- 0:14Speaker 1: All right, no comments on the music this morning, please.
- 0:34Speaker 1: All right. I was, um, feeling a little surf for
- 0:39Speaker 1: 60s this morning. I know, when you think of a surfer,
- 0:47Speaker 1: you think of me.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Sure.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Good morning, everybody. Hope you're off to a delightful start.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Look at that, Papa G's right there. Sauces, dinners, cheesecakes,
- 1:03Speaker 1: and that's just some of what Papa G's has been cooking.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Have you seen some of the recent videos... of G
- 1:14Speaker 1: cooking it up, oh my God, over at his place.
- 1:19Speaker 1: He genuinely loves doing this. Other than gardening, I don't know,
- 1:29Speaker 1: and of course going to the mat, I don't know
- 1:32Speaker 1: of any other thing that G loves to do more.
- 1:37Speaker 1: The guy spends so much time in his kitchen making
- 1:42Speaker 1: sauces and so many other things. And I swear, and
- 1:46Speaker 1: I live, um, about 16 miles away. I swear I
- 1:51Speaker 1: can smell it at my house when he's been cooking
- 1:56Speaker 1: sauces all day with his grandmother's recipe from Italy, which
- 2:02Speaker 1: he'll probably not share with you. Thanks for sharing your morning. However,
- 2:08Speaker 1: with me, I hope you're off to a great start.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Thanks for tuning in. Um, Hope the coffee's hot. Hope
- 2:14Speaker 1: you're feeling well. We've got the aired out podcast live
- 2:18Speaker 1: from North main street in Barry, Vermont. We're streamed everywhere.
- 2:22Speaker 1: You get your podcast. It doesn't matter. Uh, find us
- 2:26Speaker 1: aired out. VT.com is kind of, well, Woodland studios put
- 2:31Speaker 1: that all together for me in one spot, one hub,
- 2:35Speaker 1: Vermont road construction report, man. We got a lot to
- 2:38Speaker 1: talk about this morning. We'll get to it. Um, Maybe
- 2:42Speaker 1: going to be a little abbreviated. Got some big things
- 2:45Speaker 1: going on right now with the 20 stores in 20
- 2:49Speaker 1: days tour, which we are into it, man, in a
- 2:56Speaker 1: big way. What is this? Store number 11, I think.
- 3:01Speaker 1: I may have lost count. But, man, we are hitting them.
- 3:06Speaker 1: 20 stores. 20 Vermont country stores in 20 days. J.D.,
- 3:11Speaker 1: what in the hell were you thinking? That's the question
- 3:14Speaker 1: I've been asked a lot by some friends and, frankly,
- 3:19Speaker 1: some store owners. What are you thinking, trying to visit
- 3:24Speaker 1: 20 stores in 20 days? I don't know. But I
- 3:30Speaker 1: know this. Our Vermont stores... Our country stores have been
- 3:34Speaker 1: around for a long friggin' time, and they work so hard,
- 3:41Speaker 1: and they deserve the spotlight. Vermont Road Construction report this morning,
- 3:47Speaker 1: 89 southbound. Of course, they're resurfacing. They're trying to get
- 3:52Speaker 1: these jobs in before the snow flies, and it's already flown. Waterbury,
- 3:58Speaker 1: between exit 10 and Montpelier, exit 8. So expect some
- 4:01Speaker 1: delays in there. The southbound lane is going to be
- 4:06Speaker 1: closed Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Okay?
- 4:14Speaker 1: From mile marker 54.6, one mile north of Exit 8
- 4:21Speaker 1: to the Exit 8 interchange. So keep that in mind.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Spread the word. Slow down. Speed limit 55. Don't do 56.
- 4:32Speaker 1: because the fines are doubled, I'm going to post this
- 4:35Speaker 1: up on the Airdop page, all right, so that you
- 4:37Speaker 1: can share it along. Bethel Brookfield, that paving project, single
- 4:44Speaker 1: lane closures and a reduced 55 mile per hour speed limit,
- 4:49Speaker 1: daytime hours, Monday through Friday. I'm looking on the VTrans
- 4:52Speaker 1: page right now, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Statewide, we've
- 4:58Speaker 1: got line striping. that's going on. Trying to get down
- 5:04Speaker 1: some fresh paint before the plows can scrape it off.
- 5:10Speaker 1: So watch for cones. Watch for wet paint. Don't get
- 5:14Speaker 1: wet paint on the tires. Don't be an ass around
- 5:20Speaker 1: the wet paint stuff. Today is National Make a Dog's Day.
- 5:27Speaker 1: I'll say it again. National, make a dog's day. Do
- 5:32Speaker 1: you have a dog? Have you been over to 802 Paws? Probably,
- 5:40Speaker 1: I say probably, but I know I'm starting to sound
- 5:45Speaker 1: like Trump here, but maybe definitely the best groomer anywhere
- 5:53Speaker 1: on the eastern seaboard? It's possible. it's very possible get
- 6:00Speaker 1: over and meet these three ladies who are driving the
- 6:02Speaker 1: bus over there at 802 pause right up the road
- 6:06Speaker 1: from the studio here all right right on route 14
- 6:09Speaker 1: just outside of town can't miss it right across from
- 6:13Speaker 1: the car wash you'll see their sign right there 802
- 6:16Speaker 1: pause okay um G goes there. Figgy loves it. We'll
- 6:25Speaker 1: be talking more about that tomorrow when G comes in.
- 6:28Speaker 1: We are nine days away from Halloween. And I've been
- 6:33Speaker 1: asked if I'm planning to wear my Halloween costume tomorrow
- 6:39Speaker 1: morning on the air. And I haven't decided yet. I
- 6:44Speaker 1: have Sherilyn, who has given me a whole heap of
- 6:48Speaker 1: pushback on it, warning me not to do it. I
- 6:53Speaker 1: haven't decided yet. But yeah, nine days to Halloween. Incredible.
- 7:01Speaker 1: What's happening on Halloween night? I'll tell you, if you're
- 7:04Speaker 1: not doing trick-or-treating and you want to go to a
- 7:09Speaker 1: party that's not necessarily being stamped as a Halloween party,
- 7:14Speaker 1: but you want to go out and have some fun,
- 7:17Speaker 1: a lot of fun, wait till you hear what's happening.
- 7:20Speaker 1: I'll tell you all about it. At about 9.30 this morning.
- 7:24Speaker 1: It's going to be incredible. 10 days until Daylight Savings ends. 10.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Birthdays today.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Let's see.
