- 0:31Speaker 1: Oh, she's freezing.
- 0:34Speaker 1: I've had problems with my computer.
- 0:36Speaker 1: The joy of live video.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Say hello, michelle.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Hello Teresa, thanks for having me.
- 0:42Speaker 1: And listen.
- 0:43Speaker 1: This is really fun, because I used to live in Spokane, washington, and Michelle lives just.
- 0:50Speaker 1: I think it's a stone's throw over the border into Idaho, into one of the most beautiful places, cortalene, idaho.
- 0:58Speaker 1: So that's not the reason we're joining together.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Listen, y'all, I've got someone that has an amazing story.
- 1:04Speaker 1: If you're looking, maybe, to really maximize what you know is in your heart, and it might mean saying bye, bye to a cushy job and hello into God's design this woman has the story and let me tell you what.
- 1:18Speaker 1: She's got some breakthrough, she's got a testimony and Michelle in the Bible, testimony means do it again.
- 1:25Speaker 1: So first of all, will you please help me welcome Michelle Tufford.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Thank you so much, teresa.
- 1:32Speaker 1: I'm so excited to have you.
- 1:33Speaker 1: So, michelle, you had a journey I think we'll just focus on.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Let's just share what how God led you through different positions up to that defining moment.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Can you share a little bit with that?
- 1:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I'd be happy to.
- 1:47Speaker 2: So I've always been an entrepreneur at heart, from the time I was a little girl.
- 1:53Speaker 2: I loved and this might age me just a little bit, but the babysitter club books.
- 1:57Speaker 2: I loved those when I was a kid and I dreamed of like having this whole agency and anyway.
- 2:04Speaker 2: So God put it on my heart from a young age that just like leadership and entrepreneurship.
- 2:09Speaker 2: And I'm one of 10 children that's another fun fact about being a second oldest family of 10.
- 2:15Speaker 2: So I grew up being a leader.
- 2:16Speaker 2: I had responsibility from a young age and so you know I had multiple jobs in high school and all the things right.
- 2:23Speaker 2: I paid for for everything for myself because my parents didn't have a lot and there were 10 of us.
- 2:28Speaker 2: So I worked really hard and that hard work really just like played into my adult life of just a very driven personality and so when it was time to have our children, after seven years, my husband and I being married, we decided to have kids and I knew that the corporate way really wasn't it Like I was actually working for another, my cousin, who owned a dot com business.
- 2:53Speaker 2: It was when that whole thing blew up and I loved helping him like, take that business to the top and we were doing well and I was getting paid really well.
- 3:00Speaker 2: But again, corporate work just wasn't what I wanted for my family.
- 3:04Speaker 2: So I knew I needed to transition out of that.
- 3:07Speaker 2: So I actually got into fitness coaching and health coaching and love that.
- 3:12Speaker 2: I love working out.
- 3:13Speaker 2: That is another thing in me that I just love, you know, being able to push myself and doing hard things.
- 3:18Speaker 2: And then I owned a meal prep business for a while.
- 3:22Speaker 2: But all of that just like wasn't it, wasn't it.
- 3:26Speaker 2: I saw the online space and saw the freedom that people were experiencing there and I knew, like, wow, like that's the space I need to get into if I want uncapped income and I want to be able to have that freedom for my family.
- 3:37Speaker 2: So I got in, got into the space and started with a makeup company which is funny because I'm a little bit of a tomboy but I saw how much money she was making and she was just showing up and creating video online and talking about how she was with her kids and leveraging social media.
- 3:55Speaker 2: I thought, wow, like that's, that seems like something that I could do, like she needed to look so easy.
- 4:01Speaker 2: So I got in, quickly realized that I needed some training in this space of social media marketing, learning how to brand myself, and so I got in and I invested, purchased coaching, spent some money right, got around some circles of people who are seeing success and I picked up.
- 4:21Speaker 2: I picked up on it pretty quickly because I realized successfully it was clues.
- 4:25Speaker 2: I was like I just need to do what these people are doing in my own way and I really got caught in it.
- 4:30Speaker 2: I got caught in it so much that actually was able to grow and build two very successful businesses.
- 4:35Speaker 2: I built a coaching program, ended up teaching people how to leverage social media marketing and attraction marketing.
- 4:41Speaker 2: So I built a coaching program around that.
- 4:43Speaker 2: I also had another business in the high ticket space of network marketing.
- 4:48Speaker 2: I was selling water machines and really promoting.
- 4:52Speaker 2: I did, yeah, and I was promoting this lifestyle of making really good money online and that really selling the selling the idea that you could come and make money fast, because that was like something that I came in and did and I was telling people they could do that too.
- 5:09Speaker 1: And I realized I think you left us a clue there To interrupt someone listening.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Michelle didn't recreate the wheel, she followed.
- 5:21Speaker 1: I like to think of it as you can follow, you do invest.
- 5:24Speaker 1: That is so.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Your invested kingdom is investing in yourself, but it sounds like you Followed some crumbs of other people.
- 5:33Speaker 1: So you're not recreating the wheel, you're just doing the wheel that's branded by you, michelle, is that correct?
- 5:40Speaker 1: Exactly so.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Did you get burned out on those two or what?
- 5:45Speaker 1: So what I ended up?
