- 1:28Speaker 8: Are empty bottles, I want to be clear about that yet,
- 1:31Speaker 8: but it'll be melted down and turned into a jacket.
- 1:33Speaker 8: It's not a jacket that's made out of a whole
- 1:35Speaker 8: bunch of bottles that have been stitched together. That would
- 1:37Speaker 8: be ludicrous. That'd be the kind of thing that someone
- 1:39Speaker 8: would wear with woman's boots.
- 1:42Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, we're going earlier. We're going all a bit
- 1:47Speaker 4: of a news update on that later on in the show.

- 2:37Speaker 8: say guest guess guests? Oh, okay, have you heard of superstars?
- 2:41Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 2:43Speaker 8: I don't actually know how how much detail we're allowed
- 2:46Speaker 8: to go into, but we've got some of the biggest
- 2:49Speaker 8: names in television. Yeah in New.
- 2:52Speaker 6: Zealand, right, okay, so wow in the biggest names in television.
- 2:57Speaker 8: Yeah in New Zealand.
- 2:58Speaker 7: Yeah, on New Zealand television. Okay, yeah, yeah.
- 3:02Speaker 5: Massive, it's massive.
- 3:04Speaker 4: Fellows ste like Kings of Leon, Jason, I love Kings
- 3:07Speaker 4: of Leon.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Turn it up the Hdarchy Big Show week days from
- 3:12Speaker 1: four on Radio hod Ike.
- 3:13Speaker 4: Indeed, cheer Fellas Alive from the top of the sky
- 3:20Speaker 4: tower for Pow Bowl Cancer Awareness Day. Now listen, Fellas.
- 3:24Speaker 4: I know we were chatting earlier. You you and Keesy
- 3:27Speaker 4: Mike were seeing this as an opportunity for the Big
- 3:30Speaker 4: Show to bring back shat chat.
- 3:31Speaker 8: Well, that's right. We were in it past our boss,
- 3:34Speaker 8: mad Dog Gossie Toddy, and he was anti itp You
- 3:38Speaker 8: remember we were running shat chat for probably three and
- 3:41Speaker 8: a half to four years.
- 3:42Speaker 5: Yeah, we were.
- 3:43Speaker 8: Every single day We'd talk about chats and one one
- 3:46Speaker 8: sort of shape or another. And then it got to
- 3:50Speaker 8: the point where Mad Dog Aussie Toddy actually banned us
- 3:54Speaker 8: from doing shat chat any longer.
- 3:56Speaker 6: I can't imagine why, you know, because it was obviously
- 3:58Speaker 6: there a lot of interaction from the audience. People were
- 4:01Speaker 6: sending in their favorite you know, sort of shat related.
- 4:03Speaker 4: Stories, which was great stuff.
- 4:05Speaker 7: One hundred percent.
- 4:09Speaker 6: Just a reminder we are here for bow cancer Awareness Month.
- 4:12Speaker 7: It's just not just one day, it's.
- 4:14Speaker 6: A whole month, and we're here at the top of
- 4:16Speaker 6: the sky Tower raising funds. If you'd like to donate
- 4:19Speaker 6: to the cause, text lou to three four eight three.
- 4:23Speaker 6: Because the symptoms fellas of court early.
- 4:26Speaker 8: Yeah, what are some of the symptoms? Gusey do you know?
- 4:29Speaker 7: Thanks for asking Mogi m Blood in your.
- 4:33Speaker 8: Pooh I was going to say that would have been
- 4:34Speaker 8: number one for me. Yes, blood in my poose now
- 4:37Speaker 8: I've had I've had a bloody stool. No, I think
- 4:41Speaker 8: it was more. And I don't want to get graphic
- 4:44Speaker 8: on the radio, but we are talking about the symptoms
- 4:46Speaker 8: of bell cancer. So I think I'm allowed to blood
- 4:49Speaker 8: on the tissue, yes, yes, now, But I don't know
- 4:53Speaker 8: if it was from having benders, right, Okay, you know
- 4:56Speaker 8: what I mean. I don't think it was. The blood
- 4:58Speaker 8: wasn't in the stool, do you know? Yeah, but I
- 5:03Speaker 8: don't also don't know how that's happened.
- 5:05Speaker 4: Well, I was talking about the same thing this morning, Maggie.
- 5:08Speaker 4: I had the same thing. I actually did have blood
- 5:11Speaker 4: in the in the bowl thereafter the bowel movement. I
- 5:13Speaker 4: was like, oh, that can't be good, thought I And
- 5:17Speaker 4: in classic Cordy J's style, I did nothing about it
- 5:20Speaker 4: for two weeks, And no I didn't. I actually went
- 5:24Speaker 4: to the doctor. Oh went, okay, enough's enough. I've got
- 5:26Speaker 4: to go and get this sorted out. One way or
- 5:28Speaker 4: the other. Turned out to be a hemorrhoid.
- 5:30Speaker 8: Oh well done.
- 5:31Speaker 4: Yeah, so you see that was good news. But the
- 5:33Speaker 4: whole point that we're trying to make here is get
- 5:35Speaker 4: in there if you've shown showing any of the signs
- 5:38Speaker 4: or symptoms and get it sorted out.
- 5:41Speaker 6: Ongoing tummy pain, cramping, bloating or discomfort.
- 5:45Speaker 8: I haven't got that.
- 5:46Speaker 7: A lump or swelling in your tummy.
- 5:48Speaker 4: Well, I've got my alti belly button. But that's more
- 5:51Speaker 4: of a.
- 5:53Speaker 8: It's a heenus disfigurement. That's a hemorrhage.
- 5:55Speaker 6: Actually, yeah, changes in bowel habits.
- 5:59Speaker 7: So your frequent see you firmness, that sort of thing, I.
- 6:01Speaker 8: Sort of eight nine times a day.
- 6:03Speaker 7: You are, You're all over the show.
- 6:04Speaker 4: You're extraordinary, whereas I am your standard three solid tubes
- 6:08Speaker 4: the morning.
- 6:09Speaker 8: Can I just say, though, I'm I'm not dealing with
- 6:12Speaker 8: the normal what I would regarded as a normal movement.
- 6:15Speaker 8: I'm sort of eke out, you know, a couple of
- 6:17Speaker 8: little beads at a time, right, like a rabbit, sort
- 6:21Speaker 8: of like a rabbit or sheep.
- 6:22Speaker 6: Yeah, cool, unexplained tiredness or weight loss without trying. These
- 6:27Speaker 6: are all symptoms day and lou dot codo is in
- 6:29Speaker 6: the full list is up there, And of course, if
- 6:31Speaker 6: you'd like to support the cause ticks lou to three
- 6:34Speaker 6: four eight three.
- 6:36Speaker 8: Is there a limit to how many times I can text?
- 6:39Speaker 7: No? No, I would I wouldn't have thought.
- 6:41Speaker 6: So okay, yes, felfree to text lou to three four
- 6:43Speaker 6: eight three as many times as you want.
- 6:45Speaker 8: Okay.
- 6:45Speaker 7: I believe it just sends you a length or to donate.
- 6:47Speaker 8: Okay, yeah it does, so I did that just earlier.
- 6:51Speaker 4: So get in there and support the cause New Zealand.
- 6:55Speaker 4: It's get into some tune, shall we.
- 6:56Speaker 1: How about the Strokes the whole Arching Big Show with Jason,
- 7:02Speaker 1: Mike and Keyzy tune in week days and four on
- 7:04Speaker 1: Radio Hodarchy.
- 7:05Speaker 4: Is indeed the red Hot Chili Peppers here on the
- 7:09Speaker 4: Radio Hodarchy Big Show this blustery Thursday afternoon, live from
- 7:14Speaker 4: atop the sky Tower. And fellas, I've got to be
- 7:16Speaker 4: honest with you, I'm a little bit shagged at the moment.
- 7:19Speaker 4: Oh yes, you remember, of course our chat about old
- 7:22Speaker 4: Hordy Jay doing the stairs all the steers of the
- 7:25Speaker 4: sky Tower. I believe it's fifty one?
- 7:27Speaker 9: Is it?
- 7:27Speaker 8: For fifty one the roughly eleven hundred individual steps?
- 7:32Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 7:34Speaker 5: So the good news is I'm halfway there.
- 7:38Speaker 7: So I remember you're here in the room with us now.
- 7:40Speaker 4: Yeah, Well, that's what I mean. I had to break
- 7:41Speaker 4: off to come and do the show. So I'm halfway there.
- 7:45Speaker 6: When you see you're halfway, because you can't sort of
- 7:47Speaker 6: go halfway and then hop into an elevator because it's
- 7:50Speaker 6: just steers all the way down and up. Yes, yes,
- 7:52Speaker 6: so you got halfway.
- 7:54Speaker 4: Yeah, and then it was a real bast because I
- 7:55Speaker 4: had to walk up the stairs again. So an actual fact,
- 7:58Speaker 4: I've probably done all fifty one floors.
- 8:01Speaker 8: Well, I disagree, because technically what you've done is you've
- 8:04Speaker 8: gone down the stairs and then sort of like an
- 8:07Speaker 8: old school adometer, by going back up the stairs, you've
- 8:10Speaker 8: minused all those off and it's just.
- 8:12Speaker 7: The same stairs.
- 8:12Speaker 6: Those stairs are meaningless because you've already walked to them,
- 8:14Speaker 6: whereas what you could have done is kept going and
- 8:17Speaker 6: the same time.
- 8:17Speaker 8: It would take probably quicker.
- 8:18Speaker 6: Actually, you could have walked all the way down and
- 8:20Speaker 6: completed the challenge. Now you're gonna have to go because
- 8:23Speaker 6: I'll just changed to someone. You're gonna have to go
- 8:24Speaker 6: back down.
- 8:25Speaker 7: To the bottom, climb up to midpoint, and then back
- 8:27Speaker 7: down again.
- 8:28Speaker 4: Well, according to my pedometer on my phone, so far today,
- 8:33Speaker 4: I've done thirty seven thousand steps.
- 8:36Speaker 8: That's a pedometer calls for short.
- 8:41Speaker 4: Yeah, so I'm halfway there. What my plan is, Fellers,
- 8:47Speaker 4: is to finish off the other half, oh, after the
- 8:50Speaker 4: show's finished, because I you know, I don't know to
- 8:52Speaker 4: be coming on here, you know, fully puffed as it were.