- 7:33Speaker 1: What do we have? Dylan Mears. Nanette Smith. Chris Winters.
- 7:40Speaker 1: We have Rob Swanson. Desiree Anderson. Let's see. Barb Dupree.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Nancy Moran. Victor Hennings. all on the birthday list today. Shelby, Lynn,
- 7:51Speaker 1: and Shaggy, by the way, sharing the same number of 58.
- 7:54Speaker 1: We're looking at partly cloudy skies this morning. We're hovering
- 7:58Speaker 1: right above that freezing point, around 31, 32 degrees here
- 8:02Speaker 1: in central Vermont. Please don't make fun of us, Crystal,
- 8:06Speaker 1: in North Carolina. I know. We have the early morning fog,
- 8:11Speaker 1: which is beautiful. It's coming down the heights. Blue sky, beautiful.
- 8:15Speaker 1: I see that blanket of fog. laying down there in
- 8:19Speaker 1: the valley. And I'm like, oh, this is, I'm going
- 8:22Speaker 1: to go right into it. And it was literally a
- 8:25Speaker 1: blanket that I drove right underneath. Uh, I can't remember
- 8:29Speaker 1: where that break point was. It was somewhere, um, right
- 8:32Speaker 1: up near the reservoir. I think it was just beautiful.
- 8:35Speaker 1: See crystal, you don't get that. But anyway, um, yeah,
- 8:44Speaker 1: so we're down, um, we're down, upper 20s, lower 30s
- 8:49Speaker 1: at night tomorrow. Friday, partly cloudy around 54 degrees, 26
- 8:54Speaker 1: for the low, and then Saturday, partly cloudy around 58 degrees.
- 8:59Speaker 1: I'm loving this weather. I'm trying to get in a
- 9:02Speaker 1: little bit of extra spray foam on the outside of
- 9:07Speaker 1: the house and the perimeter of the house before the
- 9:10Speaker 1: real shit hits. And I'm loving these temperatures. And thank you,
- 9:15Speaker 1: Mother Nature, if you're listening. this morning for giving us
- 9:20Speaker 1: those temperatures. In the news, and let's start with sports
- 9:26Speaker 1: because this news is like crazy right now. Week seven,
- 9:32Speaker 1: Thursday night football. Tonight, prime video. Pats and Bears, 8-15,
- 9:38Speaker 1: Soldier Field in Chicago. I'll be watching. I hope you
- 9:42Speaker 1: will be too. I know you're going to have your
- 9:44Speaker 1: fluffy little Pats jammies on. Or your Pat's blanket here
- 9:50Speaker 1: in the North Country. Anyway, both teams coming in at 4-2.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Caleb Williams against Drake May. It's going to be a
- 9:57Speaker 1: rematch of Super Bowl XX. Hope you're going to be
- 10:00Speaker 1: watching tonight. World Series set to go Friday night. Rays
- 10:05Speaker 1: and Brewers. Either way, baseball is going to be crowning
- 10:09Speaker 1: a first-time champion. And that's exciting. That's what I love.
- 10:16Speaker 1: leaning a little bit towards the Brewers, please don't ask
- 10:20Speaker 1: me why. And if G asks me why tomorrow, I
- 10:25Speaker 1: will try to come up with an insightful answer. But
- 10:29Speaker 1: I don't have one right now. I just don't. Other
- 10:34Speaker 1: than the fact that they just haven't been to the
- 10:37Speaker 1: World Series in, what, 44 years? Something like that? I
- 10:42Speaker 1: don't know. But game one, Friday night, 8 o'clock on
- 10:44Speaker 1: Fox in Milwaukee. Logan Luce, Athletics Podcast. He's going to
- 10:50Speaker 1: be talking about it, of course. On the high school
- 10:53Speaker 1: sports scene, postseason soccer moving forward, Montpelier shutout, Springfield 4-0,
- 11:00Speaker 1: Division II boys, playoff brackets continuing to advance. It's exciting.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Got to get to a high school soccer game. Got
- 11:09Speaker 1: to Lily's soccer game yesterday, which is a grade 5-6,
- 11:15Speaker 1: which was, I just love it. Love it so much.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Got to bring the cowbell. National News. Justice Department has
- 11:24Speaker 1: arrested 28 people accused of being non-citizens who registered to
- 11:28Speaker 1: vote in California. Are you surprised about this? I'm not.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Reports indicate most were registered as Republicans with some potentially
- 11:38Speaker 1: registered through the state's Department of Motor Vehicles. Meanwhile, And
- 11:46Speaker 1: we've got a local story about DMV as well. Maybe
- 11:50Speaker 1: you've read it this morning. Maybe you haven't. I don't know. Meanwhile,
- 11:52Speaker 1: we got reports out of Washington saying that Elon Musk
- 11:57Speaker 1: has ordered the shutdown of Starshield Communications in Ukraine. While
- 12:06Speaker 1: the administration is withholding weapons aid. Big, big stories right
- 12:14Speaker 1: now in the world. along with the Iran standoff, which
- 12:19Speaker 1: continues to dominate the headlines. Iran's president says there's going
- 12:24Speaker 1: to be no talks with the United States until Iran's
- 12:28Speaker 1: demands are met, period. Meanwhile, Pakistan's army chief is in
- 12:34Speaker 1: Tehran trying to find a way to prevent renewed conflict.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Dominating world headlines. Yeah. I would say so. Things are
- 12:51Speaker 1: hot in the Middle East. Really are. The Saudi-led coalition
- 12:56Speaker 1: says it intercepted drones over Medina in the eastern region.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Yemen's Houthi rebels deny launching any drones toward Medina anyway.
- 13:10Speaker 1: And in Africa... Nigeria reporting its first Ebola case in
- 13:17Speaker 1: about a decade. Huge headlines this morning in the world.
- 13:22Speaker 1: This is a patient who is a foreign woman who
- 13:26Speaker 1: traveled from Uganda through the Democratic Republic of Congo, where
- 13:32Speaker 1: a major Ebola outbreak is underway, by the way. I'll
- 13:37Speaker 1: tell you what, I'm glad I'm sitting right here on
- 13:40Speaker 1: North Main Street in Nigeria. small-town USA. Really. Vermont politics.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Governor Phil Scott, Democratic progressive Amanda Janu facing off last
- 13:54Speaker 1: night in their first debate of the race with less
- 14:02Speaker 1: than two weeks before Election Day. They meet again tonight
- 14:06Speaker 1: at 8 o'clock on NBC5, followed by another debate on
- 14:10Speaker 1: October 28th on WCAX, did you watch last night? What
- 14:15Speaker 1: was your biggest takeaway? They both had some great points.
