- 0:13[SPEAKER_01]: So are you here or not here?
- 0:16[SPEAKER_01]: She's not here.
- 0:17[SPEAKER_01]: She does this to me just so that I have to like open the show.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I'm gonna open the show.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_01]: This is tea time with Robin.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_01]: She's tea, I'm Robin.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_01]: We're here to talk about the bills and maybe a few other things thrown in a long way.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_01]: But if she doesn't talk, and I have to talk to this whole show, y'all are gonna get really bored.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_00]: So, I'm not sure, oh, thank God, she's gone.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my God, yes, I don't know.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_00]: Let's just, you know, it's just that it's what it is.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_00]: It is what it is for sure.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_00]: Like Robin said, this is tea time with Robin.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_00]: We are here.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_00]: We are on the building Buffalo Network goal.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_00]: There's a checkout, some amazing content.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_00]: We got you covered, but today it's our day.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_00]: It's a Thursday and this will drop on a Friday as soon as you get to your, as soon as you wake up in the morning, we're there.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, but from right now we're here.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, Robin Robin, the defense finally showed up, sloppy game, a win as a win though.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_00]: So, 24 to 16 bills over the charges.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_00]: They are three and oh, I'll be ask you this.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_00]: When we first seen that schedule, I was like, I don't know, I don't know what's happening here.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't like how we how everything turned out to be scheduled to be.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_00]: Didn't like a heavy load in the front end of the schedule, but I did not think that we're going to be three and all right now.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_00]: Did you?
- 2:01[SPEAKER_00]: And what's up, Sandra?
- 2:02[SPEAKER_00]: How you doing?
- 2:04[SPEAKER_01]: Sandra?
- 2:05[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, Sandra.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_01]: I love you, but I'm going to say some things today.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_01]: That was some kind of ugly.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, worth me, you know, T. Ooh, man.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_01]: The first two games were right and high, right?
- 2:28[SPEAKER_01]: Thinking the, you know,
- 2:31[SPEAKER_01]: We're riding.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to ride this thing all the way through the season.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_00]: We know better Thomas.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_01]: Thomas.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_01]: Thomas.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_01]: So okay.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_01]: So we're riding high and I expected us to get slapped down at some point.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_01]: I wasn't really sure it would be the Chargers game that would do it.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_01]: But it did.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_01]: But we didn't get slept down, we slept ourselves down.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't know.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_01]: That was the thing about this game.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_01]: We did not deserve to win this game.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_01]: When it was 10 to 10, it had to have time.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_01]: T, I was losing my mind.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, how in the world did we beat?
- 3:14[SPEAKER_01]: How are we tied?
- 3:16[SPEAKER_01]: Like, how does that happen?
- 3:19[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I mean, when you come out the gate and you have a fumble, and I'm just like,
- 3:29[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I don't know what does anybody know or maybe you know Robin.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_00]: Did James Cook have a fumble and problem in college?
- 3:40[SPEAKER_01]: No, I don't, I don't recall that he did or he didn't.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_01]: But I have a new nickname for him.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_00]: Oh boy, what is it?
- 3:51[SPEAKER_01]: From this point forward until he gets a grip on the football, I teach y'all to be referred by me as Fumbalina.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_00]: Fumbalina.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_00]: Fumbalina.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_00]: Fumbalina is crazy Robin.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_01]: Fumbalina.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_01]: I can play.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_01]: Play up the game gives you Fumbalina.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_01]: That's your name.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_00]: Play it the game.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_01]: how dare he.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_01]: That was, I mean, right off the get go, right?
- 4:25[SPEAKER_00]: That happens and I'm like, oh, but you know, if it was someone else, he would have, he would have not been back in the game.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_00]: You know that.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_00]: So he's got to redeem himself, which is great because we needed it because he was running off.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't even realize how many yards he had until I went and watched, it got to
- 4:47[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_01]: It's, it was the quietest way you could run 150 yards that I've ever seen.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_00]: But I tell you what, every time he touched a ball, I was like, oh, I got it.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I got it.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, yeah, I was just, yeah, Josh didn't play well.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_00]: It was a lot of didn't do this.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_00]: Ah, just felt like the old, it felt like the old bills.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_01]: It did.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_01]: It was the good old bills.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_00]: in what five turnovers, you're not supposed to win this game.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_00]: You're not supposed to beat your half-time, your 10-10.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_01]: Think about it this way, from the San Diego, from the LA Charger's perspective, how bad do you have to be?
- 5:41[SPEAKER_01]: To lose a game, to a team that turned the ball over five times.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_00]: And did you see this?
- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if you've seen this.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I just don't like this guy.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_00]: This Mike McDaniels, did you see that he had a bat?
- 5:56[SPEAKER_00]: He had a work?