- 5:48Speaker 2: being is like I was making good money, ended up retiring my husband out of police work.
- 5:52Speaker 2: He worked in the.
- 5:53Speaker 2: He was a police officer for 14 years.
- 5:55Speaker 2: He was able to quit his job because we're making such good money from the businesses I and I got to use that.
- 6:01Speaker 2: I like I look back and I think, wow, I'm not like so good to use that and getting to see my husband come back to life.
- 6:06Speaker 2: He, that was such a Tough job, was right in the time of COVID and when you know, police officers were getting really hit hard, yeah, and so it was taking a toll on my husband and I wanted to give him the ability to have the option to walk away, because he's yeah, I'm not stuck right.
- 6:24Speaker 2: You you get into a career, you're told you work extra of years to retire, and he was.
- 6:30Speaker 2: He just was looking at that and thinking, wow, like do I really have another 20 years to give to this?
- 6:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I wanted to give him an option to be able to walk away.
- 6:40Speaker 2: So he did.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Thankfully he was able to quit his job huge blessing.
- 6:43Speaker 2: But shortly after he quit his job was when I was hit really hard with pressure from the enemy.
- 6:51Speaker 2: So much of Anxiety.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I took on this like burden of now it's all up to me.
- 7:00Speaker 2: I believed this live.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Now it's all up to me.
- 7:03Speaker 2: And then I'm gonna fail like I just had this weight on my shoulder, Like I was gonna let everyone down.
- 7:09Speaker 1: It was like the warfare started.
- 7:11Speaker 1: I mentioned this to Michelle Schaefer yesterday.
- 7:14Speaker 1: I said and you can chime in on this Making money is spiritual warfare.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Not to give the enemy credit.
- 7:23Speaker 1: I can take that in.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Someone needs to hear that it's warfare, because the enemy knows you're gonna use the money for the right things, you're not gonna be going off to certain places and your money is going to impact not just your family but those around you.
- 7:41Speaker 1: So so you were really feeling the warfare.
- 7:45Speaker 2: I was feeling the warfare and also Recognizing the Lord was so good in that season to tell me that he had given me this anointing for Forliness and for seeing the success he given me this anointing, but that I had gotten out of alignment with his heart and his direction to me and then I'd gone ahead.
- 8:07Speaker 2: That I'd gone ahead not walking hand-in-hand with him and that's why I was experiencing the stress, anxiety because I had taken money and put in it at Lordship of my life.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Sure, who can understand that you retire your husband and then it as a woman that is that is hits.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Excuse me, I someone may really throw a rock at me, but as a woman that is difficult because I don't know if.
- 8:31Speaker 1: I mean I know many people retire their husbands with all of a sudden that puts a weight on you that, if you're not submitted to the Lord, that Weight can just is that right.
- 8:40Speaker 2: You just crush you that it was where I was that, but the Lord used that to draw me in to him.
- 8:46Speaker 2: I love it in such a beautiful way.
- 8:48Speaker 2: So the first thing you told me he said you need to surround yourself with.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Kingdom women, wow, other Kingdom women who've been anointed for business.
- 8:57Speaker 2: You need to be surrounded them.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Yeah, so you had to make a decision.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Tell us about was it just a year ago or was it a little more than a year ago?
- 9:07Speaker 1: To the world, they're thinking you are so crazy, but you were so right on because you were listening to Lord.
- 9:16Speaker 1: You were walking in your anointing.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Oh, I love this story.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Tell us about this, yeah so I was, you know.
- 9:22Speaker 2: In that I knew I need to be surrounded by Kingdom women who were anointed for business, so I was led to girl power lines.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Okay, michelle Schaefer, the founder of girl power lines I know you just interviewed her on your podcast, but I got on a call with her a year ago, june of 2022.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Got on a call with Schaefer and it was like instantly in my spirit, the Lord is like this is who I'm talking about, women like this.
- 9:47Speaker 2: So I wasn't sure exactly what it was gonna look like, other than I knew I needed to be a part of what it is she was doing, and so I said yes.
- 9:55Speaker 2: I got involved into girl power lines and started to go through some of the resources.
- 9:59Speaker 2: I signed up for their radiant leadership Academy and Rating leadership Academy rocked my world and, the best way possible just completely wrecked me and Helped me really start to see what it looks like to partner with God and trust God in all areas of my life and Surrender surrender fully to him.
- 10:19Speaker 2: And so I started to learn how to do that, and I started realizing that God was actually asking me To go all in with girl power lines, which, wow, meant the Lord is also asking me to let go of the coaching program I built and the other business, the network marketing business that I was a part of.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Both of those businesses were the income for our family at the time.
- 10:42Speaker 2: So when I felt like the Lord is asking me to walk away from that and start all over with girl power lines at first I really just told the Lord he was crazy, like really.
- 10:52Speaker 2: I mean I just was like, oh, are you crazy?
- 10:53Speaker 2: Like how am I gonna be able to?
- 10:56Speaker 2: You know how that work.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Yeah, so I Drag my feet and I was scared.
- 11:02Speaker 2: I was so scared.
- 11:04Speaker 2: But it's where God was leading me and I was scared to tell my husband this too, because, like he literally just quit his job.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Like this is crazy.
