- 0:00My name is Terry Messenger and I am hey, hey, hey and welcome,
- 0:08welcome to Terry Messenger's Genius Zone.
- 0:14And you know, this is the place in the space where you are going
- 0:19to get your own free master class absolutely free.
- 0:30Hey, hey, hey. And welcome to this week's
- 0:35edition of Terry Messenger's Judy.
- 0:38So did I say messenger? Oh, my goodness.
- 0:41Wow. That must be a sign that it's
- 0:44going to be a very good telecast because I've just been backstage
- 0:48with a glorious woman. Now I believe a lot of you are
- 0:53going to really resonate with this because have you ever felt
- 0:57like you know you cannot be everything you want to be and
- 1:02you have to play it small because there have been other
- 1:06people's voices that have been really telling you who you are
- 1:11and even causing you to feel misunderstood.
- 1:17So if you feel you've been told by the world about your life and
- 1:22you've been shrinking yourself to dilute just to fit in, then
- 1:28you're going to want to watch this episode.
- 1:32Because this amazing woman that I'm about to bring on, not only
- 1:37is she going to talk you through the power of how to step into
- 1:43your full aligned self, but she's going to give you some key
- 1:49principles through a very powerful DNA blueprint called
- 1:57Human design. So I love speaking to this lady.
- 2:02She is going to give a demonstration towards the end.
- 2:05So you're not going to want to run away.
- 2:07This woman comes from the corporate coaching space or she
- 2:11comes from the corporate space. And she is a little bit unique
- 2:16in the sense that she was raised by a mother who really taught on
- 2:22self love and that was something that really shaped this
- 2:30delightful, intuitive human design coach.
- 2:35So with no further ado, let me bring on a lady that was also
- 2:42very impacted like Anthony Robbins by Jim Rowan.
- 2:48And I give you the delightful Catherine Leonardis.
- 2:52How are you, Catherine? Hello, Terry.
- 2:55I'm great. How are you?
- 2:58I'm good, but I'm not pronouncing names very well this
- 3:01evening for some reason for. Everything it is just, yeah, we
- 3:05have a bit of, you know, some, some spirit coming in.
- 3:08It's Catherine. Leonardos, Catherine Leonardos,
- 3:12How are you on this beautiful evening?
- 3:15I am so wonderful and I'm so excited to be here.
- 3:18Thank you so much for having. Me, it is an absolute pleasure.
- 3:23Now you are also in this side of the world, so can you tell us
- 3:27where you are? I'm in Melbourne in Australia.
- 3:31And that is, as you found out, that is where I was born.
- 3:35So I was actually born in Melbourne?
- 3:38Yes, in Boston. You.
- 3:40Yes, there you go. So we know all of that about
- 3:44each other and yet we barely know each other really, other
- 3:48than the fact that you are about to really expound on a topic
- 3:54that I believe a lot of people, in fact, everybody needs to
- 4:00hear. So I'm going to start off with
- 4:02the first question, and that is that you went into human design,
- 4:08into the mastery of it and, you know, completing your masters.
- 4:14What was the inspiration that caused you to know that you
- 4:19needed to choose human design? Once I understood myself and my
- 4:25own design, human design and really understood my authentic
- 4:29self and who I was, I realized that a lot of people just needed
- 4:34to know this about themselves. And I, I've always wanted to
- 4:38help as many people as I can. And you know, I'm intuitive and,
- 4:42you know, do readings and I help people in that way and loved
- 4:45ones connect who have passed over.
- 4:47But I just felt that there was actually something more that I
- 4:50could offer people. And when I came across Human
- 4:52Design and I understood the impact it had on me and it was
- 4:56like an awakening. It was like coming home to
- 4:58myself. I thought, my gosh, I really
- 5:02want to share this with other people and help other people.
- 5:04So it was, it was that it was the impact that it had on me
- 5:07when I realized how massive this is and how impactful it is on
- 5:11other people, which is why I chose to pursue it.
- 5:15Hmm. And isn't it interesting how so
- 5:19many of us are playing smaller than what we could?
- 5:24Or we're kind of holding back in a fear of rejection because we
- 5:30are afraid of being judged, or we're afraid to fail, or we're
- 5:35just not wanting to be all of who we are and being
- 5:39misunderstood. I can really relate to that.
- 5:42I feel like that was my second. That was my second personality
- 5:47being misunderstood. And yet, you know, the genius
- 5:52zone, what that tells us is that all the things that we suffered
- 5:58in our life and the things that really impacted us the most turn
- 6:03into our superpower. So absolutely.
- 6:06Yeah. So let's talk about your journey
- 6:11finding out and discovering that you are the manifesting
- 6:15generator. We'll also first I think what
- 6:18we'll do just to frame this is I'm going to give you the floor
- 6:24to talk a little bit about human design because there may maybe
- 6:28some people out there that do not even know what it means.
- 6:31So I feel that it would be very good to frame this by talking
- 6:36about a little bit about where it comes from and what, you
- 6:41know, what it means to understand your human design.
