- 1:16Speaker 2: because we are Yeah, we're doing a double header. We
- 1:20Speaker 2: just recorded a show, we're recording another one because Stevie
- 1:23Speaker 2: will not be available next week due to a medical
- 1:25Speaker 2: procedure involving his butt.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Ye maybe some boobs do. Who knows.
- 1:33Speaker 3: Bos He was going to try to start cutting and
- 1:38Speaker 3: when he says stop, they'll stop.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Oh, nurse Ratchet go okay for today's America. It's pretty brave,
- 1:51Speaker 2: and I applaud you. I'll still be I'm glad you are.
- 1:56Speaker 2: I'm glad you're becoming your true and real self.
- 2:00Speaker 3: A bald person which just looks like a woman with breasts.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Yeah, damn right, breasts.
- 2:06Speaker 2: I mean to be fear. That's that's what he always
- 2:08Speaker 2: wanted to become.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Or he's been trying to get at the supposed it
- 2:12Speaker 3: easier way by just eating a bunch of food. But
- 2:16Speaker 3: whoa his Tom Tom don't agree with him?
- 2:20Speaker 6: Uh?
- 2:21Speaker 2: Well, in any event, Yeah, hey man, what's been going on?
- 2:24Speaker 2: What is your week been like? What is the what?
- 2:26Speaker 2: I guess I'll start off. I'm pantsls Aaron on your host,
- 2:29Speaker 2: so to speak. This this past couple of weeks has
- 2:32Speaker 2: been very interesting because I released my second book and
- 2:36Speaker 2: The Inevitability of Life. Initial reviews are positive, they're they're
- 2:41Speaker 2: all good. I got one four star, nothing lower than that. Also,
- 2:44Speaker 2: to be fair, I only have the three reviews, but
- 2:47Speaker 2: still still pretty good. People seem to really like it,
- 2:51Speaker 2: uh and I that makes me happy. I hope people
- 2:53Speaker 2: continue to like it and more good stuff comes in.
- 2:56Speaker 2: I know it was hard for you. As we've discussed.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Let's talk about different episodes.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Let's talk about the launch party because we might as
- 3:07Speaker 1: well talk about it.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Yeah, the launch party was a good time.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Let's talk about the launch party. We'll go into this.
- 3:11Speaker 2: So, the the original book Thanes launch party was awesome.
- 3:16Speaker 2: It was it was wall to wall. The back room
- 3:19Speaker 2: at the bar and restaurant that I had borrowed for
- 3:24Speaker 2: the purposes of the launch party was packed and it
- 3:28Speaker 2: was a really good time.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Uh.
- 3:30Speaker 2: And we had a lot of fun. Uh And I
- 3:33Speaker 2: got to see a lot of people, but I couldn't
- 3:34Speaker 2: spend a lot of time with a lot of people
- 3:36Speaker 2: because more people kept coming in and asking for books.
- 3:38Speaker 2: So I was. I spent like the first two hours
- 3:41Speaker 2: I think straight just signing and you know, selling books
- 3:44Speaker 2: to people, which was amazing. I walked away with a
- 3:47Speaker 2: lot of money that night, and a lot of people
- 3:49Speaker 2: walked away with the signed copies of my first book,
- 3:52Speaker 2: which was huge for me.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Yeah, it was awesome.
- 3:55Speaker 2: And uh uh my second launch party, the one Parako,
- 4:00Speaker 2: was a little bit more subdued this time, which is interesting.
- 4:04Speaker 2: I think it says a lot that like, well, I
- 4:06Speaker 2: don't know what it says so to speak about society
- 4:09Speaker 2: that we're we're always more willing to support someone's first
- 4:13Speaker 2: attempt at something rather than subsequent attempts, like I don't know,
- 4:20Speaker 2: it's it's it's weird, but I mean it's it's. It
- 4:24Speaker 2: wasn't It wasn't really disheartening because I still got a
- 4:27Speaker 2: bunch of people showed up, Some people who I didn't
- 4:29Speaker 2: expect to see showed up. One was another local author
- 4:33Speaker 2: who came to support me, and he also he also
- 4:36Speaker 2: bought a couple of my books. He was a really
- 4:37Speaker 2: decent guy. He's a little a little a little much
- 4:41Speaker 2: for me. He's he's he's very upfront and and and
- 4:45Speaker 2: focused and a little intense guy. But he was he
- 4:48Speaker 2: was cool, and he was genuinely a lot of fun
- 4:51Speaker 2: and he kept conversing with everybody like most of my friends.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Was talking to c J and uh Bob for a
- 4:59Speaker 2: while U but we were all hanging out and I
- 5:01Speaker 2: actually got to spend some time with my friends this time,
- 5:03Speaker 2: which was nice. I got to spend some time with
- 5:06Speaker 2: my parents that was family and actually say hello instead
- 5:10Speaker 2: of just instead of just sitting there signing book after
- 5:13Speaker 2: book after book, which was a is a glorious experience
- 5:18Speaker 2: that I hope every author gets to experience just once,
- 5:21Speaker 2: where you are just constantly signing books because it's a
- 5:24Speaker 2: good feeling. Really is. This time not so much. But
- 5:28Speaker 2: it was a better party because I got to enjoy
- 5:31Speaker 2: it this time around, whereas the last time I was
- 5:33Speaker 2: pretty much all business. I couldn't really enjoy any of it.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Just said hi to people and got a few hugs
- 5:38Speaker 2: in here and there, but otherwise it was like sign
- 5:41Speaker 2: and sign and.
- 5:42Speaker 1: So it was a good time. Man, it was. We
- 5:45Speaker 1: had a freaking blast. It wasnt the Canadian out and
- 5:53Speaker 1: it was great. It was delicious. Yeah, we have food.
- 6:01Speaker 1: We should do that as the shows go there for
- 6:02Speaker 1: food one day just let us know just episode of
- 6:08Speaker 1: recorded were going.
- 6:09Speaker 2: You just because we just want to eat. I mean,
- 6:14Speaker 2: we've been threatening to go to the casino and do
- 6:16Speaker 2: the same thing.
- 6:17Speaker 1: We'll do it someday. We'll go to d R Yeah,
- 6:19Speaker 1: I'm in is amazing. But we picked up a version
- 6:23Speaker 1: of Raco as well.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Yes, yep.
- 6:25Speaker 1: And then uh, after the priority and stuff, we went home,
- 6:28Speaker 1: had our evening and I got upstairs and I was like, well,
- 6:31Speaker 1: let me open up at least the first page, and
- 6:33Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, cool, the dedication thing. And I run
- 6:35Speaker 1: into the other room, like you check out the day.
- 6:39Speaker 1: That's cool. And I go back into my room and
- 6:41Speaker 1: then I turned the actual first page of it and
- 6:43Speaker 1: I got one sentence in and I shut the book.