- 11:12Speaker 2: But at activate, so their very first convention, so September 2022.
- 11:18Speaker 2: So, after being there for a few months, I was leading into activate and I told the Lord.
- 11:23Speaker 2: I said, like I feel like this is where you're calling me, you're asking me to walk away from these things, but I'm scared and I just need you to make it really clear for me.
- 11:30Speaker 2: I want to be obedient, but I'm scared.
- 11:33Speaker 2: I need to be really clear for me when I go to this event.
- 11:35Speaker 2: So had some good conversations, activate, particularly with Molly she's one of the co-founders of girl power lines and I Felt at activate I was sitting and just listening and I felt the largest came into my mind and he asked me just a very clear question.
- 11:55Speaker 2: He said why are you so afraid to impact thousands of women?
- 12:00Speaker 2: For me, what a question, yeah right, like I still makes me emotional because it like oh it makes me emotional.
- 12:08Speaker 2: And I mean like realize.
- 12:09Speaker 2: I was like wow, like, here I am.
- 12:11Speaker 2: You know, of course God cares about my provision for our family, yeah, but it made me realize how, like, what really matters, like what really matters at the end of the day, and what a success actually look like.
- 12:24Speaker 2: So I sat in it and again I was like Lord, yes, like if that's what you want me to do, like I want that, but I'm also scared.
- 12:33Speaker 2: I'm like you know, how am I gonna be able to replace the income and how I and I even question my ability To bring in the volume and the people needed to do that.
- 12:43Speaker 2: And I and I said, lord, like I guess I want to do that, but I don't think I can.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Okay, I told him like I don't think I can in the time frame that needs to happen.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Right, it just didn't possible, didn't seem reasonable.
- 12:55Speaker 2: And the Lord, he confirmed that to me.
- 12:57Speaker 2: He said you're right.
- 12:58Speaker 2: And he like I felt like it was like he sat in that for a moment of like you're right, and I'm like okay, like right.
- 13:06Speaker 2: But then he said, but watch what I can do.
- 13:09Speaker 2: And so then I sat in that and it hit me.
- 13:14Speaker 2: I was like so emotional, I was emotional wreck the whole weekend, but it made me realize.
- 13:18Speaker 2: I was like, wow, god, yes, like I just need to learn how to trust you.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Wow, all God asks from us is our yes.
- 13:24Speaker 2: That's it, that's the obedience, and he's got outcome.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Yeah, that's testimony.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Come on, that's testimony for me because at Activate I Activate is a conference, y'all that Girl Power Alliance has.
- 13:41Speaker 1: We're talking about Girl Power Alliance.
- 13:42Speaker 1: It's all about personal and leadership development.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Michelle could tell you more about that, but that's what we're talking about.
- 13:49Speaker 1: I like the phrase that it's like a virtual franchise.
- 13:53Speaker 1: It has the personal development, the leadership development, and then it has I call it an arm to make money.
- 13:59Speaker 1: And this is we're hitting spiritual warfare right in the gut.
- 14:04Speaker 1: You can do what God's called you to do and make money.
- 14:09Speaker 1: So I'm just, michelle, just talking about Girl Power Alliance.
- 14:14Speaker 1: I signed up in February by Molly and, like Michelle, about came out of the camera when she said you haven't been through the radio and leadership academy yet and I said, no, she's, oh, tracy, so I'm signed up for 2024.
- 14:26Speaker 1: But what she was saying is that is kind of where you get the personal development to be able to have the message to handle this business.
- 14:34Speaker 1: So I was going through my own little one on one leadership academy.
- 14:39Speaker 1: I was in therapy, lost my husband in June of 2022.
- 14:43Speaker 1: And I think God just has his own way and I said this to Michelle so I can say this to you.
- 14:51Speaker 1: It was like at the radio speaker academy.
- 14:53Speaker 1: I was going to just go through the academy and then quietly drop out.
- 14:56Speaker 1: No, no, no, I did go on.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Michelle looked in the eye we're talking about this for you guys and I'm like I'm all in.
- 15:04Speaker 1: And then I mean I didn't say I'm all in then, but it was growing on me.
- 15:09Speaker 1: But let me tell you, you played a role in why I got all in.
- 15:13Speaker 1: I was watching Michelle Schaefer on the stage, kingdom aligned.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Then I see this amazing woman named Michelle Tupper, and I had been watching her on TikTok.
- 15:22Speaker 1: So I was already keeping my honor radiating the truth of the gospel, not unashamedly for Jesus Christ, and one of the top I'm stealing your glory one of the top people in the company.
- 15:37Speaker 1: And I thought these are the people I need to be aligned with.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Cause, when it's all said and done, I do have a voice, business and how to be on the camera and on stage, but when it's all said and done, my heart is set on the kingdom, like these women are.
- 15:51Speaker 1: So I just give you a testimony, telling your own words what happened in that year up to this year's activate, which is what the church has us going in itself.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Wow, it does, yes.
- 16:04Speaker 2: So I mean I said yes, right, and started to move forward and ended up, well, I sold both organizations, which was a blessing, but now it was all, it was game time.
- 16:16Speaker 2: I was like, okay, now we got a build, let's do this.
- 16:19Speaker 2: And shortly after I went all in and started finalizing those things, I ended up being led to TikTok Okay.
