- 0:29Speaker 3: point nine. Billy the Kid, Candice Lopez is here, Producer
- 0:32Speaker 3: Pooh is here, right and early, and I'm excited today
- 0:35Speaker 3: because we have a big update on a Dirty Little
- 0:37Speaker 3: Secret that we did yesterday. And people always ask their like,
- 0:40Speaker 3: I wish you could do more updates. We try, right,
- 0:43Speaker 3: trust me, it's not easy because some people just don't
- 0:45Speaker 3: want to call back in or you know, sometimes they do.
- 0:48Speaker 4: But this one was a big one that I'm like,
- 0:50Speaker 4: we gotta get involved in this one.
- 0:52Speaker 3: The guy basically yesterday and Dirty Little Secret said that
- 0:55Speaker 3: his ex girlfriend reached out. He's with someone new there
- 0:59Speaker 3: for like nine months, but as ex reached out, she
- 1:02Speaker 3: is unfortunately an alcoholic and they broke up because of that.
- 1:04Speaker 3: She was struggling. Now she's sober and wants him back.
- 1:08Speaker 3: Oh so he dms me after we put him on
- 1:10Speaker 3: a dirty little secret. He says, I have dinner with
- 1:13Speaker 3: my girlfriend tonight to talk about some stuff. So we
- 1:16Speaker 3: have an update today at seven thirty, which I'm excited about.
- 1:19Speaker 5: No me too good for him though, that he's actually
- 1:21Speaker 5: doing something, you know about it?
- 1:24Speaker 3: Yeah, we'll see. Maybe I don't know what's going to happen. True,
- 1:27Speaker 3: right before Valentine's Day two. You don't want any kind
- 1:30Speaker 3: of drama.
- 1:30Speaker 6: No, this is a lot.
- 1:32Speaker 4: It's happening today, seven thirty, Candislopez, what's up?
- 1:34Speaker 6: Yeah, I got a question.
- 1:35Speaker 5: In twenty twenty six, Are we just expected to bag
- 1:38Speaker 5: our own groceries at the grocery store?
- 1:40Speaker 6: Is that what's going on? Because yesterday I was at.
- 1:43Speaker 5: The grocery store and I usually do self checkout, but
- 1:46Speaker 5: I'm like, you know, lately, I'm just tired of scanning
- 1:48Speaker 5: and bagging, and then the machines are all like the
- 1:51Speaker 5: last time I did it, I had to recall like
- 1:53Speaker 5: three things and call the girl over three.
- 1:55Speaker 6: Times to take stuff, all this whole mess. So I
- 1:57Speaker 6: got Yeah, I got in the line line with the person.
- 2:00Speaker 5: I'm like, Okay, there's a bagger, there's a checker.
- 2:02Speaker 6: We're good. Well, as soon as I get up there,
- 2:04Speaker 6: the bagger leaves and leaves my girl hanging, and I'm like, well,
- 2:08Speaker 6: am I supposed to pick up the slack?
- 2:09Speaker 4: Because then you feel bad?
- 2:10Speaker 7: Yes?
- 2:11Speaker 4: And then you're bagging your own stuff and you're paying more, right,
- 2:13Speaker 4: you're paying all this money and you're working, you've got
- 2:15Speaker 4: a part time job.
- 2:16Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 2:17Speaker 6: It's so awkward though, because I'm like, okay, am I
- 2:20Speaker 6: going to start bagging? Are you going to start bagging?
- 2:21Speaker 6: Or you gonna hand me the cold stuff?
- 2:23Speaker 3: And you can tell they feel bad too, because they're
- 2:25Speaker 3: like trying to do thirteen things at one time, right,
- 2:28Speaker 3: But yeah, no, that's we're baggers.
- 2:30Speaker 6: Yeah. It just is so awkward for me, and I
- 2:32Speaker 6: try my best, but I'm not good at it. Like
- 2:34Speaker 6: they know how to stack.
- 2:35Speaker 5: Stuff and how to put the cold stuff together and
- 2:37Speaker 5: load it in the cart, and I just like, go
- 2:39Speaker 5: rogue and just throw everything in the bag, shut the cart.
- 2:42Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't know. It's just so awkward.
- 2:43Speaker 5: I hate going to the grocery store these days because
- 2:45Speaker 5: then I end up bagging.
- 2:47Speaker 6: And I don't know if it's my job or not.
- 2:48Speaker 6: I guess it is.
- 2:49Speaker 4: I didn't bag my spaghetti sauce properly. This was like
- 2:53Speaker 4: a month ago. I didn't double bag it.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Yeah, because I'm trying to do everything myself, and I'm like, well,
- 2:58Speaker 3: just throwing the bag whatever. So I throw in the bag,
- 3:00Speaker 3: get on the parking lot, grab it by one handle,
- 3:01Speaker 3: and it falls out in the middle of.
- 3:02Speaker 4: Tom Someone just smashes on the parking lot and I
- 3:06Speaker 4: was like.
- 3:06Speaker 6: Okay, cool, Yeah, no one to blame but yourself.
- 3:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:09Speaker 3: I know, but no, I still blame them. I still
- 3:11Speaker 3: blame them. I touched them out in my head. Yeah, well,
- 3:15Speaker 3: sorry about that. It is Producer pres Here. He was
- 3:18Speaker 3: at Target last night doing something closed.
- 3:22Speaker 8: I was helping my son Brendan, try to buy a
- 3:25Speaker 8: gift for his teacher because it's her birthday today.
- 3:28Speaker 4: I'm arguing with this kid.
- 3:29Speaker 8: He's like, he said, Dad, I just want to get
- 3:31Speaker 8: her a Home Depot card because she's always talking about
- 3:33Speaker 8: her garden.
- 3:34Speaker 4: I was like star for I was just like, why
- 3:38Speaker 4: don't you just get her Starbucks or Chick fil A.
- 3:40Speaker 4: He's like, well, how are you gonna take him to
- 3:42Speaker 4: get him what he wants and then tell him what
- 3:43Speaker 4: he's going to get, because I don't want him to
- 3:45Speaker 4: look stupid. He's not stupid. He knows his teacher. Yeah,
- 3:49Speaker 4: I don't know. I just I was like, you're not
- 3:51Speaker 4: spending your money?
- 3:53Speaker 9: True?
- 3:53Speaker 4: No, I did pay for the card.
- 3:55Speaker 6: I did?
- 3:55Speaker 4: Yeah, right, yeah, I paid for the card, not the
- 3:58Speaker 4: gift card. I paid for the cary. I helped him
- 4:04Speaker 4: and he was like, hey, can we get Crumble? I
- 4:05Speaker 4: was like, you got Crumble money? He was like yep,
- 4:08Speaker 4: and he bought me a chocolate chip cookie.
- 4:10Speaker 6: So wow, that's for him.
- 4:13Speaker 4: That diet out the window.
- 4:14Speaker 6: Yeah, we're starting next week. Remember after Valentine.
- 4:17Speaker 4: I just talked yesterday we were gonna eat better today.
- 4:20Speaker 5: Well, no, I think we're gonna wait till after Valentine's
- 4:22Speaker 5: Day because it's gonna be treats and stuff.
- 4:24Speaker 4: Valentine's Day means nothing to put an eye You know
- 4:28Speaker 4: what Valentine's Day is for us? Saturday, That's what it is.
- 4:33Speaker 6: There's gonna be treats and candy. Where are you sure
- 4:36Speaker 6: up here?
- 4:37Speaker 4: I'm gonna find a cake or something for us. There's something,
- 4:39Speaker 4: some cupcakes, something.
- 4:41Speaker 6: Huh when I have little candies.
- 4:42Speaker 4: For y'all, you're miserable on Valentine's Day? Sorry, I know,
- 4:46Speaker 4: but you're gonna be my Valentine who cares.
- 4:48Speaker 6: Well, that's a spirit.
- 4:49Speaker 4: Excuse me, you'll be my Valentine? No, I absolutely will be.
- 4:55Speaker 4: I'm sorry, Billy the Kid in the morning only.
- 5:01Speaker 3: Anyways, Sorry if you hear me sniffling. It's thirty below
- 5:04Speaker 3: in the studio right now, it is maybe forty below.
- 5:07Speaker 3: I just saw him penguin walk by. Welcome to the
- 5:10Speaker 3: Arctic Circle. Candas has thirteen blankets on.
- 5:13Speaker 6: Oh yeah, thank god for he's blank By.
- 5:14Speaker 3: The way, yesterday it was so hot in the studio
- 5:17Speaker 3: that we had to take our clothes off.