- 6:47Speaker 1: I put the book back down on top of the
- 6:49Speaker 1: thinge because it's on top of her on my printer.
- 6:51Speaker 1: I grabbed my phone and I texted Aaron. I can't
- 6:55Speaker 1: remember exactly what I said, if I still have it
- 6:59Speaker 1: or not. I don't remember.
- 7:05Speaker 2: I remember it was funny, the first not paragraph, the
- 7:10Speaker 2: first fucking sentence, dude. Oh MG, Like, I know you
- 7:14Speaker 2: said Jamie was gonna go through some ship, but damn
- 7:17Speaker 2: you got me just starting to read it this weekend.
- 7:19Speaker 2: I was gonna wait till summer.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Vacation, and I was I was ready to start reading
- 7:24Speaker 1: right then, but I'm just like, no, I can't go
- 7:26Speaker 1: into work all the Preston ship because of some crap.
- 7:29Speaker 1: And I poked the Aaron made off, so I'm like,
- 7:31Speaker 1: I gotta wait. I gotta wait. So I'm trying to
- 7:33Speaker 1: hold off, but I think I'm gonna be dipping into
- 7:35Speaker 1: it probably this week because I'm off.
- 7:37Speaker 2: To be fair like the first sentence is Jamie held
- 7:40Speaker 2: the knife in his shaking hands. Despite what his friend said,
- 7:44Speaker 2: he couldn't mentally prepare himself to kill everyone he loved.
- 7:47Speaker 2: It's so.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Like that's the first fucking ship in the goddamn but
- 7:54Speaker 1: like the very I'm like.
- 7:55Speaker 3: So if that doesn't hook you, dude, fuck.
- 7:59Speaker 2: I told you. I warned you from the off that
- 8:03Speaker 2: Jamie was not going to have a good time in
- 8:05Speaker 2: this book.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Jesus man, I'm like, all right, I gotta be I
- 8:08Speaker 1: gotta be in a good place for this ship.
- 8:12Speaker 2: I needed to apologize because Jamie is based on Stevie,
- 8:15Speaker 2: like that character was based on Stevie. This is the
- 8:18Speaker 2: events of Raka are not something I want Stevie to
- 8:22Speaker 2: go through under any circumstances. No, I did not want
- 8:28Speaker 2: him to think that that was torture. That was one
- 8:32Speaker 2: hundred thousand percent.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Maybe I don't want to be in Aaron's book anymore.
- 8:36Speaker 2: He just tortures his friends. It was just in the
- 8:42Speaker 2: situation those characters had found themselves in that's awesome. Out
- 8:46Speaker 2: of all of them, who would they trust to leave behind?
- 8:50Speaker 2: And the only answer was Jamie. Like it was, it
- 8:53Speaker 2: was the only possible choice. It had to be him,
- 8:57Speaker 2: but that meant he was gonna have to do some
- 9:00Speaker 2: awful ship that I did not want to put him through.
- 9:04Speaker 2: But it makes for It makes for a hell of
- 9:08Speaker 2: an opening sometimes, you know. I mean and I and
- 9:12Speaker 2: I I posted it on social media. I'm like, look,
- 9:17Speaker 2: just para warning ka comes out swinging. Yeah, it really does.
- 9:22Speaker 2: It does not mess around. So anyway, uh so that
- 9:27Speaker 2: was a delightful interaction that I had. Part of me
- 9:31Speaker 2: wanted to share it on social media, but I'm like, no,
- 9:33Speaker 2: this is its personal I'm gonna leave it alone and.
- 9:38Speaker 1: So good and like, I'm glad that's how it opened though,
- 9:40Speaker 1: because you're there, Like I was there. I don't even repast.
- 9:44Speaker 1: I literally did not reapast that. I seriously closed the
- 9:49Speaker 1: fucking book and texted him. I haven't opened it since.
- 9:54Speaker 1: I'm just like, oh, yeah, I want to know, but
- 9:57Speaker 1: not right now. Yeah, fuck man, But yeah, that was
- 10:02Speaker 1: an awesome that was an awesome party for that.
- 10:06Speaker 2: As I told you, that first chapter is rough, rough
- 10:10Speaker 2: for Jamie. After that it lightens up. Yeah it will,
- 10:14Speaker 2: and you'll see it lighting up. But just just just
- 10:19Speaker 2: let you know, I know you only read the first sentence.
- 10:22Speaker 2: But it's it's gonna get worse from where it is.
- 10:25Speaker 2: It will.
- 10:29Speaker 1: So that was awesome and it was cool too when
- 10:31Speaker 1: aug and I pulled up because we can't, we rolled
- 10:33Speaker 1: up together. We rolled after dinner. We pull in. As
- 10:36Speaker 1: soon as we pull in, there's hen.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Yeah, that friend. We haven't seen it a long time
- 10:40Speaker 2: and need to get together with it.
- 10:42Speaker 1: And so we started talking for a couple minutes. Right
- 10:44Speaker 1: behind us, Magnus cocked Thunder and his lady and ship,
- 10:46Speaker 1: and I'm like, fucking awesome. And then look, we had
- 10:49Speaker 1: a party outside before we even got to the party.
- 10:51Speaker 1: It was neat man.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it was. It was fun seeing everybody there.
- 10:55Speaker 2: It was. It was delightful and I had a great time.
- 10:57Speaker 1: So where can people find Rake?
- 11:00Speaker 2: They haven't found it any reputable bookstore, honestly, And if
- 11:04Speaker 2: they don't have it, ask for it. It's Reka and
- 11:07Speaker 2: the Inevitability of Life Rayka spelled r E K H
- 11:10Speaker 2: A uh. And the author is Aaron Randolph R A
- 11:14Speaker 2: N d O l p H. That's me and uh.
- 11:18Speaker 2: And like I said, the reviews are excellent so far,
- 11:21Speaker 2: I want more. I don't have a lot. So if
- 11:24Speaker 2: you are listening to this and you have read the book,
- 11:26Speaker 2: please leave an honest review, and I wanted to be honest.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Please do. I don't want just a never ending slew
- 11:32Speaker 2: of five stars because it doesn't literally it literally it
- 11:36Speaker 2: literally doesn't help. I can't grow as an author if
- 11:39Speaker 2: there's no if there's if there's no constructive criticism, and
- 11:44Speaker 2: it also looks fake. If an item online has nothing
- 11:49Speaker 2: but positive reviews, that looks bad. So if you think
- 11:53Speaker 2: it's a four star book, give it a four star.
- 11:55Speaker 2: I don't mind if you think it's a three star,
- 11:56Speaker 2: a two star, a one star, even as long as
- 11:59Speaker 2: you're honest, that's all I care about. So yeah, please do.