- 8:55Speaker 8: I think we should get you to do it during
- 8:56Speaker 8: the show, right. My concern is that we're going to
- 8:59Speaker 8: be left in a similar position to what we are now.
- 9:02Speaker 8: Is that you going and and doing half of it
- 9:04Speaker 8: before the show when we were in here. I'm gonna
- 9:07Speaker 8: be honest, it sounds like a yarn, right, okay, you know,
- 9:09Speaker 8: And so my concern is that you're lying and then
- 9:13Speaker 8: that you'll say that you're that, you'll say you've done
- 9:17Speaker 8: it after the show and you've done nothing.
- 9:19Speaker 6: Have you got Is there anyone around that can verify
- 9:20Speaker 6: that you've done Yeah?
- 9:22Speaker 4: Well this is the thing found. I believe Dilly's got
- 9:24Speaker 4: some footage of that.
- 9:26Speaker 7: Do you have any footage of that?
- 9:27Speaker 4: He said he's gonna He's saying no, he's got to
- 9:30Speaker 4: take it.
- 9:31Speaker 7: He's shaking his heir, he was having.
- 9:32Speaker 4: Issues with his camera.
- 9:33Speaker 7: That was you having issues with your camera? Dilly shaking
- 9:36Speaker 7: his head?
- 9:37Speaker 4: Okay, so was it Dilly or.
- 9:39Speaker 7: Was it someone else?
- 9:40Speaker 4: It might have been someone else. Oh yeah, so engrossed
- 9:44Speaker 4: in the tasks walking that I can't remember who was
- 9:47Speaker 4: actually with me.
- 9:48Speaker 8: Yeah, it sounds all on camera, sounds like you might
- 9:51Speaker 8: have been dreaming it.
- 9:53Speaker 6: No, no, you did it, and you did it in real life.
- 9:56Speaker 6: It does sound like a yan Jason. I do worry
- 9:58Speaker 6: that if people find out we're yearning all the.
- 10:00Speaker 8: Time, especially for something as important as this, right.
- 10:04Speaker 6: Like if you're gonna lie you know about something like
- 10:06Speaker 6: bell Cancer's and raising funds, Yeah, you know what does
- 10:08Speaker 6: that say about you?
- 10:09Speaker 3: No?
- 10:09Speaker 4: I'm just saying that this is what I'm real because
- 10:12Speaker 4: it's such a massively good cause obviously that I want
- 10:15Speaker 4: to do my little bit, you know, to contribute. And
- 10:18Speaker 4: can I just say on that front, you know, I've
- 10:20Speaker 4: made the donations like thousands of chemis across.
- 10:23Speaker 7: This great cane. Can I check your text?
- 10:25Speaker 5: No, because you just go straight to my photos, you know, because.
- 10:30Speaker 4: I'm doing this, And can I also wear it? Before
- 10:35Speaker 4: we did the broadcast this morning, Kezy and I Mogi
- 10:38Speaker 4: I did the outer remh. Yeah, well, and I must
- 10:42Speaker 4: say highly recommended you fellas. I know you're a little
- 10:45Speaker 4: bit squiffy about heights, but I reckon you give it
- 10:48Speaker 4: a nudge again.
- 10:50Speaker 8: You know a lot of people here with cameras. They
- 10:52Speaker 8: would have wanted to get that on social media. Anybody
- 10:54Speaker 8: kept to you walking around the outside of the sky tower.
- 10:55Speaker 4: Mate, Well, this is the terrible thing because I don't
- 10:58Speaker 4: know if you're aware of this. G Lane got a
- 11:00Speaker 4: naked butt out and old Bet got her. You know,
- 11:02Speaker 4: she did a bit of a flash as well, and
- 11:04Speaker 4: so the cameras were sidetracked by that action as Hordy
- 11:09Speaker 4: J walked past.
- 11:10Speaker 7: Right, and then you sprinted past the ball?
- 11:12Speaker 4: What about me?
- 11:13Speaker 8: What about me?
- 11:14Speaker 7: Yeah? Right, okay, so no foolge to be doing either
- 11:16Speaker 7: of these two things. And you won't show me your
- 11:18Speaker 7: phone to prove you did donate.
- 11:19Speaker 8: I'll tell you what the fact that you've seen you've
- 11:20Speaker 8: done half. I'm happy if you just do the other
- 11:22Speaker 8: twenty five floors, man, that's all good. Yeah, we'll do that.
- 11:24Speaker 8: We'll do that next year.
- 11:26Speaker 7: Really, yeah, okay, good on your hoidy Jay.
- 11:29Speaker 6: Don't forget if you'd like to donate, like Jace hasn't.
- 11:31Speaker 6: Takes lou to three four eight three. You get a
- 11:34Speaker 6: donation link. There are plenty more big names in the
- 11:37Speaker 6: TV world coming up feelers after this short break.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Year The Hurdarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue
- 11:45Speaker 1: and Kisy.
- 11:47Speaker 4: Indeed Nirvana there on the radio Hold Archy Big Show,
- 11:50Speaker 4: this gloomy Thursday afternoon. Lying from atop the sky tower,
- 11:55Speaker 4: we promised your superstars and man alive. Do we have
- 11:59Speaker 4: a super star now? She is a legend of New
- 12:02Speaker 4: Zealand television. I'm talking about the extraordinary, the vigorous Suzanne Paul,
- 12:10Speaker 4: Suzanne Hou's life.
- 12:15Speaker 10: Honestly I wanted to do you were talking about then?
- 12:16Speaker 10: What a lovely introduction.
- 12:18Speaker 8: Women's The last time you were referred to Suzanne as vigorous.
- 12:22Speaker 4: I've been.
- 12:25Speaker 10: No strange choice of words.
- 12:28Speaker 4: I mean vigorous in the sints of You've got so
- 12:31Speaker 4: much energy, you know what I mean? And that was
- 12:34Speaker 4: that you could see it on the screen. You're always
- 12:36Speaker 4: full of life. That's what I mean by vigorous.
- 12:39Speaker 3: You know what I.
- 12:41Speaker 4: Now, Susan, This is a serious topic obviously, bow cancer
- 12:47Speaker 4: and health in general for men and for women.
- 12:51Speaker 5: I mean, how are you on your health run?
- 12:53Speaker 4: Are you if there's something going on for you? Are
- 12:55Speaker 4: you a procrastinator or are you one of those people
- 12:58Speaker 4: that says I'm an to deal with it straight away?
- 13:01Speaker 4: Because you strike me as a person that says I'm
- 13:03Speaker 4: going to deal with it straight away.
- 13:04Speaker 10: I do deal with it straight away. I get and
- 13:07Speaker 10: like with the bow, can you know when you get
- 13:08Speaker 10: that kick to come through? As soon as that's in
- 13:11Speaker 10: the letterbox, I'm on the loo. That's it. Yeah right,
- 13:14Speaker 10: I'm doing the tests. But touch on. I'm very thankful
- 13:18Speaker 10: that I am healthy, and I do every day I
- 13:21Speaker 10: thank God in the universe for my health and safety.
- 13:24Speaker 4: Well, it's very easy, isn't it to take it for granted? Yes,
- 13:26Speaker 4: you know what I meaning.
- 13:28Speaker 10: But as I'm getting old, I see people. Do you
- 13:30Speaker 10: know how old will be this year? No, you don't.
- 13:32Speaker 10: I'll tell you. I shall be seventy.
- 13:34Speaker 4: You are, Joe.
- 13:39Speaker 10: Is going to be a party. So as you can imagine,
- 13:42Speaker 10: at my age, I am very thankful because I see
- 13:45Speaker 10: other people around me of my age.
- 13:47Speaker 11: You know.
- 13:47Speaker 8: Yeah, Well, the pain for the pain for the sins
- 13:50Speaker 8: of the past. I'd imagine Susan like you take a
- 13:53Speaker 8: hoidy j over here, shock and burst terrible. Some of
- 13:56Speaker 8: the things that he got up to in his youth.
- 13:58Speaker 8: And he's also a procrista, which means all of those things.
- 14:01Speaker 8: He just refuses to go and deal with it. But
- 14:04Speaker 8: you yourself, you don't strike me as you would have been.
- 14:06Speaker 8: You would have been massively on the darts back in
- 14:08Speaker 8: your day, would you?
- 14:09Speaker 9: You?
- 14:09Speaker 8: Sort of just pretty clean living?
- 14:11Speaker 5: Uh?
- 14:15Speaker 8: Yes, a couple of nothing wrong with it, that's right.
- 14:21Speaker 8: You've got to you've got to decide to give it us.
- 14:24Speaker 10: I do like a glass of wine. I've got a
- 14:26Speaker 10: glass of wine. Now, I'm not doing dry ju Line.
- 14:30Speaker 10: I can't be doing with it. I'll give the money,
- 14:32Speaker 10: whatever money is, but I'll keep the alcohol. Don't see
- 14:38Speaker 10: the point of that.
- 14:39Speaker 6: Well, because just just a similar topic, Jase, because I
- 14:44Speaker 6: wouldn't have I wouldn't have guessed that you were turning Semny.
- 14:47Speaker 7: You look amazing.
- 14:48Speaker 4: You truly do.
- 14:49Speaker 6: Wherehereas Jace, you know he's had a life of punching dirries.
- 14:53Speaker 7: He's yeah, he's actually thirty nine.
- 14:57Speaker 10: I know. Actually I wish i'd have thought, looking at
- 14:59Speaker 10: you now, I could have brought you some of the
- 15:02Speaker 10: the n sell. No, you need more help than that.
- 15:07Speaker 10: You need the puffy ironmovers.
- 15:11Speaker 7: Remove.
- 15:14Speaker 5: I gave you such a glowing.
- 15:17Speaker 4: I'm amazing. It's reduction in.
- 15:22Speaker 8: Outrage. I've got a lot of faith in your products, Susan,
- 15:24Speaker 8: but surely Jason's too far gone.
- 15:29Speaker 4: Come on now, Susan, I understand you've got a podcast
- 15:33Speaker 4: going on. Well, tell us about your podcast. I do.
- 15:36Speaker 10: It's called Fork's Sake, you know, as in for Fork's
- 15:38Speaker 10: Sake and me and Andrew Pappas is amazing. He's a
- 15:43Speaker 10: great singer. You know. He was in a boy band
- 15:46Speaker 10: called Titan.
- 15:49Speaker 7: Yeah, we played what.
