- 3:46Speaker 2: We're going to begin like we always do, giving thanks
- 3:50Speaker 2: to the Most High, because His Word says in all
- 3:53Speaker 2: things that we do, we must give Him thanks. So,
- 3:57Speaker 2: dear Heavenly Father, we thank you on tonight. We thank
- 4:01Speaker 2: you for the visionary of this platform, God. Continue to
- 4:05Speaker 2: bless her, God. Continue to guide her, God, in the
- 4:09Speaker 2: name of Jesus. Remember all the members of the crew, God.
- 4:14Speaker 2: You know the things that they have need of, God.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Heal their bodies, their spirits, and their souls in Jesus' name.
- 4:20Speaker 2: And now we commend this episode to you, God. May
- 4:25Speaker 2: you send it into the hands of people that need
- 4:28Speaker 2: to be encouraged, motivated, and inspired. We give it all
- 4:32Speaker 2: to you on tonight, and anything that comes to hamper
- 4:36Speaker 2: this episode, God, we send it back to the pits
- 4:39Speaker 2: of hell from which it came. In Jesus' name we
- 4:42Speaker 2: do pray.
- 4:43Speaker 4: Amen.
- 4:44Speaker 2: And our quote of the week is from my favorite president,
- 4:52Speaker 2: Barack Obama. And he, Barack, says, Change will not come
- 4:59Speaker 2: if we wait for some other person or some other time.
- 5:03Speaker 2: We are the ones we've been waiting on. We are
- 5:08Speaker 2: the change that we seek. Barack Obama. And once again,
- 5:15Speaker 2: welcome to tonight's podcast. Whether you are listening at home,
- 5:20Speaker 2: in the car, or in a hospital room, or in
- 5:24Speaker 2: the middle of a difficult season, I believe this message
- 5:29Speaker 2: is for you. And our topic today is From the
- 5:34Speaker 2: Waiting Room to the Recovery Room. Many of us know
- 5:40Speaker 2: what it means to wait for healing answers, financial stability,
- 5:46Speaker 2: restored relationships, new opportunities, clarity about the future. We may ask,
- 5:54Speaker 2: How long do I have to wait? The waiting room
- 5:58Speaker 2: is uncomfortable, but it does not have to be permanent.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Your current situation is not necessarily your final destination. It's
- 6:11Speaker 2: up to you. There's still room for healing, growth, restoration,
- 6:18Speaker 2: and hope. So take a deep breath. Breathe in and
- 6:24Speaker 2: breathe out. Settle in and let's explore how God can
- 6:30Speaker 2: lead us from waiting into recovery. What is the waiting room?
- 6:37Speaker 2: A waiting room is a place where you sit without
- 6:42Speaker 2: knowing exactly when your name would be called. Have you
- 6:46Speaker 2: ever went to the hospital and it seems like they're
- 6:50Speaker 2: calling everybody around you And by looks, it doesn't seem
- 6:54Speaker 2: that they're going through a dire emergency and you're wondering,
- 6:58Speaker 2: why are they calling everybody but me? You watch others
- 7:03Speaker 2: come and go. You check the clock and wonder how
- 7:07Speaker 2: much longer you must remain here. Life can feel the
- 7:12Speaker 2: same way. You may see others receiving opportunities, relationships, healing,
- 7:21Speaker 2: or success that you prayed for and quietly asked God,
- 7:27Speaker 2: when will it be my turn? But waiting does not
- 7:32Speaker 2: mean nothing is happening. Seeds grow beneath the soil before
- 7:39Speaker 2: they appear above ground. God may be developing strength, patience, wisdom,
- 7:47Speaker 2: and faith in you before you anyone can see the results.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Sometimes you have to plant water and the waiting room
- 8:06Speaker 2: can become a place of preparation, a place where you
- 8:10Speaker 2: discover more about yourself and more about God. Waiting is
- 8:18Speaker 2: especially hard When life has not gone according to plan,
- 8:23Speaker 2: a loss, a diagnosis, a divorce, financial setbacks, death, or
- 8:33Speaker 2: cancer can place us in a season we never experience.