- 6:46And yeah, just share with us so that we can frame this up so
- 6:51that people can look into it, do their research and even change
- 6:55their life what you have. Yes, yes, it it So human design
- 7:03was actually discovered by a gentleman called RA.
- 7:09I have to always, I always get this name wrong.
- 7:10Like we were talking about name names before.
- 7:13So RA Ruhu and he actually experienced this.
- 7:18I know. I think I did a good job.
- 7:21RA Ruhu, my daughter. And he, he actually received
- 7:27this, what we would call a download and it channeled this
- 7:30through when he was in Ibiza in Spain back in 1987.
- 7:35And, and since then, human design is really now nowadays
- 7:40it's, it's known as the modern day personality.
- 7:45So, and it basically it's a blueprint of your actual human
- 7:50design of your personality. And it helps you understand the
- 7:55type of energy, your energy type, also your, your strategy,
- 7:59which is basically how best to flow in your life and make
- 8:03decisions and your authority, which is actually the way you
- 8:05make decisions. So it's, it's actually, it can
- 8:08be, you know, it, it, it, there's, there's so much in
- 8:11human design. I mean, I could spend an hour
- 8:13and a half just going through the basics of human design with
- 8:16a client and then I can also spend, you know, I could
- 8:20probably talk about it for five hours.
- 8:21There's so much in your chart. So it, it actually, each
- 8:25individual has an actual personal blueprint.
- 8:29So it's an individual chart and it actually is based on your
- 8:33birth date, the time of your birth and the place of your
- 8:37birth. And then that's when this chat
- 8:39is created and the accuracy is incredible of this of, of this
- 8:44chart. Once you actually start to go
- 8:46through, once I start the readings with people and I start
- 8:48to explain what I'm seeing, my clients are like, Oh my gosh,
- 8:53how do you know that? How do you know that that's so
- 8:55accurate? How do you know that?
- 8:57And I'm like, because it's in the blueprint and you.
- 9:00Know like Wayne Dyer says, to know thyself, that is got to be
- 9:06the most powerful thing. So would you say it is
- 9:10influenced through astrology? Yeah, it's a combination of I
- 9:15chain astrology, Kabbalah and actually science too, modern day
- 9:20science as well. So it's a, it's, it's a very
- 9:23unique, unique personality tool and the way it's combined and,
- 9:29and it's the, the accuracy, as I mentioned, it's just, it's, it's
- 9:33phenomenal. It's phenomenal.
- 9:35And what it, it really helps people come back to their
- 9:39authentic self. So from society, we are
- 9:42conditioned to be certain things, to believe that we are a
- 9:46certain way. Also, we're conditioned to do to
- 9:49do things according to what we should do and what the right
- 9:53thing to do. And you know, people like other
- 9:56people's opinions and how other people perceive us as opposed to
- 10:01who we actually are. So human design actually helps
- 10:04us to remove these layers and layers of conditioning that we
- 10:08have accumulated over time in our lives and actually come back
- 10:12to ourselves. And it's so incredible that when
- 10:16you actually come back to yourself and you stand in your
- 10:18power, you, you know, you, you, you experience that joy that.
- 10:23You know, a lot of us are. Looking for joy and happiness
- 10:26and it actually with human design, when you actually peel
- 10:29back those layers and really find yourself and step into that
- 10:32person, the joy just comes naturally.
- 10:35It's just, it's beautiful to see.
- 10:38That is, that is absolutely incredible.
- 10:40And you know, what I'm really hearing is a couple of things
- 10:44just to break down what you said.
- 10:46And that is, you know, Rahu, and I'm definitely not saying his
- 10:51name, right, had a download, a transmission.
- 10:57And this is something that I heard is when we have an idea,
- 11:02it is actually given to us above at a much higher level and an
- 11:10idea means that we can run with it.
- 11:14And obviously, if you're an activist, likely, you know, like
- 11:20someone like yourself and even myself too, if we feel
- 11:24intuitively inclined, we probably will action it.
- 11:28And those ideas, if we don't action it, it will be given to
- 11:33somebody else. So it's really important to #1
- 11:38know thyself #2 understand that ideas are not just rainbows and
- 11:45butterflies. Sometimes these are the
- 11:48principles that create the complete system of having an
- 11:55incredibly successful life. And you know, it's all wrapped
- 12:00up in quantum physics and it's a system like you have said, and
- 12:06I'm just paraphrasing it here, which is a, a road map for your
- 12:11soul. So what I'm gonna do now is I'm
- 12:13just gonna explore over the energy types.
- 12:17So we have manifestos, generators, manifesting
- 12:23generators, projectors, reflectors, and it has a unique
- 12:30strategy and aura. And how did it change your life
- 12:37understanding that you were a manifesting generator as opposed
- 12:43to perhaps before you knew that? And maybe there's a story which
- 12:49I believe where you doubted yourself because other people
- 12:53were putting their own little opinions on you.
- 12:57Do you want to talk us through that?