- 5:57[SPEAKER_00]: He had a bat coming out of the bus.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_00]: He had a bat.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_00]: Like this is the bat.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, a bat.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_00]: This is the same dude that walked around the stadium or walked around the training, whatever, and said it's not too cold or something you said, but to sure.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_00]: It's the same team who also did this for Josh.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_00]: Like this is the same, this guy is, let's do.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_00]: If you don't know how to just bow, bow, out, Josh Allen has your number.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my God.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_01]: Now, here's the thing about Mike McDaniels, and I will say this about the game because it occurred to me and other people had talked about this as well.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_01]: You know, that's a match made in hell, and I don't know how you fix that.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_01]: You know, because he's a system's coach.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_01]: He has a system's scheme.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_01]: He would be terrific with Tom Brady, a guy like that.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_01]: Tua flourished under him because of his system.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_01]: Justin Herbert is not Tua.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_01]: Justin, it looks like Josh Allen.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_01]: And so you have to see.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_01]: to the talent of your quarterback, your player.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't even look like the same quarterback.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, Ed is going, V-V-V-V-V-V. Also, too, I think that's John Harble, right?
- 7:39[SPEAKER_00]: Not Jim.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_00]: Is that John?
- 7:41[SPEAKER_00]: Or is that Jim?
- 7:42[SPEAKER_01]: I always think he is.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_01]: He's just a giant's coach at Jim.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_00]: OK, Jim.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_00]: So Jim has never lost.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_00]: You know, he's college.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_00]: He's has a winning organization, a warne program.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_00]: When he was in, what the 49ers, winning program over there.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_00]: So I know he's like, what the hell?
- 8:04[SPEAKER_00]: I guess he came out in the presser and asked him, he came out on the presser and they asked him what's going on.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_00]: He's kind of pointed at the quarterback.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_00]: You guys have to get it to say.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_01]: But this is the thinking, it's the quarterbacks fault that his traits don't match the scheme.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_01]: Whose fault is that?
- 8:31[SPEAKER_00]: And not that I feel bad for him, right?
- 8:34[SPEAKER_00]: I don't feel bad for him.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_00]: But I kind of feel like, and this is me always looking and taking and saying, oh, that's me, I hate that sometimes about me.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I know, but, you know, he's had so many different office coordinators, OCs, and it's just, I just don't think it's like this.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_01]: This is a match made in hell.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_01]: What's that hell was her boss thinking?
- 9:01[SPEAKER_01]: He knew he knew what kind of quarterback he had.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_01]: And he knew what that assistant McDaniels played.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: And this is the guy they said they wanted in Buffalo.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_00]: No, this is the thing that they said, oh, he was supposed to get the Buffalo bills at coaching job.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: You're right.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think so.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think so.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_00]: He wouldn't have left.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_01]: This is a complete failure by the charges in terms of having the wherewithal to realize you cannot fit a square peg into a round hole.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_01]: You have to build the system around the quarterback
- 9:37[SPEAKER_01]: Your quarterback is everything in this game.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_01]: And if you're hamstringing literally your quarterback by forcing him to play in a system that doesn't suit him, of course he's gonna look like dogdo.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_00]: And he has to look like dogdo.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_01]: So that's what I have to say about that.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_00]: But also two are online and play well.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_00]: The Texans game last year.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_00]: This might be my have been one of the worst.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_00]: Dion Dawkins got beat.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_00]: This is the first time I've seen Anderson look like he was a rookie and he's not a rookie but he looked like a rookie.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_00]: Like his head was spinning.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_01]: Right, which made it more difficult for Dion.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_01]: I will say, I just gotta say one high five to one offensive lineman.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_01]: I'll do it.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_01]: Really do it.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_01]: Spencer Brown, yes, played in self-a game.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_01]: Thank God for that because if we didn't have that, cook wouldn't have been able to run like a road runner.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_01]: He was running all over everything.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_01]: And thank you Spencer, but you're right, the line looked out of sorts.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_01]: And it probably did start in all honesty with Alec Anderson.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_01]: If he, if your Ted's not there, then he can't communicate effectively to Dion, then that's gonna mess Dion up.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_00]: Well, they spend, spend Josh up.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_00]: Josh, footwork was bad.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_00]: He looked like Josh looked like he was uneasy in a pocket.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_00]: And I'll give credit, listen, I got to give credit and kudos to freaking the charges for that.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_00]: Got to give him the kudos.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_00]: They contained Josh.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_00]: So it was, yeah, so we'll talk about it.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_00]: We'll talk about it.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_00]: Because I've never seen Josh.