- 0:00Barbara about Bound Bang your management fantasy hockey
- 0:03podcast Woo woo. I'm not gonna woo today cause
- 0:06I'm nervous about. This Why are you nervous?
- 0:11I'm nervous. Alright, deep breaths cause this
- 0:12is the tough one guys, this is a tough one.
- 0:14OK, so lapini lookee Bangor vadivu shufan tasiast hockey A
- 0:23podcaster who? That was difficult.
- 0:27Well, I'm a language connoisseur and I could immediately tell
- 0:30that you were speaking Latvian with perfect accent.
- 0:33Yeah, I also was able to tell that.
- 0:37But for for those who don't speak Latvian, welcome into Week
- 0:4017 streamer episode with Bangor Management.
- 0:43Honestly, like if I had to guess, I would say that's from
- 0:45like the Riga region, which is the capital of Latvia.
- 0:49You're correct, yeah. If we have any Latvian
- 0:55listeners, especially from Riga, please let me know how I.
- 0:58Did, yes. I'm wondering.
- 0:59Obviously we're just trying to do justice to our listeners and
- 1:02to people of Latvian descent. Yeah, and that was like in a
- 1:06slight homage on or whatever to Canada losing to Latvia in the
- 1:11world junior. So Congrats, Latvia, and yeah,
- 1:15maybe you're going to become our third official language.
- 1:18That's that's that's now I'm just depressed because Canada
- 1:21laws, but it's but it's fine. But at least we're ahead of the
- 1:24game. We we can say a sentence in
- 1:26Latvia now. So that's pretty.
- 1:27Great, there you go. We just have to start going
- 1:29through all the countries that defeated Canada in whatever
- 1:32sport. But it's fine.
- 1:34But before we get into the week 17 streamers, I just want to
- 1:37remind everybody to follow us on our social medias.
- 1:40I mean, check the podcast description for the Lync tree.
- 1:43Then you'll find there are links to ex Reddit everywhere.
- 1:45You can ask us questions. And if you like what you hear,
- 1:48don't forget to read us five stars on your favorite casting
- 1:50platform because we really appreciate it and it really
- 1:52helps get the podcast out there. So yeah, I mean, before we get
- 1:55into it, Week 15 choices. Do I have a house?
- 1:58I think I do because we picked Ryan O'Reilly, Jonathan
- 2:02Huberdeau and William Eckland. And I mean, listen, is it a
- 2:05surprise that Jonathan Huber don't let us down?
- 2:07Probably a little bit, but Ryan O'Reilly points.
- 2:11To teach you this lesson, old man.
- 2:13Right O'Reilly and William Ackland came in clutch though
- 2:15and Echlin on my team with a short handed point against Josh.
- 2:18That was fun until my dreams crushed later in the week, but
- 2:22that's fine. But yeah, on the season 19 and
- 2:2511. Oops.
- 2:26Vacuum Kevin. That means congratulations.
- 2:30I knew what it meant. I knew that meant that.
- 2:38Alright, so for week 17, I think one of the most important things
- 2:41to keep into account are the teams that play two games, which
- 2:44is Ottawa, San Jose. I mean, I don't, I'm guessing
- 2:47this is San Jose. Somebody wrote SJS instead of
- 2:51Jo, but yeah, that's fine. And, and, and Toronto.
- 2:54So those are teams you get to avoid streaming from.
- 2:57If you own Thomas Shabbat, Morgan Riley or Alexander
- 3:00Georgiev, I feel comfortable dropping them to stream from
- 3:03that roster spot. I think all those guys are
- 3:05probably droppable. Maybe Morgan Riley.
- 3:07Take a look, see if he gets back on the PPU one with some
- 3:10injuries, but All in all those guys you can feel comfortable
- 3:13dropping. Yeah, you could definitely say
- 3:15Shabbat Shalom to that Ottawa guy.
- 3:17Morgan Riley is a bit. Thanks.
- 3:19Thank you. Thanks guys.
- 3:20Good one. Morgan Riley's mech but may have
- 3:24that power play one opportunity. And I just wanted to mention for
- 3:26Georgiev, he's played a lot of games recently, even though he
- 3:30just lost a lot of games recently because he sucks and
- 3:32the sharks aren't very good. That's.
- 3:33Sounds like an Oscar of owner. Not anymore.
- 3:37I I I'm not, but Askerov was sick which explains why Georgia
- 3:41Georgia got most of the starts so you could probably expect
- 3:45Askerov to get most of them if not an even split moving
- 3:48forward. So Georgia should not be
- 3:50rostered in 46% of leagues. And if I could add to the drops,
- 3:54I would say MO Reilly, Mo problems.
