- 0:38SPEAKER_02: Um, I have with me today the co-founders and the scientific mind behind this amazing new line, Urja Beauty.
- 0:46SPEAKER_02: Um so without further ado, I want to introduce you guys to Molly R.
- 0:49SPEAKER_02: U and Dr.
- 0:49SPEAKER_02: Sherry Ross.
- 0:50SPEAKER_02: Thank you so much both for coming on to our little show.
- 0:53SPEAKER_02: It's such an honor to host you.
- 0:55SPEAKER_02: Thank you for having us.
- 0:56SPEAKER_02: This is great.
- 0:57SPEAKER_01: So excited to be here.
- 0:59SPEAKER_02: Awesome.
- 1:00SPEAKER_02: I I actually I'm so curious about um your whole brand journey because it's such a unique uh segue that you've created.
- 1:07SPEAKER_02: I don't know if it's a segue, but the transition from skincare into all the awesome products you have.
- 1:13SPEAKER_02: Um so can we start off by, you know, maybe Molly, you can begin us off with your uh career journey and just how you got involved in beauty.
- 1:21SPEAKER_03: Sure.
- 1:22SPEAKER_03: Um, so I'm almost 30 years old and my career journey is a lot.
- 1:28SPEAKER_03: Um, I've been a little bit all over the place, but I think that that's what really makes it special.
- 1:34SPEAKER_03: Um definitely brought me obviously to the place that I am today.
- 1:37SPEAKER_03: So I went to Pepperdown University and graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism.
- 1:42SPEAKER_03: Um, but while they're like really focused on internships in entertainment and fashion and beauty, um, even rewinding past, you know, uh before college, um, my first internship, so to speak, was working with my aunt Liz, who is the CEO of Ursia Beauty.
- 2:02SPEAKER_03: She's our third person in our um our founder group of Ursh Beauty.
- 2:07SPEAKER_03: And at the time she had an indie skincare brand and um it's you know, she's since sold it, but I worked with her um as well.
- 2:16SPEAKER_03: And, you know, that was kind of our first journey together, working together back in the day.
- 2:20SPEAKER_03: I think I was, you know, maybe 17.
- 2:22SPEAKER_03: But I've always loved my hands and beauty and entertainment and fashion and lifestyle.
- 2:28SPEAKER_03: Um, and right after Pepper 9, I got a job as a TV host working for Young Hollywood.
- 2:34SPEAKER_03: And while there, I really interviewed everyone and anyone in Hollywood from Gwen Stefani to Mark Cuban to 50 Cent, um influencers and Disney stars and entrepreneurs and food network stars, you name it.
- 2:52SPEAKER_03: Um, and loved, loved my experience there.
- 2:55SPEAKER_03: Really thought that was my dream job.
- 2:58SPEAKER_03: Little did I know, but on the side, um, really as a way to make more money, but also to expand my mind a little bit creatively, I opened a branding company in 2018 and very quickly realized that my talents were needed by friends, awesome friends who were female founders who had started digital apps or blogs or a shampoo line, um, and was spending a lot of time focusing on branding other companies.
- 3:29SPEAKER_03: And along came my aunt, Aunt Liz, uh, back into the picture.
- 3:34SPEAKER_03: And at the time she was working on the foundation of what is now Urja Beauty.
- 3:40SPEAKER_03: She was working with scientists to kind of pull together ingredients and develop a proprietary complex.
- 3:45SPEAKER_03: And she said, hey, you know, we have the making of the skincare line, but I need some branding help.
- 3:52SPEAKER_03: Would you, you know, be willing to come on and help?
- 3:54SPEAKER_03: So um that was really the start of Urja Beauty in 2018.
- 4:00SPEAKER_03: And in my personal life, I had some changes around that time and decided to move home to Scottsdale, Arizona by the beginning of 2019, um, which is where my aunt lives.
- 4:12SPEAKER_03: And it really allowed me to just focus solely on Urja.
- 4:18SPEAKER_03: And that was such an amazing gift because by the end of the year we launched Urja Beauty.
- 4:26SPEAKER_03: Um, and it's it's such a rewarding and fulfilling process.
- 4:29SPEAKER_03: And entrepreneurially, I I you know, I feel really fulfilled.
- 4:33SPEAKER_03: So I'm I know down I'm in the right place and the right time.
- 4:37SPEAKER_03: And it's been it's been an awesome, it's been an awesome process.
