- 0:00Hey, thanks for stopping by the a Rancher Radio podcast.
- 0:03It is good to have you. And we're going to talk about
- 0:06some what I think are some exciting news regarding the
- 0:08podcast. Also, it had the weekend to
- 0:12thoroughly enjoy a piece of the Urantia book and I want to share
- 0:17with you some of what my takeaway was on paper 60, which
- 0:22talks about the beginnings of Earth.
- 0:24Also, February 11th. Mark it on your calendar.
- 0:27There's going to be a huge Zoom event.
- 0:31People who read and study and share in the Urantia book at the
- 0:33fellowship as well as the foundation are celebrating 100
- 0:37years. Of the revelation.
- 0:41And if you go to my website, your answer, radio dotnet look
- 0:44on the right side and you'll see an announcement about that very
- 0:47event and click away and get more information on how you can
- 0:51be a part of it too and will continue with your Ranch Radio
- 0:54podcast right here. All right, I want to talk about
- 1:00something that has to do with the Rancho book and what we've
- 1:03been calling it and I want to change the name of it and I want
- 1:06to slightly change the direction of it because I think the
- 1:10Urantia book radio concept, which was born out of this idea
- 1:15of broadcasting to the world. Well as I've grown and as I
- 1:19become more What's the word aware of the magnificence of the
- 1:26Rancho book? I also realize that far too many
- 1:31people will just simply at this point in our time.
- 1:35Now they just won't be able to, they're not going to be able to
- 1:39grasp, unless they have the courage and the desire to reach
- 1:44out above their comfort level. And take a serious look at what
- 1:47the Rancho book has to say. Every time I read it, and And it
- 1:52doesn't matter how long I read it.
- 1:54I am just more and more convinced for example over the
- 1:57weekend, I spent a great deal of time reading about the early
- 2:02evolution of of our world from the time.
- 2:05When life first appeared, almost 600 million years ago all the
- 2:11way down to the appearance of man himself and the Rancho
- 2:15authors and incidentally the author of the first paper and
- 2:19papers 60. Is a is a Resident Life carrier
- 2:24who helped initiate life. So think about that for a
- 2:27moment, you have a personality being who has been mandated by
- 2:32Gabriel to write or provide a narrative to the beginnings of
- 2:38Earth. And it just so happens that the
- 2:41person that they That they assign.
- 2:44This task 2 is actually a life carrier, no longer resident on
- 2:48Urantia. By the way, no longer here on
- 2:52our world and his job was complete.
- 2:56Once the appearance of will creatures came about the
- 3:00beginnings of the first humans, so just that nugget of
- 3:04information alone. I would say 95% of the world
- 3:09would not know what to do with that piece of information.
- 3:13It takes a long time to get to the point where you understand
- 3:16the gravity of the situation. Now, the implication of that
- 3:19story of a life carrier who can narrate is easily on display.
- 3:25Anybody can read it. And you would be absolutely
- 3:30convinced after reading it that whoever wrote it had some hand
- 3:35in it. You would just that kind of
- 3:37Truth would just dump. You know, you can read and
- 3:40assess the quality of something that someone does and, you know,
- 3:44instinctively on a gut guttural level.
- 3:48But that person has Authority. That person is telling you
- 3:52something that has a great Ring Of Truth.
- 3:56And I would dare say that any scientist worth his salt would
- 4:00be better for it. If they would open up the Rancho
- 4:02book and read from paper 60, And learn what you can about the way
- 4:08they describe the geological history book, and the
- 4:11inundations, and the rising, and the falling of the continents
- 4:16and the successive waves of flooding, worldwide, flooding
- 4:20and how all that transpired over.
- 4:22Well, literally 600 million years and they take us through
- 4:26every stage of life when it first appears, how it evolves,
- 4:31how it evolves out of the ocean, What's happening in our
- 4:35atmosphere during these periods of time?
- 4:38It steps of through the six glacial periods that occurred
- 4:43over a, I guess, it was about a six million Pier, 6 million,
- 4:47maybe 10 million a year stretch. It talks about the beginning of
- 4:52plants and animals, and what the Earth was like back, then it
- 4:56talks about Shale and coal deposits, and it talks about how
- 5:00energy and materials, the actual mass that Makes up the Earth has
- 5:04been distributed and all of this doesn't just come out of the
- 5:07whim of a man with a fanciful imagination.
- 5:11I would also say or assert that every statement made regarding
- 5:16the geological history book in the Urantia book would be proven
- 5:20correct if someone would have the tenacity and The Bravery to
- 5:25prove it. So even if you can't buy into a
- 5:31life carrier concept, the concept of a life carrier, son,
- 5:34whose job it is is to initiate and come up with the genetic
- 5:40material needed to make life as it is today.
- 5:44If you can't handle that kind of idea, you can at least learn
- 5:48something about the history of humanity, that might teach you a
- 5:51thing or two about how things work.
- 5:56So Evolution and religion are not mutually exclusive, but most
- 6:01of the world can't fathom one, without the other, they either
- 6:05believe 100% in scientism, that everything is natural causation.
- 6:13Which is what the scientists research today.
- 6:16Which is a secular approach to viewing life.
- 6:19Because what you're basically saying is that there was no
- 6:22intent, everything just happens. There's no intent behind it.
- 6:27There's no motivation. There's no product.
- 6:29There's no process. There's no plan.
- 6:31And yet everything in nature, tells us that this is an
- 6:36intelligent operation. So having said that getting back
- 6:42to my first point the your Rancher Radio podcast was more
- 6:47or less designed to bring the Urantia book to the general
- 6:50public for people who might be driving by looking for truth and
- 6:55they might be attracted to the concepts.