- 3:58I was muted, but I laughed. My bad.
- 4:02I I wanted to hear that. All right, so.
- 4:08Should Jake is also muted, He's just talking not many busy guys
- 4:13this week. So I would I wouldn't I wouldn't
- 4:16feel I wouldn't let that sway my decision making for streaming
- 4:20guys. You can be confident that all
- 4:22your guys can probably slot into your lineup this week.
- 4:24And yeah, I guess let's touch on some points and shots, guys.
- 4:28Yes. OK.
- 4:30So to start off, this week's gonna be a little bit different
- 4:35because I've actually chosen players and roster in less than
- 4:3840% of leagues and there's quite a few to name.
- 4:41Reason being we're getting into the season, so it's kind of hard
- 4:45to some of the guys are just rostered over 50 at this point.
- 4:48So I just wanted to dig a bit deeper.
- 4:50So we're still going to make 50% of our criteria, just saying for
- 4:54this week, it's 40%. First of all, on the list we
- 4:57have Pierre Luc Dubois, PLD, 39% owned.
- 5:01We're not going to do the own percentage, but he's the highest
- 5:03percentage guy. Line 2, Power play 2, got three
- 5:06games this week. He's been very good recently.
- 5:09I think he's definitely worth a stream.
- 5:12Yeah, not much to say there. He's been solid, better than I
- 5:15expected. He's.
- 5:16Been people trying to yeah he got some looks on line one too.
- 5:19I traded him because you guys told me he was gonna suck.
- 5:22And I do not believe you guys, but I they bought into what you
- 5:26were selling me. And I mean like Victor Hedman,
- 5:28but. Yeah.
- 5:31Did get praying things. Yeah, we can't be right all the
- 5:34time. Just most of the time.
- 5:36Then we got Pavel, Dora, FEV, Line 2, Power Play One.
- 5:40Got three games this week. He's been fantastic lately.
- 5:43If he can stay on the Power Play one.
- 5:45Just better than that. Yeah, he's censored version this
- 5:50time. Nice.
- 5:50Yeah, he's rejoicing all over you, but yeah.
- 5:57If you don't know what that means, listen to our previous
- 5:58episode. Yes.
- 6:00Yeah, yeah. But yeah, good player, good
- 6:03team. Anything else to add for you
- 6:04guys? I mean, as long as he's on that
- 6:06power play 1, he has value and right now they seem to favor him
- 6:09over Olafson. I wouldn't say it's the most
- 6:11strong grasp, you know, but he's been doing well with it lately.
- 6:14So I wouldn't, I wouldn't be surprised if he keeps it for a
- 6:16while and at least for this week.
- 6:19Yep. Then we got Blake Coleman, who
- 6:21is honestly good enough to like get bangers to be in the bangers
- 6:25category pretty much all the time.
- 6:26But he's been a stud for points lately, just a stellar pickup
- 6:29overall, and Calgary is four games, so I really like him for
- 6:32this week. Yeah, I should have picked him
- 6:35up earlier. When I look forward about it,
- 6:37the four-game week obviously helps and he's he's getting
- 6:40close to double, double, so that's really fun.
- 6:43Yeah, then he got Jackson Lacombe 30% owned and this is
- 6:49just exciting. I wanted to mention that because
- 6:50he was like nothing before, but now he's line one power play one
- 6:54forward turned defenseman. So that's always exciting for
- 6:57fantasy purposes. He's one of the more.
- 6:58Enticing, he discovered him. Yeah, he's one of the more
- 7:01enticing power play one defenseman, I think that's
- 7:05widely available on waivers. So I'd be really interested in
- 7:08that if you need a defenseman stream.
- 7:10I will say though, that Anaheim power play is really bad.
- 7:13I know it's really bad but. Listen, that's still, yeah,
- 7:16there's still been, he's been solid despite them having a bad
- 7:18power play. So I'm not not to discourage
- 7:20from him particularly, but just, you know, temporary
- 7:22expectations. Yeah, absolutely.
- 7:24Yeah, for sure. Then you've got J Peterka, Line
- 7:28One power play 1, three games. Yeah, he's pretty streaky.
- 7:32He's been a bit quiet lately, but he's kept that deployment
- 7:35for like months now, and Buffalo is gonna score goals and he's a
- 7:38good player, good prospect. So I've been wanting to pick him
- 7:41up for a while. Yep, love this next one
- 7:45personally. Jonathan Drouin line one power
- 7:48play 1 he in my. Opinion is heating up.
