  all know, it's been fun, but then on top of that diving into

  Mythic plus, and this season's affix is just fun.

  It is all about, do what you can to kill them all, get that

  stacking buff and then be in permanent lust.

  nuts. And as a as a Ode to shadowlands

  just I can't bring myself to jump in and do it because I've

  got so much going on with wrath, like preparations for wrath

  Like I've got my Shaman at level cap, that's going great, that's

  going fine. But I still have like, there's

  just so much that I still have to do to prepare for what I want

  to tear myself away from it to go step into these raids because

  like I want like yeah, I want the mount but that's like the

  only reason that I wouldn't go back.

  mount doesn't really look that good so like I'm not I'm just

  the alpha this week, but what I did play, it's shaping out.

  Well, I love that. I don't, it's my little
• 4:34
  giddiness. Every time I see a new UI update
• 4:37
  and change. Now, that the map is actually
• 4:39
  being able to be switched around that additional things are being
• 4:42
  adjusted. Oh man, it's great.

  And of course, more stuff this week.

  So I guess we should talk about some of the news because one
• 4:53
  thing that, you know, because I'm loving the raid, I'm loving
• 4:58
  the Mythic plus, but there's a bit of complaining from the PVP
• 5:02
  Community because they were not getting the same Unbound,
• 5:08
  Freedom as it were that the people in raids and in Mythic
• 5:14
  place where the PVE end of it. So, Came out late this week
• 5:20
  saying that the with the reset that's coming on Tuesday, the
• 5:25
  conquest cap for season 4 is going to be removed and that
• 5:30
  means that you will be able to get more than 550 Conquest per
• 5:36
  week and just use that to buy up Gear to to get like the best
• 5:44
  year as quickly. As you can rack up those points.
• 5:48
  There is still the to K cap so you can only hold two k at a
• 5:54
  time but spend it and just get more as well.
• 5:58
  There are the rising cap that was going week-to-week is now
• 6:02
  gone. Now, this actually poses a
• 6:05
  little bit of a complication in a way because With the conquest
• 6:13
  cap removed. If you are trying to get in
• 6:17
  late, you are going to be very behind and until you get
• 6:24
  everything that Conquest can get you, there is a chance that you
• 6:28
  could walk into teams. And it's unlikely because you
• 6:32
  know your MMR shouldn't be that bad but you could walk into a
• 6:35
  team that just has spent more Conquest than you and has better
• 6:39
  gear than you and you're going to have a bad time especially
• 6:43
  when you rise to higher rating and the weekly cap was a way of
• 6:50
  restraining that to stop to stop.
• 6:52
  The people who were at the high end from getting too far ahead.
• 6:56
  The same is also true in terms of PVP to PVE if you go in PvP
• 7:06
  and that cap is gone. Yeah you could spend a day let's
• 7:09
  say you just no life it for a day and get a ton of gear very
• 7:14
  deterministic gear but in the course of a week of rating there
• 7:20
  are only so many bosses that you can kill and The Faded affix
• 7:23
  depending on the dungeon. And there's only a chance at
• 7:28
  that and you get your lockout. So if you get insanely lucky and
• 7:33
  every boss drops gear for you in sanctum, then that's 11 bosses I
• 7:39
  believe. Yeah, I think so 11 pieces of
• 7:43
  gear. But somebody can correct me.
• 7:47
  I know that SFO is 10, but say, sot, I don't quite remember
• 7:53
  exactly. I believe it was 11 but again,
• 7:55
  you are limited with the amount of gear, so I guess that puts
• 7:59
  Mythic plus and PVP about the same tier.

  But rating, seems to be once again, kind of lagging behind.

  Yeah, I mean, you have your the dinar right?
• 8:12
  Like that you can use to purchase.
• 8:14
  Directly from the from the vendors but that's only three
• 8:17
  pieces so and you can't get it yet.

