- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome to Come Back to Love with your host, Robin Vogel.
- 0:05Speaker 1: Each week at this same time, Come Back to Love
- 0:08Speaker 1: covers an endless array of topics related to relationships, love,
- 0:12Speaker 1: and intimacy, along with all the reasons you may be
- 0:15Speaker 1: keeping love at a distance. Can a shattered heart be
- 0:17Speaker 1: your doorway to your greatest love story? Robin will give
- 0:21Speaker 1: you practical tools that can be used to heal the
- 0:23Speaker 1: past and help you to safely love again. And now,
- 0:27Speaker 1: today's Come Back to Love.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Hey everybody, shout out to all of my listeners. This
- 0:35Speaker 2: is Robin Vogel and this is the radio show Come
- 0:39Speaker 2: Back to Love. Welcome, welcome. Today, or actually yesterday, but
- 0:46Speaker 2: we're still moving into the energy, is the fall equinox.
- 0:50Speaker 2: I'm so happy to be doing a radio show on
- 0:53Speaker 2: one of my absolute favorite days of the year, where
- 0:57Speaker 2: the balance of the light and the dark is is
- 1:00Speaker 2: perfectly equal, perfectly balanced. Just one of those days that
- 1:06Speaker 2: I really love. And I'm so happy to be here
- 1:11Speaker 2: today and able to chat with you about the light
- 1:15Speaker 2: and the dark. One day of the year when light
- 1:18Speaker 2: and darkness are perfectly balanced, equal 12 hours of each,
- 1:22Speaker 2: neither winning. Most years it passes without much ceremony. The
- 1:27Speaker 2: calendar turns a page, the weather shifts. I'm in New England,
- 1:31Speaker 2: so it gets kind of cold out here. People start
- 1:34Speaker 2: thinking about sweaters and pumpkins and general acceleration of fall
- 1:41Speaker 2: is happening. And I have to say it is true.
- 1:43Speaker 2: I am sitting here with a blanket wrapped around me
- 1:45Speaker 2: and yesterday I had a fire in my fireplace. The
- 1:48Speaker 2: weather is definitely changing out here in the Northeast. But
- 1:52Speaker 2: I want to stop here for a moment because I
- 1:54Speaker 2: think the equinox is pointing at something we don't talk
- 2:00Speaker 2: about enough. And it's why I love this day. Not
- 2:04Speaker 2: in astronomy, not even in spirituality exactly, but in love.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Here's what I mean. We live in a culture that
- 2:14Speaker 2: is very comfortable with the light, with growth and healing
- 2:18Speaker 2: and positivity and forward momentum. with the idea that the
- 2:23Speaker 2: goal of all this inner work is to get to
- 2:27Speaker 2: a place where we are whole and open and radiantly
- 2:30Speaker 2: available for love. And that's not wrong. That is definitely
- 2:36Speaker 2: a wonderful thing to aspire to, to experience, to move towards.
- 2:43Speaker 2: But the equinox asks a different question. Not how do
- 2:48Speaker 2: we get to more light? Because remember, neither one, the
- 2:51Speaker 2: light or the dark, is winning here. But what happens
- 2:54Speaker 2: when we learn to stand in the balance? When we
- 2:57Speaker 2: stop running from the dark and stop hiding in the
- 3:00Speaker 2: light and simply stand at the threshold where both are true?
- 3:08Speaker 2: That threshold, I believe, is where love actually lives. I'm
- 3:12Speaker 2: Robin Vogel. This is Come Back to Love on KMET Radio.
- 3:16Speaker 2: We are live on Thursdays. 1.30 p.m. Pacific, 4.30 p.m.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Eastern Time. And today, in honor of this moment, when
- 3:25Speaker 2: the earth itself pauses at the balance point, we're going
- 3:28Speaker 2: to talk about what the light and the dark have
- 3:30Speaker 2: to do with your capacity to love and be loved.