- 7:52Is yeah, he's a hold for for the foreseeable future.
- 7:54When the chicken gets back you gotta monitor how those lines.
- 7:57If he ever comes back. Yeah, seriously, it's crazy.
- 8:00But right now he's been doing super well with McKinnon, so I
- 8:03think he's definitely a guy to hold for this week and.
- 8:06It's just crazy that he's lined 1P1.
- 8:09He's killing it right now. He's only 30% owned.
- 8:11That means he's available in 70% of leagues.
- 8:13Like you guys need to hop on this.
- 8:16I know he can be, he can be streaky and he can be hurt a
- 8:18lot, but when he's firing on all cylinders like this, like you
- 8:21need to roster him. Yeah, absolutely.
- 8:24Then you got Brayden Schenn, Line one power play, 1, three
- 8:27games. Kind of similar to Blake
- 8:29Coleman. He's a banger League stud, but
- 8:32his points have been amazing lately and he's only 27% owned.
- 8:36I think this number is going to go up pretty pretty quickly.
- 8:39Yep, he's he's a great. Yeah, yeah, he should be owned
- 8:43already in most. In bangers league he for sure
- 8:46should be owned because he's one of those guys that contributes
- 8:48like shots, hits, face offs and I was getting points too like
- 8:51he's hitting like a mini Boone Jenner better than Jenner Jenner
- 8:55used to be sorry. Yeah.
- 8:58Sad Anyway yeah then he got Nick Schmaltz line one power play one
- 9:05been great for points lately and only 26% owned.
- 9:09I mean, I think I think you could pick him up like and have
- 9:12a good week tickets. With the new deployment, I
- 9:15actually really, really like Nick Schmaltz, so as long as
- 9:18Dylan Gunthers out, he can be a mainstay on your roster,
- 9:21especially in those deeper formats.
- 9:23We've been recommending him for weeks at this.
- 9:25Point there's only 26% owned. Yeah, clearly no one's listening
- 9:28to us. Dylan Strome so.
- 9:31We're doing. We did.
- 9:34Yeah, then he got Adam Fantilli line one, power play one.
- 9:37She's got three games for this. You gotta keep an eye out for
- 9:39where Monahan slots if he comes back.
- 9:42But I actually think that even if Monahan comes back line 1, I
- 9:46wouldn't just drop Chantilly right away.
- 9:48Here's a high pick. He's been doing super well, so I
- 9:51think that this can be like a really nice turning point for
- 9:53him in the season and overall in his.
- 9:54Career, I mean the top six has talent overall, right?
- 9:57So even if he ends up being lined 2C like he can still be
- 9:59productive. I think the main thing is just
- 10:02keep an eye on Monahan. If Monahan does come back for
- 10:05you, you know, stream for the week, then maybe hesitant and
- 10:07maybe pick up one of these other options we're mentioning.
- 10:09But or else I'm thrilled to have family on my roster because as
- 10:12long as I'm on hand is out, he's like a really good guy to have.
- 10:15Yeah, I will say, like, I, I agree with Jackie that he's not
- 10:18like an immediate drop when Monheim comes back, but I think
- 10:20it's a huge hit to, to, to him when Monahan comes back.
- 10:24Cause I don't think there's any way that Monahan doesn't take
- 10:26back his line one power play one with just how amazing of a
- 10:29season he's been having and anyone getting to play on that
- 10:32top line and power play unit, you know, with Marchenko and
- 10:35with Werenski, that's just such huge deployment.
- 10:38So I think Chantilly's a great player in his own right, but it
- 10:41might be, you know, the Monahan coming back could be a massive L
- 10:45for him. Yeah, then you got Darren
- 10:48Reddish. He's a defenseman on Tampa Bay
- 10:51line, One power play, 2 tapas right now, doing A1A1B on their
- 10:56power play, and he's benefited tremendously from this.
- 10:59That one be, by the way, has Brayden Point and Cooch and
- 11:03Gensel. So I mean, they've got a ton of
- 11:06offensive star power and I think he's a really good guy to pick
- 11:09up right now. Yeah, I mean, they're kind of
- 11:13splitting the the power playlist.
- 11:15So I think as long as he's getting that kind of exposure
- 11:18there to guys like Kucherov and Gensel, like you have to roster
- 11:22him. And plus there's not many
- 11:23defensemen that are putting up his kind of points recently.
- 11:25So I'd ride the hot hand. Yeah, he's a great pickup.
- 11:31Then you've got Cappo, Kraken, Line, Line 1, Power Play 2.
