Latest / Brandon Fogal Evolution / #263 - Is Tucker Carlson Right About the West Failing?
Transcript
- 0:00So did Tucker Carlson get himself into some more hot water?
- 0:03What he recently said, or what has just come out is he very,
- 0:07he very much sympathizes with Sharia law says the, the West is in decline.
- 0:13And it sounds like he would almost want us to be under Sharia law.
- 0:17I we're going to break down the comments that he said. I'm going to give my
- 0:21analysis. I want to hear what you think because it is complicated.
- 0:25It is very complicated. I am going to get very nuanced in this video.
- 0:29So let's just break it down. And I've set it up so hopefully the sound comes through better.
- 0:34I added a couple of extensions, so hopefully it's not too loud. I bumped it up.
- 0:38We're just going to see. Sometimes I don't hear it. As you can see,
- 0:40I don't got headphones on.
- 0:43But we're a work in progress. Here we go. Let's hear what Tucker had to say.
- 0:46I travel so much that I see it.
- 0:48There's not a single Western city that's thriving, and they're all degrading in exactly the same way.
- 0:54Is a lot of it just a moral decay, or is it actually true from everything?
- 0:57It's a lot of things, but it's self-hatred.
- 0:59Every city, every European city, every American city, it's just white.
- 1:02People lose their will to live, their will to pass on their culture,
- 1:05their values, their religion to their children, their will to have children. It's all gone.
- 1:09I mean, it's not gone with everybody, but I mean, in the cities, you really see it.
- 1:12It's like, the people who built this are long gone and their descendants have
- 1:15fled and they don't care enough to keep it going.
- 1:18There's just a lack of self-respect that is disgusting to me and I have contempt
- 1:22for it. I don't, it doesn't bother me to be hated.
- 1:24What really bothers me is when people hate themselves if you
- 1:27hate yourself yeah how are you going to treat me that's correct
- 1:30oh man i don't like it so you and you i've noticed it because
- 1:34i travel outside the western world the white world i'm just be honest the white
- 1:37world right travel a lot in the middle east we're going to bounce in and out
- 1:41of this so that is very because tucker has traveled a lot he there's so much
- 1:46mystery to this man but he has went outside of the united states a lot he's been to the Gulf region.
- 1:53He knows what it's like to be in European countries. He knows what it's like
- 1:56to be in America, obviously.
- 1:59So as we can see, like in our nation, it does seem like things are breaking
- 2:02down in Western society does feel like that.
- 2:05Maybe it's because we're not going as extreme as the Muslims do in their countries,
- 2:11that they are under Sharia law. They're under a theocracy.
- 2:15Should we go under a theocracy as Christians or would that turn into like the handmaidens tell?
- 2:21I know people are afraid of that. That's where we end up at.
- 2:25But I mean, we are a Christian nation. The United States is a Christian nation,
- 2:30but we really don't own it.
- 2:31I mean, we say that, but we do. We say everybody can practice their own religion,
- 2:36but we see when people aren't following the truth, it does end up in despair.
- 2:43You don't always feel great about where you're living.
- 2:47You don't feel great about your
- 2:48circumstances, the condition of our country, and just our way of life.
- 2:52And people aren't obviously living like they're living for Christ.
- 2:56They're not because we're not promoting it as much as maybe we should.
- 3:01Maybe we should buckle down and put like, we're Christian nation, everyone.
- 3:05You know, the church and the state, we're coming together.
- 3:11It's amazing. It's amazing. I'm not Muslim, obviously. In fact,
- 3:14I'm like a Christian, you know, flat out Christian. And my ancestors are from Europe.
- 3:19And so I'm not, I have nothing in common on that level with the Gulf.
- 3:23But you go to the Gulf and it's incredible to be in a place that has pride in
- 3:28itself, that believes in its religion and culture, that thinks we're on,
- 3:31we're onto something. And this is great. Look at what we're doing.
- 3:32We're really proud of this.
- 3:33Those people are happy. They're welcoming of others. They're tolerant of diversity.
- 3:38Like always, they're tolerant of diversity. There's none of that here. Are you kidding? all the
- 3:41whites it is such i mean it is such
- 3:44a good point what he is raising because i have been over in a
- 3:47country that was in sudan it's very heavily it's
- 3:52their religion pretty much is islam i mean i
- 3:54know there's you're kind of either born christian or born islam but like
- 3:57the the national identity is pretty much muslim
- 4:00so you do see that like people over there they're
- 4:03they're kind we don't they're in certain areas
- 4:06they're not always they're not all extremists you know
- 4:09i think we always do we just see that the extreme ones
- 4:12are the ones that get the most attention because obviously because they're
- 4:15strapping bombs to themselves and wanting to kill
- 4:18but it's like if you're around muslims like people that have been rat have not
- 4:23been radicalized they are the most hospitable kind people they it is a culture
- 4:29it's a different culture over there and i think as we get further and further
- 4:34along i just we just saw yesterday the guy who created only fans he
- 4:38just passed away by cancer at the age of 43, but OnlyFans itself is just like
- 4:44an embodiment of where we are as a nation.
