What's up, Zach? 11 00:00:32.610 --> 00:00:36.840 <v 2>Hey, this is pretty exciting stuff. We're actually pretty close.</v> 12 00:00:36.840 --> 00:00:37.830 Mean 1 0 6 9, 13 00:00:37.830 --> 00:00:42.720 the light is not too far away on a beautiful campus of lots 14 00:00:42.720 --> 00:00:45.900 of rolling hills and mountains and streams. 15 00:00:45.900 --> 00:00:50.880 And so my backyard actually is backed up 16 00:00:50.880 --> 00:00:51.713 against 17 00:00:52.890 --> 00:00:57.180 the tallest mountain in the east coast was a Mount Mitchell. So Mount Mitchell, 18 00:00:57.390 --> 00:01:00.450 you can actually get to the top of Mount Mitchell from my backyard. 19 00:01:00.960 --> 00:01:02.490 And when we got this house, 20 00:01:02.490 --> 00:01:05.880 I heard the story that the guy who owns it before was an old veteran. 21 00:01:06.240 --> 00:01:09.450 He hiked from the backyard up to the top of Mount Mitchell two days. 22 00:01:09.840 --> 00:01:14.460 And so a few years back we put that to test with one of our wheelchair athletes 23 00:01:14.460 --> 00:01:15.720 and we thought, let's give it a shot. 24 00:01:16.080 --> 00:01:20.910 And so we got a wheelchair athlete from our backyard in Marion, near Old Fort, 25 00:01:21.210 --> 00:01:23.850 all the way to top of Mount Mitchell. And it did take us two days, 26 00:01:24.270 --> 00:01:28.590 and we did that without trails for the first day. And then we got up to the, 27 00:01:29.460 --> 00:01:31.050 we'll take the road from here. 28 00:01:32.760 --> 00:01:33.593 <v 1>Yeah.</v> 29 00:01:34.800 --> 00:01:35.633 <v 2>We got there.</v> 30 00:01:36.360 --> 00:01:41.130 <v 1>And I think your story is such a testament to someone listening that you've sort</v> 31 00:01:41.130 --> 00:01:42.000 of alluded to it. 32 00:01:42.630 --> 00:01:47.160 Part of your mission and ministry is to help people in wheelchairs with 33 00:01:47.160 --> 00:01:51.990 disabilities or people that have just got sucked into culture and they wound 34 00:01:51.990 --> 00:01:54.390 up being lazy on their couch. Oh yeah. 35 00:01:54.390 --> 00:01:58.050 You helped them live out dreams that they thought would never be possible. 36 00:01:58.560 --> 00:02:02.760 <v 2>Oh, climbing Mount Mitchell in a wheelchair without a trail is</v> 37 00:02:02.760 --> 00:02:04.140 absolutely crazy. 38 00:02:04.140 --> 00:02:07.260 We did that as a training with a young woman named Erica that we ultimately 39 00:02:07.260 --> 00:02:08.970 went. She went on climbed, 40 00:02:10.500 --> 00:02:15.390 she went to Africa and she climbed Kilimanjaro in a wheelchair. 41 00:02:15.390 --> 00:02:19.590 I mean, the system that we have and how we put these pieces together, 42 00:02:20.730 --> 00:02:22.350 my grandmother's a wheelchair user, 43 00:02:22.350 --> 00:02:25.200 and I was always frustrated that I couldn't get into the woods to go see more 44 00:02:25.200 --> 00:02:26.400 things. And I was a kid. I was like, 45 00:02:26.400 --> 00:02:29.280 I was trying to get her to places and there was just, we couldn't do it. 46 00:02:29.280 --> 00:02:32.730 And so through mountain biking and rock climbing, 47 00:02:33.000 --> 00:02:34.950 I was an outbound instructor actually up a table rock. 48 00:02:34.950 --> 00:02:36.720 So I've been in this area for a long time. 49 00:02:36.720 --> 00:02:41.700 I took my instructor course at Table Rock for out bound back in the nineties. 50 00:02:42.120 --> 00:02:45.540 So I've been coming back to this area and going to summer camps in the area and 51 00:02:45.540 --> 00:02:47.070 just loved the place, 52 00:02:47.670 --> 00:02:52.410 but only in order to find a way to take fatter tires with some 53 00:02:52.470 --> 00:02:55.080 horseback riding skills, stuff with using 54 00:02:56.660 --> 00:02:59.380 the lead lines you used to lead a horse with is what we use to connect to the 55 00:02:59.380 --> 00:03:02.260 wheelchair. I started out with some military friends. 