- 0:01Speaker 1: Off the bench with Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Say Hester and Hester.
- 0:07Speaker 1: At from carrying each other to and Natty to carrying
- 0:11Speaker 1: each other.
- 0:11Speaker 3: On the air, there's propped control.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Live from the Raising Kine studio. It's off the bench,
- 0:55Speaker 1: so can't say.
- 1:09Speaker 4: How's it going over there? Any cards just started any
- 1:13Speaker 4: shows yet?
- 1:16Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm into baseball.
- 1:17Speaker 4: You're in Star Wars. There's a big Star Wars release
- 1:22Speaker 4: that's not Galaxy. That's the one I collect, it's the
- 1:25Speaker 4: new one released. It has been a big couple of
- 1:26Speaker 4: weeks for Oh no, it's been tough, tough couple of
- 1:30Speaker 4: weeks for the bank account.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Oh no, have you have you done any good work
- 1:35Speaker 2: because you haven't sent any cards my way? Like, Hey,
- 1:37Speaker 2: I'm banned from talking to this guy. Can you get
- 1:40Speaker 2: this for me lately? Is that because I was on
- 1:42Speaker 2: the road or you just.
- 1:43Speaker 4: Like you didn't respond?
- 1:45Speaker 5: Oh did you?
- 1:46Speaker 4: Yeah? I was like, can you get this card for me?
- 1:48Speaker 4: This is another guy that's banned me. It's it's still
- 1:52Speaker 4: three still three people blocked me.
- 1:55Speaker 3: So do they just have the best stuff, because like,
- 1:57Speaker 3: if they banned you just find other dudes.
- 2:00Speaker 6: You know how irritating you have to be to get
- 2:02Speaker 6: blocked on eBay.
- 2:03Speaker 4: That the thing is somebody to want your money, you
- 2:07Speaker 4: got to be pretty your really, and I'm very self
- 2:11Speaker 4: aware obviously should prove that every day. I wasn't that annoying. Basically,
- 2:18Speaker 4: we just had a different opinion on the value of
- 2:20Speaker 4: that card, and he gave his reasons and I gave mine,
- 2:26Speaker 4: and he didn't agree with it. And then you know,
- 2:29Speaker 4: you send a low ball offer a couple of times
- 2:30Speaker 4: he thinks it's a low ball. That's a real offer
- 2:32Speaker 4: per the market just had. He had an outrageous theory
- 2:36Speaker 4: about what his cards.
- 2:37Speaker 3: It's got to be low low, Like that'd be like
- 2:38Speaker 3: me coming in and letting all three of y'all bid
- 2:41Speaker 3: on an item, and you bid like, actually, I don't
- 2:43Speaker 3: want you.
- 2:44Speaker 4: To collecting a certain set in a certain parallel of
- 2:47Speaker 4: these cards. And he had a lot of them, and
- 2:50Speaker 4: so of course I'm buying a lot from him, so
- 2:52Speaker 4: I expect to buy in bulk you get a better discount.
- 2:54Speaker 4: So I sent him a half off offer on every
- 3:00Speaker 4: single one of his cards, pretty much. Some some we negotiated.
- 3:04Speaker 4: Then I think at some point he got tired of
- 3:06Speaker 4: tired of me. Mm hmm. Good old except that last.
- 3:16Speaker 3: One is anybody found out y'all are working together.
- 3:19Speaker 4: I mean it's gotta be. You have to have the same
- 3:23Speaker 4: cards both in Baton rouge.
- 3:27Speaker 5: Yeah, I just say it nicely.
- 3:31Speaker 3: Though, you'll send them to guar. He's like, I'm sending
- 3:33Speaker 3: this to the same building.
- 3:35Speaker 5: That's my home.
- 3:38Speaker 4: Used to not.
- 3:40Speaker 5: I used to send him here.
- 3:42Speaker 4: Yeah, right at the beginning, because you know, you're still
- 3:44Speaker 4: we're still purple purple shocks. We are still getting our
- 3:48Speaker 4: wives used to the fact that package sports cards people, well,
- 3:53Speaker 4: life's used to just you know, three four five packages
- 3:56Speaker 4: every day, the Star Wars card.
- 4:01Speaker 6: Sorry, so y'all can't complain when they have packages?
- 4:04Speaker 4: No, I never, no, I never never have good We've
- 4:08Speaker 4: got a lot of boxes now, so I'm back. I
- 4:10Speaker 4: can't burn.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Them like me and Victoria's package is way different, like
- 4:14Speaker 3: she gets a lot of them. But it's like like, well,
- 4:16Speaker 3: order baby stuff or you know anything. And I'm sitting
- 4:19Speaker 3: there yesterday like waiting for your phone case to come in.
- 4:23Speaker 3: Only thing I ordered and I bet.
- 4:25Speaker 5: It was Neon.
- 4:26Speaker 6: Do you worry tomorrow?
- 4:27Speaker 4: No?
- 4:27Speaker 3: But the current one, the current one is Neon. This
- 4:31Speaker 3: is my old one.
- 4:32Speaker 6: Nobody loves Neon, Like t No, I got.
- 4:34Speaker 3: A Halloween theme phone case yesterday. Keep up with the
- 4:37Speaker 3: September first, we're breaking that bad Boy out.
- 4:40Speaker 6: Okay, twenty twelve, twenty fourteen was probably peak Taylor. I
- 4:43Speaker 6: feel like that's when Neon was popping off. Neon had
- 4:46Speaker 6: a moment.
- 4:46Speaker 3: We would we would change our shoelaces in school, so
- 4:49Speaker 3: like you know, from the black to the to the Neon.
- 4:51Speaker 4: I will say, Neon, pink is having it's it's having
- 4:54Speaker 4: it's time to shine right.
- 4:55Speaker 6: Now, you think so?
- 4:56Speaker 3: Yeah, Baseball baseball is the boys do.
- 5:00Speaker 4: Like I love a hot pink, light blue.
- 5:04Speaker 6: And the ice cream or something. I think I see
- 5:05Speaker 6: ads they have like the ice cream on it or yeah.
- 5:08Speaker 4: They're like I don't know if I like that shirt,
- 5:09Speaker 4: but if they put sprinkles on that shirt.
- 5:12Speaker 3: I like it.