- 11:37But he's got four games. And really, he's been so good
- 11:40lately. He's just showing New York
- 11:41Rangers how bad they are developing players.
- 11:43Yeah, like he's been great. This was such a steal for
- 11:46Seattle I think. Yeah, he went from crapo Caco to
- 11:50Capo crackin. Nice.
- 11:53Really. You've said that before.
- 11:54We're gonna keep saying it every time we mentioned Gobble Gago.
- 12:00Yeah. And then sticking with Seattle,
- 12:01you got Jaden Schwartz, line one power play one, really nice
- 12:05pickup as well for this week. Yeah, note with these Seattle
- 12:08guys, two of their games this week are against Anaheim and San
- 12:11Jose, and both games are at home, so I like those matchups a
- 12:14lot. Yeah, for sure.
- 12:17Then he got Mason, Lori, Line 3 defensemen, so whatever.
- 12:21But power play one, That's the important thing on the Boston
- 12:24Bruins. He's only 12% owned and as long
- 12:27as he keeps up power play one spot he should be rostered
- 12:30higher I think. Yeah, I grabbed him.
- 12:33He's decent enough for perhaps, I think he shoots a decent
- 12:36amount and gets good blocks and Pastor next heating up.
- 12:39So it's a really good time to pick him up until McAvoy comes
- 12:43back. And even then, depending on how
- 12:45well he does with McAvoy out, he might actually keep that spot.
- 12:47Yeah, I wouldn't expect any hits from him at all.
- 12:49So he really picking this up for the shots and the power play
- 12:51exposure and the points upside given that Boston scoring a
- 12:54little bit more goals. But listen, there's not many
- 12:57defence when you can stream for points on a weekly basis.
- 13:00So whenever there are some like he's 12% owned, you got to look
- 13:02at it. Yep.
- 13:05Then you've got Tyler Bertuzzi, who has line one power play one
- 13:09on the Blackhawks. Obviously they're not such a
- 13:11great team, but they've been wanting to make someone work
- 13:15with Bidard and he seems to be sticking around there, pulling a
- 13:17three points per game last month, 2.17 shots and .92 hits.
- 13:22Like this is really good production and both points and
- 13:24bangers league. So yeah, and his minutes have
- 13:27been very good too. I mean, I like it for this week.
- 13:30Yeah, I would say more points than than shots for him.
- 13:33Like his, his shots can be good, but I don't think he's known
- 13:36like for some reason he's not shooting as much as you would
- 13:38expect. I guess like his shots usually
- 13:40tend to be over like just at 2:00 right below.
- 13:44But his points upside with Bidart is is pretty nuts.
- 13:48Yeah, I work out at 11. Percent.
- 13:50I will say that I like him a lot.
- 13:51He's been doing really well lately, but they do have tough
- 13:54matchups. This week they're playing
- 13:55against Tampa Carolina and Florida and all those games are
- 13:58away, so just something to keep in mind if you need to come.
- 14:01Up. That's a good call actually.
- 14:03Hmm, yeah. And then uh, yeah, these next
- 14:06few guys, these are they're actually all rostered in less
- 14:09than 5% of leagues. So it's really if you're in a
- 14:12pinch to start off, you got Matt Coronado line 2 power play one
- 14:16on Calgary. He's still putting up big
- 14:18minutes and solid shots on goal and with a four-game week, I
- 14:21think that's you could do worse than picking him up.
- 14:24So yeah, if you're in a really deep league, I think he's a good
- 14:27roster able guy. Then next we got Noah Cates,
- 14:33line 3 power play 2 four games. We spoke in a previous episode
- 14:37about this guy and like, I mean Tortorella's offence, you never
- 14:40know, but he's been really, really good.
- 14:42So I don't know if you guys. Have any?
- 14:45He's a left wing. He's a left wing eligible guy
- 14:47that's getting face off with. So that's the first thing to
- 14:49keep into account. Given his 4% rosters, was gonna
- 14:53be eligible for those eligible gonna be available for a lot of
- 14:56those really, really deep leagues that maybe have more
- 15:00categories. But he's scoring a lot of goals.
- 15:02The thing is his linemates are not the best and getting P2
- 15:06exposure. So I think that maybe his
- 15:10production isn't the most reliable, but while he's hot, I
- 15:14mean he's hot. So I still like a lot of these
- 15:16other guys that are in this kind of range of roster percentage.
- 15:19I like them more than than Kates, but he's a name to
- 15:21definitely bring up. If you're in a really deep
- 15:24league, options are limited. Yeah, I agree.