56 00:03:02.260 --> 00:03:05.980 They were using paracord where really thin cord tieds in the wheelchairs and 57 00:03:05.980 --> 00:03:07.450 playing that cuts into your hands. And I thought, 58 00:03:07.990 --> 00:03:10.960 I think there's something easier. Instead of trying to have to tie it, 59 00:03:11.380 --> 00:03:16.360 you can just use a horse lead tractor supply and God and 60 00:03:16.360 --> 00:03:21.160 tie it off. And I was like, was so God's using, I was an okay horseback rider, 61 00:03:21.160 --> 00:03:24.310 but a lot of horseback riding stuff goes into what we're doing. 62 00:03:25.030 --> 00:03:29.080 A lot of the technology from Outward Bound that I got from being a Willis 63 00:03:29.080 --> 00:03:31.060 instructor. So all these different pieces, 64 00:03:31.390 --> 00:03:33.790 and that's what I would encourage people is that, so he might seem like, well, 65 00:03:33.790 --> 00:03:35.470 why do I have this interest? 66 00:03:36.040 --> 00:03:40.330 But if you find joy in it and you find that you practice it and you're using it, 67 00:03:40.330 --> 00:03:44.680 God's not done with you. It might come back around. And that's what I found. 68 00:03:44.680 --> 00:03:48.400 All these pieces have happened from more heart and scars that every part of this 69 00:03:48.400 --> 00:03:50.860 journey, things that I was ashamed of, 70 00:03:51.430 --> 00:03:53.410 I didn't want to even show my hands when I was younger. 71 00:03:53.410 --> 00:03:56.560 I was so embarrassed because if they saw the ends of my fingers were missing, 72 00:03:56.560 --> 00:04:00.220 then they would ask the question and then I would remember the accident 73 00:04:01.840 --> 00:04:03.730 and I wasn't strong enough to do so. 74 00:04:03.730 --> 00:04:07.810 I'd put my hands in my pockets or I would entertain by being so goofy or so 75 00:04:07.810 --> 00:04:11.770 silly or so over the top or distracting, say, 76 00:04:12.490 --> 00:04:13.540 don't pay attention to this. 77 00:04:13.540 --> 00:04:17.920 Don't pay attention to the wounds so you have more heart than scars. 78 00:04:18.490 --> 00:04:20.260 That's ultimately where more heart than scars came from. 79 00:04:20.440 --> 00:04:24.730 My daughter who has a heart defect, we found out that both parts of her heart, 80 00:04:25.360 --> 00:04:29.830 the valves weren't working exactly the way that they were designed. And at some 81 00:04:29.830 --> 00:04:33.460 point she might have to have corrective surgery or we just have to be aware of 82 00:04:33.460 --> 00:04:36.250 it. They said, don't worry, but if she ever gets tired, 83 00:04:36.250 --> 00:04:39.910 bring her to the hospital. That's been great. She's 14 years old. 84 00:04:39.910 --> 00:04:43.570 And we were like, just don't worry, but pay attention. 85 00:04:43.870 --> 00:04:46.600 So that's been a lot of praying to do that. 86 00:04:46.600 --> 00:04:50.770 But now she's been out there doing races with us. In fact, we did an April 7th, 87 00:04:50.770 --> 00:04:52.420 we carried a couch through a race. 88 00:04:52.420 --> 00:04:56.590 I was working at a program here in North Carolina with two young men. 89 00:04:57.940 --> 00:05:01.630 Dalton was a big guy, sweet kid. And he's like, Hey, 90 00:05:01.630 --> 00:05:02.950 I kind of want to do a Spartan race, 91 00:05:03.010 --> 00:05:06.250 but I think I might be too overweight or not fit enough. I'm like, 92 00:05:06.250 --> 00:05:09.100 it doesn't matter. You just keep him with a wheelchair. Let's make a plan. 93 00:05:09.100 --> 00:05:12.970 Let's go do the race and came back to work. I'm like, where's Dalton? 