- 16:26Speaker 2: So we got over there on TikTok, yeah, and a couple of weeks then actually it was probably more like a month in to TikTok.
- 16:34Speaker 2: I had been creating content and it was going okay.
- 16:37Speaker 2: I was getting a few leads here and there and stuff, but nothing massive.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Like I was getting some enrollments here and there, right, I know how to build a business online.
- 16:45Speaker 2: But then I had a TikTok go viral overnight.
- 16:50Speaker 2: It was one specifically for girl power alliance.
- 16:52Speaker 2: It was so funny.
- 16:54Speaker 2: What's the day?
- 16:54Speaker 2: Like I normally do, I went to bed.
- 16:55Speaker 2: I woke up the next day and, like I normally do, I pulled my phone, kinda looking at my agenda, and like I've got all these people like booked on my calendar that I didn't know.
- 17:04Speaker 2: I was like, come on, what that's about?
- 17:05Speaker 2: And then I look for like a couple of weeks, my calendar is completely booked out, but with people, every person's dream, michelle.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Right, I'm like what, what?
- 17:17Speaker 2: happened?
- 17:17Speaker 2: What happened?
- 17:18Speaker 2: So I went to TikTok and you know how you see the little notifications.
- 17:21Speaker 2: It's like 99 bucks, right.
- 17:23Speaker 2: I'm like okay.
- 17:24Speaker 2: And I looked at that TikTok and they were literally just over 1000 comments Praise God Of lemon, wanting more information about GPA, okay.
- 17:38Speaker 2: So it was kind of one of those like I told you.
- 17:41Speaker 2: So moments from the Lord.
- 17:42Speaker 2: It was beautiful because he had just told me that he's like why are you so impact thousands.
- 17:47Speaker 2: It was like something about the thousand and the Lord then, use that, that like just communicated to me of like God or he's I told you so kind of moment of like.
- 17:56Speaker 2: This is just a small example of what.
- 17:59Speaker 2: I can do he's like.
- 18:01Speaker 2: I'm in charge right Like I can do all things.
- 18:05Speaker 2: So it was super cool.
- 18:06Speaker 2: And then, of course, I spent, you know, so much time just following up with all those people.
- 18:11Speaker 2: I was so busy I was blessing top and roller for months after that and then it snowballed, right, it snowballed, and then over the course of that year got to meet with some amazing women see, women grow in their faith.
- 18:25Speaker 2: See women experience you know what it looks like to truly surrender their life to the Lord and partner with him.
- 18:31Speaker 2: And so fulfilling.
- 18:32Speaker 2: I've never been so fulfilled in my life, obviously starting to build some income too, which is a blessing for our family.
- 18:39Speaker 2: God provided he is, he provided all our needs.
- 18:42Speaker 2: We never, you know, went without.
- 18:45Speaker 2: We always were able to pay our bills, all the things.
- 18:47Speaker 2: It was amazing and that's continuing to grow exponentially.
- 18:50Speaker 2: But the biggest thing, after one year, like coming back to activate at that event, walking in and seeing all of these women and getting to see I know you were there, there was a baptism and this was probably one of the most impactful moments but getting to see these women like just fully surrender to the Lord and knowing this is what we get to do.
- 19:16Speaker 2: I was just looking around the room and just saying God, thank you.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Like this is what I get to do, this is what I get to be a part of, just in what you're doing.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Like this is success.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Like when I look at I mean, the world tries to think this picture of what success is, but when you get to experience something like that and you get to realize like this is what success actually looks, like the kingdom it's changing, giving their lives to the Lord, like it's just amazing.
- 19:44Speaker 1: So yeah, if this is resonating with you and you want to jump out of the podcast or jump through this camera to find out more, just check the show notes on whatever platform this is on, and you'll find out more.
- 19:57Speaker 1: So I just wanted to jump in there, cause, right, I'm already signed up and I'm ready to sign up again Again, right?
- 20:03Speaker 1: Yeah, that's encouraging for me because I really am.
- 20:07Speaker 1: I told Michelle, I said I think I'm behind and she says you're not behind.
- 20:12Speaker 1: She goes all high achievers think they're behind, but I do feel like I'm behind.
- 20:15Speaker 1: But the beautiful thing of this is Michelle gave you a background.
- 20:20Speaker 1: She was trained, she had her own academy of sorts, she knew how to work it.
- 20:26Speaker 1: So you got to start somewhere.
- 20:27Speaker 1: And if you want to start anywhere, I mean Google university could be your platform, or chat G P T could really be your university, so you could jump in and just instantly.
- 20:38Speaker 1: What I like about when you jump in you're on someone's team.
- 20:42Speaker 1: You're not this left flaggering out there Like I'm on Michelle's team, so, and then she's got teams of teams, of teams, and she's so it's like she's involved, so you get to have, I really believe Michelle, that testimony does mean it do it again.
- 20:56Speaker 1: So as you, as you instruct your team and as you spend time with them and help them, I really believe that you know that anointing just gets to drip.
- 21:05Speaker 1: You know the anointing on the beard of Aaron just dripped, and so consider yourself an Aaron, not a beard, but so that's a high calling, that's a high anointing and I just want to honor you for that.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Wow, and we talked.