- 15:50Speaker 10: Do you know? He was in the ten Tenors and
- 15:52Speaker 10: his stage shows. But he is also a foodie. He
- 15:56Speaker 10: had a restaurant at one stage, so we talked to
- 15:59Speaker 10: selet brities about food.
- 16:02Speaker 6: And Jason is a keen restaurants from all around.
- 16:05Speaker 8: The city, and he's got an idea for a restaurant
- 16:07Speaker 8: as well. Toasted sandwiches.
- 16:09Speaker 10: Yeah, I'm not going there with But no, I'm not
- 16:14Speaker 10: a foodie. That's no he is, you see, and he
- 16:18Speaker 10: cooks us something every week and we eat it with
- 16:21Speaker 10: a celebrity guests. I take the wine then, but no,
- 16:24Speaker 10: I'm not a food at all. I'm quite happy. My
- 16:28Speaker 10: secret recipe is actually a pie. Right, so you buy
- 16:34Speaker 10: a steak and kidney pie and then you make a
- 16:36Speaker 10: jug of oxo boiling waton on the pie and mash
- 16:40Speaker 10: it up.
- 16:41Speaker 4: Oh my god.
- 16:42Speaker 8: Really it's about some real depression era UK.
- 16:47Speaker 10: That's a real so Andrew cooks all this stuff and
- 16:52Speaker 10: we put this layer on that and the other and
- 16:54Speaker 10: I'm like, you know, they're sell them at food town.
- 16:57Speaker 10: Why did you what food easy?
- 17:00Speaker 2: Whatever?
- 17:02Speaker 7: I think you think it was.
- 17:07Speaker 10: Not a food I'm happy with the piece of toast
- 17:09Speaker 10: and maw chocolate nice.
- 17:11Speaker 7: Actually, I like that.
- 17:12Speaker 6: I I've done recently started to explore outside of you know,
- 17:15Speaker 6: your sausages and mash and things like that.
- 17:18Speaker 5: Remember you were a meeting three viage kind of feeling.
- 17:21Speaker 6: Traditionally, But I'm getting bitter, well, Susan Paul, Look, thank
- 17:26Speaker 6: you so much for coming in and having a chat.
- 17:28Speaker 7: Going yet to discover it. Well, you can stay if
- 17:30Speaker 7: you want, you want to longer.
- 17:31Speaker 10: It took me that Aaron after Kenny Yah.
- 17:35Speaker 8: We've got gallons, We've got gallons and gallons of wine
- 17:38Speaker 8: out there and we need your help to get through it.
- 17:40Speaker 9: All.
- 17:40Speaker 4: Right, Well, let's go to a trick and Okay, so
- 17:43Speaker 4: we go to a tune.
- 17:43Speaker 6: We'll come back with more Susanne Paul sounds good man,
- 17:46Speaker 6: you get some more wine, guys chun A.
- 17:50Speaker 1: The hold Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keysy
- 17:53Speaker 1: tune in week days and four on Radio hold.
- 17:56Speaker 4: Ichis indeed the stereo phone here on the radio hold
- 17:59Speaker 4: Arky Big Show. This gloomy Thursday evening for a day
- 18:03Speaker 4: in lou We have a very very special guest. Though
- 18:07Speaker 4: I'm not inclined to be too generous after what she
- 18:10Speaker 4: said about my facial features, but I am talking about
- 18:13Speaker 4: the legion of the television legend that.
- 18:15Speaker 5: Is Suzan Paul Suzann.
- 18:18Speaker 4: We've just been having some fascinating cats off here, actually
- 18:21Speaker 4: we have. And Kesey was recalling when you first came
- 18:24Speaker 4: to this country, you only had eighteen dollars to your name.
- 18:28Speaker 4: I did I know, eighteen pounds or eighteen New Zealand dollars.
- 18:36Speaker 10: But the exchange eate wasn't good. And I booked a
- 18:39Speaker 10: couple of weeks in the backpackers, yes, and just got
- 18:44Speaker 10: the newspaper and look for a job.
- 18:46Speaker 5: Can I ask what was the motivation behind coming to
- 18:49Speaker 5: New Zealand.
- 18:50Speaker 10: Well, I've been a couple of times before, to be honest,
- 18:53Speaker 10: but it hadn't worked out, and then I thought, no,
- 18:56Speaker 10: I'll go again and give it another go. So it
- 18:58Speaker 10: was my third time, and looking back, I don't know,
- 19:03Speaker 10: I think I was very brave. Looking back, I think,
- 19:05Speaker 10: my god, I'm so brave because I didn't you know,
- 19:08Speaker 10: I didn't have a job, I didn't have any money
- 19:09Speaker 10: and didn't have anywhere to live. But was it if
- 19:13Speaker 10: I'd have failed? Everybody said it was a foolish thing
- 19:15Speaker 10: to do. But because I succeeded, everybody's like, you know,
- 19:18Speaker 10: it's a brave thing to do, but you don't know
- 19:20Speaker 10: at the time which one is brave.
- 19:23Speaker 11: I would do it.
- 19:24Speaker 4: I mean, to go to another country with only eighteen
- 19:26Speaker 4: dollars to your name, as I know, but you strike
- 19:28Speaker 4: me as a brave person.
- 19:29Speaker 10: I am brave. Yeah, And I just thought, well, I'll
- 19:31Speaker 10: just it's amazing the jobs that you will do when
- 19:34Speaker 10: you have to do them, you know.
- 19:35Speaker 4: Yeah, Well the film was just earlier in the day
- 19:37Speaker 4: they walked for around the rim of the skytower.
- 19:40Speaker 5: Would you be prepared to do that today?
- 19:42Speaker 7: Because you're brave.
- 19:45Speaker 3: It's a bit with.
- 19:47Speaker 10: A bit, but you know what, if I had to
- 19:49Speaker 10: do it, you would do it. Wouldn't.
- 19:51Speaker 7: I'll give you eighteen dollars.
- 19:54Speaker 8: Oh my.
- 20:00Speaker 4: Say in two season because you're talking about your podcast,
- 20:02Speaker 4: so it's going great guns.
- 20:03Speaker 5: But you've also got a book coming out a little
- 20:05Speaker 5: bit I.
- 20:06Speaker 10: Do, so I've gone with a motivational sort of self
- 20:09Speaker 10: help book because I do, I am on the speaker's circuit,
- 20:12Speaker 10: so I do a lot of motivation speaking. And people, yes,
- 20:17Speaker 10: they want to know why did I come and how
- 20:18Speaker 10: did I be successful? But to be honest, the main
- 20:21Speaker 10: talk about is because you ask who's you successful? And
- 20:24Speaker 10: had millions and millions and then I lost it all
- 20:26Speaker 10: and this made bankrupt. So what people really want to
- 20:29Speaker 10: know is how do you pick yourself up from that?
- 20:32Speaker 10: How do you start again? How do you make yourself
- 20:34Speaker 10: do the things you don't really want to do? You know,
- 20:37Speaker 10: when you'd rather stay in bed, you know, and cry
- 20:39Speaker 10: and feel sorry for yourself, you pure enough, But I
- 20:42Speaker 10: got up and did the things anyway. So it's about that.
- 20:45Speaker 10: It's about you can't wait for motivation, you can't wait
- 20:48Speaker 10: for inspiration, you can't wait until you feel ready, because
- 20:52Speaker 10: ready isn't a feeling, Okay, ready is a decision.
- 20:56Speaker 8: Yeah, And do you sort of find was it a
- 20:58Speaker 8: motivation for you, like, as you say, to get to
- 21:01Speaker 8: the point where you're bankrupt and you want to stay
- 21:04Speaker 8: in bed all day. Were you motivated by wanting to
- 21:06Speaker 8: prove people wrong? Because it must have been it must
- 21:08Speaker 8: have been a real, a real sort of care. But
- 21:11Speaker 8: if it was.
- 21:12Speaker 10: More, No, I just don't like being poor. I've been
- 21:15Speaker 10: rich poor, and I thought, well, I know which one
- 21:17Speaker 10: I prefer. So I'm not having it. So get back
- 21:20Speaker 10: out there, you know, get yourself out of bed, get
- 21:23Speaker 10: yourself back out there and start again.
- 21:25Speaker 6: Susan Paul, have you ever you've got your podcast now?
- 21:28Speaker 6: For fork's sake, it's just the name of that on iHeartRadio.
- 21:32Speaker 6: Have you you know you've been in broadcasting for a while.
- 21:34Speaker 6: Have you ever had a crack at radio? And would
- 21:36Speaker 6: you be interested in doing radio?
- 21:38Speaker 10: I did think about it. I don't know, because now
- 21:45Speaker 10: I found that I've got the podcast. You can say
- 21:47Speaker 10: what you like, can't you. It's nobody there. You don't
- 21:50Speaker 10: have to be worried about being censored or saying the wrong.
- 21:53Speaker 8: You couldn't use any of the kind of language you're
- 21:55Speaker 8: just using off here. Yeah, I.
- 22:01Speaker 4: Mean we have some chats off here, but that was
- 22:04Speaker 4: the next level. But you're right actually, because you know,
- 22:09Speaker 4: a podcast, you've got to sit and freedom. We do
- 22:10Speaker 4: a podcast outside the radio show, and it can get
- 22:12Speaker 4: a bit of our eighteen Yeah, you know what I'm saying.
- 22:16Speaker 4: We have to be a little bit more careful on
- 22:18Speaker 4: the radio. Obviously the broadcasting standards, but I believe they're
- 22:21Speaker 4: getting rid of those now. So who knows what's going
- 22:23Speaker 4: to happen with our show, because I think you'd fitting
- 22:25Speaker 4: really well for three fellows.
- 22:27Speaker 5: Here, I think.
- 22:28Speaker 10: So, do you know what, Back in the day, my
- 22:30Speaker 10: voice used to annoy people, so radio wasn't an option
- 22:33Speaker 10: then do you I think people have got used to
- 22:37Speaker 10: it now I'm in a thirty five. People have got
- 22:39Speaker 10: used to it.
- 22:40Speaker 8: But at the time it was a selling point.
- 22:42Speaker 10: Though it was a trademark, it was and people are
- 22:46Speaker 10: And do you know what, I didn't care. People either
- 22:48Speaker 10: hated it or they loved it. But I used to think,
- 22:50Speaker 10: I don't care love as long as you buy the products.
- 22:55Speaker 8: Well, we actually do. We do a segment on our
- 22:57Speaker 8: radio show radio show called Meat Petty Nips sixty nine,
- 23:02Speaker 8: and it's an advice slot lots and given the fact
- 23:05Speaker 8: that you've got this book out your time as now.