- 14:23Speaker 1: And that's not just me hanging out on the double yellow.
- 14:28Speaker 1: They just really had both, in my opinion, some great points.
- 14:34Speaker 1: We'll dig in a little deeper tomorrow with G. But,
- 14:40Speaker 1: you know, Here's a reminder with Election Day approaching. You're
- 14:48Speaker 1: being encouraged to return your ballots by Dropbox or in
- 14:53Speaker 1: person to avoid potential mail delays. 70,000 ballots have been
- 15:04Speaker 1: returned so far. That's pretty good. Am I surprised about that?
- 15:14Speaker 2: No.
- 15:17Speaker 1: I'd like to see a little bit more. 70,000. Sad
- 15:26Speaker 1: story out of Colchester this morning. Vermont Information Processing, which
- 15:29Speaker 1: is a software company serving the beverage industry Announcing layoffs yesterday.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Here we go again. Another big Vermont company laying off
- 15:51Speaker 1: details about the number of employees affected have not been provided.
- 15:55Speaker 1: And I think that's disappointing. I'm not sure why this
- 16:02Speaker 1: company would withhold that to the media, but I hope
- 16:06Speaker 1: that they decide to be transparent and let everybody know
- 16:10Speaker 1: how many they're going to be laying off. Um, I
- 16:14Speaker 1: was just telling you about the DMV. Now we have
- 16:20Speaker 1: a woman out of Shelburne who's in the headlines this
- 16:24Speaker 1: morning in Vermont accused of forging documents submitted to the
- 16:28Speaker 1: Vermont DMV over several years. The allegations involve documents provided
- 16:37Speaker 1: to the DMV. No details, no further details have been
- 16:43Speaker 1: confirmed about this. Yeah, I'm biting my tongue a little bit.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Just a little bit. How? And here's one that may
- 17:00Speaker 1: or may not elevate the BP this morning. By the way,
- 17:09Speaker 1: we're going to lighten things up here around 9.30. Mighty
- 17:13Speaker 1: Mystic going to join me. I freaking love this guy.
- 17:21Speaker 1: But anyway, Berry City Council. Those are three buzzwords. Maybe
- 17:31Speaker 1: you should just take a deep breath here. We'll breathe
- 17:35Speaker 1: through the nose. Out of the mouth.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Okay. Okay.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Let's close our eyes and do that. Take a sip
- 17:48Speaker 1: of your coffee.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Relax.
- 17:53Speaker 1: In the news this morning in the Times-Argus, City Council is,
- 17:57Speaker 1: and I see right here in front of me, wrestling
- 18:00Speaker 1: with a familiar problem. Adjust my optical expressions glasses here.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Two Ps. Potholes and property taxes. Mayor Tom Lozon wants
- 18:20Speaker 1: to increase street and sidewalk funding from $ 800, 000 to $ 1
- 18:24Speaker 1: million next year. Eventually working toward a $ 1. 6 million annual
- 18:27Speaker 1: budget to tackle the city's deteriorating roads. 1.6. So we're
- 18:48Speaker 1: going to go from again from 800,000 to 1 million.
- 18:56Speaker 1: So former city manager Steve McKenzie, urging caution, arguing that
- 19:07Speaker 1: residents need a break. After recent property tax increases tied
- 19:11Speaker 1: to the citywide reappraisal. He says more money alone won't
- 19:19Speaker 1: fix the potholes. I tend to agree with Mr. McKenzie,
- 19:34Speaker 1: who has the utmost respect, mutual respect, between him and Lausanne.
- 19:44Speaker 1: But he says more money, throwing a lot of money
- 19:49Speaker 1: at the potholes. isn't going to fix the problem, especially
- 19:52Speaker 1: with five vacancies in the Public Works Department. Ouch. But
- 20:02Speaker 1: that begs to ask, you know, if money alone isn't
- 20:07Speaker 1: going to fix the pothole problem What will? So what will?
- 20:23Speaker 1: Counselors are weighing possible solutions, including hiring incentives and a
- 20:33Speaker 1: dedicated pothole repair crew. No decision has been made about this,
- 20:41Speaker 1: by the way. They're just talking about it. But, you know,
- 20:46Speaker 1: I think we would all agree that one thing is
- 20:49Speaker 1: very clear, and that's that Barry's roads need attention, as
- 20:57Speaker 1: do many communities in Vermont. But there's no... No way
- 21:06Speaker 1: in hell that we can have a local podcast and
- 21:11Speaker 1: not talk about the obvious right here. And it's not
- 21:16Speaker 1: just Main Street.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Wow.
- 21:23Speaker 1: City leaders trying to figure out how to pay for
- 21:26Speaker 1: it without putting even more pressure on taxpayers. And, of course...
- 21:34Speaker 1: You know, we need a new digester, too. That's got
- 21:43Speaker 1: a pretty price tag to it. And 143 Main Street here.
- 21:52Speaker 1: The big vacant building right down the road here from
- 21:55Speaker 1: the studio. What's the latest on that? I honestly... Maybe
- 22:03Speaker 1: I'm not paying attention, but I honestly haven't heard anything
- 22:08Speaker 1: other than we got it for a fantastic price tag.
- 22:16Speaker 1: But what's the latest? If you have heard anything about that,
- 22:22Speaker 1: please let me know. I'll reach out to somebody, see
- 22:24Speaker 1: if we can get someone on the air. Harwood News.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Unified Union considering closing two schools next year as Vermont
- 22:34Speaker 1: school districts grapple with declining enrollment, rising costs, and pressure
- 22:39Speaker 1: to make difficult budget decisions. I hope that, and that's
- 22:45Speaker 1: obviously one of the headlines in the news this morning,
- 22:49Speaker 1: and I hope that those running for election or re-election
- 22:53Speaker 1: are paying attention to these proposals as about how they're
- 22:58Speaker 1: going to affect the future of local schools and how
- 23:05Speaker 1: these potential closures could affect families and communities. Man, there's just, yeah.
