all agreed that Randy had to win. In that respect,
- 54:55Speaker 8: it wasn't super shocking, I didn't think.
- 55:00Speaker 6: The low blow, not shocking at all.
- 55:02Speaker 3: This match was better than their WrestleMania match, I'll give
- 55:04Speaker 3: them that. 100%.
- 55:05Speaker 5: Not a super high bar to clear.
- 55:12Speaker 3: Right. We got a definitive finish. I mean, they actually
- 55:15Speaker 3: told some decent story. They had some decent storytelling in
- 55:19Speaker 3: the match. I'm honestly kind of surprised Randy won, though. Really?
- 55:24Speaker 3: To an extent, I'm kind of surprised. Because it puts
- 55:28Speaker 3: him up 2-0 on Cody. Whereas usually in these type
- 55:31Speaker 3: of matches, they split and then you have to do
- 55:34Speaker 3: the rubber match to break the tie. They decided not
- 55:36Speaker 3: to go that route and just let Randy essentially maintain
- 55:41Speaker 3: the upper hand. On Cody.
- 55:45Speaker 6: Yeah. That could possibly mean that Cody could be winning
- 55:49Speaker 6: this feud, or God help us all, we could be
- 55:52Speaker 6: getting a best of seven.
- 55:53Speaker 5: Of course he's going to win the feud.
- 55:54Speaker 6: Yeah, but what kind of match do we want to
- 55:57Speaker 6: see this end in? Do we want to see this
- 55:58Speaker 6: end in what kind of gimmick match, you know? It
- 56:02Speaker 6: can't be just a standard match.
- 56:03Speaker 3: You know it's going to be a gimmick match.
- 56:05Speaker 14: Right.
- 56:05Speaker 3: It's going to be a gimmick match, and they'll probably... Oh, fuck.
- 56:08Speaker 3: What was the last Hell in a Cell? They just
- 56:10Speaker 3: did Brock and Roman. I mean, they just did Brock
- 56:12Speaker 3: and Oba Hell in a Cell, which was bullshit.
- 56:17Speaker 6: Well, it could be a, hear me out, it could
- 56:20Speaker 6: be Extreme Rules match, or a False Count Anywhere, or
- 56:24Speaker 6: a Unsanctioned, or a No DQ. Ooh, how about a
- 56:29Speaker 6: False Count Anywhere? Or maybe like a Chicago Street Fight?
- 56:33Speaker 6: A hardcore match?
- 56:33Speaker 3: Does it basically mean the same thing?
- 56:37Speaker 6: Uh, uh, uh, yeah.
- 56:39Speaker 3: Because Falls County Anywhere matches always end up in the ring,
- 56:43Speaker 3: especially now.
- 56:44Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah.
- 56:44Speaker 3: Did you just do a Falls County Anywhere match or
- 56:46Speaker 3: something recently? And that shit was, like, outside the ring for, like,
- 56:49Speaker 3: all of five minutes before it just turned into an
- 56:51Speaker 3: in-ring match? Yep.
- 56:55Speaker 6: I can't remember, but yeah.
- 56:56Speaker 3: Street Fight, DDQ, all the same shit.
- 56:59Speaker 4: Mm-hmm.
- 56:59Speaker 6: Tribal Street Fight.
- 57:02Speaker 3: It's Cody and Randy, so they're gonna try to make
- 57:04Speaker 3: it feel big. So I wouldn't be surprised if they
- 57:08Speaker 3: did the Hell in a Cell again or some Steel
- 57:11Speaker 3: Cage shit again. If they really wanted to think outside
- 57:15Speaker 3: the box or do something creative, do like a freaking...
- 57:22Speaker 3: Maybe they'll go Last Man Standing.
- 57:24Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 57:25Speaker 3: I was going to say if they wanted to be creative,
- 57:28Speaker 3: they could go with something like a First Blood match,
- 57:30Speaker 3: but not likely.
- 57:32Speaker 6: That match would have been over already.
- 57:38Speaker 8: If they want to be creative, maybe they'll have a
- 57:39Speaker 8: match that's not super overbooked like the last two events.
- 57:44Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 57:45Speaker 8: Maybe just have a match where nobody interferes and the
- 57:48Speaker 8: ref doesn't get bumped three times.
- 57:52Speaker 6: It was very interesting.
- 57:54Speaker 3: If you put some no DQ stipulation on it. I
- 57:58Speaker 3: think if they have a third match, I think a
- 58:01Speaker 3: last man standing could work for those two.
- 58:05Speaker 6: Yeah, I would like to see that.
- 58:08Speaker 3: I quit.
- 58:10Speaker 6: Well, don't quit.