- 12:02Speaker 2: If you have read the book, if you haven't pick
- 12:04Speaker 2: it up, you can get it for You can get
- 12:07Speaker 2: it on digital for just five bucks. It's four ninety
- 12:09Speaker 2: nine anywhere where ebooks are sold, and if you want
- 12:12Speaker 2: a physical copy, you can get it on Amazon or
- 12:15Speaker 2: Burns and Noble. You can also get a number of
- 12:17Speaker 2: other places. I imagine. I haven't checked them all like
- 12:20Speaker 2: I did with Fane. I was super excited, so I
- 12:22Speaker 2: checked everywhere I could think of this old books to
- 12:24Speaker 2: see if it was there. I haven't done that with
- 12:25Speaker 2: Rayco because I'm like, eh, it's gonna be at a
- 12:30Speaker 2: bunch of places, I know, because that's what my that's
- 12:32Speaker 2: what my distributor does. It's their job to distribute it
- 12:34Speaker 2: all the other that's what they do. So it's it's
- 12:38Speaker 2: gonna be on like thrift books and abe Books and
- 12:41Speaker 2: whatever other book website you can pick of. Cobo I'm
- 12:45Speaker 2: sure has it, you know, all sorts of places. But yeah,
- 12:50Speaker 2: and but if you want a signed version from me,
- 12:52Speaker 2: hit me up, hit me up. I will happily ship
- 12:55Speaker 2: one to you. It's just gonna be twenty bucks plus
- 12:57Speaker 2: five for shipping, So twenty five. I will ship it
- 13:00Speaker 2: anywhere in the US. If you're international, just let me know.
- 13:03Speaker 2: I'll look up or find out what the cost will
- 13:05Speaker 2: be to ship it and i'll tell you. And if
- 13:07Speaker 2: you want to go through with it, then you just
- 13:09Speaker 2: send me the money and I ship it, no problem.
- 13:12Speaker 2: I just want more of this book in people's hands,
- 13:14Speaker 2: and I still have like a box full of them
- 13:16Speaker 2: to sell, So looking forward to doing more cons and
- 13:20Speaker 2: ship like that. That would Yeah, that's the game plan
- 13:26Speaker 2: I heard sign number one. Yeah, as I think as
- 13:28Speaker 2: a as A as a side effect of doing that party.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Like the other author I mentioned, he was like, Hey,
- 13:34Speaker 2: we're doing this thing. I think it was called Better
- 13:37Speaker 2: Off Red r e A d uh.
- 13:41Speaker 1: I gotcha, gotcha.
- 13:42Speaker 2: It's at Art Park, which is nearby, so it's not
- 13:46Speaker 2: far and it's it's apparently a big book convention. They
- 13:49Speaker 2: have a massive one dollar book sales outdoors, like used
- 13:53Speaker 2: bookstores just put their you know, their stuff into a
- 13:55Speaker 2: giant one dollar sale and people can just walk in
- 13:58Speaker 2: and buy books for one dollar. But there are also
- 14:00Speaker 2: all these local authors and vendors who are selling their
- 14:03Speaker 2: books to the side. So I'm gonna be there. I've
- 14:06Speaker 2: signed up for it, so I'm hoping to get worried
- 14:08Speaker 2: about it and I'll be there. I've already set aside
- 14:10Speaker 2: the time in my calendar so.
- 14:12Speaker 1: I might interview you guys.
- 14:15Speaker 2: It's going to be a good time.
- 14:17Speaker 1: It's gorgeous.
- 14:18Speaker 2: It's beautiful, beautiful, Yes, just out past Lewiston, which is
- 14:22Speaker 2: gorgeous part of the country.
- 14:26Speaker 3: Yeah, white country.
- 14:27Speaker 5: Let's say.
- 14:28Speaker 2: The last thing that I've been up to is a
- 14:29Speaker 2: little bit of tech stuff that's nothing new. I got
- 14:31Speaker 2: a new, small, cheap handheld. It was like thirty five bucks. Wow,
- 14:37Speaker 2: but this thing is actually amazing for that price. Like
- 14:39Speaker 2: the screen is only like a two point five inch screen, Okay,
- 14:42Speaker 2: it's only about that big, but the quality of the
- 14:46Speaker 2: screen is incredible, like the color depth, it's gorgeous, and
- 14:50Speaker 2: the the dpad and buttons are great, Like they're not
- 14:54Speaker 2: cheap feeling. The only thing I don't like about this
- 14:57Speaker 2: handheld I can't remember the name of it. Oh yes,
- 14:59Speaker 2: I can, uh the batlex P just stupid name B
- 15:05Speaker 2: A T l E. I assume it was meant to
- 15:08Speaker 2: be battle but they left one of the t's out.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Batman and lex Corp bat together.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Then they made bat Lex b A t L b
- 15:19Speaker 2: A t l e x p uh And it's the
- 15:22Speaker 2: G three P fifty. It is a thirty five dollars handheld.
- 15:25Speaker 2: It comes with a SD card full of games on
- 15:29Speaker 2: the and the The menu is pretty solid that you
- 15:32Speaker 2: can save state, you can do all those sorts of
- 15:34Speaker 2: things you could usually do with with emulators. This is
- 15:38Speaker 2: a astonishing value for thirty five dollars. You can still
- 15:41Speaker 2: get it for that cheap despite the tariff bullshit, because
- 15:45Speaker 2: Ali Express has a lot of UH stock already here,
- 15:49Speaker 2: so that's at least right now here. Yeah, the tariffs
- 15:53Speaker 2: haven't really hit yet. They're supposedly gonna uh not looking
- 15:57Speaker 2: forward to that. But as it is, I've been trying
- 16:00Speaker 2: to get my tech stuff done that I want to
- 16:02Speaker 2: do now before the prices go up.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Get done.
- 16:05Speaker 2: So another thing that I did was I tried to
- 16:07Speaker 2: install the twelve terabyte hard drive that I took out
- 16:10Speaker 2: of the computer that I sold you, because it had
- 16:13Speaker 2: my pretty much my entire collection of PS three x
- 16:15Speaker 2: YS three sixty and Switch games, so I couldn't just
- 16:18Speaker 2: leave it. Also, I would have had to charge a
- 16:19Speaker 2: lot more for it, but it was working when I
- 16:24Speaker 2: pulled it out of that machine. I tried plugging into
- 16:26Speaker 2: my current desktop and I cannot get it to be
- 16:29Speaker 2: recognized by either of the bios. Windows recognizes the drive
- 16:33Speaker 2: and asks to initialize it, but whenever I try, it
- 16:37Speaker 2: fails due to an iodevice error. So I'm not sure
- 16:40Speaker 2: what's wrong. I'm hoping the drive isn't dead. I'm hoping
- 16:43Speaker 2: there's a way I can work something around it, or
- 16:45Speaker 2: maybe there's like an incompatibility issue with my particular motherboard.