- 12:59Yes, yes, I'd love to. Because again, that's why I love
- 13:04human design so much. I'm a manifesting generator.
- 13:09I'm somebody who so manifesting generator will be, we'll add
- 13:13talks quickly, loves lots of variety.
- 13:16They love to do lots of different, like lots of
- 13:19different things that we, we we're known as time benders
- 13:22because we quantum leap so quickly, because we take so much
- 13:26action so quickly. I used.
- 13:29I was always someone who people did not understand because I
- 13:33would change my mind often. That is one of the traits of a
- 13:37manifesting generator. I would say I'm going to do this
- 13:39and then and then I change my mind because we manifesting
- 13:43generators don't. Stick to.
- 13:44Things if they don't feel aligned, so they may start
- 13:48something, but they will stop if it's not aligned.
- 13:51They're not thinking that it's that the board, it's it's just,
- 13:54you know, because we actually get bored very easily and very
- 13:57quickly because we love all this kind of variety and we're always
- 13:59on the go. So I was, I was often criticized
- 14:04that I didn't focus, I wasn't focused, that I changed my mind
- 14:10often, that I sometimes even that I couldn't sit still
- 14:14because we are, we are on the move and we just love that
- 14:17variety and we do get bored easily.
- 14:20So, so that's that, that the social conditioning that I had
- 14:24in in fact, somebody once asked me if I had, if that, well, they
- 14:27thought that I had ADHD and, and I and I, I was really taken back
- 14:32and I said, but why? And she said, because you can't
- 14:34focus. And, and I, and I said, well, I
- 14:37can because if it's something that gives me joy and something
- 14:41that I'm really, I'm loving and it's interesting and it's giving
- 14:45me that variety and it's fast-paced, I love it.
- 14:49So, but if it's boring and it's not in alignment with any
- 14:52something that I like to do, then I will quickly swap a
- 14:56change. So that was, you know, it was it
- 14:59that again, just understanding that about myself, I realized
- 15:04there's nothing wrong with me. It's actually these are my super
- 15:07powers. Yes, I love that.
- 15:10And you know you discovered one also a manifest being generated
- 15:14too. So being misunderstood, actually
- 15:20changing my mind and recognizing that I was doing that, but not
- 15:25really understanding why, that even at this level where I am
- 15:29today, has really opened up that awareness.
- 15:33Because I feel that when we know about ourself and when we
- 15:37understand the reason we are the way that we are, that has got to
- 15:44be a breakthrough in itself. But, you know, you are dealing
- 15:50with a lot of people that are, you know, making decisions or
- 15:54maybe thinking that they are something when they're not all
- 16:00misunderstood. You're dealing with a lot of
- 16:03people like that who quite often feel suppressed by the world.
- 16:09And you know what happens when you are in that pace and you are
- 16:15wanting to go ahead? Because I know that there's a
- 16:17lot of people out there that they want to make decisions
- 16:20about their life. They might want to change their
- 16:23job. They may want to change their
- 16:25partner. You know, some of them can be
- 16:29massive decisions. And yet, you know, they can
- 16:34quite often be crowded by other people's opinions, you know,
- 16:41what's your thoughts on that? Because, you know, I understand
- 16:46that in some ways, you've got to be very careful about who you
- 16:50share your soul with in terms of the things that you want to
- 16:56achieve in your life. Like, if you want to go out
- 16:58there and you want to be a famous poet, you know, sometimes
- 17:02it's not a good thing to share that with a lot of people
- 17:08because that's when it can dampen your spirit.
- 17:11That's when it can really hold you back.
- 17:14But you had a story about someone who was able to stand up
- 17:20and say, actually, this is what I wanted.
- 17:24And, you know, can you talk us through that?
- 17:27Because I feel that that from a young person who, you know,
- 17:32wanted, there may have been an expectation to move in this
- 17:36direction, but they were able to move in that direction that they
- 17:42wanted. What would you say about that
- 17:45and can you open that up for us? Yeah, look, I'd love to talk
- 17:49about that. I do have a situation.
- 17:51It's actually about my daughter and she won't mind me speaking
- 17:54about her because it's quite, it's very significant.
- 17:57Her energy type is a manifesto. Now the manifestos are here to
- 18:02make big change. They they initiate, they don't
- 18:05wait for anyone. They don't wait for permission.
- 18:07They know what they want to do. They know where they want to go
- 18:10and they go. And my daughter wanted to be a
- 18:14dancer from very young. She's actually a very talented
- 18:17dancer. She's been dancing on cruise
- 18:19ships for the last 19 months and she's about, she came home
- 18:23quickly and then she's about to go again.
- 18:25But when she was growing up, she was very misunderstood because
- 18:28she was basically telling us that she wanted to dance.
- 18:31And of course I wanted her to go to union, get a corporate job
- 18:34because I was from the corporate world.
- 18:36And she, she really kept, she kept pushing it and pushing it
- 18:40that she wanted to go dancing and become this dancer.