- 8:39Speaker 2: We may feel powerless. But we still begin with a
- 9:00Speaker 2: simple decision. I am not giving up. You may not
- 9:05Speaker 2: be able to change everything today, but you can choose
- 9:11Speaker 2: your next. You have a choice. You can either become
- 9:22Speaker 2: bitter or you can become better. The choice is up
- 9:26Speaker 2: to you. Joseph, when the waiting room doesn't make sense.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Joseph had a dream from God, but his path included betrayal, slavery, lies, accusations,
- 9:46Speaker 2: and prison. His circumstances look nothing like the dream. His
- 9:54Speaker 2: story reminds us that the journey between The promise. and
- 10:00Speaker 2: its fulfillment may include a waiting room don't prison were
- 10:09Speaker 2: not the end genesis 50 and 20 teaches that others
- 10:15Speaker 2: attended it for his harm But how many people know
- 10:20Speaker 2: that when somebody sets you up to fail, God can
- 10:24Speaker 2: use it for your good? Joseph could not see the
- 10:28Speaker 2: full purpose while he was suffering, but God was still working.
- 10:34Speaker 2: You may not understand your process either. You can feel
- 10:39Speaker 2: trust that confusion does not mean abandonment and delay does
- 10:46Speaker 2: not mean failure. the story is over. You are not forgotten. Oh,
- 10:53Speaker 2: sometimes waiting can make us forgotten by God, others, or
- 10:59Speaker 2: even by life itself. You may fear our dreams are
- 11:05Speaker 2: over and our best days are behind us. But waiting
- 11:11Speaker 2: is not the same as being forgotten. Isaiah 42 And
- 11:16Speaker 2: 31 says, ah, but they that wait upon the Lord shall,
- 11:23Speaker 2: not maybe, but shall renew their strength. Biblical waiting is
- 11:31Speaker 2: not passive hopelessness or a season of renewal. You may
- 11:38Speaker 2: enter your waiting room exhausted and leave stronger. You might
- 11:45Speaker 2: leave discouraged and leave with fresh hope. Enter broken and
- 11:53Speaker 2: begin the journey towards healing. Beloved, your name has not
- 12:01Speaker 2: been overlooked. Your life still matters and your future is
- 12:08Speaker 2: still in God's hand. What is the recovery room? Recovery
- 12:18Speaker 2: is really instant. After a procedure, the body needs time, care,
- 12:25Speaker 2: and monitoring. Emotional and spiritual healing often requires the same patient.
- 12:34Speaker 2: We may wish to wake up without grief, disappointment, or pain,
- 12:39Speaker 2: but healing can usually unfolds gradually. You do not have
- 12:46Speaker 2: to be completely healed to be making progress. Progress may
- 12:52Speaker 2: look like getting out of bed, praying again, making a
- 12:58Speaker 2: difficult phone call, asking for help, or choosing just to
- 13:05Speaker 2: face another day. Do not dismiss small things beginnings. Do
- 13:12Speaker 2: not dismiss small victories. A small step is still movement,
- 13:20Speaker 2: and movement is evident that recovery has begun. Martin Luther
- 13:29Speaker 2: King says, Run, and if you can't run, walk. And
- 13:36Speaker 2: if you can't walk, crawl. But just keep moving forward. Ah,
- 13:43Speaker 2: the woman with the issue of blood. Mark Fibes tells
- 13:47Speaker 2: of a woman who had suffered for 12 years. She
- 13:52Speaker 2: had spent all her resources seeking help and endured repeated disappointment.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Can you imagine for 12 long years that you're going
- 14:05Speaker 2: to doctor after doctor, you're spending all your money You're ostracized.