- 16:49Speaker 2: I don't know what the issue is. I'm just hoping
- 16:52Speaker 2: there's a way I can still use it. I bought
- 16:55Speaker 2: a three point five inch enclosure which will allow me
- 16:58Speaker 2: to use an in turn drive as if it were
- 17:01Speaker 2: an external drive, so you have to power it up,
- 17:03Speaker 2: but you can plug it in via USB port. Hopefully
- 17:07Speaker 2: that will work, which will mean that I can save.
- 17:10Speaker 1: That stuffs running a Yeah, and I can.
- 17:13Speaker 2: I can get it backed up to my server asap.
- 17:16Speaker 2: I've already got a ten terabyte drive that was still
- 17:19Speaker 2: in the package is. I got it for free from
- 17:23Speaker 2: a friend who was like, hey, I don't need this,
- 17:25Speaker 2: you need I was like, yes, I will take a
- 17:28Speaker 2: ten terabyte drive for it might be used. It might
- 17:33Speaker 2: be your furbished I have no idea, but it's still
- 17:35Speaker 2: in the plastic wrap, so I'm hoping it's actually new.
- 17:38Speaker 2: I'm gonna I'm gonna add that to my server because
- 17:40Speaker 2: my server is actually starting to run out of space.
- 17:43Speaker 2: I've been adding so many episodes of The Chase to
- 17:45Speaker 2: my media server just so I can watch game shows
- 17:48Speaker 2: whenever I want and just enjoy the quizzing. But yeah,
- 17:54Speaker 2: and the last thing I'm gonna talk about real quick.
- 17:56Speaker 2: There's a show called Ludwig on brit Box. The American
- 18:01Speaker 2: based British streaming services streams British shows. Ludwig is a
- 18:07Speaker 2: comedy mystery series Why and It starts David Mitchell, one
- 18:11Speaker 2: of my favorite British comedians of all time, as the
- 18:14Speaker 2: twin brother of a police inspector who goes missing and
- 18:20Speaker 2: tells his wife not to trust anybody from the police department.
- 18:24Speaker 2: She freaks out and asks his twin brother, who is
- 18:28Speaker 2: I think autistic or mildly autistic, who is a puzzle creator.
- 18:34Speaker 2: So and she asks him to just step in and
- 18:37Speaker 2: pretend to be her husband and go to work and
- 18:41Speaker 2: try and find out what happened to his missing brother
- 18:44Speaker 2: and her missing husband. And so he steps it just
- 18:49Speaker 2: really nervous. That the first episode is amazing. He just
- 18:52Speaker 2: goes in there really nervously, you know, trying to pretend
- 18:55Speaker 2: to be his brother and just going about and it's
- 18:58Speaker 2: it's really funny, but it's also really really touching. It's
- 19:03Speaker 2: incredibly well written. The plot is great. The first mystery
- 19:07Speaker 2: is kind of but that episode is more concerned with
- 19:11Speaker 2: setting up the general plot and setting up these characters
- 19:14Speaker 2: than it is about the actual mystery itself. The mysteries
- 19:17Speaker 2: got better in succeeding episodes. I've only seen episodes one
- 19:21Speaker 2: through three. I watched them last night with my dad
- 19:24Speaker 2: and we had a great time. I've fallen in love
- 19:28Speaker 2: with this show, and the sad part is there's only
- 19:30Speaker 2: six episodes out oh no total. They only did one
- 19:33Speaker 2: series so far and it ends in episode six, so
- 19:36Speaker 2: I only have three more episodes to watch. But if
- 19:38Speaker 2: you have BritBox or interested in British TV at all,
- 19:41Speaker 2: Ludwig is one hundred percent worth it. I enjoyed the
- 19:44Speaker 2: shit out of it and it is great. It is
- 19:47Speaker 2: It is hilarious and the mysteries are good, and those
- 19:49Speaker 2: two things together rarely happen. Either a show is gonna
- 19:53Speaker 2: be a good comedy and the mystery is gonna be
- 19:56Speaker 2: eh or the mystery is gonna be good but it's
- 19:58Speaker 2: not gonna be that funny. The only other show I
- 20:01Speaker 2: can think of that pulls that off is the one
- 20:03Speaker 2: Alan Davies was in with the Jonathan Creek. That show
- 20:07Speaker 2: had some incredible mysteries and some hilarious moments. So anyway,
- 20:13Speaker 2: I highly recommend it if you are ever interested in
- 20:16Speaker 2: British TV at all. Brit Box is great and it's
- 20:20Speaker 2: not expensive either. I got my dad, like a year's
- 20:22Speaker 2: subscription for sixty bucks. I think, damn same as dropout.
- 20:28Speaker 2: That's what dropout costs for a year, and I love
- 20:30Speaker 2: that fucking I'll pay that any fucking day.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Hell yeah, all right, so.
- 20:35Speaker 2: Shall we go to a quick break and then when
- 20:37Speaker 2: we come back we can talk about what you guys
- 20:38Speaker 2: been up to. Yes, sir, we'll be right back right
- 20:42Speaker 2: after this.
- 20:52Speaker 5: Awesome.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Yeah. I fell back because I went on social media
- 20:54Speaker 2: and I was like, I want to tell people about
- 20:55Speaker 2: this show, and I kept calling it Ludwig with a
- 20:58Speaker 2: V instead of a W.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Why is it not finding?
- 21:04Speaker 2: The good thing about that is that, you know, search
- 21:07Speaker 2: programs are usually good enough to tell when something is
- 21:09Speaker 2: one letter off and you really mean Ludwig the show?
- 21:13Speaker 1: You mean this, do not? We got a couple of comments.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Okay, hell getting forward to this. Did we have one
- 21:21Speaker 2: from last time we didn't play?
- 21:23Speaker 1: You have one on there?
- 21:24Speaker 2: Right?
- 21:24Speaker 1: It's like really fast one or something. Yeah, yeah, we'll
- 21:27Speaker 1: play that. Okay, Google, have you ready, let's do it?
- 21:32Speaker 2: Kay, we'll go back and five. Oh are you playing
- 21:35Speaker 2: the music or are we doing the separate thing music?
- 21:38Speaker 1: Oh?
- 21:38Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah we're no, we'll do the music because when
- 21:41Speaker 2: we do a chill show, we usually do the voicemails
- 21:43Speaker 2: and mails as a heart. Yeah, we only separate it
- 21:47Speaker 2: when we have like guests or.
- 21:52Speaker 1: You change.
- 21:52Speaker 2: Go ahead and start the music.
- 21:53Speaker 3: Yeah, we'll go ahead and in five four three.
- 21:58Speaker 5: Hey, Jeff, Yeah, Jeff. Remember yesterday I was telling you
- 22:01Speaker 5: how I wished I could have seen one of Billy
- 22:03Speaker 5: Joel's sold out shows at Madison Square Garden.
- 22:06Speaker 4: Yeah, I said, you should go see Taylor Swift instead.
- 22:09Speaker 4: She's the modern day Billy Joel.
- 22:10Speaker 5: Well, today my phone said I should read an interview
- 22:13Speaker 5: with Billy Joel where he talks about both retirement and
- 22:15Speaker 5: Taylor Swift.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Oh.