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_00]: on Josh was not himself.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_01]: No, and then, and on top of it, he was, he was not himself.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_01]: He had a clear shot to run a touchdown in, and he didn't, and we have to wonder why.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_01]: There were so many instances in the game where Josh was clearly not.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_01]: He wasn't seeing the field properly.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_01]: He wasn't assessing things properly.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he just was his whole entire game was off.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, it was off.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_00]: It was way off.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_00]: And again, I got to give it.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_00]: I got to give it to them because way they that they contain Josh.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't put them.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_00]: I was still a pot.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_00]: I can't remember what pot I was listening to.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_00]: But it explained it to me because I was like, he's being contained and very, very well, it's not like a bubble.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_00]: It was like a you.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_00]: They like force a you around them.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_00]: Right, go in any direction and the offensive line wasn't protecting him enough to give him any time to stop up because soon as he stopped up someone was an Alec Anderson thank you by someone as soon as he stepped up that guy was writing his face it was just it was that it wasn't a pretty game at all well these are the games though Robin these are the games that you want to see your guys come out on top
- 13:04[SPEAKER_00]: right, you want to see them go through some things to the game and say, okay, hey, we might be down right now.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_00]: But we're dead, we're still in it.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_00]: I'm telling you, Fumbalina and the turnovers, it was ugly.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_00]: It was ugly.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_00]: Well, let's turn the page because you know who helped up, you know who finally stepped up.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_00]: with defense.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_00]: They did.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_00]: Oliver said, you know, sometimes we have to bail them out.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm then not verbatim what he said, but I love what he said.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_00]: Because sometimes you do need the other team, the other side of the ball to bail you out.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_00]: And that was the defense.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_01]: Grute, two more sets.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_01]: I cannot say anything other than, oh my, when I think about how here's an example, Sean McDermott would not let group be group.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_01]: Sean McDermott would not let group be group.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_01]: He wouldn't let him play on the side that he was better at, and you get, again, it's a coach
- 14:27[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_00]: I don't understand that, though, Robin.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_00]: When you have a person that you know can ball out for you, and he can be the best version of himself.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_00]: When you're skiing, man, watch him.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_00]: The man's not in the dirt, don't worry.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_00]: Pick the hand up.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_00]: And then, I mean, yeah, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean I mean
- 14:47[SPEAKER_01]: It's too stark a comparison between the way that he was forced to play before and the way that he is playing now, free, but let's also give one more person credit for this.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_01]: because none of this would be happening if it wasn't for Deon Walker.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_01]: You think that was coming?
- 15:10[SPEAKER_01]: I know it was coming.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_01]: I knew it was last five years.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_01]: I have done nothing but bitch constantly about having a Deon Walker on our team.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_00]: And you're after year after year, being refused to draft one,
- 15:26[SPEAKER_01]: Right, he picks Jordan Phillips, you know, he takes all these aging veterans and tries to throw them into a position where you need the youth.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_01]: You need the youth.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_00]: So let me ask you, do you think that was a, and we're going to do it.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_00]: So what do you think it was a more of a Sean or Brandon?
- 15:46[SPEAKER_01]: Who knows, I don't know what.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I will say this.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think Brandon's very good at drafting defensive linemen as a whole.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_01]: That's not his forte.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_01]: But he drafted Josh Allen.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_01]: So that overcomes a lot of others.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_01]: You can pass for years.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_01]: You're right in terms of,
- 16:11[SPEAKER_01]: If Bean has another whole layer to think about, like, okay, if I draft this guy, is Sean actually going to use him.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, what about what's his face?
- 16:25[SPEAKER_01]: Poo bear that sat on the bench.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_01]: What the hell was his name?
- 16:31[SPEAKER_01]: Poo bear.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, um, Oh, I can't think it was a name.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_01]: The defensive lineman that never got, I mean, he was always inactive every game.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think he, I think he played one game.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_01]: And my friends, it was like fried today, sorry folks.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you know I can't be so late.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_01]: You give my point yes, so yes, the defense showed up big time and the on walker was a huge part of that.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_01]: And we have to do the same thing with the on walker that we did with Josh Allen in terms of look people appreciate what you're looking at because this is a.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_01]: and all pro, right before your eyes, you're watching Dion Walker mold himself into an all pro.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_01]: Dude, did you see that play where he just bang off the guard?
- 17:40[SPEAKER_01]: Bang off the center, boom.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_00]: I do love how he sets himself up.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_00]: I do love that.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_00]: Like he, I think it was brand in book, wasn't it?
