- 0:11Speaker 2: to seven every weekday on radio hereckare yeah, man, get
- 0:17Speaker 2: a fellas Lincoln runs, aren't we?
- 0:19Speaker 3: Yeah? At the moment, two boundaries off the over and
- 0:21Speaker 3: that's pissing.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Me Off's going at five? Yeah, not good enough, Jason.
- 0:25Speaker 3: It would have had three wickets out of Latham having
- 0:26Speaker 3: to fucking drop a SI that she kept. Yeah, it
- 0:30Speaker 3: was too busy. You were right now you're thinking about dinner.
- 0:33Speaker 3: I wonder what we're going to have for dinner tonight,
- 0:35Speaker 3: which is predominantly what I used to think about when
- 0:38Speaker 3: I was playing cricket.
- 0:39Speaker 1: What are you having for dinner tonight?
- 0:40Speaker 3: Well, we haven't decided that yet, but usually keysy on
- 0:44Speaker 3: a Friday, Friday's.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Uber night, takeaway night.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it's a takeaway night, special time. Yeah.
- 0:50Speaker 3: And I and I just feel like at the moment
- 0:53Speaker 3: I need some treats in.
- 0:54Speaker 2: My life, do you. Yeah, Well, yesterday it was a
- 0:56Speaker 2: sugar free day, wasn't it. Oh here we fucking go ah, Yeah,
- 1:03Speaker 2: smashed the red ball, that's true. Actually, boons of sugar
- 1:06Speaker 2: in that bastard. Yeah, well that was my only sugar.
- 1:10Speaker 2: I think, oh, well done.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Yeah, but I didn't even think about that.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Congrats.
- 1:15Speaker 1: What is the rule? Is it one of those things
- 1:16Speaker 1: where it say, as long as my wife's not around,
- 1:18Speaker 1: I can do it.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Well she was there actually, but she wasn't when you
- 1:22Speaker 2: had your red bull.
- 1:24Speaker 1: That the way your diet's going, though.
- 1:27Speaker 3: She actually got home and had a butcher.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Yeah that's fine.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Is that all right? And I said you that's right downy.
- 1:33Speaker 3: But you know what was difficult apart from the coffee,
- 1:36Speaker 3: and I usually have a feed of week books at
- 1:38Speaker 3: the end of the night as well as my treat. Yeah,
- 1:41Speaker 3: but a pile of fucking brown shugars, so I couldn't
- 1:43Speaker 3: have that. But what made matters worse was that we
- 1:47Speaker 3: had three kit kats in the in the old fridge
- 1:50Speaker 3: there and couldn't eat those as well. And I was
- 1:52Speaker 3: having a real of sugar.
- 1:56Speaker 2: I'm amazed that you have one day a week where
- 1:57Speaker 2: you don't eat sugar. Yeah, that's and that's that. It's
- 2:01Speaker 2: tough for you. It tough.
- 2:05Speaker 3: It's just tough. It was. It wasn't great coffee.
- 2:08Speaker 1: But when you say no sugar, what does that mean.
- 2:11Speaker 3: Well, we try, like there's going to be no treats. Basically,
- 2:16Speaker 3: there's going to be stuff that has sugar in it probably,
- 2:18Speaker 3: But you're.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Not having sugar in your coffee, you're not having red bulls,
- 2:23Speaker 2: you're not having you should be doing that five days
- 2:27Speaker 2: a week. Oh fuck off, you should You should not
- 2:30Speaker 2: be eating treats seven days a week. And it's hard
- 2:34Speaker 2: for you to go one day without. We haven't gone
- 2:37Speaker 2: without you had a red bull sometimes.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Sometimes, as I say, my treat as wheatbacks, which I
- 2:42Speaker 3: don't think is too excessive. I mean, I mean amount
- 2:48Speaker 3: of sugar in it.
- 2:48Speaker 4: Yeah, But like let's say we had dinner and the
- 2:51Speaker 4: dinner has like a sauce that you put on the
- 2:53Speaker 4: whatever that's sugar.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Are you allowed that?
- 2:55Speaker 3: Yeah? I think so.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Yeah, right, So it's just treats.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Well, it's basically treats. If the you've got to what
- 3:01Speaker 2: dinner is a sugar sauce on it, that's dos it?