- 23:07Speaker 8: I reckon you'd be able to give some bloody good advice.
- 23:09Speaker 8: We should get you in once a week to help
- 23:11Speaker 8: us out with some advice. Give you a taste a radio,
- 23:13Speaker 8: give you, give you excess to your audience. You get
- 23:16Speaker 8: paid in a fiction. Susan Jason over here is a
- 23:20Speaker 8: massive hugger.
- 23:24Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm such a such a physical kind of gay.
- 23:27Speaker 4: I tell you what we can get you though. We
- 23:29Speaker 4: can get you some snack of Chaney chips. Oh yeah,
- 23:33Speaker 4: a Reburg avouch.
- 23:34Speaker 8: Can I ask you? Do you already own a backbone
- 23:37Speaker 8: T shirt?
- 23:38Speaker 10: No, I don't go.
- 23:40Speaker 6: We'll get your backbone T shirt, which is one of
- 23:42Speaker 6: your favorite says he keeps saying it off here earlier.
- 23:45Speaker 6: And we'll give you a packet of these cotton soft
- 23:47Speaker 6: toilet rolls as well.
- 23:49Speaker 4: Every week, every single week. Oh what are you saying, Suzan?
- 23:55Speaker 4: What an absolute joy it is to have you in here.
- 23:58Speaker 4: Have you got any sort of final advice for people?
- 24:01Speaker 4: You know, because it is bow cancer Awareness month, you know,
- 24:04Speaker 4: rehoal for the people out there, Yes, that it may
- 24:08Speaker 4: be procrastinating, that it may be mucking around with your health.
- 24:11Speaker 4: What would you say to them mine.
- 24:13Speaker 10: I would say, I've got to the age I realize
- 24:15Speaker 10: health is wealth. So matter how much money you've got,
- 24:19Speaker 10: now does it if you haven't got your health? And
- 24:23Speaker 10: what happens as you get older, just when you get
- 24:26Speaker 10: your head together, all your body falls apart.
- 24:29Speaker 4: True?
- 24:29Speaker 7: That interesting, So just.
- 24:31Speaker 10: Look after it and do all the tests you've got

- 26:07Speaker 4: in terms of scrunch or fold veer into shat chat again.
- 26:12Speaker 8: We're talking about the toilet paper I don't want to
- 26:13Speaker 8: talk about. I'm more of a wit wipe.
- 26:16Speaker 5: Yeah that's just gross.
- 26:17Speaker 7: Yeah, No, that's actually way bitter. Is it like if
- 26:21Speaker 7: a bird pood on your arm?
- 26:22Speaker 8: Jays?
- 26:22Speaker 4: Yeah, well, I mean if another creature craps on me.
- 26:27Speaker 6: If a human poos on your arm, Jays, would you
- 26:29Speaker 6: wipe it off with a dry paper towel or a witwipe?
- 26:32Speaker 4: I just leave it?
- 26:33Speaker 6: Yeah right, okay, well I don't know what to do

- 26:39Speaker 5: Really good good to be here.
- 26:41Speaker 4: Good.
- 26:42Speaker 11: Should I do the traffic while I'm up here?
- 26:45Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 26:46Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 26:46Speaker 8: What's from the window there?
- 26:48Speaker 11: Well, just I can't see the Harbor Bridge, but but
- 26:51Speaker 11: it looks busy.
- 26:52Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, okay, I'm talking about we got to.
- 26:57Speaker 7: Wheezeer Nick's bread. Would you like to throw the wheze?
- 27:00Speaker 4: Oh?

- 27:15Speaker 1: in on Radio Holucky.
- 27:18Speaker 4: He is indeed Inkeeper's there on the Radio Darchy Big Show.
- 27:21Speaker 4: This gloomy wet Thursday afternoon live from atop the sky Tower,
- 27:27Speaker 4: and the stars keep on coming, fellows.
- 27:30Speaker 6: They certainly do, Jase, before we go to our next
- 27:31Speaker 6: TV star to such to remind everyone that we're here.
- 27:34Speaker 6: Raising funds for Balcansa New Zealand, and it text lou
- 27:36Speaker 6: to three four.
- 27:37Speaker 4: Eight three bloody oats. Now we just had the amazing
- 27:42Speaker 4: Susan Paul God, how good was she? Feels?
- 27:45Speaker 7: She is an icon?
- 27:46Speaker 8: Can I say that she is an absolute smoke show?
- 27:49Speaker 4: Yep, totally, man. I nearly said it live on air. Actually, yeah,
- 27:53Speaker 4: and she was seventy.
- 27:55Speaker 7: Sixty nine actually and pause after that.
- 27:59Speaker 4: It makes no I'm just saying this, man, she is
- 28:03Speaker 4: an excellent shape and obviously takes care of her health.
- 28:08Speaker 4: And she told me afterwards affectionately that I had a
- 28:11Speaker 4: very well lived in face. All right, that I wasn't
- 28:15Speaker 4: an ugly beast. I tell you our next guest certainly
- 28:18Speaker 4: isn't an ugly beast. He's a stallion. We're talking about
- 28:22Speaker 4: TV superstar, the one and only Jeremy Well's good a
- 28:26Speaker 4: jes A, How's life?
- 28:28Speaker 9: What a generous kind intro that was? What does she
- 28:32Speaker 9: say you had a well lived in face.
- 28:34Speaker 4: Yes, she's the second person that said that to me
- 28:37Speaker 4: in my life. I got interviewed for a magazine once
- 28:39Speaker 4: and she described my face as well lived in.
- 28:44Speaker 9: I've never heard anyone's face described as well lived in before.
- 28:48Speaker 9: I mean, so when you've lived in a face, well,
- 28:52Speaker 9: does that mean that you've looked after your face? I
- 28:54Speaker 9: know a lot of time in it, and you've really
- 28:57Speaker 9: pushed the boundaries in her to for a renovation.
- 29:00Speaker 4: It's it's a face that I'm not going to get
- 29:02Speaker 4: my bond back, you know what I'm saying.
- 29:07Speaker 9: But it's a face that It's a face you'd find
- 29:11Speaker 9: on Castle Street. A number of students have lived in
- 29:16Speaker 9: it over the years, and it's not insulated.
- 29:19Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly.
- 29:20Speaker 6: But just moving on from Jason's face, if we could
- 29:23Speaker 6: TV's Jeremy Wells. I mean, you know you've known to
- 29:26Speaker 6: dabble in a bit of television and radio as well.
- 29:30Speaker 7: How do you find the time to do it all?
- 29:31Speaker 4: Man? It's it's not easy, Keysy.
- 29:34Speaker 9: I mean, just moments ago, I was doing a promo
- 29:37Speaker 9: down in the tv Z building, which is just a
- 29:39Speaker 9: stone strow from where we're broadcasting from here. In fact,
- 29:42Speaker 9: you could spit on it if you just could.
- 29:45Speaker 4: Lean out the window here.
- 29:46Speaker 8: But the windows are actually pretty you.
- 29:49Speaker 9: Can't open them. But so I was down there. I mean,
- 29:53Speaker 9: you know, you find time, Keysy, and you'll find this
- 29:57Speaker 9: as you get a bit older. Yes, that you've just
- 30:00Speaker 9: got to start. You take in every moment you possibly can,
- 30:03Speaker 9: because life's so short.
- 30:04Speaker 8: There are wise words, mate, So.
- 30:06Speaker 9: There's no better thing to do with your time than work.
- 30:08Speaker 8: Yeah, I've got a question for you, Dre. There's been
- 30:11Speaker 8: a lot of chat the day and age about the
- 30:13Speaker 8: death of investigative journalism, and yet seven sharp is there
- 30:17Speaker 8: every single day asking the hard questions. What's on the
- 30:19Speaker 8: show tonight, mate?
- 30:20Speaker 9: I'm so pleased certainly that you've understood that seven sharp
- 30:25Speaker 9: is asking the hard questions because earlier on we were
- 30:27Speaker 9: asking the hard questions of a massive university money person
- 30:31Speaker 9: around the new banking changes that are coming. You guys
- 30:34Speaker 9: are aware of the new banking changes. Checkbox obviously have gone,
- 30:39Speaker 9: a lot of our audience don't realize that, but Checkbox
- 30:42Speaker 9: have gone. They've been gone for some years. And the
- 30:44Speaker 9: next thing to go, believe it or not, numbers on
- 30:46Speaker 9: your cards?
- 30:47Speaker 7: Yes, wow, what do you mean numbers on your cards?
- 30:50Speaker 8: No numbers, numbers, It will just be a card.
- 30:53Speaker 7: What do you type in when you're buying something online?
- 30:55Speaker 9: Exactly?
- 30:56Speaker 8: Keusy you get and tune into seven Up tonight to
- 31:00Speaker 8: find out we.
- 31:01Speaker 4: Want to give it away.
- 31:02Speaker 5: We're not going to have a scanning scenario, are we.
- 31:04Speaker 4: We have to do your scanning with that.
- 31:06Speaker 8: This is exactly the kind of reaction you're looking for.
- 31:09Speaker 8: During Boomer exploding, he sees the primo he's tuning, and
- 31:13Speaker 8: he needs to know what's going on.
- 31:14Speaker 3: Fume.
- 31:15Speaker 4: Well, I'm with you, Mogi. I believe that seven sharp
- 31:19Speaker 4: has their finger on the veiny pulse of the nation.
- 31:21Speaker 6: Well, they they're going to blow this this this card
- 31:25Speaker 6: story wide.
- 31:25Speaker 7: Open, aren't they? Totally and ask the hard questions.
- 31:28Speaker 4: Well, no one else is doing it.
- 31:29Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean there's probably a reason for that.
- 31:31Speaker 7: Yeah, because the project I'm canceled.
- 31:33Speaker 9: Show me the other investigative television journalists out there, show me,
- 31:37Speaker 9: tell me what are the programs?
- 31:38Speaker 7: What is the key to seven Sharp's longevity?
- 31:40Speaker 10: Man?
- 31:40Speaker 7: Because I can't figure it out.
- 31:42Speaker 9: Audience, audience, audience, you.
- 31:45Speaker 8: Don't understand yet thousand every single night, Dury.
- 31:48Speaker 9: One day you'll understand delivering for the audience. Look at
- 31:51Speaker 9: what does the audience want. Listen to the audience.
- 31:54Speaker 8: And then ignore them and then give them any old ships.