- 15:27Yeah, then you've got Jack Quinn, Line 3, Power Play 1,
- 15:32three games. What do you laughing about?
- 15:34Huh. Just you know, I like the
- 15:37enunciation that you make sure to separate the first and last
- 15:39name. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 15:41Sometimes. Why?
- 15:42What would happen if you didn't separate them?
- 15:45Sometimes when he doesn't play, what is he doing?
- 15:47Jack went off. But like, yeah, I, I think
- 15:54that's a lot saying is, you know.
- 15:58We're all about pushing boundaries here.
- 15:59Yeah. But also there are like him and
- 16:04Coronado similar story. They accept Coronado's got
- 16:06better minutes, but Jack Quinn is he seems to be a mainstay on
- 16:11the power play one for the past few weeks.
- 16:12So if he could stay there, it's pretty good.
- 16:14Sticking with Buffalo, you got Yuri Coolidge, who is actually
- 16:17only 1% roster line, one power play 2.
- 16:21This is exciting to me because he's playing with Tage Thompson
- 16:24and his past two games since he's had the opportunity to do
- 16:27so, he's been a monster. So I really like this.
- 16:30I don't know about you guys. It's definitely a dart you gotta
- 16:34throw because if the deployment sticks, he's going to be
- 16:38valuable for fantasy. Like maybe he's not gonna be
- 16:40like a stud. Maybe he ends up being like a
- 16:42like a Marco Rossi type of player.
- 16:44But I mean, if you're playing with Tage on line 1 and he's
- 16:46getting a lot of minutes, like you have to take A chance on
- 16:48this guy for and it really deep league and waivers are scarce.
- 16:52You don't really get an opportunity to pick up a guy
- 16:53that's gonna be Line 1 centre. So yeah, I'm looking.
- 16:57I was looking at his like picking him up also but he got
- 17:00snagged in our league super quickly.
- 17:02In my match up, my opponent picked him.
- 17:04Up. Yeah, he's got like two games
- 17:05under his belt with this new deployment and one of them he
- 17:09got three points, which is crazy.
- 17:12But his backups were really solid for both you shooting,
- 17:14hitting and winning faceoffs. So I like it a lot as an option,
- 17:17but for me it was more of a keep on the watch list until the end
- 17:20of the week and see if that's something worth picking up.
- 17:22But obviously in some leagues it's the waiver wire, super
- 17:25aggressive and intense, so you gotta jump on it before someone
- 17:28else does. Yeah, definitely.
- 17:30Just make sure that he's still on that line 1.
- 17:32Before hand, because I think McCloud is her.
- 17:35Yeah, exactly. So whenever Mccloud's healthy,
- 17:37you might going back in there. Yeah, yeah.
- 17:40But as things stand, I like it a lot.
- 17:42And you know, as things stand, I like this guy a lot too.
- 17:45Jordan Spence, line 2 power play one.
- 17:47He's also 1% super deep. I just wanted to give you guys
- 17:50an option at defenseman. It's a really good opportunity
- 17:53for him at power play one because, you know, like right
- 17:58now Brian Clark is a right wing. So that's fun and dowdy.
- 18:03Still not back when daddy's back, which may happen this
- 18:05week. You know, it's obviously just
- 18:09spends is going to be useful, but if he's not back yet then I
- 18:12do like Spence. So just something to keep an eye
- 18:15on. Yeah, I do expect dowdy be back.
- 18:18They said that he there's the non contact sweater.
- 18:20So he's he's playing full contact in practice and he's
- 18:23joining them on their like Rd. trips and stuff.
- 18:25So I would expect him to be back sometime this week.
- 18:28But you know, if you can get a game or two out of Spence P1
- 18:30then then it could be valuable for a.
- 18:31Short game week. Exactly.
- 18:34So I do like it. But anyway, just a really deep
- 18:38option. So let's move on to some Bangor,
- 18:41some banker guys. Yeah, alright, so here's some
- 18:44bangers that we've got. Here's what their last 30 days
- 18:47average for stats. There's Ivan Barbashev line one
- 18:50power play 2. He's got 2.1, seven hits and
- 18:531.17 blocks and that line 1 is elite and if he stays there,
- 18:57he'll have offensive opportunities.
