- 0:00Speaker 1: The second Black Book has been found. That's right, another
- 0:06Speaker 1: book allegedly that belonged to Jeffrey Epstein has been unearthed,
- 0:12Speaker 1: and inside of that book a whole bunch of new names,
- 0:18Speaker 1: well some names that aren't so new, but a bunch
- 0:21Speaker 1: of new names nonetheless. Now, of course, just like with
- 0:24Speaker 1: the other Black Book, doesn't mean that everybody who's named
- 0:27Speaker 1: in that book was involved with Epstein right at least
- 0:31Speaker 1: with his criminal racket he had going on. But what
- 0:35Speaker 1: it does is it shows you, and it builds a
- 0:38Speaker 1: profile once again about how Epstein was accepted within these circles,
- 0:45Speaker 1: within this rarefied air. And these same very people who
- 0:51Speaker 1: will look you dead pan in the face, directly in
- 0:54Speaker 1: the eyes and act like they had no idea who
- 0:57Speaker 1: he was or what he was up to, Well, those
- 1:01Speaker 1: very same people can never explain why they were in
- 1:05Speaker 1: his address book, or why they were out at a
- 1:09Speaker 1: dinner party together, or why they attended his choires at
- 1:14Speaker 1: his house. Although'll give you canned excuses, Oh, I was
- 1:18Speaker 1: the plus one of so and so, or I had
- 1:21Speaker 1: no idea who Epstein was and I was just going
- 1:24Speaker 1: there to meet the prince. But in reality, all of
- 1:29Speaker 1: these so called elite that have popped up throughout this case.
- 1:33Speaker 1: All of these people that used to run with him,
- 1:35Speaker 1: especially on a regular basis, at these events, at modeling gigs,
- 1:39Speaker 1: et cetera.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Et cetera. All of these people.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Who have denied knowing him, denied having a relationship with him,
- 1:50Speaker 1: are obviously lying. And you would think the best course
- 1:57Speaker 1: of action would be, if you know, you found out
- 1:59Speaker 1: you had a buddy like Jeffrey Epstein, would be to
- 2:02Speaker 1: come public and talk about it, right, I know I would.
- 2:05Speaker 1: If I really truly had no idea what this scumbag
- 2:08Speaker 1: was up to, and I had been around him or whatever,
- 2:11Speaker 1: forget it, I would I'd go. I'd be on the
- 2:13Speaker 1: first train to the FBI station. Well, that is, if
- 2:19Speaker 1: I was still able to walk after my mother beat
- 2:22Speaker 1: the living crap out of me. But all of these
- 2:27Speaker 1: people in these black books, and what we're gonna call
- 2:29Speaker 1: this is, you know, like in King Kong, the Son
- 2:33Speaker 1: of Kong, we'll call this the Son of the Black Book.
- 2:39Speaker 1: And obviously this is just the opening salvo of what's
- 2:42Speaker 1: in this book, kind of just to give you folks
- 2:45Speaker 1: an idea of what to expect moving forward. As more
- 2:49Speaker 1: information from this book is released, and you know, kind
- 2:54Speaker 1: of just to get the conversation started, right. I was
- 2:58Speaker 1: gonna wait till tomorrow to uh get this article recorded
- 3:03Speaker 1: and stuff, but I figured, you know what, why don't
- 3:08Speaker 1: we jump in the studio tonight and drop a daily drop.
- 3:12Speaker 1: So that's what we're doing, And our article tonight is
- 3:17Speaker 1: from Okay Magazine, headline inside Jeffrey Epstein's newly surfaced Little
- 3:23Speaker 1: Black Book reportedly connecting ex President Donald Trump, actress Morgan Fairchild,
- 3:30Speaker 1: and more to the sex offender. This article was authored
- 3:36Speaker 1: by the Okay staff. Now, the original article appeared in Insider, right,
- 3:43Speaker 1: Uh so it's behind a paywall and I'm not going
- 3:49Speaker 1: to pay honestly to read their content. So when a
- 3:56Speaker 1: more in depth article comes out, obviously we'll we'll dive
- 3:59Speaker 1: into that. But as for now, let's dip our toes
- 4:02Speaker 1: into the water with this article from Okay Magazine. A
- 4:07Speaker 1: damning Little Black Book of Jeffrey Epstein's appeared in twenty fifteen,
- 4:12Speaker 1: showing many prominent figures such as Donald Trump, Prince Andrew
- 4:17Speaker 1: aka the Joe Exotic of the Windsor family, and others
- 4:20Speaker 1: having connection to the disgraced pedophile and convicted felon, And
- 4:27Speaker 1: with the appearance of that Black Book, it began to
- 4:30Speaker 1: open up a doorway into Jeffrey Epstein's world. The curtain
- 4:38Speaker 1: was pulled back a bit, and some of the people
- 4:40Speaker 1: that were hanging out with him, some of the people
- 4:43Speaker 1: that were helping him refurbish his reputation, were now put
- 4:49Speaker 1: on blast for the public to see. And that's not
- 4:55Speaker 1: a place there used to being.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Right.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Most of the people that were talking about the rich,
- 4:59Speaker 1: the elite, the power, they have a lot of friends
- 5:01Speaker 1: in the media, They have a lot of friends on
- 5:04Speaker 1: network television, and these friends will do whatever they can
- 5:08Speaker 1: to help protect them. And that's just the way it goes.
- 5:14Speaker 1: That's the nature of the symbiotic relationship between the fourth
- 5:19Speaker 1: Estate and the so called elite. The fourth the state,
- 5:23Speaker 1: they want the access, the elite they want the cover.
- 5:27Speaker 1: So it's a match made in heaven, isn't it. And
- 5:31Speaker 1: that's what they do. You'll get the legacy media providing
- 5:36Speaker 1: cover for people named in that book, and then the
- 5:41Speaker 1: people named in the book, well, they'll just say, look,
- 5:43Speaker 1: we didn't know this guy, we have no idea what
- 5:44Speaker 1: you're talking about, and a limp legacy media will just
- 5:50Speaker 1: let them get away with it. We've seen it time
- 5:53Speaker 1: and time again.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Oh don't worry.
- 5:55Speaker 1: They'll call out the people they dislike, There's no doubt
- 5:57Speaker 1: about that. They'll give you a little bit of red
- 5:59Speaker 1: meat so that they can say, hey, look, we're not
- 6:02Speaker 1: completely inactive over here.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Here.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Look we got you a sacrificial lamb right here, when
- 6:09Speaker 1: in reality they should be digging deep and going as
- 6:12Speaker 1: far as the evidence takes them. Is that too much
- 6:16Speaker 1: to ask? I mean, that's what I've attempted to do
- 6:19Speaker 1: here in my own little small way. And I'm certainly
- 6:24Speaker 1: not some journalists. I certainly didn't go to school to
- 6:26Speaker 1: become a journalist or anything like that. But how about
- 6:29Speaker 1: a little integrity, how about a little bit of you know,
- 6:34Speaker 1: care for what you do, and a little bit of
- 6:37Speaker 1: honor in how you do it. Because we've seen from
- 6:43Speaker 1: the beginning, folks, the way the legacy media took this
- 6:46Speaker 1: story and made it what they wanted all at the
- 6:52Speaker 1: same time, never once given a damn about the people
- 6:56Speaker 1: who it really affected. As far as I know, I
- 7:04Speaker 1: never met Epstein. Former editor of French Vogue, Juliet Buck
- 7:07Speaker 1: said when her name appeared in the book. According to
- 7:10Speaker 1: The New York Times. I never went to any of
- 7:12Speaker 1: those famous parties in the biggest house in New York City.