- 5:19Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 5:19Speaker 4: No, not naked, but you know, we were taking hoodies off.
- 5:22Speaker 3: We were shedding layers. Yeah, and they had a portable
- 5:24Speaker 3: ac unit here because something's broke. Today it's so cold.
- 5:27Speaker 3: I can't feel my toes.
- 5:29Speaker 6: Yeah, my hands are freezing. I'm under the blankets.
- 5:32Speaker 4: I'm literally shivering, Candas, what is going on? Well.
- 5:35Speaker 5: Authorities in Arizona have released a man detained in connection
- 5:38Speaker 5: with the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie. The man was taken
- 5:41Speaker 5: in after a traffic stop about an hour south of Tucson.
- 5:45Speaker 5: So he's believed to just be a delivery driver. Why
- 5:48Speaker 5: they stopped this man, I think he was riding with
- 5:51Speaker 5: his wife at the time.
- 5:53Speaker 6: They haven't said just yet what caused that.
- 5:55Speaker 5: They also searched a home, but yesterday surveillance footage of
- 5:59Speaker 5: a mask per person outside the home was released, which
- 6:02Speaker 5: was really the first break in this case we've had.
- 6:05Speaker 5: We've all been following it since February first, when Savannah
- 6:08Speaker 5: Gotri's mom was reported missing. But I feel like the
- 6:10Speaker 5: country is just captivated by this story and the fact
- 6:15Speaker 5: that we know nothing other than these photos that came
- 6:18Speaker 5: out yesterday.
- 6:18Speaker 3: I don't want to be a conspiracy theory guy, but
- 6:21Speaker 3: here I go. Yeah, none of it makes any sense. No,
- 6:24Speaker 3: to the point, where do you remember when this first happened?
- 6:28Speaker 3: Because I'm like a true crime junkie, sure by far
- 6:30Speaker 3: not an expert, but I don't understand. When they first
- 6:34Speaker 3: released information about this case, they said that they thought
- 6:38Speaker 3: the alleged suspect damaged and ruined the door ring cam.
- 6:43Speaker 6: Right, didn't they say they removed the cameras.
- 6:45Speaker 3: They said they removed it and it was gone, right,
- 6:48Speaker 3: And I even went crazy looking to see if I
- 6:50Speaker 3: could find that news report because I'm like, this doesn't
- 6:52Speaker 3: make any sense.
- 6:53Speaker 4: Now, all of a sudden, you have the cameras and.
- 6:55Speaker 3: The footage gets released after the fact, like we're talking
- 6:58Speaker 3: days and days after, like ten days, ten days, This
- 7:01Speaker 3: would have been helpful right away. And I know they
- 7:03Speaker 3: had to subpoena nest or whatever to get the footage.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Here's another scary thing. Shouldn't even have a subscription or
- 7:10Speaker 3: wasn't recording on that camera?
- 7:11Speaker 5: They said, right, They're saying that this footage came from
- 7:14Speaker 5: quote back end to systems, which yeah, is really interesting
- 7:18Speaker 5: because so or literally is every camera recording all the time?
- 7:22Speaker 4: Yes, yes, exactly, that's what that tells me.
- 7:25Speaker 5: Crazy we find footage from other missing persons cases or crimes.
- 7:29Speaker 3: That question solved, great question because they don't go through
- 7:33Speaker 3: enough effort to do it because it's not a famous person's.
- 7:35Speaker 4: Mom right, right, But I mean, I hate that, But
- 7:38Speaker 4: that's just the truth.
- 7:39Speaker 3: You want to talk about truth there it is because
- 7:41Speaker 3: it makes zero sense that, well, it's scary first of all,
- 7:45Speaker 3: that your your cameras are just recording no matter what,
- 7:48Speaker 3: right that means your alexis listening, no matter what?
- 7:50Speaker 4: Hu that means all I mean it.
- 7:52Speaker 6: Does, Yeah, no, for sure.
- 7:53Speaker 5: I just don't understand why it took ten days like
- 7:55Speaker 5: this would be the first place you go to. It
- 7:57Speaker 5: seems like getting whatever you know, paperwork together or clearance
- 8:01Speaker 5: would happen almost immediately in something like this.
- 8:04Speaker 6: And I don't know all the details.
- 8:06Speaker 3: And it's weird because this suspect of the person on
- 8:09Speaker 3: that video, it looks like if you had to dress
- 8:12Speaker 3: up somebody to be a bad guy. Yeah, it looks
- 8:14Speaker 3: like this is how you address him totally. He has
- 8:16Speaker 3: a gun holstered in the front of his pants in
- 8:19Speaker 3: like outside of his belt. Yeah, so, which would be
- 8:22Speaker 3: if you're a bad guy, the last thing you're gonna
- 8:24Speaker 3: do is put a gun outside so everybody can see it.
- 8:26Speaker 3: So if you're walking up and somebody likes to buy you,
- 8:28Speaker 3: they see a gun. None of it makes any sense, no.
- 8:33Speaker 5: And TMZ also reporting that for the first time, there
- 8:35Speaker 5: was activity in the bitcoin account connected to the ransom
- 8:39Speaker 5: note that was demanding six million dollars. Now whatever that
- 8:41Speaker 5: transaction was, that amount hasn't been released.
- 8:46Speaker 6: But there's just a lot going on with this. And
- 8:48Speaker 6: then on top of that, pizza deliveries are showing up.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Oh yeah, so there's people outside of the house and
- 8:55Speaker 3: how a Domino's guy gets all the way up to
- 8:57Speaker 3: the front door of a crime scene is beyond me,
- 9:00Speaker 3: right right. That just shows you how serious this investigation
- 9:02Speaker 3: is and how flawed it.
- 9:04Speaker 6: Already is honestly true.
- 9:05Speaker 3: It goes up to the door and it turns out
- 9:07Speaker 3: it's a YouTuber that's there covering the story.
- 9:10Speaker 4: Order pizza to the crime scene. Yeah, got unreal.
- 9:13Speaker 10: It is it is.
- 9:14Speaker 6: I'll keep you posted that if there's any updates this morning.
- 9:16Speaker 5: And all Arlington ID schools kept students indoors yesterday after
- 9:21Speaker 5: an oder release was mistaken for a gas leak. So
- 9:25Speaker 5: this started around eight thirty in the morning yesterday with
- 9:27Speaker 5: the fire department got multiple calls from people from different
- 9:30Speaker 5: parts of the city saying it smelled like natural gas. Well,
- 9:34Speaker 5: Arlington ID posted to social media about.
- 9:36Speaker 6: A major gas leak.
- 9:38Speaker 5: It was later determined Atmos Energy says they were releasing
- 9:41Speaker 5: an odorizer, which is added to natural gas to give
- 9:45Speaker 5: it a detectable odor, so you know, you can tell
- 9:48Speaker 5: where the gas leak is.
- 9:49Speaker 6: But this just spread through the city.
- 9:52Speaker 5: They said it was an over pressurization at a compression
- 9:55Speaker 5: station in South Arlington, So if you smelled that yesterday,
- 9:59Speaker 5: that's what it was, okay, or it.
- 10:01Speaker 4: Was just pooh passing through.
- 10:04Speaker 6: Real Quick Guys.
- 10:05Speaker 5: Britney Spears has sold her music catalog. It's unclear how
- 10:08Speaker 5: much music publisher Primary Wave bought the catalog for, but
- 10:12Speaker 5: it's been described as a landmark deal, possibly in the
- 10:15Speaker 5: same range as what Justin Bieber sold his for, which
- 10:18Speaker 5: was about two hundred million dollars.
- 10:21Speaker 6: But yeah, wow, good for her.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Two hundred million dollars. They're saying maybe more, yeah, possibly,
- 10:26Speaker 3: but yeah, she's got some cash.
- 10:28Speaker 6: Now, let's see what she does with it.
- 10:30Speaker 4: Yeah, fly some more knives and lift them around, you know,
- 10:34Speaker 4: just do some dancing.
- 10:35Speaker 5: Yeah, hopefully she's just gonna go on and hang out
- 10:38Speaker 5: with their kids and buy a new house and just chill.
- 10:42Speaker 4: Yeah, that's too normal.
- 10:43Speaker 6: All right.
- 10:43Speaker 5: I'm Canda slowpezles your Texas top.
- 10:45Speaker 6: Story of chest to promise you'll feel better.
- 10:50Speaker 7: Welcome to the Dirty Little Secret.