- 18:43In the end, I, I gave in. I did eventually come in, but
- 18:46there was a lot of resistance and she put a lot of people off
- 18:50her, her father and I and, and, and, and other people over the
- 18:54during that time. Once I discovered that she was
- 18:58a, a manifesto and actually sat with her and I went through her
- 19:02chart and I said, you are here to create change.
- 19:06You are here to do big things. You are here to, to, to, to, to
- 19:12change actually like not and not have a linear life and really
- 19:15change the world. And the key to her strategy is
- 19:20actually to inform. So rather than getting us
- 19:23offside, manifest is their key to have a flowing life is
- 19:28actually to inform the people who are affected by their
- 19:31decisions that they're making these decisions.
- 19:33And they're not actually asking for permission.
- 19:36They're actually saying I'm just, you know, this is what
- 19:39I've decided to do. I'm not asking for your
- 19:41permission, but this is it does affect you.
- 19:42So I'm just letting you know when they do that, they're
- 19:45actually faced with less resistance.
- 19:47So when we talk about sort of living an aligned life as
- 19:51opposed to an unaligned life, which leads to lots of
- 19:54exhaustion and burnout because people are constantly against
- 19:57you, this is the key. So once mine, and it was
- 19:59interesting because once my daughter actually understood
- 20:02that this is her human design and for her, because she's
- 20:05always worried about pushing back and having people against
- 20:08her. Once she understood that if I
- 20:11just inform people what I'm doing and I don't need to ask
- 20:13for permission. I saw her face change and she's
- 20:16actually just, she's actually implemented that new strategy in
- 20:20her life. And she said to me recently that
- 20:22she's just so much more at peace.
- 20:23And I can see how much peaceful she is and in her relationships
- 20:27with her friendships and of course with me.
- 20:30So it's, it's, it's, it's life changing.
- 20:33Yes, Mel, Mel Robbins, little saying is coming to my mind here
- 20:38and I feel that you are really living by a lot of some of the
- 20:44greatest philosophies of you know some of the the greatest
- 20:50people like Jim Rowan who inspired your life as he did
- 20:55lead Anthony Robbins as well. And of course, Mel Robbins is a
- 20:58really big name today, but she says stop hitting the damned
- 21:03snooze button on your life and start owning who you are.
- 21:09And that is exactly what your daughter did.
- 21:15So you must be extremely proud. So yes.
- 21:20So let's talk about some of these other human design
- 21:25elements and characteristics. So what do you believe is the
- 21:32difference between, say, a manifesting person like your
- 21:37daughter? A manifesto and say someone who
- 21:42is completely the opposite, which one would you say is the
- 21:47opposite? So, yeah, yeah.
- 21:50So a manifesto is so explain a manifesto with my daughter.
- 21:53So she's here to she's not here for chance, for permission.
- 21:56She's not waiting. She's here to, you know, just
- 21:59inform. This is what I'm doing.
- 22:01Lots of energy, lots of like lots of just big plans and and
- 22:06have passed mover. So when you think about a
- 22:08manifesto that they're manifesting what they want, they
- 22:10move fast. Then the opposite of that, what
- 22:14comes to mind is a projector. So the projector energy type is
- 22:18actually someone who they actually have limited energy,
- 22:22but a projector is only really when it comes to the energy.
- 22:27They only have sort of a certain amount of energy.
- 22:29So they will go for a few hours and then need a break and there
- 22:33but there I love projectors. I have many projector friends
- 22:37and, and people in my circle. So they're the real, the wise
- 22:40guides. They're here to actually to, to,
- 22:43to, to share their wisdom with others.
- 22:46So they have a lot of wisdom that they've learnt in their
- 22:48life and they like and they're here to share it with others.
- 22:51But the key to a projector is to to is, is to wait for the
- 22:57invention. So that is that you want, they
- 23:00want to help everybody because they have all this information
- 23:03and all this wisemess that they want to share.
- 23:06But the key is to, in order to, to, to, to actually help people
- 23:12and also to be mindful of the energy and not just give out the
- 23:16energy to everybody. They need to wait for that
- 23:20invitation. By that I mean, you can say,
- 23:23hey, Terry, I, I know about this subject and you mentioned about
- 23:27it. If you're interested in finding
- 23:29out more, let me know. Oh, Terry, I'm here to tell you
- 23:33this and this and this and this. And they're basically giving
- 23:36almost unsolicited advice and and also also using up energy
- 23:43that isn't quite that they don't quite have.
- 23:46And so that's where they become exhausted and become burnt out.
- 23:49So an aligned projector is actually someone who would wait
- 23:52for that invitation and wait for someone to come back and say,
- 23:55hey, Catherine, you mentioned the other day about this
- 23:58subject. I'd like to know more, you know,
- 24:00do you have fun? You know, can we talk about it?
- 24:03And so, and then, and if it's some, if I have the energy to do
- 24:06so, I will. So that's where I would see the
- 24:08opposite between the manifesto and a projector.
- 24:10I would see those two. And yet they would be really
- 24:14compatible to work together or being a very good friend.