- 7:16Speaker 1: And again, maybe that's true, right, Maybe some of these
- 7:19Speaker 1: people didn't have any connection to Jeffrey Epstein. Maybe some
- 7:22Speaker 1: of these people never hung out with Jeffrey Epstein. Did
- 7:26Speaker 1: you hang out with Glaine instead? Because you see, the
- 7:30Speaker 1: names just don't appear in these books magically, right, We
- 7:34Speaker 1: didn't have Sigfried and Roy show up and magically make
- 7:38Speaker 1: those books appear. They didn't make the names pop up
- 7:42Speaker 1: in those books. Somehow those addresses and those numbers were
- 7:47Speaker 1: put in there, right and logically thinking well, obviously they
- 7:54Speaker 1: were put in there by Maxwell or Epstein or someone
- 7:57Speaker 1: in their circle for some reason or another. Now years later,
- 8:04Speaker 1: a new book has reportedly surfaced with the names of
- 8:07Speaker 1: three hundred and forty nine people, a majority not listed
- 8:11Speaker 1: in the first address book, who seemingly have a connection
- 8:14Speaker 1: to the late Epstein. And look, I've always expected this
- 8:18Speaker 1: kind of thing to happen.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Right.
- 8:19Speaker 1: As the case moves forward, more information comes out. I
- 8:23Speaker 1: never really figured on what a source would be, right,
- 8:27Speaker 1: But how this book came into play is bananas. We're
- 8:31Speaker 1: gonna get to that a little later in this article,
- 8:33Speaker 1: But it's bananas how this book came into play and
- 8:38Speaker 1: how it's now part of the conversation moving forward from today.
- 8:46Speaker 1: The supposed new book contains the names, telephones, and addresses
- 8:49Speaker 1: of a slew of high profile individuals who had never
- 8:53Speaker 1: previously associated who had never been previously associated with Epstein.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Some of the names included in epstein Means alleged rolodex
- 9:01Speaker 1: are Malania Trump's bestie Suzanne Erca, who now goes by
- 9:06Speaker 1: Suzanne Johnson, married into the Johnson and Johnson family. And
- 9:11Speaker 1: let's remember Jeffrey Epstein, Well, didn't he have some involvement
- 9:16Speaker 1: with the Johnson's previously that we talked about? Oh yeah,
- 9:19Speaker 1: that's right, he sure did. And now, full disclosure, I'm
- 9:23Speaker 1: a New York Jets fan. The New York Jets are
- 9:25Speaker 1: owned by the Johnsons, so I'm not a huge fan
- 9:28Speaker 1: of them to begin with. Right, definitely an axe to grind,
- 9:32Speaker 1: considering the misery they caused me every football season. But
- 9:37Speaker 1: be that as it may, all kidding aside, is anybody
- 9:41Speaker 1: shocked that the Johnson's would be in the Epstein orbit,
- 9:46Speaker 1: would be hanging out with Jeffrey Epstein, would be friendly
- 9:49Speaker 1: with Jeffrey Epstein, and it should come as no shock
- 9:54Speaker 1: that Milania Trump's best friend her husband gets a cush
- 9:58Speaker 1: job as the ambassador to in Englund. I'm sure all
- 10:01Speaker 1: of that just happens in a vacuum, right, Cronyism to
- 10:07Speaker 1: the umph degree, Folks, every single administration we have ever had,
- 10:12Speaker 1: probably ever and I for one, have had enough. The
- 10:19Speaker 1: cronyism needs to end. Whoever is the most qualified person
- 10:22Speaker 1: for the position should get the position. Legendary actress Morgan
- 10:32Speaker 1: Fairchild and billionaire businessman John Cats Cats some matitis. Not
- 10:40Speaker 1: too familiar with that, that clown anyway. Again, it just
- 10:44Speaker 1: goes to show you the circles that Jeffrey Epstein was
- 10:47Speaker 1: running in. I mean, maybe my mind is too caught
- 10:51Speaker 1: up with the Johnson's here still to talk about uh
- 10:55Speaker 1: John Katzi over here, right, We'll have to get to
- 10:58Speaker 1: him at a at a different point, because I'm still
- 11:00Speaker 1: blown away by the connection to the Johnson's. And while
- 11:03Speaker 1: I you know, while we all know how deep the
- 11:06Speaker 1: connections run in these circles, it was just a matter
- 11:10Speaker 1: of time before the depth of the relationship between Epstein
- 11:17Speaker 1: and the Johnson's was revealed. I've had several people tell
- 11:23Speaker 1: me about the relationship between the Johnson's and Epstein. But
- 11:27Speaker 1: you know, it's hard to run that kind of stuff down, right,
- 11:31Speaker 1: It's hard to confirm or validate that sort of thing.
- 11:35Speaker 1: So in a case like this, I try to be
- 11:37Speaker 1: very careful of things that are hard to validate or
- 11:41Speaker 1: there's no documentation for them, right, because there's enough murk
- 11:45Speaker 1: in the water. Denise Anddeiku, a self described enigmatic rock chick,
- 11:54Speaker 1: claims to have found the book on the sidewalk in
- 11:56Speaker 1: the nineties while wandering down Fifth Avenue, reported Insider on
- 12:01Speaker 1: dayco said she picked up the book out of curiosity,
- 12:04Speaker 1: having no idea the treasure she had stumbled upon. All Right, so,
- 12:08Speaker 1: according to the person who found this book, she was
- 12:11Speaker 1: walking down Fifth Avenue and she stumbled upon this book,
- 12:16Speaker 1: picked it up, grabbed it, and took it with her
- 12:20Speaker 1: out of curiosity.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Right, Oh, what the hell is this book?
- 12:22Speaker 1: With a bunch of names in it might be a
- 12:24Speaker 1: fun read on the subway or down at Central Park,
- 12:27Speaker 1: or you know, whatever the hell she's yet into. So
- 12:30Speaker 1: I could see picking that up, tossing it in your pocket.
- 12:32Speaker 1: You know, nobody's claiming it or whatever.
- 12:34Speaker 2: You think.
- 12:34Speaker 1: It's just a discarded notebook. Somebody might have dropped it.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Maybe there's a name in it. Maybe you can call
- 12:39Speaker 1: somebody and say, hey, buddy, I got your notebook. So
- 12:43Speaker 1: I understand why she would pick it up. But imagine
- 12:45Speaker 1: this is what it is. You pick it up and
- 12:48Speaker 1: it happens to be one of Jeffrey Epstein's address books,
- 12:52Speaker 1: The Son of the Black Book. I mean, talk about wild, huh?
- 13:00Speaker 1: And what are the chances of this book ever seeing
- 13:03Speaker 1: the light of day after it was dropped like that,
- 13:05Speaker 1: her picking it up all these years later, and then
- 13:08Speaker 1: finally figuring out what she has? I mean, what are
- 13:11Speaker 1: the chances of that?
- 13:13Speaker 2: Right?