- 5:14Speaker 4: I love a sprinkle. What is it about that? I
- 5:19Speaker 4: don't know. I'm assuming some idiot YouTuber did.
- 5:23Speaker 3: It in the chat. Me and Victoria's packages are way different.
- 5:30Speaker 4: I sure as whole hope.
- 5:31Speaker 2: So I was going to make something very similar and
- 5:34Speaker 2: I just let it ride. I am maturing we had
- 5:40Speaker 2: a child there, mature over here because of the privates,
- 5:46Speaker 2: it's all right, on that note coming out, before I
- 5:53Speaker 2: get to the NFC South News, I'm gonna tell you
- 5:56Speaker 2: about our friends over at Rouse's.
- 5:57Speaker 5: That way, I.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Can't say anything inappropriate. Go to rauses dot com today.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Find the location that's convenient for you. They're all across
- 6:05Speaker 2: the Gulf coast here. You're gonna find that location and
- 6:09Speaker 2: you're gonna see the weekly specials for your store, and
- 6:12Speaker 2: every store is gonna be a little bit different. You're
- 6:13Speaker 2: also gonna find that every store is convenient though. Lunch bar,
- 6:18Speaker 2: sushi bar, salad bar, pre made meals, breakfast bar right now.

- 6:27Speaker 2: Guess where you can find.
- 6:28Speaker 4: Us at.
- 6:32Speaker 6: Sushi Matt's best friend.
- 6:34Speaker 5: She does love watching.
- 6:35Speaker 4: I gotta figure, I gotta get his name this year.
- 6:38Speaker 2: You should have him on instead of just like pumping,
- 6:40Speaker 2: we should have him on sushi.
- 6:43Speaker 6: Say, y'all should have him make all sushi. M y'all
- 6:48Speaker 6: should have him make y'all sushi.
- 6:50Speaker 4: Oh, that would be like a breakfast breakfast.
- 6:52Speaker 6: Breakfast sushi cool.
- 6:54Speaker 2: We got to have that bacon and eggs. And if
- 6:57Speaker 2: they don't, they need to.
- 6:58Speaker 4: Have breakfast pizza. They got sushi. They did usually bring
- 7:01Speaker 4: us like Kalipenio poppers at seven to fifteen, Aye, like
- 7:04Speaker 4: you can forget to wings and calipon pop.
- 7:08Speaker 7: You know what's really good? They're they're chicken tenders. Yeah,
- 7:11Speaker 7: the tendis are fire like because I used to before Cassie,
- 7:14Speaker 7: I used to do game day at Rous's. So I
- 7:17Speaker 7: would hang out with Charlie and Hanny and they would
- 7:19Speaker 7: bring us chicken tendy's. Charlie and Hanny are Charlie and Musso,
- 7:25Speaker 7: and they would bring us twice chicken tendies and then
- 7:29Speaker 7: they would bring us the Budan egg rolls are really good.
- 7:34Speaker 4: Party tray. That's what we did.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Get him in the party tray and then the chicken tenders.
- 7:38Speaker 3: I'm like you, I'll go pick that up on game day.
- 7:40Speaker 4: What he made?
- 7:41Speaker 5: Shut out Rouses. I got a text, what are you saying?
- 7:47Speaker 7: The kids like the ice cream because it shows that
- 7:49Speaker 7: it's melting and it's a play on the word drip.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Oh we all got on that way and didn't think
- 7:59Speaker 3: of that one me.
- 8:00Speaker 6: I would have never guess what sprinkles. I just thought,
- 8:03Speaker 6: now I need a sprinkle shirt.
- 8:05Speaker 3: I just thought they liked the ice cream.
- 8:06Speaker 6: We did get on a bias all those shirts what.
- 8:11Speaker 3: I don't even know what with with the ice cream.
- 8:16Speaker 4: Cam Ward celebration with an ice cream shirt.
- 8:18Speaker 5: On I hate Oh.
- 8:20Speaker 7: We would never call you onk again. We would forget
- 8:22Speaker 7: the accidental FaceTime.
- 8:23Speaker 6: Call by the way.
- 8:28Speaker 7: That made it worse, the fact that you FaceTime the
- 8:30Speaker 7: group that made it worse, but to make you feel better,
- 8:33Speaker 7: and because we made fun of you, I feel like
- 8:36Speaker 7: I'd even Hunt, but facetimed me two days in a row.
- 8:46Speaker 6: So he's on too, a loser?
- 8:48Speaker 4: Who does that?
- 8:49Speaker 6: Who does that?
- 8:52Speaker 3: His old school?
- 8:52Speaker 4: He's got a.
- 8:55Speaker 5: Tried, he gets forty.
- 8:56Speaker 6: He tried to say it was Keller yesterday. I'm like, no,
- 8:58Speaker 6: it wasn't.
- 8:59Speaker 4: What about David four Hunt.
- 9:02Speaker 3: He's got his whiteboard with like like players. He's gonna
- 9:05Speaker 3: mention before the season comes in with the legal pad old.
- 9:09Speaker 4: School with it.
- 9:09Speaker 7: Somebody said I got a text, oh from Caleb Williams.
- 9:13Speaker 6: That's crazy.
- 9:14Speaker 7: They said sock Yeah, they said sock stacking is coming back.
- 9:18Speaker 6: Also, what is sock stack?
- 9:20Speaker 7: Oh?
- 9:21Speaker 5: It really?
- 9:21Speaker 4: My guess is like, let let me cook here quick.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Okay, hold on this now, this is Ridgewood Middle School. Buddy,
- 9:32Speaker 2: you would get like three pairs of Nike socks no yes, no, no,
- 9:37Speaker 2: and you'd put one high, one mid in one ankle
- 9:41Speaker 2: and you'd scrunch them all up and it would be
- 9:42Speaker 2: three pairs of Nike socks.
- 9:45Speaker 3: Boom boom boom, all different colors. Right, that's kind of
- 9:48Speaker 3: what I was thinking.
- 9:49Speaker 5: Didn't of them.
- 9:50Speaker 2: We didn't do different colors because Joey Hester wouldn't have
- 9:53Speaker 2: any of that.
- 9:54Speaker 5: I just did like either white or black. But that's
- 9:57Speaker 5: what So.
- 9:58Speaker 4: You were a triple layered on the feet and the toes,
- 10:00Speaker 4: socks stacking wise, I'd do it because like.