- 21:21Speaker 1: You talked about the Radition Leader Academy, which I can't wait to talk about more and go through it.
- 21:27Speaker 1: But tell me, if this isn't true, that they would take pictures before.
- 21:31Speaker 1: The Radiant Leadership Academy is just one thing inside of Girl Power Alliance, just as the Speaker Academy which Michelle and I went crazy about yesterday.
- 21:42Speaker 1: The Radiant Speaker Academy is inside.
- 21:44Speaker 1: But let's just because we got Michelle here, let's talk about the Radition Leadership Academy.
- 21:49Speaker 1: I heard that they encouraged you to take a picture before the 16 weeks weekly, and then after, and they said the amazing results is even like right in their face, of the way that the people's count, and is that sharing a little bit on that, of what you've seen?
- 22:07Speaker 2: Yes, you've witnessed.
- 22:07Speaker 2: I have witnessed that and it is amazing to see the beforeers.
- 22:12Speaker 2: There's like a life that you see in people's eyes, right, and like a joy, that like radiates and I'm sure you probably see someone and you're thinking, wow, they really are radiating, like there's something about them, there's a joy, so you get to see how and you can see it in picture.
- 22:28Speaker 2: It's so interesting to see the women.
- 22:30Speaker 2: They almost are lacking kind of that like vibrancy, and in the before and then the after there's like a joy in their eyes, there's like a vibrance in their eyes and that's the Holy Spirit transformation, like it's visible.
- 22:45Speaker 2: It's visible.
- 22:46Speaker 2: So, yeah, it's really cool to see that.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Wow, and there's also, you know, so many people say you know you need to be in community.
- 22:55Speaker 1: I know, before I came to that, I had the speaker academy and then activate and I remember almost thinking that's a myth finds your own people and I had some therapy on that, but it's like I'm gonna find your own people, I don't know.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Man, it's reading this book by Jenny Allen.
- 23:11Speaker 1: I stopped reading it because it's not happening.
- 23:13Speaker 1: And then there was some.
- 23:15Speaker 1: The speaker academy was full of nerves because we were on stage, as you know, michelle, and you need to go through it cause you'd be amazing, but you probably don't need to go through it cause you're already a speaker.
- 23:24Speaker 1: But you, like, you got 10 minutes to talk, you know.
- 23:27Speaker 1: But there was just a camaraderie that was so intense.
- 23:30Speaker 1: And then we brought that in to activate and I can honestly say, man, from day one I found my people.
- 23:37Speaker 1: I asked God two things.
- 23:38Speaker 1: I said number one God, can I just have one friend that I can connect with?
- 23:43Speaker 1: Day one nothing started.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Jenny Virginia Hatfield was my roommate.
- 23:49Speaker 1: Boom, we went out to dinner.
- 23:50Speaker 1: I'm like, wow, that was fast, she's my one.
- 23:53Speaker 1: And then I asked the Lord.
- 23:55Speaker 1: I said, no, it's not about me, lord, but let me be a shifter of atmospheres, regardless if I'm interested in what they're talking about.
- 24:03Speaker 1: But I know it's not me, it's gotta be you, lord.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Let me shift the atmospheres and that's usually.
- 24:08Speaker 1: I would pray that into a mainstream conference and it was just fun.
- 24:12Speaker 1: I just was being me and I knew something was going on and I know it was all a spirit.
- 24:18Speaker 1: No, I mean, I can tell you a little instances, but can I share?
- 24:23Speaker 1: I gotta share this.
- 24:24Speaker 1: I don't know if you know this, but after the first day of this week I'm just talking.
- 24:27Speaker 1: We're talking about Girl Power Alliance, so we're giving some testimonies.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Michelle's story may hit you because that's making money.
- 24:34Speaker 1: This is community story.
- 24:35Speaker 1: So after the first day, it's a practice run and they evaluate you.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Michelle and all four spent about 20 minutes with me because I was trying to get in so much in 10 minutes.
- 24:47Speaker 1: It was my freedom talk.
- 24:48Speaker 1: I was gonna come out, talk about the messy abuse of marriage I had, but you know, have a message in it and it was so precious.
- 24:58Speaker 1: All four of them just boom, they just poured into me and I basically went into my room thinking, oh, I'm gonna have to write this over.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Well, as I was working on it in my room, everyone was gone, I don't know why.
- 25:08Speaker 1: And all of a sudden I got a text from Molly Trotter.
- 25:10Speaker 1: She says hey, t, come on.
- 25:11Speaker 1: I talked to you and I said, sure, and I'm in my room.
- 25:14Speaker 1: She would come on down to them.
- 25:16Speaker 1: We're having a meeting right now.
- 25:18Speaker 1: No idea that they were having a meeting, michelle, I walked in and all of a sudden I can't remember her name she grabbed me and gave me her chair and she held my hand and I'm thinking, okay, what's going on?
- 25:28Speaker 1: And next thing I'm thinking, yeah, and something was going on.
- 25:31Speaker 1: Michelle Schaefer says Teresa, and she had put a chair in the middle of the auditorium little room.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Come up here.
- 25:39Speaker 1: And she sat me down and all those girls came around me and they prayed for me.