- 10:52Speaker 11: Here we go.
- 10:52Speaker 3: It's makes one on two point nine a bail ay
- 10:54Speaker 3: a kid, Canda Slow Pants producer, Pooh, Dirty Little Secret.
- 10:57Speaker 3: And we have an update from a Dirty Little Secret
- 10:59Speaker 3: coming up at seven thirty, the one we did yesterday
- 11:01Speaker 3: which I cannot wait for this. I just DM the
- 11:04Speaker 3: guy and I was like, we still good Ryan, and
- 11:06Speaker 3: he's like, yep, I don't tell me too much, but basically,
- 11:08Speaker 3: what happened if you didn't here Yesterday's Dirty Little Secret.
- 11:10Speaker 3: This guy has been with this girl for nine months
- 11:13Speaker 3: and everything's going good. You know, she's like great and
- 11:16Speaker 3: out of nowhere, his ex girlfriend of five years reaches
- 11:18Speaker 3: out and they broke up because she had some issues
- 11:21Speaker 3: with alcohol, and she's sober now and she wants this
- 11:25Speaker 3: guy back. And she said, straight up, that's what I want.
- 11:29Speaker 3: Don't care if you have a girlfriend. I'm sober now
- 11:31Speaker 3: and I can see clearly. And he tells me after
- 11:34Speaker 3: we get off the phone a little bit later, before
- 11:36Speaker 3: the show is done, that he's already set up time tonight,
- 11:40Speaker 3: meeting last night to talk to his girlfriend about it.
- 11:43Speaker 6: What do you mean, girl, what do you mean?
- 11:46Speaker 4: Like what you're going to talk to.
- 11:47Speaker 3: Your girlfriend about it? So I'm dying to know what happens.
- 11:50Speaker 3: We'll talk to him at seven point thirty coming up
- 11:53Speaker 3: on the show Dirty Little Secret. If you got one
- 11:55Speaker 3: eight three, three, seven eight seven one oh two nine,
- 11:57Speaker 3: no matter what it is, maybe you were an idiot
- 12:00Speaker 3: like me and broke of any machine when you were
- 12:01Speaker 3: a kid and shattered the glass. It could be something big,
- 12:04Speaker 3: something little, something serious, whatever, you got one?
- 12:07Speaker 12: How are you good morning?
- 12:08Speaker 11: I'm good?
- 12:08Speaker 4: How are you good? Okay, so you have a secret
- 12:11Speaker 4: what is going on?
- 12:13Speaker 2: All right?
- 12:13Speaker 12: Well, I never told anyone this, Uh, kind of one
- 12:17Speaker 12: of those things that like it's in the back of
- 12:19Speaker 12: my mind, you know, more than I want to admit.
- 12:22Speaker 12: When I was younger, like college age, I did something
- 12:27Speaker 12: pretty shady.
- 12:29Speaker 4: Twice.
- 12:33Speaker 12: I was broke and stressed, and you know, kind of
- 12:36Speaker 12: convinced myself that the world was unfair and all that,
- 12:38Speaker 12: and you know, big companies had endless money, and you know,
- 12:41Speaker 12: I thought what I did didn't really matter, so I
- 12:45Speaker 12: kind of stole.
- 12:47Speaker 4: Stole I had.
- 12:49Speaker 12: Yeah, I had a hond Civic that desperately needed a
- 12:52Speaker 12: set of tires. So I rented a Honda Civic the
- 12:58Speaker 12: same year in all and and I swapped the tires out.
- 13:06Speaker 6: No way, I took the tires from a rental car
- 13:10Speaker 6: for your.
- 13:10Speaker 12: Car had brand new tires, and it worked out perfectly.
- 13:17Speaker 12: No one ever said a thing. And a couple of
- 13:19Speaker 12: years later I did the same thing with another car,
- 13:22Speaker 12: oh that I had, and nothing happened.
- 13:24Speaker 2: How do they not know?
- 13:25Speaker 11: How?
- 13:26Speaker 3: I don't want to say this is brilliant. I don't
- 13:28Speaker 3: advocate stealing. How did I never think of this or
- 13:32Speaker 3: never hear this?
- 13:33Speaker 5: That's crazy too because now like last time I rented
- 13:35Speaker 5: a car, we had to drive through like a little
- 13:38Speaker 5: thing and like had an AI think that took all
- 13:40Speaker 5: these pictures of the car and stuff like.
- 13:42Speaker 6: You could never get away with.
- 13:43Speaker 4: That fancy run a car place.
- 13:45Speaker 6: I don't know it some something I don't know.
- 13:47Speaker 4: I just can't even drop it off in good luck.
- 13:49Speaker 4: Yeah it was. If anything, I'm checking to make sure
- 13:51Speaker 4: they know I didn't.
- 13:51Speaker 6: Ding it, or I'm taking pictures for myself.
- 13:55Speaker 3: You just take the tires off and just swap the
- 13:57Speaker 3: tires out. You get brand new tires and you're gone.
- 14:00Speaker 6: Wow, oh my. I mean those people don't care. They're
- 14:04Speaker 6: just probably running around checking it. It's got tires, right.
- 14:07Speaker 4: Like do they check for this?
- 14:09Speaker 3: Because this has got to be something that people other
- 14:11Speaker 3: people have done or you know, or been caught of it.
- 14:15Speaker 3: But I've never heard of it either, And I thought
- 14:16Speaker 3: I'm from I hang around some very shady people and
- 14:19Speaker 3: half in the past pooh.
- 14:21Speaker 4: Heard of this. No, No, it's brilliant. I worked at
- 14:24Speaker 4: Hurts at the airport. Oh, here were I did. Now
- 14:27Speaker 4: he worked at Hurts.
- 14:28Speaker 2: I did.
- 14:28Speaker 4: I worked at Hurts. This guy's had every job, he's
- 14:31Speaker 4: one hundred and eight.
- 14:32Speaker 8: But what I'm telling you, all they did was we
- 14:34Speaker 8: drive it to the bay and there's a whole bunch
- 14:36Speaker 8: of tires of the backlout of the airport and that's it.
- 14:39Speaker 4: And then some guy would switch them and that's it.
- 14:41Speaker 4: We're just driving back up. When did you work at Hurts?
- 14:45Speaker 4: That was like right on oh two oh two, I
- 14:48Speaker 4: worked at it Hurts. Yeah, well you know what put
- 14:52Speaker 4: that on the list of many jobs we can't confirm.
- 14:56Speaker 3: So all right, so they don't check they I want
- 14:59Speaker 3: to one from a rent a car company to check me. Now,
- 15:01Speaker 3: thankfully you haven't done this recently, so I think the
- 15:04Speaker 3: the statute of limitations is up, so you can't get.
- 15:07Speaker 4: Busted at this point.
- 15:09Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 15:09Speaker 12: I did it twice. You know, I got the little
- 15:11Speaker 12: college ade and I look back and I kind of
- 15:13Speaker 12: cringe on it, and it was not the right thing
- 15:15Speaker 12: to do. You know, I've grown up since then.
- 15:18Speaker 4: Well at least you know that. I mean, at least
- 15:20Speaker 4: you know that, and you've come a long way. Well,
- 15:22Speaker 4: thank you, sir.
- 15:22Speaker 3: I almost feel guilty putting this on because now other
- 15:26Speaker 3: people are going to get this idea.
- 15:27Speaker 5: Right, But I mean it's not for everybody.
- 15:33Speaker 4: It's not for everybody at all. So sir, thank you.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Your secret is safe with us, and I appreciate you.
- 15:39Speaker 3: Rent a car companies are not going to appreciate this.
- 15:41Speaker 12: Well, sorry to them, but thank you.
- 15:43Speaker 7: All right?
- 15:44Speaker 4: How did I never think of that? Like, hey, you
- 15:47Speaker 4: just need new tires, you go in, grab a new
- 15:49Speaker 4: set and just what's crazy? Oh my goshty little secret. Yeah, no,
- 15:55Speaker 4: do not do that. I'm not advocating it. I'm just
- 15:57Speaker 4: saying it's kind of brilliant.
- 16:00Speaker 11: Tents with Billy the Kid in the morning only on
- 16:03Speaker 11: the New.
- 16:05Speaker 3: It's a busy day today. It is in Texas Top Stories.
- 16:09Speaker 3: A lot happening.
- 16:09Speaker 4: Candice Lopez, what's going on?
- 16:11Speaker 5: Well, the Federal Aviation Administration has issued temporary flight restrictions
- 16:16Speaker 5: over El Paso for quote special security reasons. All flights
- 16:20Speaker 5: will be grounded to and from El Paso International Airport.