- 14:10Speaker 2: You can't see your family. You can't even go to
- 14:13Speaker 2: the sanctuary. Hallelujah. How disappointed she must have felt. But
- 14:20Speaker 2: I just imagine one day she's sitting near the window
- 14:23Speaker 2: because she's not allowed to go out and she's hearing
- 14:27Speaker 2: all the commotion about this man that has healing. And
- 14:33Speaker 2: she heard that Jesus was near. And She didn't worry
- 14:39Speaker 2: about legalism, what people was going to say. She pressed
- 14:44Speaker 2: to the crowd, believing that just touching his garment would
- 14:49Speaker 2: bring complete healing. Her faith did not deny the length
- 14:55Speaker 2: of her suffering. It refused to let suffering have the
- 15:00Speaker 2: final word. Her example encouraged us to keep moving even
- 15:05Speaker 2: when progress is slow. You may need to receive treatment
- 15:11Speaker 2: or ask for help, but rest is not the same
- 15:15Speaker 2: as quitting. Keep moving towards Jesus, towards healing, and towards
- 15:21Speaker 2: the life that God still has for you. Jeremiah 29
- 15:26Speaker 2: and 11 says that God has a plan for us
- 15:29Speaker 2: and to do us good, not evil. Do not compare
- 15:33Speaker 2: your recovery. Comparison can distort our view of both ourselves
- 15:40Speaker 2: and others. We see someone smiling and assume they never hurt.
- 15:47Speaker 2: We see people's glory, but we don't know their story.
- 15:52Speaker 2: We see success and assume the journey was easy. We
- 15:57Speaker 2: see healing and forget the years of recovery that might
- 16:02Speaker 2: have come before it. Every person has a different story
- 16:07Speaker 2: and a different process. Healing is not a competition and
- 16:12Speaker 2: recovery is not a race. Your pace does not determine
- 16:17Speaker 2: your purpose. Take the time you need. Honor your progress
- 16:23Speaker 2: and allow your journey to unfold without measuring it against
- 16:29Speaker 2: someone else's. The man at the pool of Bethesda In
- 16:35Speaker 2: John 5, Jesus encounters a man who has been waiting
- 16:40Speaker 2: for 38 years. Imagine, we couldn't even imagine the 12 years,
- 16:46Speaker 2: but imagine 38 years. And Jesus asked him, Will thou
- 16:52Speaker 2: be made whole? And the man says, I have no one, hallelujah,
- 16:58Speaker 2: to put me in the pool when the pool is stirring.
- 17:02Speaker 2: And Jesus asked him, Not why he wasn't healed, why
- 17:07Speaker 2: it was impossible, but he asked them, do you want
- 17:12Speaker 2: to be healed? Jesus then said, rise up. Take up
- 17:19Speaker 2: thy bed and walk. This moment shows that a long
- 17:24Speaker 2: season does not have to be a permanent identity. We
- 17:30Speaker 2: can become so familiar with pain that I struggled to
- 17:34Speaker 2: imagine life beyond it. We might define ourselves by what happened,
- 17:40Speaker 2: the betrayal, the illness, the loss, or the failure. But
- 17:47Speaker 2: I came by tonight to tell you you are more
- 17:51Speaker 2: than what happened to you. Your experience is part of
- 17:55Speaker 2: your story, not the title of your entire life. With
- 18:01Speaker 2: God's help, you can rise not by denying the past,
- 18:07Speaker 2: but by refusing to remain trapped in it. If you're
- 18:11Speaker 2: going on a trip and you have planned to go
- 18:17Speaker 2: one way, but you make a wrong turn, you don't
- 18:19Speaker 2: pull over to the side of the road and say,
- 18:22Speaker 2: I'm not going in. But we have this thing called
- 18:25Speaker 2: the GPS system now that you put your destination in
- 18:29Speaker 2: and it says, rerouting, rerouting, rerouting. Well, that's what God says,
- 18:34Speaker 2: that when we make a mistake, we make a wrong turn,
- 18:37Speaker 2: or we make a detour, God says, rerouting, rerouting, and
- 18:42Speaker 2: we reach our destination, not by the way that we
- 18:47Speaker 2: plan to go, but we still get there. A wound
- 18:52Speaker 2: is still open. A scar shows that healing has taken place.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Our scars may remind of the pain, but they also
- 19:02Speaker 2: testify that the pain did not destroy us. Jesus' scars
- 19:09Speaker 2: after the resurrection represent victory, not defeat. In the same way,
- 19:16Speaker 2: your scars can become part of your testimony. What you
- 19:22Speaker 2: survive may encourage someone else who feels alone. Your experience
- 19:28Speaker 2: may give another person courage to continue. You may not
- 19:33Speaker 2: understand every reason why you are suffering, but your story