- 23:23Speaker 1: I'll give you the community calendar here. And there's a
- 23:29Speaker 1: lot of stuff going on. A lot of stuff that's happening.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Last weekend alone was just, man. And it's just, the
- 23:40Speaker 1: events are everywhere, all over Facebook. We're lightening it up
- 23:45Speaker 1: this morning. Our community calendar is brought to you by
- 23:49Speaker 1: the world. Central Vermont's favorite weekly newspaper. You know that. VT-World.com.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Over 22,000 Vermonters every week read The World. Today, Thursday,
- 24:05Speaker 1: October 22nd, Dine Out to Make a Difference for Central
- 24:10Speaker 1: Vermont Home Health and Hospice. And it was great to
- 24:13Speaker 1: have Emily McKenna in here the other day. We're talking
- 24:16Speaker 1: about Sarducci's in Montpelier, The Wayside and Applebee's in Berlin,
- 24:22Speaker 1: Blackback Pub in Waterbury. Go there. Go to the wayside
- 24:27Speaker 1: this morning. And again, a portion of the day's sales
- 24:34Speaker 1: support Central Vermont Home Health and Hospice in their mission
- 24:38Speaker 1: to continue to help Vermonters in 23 different counties as
- 24:44Speaker 1: they have for the last 100 years. It's really cool.
- 24:55Speaker 1: There is... You know, one of the things I was
- 24:59Speaker 1: thinking this morning.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Is.
- 25:02Speaker 1: And I love... I love Halloween. You should see my house.
- 25:08Speaker 1: I should show you my house. I plan to. I will.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Because it's decorated to the nines right now for Halloween.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Sherilyn does such an incredible job. And I admit that
- 25:24Speaker 1: I probably... if I was a single guy, if I
- 25:29Speaker 1: was a bachelor, I probably wouldn't, I probably wouldn't do
- 25:33Speaker 1: any of it, but she has made our home look
- 25:38Speaker 1: so beautiful. And although I do make fun of her
- 25:43Speaker 1: quite a bit, um, I know an awful lot. We
- 25:47Speaker 1: have a Halloween tree in our house with the purple
- 25:53Speaker 1: lights on it. And it's a black tree, of course. Um,
- 25:58Speaker 1: You can't say a Halloween Christmas tree. You just have
- 26:00Speaker 1: to say a Halloween tree with the big lit up
- 26:04Speaker 1: pumpkins underneath it. I'll go live one of these mornings
- 26:07Speaker 1: over there. I'll show you. It's really incredible. If I
- 26:15Speaker 1: were not out trick-or-treating on Halloween night, which of course
- 26:23Speaker 1: I will be. I got a little girl. Of course
- 26:25Speaker 1: I'm going to be doing that. And I'll be dressed up.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Not in my inappropriate costume. But if I were not,
- 26:33Speaker 1: I'll tell you exactly where I would be. I would
- 26:36Speaker 1: be unfairly rocking my socks off with Mighty Mystic, who
- 26:46Speaker 1: is returning to Vermont. My man, good morning to you, brother.
- 26:53Speaker 2: Good morning, good morning. Great to be here. Great to
- 26:55Speaker 2: be chatting up with you. How's everybody doing?
- 26:56Speaker 1: We're doing great, man. Thank you in advance for coming
- 27:00Speaker 1: up here on Halloween night to give us some warmth
- 27:06Speaker 1: and some love under one roof. Right up there at
- 27:10Speaker 1: the town hall, man. You've done that show. You've done
- 27:13Speaker 1: that venue before, and you love it.
- 27:16Speaker 2: I absolutely love it.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Saw you and experienced you for.
- 27:22Speaker 1: The first time at the town hall and then at
- 27:25Speaker 1: the Green Mountain Reggae Festival. My brother, you bring the good.
- 27:29Speaker 1: You bring the love to so, so many Vermonters. We
- 27:33Speaker 1: love you up here so much, dude.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Likewise, man. Vermont is like home away from home for me.
- 27:40Speaker 2: It's lots of family and friends up there. It's always
- 27:43Speaker 2: a great time and good vibes and lots of energy.
- 27:46Speaker 2: So we love it, and we really can't wait to
- 27:48Speaker 2: come rock and bring the spooky reggae vibes to Fairleigh, man.
- 27:51Speaker 2: So we're encouraging everybody to come out and come get
- 27:54Speaker 2: some energy, some good vibes, bring the whole family out.
- 27:57Speaker 2: It's a family affair. It's fun. So come rock with
- 28:00Speaker 2: us Halloween night.
- 28:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I love the fact that you love the kids, man,
- 28:05Speaker 1: and you bring it to everybody of all ages. So,
- 28:11Speaker 1: you know, I have said before, Mighty Mystic, that you
- 28:16Speaker 1: are pretty much Eastern Seaboard. You're all over the place,
- 28:23Speaker 1: my man.
- 28:24Speaker 2: Yes. Yeah. You know, we love the road, man. We
- 28:27Speaker 2: love to go out there and bring the positive energy
- 28:29Speaker 2: to people. I feel like now more than ever, people
- 28:33Speaker 2: really need that. They need to kind of get away
- 28:35Speaker 2: from the stress of the world and just be together
- 28:38Speaker 2: with good company and dance and celebrate friendship and family
- 28:42Speaker 2: and music and togetherness and what better way to do
- 28:45Speaker 2: that with reggae music reggae has always been that type
- 28:49Speaker 2: of thing that we can just come together and under
- 28:51Speaker 2: one roof and one mission just have a great time
- 28:54Speaker 2: so I'm blessed and I'm fortunate to do that I
- 28:56Speaker 2: love to bring the positive vibes to the people and
- 28:58Speaker 2: I'm excited I'm excited to be up there.
- 29:01Speaker 1: This is I mean look at we're we're two we're
- 29:04Speaker 1: less than two weeks away from the election and right
- 29:09Speaker 1: now people are and you know this People are now
- 29:13Speaker 1: more divided than ever. And it's not just politically. In
- 29:20Speaker 1: so many different ways, man. And it's like, that's part
- 29:24Speaker 1: of the reason why I love reggae music so much.
- 29:28Speaker 1: I can't find a reggae song anywhere that has any
- 29:33Speaker 1: undertones or messaging in its lyrics that promotes division or... polarity?
- 29:41Speaker 2: No. See, the whole reggae mission is that we're opposed
- 29:45Speaker 2: to that. We're all about uniting people no matter where
- 29:48Speaker 2: you are, where you're from, how you look. None of that.
- 29:52Speaker 2: We just want family vibes. And, you know, the belief
- 29:56Speaker 2: is that when we are together... Us people, we are
- 29:59Speaker 2: the strongest. We are the happiest. When we remain together,
- 30:02Speaker 2: that's when we're at our best. And to your point,
- 30:05Speaker 2: you know, like whatever's going on in society, in the world,
- 30:09Speaker 2: it's trying to divide the population. So we need to
- 30:12Speaker 2: understand that and really come together and celebrate one another,
- 30:16Speaker 2: celebrate being family and friends and happiness. And I just,
- 30:20Speaker 2: I want that. You know, I want to see that.