- 3:35Speaker 2: So stay with me. I want to make a distinction
- 3:40Speaker 2: today that I think is important. When we talk about
- 3:42Speaker 2: shadow work in the healing world, and I've done a
- 3:44Speaker 2: lot of it personally and professionally, we're usually talking about
- 3:47Speaker 2: the traumatic shadow, the wounds, the parts of us that
- 3:50Speaker 2: were hurt or neglected or shaped by painful early experiences,
- 3:55Speaker 2: the grief that never got to be grieved, the anger
- 3:58Speaker 2: that had nowhere to go, the shame that moved in
- 4:02Speaker 2: quietly and never quite moved out. That shadow is real
- 4:07Speaker 2: and the work of meeting it with compassion, with courage,
- 4:10Speaker 2: with the right support is some of the most important
- 4:13Speaker 2: work a person can do. But there's a second kind
- 4:17Speaker 2: of shadow that I don't hear talked about nearly as much.
- 4:21Speaker 2: And it's the one I want to address today because
- 4:24Speaker 2: here's what I've noticed in 20 plus years of sitting
- 4:27Speaker 2: with people in this work. Many of the most conscious, self-aware,
- 4:31Speaker 2: spiritually awake people I know have done the first shadow work,
- 4:36Speaker 2: the deep work, the therapy, the retreats, the IFS work,
- 4:41Speaker 2: the somatic healing. They have sat with their wounds and
- 4:44Speaker 2: met their parts and rewired their nervous system and done
- 4:47Speaker 2: everything the books and the teachers and the programs asked
- 4:50Speaker 2: them to do, including me, by the way. And they
- 4:55Speaker 2: are still in some quiet, persistent way, not where they
- 4:59Speaker 2: want to be in love. Not because they haven't healed enough,
- 5:02Speaker 2: but because there's a second shadow in They haven't met yet.
- 5:07Speaker 2: I call it the shadow of the unexpressed self. It's
- 5:11Speaker 2: not the wounded part of you. It's the unlived part
- 5:15Speaker 2: of you. The part that knows at a soul level
- 5:20Speaker 2: that love is possible in a way that you haven't
- 5:22Speaker 2: yet experienced. That connection can go deeper than you've allowed
- 5:26Speaker 2: it to go so far. That something in you is
- 5:30Speaker 2: still holding back, not out of fear exactly, but out
- 5:33Speaker 2: of a kind of profound unfamiliarity with what it would
- 5:38Speaker 2: actually feel like to be fully met. This shadow doesn't
- 5:44Speaker 2: come from trauma. It comes from not yet knowing. And
- 5:47Speaker 2: it's the quietest shadow of all because it doesn't announce
- 5:50Speaker 2: itself the way grief or anger does. It just sits
- 5:53Speaker 2: there like a door you have never opened. You hardly
- 5:56Speaker 2: even know the door is there. I didn't. In the
- 6:00Speaker 2: back of a room, you thought you knew completely, but
- 6:03Speaker 2: realize once you get there that you didn't. The equinox
- 6:08Speaker 2: is interesting to me because it doesn't ask us to
- 6:10Speaker 2: eliminate the shadow. It doesn't say now is the time
- 6:13Speaker 2: to flood everything with light. It says today, just for
- 6:17Speaker 2: this moment, hold both. Stand at the place where they meet.
- 6:23Speaker 2: That is where I want to take you today. Thank
- 6:26Speaker 2: you for joining me. I want to say something that
- 6:30Speaker 2: might surprise you. If I haven't already. You can hide
- 6:35Speaker 2: from love in the light just as effectively as you
- 6:38Speaker 2: can hide from it in the dark. Yeah, I'm going
- 6:42Speaker 2: to say that again. You can hide from love in
- 6:44Speaker 2: the light just as effectively as you can hide from
- 6:47Speaker 2: it in the dark. In the dark, hiding is obvious.
