  Hello everyone, I'm just going to do a review of my journey to

  Burt Bean Barbecue in Seguin, TX.

  I'm staying in San Antonio, so it's like a maybe 42 minute

  trip. So I set the clock for 6:45 to

  get there at 8:00 because I know there was going to be, I don't
• 0:28
  know how many people were going to be in line, but I anticipate
• 0:31
  anticipated people getting out there early.

  So I got up and I headed out and got down there by probably like
• 0:41
  8O2, found a parking spot around the corner.

  When I got there, they were roughly about 10 people already
• 0:50
  in line, so I got in line. I didn't have chairs like them
• 0:56
  since I was out of from out of town, so I just had to stand and
• 1:00
  sit on the curb here and there. My back was hurting, but I had
• 1:04
  to tough it out until 11:00 because there was what time they
• 1:08
  open as far as the weight. What bothered me a little bit,
• 1:17
  but was how I guess some of the people in line had some of their
• 1:24
  friends and family just show up and jump in line in front of
• 1:27
  people, which I didn't think it was fair.

  So I went from being a ten in line to 2122 in line by the time
• 1:38
  it opened just because people just showing up out the blue.

  But I mean, and nothing I can do about it, but Seguin is a nice
• 1:50
  little historic looking town. I did see a saloon down the
• 1:57
  street. They had some type of event
• 1:59
  across the street going on for Christmas.

  But after the wait, I mean we got through the line pretty
• 2:07
  quickly. They had a great selection of
• 2:11
  items on the menu. I purchased brass Monkey
• 2:16
  sandwich which was the queso Mac and cheese with sausage and
• 2:23
  brisket made into a sandwich, had the street corn pudding.
• 2:28
  The queso Mac and cheese potato salad had a piece of bacon that
• 2:33
  they had made. I had some pork ribs, 1/2 a
• 2:38
  pound of that and I had one of the pork chops.

  And then for dessert I had one of the big red cake and I had
• 2:48
  that carrot cake also. And then I bought AT shirt just
• 2:53
  as a souvenir. But based on all the hype coming
• 2:57
  in, I was excited to see what the food tastes like and I was
• 3:05
  not disappointed. I mean, it wasn't worth the
• 3:08
  three hour wait, but I had to do what I had to do to try it.
• 3:12
  Since I was in line, I had to weed it out.
• 3:14
  But the food was excellent. I see why they're #1 everything
• 3:19
  was good, especially the pork chop and the ribs.
• 3:24
  I mean, it was might have been the best ribs I had in my life.
• 3:28
  And the pork chop was excellent. Also, Ernest, he was friendly.

  I love it that he came out while we were waiting in line and
• 3:39
  greeted everybody as well as talk to us while we're in the
• 3:43
  line. Also, I love a leader that gets
• 3:48
  his hands dirty and he was there cutting the meat as well as
• 3:52
  leading his crew while he was cutting the meat.
• 3:56
  And then once he got a lot of the customers out the way, he
• 4:00
  did come out into the dining room and greet everybody and see
• 4:04
  how everybody was doing, how everything was, which I thought
• 4:07
  was excellent also. So my personal experience, I
• 4:12
  love it. I mean, just to go there and say
• 4:16
  that I've had a chance to go to the one of the number one
• 4:20
  restaurants of Michelin star restaurant.

  It was an excellent experience. Other than the long wait,
• 4:29
  everything else was great. So I recommend it to anybody
• 4:33
  that's comes out to this area, definitely try it because it's a
• 4:38
  experience with the food that you get.

  If you thought you had BBQ, you haven't had BBQ until you tried
• 4:47
  his BBQ. So I definitely give it 2 thumbs
• 4:52
  up. So if you want to come out here,
• 4:55
  definitely try it out. And on that note, that is my
• 4:58
  review of Burnt Bean. Two thumbs up.

  And also you like my hat. So I didn't wear a BBQ therapy

  shirt this time. I wanted to wear one of my other

  superhero suits in my regular clothes.

  And you know, those that know me love know I love my hats.