- 58:11Speaker 3: Come on, man. What submission move do the other one
- 58:17Speaker 3: of them have?
- 58:20Speaker 5: Yeah, I can't.
- 58:21Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 58:22Speaker 5: They have to beat each other so bad.
- 58:24Speaker 6: Yeah, there's a weapon involved of some kind.
- 58:27Speaker 3: If they were that creative. Again, I don't know if they're.
- 58:33Speaker 3: creative enough to let two guys who aren't known for
- 58:36Speaker 3: submission finishers have an I quit match.
- 58:39Speaker 6: Right. Damn, I'm re-watching some of this match. I'm just
- 58:44Speaker 6: watching how much blood is pouring from Orton's face, man.
- 58:48Speaker 3: He was leaking.
- 58:49Speaker 6: Yeah, he was leaking. Cody's trying to go for that punt,
- 58:54Speaker 6: and he does the no, no, don't, don't, don't hit me.
- 58:59Speaker 6: The ref comes in, tries to help him, and they
- 59:01Speaker 6: give the double low blow. Which I always think is
- 59:04Speaker 6: funny when they get the low blow to the ref
- 59:06Speaker 6: and him so it's you know that's almost some low
- 59:11Speaker 6: blows are like unique right like that one uh when
- 59:14Speaker 6: i like when uh the most recent one is uh
- 59:17Speaker 6: roman reigns when he kicks out he does the low
- 59:20Speaker 6: blow kick out so fucking stupid but uh Yeah, it
- 59:27Speaker 6: was a unique way to end the match. I mean,
- 59:29Speaker 6: as soon as they ended that match, I saw them
- 59:31Speaker 6: toss a fucking towel in the ring. Brandi Rose was there.
- 59:36Speaker 6: Front row. Got to slap Orton so we could see
- 59:38Speaker 6: her on TV. It was probably never going to be
- 59:42Speaker 6: the last of that. We'll probably always see her here
- 59:45Speaker 6: and there. But yeah, I mean, just a good old-fashioned
- 59:53Speaker 6: Orton-Cody match. Wasn't Wasn't great, wasn't terrible. So, I don't know.
- 59:59Speaker 6: Can't complain, but can't also praise it. You know, it's
- 1:00:03Speaker 6: not going to be my match of the year candidate. So,
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: that's it for Sunday Night Main Event. Yeah, that's it
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: for Sunday Night Main Event. You know, the show we
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: are starting to get every month now, it seems like,
- 1:00:23Speaker 6: or every two months, we get a main event match
- 1:00:26Speaker 6: of some kind where we have to watch, or PLE,
- 1:00:29Speaker 6: I mean. Did you guys catch Monday Night Raw? You
- 1:00:42Speaker 6: guys see the rental car they lit on fire?
- 1:00:50Speaker 5: That made no fucking sense either.
- 1:00:53Speaker 6: Some things in Raw, I'm just like, why the fuck
- 1:00:55Speaker 6: am I watching seven ads so I can watch this shit? So,
- 1:00:59Speaker 6: let me get this straight. The name of Royce Keys' crew,
- 1:01:04Speaker 6: his stable, is called 946? It's a zip code? What
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: is it?
- 1:01:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: I didn't know they got a name.
- 1:01:16Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm sure it's a zip code.
- 1:01:17Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: But isn't this code like five numbers? So they're probably
- 1:01:20Speaker 6: missing a few more members. They added a couple more members. Yeah,
- 1:01:23Speaker 6: there you go. Ah, okay. If we predict how they're
- 1:01:30Speaker 6: going to put this table. Because right now, I was
- 1:01:34Speaker 6: like 946. I was like, come on. That doesn't make sense.
- 1:01:38Speaker 6: At least 619 makes sense.
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: 946 is not an area code.
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: Oh, shit.
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: There is no 946 area code.
- 1:01:45Speaker 6: So I wish they would kind of like elaborate. you know,
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: on these stable names.
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: I mean, maybe they might elaborate on it when they
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: get a promo or something in the ring at some point, possibly,
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: but until then, we'll see.
- 1:02:01Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: Honestly, I don't know that they entirely need a name.
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: I mean, granted, yeah, every faction's got to have some
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: sort of name, but I'm totally fine with them not
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: having a name until they come up with something or
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: until they at least explain whatever the fuck this 9-4-6
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: shit is.
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: Ah, I would, they could've just fucking gone with something
- 1:02:24Speaker 6: stupid and silly, but, you know, oh wait, they did. Uh,
- 1:02:28Speaker 6: they could've been like, ah, we're, uh, Lock and Keys.