- 31:57Speaker 9: They vote with their remotes, right, and then when they
- 31:59Speaker 9: like something, we just give them more of it.
- 32:01Speaker 4: And I think the reason Keysy is asking that question
- 32:05Speaker 4: he had a league show, and I mean.
- 32:08Speaker 7: This was five years ago, four years to.
- 32:11Speaker 4: Say that it didn't in terms of longevity for Kesy
- 32:14Speaker 4: go for a long time.
- 32:15Speaker 7: I got sacked and then I got canceled.
- 32:17Speaker 8: Well, I got another season and did very well.
- 32:20Speaker 4: Numbers, what numbers are we talking?
- 32:22Speaker 8: Give us some numbers, Throw some numbers.
- 32:24Speaker 4: How to go on the household.
- 32:25Speaker 9: Shoppers, I'd say, well, the problem was behind it fourteen,
- 32:28Speaker 9: it's behind a pay walls.
- 32:29Speaker 6: Behind a paywall right and behind that paywall on Sky
- 32:33Speaker 6: there and then it was also aimed at sort of
- 32:34Speaker 6: Maldi and Pacifica as well, and so like the numbers
- 32:37Speaker 6: at that time weren't very.
- 32:39Speaker 9: High, genoriously underrepresented in the ac Neilson steads.
- 32:42Speaker 6: That's that's Creed. That's what I said on my way
- 32:44Speaker 6: out of the building. So, but enough about my show,
- 32:47Speaker 6: which has been canceled, has been talked about more on
- 32:49Speaker 6: this radio station than any other show.
- 32:52Speaker 7: We've got TV's Jeremy Wells here.
- 32:54Speaker 6: I feel like we should ask him some more, you know,
- 32:56Speaker 6: advice around TV and and how too.
- 33:00Speaker 8: I think we've covered it off.
- 33:01Speaker 9: Yeah, I feel like we've talked more than enough to honest.
- 33:05Speaker 8: Yeah, I'd like to get your back, though, I'd like
- 33:07Speaker 8: to get your back for more chat. You stick around
- 33:09Speaker 8: for another break? Absolutely excellent.
- 33:10Speaker 7: All right, well let's go to some oasis then, Oh okay,
- 33:13Speaker 7: why not and we'll be.
- 33:14Speaker 1: Back so with more Jerry the whole Archy Big Show
- 33:18Speaker 1: with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kissy.
- 33:21Speaker 4: Awasis there on the radio. Hold Archie Big Show, this
- 33:25Speaker 4: wet and gloomy Thursday evening on top of the sky
- 33:29Speaker 4: Tower for a Jay and Lou Fellers.
- 33:32Speaker 6: YEP raising funds for Bell Cancer Awareness Month. You can
- 33:36Speaker 6: donate by texting Lou to three four eight three Fellas.
- 33:40Speaker 8: We've got the incredible well of TV's Jeremy Wells and
- 33:44Speaker 8: here with us and Jerry. As you'll know, we're fundraising
- 33:48Speaker 8: for awareness around Bell cancer. Have you had any experience
- 33:53Speaker 8: with Bell cancer, either yourself or anybody else? And how
- 33:56Speaker 8: do you go in the second part of the question
- 33:59Speaker 8: with getting yourself I've checked out when you know there's
- 34:01Speaker 8: something not quite right downstairs?
- 34:03Speaker 9: Okay, well, let's address this in two parts, obviously, Mogi.
- 34:07Speaker 9: The first part is, yes, some some family ball cancer.
- 34:11Speaker 9: My great uncle Uncle nug I had bow cancer. He's
- 34:14Speaker 9: he's no longer with us. That was in the in
- 34:16Speaker 9: the late eighties, early nineties. That was my first introduction.
- 34:19Speaker 9: He ended up with the colostomy bags. He went in
- 34:22Speaker 9: quite late with a diagnose.
- 34:25Speaker 8: Horold was he? Do you know?
- 34:26Speaker 4: He was in his.
- 34:28Speaker 9: Early eighties when last and he he was one a
- 34:35Speaker 9: stoic unit.
- 34:37Speaker 5: They were that generation, weren't they.
- 34:39Speaker 4: He was particularly he was in the war. He was
- 34:41Speaker 4: in all black. He was a hard.
- 34:44Speaker 8: Do you think he'd referred to himself as a backbone.
- 34:47Speaker 9: He was a backbone, all right, He's a backbone. He
- 34:51Speaker 9: worked for the National Bank back in the day Great Bank.
- 34:55Speaker 4: Always was with.
- 34:56Speaker 9: The National Bank from the moment that he started working.
- 35:00Speaker 8: Sure well, of course they had the horses the emblem,
- 35:03Speaker 8: and that's that's a stoic emblem for a bank.
- 35:06Speaker 7: Precisely and just confirming. His name was Uncle nug His
- 35:09Speaker 7: name was uncle name.
- 35:10Speaker 8: He had Uncle nug written on his check book.
- 35:12Speaker 9: John Wells was his name. Nug Nugget was his was
- 35:18Speaker 9: his nickname. So nug was short for nugget.
- 35:22Speaker 5: Was he quite a squat and sort of stumpy.
- 35:24Speaker 4: He was a number six. He behaved.
- 35:28Speaker 9: He would have been about I reckon just under six
- 35:31Speaker 9: foot maybe, but huge hands, hands like spades.
- 35:35Speaker 8: Did you ever get your hands on his glossomy beag,
- 35:37Speaker 8: because they're an interesting point of difference for a young feller.
- 35:41Speaker 9: No, I didn't, but I do remember the smell and
- 35:45Speaker 9: sitting at Christmas dinner, Christmas lunch over the years, also
- 35:49Speaker 9: some noises that would percolating from from that, and that
- 35:55Speaker 9: was a good reminder as a young man that you know,
- 35:57Speaker 9: you've got to you've got to stay on your own health,
- 36:00Speaker 9: got to be on it. There's nothing there's no point
- 36:01Speaker 9: in being stoic when it comes to your own health. Yes,
- 36:04Speaker 9: it's silly, so you do need to check back to
- 36:08Speaker 9: your point, Mogi. It's important to stay on the symptoms
- 36:13Speaker 9: that you're looking out for. Of course, you're looking for
- 36:15Speaker 9: any any tiredness, any any dramatic changes in your movements
- 36:19Speaker 9: and you in your stools, in the consult blood in
- 36:23Speaker 9: the blood and steel, any pain, abdominal pain or any
- 36:28Speaker 9: lumps as well in your stomach.
- 36:30Speaker 6: And just so we've got TV's Jeremy Wells with us. Jeremy,
- 36:33Speaker 6: how's your back door?
- 36:35Speaker 9: Yes, it's good things, KIZI I mean It was funny
- 36:39Speaker 9: because as as I did my morning ablution this morning,
- 36:42Speaker 9: I obviously I knew I was coming to do a
- 36:44Speaker 9: five hour broadcast talking about Bower health, and so it's
- 36:49Speaker 9: front and center of your mind in that situation.
- 36:51Speaker 4: So I'm pleased to.
- 36:52Speaker 9: Report this morning there was no blood in my stool.
- 36:57Speaker 8: Has there ever been a need to have any health
- 37:00Speaker 8: professional or otherwise rummage around back there?
- 37:02Speaker 7: No, there was.
- 37:04Speaker 9: I had a prostrate check a while ago with with
- 37:07Speaker 9: Dr Tom May he rest in peace, no longer with us,
- 37:10Speaker 9: but a lovely man, Doctor Tom. But no, I haven't,
- 37:14Speaker 9: but I probably should because I'm forty nine. You get
- 37:17Speaker 9: on and so now is probably the time in the
- 37:21Speaker 9: next couple of years, so I'll be no doubt going
- 37:23Speaker 9: and checking in for.
- 37:25Speaker 7: A couple of years. I think that's too long, Jerry.
- 37:27Speaker 6: It's all about like today is all about now, you know,
- 37:29Speaker 6: like we need to get onto this now. Why don't
- 37:31Speaker 6: we do it right here right now?
- 37:32Speaker 9: Well, I think if you if you don't have any
- 37:33Speaker 9: symptoms keysy and I don't have any of those.
- 37:36Speaker 8: Well, he's got family history, that's what's concerning me.
- 37:38Speaker 9: I'll be honest, There is a bit of family history
- 37:40Speaker 9: and as soon as I experience any of those simplers,
- 37:43Speaker 9: I will be straight down to my GPO stuff.
- 37:46Speaker 4: You worry about that?
- 37:47Speaker 8: Good?
- 37:47Speaker 3: Good.
- 37:49Speaker 6: What's your view on Brokenwood Mysteries, Jerry, because that's also
- 37:52Speaker 6: on TV and Z one, which is where you spend
- 37:53Speaker 6: a lot of time.
- 37:54Speaker 9: Huge fan of Broken Wood Mysteries. I've got a little
- 37:56Speaker 9: respect for Broken Wood Mysteries. Obviously sells sells overseas one
- 38:01Speaker 9: of the great it does. Probably you would say, now
- 38:06Speaker 9: New Zealand's greatest dramatic televisual success story.
- 38:10Speaker 7: Isn't that amazing? It is because how many countries around
- 38:13Speaker 7: the world? Jays, because Jason is a part of it.
- 38:15Speaker 7: For those listening.
- 38:15Speaker 4: Seriously, I think it's one hundred and forty Wow, sells
- 38:18Speaker 4: to one hundred and forty countries.
- 38:20Speaker 8: Yeah, that's unbe Absolutely it's our greatest.
- 38:24Speaker 4: I think I think it's our greatest. How many seasons?
- 38:27Speaker 5: Nice?
- 38:28Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 38:29Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, that is amazing. Cash really really good.
- 38:32Speaker 4: Well listen, Jeremy, Thanks very much, mate, and thanks for
- 38:36Speaker 4: passing on the message to all the backbones out there
- 38:38Speaker 4: and the importance of you of your health.
- 38:40Speaker 8: Any final words for the listeners out there, jury to
- 38:43Speaker 8: inspire them to action.
- 38:45Speaker 4: Look if you can.
- 38:46Speaker 9: Go to if you can text Lou to three four
- 38:48Speaker 9: eight three and and here there follow the Lincoln donate
- 38:51Speaker 9: Look any amount is appreciated. You can also go to
- 38:56Speaker 9: day and Lou dot co dot in Z and check
- 38:58Speaker 9: out the online symptom checker. This is an important issue.