- 4:47It just shows us how the extreme nature that we went to, that is just regular
- 4:52women. They have, they, they grow up and they can make a choice.
- 4:55Do I want to make money and have it easy and just sell my body?
- 5:00Or do I want to maybe not have everything given to me and, you know,
- 5:05and have to work and earn a living, you know?
- 5:08So, like, just the way that we are as the United States, it doesn't look too great overall.
- 5:14Oh, we love black people. Then they run and move to Bozeman because there are
- 5:17no black people. Send their kids to the country.
- 5:19They hate diversity. They hate it. And our version of it isn't working at all. No. Like at all.
- 5:24So, but you go to a country like Japan or the Emirates or Qatar or Saudi Arabia
- 5:28and you see that when people are self-confident, when they're really pleased
- 5:33with what they're doing and they believe that their system is the right system,
- 5:36that self-confidence results in a kind of welcoming attitude.
- 5:40So you'll be sitting at dinner in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and you'll say,
- 5:45you know, I'm really kind of pro-Jesus, like I'm a Christian.
- 5:48They'll be like, that's so great.
- 5:49And they don't have the same... Well, they mean it. They don't have the same
- 5:51belief. No, they're Muslims. They're Muslims, yeah. It's a country governed by Sharia law. Right.
- 5:55And they're like, that's great. Good for you. Yeah. It's great.
- 5:57And you notice like in ISIS or Al-Qaeda or like the Muslim extremists,
- 6:02they're all from like collapsed, pathetic societies dominated by colonial powers.
- 6:07They've been degraded. And that's why they're so angry.
- 6:11Right? So there's something about being degraded that turns you into a violent
- 6:14nutcase extremist. You're seeing a lot of violent nutcase extremists in our
- 6:16country. Not surprising because the country's being degraded.
- 6:18Correct. So in a country with self-confidence, people are tolerant and open-minded and happy.
- 6:23And in a country where people are told to hate themselves, they start to hate others.
- 6:27It's very reasonable, the position that he is. But like, whether you're a Christian
- 6:31or a Muslim or you don't have any certain faith, it does come down to a matter of truth, you know? And-
- 6:40If there is a devil, if there is Satan, you know, if we, if we believe there's
- 6:43a God, you know, then there, there seems to be some type of evil force in our
- 6:47universe that is making evil things happen.
- 6:50You know, like you can't just like not look and say that just,
- 6:54that just happened, you know, but we can recognize evil when we see it.
- 6:58And so if God is there and like, if Jesus Christ is the truth and,
- 7:02you know, wouldn't Satan want to make everything as look peaceful and nice in certain places.
- 7:08And I'm not saying that like, there's this umbrella of the Abrahamic religions,
- 7:13you know, the Christianity, Islam.
- 7:15Judaism, that they're like the three national, like three world faiths that
- 7:22people like the biggest, that have the biggest backing, the strongest reach
- 7:26because they've been around for so long.
- 7:29But when it comes down to it, what is truth, you know?
- 7:32And I, I'm not, I don't, I know we could go the Joe Rogan route where it,
- 7:35what, what works is that's the best way to go about it, you know,
- 7:38because you could live in a society that is peaceful, you know, go to Dubai.
- 7:43And it's like, they're under Sharia law. It's under lockdown.
- 7:46I think it's, it's really more of just authoritarian state.
- 7:52It's like in those areas, there's a King. It's like, you disobey the King,
- 7:56you steal something, you get your hand chopped off.
- 7:58You know, like it's, they're very strict and they're, and they,
- 8:04they, they do what works.
- 8:05So it's like, is it what practical? Does that make it truth?
- 8:09Just because it's practical.
- 8:11Jesus, I, I, and I've went back and forth so many times about this with Jesus. Like,
- 8:16Did he really want us to get so heavily involved in politics and government
- 8:20and like we should care about that as much?
- 8:23I am heavily involved in it. I care about it. And it's something I'm very interested in.
- 8:28But really, was Jesus concerned about that? It seemed like he was the opposite of that.
- 8:33So it's, I think somebody is going to decide our morals.
- 8:37And if we have the power to implement our morals, implement Christian values, we should do it.
- 8:42But this choice between under sharia
- 8:45law and under like the west that we
- 8:48have just it's we live in a liberal society that's
- 8:51what we were built on we were built on christianity but in a real sense liberalism
- 8:56just that everybody can do their own thing there's freedom which is good but
- 9:02when everybody has freedom and everybody's not tethered to what's truth and
- 9:05what's reality people can go off in crazy directions.
- 9:10And I see that Tucker is, he's getting people just chomping at the bits and
- 9:15wanting to tear them down because he is doing a lot of damage.
- 9:19He's doing a lot of damage in our society because he is on the side of just asking questions.
- 9:23And I, foundational level, I disagree with him.