- 6:52Speaker 2: We close off, we pull back, we build walls, we
- 6:56Speaker 2: shut down. We choose unavailable people, we get busy, oh,
- 7:01Speaker 2: I'm so busy, I couldn't possibly, I don't have time.
- 7:04Speaker 2: We tell ourselves we're fine on our own, we're totally independent.
- 7:09Speaker 2: The protection is visible, even if only in retrospect, looking
- 7:14Speaker 2: back on it, you know. And we've talked about this
- 7:17Speaker 2: a lot on the show, actually. But hiding in the
- 7:20Speaker 2: light is subtler, and in some ways, more tenacious, because
- 7:24Speaker 2: it looks like growth. It sounds like I'm still working
- 7:28Speaker 2: on myself. I'm not ready yet. I need to heal
- 7:32Speaker 2: this one more thing before I can be truly available.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Once I make enough money, I'll really be completely free
- 7:39Speaker 2: to date. I'm doing my practices, my journaling, my meditation.
- 7:44Speaker 2: I'm getting clearer all the time, but I'm just not
- 7:46Speaker 2: clear quite yet. Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. You
- 7:50Speaker 2: can fill in your blanks there for yourself. All of
- 7:54Speaker 2: that is true. And all of it can also be
- 7:57Speaker 2: And I can say this with some enormous compassion, a
- 8:01Speaker 2: very sophisticated way of staying safe. And why do I
- 8:05Speaker 2: know this? Because I have done it myself. I did
- 8:08Speaker 2: it for years, years and years. Mine was like some
- 8:13Speaker 2: of what I just said before, you know, I'm so busy.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Once my business is settled, I'll be available. I kept
- 8:21Speaker 2: meeting unavailable people. Yeah, I'm very independent. I am very independent.
- 8:28Speaker 2: But I had to learn that I can be independent
- 8:31Speaker 2: and dependent both. So there's a lot of ways to
- 8:35Speaker 2: hide in the light. Again, very, very sophisticated way of
- 8:39Speaker 2: staying safe. Because here's the thing about healing as a
- 8:43Speaker 2: way of life, it can become its own protection. If
- 8:46Speaker 2: I am always in the process of healing, always one
- 8:50Speaker 2: retreat away, one breakthrough away, one more layer of shadow
- 8:55Speaker 2: work away from being ready, then I never actually have
- 8:58Speaker 2: to arrive, I never have to stand in the open,
- 9:03Speaker 2: fully visible, fully available, and risk being truly seen by
- 9:09Speaker 2: another person. It's scary, that can be scary, for sure,
- 9:14Speaker 2: to stand there naked and let yourself be seen. Such
- 9:17Speaker 2: a practice. And it is A lot of what we
- 9:20Speaker 2: practice actually in my workshops and retreats, just standing, just being,
- 9:27Speaker 2: allowing yourself to be seen, letting the veils go, taking
- 9:30Speaker 2: down the protection, sitting, breathing, eye contact. It's not that
- 9:36Speaker 2: easy and so incredibly valuable to practice. So the light
- 9:42Speaker 2: can be armor too. I'm not saying stop the work.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Please don't stop the work. I am saying notice if
- 9:48Speaker 2: the work has become a reason not to arrive. Notice
- 9:52Speaker 2: if spiritual growth has become a substitute for the intimacy
- 9:55Speaker 2: you're actually looking for. Notice if healing has become so
- 10:00Speaker 2: comfortable that love, real messy, uncertain, vulnerable love, feels somehow
- 10:06Speaker 2: besides the point. The equinox doesn't ask us to choose.
- 10:11Speaker 2: It doesn't say drop the healing, leap into love. That
- 10:13Speaker 2: would be reckless. And it's not what I'm suggesting. Equinox says,
- 10:19Speaker 2: can you hold both at the same time? Can you
- 10:22Speaker 2: be someone who is always growing and someone who is
- 10:25Speaker 2: available right now? Can you be someone who is who
- 10:29Speaker 2: still has work to do and someone who is already
- 10:32Speaker 2: worthy of love they want? Like you still have work
- 10:35Speaker 2: to do, but you're also already ready. Those are not opposites.