- 30:22Speaker 2: And that's why we travel so much. We tour so hard.
- 30:26Speaker 2: We like to bring people together. no matter where we are,
- 30:29Speaker 2: just bring the community together and just smile and dance
- 30:33Speaker 2: and talk. You know, talking is such a wonderful thing.
- 30:36Speaker 2: You hear the stories about people's lives and background and
- 30:39Speaker 2: what they're going through and you can share that same
- 30:41Speaker 2: thing and we grow together. So yes, to your point, man,
- 30:44Speaker 2: reggae music is always that type of unifying music.
- 30:49Speaker 1: I want to hear about your roots. I want to
- 30:51Speaker 1: hear about roots reggae in your blood, man. What's your story?
- 30:55Speaker 1: What's the What's the inception of your story of how
- 30:59Speaker 1: you became a musician and where are you from and
- 31:02Speaker 1: all that?
- 31:04Speaker 2: So I was born in a little farming community in
- 31:08Speaker 2: Jamaica known as Goshen. It's, uh, located in St. Elizabeth. Um,
- 31:13Speaker 2: so I come from a long line of shepherds, my father, grandfather,
- 31:16Speaker 2: great grandfather, and so on. They're all shepherds in the
- 31:19Speaker 2: community where I'm from Goshen. Um, there's actually a song
- 31:23Speaker 2: I wrote, um, came out a few years ago called Goshen.
- 31:26Speaker 2: It kind of talks about my upbringing, where I'm from,
- 31:30Speaker 2: the community and all that kind of stuff. So if
- 31:31Speaker 2: people are interested, just type Mighty Mystic Goshen and you
- 31:34Speaker 2: can see that. But yeah, I'm from this farming community.
- 31:38Speaker 2: My father really instilled values, community values into all of us,
- 31:43Speaker 2: you know, the kids to take care of one another,
- 31:46Speaker 2: to be shepherds, you know. So I've taken that and
- 31:51Speaker 2: I've put into music, into song, And we're just sharing
- 31:55Speaker 2: that vibe. So yeah, I'm from St. Elizabeth's. I moved
- 31:58Speaker 2: to Boston as an early teen. Kind of got into
- 32:03Speaker 2: music that way. From when I was a kid growing
- 32:05Speaker 2: up in Jamaica, I remember the first time, before Boston,
- 32:08Speaker 2: first time I heard Bob Marley's music. I was like, wow,
- 32:13Speaker 2: what is this? What is this amazing art I'm hearing?
- 32:16Speaker 2: And I was a kid. I'm five, six years old.
- 32:18Speaker 2: So I remember talking to my folks about it and
- 32:21Speaker 2: them kind of, explaining who Molly is and what he
- 32:24Speaker 2: meant to music and to the world. And I kind
- 32:27Speaker 2: of dug deeper and started to peel the onion back
- 32:30Speaker 2: and just found some amazing things and messaging and things
- 32:36Speaker 2: like that. And I decided that at that moment as
- 32:38Speaker 2: a kid that I really wanted to take on this mission,
- 32:41Speaker 2: this adventure. So I've been doing it ever since I
- 32:44Speaker 2: was young. And like I was saying, I moved to
- 32:47Speaker 2: Boston and luckily got into a community that was already
- 32:50Speaker 2: thriving with with reggae and I was able to, you know,
- 32:54Speaker 2: build my thing that way. And then we started to tour.
- 32:57Speaker 2: I was touring from, I was, I don't know, 20
- 32:59Speaker 2: years old, so young. And it just stuck with me.
- 33:02Speaker 2: It just stuck to see people out there dancing and
- 33:05Speaker 2: smiling and being happy and people being happy together, make
- 33:10Speaker 2: me happy, you know, just kind of lit this fire
- 33:13Speaker 2: out of my soul that, wow, people need this. So
- 33:15Speaker 2: let's do this. Let's find out what, what else do
- 33:18Speaker 2: they need and keep growing on it, growing on it.
- 33:20Speaker 2: So that's my mission. That's, a quick summary of my journey. Wow.
- 33:25Speaker 1: And you've got some lineage in Jamaica that goes up
- 33:33Speaker 1: pretty high. There's some real clout there, man. Can you
- 33:35Speaker 1: tell us about that?
- 33:38Speaker 2: Yeah. So like I was saying, our father, my dad, Morris,
- 33:42Speaker 2: he really pushed his kids to go out into the
- 33:45Speaker 2: world and help as much as we can. So my
- 33:47Speaker 2: older brother, Andrew Holness, the most honorable Andrew Holness, is
- 33:52Speaker 2: the current prime minister of Jamaica, doing great things for
- 33:56Speaker 2: the country and just organizing and helping as best as
- 34:01Speaker 2: he can and leading the people. So, yeah, it's a
- 34:05Speaker 2: great lineage. I'm blessed to be a part of it.
- 34:08Speaker 2: We're all just out here trying to help people as
- 34:12Speaker 2: best as we can, either small way or big way.
- 34:16Speaker 2: But we're out here just trying to help.
- 34:18Speaker 1: Tell me about this tour that you're underway right now, man.
- 34:22Speaker 1: You're banging all over the place, man. I'm watching your social.
- 34:27Speaker 1: I see you going home. I see those videos, and
- 34:30Speaker 1: it's so beautiful in Jamaica. I think you're up in
- 34:33Speaker 1: the Blue Hills, if I'm not mistaken. Am I right?
- 34:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I spent some time there. Yes, for sure. We
- 34:39Speaker 2: were there. We jumped around. We were sent to Elizabeth.
- 34:44Speaker 2: We went to town, to Kingston, with different, different areas.
- 34:48Speaker 2: seeing what's going on, spending time with the family, with
- 34:51Speaker 2: the community. You know, we went through the hurricane situation
- 34:54Speaker 2: last year, and, you know, we're still helping to rebuild
- 34:57Speaker 2: that and being a part of that mission. So, yeah,
- 35:00Speaker 2: we were there a lot. But to your point, I'm
- 35:04Speaker 2: always traveling. We're always somewhere. We spent 140 different events,
- 35:11Speaker 2: concerts this year alone in the U.S., 140 alone in
- 35:15Speaker 2: the U.S. So we're quite busy. We're busy bringing the
- 35:19Speaker 2: good vibes to people. I'm really blessed and fortunate to
- 35:23Speaker 2: be in the situation that I could bring positive music,
- 35:28Speaker 2: something that I love to people. Yeah.