- 4:42SPEAKER_02: I love that.
- 4:43SPEAKER_02: And I love that you really applied all of that knowledge that you gained from your, you know, your career and into something that you really believe in.
- 4:50SPEAKER_02: I think that's really the heart of like innovation and discovery, in my opinion, because you know, we get all these experiences right, and then we have to apply it in one place sometimes to really see the results we want.
- 5:02SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
- 5:02SPEAKER_03: And sometimes you just don't know where life is leading you, you know, like it's like, why is this coming up?
- 5:08SPEAKER_03: Or why is this coming up?
- 5:09SPEAKER_03: Or, you know, why are all my friends reaching out about this?
- 5:11SPEAKER_03: And and I think sometimes when you can just take a step back and surrender and let go a little bit, um, things just naturally unfold and and it's it's really awesome when you're when you're living in what's meant what's meant to be.
- 5:26SPEAKER_03: It's it's just a special, special thing.
- 5:28SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, I totally agree.
- 5:30SPEAKER_02: And I, you know, I want to know more about Dr.
- 5:32SPEAKER_02: Sherry.
- 5:33SPEAKER_02: I want to know about your background because I, you know, I'm not gonna lie, this is amazing that you guys have this, you know, um, this intimates line.
- 5:39SPEAKER_02: I've I've never seen anything like it.
- 5:41SPEAKER_02: So can you tell us about um just how you got involved with Archie?
- 5:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah, well, so yeah, I have been a private uh private practice OBGYN for over 25 years, and um I started to um was just sort of wowed by my patients' stories and and what was happening, and I I ended up um authoring two books.
- 6:06SPEAKER_01: One was Sheology, um, The Definitive Guide to Women's Health, period, and the other was The Shequel, Sheology the SQL, because for me, learning about what women were missing or needing was really important, and so I really became a women's health advocate, an educator.
- 6:26SPEAKER_01: Um, and people really wanted to talk about their vaginas, like everyone wanted to know more, and and like I started to really sort of see the same problems that women were having, and you know, the vulva is is so temperamental and underserved in so many ways.
- 6:48SPEAKER_01: And so, you know, I realized that that that women, and I always would tell my patients, you know, if we took care of our vulva and vagina in the same way that we take care of our face, you know, with the same love and attention and cleansing products, hydrating, moisturizing, you know, if we did that for our lady parts, yeah, the the tissue, the the skin, it wouldn't become irritated or dry or maybe more potential infections, um really, you know, you know, acne, the the same thing.
- 7:27SPEAKER_01: So if we react here, like more reactionary.
- 7:29SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 7:30SPEAKER_01: I mean it's the same delicate tissue.
- 7:33SPEAKER_01: It's the same sense, sensitive, delicate tissue.
- 7:35SPEAKER_01: And so I said, look, you know, would you use the same bar of soap to clean your feet, your armpits, and your vulva, you know, you know, or your face, would you use all the you know, cleaning your face and your arms are you gonna then clean, you know, your face?
- 7:52SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 7:52SPEAKER_01: And most people don't, right?
- 7:54SPEAKER_01: We have special products.
- 7:55SPEAKER_01: So I said, it's the same idea.
- 7:57SPEAKER_01: You know, you have to think about your vulva and vagina in the same way you think about your face.
- 8:02SPEAKER_01: And and with that, you know, the light bulb goes off.
- 8:06SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, I get it.
- 8:07SPEAKER_01: But you know, through the book writing back in 2017, my book was very vagina-centric.
- 8:15SPEAKER_01: I mean, you know, I couldn't get any mainstream media to really cover the book because you couldn't say vagina on TV.
- 8:22SPEAKER_01: So yeah, yeah.
- 8:24SPEAKER_01: If you can't talk about your vagina, you know, how are we then to take care of it properly?
- 8:32SPEAKER_01: And so, you know, I think time and you know, I think Trump sort of created a little bit of a you know, the PC generation, the Me Too movement, you know, RBG.
- 8:42SPEAKER_01: I mean, we we were ourselves over the last three years.
- 8:46SPEAKER_01: And so now not only talking about our lady parts, right?
- 8:50SPEAKER_01: We're learning how to care for them.
- 8:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and I think that's so important because, you know, I'm not gonna lie, you know, being in the millennium generation, it's like watching how, you know, there was no talk at all about you know gynecologic health.