94 00:05:13.090 --> 00:05:15.580 And it turns out that Dalton had passed away. 95 00:05:15.850 --> 00:05:17.410 He overdosed and related to Fentanyl. 96 00:05:20.440 --> 00:05:23.050 And so his buddy, Chris, who I worked with, he and I talked, said, well, 97 00:05:23.200 --> 00:05:25.060 let's do a race. Let's do a race. And I went, 98 00:05:25.120 --> 00:05:28.180 spoke to the funeral from Dalton group of friends. He said, 99 00:05:28.270 --> 00:05:30.550 we want to carry a couch through a race for Dalton. 100 00:05:30.610 --> 00:05:33.520 And Chris and I were talking about making plans to do that. 101 00:05:33.520 --> 00:05:35.410 Chris was his best friend and they were both in their twenties. 102 00:05:35.980 --> 00:05:39.580 And then before Chris and I got to Chris also overdose found. 103 00:05:40.330 --> 00:05:42.340 So at his funeral I said, we're going to carry a couch. 104 00:05:42.340 --> 00:05:44.440 And I met with his family. His family came up, 105 00:05:44.440 --> 00:05:47.830 and both some of the Dalton family and Chris's family went through Charlotte, 106 00:05:48.070 --> 00:05:48.640 April 7th. 107 00:05:48.640 --> 00:05:52.180 We carried a couch all the way through the race representing for those people 108 00:05:52.180 --> 00:05:55.960 that are stuck on that couch or those that we've lost. 109 00:05:57.110 --> 00:05:58.310 And that couch, 110 00:05:58.880 --> 00:06:03.500 that comfort has become an absolute epidemic because 111 00:06:03.830 --> 00:06:08.120 in the desire just to deal with all the stress we have coming at, 112 00:06:08.120 --> 00:06:09.500 if we're bombarded with all the stress, 113 00:06:09.500 --> 00:06:13.310 and sometimes you just shut down and the comfortability of that couch, 114 00:06:13.310 --> 00:06:17.960 and either it's remote control to your television or your video games or your 115 00:06:17.960 --> 00:06:21.320 phone in your hand, people just begin to get into a 116 00:06:22.940 --> 00:06:26.270 play life instead of real life. So they're watching other people play sports, 117 00:06:26.450 --> 00:06:27.283 which is fine. 118 00:06:27.320 --> 00:06:32.060 It's okay to watch a football game if all of a sudden you're betting 119 00:06:32.240 --> 00:06:36.170 your family, all the money saved on your fantasy football league, 120 00:06:36.350 --> 00:06:39.770 because now gambling is easy on television for football, that becomes a problem. 121 00:06:39.770 --> 00:06:42.830 So it starts out, it's a fine idea in a little bit, 122 00:06:43.610 --> 00:06:48.080 a pizza, some nachos, a couch time with your family, great. 123 00:06:48.560 --> 00:06:51.230 But when it becomes your ordering your food online, 124 00:06:51.830 --> 00:06:56.390 you're having simulated food. It's not even real food. It's not real connection. 125 00:06:56.690 --> 00:07:00.740 So people are watching other people in relationships rather than relating to 126 00:07:00.740 --> 00:07:03.920 their own people and their family and they're thinking, oh, I'm on my phone. 127 00:07:03.920 --> 00:07:04.760 I must be relating. 128 00:07:05.810 --> 00:07:10.700 We put this video screen in front 129 00:07:10.700 --> 00:07:15.110 of us that I think of that verse of when I was a child, when I looked, 130 00:07:15.710 --> 00:07:18.920 now I saw on Am Mirror. But now I see face-to face that the mirror, 131 00:07:18.920 --> 00:07:22.310 that reflective thing, it's not real. 132 00:07:22.340 --> 00:07:23.930 It's an illusion, 133 00:07:23.930 --> 00:07:28.550 fantasy based thing that is so addictive that people can get caught on that 134 00:07:28.550 --> 00:07:32.900 couch through a variety of things. So it seems like in moderation it'd be fine, 135 00:07:33.200 --> 00:07:36.470 but nothing in our society right now feels like it's in moderation. No. 136 00:07:37.130 --> 00:07:38.450 <v 1>Right. Absolutely.