- 24:19And you know, it, it really struck me as you were talking
- 24:23about that, that when we also understand that that is who we
- 24:29are. So the projector has that very
- 24:32different wisdom. They have a very different
- 24:36energy. You know, it's no not much views
- 24:41for that person to try to be something that they're not.
- 24:45And it's how many of us are really doing that at the moment.
- 24:49We're doing courses even we're spending thousands and thousands
- 24:53of dollars trying to learn how to be like this and this and
- 24:58this, when in fact, we need to really honor who we are in a
- 25:03really, really big way. Because you know, if a projector
- 25:07is trying to be a manifesto, that's going to burn so much
- 25:13energy. And then we've got the
- 25:14reflector. Can you tell me about the
- 25:16reflector? Well, the.
- 25:18Reflector there are one, there are only 1% of the population.
- 25:20So they're very, very unique. And the thing about reflecting
- 25:24is when you look in the body graph and, and even if you have
- 25:27time to have a look body graph, you will see that there are
- 25:32centers almost like the chakra system in, you know, like
- 25:37there's seven chakras, but there's actually in a body
- 25:39graph, there are 9 centers. And the, that's that they're
- 25:43basically our energy centers. So when they're closed, they're
- 25:46called to find. And that's when we have our
- 25:48energy is actually we, we, our energy is used from, comes from
- 25:52within. And then when they're open,
- 25:54actually that we receive our energy from outside.
- 25:58So I reflect sector is actually has all open centres and I
- 26:01actually was at a retreat last week where I did meet a
- 26:05reflector and it was quite a special moment because you don't
- 26:08come across them that often being 1% of the population.
- 26:11And and this one said that what happens with these open centres
- 26:16is that they absorb energy from everywhere, from outside.
- 26:21So, and a reflector actually needs to wait when they're going
- 26:26to make a big decision. They actually need to wait 28
- 26:31days, 28 days, a lunar cycle to actually to feel all the feels
- 26:37and absorb all the energy and just get the ideas and that and,
- 26:40and then feel the emotions and, and, you know, feel the pressure
- 26:44and the stress and go through all of that.
- 26:46And to actually be able to make a decision like that, that big
- 26:51decision. And I did ask this reflector,
- 26:54you know, is that the case with you?
- 26:56And she said absolutely. And even just for the retreat,
- 26:59it took her two months to decide whether she was going to accept
- 27:02and go to the retreat. She said she actually
- 27:04understands that. She feels it, feels that she
- 27:05needs to go through all that whole, all of the emotions and
- 27:10all the ideas, all of the thoughts and process the whole
- 27:12thing and go through a whole process system and then go yes
- 27:16or no. It's, it's incredible.
- 27:19That is, and Can you imagine how many people would have called,
- 27:24you know, a reflector, A procrastinator or?
- 27:28100% yes and this. Is what I'm calling.
- 27:34That's right, she takes so much up her mind.
- 27:37Exactly. And so when you know, when you
- 27:40understand that that is your human design, then you can
- 27:45really Revere yourself. And I feel that revereing and
- 27:49respecting and surrendering to, you know, who you are plays such
- 27:57a massive part. Now, this next one that I'm
- 28:01going to touch on I feel is going to really be quite a
- 28:06controversial situation, even though you may have just
- 28:12described it as riding the emotional wave.
- 28:16But this is another element of where people can quite often
- 28:22jump to conclusions. And I'm thinking because of the
- 28:27emotional roller coaster, some people may get tricked into
- 28:33thinking that they're bipolar even, or, you know, diagnosing
- 28:40themselves, just like you said about the ADHD.
- 28:43And this is where I feel human design is going to rule out so
- 28:50many false analysis on diagnosing yourself.
- 28:55But let's talk about the emotional wave and the rise and
- 29:00fall. And you know how you implement
- 29:06this technique of pressing pause?
- 29:10Yes, yes. So the emotional wave, when I
- 29:13first understood the emotional wave, I had, I remember feeling
- 29:16a sigh of relief because I thought, I don't think I OK, so
- 29:20I'm not bipolar because I have an emotional authority, which is
- 29:24the emotional wave. So the authority in human design
- 29:27is how we best make our decisions.
- 29:30And there are 677 different authorities.
- 29:34The emotional wave, the emotional authority is a very
- 29:38common authority and that's the one that I have.
- 29:43And what happens is you have these highs and these lows, and
- 29:49you need to ride this emotional wave before you actually make a
- 29:53decision. So we always say should wait to,
- 29:56when it's time to make a decision, ride the emotional
- 29:58wave. And when you get to that
- 29:59emotional neutral place, that's when you make the decision.
- 30:03So we have these highs on top of the world.
- 30:06Yes. You know, so Terry, you know,
- 30:07would, you know, would you like to come to Saturday night to a
- 30:11concert with me? I you know, I've got some
- 30:14tickets and it's Monday and you go.
- 30:15Yeah, absolutely. I feel fantastic, but then you
- 30:18haven't had a look at your calendar.
- 30:21You did you forgot that you have a Tuesday night, you know, and
- 30:25you're you're actually presenting on Thursday.