- 13:15Speaker 1: I wasn't smart enough to figure out it was Epstein's,
- 13:18Speaker 1: she told the outlet. She claimed that while that as
- 13:21Speaker 1: she was flipping through the artifact, she saw the names
- 13:24Speaker 1: and addresses of many members of Trump's family and inner circle,
- 13:28Speaker 1: and even lifestyles of the rich and famous host Robin Leach.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Well, we know that.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein was aspiring to be rather Robin Leache, and
- 13:38Speaker 1: we know that Donald Trump and his family certainly were
- 13:41Speaker 1: close to Epstein and Maxwell. You know, there'll be people
- 13:45Speaker 1: who are burning at the hair because that gets pointed out.
- 13:49Speaker 1: But guess what, I don't care. I really do not
- 13:53Speaker 1: care everybody involved. I don't know how much more clear
- 13:56Speaker 1: I need to be. Anybody involved with Jeffrey Epstein needs
- 13:59Speaker 1: to be outed. Anybody who gave him any kind of
- 14:02Speaker 1: cover or refurbish his reputation, they need to be out it.
- 14:06Speaker 1: And anybody who has lied about their relationship with Epstein,
- 14:09Speaker 1: they also need to be outed. So that definitely means
- 14:15Speaker 1: Donald Trump. On Dayku decided she would hang on to
- 14:22Speaker 1: the book for the odd New York City artifact that
- 14:25Speaker 1: it was after stowing it away in a box. More
- 14:28Speaker 1: than two decades later, she and a relative were cleaning
- 14:31Speaker 1: out his storage unit when they stumbled upon the book.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Upon looking through it and the relative recognizing the names
- 14:38Speaker 1: of Epstein's previously owned properties, on Dayku realized she was
- 14:42Speaker 1: sitting on a lost, buried treasure. All right, this story
- 14:46Speaker 1: is wild. So the friend was obviously up to date
- 14:49Speaker 1: on what's going on in the Epstein case. According to
- 14:52Speaker 1: the story, she knew something. And again, you know, the
- 14:57Speaker 1: whole story is wild, This whole thing. How she found it,
- 15:01Speaker 1: She was sitting on it for a few decades, then
- 15:03Speaker 1: it comes to light, her friend recognizes names, and then
- 15:07Speaker 1: it becomes part of the public conversation. I mean, look
- 15:11Speaker 1: at all of the things that would have to line
- 15:13Speaker 1: up for this to be right, for this to actually occur,
- 15:16Speaker 1: for this book to ever see.
- 15:18Speaker 2: The light of day.
- 15:19Speaker 1: A lot of things had to line up correctly for
- 15:21Speaker 1: that to happen. I mean, how easy would it have
- 15:24Speaker 1: been for her to throw it out at some point
- 15:25Speaker 1: over the decades, or to leave it in the storage unit.
- 15:30Speaker 1: But nope, that didn't happen. Right, And now here we
- 15:33Speaker 1: are a few months from Glene Maxwell's trial, smack dab
- 15:38Speaker 1: in the middle of this huge, sprawling, criminal conspiracy, and
- 15:44Speaker 1: the son of the Black Book shows up.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Okay, I'll take I'll.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Take one for the winning team for once. On Daco
- 15:54Speaker 1: claims she reached out to news outlets and TV hosts
- 15:57Speaker 1: such as John Oliver and MSNBC's Rachel Maddow about the book,
- 16:01Speaker 1: but never heard back. After a friend convinced her it
- 16:05Speaker 1: was worth money, hard up for cash, she decided to
- 16:07Speaker 1: sell a book on eBay. Now is it any shock
- 16:11Speaker 1: that Rachel Maddow didn't want anything to do with this
- 16:15Speaker 1: or that scrub? John Oliver. Course, it's not. They aren't
- 16:20Speaker 1: real journalists, folks, They don't. They're agitators. Okay, I know
- 16:24Speaker 1: some of you like them, and that's cool. I'm not
- 16:26Speaker 1: telling you not to listen to them or enjoy them
- 16:29Speaker 1: as entertainment. But if you think that what they're talking
- 16:32Speaker 1: about is the news, boy, you're in for a rude
- 16:37Speaker 1: awakening when the real world shows up, because Rachel Maddow
- 16:41Speaker 1: and John Oliver, all they're doing is pumping rage porn, folks,
- 16:46Speaker 1: no different than Sean Hannity or any of the other
- 16:50Speaker 1: I don't even know who the other knuckleheads are on
- 16:52Speaker 1: Fox News these days. What are this Tucker Carlson? Who
- 16:54Speaker 1: else is on there? I don't even know any of
- 16:56Speaker 1: the people on these news networks. That's how pathetic it's become.
- 17:01Speaker 1: But it shouldn't shock anybody that Rachel Maddow or John
- 17:06Speaker 1: Oliver wanted nothing to do with the story or with
- 17:09Speaker 1: the book. How many of their good friends were caught
- 17:13Speaker 1: up with Jeffrey Epstein.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Dcent.
- 17:17Speaker 1: I know, very cynical way to look at things, folks,
- 17:20Speaker 1: But unfortunately, one thing that has really happened throughout the
- 17:24Speaker 1: whole entire case, as we've been following it since October
- 17:28Speaker 1: of twenty nineteen. I have become more cynical than I
- 17:32Speaker 1: ever thought was even possible. And when it comes to
- 17:36Speaker 1: major news networks, when it comes to places like Fox
- 17:40Speaker 1: or MSNBC, and we're talking about people like Rachel Maddow,
- 17:45Speaker 1: there is zero chance that I believe anything that's coming
- 17:51Speaker 1: out of their mouths Now, if some of you out
- 17:55Speaker 1: there have a different opinion on that, and you want to,
- 17:57Speaker 1: you know, watch Rachel Maddow every night, and it's cool. Hey,
- 18:00Speaker 1: we could still be friends, right, you know how I
- 18:02Speaker 1: feel about that. We're allowed to have different opinions, folks.
- 18:06Speaker 2: That's okay.
- 18:07Speaker 1: I think that's healthy in fact, But anybody who's going
- 18:11Speaker 1: to try and have a debate with me that she's
- 18:13Speaker 1: an actual news person, well you better pack a lunch
- 18:17Speaker 1: because it's going to be a long day. Chris Alelli,
- 18:23Speaker 1: a failed congressional candidate in Vermont, stumbled across on on
- 18:27Speaker 1: Daco's listing one day as he was searching for Epstein's
- 18:31Speaker 1: previous Little Black Book. I was looking for the first
- 18:34Speaker 1: book and trying to create a network, a map of
- 18:36Speaker 1: who knew Epstein, he told the outlet, And I mean look,
- 18:40Speaker 1: I understand that, right. I feel that in my soul.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Everybody who is creating content on Epstein or Maxwell or
- 18:48Speaker 1: this situation has spent countless hours on the Internet, digging
- 18:53Speaker 1: through files, looking at the Black Book, you know, going
- 18:58Speaker 1: on wild goose chases, talking the sources that are absolutely
- 19:02Speaker 1: insane and not even really sources. Everybody has dealt with it.
- 19:06Speaker 1: So to score a little bit of gold here for
- 19:09Speaker 1: Nick Bryant, once again, kudos to him, Definitely kudos to him.