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:02:37Speaker 6: These guys, their name are Locks, I'm Keys. Lock and Key. Uh, yeah,
- 1:02:44Speaker 6: I don't, I don't know much about these guys.
- 1:02:47Speaker 5: Uh, That was very Attitude Era. Setting a car on
- 1:02:53Speaker 5: fire in the parking lot.
- 1:02:55Speaker 8: Weren't we doing that like 30 years ago?
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: Yep.
- 1:02:59Speaker 6: Filling Corvettes with cement too. Running them over with monster trucks.
- 1:03:03Speaker 6: All that fun stuff.
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: Yeah, well I mean if you got beef with this
- 1:03:09Speaker 3: group and they're not showing up for you to whoop
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: their ass you gotta find some way to get their attention.
- 1:03:14Speaker 6: Right, but like nowadays we know Like, especially an all-black Escalade.
- 1:03:20Speaker 6: Come on, man. We know that's a fucking rental. You're
- 1:03:22Speaker 6: telling me... The Usos did not lose their shit. I
- 1:03:25Speaker 6: would have been... I would have ran out to that
- 1:03:28Speaker 6: parking lot with those baseball bats. I would have lost
- 1:03:30Speaker 6: my shit if that was my actual car.
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: Every car people pull up in in wrestling is a
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: rental now.
- 1:03:37Speaker 5: Right, right, right.
- 1:03:38Speaker 6: But, like, dude, come on, Dre. The second some dude
- 1:03:40Speaker 6: smashes your fucking windshields in, you're already running out that ring.
- 1:03:44Speaker 6: You ain't waiting for them to light it on fire.
- 1:03:46Speaker 6: It's fucking sitting there like, nah, dude, these guys laid
- 1:03:49Speaker 6: hands on my fucking car. Jesus.
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: Yeah, but what I'm saying is every car that's ever
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: been on TV in WWE has probably been at rentals.
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: When have we ever gave a shit about them doing
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: stuff to rental cars before? So why do we give
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: a shit now about the fact that it was a rental?
- 1:04:07Speaker 6: Wait, so you're telling me those weren't all of Eddie
- 1:04:09Speaker 6: Guerrero's lowriders? You're telling me that Alberto Del Rio... Did
- 1:04:15Speaker 6: not own all those cars every week. You're telling me.
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: You're telling me.
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: Yes, I'm telling you. Vince McMahon blew up a rental car.
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: I'm telling you. Vince McMahon has cement dumped on a
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: rental car. Yes, I'm telling you that.
- 1:04:30Speaker 6: You're telling me JBL does not own a limo.
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: And on rental bikes. Yes.
- 1:04:37Speaker 6: Are you?
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: Undertaker dragged Hulk Hogan through the hallway on a rental bike.
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: Wait, you're telling me Dan Housen.
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: Rented!
- 1:04:45Speaker 6: Oh, shit.
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: We never cared that they were rentals before, so why
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: do we care that they set a fire to a
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: rental now?
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: You're telling me that the Mexicals rented those mowers. I'm
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: trying to dig deep. Yeah, yes. I.
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: I.
- 1:05:06Speaker 6: Mean, I guess, like you said, it had the Attitude
- 1:05:08Speaker 6: Era feeling to it, I guess. Anyway, we had... The Vision,
- 1:05:16Speaker 6: open up Raw.
- 1:05:17Speaker 5: I have an answer on the name.
- 1:05:19Speaker 6: Oh, go ahead.
- 1:05:21Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:05:23Speaker 9: The Oakland area codes are 925669 and 408. So it's
- 1:05:30Speaker 9: the first four numbers of the three area codes in Oakland,
- 1:05:36Speaker 9: which is super convoluted and stupid.
- 1:05:40Speaker 8: If it's that long and it's that difficult to explain,
- 1:05:42Speaker 8: it's a bad name.
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: That's damn sure some overthinking.
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: Yeah, damn.
- 1:05:48Speaker 6: Well, I mean, this person is pretty deep looking. Yeah,
- 1:05:51Speaker 6: that's too hard to fucking figure out, man.
- 1:05:53Speaker 5: They should have just picked one.
- 1:05:58Speaker 6: The nines.
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: Or you cut a decent promo and explain that shit
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: in a fucking promo. There you go. Like the 925s.
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: How hard is it to have him come out there
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: and say, yeah, I'm from Oakland. I'm from the 9-1-yada-yada.
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: My boy over here from Old Town. He from the 4-6-yada-yada. Together,
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: we the 9-4-6. There you go. How fucking hard is
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: that to do without God damn right? Boom.
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: Done.
- 1:06:24Speaker 5: They're going to hire you, man.
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: Shit. Just fucking explain it real quick. Here's who I am.
