A tropical disturbance is rolling into the Gulf, bringing much-needed rain to parts of Texas—especially along I-45 from late Tuesday through Thursday—with totals ranging from a quarter-inch to an inch, and a few spots possibly hitting two inches. North Texas stays dry with minimal chances of even a tenth of an inch. While not a flood, the moisture and clouds will cool things down slightly and bring relief from the heat—even if humidity rises.