- 22:17Speaker 4: Man, it's always so creepy when that happens.
- 22:20Speaker 5: We should do a podcast about how our devices are
- 22:22Speaker 5: always listening to us.
- 22:24Speaker 2: We already do.
- 22:24Speaker 4: It's called Suggested Articles, a podcast we talk about how
- 22:28Speaker 4: technology is always spying on us and how those tech
- 22:30Speaker 4: corporations are such big buttholes.
- 22:32Speaker 5: Dude, you can't say buttholes on a podcast.
- 22:34Speaker 4: Promo, Dude, we already did twice.
- 22:37Speaker 5: Join us every other Monday on Suggested Articles, the podcast
- 22:41Speaker 5: on your favorite podcast app, part.
- 22:43Speaker 4: Of the Odd Pods media network.
- 22:45Speaker 6: Each of us identify with one of the Golden Girls.
- 22:48Speaker 6: I'm Sophia, Aaron is Dorothy, Kristen is sweet Rose. And
- 22:54Speaker 6: each week we'll have a guest sit in the Blanche
- 22:57Speaker 6: spot the naughty Seat. Come join us on the Lunai
- 23:00Speaker 6: for some cheesecake.
- 23:01Speaker 5: Part of the Media Network.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Hey man, welcome back. It's time for part two of
- 23:16Speaker 2: our our shorter chill show. But I'm pleased to say
- 23:20Speaker 2: we actually have some voicemails and comments to go over.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, ude, like people said stuff.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Holy shit, it's a voicemail for the first time.
- 23:26Speaker 1: And how long uh four weeks? Oh my god, I'm guessing.
- 23:30Speaker 1: I really don't know.
- 23:32Speaker 2: This message has been here for a bit.
- 23:33Speaker 3: It's just we've had guests.
- 23:35Speaker 2: Yeah, it's hard to bring the voicemails in. We guests,
- 23:38Speaker 2: so we just don't want to make them sit through
- 23:41Speaker 2: our stuff, like yeah, you know, and and we usually
- 23:44Speaker 2: forget to do it after they're gone. Ye, but it
- 23:47Speaker 2: does happen anyway. Uh, why don't you play or voicemail
- 23:51Speaker 2: for us? Yeah, let's give you a listen.
- 23:54Speaker 6: I'm just waiting for Coop to respond.
- 23:57Speaker 5: Kissing some ass. The fucker loves to get some ass.
- 24:03Speaker 3: I think we've played that one before.
- 24:05Speaker 2: What the fuck? I don't remember that.
- 24:06Speaker 1: No, it was the first time I hear. So I'm
- 24:10Speaker 1: assuming that who the fuck is Coop? I'm assuming Cooper
- 24:13Speaker 1: Man from the Garmy. Okay, I don't remember what this
- 24:21Speaker 1: is in reference to, but I agree.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Well, why don't What the fuck?
- 24:28Speaker 1: Oh, you wanted a voicemail, you got one.
- 24:30Speaker 3: I'm just happy, I guess last week said to somebody call.
- 24:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, it's fine. I'm happy to have it.
- 24:38Speaker 2: I don't understand it, but I'm thanking you for submitting
- 24:41Speaker 2: to you, whoever the fuck you are. Thank you for
- 24:45Speaker 2: that much. Appreciate it. All right? What else we got?
- 24:49Speaker 2: We got comments?
- 24:49Speaker 1: We do? We have our some of our bonus material
- 24:53Speaker 1: for Patreon. Yeah, yeah, the pre show and our breaks
- 24:57Speaker 1: that we throw on for Patreon.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Little Oh from episode two six three with Aaron, Jeff
- 25:01Speaker 2: and Jeff of suggested articles. It was the episode you
- 25:04Speaker 2: weren't here for.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Yeah, you unfortunately missed it because he was dead. He
- 25:09Speaker 1: called off dead day.
- 25:12Speaker 5: By.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Jeff s commented commented that two F Jeff guy sounds
- 25:16Speaker 1: pretty cool.
- 25:18Speaker 2: You would say that that was the two F Jeff guy.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Oh shit, that all makes sense.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Now, well, thank you to F Jeff for implying that
- 25:26Speaker 2: to F Jeff is awesome. Yes, appreciate it's true, all right.
- 25:31Speaker 2: And then this is from the episode before that, episode
- 25:34Speaker 2: two sixty two Potty Humor. We did have a lot
- 25:38Speaker 2: of toilet themeed stuff.
- 25:39Speaker 1: In this episode that was fun.
- 25:42Speaker 2: What do we got?
- 25:43Speaker 1: It came from William or Bill m who was on
- 25:46Speaker 1: our show not too long ago. Hell yeah, can I
- 25:49Speaker 1: make the suggestion at the end of the cost is correct, Aaron,
- 25:53Speaker 1: do a Bob Barker and say on pantsless Aaron, reminding
- 25:57Speaker 1: you of the spade and new to your podcasters.
- 26:01Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, we shouldn't be allowed to breed. I
- 26:05Speaker 2: mean really, I am a danger to myself and others. No,
- 26:10Speaker 2: it's accurate. Thank you, William. That's de lifeful. I might
- 26:13Speaker 2: just take you up on that. I might. I don't know.
- 26:16Speaker 2: I'll think about it. I'll think about it. But that's
- 26:19Speaker 2: the thank you for that much appreciate it. If anyone
- 26:21Speaker 2: wants to leave comments on our shows and stuff, you
- 26:24Speaker 2: just have to joined our patreon. It's patreon dot com
- 26:27Speaker 2: slash bfy t W. However, leaving a voicemail is free.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Just go to bfytwpod dot com. Go to the contact
- 26:33Speaker 2: us section of our website. There's a widget right on it.
- 26:36Speaker 2: You can use it straight from your phone, and it
- 26:38Speaker 2: allows you to leave a ninety second voicemail. It's easy.
- 26:41Speaker 2: I've done it. If I can do it, any idiot
- 26:43Speaker 2: can do it, because I am an idiot. So please
- 26:49Speaker 2: do and let us know and say whatever ridiculous thing
- 26:53Speaker 2: about Coop you want to say. Yeah, I guess we'll
- 26:56Speaker 2: just be happy to hear it. Apparently, so.
- 27:00Speaker 1: If you're listening to this, you are the best substitute
- 27:03Speaker 1: for Ralph that one episode in April last year.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Okay, I still didn't know what the fun that means?
- 27:09Speaker 2: I know, but well let's move on. Who does so, gents,
- 27:13Speaker 2: what have you guys? I've been talking a lot, but
- 27:15Speaker 2: what have you guys been up to this past week?
- 27:18Speaker 1: Oh? Ah, you want to go first? You want me to?