- 25:44Speaker 1: I don't know, maybe they saw, hey, she's had some rough.
- 25:48Speaker 1: And then, I don't know if you remember, I said Lynn, she spoke the most prophetic word over me.
- 25:53Speaker 1: In fact, someone recorded it and that's part of my prayer every morning is to have the words that were spoken right down to my heart.
- 26:01Speaker 1: That y'all.
- 26:02Speaker 1: I'm just giving you an example, my example of the community and I'm, you know that was.
- 26:09Speaker 1: I wasn't planning on that, but, michelle, I think she was led by the Holy Spirit because I needed a little reinforcement, someone who thought she didn't have any friends now is surrounded by and I remember little, is it Dostina?
- 26:22Speaker 1: She goes wow, I've been in church a long time.
- 26:24Speaker 1: I've never experienced this.
- 26:26Speaker 1: Wow, you know what it is.
- 26:28Speaker 1: We are the church, so I'm using my example.
- 26:33Speaker 1: So then you get into this arena and I think, girl, I want to make money, I want to be a wealth advocate for the kingdom of God.
- 26:39Speaker 1: And I look up at you and you are a wealth advocate for the kingdom of God on top of being a leader.
- 26:46Speaker 1: So your testimony is so powerful.
- 26:48Speaker 1: What, as you've gone along?
- 26:51Speaker 1: Okay, you had some accolades in this conference.
- 26:57Speaker 1: What do you see as the struggles ahead?
- 27:00Speaker 1: Cause there's some really high earners watching this.
- 27:02Speaker 1: They may need no one in word on how them to keep the momentum of the kingdom and not let it be a just as in the old thing, but keep the momentum.
- 27:12Speaker 1: What would be your key to keep that momentum?
- 27:16Speaker 2: Yeah, fix your eyes on Jesus.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Like.
- 27:19Speaker 2: It seems like cliche or simple, but it's.
- 27:23Speaker 2: It's the most important thing and I think that's what I learned over the last year.
- 27:27Speaker 2: It's like and I'm not perfect at it, I still struggle, I still find myself slipping back to old patterns of trying to control things myself by myself.
- 27:34Speaker 2: But we're really god.
- 27:37Speaker 2: It's like, yeah, it's, it's just learning how to hear his direction for your life, being so in With where he's leading that you don't even have to Stress, like we're partnering with him.
- 27:48Speaker 2: So there's work involved and we're in step when we're moving forward in faith, but it's being so in tune and Falling as guidance and learning how to just continue to say yes, no matter the outcome.
- 28:01Speaker 2: I think we get so caught up and so attached to this outcome of trying to control it, but I'm like God had more for us than we could ever imagine for ourselves.
- 28:10Speaker 2: So we're living him when we try and step in and control everything in our own capacity, our own strength.
- 28:17Speaker 2: So press me into him.
- 28:19Speaker 2: So anytime I start to feel that pressure or that stress, I be coming up.
- 28:25Speaker 2: It's like that's when I know I need to pause and be still and know that he's God and and spend some time with me and and I love, even when it comes to creating content, like start with time with the Lord, like how that inspired place of Just getting time with the Lord and then go create the content right, it's coming from your overflow.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm never.
- 28:52Speaker 1: I used to think okay, I'm how my coin time, I can't think about this, can't think about that.
- 28:55Speaker 1: And then build Johnson said, if you're having your time with your father, and he gives you an idea of my goodness writing down.
- 29:02Speaker 1: So I say that because a lot of the stuff that comes up on my post a lot of time are just what God is speaking to me, and sometimes I throw it in chat tpt.
- 29:13Speaker 1: So the personal you know.
- 29:14Speaker 1: But I really appreciate you saying that because really, whatever you're doing, we're getting excited about girl power lines because it's impacted our lives and you can apply this to so many different things.
- 29:26Speaker 1: In the bottom line is In your DNA.
- 29:29Speaker 1: This is our voices, our identity.
- 29:32Speaker 1: And as you really go after, say God, what is really in my identity, sometimes just close to what you used to play.
- 29:40Speaker 1: You know, michelle, part of my talk was the threads that come from your childhood, and just one little thread is when I was little, I would find Apple boxes and get on top of them so I can preach.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Now, years later, I open an Apple product and I speak my word and you can find kids.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Now what, let's say, michelle, someone has a really, really bad.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Well, guess what you find healing and you get to serve the person you once were.
- 30:07Speaker 1: Yes, voice Is so powerful.
- 30:12Speaker 1: I'm really excited and you know to be on something like this, from someone who said I'm gonna quit after the speaker Academy to someone who's saying, hey, this fits right along with my voice business.
- 30:24Speaker 1: I just want to publicly appreciate you, that I get to learn from you and you set a high standard and Maybe someone's listening.
- 30:33Speaker 1: This is crazy social media.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Think of yourself.
- 30:36Speaker 1: Instead of just doing the scroll scroll purposely, go and take some breadcrumbs.
- 30:42Speaker 1: I love the thought is, hey, they, they're like I'm watching the thread crumbs on Michelle.
- 30:47Speaker 1: The only thing I can't do is she's my hero lifting weights and getting in shape.
- 30:52Speaker 1: I can't follow those crumbs on 60 years old.
- 30:54Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 30:55Speaker 1: She's my hero when it comes to that.