- 17:53[SPEAKER_00]: Bowinger, bow, he does the breakdowns.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_00]: Bowdinger, something like that.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_00]: Balldinger.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, thank you, him.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_00]: He breaks the, he did it with, with Dion.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_00]: And I was just like, wow, he is dancing there.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_01]: He is a dancing bear.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_01]: That's exactly what he is.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_01]: And his physical ability is mind blowing.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, when you watch him for how big he is.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he just freaks people out.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's tossing these offense in my mental side like they're, you know, defense tossing one guy.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_00]: He tossed the one guy.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_00]: He did a the sw- the sw- arm swing or whatever, swill swill swill swill.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_00]: It just knocked him down and went straight at her.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_00]: I was I was like, okay, you know what and now so Russo had to get praise.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_00]: He said,
- 18:48[SPEAKER_00]: He was talking to Jim and he was like, he said in a new scheme under Jim, the impact of the unwalker allows me to do different things.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_00]: So he knows what's going on.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_00]: I love the fact that also two, a guy that was going to be in our opinion, just our opinion, he was probably gonna be off this team and it's making an impact car listing.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_00]: Dwayne Carter is playing like I think the way he can lose, I think the way he can lose like 10 pounds.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_00]: I feel good, but I do like the way he's moving.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not gonna lie.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_01]: Holy moly, and I was so far off base with him because I thought, you know what, he shouldn't even make the team, you know, put him on the practice squad.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_00]: Right, you know, you can't put him on the practice squad cause he's a number one NFL run stopper.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_01]: The way you caught her, I am so stupid because seriously, I, I, I, I wanted to just toss him aside.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_01]: And I should fit more patient because Jim Leonard is a gift for knowing how to use people.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_01]: He saw early on.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_01]: what he needed from Dwayne Carter, and told him, listen to like right after he was hired, like we wanna turn you into a nose tackle, you need to gain 20 pounds.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_01]: If you wanna make the team, this is your pathway to make it.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_01]: And I thought to myself, oh, here we go with AJP and NASA again.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_01]: We're gonna change somebody's body frame and it's not gonna work.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_00]: Whoops, he looks great.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_00]: He does, he looks really good, he really does.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_00]: Um, let's keep this going.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_00]: Another person that I Robin and I talked about was Dorian Williams.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, my my I went back and looked at the L 22 because Joe Biscale, it was talking about him as well.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_01]: And said that he was like, wow, he is like, light.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_01]: He popped out.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_01]: Then he popped out.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_01]: He popped out.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_01]: He really popped out.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_01]: And Dorian's always been a terrific tackler, good against the run, but he was not instinctive in coverage.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_01]: And now we're seeing him, I think he's taken that part of his game to another level.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_01]: And it's so refreshing to see, in fact, it's so refreshing, I'm wondering what happens when we have,
- 21:29[SPEAKER_01]: Mr. Caleb Elarm's or playing more.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_01]: I haven't really been overly impressed with what I've seen from Terrell Bernard.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_00]: I, and it's a me or it is, but also, they work well together.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_00]: They do.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_00]: So, I get it.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_00]: I do get it.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_00]: Again, I'm holding off my criticism
- 21:59[SPEAKER_00]: week, and I said week four, week four, five, six.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_00]: They're starting like this third this game last week, got had me go, okay.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_00]: Now, if you play well against the Patriots, I'm like all right, all right, because the Patriots, I mean, they're in a little slumber right now, but
- 22:20[SPEAKER_00]: my defense need to come out and pounce and let them know that you're still down here and it was an accident of last year.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_00]: So I need them to do that.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, I'm going to start definitely looking at this defense now and saying, okay, guys, it's week four.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_00]: Like where we at, like a lot of y'all didn't play together in the preseason or training camp.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_00]: When you guys were injured, you know, we're going to talk about it.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_00]: But two more players
- 22:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, defense, can we bring up two more?
- 22:52[SPEAKER_00]: Sure.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_01]: CJ Gardner, Johnson.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, baby.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_00]: Same back game.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_01]: That was the turning point in the game.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_01]: That was had to.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_00]: He had to, exactly.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_00]: And that, oh, I hated, and when you go back and watch it, it was a hold.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_00]: And you didn't need to, you didn't need to hold.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_01]: didn't need to do it.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_01]: But the timing on the intersection that he did get accounted, the timing on it, it was like, oh my god, that was the route, yeah.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_00]: And that's a veteran safety, seeing something.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_00]: You're okay.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_00]: So I want to say, you said you was hot, you were listening to Pascal, Joe, Pascal, you,
- 23:50[SPEAKER_00]: and he had said that the bills had picked up on the Chargers tendencies and they had to change them because the bills got hold of it.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yep.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's fascinating.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_00]: It is.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, so they had to, the bills had to, the Chargers had to change out their tendencies because the
- 24:14[SPEAKER_00]: And so now the bills are now straddling and saying, OK, they're changing them up.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_00]: Now we'll be doing so that's when you can see.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_00]: And I love that because now that's when you're defensive coordinator, you're your head coach.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_00]: Now trying to figure out, now we got changed this up because they got it.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_00]: Then they're on to us now.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_00]: So that game was a chess match.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_01]: It kind of was a chess match.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_01]: And it's interesting that you had
- 24:42[SPEAKER_01]: a chess match between a rookie head coach and a very, very veteran head coach and the rookie head coach kept kept up with him pretty good.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_01]: The last guy I want to bring up just is a is a high five IGB.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, there should be any might have to play.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_00]: He might have to play this week too.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's okay.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_01]: I'm ready for him to play.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_00]: Are you?
- 25:05[SPEAKER_00]: I'm ready for
- 25:12[SPEAKER_00]: Can you turn your head, sir?