- 16:23Speaker 6: For the next ten days. So this does include.
- 16:27Speaker 5: Commercial cargo, general aviation medevac.
- 16:30Speaker 13: Uh.
- 16:31Speaker 5: This no fly zone also applies to the airspace there
- 16:34Speaker 5: and also Santa Teresa, New Mexico.
- 16:37Speaker 6: So they've classified this.
- 16:38Speaker 5: Airspace as national defense airspace.
- 16:42Speaker 6: Basically, if you enter, you may not end up exiting.
- 16:45Speaker 5: Travelers are being told to contact their airlines to get
- 16:48Speaker 5: the most up to date flight info.
- 16:50Speaker 6: If it's a.
- 16:51Speaker 3: Drone, you're like, well, we'll figure once we figure out
- 16:53Speaker 3: what his drone is, we'll open up airspace, right TVD Yeah,
- 16:56Speaker 3: why ten date? Why ten days?
- 16:58Speaker 5: Right, there's a specific date that has been called out.
- 17:01Speaker 5: I think it's February twentieth. Yeah, very interesting. I'll definitely
- 17:04Speaker 5: keep you posted.
- 17:06Speaker 6: Guys. This Olympics really feels weird for me.
- 17:08Speaker 5: I don't know if there's just so much going on
- 17:09Speaker 5: in the news right now, but this story is going viral.
- 17:12Speaker 5: An athlete from Norway admitted to cheating on his girlfriend
- 17:16Speaker 5: right after he won a bronze medal in the biathlon.
- 17:19Speaker 5: So that interview wasn't in English, but he basically said
- 17:23Speaker 5: he cheated on the love of his life, the most
- 17:25Speaker 5: beautiful and kindest person. He wished that he could share
- 17:29Speaker 5: this with her. He said, you know, I'm not ready
- 17:32Speaker 5: to give up. I accept the consequences and regret this
- 17:35Speaker 5: with all my heart. But then they did another interview
- 17:39Speaker 5: with him where he is in English and listen to
- 17:41Speaker 5: what he says about that made.
- 17:42Speaker 10: The choice to tell the world what I did. So
- 17:46Speaker 10: maybe maybe there's a chance that she will see what
- 17:51Speaker 10: she MA really means to me. I don't know if
- 17:53Speaker 10: it's the right choice or not, but it was the
- 17:56Speaker 10: choice I made. I don't want to think I didn't
- 17:59Speaker 10: try everything to get their back.
- 18:01Speaker 6: Oh wow, wow, I mean to take him back.
- 18:05Speaker 3: She's obviously not calling him back and for obvious reasons. Yeah,
- 18:09Speaker 3: he won bronze.
- 18:10Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm sorry, third place, My god, my gosh, you
- 18:17Speaker 4: gotta win gold. If you want her, you want bronze.
- 18:21Speaker 3: I mean that's good, okay, I mean the next step
- 18:25Speaker 3: down is aluminum foil.
- 18:27Speaker 5: Did you see that They're saying all the medals are
- 18:29Speaker 5: breaking on the athletes and stuff. They're coming undone from
- 18:32Speaker 5: the strap from the ribbons?
- 18:34Speaker 4: Who want brass? Who won brass in the Olympics. So yeah,
- 18:40Speaker 4: even copper either way, would you take him back?
- 18:44Speaker 3: Candas if you saw this guy, because in the original
- 18:47Speaker 3: interview where he said he cheated after he won the bronze,
- 18:50Speaker 3: he cried and he said he was visibly visibly shaken.
- 18:55Speaker 4: Does that make you go, wow? You know what, he
- 18:57Speaker 4: said that in front of the world.
- 18:59Speaker 6: Let me think of this, it would it would make
- 19:02Speaker 6: me think twice about it. Yeah, and this was a
- 19:05Speaker 6: true mistake.
- 19:06Speaker 5: But at the same time, like there's plenty of other
- 19:08Speaker 5: Olympians out there.
- 19:09Speaker 6: Girl. Oh, I'm just saying, you know, he cheated.
- 19:13Speaker 4: He's the gold medalist single exactly.
- 19:18Speaker 5: We'll see what happens, guys. Post Malone is literally the best.
- 19:21Speaker 5: He was playing a free bud Light super Bowl show
- 19:23Speaker 5: last weekend when he found out they were selling beers
- 19:26Speaker 5: for fourteen dollars.
- 19:27Speaker 6: He was not happy and started calling this out. So
- 19:31Speaker 6: I guess he was first.
- 19:32Speaker 5: Joking, you know, Dallas Cowboys fans deserve free beer. Absolutely true, right,
- 19:37Speaker 5: But then he started joking saying he would cover part
- 19:39Speaker 5: of the tab, trying to drop the price of beers
- 19:42Speaker 5: to seven.
- 19:42Speaker 6: Dollars and then five dollars. And I just love how
- 19:45Speaker 6: he sticks up for his fans this way.
- 19:47Speaker 4: I did. But Post it's like that everywhere at every
- 19:51Speaker 4: show you do.
- 19:51Speaker 3: I don't know if you know, but I mean it's
- 19:53Speaker 3: expensive to get beer at shows.
- 19:56Speaker 11: It's right.
- 19:56Speaker 6: He hasn't paid for a beer in a long time
- 19:58Speaker 6: at a show.
- 19:59Speaker 4: Apparently your post malone. You're like, well, what fourteen dollars?
- 20:03Speaker 3: Sometimes they're more. Oh yeah, sometimes a beer is more
- 20:06Speaker 3: than fourteen dollars at a concert or it's insane.
- 20:10Speaker 5: Yeah, but I just love that he takes notice of
- 20:12Speaker 5: these things. You know, he's down here leaving giant bar
- 20:15Speaker 5: tips and step at restaurants.
- 20:17Speaker 4: He's the best. I love that he does. He left
- 20:18Speaker 4: that one girl like what twenty grand or some yeah
- 20:21Speaker 4: on real good for him.
- 20:22Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm Candoslopez. Those are your Texas top stories.
- 20:25Speaker 3: Yeah, it's mixed one or two point nine and Bill
- 20:27Speaker 3: at a kid, Canda Slowpez producer poo is here. So
- 20:29Speaker 3: yesterday we had a dirty little secret that I mean
- 20:31Speaker 3: was it was pretty intense. But this guy called up
- 20:34Speaker 3: and he's been dating this girl for nine months, his
- 20:37Speaker 3: girlfriend now currently and he gets a call out of
- 20:40Speaker 3: nowhere from his ex of five years saying she's clean,
- 20:44Speaker 3: she's sober, she had some issues with alcohol, and she's
- 20:48Speaker 3: thinking clearly now and she wants him back.
- 20:51Speaker 4: Yeah, she wants him back.
- 20:52Speaker 3: And you could tell in its voice yesterday that he
- 20:55Speaker 3: was just torn emotionally about this. Yeah, I mean that's
- 20:58Speaker 3: why they broke up is because she was rugg and
- 21:00Speaker 3: it was a lot, so you could tell that there
- 21:03Speaker 3: was still a lot of feelings there. Oh yeah, And
- 21:06Speaker 3: he's like, I don't know what I'm gonna do and
- 21:08Speaker 3: we get off the phone.
- 21:09Speaker 4: I get a DM. It had to be maybe an
- 21:11Speaker 4: hour later if that going.
- 21:13Speaker 3: I told my girlfriend I need to talk to her
- 21:15Speaker 3: tonight and I'm like about what, And he's like about this,
- 21:19Speaker 3: and I'm like what.
- 21:19Speaker 4: We got to have an update.
- 21:20Speaker 3: So he's on the phone and I know it had
- 21:24Speaker 3: to be It had to be a lot the last
- 21:26Speaker 3: twenty four hours, Like, yeah.
- 21:28Speaker 11: I feel like I haven't slept since we talked, right,
- 21:31Speaker 11: So maybe.
- 21:32Speaker 7: Mine, Mike, you know, confusing, and I really don't know
- 21:34Speaker 7: how I'm I've all explained to you guys. I thought
- 21:37Speaker 7: about it NonStop. I mean that's all I did, and
- 21:40Speaker 7: I dictated every second. I finally called my mom.
- 21:44Speaker 11: You know, I've been asking everyone.
- 21:46Speaker 7: For advice, and she's kind of she's the like she
- 21:49Speaker 7: is my best friend, so she is. Whatever she says
- 21:52Speaker 7: is like, that's going to be.