- 9:05SPEAKER_02: And now it's like, you know, in terms of daily care, I think women are coming out more with like this, you know, well, this is in my shower, right?
- 9:13SPEAKER_02: We have like sections in our shower.
- 9:14SPEAKER_02: So the the female health section, you know what I mean?
- 9:17SPEAKER_02: It's growing now.
- 9:18SPEAKER_02: And I think that's that's such a cool thing.
- 9:20SPEAKER_02: Finally, we're you know getting to that point.
- 9:23SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 9:24SPEAKER_01: And it's, you know, I mean, because I see, you know, if you think about all our daily hygiene habits and you know, what we have to do with our rituals to maintain hair and you know, these common irritants from the fragrant soaps to the detergents to to the pads to sanitary wipes, I mean, the list is long, you know, even in our clothing, um, it it causes a lot of dryness of the labia.
- 9:52SPEAKER_01: And I and I see it every day.
- 9:54SPEAKER_01: And if we were, you know, monster go-to sort of before Urja Intonance, I would always tell uh my patients, you know, extra virgin coconut oil, you know, get it over the get it online, put a handful in your bathtub, soak in it for 20 minutes.
- 10:10SPEAKER_01: You know, it was like this perfect ingredient to um hydrate the tissue.
- 10:16SPEAKER_01: It was just, you know, the best thing.
- 10:18SPEAKER_01: If anyone does that, they will self-size the skin gates.
- 10:23SPEAKER_01: Well, if you're doing that, if you're actually using a cleanser, you know, our personal wash, the vibrant V, you know, it's it's based on sort of this this the extra virgin coconut oil is this beautiful hydrator and it's anti-inflammatory and it's antimicrobial.
- 10:42SPEAKER_01: It's like this the perfect, you know, ingredients.
- 10:45SPEAKER_01: Like a powerhouse, yeah, powerhouse of ingredients.
- 10:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 10:49SPEAKER_02: So well, you know, I want to talk a little bit, I want to talk a little bit about the anti-inflammatory, if you don't mind, because you know, and this is a question towards both of you because I know that this is a like central point in your line and you know, across all three of the um the series, right?
- 11:04SPEAKER_02: The beauty, the raw, and the intimate series.
- 11:06SPEAKER_02: And I, you know, I really want to hone in on that because I think the word anti-aging should really be like kind of replaced, not replaced, but like, you know, augmented a little bit.
- 11:15SPEAKER_02: And I like anti-inflammatory a lot better because, you know, obviously, Dr.
- 11:19SPEAKER_02: Sherry, I'm sure, you know, I'm I'm not gonna go on a ramp, but you know, you know, and inflammation is the like the hallmark problem in so many medical problems, right?
- 11:28SPEAKER_02: Like the conditions.
- 11:29SPEAKER_02: So I really, really love that you both um, you know, you're standing behind this anti-inflammatory inflammatory concept.
- 11:35SPEAKER_02: So can um either of you comment on that?
- 11:37SPEAKER_02: Um, how you kind of came to that um, you know, decision that we're going to promote it, something as anti-inflammatory, because that's what your products are.
- 11:46SPEAKER_03: Yeah, well, when we were first um putting together the formulations for Ursha Beauty, my Aunt Liz, um, who was really heavy, you know, in picking every single ingredient, everything is very intentional about our ingredients across all collections of Ursha.
- 12:03SPEAKER_03: Um, she did a lot of work about focusing on anti-inflammatory ingredients, right?
- 12:09SPEAKER_03: Like think about your stomach and how much buzz is out there about your gut being inflamed or your stomach being inflamed or your body being inflamed.
- 12:17SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 12:17SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 12:18SPEAKER_03: Living this low anti-inflammatory lifestyle, which includes what you eat, what you put on and in your body, stress levels, all of that is just so important.
- 12:29SPEAKER_03: So that was really the beginning concept, URSIA, and we really focus on quieting skin stress and inflammation in the skin, right?
- 12:38SPEAKER_03: So your skin is your biggest organ.
- 12:41SPEAKER_03: And if your skin's freaking out, that's probably a sign that, you know, there's other parts to you that are maybe freaking out a little bit too.
- 12:48SPEAKER_03: So 2020 hello stress, um, you know, and masculine and all of that.
- 12:54SPEAKER_03: Um, but you know, your skin is really what's showing your body's um level of being inflamed, and that can come across in fine lines and wrinkles, in different types of skin irritation, and also, of course, in in blemishes.