  Your first, your first one requires that you kill 30 unique
• 8:23
  bosses and we've only only had enough to get 20 ish, right?
• 8:29
  If you killed everything last week and have killed everything
• 8:32
  this week. Next week will be the first time
• 8:34
  that you're actually able to buy a piece using that engineer.
• 8:38
  Meanwhile, Conquest you could buy every piece by Tuesday.

  Yeah. Yeah, it seems.

  Seems, I don't know. I've, I like that they're doing
• 8:50
  this for this season, but it does.

  It does raise a huge question as to like, what gearing is going
• 8:58
  to look like going forward into into the nice expansion and

  expansions Beyond because I don't see that question because
• 9:06
  well, but hear me out. We have a we have a system
• 9:13
  already in place. That incentivizes going into
• 9:18
  gear up through Mythic plus, not necessarily for PVP, like, PVP
• 9:23
  still is kind of a separate thing like this.
• 9:26
  This season is obviously a like, it stands out as as a unique
• 9:33
  season, and I don't think that they're going to, they're going
• 9:36
  to look to replicate this. Exactly as it is going into the
• 9:42
  future, but it does. It does raise questions about
• 9:47
  like, how much, how much like cross-play between the different
• 9:51
  in gameplay modes, do they want to have or feels good for the
• 9:57
  majority of the playerbase? Because I know for me, I know in
• 10:02
  the back of my mind that Mythic plus is the best way to gear up
• 10:06
  for in-game PVE content. 10th period, like Bar.
• 10:10
  None, it is the best. To a point.
• 10:15
  Okay, right, I'm going to throw a nuanced back in because I was
• 10:17
  about this. That's about to come down.
• 10:20
  It's to a point like until you start clearing the raid every
• 10:25
  week on Mythic difficulty and you are getting pieces of gear
• 10:31
  that are that are higher than what you can get from your
• 10:34
  weekend, Mythic Vault options, Mythic plus Volta options.
• 10:40
  I should say I should clarify that once you Getting gear from
• 10:45
  the Mythic raids then like the the value of the Mythic plus
• 10:50
  gear that you're able to obtain kind of falls off.
• 10:53
  But until you get to that point where you're consistently
• 10:56
  killing Mythic bosses, you're still better off.
• 11:01
  Getting just getting as much gear as you can and fishing for
• 11:05
  the exact stats that you want off the app, that gear out of
• 11:09
  Mythic plus and dumping your Valor into it.
• 11:12
  And And like with this uncapping of Conquest points like you're
• 11:18
  absolutely right. Like you could just take a like
• 11:21
  a couple of days and just go through and buy up as much gear
• 11:25
  as you can grinding conquest. Yeah, yeah.
• 11:29
  So here's here's where I push back, right?
• 11:35
  Yeah. There has been historically.
• 11:37
  This issue with Mythic Plus Cannibalizing gearing options in
• 11:43
  raid. Now it's very, very pronounced
• 11:47
  for a player like you. And for me, where we were like
• 11:51
  me, yeah, for players who do a OTC where the even the end of
• 11:58
  run Mythic Plus at a 15 will be better than what you're getting
• 12:04
  out of heroic. However, that is a very small
• 12:08
  subsection of players who do not delve into Mythic yet, still
• 12:13
  cap. Out the end of season Mythic
• 12:17
  Plus at a high rate. That's not even everybody in the
• 12:20
  teams that we play. That is not everybody.
• 12:24
  The teams that we play with. That is not everybody in Timber
• 12:27
  more Tavern. That is certainly not everybody
• 12:29
  and get your crit together. That's not everybody, even in
• 12:32
  the great groups that we play with.
• 12:34
  And that means that you feel, the pressure that the gear is
• 12:39
  disproportionately valued because of its higher item level
• 12:43
  than what you would normally get Get out of raid and you're not
• 12:46
  seeing quick dives into Mythic content if at all for the Mythic
• 12:53
  level players, it falls out of favor quite quickly because
• 12:58
  they're constantly pushing through Mythic and they're doing
• 13:00
  multiple bosses. And the Mythic level gear is
• 13:05
  something that they'll get multiple times in a week where
• 13:07
  they'll only get something at that level once a week from
• 13:11
  Mythic plus. So, I think that When we talk
• 13:16
  about this, we have to be very careful about like, where our
• 13:19
  particular position is. Yeah, yeah, you're you're
• 13:23
  absolutely right on that but they're still still from the
• 13:29
  players that that aren't, you know, capping out there there
• 13:34
  Mythic plus runs within the first, like, one to two weeks of
• 13:39
  a, of a new season starting. They still feel like they're
• 13:43
  falling behind. Behind because they're not doing
• 13:47
  that level of Mythic plus. Because they see, they see the
• 13:51
  other people in their team that are more like more like us that
• 13:56
  are going through and doing Mythic plus alongside rating and
• 14:01
  are getting these, you know, huge upgrades and there.
• 14:08
  They're seeing the potential in it and feeling bad that they're
• 14:12
  not at that level or that they don't have access to the to the
• 14:16
  gear at the same rate that that the other players have it.
• 14:19
  So it's what they do. It's weird though, it's it's me
• 14:22
  the new sleep. They do assure and it's a
• 14:26
  disproportionately represented social pressure.
• 14:29
  Right now, you've you and I didn't do Mythic plus, we would
• 14:35
  have players like Like like bonus, who are news, doing
• 14:41
  Mythic Plus getting the year and then you would see much like in
• 14:45
  any rate, the people who are like pulling out all the stops
• 14:49
  are constantly there in the the top 5 of parses and and doing
• 14:54
  well, where the people who are closer to rage logging, lets us
• 14:58
  use the disparity of somebody who's read logging for somebody,
• 15:00
  who's pulling. All the stops are never, are not
• 15:03
  going to be, is doing that. Because the amount of gear His
• 15:07
  help but also the attitude helps, the people who are
• 15:10
  playing like that likely or very familiar with their class and
• 15:15
  their spec and how to min max, where the people who are not
• 15:18
  doing that are more likely of the mindset that aren't as
• 15:22
  familiar and it has a magnification effect.
• 15:25
  It really cause it's like, when you see like the top spec in
• 15:29
  parses. Yeah, the best players moved to
• 15:32
  the top spec, right? That compounds the The issue,
• 15:37
  same thing. Yeah here where the where the
• 15:40
  players who are really invested are getting better gear are more
• 15:45
  knowledgeable and it comes pounds, the effect so you might
• 15:48
  not be doing mythoclast. And you see, right?
• 15:52
  Let's just let's just say, bonus.
• 15:54
  Baba is going to be our Fall Guy for this episode.