- 35:32Speaker 1: Where is this? You got a tour stop that's coming
- 35:35Speaker 1: up here in Vermont on the 31st, Halloween night, right
- 35:39Speaker 1: in Fairleigh. Man, that place is going to be packed.
- 35:43Speaker 1: I hope that the windows haven't been... screwed in too tight,
- 35:49Speaker 1: I hope we can open them because the heat inside
- 35:51Speaker 1: that room, and you know because you've done it.
- 35:55Speaker 2: It's going to be hot. It's going to be hot.
- 35:57Speaker 1: If you come in a Halloween costume, make sure it's
- 36:00Speaker 1: not furry and fluffy because you're going to be shredding
- 36:05Speaker 1: that off, man, because you will. Here's the thing. It's
- 36:08Speaker 1: like even people who do not dance, they don't move.
- 36:14Speaker 1: It's impossible to not dance. to your music. Impossible.
- 36:21Speaker 2: Yeah. We're going to get them shaken. We're going to
- 36:22Speaker 2: get them shaken. That's, that's ultimately, that's the mission. We
- 36:25Speaker 2: get people up, we get them dancing. We get them
- 36:28Speaker 2: feeling the vibrations of the music and soaking up the
- 36:31Speaker 2: good energy and the positive vibes that's within the material,
- 36:34Speaker 2: within the music. And you, you, you, you leave there
- 36:37Speaker 2: feeling lighter, feeling happy. So yes, we're going to dance.
- 36:41Speaker 2: We're going to open these windows up. We're going to sweat.
- 36:43Speaker 2: We're going to, we're going to sweat out all the,
- 36:45Speaker 2: all the stress that we might have. And we're just
- 36:47Speaker 2: going to, We're going to bring in all the warmth
- 36:49Speaker 2: and the happiness. So everybody come on, come out, put
- 36:52Speaker 2: on your dancing shoes and get ready for the big vibes.
- 36:56Speaker 1: Who else is sharing that stage with you, man?
- 37:01Speaker 2: Nate Jones is on the lineup with us. So that's
- 37:03Speaker 2: going to be amazing to kick things off. Myself, my band,
- 37:07Speaker 2: the Hard Roost Movement. I've heard there's going to be
- 37:11Speaker 2: a DJ on there as well. I'm not sure of
- 37:14Speaker 2: the name of the DJ yet. But it's a pretty
- 37:16Speaker 2: packed lineup. It's fun. It's family friendly. So we just
- 37:19Speaker 2: want everybody to come out and enjoy.
- 37:20Speaker 1: I don't know if you remember, but you were on
- 37:23Speaker 1: the air with me a couple of years ago. And
- 37:25Speaker 1: I was telling you about my little girl and how
- 37:28Speaker 1: we pulled up to the gas pump one day. Had
- 37:32Speaker 1: all the windows down in the car. And at the time,
- 37:36Speaker 1: I think she was maybe eight, seven or eight, something
- 37:41Speaker 1: like that. And she was singing. as loud as she
- 37:44Speaker 1: could to the music, which was as loud as it
- 37:47Speaker 1: could be, which was Calla Green.
- 37:51Speaker 2: Calla Green. I do remember this.
- 37:53Speaker 1: And she was singing it as loud as she could.
- 38:02Speaker 1: We had all the windows down, and I had some
- 38:05Speaker 1: folks that were looking over at me like, What the
- 38:09Speaker 1: hell is going on? What kind of father are you?
- 38:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I love that. That's classic. I love that, man.
- 38:18Speaker 1: Yo, it's the good vibes.
- 38:19Speaker 2: It's the good vibes.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Yeah, it really is, man. And it's easy to get tickets.
- 38:25Speaker 1: I've got all the info that's all over Facebook. Man,
- 38:28Speaker 1: we're watching your social, too. We can't wait for you
- 38:32Speaker 1: to bring the goods. Maybe this is not a fair question,
- 38:42Speaker 1: but of all of the musicians that are making up
- 38:48Speaker 1: a reggae band, which one, and I know it really
- 38:56Speaker 1: should be which two, but which one carries reggae music
- 39:04Speaker 1: maybe the most? Is it the bass band? Or the
- 39:08Speaker 1: relationship between the bass and the drums?
- 39:11Speaker 2: I would say it's a relationship between the drum and
- 39:13Speaker 2: the bass, for sure. It's like the backbone of reggae music.
- 39:17Speaker 2: You know, it's the saddle of which you sit on,
- 39:20Speaker 2: you know, when you're riding. You have to ride that rhythm.
- 39:23Speaker 2: You ride the vibes. So the drum and the bass
- 39:25Speaker 2: is like the saddle for the horse that you sit on.
- 39:28Speaker 2: you just and you lock in and you just you
- 39:30Speaker 2: just giddy up and you just go so you need
- 39:32Speaker 2: the drum and bass to be strong to be groovy
- 39:35Speaker 2: to be vibey so once those two things are locked
- 39:38Speaker 2: in everything else just sits nicely yeah sits nicely so
- 39:42Speaker 2: we got those two those two things drum and bass
- 39:45Speaker 2: locking nice and everything else is smooth so I'd say.
- 39:48Speaker 1: That yeah Great stuff, man. How can folks, how can folks,
- 39:54Speaker 1: I mean, you're on Spotify, you're on Pandora, you're everywhere, man.
- 39:57Speaker 1: But how can folks, what's your website? What's your social?
- 40:01Speaker 1: How can they find you? How can they engage with
- 40:03Speaker 1: you right now if they're not familiar with Mighty Mystic?
- 40:08Speaker 2: So I would encourage them to go to my website, MightyMystic.com.
- 40:13Speaker 2: But the easiest way, honestly, it's through Instagram and Facebook.
- 40:18Speaker 2: I check it. So I encourage people to send me
- 40:21Speaker 2: a message, you know, drop a comment on there because
- 40:24Speaker 2: I answer as much things as I can, as much
- 40:26Speaker 2: messages as comment back. There's no robot. There's not an
- 40:30Speaker 2: agent that's checking and doing it. I personally check my socials.
- 40:34Speaker 2: I love to engage with the fans. I love to
- 40:36Speaker 2: answer the questions. So please, everybody reach out to me
- 40:39Speaker 2: at your convenience. Let's talk. Let's have a convo. Come out,
- 40:42Speaker 2: watch a show. Things are really accessible and easy to
- 40:46Speaker 2: find out, you know, the dates where we're going to
- 40:48Speaker 2: be at. But I'm the one checking it, so please
- 40:51Speaker 2: reach out on my socials and let's connect. Yeah, man.