- 13:10SPEAKER_03: Um, and so with Urja Beauty, we really focused on strong anti-inflammatory ingredients.
- 13:18SPEAKER_03: Uh, CBD, of course, um, uh, lots and lots of um good strong anti-inflammatory ingredients.
- 13:26SPEAKER_03: And then that was really brought over as well into the foundation, um, along with Sherry's help and Soleris, uh Sherry's selection of ingredients as well for Urja Intimates, because you're you're treating skin the same way.
- 13:38SPEAKER_03: It's just an intimate area as opposed to your face.
- 13:41SPEAKER_03: But all of our foundation is the same.
- 13:45SPEAKER_01: You know, and and I just wanted to add to that because you know, I always tell Paige that our periods are a really good barometer of our health and wellness.
- 13:55SPEAKER_01: You know, if we're really stressed or something's going on, you know, the first thing that really does arise your period.
- 14:02SPEAKER_01: Well, skin is no different to Molly's point, that it's really a barometer of how we are are feeding uh in the stress component way.
- 14:12SPEAKER_01: It's very, very there's an overlap.
- 14:14SPEAKER_01: But you know, the other word that I think is really important to add to this is also antioxidant, because it's it's these two things, anti-inflammatory and that are in our ingredients that that really do work to you know calm the skin and the wrinkles and and and this whole inflammatory component is so important, um, and they work together very, very well.
- 14:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and and and I think the antioxidant thing is is very important.
- 14:44SPEAKER_02: I know that skincare has definitely picked up on that um buzz, you know, over the years.
- 14:49SPEAKER_02: So um I'm glad that you here's the thing though, I'm glad the wording is the way it is, and that's kind of the point I really wanted to make.
- 14:55SPEAKER_02: I think you guys are really hitting the nail on the head with the anti-inflammatory because, you know, looking at, like you said, Molly, you touched upon like, you know, just different areas of our body and gut health, especially also, you know, um, we we focus so much on anti-inflammatory things, like don't eat like an acidic diet, you know, those kind of things.
- 15:12SPEAKER_02: So I don't see why we wouldn't focus on our skin the same way, especially, you know, like you said, all these processes are inflammatory processes.
- 15:19SPEAKER_02: So yeah, um, I love that.
- 15:21SPEAKER_02: I really love that.
- 15:22SPEAKER_02: And I actually want to dive a little bit more into the CBD because I think there's a lot of um question marks around CBD, right?
- 15:28SPEAKER_02: Like in the skincare industry, like how does it work?
- 15:30SPEAKER_02: Um, you know, what are the real active you know components that are that are helping with inflammation?
- 15:35SPEAKER_02: So can you guys comment on that?
- 15:36SPEAKER_02: I mean, when you were formulating, um, what were the properties that you really looked for in CBD?
- 15:42SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so for Urgia Intimates line, we use a broad spectrum CBD and mainly for its anti-inflammatory benefits, right?
- 15:51SPEAKER_03: It also helps with pain a little bit.
- 15:53SPEAKER_03: So there is C BD in our lubricant.
- 15:55SPEAKER_03: Um, but we've been careful to formulate with what we believe are the correct milligrams of CBD across our product.
- 16:04SPEAKER_03: Um and you know, not all CBD is created equal.
- 16:09SPEAKER_03: I think it's a little bit full of the wild, wild west, and everybody's just trying to um really figure it out.
- 16:16SPEAKER_03: But we 100% stand behind our CBD.
- 16:19SPEAKER_03: It's certified, it's tested, we know exactly where where it's coming from, it's THC-free.
- 16:26SPEAKER_03: Uh, so it's healthy, good, potent CBD that we're using.
- 16:30SPEAKER_03: Um, and we just really, you know, going back to the anti-inflammatory story, we recognize that CBD is a strong anti-inflammatory.
- 16:38SPEAKER_03: It's not our only anti-inflammatory ingredient, and we're definitely not just a CBD line.
- 16:43SPEAKER_03: We, you know, have vitamin C and probiotics and Bacucci oil and willow bark and hyaluronic acid and EBCO.
- 16:51SPEAKER_03: We have all the good stuff.
- 16:52SPEAKER_03: CBD is just one of those ingredients.
- 16:56SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 16:56SPEAKER_01: You know, I'm go ahead, sorry.
- 16:59SPEAKER_01: I was just gonna add, you know, because I think again, this sort of overlap with how soothing and anti-antiflammatory.