</v> 137 00:07:38.810 --> 00:07:41.120 <v 2>And we're marketed it to,</v> 138 00:07:42.140 --> 00:07:44.240 as CS Lewis talked about when we talked about the sin problem, 139 00:07:44.240 --> 00:07:48.260 he was saying that it's ever increasing desire with ever diminishing pleasure. 140 00:07:49.010 --> 00:07:51.020 And that's what we're getting into. It's like, well, 141 00:07:51.020 --> 00:07:54.200 we used to be a couple piece of pizzas. Well, now it's a whole pizza. 142 00:07:55.400 --> 00:07:58.730 I used to drink a couple sodas, now I'm drinking a two liter or two liters. 143 00:07:59.000 --> 00:08:01.550 It was just a couple of beers. Now it's a case. 144 00:08:01.580 --> 00:08:04.280 Now it's just more and more and more. 145 00:08:04.280 --> 00:08:07.370 So we're thrown at the message if you take more of everything. 146 00:08:07.370 --> 00:08:11.960 And so our anti message to the more stuff is to have more heart, 147 00:08:12.860 --> 00:08:14.960 to have more faith. You're going to have fear 148 00:08:17.210 --> 00:08:21.140 and the television and the news and all the different things that people look at 149 00:08:21.140 --> 00:08:25.580 gets people more afraid. Just image one after the other of shiny, 150 00:08:25.580 --> 00:08:30.110 scary things just doom scrolling. And so the numbers of people that are 151 00:08:30.320 --> 00:08:34.040 depressed, that are overweight, that are isolated, 152 00:08:35.180 --> 00:08:38.270 that don't feel like they have any meaningful connections or relationships, 153 00:08:38.270 --> 00:08:41.000 but yet they're so busy with stuff, 154 00:08:42.500 --> 00:08:47.150 but they're not busy in the stuff of real life and real life is messy. 155 00:08:47.720 --> 00:08:50.600 And so we're asking people on August 3rd, 156 00:08:50.600 --> 00:08:53.300 they can look us up through more heart than scars, 157 00:08:53.450 --> 00:08:58.260 just more heart than scars.org. That's one way to get us on just the website, 158 00:08:58.500 --> 00:09:01.020 but also, or just your couch.org. 159 00:09:01.020 --> 00:09:03.870 We're connected that we're going to get a couch. 160 00:09:03.870 --> 00:09:07.980 And so we need people to pray for us to get the right people to come 161 00:09:09.660 --> 00:09:14.520 when they show up at that race to carry the couch through. One thing, 162 00:09:14.530 --> 00:09:18.660 I have to say that the quiet that happened to the crowd when Chris's mother and 163 00:09:18.660 --> 00:09:22.140 I were on the front of the couch holding over our shoulders and we carried it, 164 00:09:22.200 --> 00:09:26.730 it was like a coffin through that race. And when people understood what we're 165 00:09:26.730 --> 00:09:31.650 doing, everyone just got silent because everybody has been affected by this. 166 00:09:31.650 --> 00:09:33.330 Everybody has got a friend, 167 00:09:33.330 --> 00:09:37.980 a husband or wife or a kid that's stuck in addiction or depression or 168 00:09:37.980 --> 00:09:42.030 isolation or just stuck in whether sin or stuck in 169 00:09:42.300 --> 00:09:46.920 sadness or they've lost somebody related to 170 00:09:46.920 --> 00:09:51.630 addiction, whether that's alcoholism, which is slow compared to how fentanyl is. 171 00:09:53.460 --> 00:09:54.570 Fentanyl is a, 172 00:09:55.380 --> 00:09:59.400 once they've figured out a way to make heroin 10,000 times more powerful, 173 00:09:59.760 --> 00:10:00.593 that's great. 