- 10:03Speaker 3: You'd have to go up a shoe song.
- 10:04Speaker 2: I already wear a size twelves, like as a as
- 10:06Speaker 2: a young fella, and it was hard enough to find shoes.
- 10:09Speaker 4: You weren't gonna find a thirteen. So but yeah, that's
- 10:12Speaker 4: what it is. That's that sounds terrible, That's what it was.
- 10:15Speaker 4: My feet are sweating right now, just one sweating thinking
- 10:19Speaker 4: about it. Mm hmm.
- 10:20Speaker 6: I don't even have socks on.
- 10:21Speaker 4: I don't know what to say about that. They got
- 10:23Speaker 4: crocs on. Y'all know, like what it feels like when
- 10:26Speaker 4: you wear like thick socks like it's like a ski
- 10:28Speaker 4: boot or something like it's thick. Yeah, I don't like.
- 10:31Speaker 3: It, or like you gotta wear something sometimes the thicker
- 10:33Speaker 3: dress sock if you if you gotta go somewhere night.
- 10:36Speaker 4: Yeah, three socks, that's too much. Yeah, no quick twitch
- 10:40Speaker 4: with that, No bad athlete. It probably looks like you
- 10:45Speaker 4: when you had those ankle braces on and O seven.
- 10:47Speaker 4: Yeah that's true.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Imagine the coaches on the sidelines.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Looks you think you had a cankle before wait to
- 10:53Speaker 2: ease sock stack.
- 10:54Speaker 4: Two thousand and four. Ankle braces.
- 10:58Speaker 7: They said, el elundris, just raw. I have sandals on.
- 11:01Speaker 7: I'm not gonna wear socks and sandals.
- 11:03Speaker 4: It's coming back to that. Okay.
- 11:05Speaker 6: I do to the gym, but I don't wears and slides.
- 11:10Speaker 4: So back, and I've been doing it for years.
- 11:11Speaker 6: I don't think I ever stopped doing that. But I'm
- 11:14Speaker 6: not gonna wear it with like flip flops.
- 11:16Speaker 4: I finally like when it came into styles like Lacy,
- 11:18Speaker 4: I told you, I'm telling you for twenty told.
- 11:20Speaker 3: You one day I was gonna set this trend.
- 11:23Speaker 4: I was gonna set it. I did it. I did
- 11:25Speaker 4: ever anyone ever this might have been a Tyler Texas thing.
- 11:27Speaker 4: Did anyone ever stack your shorts? Wear two shorts at
- 11:30Speaker 4: the same time athletic shorts?
- 11:32Speaker 3: And I gotta I gotta tell you, but Jake about
- 11:35Speaker 3: the socks and then mentioning your very multiple shorts shorts
- 11:38Speaker 3: is worse.
- 11:40Speaker 4: Well, you couldn't sag without them.
- 11:41Speaker 6: Why are we wearing layers of clothing?
- 11:44Speaker 4: You could? Though, you gonna just one bear.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Just show your underwear instead of your second pair of
- 11:49Speaker 2: shorts on the ground.
- 11:52Speaker 3: I wanted to be a little classy that some respect.
- 11:56Speaker 4: Kid. Holy moly, I don't even know how you do
- 12:05Speaker 4: what you just said.
- 12:06Speaker 7: Girls did love to like layer a shirt though, like
- 12:09Speaker 7: we used to love to layer a shirt back in
- 12:11Speaker 7: like the two thousands.
- 12:13Speaker 2: I mean, look, there's still people out there that wear
- 12:15Speaker 2: a shirt underneath their polos.
- 12:17Speaker 5: That you a shirt and are a polo wear?
- 12:20Speaker 4: Aren't you the way?
- 12:22Speaker 6: Too many layers?
- 12:23Speaker 3: Not in the hot months, like right now, I don't
- 12:25Speaker 3: have one on it just it kind of just depends
- 12:28Speaker 3: what I'm filling.
- 12:28Speaker 4: I'll go either way with it. It is definitely not
- 12:31Speaker 4: the thing to do anymore. And we're not just some
- 12:34Speaker 4: guys up here. We are male models.
- 12:37Speaker 5: That's true, we do get paid true.
- 12:40Speaker 7: So I mean, if there's anything that I see on
- 12:43Speaker 7: my phone, it is Matt Flynn's face. I don't know
- 12:46Speaker 7: if Poncho is targeting me because he knows I work
- 12:48Speaker 7: with Matt, but it's just so like every other second,
- 12:52Speaker 7: Matt just pops up their.
- 12:53Speaker 4: Best seller too.
- 12:54Speaker 5: It is the best seller they sell out.
- 12:56Speaker 4: Real quick again because what we always say, sex sell
- 13:01Speaker 4: sells better better.
- 13:07Speaker 5: We'll take a break.
- 13:09Speaker 2: We will get to the NFC South News when we
- 13:11Speaker 2: come back here on O TV. Off the bench, all right,
- 13:15Speaker 2: good fabt dot com, fabt dot com. First American Bank
- 13:19Speaker 2: and Trust. They have been in the game for over
- 13:23Speaker 2: a hundred years. You don't do anything for over one
- 13:26Speaker 2: hundred years unless you're doing it the right way. And
- 13:28Speaker 2: that's exactly what they do at First American Banking Trust.
- 13:32Speaker 2: And you'll see right now if you're watching this on YouTube.
- 13:34Speaker 2: They've got all the bails, they got all the whistles
- 13:36Speaker 2: of all the national banks. But local decisions are made
- 13:40Speaker 2: when you work with First American Bank and Trust. Right,

- 14:11Speaker 4: You have a Louisiana company, Louisiana bank making those decisions
- 14:14Speaker 4: for you. F ABT dot comtus Man, I couldn't cut
- 14:18Speaker 4: it as a pull man, stealing live in like a
- 14:21Speaker 4: blind man.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Tiger's turn talkers, This is off the bench, this is you,
- 14:33Speaker 1: mid re, this is out you reminds, not.
- 14:43Speaker 6: Like you say sorry, A long story this time.
- 14:53Speaker 4: All right, Welcome back in ot Wan of Mind.
- 14:56Speaker 2: You. When it comes to your health and the health
- 14:58Speaker 2: of your family, you want that you can count on.