- 39:02Speaker 9: It's obviously something that affects a lot of New Zealanders.
- 39:04Speaker 9: We're overrepresented in these statistics and it's something that if
- 39:08Speaker 9: we get on to it early, you can prevent things
- 39:11Speaker 9: from getting a lot worse. So ultimately you're your own
- 39:14Speaker 9: health advocate. It's up to you, and I think the
- 39:16Speaker 9: message out there is don't be shy. If there's anything wrong,
- 39:20Speaker 9: get it checked out.
- 39:21Speaker 6: Good on you, mate, Thanks Jerry, and just start to
- 39:23Speaker 6: hear about your backdoor mate.
- 39:24Speaker 7: It's great The hood.
- 39:25Speaker 1: Archy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kisey.
- 39:31Speaker 5: Pushing on the radio hod Archy Big Show.
- 39:34Speaker 4: This rather Mankey Thursday evening atop the sky Tower for
- 39:39Speaker 4: a day in lou raising awareness for bow cancer New Zealand.
- 39:42Speaker 6: That's right, Jason, We've been here for almost twelve hours. Yeah,
- 39:46Speaker 6: we are almost at the finishing point of a day
- 39:48Speaker 6: in Lou which is of course raising funds and awareness
- 39:51Speaker 6: for bow cancer New Zealand. A big show to everyone
- 39:53Speaker 6: that's text Lou to three four eight three and made
- 39:55Speaker 6: donations that'll stay open for a while, so to keep
- 39:57Speaker 6: on text.
- 39:58Speaker 4: I believe fellas, we're real really close to topping three.
- 40:01Speaker 7: Million, three million, dollar three million.
- 40:05Speaker 4: Be the person to top it into the three million
- 40:09Speaker 4: zone and then go on do it right now New Zealand.
- 40:12Speaker 7: We've had a whole list of stars come through.
- 40:14Speaker 8: Oh my god. We've had Suzanne Paul or as Ja's calls,
- 40:18Speaker 8: a old Susan that was a very nice Jeremy Wells,
- 40:22Speaker 8: Wilson Dixon and now on the on the line and
- 40:24Speaker 8: he'll be able to clear this up for us really
- 40:26Speaker 8: quick quickly is Carl Erman. How are you going? Cow?
- 40:30Speaker 3: Oh good o fellas, how are you doing there?
- 40:32Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 40:33Speaker 5: Very well, thanks Carl your massive stallion.
- 40:36Speaker 4: I'll tell you what, mate, We've had some stars on today,
- 40:39Speaker 4: but you truly are, in all senses of the word,
- 40:42Speaker 4: are Superstarlia loved around the world and in New Zealand.
- 40:46Speaker 4: But I understand you a little bit under the weather
- 40:48Speaker 4: at the moment.
- 40:50Speaker 3: Mate, Yeah, I just caught a little logie. The the
- 40:52Speaker 3: missus is a school teacher and brings she brings home
- 40:57Speaker 3: all the good stuff that all the cool kids have.
- 40:59Speaker 3: So yeah, it's just going through a bit of out
- 41:02Speaker 3: of the moment, but you know, it's all good.
- 41:04Speaker 4: I tell you what, Carl. With the kids at school
- 41:07Speaker 4: or in nurseries or whatever, it's like a pot.
- 41:09Speaker 5: Piory of disease, you know what I mean. If you
- 41:12Speaker 5: want to get.
- 41:13Speaker 4: Get a super immune system, go and hang out in
- 41:16Speaker 4: the school for a while, get all the disease.
- 41:18Speaker 7: You can't hang out.
- 41:19Speaker 4: Yeah, it sounds really dodgy, doesn't it.
- 41:21Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, lick the door handles and yeah, it's all good.
- 41:26Speaker 3: But apparently after two years then you don't get sick.
- 41:29Speaker 3: But you've got to get through the first two years.
- 41:32Speaker 8: Do you mean the first two years of your kid
- 41:33Speaker 8: been in school, of the first two years of this
- 41:35Speaker 8: relationship with your girlfriend.
- 41:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not quite sure either.
- 41:42Speaker 8: We'll move on. We've had a bit of a check
- 41:46Speaker 8: gain on and here mate, and this is probably something
- 41:49Speaker 8: you've been asked a billion times, but we'll ask it
- 41:51Speaker 8: one more time anyway, And that is around your name.
- 41:54Speaker 8: Everybody who's been calling you Carl Urbarn. We have been
- 41:57Speaker 8: Jerry and Mett on breakfast or his heir, and we
- 42:01Speaker 8: understand it's actually Urban, Which is it? And why did
- 42:04Speaker 8: it ever go wrong?
- 42:06Speaker 3: Uh? That is a very good question. Actually it is
- 42:08Speaker 3: just Carl Urban for the record, but over in Europe,
- 42:14Speaker 3: which is where half of my family originated from, it's
- 42:18Speaker 3: pronounced the other way. So I just I just say
- 42:22Speaker 3: it the way it.
- 42:22Speaker 4: Looks, Yeah, Tyler, I guess with the Urban, it gives
- 42:26Speaker 4: it a certain j sua quad doesn't. It gives a
- 42:29Speaker 4: certain you know, there's a certain sophistication there, Carl.
- 42:34Speaker 3: It does, but you don't want to be one of
- 42:36Speaker 3: those fellas that you know his name is Ralph, but
- 42:40Speaker 3: you say no, no, it's race rare ye.
- 42:43Speaker 6: Not pulling the fingers anywhere, Carl Urbane, Amen, it's keazy here.
- 42:48Speaker 7: How are you today?
- 42:50Speaker 3: Oh mate? As we're discussed, I'm peachy, mate, absolutely, just
- 42:54Speaker 3: sort of.
- 42:55Speaker 7: Panic there and asked a random question, Carl Urban.
- 42:58Speaker 6: We're obviously here raising awareness and for boocanser New Zealand,
- 43:01Speaker 6: how's your back door?
- 43:02Speaker 8: At the moment?
- 43:04Speaker 3: Funny you should ask that it's actually it's actually all
- 43:07Speaker 3: good at the moment. It's not something that it's not
- 43:10Speaker 3: something we generally talk about us sellers, but it's important
- 43:15Speaker 3: to do so. And it's super important to normalize it
- 43:18Speaker 3: with your mates. And I've been doing this, lady with
- 43:20Speaker 3: mine because not too long ago, I actually, on my
- 43:23Speaker 3: own initiative, went and got a colonoscopy and cane flew
- 43:27Speaker 3: with flying colors. I'm happy, but you know, it was
- 43:32Speaker 3: just a simple thing to do, and it's so important
- 43:34Speaker 3: if you can just go and get a check up,
- 43:36Speaker 3: talk about it with your mates, go and get them
- 43:38Speaker 3: to get a check up, and you know what you could.
- 43:42Speaker 3: You know, we want to be around for the busies
- 43:44Speaker 3: in years to come, don't we, Fellas?
- 43:46Speaker 4: Yeah, totally, mate, that's a great message. There's nothing sort
- 43:50Speaker 4: of running the mill about my back door. I'll tell
- 43:52Speaker 4: you that much. You know.
- 43:54Speaker 5: Well, should I say normalizing it?
- 43:57Speaker 4: But it's a very but we can talk about it.
- 43:59Speaker 4: Yeah that's what I mean. But you know, we can
- 44:01Speaker 4: talk about it. But it's a great message you just
- 44:03Speaker 4: gave us there, mate.
- 44:05Speaker 3: Yeah, well you know, and I didn't, I mean, I
- 44:07Speaker 3: didn't stop there because you know, I sort of you know,
- 44:10Speaker 3: I've just hit let's just say call it forty in
- 44:13Speaker 3: GST and I've just thought, you know what, because the
- 44:17Speaker 3: Health syste Museum is great, but I find like you
- 44:20Speaker 3: have to be proactive, you know what I mean. You
- 44:22Speaker 3: have to go to your doctor and say, you know what,
- 44:24Speaker 3: I think I need to do this, this and this.
- 44:26Speaker 3: Can we do? Can we get this test? Can we
- 44:28Speaker 3: get that? So I've just had a whole raft of
- 44:29Speaker 3: stuff done. I had sort of my calcium score done
- 44:31Speaker 3: in my heart, had the prostate checked, I had the
- 44:35Speaker 3: colon ospy and it's just like, you know what, and
- 44:38Speaker 3: I feel like, get it done and give yourself a
- 44:42Speaker 3: bit of peace of mind. And I actually had a
- 44:44Speaker 3: mate recently you had a scan done on his heart
- 44:47Speaker 3: and found a high calcium score. So you know these
- 44:50Speaker 3: things are treatable. You've just got to be proactive. You've
- 44:52Speaker 3: got to get in there quick.
- 44:54Speaker 6: We've got actor Carl Urban on the line with us.
- 44:56Speaker 6: And Carl, once you did go and get all those
- 44:58Speaker 6: tests done, mate, you said, a bit more peace to mine.
- 45:00Speaker 6: But it must be really great having like a stamp
- 45:03Speaker 6: of a bill of good health handed to you for
- 45:05Speaker 6: the next couple of years. So you can just go sweet,
- 45:07Speaker 6: that's one less thing.
- 45:08Speaker 7: To worry about.
- 45:09Speaker 8: You can go out and get maggot.
- 45:10Speaker 3: Yeah, well this is it and that gives your license
- 45:13Speaker 3: to go out and double the beers. He's double the pies.
- 45:17Speaker 3: I will have teas on that. Thank you very much,
- 45:20Speaker 3: you know what I mean.
- 45:22Speaker 5: Yeah, very good. Hey, Carl, thanks so much for joining us.
- 45:25Speaker 4: Mate. I hope you get through this flu or whatever
- 45:27Speaker 4: the lurg is and we appreciate your time, your backbone.
- 45:32Speaker 3: I'm always good to talk to you, fellows. Wish you
- 45:34Speaker 3: guys the best. Wish I was up there with you.
- 45:36Speaker 7: Yeah on mate, see you soon, Carl, And a big.
- 45:41Speaker 8: Good on your mate, and a big big out.
- 45:43Speaker 7: Of a pause.
- 45:43Speaker 6: So do every single person here at Radiohodarchy that has
- 45:46Speaker 6: been involved with the Day and Lou. We've been broadcasting
- 45:48Speaker 6: as of right now, ten seconds ago for twelve straight hours,
- 45:52Speaker 6: raising fast and awareness for balcancer New Zealand. If you
- 45:57Speaker 6: are listening right now, don't be afraid to get their

- 47:13Speaker 5: What about?