174 00:10:01.290 --> 00:10:05.280 If your surgeon has to have you put you under for a life serving procedure to 175 00:10:05.280 --> 00:10:08.070 have that medication that can work exactly like that, slows your breathing down, 176 00:10:08.250 --> 00:10:09.660 manages the pain, puts you out. 177 00:10:10.020 --> 00:10:14.250 That's great if a surgeon and an 178 00:10:14.250 --> 00:10:18.870 anesthesiologist and a nurse is there with you ready to do it. 179 00:10:19.560 --> 00:10:22.410 But if you do that in your own home, you die with a needle in your arm 180 00:10:23.910 --> 00:10:25.290 and now it's, 181 00:10:25.470 --> 00:10:28.920 it's being brought. That medication has now been broken down and changed in 182 00:10:28.920 --> 00:10:31.830 format. So people are thinking they're just getting a regular painkiller, 183 00:10:31.830 --> 00:10:32.880 but it could have fentanyl in it. 184 00:10:33.270 --> 00:10:34.920 They're thinking they're just getting some marijuana, 185 00:10:34.920 --> 00:10:39.760 but even marijuana can now be misted with this stuff because if they have 186 00:10:39.930 --> 00:10:44.400 a poor quality product, if they soup it up with the fentanyl, 187 00:10:45.540 --> 00:10:47.850 they get more of an effect and it's cheaper. 188 00:10:48.360 --> 00:10:53.070 And so it almost by design a darkness that we've never seen 189 00:10:53.070 --> 00:10:57.750 before, that somebody can go from having a back pain to taking some pills. Oh, 190 00:10:57.750 --> 00:11:01.800 I'll just get something else. Or a kid experimenting. When I was younger, 191 00:11:01.800 --> 00:11:04.830 if we experimented, some bad things happened. There were some horror stories. 192 00:11:05.160 --> 00:11:07.050 But now the horror stories is a reality. 193 00:11:07.050 --> 00:11:11.370 So the number of suicides that are happening for young people, 194 00:11:12.990 --> 00:11:15.480 the amount of exposure to 195 00:11:17.730 --> 00:11:21.060 when we were younger, we talked about, oh, pornographic magazines. Well, 196 00:11:21.060 --> 00:11:22.170 that was a problem. Well, 197 00:11:23.580 --> 00:11:26.340 what the kids are exposed to on their phones. 198 00:11:27.510 --> 00:11:32.040 So if you take all that together of Let's Kill the Pain 199 00:11:34.020 --> 00:11:37.620 by Trying to Kill the pain, sorry about that, we're actually, 200 00:11:37.740 --> 00:11:42.060 we're killing ourselves. That is the truth of it, 201 00:11:42.060 --> 00:11:46.260 is that you can't get rid of the pain and the suffering by anesthetizing if 202 00:11:46.260 --> 00:11:49.440 there's not enough junk food in the world to take away the broken heart. 203 00:11:50.640 --> 00:11:55.630 You need the light and love of God and the embrace of your 204 00:11:55.630 --> 00:12:00.580 brothers and sisters in real life accepting you as you are where 205 00:12:00.580 --> 00:12:04.510 you are meeting you and lifting you up over and through the struggles. 206 00:12:05.260 --> 00:12:09.370 It is in the mess of the Spartan race that we do this. 207 00:12:10.930 --> 00:12:15.550 <v 1>So you're looking for people to help carry a couch at this Spartan race</v> 208 00:12:15.730 --> 00:12:18.850 in Asheville on August 3rd, right? Yeah. Tell me. 209 00:12:18.850 --> 00:12:21.010 <v 2>More about that. First super. That is a super,</v> 210 00:12:21.010 --> 00:12:24.900 it's going to be six miles of race. There's three sets of races. 211 00:12:24.910 --> 00:12:28.300 There's a 5K, which is a sprint. We've already done that with the couch. 212 00:12:28.600 --> 00:12:32.350 Then there's a super, which is a six mile, and then there's a 12 mile beast. 