- 40:55Speaker 1: I was just in Bradford. I saw your posters everywhere
- 40:58Speaker 1: around Bradford.
- 40:59Speaker 2: Awesome.
- 41:00Speaker 1: But we want to, and I took a couple of
- 41:03Speaker 1: photos of them. We're going to blast them up on
- 41:05Speaker 1: social here. But listen, we're running out of time here.
- 41:08Speaker 1: We're getting close to Halloween. It is time right now
- 41:13Speaker 1: to make your plans for Halloween night with Mighty Mystic.
- 41:18Speaker 1: In Fairly at the Town Hall. Thank you, my man,
- 41:20Speaker 1: for coming on.
- 41:22Speaker 2: My pleasure. Thank you for having me. And much love,
- 41:24Speaker 2: Vermont friends. We'll see you guys Halloween night. In Fairly
- 41:28Speaker 2: at the Town Hall. Big, high-energy, recognized. Truly the mighty mystic.
- 41:35Speaker 2: It's always love. It's always family. I'll see y'all very soon.
- 41:38Speaker 2: Bless up.
- 41:38Speaker 1: All right.
- 41:39Speaker 2: Wow.
- 41:39Speaker 1: What a great guy. What an honor to have him
- 41:43Speaker 1: on the air this morning. So cool. So cool. And
- 41:47Speaker 1: keep watch because we're going to be blasting this, not
- 41:51Speaker 1: only into the microphone, but also on the Facebook page
- 41:57Speaker 1: and the Instagram page. One of the many events coming
- 42:03Speaker 1: in our community soon, which are big and some that
- 42:08Speaker 1: are really you shouldn't miss. A couple of other things
- 42:13Speaker 1: here on the community calendar. We got Brown Public Libraries
- 42:18Speaker 1: Bring a Book Hike in Northfield. That's going on 4.30
- 42:24Speaker 1: this afternoon. We have the Downtown Ramble from 5 to
- 42:29Speaker 1: 7 in Montpelier. Main Street Shops going to be open.
- 42:33Speaker 1: It's going to be a good time. You're going to
- 42:35Speaker 1: hear live music from the streets, Langdon Street specifically, but
- 42:39Speaker 1: it's going to be a good time. Get to Montpelier
- 42:42Speaker 1: if you can, 5 to 7 tonight. We got line dancing,
- 42:46Speaker 1: two-step line dancing at the Zen Barn tonight, 7 o'clock.
- 42:50Speaker 1: Talk about a venue that has incredible events and music
- 42:54Speaker 1: right there, Zen Barn. We got craft fairs and festivals
- 42:58Speaker 1: coming up this weekend. We're going to be promoting the
- 43:00Speaker 1: crap out of them, frankly, or at least trying to.
- 43:04Speaker 1: There's so many. St. Leo's Hall in Waterbury has got
- 43:08Speaker 1: the craft and treat event that's coming up on Saturday.
- 43:13Speaker 1: We got the Monster Bash trunk and treating at 802 Cars,
- 43:20Speaker 1: Berlin Mall Road, which is, of course, free from noon
- 43:24Speaker 1: to four on Saturday. It's going to be amazing. Lots
- 43:29Speaker 1: of different themed vehicles that are going to be there,
- 43:34Speaker 1: and the kids are going to be having a blast.
- 43:36Speaker 1: Food trucks, they're really blowing this thing up. It's going
- 43:39Speaker 1: to be great. 802 Cars, big props to you. The
- 43:46Speaker 1: Bowl Fest at Craft Studios in school in White River
- 43:51Speaker 1: Junction has got their big community meal with ceramic bowl making,
- 43:57Speaker 1: it looks like. 30 restaurants teaming up for this two seatings.
- 44:04Speaker 1: Noon to two is one of them. Um, and then, uh,
- 44:10Speaker 1: there's another one too. I can't remember what it is,
- 44:12Speaker 1: but man, uh, get on their page and have a
- 44:16Speaker 1: look at, uh, bowl fest at craft studios. I wanted
- 44:20Speaker 1: to go last year. It didn't happen. Maybe I will
- 44:24Speaker 1: this year. I don't know a lot going on Saturday. Uh,
- 44:28Speaker 1: Soggy Po' Boys, 8 p.m. in Waitsfield. These are all
- 44:35Speaker 1: Saturday events. Oh, the John Prine tribute at the Unitarian
- 44:42Speaker 1: Church of Montpelier is happening tomorrow. That's something that... I
- 44:50Speaker 1: think I read about in the world. I can't remember, honestly.
- 44:53Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure I did. And Battle of the Bands
- 44:55Speaker 1: at Harwood Union High School in Moortown is going to
- 44:58Speaker 1: be huge as well. The community calendar for November is crazy.
- 45:05Speaker 1: I'm looking at it right now. And, man, there's a
- 45:09Speaker 1: big thing going on just ahead of Veterans Day at
- 45:12Speaker 1: the Altrich Public Library, the Veterans Town Hall. I'm going
- 45:17Speaker 1: to be telling you about that. On November 7th, as
- 45:20Speaker 1: we get closer, I don't want to throw too much
- 45:22Speaker 1: at you because there's just, there's so much. Let's keep
- 45:27Speaker 1: it at this point in October.
- 45:32Speaker 2: Okay.
- 45:33Speaker 1: Today, again, Thursday, October 22nd, as you heard Emily McKenna
- 45:40Speaker 1: the other day, talking about from Central Vermont Home Health
- 45:43Speaker 1: and Hospice, talking about Dying Out to Make a Difference
- 45:46Speaker 1: for Central Vermont Home Health and Hospice. A couple of
- 45:49Speaker 1: restaurants participating. You go there any time today, whether it's breakfast, lunch,
- 45:53Speaker 1: or dinner. Enjoy a meal. You don't have to say anything.
- 45:57Speaker 1: You don't have to do anything. These restaurants are going
- 46:00Speaker 1: to donate back a percentage of their revenue that they
- 46:06Speaker 1: make today back to Central Vermont Home Health and Hospice
- 46:12Speaker 1: to support them. And I think that's wonderful. Here's the restaurants.
- 46:16Speaker 1: If you'd like to make some plans today. First off,
- 46:18Speaker 1: we have the Wayside in Berlin. Wide open. Serving breakfast, lunch,
- 46:23Speaker 1: and dinner.
- 46:24Speaker 2: Go.