- 9:26Where he stands on Israel, where he stands on Trump and where he stands on MAGA
- 9:31and where he stands on America and what's good for us as a nation,
- 9:35it does seem at times like he is a double agent. Like, who are you working for?
- 9:40But I don't, I'm not like, he's reasonable and he's able to explain the differences,
- 9:48his life lessons that he's went through, that it makes sense what he's saying
- 9:53because he's been over there, he's been in those Muslim heavily populated areas,
- 9:57and he knows what it's like to be here.
- 9:58And we see it's not working here. But it's like.
- 10:03When Jesus and the apostles were on the earth, it was like, we think that it's
- 10:08so terrible now. It's so awful now.
- 10:11I mean, this isn't nothing compared to that day and age.
- 10:14People were like, they didn't have OnlyFans, but they were going to the temples
- 10:19to have sex with prostitutes, you know, to worship gods.
- 10:22That's the way they did it. And that was just natural for them.
- 10:26They just regular Roman soldiers. They would have little boys.
- 10:30They would have boys that there was pedophilia was just rampant.
- 10:34So we've kind of reversed on a lot of things. In our Western civilization,
- 10:38we have Christian values embedded within us.
- 10:41But it's not to say that Satan doesn't want to attack us and destroy us because
- 10:46we're carrying the truth. Because we're carrying the truth.
- 10:50We're trying to, and the light is going to blaze brighter in a dark area.
- 10:55And the United States is becoming dark in a lot of ways.
- 10:59But I don't think it's to go under Sharia law because even though it might be
- 11:03locked down and peaceful with them, it's not the truth.
- 11:07And that's what you got to come to terms with. Either Jesus Christ is the truth
- 11:11or he's not. You can't have it both ways. And Muslims, they're not saying he is.
- 11:15They're not saying, they're not, because Islam gets so confusing because they have to go.
- 11:23There's so many contradictions because their religion says that the Old Testament
- 11:27and the New Testament is God's word. So they have to accept it.
- 11:31But then they, they also, it has things in the Quran that.
- 11:37Explicitly contradict the Bible. They explicitly say things that aren't in the New Testament.
- 11:42So it's like, if you get into that, like that, uh, dialogue with the Muslim, um,
- 11:46They see the New Testament and the Old Testament as holy books,
- 11:50but they don't see, they don't recognize it.
- 11:53They don't actually, that's why if you actually give them a Bible and they read
- 11:57it, they want to have one because they recognize it as holy,
- 12:00but they don't actually want to read it because it completely goes against what
- 12:04they're told to believe.
- 12:05So Jesus Christ is either the truth or he's not. And what do you think Satan wants to do?
- 12:10He wants to make a nation that is built on Christianity. He wants to make them
- 12:15look like they got everything out of whack, which we do.
- 12:18You know, it's like Satan has just infiltrated our system and our way of life
- 12:23and is just trying to control and bring a bad name because he doesn't want people to believe it.
- 12:29He wants them to not look like it's a good way of life.
- 12:33But Christianity in Western civilization, they're not like identical.
- 12:37They're not like exactly aligned.
- 12:40You know, it's they're not the same thing.
- 12:43Western civilization is built on, you know, free or free love,
- 12:46free thinking, you know, do your own thing kind of thing in a lot of ways because
- 12:50we give her, everybody has freedom, which is good.
- 12:53But sometimes when you don't have like people telling what the truth is,
- 12:57then people go in all different directions.
- 12:59So I understand why Tucker Carlson is sympathizing so much with,
- 13:04with this surreal law that is in these countries because it is orderly.
- 13:08It is, there's like, you can go somewhere, put your watch down or put your phone
- 13:14down. You don't have to worry about somebody stealing it.
- 13:16It's kind of thing. Like if you walk into a church, normally you can put your
- 13:20stuff somewhere and you don't have to worry about somebody stealing it more
- 13:23than likely, you know, and it's not always the case, but it's like,
- 13:27generally you're, you, you have a shared worldview with the people you're around.
- 13:33And I think if we, in the United States brought more Christianity,
- 13:37I would love theocracy bring theocracy on.
- 13:40But I mean, I'd say that at the
- 13:42same time that probably that's not really necessarily what Jesus preached.
- 13:47You know, he said, my kingdom is not of this world. You know, I'm the same type of guy.
- 13:51I would love a commune. I'd love to live in a place, a commune with Christians
- 13:55all around where we share everything, you know, but we know that always turns
- 13:59out kind of bad because every way you go in this world, it's never going to be perfect.
- 14:04That's why we say your kingdom come, your will be done. God's kingdom is perfect.
- 14:09This kingdom here on earth that we build, it's not so much.
- 14:13Actually, it always goes in the opposite direction. It goes in the evil direction
- 14:17because we have, it's not the evils outside of us.
- 14:19The evil is within each of us and we got to resist it and fight it.
- 14:23All right, we'll leave it at that. Let me know what you think. Drop a comment.
- 14:27What side are you on? Or if there is a side, let me know what you think. Have a good day.