- 25:14[SPEAKER_00]: You can have more pics if you just turn your head.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_00]: Just, just do me a favor, go like this, just turn your head.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_00]: That's it, you, you're right, T, right, T, you're gonna have D-um.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_00]: Day in Jackson, day in Jackson never turned his head.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I hadn't thought about it, but you're right.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_00]: You're looking for a good head, bro.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_00]: I know I know he's a rookie, you know, I understand it, but I love the fire in him, but also he's a little handsy, I need him and not to be so handsy, I'll be so handsy.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_00]: But I can't see that Ohio State thing.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_00]: It is, that's what everybody says, Ohio State.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_00]: They can get away with it, I guess.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_00]: I know what they do.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_00]: Where's he?
- 26:11[SPEAKER_00]: Help some fire.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it was a lot of smoke.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot of smoke definitely a lot of smoke.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_00]: But let's get into Josh Allen and why didn't he run?
- 26:22[SPEAKER_01]: There's a there was a lot of stone that touched down that he was he had a clear sight to the end zone and did not run.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_01]: So he always I mean he's swimming is that he's hurt.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he always do DJ um DJ and
- 26:40[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I think he was trying to get TJ more attached down.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think he was, too.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_01]: He's, he's, he needs to stop doing that.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_01]: because just score.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_00]: And I know you want to get your number one guy involved early in often.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_00]: I get it.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_00]: I so get it.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_00]: But also too, when you see that the game plan had changed up because the way they were playing DJ Moore and the way in the way that the charges were so aggressive, they had nothing to lose.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_00]: Like we're going to go down either three, zero, three are we going to be
- 27:16[SPEAKER_00]: the way that they were attacking our white receivers, the way that they oh my god they blew up, caked in the middle.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_00]: Josh never threw that ball but you know it is what it is.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_00]: It was like a medicine ball.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_00]: Josh why are you putting your guy out there like that?
- 27:30[SPEAKER_00]: Come on bro.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_00]: Like I said everything was off with him including his decision making.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, right.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_01]: You know, yes, like he was not there and I don't know what what was up with that.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_01]: As far as injury, we know Josh plays injured.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_01]: he gets nicked up.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_01]: That's, that's just how he is.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not making a big deal out of everybody was ready to, you know, have him out for the season or whatever the way it was limping around.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't think it was that serious.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_01]: And it's kind of just the way Josh is.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_01]: If, you know, he gets decked.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_01]: He gets dinged up.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to stand up and he's going to walk.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_01]: He's, he's not, I know.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, because we did see the replay, you know, from the whatever and all of that,
- 28:26[SPEAKER_00]: Here's the thing, I'm not a doctor, nor do I play one on social media.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_00]: And I know there's a lot of doctors on social media.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_00]: I just don't want to say something is what it is if I'm not a doctor.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_00]: I get there's guys out there that get paid for this, but I rather not do it.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_00]: I mean,
- 28:49[SPEAKER_00]: We you know how fans are we can't we can't handle the fact and what I don't want I can't handle it like Josh, I have the best we can see how I'm like what did I want to see that I know it's like calm down everybody just I don't want to play doctor.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_00]: But next up.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_00]: We have our divisional friends.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_00]: My friends are foe, the Patriots.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, what a shitty joke going on over there.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_00]: And I love every minute of it to be quite honest.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_00]: I love every minute of it.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_00]: Oh.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_00]: The Patriots are coming in on a rough loss, like a rough one.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_00]: Like rough.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_00]: You thought ours was rough?
- 29:37[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, the Jaguars.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_01]: They manned up with both.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it is.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_00]: 31, 2, 6, they didn't score a touchdown.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so the Patriot, they're trying to get everyone in column.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_01]: That many times did they turn to fall over.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_00]: Well, Drake may turn it over what two times, at least.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_00]: I think, and he leads the NFL and interceptions with six.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, group, and how much time?
- 30:11[SPEAKER_00]: Look at group.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, yeah.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_00]: We know there's some, I don't even know where to start with this team, because there's a lot going on over there.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's a mess.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_01]: It's a mess.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_01]: It's a mess, right?
- 30:27[SPEAKER_01]: From there.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_00]: They're going, they're going shoulder gate now.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_00]: Did you hear that one?
- 30:31[SPEAKER_00]: Show it a gate?
- 30:32[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_01]: So show it because it's his shoulder.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_01]: That's that's limiting him.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, straight man.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's a bag of horse manure because
- 30:44[SPEAKER_00]: If you, that's your out, that's your out.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_00]: If he has a bad season, that's his out.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_00]: So then here's another one.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_00]: So, because I'm gonna listen to it.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_00]: So they're saying that Drake may, in my label, have, are not seeing eye to eye.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_00]: They're beefing.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_01]: Ooh, I didn't hear that one.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_01]: So love that as well.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_00]: What are you here, Robbie?