- 19:14Speaker 1: It's tough to chase this stuff down sometimes and then
- 19:17Speaker 1: when it falls into your lap like this modrown. At first,
- 19:24Speaker 1: Halali thought the listing was a scam, but after communicating
- 19:28Speaker 1: with Ondaco, he purchased it for four hundred and twenty
- 19:31Speaker 1: five dollars. Halali himself reached out to several journalists regarding
- 19:36Speaker 1: the book, but no one was biting until he talked
- 19:39Speaker 1: with Nick Bryant, the man responsible for shedding light on
- 19:43Speaker 1: Epstein's first Little Black Book, who took interest and worked
- 19:47Speaker 1: on revealing the names in the new address book. So again,
- 19:51Speaker 1: shout out to Nick Bryant for doing good work here,
- 19:54Speaker 1: one of you know, one of the handful of journalists
- 19:57Speaker 1: who were really looking to do good work here, not
- 20:00Speaker 1: looking to you know, a shove a political cross down
- 20:05Speaker 1: anyone's throat, following the evidence wherever it goes, raw and untainted,
- 20:12Speaker 1: and that is the proper way to manage this case
- 20:15Speaker 1: and to look at it. Look, we all have our
- 20:17Speaker 1: personal biases, come on, that's obvious, but you have to
- 20:21Speaker 1: stow that shit to the side when we're looking at
- 20:23Speaker 1: something as massive in scope as this, because there's no
- 20:29Speaker 1: good guys here, folks. There's no one riding in to
- 20:32Speaker 1: save the day. Not Joe Biden, not Merrick Garland, not
- 20:36Speaker 1: Donald Trump, not Bill Barr, not any of them. You know,
- 20:41Speaker 1: who can save this country? And I know it's gonna
- 20:44Speaker 1: sound cliche, but you can.
- 20:46Speaker 2: That's it.
- 20:47Speaker 1: None of these knuckleheads have the ability.
- 20:49Speaker 2: It is up to us.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Former forensic document examiner Dennis Ryan examined the alleged book
- 20:57Speaker 1: and concluded that it most likely dated to the nineteen
- 21:00Speaker 1: nineties and had not been altered. I'm confident that the
- 21:04Speaker 1: book is circa ninety five to two thousand, he said.
- 21:07Speaker 1: So again, it's not like there's some kind of elaborate
- 21:11Speaker 1: plot being hatched here, at least according to the forensics
- 21:14Speaker 1: that have been done already. So it's looking like this
- 21:17Speaker 1: book is legit and the whole story around it, how
- 21:20Speaker 1: it was found, how it was brought public on eBay,
- 21:24Speaker 1: bought for four hundred and twenty five bucks. Sure are
- 21:29Speaker 1: a lot of moving parts.
- 21:30Speaker 2: There, huh.
- 21:31Speaker 1: And it's almost like this book was meant to find
- 21:34Speaker 1: its way into the public view. Other notable names in
- 21:39Speaker 1: the newly found book said to be owned by Epstein are, oh,
- 21:43Speaker 1: this is a good one, Chris Cuomo's wife, Christina grievin
- 21:47Speaker 1: anyone shocked about that the Cuomos as a family might
- 21:52Speaker 1: as well be a criminal organization as well. All right,
- 21:55Speaker 1: maybe that's going a little far. Okay, that's a bit hyperbolic,
- 21:59Speaker 1: But let's be real here, folks. Are they trustworthy? You
- 22:03Speaker 1: trust Cuomo, either of them, any of them? And you
- 22:07Speaker 1: really think that the movers and shakers that the Cuomos
- 22:10Speaker 1: are weren't running around with the Epstein's of the world,
- 22:14Speaker 1: stop it. Of course they were. And now that we're
- 22:17Speaker 1: hearing about good old Chris Cuomo's wife here, Christina Grievan
- 22:21Speaker 1: hanging out with Epstein, how long before we had we
- 22:23Speaker 1: find out that Cuomo himself was breaking bread and billionaire
- 22:30Speaker 1: Carl Icon and ex president Donald Trump makes another appearance
- 22:34Speaker 1: in the Son of the Black Book. According to Insider,
- 22:38Speaker 1: Trump's name is reportedly accompanied by several phone numbers, including
- 22:42Speaker 1: two labeled Palm Beach home with the area code four
- 22:45Speaker 1: oh seven. Yeah, but Donald Trump had nothing to do
- 22:48Speaker 1: with Epstein. I love the people that try that shit
- 22:51Speaker 1: on me. That's a quick way to get laughed at. Honestly,
- 22:55Speaker 1: it's just like showing up and acting like the Clintons
- 22:57Speaker 1: had nothing to do with Epstein. You want to see
- 23:01Speaker 1: somebody who is using bias, who was carrying water from
- 23:05Speaker 1: one side or the other. Well, just listen to people
- 23:08Speaker 1: making excuses for Jeffrey Epstein's inner circle, for Jeffrey Epstein's
- 23:13Speaker 1: buddies like Donald Trump or Bill Clinton, and then my friends,
- 23:18Speaker 1: you will see who really is biased. Epstein died by
- 23:24Speaker 1: apparent suicide after he hanged himself in his jail cell
- 23:27Speaker 1: at a jail in Manhattan in August twenty nineteen, a
- 23:31Speaker 1: month after his arrest on sex trafficking charges. An indictment
- 23:35Speaker 1: alleged that Epstein had recruited dozens of minor girls to
- 23:38Speaker 1: engage in sex acts with him at his mansion in
- 23:41Speaker 1: Manhattan and his Palm Beach estate. And it's crazy because
- 23:46Speaker 1: we all know that it also happened to New Mexico, right,
- 23:49Speaker 1: and we also have heard about Michigan too, So while
- 23:53Speaker 1: we might only have the talk here about Florida and
- 23:56Speaker 1: New York, if you think for a minute I'm ever
- 23:59Speaker 1: going to let what happened in New Mexico fall by
- 24:02Speaker 1: the wayside, If you think that I'm ever going to
- 24:05Speaker 1: let them off the hook for that, you have not
- 24:08Speaker 1: been paying attention. And I don't think anybody should let
- 24:12Speaker 1: them off.
- 24:12Speaker 2: The hook for that.
- 24:14Speaker 1: And now all of these people showing up in the
- 24:18Speaker 1: sun of the Black Book, well, guess what. There's gonna
- 24:23Speaker 1: be some questions, and I hope you got some answers.
- 24:27Speaker 1: If you'd like to contact me, you can do that

- 24:49Speaker 2: The description box.
- 24:51Speaker 1: All right, This article is from Business insider dot com.
- 24:55Speaker 1: The headline is a behind the scenes look at how
- 24:57Speaker 1: inside reporters stumble the on Jeffrey Epstein's Second Black Book.
- 25:03Speaker 1: This article was authored by Grace O'Connell Joshua. And now
- 25:08Speaker 1: remember it's a question and answer session, So I'll read
- 25:12Speaker 1: the question and you know who fired off a question,
- 25:19Speaker 1: meaning the author, and then we'll state who is responding.
- 25:25Speaker 1: That way, we try and keep it all, you know,
- 25:27Speaker 1: tethered and nison in order and neat, so you can
- 25:30Speaker 1: follow along. Question Grace O'Connell, Joshua, how did you come
- 25:38Speaker 1: across Jeffrey Epstein's Second Little Black Book? Answer? Angela Wang.
- 25:43Speaker 1: The book was found by a woman named Denise on
- 25:46Speaker 1: dayco on a Manhattan sidewalk in the mid nineteen nineties.