- 27:20Speaker 3: I mean, I've not really been up to much of.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Anything you were. It's another reason that, strangely enough, but
- 27:28Speaker 2: another reason this episode is going to be short. He
- 27:30Speaker 2: doesn't have much to contribute this time, like literally out
- 27:34Speaker 2: literally fucking bed ridden, so literally bed ridden you couldn't
- 27:39Speaker 2: get out of bed.
- 27:40Speaker 3: It was strange. Like the day one, it was like
- 27:43Speaker 3: all chills, couldn't get out of bed, but for like
- 27:46Speaker 3: five seconds felt like I was like taking a dip
- 27:48Speaker 3: in an ice bath. Second day though, was just all heat,
- 27:52Speaker 3: like my body just kept overheating. I had to take
- 27:55Speaker 3: off articles of clothes because I was just burning up.
- 27:58Speaker 1: I started playing good music and throwing dollars at them.
- 28:02Speaker 3: Didn't help, though I was able to buy some stuff
- 28:09Speaker 3: made me feel better.
- 28:12Speaker 2: Retail therapy.
- 28:13Speaker 3: Retail therapy. Yeah, And then after that it was just
- 28:15Speaker 3: basically just like just getting everything out and then that
- 28:20Speaker 3: was fine. After like four days it was weird and
- 28:23Speaker 3: it was again it wasn't COVID like we tested for
- 28:25Speaker 3: and everything, so it was just just weird cold that
- 28:28Speaker 3: came out of nowhere. Have no idea where I got
- 28:30Speaker 3: it from. I blamed the poutine.
- 28:33Speaker 2: It was the It did take effect shortly after that.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Day and a half after.
- 28:38Speaker 3: To be fair, I also hadn't drank anything since like Vegas.
- 28:43Speaker 1: I haven't drink that night and I hadn't drink that
- 28:45Speaker 1: so I.
- 28:45Speaker 3: Think I'm taking the fitting of the blood and then
- 28:48Speaker 3: like the chill of the night probably did it.
- 28:50Speaker 2: And maybe I'm just glad.
- 28:53Speaker 3: It was just gravy and cheese curds and so good.
- 29:03Speaker 2: Anyway, Stevie, what about you, sir? Aside from taking care.
- 29:07Speaker 1: Of Oh, yeah, pretty much. I walked by him. You good, Yeah,
- 29:10Speaker 1: you a lie. I'll check on pretty much. That's all.
- 29:15Speaker 1: It was, honestly, mostly that and working. I've been working
- 29:21Speaker 1: my ass off the past few months actually taking Yeah,
- 29:26Speaker 1: it's why. Okay, so our kitchen. Our kitchen went from
- 29:32Speaker 1: a three person kitchen to a two person kitchen, and
- 29:35Speaker 1: the other person the other person had some family issues
- 29:39Speaker 1: and then some other issues, so it was it was
- 29:41Speaker 1: a Stephen kitchen for a little bit, just Steven. Sometimes
- 29:45Speaker 1: they would send a substitute who didn't know what the
- 29:48Speaker 1: fuck they were doing. Now. She was cool, she was
- 29:50Speaker 1: fun to hang out with. But I work better by myself.
- 29:54Speaker 1: I think in those situations it's like no, because if
- 29:57Speaker 1: I had to tell you where something is, it just
- 29:58Speaker 1: takes time away from me. Just do I don't know
- 30:01Speaker 1: if that makes sense anybody else out there, but for me,
- 30:03Speaker 1: it's like you're my way.
- 30:05Speaker 2: I guess the first time. But if we're talking like
- 30:07Speaker 2: a permanent edition, then.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Oh no, it's not permanent.
- 30:10Speaker 2: I was gonna say they'll they'll actually save time because
- 30:12Speaker 2: they'll know from then on in the future they can
- 30:15Speaker 2: just go get it and save you the time. But like,
- 30:17Speaker 2: if it's just a one person showing up for one.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Day, yeah, it's not really that not really worth it.
- 30:23Speaker 1: So getting ready for spring break, gave spring break. We're
- 30:26Speaker 1: in spring break. Whoooo the other.
- 30:30Speaker 2: Person you're going to having just one person?
- 30:33Speaker 1: Yeah, Well the other person came back and she was
- 30:35Speaker 1: here for a little bit, had taken another day or
- 30:37Speaker 1: two off. I was like, that's cool, that's cool. So
- 30:39Speaker 1: I took I took a sick day, cough, sick day,
- 30:42Speaker 1: and then she was cool with that and took over.
- 30:44Speaker 1: And then coming back from spring break, I'm like, all right,
- 30:47Speaker 1: we get like a week and a day off is
- 30:49Speaker 1: gonna be great. She's like, yeah, I'm not coming back
- 30:51Speaker 1: to the week after that though, It's like okay, cool.
- 30:55Speaker 1: So it's like kitchen again. I'm like, all right, so
- 30:57Speaker 1: I'm getting all prepared for that week, me by myself,
- 31:00Speaker 1: no trucks coming in. So we had to order three
- 31:01Speaker 1: weeks worth of stuff already and got it packed away right,
- 31:04Speaker 1: Like it's all messed up, and I'm like all right, cool,
- 31:08Speaker 1: and then she informs me, probably not coming back next
- 31:11Speaker 1: year to see you though.
- 31:13Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Oh so at first I was like, you're not coming
- 31:17Speaker 1: back next year. I'm not fucking coming.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Back next year.
- 31:21Speaker 1: I don't give up.
- 31:22Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 31:23Speaker 1: He's like, I will make money somehow podcasting. I don't
- 31:28Speaker 1: give a fuck. And that's how it was for like
- 31:30Speaker 1: the first forty minutes. And then the kids kept coming
- 31:33Speaker 1: by and saying Hi, I'm talking to me and stuff,
- 31:35Speaker 1: and then.
- 31:35Speaker 2: We need a lot more names on this list, roughly
- 31:39Speaker 2: ten times, right.
- 31:41Speaker 1: We gott we gotta, we gotta, we gotta. We got
- 31:43Speaker 1: to increase that a little bit. But then they got
- 31:46Speaker 1: me all like liking them and stuff and happy that
- 31:50Speaker 1: I like my job and I'm feeding kids and crap.
- 31:53Speaker 1: So I was like, yeah, I'll probably come back, and
- 31:55Speaker 1: she's like, yeah, it's give me your kischen r fucking
- 31:57Speaker 1: kitchen blah blah blah.
- 32:00Speaker 2: I know.
- 32:04Speaker 1: So, I mean it kind of sucks. At the same time,
- 32:06Speaker 1: I'm like, I've already ran it. So it's like whatever,
- 32:08Speaker 1: I've already done everything in this kitchen, so it's not
- 32:10Speaker 1: a big deal.
- 32:11Speaker 2: But it's a lot of work for one person it is.
- 32:14Speaker 1: I mean, they'll hire somebody else to be by cashier prep.