- 15:22Speaker 2: and learn more at oshner dot org dot org Oshanar Health.
- 15:28Speaker 2: All Right, the NFC South news that I was talking about,
- 15:34Speaker 2: Videvea agrees to a one year extension to end his
- 15:38Speaker 2: hold in. That's right, you've heard of a hold out.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Now it's in vogue to have a hold in. I mean,
- 15:44Speaker 2: you're a practice watching, you're in the building.
- 15:48Speaker 4: You're in the building, but you're not practicing.
- 15:51Speaker 2: And Vidavea did not practice the day that I was
- 15:54Speaker 2: at Buccaneers camp, so that would have been Tuesday, Yes, Tuesday,
- 15:59Speaker 2: he was watching, had his jersey on, sitting there with
- 16:01Speaker 2: sunglasses and watching. Well, he ends that hold in. He
- 16:05Speaker 2: does agree to a one year extension. So that is
- 16:08Speaker 2: big news for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and unfortunate news
- 16:13Speaker 2: for anybody playing against the Buccaneers because that looked like
- 16:16Speaker 2: a situation where they could end up going into the season.
- 16:20Speaker 2: So they agree on a one year extension that adds
- 16:23Speaker 2: six million dollars to the eighteen million dollars he was
- 16:27Speaker 2: already set to make in twenty twenty six for a
- 16:29Speaker 2: total of twenty four million dollars plus an additional twenty
- 16:33Speaker 2: four million in twenty twenty seven series. You will make
- 16:36Speaker 2: thirty million dollars guaranteed, but.
- 16:42Speaker 4: He's basically going to make forty eight million over the
- 16:44Speaker 4: next two years. So you weren't here when the when
- 16:50Speaker 4: this all went down, but you would have been so
- 16:53Speaker 4: proud of me when you were gone because I defended
- 16:57Speaker 4: running backs and running back get paid more than Bijon. Yeah,
- 17:02Speaker 4: he's getting paid more than Bijon Robinson Andremieer Gibbs to
- 17:06Speaker 4: play to play football for you had defensive tackle position.
- 17:09Speaker 4: Now that is not the position that you normally think
- 17:12Speaker 4: of when you're gonna be oh yeah, obviously those guys
- 17:14Speaker 4: get paid defensive ends now, wide receivers of course, quarterbacks.
- 17:17Speaker 4: But like you're going to tell me that Peteve is
- 17:24Speaker 4: getting paid more than Jon Robinson, I mean, it's it's
- 17:27Speaker 4: a pretty wild number, and what positions can demand certain
- 17:31Speaker 4: amounts of money, and that it also shows you the
- 17:34Speaker 4: how bad the running back market got for a long
- 17:37Speaker 4: time from a contract contractual position like Jon and Jamier
- 17:40Speaker 4: Gibbs are a different breed of animal. Yes, like they
- 17:44Speaker 4: are vastly underpaid for what they bring to their football team.
- 17:51Speaker 2: It doesn't it doesn't make sense to me. And I
- 17:55Speaker 2: asked Jon about this. I asked Derrick Henry about this.
- 18:00Speaker 2: I asked Jamir Gibbs about this. I was like, for
- 18:04Speaker 2: y'all knowing what you mean to your team and to
- 18:08Speaker 2: know that you had to scratch, fight and claw to
- 18:11Speaker 2: get a payday, can y'all make that make sense? Because
- 18:16Speaker 2: like I was like, am my old head that just
- 18:18Speaker 2: appreciates the running back more.
- 18:20Speaker 5: They were like, that was the point of us having
- 18:23Speaker 5: a hold in.
- 18:26Speaker 2: We're in meetings, we know what the running back means
- 18:29Speaker 2: to the team, but you're getting paid like a secondary
- 18:33Speaker 2: player and they try to use the well, it's a
- 18:37Speaker 2: position that gets injured.
- 18:39Speaker 5: Find one in the NFL. It doesn't. Linebackers get paid.
- 18:44Speaker 5: Edge rushers get paid. It's pretty violent out there.
- 18:46Speaker 4: On the edge. Chris Lavez, it's got thirty one yes
- 18:50Speaker 4: and making nine million more than And.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Unfortunately for Chris, like his are injuries that he can't help.
- 18:57Speaker 2: It's concussions and blood cloths. Eight on twenty two year.
- 19:05Speaker 3: And Gibbs was like right above that, and those.
- 19:08Speaker 5: Two offenses go through those two guys. The Colts offense
- 19:12Speaker 5: goes through Jonathan Taylor.
- 19:14Speaker 4: My we talked about it.
- 19:16Speaker 3: I think you were out, Jake, like we discussed Me
- 19:19Speaker 3: and Mountain Landra discussed this on air about like, go
- 19:21Speaker 3: look at the teams that win Super Bowls, they don't
- 19:24Speaker 3: typically have a high paid wide receiver on the team,
- 19:27Speaker 3: And like, the NFL is so quick to pay receivers,
- 19:30Speaker 3: and my thoughts always, yeah, but you are so dependent
- 19:33Speaker 3: on what the quarterback does to get you the football,
- 19:36Speaker 3: but you refuse to pay running backs a lot of time.
- 19:38Speaker 3: So he's just been a little confusing to me.
- 19:40Speaker 4: There's twenty three wide receivers in the NFL a get
- 19:44Speaker 4: paid more per year than jon Right, that's insane, that's insane.
- 19:47Speaker 3: D three Bijeon could be a receiver and be better
- 19:51Speaker 3: than twenty.
- 19:52Speaker 4: Three Gibbs could too. It starts with Courtland Sutton, Christian Watson,
- 20:01Speaker 4: Davonta Smith.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Christian Watson, never plays you want to talk about always hurt,
- 20:05Speaker 3: Christian Watson.
- 20:07Speaker 4: Watson, Randy Watson from Coming to America, Christian Watson, Jamison Williams,
- 20:12Speaker 4: George Biggins, DJ Moore, Jalen Wada, Alec Pierce, T. Higgins,
- 20:14Speaker 4: Terry McLaurin, Nico Collins. I mean, the list goes on
- 20:17Speaker 4: and on of people wide receivers. They get paid more
- 20:20Speaker 4: then Bijon Robinson. Think about that.
- 20:25Speaker 5: It makes no sense.