- 18:58He, I will say that he's been pretty weak lately in terms of
- 19:01points, but you know, at the beginning of the season that
- 19:04line was on fire. And with that coupled that
- 19:07potential coupled with his back and makes him a really
- 19:09interesting option. You just got to monitor who's on
- 19:12the line because if it's Durfey or all of Sin or whoever else,
- 19:15then like obviously his points upside, it gets greatly
- 19:18diminished. But I mean, he's a banger
- 19:20streamer for this upcoming week, three games and he's hitting a
- 19:23lot. So hitting and blocking from a
- 19:24forward position is nice. Then you've got Elias Lindholm,
- 19:28line 3 power play, one on Boston, 1.7 shots, 10 faceoff
- 19:32wins, 1.6 hits, 1.5 blocks. He's kind of like a great guy to
- 19:37just, you know, touch all bid on all those back cats and be elite
- 19:40for faceoff wins. And again, that power play on
- 19:42exposure gives him the potential to get points in addition to
- 19:44those backpacks. Yep.
- 19:48The the line 3, I don't know if it's going to be a consistent
- 19:51thing. I think they're just trying Matt
- 19:52Patton online 2 and Marshan, but I'd expect Lindholm to end up
- 19:57back in the top six. But for the moment, I mean in
- 20:00terms of a pure C being a banger streamer, like there's not many
- 20:03guys that have been as consistent as him the whole
- 20:05season. This next guy is Jake's
- 20:09favorite. He makes sure to include him
- 20:11every week. We've got a Will Cooley.
- 20:14He's got 2.3 shots on goal, 3.5 hits, and he chips on points.
- 20:18He got his first power play goal of his career this week against
- 20:21me. Isn't that fun?
- 20:25You sound enthused, Jake. We need to celebrate this.
- 20:28Yeah. I mean he was pretty dry for
- 20:30points for a while to be honest. Yeah, but now he's on the second
- 20:34line over Crowder, which is exciting.
- 20:36He's playing with a Banjo D, which is, I did not expect this,
- 20:40to be honest, even though traders sucked.
- 20:42But yeah, Coolies now has that opportunity and he's centering
- 20:45the second power play. Yeah, it's it's nice to see as a
- 20:49Cooley owner and I got pretty close to dropping him if I'm
- 20:52being. Honest, like yeah, yeah, no
- 20:53points for a month. Yeah, but he's back now.
- 20:56Thank you. John so glad he didn't.
- 21:00Yeah. Alright, moving on.
- 21:04Thank God we've got Jake Neighbors line 2 power play, one
- 21:09he's got in the last month .3 power play points, 1.3 shots,
- 21:132.3 hits and a block. That's really solid for both
- 21:15points and back cats. The Saint Louis Blues have been
- 21:19kind of like weird lately with their power play units and their
- 21:21top 6 lines at top six. Like top 2 lines, they've been
- 21:26shuffling it around a lot, but they've all been pretty
- 21:28productive. Yeah, and I like neighbors for
- 21:32reliability in the back categories.
- 21:34Yeah. The thing neighbors though is
- 21:36that I think his peak value comes from being on that P1.
- 21:41So you just got to monitor because they do bump him on and
- 21:44off of that. But now that they're splitting,
- 21:45like you said, Josh a little bit that he's always playing with
- 21:48some good quality guys, even if he's not on like the quote UN
- 21:50quote main unit. Yeah, let me just say the next
- 21:53one and then I'll let you finish.
- 21:54These off. So then we got Jordan Stall
- 21:58three games this week. He's also known as the best sell
- 22:02high ever if you didn't listen to Buy Low, Sell High from last
- 22:05week. I don't know we're talking
- 22:06about. Yeah, he's he's the goat, but
- 22:09yeah, he's line three, 2.5, seven hits, .71 blocks and over
- 22:14the last 30 days .79 points per game.
- 22:18Teehee. I was wondering if we're gonna
- 22:20save the team here. I had to.
- 22:23It was put there for a reason. Can't forget to see this.
- 22:30He's you really didn't want to forget?
- 22:36Yeah, yeah. So Jordan Teehee stall,
- 22:39Honestly, I mean, he was playing with Fashion Call for awhile,
- 22:43doesn't seem to be playing with him right now.
- 22:44But you know, it's it's the points are not reliable, but the
- 22:48back cats are very good. And that's why I like him.
- 22:50If he does get you points, great.
- 22:52That's what we're trying to give you points and like Bangor cats
- 22:54primarily, but with some other upside.
- 22:57But yeah, this is a strictly Bangor category recommendation.
- 23:00So yeah. Yeah, next we've got Matthew
- 23:04Olivier on Columbus. He averages 2 Pimms, 3.5 hits,
- 23:081.3 blocks, and he got his shorthanded point this week.
- 23:11So he's he's been pretty solid this year in terms of things.