- 21:52Speaker 11: The final decision.
- 21:54Speaker 7: You point, okay, And she said the same thing you
- 21:57Speaker 7: guys said, which I really appreciated and follow my heart.
- 22:00Speaker 11: I think she she knows, you know, she knows me
- 22:02Speaker 11: better than anyone, so she knows when I have a
- 22:04Speaker 11: spark in my voice, and she knows what I'm happiest.
- 22:07Speaker 11: And she told me that, you guys said, she said,
- 22:10Speaker 11: you know, to follow my heart, which is not in
- 22:13Speaker 11: my current situation. So as of this morning, guys, I
- 22:16Speaker 11: woke up a single man and I and I did.
- 22:19Speaker 11: I didn't need it.
- 22:21Speaker 6: Whoa do you know they were already you.
- 22:23Speaker 4: Already broke up with your girlfriend.
- 22:25Speaker 7: It's well, it felt dirty if you guys, basically I
- 22:29Speaker 7: have to I have to go and see this out
- 22:31Speaker 7: and see.
- 22:31Speaker 11: If my ex is sober and who I felt I
- 22:35Speaker 11: felt like I.
- 22:36Speaker 7: Was cheating if I didn't, you know, if it felt dirty,
- 22:39Speaker 7: And so I sent it and now that's done.
- 22:44Speaker 4: I mean, I'm not I'm not necessarily upset that you did.
- 22:47Speaker 4: I just didn't expect that. I was like, yeah, think
- 22:50Speaker 4: about it for a few days. So you already broke
- 22:52Speaker 4: things off. I mean done. Kind of good for you, Like,
- 22:57Speaker 4: I mean, that was extra bold on your book. I
- 23:00Speaker 4: mean it was honest. Though you can't you can't talk
- 23:02Speaker 4: to an if you really want to talk to an ex,
- 23:04Speaker 4: don't do it with me around. I mean, I got
- 23:06Speaker 4: respect for you doing that. Yeah, but not an easy
- 23:09Speaker 4: thing to do. Yeah.
- 23:10Speaker 11: I feel like if I didn't and then I.
- 23:12Speaker 7: Didn't talk to her about things, and I if I
- 23:14Speaker 7: broke up with or if I kept on seeing my girlfriend,
- 23:17Speaker 7: I would like she'd look.
- 23:18Speaker 11: In my eyes and know I was.
- 23:19Speaker 4: You know, how did she take it?
- 23:23Speaker 11: Well? About the worst conversation ever is you know? You know,
- 23:27Speaker 11: and I didn't. I did not tell her about my ex.
- 23:29Speaker 11: That's so I don't.
- 23:31Speaker 7: I don't know if that's I'm gonna try to hear,
- 23:33Speaker 7: y'all's depending on that. I just told her the truth,
- 23:35Speaker 7: which is at least, you know, like the majority of
- 23:36Speaker 7: the truth, and that's that my heart isn't with her,
- 23:39Speaker 7: which is like a parent because I'm evaluating.
- 23:43Speaker 11: Yeah, I told her my heart's not in it. Obviously
- 23:48Speaker 11: she I didn't tell you guys this.
- 23:49Speaker 7: You know, it's nine months so we were getting ready
- 23:52Speaker 7: to move in together, so that didn't make it easy.
- 23:55Speaker 11: And then obviously Valentine's Day, Oh my god.
- 24:01Speaker 4: I didn't even think you did it right before.
- 24:03Speaker 3: I mean, let me ask you this, can this if
- 24:06Speaker 3: someone's gonna break up with you, it's like Christmas do
- 24:07Speaker 3: you want to do you want them to wait?
- 24:08Speaker 4: And do you want to do the holidays with them?
- 24:10Speaker 4: Or would you rather just break it off?
- 24:11Speaker 6: I don't want to have holiday memories.
- 24:15Speaker 4: Rolls around. No, well it would have been their first
- 24:17Speaker 4: Valentin's Day together too, Oh yeah, no absolutely not no
- 24:21Speaker 4: not so some people might say, what a jerk for
- 24:24Speaker 4: doing that, But some people would say, no, good for you, No,
- 24:26Speaker 4: good for you.
- 24:27Speaker 6: It's painful, but it's better off this way.
- 24:30Speaker 7: I definitely felt like an asked, but I felt like
- 24:32Speaker 7: I'd feel like the worst one if, like you said,
- 24:34Speaker 7: if we do have like photos in our camera roll
- 24:36Speaker 7: from this Valentine's.
- 24:37Speaker 4: Day and then she is one of those you know,
- 24:39Speaker 4: what were.
- 24:40Speaker 11: You doing a year ago? Like that would worse on them.
- 24:43Speaker 3: So you you break that off. She's obviously upset and
- 24:47Speaker 3: rightfully so. And now I mean she's trying to take
- 24:50Speaker 3: this all in.
- 24:51Speaker 4: Now what do you do? Now you're you're kind of
- 24:53Speaker 4: call your ex or I did you did that?
- 24:59Speaker 14: Yeah, after after the breakout, it was like, let's just
- 25:03Speaker 14: get things in motion, because you know, just the what
- 25:06Speaker 14: you can imagine what I was stealing in my gut,
- 25:08Speaker 14: so I just needed to It's like if I'm gonna
- 25:10Speaker 14: end that, I need to see I need to really
- 25:12Speaker 14: figure this out and make sure, well, you know, figure
- 25:14Speaker 14: out if it was a mistake.
- 25:15Speaker 11: You're not. So yeah, I called her and funny enough,
- 25:19Speaker 11: we're actually gonna meet tonight, so that I'm I'm so excited. Guys,
- 25:24Speaker 11: I'm so nervous.
- 25:24Speaker 4: You're you're meeting her tonight.
- 25:26Speaker 11: I am.
- 25:27Speaker 7: Yeah, We're gonna go get dinner and talk about everything
- 25:31Speaker 7: over the last you know, since we've seen each.
- 25:33Speaker 11: Other, and you move fast, maybe too fast. I'm just
- 25:40Speaker 11: I'm trying to go with my gun.
- 25:41Speaker 4: I mean, you're still in love with her. Now, I
- 25:43Speaker 4: feel like I can really say I didn't say it.
- 25:44Speaker 4: The other you can do, but now I'm like, you
- 25:47Speaker 4: can do. And I don't feel that you're still in
- 25:49Speaker 4: love with her. You're in love and you moved on
- 25:51Speaker 4: because you felt like you had to. But here we are,
- 25:53Speaker 4: so okay, you're having dinner with your ex tonight to
- 25:58Speaker 4: talk about things, or maybe you're not gonna talk about things.
- 26:00Speaker 4: I mean, of course you're gonna talk about things.
- 26:02Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah, I.
- 26:04Speaker 7: Mean, I'm oh, guys, I'm so nervous for so many reasons.
- 26:07Speaker 7: It's I hope that she is what she says she is.
- 26:10Speaker 7: I hope she's sober, and you know, I hope it's
- 26:13Speaker 7: not like a blash in the past in the bad way.
- 26:17Speaker 7: I have a good feel I'm not nervous because I
- 26:19Speaker 7: know that she's she reached out to me, so I
- 26:21Speaker 7: know it. It's like I don't have to like win
- 26:23Speaker 7: her back over.
- 26:24Speaker 11: I think she's you know, she wants to see me.
- 26:27Speaker 7: I gosh, I just hope it's I hope it's the
- 26:29Speaker 7: spark is still there and I hope that she is
- 26:31Speaker 7: being honest.
- 26:32Speaker 4: That's a good point.
- 26:33Speaker 3: You don't know, like you got I do feel like
- 26:35Speaker 3: if you're going to find out, you got to meet
- 26:36Speaker 3: in person and talk to her. Well, this is this
- 26:39Speaker 3: is a crazy story. So can you give us an
- 26:43Speaker 3: update tomorrow?
- 26:44Speaker 10: Then?
- 26:44Speaker 4: I mean, I feel like you're part of the show now.
- 26:46Speaker 11: Yeah, at this point, you guys have helped me a lot,
- 26:50Speaker 11: and I yeah, I owe it to you guys for
- 26:53Speaker 11: I will absolutely call it them.
- 26:55Speaker 3: Well call us tomorrow, good luck at dinner tonight. Don't
- 26:57Speaker 3: be nervous, you know, just be you. That's all you
- 27:00Speaker 3: can do. And yeah, and see what happens. But I
- 27:03Speaker 3: wouldn't I would go into an open minded not thinking anything.