- 17:10SPEAKER_01: We use it, you know, in for for cramps.
- 17:13SPEAKER_01: We're using it now.
- 17:14SPEAKER_01: There's some tampons that actually have some CBD in it.
- 17:18SPEAKER_01: So it really does.
- 17:19SPEAKER_01: I mean, there's controversy, of course, but I think if it's um used responsibly, uh, it really has such a wonderful impact on our bodies.
- 17:29SPEAKER_01: And and I'm glad we're using it.
- 17:31SPEAKER_01: I'm excited that it's in Urshi Intimates, too.
- 17:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I I love that.
- 17:34SPEAKER_02: I'm really glad you guys were using C BD because I'm not gonna lie, when I first started using it in my skincare, I saw immediate results.
- 17:40SPEAKER_02: And I was really, really surprised.
- 17:42SPEAKER_02: I mean, I didn't know much about it in terms of like, you know, it it was just coming out for me.
- 17:46SPEAKER_02: Like I was just starting to see it um in some lines.
- 17:49SPEAKER_02: And at the time I had no idea how powerful of a you know agent it can really be in helping skin health.
- 17:54SPEAKER_02: So I I love that it's there, you know, in your in your formulations.
- 17:59SPEAKER_03: We do too.
- 18:00SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 18:01SPEAKER_02: Um, I want to ask you guys a little bit about your ideal consumer.
- 18:05SPEAKER_02: Um, I think, you know, especially, I think this is more of a question from Molly.
- 18:08SPEAKER_02: Um, you know, when you are developing a brand strategy, right?
- 18:12SPEAKER_02: Like I think most businesses want to have this target audience.
- 18:15SPEAKER_02: So when you were thinking of that, what what was your target audience?
- 18:19SPEAKER_03: You know, we had this conversation, and I know that you know Priscilla Martinez.
- 18:24SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 18:25SPEAKER_03: Love her.
- 18:26SPEAKER_03: Love Priscilla.
- 18:26SPEAKER_03: I believe she was on your podcast.
- 18:29SPEAKER_03: Um wonderful.
- 18:30SPEAKER_03: And we were speaking with her, and I'm like, Priscilla, you're right, you're like the ideal Urja Intimate now, you know.
- 18:37SPEAKER_03: Oh wow.
- 18:38SPEAKER_03: Um those that that don't know Priscilla, I mean, I think our ideal consumer is an empowered, um, middle-aged female, you know, somewhere in their 30s, 40s, even 50s, that is really interested in taking care of themselves and bettering themselves and indulging in a little self-care.
- 19:01SPEAKER_03: I mean, right?
- 19:01SPEAKER_03: 2020 has been the year of self-care.
- 19:04SPEAKER_03: And what does that look like to the modern world?
- 19:07SPEAKER_03: Um, is that just, you know, doing your workout and um drinking a smoothie now?
- 19:13SPEAKER_03: Or is it a step further than that?
- 19:15SPEAKER_03: Is it being mindful and finding some time to really take care of yourself and do things that make you feel good?
- 19:22SPEAKER_03: Um, and sometimes it's a mix of all of those, you know.
- 19:26SPEAKER_03: Liz always jokes, okay, well, I would put a face mask on and, you know, do my meditation if I had the time, if I had more than five minutes to myself, right?
- 19:35SPEAKER_03: Sometimes self-care is even just I'm using my favorite personal wash that has an adaptagen blend and that's good for me and good for my lady parts while I'm in the shower because it's empowering and it feels good.
- 19:47SPEAKER_03: Um, so I think you know, we're really just speaking to women who care about their bodies, what they put in their bodies, what they put on their bodies, um, and empowering to love themselves a bit more.
- 20:01SPEAKER_02: I love that.
- 20:02SPEAKER_02: I really love that.
- 20:03SPEAKER_02: And I think, you know, this really kind of adds to um, you know, Dr.
- 20:07SPEAKER_02: Sherry's point about how, you know, women weren't really talking about their vaginas or you know, women's health.
- 20:14SPEAKER_02: And I think being able to openly just feel comfortable for it with it, like especially, you know, seeing a line such as yours and then feeling like you know, this is made for someone like me, and you know, I relate to it, that's very empowering.
- 20:25SPEAKER_02: I really, really can say that.
- 20:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 20:28unknown: Yeah.
- 20:29SPEAKER_02: I I want to um actually ask.