- 10:40Speaker 2: They are the balance point. And learning to stand there
- 10:43Speaker 2: to live in that balance rather than oscillating between too
- 10:46Speaker 2: much light and too much shadow That is one of
- 10:49Speaker 2: the most advanced pieces of this whole entire journey back
- 10:52Speaker 2: to love. So what does it actually look like to
- 10:57Speaker 2: stand at that threshold? I'm guessing you are asking that
- 11:01Speaker 2: question because so far it's, you know, it's specific, but
- 11:04Speaker 2: also vague. Like what does that threshold actually look like?
- 11:08Speaker 2: To hold both the light and the shadow with love.
- 11:13Speaker 2: I think it looks like this. It looks like being
- 11:15Speaker 2: willing to want love, really want it, not as a
- 11:18Speaker 2: spiritual concept, but as a lived embodied daily experience without
- 11:23Speaker 2: making that wanting mean something is wrong with you. It
- 11:27Speaker 2: looks like acknowledging the places that are still tender, the
- 11:30Speaker 2: old wounds, the protective parts, the ways you still sometimes
- 11:34Speaker 2: pull back without using them as a reason to keep
- 11:37Speaker 2: love at a careful distance. So it's like acknowledging your childhood,
- 11:42Speaker 2: acknowledging your past, acknowledging heartbreaks, Acknowledging that you still have
- 11:48Speaker 2: parts that protect yourself, but just not allowing those to
- 11:51Speaker 2: take over, right? Not allowing those to lead, not allowing
- 11:56Speaker 2: those to keep you separate from the love that you want. Instead,
- 12:02Speaker 2: it looks like being in the shadow of what hasn't
- 12:04Speaker 2: happened yet. The relationship you haven't found, the depth of
- 12:08Speaker 2: connection you haven't felt, the love that hasn't landed yet
- 12:12Speaker 2: without collapsing into despair about it or pretending it doesn't matter.
- 12:17Speaker 2: And it looks like standing in the light of who
- 12:18Speaker 2: you actually are, the growth you've done, the growth you've experienced,
- 12:22Speaker 2: the healing you've embodied, the wisdom you've earned, without using
- 12:26Speaker 2: that light as armor against the vulnerability of being truly known.
- 12:33Speaker 2: The threshold, this threshold, is not necessarily comfortable. I want
- 12:37Speaker 2: to be honest about that. It's easier to be in
- 12:39Speaker 2: the shadow where at least you know what you're dealing with. Well,
- 12:42Speaker 2: some of the time. And it's easier to be in
- 12:44Speaker 2: the light where everything looks like progress and forward movement.
- 12:48Speaker 2: The threshold requires you to be still enough to feel both.
- 12:53Speaker 2: And in my experience, both personally and professionally, it's in
- 12:56Speaker 2: that stillness that the most important shifts happen. Not more
- 13:01Speaker 2: efforting harder towards healing, like working, working, working. Not when
- 13:05Speaker 2: we're protecting ourselves more cleverly, like I shared some of
- 13:09Speaker 2: my very clever ways of protecting myself over the years.