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: Here's who he is. Here's who he is. And this
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: is what we are. And we here to whoop ass
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: and take names. Who wants some?
- 1:06:38Speaker 7: Yep.
- 1:06:38Speaker 6: And then have Michael Cole explain it every week for
- 1:06:41Speaker 6: the next like six months. So we'll get it.
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: One decent promo. All you need.
- 1:06:48Speaker 6: All right.
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: There's nine, four, six. We got it. Now let's get
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: to fighting. Yep.
- 1:06:54Speaker 6: I always like the, uh, how they light things on
- 1:06:56Speaker 6: fire in WWE. It's like that firework or whatever. Flair.
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: They're at least doing a decent job enough of establishing
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: them as a legitimate threat. And the fact that, Jacob
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: Fatu don't want to run up on them. Jacob Fatu
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: been ready to run up on everybody without hesitation. This
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: is the one group where he's like, yo, hold up, chill.
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: That alone at least gives them some credibility. But now
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: it's time to build on that. Yeah.
- 1:07:29Speaker 6: We saw the beginning of Monday Night Raw had The
- 1:07:33Speaker 6: Vision in the ring. Kind of promo. They said, Oba,
- 1:07:40Speaker 6: you call yourself the ruler, but even now and again,
- 1:07:43Speaker 6: you come across a man who just doesn't recognize the crown.
- 1:07:50Speaker 6: Then we had Akira Tozawa come out. Waste everybody's time.
- 1:07:57Speaker 8: Dude, regardless, Akira Tozawa has been feuding with the Vision
- 1:08:04Speaker 8: for quite some time now.
- 1:08:06Speaker 6: Jesus Christ. And then Otis returns. Yeah.
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: And also waste everybody's time.
- 1:08:13Speaker 5: God.
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: If they've moved on to Obafemi, there's no reason for
- 1:08:18Speaker 3: Alpha Academy to still be showing the fuck up. They
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: are past y'all.
- 1:08:23Speaker 6: Exactly. Precisely.
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: What I'm not trying to see is a fucking six-man
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: tag match with goddamn Austin, Braun Breaker, and Bronson Reed
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: versus Alpha Academy and Oba Femi. Yeah. That's what the
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: fuck I'm not trying to see. But I feel like
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: they're going to do that stupid shit on an episode
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: of Raw. Yeah.
- 1:08:50Speaker 6: Yeah, it was upsetting. And then, yeah, we got the
- 1:08:57Speaker 6: beatdown of Oba. You know, later in the evening. The beatdown.
- 1:09:06Speaker 6: Like you mentioned earlier, the foot being put on him
- 1:09:12Speaker 6: just to be pushed away. Pushed away. Liv Morgan and
- 1:09:17Speaker 6: Becky exchanged words backstage. We get a build-up for Liv
- 1:09:22Speaker 6: Morgan versus Stephanie Vacuum Cleaner at the end of the Raw.
- 1:09:27Speaker 6: That was a pretty decent match until there was tons
- 1:09:33Speaker 6: of interference like normal. And then, you know, Liv retains. So,
- 1:09:40Speaker 6: there goes her rematch. So, I guess this puts Stephanie
- 1:09:44Speaker 6: on maybe the track for the Money in the Bank.
- 1:09:48Speaker 6: She's lost against her rematch against Liv. Potentially.
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: Or at least that just takes her out of the...
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: It frees up Becky Lynch to now be the main
- 1:10:00Speaker 3: challenger to Liv for the title. Since Stephanie Viqueira had
- 1:10:05Speaker 3: her shot and lost. Right.
- 1:10:08Speaker 6: You know who would be interesting to be a Money
- 1:10:11Speaker 6: in the Bank winner on the women's side? Somebody who
- 1:10:16Speaker 6: hasn't really held gold in a minute. who's been eating
- 1:10:19Speaker 6: shit pins for her group, Roxanne Perez. Think how interesting
- 1:10:26Speaker 6: that would be if Raquel has the Intercontinental and Liv
- 1:10:30Speaker 6: has the women's world title and she finally gets something.
- 1:10:36Speaker 6: And that something is the money in the bank briefcase.
- 1:10:40Speaker 6: That'd be interesting.
- 1:10:41Speaker 8: Well, Raquel's in a, Raquel's in a, in a content,
- 1:10:44Speaker 8: in a, What the fuck do you call it?
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: Qualify match.
- 1:10:48Speaker 6: Qualify match.
- 1:10:49Speaker 5: Thank you. Jesus Christ.
- 1:10:51Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:10:51Speaker 8: Raquel's in a qualify match. But, I mean, she's actually,
- 1:10:56Speaker 8: that might be actually really interesting. I believe, and somebody
- 1:11:01Speaker 8: correct me if I'm wrong, I think it's her, Jada Parker.