- 19:39Speaker 2: can still become a source of hope. Ah, that's why
- 19:45Speaker 2: I do these podcasts. That's why I show up. Because
- 19:49Speaker 2: I want people to... are going through life's storms to
- 19:52Speaker 2: realize that you can go through so many storms, but
- 19:57Speaker 2: the water won't overtake you. You can go through the
- 20:00Speaker 2: fire and you won't even smell like smoke. And you
- 20:03Speaker 2: won't look like what you've been through. Glory be to God.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Your pain can become your purpose. Romans 8 and 28
- 20:13Speaker 2: reminds us that through God works all things together for
- 20:20Speaker 2: the good of those who love him and are called
- 20:24Speaker 2: according to his purpose. This does not mean everything that
- 20:28Speaker 2: happens is good. Some experiences are painful. They are unjust
- 20:34Speaker 2: and heartbreaking. It means that God can bring purpose from
- 20:40Speaker 2: what was meant to harm us. Ah, Joseph's betrayal became
- 20:45Speaker 2: part of his testimony. Hannah's tears, Peter's failure, Paul's suffering
- 20:53Speaker 2: were all not wasted. God used their experience to shape
- 20:58Speaker 2: their life and influence others. Your pain may have developed compassion, wisdom, endurance,
- 21:09Speaker 2: or deeper dependence on God. Your recovery may eventually become
- 21:15Speaker 2: the message that helps someone else survive. What do you
- 21:20Speaker 2: do while you're recovering? Here are five practical ways to
- 21:26Speaker 2: move through recovery. Number one, give yourself grace. You are human.
- 21:34Speaker 2: You do not have to be strong every day or
- 21:38Speaker 2: have every answer. Difficult moments do not mean you are failing.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Number two, keep your faith. Faith does not require that
- 21:51Speaker 2: everything makes sense. It means holding on to hope and
- 21:56Speaker 2: trusting God even when the path is unclear. Like Job said,
- 22:03Speaker 2: Though you slay me, yet will I trust you. Number three,
- 22:08Speaker 2: ask for help. You do not have to recover alone.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Talk with trusted people, seek wise counsel, and accept appropriate
- 22:19Speaker 2: professional or spiritual support. Number four, celebrate your small victories.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Getting through the day, take it one step at a time,
- 22:31Speaker 2: praying again, or just choosing not to quit are meaningful victories.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Notice them. Number five, believe in your future. Your past
- 22:44Speaker 2: may have changed you, but it does not have to
- 22:48Speaker 2: destroy your future. There is still purpose ahead. Don't die
- 22:55Speaker 2: in the waiting room. Do not allow disappointment to convince
- 23:00Speaker 2: you that nothing will change. Do not let grief tell
- 23:04Speaker 2: you that joy will never return. The word of God
- 23:09Speaker 2: says that weeping only endures for the night, but joy
- 23:14Speaker 2: is going to come in the morning. Do not let
- 23:20Speaker 2: failure persuade you that success is impossible. One chapter in
- 23:26Speaker 2: your life is not the entire book. Your story is
- 23:31Speaker 2: still being written. They are people to meet, opportunities to embrace,
- 23:38Speaker 2: lives to influence, and dreams to pursue. Your greatest chapter
- 23:45Speaker 2: may still be ahead. From the waiting room to the
- 23:49Speaker 2: recovery room, imagine standing at the doorway of your new season.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Behind you are the tears, the questions, the sleepless nights, disappointments,
- 24:03Speaker 2: and prayers. Ahead of you is the recovery room, a
- 24:08Speaker 2: place representing healing, growth, restoration, and another chance. You may
- 24:15Speaker 2: not be completely healed today, but you can begin today.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Take one step. Make one decision. Say, I am going
- 24:28Speaker 2: to keep going. I may be tired. but I will
- 24:34Speaker 2: keep going. I may be hurting, but I will keep going.
- 24:39Speaker 2: I may not understand, but I will keep going. I
- 24:44Speaker 2: may need time, but I will keep going. Recovery is possible.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Hope is possible. Healing is possible. Your story is not over.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Say these words. I am not forgotten. I am not abandoned.