  You see bonus bonus, Papa, pulling damage and you're like,
• 16:02
  oh man. And then you look at his gear
• 16:03
  and you're like, oh man, and where is he getting this gear
• 16:05
  from its Mythic Us. But you're also not looking at
• 16:09
  like how much he was really trying to get in the this little
• 16:15
  bit of damage here and how he did all of these changes to his
• 16:20
  rotation in order to to get there and how he switched to
• 16:25
  like a completely different spec.
• 16:27
  So now he's a mage, this tear versus a monk last year
• 16:30
  whatever. Mmm, to get the best performing
• 16:33
  and all adds up and you just see that bonus.
• 16:35
  Papa does myth. Vic plus puts it in in Guild and
• 16:39
  he makes you feel bad but that's not Mythic plus his fault.
• 16:43
  That's not bonuses. Fault, that is just a, a Delta
• 16:47
  of players and their enthusiasm and interaction with the game.
• 16:52
  And I think, I think that's where I really push back against
• 16:56
  this. Yes, these options are available
• 16:59
  and yes, if you Avail yourself of them, you are going to get a
• 17:04
  bit of advantage of the people over the people who But the
• 17:09
  raids are not tuned so that you need to be doing Mythic Plus in
• 17:13
  order to get there. So it's not a, you're forced to
• 17:17
  do it. You are doing it.
• 17:19
  Keep up with the Joneses, you are doing it because bonus Papa
• 17:22
  makes us all look bad and bad on bonus for it, right?
• 17:26
  But if your, if your job is to is to dig a hole cutting, but
• 17:31
  you rather come in, it's a game. It's not a job.
• 17:34
  Well, I'm just making an analogy here.
• 17:37
  I know if your job is to is to dig a hole, are you gonna do it
• 17:41
  with a spade or you're going to do it with a stick like getting
• 17:46
  paid properly? You're getting paid per hole.
• 17:50
  Dug then! Yes, I'm going to use the most
• 17:52
  efficient the stuff to get it done.
• 17:54
  Okay. So then the most efficient way
• 17:56
  to go into rating is to get as much gear outside of rating as
• 18:00
  you can and that's that's where the issue is.
• 18:05
  Because the more the better gear that you have going into a raid,
• 18:10
  the better. Or just the more efficient that
• 18:14
  you're going to be at completing that raid right?
• 18:18
  Mmm. So it feels bad to go in.
• 18:26
  Under prepared. If that makes sense.
• 18:28
  Like if you're going in, but you're not under prepared.
• 18:31
  You've now, broken your analogy. The rate is not tuned for you to
• 18:35
  have completed, a bunch of Mythic place before going into
• 18:38
  it. You are not under prepared, you
• 18:41
  are not under beard, but your argument is saying that It's
• 18:47
  ignoring the fact that you do get a huge bonus from going in
• 18:54
  with, with better gear like it. You don't get a huge bonus.
• 18:59
  You get in. Please, you get, you get a
• 19:02
  bonus, but that bonus is being warped by the fact that the
• 19:06
  people most likely taking advantage of that bonus are most
• 19:10
  likely also rereading and being very on top of what the best
• 19:15
  stuff for their. And rotation is our most likely,
• 19:19
  choosing the specs and such to perform better and are most
• 19:24
  likely doing a bunch of other things.
• 19:27
  Outside the raid than just getting better gear than you.
• 19:31
  And by doing Mythic plus, they are more practice with all of
• 19:34
  those things. And so it warps it.
• 19:39
  That was my point. My other point was that the raid
• 19:43
  doesn't require the balance. And so you and everybody who you
• 19:49
  read with, have no obligation to do Mythic plus, and if you are
• 19:54
  there, if your job and the pay that you get is having an hour
• 19:59
  or two of fun with your teammates with your ray team.