- 3:03Speaker 4: No, Like you know any most of the sauces that
- 3:06Speaker 4: you like a hellow fresher of food box type situation,
- 3:08Speaker 4: the sauce is usually quite sweet and sugar sugar.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:12Speaker 3: I like, for example, when I take you fellows out
- 3:14Speaker 3: for dinner. J won't be having any pudding.
- 3:18Speaker 1: No, no, because you're paying for it, so you'll.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Yeah, you'll be trying to scrub. We won't have we
- 3:24Speaker 2: won't have to sugar sugar free and we'll go Now,
- 3:28Speaker 2: well you can go home, man, but we'll order.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Up and let me just put let me just put
- 3:31Speaker 3: it on the record right now. There will be no
- 3:33Speaker 3: pest drinking either.
- 3:34Speaker 2: We'll be drinking. Person I'm going to get I'm going
- 3:36Speaker 2: to fall off the wagon, just just for that, just.
- 3:39Speaker 4: For that, wines Ja, Why don't you wean yourself off
- 3:44Speaker 4: of sugar in your coffee?
- 3:45Speaker 2: Right?
- 3:47Speaker 4: Yeah, like an adult. It tastes so good without sugar
- 3:50Speaker 4: in it. So you wean yourself off there, and then
- 3:51Speaker 4: you can have a kit cat, you know what I mean.
- 3:54Speaker 1: You're not like tripling down on heavy.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Yeah, because how many how many coffee is you having
- 3:57Speaker 2: to day? I have three? So you have six teaspoons
- 4:01Speaker 2: of sugar in your coffee?
- 4:02Speaker 3: No, because one of them is a long black and
- 4:04Speaker 3: I don't have sugar in that.
- 4:05Speaker 4: Okay, So the one in the morning, you're gonna win yourself, like,
- 4:08Speaker 4: just put I wean my sugar.
- 4:14Speaker 3: I'll tell you why. Here's the deal. I'll do that
- 4:16Speaker 3: if you give up the beersies.
- 4:18Speaker 1: No, that's a ship deal. We're not sitting here.
- 4:22Speaker 2: That's a good deal.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Talking about me drinking too many beers, because that's not
- 4:25Speaker 1: an issue.
- 4:25Speaker 2: I'll tell you what today is drink. Are you going.
- 4:30Speaker 4: Out barbecue an ice plasmash?
- 4:34Speaker 1: Those my beer drinking We don't get smashed. We just
- 4:36Speaker 1: drink beers.
- 4:37Speaker 4: And then you just get to a certain point with
- 4:39Speaker 4: beers where you just at that point and you're steamed
- 4:41Speaker 4: and you never seem to go past that. Right, Well
- 4:43Speaker 4: I don't, but I've seen you. You get your piss
- 4:48Speaker 4: what I'm saying, not like you know. Yeah, so you
- 4:51Speaker 4: get to that. We all do talk a lot of
- 4:53Speaker 4: ship really loudly, and then all of our partners tell
- 4:55Speaker 4: us to shut up and yeah, and then I put
- 4:58Speaker 4: on old music like Humperdink and I'll sing that really loudly.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Cool.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Well, she's trying to go to bed.
- 5:04Speaker 3: And yeah, she rolls over and gives you shoulder, you
- 5:09Speaker 3: know the kind of weather.
- 5:12Speaker 4: The whole ky Bee Show wee days from four on
- 5:16Speaker 4: Radio Hierarchy, the Wracky Big Show Podcast.
- 5:22Speaker 3: I mean even yesterday when we were at the Hangar
- 5:25Speaker 3: bar there, you know that outside here. I was like, fuck,
- 5:27Speaker 3: that'd be good, wouldn't it. Oh? Yeah, we're having a
- 5:30Speaker 3: few beers.
- 5:30Speaker 2: It's quite good. We had a bottle of wine that
- 5:32Speaker 2: i'd had a little bit out of on Sunday there
- 5:34Speaker 2: and it's just sort of s's open and it's just
- 5:36Speaker 2: sitting there. I was only a little bit out of it.
- 5:38Speaker 2: And it feels like a waste, you know what I mean.