- 20:26Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean and we and I get it. You're
- 20:28Speaker 4: fighting against the running back market, like you got to
- 20:30Speaker 4: get paid like running back, there's a certain that you
- 20:32Speaker 4: are earmarked at your certain position for that salary. The
- 20:36Speaker 4: argument is those guys, those types of guys are more
- 20:39Speaker 4: than just running backs right there. Weapons They're weapons, absolutely weapons.
- 20:43Speaker 4: And like you look out, then you ask people, coaches,
- 20:49Speaker 4: front office folks, who's the best player in the NFL
- 20:53Speaker 4: like to take quarterbacks out of it? Right, they're either
- 20:57Speaker 4: gonna say Miles Garrett. They're probably gonna s Bijon yeah,
- 21:02Speaker 4: maybe now Jamier as well.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Yeah, it just doesn't make it doesn't make sense. It's
- 21:08Speaker 2: not gonna make sense whatever. Just look at the teams
- 21:12Speaker 2: that had success. Look at the team that won a
- 21:15Speaker 2: Super Bowl. They used two running backs and two fullbacks.
- 21:19Speaker 3: Eagles brought in Saquon, paid him a lot of money
- 21:21Speaker 3: Super Bowl first year. I went to your point about
- 21:25Speaker 3: Christian Watson. He's been in the league four years, played
- 21:28Speaker 3: forty eight games. Bijeon's played fifty one games in three years.
- 21:34Speaker 3: It's on the field a lot more.
- 21:35Speaker 4: That's less than what that's less games played in some
- 21:38Speaker 4: of these guys they're going back to play college. Well
- 21:41Speaker 4: it's true. Uh anyway, Yeah, I don't know how he
- 21:49Speaker 4: got there from the Vita Vea sign name. But it
- 21:52Speaker 4: was just talking about money, money because he was making more.
- 21:56Speaker 4: It's just can make more than Robins.
- 21:58Speaker 5: Just continuing the.
- 22:00Speaker 4: Disrespect for the running back position. Anyway, we had Tripod
- 22:04Speaker 4: had your back, bro. I appreciate you're talking about. I
- 22:09Speaker 4: appreciate that.
- 22:12Speaker 2: And then like the notion that you can find a
- 22:14Speaker 2: running back like in the fourth round two that's.
- 22:18Speaker 4: I mean of the lead. He actually can. But if
- 22:21Speaker 4: you want to find a weapon like those like those
- 22:23Speaker 4: guys are in a different class of themselves. Right here's
- 22:25Speaker 4: the top twelve rushers.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Second round, second round, second round, first round, third round,
- 22:34Speaker 2: fourth round, first round, first round, second round, first round,
- 22:38Speaker 2: first round, first round.
- 22:40Speaker 4: Yep, the fourth round is the outlier, you know what
- 22:43Speaker 4: I'm saying.
- 22:44Speaker 2: So, like to your point, you can find a good player,
- 22:47Speaker 2: but Karen Williams. I think it was a fourth. He
- 22:49Speaker 2: might have been a fifth either way. Like, that's the
- 22:51Speaker 2: only guy that's in the top twelve of rushing that's
- 22:56Speaker 2: not a top three rounder, and the only third rounder
- 22:58Speaker 2: is Devon h Chan.
- 23:00Speaker 4: But those those special guys are very few and far between, Right,
- 23:04Speaker 4: They don't come around every year. Right, But I'm saying
- 23:06Speaker 4: you ain't gonna jump up to the first round to
- 23:07Speaker 4: take just because you want to make it out first rounder.
- 23:10Speaker 4: Let's see one was a fifth. I would say those
- 23:16Speaker 4: guys that are like special, I would say are probably
- 23:18Speaker 4: like the best athletes in the NFL all around.
- 23:24Speaker 3: So often, like Jamier Gibbs lines up in the slot,
- 23:26Speaker 3: at least he did with David Montgomery. MISSI he probably
- 23:28Speaker 3: won't this year.
- 23:29Speaker 5: I got the checko there, so maybe yeah, But like he.
- 23:31Speaker 4: Lined up as a slot receiver, Jean does it.
- 23:34Speaker 3: Too, catches a lot of passes.
- 23:41Speaker 4: Justice for Jean.
- 23:44Speaker 5: Vta B is making two more million.
- 23:48Speaker 4: This is awesome. There's no shade. That's a great car
- 23:53Speaker 4: for him. It is. But when you compare it to
- 23:55Speaker 4: that position, things need changing, Yeah, just for them. You
- 24:00Speaker 4: gotta maybe make him like they need a new position.
- 24:02Speaker 4: Maybe call him like the star, the X Factor. Yeah,
- 24:10Speaker 4: the pointmaker.
- 24:11Speaker 6: Get that store on my butt, get it there.
- 24:14Speaker 5: But I did not like watching that clip.
- 24:18Speaker 4: It to me uncomfortable. Well, off the bench, nice to
- 24:23Speaker 4: meet you. He just full named this.
- 24:30Speaker 6: Off the bench legal name, government name.
- 24:37Speaker 4: Not back really hurts guys from carrying the show for
- 24:41Speaker 4: two weeks. Two, it's like two and a half's two halves.
- 24:47Speaker 4: So that's the total three.
- 24:49Speaker 2: It's like July twenty ninth, it's not.
- 24:54Speaker 4: It's three weeks.
- 24:55Speaker 2: August eighteen, with one special appearance in there, mixing there
- 25:01Speaker 2: on a Friday.
- 25:02Speaker 4: It was a great friday too. Yeah. No, that's not
- 25:06Speaker 4: the reason why I said that. My back actually physically,
- 25:09Speaker 4: it actually hurts, not metaphorically.
- 25:11Speaker 5: You look like an old basketball Yeah.
- 25:13Speaker 4: I gotta play golf today.
- 25:14Speaker 6: Haven't done any push ups.
- 25:15Speaker 4: That's how I did one set of push ups earlier. Yeah,
- 25:18Speaker 4: it's this chair. It's not.
- 25:20Speaker 3: You might be older than forty because you just said
- 25:22Speaker 3: your back hurts and you have to play today.
- 25:26Speaker 4: You're getting you're getting up there. Look, I have this
- 25:28Speaker 4: tournament that we play, and it's a two man tournament.
- 25:31Speaker 4: It's a bracket thing. It's like starts with sixty four
- 25:34Speaker 4: teams starts in March. We're in the semi finals today.