  Then it doesn't matter if you kill one boss or two in that in
• 20:08
  that our matters that you had fun.

  If your fun is dependent on everybody being as prepared as
• 20:17
  they are. Then I don't think you're in the
• 20:20
  äôt mindset, you may be pushing towards a Mythic mindset.

  Sure. And none of that is forced upon
• 20:29
  you by the game. now, but there is a there is a tipping scale,
• 20:33
  where like you have situations where you're just beating your
• 20:40
  head against a boss for weeks on end and Those moments.

  For some players can be not fun and getting as much gear as you
• 20:54
  can getting, as much assistance as you can from other places
• 21:01
  goes a long way with it. But I mean, this is this is a
• 21:06
  huge discussion that all started from talking about uncapping,
• 21:11
  uncapping Conquest. Oh yeah for sure thing.
• 21:14
  But our cake was into that comes with that but before we return
• 21:17
  to that we like We open this can of worms, right?
• 21:21
  Let's put it too bad, right? I agree with you beating your
• 21:25
  head up against the wall can be incredibly frustrating for a
• 21:29
  raid team for individuals on that team, right?
• 21:32
  I would say that more than likely learning the actual
• 21:40
  encounter in a PVE setting is going to be the is going to be
• 21:46
  the Breakthrough point. I would say that.

  Yes, sometimes you do run into something that is a DPS check or
• 21:56
  some sort of gear check where yes, you'll need that.