213 00:12:32.350 --> 00:12:35.200 And if you do all three in a year, you win this thing called a trifecta. 214 00:12:35.200 --> 00:12:36.033 So we want to, 215 00:12:36.760 --> 00:12:40.870 our crazy goal is to carry a couch through a Spartan trifecta this year. 216 00:12:41.860 --> 00:12:45.910 So we want to get up to a hundred people to come and to take turns carrying the 217 00:12:45.910 --> 00:12:50.590 couch through it with us. It doesn't matter how fit you are, where you're at it, 218 00:12:50.590 --> 00:12:54.160 where you can rotate through people. And when people sign up through your couch, 219 00:12:54.550 --> 00:12:56.290 you can get Spartan loved. 220 00:12:56.290 --> 00:12:58.270 We're doing so much that if you make a donation to us, 221 00:12:58.330 --> 00:13:02.680 they'll give you a race code to race with us. So for a hundred dollars donation, 222 00:13:02.950 --> 00:13:05.350 you can do a Spartan race list, you'll get your T-shirt, you come out there. 223 00:13:05.350 --> 00:13:09.370 But there's also a way to get a, we're coming for your couch t-shirt to show up. 224 00:13:09.370 --> 00:13:12.220 So we need people to show up to race with us. 225 00:13:12.310 --> 00:13:14.320 We need people to pray for us in what we're doing, 226 00:13:14.590 --> 00:13:19.120 or we need people to donate through more heart than scars either way, 227 00:13:20.320 --> 00:13:23.800 or all three show up, carry the couch, do the race. 228 00:13:23.920 --> 00:13:27.610 It's so fun when we're going through the race and people turn back and they see 229 00:13:27.610 --> 00:13:31.680 a couch come and they're like, oh, what is this? 230 00:13:33.520 --> 00:13:37.240 It's funny. And then they get it, and then it's sad and it's joyful. And 231 00:13:38.800 --> 00:13:41.710 we brought it through all the obstacles. When there's a bucket carry, 232 00:13:41.710 --> 00:13:43.000 we have the couch on our shoulders. 233 00:13:43.000 --> 00:13:47.980 We put the 50 pound buckets up on the couch. We had to take it up 234 00:13:47.980 --> 00:13:50.680 over the walls. We took it over the walls, we took it through. 235 00:13:50.680 --> 00:13:53.380 And so all these obstacles in life that throw at us, 236 00:13:53.680 --> 00:13:55.570 what we're saying the real good news is yes, 237 00:13:55.570 --> 00:13:59.620 there's good news that there is a forever redemption story that we can be a part 238 00:13:59.620 --> 00:14:00.910 of to have eternal life. 239 00:14:01.630 --> 00:14:05.470 But the good news of Christ is that he loves this in this present moment, 240 00:14:05.470 --> 00:14:09.070 in the Mess for life and wants to be with you now to improve where you are, 241 00:14:09.070 --> 00:14:11.080 no matter how stuck you are, 242 00:14:12.580 --> 00:14:17.320 so that you don't need to try to lean into something synthetic 243 00:14:17.890 --> 00:14:22.360 or fake to fill a real need. 244 00:14:23.530 --> 00:14:27.280 My favorite idea about Jesus is that after he came back to the disciples, 245 00:14:27.280 --> 00:14:28.990 after he was resurrected and he came talking to them, 246 00:14:29.290 --> 00:14:31.570 that the guys went back their jobs, 247 00:14:31.810 --> 00:14:36.550 they went back. There's Jesus on the shore cooking for them, 248 00:14:36.910 --> 00:14:41.350 feeding their physical needs to. And for my next trick, 249 00:14:42.320 --> 00:14:46.870 what else? What do I need to do? I see you're still afraid, 250 00:14:47.080 --> 00:14:51.830 but here's some fish and chips. How about you get back in the fight? 