- 25:37Speaker 4: It's it's taken like a month to get this thing scheduled.
- 25:42Speaker 4: That's hurting though, And I don't really want to play
- 25:44Speaker 4: because it's so hot.
- 25:45Speaker 5: Up is the pressure that heavy on your back right now?
- 25:47Speaker 5: About this golf match?
- 25:48Speaker 4: Defendant Champ, I don't know any pressure. It kind of
- 25:51Speaker 4: feels like it.
- 25:51Speaker 5: You don't want to go out there and lose a title.
- 25:53Speaker 4: Yeah, you're the hunted right now. If you do, I'm
- 25:56Speaker 4: it's right. We got to go out there, maybe play
- 25:59Speaker 4: some small ball or something.
- 26:01Speaker 5: I've known you for a long time.
- 26:02Speaker 2: I've seen you play golf a bunch too, and I've
- 26:04Speaker 2: never known you to be that guy.
- 26:05Speaker 4: I get my money's right now. The swing normally you do.
- 26:10Speaker 4: I'm hoping the dangerous heat. We're really loosen it up.
- 26:16Speaker 4: Got dangerous heat. I hope that it's so hot. I
- 26:21Speaker 4: hate heat, hate it. I'd rather be hot than cold. Nope,
- 26:27Speaker 4: like cold weather, like true cold, not like yeah, but
- 26:30Speaker 4: then you can put on layers and it looks sweet.
- 26:33Speaker 6: You put on three pairs of.
- 26:35Speaker 4: Couple pairs of undershirt on top of your polo, like
- 26:39Speaker 4: you would rather go like you'd rather have like a
- 26:41Speaker 4: green Bay December day then right now heat? Yes, all right,
- 26:49Speaker 4: the least you can make a fire.
- 26:52Speaker 3: Playoff games like the Bills and stuff like that looks miserable.
- 26:55Speaker 7: Those like memes or tweets or whatever where people are like, oh,
- 26:59Speaker 7: you summer lovers, the people that complain during the winter.
- 27:03Speaker 6: Y'all better be outside.
- 27:04Speaker 7: Trust me, I'm outside, like I I love the summer,
- 27:08Speaker 7: and I am fully taking advantage of the summer like
- 27:12Speaker 7: I spend time outside.
- 27:13Speaker 4: We don't really have a winner either, Yeah, hell.
- 27:16Speaker 3: Of tan right now our winters at I like our winters.
- 27:19Speaker 4: Yeah, more like springs most places.
- 27:21Speaker 7: I just don't like that, like one week where it
- 27:23Speaker 7: gets super freezing cold.
- 27:25Speaker 3: In early February right late January. Finally, I feel like
- 27:31Speaker 3: Decembers are not that cold for us.
- 27:32Speaker 2: Nor find you another show that can go from Vitevea
- 27:35Speaker 2: to running backs to weather talk in the same second.
- 27:41Speaker 4: There's there's a lot of skill in this.
- 27:44Speaker 2: I don't think anybody can do that, not a Murvatal
- 27:47Speaker 2: Sam or a Jodi get out of here.
- 27:50Speaker 5: I don't think that law firms having that for you.
- 27:54Speaker 3: And people are probably talking about how smooth of a transition.
- 27:56Speaker 4: It was.
- 27:56Speaker 3: This wasn't plan, guys, believe it or not.
- 27:58Speaker 4: Behind the curtain a little bit did not a plan.
- 28:01Speaker 4: We didn't rehearse the show we usually do. We get
- 28:04Speaker 4: her three hours early.
- 28:05Speaker 6: I mean in that group FaceTime. That's where we.
- 28:07Speaker 4: Really, really really walk through this one segment. I got
- 28:10Speaker 4: an idea for this segment next week. Let's walk through this.
- 28:14Speaker 4: That didn't even feel good, like saying out loud? Did it?
- 28:18Speaker 7: No?
- 28:18Speaker 4: I didn't.
- 28:19Speaker 6: All right, guys, let's plan this.
- 28:21Speaker 4: Let's plan this. Have we got a chef.
- 28:26Speaker 5: Yeah, he's coming up. I'm texting him right now.
- 28:28Speaker 4: Perfect.
- 28:29Speaker 5: I'm trying to make sure.
- 28:30Speaker 6: He usually just answered.
- 28:31Speaker 4: Yeah, he just answered. I definitely never text anybody when
- 28:33Speaker 4: else when you were gone, you just called him.
- 28:37Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 28:39Speaker 2: Well he texted me last week and he's like Monchy's
- 28:41Speaker 2: question mark.
- 28:44Speaker 5: I was like, oh.
- 28:45Speaker 7: Man, oh, next Friday, we should we should tell the
- 28:50Speaker 7: people about this.
- 28:51Speaker 5: We have next Friday.
- 28:51Speaker 6: Laundry next Friday.
- 28:53Speaker 5: Devin snow.
- 28:57Speaker 8: Mayo in the audio in the in the house, I'll
- 29:11Speaker 8: pay the fine.
- 29:12Speaker 4: I got you, guys. I didn't know if we could
- 29:13Speaker 4: say we got five Yeah, yeah, that's.
- 29:17Speaker 3: Oh a t r O for the use of the
- 29:19Speaker 3: number five.
- 29:22Speaker 6: Let's do more lawsuits.
- 29:24Speaker 5: Yay, right before we take this break.
- 29:26Speaker 2: When remind you my friends over at PALLA, attention industrial facilities.

- 30:15Speaker 2: All right, Chef Michael Johnson, Munchie's questions when we come
- 30:18Speaker 2: back here on a TV off.
- 30:20Speaker 1: The bench from the locker room to the airwaves. Gets
- 30:30Speaker 1: off the bench with Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn.
- 30:41Speaker 4: World, I live my body and somewhere in samtwn. All right,
- 30:50Speaker 4: welcome back, Ott.
- 30:53Speaker 2: It is time now to get to your Munchie questions
- 30:57Speaker 2: with Chef Michael Johnson.
- 30:59Speaker 1: Get ready to Analyzia taste buds and leave this segment hungry.
- 31:03Speaker 1: This is Monkey's with Executive Chef Michael Johnson.
- 31:07Speaker 5: Jeff, what's going on?