- 1:11:03Speaker 6: And debuting Lola Weiss.
- 1:11:08Speaker 5: And that's in Mexico.
- 1:11:10Speaker 3: Yeah. Oh, Raw is in Mexico next week.
- 1:11:14Speaker 8: So I kind of can't imagine that Lola Weiss won't
- 1:11:18Speaker 8: win that debut match in Mexico where she's been.
- 1:11:20Speaker 5: A huge star for AAA.
- 1:11:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:11:25Speaker 8: But, I mean, I think Liv, for the same reasons
- 1:11:28Speaker 8: you just said about Roxy, I think Liv, or not Liv,
- 1:11:32Speaker 8: Raquel also makes a compelling.
- 1:11:36Speaker 3: Miss Money in the Bank.
- 1:11:39Speaker 5: For the same reasons.
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: I mean, going after Liv would be fun. Either one
- 1:11:43Speaker 3: of them. I didn't even know that was the case.
- 1:11:51Speaker 6: We also saw.
- 1:11:53Speaker 8: Yeah, and they're doing the Penta Roman match.
- 1:11:59Speaker 3: And Gable versus Dragon Lee. That should be a banger
- 1:12:04Speaker 3: in Mexico.
- 1:12:07Speaker 6: Yeah, this AAA match is happening on Raw with Raw wrestlers.
- 1:12:12Speaker 6: How did they do that? How did they do that?
- 1:12:15Speaker 6: They did the old switcheroo. I thought we were having
- 1:12:19Speaker 6: this all on AAA. I thought it was going to
- 1:12:21Speaker 6: be at TripleMania, to be honest. I thought that's what
- 1:12:23Speaker 6: we were leading towards. I didn't know it was on our.
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: What, the Roman-Penza match?
- 1:12:28Speaker 6: I thought so. I thought it could have been on TripleMania,
- 1:12:32Speaker 6: but I thought that would have been big for them. But, yeah, okay.
- 1:12:37Speaker 3: They said from the very beginning that the tournament was
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: going to be... The winner was going to face Roman
- 1:12:42Speaker 3: at Raw in Mexico City.
- 1:12:44Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:12:47Speaker 3: That's how they gotta sell them tickets.
- 1:12:49Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:12:50Speaker 3: That's how I knew from the very jump that, like, oh, Raw,
- 1:12:54Speaker 3: Mexico City, Roman, championship match versus AAA somebody, it's gonna
- 1:12:57Speaker 3: be Penta.
- 1:12:58Speaker 6: Mm-hmm.
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: Yeah. At least the way we got there was good
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: because I think, as we already mentioned, that fucking, that
- 1:13:06Speaker 3: Penta Ray Phoenix match was fire.
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:13:11Speaker 6: Oh, yeah, that's true.
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: Pause.
- 1:13:14Speaker 6: Do you, uh, you mentioned Lola vice height packages being
- 1:13:20Speaker 6: put out. And then we also got another big cast one,
- 1:13:25Speaker 6: you know, said he's stacking bodies. But then when he
- 1:13:28Speaker 6: said that they were only showing pictures and videos of
- 1:13:31Speaker 6: Javon Evans. So he meant he was just stacking one body,
- 1:13:36Speaker 6: not bodies.
- 1:13:38Speaker 8: Um, I believe they're the, I believe they're the men's match. Uh,
- 1:13:43Speaker 8: it's Javon Evans, uh, whatever the fuck his name is.
- 1:13:47Speaker 5: Big Cass. I can't remember who the third is.
- 1:13:52Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 1:13:53Speaker 6: Who's that?
- 1:13:53Speaker 3: No one else knows.
- 1:13:54Speaker 6: Oh, for qualifying match. Let me see. Maybe they have
- 1:13:58Speaker 6: them all listed.
- 1:14:00Speaker 8: I'm pretty sure it's Javon Evans and Cass. I'm struggling
- 1:14:06Speaker 8: to figure out who the third is.
- 1:14:08Speaker 6: I got you. I got it. Scrolling down... Oh.
- 1:14:17Speaker 6: Yeah, Austin Theory, Big Cass, and Javon Evans. Yeah, because
- 1:14:22Speaker 6: we got Ethan Page and Rey Mysterio versus Braun Breaker
- 1:14:27Speaker 6: in a triple threat. We saw that on Raw, which
- 1:14:29Speaker 6: was pretty good. It made sense for Rey to get pinned,
- 1:14:35Speaker 6: not Ethan. Let's pin the 50-something-year-old general manager and not
- 1:14:39Speaker 6: the new blood that's in there. Yeah, that. You know,
- 1:14:44Speaker 6: having the idea of Prawn Breaker with a fucking Money
- 1:14:48Speaker 6: in the Bank briefcase, that's pretty sick. Him running at
- 1:14:51Speaker 6: that speed down to the ring and immediately spears you.