- 47:14Speaker 7: Well? What are you thinking for the big Walk? Because
- 47:16Speaker 7: it's huge.
- 47:17Speaker 6: I actually just heard from someone that worked here that
- 47:21Speaker 6: the last time someone walked all the way down they
- 47:23Speaker 6: had to have two days off work up.
- 47:24Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 47:25Speaker 4: Yeah, well that's what I'm banking.
- 47:26Speaker 7: On having two days off.
- 47:28Speaker 4: Yeah. Well, I mean, if I'm walking all the way
- 47:29Speaker 4: down there, I want two days off work? Is that
- 47:32Speaker 4: the deal?
- 47:32Speaker 7: Yeah? Sure?
- 47:33Speaker 4: Okay, tomorrow's Friday, Yeah, and I'll have the Monday.
- 47:37Speaker 7: Okay.
- 47:38Speaker 5: It suddenly turned into a long weekend for hoodj.
- 47:42Speaker 6: And just because the day and lewis finished doesn't mean
- 47:44Speaker 6: the big shows finished. We've still got another hour of
- 47:46Speaker 6: quality content a fels.
- 47:47Speaker 8: Oh my god, It's only going to get better from here,
- 47:49Speaker 8: I tell you what.
- 47:49Speaker 6: And also we've got great tunes coming up as well
- 47:53Speaker 6: as is our want on Radiohoduck?
- 47:55Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 47:55Speaker 4: You mean like Queens are the Stone Age?
- 47:57Speaker 7: Sure do?
- 48:00Speaker 3: Oh?
- 48:00Speaker 8: This is started pilots? Should we do that instead?
- 48:03Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 48:03Speaker 3: You did? I know?
- 48:05Speaker 6: Any of the band.
- 48:07Speaker 1: Hdarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and.
- 48:10Speaker 4: Kisy Supergrass there on the radio Hold Archy Big Show
- 48:14Speaker 4: this Thuesday evening. You're listening to the Big Show.
- 48:18Speaker 7: Nice but Supergrass there, fellers.
- 48:21Speaker 8: It's all kezy over there, eh.
- 48:23Speaker 7: Hey, listen, I had a vivid dream last night.
- 48:27Speaker 8: Oh yeah, I had that dream as well the other night.
- 48:29Speaker 8: You remember that one.
- 48:30Speaker 6: Yeah, that was a different one. That was your cat
- 48:32Speaker 6: told you that your wife was cheating on you.
- 48:34Speaker 8: Yeah, And then I woke up and I confronted her
- 48:36Speaker 8: about it, and she said she wasn't.
- 48:37Speaker 7: She quite aggressively confronted her about her.
- 48:39Speaker 8: And I sort of don't still don't know who to believe.
- 48:42Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, well fair fair animals don't lie, magie.
- 48:46Speaker 6: I had a vivid dream last night on the back
- 48:48Speaker 6: of that, and I think, to be honest, it was
- 48:51Speaker 6: brought on by a couple of things. Obviously Jason's new boots, which,
- 48:57Speaker 6: for those aren't listening, just picture the most heinous pair
- 48:59Speaker 6: of boots.
- 49:00Speaker 7: You've ever seen in your life, yea, then color them.
- 49:02Speaker 8: And beige, yeah, and then design them for a woman and.
- 49:05Speaker 7: Then put hoody j in them. So those are the
- 49:08Speaker 7: boots that Jason's just purchased and loves them. And you
- 49:12Speaker 7: love them, Jase, don't you?
- 49:13Speaker 4: Absolutely? Man? I'm proud as pun.
- 49:16Speaker 6: Like you're not wearing them today, and I suspect they're
- 49:17Speaker 6: slowly gonna get phased out.
- 49:19Speaker 4: I say they're just in and out of the rotation.
- 49:21Speaker 4: I don't wear the same boot every day.
- 49:24Speaker 6: It's kind of funny because you kind of did before
- 49:26Speaker 6: these boots came along. But anyway, so we had a
- 49:29Speaker 6: dream and we finally went to your hot pot restaurant, Jason,
- 49:32Speaker 6: because you know how you desperately you love hot pot?
- 49:35Speaker 7: What do you have for dinner last night?
- 49:36Speaker 6: Hot Hot is a restaurant near Jas's house which does
- 49:40Speaker 6: an amazing hot pot.
- 49:41Speaker 7: Where do you cook it yourself?
- 49:42Speaker 4: No? No, you get all the ingredients and a bowl there.
- 49:46Speaker 4: Then you choose the sort of soup or you're gonna
- 49:49Speaker 4: have it dry. Yeah, you're gonna have it dry. Yeah,
- 49:52Speaker 4: But I always go for the spicy hot pop home
- 49:55Speaker 4: sort of special.
- 49:56Speaker 7: That's right. It's got one toons and prawns in there.
- 49:58Speaker 8: I can just see you the just scoffing your little face,
- 50:01Speaker 8: just clicking the heels on your boots together, just about.
- 50:07Speaker 6: A foot off the ground, just swinging back and woods
- 50:09Speaker 6: on your seat while you eat.
- 50:11Speaker 7: No, and the dream, there's a very vivid dream. We
- 50:13Speaker 7: all went to hod J's Hot pot restaurant. It was
- 50:15Speaker 7: the four of us, so Punks was.
- 50:17Speaker 6: There as well, and we went in you kind of
- 50:21Speaker 6: showed us around first of all.
- 50:22Speaker 7: Shipthole in my dream, like it was terrible. I couldn't
- 50:26Speaker 7: believe it.
- 50:26Speaker 4: This place is immaculate.
- 50:27Speaker 6: There was like three of these kind of like slow
- 50:31Speaker 6: cooker things filled with broth, and we like got a
- 50:33Speaker 6: ladle of that and then went along that someone just
- 50:35Speaker 6: dropped the thing of instant noodles in there and then
- 50:37Speaker 6: sprinkled some like frozen peas and carrots and stuff into.
- 50:40Speaker 7: It, and you were like beautiful, ake easy and sat down.
- 50:42Speaker 7: And then as I was aaty, I couldn't. I was
- 50:44Speaker 7: this most disgusting thing I've ever eaten.
- 50:46Speaker 8: The mon because you wouldn't want to be I want to, you.
- 50:50Speaker 7: Know, you know me. I like to support Jace in
- 50:53Speaker 7: everything I do.
- 50:54Speaker 6: And but what I realized was because I looked over it,
- 50:57Speaker 6: you know, like, Jace, this isn't as good as I
- 50:58Speaker 6: thought it would be. And you were like, yeah, but Keezy,
- 51:01Speaker 6: I love it like I love it, Oh you.
- 51:04Speaker 7: Know what I mean?
- 51:04Speaker 6: And you, Mogi, you were struggling to eat it, and
- 51:07Speaker 6: Pugs was hating it. And then I realized that the
- 51:12Speaker 6: hot pot was actually a metaphor for Jason's new boots.
- 51:14Speaker 7: Yeah, and I woke with a start, and I.
- 51:18Speaker 6: Was like, hey, maybe I should apologize because it's not
- 51:20Speaker 6: about what we in the rest of New Zealand thinks
- 51:22Speaker 6: of your boots, Jakes, it's what you think about them.
- 51:24Speaker 5: Yeah, totally, man.
- 51:26Speaker 4: So did you wake up all sweaty?
- 51:27Speaker 8: Did you from your dream?
- 51:29Speaker 4: What?
- 51:30Speaker 7: I was pretty sweaty?
- 51:31Speaker 6: Yeah, it was about eleven fifty nine was.
- 51:35Speaker 4: Oh no, I just wondered if you were immediately because
- 51:37Speaker 4: I tell you what, I after my hot pot last night,
- 51:40Speaker 4: I had a hell of a midnight steamer, right, did you? Yeah?
- 51:43Speaker 4: I did, but that look, you know, and I'll be
- 51:47Speaker 4: honest with you, fellows, in all sincerity. I got a
- 51:49Speaker 4: message from my mate on messenger and he said, Jace, listen, mate,
- 51:53Speaker 4: this is how you deal with the boots situation. You
- 51:55Speaker 4: go to the guys that fix up your shoes what
- 51:58Speaker 4: do you call those? A cobblerbler and you can get
- 52:01Speaker 4: dies for your you know, and you get probably you'll
- 52:04Speaker 4: need to you know.
- 52:06Speaker 8: A die for least very resistant, but you need a
- 52:09Speaker 8: couple of yeah, and.
- 52:11Speaker 4: It's a lot of fun to do. And I was like,
- 52:12Speaker 4: you know what, mate, I'm all good with my boots.
- 52:16Speaker 4: I'm all I'm fine with them. I feel special and
- 52:20Speaker 4: alive when I put those boots on, one hundred percent.
- 52:23Speaker 6: So I just want to say I'm sorry, and I
- 52:24Speaker 6: won't be making fun of your boots from now on, okay,
- 52:27Speaker 6: because as long as you love them, that's all that counts.
- 52:29Speaker 4: Thanks Keys Now.
- 52:29Speaker 1: I on the other hand, the Hidarchy Big Show with
- 52:34Speaker 1: Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kissy Kill.
- 52:37Speaker 4: Jam there on the radio Hold Archy Big Show this
- 52:41Speaker 4: Thursday evening. And you know, fellas, there's been a lot
- 52:44Speaker 4: of chat about my boots, and that's all well, and
- 52:46Speaker 4: good boots. I get my new boots and and I
- 52:50Speaker 4: get that they're a bed out there, and it's made
- 52:53Speaker 4: me sort of look at myself in a different way,
- 52:55Speaker 4: you know what I mean. And fashion wise, I'm getting older,
- 52:58Speaker 4: you know, I pull off, you know, the sort of young,
- 53:04Speaker 4: hep cool guy that I used to back in the day.
- 53:07Speaker 7: He used to pull off a young cool guy.
- 53:09Speaker 4: No, you know what I'm saying is back in the
- 53:11Speaker 4: day I used to be I was pretty. I was
- 53:14Speaker 4: pretty stylely, you know what I mean. As you get,
- 53:18Speaker 4: as you get older, of course, styles change. And last night,
- 53:21Speaker 4: after he came back incidentally from the hot pot with
- 53:24Speaker 4: my beautiful wife, and we were walking along a tier
- 53:28Speaker 4: square there, and my wife took a selfie of.