- 30:27And then Friday night it's we're describing your week.
- 30:33And then there's an anniversary dinner and there's a family
- 30:35function and there's somebody'd birthday and then it's Saturday
- 30:38night. Oh my.
- 30:39Gosh, what? Was I thinking saying yes, so
- 30:42then so then if you regret that decision, so the other.
- 30:46Another example is when you actually actually feeling quite
- 30:49low. We, we all have feelings of
- 30:51feeling low. And in fact, it was only a few
- 30:54weeks ago that I had this low on a Sunday and I was feeling
- 30:57fabulous on the Saturday. And I remember feeling really
- 30:59down and out on the Sunday thinking what on earth is wrong
- 31:02with me? It was just my emotional way and
- 31:04I just had to go through it. And when I woke up on Monday, I
- 31:07was back in an emotional mutual place.
- 31:09So these are the things that we depending on your chart that I
- 31:13can see in your chart. And these are the things that I
- 31:15explained as I go through the chart so that you actually
- 31:17understand your, yourself and, and, and again, that once you,
- 31:21when you know yourself, you understand there's nothing wrong
- 31:23with me. I know now I have this emotional
- 31:25wave. So I just ride my way through it
- 31:28as opposed to why am I like this?
- 31:30You stop asking the why and you understand yourself.
- 31:33When you understand yourself, you're just, you're patient and
- 31:36you just know that you just need to get through this to get to
- 31:38that, to the next stage. Because the wrong question, when
- 31:43you're asking it in a way that you know, where there's a crisis
- 31:48or there is something that is not right, there's chaos in your
- 31:52life or you know, you're just going through those moments of
- 31:57challenges by asking why, it takes you deep into a rabbit
- 32:02hole. It's more about asking what, you
- 32:06know, what is the purpose for me in all of this?
- 32:09And imagine if you could actually understand that I'm,
- 32:15I'm going through this emotional wave.
- 32:18I just have to ride it. And you did touch on something
- 32:24that really hit me between the eyes, you know, backstage.
- 32:28And that is that you talked about how you do, you know,
- 32:33coach people to just pause and wait before they act.
- 32:40And I know that sometimes I'm an activist, so I have that OK,
- 32:46thinking on the spur of the moment and act.
- 32:49But you mentioned it in the way of emails.
- 32:52And I, I often think of it like almost like hitting the button
- 32:55to a bomb. And sometimes you can write an
- 32:58e-mail and then hit that button and realize, Oh my gosh, what
- 33:03have I just done? So yes, but what do you, what do
- 33:08you say to people? How do you bring people in and
- 33:11ground them? So I have one of my clients is a
- 33:15manifesting generator who says she, she does also like me and
- 33:20she does go, she moves quite quickly.
- 33:23And she also has emotional authority, which means that she
- 33:26has, she has this emotional wave.
- 33:28And when we started working together, she said she, she
- 33:31said, well, I just want to be less, less emotional and, and,
- 33:37and, and not respond so quickly. And, and So what, what I told
- 33:42her in her emotion, in her human design, her strategy is to wait
- 33:47to respond. So I, I, I explained to her that
- 33:51she needed to, when she would receive an, an e-mail that was
- 33:55that upset her. And usually it's in a work
- 33:57environment. I'd say to her that so once OK,
- 34:01read the e-mail, right? OK, breathe.
- 34:04We wait to respond. We don't we, we.
- 34:06So we're at this emotional. Well, I would say hi because
- 34:09it's quite she's, you know, quite upset and quite emotional
- 34:13and potentially going to say something she's going to regret
- 34:17or write something she's going to regret.
- 34:19And I say and then we, we, I've told her to wait and breathe
- 34:22and, and not respond. Walk away, do something else.
- 34:25Think about it and then walk back to that e-mail a little bit
- 34:29later. If not, the even better scenario
- 34:32is wait till that afternoon or the next day and respond back.
- 34:36And once you started to do that, life is so much better for her
- 34:41with she's finding that people are actually noticing that she's
- 34:44calmer. She she's less responsive.
- 34:47So when she responds, she's a lot nicer in the way that she
- 34:51responds and you can tell she's not well, she's not as
- 34:55frustrated. So her frustration isn't coming
- 34:57out because it was basically she's reading that e-mail, she's
- 35:00seeing red, she's frustrated and she's just responding.
- 35:03Whereas by by waiting, thinking about it, waiting for that
- 35:07emotional neutrality and then responding in a calmer way in a
- 35:12calmer position, she's responding in a better way.
- 35:15She's not putting people offside.
- 35:17And actually she's also realizing, she said, you know,
- 35:19some of it is not as bad as what she thought initially was.
- 35:22So it's it's made a massive difference in her life and
- 35:25people have noticed at work and actually her relationships have
- 35:28improved as a result. Wow, that that's, I'm going to
- 35:33definitely pay attention to that.