- 13:13Speaker 2: But when We stand at the balance point and let
- 13:15Speaker 2: both truths be present at once. I've done so much
- 13:18Speaker 2: of this work and love hasn't fully landed yet. But
- 13:23Speaker 2: both are true. Some love has landed and I continue
- 13:27Speaker 2: to do my work. And holding both without resolving either
- 13:31Speaker 2: is where something new becomes possible. I'm going to share
- 13:36Speaker 2: a practice, but I'm also reminded to share one that
- 13:38Speaker 2: was taught to me years and years ago. And I'll
- 13:40Speaker 2: just share this one first. If you're in a space
- 13:44Speaker 2: where you can do this, or if you're listening in
- 13:46Speaker 2: the car while you're going for a walk, you can
- 13:47Speaker 2: do it later. But I invite you to go to
- 13:50Speaker 2: a doorway in your house, like a space where you're
- 13:54Speaker 2: moving from one room to the other room. I suppose
- 13:58Speaker 2: you could do it at your front door as well,
- 13:59Speaker 2: but I did it between two rooms, let's say between
- 14:02Speaker 2: the kitchen and the dining room. So there's a doorway
- 14:05Speaker 2: and there's a, you know, I'm not remembering what you
- 14:09Speaker 2: call it in this moment, but just that space, the
- 14:11Speaker 2: transitional space. And I stood there right in the transition
- 14:17Speaker 2: of the space, feeling the light and feeling the shadow.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Perhaps I was feeling the shadow as I leaned back
- 14:25Speaker 2: and the light as I leaned forward. Shadow behind me
- 14:30Speaker 2: was in the kitchen and the light in front of
- 14:32Speaker 2: me was in the dining room. And it just allowed
- 14:35Speaker 2: my body to sway into the shadow and into the light.
- 14:40Speaker 2: And I swayed back and forth many times before just
- 14:44Speaker 2: landing in the center and not moving forward or back.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Just being with both. It's a really just subtle but
- 14:55Speaker 2: very deep somatic practice of embodying the light and the dark.
- 15:01Speaker 2: And just noticing which way your body wants to sway,
- 15:05Speaker 2: but coming back to the balanced place in the center.
- 15:08Speaker 2: It actually comes from an Osho meditation, for those of
- 15:10Speaker 2: you that might know Osho. Anyway, that's a first practice
- 15:14Speaker 2: to invite you to. And there's another one, also simple.
- 15:20Speaker 2: And it might be one of the most honest things
- 15:21Speaker 2: I've ever asked you to do. Tonight, or sometime this week,
- 15:24Speaker 2: when you have a quiet moment, I want you to
- 15:26Speaker 2: sit with the two statements. Just sit with them. Don't
- 15:30Speaker 2: try to resolve. Don't try to make one of them
- 15:32Speaker 2: more true than the other. Just let both be present
- 15:35Speaker 2: at the same time. The first statement is I've done
- 15:39Speaker 2: real work on myself. I've grown, I've healed things. I
- 15:41Speaker 2: didn't think I could heal. I am not the same
- 15:44Speaker 2: person as I was five years ago or 10 or 20.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Just let that land. Really let it in. You've earned it.
- 15:51Speaker 2: Just take stock in what you've done to grow and
- 15:55Speaker 2: heal over the years, no matter what, whether it was
- 15:58Speaker 2: a little or a lot, it all really deserves your acknowledgement.
- 16:05Speaker 2: And I invite you to take a breath into that
- 16:07Speaker 2: and let that land. Let that really be. The second
- 16:13Speaker 2: statement is this. Love hasn't fully landed. There's something I'm
- 16:20Speaker 2: still longing for. A depth of connection. A felt sense
- 16:24Speaker 2: of being truly known. A love that reaches the parts
- 16:28Speaker 2: of me that are still waiting. And you might fill
- 16:34Speaker 2: in the blank with your desire for being seen and
- 16:37Speaker 2: cherished and adored. Let that land too, without making it
- 16:42Speaker 2: mean something is wrong with you at all, without turning
- 16:45Speaker 2: it into a project or problem to solve, just acknowledging
- 16:50Speaker 2: love hasn't fully landed in the way that I want
- 16:52Speaker 2: it to, the way that I have wanted it to,
- 16:54Speaker 2: the way that I expect it to in my life,
- 16:57Speaker 2: the way I deserve to have love. So just be
- 17:03Speaker 2: with that. Take a breath into that second statement. So
- 17:09Speaker 2: the first part is I've done real work. I've grown.