- 25:06Speaker 2: I am not defeated. My waiting is not wasted. My
- 25:11Speaker 2: pain does not define me. My past does not control
- 25:17Speaker 2: my future. I am healing, I am growing, and I
- 25:22Speaker 2: am recovering. I am becoming stronger. I will not give up.
- 25:29Speaker 2: I will keep moving forward. My story is not over.
- 25:34Speaker 2: I'm moving from the waiting room to the recovering room. Father,
- 25:45Speaker 2: in the name of Jesus, I thank you for every
- 25:50Speaker 2: person listening today. You know their waiting rooms, their pain,
- 25:56Speaker 2: their questions, and their fears. Give them strength when they
- 26:01Speaker 2: feel weak, hope when they feel discouraged, peace when they
- 26:06Speaker 2: feel overwhelmed, and courage when they feel afraid. Remind them
- 26:12Speaker 2: that they are not forgotten and that their story is
- 26:15Speaker 2: not over. Help them take one step at a time.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Heal what is broken. Restore their hope and renew their strength.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Guide them from waiting until recovery. Use their scars as
- 26:31Speaker 2: testimonies and their experiences to encourage others. We believe that
- 26:37Speaker 2: healing is possible, hope is alive, and better days will come.
- 26:43Speaker 2: And if you don't know Jesus and are part of
- 26:45Speaker 2: your sins, I invite you to get to know the healer.
- 26:50Speaker 2: I invite you to get to know the provider. In
- 26:53Speaker 2: the name of Jesus, all you have to do is
- 26:55Speaker 2: repent from your sins, Be godly sorry and turn away
- 26:59Speaker 2: from them and believe that Jesus is the son of
- 27:03Speaker 2: God who died on the cross for our sins and
- 27:07Speaker 2: you are saved. Find yourself a Bible-believing church and learn
- 27:12Speaker 2: the word of God so that you might see God's
- 27:15Speaker 2: promises manifested in your life. And if you know God
- 27:20Speaker 2: and you're going through a season of waiting on God,
- 27:23Speaker 2: you're waiting on prayers to be answered, don't give up,
- 27:26Speaker 2: my brother. Don't give up, my sister. Keep going. Keep
- 27:33Speaker 2: walking forward. In the name of Jesus. God, remember the
- 27:38Speaker 2: dreams and aspirations of the visionary of this platform. Let
- 27:44Speaker 2: her visions come to manifestation. In the name of Jesus.
- 27:49Speaker 2: Remember every member of the crew, podcast, and their families, God.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Let them heal, God. In the name of Jesus. Let
- 27:57Speaker 2: them grow, God. Oh, God, expand their territory, God. In
- 28:03Speaker 2: the name of Jesus, God. Keep them from all evil harm, God.
- 28:08Speaker 2: In the name of Jesus. Now as our children go
- 28:11Speaker 2: back to school, God, put a hedge of protection all
- 28:14Speaker 2: around them. Don't let them come to any harm, danger, misuse, abuse.
- 28:20Speaker 2: In the name of Jesus. Protect them on the buses,
- 28:24Speaker 2: on the highways and byways. In Jesus' name. We do pray.
- 28:31Speaker 2: Thank you for joining me from the waiting room to
- 28:36Speaker 2: the recovery room. Remember, you may be waiting, but you
- 28:41Speaker 2: are not forgotten. You may be recovering, but you are
- 28:45Speaker 2: still moving forward. No matter what you've been through, your
- 28:50Speaker 2: story is not over. So until next time, in two weeks, remember,
- 28:56Speaker 2: keep believing Keep hoping, keep healing, and keep moving forward.
- 29:03Speaker 2: And amen, if anything with this episode has resonated in
- 29:08Speaker 2: your spirit, share it with somebody that needs it on tonight.
- 29:14Speaker 2: And join me every two weeks, amen, as God imparts
- 29:22Speaker 2: in me and allows me to impart in you. Have
- 29:26Speaker 2: a good night. God bless, and I will see you
- 29:30Speaker 2: in two weeks.