- 27:07Speaker 3: Just don't no expectations, just go in there and see
- 27:10Speaker 3: how it feels and if it's if it doesn't feel right,
- 27:13Speaker 3: then it doesn't feel right. But from what I know,
- 27:16Speaker 3: you you move fast, so maybe just take your time,
- 27:19Speaker 3: take your time, see what happens.
- 27:21Speaker 11: Right that I needed to hear that.
- 27:25Speaker 4: Yeah, we'll call us tomorrow and let us know.
- 27:27Speaker 6: Yeah, please call us.
- 27:29Speaker 11: We'll do Yeah, thank you. I wish me like, yeah,
- 27:31Speaker 11: thank you.
- 27:32Speaker 3: Okay, oh mom, I don't even know what to say.
- 27:37Speaker 3: I did not think he was going to say, oh, yeah,
- 27:39Speaker 3: I broke up with her. No, I would have had
- 27:42Speaker 3: I wouldn't have had the guts to do that.
- 27:44Speaker 4: No, that fast. I would have been like, just.
- 27:46Speaker 6: Wade, Yeah, this is like so sudden.
- 27:49Speaker 4: Is he the biggest jerk for doing that?
- 27:51Speaker 3: Or was that the right move? I want to know
- 27:52Speaker 3: from you. Eight three three seven eight seven one O
- 27:55Speaker 3: two nine. It looks like we'll get an update tomorrow too. Yeah,
- 27:57Speaker 3: it's mixed one o two point nine. We're about to
- 27:59Speaker 3: do that, but I'm getting so many calls about this
- 28:02Speaker 3: dirty little secret update that we just did. It's mixed
- 28:04Speaker 3: one or two point nine and Billy the Kid Candice
- 28:06Speaker 3: Lowpenn's producer, Pooh, if you missed it, this guy did
- 28:08Speaker 3: a dirty little secret yesterday that his girlfriend didn't know
- 28:11Speaker 3: that his ex had reached out to him and wants
- 28:13Speaker 3: him back. She had some issues with alcohol and she's
- 28:17Speaker 3: clean and sober now and she reached out to him.
- 28:19Speaker 4: And here we are. Yeah, and I did not know that.
- 28:24Speaker 3: The update we were going to get today is that
- 28:26Speaker 3: he met with his girlfriend and broke it off. Broke
- 28:29Speaker 3: it off with his girlfriend and the reactions are mixed.
- 28:33Speaker 3: And now he's meeting with his ex tonight and we're
- 28:34Speaker 3: gonna get an update tomorrow.
- 28:36Speaker 6: A lot.
- 28:36Speaker 3: It's a hold soap opera. I know, it's like so
- 28:40Speaker 3: much happening. I'm like, this guy moves so fast, Amy
- 28:43Speaker 3: and Forny.
- 28:43Speaker 4: Is he a jerk or not? Or what do you think?
- 28:45Speaker 13: Hate a jerk?
- 28:46Speaker 6: You think so?
- 28:48Speaker 13: Yes, that's just that to me, that's being selfish. He
- 28:52Speaker 13: doesn't even know he's putting the cart before horse. He
- 28:55Speaker 13: doesn't know what's gonna happen with him and this girl.
- 28:57Speaker 13: If she had an addiction back then, he could be
- 28:59Speaker 13: her trigger and she can go right back into it.
- 29:02Speaker 13: It's my husband, his extraunting him back when we got
- 29:04Speaker 13: together and we each over now and now we've been
- 29:07Speaker 13: married ten years.
- 29:09Speaker 3: Okay, wow, well at least you got a good man.
- 29:11Speaker 3: I'm glad this didn't happen to you. Well, thank you, Amy,
- 29:13Speaker 3: I appreciate you calling up Hi.
- 29:15Speaker 11: Thank you.
- 29:15Speaker 3: By Okay, now Megan doesn't think he's a jerk. Megan,
- 29:18Speaker 3: I just talked to Amy. Amy thought he was a jerk.
- 29:20Speaker 3: You don't think so, No way, Reilly.
- 29:23Speaker 9: Because just this, first of all, if your heart's not
- 29:25Speaker 9: in it enough, if you're debating that much about an X,
- 29:28Speaker 9: that she's on your mind for the last twenty four hours,
- 29:30Speaker 9: then unfortunately your heart's just not with the current one
- 29:33Speaker 9: and it's using a jerk just just string her along,
- 29:36Speaker 9: in my opinion, Yeah, yeah, And then y'all got to
- 29:39Speaker 9: tell you this story. The other thing is this story
- 29:41Speaker 9: gives me hope because I made the biggest mistake in
- 29:43Speaker 9: my life ten years ago, divorcing an X because we
- 29:46Speaker 9: both had these problems. I would give anything to have
- 29:49Speaker 9: that second chance. So I'm rooting for these people, oh.
- 29:54Speaker 6: Too.
- 29:54Speaker 4: To be honest, I know it's kind of I'm I
- 29:57Speaker 4: feel bad like I have a big heart so I
- 29:58Speaker 4: feel bad for the girl.
- 29:59Speaker 3: Who just got dumped before Valentine's Day. But you're right, Megan,
- 30:02Speaker 3: I see, I see where you would this would give
- 30:05Speaker 3: you hope. I mean, have you ever tried to reach
- 30:07Speaker 3: out to your ex or no?
- 30:08Speaker 9: Yeah, and I heard him so bad it took him
- 30:10Speaker 9: a while to even respond, And then I think it
- 30:12Speaker 9: was just Hey, life's moved on, and life has moved on.
- 30:15Speaker 9: But I do still think about it, and I just mean, man,
- 30:18Speaker 9: that's regretable lot of time. But don't get me wrong.
- 30:21Speaker 9: I feel bad for the girl too.
- 30:22Speaker 4: Yeah, I know, I know.
- 30:23Speaker 9: I wouldn't want to say one.
- 30:24Speaker 11: Who was with someone else.
- 30:25Speaker 6: Yeah, it seems like this is what's best for her.
- 30:28Speaker 4: Your ex is he where somebody new or no, I'm
- 30:31Speaker 4: not sure.
- 30:32Speaker 9: Last time we talked and we've both had a child
- 30:34Speaker 9: now with someone else's life really has moved on. I
- 30:38Speaker 9: think it's just something that I know will never happen again.
- 30:40Speaker 4: I don't know, He'll always be in my heart, never
- 30:42Speaker 4: say never. It always had things happen for reasons. Crazier
- 30:45Speaker 4: things have happened.
- 30:46Speaker 3: So I appreciate you calling Megan, and good luck, and
- 30:48Speaker 3: if anything changes, let us know.
- 30:49Speaker 4: Okay, all right, I love y'all.
- 30:51Speaker 2: I love you guys.
- 30:53Speaker 4: Oh, we love you too.
- 30:54Speaker 3: Okay, have a great day, all right, you too, and
- 30:56Speaker 3: we'll get another update tomorrow morning, seven thirty.
- 30:59Speaker 6: Okay, cant in his court.
- 31:00Speaker 4: Here we go, all right, he's done for Candace Court.
- 31:05Speaker 7: It gets settled here with Billy the Kid in the morning.
- 31:08Speaker 3: Oh rise for the Honorable Judge Candace Lopez. She is
- 31:11Speaker 3: here bundled up at about fourteen blankets because it's thirty
- 31:14Speaker 3: below in the studio.
- 31:15Speaker 6: My hands are so cold, my hands.
- 31:17Speaker 4: You can feel your nose? Yeah, no, maybe I can't if.
- 31:20Speaker 3: I can't even feel my toes. It's so cold in
- 31:22Speaker 3: the studio either way. At candasan Air. If you have
- 31:25Speaker 3: an issue on our Instagram, reach out, this is a
- 31:27Speaker 3: good one. So I'm not supposed to even know this,
- 31:30Speaker 3: but my boyfriend has apparently told his best friend are
- 31:33Speaker 3: Valentine's Day plans and not me.
- 31:36Speaker 4: He shouldn't tell you the plans though, No, I don't
- 31:38Speaker 4: think not all of them.
- 31:39Speaker 3: Well, that friend then told his girlfriend, who told me
- 31:43Speaker 3: because she wanted to give me a heads up. The
- 31:46Speaker 3: only thing he told me about our Valentine's Day was
- 31:49Speaker 3: that I should plan for a nice dinner Saturday night
- 31:51Speaker 3: and that I should dress up. But now I know
- 31:55Speaker 3: that we are dressing up to dot dot dot stay home.