- 20:31SPEAKER_01: Oh, go ahead.
- 20:32SPEAKER_01: Sorry, I'm sorry.
- 20:33SPEAKER_01: Well, I was just gonna say, you know, I think anyone that has a vagina, I think should be using a personal wash.
- 20:44SPEAKER_01: And you know, I'd like I like to message my my teens, you know, as soon as they're they're asking about care, and I usually pull out the the mirror and give look at the vagina, labia, and we're like vulva and how we're gonna clean it.
- 21:00SPEAKER_01: And you know, I just think everyone with a vagina should be using the right personal washes and using these ingredients.
- 21:09SPEAKER_01: You're really never too young start taking care of your vulva and vaginas.
- 21:14SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 21:15SPEAKER_02: So, can we go through, Dr.
- 21:16SPEAKER_02: Sherry, like a a routine that someone would, you know, just using or just products?
- 21:21SPEAKER_02: Because I want to actually outline that out for women, you know, listening that this is kind of the routine that you should follow.
- 21:27SPEAKER_02: Because growing up, I'm not gonna lie, there wasn't, you know, information about what is the what are the steps in taking care of your, you know, um, your reproductive health and taking care of your gynecologic health.
- 21:37SPEAKER_02: So can you kind of walk us through that, like a step by step, like um, you know, maybe using some examples of your line?
- 21:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, sure.
- 21:45SPEAKER_01: I mean, I, you know, look, like I said, I I think it's important, you know, the vagina is really not self cleaning.
- 21:54SPEAKER_01: Um, I mean, it sort of is, right?
- 21:56SPEAKER_01: It it's think about your oven at home.
- 21:58SPEAKER_01: Uh, it's Self-clean, but you still have to clean stone.
- 22:02SPEAKER_01: So the vulva and the entrance to the vagina, the introitus, you know, there's a lot of uh buildup from the bacteria from the anal air, from just sweat, from you know, your daily activities, and that area is prone to dirt, and it can cause you know blocked uh glands, there's a lot of hair follicles there, sweat glands.
- 22:27SPEAKER_01: So, really a healthy vagina needs that same hygienic attention daily.
- 22:34SPEAKER_01: So I would use the personal wash, just like you would use when you shower in the morning or at night, and you're cleaning your body.
- 22:41SPEAKER_01: Now, the good thing about the personal wash is you can really down the rest of your body because it feels so good.
- 22:46SPEAKER_01: And it's it's you know, between the coconut oil, the hyaluronic acid, you know, pasture flower extract, it's just in the bakuchi oil, it just feels really good.
- 22:54SPEAKER_01: But anyway, you're gonna clean the bola, right?
- 22:58SPEAKER_01: The outside of the vagina, and you're gonna clean around the um the lips or whatever you're gonna call that area, and then the entrance to the vagina, the introitus, you know, the urethra where the urine comes out, you're you're gonna clean that area too.
- 23:12SPEAKER_01: I usually clean into the entrance of the vagina at least a knuckle or two inside.
- 23:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you don't have to get in deep inside because there are very healthy bacteria that are taking care of the inside of the vagina.
- 23:29SPEAKER_01: The you know, just the tears, we have our eyes clean our eyeballs.
- 23:34SPEAKER_01: You know, the fat discharge is normal.
- 23:36SPEAKER_01: And depending where you are in your cycle, you know, you're gonna have different discharge.
- 23:40SPEAKER_01: But I would clean every day, you're cleaning that the outer area, the the vulva, the entrance, and then when you get out of the shower, um date serum, it is your moisturizer.
- 23:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you put you know, a P size on your fingers and you just you know rub it into the the uh you know the vulva area.
- 24:02SPEAKER_01: And uh it you can also the mons as well.
- 24:05SPEAKER_01: I mean it's it's a hydrator, it's hydrating the skin, and and that's all you really need.
- 24:10SPEAKER_01: Um the lubricant is amazing.
- 24:15SPEAKER_01: You know, again, it sort of has this extra virgin coconut oil base, um, where with the CBD, and it can be used on the outside where the you know clitoris is and all around that area if you want to use it to masturbate or you want to use it with your brother.
- 24:33SPEAKER_01: Um and it can be used you know for for dryness as well if you're having vaginal dryness.
- 24:40SPEAKER_01: Everybody loves it.
- 24:41SPEAKER_02: So it's like a it's a three-step routine that just like we would do for our like our facial skin, you know, it's it's a three-step routine.