- 1:14:55Speaker 6: And then it cashes it in.
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: You know?
- 1:14:59Speaker 6: And then the women's side, we had Sol Ruka versus
- 1:15:04Speaker 6: Lyra versus Maxine Dupree in a boring as fuck match.
- 1:15:08Speaker 6: And then Bayley returned. to interfere.
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: Don't ever associate boring and Bailey in the same sentence.
- 1:15:16Speaker 6: Well, the match was boring until Bailey showed up. Uh,
- 1:15:21Speaker 6: I think everybody was happy when Bailey showed up, uh,
- 1:15:26Speaker 6: for reasons, uh, that we were all just happy to
- 1:15:29Speaker 6: see Bailey.
- 1:15:29Speaker 3: You know, and correction. Yeah. The money in the bank
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: qualifying match for next week on the, the raw Mexico city.
- 1:15:41Speaker 3: is actually going to be, yes, a debuting Lola Weiss,
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: but the other two competitors are not Raquel Rodriguez and
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: Jada Parker. It is actually going to be... I mean, no,
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: it is Raquel Rodriguez, not Roxanne Perez. So it's Raquel
- 1:16:02Speaker 3: instead of Roxanne. And instead of Jada Parker, it's actually
- 1:16:05Speaker 3: going to be Kalani Jordan.
- 1:16:08Speaker 6: Ah, there you go. All right, Kalani Jordan.
- 1:16:12Speaker 3: So that should actually be a pretty good match because
- 1:16:14Speaker 3: Kalani Jordan is very good in the ring.
- 1:16:17Speaker 6: Yeah. Okay.
- 1:16:19Speaker 3: And it's nice to see her finally get some, at
- 1:16:23Speaker 3: least some acknowledgement on the main roster or some opportunity
- 1:16:28Speaker 3: for main roster eyes to see her because, yeah, she's
- 1:16:30Speaker 3: been down at NXT forever.
- 1:16:32Speaker 5: I mean, this is her main roster debut also, right?
- 1:16:37Speaker 3: Essentially, I mean, she's not coming, she's not moving up
- 1:16:39Speaker 3: to the main roster because she's the NXT Women's Champion,
- 1:16:42Speaker 3: but I think it will probably be, yeah, one of
- 1:16:45Speaker 3: the first times that we've seen her in a match
- 1:16:48Speaker 3: on one of the main shows.
- 1:16:50Speaker 5: She hasn't been on Raw before, I don't think.
- 1:16:54Speaker 3: I don't think so. I don't know if she's been
- 1:16:55Speaker 3: on Raw or SmackDown before.
- 1:16:57Speaker 6: No, I don't think so either.
- 1:17:01Speaker 3: The men's match is going to be Big Kaz, Javon Evans,
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: Big Kaz, and Austin Curry on the men's side in
- 1:17:09Speaker 3: a qualifying match.
- 1:17:11Speaker 6: Yeah, it's my fault. Oops, something fell in my office.
- 1:17:14Speaker 5: Carry on.
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: So, yeah. Lola Weiss is probably going to win the
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: qualifying match because there's no reason for Raquel to be
- 1:17:24Speaker 3: in the Money in the Bank ladder match. And Kalani
- 1:17:27Speaker 3: Jordan is also still NXT Women's Champion. So, no reason
- 1:17:33Speaker 3: for her to be in the match either. So, the
- 1:17:36Speaker 3: one person who's debuting... In front of the crowd. That
- 1:17:39Speaker 3: she's incredibly popular with. Who's also not a champion. Is
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: obviously going to win.
- 1:17:46Speaker 6: Predicting it early. Nice. Soul Ruka and Brawn Breaker. Officially
- 1:17:52Speaker 6: in thus far. We still have five spots. TBD. On
- 1:17:57Speaker 6: both sides. So we will see.
- 1:17:59Speaker 7: Injibon Evans will likely win the men's match.
- 1:18:04Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:18:04Speaker 12: Right.
- 1:18:06Speaker 3: Because he clearly has to OG cut somebody off that
- 1:18:08Speaker 3: one of them fucking ladders.