- 5:41Speaker 2: I was like, I wonder if I was going to
- 5:43Speaker 2: suggest that this is there and she's going to suggest
- 5:45Speaker 2: that we just have a little go on that. Yeah,
- 5:47Speaker 2: but she suggested a lime water and said, ah, she's
- 5:51Speaker 2: your enabler too, you need her. And then and so
- 5:54Speaker 2: I didn't say anything about it. And then wake up
- 5:56Speaker 2: this morning, I was like, thank god, whine. So I
- 5:59Speaker 2: gave that by the one away today, don't in the house.
- 6:01Speaker 2: And then I got delivery of some purse, got some
- 6:03Speaker 2: free pest delivered from fucking sweet, and so I got
- 6:06Speaker 2: to get rid of that. What is it? So?
- 6:09Speaker 3: But hang on, what's the deal here? So you're not
- 6:11Speaker 3: drinking over summer?
- 6:12Speaker 2: Oh, you're just taking a few weeks off.
- 6:16Speaker 3: Okay, Okay, you see I'm I'm lucky in the sense
- 6:19Speaker 3: that my wife.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Some podcast.
- 6:27Speaker 3: My wife doesn't. She didn't drinks, as I've mentioned before,
- 6:34Speaker 3: much to my just disgust.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Can we just clarify Jason's watching the cricket.
- 6:42Speaker 3: So I'm lucky in that regard. Yeah, Like if she
- 6:45Speaker 3: was a big pest drinker, that'd be hard. Yeah, that'd
- 6:48Speaker 3: be hard. You know what I mean?
- 6:49Speaker 1: My wife would drinks.
- 6:51Speaker 4: She has one friend who I love is like my
- 6:54Speaker 4: favorite friend of her is because whenever they go out together,
- 6:57Speaker 4: magative and its fucking funny.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:00Speaker 4: And so it's like me and her go thirteenth December,
- 7:03Speaker 4: by the way, little girls lunch thing with her in
- 7:06Speaker 4: this check You've got You've got your week. So we'll
- 7:09Speaker 4: link up afterwards. Hopefully it'll be great fun. Hopefully, but
- 7:12Speaker 4: only if her massive enabling friend is there.
- 7:15Speaker 1: I need her to be with it.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Sure, she's a great woman, Yeah, wing person.
- 7:18Speaker 4: I don't know how she doesn't, but just everyone around
- 7:20Speaker 4: her gets stemed whenever she's there.
- 7:22Speaker 2: It's so great, good stuff. Yeah good. Yeah.
- 7:25Speaker 4: Should we talk about We're not allowed to talk about
- 7:27Speaker 4: the thing that happened on the radio. Oh yeah, so
- 7:29Speaker 4: we have to talk about on here that yeah, there
- 7:31Speaker 4: was a.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Was a fight. Yeah. Yeah.
- 7:35Speaker 4: Hangerby last night was so great, so west awkward. It's
- 7:38Speaker 4: so two guys and backbone shirts having a ruckus with one.
- 7:42Speaker 4: I've never heard of her, You've never heard of our show,
- 7:44Speaker 4: got the backbone shirts on having a go at each other.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:46Speaker 3: I heard from Toddy there that it was the boss
- 7:50Speaker 3: and one of the employees.
- 7:51Speaker 2: So it was. Yeah, there was a couple of young
- 7:53Speaker 2: it was. It was a work drinks and you'd imagine
- 7:57Speaker 2: they were builders or plumbers or something like that. Ye're
- 7:59Speaker 2: a trading and a couple of young fellows were running
- 8:02Speaker 2: the yaps and so a couple of the older fellows
- 8:03Speaker 2: needed to put them in their place. One of them
- 8:05Speaker 2: in particular, came off worse than the other, yes, and
- 8:09Speaker 2: then still kept on running his goddamn yep and then
- 8:12Speaker 2: got putting in a cab and seeing home eventually. But
- 8:15Speaker 2: it went for a while for a while. And it's
- 8:17Speaker 2: a shame because it would have made a great photo,
- 8:20Speaker 2: the guy with a completely blood person out of his
- 8:23Speaker 2: nose and teeth, yes, and a backbone shirt on. It
- 8:27Speaker 2: would have been it would have been good. But oh,
- 8:29Speaker 2: the players that be didn't think it was a good
- 8:30Speaker 2: look for our show when I completely disagree for our promo.
- 8:34Speaker 4: Yeah, I think it was more about Yeah, you know
- 8:36Speaker 4: Isaac in the office, he was saying that one of
- 8:39Speaker 4: the real hammered dudes up front was like, Oh, these
- 8:41Speaker 4: guys think they'll make it some pretty funny jokes about wistalk.