- 35:35I don't think I've ever regretted once saying to myself,
- 35:41you know what, that e-mail where I'm going to fire that person,
- 35:46whether they're firing them as a friend or a person or whatever,
- 35:51I'm going to wait until morning and then I'm going to make that
- 35:55decision to whether or not I send it.
- 35:59But I think there's a lot of power in that.
- 36:02And I've never regretted once doing that and actually waiting
- 36:09and changing the state. Because I mean, even in NLP, we
- 36:13know everything is about state. So like what you mentioned, go
- 36:18off, have a walk, make a coffee, go and do something, you know,
- 36:22that's changing your state. It's changing your body, it's
- 36:26changing your positioning and it's, it's like even when
- 36:29something's not working, you know you'll have a technical
- 36:32fault and you won't be able to get it.
- 36:35But, and the more you get locked into it, the, the worse it seems
- 36:40to get. But then you take yourself out
- 36:42of the position, you probably turn it off and then turn it
- 36:46back on again and, and well, magic happens.
- 36:50So these things are just so incredible.
- 36:53Now, obviously what we're going to do is we are going to put
- 36:57Catherine's details in the show notes.
- 37:01So if you would like to know, and I mean, knowledge is power,
- 37:07especially when you action it, right?
- 37:11So if you want to know your human design, you know, this is
- 37:18the lady that you really do need to speak to.
- 37:22If you spent a lifetime feeling misunderstood or you've been
- 37:27shrinking yourself, this is the lady that you really need to
- 37:33speak to because you know, this is game changing.
- 37:38So what I'm going to do now is go to the part that I've been
- 37:41looking forward to in the whole show.
- 37:45Now we're going to give the audience a little bit of an
- 37:48illustration about how knowing your human design can really
- 37:54help you in your life. So behind the scenes, you asked
- 37:59me some questions and then you discovered that I was exactly
- 38:04like yourself, a manifesting generator.
- 38:07That's right. So I'm now going to hand over to
- 38:10you because maybe there's some things that will help me in my
- 38:16life that I know that about myself.
- 38:19Could you perhaps walk me through that?
- 38:22Yeah, absolutely. So the questions that I asked
- 38:25Terry were what I needed, the date, date of birth, the time of
- 38:29birth and the place of birth. And, and I have a little program
- 38:33that I sort of quickly, I usually do, by the way, just, I
- 38:37usually do a little bit more preparation, but just at, at,
- 38:43but just from a snapshot, I could clearly see as a
- 38:45manifesting generator. Obviously being one myself, I
- 38:49did expect you to be 1, Terry, in all honesty, because I could
- 38:52see that you do a lot of things at once.
- 38:55You love, you can see that you're someone who loves a lot
- 38:58of variety. You're definitely a doer.
- 39:01You're doing lots of different things.
- 39:04I, I, I watch you on, on Facebook and I can see the
- 39:07amount of things that you're doing.
- 39:09Variety is very important to you in you're you're someone who
- 39:13again, you're definitely someone who is a time vendor.
- 39:16I you you would have in your career.
- 39:18I, I would say that you have quantum leaped many times and
- 39:22moved forward in a fast pace. Would that be correct?
- 39:26Oh 100% and I seem to be. And I wonder if this has got
- 39:30anything to do with the human design too.
- 39:33I seem to thrive when the going gets tough, the tough get going,
- 39:38and I can actually expound some pretty astronomical energy.
- 39:44Yeah, Yep. And actually if I just quickly
- 39:46look back at your chart, the reason why you are like this is
- 39:49you have a a defined root centre in your chart and that's and
- 39:54your, that someone who has that defined root centre is actually
- 39:59someone who copes very well under pressure and does things
- 40:02very quickly at the last minute. So you have, you have to do,
- 40:06you've got this amount of work that you need to do and you've
- 40:09got a deadline and you will just get it done and you thrive in
- 40:14that in. Environment.
- 40:15So that doesn't surprise me at all.
- 40:16It's very clear in your chart. A Uni.
- 40:20Student, you know, I, I and I run to the finishing line and
- 40:26that's so true. And I operate so much better.
- 40:30But maybe I would have told myself, and I have, if I'm going
- 40:33to be honest, a lot of mistruths about myself.
- 40:38Oh, I'm disorganized, I'm this, I'm that, and all those seeds of
- 40:43doubt. And This is why I can't
- 40:44emphasize to people that by knowing who you are and why you
- 40:50do the things that you do, or it's an explanation of the way
- 40:56that you roll for life. But I do have a question for you
- 41:00as well, which I'm extremely interested to know.
- 41:03And it may have nothing to do with human design, but I'm going
- 41:06to ask it anyways. And that is that when you're
- 41:09going through, you know, those chapters of your life and let's
- 41:13face it, you know, our life is like a, a book and you've got
- 41:18different chapters. And you know, I must admit, I
- 41:22was going through status quo for a very, very, very long time up
- 41:26until last year. And it was almost like the end
- 41:32of 23, early 24. And then it's like we hit the
- 41:38road running. And there was so many challenges
- 41:44that I had to overcome, but every single one of them has
- 41:49kind of prepped me and sharpened my, I guess my, my genius zone.