- 32:01Speaker 3: What it sounds like he's planning to cook a nice
- 32:05Speaker 3: candlelight dinner at home. And I don't know how to
- 32:08Speaker 3: tell him that I don't want to do this. Oh
- 32:13Speaker 3: is he being sweet?
- 32:14Speaker 4: Probably? But we are dressing up to eat by candlelight
- 32:18Speaker 4: at home. Do I bring this up or do I
- 32:22Speaker 4: just go with it?
- 32:25Speaker 3: This is kind of awkward for me because I thought
- 32:27Speaker 3: we were going out to a nice place. I mean,
- 32:29Speaker 3: I dress up all the time, so dressing up to
- 32:31Speaker 3: sit in the house is a.
- 32:33Speaker 4: Lot of work. Help please?
- 32:35Speaker 3: Oh no, oh, no, okay, Cannice, as a woman who
- 32:42Speaker 3: celebrates Valentine's Day, a married woman in a relationship, how
- 32:45Speaker 3: would you feel if.
- 32:46Speaker 4: This happened to you?
- 32:47Speaker 5: I mean, dressing up is a lot At a certain
- 32:50Speaker 5: point in a woman's life, you're just over it. You
- 32:53Speaker 5: want to be in your sweat plants and things. But
- 32:55Speaker 5: this is Valentine's Day. And I do know that Eric
- 32:58Speaker 5: and I have done something similar to this before. Because
- 33:01Speaker 5: I don't remember if it was his idea, I think
- 33:03Speaker 5: it was my idea. Maybe we just both agreed that
- 33:06Speaker 5: we were just going to stay home. But I decorated
- 33:09Speaker 5: This is our first apartment together, and I decorated it
- 33:11Speaker 5: really nice and had like, you know, homemade heart shape
- 33:15Speaker 5: pizzas we.
- 33:15Speaker 6: Did, and I made a dessert and I made a
- 33:17Speaker 6: menu and then we hu.
- 33:19Speaker 5: I hung like heart lights on the patio and we
- 33:22Speaker 5: ate out on our balcony. It was like, not you know,
- 33:25Speaker 5: it was our first apartments with tiny little balcony, but it.
- 33:27Speaker 6: Was so special.
- 33:29Speaker 4: Yeah, that's sweet.
- 33:32Speaker 5: He had gotten me one of those what's like the
- 33:34Speaker 5: polaroid when polaroid cameras started coming back. Yeah, and so
- 33:38Speaker 5: we have a bunch of pictures polaroids of that Valentine's Day.
- 33:42Speaker 4: How did you guys not know you're going to be
- 33:43Speaker 4: together forever?
- 33:44Speaker 6: Yeah, there's still really special.
- 33:46Speaker 5: So a special, fancy candle light dinner at home can
- 33:49Speaker 5: be really special and worth dressing up for.
- 33:51Speaker 11: That.
- 33:51Speaker 4: That's true. That's true. So to you, you're saying, hey,
- 33:55Speaker 4: you got to go with this, Yes, you do have
- 33:57Speaker 4: to go with it.
- 33:58Speaker 6: It's his plan. Let him follow through or you might
- 34:00Speaker 6: be surprised at how lovely it could be.
- 34:03Speaker 3: I would agree with you on this because I think
- 34:05Speaker 3: that he's He's the effort is what counts, right, And
- 34:09Speaker 3: I know that when you're dressing up and you want
- 34:12Speaker 3: to show off and you want to go out and
- 34:13Speaker 3: hit the town sometimes yeah, but at the end of
- 34:16Speaker 3: the day, it's about you two, yeah, and it should
- 34:19Speaker 3: be about celebrating each other and your love.
- 34:21Speaker 4: So you got to look at it like that and
- 34:24Speaker 4: just soak it in.
- 34:24Speaker 3: And the fact that you have a man that wants
- 34:26Speaker 3: to cook for you at home and go out of
- 34:28Speaker 3: his comfort zone to do something, I think you be celebrated.
- 34:31Speaker 6: Yeah, I agree.
- 34:32Speaker 5: Actually, maybe that Valentine's Day now that you just said
- 34:34Speaker 5: that was actually steaks and Eric cooked steaks.
- 34:36Speaker 6: I can't remember. There's been so.
- 34:38Speaker 4: Many well, wow, this went from I did everything and
- 34:41Speaker 4: ordered the pieces to wed.
- 34:43Speaker 6: I can't remember. It was Valentine either or whatever. Either
- 34:46Speaker 6: way it was separate Valentine's I'm getting confused. But yeah,
- 34:50Speaker 6: it can't be very sweet.
- 34:51Speaker 5: And you probably don't have to wear shoes if you're home,
- 34:53Speaker 5: you don't have to work. It's like you wear heels.
- 34:55Speaker 4: That's true, or well, we could take the other side
- 34:57Speaker 4: of this.
- 34:58Speaker 3: As a man, he could be covering for the fact
- 35:00Speaker 3: fact that he forgot to make reservations.
- 35:02Speaker 6: I didn't want to bring that up.
- 35:05Speaker 4: Because if you waited, here we are.
- 35:08Speaker 5: Yeah, I know, all of a sudden, you're like, but
- 35:10Speaker 5: maybe he'll show you he knows how to make you know,
- 35:13Speaker 5: lemonade out of lemons.
- 35:14Speaker 3: You know what, that's right, and that's very important. Yeah,
- 35:17Speaker 3: you got to see how a guy can pivot and
- 35:19Speaker 3: make things happen exactly. But it doesn't matter what we think.
- 35:22Speaker 3: It doesn't matter what poo thinks, what I think. This
- 35:24Speaker 3: is Cannas court and there's a verdict there is.
- 35:27Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 35:27Speaker 5: Look, girl, you're guilty right now being a casual carry.
- 35:30Speaker 6: Oh, don't listen to whatever the girlfriend of the best
- 35:36Speaker 6: friend is saying.
- 35:37Speaker 4: Just go with it.
- 35:37Speaker 6: He's told you to be excited and dress up.
- 35:40Speaker 5: So yeah, unless he forgot to make plans and he's
- 35:42Speaker 5: winging it, get up, dress up, show up, have fun.
- 35:46Speaker 4: You think she's you sure she's not guilty of being
- 35:48Speaker 4: an ungrateful gretchy.
- 35:51Speaker 6: Swell pant sally.
- 35:55Speaker 4: Okay, the final verdict is in and she is guilty of.
- 35:58Speaker 6: A casual candunta.
- 36:00Speaker 7: Let us know what you think.
- 36:01Speaker 6: Here's today's hot Take.
- 36:02Speaker 3: Your chance one one thousand dollars coming up next. Get ready,
- 36:05Speaker 3: We're about to do that. It's mixed one or two
- 36:06Speaker 3: point nine. Ability Kid Candice Lopez, producer Pooh This Life, Coach,
- 36:11Speaker 3: relationship expert. Her name is Patty Blue Hayes. I've heard
- 36:15Speaker 3: of her before. She's like big on the scene. And
- 36:18Speaker 3: she found out that she had been getting cheated on
- 36:22Speaker 3: for years before she found out, like two years before
- 36:25Speaker 3: she found out. Now she's like, you know, hindsight is
- 36:29Speaker 3: twenty twenty, and she talks about this and how she
- 36:32Speaker 3: was keeping a journal the entire time she was going
- 36:34Speaker 3: through some struggles in a relationship. So what she did
- 36:37Speaker 3: is she went back to that journal and started to
- 36:39Speaker 3: kind of like map it out.
- 36:41Speaker 4: No, I should have known this was one of the signs.
- 36:43Speaker 3: And she came up with six signs that should not
- 36:47Speaker 3: be ignored. According to her, who was cheated on And
- 36:52Speaker 3: if a partner's doing these things, then you have you
- 36:55Speaker 3: have some things.
- 36:56Speaker 4: To worry about. I think I saw somebody cheating the
- 37:00Speaker 4: other day. Really it Target, I know it Target. And
- 37:04Speaker 4: here's why. It's because what couple meets in the back
- 37:07Speaker 4: of the Target parking lot and like gets out and
- 37:10Speaker 4: kisses each other. Do you know what I'm saying.
- 37:15Speaker 3: Like, they were in the back of the parking lot
- 37:17Speaker 3: and they were like two different cars, and I thought
- 37:20Speaker 3: to myself, they're creeping.
- 37:22Speaker 6: Yeah, that doesn't seem normal at all.
- 37:24Speaker 4: It target who has time for that?