- 17:12Speaker 2: I'm acknowledging all that I've done for myself has been
- 17:15Speaker 2: so amazing. Send yourself some love, put your hands on
- 17:18Speaker 2: your heart, take that love in. And the second statement,
- 17:22Speaker 2: you might keep your hands on your heart and just
- 17:24Speaker 2: notice I'm still longing for love. It hasn't landed in
- 17:27Speaker 2: the way I really am craving and wanting in my life.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Both.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Both are true. Both can coexist. This is the equinox practice,
- 17:37Speaker 2: holding both the light of what you've become and the
- 17:41Speaker 2: shadow of what hasn't arrived yet. And notice in that balance,
- 17:48Speaker 2: what wants to move? That's a really great question. So
- 17:55Speaker 2: I want to invite you to put these two practices together. Actually,
- 17:58Speaker 2: I want to invite you to Find a doorway or
- 18:02Speaker 2: a threshold and feel the work you've done behind you.
- 18:09Speaker 2: And again, really sink into it. Actually, acknowledging work you've
- 18:12Speaker 2: done is one of the most important things you can
- 18:14Speaker 2: do for yourself. People sometimes just blow that off like, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever.
- 18:19Speaker 2: I did that. I totally healed from a major heartbreak
- 18:23Speaker 2: and betrayal. But now I'm just worried about, you know,
- 18:27Speaker 2: what's happening in the future. It's like, okay. Let's just say, wow,
- 18:31Speaker 2: you healed from a heartbreak and betrayal. That's amazing, actually.
- 18:35Speaker 2: A lot of people don't. A lot of people don't
- 18:39Speaker 2: choose it. A lot of people don't know that that's
- 18:41Speaker 2: even a possibility to heal from heartbreak and betrayal. It
- 18:46Speaker 2: 100% is possible. Absolutely. Spread the word. If you're one
- 18:52Speaker 2: who believes that. That's part of my mission statement. So
- 18:57Speaker 2: really acknowledging yourself. You know, really acknowledging yourself, patting yourself
- 19:01Speaker 2: on the back, you know, not from a place of ego,
- 19:06Speaker 2: but from a place of like, yes, I have this capacity.
- 19:09Speaker 2: I've taken this on. I value myself. I value healing.
- 19:14Speaker 2: I want to love myself more. I love myself more
- 19:17Speaker 2: than I did, you know, five years ago or last year,
- 19:19Speaker 2: whatever it is that's true for you. Really, really acknowledge yourself.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Stand in that. Feel your feet at the threshold. Feel
- 19:28Speaker 2: your body. take some breaths, feel it run through all
- 19:32Speaker 2: the cells in your body. Yeah, just let that be.
- 19:37Speaker 2: And notice, just notice, there might be other parts that
- 19:43Speaker 2: show up that want to, you know, say otherwise, or
- 19:45Speaker 2: just let those parts step aside. And IFS, we say,
- 19:48Speaker 2: allow those you know, invite those parts to relax back.
- 19:52Speaker 2: Sometimes we send them to an imaginary waiting room, just
- 19:55Speaker 2: allowing you to give space to fully acknowledging yourself without
- 19:59Speaker 2: any interruptions from other parts, you know, that might want
- 20:03Speaker 2: to sabotage this beautiful moment of acknowledging yourself. So as
- 20:08Speaker 2: you're standing in that threshold and all of that is
- 20:11Speaker 2: behind you, but with you, right? Because you're standing in
- 20:13Speaker 2: the both and in this moment, but it's behind you
- 20:17Speaker 2: because it's in the past.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Yes.
- 20:19Speaker 2: But also it's very, very much in the present, all
- 20:21Speaker 2: the gifts that you received from all the healing you've done.