- 31:17[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't hear that one, and that's kind of interesting, but I consumed as much as I could this week, as much as I could stomach.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, everything that I could find from Mike Rabel this week.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_01]: because I wanted to put my little psychology hat on and have a look see at what I'm seeing inside of him.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_01]: Because his words do this, but he looks like a man who's under a tremendous amount of strain, and a lot of it has to do with his personal life.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that
- 31:59[SPEAKER_01]: You don't just gloss over something like that in a long-term marriage and move on.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_01]: So I can't imagine that things at home are all too thrilling.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_01]: But he's doing his best to make it look like everything's hunky dory.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_01]: That and itself is a distraction.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_01]: And Drake may,
- 32:30[SPEAKER_01]: making you feel intimidated.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe that's the word that I would use.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_01]: And that's not really the best psychological approach with a quarterback.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, especially a young quarterback who's just kind of finding his way.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_01]: He's definitely struggling.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_01]: Definitely.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you went from
- 32:59[SPEAKER_01]: So you can't tell me that there isn't something going on up here, like a major part of it.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_01]: And what's causing that?
- 33:10[SPEAKER_01]: Trust me when I tell you I'm not complaining.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_01]: Drake may can go right into the ground for all I care.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_01]: But as far as watching somebody's talent
- 33:27[SPEAKER_01]: And you could almost see it's starting to happen last year.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and the playoffs in the playoffs, but even before the playoffs, you could see this gradual change in him that it seemed like he was playing like he was under more and more pressure.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_01]: So it does not surprise me what you're saying about the relationship between him and Vrable may not be hunky dory.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_01]: And that is an important relationship.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_01]: Now, just take a moment and compare that to Joe Brady.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_01]: Who's had this long-term relationship with Josh, who's always been in Josh's corner, who will always be in Josh's corner.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_01]: Josh doesn't have to worry about the head coach going wacko on him.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't have to worry about that relationship is intact,
- 34:25[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, and that's deadly for a young quarterbacks development because this is the third year.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, but it's a critical year.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_01]: His first year, he played like a rookie in the team with terrible.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, that's what it was.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_01]: Three and 13, they were, you know, they were a terrible teen.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_01]: Whatever it was, the record was.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was like something like that.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_01]: So then they turn everything around with the easiest schedule known to man.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_00]: And...
- 35:01[SPEAKER_01]: everything seemed to come to him and you think, oh, so I can play in this league and it is really easy.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_01]: And all I have to do is do blah, blah, blah.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_01]: Well, as the season went on, teams adjusted to drink me and his play just kind of went downhill and then he hit the playoffs and it wasn't pretty.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I just think that it was a Josh, like it's any quarterback is like once you get your rhythm once you are that that and this is why I think that they don't have the patience anymore for rookie quarterbacks because they're they're saying now they're going to come off of cam cam board and and Tyson at the Tyson's
- 35:53[SPEAKER_00]: with the Tyson sorry.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_00]: So I like it just don't have patients for quarterbacks.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_00]: And I think it's just crazy a development of a quarterback.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_00]: You can't go off of them for two years or even three years.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_00]: I know you want to win and you want to winning organization, but you also need also needs to be developed.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_01]: And I just think.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_00]: Just investment, right?
- 36:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_01]: For the back is your biggest investment.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_01]: So you have to do that when right.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_01]: You can't screw it up.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_01]: If you screw up their development and it gets in their head, they don't turn around.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_00]: Rarely.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_00]: And it's a crucial, a crucial moment.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, this is a crucial year for Drake May.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_00]: It is.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_01]: And if he's feeling that more and more and apparently, and it wouldn't surprise me, if I'm sure you're right, there has to be some sort of difficulty in the relationship with
- 36:59[SPEAKER_00]: to say, you could cause to be nice with the words.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_01]: He's not a nice man.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_01]: Organ bags need.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_00]: Stroke, it's fine.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_00]: They need to be stroked a little bit, pause.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_00]: They need to be taken care of.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_00]: They need to be taken care of.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_00]: They need to be taken care of.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_00]: They need to be taken care of.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_00]: They need to be taken care of.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_00]: They need to be taken care of.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_00]: They need to be taken care of.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_00]: They need to be taken care of.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_00]: They need to be taken care of.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_00]: They need to be taken care of.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_00]: They need to be taken care of.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_00]: They need to be taken care of.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_00]: They need to be taken care of.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_00]: They need to be taken care of.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_00]: They need to be taken care of.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_01]: They need to be taken care of.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_01]: They need to be taken care of.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_01]: They need to be taken care of.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_01]: They need to be taken care of.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_00]: They need to be taken care of.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_01]: They need to be taken care of.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_01]: They need to be taken care of.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_01]: They need to be taken care of.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_01]: They need to be taken care of.