251 00:14:51.830 --> 00:14:56.720 So that sense of humor and the joy is definitely a 252 00:14:56.720 --> 00:14:58.880 part of what we're doing. So I never thought that 253 00:15:00.470 --> 00:15:04.490 getting beard calendars to veterans to give 'em some help that Walter Reed would 254 00:15:04.490 --> 00:15:09.470 turn into being this 11 year ministry of connecting 255 00:15:09.470 --> 00:15:13.520 from Saudi Arabia to Wales, to Africa, all across the United States. 256 00:15:15.290 --> 00:15:17.090 And we are a social media presence. 257 00:15:17.090 --> 00:15:20.270 And one of the things you can do if you are stuck on that couch, 258 00:15:20.450 --> 00:15:24.170 look us up more heart than scar, use our social media. 259 00:15:24.170 --> 00:15:29.120 And if you tune into that, you're going to see funny, wholesome, ridiculous, 260 00:15:29.120 --> 00:15:30.050 beautiful, 261 00:15:30.050 --> 00:15:34.130 challenging content that by liking it and sharing it, 262 00:15:34.430 --> 00:15:37.580 you might be reaching out to somebody else that's stuck on their couch to work. 263 00:15:37.580 --> 00:15:41.210 The effort to go from being a couch potato that's laying down a class one couch 264 00:15:41.210 --> 00:15:45.530 potato to a class two where you sit up and you're sitting up, 265 00:15:45.530 --> 00:15:46.640 you're getting ready to go. 266 00:15:46.640 --> 00:15:49.850 And a class three is you're standing up and find the class fours you're asking 267 00:15:49.850 --> 00:15:54.800 people to do is to lift that couch up for others. And any one of us, I mean, 268 00:15:54.800 --> 00:15:57.410 I just went through some physical health stuff that knocked my butt down. 269 00:15:57.410 --> 00:15:59.840 I've been on the couch the past two weeks with vertigo, 270 00:16:00.200 --> 00:16:04.100 just holding onto the thing, just praying to just not to be dizzy, 271 00:16:04.400 --> 00:16:08.150 to be able to make it through. And so that depression comes in 272 00:16:09.770 --> 00:16:13.940 and it can happen to any one of us, any an injury, a surgery, 273 00:16:14.390 --> 00:16:17.870 income to painkillers, incomes to comfort, 274 00:16:18.800 --> 00:16:21.860 and you're just not feeling like it. And even Netflix will say to me, 275 00:16:21.860 --> 00:16:24.950 are you still watching? Like, oh yeah, 276 00:16:26.200 --> 00:16:30.890 that's not good. I've gone too far. But when you're sick. 277 00:16:31.160 --> 00:16:32.540 But that's how the devil does, 278 00:16:32.840 --> 00:16:37.760 is it divides us and shows that other people at their 279 00:16:37.760 --> 00:16:40.730 best, when you're feeling at your worst, when you're sitting in your own cave, 280 00:16:41.810 --> 00:16:45.800 feeling isolated, alone and out of shape, unwanted, unloved, 281 00:16:46.160 --> 00:16:50.000 incapable, you see shiny people doing beautiful things in bikinis 282 00:16:52.370 --> 00:16:55.910 in The Bahamas, and you're thinking, oh man, I'm in a single wide with, 283 00:16:57.780 --> 00:17:00.050 I can barely pay my rent or I'm barely in college. 284 00:17:00.590 --> 00:17:03.530 It doesn't matter what your realities, what's going on, how you might feel. 285 00:17:03.830 --> 00:17:07.700 You're seeing a projected image that has been 286 00:17:08.090 --> 00:17:11.960 manufactured in a way to make you to want more of that 287 00:17:12.740 --> 00:17:14.240 without ever filling your cup. 288 00:17:14.930 --> 00:17:17.570 <v 1>Yeah. Again, what was the website one more time?</v> 289 00:17:18.350 --> 00:17:19.580 <v 2>Your couch.org.</v> 290 00:17:22.160 --> 00:17:24.290 <v 1>And more heart than scars.org. And you'll find 294 00:17:35.480 --> 00:17:40.190 from watching a wheelchair athlete climb a mountain to a group of misfits 295 00:17:41.030 --> 00:17:45.080 flying in the mud together.