- 23:15I wish I had never dropped him. Honestly I miss him everyday.
- 23:18I mean, he's only 15% owned and I feel like he's like the he's
- 23:21the best banger streamer on a weekly basis to pick up.
- 23:24So she's like every week. Literally, I mean, listen, we
- 23:27have to put his name out there for if we got new listeners or
- 23:29whatever. Make sure that if you need a
- 23:31bigger, he's probably one of the first guys you need to look at
- 23:34because there's not many better guys in the league.
- 23:37Sorry, my voice just died on me. That's OK, Motional.
- 23:42About material Olivia knows, actually.
- 23:45The tea that really got me. Yeah, and the notes here, it
- 23:50says tear up about the tea. Supposed to be like that.
- 23:58Alright, next we've got Martin Pospisil.
- 24:01Every time I see his name it just makes me think of like piss
- 24:03missile, you know, and like someone like really like.
- 24:06Sniper. I think of popsicle, but that's
- 24:08just me. I guess there's two types of
- 24:10people in this world, but uh yeah, he's got four games this
- 24:14week, averages 1.36 Pimms, 3.8 two hits.
- 24:17I know he's been hovering around like top five in hits on the
- 24:20season. So he's definitely a good pure
- 24:23hits guy with some Pimms. Not that much points upside, but
- 24:26I think he's been playing on line one for a bit.
- 24:27So that's that's definitely interesting.
- 24:31And then we've got Mason Mctavish who got a goal this
- 24:34week against me and I'm over it and he's averaging 2.7 shots and
- 24:391.21 hits and also thrown in some face off wins.
- 24:43Solid on the Ducks. And last but not least, we've
- 24:47got Don't Call My Name. Don't Call My Name Ryan Donato.
- 24:53There's nobody more fun in the league to talk about.
- 24:55Yeah, yeah, Line 4 power play one, he's averaging 2.17 shots
- 25:00and two hits, which is what we like to call a double, double.
- 25:04Yep, he he's. I feel like he could be so much
- 25:06better if he wasn't like stuck on line 4 for whatever.
- 25:09Like when was the last time you have a line four guy on PP1?
- 25:12It just makes no sense. Like playing with better
- 25:14linemates. I don't know.
- 25:15It's like a classic like rod move.
- 25:18Except rows, not his coach so. I know.
- 25:23Yeah. Alright, let's get into goalies.
- 25:25Alright, so for goalies this week we've got 3 streamers for
- 25:28you that are gonna get at least two starts.
- 25:30So these are our quantity guys, but also hopefully quality.
- 25:34We've got Sam Ursin who won his last five games.
- 25:36What? Is that true?
- 25:38Yep. That's wild.
- 25:43Sam T Ursin is one. His last five games he's
- 25:46playing. They're playing New Jersey
- 25:48twice, then the Islanders and Colorado.
- 25:50So the only one of those that's like an easy matchup would be
- 25:53the Islanders. The other three are rough.
- 25:55But I mean, if he's winning, he's winning and he's going to
- 25:57get you quantity for sure. So that's definitely a good one.
- 26:00Yeah, I will say that one of his last victories came against the
- 26:05the Devils. OK nice.
- 26:07Damn, How many? How often are they playing the
- 26:08Devils? I don't know.
- 26:10It's a good point, actually. It seems like a really wild
- 26:13stretch, but like he's beaten Florida, the Devils in Detroit
- 26:17over this stretch. I.
- 26:19Mean he's been. Super good, so that's why.
- 26:21Yeah, he's a big reason why Philly still in the mix for that
- 26:24wild card spot. We've got Jake Allen, who we
- 26:28mentioned in our news episode this week, but Markstrom is
- 26:31injured for a while, so Alan becomes a must pick up.
- 26:34He'll definitely get you to, if not all three starts this week.
- 26:37And they're playing Philly twice in Buffalo, which are really
- 26:39nice matchups. It would have been hilarious if
- 26:42we were like, Person plays in New Jersey twice, He has great
- 26:45matchups. And then Jake Allen plays Philly
- 26:47twice. He has a great matchup, but
- 26:53yeah, I think Allen 17% owned, he's going to probably shoot up
- 26:56to 30 or 40% in the by the time listening to it might be 30 or
- 27:0040%. So keep an eye out for that.
- 27:02But mushrooms hurt like he's the main guy there.
- 27:04Like he can be a main hold on your roster if you need a
- 27:07goalie. Yeah, and the matches are great
- 27:09this week, so. Yeah.
- 27:11And then lastly, we've got Alex and Delkevic.