- 8:44Speaker 1: How about we showed them how funny wistalking.
- 8:45Speaker 3: Can really be. Fucking bring it.
- 8:50Speaker 4: Yeah, And I know which guy was talking about. He
- 8:52Speaker 4: probably would have. Yeah, he said, had a good run
- 8:54Speaker 4: at us. I was at the big fellow, was the
- 8:56Speaker 4: tweaky guy who he'd already walked past.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, other one. Yeah. Then he came back, I reckon,
- 9:02Speaker 2: I am, Oh, you could have, And then he would
- 9:06Speaker 2: expects it's just cool, you know, I tell you, Yon,
- 9:11Speaker 2: we should go to Whistlecord and do a show and
- 9:12Speaker 2: then subdued through. And that's literally what happens is the
- 9:16Speaker 2: stereotype is the reality so funny and yeah, it's such
- 9:24Speaker 2: a weird thing to to not have a sense of
- 9:27Speaker 2: humor about that totally about the place you came from,
- 9:29Speaker 2: till fire up and want to smack someone over because
- 9:31Speaker 2: they've taken the purse out to where you live.
- 9:33Speaker 3: But you know what, you know what that'll be. It'll
- 9:35Speaker 3: be passed just because they're passed, you know what I mean,
- 9:38Speaker 3: looking for any totally. My wife actually was telling me
- 9:44Speaker 3: the day before yesterday, she.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Was can you just pause next time so that we
- 9:48Speaker 1: can She was in the lounge.
- 9:51Speaker 3: And she just said it was in the morning and
- 9:53Speaker 3: she just heard this fucking, absolute, saming, fucking man love making,
- 10:00Speaker 3: which I've got to be I've got to be honest
- 10:02Speaker 3: with you, is actually not that uncommon where I am
- 10:05Speaker 3: in anyway. She was like, She's like, what the fuck
- 10:09Speaker 3: is that? And she went up on the street and
- 10:13Speaker 3: it was just some dude in his undies at the
- 10:16Speaker 3: top of the drive, literally just screaming his fucking head
- 10:21Speaker 3: off to no one and his undies and she was like,
- 10:25Speaker 3: what the fuck man.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Auckland Mental Health Services are doing their job on the
- 10:32Speaker 2: street then.
- 10:32Speaker 3: And the funny thing was directly across the road from
- 10:36Speaker 3: where he was, there's a cafe and everyone's just sitting
- 10:39Speaker 3: in the cafe cafe just staring at this door, going
- 10:42Speaker 3: what the fuck is that? It was just mental We walked.
- 10:46Speaker 4: Down to get some noodles, like what one o'clock today,
- 10:50Speaker 4: me and some fellas from Hudarky the Hurducky Hot Boys
- 10:53Speaker 4: Lunch Club, and walked over the traffic lights and the
- 10:56Speaker 4: Skuy's are standing there and looks at Pugs and just goes,
- 10:59Speaker 4: fuck you.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Yeah, and then all you guys just quickly get your
- 11:03Speaker 2: phones out and look at your phone. No, no, I staunched.
- 11:08Speaker 3: I was.
- 11:09Speaker 1: I had quite a lot of smirk on my face.
- 11:11Speaker 3: That happened. That happens to me quite a lot. Yeah,
- 11:13Speaker 3: but it was Pugs, you though, if he was, if
- 11:18Speaker 3: I had been there to smack them.
- 11:20Speaker 4: Jason, why are you trying to make out that you
- 11:23Speaker 4: would smack people? Come on, man, your hand got.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Man.
- 11:28Speaker 3: I'm a wasisty man.
- 11:30Speaker 2: You just smashed back in my day, I was a
- 11:32Speaker 2: vicious little bas You said that so many times. You
- 11:36Speaker 2: asked when you were when you were in ten eight?
- 11:40Speaker 2: And it doesn't count if you're a child, Ja, What
- 11:44Speaker 2: counts is when you're an adult.
- 11:45Speaker 3: Hey, it does when you're fighting a thirty year old pal.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Yeah, Pal, I love Pal. That's good ship. Four to seven.
- 11:53Speaker 1: It's fucking great. It's already heard