- 37:28Speaker 6: I know, right, you know, I'm shopping.
- 37:31Speaker 3: Yeah, And they were so far in the back, and
- 37:33Speaker 3: then I drove by and they kind of looked at me,
- 37:35Speaker 3: and I was like, y'all are creepy. Weird side piece Sunday.
- 37:39Speaker 6: I don't like that.
- 37:39Speaker 3: I don't like it either. Okay, six signs she says
- 37:44Speaker 3: that you should watch out for. And you know, I
- 37:46Speaker 3: love a good list, especially when it comes to cheating.
- 37:49Speaker 3: It's just things you got to watch out for. Number
- 37:51Speaker 3: six was she said he suddenly made his phone a
- 37:55Speaker 3: password protected Yeah, yeah, why.
- 37:59Speaker 4: Do you have that? I just always had Who is she?
- 38:03Speaker 4: I've always like, if you're on.
- 38:05Speaker 5: A plane or something, I get it, you don't want
- 38:06Speaker 5: the person next to you creeping.
- 38:08Speaker 6: But like, in just life in general, what do you
- 38:10Speaker 6: need that far?
- 38:10Speaker 3: I never had a privacy screw And in the last
- 38:13Speaker 3: relationship I was in, I didn't care if she grabbed
- 38:15Speaker 3: my phone and looked at it.
- 38:16Speaker 6: Yeah, no, go for it.
- 38:17Speaker 4: Reach for whose phone right now, and see what happens.
- 38:20Speaker 4: Your hand will get slacked. I don't need to do
- 38:21Speaker 4: that though. See I'm not reaching for your phone. He's
- 38:24Speaker 4: not even in a relationship, and he's like, as soon
- 38:27Speaker 4: as you reach for it, yeah, okay. Number five, she says,
- 38:33Speaker 4: he started to drink more, started to drink more. Okay,
- 38:37Speaker 4: I think that's.
- 38:38Speaker 3: Just a coping thing. Yeah, you know, he's got a
- 38:40Speaker 3: lot of drama. He's got a lot on his mind.
- 38:42Speaker 3: He starts drinking more. She's like, beware, number four, this
- 38:46Speaker 3: is the one that got me. He had new moves
- 38:49Speaker 3: in the bedroom.
- 38:51Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 38:52Speaker 6: What's her name again?
- 38:53Speaker 4: Her name is Patty, Yeah, Patty Blue hayes Y, Yeah, Patty.
- 38:58Speaker 4: So Patty's like, all of a sudden, if you're I
- 39:00Speaker 4: comes home and he's doing something a little new that
- 39:03Speaker 4: you've never expected.
- 39:05Speaker 8: So late.
- 39:06Speaker 4: Yeah, she's jumping off the headboard. W w, honey, you've
- 39:14Speaker 4: never done that before. Okay, next one. I mean I'm
- 39:21Speaker 4: just throwing it out there. He started having angry outburst.
- 39:24Speaker 4: Oh that's true, that's just yeah, what do you mean
- 39:27Speaker 4: that's true?
- 39:28Speaker 8: One of my girlfriends. She would get more, more and
- 39:31Speaker 8: more mad at me for little things. And that's how
- 39:34Speaker 8: I figured out she was cheating really.
- 39:38Speaker 4: Stupid things. She's just over the top.
- 39:40Speaker 7: Man.
- 39:40Speaker 4: The things that you think are stupid are usually pretty valid. Like, oh,
- 39:44Speaker 4: I didn't come home one night, what's the big deal?
- 39:49Speaker 4: So what I got new moves in the bedroom. Number two,
- 39:54Speaker 4: he started going out more, which that's an obvious one
- 39:58Speaker 4: to me.
- 39:58Speaker 6: Yeah, that's a red flag for sure.
- 40:00Speaker 3: And then she said, the number one thing that she
- 40:02Speaker 3: should have known right away is something that almost everybody
- 40:06Speaker 3: that I have ever known to get cheated on says.
- 40:09Speaker 3: He started putting a lot more effort into his appearance.
- 40:13Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that was number one. Number one.
- 40:17Speaker 4: He started working out more, he started.
- 40:20Speaker 3: Caring about his cologne, he started trying to lose weight, shaving,
- 40:24Speaker 3: you know, new clothes.
- 40:26Speaker 4: All of a sudden, he's got some new outfits on
- 40:28Speaker 4: cheen that he's ordered.
- 40:29Speaker 6: Smelling different, smelling different, Like, what is going on?
- 40:33Speaker 4: He's like, I don't know, I just wanted to, you know,
- 40:34Speaker 4: kind of think.
- 40:35Speaker 3: She says, I look back in those six things, do
- 40:37Speaker 3: you agree you think those are the things that, like
- 40:40Speaker 3: you should matter?
- 40:41Speaker 6: Yeah, I can agree with that. Yeah, think you just go.
- 40:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know if I agree with the phone
- 40:47Speaker 3: password one that much. I think are people weird about
- 40:50Speaker 3: their phone? Maybe it's I don't think if you have
- 40:53Speaker 3: a password, you're cheating.
- 40:54Speaker 6: No, I mean I have a password. Yeah, you're everyone
- 40:57Speaker 6: has a password.
- 40:58Speaker 4: I thought you're not shady at all.
- 41:01Speaker 3: No, but I do think that if behavior changes quickly,
- 41:05Speaker 3: then you've got to be aware. And then if you
- 41:07Speaker 3: go into his phone and you see that he's deleting stuff.
- 41:11Speaker 4: Yeah, oh yeah, what are you always saying, Billy, If
- 41:14Speaker 4: you're deleting, your cheating? Okay, right, Cannis. Yeah, if you're
- 41:19Speaker 4: deleting messages.
- 41:20Speaker 3: You're cheating. You know, I like my clean inbox? No, yeah, yeah, buddy,
- 41:27Speaker 3: I know. We were just talking about cheating for how
- 41:29Speaker 3: Take of the Day. And I don't like talking about
- 41:30Speaker 3: it this close to Valentine's Day because I know.
- 41:32Speaker 4: It's all about love, and I love love, and we
- 41:34Speaker 4: all love love.
- 41:35Speaker 7: We do.
- 41:36Speaker 3: But I got to tell you what just happened in
- 41:38Speaker 3: my DMS, because well, now I'm getting blown up about
- 41:42Speaker 3: stories about oh yeah, well you're talking about cheating. This
- 41:44Speaker 3: how I found out my man was cheating, or this
- 41:45Speaker 3: how I found out my girlfriend was cheating? And the
- 41:47Speaker 3: stories are insane. Canice and you've been cheated on?
- 41:50Speaker 2: I have?
- 41:51Speaker 6: Yeah, it was awful, absolutely awful.
- 41:53Speaker 4: It's awful.
- 41:53Speaker 3: So I will say this to the people who are
- 41:55Speaker 3: single right now. And you know, it's frustrating sometimes when
- 41:58Speaker 3: you're single around this holiday because you.
- 42:01Speaker 4: Know it's just it can be.
- 42:02Speaker 3: So you you are living your best life if you
- 42:06Speaker 3: are single and not getting cheated on like some of
- 42:10Speaker 3: these stories I'm hearing. So there is nothing wrong with
- 42:13Speaker 3: being single. Celebrate being single because it's so much better
- 42:16Speaker 3: to being trapped in some crappy relationship that sucks where
- 42:20Speaker 3: you're getting lied to.
- 42:22Speaker 4: Listen to this.
- 42:23Speaker 3: This woman dm me and I'm not going to say
- 42:25Speaker 3: her name because I don't want to do that, but
- 42:27Speaker 3: she said that she was in the hospital right for
- 42:30Speaker 3: a few days. When she got home, the neighbor kid
- 42:34Speaker 3: asked her if she got a new car. Did you
- 42:36Speaker 3: guys get a new car. She's like, oh no, why
- 42:40Speaker 3: would you think that? And he's like, oh, well, there's
- 42:42Speaker 3: been one parked in front of your house for the
- 42:44Speaker 3: last three days. Finds out that it was husband's girlfriend.
- 42:51Speaker 6: No, while she was in the hospital.
- 42:53Speaker 3: While she was how much lower could you get but
- 42:56Speaker 3: if you're a cheater, you're obviously just not a good person.
- 43:00Speaker 11: That sucks.
- 43:00Speaker 4: But there's degrees to this.
- 43:03Speaker 3: How bad of a person are you that you could
- 43:05Speaker 3: cheat on someone while they're in the hospital. You are