- 32:17Speaker 1: What should be fine, what should be cool? I'm assuming
- 32:20Speaker 1: or I will go insane. I don't know yet. I'll
- 32:23Speaker 1: figure out. But the best part about this job is
- 32:26Speaker 1: I've been posting a fuck don of fucking food pictures
- 32:28Speaker 1: on like Instagram and ship and it's been fun as hell.
- 32:32Speaker 1: I've been loving it.
- 32:33Speaker 6: Man.
- 32:34Speaker 2: I've seen some of the pictures you posted and like,
- 32:35Speaker 2: he's really enjoying his food now, really really is fun.
- 32:39Speaker 2: It makes me happy to see me.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I really do miss it and like that the
- 32:42Speaker 1: whole week when I come back. Dude, it's all gonna
- 32:44Speaker 1: everything is to be like pictures anglers lighting.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Well, I'm happy you're at least enjoying it. It sucks
- 32:50Speaker 2: that you're getting dog piled with more work dogs.
- 32:53Speaker 1: But you know what you're gonna do. You gonna you
- 32:55Speaker 1: gotta do what you gotta do, and at least I'm
- 32:57Speaker 1: doing something.
- 32:57Speaker 2: I guess. I just hope your company continues to take
- 32:59Speaker 2: care of you the way they have in the past. Yeah,
- 33:01Speaker 2: So as long as they do that, then I'm.
- 33:03Speaker 1: Cool with it exactly.
- 33:05Speaker 2: But enough about fucking work. Yeah, that's fun. Yeah, thing
- 33:09Speaker 2: fun you've been up to? So since I installed supposed
- 33:12Speaker 2: to be yeah, like I installed my twelve terrorbyte drive
- 33:15Speaker 2: didn't go so well.
- 33:16Speaker 1: Well, I did install a four terabyte M dot two
- 33:18Speaker 1: drive and that one that was in my.
- 33:20Speaker 2: Gaming terabyte dot two drive.
- 33:23Speaker 1: She's a nine ninety pro something.
- 33:25Speaker 2: Fucking hell refurbished from x Y Samsung.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Yeah things, dude. Oh I was like, oh, now I
- 33:32Speaker 1: can install more than just Call of Duty and one
- 33:34Speaker 1: other game on my ship.
- 33:36Speaker 2: I mean, what did you place a five hundred gig.
- 33:39Speaker 1: No, it was a terribyte, but still it had my
- 33:41Speaker 1: she had my operating system on there, and the anything
- 33:44Speaker 1: I had is a two terribyte like SSD three point five,
- 33:48Speaker 1: you know, so and I had my games on it.
- 33:51Speaker 1: But yeah, putting that pitch on there, and I'm like,
- 33:53Speaker 1: oh fuck, sitting downloads faster, installs fast all day. So
- 33:58Speaker 1: I'm just like installing everything right now and it's great.
- 34:01Speaker 1: So I got OBS reinstalled on my on my gaming
- 34:04Speaker 1: computer for right now until I'm able to get to
- 34:06Speaker 1: the capture card for the other one. But I'm starting
- 34:09Speaker 1: to build my background, my break slides, all this stuff
- 34:13Speaker 1: because uh, summer vacation. I'm getting hard into streaming man.
- 34:16Speaker 1: Oh really yeah yeah, I'm doing like probably three days
- 34:18Speaker 1: a week throughout the week. I'm gonna be doing a
- 34:21Speaker 1: wide variety. I put a small little pull up to
- 34:24Speaker 1: see I put my normal ship like Call of Duty,
- 34:26Speaker 1: war Zone. I fucking put like boulders Gate three, and
- 34:30Speaker 1: I was like others and mixes and stuff, and that
- 34:32Speaker 1: one most out of it. So I'm gonna start something
- 34:35Speaker 1: like Doom, then go to Doom too, and then I'm
- 34:40Speaker 1: gonna switch over and going right from there to that
- 34:42Speaker 1: saying no more. That Aggie got me really yeah, because
- 34:45Speaker 1: that's I was like, I'm just gonna start mixing it
- 34:48Speaker 1: up like hard, just like I'm gonna start.
- 34:49Speaker 2: Throwing weird No, no, not, I know it's not. I
- 34:55Speaker 2: know it's not nostalgic for you, but having beaten it myself, yeah,
- 34:59Speaker 2: it's it's where playing.
- 35:00Speaker 1: No it is.
- 35:01Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a good game.
- 35:03Speaker 1: It is, No, it really is.
- 35:04Speaker 2: It kind of feels oddly less like Doom.
- 35:07Speaker 1: Right, it's a different, but the Doom. It's a game
- 35:10Speaker 1: with the Doom skin on it.
- 35:12Speaker 2: It is. It's got it's got Doom. It does have
- 35:16Speaker 2: the horror like jump scares that the original Dum had,
- 35:19Speaker 2: like you'd collect the key and you wouldn't know it
- 35:21Speaker 2: because it happened. Not only but a door behind you
- 35:23Speaker 2: would open, the room would suddenly be full of monsters.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Lights all go off of what the song's hitting me.
- 35:31Speaker 2: I don't know what ship. Yeah, like the invisible fucking Demon.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Like I'd like to. I'd like to go through the
- 35:35Speaker 1: whole run of them at some point. But I know
- 35:37Speaker 1: for streaming, especially for me, I can run through the
- 35:40Speaker 1: entire Doom like the first game, all three chapters in
- 35:43Speaker 1: a stream. That's not gonna be a problem. Doom too,
- 35:45Speaker 1: I probably do that in a stream and a half,
- 35:47Speaker 1: maybe two, but doing one of those other ones three
- 35:50Speaker 1: and then then.
- 35:51Speaker 2: I also I also enjoyed both modern games. I thought
- 35:54Speaker 2: both were great. I am there. They are very different
- 35:58Speaker 2: though they are everything well, it's the emphasis on platforming
- 36:02Speaker 2: that kind of threw me for a loop, but it
- 36:04Speaker 2: also makes the combat super fucking like I want to say,
- 36:10Speaker 2: not not only intense, but also like kind of acrobatic,
- 36:14Speaker 2: like I had. I had battles where I was just
- 36:16Speaker 2: like I would just like blast something, and then like
- 36:19Speaker 2: I see that things are getting too close to me.
- 36:21Speaker 2: So I just turn and fucking jump, grab onto a pole,
- 36:24Speaker 2: swing off it, land like you know, like six meters
- 36:28Speaker 2: away on the edge of a platform, turn around and
- 36:30Speaker 2: just start gunning on the side. And it felt like
- 36:33Speaker 2: such a badass like honestly.
- 36:35Speaker 1: Or even the glory kills coming from like underneath the platform.
- 36:38Speaker 2: And there's so many different ones, all enemies. It's incredible.
- 36:43Speaker 1: I do love that shit, I get it. Both games
- 36:46Speaker 1: are great because that version, like I love.