- 53:30Speaker 7: Us to get a lovely selfie.
- 53:32Speaker 4: But under the lights that are there at the moment,
- 53:34Speaker 4: maybe there's a beautiful little sort of tunnel of stars.
- 53:39Speaker 4: And I was looking at that and going, that's a
- 53:40Speaker 4: lovely photo. And then I sort of looked at it
- 53:42Speaker 4: again and I was like, why am I always wearing
- 53:45Speaker 4: a hat?
- 53:47Speaker 7: You know what I mean?
- 53:47Speaker 4: I'm always got a cap on?
- 53:48Speaker 3: What?
- 53:49Speaker 5: And as you've said to me, I've got a luxurious.
- 53:52Speaker 8: Mane of here.
- 53:54Speaker 4: Ja do I keep covering it up? I don't know.
- 53:57Speaker 4: So I've come to the point now I've made a
- 53:59Speaker 4: sort of fashion decision. I guess you'd say a lifestyle change.
- 54:04Speaker 4: I'm not gonna wear a hat anymore.
- 54:05Speaker 7: Okay, great, I like it because you never used to
- 54:07Speaker 7: wear that hat.
- 54:08Speaker 6: No, because I think you've got obsessed with a Reburger
- 54:11Speaker 6: hat back in the day.
- 54:12Speaker 4: Well, to be honest with you have worn hats all
- 54:14Speaker 4: my life, and I think a part of it is
- 54:16Speaker 4: just sort of covering up my face, you know, and
- 54:18Speaker 4: hiding a little bit.
- 54:20Speaker 8: It's yeah, I think that's a good idea. Are you
- 54:22Speaker 8: going to go with a mask instead, like one of
- 54:24Speaker 8: those sort of COVID masks.
- 54:26Speaker 5: Yeah, I thought, because I tell you what, that's very cool.
- 54:30Speaker 4: On the streets. You see people all the time on
- 54:33Speaker 4: they're like lime scooters with masks on and stuff. It's
- 54:36Speaker 4: kind of cool.
- 54:36Speaker 6: You know what would work well for Jason is probably
- 54:38Speaker 6: you two. Actually Mogi is like a plague doctor mask.
- 54:41Speaker 6: Plague doctor there the ones that had like the really
- 54:43Speaker 6: long sort of beag thing on the front.
- 54:46Speaker 5: Oh yeah, because they've got mass Yeah, Oh my god,
- 54:49Speaker 5: I don't even.
- 54:50Speaker 7: Think of that seriousness.
- 54:53Speaker 6: Man, if I could just get serious for a second here,
- 54:57Speaker 6: I think you should wear his hat.
- 54:58Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, because you did a beautiful because they've also
- 55:00Speaker 4: got a ball patch those my head's at the back
- 55:03Speaker 4: of my head here, it's not because of the hats.
- 55:05Speaker 8: Oh yeah yeah yeah, yeah, yeah. That's been going on
- 55:07Speaker 8: for a while.
- 55:09Speaker 4: Actually, yeah you should.
- 55:11Speaker 7: You should think about where it hats.
- 55:14Speaker 1: Hidarchy Big show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kissy Muse.
- 55:20Speaker 4: There on the radio. Hodarchy beg So sorry, fellas, I
- 55:24Speaker 4: just stuffed my face with a bit of I don't
- 55:26Speaker 4: know what it is that's sort of peach and cream muffin.
- 55:28Speaker 8: Oh yeah, right, anything that's close to you.
- 55:31Speaker 5: Yeah, well, I'm just sort of shoving it in my mouth, Mogi.
- 55:33Speaker 8: Fair enough, a fellas. Just while we're on the subject,
- 55:36Speaker 8: we had a big day today, haven't we raised in
- 55:37Speaker 8: awareness for bowel cancer? Huge day, as you say, Josero,
- 55:43Speaker 8: three point four million dollars.
- 55:46Speaker 4: Earlier.
- 55:47Speaker 8: Yeah, well, some people wanted to get a refund. That
- 55:49Speaker 8: accidentally pushed it twice. Yea. We don't want to people, no,
- 55:53Speaker 8: fair enough, But just in terms of getting yourself checked up,
- 55:57Speaker 8: and then we've talked to ad Nausea and jos about
- 55:58Speaker 8: you've been a little bit reluctant. I probably go to
- 56:00Speaker 8: the doctor too often. Anything's wrong and I'm down there.
- 56:03Speaker 8: But I think the place where that came from is
- 56:04Speaker 8: probably my father. Yes, now, my father he was He
- 56:09Speaker 8: was like you JS taller. Obviously he didn't wear woman's boots.
- 56:14Speaker 8: But there was.
- 56:16Speaker 7: No comment from Kezy on that one, although well done, Magi.
- 56:21Speaker 8: But there were some similarities in the sense that he
- 56:23Speaker 8: didn't like no matter how sick, he got to go
- 56:26Speaker 8: along to the doctor to get it checked out. Yeah. Sure.
- 56:29Speaker 8: One of the occasions that he did go along there. Well,
- 56:33Speaker 8: he didn't go. His wife was really pressure him to
- 56:35Speaker 8: get along because he had blood not in his still,
- 56:40Speaker 8: which can be as symptom keysy as you know of,
- 56:44Speaker 8: but blood and is urine. And he made his wife
- 56:49Speaker 8: aware of this. He was a little bit suss on it.
- 56:51Speaker 8: She said, well, you got to go to the doctor.
- 56:54Speaker 8: And he's sort of procrastinated, delayed, delayed, delayed. Eventually he
- 56:58Speaker 8: was persuaded to go along and he spoke to doctor
- 57:00Speaker 8: as GP. This is a true story. And as GP said, well,
- 57:03Speaker 8: how long has this been going on for? And he
- 57:04Speaker 8: said probably three to four weeks. The dog said, oh,
- 57:08Speaker 8: I don't worry about it happens to me all the time.
- 57:11Speaker 8: Normally stops at around about the six to eight week mark.
- 57:14Speaker 7: Oh my goodness.
- 57:15Speaker 8: So he went home cocker hoop. Yeah, he's singing to himself.
- 57:19Speaker 8: I've got some great advice here from my local. GP
- 57:21Speaker 8: went home and told his missus, I just have to
- 57:24Speaker 8: wait this out. Yeah, and she decided that it was
- 57:28Speaker 8: time to change GPS. So there's medical advice, but then
- 57:31Speaker 8: there's also a gat feeling. Yes, now, if you do
- 57:34Speaker 8: come across a GP that's telling you things that you Yeah,
- 57:37Speaker 8: I don't know. Don't be afraid to get a second opinion.
- 57:40Speaker 6: And also on the Bow Cancer too, which is what
- 57:42Speaker 6: Dane Lee what we've been doing today. If you go
- 57:45Speaker 6: to Bow Cancer their actual what's bew cancer dot com Bell.
- 57:51Speaker 7: Cancer New Zealand. Yeah, you go to their website. I
- 57:54Speaker 7: was just trying to make sure you get that right.
- 57:55Speaker 8: Yeah, you want to get it right.
- 57:56Speaker 7: The information you can get on there.
- 57:57Speaker 6: You can also get yourself one of those home, Yeah,
- 58:00Speaker 6: delivered to your house. So if you go to the
- 58:03Speaker 6: doctor because you've you know, you've got blood in your
- 58:05Speaker 6: stoll or any of the other symptoms, you can actually
- 58:07Speaker 6: check to your GP if they say no, you're fine.
- 58:09Speaker 6: If you want to be extra careful, yes, order one
- 58:11Speaker 6: of those tests and do it at home.
- 58:12Speaker 8: Yeah, bloody good advice then yeah, yeah, absolutely, it's yeah,
- 58:16Speaker 8: it's it's It can be a scary sort of a thing,
- 58:20Speaker 8: but yeah, there's nothing worse, I think than than not
- 58:22Speaker 8: getting checked. Because for me, when I get something that
- 58:25Speaker 8: happens to me, I prefer just to know one way
- 58:27Speaker 8: or the other, Yes, one way or the other, Just
- 58:29Speaker 8: tell me what's going on. We can sort it out.
- 58:31Speaker 8: It's the not knowing Jason, Yeah, yeah, not knowing that's
- 58:35Speaker 8: what gets me.
- 58:36Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, fair enough too, Maggie bloody good point for Hurdarchy.
- 58:41Speaker 1: Big show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kissy.
- 58:53Speaker 5: Well there you go in there.
- 58:54Speaker 4: Ba says, that's a big joke done and dust on this.
- 58:57Speaker 4: There's been an epith day, Fellows, isn't it a day?
- 59:00Speaker 6: Certainly has Jase, just the feeling that we've been raising awareness,
- 59:03Speaker 6: raising funds Bell Cancer New Zealands.
- 59:05Speaker 7: It feels good.
- 59:06Speaker 8: It's one of the team poles of what we do
- 59:08Speaker 8: here at Hodek every single year, and that feels like
- 59:11Speaker 8: our best one yet.
- 59:11Speaker 6: One hundred cent from the top of the Skytower, I've
- 59:14Speaker 6: thoroughly enjoyed it.
- 59:15Speaker 4: And I got to where the skytower hat again. Can
- 59:18Speaker 4: I just say it looks like it was made for you.
- 59:22Speaker 4: I can't help but agree, make be honest with you, Fellas.
- 59:24Speaker 4: Just between the three of us, I'm almost tempted.
- 59:27Speaker 7: To nick it skytower hat from the sky I mean,
- 59:31Speaker 7: I don't.
- 59:31Speaker 4: Even know that they noticed, because it looked like it
- 59:33Speaker 4: was still in the same place where I put it
- 59:34Speaker 4: back when I got to turn the tower on that time.
- 59:37Speaker 6: You know what I mean yeah, but you know you
- 59:38Speaker 6: know the story of that hat, right, Yeah, it's a
- 59:41Speaker 6: hat from the guy who designed and opened the sky tower.
- 59:44Speaker 8: That's his hat, that's right.
- 59:45Speaker 7: And he passed away on the day that it was
- 59:47Speaker 7: meant to open, and so that's like his.
- 59:48Speaker 8: He was an Irish feller and actually fell off the
- 59:50Speaker 8: top as he was cutting the red right, and as
- 59:52Speaker 8: he went down and he plummeted, all you could hear
- 59:54Speaker 8: his final words were fiddled.
- 59:56Speaker 7: D and also look after the hat.
- 59:59Speaker 8: Yeah stuff.