- 30:58Speaker 1: So follow the crumbs.
- 31:01Speaker 1: What would you say?
- 31:02Speaker 1: Social media?
- 31:03Speaker 1: Let's just pick maybe two social media Plot platforms how I'm gonna, you're gonna be my social media.
- 31:11Speaker 1: I think someone could really benefit this.
- 31:12Speaker 1: How would you strategically plan Using, let's say, instagram and let's say tick tock?
- 31:19Speaker 1: How would you plan and how would you move in a strategic plan to draw people in who want more?
- 31:26Speaker 2: Yeah, man, can I go back to the identity?
- 31:30Speaker 2: One thought quick, because I feel like it.
- 31:33Speaker 2: I apply so much to this because I feel like Oftentimes, what holds us back, like we know what we need to do, like, for the most part, even the people listening.
- 31:44Speaker 2: You know, you know what you need to do.
- 31:46Speaker 2: You need to show up and you need to build awareness.
- 31:48Speaker 2: You need to tell your story.
- 31:49Speaker 2: You need to share the breakthroughs that you've had, you need to talk about the value that you are Experiencing.
- 31:56Speaker 2: Right, and you do.
- 31:57Speaker 2: You speak to the person that you were before you found the solution, before you found the Breakthrough.
- 32:03Speaker 2: You're talking to that person, but what holds people back is you're questioning yourself, you're doubting yourself, you're worried about what people are doing.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Think you, you want it to be perfect and if it's not, you don't post it.
- 32:16Speaker 2: So it comes back to you identity in confidence in who you are and who God created you would be and the voice and the message he has on your heart.
- 32:25Speaker 2: And you boldly showing up and sharing without the fear of man.
- 32:30Speaker 2: Right, because I like that's the biggest struggle that people are running into.
- 32:34Speaker 2: When I work with people, they know and you, you have to show up and you have to just start and it's gonna feel a little clunky.
- 32:41Speaker 2: If you're new at it and it might not look like the person who's you know a Mile or two ahead of you, it's gonna look different, right?
- 32:52Speaker 2: But you can't compare your Stay one to someone's day thousand.
- 32:56Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 32:58Speaker 2: Enemy is going to keep you, comparing yourself to that to stop you from day one.
- 33:03Speaker 2: You can't get to date thousand without starting day one, so you have to be, take some messy action, knowing that you're, you have a message to share and then someone needs to hear it and I think just the identity, I think just ties so well to that that you first need to build that confidence and you are in the Lord, so that you can show up not afraid of man.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Let me interject just one word in that imperfect action Is better than no action.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Yes, what Michelle is saying, and I love how you said you can't compare your day one to someone else's.
- 33:38Speaker 1: You know, chapter 34 and social media can make you feel that way.
- 33:43Speaker 1: But show up messy if you freeze.
- 33:46Speaker 1: I talked to someone this past weekend who was got booked for a TED talk, got on stage and forgot for God his whole message and he rambled through it.
- 33:56Speaker 1: But you know what happened as he got through it, toward the meat of it, he was showing his authentic self.
- 34:01Speaker 1: No, I'm asked you a marketing question, but sometimes just showing up in your authentic stuff.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Now I have troubles because I was like, oh, I'm 60, I gotta get rid of those.
- 34:11Speaker 1: And then my my therapist says forget those, go out.
- 34:15Speaker 1: So you know.
- 34:17Speaker 1: And who cares what Joe, dick and Harry think?
- 34:20Speaker 1: Who cares what your aunt thinks or your uncle or your mom or even your dad?
- 34:24Speaker 1: If you know that, you know the gods called you.
- 34:27Speaker 1: Yes, go with what the first voice of the Holy Spirit is telling you to do.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Go, live, be scared.
- 34:34Speaker 1: You know I got to be honest with you.
- 34:37Speaker 1: I was really struggling as I was getting out of activate, saying, thinking can I enroll anyone?
- 34:42Speaker 1: I just I don't know.
- 34:43Speaker 1: I'm just feeling a little really nervous.
- 34:45Speaker 1: And Ruby, remember Ruby?
- 34:46Speaker 1: She sent me a text the very next morning and she says, teresa, do it scared, because you know what it's like to create a mentor academy, to create a podcast from scratch, do it like that.
- 34:58Speaker 1: But that way it's got Teresa stamp and you're not copying and pasting.
- 35:01Speaker 1: So do it scared.
- 35:03Speaker 1: That's kind of in my motto Do it scared.
- 35:05Speaker 1: But when you saw said done Michelle.
- 35:07Speaker 1: Where Michelle Schaefer said women love to share what they're excited about.
- 35:11Speaker 1: So it's not like lining up your list 100 people you know be who you are, go online.
- 35:19Speaker 1: So someone has a TikTok, someone has an Instagram.
- 35:23Speaker 1: This is so much fun, I don't.
- 35:24Speaker 1: I don't leave you out of your next appointment.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Someone has an Instagram.
- 35:28Speaker 1: Someone has a Instagram.
- 35:30Speaker 1: What are some basic steps within their identity that they could do?
- 35:36Speaker 2: Basic steps.
- 35:37Speaker 2: I mean, I always like to start with.