- 1:18:11Speaker 6: Yeah, dude. We did see a segment with Solo and
- 1:18:19Speaker 6: LA Knight backstage. They're still currently pals, but they're not
- 1:18:24Speaker 6: entirely on the same page, whether it comes to Roman
- 1:18:27Speaker 6: Reigns or the 9-4-6, which is the bigger threat. And
- 1:18:33Speaker 6: he said, you know, let's Let the dust settle and
- 1:18:36Speaker 6: pick the scraps. That's what L.A. Knight said. And Solo's like,
- 1:18:39Speaker 6: I don't know if I can wait that long. So
- 1:18:42Speaker 6: that's gonna get kind of interesting we'll see where that
- 1:18:44Speaker 6: goes uh and then last boring thing that happened on
- 1:18:50Speaker 6: raw besides as was joe henry and a funko pop
- 1:18:55Speaker 6: involving javon evans making fun of jd mcdonough yeah peak
- 1:19:03Speaker 6: peak raw so But, yeah, that's it that happened on Raw.
- 1:19:09Speaker 6: I mean, I did not catch all of SmackDown, but
- 1:19:13Speaker 6: I heard Johnny Gargano finally stood up and he had
- 1:19:18Speaker 6: a match with CM Punk. You know, gave him a
- 1:19:21Speaker 6: WWE Championship match. And, you know, earlier we were talking
- 1:19:26Speaker 6: about finishers and how many finishers it took to put
- 1:19:30Speaker 6: some wrestlers away. And, you know, we didn't have to
- 1:19:33Speaker 6: get that with this match. You know, it was just
- 1:19:35Speaker 6: a really good quality match. And I hope, pray to God,
- 1:19:41Speaker 6: Johnny doesn't go back to Johnny laying down. He can
- 1:19:45Speaker 6: maybe be Johnny Wrestling again. You know? He even came
- 1:19:50Speaker 6: out with his old theme music. You know, Rebel Heart. So,
- 1:19:55Speaker 6: I'd hate to see this guy's fucking talent wasted.
- 1:19:59Speaker 3: Because.
- 1:20:00Speaker 6: If you've ever seen him, he's going to be Johnny
- 1:20:03Speaker 6: roster cuts, dude. Yeah.
- 1:20:06Speaker 3: Or he could be on his way out. Yeah.
- 1:20:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:20:10Speaker 6: Who knows when his contractor is up, you know, uh,
- 1:20:14Speaker 6: if he can goes right to a W, but Champa
- 1:20:17Speaker 6: didn't Champa was champion for like a short amount of time.
- 1:20:20Speaker 6: And then I don't know what he's doing now. So
- 1:20:24Speaker 6: just the grass isn't always greener on the other side. Um,
- 1:20:30Speaker 6: I heard that report from Bobby Lashley.
- 1:20:32Speaker 5: He's doing what he was doing with the.
- 1:20:35Speaker 6: Yeah. I heard Bobby Lashley's not happy with AEW right now.
- 1:20:39Speaker 6: And he said the grass isn't always greener on the
- 1:20:41Speaker 6: other side, I guess. So, with the way he's being booked...
- 1:20:45Speaker 6: He's not doing a hell of a lot.
- 1:20:47Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:20:48Speaker 3: And North Shelton, Benjamin R.
- 1:20:50Speaker 6: MVP, yeah. It's almost like they brought.
- 1:20:53Speaker 3: Y'all in for the cheap pop in the moment, and
- 1:20:56Speaker 3: then it was like, they're done.
- 1:20:58Speaker 6: You know what, Dre? There was a lot of times
- 1:21:01Speaker 6: when AEW first started. I think they're seven years in now.
- 1:21:08Speaker 6: But the first three years, just the reveal of who
- 1:21:14Speaker 6: signed with the company and the showing up, the huge pop.
- 1:21:18Speaker 6: So-and-so's all elite, yeah.
- 1:21:22Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:21:23Speaker 6: That's gone. That's gone. To me, that aura, that feeling
- 1:21:28Speaker 6: is just gone. So, even though, yes, we had the
- 1:21:33Speaker 6: New Day show up, but I felt like that was
- 1:21:38Speaker 6: going to always happen. You know, the second they got released,
- 1:21:41Speaker 6: I was like, oh, I know exactly where they're going
- 1:21:43Speaker 6: to show up. And it's not TNA. They're not going
- 1:21:46Speaker 6: to go for the TNA titles, tag titles, anytime soon. So.
- 1:21:50Speaker 3: Well, yeah, because a lot of people wanted to air
- 1:21:53Speaker 3: My Name Mama and hinted at it.
- 1:21:54Speaker 6: Yep.