- 6:58But I can tell by even though I'm extremely thrilled with the
- 7:04audience and how it's grown over the past few years, I'm nowhere
- 7:09near where I think I should be. I think we should have 10,000.
- 7:13Maybe 50,000 people around the world, who would be excited
- 7:17enough about a new revelation such as the Rancher book, where
- 7:22they would, they would just absolutely love.
- 7:26You know this this kind of a podcast and it does well don't
- 7:30get me wrong. The more work I put into it, the
- 7:33more listeners we get I get great feedback all the time and
- 7:36I'm not suggesting that I would terminate that program at all.
- 7:41In fact, what I'd like to do is focus it, what I'd like to do is
- 7:44bring Focus to it and really get into the nuts and bolts of what
- 7:48makes this book so damn. Fantastic.
- 7:52And in order to do so the listeners to this podcast, have
- 7:55to know something about the Rancher book.
- 7:59You know, so there are in my opinion.
- 8:01There are people who've been reading it.
- 8:03Initially people who read it a lot and have read a lot for a
- 8:09long time, or people have read about it and maybe it just some
- 8:13point they just stopped reading and, you know, they enjoy it,
- 8:17but they don't really, you know, their whole life isn't about it.
- 8:22Now I happen to be in the second category which is that I read it
- 8:25all the time and I think it's extremely important to the
- 8:28progress of humanity. And I will say that if I hadn't
- 8:32read the Rancho book, I don't know what kind of a person I
- 8:35would be today. Because the Urantia book opens
- 8:40the door reality and expands Beyond just this Mortal plan and
- 8:43of time and space. And I think it presents for the
- 8:47first time. A comprehensive conceptual
- 8:52understanding of the universe as being something that is, in
- 8:56fact, organized by a deity, a deity, the First Source and
- 9:01Center. This is the god of personality,
- 9:06the god of love, the god of Mercy, the god of the sun, the
- 9:10god, of the spirit, I believe all of that.
- 9:12And I think that's your your You want a ticket to continue that
- 9:17ride? Then you have to at least be
- 9:21interested in those those those things.
- 9:24And I'm not saying it's a qualitative statement, it's not
- 9:27a litmus test that you have to read the Rancho book in order to
- 9:31progress. But what I'm saying is in your
- 9:33own mortal life here and now, you can progress tremendously
- 9:38just in the material Realm by improving your conceptual ideas
- 9:44of what makes up reality. And everybody has their own
- 9:50concept of what they think life is, and the ranch a book.
- 9:54Just says it as it is that we are, in fact, part of a major
- 10:00plan, we are part of something that is incredible.
- 10:05And I think that, that would change the quality of thinking
- 10:08among people, you say, well, my wife and I talked about this.
- 10:12When we watch the news, you know, how can people be so evil?
- 10:17Well, you know a lot of it has to do with the people's
- 10:19misunderstanding. They don't know what there is.
- 10:23You know, a lot of people that fall from religion, they don't
- 10:27know. They they're not given good
- 10:28answers. Your answer book gives good
- 10:32answers. But you have to be looking and
- 10:35you have to be open to the idea that it's possible.
- 10:39No believing that Jesus is a stole son.
- 10:42Takes faith. But at least in the Rancho book,
- 10:45you can read his entire life and then make the determination
- 10:48based on that. And I suppose you can get that
- 10:53through scripture F, absolutely. I mean, people have been going
- 10:57to scripture since scripture started.
- 11:02The truth of Jesus are so profound and so contagious that
- 11:08even in a limited and morsel amount.
- 11:10Look how much he's done for this world.
- 11:13But so the direction I want to take is just really just a name
- 11:18change. I just want to call it inside
- 11:21the ranch a book or inside the, you be the podcast.
- 11:26The term radio is not truly served in this medium because
- 11:31it's not a radio and we're not on the radio, we used to be, we
- 11:34used to have a radio feed that was continuous.
- 11:37And you know, I may even very well bring that back because it
- 11:41was just the narration of the Rancho book itself.
- 11:44So you truly could call it the ranch of AG radio where it just
- 11:47plays the audio. But I find the audio of the
- 11:50original audio of the Urantia book sort of lacks.
- 11:54It's not Full enough and I am in no position to take the entire
- 12:00book and turned it into audio. There's no reason for me to do
- 12:04that it would be a duplicitous task.
- 12:07Someone else has already done it and I don't want to take their
- 12:10audio and feed it on my program because that wouldn't be right
- 12:14to them. They have their own ways to
- 12:16Urantia book. The Fellowship, they all have
- 12:18their own ways of you being able to listen to the audio narration
- 12:23of the Rancho book. So that's not something that
- 12:25that I need to do. But what I want to do is delve
- 12:28into the subject matter and analyze it and talk about it.
- 12:32That's why I think the title inside the UB or inside the
- 12:37Rancho book is a much more accurate description of what the
- 12:41podcast is all about, but I'm going to leave.
- 12:44Leave it to you. And I want to, I want to just
- 12:47stop here and let you mull it over and I know some of my
- 12:51wonderful faithful listeners will give me their opinion, what
- 12:54they think. And I hope that you do also to
- 12:59start this off in the next Edition.
- 13:02I want to delve into some of my favorite radio passages from
- 13:06each of the four parts of the book with the that I think are
- 13:10just absolutely wonderful. So we'll do that next time up.
- 13:13Plus we'll have some guests stopping by as well.
- 13:15In the meantime, if you want to reach out to me, the email
- 13:18address is your answer book radio at gmail.com, so I may
- 13:23have to change that. Your answer book radio at
- 13:27gmail.com is still active. I'll keep it active, but I want
- 13:31to change the name of the podcast to inside the UB or
- 13:35inside inside the ranch a book. And I want to get your opinion
- 13:39on that. So give me your opinion.
- 13:41And until next time, thanks for stopping by and God bless.