- 37:31[UNKNOWN]: They need to be
- 37:31[SPEAKER_01]: If you have a good work in relationship between the head coach and in a developing quarterback, and you have somebody like that has the personality of a of a cactus, like Brable does, it's it's a recipe for disaster and we're watching it and I'm I'm here for it.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_00]: I'm when I just think I think I just think it's it's so funny is so you you fire the
- 38:02[SPEAKER_00]: You had Macaroni and cheese over there.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_00]: You got rid of him.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_00]: You bring back Josh McDaniels because it didn't work, but let's bring them back.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_00]: You bring back an X player because you're fired the guy because you really wanted that guy who got fired from Tennessee.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, let's go get the guy that used to play for us.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_00]: Everything is this weird, kind of shitty and weird because
- 38:29[SPEAKER_00]: what happened was you went to the Super Bowl and I'm not saying you weren't supposed to be there.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_00]: You got there.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_00]: You won, you got there.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_00]: Regardless of how you got there, you got there.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_00]: So the expectations for this team is out the roof and maybe you're not prepared or ready for it.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's right on.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's right on.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_00]: So let's go to our winning points right now because we got a lot of things to talk about.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_00]: All right, are you off talking?
- 39:20[SPEAKER_00]: I'm here, but I think I will be cut off.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_00]: I think so.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_00]: You think you got to be cut off?
- 39:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because it's, well, there she goes.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_01]: She's being cut off.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_01]: Well, good, because then I can say what I'm going to say first.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_01]: And she isn't going to be able to say word one about it.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_01]: What are we gonna do to win this game against the Patriots?
- 39:40[SPEAKER_01]: One of the most important things I think is going to be going after Drake May, right from the get go, let him have full throttle, Dion Walker.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_01]: In his face, early and often.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_01]: Get him off his game right from the start.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_01]: You don't want him to even get a glimmer of hope that he's going to be able to do anything against the bills.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_01]: So I say, come out with your guns blazing.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_01]: And you do?
- 40:11[SPEAKER_01]: I like that.
- 40:13[SPEAKER_00]: Because I think we need to make him feel.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_00]: Because if he's Jimmie, Jimmie back there already,
- 40:22[SPEAKER_00]: We've got to get into this.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_00]: It's not even that.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_00]: The online, their online is, it's, it's, it's banged up.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_00]: Their online is banged up, just like the job you're doing.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_01]: The job you're doing is walk or run act.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_01]: I hope he lands right on top of Drake May.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm several times.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, and I don't even know who they're back of quarterback.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_00]: I just don't matter.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_00]: But for my winning points for the Buffalo Bills against the Patriots at one o'clock at high mark, another home game.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_00]: The bills have to clean up their terminal turnovers.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_00]: They have to.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_00]: They have to.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_00]: You can't do another game like you did with the charges.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_00]: You're not going to win.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_00]: You're not.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_00]: And I think this defense, the back end of this defense is really good.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they, they, they end.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_00]: some of their defense, well right now, Wednesdays, Wednesdays, injury report, I really don't take a look at until Thursday.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_00]: Because Wednesday, you can have a limited, but Thursday Friday is when I start really looking at what's going on.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_00]: What else does that say?
- 41:32[SPEAKER_00]: Josh has to play better.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_00]: He cannot be big ball, big game hunting.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_01]: That last guy's been doing that again this year.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_01]: He's just got to stop it.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_01]: That is one of his character flaws, if you will, in terms of if he's flawed as a quarterback anywhere, it's there.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_00]: It's because he gets down.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_00]: The team is down in Josh, like I gotta put him on my back and do everything.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_00]: No, you don't.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_00]: Actually, you actually got some guys.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_00]: run the ball.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_00]: You got to got to run the ball.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_00]: He ran a hundred and fifty four yards.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_00]: He's run the ball.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_00]: Pretty good.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_00]: And you know what I made it the most about this game is that they didn't allow them to play.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_00]: Like it seemed like every time the bills ran the ball, holiday, holiday,
- 42:34[SPEAKER_00]: Come on, what the pill is he's guys.
- 42:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, some things.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_00]: Some of it was on them for sure, but some of it was unnecessary.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_01]: Engle.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_00]: It was hard.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_01]: It was hard.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_01]: It was hard enough to watch with the turnovers and everything else.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_01]: Let alone the penalties.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_00]: That's how John's and Ron,
- 43:02[SPEAKER_00]: And then there was like holding and I'm like you didn't have to do that you didn't have to do that guy He was he was right there.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_00]: You didn't have to And there's so happy talking Johnson is back.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_00]: I'm so happy.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I need him.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, definitely
- 43:21[SPEAKER_01]: Thomas is saying, I don't think Christian Gonzalez is playing.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think he is either.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they said something about a shoulder.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_00]: I'm telling you, show we get you over there.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_00]: His shoulder is well.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_01]: That's your blame the shoulder.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that pillion group was bull crap, too, because what are you supposed to do there?