- 46:25Speaker 1: Sarducci's. Montpelier. Have a great meal tonight. Know that a
- 46:30Speaker 1: portion of your meal sales is going to be going
- 46:34Speaker 1: back to Central Vermont Home Health and Hospice. Applebee's in Berlin.
- 46:39Speaker 1: Also participating as well as Black Back Pub in Waterbury.
- 46:44Speaker 1: Really cool. This is kind of their pilot year doing this.
- 46:53Speaker 1: So hopefully it'll be something that will take off and
- 46:57Speaker 1: continue to pick up momentum. I asked you this morning
- 47:04Speaker 1: on Facebook, and I know that we hung out and
- 47:09Speaker 1: talked a little bit about the potholes and property taxes
- 47:13Speaker 1: and other fun things that are in the news today
- 47:21Speaker 1: circulating around Berry City. Ah, and the budget for the
- 47:26Speaker 1: potholes going from $ 800, 000 up to a million dollars and
- 47:29Speaker 1: on course for $ 1. 6 million, which is going to raise
- 47:45Speaker 1: your taxes. But I asked this morning, the Facebook question
- 47:52Speaker 1: of the day, and it's on aired out right now.
- 47:59Speaker 1: What is that one local issue? That's gotcha. Is it
- 48:09Speaker 1: health insurance costs? Is it property taxes? Is it heating costs?
- 48:16Speaker 1: Is it the roads, infrastructure, your kids' school that you
- 48:23Speaker 1: feel is not getting enough attention? Maybe it is getting
- 48:33Speaker 1: enough attention, but nothing's getting done about it. Or something
- 48:39Speaker 1: that you feel is could be a little bit bigger
- 48:44Speaker 1: than Vermont, that Washington is not paying enough attention of.
- 48:57Speaker 1: I ask you that. It's on Facebook right now, the
- 49:00Speaker 1: Facebook question of the day. I'm off to visit yet
- 49:09Speaker 1: another country today. store. There's a lot. 20 in 20 days.
- 49:17Speaker 1: 20 Vermont country stores in 20 days. I hope you've
- 49:24Speaker 1: been following along the tour. Got up to the Northeast
- 49:30Speaker 1: Kingdom Country Store, which used to be called the Bailey's
- 49:35Speaker 1: Country Store. Bailey's Country Store up there in East Berk.
- 49:41Speaker 1: Such a beautiful place. Took you there yesterday. You walk
- 49:45Speaker 1: in and as I showed you, you look up and
- 49:47Speaker 1: just that mezzanine of Vermont products above your head and
- 49:54Speaker 1: that tongue and groove oak ceiling. These stores are so beautiful.
- 50:02Speaker 1: Pretty much all of them built in the late 1800s
- 50:06Speaker 1: and turn of the century. And they're still operating. And
- 50:11Speaker 1: they've adapted quite a bit to pizza restaurants, quite frankly, cafes, delis.
- 50:24Speaker 1: They're more than just country stores. But yet the one
- 50:29Speaker 1: commonality between all of them is that it's where our
- 50:34Speaker 1: public goes. It's where Vermonters go, sip their coffee, chew
- 50:38Speaker 1: the fat, sit down, talk with others, commune, connect. And
- 50:47Speaker 1: by God, I hope that we never lose our country stores,
- 50:55Speaker 1: our heritage here in Vermont when it comes to stuff
- 51:01Speaker 1: like that. I know there's other places to go. And
- 51:06Speaker 1: I know that you can get things that may be
- 51:10Speaker 1: a little less pricey. But if we lose our Vermont
- 51:17Speaker 1: country stores, we're in deep trouble. We're losing our history.
- 51:27Speaker 1: And some of them have closed. And one of the
- 51:30Speaker 1: stores that I am going to take you to is
- 51:34Speaker 1: one that has closed. And it is It is so sad.
- 51:40Speaker 1: Peach them. Every day, a new store and an opportunity
- 51:49Speaker 1: for you to come inside and see not only what
- 51:53Speaker 1: they sell, what their product line is, but also hear
- 51:58Speaker 1: from people directly. It has really been quite a privilege
- 52:04Speaker 1: to do this. I consider myself so blessed today. To
- 52:09Speaker 1: visit these stores. You cannot experience. What I've experienced. In
- 52:14Speaker 1: visiting these stores. In many other states.
- 52:18Speaker 2: So.
- 52:19Speaker 1: Come along with me. I'm going to take you to
- 52:21Speaker 1: a different store. Today at noon. Every day. Consecutively. A
- 52:27Speaker 1: different store. Every single day. Give a comment. Drop a comment.
- 52:34Speaker 1: Share it. Tell the store thank you. it's going to
- 52:41Speaker 1: be a great time. Another surprise story. No, I never
- 52:44Speaker 1: tell you in advance. I might give you a little
- 52:46Speaker 1: teaser of where I'm.
- 52:48Speaker 2: Going to go.
- 52:49Speaker 1: But I like you to be surprised around noon every
- 52:52Speaker 1: day when I take you there. And I'm going to
- 52:54Speaker 1: do it again today. Thanks for liking and following the page.
- 52:58Speaker 1: Thank you, Mighty Mystic, for connecting with us this morning
- 53:03Speaker 1: and giving us some feel-good and some hope. And Giving
- 53:08Speaker 1: us some incredible music to celebrate life to. Can't wait.
- 53:15Speaker 2: 31st.
- 53:17Speaker 1: Where it's going to be. Fairleigh Town Hall. Mighty Mystic
- 53:20Speaker 1: is coming back to Vermont. Be good to one another.
- 53:25Speaker 1: Take a deep breath. I know emotions are running high.
- 53:32Speaker 1: I know that... Especially if you saw the debate last
- 53:36Speaker 1: night or you're planning to watch the next one tonight.
- 53:41Speaker 1: With our governors.
- 53:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 53:55Speaker 1: But just try to, like I said, breathe through the nose.
- 54:02Speaker 1: Out through the mouth. And I know it's stressful. I
- 54:06Speaker 1: know it is. But just listen to yourself. Stay positive. Yes,
- 54:14Speaker 1: I see. Logan Luce has hopped on right at the end.
- 54:19Speaker 1: But he'll be with us today. Talking about week number seven.
- 54:24Speaker 1: Pats tonight. It's going to be great. Tune in. We
- 54:30Speaker 1: will see you very soon. Tomorrow, we're lighting this place
- 54:33Speaker 1: right up with G. It's going to be fun. We're
- 54:35Speaker 1: kicking off the weekend. And don't forget, again, right around
- 54:38Speaker 1: noon today, 20 stores in 20 days from Aired Out.