- 25:50Speaker 1: She was a musician living in the East Village at
- 25:52Speaker 1: the time. In her telling, she was walking down Fifth
- 25:56Speaker 1: Avenue and happened to be looking down. Eventually, she put
- 25:59Speaker 1: it in storage and rediscovered it last year while cleaning
- 26:03Speaker 1: out her storage unit with a relative. The relative recognized
- 26:07Speaker 1: it has Epstein's who by then was infamous. So obviously
- 26:11Speaker 1: the relative has a little bit of an idea of
- 26:13Speaker 1: what's going on with the case. Somebody who's been following
- 26:16Speaker 1: it enough to know and savvy enough to know that
- 26:19Speaker 1: this could possibly belong to Jeffrey Epstein. On Daco reached
- 26:26Speaker 1: out to several media outlets, but didn't hear back. Yeah,
- 26:29Speaker 1: of course, we talked about a few of them, right.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Rachel Maddow another one of the knuckleheads at MSNBC garbage station.
- 26:38Speaker 1: By the way, doesn't shock me that Rachel mattout and
- 26:41Speaker 1: get involved. She doesn't like to get her feet dirty, right.
- 26:45Speaker 1: She doesn't get into the muck unless it's a political
- 26:47Speaker 1: situation and she can score political.
- 26:49Speaker 2: Points with the page. Here's some red meat.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Prah so tired of the rage porn folks. It's so ridiculous,
- 26:57Speaker 1: it's so counterproductive. She assumed the book was a copy
- 27:03Speaker 1: of Epstein's previously published a dress book and listed it
- 27:07Speaker 1: on eBay after some friends told her it might be
- 27:09Speaker 1: worth some money. It was purchased by a graduate student
- 27:13Speaker 1: in Vermont named Christopher Halali for four hundred and twenty
- 27:17Speaker 1: five dollars. Halali collects historical artifacts and, according to him,
- 27:22Speaker 1: was googling for Epstein's Little Black Book when he stumbled
- 27:25Speaker 1: upon the listing. He was skeptical when he reached out
- 27:28Speaker 1: to the cellar, but on Deeko's account struck him as
- 27:31Speaker 1: genuine and made him realize that it might be a
- 27:35Speaker 1: different address book altogether. So imagine how all of this
- 27:38Speaker 1: came into play. I mean, talk about coincidences and fate
- 27:43Speaker 1: and all of that jazz. This lady finds a black
- 27:47Speaker 1: book on the streets of New York in the nineties,
- 27:51Speaker 1: stashes it in her storage unit, and then eventually it
- 27:54Speaker 1: comes to light that this is Jeffrey Epstein's Black Book,
- 27:58Speaker 1: or an associate of Jeffrey Epstein's Black Book. I mean,
- 28:01Speaker 1: imagine how all the stars have to align for this
- 28:04Speaker 1: to take place and for this Black Book to still
- 28:06Speaker 1: be in existence all these years later. How much stuff
- 28:10Speaker 1: do you folks still have from the nineties lane around.
- 28:13Speaker 1: I don't have very much, that's for sure. Halali reached
- 28:20Speaker 1: out to several journalists, including Nick Bryant, who had published
- 28:24Speaker 1: Epstein's Little Black Book under Insider Investigations editor John Cook's
- 28:29Speaker 1: tenure at Gawker. Bryant reached out to John, who brought
- 28:33Speaker 1: us together to start investigating the book and its backstory,
- 28:38Speaker 1: So obviously another consortium. They came together. Nick Bryant, the
- 28:44Speaker 1: rest of the journalists working on this case came together
- 28:46Speaker 1: to make sure that this was vetted and looked at
- 28:52Speaker 1: and that it was something that was real, right O'Connell, Joshua.
- 29:02Speaker 1: So another question asked, what's new in the book that
- 29:05Speaker 1: you found? Wang? There are two hundred and twenty one
- 29:08Speaker 1: entries for people that don't appear in Epstein's previously known
- 29:12Speaker 1: address book, which dates to the early two thousands, near
- 29:15Speaker 1: late a decade later. Many of those people are prominent
- 29:19Speaker 1: figures in the political, financial, and cultural elite who had
- 29:23Speaker 1: never previously been connected to Epstein before. The book also
- 29:28Speaker 1: contains entries for more than one hundred people who appear
- 29:31Speaker 1: in both books, which help us trace known Epstein relationships
- 29:35Speaker 1: back to the nineties. So yeah, the cross referencing is huge.
- 29:39Speaker 1: If you're in this both of the both of these books,
- 29:42Speaker 1: how can you possibly expect anyone to believe that you
- 29:45Speaker 1: and Epstein weren't homies? How do you expect anyone to
- 29:48Speaker 1: believe that y'all warn't breaking bread and hanging out and
- 29:51Speaker 1: doing whatever it is sick disgusting pricks like you do?
- 29:56Speaker 1: Because I'm not believing it, I mean somebody else might.
- 29:59Speaker 1: I guess people might want to believe whatever they want
- 30:01Speaker 1: to believe. I'm not in the business of telling anyone
- 30:04Speaker 1: what the think or do, but personally, yeah, zero chance
- 30:09Speaker 1: I'm believing any of you scumbags that are.
- 30:11Speaker 2: In these books.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Overall, the book contains much fewer entries than its successor,
- 30:18Speaker 1: and the people listed are primarily located in the United States.
- 30:22Speaker 1: By contrast, Epstein's later address book contains entries from more
- 30:27Speaker 1: than fifteen hundred people, many of whom are located internationally,
- 30:31Speaker 1: with particular particular large networks in London and Paris. That
- 30:36Speaker 1: suggests that the decades between about nineteen ninety five and
- 30:40Speaker 1: about two thousand and five was significant in widening of
- 30:43Speaker 1: Epstein's orbit, or could have just had two separate books
- 30:48Speaker 1: right ran out of room and won put in the other. Look,
- 30:52Speaker 1: there's no doubt that his orbit expanded monstrously, no doubt
- 30:58Speaker 1: about that at all. But this guy's abuse obviously goes
- 31:03Speaker 1: all the way back to the seventies. That's why when
- 31:05Speaker 1: I say decades of abuse, I don't just mean the
- 31:08Speaker 1: early two thousands. I'm talking four or five decades at
- 31:11Speaker 1: this point, folks, pretty much this guy's whole life. That's
- 31:17Speaker 1: because this isn't learned behavior. He was born screwed up
- 31:20Speaker 1: with his wires crossed. This dude was born a sick,
- 31:24Speaker 1: disgusting animal. O'Connell, Joshua, How did you determine that this
- 31:31Speaker 1: book actually belonged to Epstein? Answer by Keenan Trotter, now
- 31:36Speaker 1: one of the other authors. The tricky thing about this
- 31:39Speaker 1: story is that in the absence of time travel, or
- 31:44Speaker 1: excuse me, in the absence of time or travel, there
- 31:46Speaker 1: is no consistent or reliable method for determining whether a
- 31:50Speaker 1: particular object belonged to a particular person. But as we
- 31:55Speaker 1: explain in the story, the book has a number of
- 31:58Speaker 1: properties that strongly suggest this book did in fact belong
- 32:02Speaker 1: to Epstein or one of his assistants in the nineteen nineties.
- 32:07Speaker 1: And with all of these names, addresses and all of
- 32:11Speaker 1: that stuff, it's rather obvious that this is Jeffrey Epstein's
- 32:16Speaker 1: address book, right, or one of his associates, unless, of course,
- 32:19Speaker 1: it is some kind of top end forgery or fake
- 32:24Speaker 1: which you know, Look, I'm not somebody who is trained
- 32:28Speaker 1: and what's real or what's not as far as documentation goes,
- 32:31Speaker 1: So I'll leave it to the experts that they employed
- 32:33Speaker 1: here and then paneled here. But you know, That's definitely
- 32:37Speaker 1: something that came to my mind right away when I.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Heard about this black book. Is it real?