- 1:21:55Speaker 3: To AEW's credit, I think that also is because they,
- 1:21:58Speaker 3: at this point, they're established enough as the second viable
- 1:22:04Speaker 3: option outside of WWE. They've at least established themselves with
- 1:22:09Speaker 3: that level of credibility to where any star of significance
- 1:22:13Speaker 3: who leaves WWE, everybody's first thought is, are they going
- 1:22:16Speaker 3: to go to AEW? We've seen enough back and forth
- 1:22:19Speaker 3: and enough traveling to where it's like, okay, this isn't
- 1:22:22Speaker 3: somebody who's going to get cut from WWE and just
- 1:22:26Speaker 3: disappear into the indies or you know they get cut
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: from WWE and they're not big enough for AEW so
- 1:22:32Speaker 3: they might turn up in TNA or anything like that
- 1:22:35Speaker 3: if it's anybody of significance that leaves the E people
- 1:22:39Speaker 3: are going to automatically wonder if when and if they're
- 1:22:43Speaker 3: going to appear in AEW.
- 1:22:46Speaker 10: Right good call with the New Day in particular their
- 1:22:52Speaker 10: unique case I think where they I think both those
- 1:22:54Speaker 10: dudes didn't have to go anywhere if they didn't want to.
- 1:22:58Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:22:58Speaker 8: I think they both have enough other shit going on. Um,
- 1:23:02Speaker 8: you know, I mean, maybe even if it's, they, they got,
- 1:23:05Speaker 8: maybe they could make up. Let me try that again.
- 1:23:09Speaker 8: Maybe they got the opportunity in the first place because
- 1:23:11Speaker 8: of wrestling. But at this point, you know, uh, uh, uh,
- 1:23:16Speaker 8: Woodsy's got his video game shit.
- 1:23:18Speaker 5: You know what I mean?
- 1:23:20Speaker 3: Joke. Joke.
- 1:23:21Speaker 5: Kofi's doing all kinds of charity stuff.
- 1:23:23Speaker 8: I think they both made money and they both made
- 1:23:25Speaker 8: money outside of WWE. So I think if they didn't
- 1:23:29Speaker 8: want to do it anymore, I wouldn't have been surprised
- 1:23:33Speaker 8: if they just hung it up, you know.
- 1:23:35Speaker 5: But good for them, you know. They look good so far.
- 1:23:41Speaker 8: They're having fun with Swerve, so I certainly can't fault
- 1:23:44Speaker 8: them for it.
- 1:23:46Speaker 3: Not at all.
- 1:23:50Speaker 6: Yeah. Well, that's all I got guys for this week. Um,
- 1:23:58Speaker 6: you know, we got, we got like a month or,
- 1:24:01Speaker 6: you know, almost a month until exactly a month until the,
- 1:24:04Speaker 6: the PLE, uh, the next one, money in the bank.
- 1:24:09Speaker 6: So we might do a bracket between now and then
- 1:24:13Speaker 6: I'll figure out something to kind of fill our time. Uh,
- 1:24:17Speaker 6: Tyler should be back soon. He's still working on his
- 1:24:19Speaker 6: new place, getting set up and get his own computer
- 1:24:22Speaker 6: and stuff. Cause, uh, I'm changing my studio back into
- 1:24:25Speaker 6: a one-man studio because I like it and I need
- 1:24:28Speaker 6: the space. Yeah. Dre, do you want to plug anything?
- 1:24:37Speaker 3: As always, Instagram.com slash podcast championship wrestling.
- 1:24:42Speaker 6: All right. Doyle. Yep.

- 1:25:06Speaker 6: episodes up there. With that said, let's get the hell
- 1:25:10Speaker 6: out of here.
- 1:25:16Speaker 2: You are the world's dumbest son of a bitch.
- 1:25:23Speaker 15: The fact that day in and day out, for almost
- 1:25:25Speaker 15: six years, I have proved to everybody in the world
- 1:25:28Speaker 15: that I am the best on this microphone, in that ring,
- 1:25:32Speaker 15: even in commentary.
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: Nobody can touch me.
- 1:25:35Speaker 6: You are not ready for Oscars!
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: Because the street profits are up and we.
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: Want to smoke your neck.
- 1:25:50Speaker 4: Talk about your songs.
- 1:25:51Speaker 2: Talk about John 316.
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: Austin 316 says I just whipped your ass. Well, let
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: me tell you something, brother.
- 1:26:09Speaker 4: New day. Cream will rise to the top.
- 1:26:14Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 1:26:15Speaker 3: My Joe Madness here.
- 1:26:17Speaker 4: Welcome to the Kevin Owens Show.
- 1:26:21Speaker 6: Lately, he just hasn't been very ooshy.
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: Because I'm the Miz, and I'm... Those rotten bastards.
- 1:26:41Speaker 3: Bye-bye, bitch.