- 35:39Speaker 2: You know, find a few people that are in a similar niche to you.
- 35:42Speaker 2: Okay, Follow them Like.
- 35:44Speaker 2: I love what you said about like success leaves clues.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Yes.
- 35:48Speaker 2: So inspiration from other people, right.
- 35:50Speaker 2: How are they showing and showing up and sharing their story and things?
- 35:53Speaker 2: Yeah, tiktok and Instagram.
- 35:56Speaker 2: It's all about the reels.
- 35:57Speaker 2: It's all about the video form content, right?
- 36:00Speaker 2: So for me, I'm going to follow a simple strategy.
- 36:04Speaker 2: I really do three types of content and I cycle through these three types of content.
- 36:08Speaker 2: One is duets, like duetting with people who speak as a message to you.
- 36:14Speaker 2: Use the.
- 36:15Speaker 2: You know that, bring value from someone else to your account.
- 36:18Speaker 2: One of the easiest ways to create content, because you don't have to come up with it on your own.
- 36:22Speaker 2: So do it is the simplest form.
- 36:24Speaker 2: The second would be something where it's kind of trendy but it is within your niche, something that's getting in that message across, speaking to your ideal clients either pain or deep desire, right Like you're kind of really speaking to what it is that they're looking for you have a solution to.
- 36:43Speaker 2: And then the last one would be you sharing your story.
- 36:46Speaker 2: So actually speaking, telling your story and being vulnerable, talking in video form.
- 36:55Speaker 2: I know this is the scariest and the most intimidating people, but talk, share a little bit about yourself, about your maybe a piece of your story.
- 37:03Speaker 2: Make it relatable.
- 37:05Speaker 2: Start with hey, like, have you been in this place Right Like in speaker?
- 37:10Speaker 2: Are you in this place right now?
- 37:11Speaker 2: Are you feeling this way?
- 37:12Speaker 2: Speak to that, share some of your story, share some breakthrough with them.
- 37:18Speaker 1: And then from your story, do you, is that where you lead them to your offer of Girl Countdown Alliance?
- 37:23Speaker 1: Yep.
- 37:25Speaker 2: The story then leads to if this was you and you're looking for this, do this, give them a little touch.
- 37:32Speaker 1: That's just gold right there, regardless of what you're leading people into.
- 37:36Speaker 1: So I loved it.
- 37:37Speaker 1: That's an extension of your voice and I hope you wrote that down.
- 37:41Speaker 1: Are you rewinding this podcast or this video and really could do that?
- 37:47Speaker 1: Those on the podcast can't see me.
- 37:50Speaker 1: I'm just can't stop smiling because this is like so fun to talk about and, michelle, I appreciate you've given us so much value.
- 37:59Speaker 1: I know your time and I'm sorry I got jumped in there, maybe with my excitement, I hope, combined together.
- 38:04Speaker 1: I hope the listener says hey, wait a minute, these ladies are talking about something that I want.
- 38:12Speaker 2: So I just have to say, teresa, before we get off, like you mentioned, you know me inspiring you, but I feel so inspired by you.
- 38:19Speaker 2: I even feel like your presence at Activate was just very inspiring to me.
- 38:24Speaker 2: It just makes me I'll get emotional about it, but it makes me excited about life and getting older and, like you just set such a beautiful example of just like being bold and continuing to step out and allowing God to use you and so just keeping just the fire that you are because, like I felt that activate.
- 38:50Speaker 1: So, thank, you, thank you.
- 38:52Speaker 1: That blesses me.
- 38:53Speaker 1: That blesses me.
- 38:54Speaker 1: Thank you so much.
- 38:55Speaker 1: So, ladies and gentlemen, god, I'm just going to be bold.
- 38:59Speaker 1: We got like a 24 hour preview link.
- 39:01Speaker 1: Why don't I put that in the bottom?
- 39:03Speaker 1: You can jump in for 24 hours, embrace it all, or, if you want, just the tip toe in the waters.
- 39:09Speaker 1: I'm sure Michelle will meet with me and you together.
- 39:13Speaker 1: I'm sure we can do that, being a little more bold than my normal.
- 39:16Speaker 1: But why?
- 39:17Speaker 1: Why would I be afraid to share something that you may need?
- 39:21Speaker 1: Are you tired?
- 39:22Speaker 1: Are you a fried, tried and crucified?
- 39:24Speaker 1: You ready for your glory story to be a glory story?
- 39:27Speaker 1: You, my friend, me, girl power alliance, yeah, awesome, I so love you.
- 39:33Speaker 1: I can wait to work more.
- 39:35Speaker 1: I'm watching you.
- 39:36Speaker 1: I got my.
- 39:37Speaker 1: You're leaving cookie crumbs for me.
- 39:41Speaker 2: All right, same.
- 39:42Speaker 2: We're inspiring each other, friend yeah.
- 39:45Speaker 1: So thank you for listening and watching the Kingdom Mentor Podcast.
- 39:48Speaker 1: This is available on all platforms and do us a favor and share it with someone who may very well need what this is all about.
- 39:56Speaker 1: Thank you so much.
- 39:56Speaker 1: I'm Teresa Croft.
- 39:57Speaker 1: I'll talk to you in the next episode.
- 39:59Speaker 1: Bye.