- 32:41Speaker 1: Could it be something that is falsified? Did Team Maxwell
- 32:45Speaker 1: Team Epstein put this piece into play onto the chessboard
- 32:48Speaker 1: out a certain You know, again, I'm probably giving them
- 32:52Speaker 1: much too much credit for being slick, but I'm certainly
- 32:57Speaker 1: not going to underestimate the people that we're dealing with here.
- 33:01Speaker 1: One thing you never want to do is underestimate people
- 33:04Speaker 1: like this.
- 33:08Speaker 2: Wang.
- 33:08Speaker 1: To rule out the possibility that the book was forger altered,
- 33:12Speaker 1: we hired a forensic document examiner to study the book.
- 33:15Speaker 1: The document examiner determined that the book dates between nineteen
- 33:19Speaker 1: ninety five and two thousand. For some reason, I just
- 33:22Speaker 1: had a vision of the show Stars when I was
- 33:26Speaker 1: reading that, and it's like they show up with the
- 33:30Speaker 1: book there and they're asking Rick. They're like, so is
- 33:32Speaker 1: this book legit? Is this really Epstein's book? And the
- 33:36Speaker 1: dudes at Pond Stars are like, you know, I don't know,
- 33:38Speaker 1: but I got an expert for that. That's the scenario
- 33:42Speaker 1: I just had playing out when they're talking about this
- 33:45Speaker 1: forensic document examiner. We also scrutinize the book's entries. It
- 33:53Speaker 1: contains comprehensive entries for all of Epstein's estates, consistent with
- 33:57Speaker 1: the properties he owned in the mid nineties, with details
- 34:00Speaker 1: down to alarm codes and internet modem lines. So that's significant,
- 34:04Speaker 1: right as far as proving that this book is real
- 34:10Speaker 1: and not altered or fake or whatever. With all of
- 34:12Speaker 1: that documentation, I'm sure that goes a long way to
- 34:16Speaker 1: solidifying the fact that this book actually belonged to someone
- 34:20Speaker 1: in Epstein's atmosphere, or in fact Epstein himself just come.
- 34:28Speaker 1: His Paris apartment, which he purchased in the early two thousands,
- 34:31Speaker 1: isn't there. Neither is his private island, Little Saint James,
- 34:35Speaker 1: which he acquired in nineteen ninety eight. Although the book
- 34:38Speaker 1: does contain the contact information for the wife of the
- 34:41Speaker 1: man from whom Epstein purchased the island. The book also
- 34:45Speaker 1: contains detailed entries for Epstein's relatives whose addresses matched residences
- 34:50Speaker 1: we found in public records searches. Yeah, that's a that's
- 34:55Speaker 1: a little shifty there. I don't think i'd be publishing
- 34:57Speaker 1: anybody's address. Honestly, there's a lot of unhinged people out there,
- 35:02Speaker 1: and a lot of people who have let a reality
- 35:07Speaker 1: escape them. So you got to be really careful when
- 35:11Speaker 1: you're publishing any kind of documentation about who people are,
- 35:14Speaker 1: where they live, or anything like that, because we're in
- 35:18Speaker 1: an environment where people take things too far a lot
- 35:21Speaker 1: of times, folks. Not everybody is a right thinking person
- 35:24Speaker 1: like you. Not everybody as somebody who can, you know,
- 35:30Speaker 1: harness their emotions and not get carried away. You know,
- 35:33Speaker 1: there's one thing. It's one thing to rant and rave
- 35:36Speaker 1: and to you know, partake in civil disobedience. But when
- 35:41Speaker 1: you start getting involved in any sort of violence or
- 35:43Speaker 1: criminal behavior or you know, destroying property or anything like that,
- 35:48Speaker 1: that's where you and I diverge and buy fur kate
- 35:51Speaker 1: because I'm not down with any of that shit. That's
- 35:53Speaker 1: not how things get done. Things get done by civil
- 35:56Speaker 1: disobedience by a populace that will not be cal by
- 36:00Speaker 1: a militaristic police department or government. They want you to
- 36:04Speaker 1: fight back, they want you to be violent, they want
- 36:07Speaker 1: you to wild the fuck out.
- 36:08Speaker 2: That's what they.
- 36:09Speaker 1: Want, so don't give it to them. We also divided
- 36:16Speaker 1: up calls to prominent people listed in the book who
- 36:19Speaker 1: had never previously been connected with Epstein before. More than
- 36:22Speaker 1: a dozen told us on the record that they had
- 36:24Speaker 1: met Epstein in the nineties. Megan Morris. I called people
- 36:29Speaker 1: I knew who appeared in the book without referencing the
- 36:31Speaker 1: books October nineteen ninety seven annotation. I asked them about
- 36:35Speaker 1: their valid time period for their addresses and numbers. Multiple
- 36:39Speaker 1: sources told me their information was correct only between nineteen
- 36:42Speaker 1: ninety five and two thousand, which served as one, but
- 36:46Speaker 1: certainly not the only validation point. So when you have
- 36:50Speaker 1: something like this and you're trying to make sure it's valid,
- 36:53Speaker 1: you're trying to make sure it's not a fugazi. You
- 36:56Speaker 1: got to go through all of the methods and the
- 36:58Speaker 1: steps right and the timeline and make sure everything lines up.
- 37:03Speaker 1: To explain that Epstein's assistance would contact them irregularly to
- 37:07Speaker 1: update their contact information throughout the years.
- 37:11Speaker 2: My sources verified.
- 37:12Speaker 1: Some of the entries that refer to information that doesn't
- 37:15Speaker 1: appear in any public records, including numbers for retire technology
- 37:19Speaker 1: like carphones and pagers. God damn imagine, I remember I
- 37:24Speaker 1: had a pager. Boy, I'll tell you what I thought.
- 37:26Speaker 1: I was king of the world. I had this real
- 37:27Speaker 1: cool ass purple one that my grandfather had bought me.
- 37:30Speaker 1: You know, state of the art back in the day,
- 37:32Speaker 1: had all of the scores for the baseball, football, hockey
- 37:36Speaker 1: games that rolled across it. I was the king of
- 37:38Speaker 1: the world with that thing. Yeah that's right, folks, I know,
- 37:41Speaker 1: I know, sixteen years old and already betting on sports.