  But you one of 20 30 people Getting a couple of drops over
• 22:11
  the week to increase your item level by what 24 points you
• 22:17
  think that's going to be the Difference Maker.
• 22:20
  Or do you think it's going to be collectively as a team?
• 22:23
  Maybe all of you on an average increase your item level, which
• 22:28
  is a completely different team dynamic, or you change your, the
• 22:34
  way that you're going about the fight and you find a better way
• 22:37
  to do it, and Typically, I think one of those comes faster and
• 22:41
  one of them requires less time. Yeah, it does, it does.
• 22:48
  But like, with the, the, the idea that it's the, the team
• 22:55
  collectively increasing the average item level of the team,
• 23:02
  When you do have players that are going in and scouring Mythic
• 23:07
  Plus for the best gear and getting the highest item level
• 23:10
  pieces that they can get their hands on.
• 23:13
  And you have other members on the team that aren't then the
• 23:16
  other team members that aren't doing that are kind of holding
• 23:21
  back the average item level from increasing and it's like, all of
• 23:28
  this is just to say, That the rate of gear.
• 23:36
  And release acquisition and item level increase from rating is
• 23:40
  not keeping up with the the rate of acquisition from the other
• 23:46
  sources in the game. Which is I mean there's not like
• 23:50
  there's not too much of an advantage item level wise that
• 23:53
  you get over with with the conquest gear, like you do get a
• 23:58
  little bit of an, I don't level Advantage with it in some
• 24:03
  respects, but that gear at a baseline is lower item level and
• 24:09
  get Scaled up in PvP specifically.
• 24:12
  So, you're not getting the same item level bonus from from, from
• 24:18
  Curious, you are from Valerie gear.
• 24:20
  So, like, it's not, it's not that big of a deal with with
• 24:25
  regard to PVP, and it's cross-pollination over with PVE,
• 24:29
  but it's still still, it makes me cautious about about what
• 24:35
  they're planning for the future. For sure, I can understand that
• 24:42
  you're worried about the future but they have said that this is
• 24:46
  an experimental Season, right, the fact that they remove the
• 24:51
  conquest wasn't even in their original plan.
• 24:53
  The cap for Conquest wasn't even the original plans, this is just
• 24:56
  them saying, you know what? Yeah, it is.
• 24:58
  Just sort of No Holds bar sort of season.
• 25:01
  So let's let the PVP players get in on the fun and get it on that
• 25:06
  wildness. The stuff that I think is more
• 25:08
  in indicating where they're going to go in the future is the
• 25:12
  dinar system, as you say, is the ability to upgrade a piece of
• 25:16
  gear from a raid from Normal level to the Mythic version with
• 25:20
  like new currency. That's the sort of stuff that I
• 25:23
  think is more where they're going in the future and shows
• 25:27
  that they are addressing the very concerned that you
• 25:29
  mentioned, which is hey rating, seems like it's falling behind
• 25:33
  if I don't get a drop from this boss or I get it in like let's
• 25:38
  say LF our and it never drops of me in my a trip through normal
• 25:42
  and heroic. Now I can upgrade that piece.
• 25:45
  That's that's what I see coming from season four.
• 25:49
  And season four is continue to be great.
• 25:51
  The other piece of news that we have from this is that The
• 25:54
  Spoils of War above is going to be reactivated with next week's
• 25:58
  reset. So that means that any player
• 26:01
  who is doing their Battle Grounds or Arenas is going to
• 26:04
  have their Conquest gate increase by 25% and honor gains
• 26:11
  increase by 40% and that is actually going to remain.
• 26:15
  Active for the rest of the season.
• 26:16
  I think this is a big one because it means that people who
• 26:20
  had reached cap this week. The people who haven't reached
• 26:23
  cap are going to have a very quick time catching up.
• 26:27
  And for those who do want to spend, let's say Monday trying
• 26:31
  to remove all of that Gap, the cap this week was at 11:00,
• 26:37
  that's 1100 for the two weeks that we've been active.
• 26:42
  So if you want to do that, that's the cap.
• 26:44
  Currently this week, the cap goes away entirely.
• 26:47
  And yes, once again, 2000 is the total amount of Conquest you
• 26:51

  Well, we did. We have it and I don't remember

  having in Warlords. I think they shut it down

  Warlords. I definitely remember making a

  lot of Bank in Mists of Pandaria with this.