- 36:49Speaker 2: I'm excited for the first school of the Medieval. The
- 36:52Speaker 2: Dark Ages is what I think I got.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't remember. And that's what I like about
- 36:56Speaker 1: the new ones. They got that call of duty movement
- 36:58Speaker 1: and all that. This one's gonna be a little it's
- 37:00Speaker 1: slower than that one, still faster than the originals, obviously,
- 37:04Speaker 1: But fuck dude, I was. I was ready to drop
- 37:07Speaker 1: the two fifty three hundred bucks on that special version.
- 37:10Speaker 1: I was until I saw it wasn't a goddamn helmet,
- 37:13Speaker 1: it wasn't a Doulbelle shotgun, and it wasn't that fucking
- 37:15Speaker 1: chainsaw shield. And I'm just like, it's a figurine, which
- 37:18Speaker 1: looks badass, not two hundred dollars badass, I'm like, and
- 37:22Speaker 1: then come to find out the game's coming out on
- 37:23Speaker 1: game Pass for free Anywayikes, yeah, so I'm gonna have
- 37:27Speaker 1: it anyway. So yeah, it kind of sucks because I
- 37:31Speaker 1: support them, but I'm like, I would support you guys
- 37:33Speaker 1: better if you pick the right fucking thing to put
- 37:34Speaker 1: in there. Dummies, you should know by now. You fucking
- 37:38Speaker 1: know by now. But I am excited, and then I
- 37:40Speaker 1: can't fucking wait, dude, I'm been playing that shit.
- 37:43Speaker 2: It's gonna be a good time.
- 37:44Speaker 1: I have been playing Bulder's Gate three, and I've been
- 37:48Speaker 1: playing non traditionally. I am playing a rogue, and I
- 37:52Speaker 1: am playing on the evil scale of things, and I
- 37:54Speaker 1: am apparently wiping out main characters that I no longer
- 37:58Speaker 1: have powery remembers for now. I stripped the vampire completely
- 38:03Speaker 1: naked other than his skibbies when he's at fucking camp
- 38:06Speaker 1: because he tried fucking ganking me and I got him,
- 38:08Speaker 1: and I was like, nope, I ended up pickpucking in
- 38:10Speaker 1: him during his dialogue with my older character, took all
- 38:14Speaker 1: his clothes and all this shit, and then it ran away.
- 38:18Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, maybe back in camp and he's
- 38:20Speaker 1: the only one that has nothing like no fuck you. You
- 38:22Speaker 1: don't get anything. You don't get the feed, you don't
- 38:24Speaker 1: get shit fucking. At one point, I was jumping over
- 38:29Speaker 1: a stream and one of the main character Barbarians.
- 38:32Speaker 2: Saw me.
- 38:32Speaker 1: I've never interacted with her in this play through yet
- 38:34Speaker 1: at all, sees me hurt of my reputations, like there
- 38:38Speaker 1: she's there to kill me, and I'm like, I don't
- 38:39Speaker 1: even know who you are. That was one of her
- 38:41Speaker 1: responses because we never met. I was like, yeah, that,
- 38:44Speaker 1: I don't even know who you are and ended up
- 38:46Speaker 1: killing her. I'm like, oh, I guess she's not gonna
- 38:47Speaker 1: be part of our our party member. Later, either destroyed
- 38:50Speaker 1: all the druids in the Druid camp. I befriended all
- 38:53Speaker 1: the goblins. Yeah, oh my god, dude, she got like
- 38:58Speaker 1: she one step over that fucking river bed man. She
- 39:01Speaker 1: got destroyed. But it's been fun, man, Like all the
- 39:05Speaker 1: goblins left the Goblin camp, they all live, and now
- 39:07Speaker 1: the Druids on Clays that we took over. It was great, dude.
- 39:11Speaker 1: I went in and started to just slashing at people.
- 39:13Speaker 1: I didn't have to kill any of the kids, which
- 39:14Speaker 1: is kind of nice. They were all dead by the goblins.
- 39:16Speaker 1: The goblins did all the dirty work. I have called
- 39:18Speaker 1: the adults.
- 39:19Speaker 2: Jesus lost two.
- 39:20Speaker 1: More playable characters there because I had to kill all
- 39:22Speaker 1: of them. They're attacked me. Wow, but dude, it's been
- 39:27Speaker 1: so much fun because you can really do what you
- 39:29Speaker 1: want with it.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:30Speaker 1: At one point, I have one person. I had one
- 39:32Speaker 1: person digging out my eyeball. I was like, fucking do it,
- 39:35Speaker 1: and I'm like, why not, fucking I me even I
- 39:37Speaker 1: don't give a funk. I'll get a new one, like
- 39:38Speaker 1: I don't give a shit. And it's so much fun.
- 39:40Speaker 1: I opened up a Knuckermancer's book. Holy fuck, dude, I've
- 39:45Speaker 1: read all through it like it's gonna get fucking mean.
- 39:47Speaker 1: It's great. I'm I'm fucking loving bulgers Gate. It's it's
- 39:51Speaker 1: role playing without my friends.
- 39:52Speaker 2: What's funny is I know what you're talking about with
- 39:55Speaker 2: getting your eye dug out, And what's funny is like
- 39:58Speaker 2: you actually wind up with something better. However, that sequence
- 40:04Speaker 2: is so fucking horrifying. I literally couldn't watch it. I
- 40:08Speaker 2: was like, no, no thing they cut away yea, and
- 40:12Speaker 2: I still couldn't hear it. No, no, no, no, no, no no.
- 40:15Speaker 2: It was like, absolutely not. But it does give you
- 40:18Speaker 2: an in game bonus that you can't get otherwise.
- 40:21Speaker 1: Like, it's fucking awesome.
- 40:23Speaker 2: I don't remember what it is, but I remember. Damn,
- 40:25Speaker 2: that's worth it. Damn that's crazy.
- 40:28Speaker 1: It really is.
- 40:29Speaker 2: It's wild. It's absolutely yeah.
- 40:30Speaker 1: If you want to watch me play some video game.
- 40:32Speaker 2: That that game Baldis Gate three. They did such an
- 40:34Speaker 2: amazing job.
- 40:35Speaker 1: The new patch is coming out to cross platform patch.
- 40:39Speaker 1: Oh shit, new subclasses, new subclasses because mister bs Mattan
- 40:46Speaker 1: we talked about this since it came out, Wen wanting
- 40:48Speaker 1: to play with us. He's gone through ten playthroughs. We've
- 40:51Speaker 1: gone through. I don't know how many. I haven't beat
- 40:52Speaker 1: it yet. I still make new characters every other week.
- 40:56Speaker 1: But we're actually gonna be able to play because he
- 40:58Speaker 1: plays on XBO And if you want to get down, dude,
- 41:02Speaker 1: I'll record it as a podcast just going through D
- 41:04Speaker 1: and D like that'd be fun as fuck. Rolling dice bitches.