- 43:39[SPEAKER_00]: He couldn't stop his momentum.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_00]: And he didn't hold them.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_00]: Like he actually put his arms out.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_00]: That's why I'm like, you guys are, this is wicked.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_00]: This is, but the one on chops, he deserved it.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_00]: Chops, what are you doing?
- 43:55[SPEAKER_00]: You have to be.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_00]: What are you doing?
- 43:57[SPEAKER_00]: My guy.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_01]: What was that?
- 43:59[SPEAKER_00]: I know you want to get your leg back.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_00]: Eddie did get his leg back because of the interception.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_00]: He was standing there and he pushed him.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_00]: I personally, I don't like that.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_00]: I because I don't push the quarterbacks.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I mean, just leave me.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you're on my team, so it is what it is, but yeah.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I just play football.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_00]: Um, we're going to do the check in, but I'm not going to do music.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_00]: So Robin is Robin's Yeah, I'm doing music because then you're doing that.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_00]: So Robin, take it off with the check.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_01]: So I have to make a confession before I get into this.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_01]: This is going to be me being the world's largest hypocrite.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_01]: So let me just start by saying, I'm going to be the world's largest hypocrite when I talk about those.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_01]: All the things, I read some things this week that apply so much to caregivers and people going through a lot of stress.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's important for us to connect with other people, right?
- 45:09[SPEAKER_01]: It's really easy, especially in this day and age, to isolate ourselves because we have our computer, we have social media, we have all this other stuff that we can entertain ourselves with.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_01]: I read a statistic that I found very surprising in the last 10 years, just in the last 10 years,
- 45:36[SPEAKER_01]: bringing friends in for dinner, socializing with dinner at each other's homes.
- 45:43[SPEAKER_01]: That's sort of thing.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_01]: Is down 70%.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my God.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_01]: In the last period.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_01]: I'm serious.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_01]: I saw that and I had to go look some more.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_01]: No, I can tell the number.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_01]: Some of that may be, you know, pandemic related, because we couldn't really do that very much.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_01]: But you would think that when the pandemic was over, that there would be literally a huge bounce back, right?
- 46:17[SPEAKER_01]: It didn't happen.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_01]: People are not connecting with each other anymore.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_01]: And it may be a little different.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_01]: We may be somewhat skewed as Bill's fans because we have, you know, this is like a time-honored tradition for us to entertain with each other.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_01]: Bill's mafia, that sort of thing.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_01]: But I was disturbed by that because it says to me that we're becoming increasingly, and there's other data that supports this, that we're becoming increasingly isolated from one another, disconnected from one another.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it shows up in our politics.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_01]: I think it shows up in a lot of different ways.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_01]: But the message that I want to give is just try to connect with someone.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_01]: Just somebody, if you're holding the door when you go to the store and allow someone to come in and make eye contact and say hello.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_01]: That just connection with another human being is something that we're losing right now.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_01]: People don't even go to the grocery store anymore.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_01]: They drive and pick it up.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_01]: Somebody comes and puts the bags in the back of their car.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_01]: So we're increasingly becoming socially isolated.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_01]: And that's not good for our mental health.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_01]: And I say that as the biggest hypocrite in the universe
- 47:49[SPEAKER_01]: I am the world's largest introvert next to Ted Kozinski, the Unibommer.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_01]: So, okay, all right, I'm right up with the Unibommer in terms of being not a social person.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_00]: But you're not the Unibommer, but socially, socially, I'm with you too, because I do not, socially,
- 48:13[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know about being socially awkward.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_00]: I can't be, I'm very, I'm a very introvert, I'm very introvert.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm with you too because we don't go to the grocery store anymore.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_00]: We have our stuff delivered to our house.
- 48:28[SPEAKER_00]: And like, COVID before COVID, we were always in the kids and we would go.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_00]: And also, I think it also has to do with COVID.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_00]: Plus, I don't trust people.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, because if you go to Walmart and if you know what I'm talking about, and if you go to Target, you know what I'm talking about, if you go to these stories, people are just, they're in little, you know, little multi.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_00]: And I, all my kids in one spot with me and something happens.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_00]: So you have to think about that now.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we pick and choose what we do and where we go and who's going and what kids are going, what kids don't.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_00]: That's just,
- 49:04[SPEAKER_00]: what we do because I people, I have anxiety, I have anxiety right now, my kids are in school.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_00]: You know, so I have to trust and believe that everybody is okay, yes, for sure, because I can't do nothing else, but just, you know, praying and help my kids come home when they leave, they're protected.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's all best.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, my gosh, basically is just that even though we're skewing ourselves way toward being more isolated, just try when you can to make that human connection, because it's very, it's very important for our well being mentally, not meant to be.
- 49:49[SPEAKER_01]: completely isolated creatures, except for me.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 49:54[SPEAKER_00]: And a, like John said, like and share, so you don't be isolated.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_00]: So you can go.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_00]: Here you go.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so you can connect with us.