  That was when I was really trying to push the auction

  house, way back in the day. I guess we'll do a little bit of

  Google Kungfu and get that confirmed, but I am really glad

  to see this back. The reason that they got rid of

  it was that people were abusing the API, using a lot of
• 29:16
  Automation in order to just yeah, again abuse abusive system

  and so they shut it down so that regular players could take
• 29:27
  advantage of it. For me, I was running in a

  little, not a call center, but I was like, I was at a help desk.

  And so, yeah, when things were a little bit slow, I would just
• 29:42
  like, you know, slip on the auction house.

  Make sure my auctions were good and, and set up and then like,
• 29:48
  get back to work. I'm not at that job anymore, so

  If you don't have any add-ons nothing, it's just the bare

  bones auction house that's available with the base game.

  You can't sort by buyout price. You can only sort by bid price.

  So when you do sort by Price, everything shown by the lowest

  auction price and it just gives you pages and pages and pages of
• 38:00
  The the lowest bid price are the lowest auction price but not the
• 38:03
  buyout price which means you're seeing the first like ten Pages.

  If you're, if you're going and looking for for like a specific
• 38:12
  herb, the first like ten pages of it are really high, buyout

  price and really low auction price.

  So it's incentivizing the spending a lot more money than

  it would. Otherwise you'll have to page

  through, you know, 55 plus pages of auctions.

  Get to the actual like, lower-priced bids or for the,

  for the buyouts, not, not for the bids, but for the buyouts,

  it gets a good-faith auctions. Yes, it's really annoying

  because of the second reason which is the way that this works

  with the with the add-ons that are available.

  They're able to, you know, churn out a bunch of single item

  postings. Huge amounts of single item

  postings. So that's where the pages and

  pages of these actions are coming from.

  And on top of that, these add-ons are able to basically

  brute-force read the entire auction house at a time, which

  slows down the entire API for everybody on the server.

  Because it's calling the server to get the information much

  faster than people using the base.

  so it's really annoying to use the the auction house without

  having an add-on and it's it's caused issues and has kept a lot

  of people from even interacting with the market.

  And at that it's got a lot of like weird ramifications.

  And I think I have to go back and read through the whole

  posted. But I think one of the things

  they're arguing for was to bring the auction house in classic a

  little bit more in line, with what they've got in retail,

  which is something that I've advocated for, on this show.

  searches. So that was something that was

  put in place in burning Crusade classic that they they made it

  to where the queries for Paging through all of the the pages of

  options that are available was throttled, which it did improve

  things when they did that because it made made it to where

  the, the people with the add-ons that were paging through or able

  to page through like thousands of pages of of auctions at a

  time that slowed them down, which made it a little bit

  easier for people that weren't using add-ons.

  But they've gone through and know how now we have the

  technology to be able to separate.

  Wait, the paging being done by the add-ons in the pages.

  Being done by the base you aiso, they've separated that out.

  And the people that are using the base.

  This one is basically The First Noel dungeon that we have ever

  had in the World of Warcraft, which is very strange

  considering that we've had Knowles throughout the history

  of World of Warcraft. Including vanilla, the biggest

  thing that we got was like a ward in the in the stockades
• 1:24:03
  that had Knowles. Remember, they had the
• 1:24:04
  Elementals and then the like Bandits and then it had Knowles
• 1:24:09
  It's so that's that's it. We've had some Knowles show up
• 1:24:14
  in different things but not a null theme dungeon.