- 20:24Speaker 2: And again, whether it's been a little bit of healing
- 20:26Speaker 2: or a lot of healing, it doesn't matter. It's just
- 20:29Speaker 2: acknowledging what it is thus far in your life. And
- 20:32Speaker 2: then have a breath, still standing in that threshold and
- 20:36Speaker 2: bring in that You know, that desire, the longing, a craving.
- 20:43Speaker 2: What is that? What does that look like for you?
- 20:45Speaker 2: Get a visual of that and see it in front
- 20:48Speaker 2: of you. And again, it's not really actually in front
- 20:52Speaker 2: of you, though it is in the future, perhaps. But
- 20:56Speaker 2: the way that I see it is it's also in
- 20:58Speaker 2: the present. The energy of what you desire, what you're
- 21:02Speaker 2: longing for, what you're craving. a sense of being truly known,
- 21:06Speaker 2: truly seen, safe space to be vulnerable, excellent communication, a
- 21:13Speaker 2: place where you can find your balance and your ground
- 21:16Speaker 2: in relationship and love, to be loved, to love another,
- 21:22Speaker 2: all the things that feel so good. Let's add great sex,
- 21:26Speaker 2: excellent intimacy, connection, play. I mean, the list goes on, right?
- 21:32Speaker 2: Whether you're partnered or not, you might have a longing
- 21:35Speaker 2: and a craving for something else, something different. So, you know,
- 21:41Speaker 2: whether you're single and want to stay single or you're
- 21:45Speaker 2: single and want to be in partnership or you're in
- 21:47Speaker 2: partnership and you'd like the relationship to grow, this information
- 21:51Speaker 2: is for all of you. Absolutely. So just standing in
- 21:56Speaker 2: that threshold and feeling that present slash future space. relationship
- 22:04Speaker 2: that lands for you. And just really take that in,
- 22:08Speaker 2: allow that energy to travel through your body to go
- 22:11Speaker 2: down to your feet to ground all the way up
- 22:14Speaker 2: to the crown of your head and beyond. And just
- 22:16Speaker 2: really bathe in that energy too. And this is the
- 22:22Speaker 2: equinox being with all being with everything that exists, not
- 22:28Speaker 2: polarized parts, not othering, not this or that, not the
- 22:34Speaker 2: grass is greener over there. I mean, oh my gosh,
- 22:37Speaker 2: our whole world is filled with that energy. This is
- 22:39Speaker 2: about being with what is in this moment. And both
- 22:42Speaker 2: are true. And that's why I love the equinox so much.
- 22:48Speaker 2: So if what we talked about today landed somewhere real
- 22:51Speaker 2: in you, if you recognize yourself in the person who
- 22:54Speaker 2: has done the work, and is still waiting for love
- 22:56Speaker 2: to fully arrive, I want you to know that there's
- 22:59Speaker 2: a place where that changes as well. As you're holding
- 23:03Speaker 2: all of it, you can bring it with you. On
- 23:07Speaker 2: December 27th, I'm gathering a small group of people, 20 people,
- 23:11Speaker 2: actually conscious, self-aware, spiritually awake people who are exactly where
- 23:15Speaker 2: you are. And we're gathering together for eight days in
- 23:20Speaker 2: the cloud forest of Costa Rica. The retreat is called
- 23:23Speaker 2: Come Back to Love, and it's designed for the person
- 23:26Speaker 2: who is standing at exactly this moment in this threshold.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Not to push you towards more healing, although there'll be
- 23:36Speaker 2: lots of invitations, obviously, to go into your heart and
- 23:39Speaker 2: to look at what's there and, you know, be with
- 23:42Speaker 2: yourself and love yourself more deeply. A space to help
- 23:46Speaker 2: love finally land. There are five spots remaining, only five.
- 23:50Speaker 2: If this is something that has light around it for you,
- 23:55Speaker 2: if you've been circling around this, cause you've seen my,
- 23:59Speaker 2: you know, my social media posts or my website, come
- 24:02Speaker 2: back to love.com today, this equinox, this balance point might