- 31:08Speaker 4: Brother?
- 31:08Speaker 5: How you doing?
- 31:09Speaker 4: Man?
- 31:10Speaker 9: I'm hanging in there, guys.
- 31:14Speaker 4: It's a cad.
- 31:16Speaker 5: I'm hanging by a thread.
- 31:19Speaker 9: Oh man. You know, truth be known, I had a
- 31:24Speaker 9: unprecedented day off this year during camp. It was kind
- 31:27Speaker 9: of a force day off because my refrigerator went out
- 31:29Speaker 9: on me overnight Monday night to Tuesday night, and you know,
- 31:33Speaker 9: I had about thirty or forty pounds of frozen fish and.
- 31:36Speaker 4: Kicking no man.
- 31:39Speaker 9: So yeah, it's uh, it's not been without a few challenges,
- 31:43Speaker 9: but I'm still kicking.
- 31:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:45Speaker 5: Nothing's gonna whole chef down.
- 31:49Speaker 4: Yeah, that's a lot of food.
- 31:51Speaker 5: It's a lot of Yeah.
- 31:53Speaker 9: It was a law there for sure.
- 31:55Speaker 5: All right, chef.
- 31:55Speaker 2: So we'll try to take your mind off of it
- 31:57Speaker 2: for a little bit here. We were talking early here, Okay,
- 32:00Speaker 2: so stay with me. Sushi breakfast roll can make it happen.
- 32:07Speaker 9: Yeah, I mean I think so for sure.
- 32:11Speaker 4: How would we get it done? How what would we
- 32:13Speaker 4: put in there?
- 32:14Speaker 9: Well, first of all, I don't think there's a bad
- 32:16Speaker 9: time of day for salmon. I'll eat any time of day,
- 32:19Speaker 9: even if it's locks. You know, if it's if you're
- 32:22Speaker 9: not ready for the full on uh you know, like
- 32:25Speaker 9: raw raw texture. Even though locks are raw, it's at
- 32:27Speaker 9: least you're I think, you know, locks and cream, cheese
- 32:30Speaker 9: and capers kind of like a uh you know, like
- 32:34Speaker 9: a spread. So a lot of people eat that in
- 32:36Speaker 9: the bagel. But I would eat that with rice and
- 32:37Speaker 9: and and and noor anytime, you know, like a little
- 32:43Speaker 9: egg in there I think would be okay too, and
- 32:45Speaker 9: some asparious spear.
- 32:47Speaker 4: Yeah, I didn't think it actually done. I thought this
- 32:49Speaker 4: was like a joke question that Jacob was giving you.
- 32:51Speaker 4: But like the locks and like the capers and stuff,
- 32:53Speaker 4: that sounds legit. I love that on a bag.
- 32:56Speaker 9: Yeah, I mean got it.
- 33:03Speaker 4: Got a situation chased?
- 33:04Speaker 5: Are you in the car or.
- 33:06Speaker 4: You just buy the cars getting chased?
- 33:10Speaker 9: That's fifteen is what that looked like.
- 33:15Speaker 5: Oh, poor chef going through it, going it right now?
- 33:20Speaker 9: Oh man, I'm telling.
- 33:21Speaker 5: You, you know, a day of the week it is chef.
- 33:23Speaker 9: Honestly, no, I don't, man, And it really doesn't matter
- 33:26Speaker 9: to be honest with you, because I got at least
- 33:27Speaker 9: had more days of it. So it's Monday. That's what's
- 33:30Speaker 9: what I keep telling people, how.
- 33:32Speaker 5: Much to you? So not this Monday, but next Monday.
- 33:35Speaker 9: Next not this Friday, but next Friday will be uh.
- 33:40Speaker 9: So we work through training camps through the weekend after
- 33:43Speaker 9: training camp, and then school starts on Monday, so we
- 33:47Speaker 9: are our day off won't really be until Saturday after
- 33:50Speaker 9: after the first week of school. So I think that's
- 33:53Speaker 9: the twenty ninth or thirtieth or something like that.
- 33:55Speaker 2: During camp chef, I used to always like have the
- 33:58Speaker 2: calendar out, like a big calendar, and I had to
- 34:00Speaker 2: mark through the days because if I like I had
- 34:03Speaker 2: to have something at the end of the night where
- 34:05Speaker 2: I would go again like a big marker, I just yeah,
- 34:07Speaker 2: I'd X out the day and so I could visually
- 34:10Speaker 2: see what it looked like.
- 34:11Speaker 9: Yeah, we've got one on the on the on the
- 34:13Speaker 9: Dray Goods wall, buddy, all.
- 34:17Speaker 4: Right, So I've got a lot of hashtag munchies here.
- 34:19Speaker 4: It happened to crave Buffalo wings. Do you make them
- 34:21Speaker 4: yourself or if not, where's your go to place?
- 34:24Speaker 9: I mean, I don't really make them by myself too
- 34:27Speaker 9: often at the house. I mean we eat them here
- 34:28Speaker 9: often enough. Wings are quite popular, you know, like it
- 34:32Speaker 9: depends on how motivated I am. You know, you've got
- 34:36Speaker 9: they've got to place up the street from me that
- 34:38Speaker 9: makes wings, but they're not they're not the ones that
- 34:41Speaker 9: I prefer. You know, Buffalo Wild Wings has them pretty good,
- 34:44Speaker 9: but they're also closer by to me than some of
- 34:46Speaker 9: the other places are World of Wings or whatever. So
- 34:50Speaker 9: hot and Ready is is kind of a standard for me,
- 34:53Speaker 9: you know, like my when I go home and I'm
- 34:56Speaker 9: not wanting to cook, you know, like my my need
- 34:59Speaker 9: is to fisce preserving my piece, right, not going, not
- 35:04Speaker 9: going and finding a busy restaurant necessarily, because I got
- 35:08Speaker 9: plenty of that in my life.
- 35:09Speaker 4: So now, chef, if you are sitting there with a
- 35:11Speaker 4: plate full of wings, and you got a cup of
- 35:13Speaker 4: ranch on your left, a couple of blue cheese on
- 35:16Speaker 4: your right, which one you dip in first?
- 35:20Speaker 9: Probably? I don't know that's a good one, man. You know,
- 35:23Speaker 9: I think rant and blue cheese, and I've been known
- 35:26Speaker 9: to mix the two of them together, to be honest
- 35:27Speaker 9: with you, you know.