- 24:47SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 24:49SPEAKER_01: So hopefully you're hopefully you're showering and then you're gonna have sex and you can use all three.
- 24:54SPEAKER_01: Whether you're having sex with yourself or someone else.
- 24:57SPEAKER_01: But yeah, I mean that that would be a good daily thing to do also.
- 25:01SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 25:02SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 25:02SPEAKER_02: No, I I really I thank you for doing that because you know, I think that's that's very important, especially for young women these days.
- 25:08SPEAKER_02: You know, I don't know if you guys agree, but you know, there's there's not a lot of information out there.
- 25:11SPEAKER_02: I know I've had like, you know, just young women that I mentor, like that, you know, these kind of questions they're they're scared to ask, right?
- 25:18SPEAKER_02: It's like almost like awkward for them.
- 25:20SPEAKER_02: And I remember when we were young and I was like, yeah, same.
- 25:23SPEAKER_02: You know, so I really, really think that getting that information out there and telling people it's okay to think of it like a three-step routine, like that that's very important these days.
- 25:33SPEAKER_02: That's awesome.
- 25:34SPEAKER_02: Okay, well, I I honestly, you know, I I want to ask you guys a little bit about um just as you're growing, um, what do you see as the future?
- 25:43SPEAKER_02: Because, you know, again, like I said, you've you've transitioned from such you know important areas into you know now gynecological health.
- 25:50SPEAKER_02: And you know, in the future, do you see um your range expanding even more?
- 25:54SPEAKER_02: Um, what's the future for Urdu Beauty?
- 25:57SPEAKER_03: Sherry, do you want to take that one first?
- 26:00SPEAKER_01: Sure, yeah, I can start it.
- 26:02SPEAKER_01: I mean, look, I'm all about whatever we can do to hydrate uh and not just the outside.
- 26:09SPEAKER_01: So the inside is such an important area to also continue to hydrate, especially as women do, but vaginal rhino is very, very common and it can happen from you know, even birth control to you know taking uh anti-histamines.
- 26:26SPEAKER_01: There's a lot of reasons why a lot of women feel dry in the vagina and so uh product coming out that's going to go inside the vagina because it is a great moisturizer.
- 26:36SPEAKER_01: Um, and you know, there's that's hopefully sooner than later.
- 26:40SPEAKER_01: And and again, sexual I know about that, just like you were talking to before.
- 26:46SPEAKER_01: You know, women uh need to we're responsible for sexual wellness, us.
- 26:52SPEAKER_01: So we have to make sure we have enough products, enough things to to make the vagina feel good, whether you're putting a penis in there or whatever your pleasure is, or masturbating, we need all the right uh necessary ingredients.
- 27:08SPEAKER_01: So Urza wants to create as many, you know, body-specific as far as you know, that's gonna align well with the PHO safe to use to get us there in all ways, in all ways.
- 27:22SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 27:23SPEAKER_02: That makes sense.
- 27:24SPEAKER_02: I I love that.
- 27:25SPEAKER_03: I think we're really um moving forward into 2021 with big hopes for Ursha to become a really well-recognized and trusted name, not only in skincare, but also when it comes to women's health and sexual wellness.
- 27:41SPEAKER_03: And so I think we're we're doing our best to uh dig our hands into that.
- 27:48SPEAKER_03: And this first three product collection that we're that that we're launching with um is very exciting.
- 27:54SPEAKER_03: And we definitely have, as Dr.
- 27:56SPEAKER_03: Sherry was mentioning, some other things in mind.
- 28:00SPEAKER_03: Um, and as far as Ursha as a whole, um, I know internally we've kind of talked about uh supplements and expanding our skincare earthribute line in other ways too.
- 28:12SPEAKER_03: So we definitely have some exciting plans ahead.
- 28:15SPEAKER_03: And I think as we move forward, our hope is just to become more recognized as a go-to in skincare, women's health, and sexual wellness categories.
- 28:25SPEAKER_02: That's awesome.
- 28:26SPEAKER_02: I really like that.
- 28:27SPEAKER_02: And I really like the holistic approach you guys are taking.
- 28:29SPEAKER_02: You know, I really do.
- 28:30SPEAKER_02: And, you know, I think that's we need more of that in the beauty industry, you know, rather than compartmentalization.
- 28:36SPEAKER_02: So thank you guys so much.
- 28:38SPEAKER_02: This was awesome.
