GIANTS POSTCAST: DISASTROUS DEFENSE Dooms Giants in Series Loss to Astros
The San Francisco Giants held on to a narrow lead for the majority of this game, but a few key defensive miscues combined with a lack of clutch hitting allowed the Houston Astros to steal this one away. The 2-1 loss gives the San Francisco Giants their 22nd series loss of the season and spoils Adrian Houser's great start, as he tossed six innings of shutout ball. Willy Adames exited this game with a back injury, and Tony Vitello said postgame that it is time for the shortstop to focus more on treatment instead of playing every day.