- 37:44Speaker 1: I'm Italian, all right, I get a pass, got me
- 37:47Speaker 1: some flag away. But I can't even imagine having a
- 37:53Speaker 1: pager anymore. Imagine remember how inconvenient it was for those
- 37:56Speaker 1: of you who were old enough to have one. I
- 37:58Speaker 1: would have to like, stop, you jump out, go to
- 38:00Speaker 1: a payphone. Hey, you got some quarters, got to make
- 38:03Speaker 1: your phone call. Call somebody back. I can't even imagine
- 38:07Speaker 1: not having a cell phone anymore, O'Connell, Joshua, How did
- 38:13Speaker 1: you go about contacting people in the book? Answered by Wang,
- 38:17Speaker 1: we attempted to reach four dozen people who struck us
- 38:20Speaker 1: as notable and who had never publicly been connected to
- 38:23Speaker 1: Epstein before. We wanted to better understand what their relationships
- 38:27Speaker 1: with Epstein were like, if any, and to verify the
- 38:31Speaker 1: information in the book. So that's the right way to
- 38:34Speaker 1: go about it, right, You start calling numbers in the
- 38:36Speaker 1: book and you do the legwork. If you're gonna be
- 38:38Speaker 1: an investigative journalist. If you're gonna be somebody who's on
- 38:41Speaker 1: the case, you're gonna have to do the legwork. And
- 38:44Speaker 1: that's what's going on here. And the Nick Bryant is
- 38:47Speaker 1: certainly somebody that is willing to do the legwork. And
- 38:51Speaker 1: he has this whole other team assembled, and it sure
- 38:53Speaker 1: looks like they covered all of their bases, folks, And
- 38:56Speaker 1: they were very, very thorough when it came to making
- 39:01Speaker 1: sure that this document's legit. Although I was met with
- 39:06Speaker 1: suspicion and reluctance more often than not, I was surprised
- 39:10Speaker 1: that several people I called were very open about crossing
- 39:13Speaker 1: paths with Epstein, though they all emphasized that they barely
- 39:17Speaker 1: knew him. Of course, right confirm but distance. Oh yeah,
- 39:21Speaker 1: I knew Epstein back in the day. We used to
- 39:22Speaker 1: go over to the Egg and I and have some breakfast.
- 39:25Speaker 2: But I don't know him.
- 39:26Speaker 1: No, what you don't know him?
- 39:27Speaker 2: Why you went his address book? Bro?
- 39:29Speaker 1: What do you mean you don't know him? A lot
- 39:33Speaker 1: of these smarmy sons of bitches in business or politics,
- 39:37Speaker 1: they've been able to get over with that shit. Oh
- 39:39Speaker 1: I hardly know Jeffrey Upstain, Yeah, Okay, sure you do, Morris.
- 39:44Speaker 1: My phone calls ranged from immediate hang ups to long conversations.
- 39:48Speaker 1: Many people, often through their legal or public relations representatives,
- 39:52Speaker 1: declined to comment. I was surprised that some big finance
- 39:56Speaker 1: names did not seek to explain their relationship with Epstein,
- 39:59Speaker 1: particularly in light of the fallout for Epstein Link Apollo
- 40:02Speaker 1: co founder Leon Black, and to a lesser extent, a
- 40:06Speaker 1: hedge fund billionaire Glenn Dubin. Lesser extent only because the
- 40:10Speaker 1: media has made it to a lesser extent, We've been
- 40:13Speaker 1: pounding them drums forever here on this podcast. Glenn Duben
- 40:16Speaker 1: is definitely in my crosshairs. Every Let's be very clear,
- 40:21Speaker 1: every single person named by Virginia who has taken place,
- 40:24Speaker 1: took part in abusing her, is directly in my crosshairs.
- 40:27Speaker 2: And I believe.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Committed the acts that they're being alleged to commit. I
- 40:34Speaker 1: believe Virginia's story. How about that one hundred percent hook line?
- 40:37Speaker 1: Sinker all of it. So run home and tell David
- 40:40Speaker 1: Oscar Marcus that a representative for TPG co founder David Bonderman,
- 40:49Speaker 1: for example, declined to comment on the entry for the
- 40:52Speaker 1: private equity titan who has six phone in fax numbers listed,
- 40:56Speaker 1: including for his second home. Yeah, as if David Bonderman's
- 40:59Speaker 1: going to ant to you, you pleabs, How dare you
- 41:02Speaker 1: I'm a hedge fund manager as he dives off the
- 41:09Speaker 1: top rope into his bajillion dollars of gold coins. What
- 41:14Speaker 1: do you think these people believe they owe you an explanation?
- 41:18Speaker 1: You think these people feel that they should be held
- 41:21Speaker 1: to the same level of justice that you or I
- 41:24Speaker 1: are held to.
- 41:25Speaker 2: Stop it.
- 41:28Speaker 1: I was also surprised by people who denied ever knowing Epstein.
- 41:32Speaker 1: Perhaps a more believable claim for those who just had
- 41:35Speaker 1: an office address or phone listed, then for those whose
- 41:38Speaker 1: entries included contact information from multiple vacation homes, car phones,
- 41:43Speaker 1: and family members.
- 41:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I highly.
- 41:45Speaker 1: Doubt Glene Maxwell and the team just started putting numbers
- 41:49Speaker 1: into these books. What do they just go to the
- 41:51Speaker 1: Yellow Pages, open it up and get all of the
- 41:54Speaker 1: elites of the world's phone numbers and put them in
- 41:57Speaker 1: this book.
- 41:58Speaker 2: Stop it.
- 41:58Speaker 1: They were in this book because they were all on contact.
- 42:00Speaker 1: They all ran in the same circles. Like I always say,
- 42:04Speaker 1: at the very least folks, fellow travelers, people who did
- 42:10Speaker 1: not speak to me. People who did speak to me
- 42:12Speaker 1: said they had largely weak connections with Epstein and recounted
- 42:15Speaker 1: anecdotes that showed how Epstein's ties proliferated casually, like New
- 42:20Speaker 1: York billionaire John Castematis, who said he happened to meet
- 42:25Speaker 1: Epstein while in a friend's office. You know, it was
- 42:27Speaker 1: always so casual, right, always so nonchalant. Oh, I happened
- 42:30Speaker 1: to run into Epstein while I was getting breakfast stop.
- 42:34Speaker 1: It sure are a lot of coincidences that they want
- 42:38Speaker 1: us to believe O'Connell, Joshua. How long did it take
- 42:43Speaker 1: to finish your reporting on this story? Wang? The reporting
- 42:47Speaker 1: process took about six months from start to finish. I
- 42:50Speaker 1: started by pulling all of the text out of the
- 42:52Speaker 1: scan copy of the book and organizing the book's entries
- 42:56Speaker 1: into a spreadsheet. Because we had tabulated Epstein's I are
- 43:00Speaker 1: known Little Black Book, I was able to programmatically compare
- 43:04Speaker 1: all the names between the two rolodexes, isolating those that
- 43:08Speaker 1: were unique as well as those that appeared in both books.
- 43:12Speaker 1: That allowed my colleagues to start the process of identifying
- 43:15Speaker 1: notable figures and determining who to reach out to. Boy
- 43:19Speaker 1: isn't technology grand whip yourself up a spreadsheet here and
- 43:23Speaker 1: have everything rocking and rolling in the right direction, as
- 43:26Speaker 1: opposed to the old days when you had to do
- 43:27Speaker 1: that all you know by hand, have like a punch
- 43:31Speaker 1: chart on the wall like a maniac and shit. In
- 43:35Speaker 1: March I drove to Vermont alongside a cinematographer from our
- 43:39Speaker 1: video team to interview Chris Halali and to retrieve the
- 43:42Speaker 1: address book in person. We then referred it to the
- 43:45Speaker 1: forensic document examiner, whose investigation took about a month. So
- 43:51Speaker 1: they rolled right up there, got the book, took it back,
- 43:54Speaker 1: gave it to this forensic analysis person, and that person
- 43:59Speaker 1: did their work and said, look, this is a legit
- 44:02Speaker 1: document and this has not been forged O'Connell, Joshua. What
- 44:08Speaker 1: were the challenges of reporting out a story like this Trotter?