- 27:14I think we can all officially say goodbye to Tristan Jarry.
- 27:19Buster. Yeah.
- 27:21Getting kidding? Yeah.
- 27:24Yeah, but I think that that is clearly the starter in
- 27:26Pittsburgh and they're gonna get San Jose, Utah, Nashville.
- 27:29That's a really nice schedule, actually.
- 27:30And he should get 2, if not three of those starts.
- 27:33Yeah, I, I, I like him for this week.
- 27:36Who's your favorite of these three?
- 27:38It's gotta be Alan because of the the long term potential with
- 27:41Markstrom out. Yep.
- 27:43Fair. Yeah, Allen as well.
- 27:46Yeah, cool. And right.
- 27:47And then lastly, we've got the quality starts.
- 27:50So these are guys who are gonna start probably just once, maybe
- 27:53more, but we're counting on just one.
- 27:54But it should be against a solid team.
- 27:56So we've got Spencer Knight. The back-to-back is Chicago or
- 28:00Islanders. So both of those are easy
- 28:02matchups for Florida. Even though Florida has been
- 28:04slumping a bit, I still like those.
- 28:07We've got Yakub Dobish on the Habs.
- 28:10There's no back-to-back, but the Habs have been playing him
- 28:13intermittently with the Montalbo, so he doesn't need a
- 28:16back-to-back to get a start. And this man does not know how
- 28:19to lose. What is he, five?
- 28:20And oh. No, I think he's Latvian, does
- 28:22that's what he is. Yeah, they're playing The Jets,
- 28:28the Wild and the Ducks. Obviously the Ducks are much
- 28:31easier than the other two, but he's just been so good.
- 28:34And I mean, at the end of the day, like nobody believed in
- 28:38Andrew Hammond that year. And yeah, here.
- 28:40We are, you know, so it's, I saw that comparison.
- 28:43I'm like, yeah, it makes a lot of sense.
- 28:46Do you guys know where he's from?
- 28:49Don't know actually. Dashno.
- 28:52I am looking it up as we. Speak.
- 28:54Well, I have the answer. I'll just from check here.
- 28:58Nice. Which is another language we
- 29:00should maybe dabble in. Yeah.
- 29:02Yeah. Status as I just checked these
- 29:03from check yeah. Thanks for your reasonable
- 29:07reporting time, Josh. Yeah.
- 29:10But I mean, obviously it's a risk without any back to backs,
- 29:12but they're gonna give him one of these based on the way things
- 29:15are, yeah. So I'd be very surprised if they
- 29:17don't. And you said the matchups and
- 29:19even though the non Anaheim ones are hard, some of his wins in
- 29:22this like crazy 5 game win streak that he started his
- 29:24career with have all been again, some of them have been against
- 29:26really tough teams. So it's not like that's.
- 29:29Yeah, I wouldn't shy away from the tough matchups.
- 29:30Yeah, exactly. Yeah.
- 29:32And then lastly, but not leastly, we've got a French
- 29:36noted Frenchman, Alex Leon. And he's gonna.
- 29:39Be so proud, he said, that. He's gonna play either a Calgary
- 29:44or Vancouver, which are both decently good matchups.
- 29:47Yep, just make sure you wait to see which matchup or which day
- 29:51he's playing before you pick him up.
- 29:53I saw somebody in our league honestly like last week.
- 29:55I don't know if you guys caught that, but there.
- 29:57Was picked up, Alan. Yeah.
- 29:59There was a back-to-back on Saturday, Sunday, and the person
- 30:02picked up Jake Allen for the Sunday even though he had
- 30:04already played on the Saturday. So you don't want to make that
- 30:06mistake. And then he dropped Jake Allen.
- 30:07Markstrom got hurt, right? After SO.
- 30:10It was it was terrible timing for that fantasy manager, but
- 30:14but. Oh, there's other news.
- 30:17We have opening spot next year. Definitely dropping now so I.
- 30:23Thought you meant mine because of how terribly this week is
- 30:26going. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 30:28We, we, we, we played this game before.
- 30:30Ohe God. But yeah.
- 30:32Cool. So that wraps it up for this
- 30:36week, for our Week 17 streamers. Thank you to everybody for
- 30:40joining us. Josh, what are you doing?
- 30:43Sorry. Why are you getting so
- 30:46distracted, Jake? It's like all over the place.
- 30:49I just get really fidgety. Wow.
- 30:52OK. Thank you to everybody for
- 30:53joining us. If you enjoy it, my gosh, stop.
- 30:56It now just. This is, this is, this is gonna