  So this is World of Warcraft first, no themed dungeon Bracken
• 1:24:20
  hide Hollow and is a for Boss encounter.

  The you deal with the first boss, then the next two bosses
• 1:24:29
  can be taken in either order, and then you deal with the
• 1:24:32
  fourth boss, the way that this dungeon works, it's a lot of
• 1:24:36
  open space, but that It's a dangerous because the Noles tend
• 1:24:41
  to run when they hit low HP as if they have permanent skittish
• 1:24:45
  on them and to make matters worse, they will often do a fear
• 1:24:52
  which could send you running into another pack.
• 1:24:54
  And if you've got that go off along with one that starts
• 1:24:58
  running into something, you could get some very dangerous
• 1:25:01
  pools and these packs are some somewhat midsize or not huge
• 1:25:06
  packs. There, something like four to
• 1:25:08
  six that. We'll be in there one or two of
• 1:25:11
  them will be a larger Elite and then the rest will be sort of
• 1:25:14
  smaller Klinger's on. So it's a good thing for some
• 1:25:19
  AOE builds. It's definitely something where
• 1:25:23
  you want to be using some snares or something or some roots in
• 1:25:28
  order to keep them relatively controlled and really want to
• 1:25:33
  make sure your shamans respect for trimmer totem.

  Yep. Speck in for that Speck in.

  You do like a frenzy and break whatever fears that you can.

  So there's there's definitely some stuff for that.

  That's the first part when you start getting later into the

  But you are still dealing with the same sort of 12, large Elite

  plus like a bunch of smaller stuff.

  So it is going to be I think it's going to be a cool thing or

  it's either going to be absolutely hated because people

  are going to just constantly be running.

  Going into packs that they didn't want to.

  There's, of course, some patrols that are out there or it's going

  to be like, certain teams that are going to be absolutely

  tearing through this because they're just going to gather

  everything. Do huge AOE pulls and just

  completely burn stuff down. I think it's going to be a

  pretty fun, fun dungeon. Regardless on normal on heroic

  where you're not going to be so pressed for time but like I do

  want to see how this this starts pushing in Mythic plus 3 there.

  Then for the as Revolt. Why don't you talk about that

  one? Very first thing that popped

  into my head. When we went into the Azure

  Vault was, oh wow, this is just the nicest.

  spots where you're like, you get to those rings and it's like

  Caldera. There's the Nexus and I can't

  remember the name of the other one but both of those dungeons

  very very reminiscent of those and just breathtakingly

  beautiful dungeon all at all. Like honestly look go look at
• 1:27:31
  the video as soon as you're done listening to this episode

  because it's oh gosh, it's so good.

  Anyway, there are four bosses. This is a very linear dungeon.

  There's not really any room to play on.
• 1:27:44
  On on how how you can go about getting through it at all.

  But the four bosses are lame or as your blade to Lush gray wing

  and then umbral skull which sounds sounds a lot more metal

  than it actually is. It's a giant crystal dragon

  named umbral skull. And It's just got, it's just
• 1:28:12
  kind of really, really solid Vibe through the whole thing.

  Lots of magic, lots of runes on the ground that you gotta, you
• 1:28:18
  have to watch out for that when you step on the Rune it
• 1:28:21
  activates and you gotta, you have like a couple of seconds to
• 1:28:23
  get out of it before it stuns you and they're kind of like
• 1:28:27
  there's like a library section where there's like a ring or a
• 1:28:31
  circle in the middle that has like a whole bunch of them just
• 1:28:34
  like definitely don't go in the middle of the room but then on
• 1:28:38
  the outer ring around the room, There's like a bunch of books
• 1:28:42
  that are just pile on the ground and there are runes hidden under
• 1:28:47
  the stacks of books around. So you have to be careful of
• 1:28:50
  where you're staying traversing through that through that room
• 1:28:55
  while you're while you're pulling trash, the other big
• 1:28:57
  thing about the trash in that dungeon is that towards the
• 1:29:00
  first, the front part of it. There are whelps that are
• 1:29:05
  scattered throughout that are kind of like Centre whelps and
• 1:29:10
  once Attack them. They start in uninsurable cast,
• 1:29:14
  and if they get that cast off, they activate a bunch of
• 1:29:18
  basically, a bunch of Arcane Crystal Elementals.