- 35:28Speaker 4: Like, yeah, all right, that's a that's a pro move
- 35:31Speaker 4: right there. Yeah, hashtag munchies. What's a good theahita marinade recipe.
- 35:40Speaker 9: So there's two different types of marinadse and they need
- 35:42Speaker 9: to be described clearly here because one is meant to
- 35:45Speaker 9: flavor and one is meant to tender eye. And if
- 35:48Speaker 9: you're using a marinade like with lemon juice in it,
- 35:50Speaker 9: little olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, whatever your seasonings are,
- 35:54Speaker 9: that's a quick marinade and it's meant to because it
- 35:56Speaker 9: has acid, it will break down the meat tissues and
- 35:59Speaker 9: if you leave it in there too long, it'll turn
- 36:01Speaker 9: it into meat meat putting literally, you know, like that
- 36:05Speaker 9: the tissues will break down if you left it whatever
- 36:07Speaker 9: meat cut it is. It really doesn't matter if you
- 36:09Speaker 9: met left it in lemon juice or lime juice that's
- 36:12Speaker 9: strong of an acid overnight it's it's gonna turn the mush.
- 36:15Speaker 9: So you know, anything that you're putting high acidity stuff
- 36:19Speaker 9: into is a quick marinade. And then uh, a resting
- 36:24Speaker 9: marinate is like olive oil with seasonings and you're not
- 36:26Speaker 9: going to put any kind of acid in it because
- 36:29Speaker 9: you don't want it to turn into mush. So but
- 36:33Speaker 9: I think the ingredients that go into it are a
- 36:36Speaker 9: little bit more personal for self, But how you handle
- 36:39Speaker 9: the marinade and for what length of time is more impactful, right,
- 36:42Speaker 9: Making sure that if you're gonna if you if your
- 36:44Speaker 9: aim is to leave it overnight in the in the
- 36:46Speaker 9: refrigerator because you don't have time withhold the highly acidic
- 36:51Speaker 9: stuff and put the spices in that you like with
- 36:54Speaker 9: olive oil or whatever kind of oil that you're going
- 36:56Speaker 9: to cook with and let us soak in that way.
- 36:59Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah. We tried to make like homemade tortillas one
- 37:02Speaker 4: time at the house and we got through the process
- 37:04Speaker 4: and by the end of it, we were like, this
- 37:06Speaker 4: is not worth it. Do you have any like do
- 37:08Speaker 4: you make.
- 37:08Speaker 9: Your own tortillas?
- 37:10Speaker 4: I can't remember. It feels corner, feels flour. Yeah, I
- 37:13Speaker 4: want to say those flower tortillas because that's what we
- 37:15Speaker 4: eat the nose. But it was like, man, it wasn't
- 37:16Speaker 4: worth it at the by the time we were eating
- 37:18Speaker 4: and you got any like tips on that to make
- 37:20Speaker 4: it better?
- 37:21Speaker 9: Avoid it at all? Okay, you got to have a
- 37:25Speaker 9: family of people around one dude, you know, making little
- 37:27Speaker 9: balls rolling on one press and the one you know,
- 37:30Speaker 9: like stacking them and putting them in between the paper.
- 37:33Speaker 9: I mean, it really is a process, brother, And while
- 37:36Speaker 9: it produces a superior product, I mean you got to
- 37:40Speaker 9: have a you got to have a production plant ready
- 37:43Speaker 9: for that. I don't have rooms. We tried to do
- 37:45Speaker 9: it once and had like three presses and had all
- 37:48Speaker 9: the masa or had all the massa and stuff here,
- 37:51Speaker 9: and it was painful, mane. And you know, I think
- 37:56Speaker 9: at this age group, not everybody appreciates that. You know
- 37:59Speaker 9: that at that level of depth, you know, there's still
- 38:02Speaker 9: some there's still some uh what I would what I
- 38:05Speaker 9: would call, you know, palace that are they're not quite
- 38:08Speaker 9: matured fully, and so you know, I sometimes it goes
- 38:13Speaker 9: without being noticed, and you know, like, uh, it's a difficult.
- 38:18Speaker 9: You know, you don't really charge too much for for
- 38:20Speaker 9: tortillas either, you know what I mean. It's it's one
- 38:23Speaker 9: of those things where it's it's great, but man, the
- 38:26Speaker 9: time that goes into it, you have to you have
- 38:28Speaker 9: to charge for it, or you have to account for
- 38:31Speaker 9: it even more importantly. And so I prefer to buy
- 38:34Speaker 9: the chips and put my energy into the guacamole and
- 38:37Speaker 9: the stall instead of the chips yeh hashag munchies.
- 38:42Speaker 2: Does the menu change once it becomes game week compared
- 38:46Speaker 2: to training camp.
- 38:47Speaker 9: Yeah, absolutely, So it's not necessarily game week for us.
- 38:51Speaker 9: It's more importantly it's the school, right, So we go
- 38:54Speaker 9: from having three sports here to having every sport here
- 38:57Speaker 9: twenty two sports, and we go from having one hundred
- 38:59Speaker 9: and fifty or sixty athletes here to five hundred and
- 39:03Speaker 9: eight athletes here. So you know, training camp is very
- 39:09Speaker 9: football forward in the fact that we're we've put some
- 39:11Speaker 9: heavier foods out, ones that are meant to prevent weight
- 39:14Speaker 9: loss that you know in this heat, and and and
- 39:17Speaker 9: the duration of what it is we're trying to we're
- 39:21Speaker 9: trying to prevent weight loss, and so that, you know,
- 39:23Speaker 9: the training becomes a little less intense once camp is
- 39:26Speaker 9: over right, and and then we have to give consideration
- 39:31Speaker 9: to the other sports as well. So it's not a
- 39:33Speaker 9: heavy turn, but it's it's mild adjustments, right, all.
- 39:38Speaker 2: Right, there is Chef Michael Johnson gonna have to join
- 39:40Speaker 2: us every single Thursday to answer your munchie questions. Chef,
- 39:44Speaker 2: we appreciate the time as always. In Hey, the finish
- 39:47Speaker 2: line is insight. You're gonna get there brother.
- 39:49Speaker 9: I can see it, buddy, We're almost there.