- 44:12Speaker 1: One challenge revolved around the planning process, like how exactly
- 44:16Speaker 1: are we going to report this story? What sort of
- 44:19Speaker 1: things would provide some degree of confidence about the book's providence,
- 44:23Speaker 1: How much can we learn about this book in the
- 44:25Speaker 1: first place. Certain rabbit holes were another challenge. For example,
- 44:30Speaker 1: it took several weeks and a lot of phone calls
- 44:32Speaker 1: to figure out when Rico stopped selling the specific type
- 44:35Speaker 1: of book binding equipment that was used to create the book.
- 44:39Speaker 1: Rico actually had to perform their own internal research involving
- 44:43Speaker 1: employees in the United States, Europe, and Japan, and from
- 44:47Speaker 1: my experience with Rico, that must have taken forever. Can't
- 44:50Speaker 1: even get a technician to come out and fix my
- 44:52Speaker 1: printer at work. Pain in the ass. These people are
- 44:57Speaker 1: morris just the mention of Jeffrey Epstein' out. Lawyers and
- 45:00Speaker 1: other representatives keen to protect their wealthy clients' reputations. Nobody
- 45:05Speaker 1: cares go ahead and try and harvest and protect your
- 45:09Speaker 1: client's reputations because guess what we're coming. We're coming, and
- 45:14Speaker 1: there's nothing anybody can do to stop this train that
- 45:17Speaker 1: has left the station. November is coming up quickly, folks,
- 45:22Speaker 1: very quickly. Some of those emissaries place significant pressure on
- 45:29Speaker 1: us to avoid mentioning their clients, will also declining to
- 45:32Speaker 1: explain on the record how those people knew Epstein. Despite
- 45:36Speaker 1: the opposition, we prioritize the public's interest in knowing with
- 45:39Speaker 1: whom Epstein associated. Meanwhile, for less famous individuals, we weigh
- 45:45Speaker 1: the risks of public scrutiny with the need for a
- 45:47Speaker 1: fuller accounting of Epstein's network. Yeah, I think that there
- 45:51Speaker 1: is definitely a balancing act that has to be performed, right.
- 45:57Speaker 1: You got to be careful who you're outing here and
- 45:59Speaker 1: who you're you know, talking about. So I usually use
- 46:02Speaker 1: the court documents and survivor's own accounts for verification on
- 46:08Speaker 1: people I discuss here on the podcast. Now, other people
- 46:11Speaker 1: can do stuff differently. That's up to them. Like I
- 46:13Speaker 1: always say, I'm only responsible for what happens here on
- 46:16Speaker 1: this podcast and what comes out of my fat mouth.
- 46:21Speaker 1: I don't speak for anybody else, and most certainly nobody
- 46:25Speaker 1: speaks for me. Oconnell, Joshua. How important is this additional
- 46:32Speaker 1: black book and helping us understand Epstein and his world?
- 46:36Speaker 2: Morris?
- 46:37Speaker 1: The book offers a snapshot of Epstein's network in the nineties,
- 46:40Speaker 1: helping us trace many more of his associations with the
- 46:43Speaker 1: rich and influential. The anecdotes we collected also confirm what
- 46:47Speaker 1: we've previously learned about Epstein, like his strength in devising
- 46:51Speaker 1: creative tax structures and his seemingly fleeting relationships with some
- 46:56Speaker 1: of the global elite as he built his network. That's
- 46:59Speaker 1: a nice way of saying money laundering and tax evasion,
- 47:02Speaker 1: devising creative tax structures. Yeah, he was money laundering, Okay,
- 47:07Speaker 1: point blank period. I've said that from the beginning. I
- 47:10Speaker 1: told you guys what was going on here. Go all
- 47:13Speaker 1: the way back to the first few episodes of this
- 47:15Speaker 1: podcast in twenty nineteen, and you'll see one of the
- 47:19Speaker 1: first episodes was Rico.
- 47:20Speaker 2: For God's sakes, the.
- 47:23Speaker 1: Whole entire operation and everybody connected, all of these rich
- 47:27Speaker 1: and powerful people could all be dragged into this if
- 47:30Speaker 1: this was a Rico case. So that's why they're not
- 47:33Speaker 1: doing it. I wanted to give the government the benefit
- 47:36Speaker 1: of the doubt after they arrested Maxwell, that we were
- 47:39Speaker 1: going to see some Rico charges. Oh, we got the
- 47:41Speaker 1: superseded indictment, but not even the Man Act. So forgive
- 47:47Speaker 1: me if I have no faith in Maureen Comy. Epstein's
- 47:53Speaker 1: address book frustratingly raises more questions than it answers about
- 47:57Speaker 1: the specifics of many of his associations, but it gives
- 48:01Speaker 1: us another tool as we chip away at Epstein's web
- 48:04Speaker 1: of social, philanthropic and business ties that propelled his assent.
- 48:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:10Speaker 1: Definitely foundation blocks, right, that's what we're doing here, We're
- 48:13Speaker 1: building the foundation. Try not to get ahead of ourselves.
- 48:17Speaker 1: We'll build up this foundation, get it nice and strong,
- 48:20Speaker 1: and then let them try and break it right, Let
- 48:26Speaker 1: them try and pitch their bullshit narrative when all of
- 48:29Speaker 1: the facts are available. It's easy to pitch a narrative
- 48:32Speaker 1: when everything's sealed, everything's under court order, and the public
- 48:36Speaker 1: can't know about the things that occurred. Well, the cat's
- 48:39Speaker 1: out of the bag, the genies out of the bottle,
- 48:42Speaker 1: Pandora's box has been opened, and nothing's going back in.
- 48:46Speaker 1: And the rich, the elite and all of their minions
- 48:50Speaker 1: are scared shitless. Just look how they've pumped the divisiveness
- 48:54Speaker 1: into overdrive.
- 49:03Speaker 2: Trotter.
- 49:04Speaker 1: It might be too early to say the book is
- 49:06Speaker 1: one piece, or maybe several related pieces, of a still
- 49:09Speaker 1: unfinished puzzle, and so much reporting on Epstein, including this effort,
- 49:14Speaker 1: builds on the work of others. We analyze the book
- 49:17Speaker 1: and its contents to the best of our ability, but
- 49:19Speaker 1: we can't necessarily anticipate what others will notice, what names
- 49:23Speaker 1: they might recognize. If publishing this book accomplishes anything, I
- 49:27Speaker 1: hope it advances the broader effort across both news media
- 49:31Speaker 1: and civil society to solve the remaining mysteries around Epstein. Well,
- 49:38Speaker 1: I hear you there, and at least they admit that
- 49:40Speaker 1: their work is building on top of what others have
- 49:42Speaker 1: already put out there. Look, this road was paved a
- 49:46Speaker 1: very long time ago. A lot of people have been
- 49:49Speaker 1: talking about Epstein and ringing the bells for a very
- 49:52Speaker 1: long time. And if the legacy media would just do
- 49:57Speaker 1: their job and do it from a unbiased perspective and
- 50:01Speaker 1: not worry about the political ramifications of their reporting, we'd
- 50:05Speaker 1: be a lot further along, and I truly believe there
- 50:08Speaker 1: would be a lot more indictments. But unfortunately, our ruling class,
- 50:13Speaker 1: the so called elite, and their symbiotic pals over there
- 50:17Speaker 1: in the legacy media have other ideas. They have other plans,
- 50:22Speaker 1: But guess what, so did Hans Gruber before John McClain
- 50:28Speaker 1: showed up. If you'd like to contact me, you can