  That pop up and just swarm you and we learned the hard way when
• 1:29:27
  we were running that dungeon earlier today.

  That if you if you activate them and when specific hallway, it
• 1:29:34
  pulls the entire Hall and you're basically dead.

  So there's a got to kind of watch out for going through
• 1:29:43
  there and that's that's where the for Mythic plus.

  That's going to be where your percentile options come from.
• 1:29:51
  So you're going to have to decide.

  If you need to pull one of these extra packs of the crystal
• 1:29:58
  Elementals, in order to make your percent because there's
• 1:30:01
  there's very few options throughout the rest of the
• 1:30:03
  dungeon to skip trash. Basically, like there are a few,

  there are a few and that's one of them but there are Very few.

  Yeah, I going through think that is a very interesting part of

  the dungeon in terms of Mythic, plus because you're right, you

  are going to be like, okay, is it of trying to skip or avoid a

  trash? You're going to be 0, what are

  these worth? And how many of them do we

  activate? Do we like let that get that

  whelp, get off it, scream and like, activate all of these
• 1:30:34
  Elementals, and try and take these.

  Yeah, the things. And then you also have to be

  Well, poor use it to activate the next one because once

  they're all the welts are done, you can't activate the trash by

  themselves. So it is a very, very cool way

  of dealing with like trash count.

  to be a thing because because of that fact, because they're there

  is going to be a point where you can no longer activate them

  your entire completion, your percent completion for forces,

  done without activating any of them.

  So it's going to be rather. Instead, a question of do you

  want to deal with those Elementals, or do you want to

  deal with a later trash bag? Because there are a couple of

  the Rings you actually go on to the Rings.

  Like the Nexus, rings and fight trash on those.

  And there are a couple of those packs that you can skip.

  So it's going to be E, it's going to be a matter of

  determining, which ones you want to actually try and face down.

  Because we learned also in this dungeon that some of those Trash

  Packs, the mobs in particular are very deadly because they're

  there is a specific combination of mobs that are the the crystal

  Elementals and then like a larger crystalline Thing.

  I think they look like, I don't know exactly how to Desert cane

  Elementals from from the Eternal Palace.

  Remember that boss? That's exactly where they got

  So there are those and those two in particular combination, the

  that points at the tank at the tank and just like spray is

  crystals and it chunks your health trunks, the the tanks

  health. Rex and destroys everyone else?

  Yes, very much. So, but there are, there are

  pacts that there are two of those, that's few the the
• 1:33:19
  frontal cone. And then one of the ones that

  that Roots you. So it's going to be difficult

  for some groups to get past those with regularity because

  there's there's a whole bunch of other AOE that's happening.

  You have like to juggle the positioning, so it might be just
• 1:33:36
  better to skip that pack all together.

  Either so you don't have to deal with it, you have to risk it.

  So there's a lot of cool decisions that I see coming

  forward in how to tackle the trash of that dungeon in

  The buses, the buses are fun. There's one of them as your

  blade. Is a is a boss that is a

  two-phase fight where the first part you're just fighting that

  boss on its own and he's spotting.

  Couple of different, a couple of different mirror images that are

  like slinging spells that you and and you kind of have to

  put someone on interrupt Duty on those or and just let him go or

  do we do we like hard swap to the to the mirror images is

  they're coming up and then the second phase of the fight runs

  to the middle of the room and spawns.

  Four of them that are a lot beefier than the ones that

  they're spawning in the is phase and you cannot deal damage to

  the to the bus until all four of them are down.

  So it's very much going to be and all the while while these

  these images are up in the second phase, there's just

  pulsating AOE damage going out to the entire raid.