- 41:57No pun intended for the show here, but it's, it's brought out
- 42:01who I am, even though there are some massive crises going on.
- 42:07You know, my strength as an advocate and the the many
- 42:12challenges that I've faced where I've got to come up, you know,
- 42:16with people and suddenly speak my truth and do the absolute
- 42:21opposite of shrinking back. Here's my question.
- 42:25Is that kind of determined in my human design chart?
- 42:30Has that got anything to do with it or is that just life?
- 42:35Look, I can actually see from your profile, you've got a line,
- 42:39you've got the 2 lines. There's a four, six.
- 42:42Your first line, which is the 4 is what you see in yourself.
- 42:45And that's actually the opportunist.
- 42:47You're an amazing networker. You use your networks in your
- 42:51like your networks are really important to you and you use
- 42:54your networks in, in bringing out all of your, all of your
- 42:56skills and all of your, all of your talents.
- 42:59And that's so obvious in the work that you do.
- 43:02Then your line 6 actually, which is your, your second, which
- 43:05people see in you, you're actually a role model.
- 43:08Now that doesn't surprise me at all.
- 43:10And it probably doesn't surprise you and anybody who's working
- 43:12with you or watching you or watching this, you can clearly
- 43:16see Gary, that you are such a few of this amazing role model
- 43:19with all of this experience and knowledge that you're actually
- 43:22sharing with others. So when with the line 6, it's
- 43:25quite, it's quite unique that comes in three stages.
- 43:28And from over the age of 50, you're actually are you're, you
- 43:33really step into your role model status where you are actually
- 43:38sharing all of your knowledge and all of your experience with
- 43:41people. And so for you, it's within your
- 43:43networks. And, and so you're actually just
- 43:46really stepping into your power and everything that's happened
- 43:49to you in your life, It is, it is really just continuing to add
- 43:54to your experience and your knowledge that you can share and
- 43:57help other people. So as as challenging as you,
- 44:01some of the experiences have been, I'm sure you're, you're,
- 44:04you're actually to being able to help others and ship by by
- 44:08sharing that knowledge. If you're actually impacting
- 44:11thousands of people, I'm I'm quite confident with that.
- 44:14Well, look, thank you so much because that's what this show is
- 44:18all about. Literally.
- 44:20It's about, you know, being an ambassador for the pain that
- 44:25each and every coach, healer and leader has gone through and
- 44:30turning that into your power. And I have to say there is a
- 44:34leader in all of us. So on that note, you know, it's
- 44:39if you can understand your human design and you can have someone
- 44:45as incredibly wise as Catherine to actually lead and guide you
- 44:53through that process so you can come to know who you are.
- 44:56You know, you can understand yourself so that you come into
- 45:00this incredible acceptance rather than letting people say,
- 45:04oh, you've you've got ADHD or you're a procrastinator, or you
- 45:09can't do this or you can't do that.
- 45:11All of those stories suddenly become null and void and you can
- 45:17rise in your power. So I'm going to conclude with
- 45:21the question that I ask every single person that comes onto
- 45:24the show. And that is, you know, for your
- 45:28person and you know that you're dealing with people that are
- 45:31inclined to move into that burnout.
- 45:35And probably because they're very highly integral people,
- 45:43they're very committed, they're very passionate.
- 45:46But it's almost because of that that they put themselves into
- 45:50that position of burnout. And they're also very
- 45:53misunderstood. So I would like to ask you the
- 45:57question because we don't want you to go off the show and then
- 46:00think, oh, I would have loved to share that.
- 46:04What is something that you can either perhaps reiterate that
- 46:09you've already said was something you'd really like to
- 46:12put out there to the the audience that is going to be
- 46:17tuning in and who is tuning into this show right now?
- 46:21I am passionate about people actually coming back to
- 46:26themselves and finding their true authentic self and just
- 46:29coming home to themselves and just really stepping in their
- 46:34power and understanding who they are and, and, and removing all
- 46:39that conditioning that society has put on them.
- 46:42And just be yourself and love yourself and be really proud of
- 46:46the person that you are. And like, really stand up and
- 46:49go, yes, this is who I am and I love it.
- 46:53And that's, that's really what, that's what that's what I do
- 46:56with my clients. That's the impact that I want to
- 46:58make on the world. I just want everyone to be able
- 47:01to find their joy living in their true authentic lives, true
- 47:05authentic life, living in their true authentic self.
- 47:08That's that's what I really wanted to do.
- 47:10Wow, that's amazing. So if you're ready to step into
- 47:14your true authentic self, no shrinking back and totally
- 47:20owning yourself, then jump into our show notes.
- 47:24Check out where you can get hold of Catherine and you know,
- 47:29remember your life. You've only got one life here on
- 47:33earth. At least that's what I believe,
- 47:36and you may as well leave it to the absolute full.
- 47:39Catherine, thank you so much for bringing so much wisdom and so
- 47:44much knowledge and so many gold Nuggets to us on the show here
